READ THE TAGS PRETTY PLZ

Hey yall! This is my first fanfic and I'm not expecting anything out of it.

But I just NEEDED an Izuku Midoriya insane fic, since I have never seen one. (well not any like mine)

This will be a few chapters, I have everything written out its just that I'm rewriting like... all of it.

Again this will probably not be the best but hope you don't mind my writing and just like the concept.

(my relationship tags are in a silly goofy mood so expect some added later on)

Chapter 1: The News...

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Katsuki ’s on edge… wait- actually everyone is. I mean who wouldn’t be? After the news Class 3-A heard of course they would be!

It doesn’t feel like 3-A anymore…

Katsuki shakes his head slightly, hoping to remove that train of thought. Class 3-A has always excelled, they were the brand new generation of heroes god damn it! And they weren’t stupid…

Or… they thought they weren’t.

Damn extras…

Katsuki surveys the room, everyone seems to have their head hanging low, some have tears in their eyes, or some are just plain out shocked.

I told them… I told them! Now…

Katsuki scoffs, slouching further in his seat as he faces forward again.

We have to pay the price.

Chapter Text

Several Months Before... Nearing End Of 2nd Year

“I don't understand…you guys can’t hang with me at lunch, again?” Midoriya asks his supposedly 3 closest friends.

Iida stiffened slightly before answering, “Midoriya, we will hang out tomorrow, it's just we have to go visit the support department for some gear.”

Midoriya has the words, “Can’t I come with?” hang on the tip tongue but evidently, on the past couple of days, he wasn’t welcomed.

“Don’t worry Deku!” Uraka beams at him as she leans forward, “We will hang tomorrow, promise!” Her smile is warm and full of care, but Midoriya couldn’t shake the feeling of…

What was the feeling from her smile? Usually, his heart would skip a beat or he would smile back…

“Yeah sure…” He replies weakly. “Tomorrow.” Asui eyes him suspiciously as if she is trying to pick him apart before turning around and walking away.

“Tsu?” Uraraka hears footsteps retreating behind her, “Wait up!” She turns around, her back towards Midoriya before running after the frog-like girl.

Midoriya’s eyes drift off to the right, looking at Iida. Iida seems to be deep in thought before noticing his eyes on him, stiffening, and walking away slowly. “I'll see you in class Midoriya.” Going to follow his two classmates until Midoriya calls out to him.

“Iida!” Iida turns around, expression… annoyed? “Do you know why Todoroki is acting like that?”

Iida itches the back of his head before replying, “Acting like what?”

“You know…” Bringing his scarred hands to run through his hair, “Avoiding us, no longer sitting with us.”

He seems to think for a moment before answering, chopping his arms through the air. “I’m sorry Midoriya, I do not know.” He shuffles his feet slightly, “But I must go. I will see you in class!” Midoriya opened his mouth to speak again, taking his hand out of his hair but was unable to since Iida was already running down the hall to follow the other two. Standing there awkwardly, Midoriya only had one thought.

I don’t know what that was… But that was all bullshit.

Later In the Common Room

Midoriya stands in the middle of the elevator, heading to the kitchen. The earlier interaction places on loop in his head, it's been a repeating thing for the last few days now. He can't seem to pinpoint what he did wrong... He obsessively remembers the last few days, trying to remember anything he could have done to set them off. But that was before his stomach growled... loudly.

Hopefully, no one ate my Katsudon.

The elevator finally dings and Izuku steps out, head down looking at his phone before hearing shuffling in front of him. Pulling his head up, he is met with the sight of a certain blond hair’s back. Midoriya breaks out into a grin.

“Kacchan!”

Kacchan flinches hard, “Damn it Deku.” He turns to glare at the One for all user, “You scared the living shit outta me!”

Putting his hands up in a peaceful gesture, “Sorry Kacchan.” Kacchan turns back to return what he was doing, grunts in return. Midoriya sets his phone on the table, walking over to the refrigerator before feeling a pair of eyes on him.

“Something wrong?” He asked.

Red eyes aborted their placement, “No… you were gonna have the rest of the Katsudon?” He dumps something into the pot he was working on.

“Yeah, I was.”

Kacchan pauses, and wipes his cheek with his shoulder before replying, “Sit down and have some of this curry instead.”

Midoriya smiles, “Ooo your famous curry!” Closing the fridge and walking over to the chairs and sitting down. Midoriya and Kacchan’s relationship, after a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, finally mended. Midoriyia could now confidently say they were friends.

“I can feel your eyes on me, shitty nerd.” Kacchan replies gruffly.

“Sorry… Just thinking.” Midoriya crosses his arms on the table before putting his head on them, green curls bobbing. “So why are you making food?”

Kacchan shrugged sharply, “Pinky wasn’t feeling good and asked me to make some.” He paused, “Made too much and wasn’t sure how to get rid of it.”

Midoriya sits up, “And now I’m here to the rescue!”

Kacchan shakes his head, “Sure nerd.”  They sit in comfortable silence for a little while after that, but Midoriya has questions.

“Are you okay?” Voice laced in slight concern.

“'M fine, why?” Kacchan walks over to the cupboard with the plates and bowls and pulls out 2. Walking back over, he starts to plate the curry.

“I know we’re finally friends again…” Midoriya watches the blonds back cautiously, seeing him tense but decides to continue on, “But you seem really… calm right now.”

Katsuki freezes then turns around with the curry and to place it in front of Deku. He leans on the counter, facing away from him so he couldn’t see his expression. “Something has been bothering me for the last couple of days.”

Katsuki replies softly, “Just thinking about a lot.”

It's silent for a moment before he feels a tap on his shoulder, turning around to face the green eyes filled with concern. “Wanna talk about it?” His freckles splattered on his face, green eyes wide, green hair messy and entangled.

“No, I'm okay.” He lies, “It’s something I gotta do on my own.” Deku doesn’t look convinced but decides not to ask, and they eat in silence.

If only you knew what was happening.

(A Few Days Earlier

“THAT’S BULLSHIT!” Katsuki yells, enraged by what he just heard.

“Bakugou calm down!” Sero yells from where he was standing.

“NO!” He yells, letting a few explosions from his palms smoke slightly filling the air. “THAT'S BULLSHIT AND YOU KNOW IT!” He turns to Ochaco and Mina, “That's your evidence? Seriously? After going through his stuff his analysis scares you?! You already know he did analysis!?”

“You don't understand Bakugou!” Mina yells back.

“No, I do understand. You're scared so you're shifting the blame onto the least likely person here, is that right?!”

“Bakugou.” The blonde whips his head around to the dual quirk user.

“What Icyhot?!” Red eyes burn with rage.

“Maybe they're right.” Everyone is slightly stunned by his response, “After all the villain attacks surrounding him, and by what they said his analysis is proven to be harmful. Remember the USJ? The training camp? Someone must of told them. ?”

Katsuki is silent for a moment before stalking over to Todoroki, who is already frosting and smoking on either side, ready for a fight. Grabbing his shirt white shirt harshly and shaking him before whispering to him.

“Don’t give me that bullshit you fucker, I know all about your family issues,” Todoroki freezes and meets his eyes, “Did you forget what he did for you at the sports festival?” Todoroki tenses at that before Bakugou shoves him away into Iida.

“Bakugou no m-”

“I know one thing.” His head is cast downwards, “That damn nerd is the only reason I’m alive,” He scoffs, “Why any of us are alive in fact. He's our friend, and he’s saved us so many times, he has helped us through many hardships, and now you just want to forget all of that because you realized that he is smarter than you.” He puts his head up, his face turned into a snarl. “What a bunch of dumbasses.”

“Bakugou!” The blond snaps his head to Jiro. “There’s nothing we can do, they already told Aizawa.” She gestures to Ochaco and Mina, “This is out of our hands.”

Kirishima walks over to Katsuki to put his hand on the blond's shoulder, before getting slapped away. “There is something we can do.” Katsuki surveys the room, before stalking to the elevator, “I’m leaving, there are too many idiots in one room.” He clicks the button to go to his floor, he can feel eyes on him. The door opens, he walks in and turns around to face the stunned group of 18.

“Let me know when you guys get more brain cells.” The door begins to shut, but not fast enough before Katsuki flips them off.)

Chapter Text

“Thanks for the food Kacchan!” Midoriya beams, “It was very good.”

