Chapter Text

I had seen him before. He was always doing hero work but today I had finally decided to hunt him down and capture him and remove that stupid collar from his neck. I was sick of it. I mean clearly the other heroes thought it was part of the suit but after watching it electrocute him the other day when he had gotten into an argument with Endeavor well... It had to go. I still couldn't believe I was doing this. He was a hero and I was a villain. I shouldn't be helping America's number two hero who helped people worldwide instead of just staying in America. I should be killing him and yet here I was chasing him down.

I had been following Phantom for two hours now and so far he had been staying in the public eye which meant that I couldn't get him. It wasn't until he had iced up a nomu that he finally left for an alleyway and I chased him and burned the agent who was waiting alive while I jumped him. Phantom shrieked when I set his collar on fire and I felt it start constricting around his neck like a snake. I wasn't having it though and I went full heat. At this point Phantom was screaming so loud I wouldn't be surprised if all of Japan could hear him and I finally let go and the collar turned to ashes. For a moment there was silence and then Phantom changed from a hero into a normal looking boy in a t-shirt and blue jeans and promptly fainted and I hauled him over my shoulder before heading back to my apartment that I only used when either I hurt myself or needed a break from the idiots in my life. I had never used it to save a life.

I walked inside my crappy apartment and put him on my crappy green couch quite quickly before going and getting a change of clothes into a t shirt and a gray jacket with blue sweatpants and then I threw my uniform in the wash before walking back into the living room where I turned on my piece of shit box tv and watched the news. I have no idea how long I sat there but eventually I heard a groan so I turned my head and Phantom was looking at me with a world of confusion etched on his face.

"You're not one of the agents." He growled at me and I was shocked.

"One of the?! Phantom! They were abusing you!" I snapped and he recoiled so I took a deep breath to get it together before speaking much more calmly.

"Do you remember anything before the agents? Surely you had a family or something?" I pressured him softly.

"I.. I don't... I don't know.." Phantom groaned before sitting up and looking at the tv.

"Okay. Well. My name is Dabi. I'm going to be taking care of you for awhile okay?" I told him while heading to the kitchen to make some ramen noodles for us both.

"Okay. Dabi." Phantom mumbled before taking over the rest of my couch.

I sighed before finishing the ramen and walking back over to him where I gave him a cup and he stared at it.

"Do you not know how to eat?" I asked him as a sense of dread suddenly filled me.

"No. Normally they gave me what I needed through.. Needles?" He said as his face scrunched up and I felt for him before walking over and kneeling down.

"Watch me. Copy what I do." I told him while eating my ramen and then he took a bite and god damn have I never seen a cup of ramen vanish from my view so fast.

"Got any more?" He practically begged and I shook my head.

"No. I gotta go shopping to be honest. Want to come?" I asked him while keeping my voice gentle.

He frowned. "Shopping?"

"Yep. It means I have to go get stuff." I explained and he tilted his head.

"Will I get hurt?" He asked me.

"Wha!? No! Good lord." I said mortified and he finally nodded.

"Okay I'll go." He said and I sighed. This was going to be a shitshow.

Chapter Text

I was right. The moment I opened the door Danny flinched and turned into what I was assuming was his hero mode.

"Nope. Back to the t-shirt and jeans. I'm not fighting an army for you." I told him seriously.

"What! But i'm vulnerable like this!" He cried.

"Welcome to civillian life. We're all vulnerable." I said with a roll of my eyes.

"How are you supposed to make sure I don't get hurt then?" He frowned.

"I do what I did the first time we met to that agent which I hopefully won't have to do this time since you will be blending in." I told him

"Fine. I trust you Dabi." He grumbled before walking out the door.

The walk to the downtown grocery store that I used was quiet and tense since Phantom kept looking around like he was ready to be attacked at any moment. 

We were halfway there when I couldn't stand it anymore.

"Phantom." I sighed.

"Yes?" He asked me.

"You have to stop glaring at everyone like they are the devil in disguise. Let me worry about that. Okay?" I said with a attempt at a reassuring smile.

"I.. I know but.. I'm starting to remember all that they did to me and I don't want to go back. I'm scared." He admitted to me.

I nodded. "It's okay to be scared but you can't let them control you. You're free now. Act like it." I said while standing tall and walking into the store.

Phantom stared at me for a moment before standing alittle taller and walking in. I really did smile this time. Phantom wasn't supposed to be scared. He