“‘S nothing nerd.” Kacchan replies, a small smile on his face. “But you know I’m right.”

Midoriya gasps loudly, “No you're not! Mint chocolate chip is the shit!”

Kacchan gasps slightly before grabbing his bowl, and walking over to the sink, “Woah, you kiss your mother with that mouth?”

“Yes, since my mouth tastes like mint.” Kacchan just groans. They talk for a little while longer before hearing footsteps behind them, Kacchan’s face hardens.

Midoriya whips his head around, “Oh hey guys!” Sero, Kaminari, Mina, and Kirishima are staring at them. They don’t reply and just stand in silence.

“I made some curry… if you fuckers want some.” Kacchan replies weakly. They nod their heads before finally walking over.

The tension is there, Midoriya can feel it. But from what? He couldn’t tell you. “I was wondering why no one was out here, it's the middle of the day and it’s so bare.”

“Yeah.”

“I see that.

“Cool.”

“Mhm.”

Tilting his head to the side before laughing nervously, “You guys okay?...”

“Yeah.”

“Peachy.”

“Great.”

“Thanks, Bakugou.” Mina says, standing next to him, plating herself some curry. Silence is loud in the air, it wasn’t long before Midoriya started to shift in his seat uncomfortably, but the common room doors started to open.

Aizawa walks in, his hair tied up, and capture weapon neatly around his neck. He scans the common room before eyeing Midoriya. “Midoriya.” The green hair individual's head whips around.

“Yeah Sensei?”

“Come with me.” He says gruffly, walking out of the building abruptly.

“Um…” He turns back to the other teens, who seem to be staring at him intently. “I'll see you guys later I guess?” He replies before hopping out of his seat and starting to the door.

Izuku Midoriya bounces his leg nervously, trying to ignore the glares from all his teachers in the room. He was called into the office, not really sure why. But all he knows is that everyone has been treating him weirdly like he was a virus and they were afraid to get it.

His classmates, friends, all started to become distant. First, it was wary looks, those looks turned to glares, those turned into canceled sparring sessions to excuses of why they can’t hang out with him at lunch.

I feel like I'm in middle school again…

“Excuse me, Principal Nezu I am unsure why I’-” A (glare?) from the (mouse? Bear? Rat?… Nezu) shuts him up. Principal Nezu put down the file he was reading and looked directly at Izuku, a fake smile forming on his face.

“Midoriya!” He chirps, louder than he needs to, causing Izuku to suppress a flinch. Aizawa’s eyes narrow slightly. “Some…” Nezu looked around slightly before making eye contact again. “Issues were brought to my attention, and I just needed to…” He smiles softly. “Hear what you have to say. I would like your opinion on this matter.” Izuku tilts his head slightly.

“Of course, Principal Nezu, I want to help any way I can.”

“Great!” He chirps loudly once again before hopping off his desk to go to one of the file cabinets that Vlad was next to in the corner. He opens one of the drawers before pulling out… something unexpected, something recognizable.

“Is that my?...” Izuku’s voice trails off before he can finish. That’s his hero analysis #18, which is tucked safely in his room. Well, it's SUPPOSED to be. How did it get here?

Did they break into my room?

Nezu walks back over to his desk, places the notebook perfectly on it, and hops back on his seat. “Midoriya, do you know what this is?”

Izuku nods slightly. “Yes…” He answers skeptically, now feeling a different aura present. “That’s my #18 journal, how did you get this?” He goes to reach for his notebook before it’s pulled away.

“Midoriya…” Nezu speaks carefully before continuing. “We, the UA staff,” says as he gestures to everyone around him. “Have some questions to ask you about this notebook.” Nezu explains as he pats the notebook lightly.

Izuku surveys the rooms. Aizawa is glaring at him, Midnight is talking quietly to Present Mic in the corner, Vlad is talking to Snipe and All Might… He looks… Disappointed? Sad? Confused?

He focuses back before answering, “Yeah, I'll answer your questions.” Nezu nods slowly before opening the notebook in front of him.

“Izuku Midoriya…” He meets his eyes. “Are you the UA traitor?” The room is deathly silent.

Oh.

Oh.

So that’s what this is about. Is that why everyone has been treating me that way?

“What? No.” Aizawa scoffs, “I'm really not!” He says louder than he needs to, trying to look all his teachers in the eyes. They avoid it.

“Midoriya…” He starts to read through the notebook, “This information can be deadly, you do know that right?” Deku couldn’t believe what he was hearing, as Nezu continued. “This information, this analysis is on par with mine.” He pauses to meet his eyes. “Someone with an intelligence quirk.”

Izuku sits up straighter, about to explain himself before Nezu pushes on. “This information can be fatal if brought into the wrong hands. The information in this notebook has everyone's strengths and weaknesses, and how to emotionally break them down for years to come.” Nezu's voice was getting louder. “This has everyone! The teachers, class A, class B, even heroes. You have all their signature moves with their quirks all figured out in impossibly fine detail. You even have ways to weaken them, like Ochako Urakaka you said you would cut off her hands?” Nezu begins to read from the notebook. Izuku’s ears go static.

No

No

I'M NOT

I'M NOT

“Katsuki Bakugou, you said you would dislocate his shoulders. Tenya Iida, you said, “His family members seem like a perfect way to manipulate him.” Is that correct?” Nezu locks eyes with Aizawa for a second. “Shouta Aizawa, you would use his students against him. You would cut out his eyeballs.” Izuku starts to feel sick, numb. He would never do this.

He would never hurt his friends intentionally, or his teachers, or other heroes. “But that's lowly analysis, anyone could do that, that's basic observation. But it's more than that. You have UA’s layout, of the classes and dorms, and weakness on how to break in… So Izuku Midoriya… Are you the UA traitor?” His head snapped up from where he was looking at the ground.

“No… No!” Izuku pleads, staring at his feet again. “You have to understand, I’ve been doing analysis since I was 5 years old.” He looks up at Nezu, Nezu gestures for him to continue. “I have #19 notebooks in total, that one is my most recently completed one. I analyze weaknesses and then use that information to think of better or more useful ways to do stuff or help people. I was going to come to you with some ways of how people might break-in, and I help my classmates with my analysis. I've been doing this for years, please I would never betray UA.”

Nezu's eyes narrow. “So, you really haven’t been sending information to the League Of Villains?” Izuku shakes his head violently. Vlad then speaks up.

“Oh, come on,” He roars, “You can’t possibly believe what this punk is saying! Even if he’s not, That stuff in that notebook is creepy.”

Creepy

Creepy

Creepy

“Oh, come now,” Midnight says almost wistfully, “This is Izuku Midoriya we’re talking about.” Midnight walks over to a silent Aizawa, tugging his arm. “It isn’t him, you’ve seen what he’s done for us. For Eri.” Aizawa flinches for a moment before looking at Midoriya, studying him.

Aizawa turns to Nezu. “Should we wait for Tsukauchi?” All Might finally looks up from his hands to look at Deku. He’s shaking, tears pricking his eyes as he grips to the armrests. If they wait for Tsukauchi, that would be 1 month… maybe 2. He isn't even in the country at the moment. It couldn’t be Young Midoriya… but, after all the attacks centered around him and the stuff in the notebook.

Did I pick the wrong successor?

Nezu seems to think for a moment. “Midoriya.” He doesn’t respond before Nezu goes on. “You will be placed in a comfortable cell in UA, a bigger version for your room. Equip with everything you need, until Detective Tsukauchi comes back and he’s able to confirm everything you've said. I will inform your Mother, please Aizawa escort him back to the dorms to retrieve his things.” Aizawa stops leaning against the wall to approach a crying Deku.

“No, please! I'm not a traitor!” He yells as Aizawa forces him to stand. “YOU CAN'T DO THIS! You can't imprison a minor like this!” He steps away from Aizawa. "This is illegal, you can’t do this.”

Nezu looks at him annoyed, “If you read your UA contract it says that if one is participating in any villainous acts in any way shape or form, then UA will find a punishment fit.”

“But I'm not doing that!” Midoriya yells.

“Well we aren’t sure of that,” Nezu smiles, “Are we?” He waves his hand in the air, shooing him, “It won’t be long, it will just feel like you are in your dorm room.”

He looks from Aizawa to Nezu, “You can’t…” Voice shaking, cracking, “What about my classmates? My friends? What will you tell them?” Aizawa looks at him with a pained expression.

“Problem child…” He pauses. “They're the ones who informed me.”

Chapter Text

Current time... 3 Months In 3rd Year

Katsuki is waiting in the common room for the rest of the extras to come down, they were informed a couple of days ago from Aizawa and they're still late? Everyone has been down lately, well more than usual. Katsuki just can’t believe it. There is no way Deku would do something like this…

He is starting to spiral just as Aizawa enters the common room, eyebags worse than usual with black hair nappy. 3-A circles him, he does a headcount before speaking.

“Listen… I don’t want this to happen.” He says as he looks around. “But Nezu says he needs answers and he said he will only talk if all of you are there.” Everyone tenses at that. Aizawa notices before speaking again, “Don’t worry me and All Might will be there. The whole conversation will be recorded and remember he is in Tartarus.” Everyone relaxes before Ojiro speaks up.

“Aizawa… You don’t think Midoryia did anything like that, right?” Aizawa is silent for a moment before turning his back to them and facing the door.

(When Shouta heard the news, you couldn’t imagine the look on his face. It’s been months since the day his brightest student left UA.

Could you say that Shouta is disappointed in himself? Absolutely.

Could you say that Shouta thought this was going to happen? It could have… and it did. At least that's what Nezu told him. It's just so hard to believe…

Standing in front of Class A’s homeroom door, he could barely bring himself to open it.

Be strong.

Grabbing the handle and opening the door, it clattering just as everyone is moving to their seats swiftly, room silent.

“I’d say you guys are a pro at that.” He says smiling softly, he walks to the podium, eyes drifting to seat 19. A purple hair individual sitting there, trying to take up the space that could never be filled.

Take a deep breath, you have to tell them.

“I have an announcement.” All eyes that were looking away were snapped to the front of the room. “Nezu informed me that a…” Villain? No, that didn’t sound right. “A… certain individual was caught, and he needs you guys to help get answers out of him.”

Everyone looked at each other confused.

Tsuyu raised her hand, “Why us? Ribbit.”

Taking a good look at his students, he sighs. “It's Midoriya, he's in Tartarus.” A beat of silence before the chaos.

“What?!”

“Midoriya?!”

“Your kid-”

“ENOUGH!” His eyes flash red, hair standing straight. Everyone finally settled in before he continues, “Midoriya walked into a police station and declared he murdered people in cold blood. He made a scene demanding to be taken to Tartarus for his crimes. The police recognized him as a UA student and took him to Tartarus for safekeeping until Detective Tsukauchi arrived, after arriving to see if he was telling the truth, Midoriya wouldn’t answer him declaring he wouldn’t talk until he speaks with Class A.” Rubbing his hands together before putting them in his pocket, everyone seemed shocked by what he said.

Closing his eyes for a moment, “Forms will be brought in later, bring them to your parents to be signed to be able to go. Now,-”

“Why didn’t they just let him go? Isn’t that kind of keeping an innocent safe?” Todoroki speaks up, seeming to emphasize innocence.

Shouta shakes his head, “That is information I cannot disclose at the moment, now-”

God he needed a nap.)

“I'm not sure…” After ignoring this question the whole week and finally answering, they were shocked. A deathly silence hangs in the air, if anything to Katsuki, Aizawa looks like he’s shaking. “Everyone on the bus.” He says finally before walking out.

The bus ride there is annoying as hell. He had to keep hearing Ochako's annoying ass sniffles.

Isn’t this your fuckin fault? You thought he was the traitor

Katsuki didn’t, he didn’t. He warned them. And yet, he didn’t fight hard enough. Like a coward. He was scared, of what? Of being expelled? Was that more important than Deku, his lifelong best friend, someone he owns his life to 10 times over? He grips his pants harder, not noticing his hands were smoking until Kirishima put his hand on his shoulder. He softly smiles at Katsuki before slowly slipping back into his thoughts.

He looks over the seats to the blond hair in the front of the bus.

I wonder why All Might didn't stand up for him.

I wonder if he regrets that he didn't.

(Yagi wasn’t ready for this… at all. Not ready to face his student, not ready to teach, not ready to… do anything.

He questions himself every 5 minutes about why he didn’t fight for him, he misses his smile, his student, his successor.

He still remembered the day they announced Young Midoriya’s innocence. Bakugou proceeded to curse everyone out, even himself for not fighting harder. He cursed out the teachers too, and he was suspended for 2 weeks.

Yagi wishes he did something, had the fight for him as Young Bakugou did.

why didn't he...?)

When they finally reach the prison, they go through security check to security check. After what feels like forever, They reach the door. Aizawa and All Might pause before entering, they turn around. “Before we enter…” All Might trails off.

“Be careful what you say.” Aizawa continues. “They haven’t told me much, but they say he’s… unhinged.”

Shinso interrupts, “What does that mean?”

“I'm not sure…” Aizawa hardens his glare at the teens, “But remember this isn’t the same Izuku Midoriya you used to know. You haven't seen him in months, he’s changed… different. If you can’t handle what happens in there, it's okay to leave the room.''

“No, it isn’t,” Jiro speaks up. “I apologize, but I may have not been as close with him but he was still a friend and I betrayed him…” She takes a deep breath, “But I want to help any way I can, for Midoriya's sake.”

Nods and replies of agreement are heard from the group, “All right.” He turns around and walks in.

As class A trickles in they are greeted with a white room with two chairs in the middle of it, ceiling lights, and a window with white on the other side.

That will probably be where the teachers sit Katsuki notes as he looks at the chairs. Sure enough, the teachers take their seats in the dead silence. “We’re ready…” Aizawa says, probably to the people controlling the room. The white on the other side of the window flicks, and what they see makes everyone gasps in horror.

Overview :

“We’re ready…” Aizawa says, probably to the people controlling the room. The white on the other side of the window flicks, and what they see makes everyone gasps in horror.

Nothing could have prepared Katsuki for the other side.

On the other side of the window… was a madhouse.

The toilet in the left corner overflowed, leaking water into the room, a puddle spread out on the floor. The silver bed frame is disconnected from the bed itself, propped up against one of the white padded walls. The bed itself was on the floor, pillow nowhere to be seen but that's not what scared them.

But what scared them was the paper’s, the broken crayons everywhere. The papers with drawings of… them.

Gory drawings. Some with crayon stabs through it, and those papers are everywhere. On the floor, toilet, even some on the wall. Taking a good look at them, they were surprisingly realistic.

A Todoroki being hung there, a Mina being stabbed here, an All Might being decapitated there.

The room was dark, not plenty of light but enough to see the figure in the corner. The familiar green tuft of hair. He seemed to be writing, but from the back, Katsuki could tell he was wearing a white bodysuit, one that went from his ankles all the way to his neck.

The room is filled with the mumbling Katsuki was once so used to hearing. His heartbeat quickened, his breathing heavier. Taking a glance around the room, he can tell he wasn’t the only one. His classmates looked pale to the face, Aizawa looked horrified and All Might looked like he might pass out. Everyone seemed to be looking around the room trying to find their own pictures.

The mumbling ceases, and Katsuki proceeds to snap his head to the window, watching his old friend very carefully.  “I can hear you…” The voice… it can’t be.

His voice is hollow, raspy; it doesn't sound anything like the Izuku Midoriya he once knew.

This ISN’T the Izuku Midoriya you once knew…

But

What happened to him?

 He then starts… laughing.

A maniac laugh, a type that sends a shiver down your spine. One that reaches the depths of your stomach and pulls.

It's off-putting, it doesn’t sound right.

Dread starts to set in Katsuki’s stomach…

This was a bad idea.

Izuku… Deku… then faces the taken-back audience, his old classmates, his old friends, with the most terrifying smile. It's unhinged. He looks like he hasn’t slept in weeks, his green hair is nappy and all over. It’s a smile that's placement doesn’t look quite right, it's full of yellow teeth that haven't been brushed in probably a while.

Deku proceeds to stand up from the corner of the room, notebook in hand incased by all-white gloves. His smile is still placed on his face looking overjoyed to see them, he proceeds to bow from his corner of the room.

“Friends!” Fuck, That's the voice. “It’s been a while!” He approaches the glass with that creepy smile that's plastered over that freckled face. Those green eyes look over his old class, but before he can make it to the glass, he slips on the toilet water...

And falls on the floor... on his ass... That loud thud scared the living shit outta Katsuki and probably most people in the room. Deku doesn't look fazed though.

"Ahaha, silly me." He proceeds to stand up, water dripping from his ass but he doesn't seem to care, to focused on the group of 22 in front of him. He tilts his head. His body is smaller, it's lean, he still has his muscle though. “Iida, Todoroki, Asui, Kirishima, Ojrio, Sato, of and is that Shinso? Uraraka!” She flinches, “It’s been a while, how are you!” He says in a cheerful tone, a slight smile on his face.

She doesn’t answer before averting her eyes to something on the floor, Katsuki follows her eyes, his breath hitches. On the floor is a gory picture of her, one with a pencil stabbed through the heart. Deku seems to follow her line of sight before smiling creepily again, bending over to take the picture in his hands, showing it off to the class. “Isn’t it pretty!” His eyes sweep over the class. “I made it myself.” He gasps in delight, dropping the picture which is now completely forgotten. “All Might!”

(The former number one hero starts to shake slightly, seeing Young Midoryia like this… dread starts to set in his gut.

You did this…)

“All Might!” He starts waving, “It’s me! Izuku!” He starts to bounce on his toes excitedly, "Oh my god, it's All Might! THE All Might!"

“My boy…” All Might voices out, slightly shaky. “What happened? Are you alright?” He stands, being level to level with a green-haired boy.

He tilts his head, “What do you mean?” He asks overjoyed. “I'm perfectly fine!” He smiles, this smile was different from his previous smile, the one that could make a child cry. It was his real smile, his real hero smile, one that tugs the heartstrings of whoever looks at it.

“Deku…” Katsuki breathes, it slips out, the teen turns to the blonde hair boy, green locks with red. All Might then sits back down.

“Kacchan!” He exclaims like he’s 5 years old again. “You came to see me!”

No shit… It took a lot to convince his mom to sign the paper to go, but he wasn’t going to miss talking to Deku one more time. “Yeah… Yeah, I did.” His tone was much softer than he thought it would be.

“That's good.” Deku’s mind seemed to be elsewhere although he started to sing an English song. It was interesting watching him, the way he pulled and itched at his hair while he sang. His eyes seemed to twitch every couple of seconds, it wasn’t obvious but he had his guard up. After a little while of this, he seems to have forgotten all about his audience. He walked away singing his song, grabbing the soggy notebook on the floor and the crayons in the corner, and started to draw again.

"You guys..." Denki speaks up, "He doesn't seem... mentally well."

Aoyama nods, "He doesn't seem all there mes amies."

Koda speaks up, voice quiet and almost a whisper, "He's acting... weird."

Aizawa then speaks up, “Midoriya, I'm sure you know why we are here… correct?”

Deku seems to finally tune back in, and approaches the glass again before speaking slowly, “For answers.” He locks eyes with everyone in the room one by one. “It’s not like you would ever purposely come to see me after what you all did.” He said, his voice laced in poison.

“Midoriya,” Aizawa speaks carefully as if he is weighing his words. “Yes, that is wh-”

He proceeds to chuck his notebook at the wall, and his crayons are now abandoned on the floor. “How’s Eri?” Deku interrupts.

Aizawa hesitates, a little taken back by the question. “She’s fine…”

“Did you finally get custody over her?” His scarred hands are neatly placed behind him, his face has a ghost of an amusing smirk.

Aizawa meets his eyes, “Yes I did.” He itches his nose, “It was right after… after…”  He looks down and leans over, his hands resting on his knees.

“After you locked me in UA, and wrongly held me captive right?” He was full-on smiling now as if the whole situation was amusing. Everyone flinched by his words.

Aizawa nodded slowly.

“Now I wonder who saved your adoptive daughter,” Deku chuckled before he continued. “Must have been a pretty heroic guy… don't you think?” Aizawa freezes before meeting his eyes and looking away, Deku didn't seem done with the conversation though. “Do you regret it?” Deku shook his head, “Of course you regret it.” He shrugged smugly, “You let down one of your students,” Deku looked down at his old teacher clenching his pants, he grinned in delight. "Abandoned them, betrayed them." He knew what he was doing, stabbing deeper into his teacher's guilt. “Not just any one of your students, but the guy who saved your daughter.” He started to tap his chin as if he was deep in thought. “I wonder if you even make a good father now, or teacher for that matter.” Aizawa stood up abruptly.

"That's enough Midoriya!" He yells.

He started laughing.

God, that laugh was creepy and annoying as hell.

“God that was priceless!” He was laughing hysterically now, then pointing a finger at Aizawa. “God it didn’t take much to get-” He doubled over laughing, Aizawa looked annoyed, a little sad even as he watches his student. “Wait-” He was panting now, “Give me a moment.” Aizawa was clenching his fist before taking his seat again. After a while the laughter echoed through the room and finally ceased, he starts standing up straight, he looks at his old teacher again. “It didn’t take much to anger you huh?” Deku itched his head for a second, "It's kind of pathetic honestly..."

Green eyes flick over to the teens before glaring at Aizawa. "Big bad Eraserhead..." Deku fakes pout, “I wonder how hard it’s been to keep up with the non-frightened hero act ever since you turned on me.” Everyone was silent for a few moments.

“So what’s the point of us being here, why did you have to talk to us?” Shinso speaks up, obviously trying to change the subject. Izuku takes a couple of seconds to process what Shinso just asked.

“There are so many points!” Deku stalks over to the corner of the room, grabbing his mattress and sliding it over the water, it directly in front of the glass, then sits down. His tone was deathly serious, “I want to ask you all some questions.”

Chapter Text

Everyone is now confused, but Izuku presses on. “I just want to know a few things, consider it…” He looks around the room, “Compensation for what you all put me through. Sounds good?” Katsuki surely thought Aizawa would say no and hurry them out of there…

“Okay.” Everyone looked at their teacher, confused as to why he would agree.

Oh right, he needs answers from Deku.

“Wonderful!” He leaned forward, crisscrossed, his head on his scarred hands. “Now… I want to know who turned me in…” Green eyes looked around, waiting for an answer. Sighing dramatically, he continued, “Fine, more simple… Who was the one who caused my life to start spiraling, who ruined my hero career, and who ruined my relationship with everyone I have ever cared about.” He sits up straight to start itching his arm, not succeeding. "Cmon! The guilt must be killing you guys, now's finally the time to get it off your chest~" Deku's voice in a sing-song manner.

Everyone was silent for a good while, while Deku's smile never faded. “Your right. It is killing me.” Ochako speaks up, looking at Mina who looks alarmed.

"Wait Ochako-"

Deku smiles, She’s trembling and shuts her eyes while she speaks. “Me and Mina found your #17 notebook in the common room… We wondered what could be in there since you're always so secretive about it you know?” Deku’s face drops, now was blank. “We decided to read it, and those first few pages…” She starts to choke on her words just as Mina sighs and walks over to put her hand on her shoulder.

“There was some scary stuff…” She says quietly, “It was so accurate and precise and so… scary…” She starts to hug a sobbing Ochako. “So we gave it to Aizawa, and he said he will have a conversation with Nezu and told us to put the notebook back, to not tell you.” She gulps, “But you know how I am, a blabbermouth…" She smiled sadly, "So I slipped up, everyone questioned it and we told them. We didn’t think it was you, but there was a little doubt ya know. After all the villain attacks surrounding you… But we didn’t expect…” She starts to clench and unclench her fists, “I'm so sorry Deku.” Tears fell freely, sobs fill the room from them both. Before that creepy laughter came again.

“W-Wait…” He says between laughs, everyone focuses on him. “You- You mean to tell me that's the reason?” Tears were starting to form now. “You didn’t bother to ask me? You just assumed… that was it?” His laughter quieted before speaking wistfully, “That was enough to get you to turn on me? After everything, I've done for you? After looking through my stuff, you just assumed?”

"We're sorry Deku!" Ochako yelled, "I couldn't live like this without telling you..." Her hands were shaking as she rubbed her tears, as they proceeded to fall on the tiles like slow rain. "Now knowing that you're like this, I can't not fe-"

"That's what you feel bad about?" Deku interrupts, face contorted with rage, hands are twisting violently as he proceeds to pop one of his knuckles. "Me acting like this? Not for what you put me through."

Mina and Ochako looked at each other for a moment, "No no Deku, that's no-"

"No amount of thanks will ever make up for what happened to me." Deku proceeded to stand up, swaying slightly. His face turned into a snarl, "You don't know what happened to me after I left."

He gestures to the class, "I couldn't return back to you guys, after finding out the reason I was held captive." He walked around on the bed, standing in the center of it. "I thought I could," He swept his hands together then pointed into the distance, "Return back home, but my dear old mother kicked me out."

"Auntie Inko?" Katsuki whispered softly.

"Mhm, that bitch never cared about me anyway." His face turned into a grin, "So I was homeless, quirkless again-"

"Quirkless?" Aizawa finally spoke up, All Mights faced turned white as snow.

"Quiet!" He shushed him, "I'll get to that later. So homeless, quirkless once again, with no one to lean on so I wandered the streets," Dekus face fell into a frown, he moved his arms through the air, "going somewhere and nowhere at the same time. That was until..." He bit his lip and smiled, Class A listened intently. "I found the League."

(It was an interesting meeting. Being drugged then brought to the Leagues base and being tied to a chair for 2 days before he was finally trusted was an interesting experience.)

Everyone was deathly silent, now only realizing what that meant. They seemed to show it on their faces because his grin only got wider. "Yeah, you know what that means. I was already pretty far gone then, and trust me they were surprised to hear UA's" He hit himself on the chest once, "Golden," twice "Boy," a third time, "Got turned on. So, you know that analysis you were all deathly afraid of?" He made a little wiggle with his fingers.

"You didn't..." Iida whispers into the still air.

"Oh but I did!" Deku clapped his hands in delight. "Gave them my analysis, and trust me they were more than happy to help me. I told them everything, about UA, how to break in, heroes, my classmates," They looked at each other, "Told them all about One For All."

"One for all?" Everyone mumbles to each other.

"Young Midoriya don't-"

Fuck this.

"It's a quirk that was passed down from generation to generation, All Might gave it to me the day of the entrance exam. It's a well kept secret," Deku made an apologetic face, facing Mina. "Oops, sorry! I'm such a blabbermouth." Her face turned into a scowl as Deku smiled cheekily. Deku turns to glare at All Might, "Your lucky I didn't go scream that from the damn rooftops."

"All Might is that true?" Aizawa looked at him incredulously, the former number one hero just nodded solemnly.

Damn it Deku.

"This is too much to process..." Hakugure speaks up, walking to the door of the room and exiting. Katsuki's eyes follow the girl.

"Hakugure!" Ojiro calls out to her.

"I found out a lot of interesting stuff too..." He spins around the room ignoring the invisible bitches disappearance, almost slipping on the toilet water again. He stopped directed in front of the glass, "Learned of a certain individual who could..." Todoroki flinched at the sudden eye contact. "Makes someone's life go up in... flames."

(Midoriya still remembers when he found out.

----------

"Wait- your shitting me?" Midoriya is sitting at the League's bar in an oversized hoodie and gray sweatpants. Toga is sitting next to him, playing with one of her prettier knives as she watches the console Shigiraki brought out, cheering on a losing Twice. He has been there for about 2 weeks, getting pretty close with the League.

"Nope," Dabi says, taking a good sip of his drink. "I am a Todoroki."

"Holy shit," Midoriya whispered, running his hands down his face. Dabi seemed amused by his reaction, a smirk etched among his purple scared face. "God, when did you guys know?" Midoriya says, turning to Toga.

"We learned a couple of months ago," Toga says idly, "Me and Dabi made a promise to kill Endeavor together," She turned to Midoriya, fanged teeth on full display with her cat eyes squinting with her smile. "I bet his blood would be so pretty."

"Of course." Midoriya said, smiling back just as enjoyed.

"How do you think Shoto will act, y'know if he found out?" Dabi asked, Midoriya goes to face him again, breaking his staring contest with Toga.

"Hmm..." Crossing his arms on the black bar counter-top and putting his head on them, his hand reaching to play with his curls. He examines Dabi this time, he's playing with his drink while his face is blank facing forwards. "I'm not sure, but I think he would make it his personal goal to capture you and 'save you.'" Midoriya sits up to use his hands to do quotation marks, "He is a pathetic hero after all."

The black-haired man chuckled airly, sending Midoriya a partially wry look. "It's weird hearing you talk like that." He says, taking another sip of his drink.

The former One For All user grinned, "Isn't it?"

----------)

"What's that supposed to mean?" Aizawa questioned.

(Todoroki was surprised after hearing about Midoriya's situation.

Him killing someone? Even if he was pushed off the edge he would never. There was no way.

But after seeing him like this?

Maybe... everyone has a breaking point.)

He only hummed, ignoring the question.

"Midoriya what does that mean?" Aizawa says through gritted teeth.

Deku seemed to be remembering something at that moment before he spoke again. "Also~," Deku said in a sing-song voice, looking around the room everyone seemed pretty much done for the day, even though they just started. "Did you know there is actually a traitor?" Aizawa was about to open his mouth again to question his statement from before, but then completely freezes at his words.

Wait...

What

Everyone freezes, seeming to replay the words over and over again in their heads before looking at each other wearily.

No no no this isn't good.

"You're lying!..." Katuski yells at the window, his voice echos in the room. "We're not going to turn on each other."

"Oh, but you will Kachaan!" His voice was soft and airy, "Trust me I was shocked when I found out I was like-" He made a shocked face, hands-on on either side of his cheeks, "So shocked, it was crazy!" He bounced on his toes excitingly, his arms on his chest while his hands are still on his face. "You would never guess who it is! They're playing the part so well, they could be an actor." Deku dramatic swoons.

(A certain blonde's heartbeat is the fastest, seeming to beat uncontrollably, scared he might pass out.

But he's working for the League, they wouldn't come after him? Right?

Right?)

Aizawa after not speaking for a while, or even breathing perhaps stands up abruptly. Everyone jolts by the sudden movement, All Might especially. "That's enough Midoriya." He says sternly, Deku lifts up his eyebrow unimpressed. "I think that's our cue to leave. I think we have been here long enough." His tired eyes glance at the group of students as he starts to the door. A couple of people begin to follow before Deku calls out.

"If you must know I'll tell you!" Aizawa freezes in his tracks, slowly turning around. "I presume Tsukauchi is on the other side of the glass listening correct?" Deku looks slightly panicked, his hands being fiddled with. "I'll tell you, that was after all our deal correct?"

Aizawa glared at him, seeming to think it over in his mind before coming back to sit down. Other students began to retrace their steps, although Aoyama and Sato exited anyways. Deku's panicked expression morphs into a grin, "Good boy." Katsuki almost asked Aizawa to stop gritting his teeth so loud. All Might looked back from Deku to Aizawa.

"Aizawa, I think we should le-"

"I did." He sliced his finger across his neck, "Kill people I mean." Gasps are heard around the room.

"You didn't!"

"I'm not surprised."

"How dare you!"

All Might, after processing his words for a moment, stands up, interrupting the chaos, looking directly at Deku with a sad look on his face. "I'm so sorry Young Midoriya." Tears began to fall, dripping down his face. He clenches his fists before speaking again. "I've failed you." The room is silent, feeling the sadness of their teacher.

It seems that after everything that has seemed to happen in this time started to crash down on people. Some who were already crying, cried harder. Katsuki's eyes started to blur as well.

Don't be vulnerable in front of these bastards, cmon.

Deku just snorted. "Yeah, you did." He looked at All Might, giving him an annoyed look. "Can you imagine how I felt after you abandoned me?" He spreads out his arms, "After all of you abandoned me?"

"I saved you at your lowest points." His arms drop to his sides.

It's your power, isn't it?!

"I saved you on the brink of death." He spits out the words of his sentence.

 "I'll save you!"

"Don't you worry Iida, I'm gonna save you!"

"I couldn't just let you die!"

"I broke my body over and over and over again, worked the hardest out of any of you for that damned quirk," He clenched his fists as he yells, "JUST FOR IT TO BE TAKEN AWAY!" Tears are starting to form in his eyes as everyone just watches him silently.

“Just because you had a small kernel of doubt.” He takes his hands from his side to start wiping his tears, “God do you know how fucking idiotic that is." His hands moved to his hair to pull harshly, "If I knew my trust was that thin of a wire I would have left a long time ago." Sad laughter fills the room. "It's pathetic."

Katsuki was officially crying now, tears falling down his face. The Great King Explosion Murder was crying, but he couldn't bring himself to care. Seeing him like this? That was enough to break his heart.

“You all know that if one of you guys were accused, I would have fought tooth and nail for you.” Deku speaks quietly, any show of remorse or sadness erased from his face.

The worst part is… was that they knew it was true. Deku would have fought, he would have gone against everyone to help them if he could.

“He’s right…” Katsuki said, finally speaking up. Everyone’s head turned to stare at him.

“Bakugou, why are you agreeing with th-” Iida says, stiff and voice loud and raspy before he’s interrupted again.

“BECAUSE HE’S RIGHT DAMN IT!” Letting off a few small pop’s from his quirk, Deku looked unimpressed. “He wou-” He was crying harder now, being vulnerable in front of these idiots… “He would have… You all know he would fucking would have.” He let his blond hair cast his eyes, hoping to hide the wetness dripping down the cheeks. “Izuku…” Deku raised an eyebrow waiting for him to continue, looking rather bored of this whole situation. “I’m so sorry… I knew you weren’t the traitor, and I just let them-, I didn’t fight hard enough for you.” Katsuki itched the back of his head before lifting his head back up, staring at the person who had been there since the beginning.

Katsuki's eyes finally showed to the class, tears streaming down his face, eyes a tad bit red. “Some hero I am, huh?”

Katsuki didn't know what to expect out of Deku's reaction, but Deku’s lip just pressed into a thin line before his face turned into a snarl. “Yeah, some hero you are.” Kirishima walked over to Katsuki, Deku examined the class before frowning, “God, why are all of you crying?” Annoyance dripped into his tone, "I didn't call you hear to see you all cry."

"So then why are we here?" A monotone voice is raised above the crowd, one devoid of emotion. Deku grinned.

"Shinso... you don't seem as sad as the rest of the lot."

The purple-haired student shoves his way to the front, eyes devoid of wetness, looking rather annoyed. He shoves his hands into his pockets, "I'm just asking. Unless your only point was to traumatize us."

Katsuki couldn't see Deku well, mostly focusing on the rubs Kirishima was giving on his back. But he seemed to be thinking, before pressing his lips into a thin line. "You confuse me Shinso." Shinso flinches at that, "Not you yourself... more of my, feelings for you per-say." Deku rubs the back of his head, Shinso looks taken back. "Your quirk is powerful, almost too powerful... I presume growing up with that quirk was..." He meets his eyes, green and purple. "Difficult... was it not?" Shinso gulped.

"It was."

His lips quirked upward. "I thought so, I had the same experience." He brings his hand into his ear to pick at his ear-wax, "Being bullied, suicide baited, that's why I thought what you said at the sports festival was hilarious." He brings his pinky out of his ear, his glove slightly yellow. Katsuki squeezes his nose in disgust. He clasps his hands in front of him. "Honestly if the League hadn't found me, I probably would have committed suicide." Gasps are heard around the room. Ignored, he continues. "So that's why when I get out of here, you won't be punished." Deku leaned closer, green curls bobbing. "You'll be humbled." Aizawa stiffens.

"When you get out of here?" Shinso snorts. "Yeah, good luck with that, it's impossible."

Aizawa stands, putting his hand on his shoulder. "Don't provoke h-"

Deku just smiles as he watches them.

Katsuki stands up straighter. "You okay?" Kirishima asked him, turning his head to look at him. His red eyes were slightly watery, looking tired.

"Yeah, 'm fine." He says quietly.

"Time is ticking~" Deku starts to sing, Katsuki snaps his head to the glass. "Time is starting to..." Bringing his hand to the glass he smiled, a grin from ear to ear. "Run out." Finally palming the glass, the door slid open. “I'm sure we will see each other soon, Class A~” The guards were rushing them out of the room, but before leaving Katsuki took one last look at his old friend, old victim, an old rival. Expecting what Katsuki had seen his whole life, a smile even a creepy one he would take. Or a pained expression with tears in his eyes. No, what Katsuki saw was worse…

A cold and calculating stare.

One a predator would give to prey.

A Little Extra:

"You so much as touch that glass, they are leaving understand?" Rito Mushima, a guard at Tartarus prison, growls at the inmate. Having this guy here was a pain... Always destroying his cell, making those creepy as drawings, singing random-ass songs.

He's done with it.

"Wait so it's only if I touch the glass?" Izuku Midoriya palms the glass slowly as he's getting on his knees.

"Yes." Rito replies, adjusting the chairs for the teachers, it screeching against the floor.

"What if I... like, show them my dick?" Rito sputters, looking at the green-haired boy annoyed, he doesn't seem to notice. "Will they be taken away then?" The inmate breaths on the glass as he starts drawing on the fog.

"I suppose they will leave."

"What if I start, cursing them out?"

"I suppose they will leave too." Rito stands up straight, crossing his arms. "You really have some weird questions you know?"

The inmate pulls his hands away from the glass, holding them up in a non-threatening gesture. "I'm just asking, geez." He rolls his eyes. "So rude."

"Well you're annoying so..." He grumbles under his breath as he starts to the door, opening it and walking through.

"Wait what if I-" Rito closed the door behind him.

God he hates going in there.

Chapter Text

Shouta Aizawa sits in a plain room, seated on a cold chair as he waits for his coffee to brew in Tartarus prison. To say he was shaken up was pretty obvious. Honestly, all he can hope for now is for Tsukauchi to tell him that he lied about everything.

God damn it, you didn't ask him about specific murders.

He runs his hands down his face, a groan echoing in the room. Shouta needs a nap... or a drink. Staring into the boring gray walls, it feels like they are taunting him. He doesn’t know how long he sat there, drowning in his thoughts.

A knock comes from the door, Shouta stands up to walk over to open it. There stands Detective Tsukauchi in a large brown overcoat, with a blue tie in the center of his chest on his white button-down. He softly smiles at him, "Eraser... may I come in?"

Shouta takes a step back as he gestures to the room. "Please come in. Sit." He walks across the gray tiles to the coffee pot, standing in front of it facing away from the Detective. Hoping it would hide his shame. He hears footsteps behind him and the screeching of the chair, they stay in silence for a few moments.

"May I have some coffee?" Tsukauchi asks right as it clicks done. Fingers are tapped idly on the gray table.

"Hm... I was hoping to drink the whole pot myself, but I guess so." Shouta half-joked with the Detective.

Tsukauchi snorts, "Been there, done that." Shouta starts to pour the drinks into two cups he found. Grabbing a handful of different sweeteners and throwing them on the table as he slowly brings the white cups over and sits down. Tsukauchi reaches for a cup as he asks, "How are the kids?"

Shouta laughs for a moment, "How do you think they are?"

Tsukauchi just shrugs. "Probably feeling a tremendous amount of guilt." He takes a sip of his drink, his eyes flicking over to the hero. "And I bet you are too."

"Hmm..." He replies back, dumping a sweetener inside of the drink as he looks at the detective, "You drink straight black coffee?"

"Aizawa...."

'Yes..." His fingers clench the white cup in his hands, looking down at the clump of sugar on top of it. "Of course, I feel horrible." He shakes his head, "I came here, made the kid's come here, just to find out a little information." He chuckles airly, "And we found out way too much." He gestures to the door, "Because those kids are now talking about a secret that has been kept for two-hundred years, about an evil that could destroy us as we know it after finding out their old classmate is a goddamn murderer."

Thinking about it more and more, it just made him angrier. He swipes his hand to his cup, harder than he means to, it shaking violently threatening to spill as he stands up to go to the countertop to get the creamer, then stirring everything into his coffee.

Tsukauchi raises an eyebrow, unimpressed. "I've never seen you so emotional."

Shouta snorts as he whispers into the room, "When did I become so emotional?..."

"Probably ever since one of your students became a murderer."

Shouta flinches harshly as he stirs the coffee, finding a little calm in the way it spins. “Maybe… or maybe it was before that.” They stay in silence for a bit, just the sound of breathing and sipping their drinks… but a constant question is swimming in Shouta’s head. “Why didn’t you stop us?”

Tsukauchi coughs a little bit before replying, “Whatever do you mean?” Shouta walks away from the countertop, taking a seat in front of the detective.

Turning a sharp gaze towards Tsukauchi, he answers. “You're a cop,” He gestures to him, “And you knew what we were doing was illegal. So why didn’t you stop us?”

He seems a little taken back by the question, and takes a sip of his drink as he seems to think about it, staring into the distance. “Well, when you think about it. This is partially my fault.” Shouta raises an eyebrow. “It's kind of because of All Might, he’s been a friend for a long time and I trust him. But…” Tsukauchi turns his head to meet Shouta’s gaze, Tsukauchi eyes are a dark coffee brown but there’s something more…

“The heroes can’t take another hit, especially something as big as that. And we need heroes more than ever right now since the League is as active as ever as well.”

Shouta just stares at him for a moment, grabbing his drink and crossing his arms on the table, looking away. “How immoral.”

Tsukauchi just nods, taking a sip of his coffee, deep in thought. Another brief period of silence takes over, although it doesn't last long. Shouta licks his lips for a moment, setting his cup down. “Tsukauchi.” He hums in response, “Did… did he lie about anything?”

Tsukauchi nods his head, “He lied about being happy to see you guys.”

Shouta laughs slightly, “Figures. Anything else?” The detective nods his head once again.

“He lied about being okay and stuff like that… But the major stuff?” Shouta looks at him eagerly, “No.”

Shouta groans as he leans back in his seat, “Awesome.” He gruffs out, raspy and sarcastic.

Tsukauchi’s mouth quirks up ever so slightly, before looking at the watch on his wrist. “Ah, Eraser, you best get back to your class.” The detective puts his cup down, then stands up and heads towards the door. Before he can open it, a voice calls out.

“I have a question.” Tsukauchi’s head turns towards the hero, staring at him. Shouta barely lifts his head to meet his gaze. “Why did you keep Midoriya in Tartarus? Why not let him go?”

Tsukauchi sighs. “He said-”

7 minutes later… On The UA Bus

Katsuki’s mind is going through time and space at the moment, his brain can’t slow down. Overwhelmed with questions and emotions from just 20 minutes before.

Why did he look at Icyhot when he said flames? Why did he say flames like that? Were any of his emotions real? Was he really going to commit? What if he escaped? Can he escape? Will he be out for revenge? Will he-

“-ugou! Bakugou!” His left side violently shook, finally snapping himself out of his spiral, he was an inch away from blowing up. Turning to see who was calling him, realizing it was Earphones. Jiro looked scared for a moment before relaxing. “You scared us.”

Katsuki turns his head, to see everyone on the bus stare at him. The attention made him heat up slightly. “You were hyperventilating.” Ponytail said, her eyes filled with concern.

“I’m fine…” Katsuki growls, sitting up straighter, but then realizing everyone was continuing to stare at him. “I'm fine damn it! Mine your own business!” He yells, everyone flinches and looks away.

So damn nosy.

Out of the corner of his eye, he sees Jiro give him a soft look. “You don’t have to act tough man, we know this is hard on you, you can talk to us.” Earphones says, obviously trying to comfort him.

But thinking about it…. That only made him angrier.

Like how we talked to Deku?

He grunts in response, Jiro then gets up to go to Ponytail. Class A sits in silence after that, as they wait for Aizawa. Katsuki was perfectly content with the silence, giving each other more time to process what has happened. But someone started to get restless.

“Are we not going to talk about it?” A certain electrical blonde blurts out as everyone’s eyes snap to him.  Denki looks… frightened, his head is low and he’s shaking slightly. “‘Cause there is a huge elephant in the room.”

Sero looks at him from his left, his black hair shuffling slightly. He starts to put his hand on the blonde's shoulder. “Listen, man, I don’t think anyone wants to ta-”

Standing up abruptly, startling everyone, Denki just speaks, tone shaky and loud. “No! Because I want to talk about the fact that there might be a traitor right now. An actual one. The person who's responsible for all the attacks, and working for the villains. Why does no one want to talk about this!?”

"Denki... We're not even sure if that's right." Shoji responds to his outburst. "We don't know if it's a lie or not so let's wait for Aizawa."

"Oh yeah? Because Midoriya seemed damn sure about it!" Denki yells back, tears slightly falling. He's clenching his fists tightly, seeing Dunceface like this made uneasiness churn in his gut.

"Denki!" Mina calls out, the blonde turns his head slightly to meet her gaze. "Let's just wait for Aizawa. Calm down." Sero grabs his shoulders, pulling him down to sit. Bakugou huffs, some eyes look at him.

"Even if there was a damn traitor, they would be shaking in their fuckin shoes." He points out, "It wouldn't be hard to notice, then..." He lets off a couple of small explosions, his face twisted into a snarl. "I would murder them."

"Ah yes, we feel very safe Bakugou." Sato laughs slightly nervous.

"Very safe." Ojiro sarcastically replies as well. Chatter slowly makes its way among the bus, some discuss One For All, some discuss Deku, and Katsuki just wanted some damn quiet. It was a little bit before Denki speaks up again.

Denki just wipes his tears, "I'm sorry for my outburst. It's just I'm so scared it might be true... "

"And that feeling is the one that put Midoriya in prison. So let's act rationally here." Aizawa says as he enters the bus, a brown file in hand, a stressed look on his face. The bus quiets, looking at him eagerly. Eyeing Aizawa, he seems uptight, stiff. Guarded.

"So?" Denki asks hurrily.

"Has someone been in the swaying in the dark this whole time?" Tokoyami speaks up for the first time in a while, dark shadow laying on his lap.

(Looking at their faces, some of fear, some of worry, some of expectedness. If he told them, they would turn on each other. That would do more harm than good, plus, if the traitor is on this bus right now, best not to give them even more reason to run away.)

"No," Aizawa says, "There is no traitor." Everyone sighs in relief. Some high fives, some cheers. Everyone is relieved by the news. What Aizawa said through Katsuki into a loop.

If there isn't a traitor, then how did they plan the attacks? Why did Deku say it so damn sure? He didn't lie about anything but that?

"Anyways, let's get a few things straight. I'm sure All Might told you about One For All correct?" Stiff nods are seen around the room. "All right, and I expect there will be no spilling of this secret. Correct?" Everyone nods again, some casting a quick glance towards Mina, she notices and blushes a deeper pink. "And, I want you to take a couple of days of rest. I think we all need it. Understood?" Everyone once again nodded. Aizawa started to explain something, but Katsuki didn't care enough to listen.

Something wasn't adding up, but Katsuki's had enough of today. Deku wasn't getting out, there's no traitor (supposedly), and he is fucking tired and deserves some goddamn rest. He's getting a headache right now and doesn't need to have a big fucking freak out again. He leans on the window, trying to slowly slip into sweet slumber.

Four Days Later

Katsuki is in the common room, homework spread out on the floor as he talks to Kirishima. Everyone else is basiclly there was well, in the kitchen or just scattered. The common room isn't exactly his favorite place, something about this place makes him uneasy. Was it because of a certain green-haired fucker? No, absolutely not. Was it because of how the fucking extras were treating the situation? Yes.

Every photo of the nerd was gone, every trace of the nerd was gone, even his All Might bowl, (that was in the back of the cabinet by the way), was thrown out. They can't treat him as if he didn't exist. He did, as much as they didn't like it. And did they already give up on him already? They already decided he was a lost cause?

(He thought that a little deep down, but didn't like the feeling.)

Maybe to them, he doesn't exist anymore... but he can't forget about him that fast. Katsuki doesn't understand, maybe because of guilt, anger, sadness they are doing this but it was still their... all of their fault he's like this. A damn villain.

"Bakugou?" Kirishima asks, tapping him on the shoulder. Katsuki's eyes snap to him, "Sorry you were spacing out. I know you don't like being touched, sorry." The redhead gives a small smile before returning to what he was doing. Although, it was sad how much everyone has changed. People locked themselves in their rooms, had mood swings, or just shut down all together.

It was mostly just small chatter, shuffling, or the sound of the kitchen that filled the air. It was peaceful, way too peaceful.

"GUYS!" Hagakure bursts from the elevator, running into the room, startling everyone. As soon as she bursts in, everyone is on full alert.

"You okay?" Momo asks from the couch as she stands up.

"Turn on channel 7," Sato grabs the remote from the side table before she yells. "HURRY!" He fumbled with it, then hit the number 7 button. Everyone starts to gather around the TV, asking what's happening.

The back of the room is a nice greenscreen of an ocean, but a younger-looking lady with a white t-shirt and a blue pencil skirt, her hair is neatly tied into a bun as she looks at the camera for a moment before smiling.

"Hello, Japan citizens! This is Reni Suma from Chanel 7 news, Time News, where we bring you everything you need to know so you can be safe, around the clock." She does a little peace sign. Denki mumbles She's hot under his breath, which causes Sero to elbow him. "Now we have quite a story here today folks, about a certain villain that has escaped from a high-security prison. No one is quite sure who it is, but is speculation to be Izuku Midoriya."

A picture is shown of him, everyone tenses at her words, looking around at each other. "He was caught earlier on CCTV with a known villain, one from the crime organization the League Of Villains," a picture is shown of Mr. Compress. "If you don't know who Izuku Midoriya is, he is a 3rd UA student from UA high school. He made a big break," She snickers as a clip of Deku is shown from their first year fighting Todoroki with broken limbs. "At UAs sports festival when he was a first-year. He was pretty popular until suddenly, this year when UA was doing internships Deku, his hero name, was nowhere to be found. Except for a new student, who is yet to be identified."

Everyone was looking panicked.

"You guys..."

"You don't think it's him right?"

"No way."

"No one knows if he truly escaped or had just become the one he was supposed to defeat, except a video from a citizen inside a police station, who kept this video for laughs until realizing there might be more."

A clip is shown of a familiar green bush of hair, knocking things over and yelling curses as he screams he's killed people and demands to be taken to jail for his crimes.

"I'm calling Mr. Aizawa." Iida says, pulling out his phone with shaky hands. The line rings for a moment before he answers, but Katsuki is too entranced by the screen.

"That was the last we've seen of Deku, and we have yet to see him again until today. We will hope to get UA's thoughts and clarifications on this issue but until then... stay safe. Now-"

"He was in Tarturas!"

"How did he escape?!"

"Everyone calm down!"

Everyone was starting to panic slightly, the noise from the talking and the screeching rattled in his head, the words "Escaped" and "Deku" were bouncing around and all he can say is.

Oh fuck.

In A Certain Bar

"Fuck is it good to be out!" Izuku Midoriya hollered as he walks into the bar, Compress at his heel as they walk through the inky black portal, a bunch of cheers are heard around the bar. He wears a pair of nice black pants with a white button-down and a dark green tie loosely around his neck. Thanks to Compress, he was able to change before he got here. The bar is pretty lively, everyone is happy to see that their personal analyst is finally back.

"Kind of hurts to say this, but I missed you." Dabi says as he walks over and he ruffles his already messy hair, Midoriya groans as he swats it away, a smirk fighting his way to his face.

"Ooo that's high praise coming from Mr. Emo here." Spinner calls out as he walks over then wraps his arms around the fire-users shoulder. "How are you doing Midoriya?" He says to the green-haired teen as Dabi is trying to shrug him off.

"I'm good, you?" Midoriya says, finding the way Dabi being annoyed amusing.

"I'm doing alr-"

"I will burn you." Dabi growls, glaring at the lizard. Spinner just shrugs, flashes a grin, before walking off.

"Zuzu!" Toga yells out, "Im so glad your back! None of these people would let me have any of their blood!" She says with a pout, a knife is already withdrawn, running over barreling at him, almost running into Spinner. Midoriya just laughs out at his friend's antics as he dodges, unfazed by her.

"Yeah yeah, you can do that later. We need to get started." He says shoving Toga away slightly, she pouts even harder as she grabs onto his arm tightly.

Watch out for knives. He mentally notes.

"Hey everyone, you miss me?" He says louder, then starts to walk around the room, making his rounds as Toga hangs on his arm. Talking to the others, his nerves evaporated. You wouldn't think he would be so calm about this since he was just a hero a couple of months ago, but these people treat him like family. Like no one ever has.

Taking a good look at the bar, most of the main League of Villians were there. Dabi, Toga, Twice, Compress, Spinner, Kuroguri. But...

"Where's Shigiraki?" He asks, spinning his barstool to face the others. Most of their faces sour, especially Spinners.

"That asshole." Midoriya hears Toga whisper under her breath on the barstool next to him.

"You see Midoriya..." Compress says, stopping the conversation he was having with Dabi. "Before you arrived, there was a bit of a..." He pauses for a moment before he gestures to the others. "Argument."

"About?" Midoriya asks, trying to get more information.

"When we were about to come and get you," Kuroguri starts, he turns his stool back to look at him. He's wearing his regular suit, but this time a tie that's green. Midoriya has always found his appearance interesting. It wasn't scary like Dabi's, or crazy like Toga. It's mysterious, fascinating. He was polite too, Midoriya always wonders if that's just a quirk in power or if his old body was like that too. "And the others brought up an interesting suggestion. Why not destroy Tarturas, free the villains and then-"

"They would be in debt to us?" Midoriya finishes, he thinks for a moment. "That's a good plan because what Compress did was risky, I was worried." He says, turning his stool to look at Compress who stood there, arms crossed. He then spreads his arms.

"Oh, have so little faith in me? I am a performer after all, besides it was exciting." He walks over to the barstool on the right of him as he stands behind it, looking into the young man's eyes. Well, he thinks since he can't see his eyes. "I was very surprised. You played your role well, I was impressed." He says smoothly.

Midoriya gave a sly smile, putting his arms on the bar counter behind him. "Well I did learn from the best, also you are quite handsome under the mask."

Compress shakes his head slightly, "Flattery will get you nowhere." His tone gave away that he was smiling.

"So what's the deal? Why didn't Shigiraki do it?" He says as he continues to stare at Compress, the performer just rubbed the back of his head.

"Well... the rea-"

"It's a stupid reason!" Spinner yells out, obviously pissed. "God, who cares if he gets out? And fewer heros anyways! Sometimes that bastard doesn't make sense." Spinner says, Toga nodding along.

It took only a second for Midoriya to catch on, his mouth formed an O. "Ooohhh, Stain? He didn't do it because he didn't want Stain to get out?"

"Yeah, do you know how stupid that is? We're all villains here, so who cares he gets out!" Spinner is fuming, saying curses under his breath before Midoriya speaks again.

"He hates Stain you know?"

He looks at him, his brow arches. "I know."

"No, you don't. Or at least not to the extent you think." He turns his stool back around, putting his hand on his neck. "He almost killed me at the mall remember? In my first year? He was asking about Stain, on a rant about how much he hates him." Sighing, he continues. "Still it doesn't make sense why he didn't just destroy it."

Everyone was silent for a moment, Twice then speaks. "Yeah, that was stupid. He fucking hates the guy so why give him freedom?"

"You don't have to know." A voice comes from the doorway, Shigiraki standing there looking annoyed. He glances at Midoriya before rolling his eyes. "I see your back."

Midoriya just grins, "You know you missed me." Shigirakis eyes narrow.

"I missed your analysis, there's a difference."

Midoriya just shrugs, "Whatever you tell yourself." He takes a look at the back of Toga's head, then pulls his eyes down to her hand, a knife is clutched. He pulls his eyes up and examines him, Shigiraki is glaring at everyone as he walks to the closest stool. He starts to itch his neck.

Oh no, he's getting pissed. Make him seem like he is in the right... Ummm-

Midoriya has learned all of Shigiraki's ticks and tries not to set him off as the others do. Because he's scared? Maybe a bit... after all, he always takes count of the red blinking on that TV. But mostly... because bitchy Shigiraki is the worst and most annoying thing.

"Honestly, maybe keeping Stain there is better for my plan." The green-haired teen speaks, Spinner just rolls his eyes as Shigiraki smiles smugly.

"Speaking of that... Zuzu, what do we do next?" Toga says spinning around, her face has traces of anger.

"You did join us for the deal if you give us analysis and we help." Midoriya looks past Toga as he sees Shigiraki pulls his hand down from his neck, then he leans on the counter. "So we are waiting." Shigiraki says surprisingly calm, he isn't very patient but he knows he's right this time. He told them months ago and still hasn't done anything.

"I mean, you went to Tarturas just to find out who to go for first. Did you find out who you're going after?" Dabi speaks up leaning on the wall with a small smile, a little excitement in his voice.

"Yeah I did, and sorry it's not Shoto." Dabis's face contorted to a frown. "But I did find out who to go for first."

"Who is it? No one gives a fuck greenie!"

He hums, "Let's go for..." Midoriya then starts to grin, some start to shift because they know what that look means.

"Ochako Uraraka."
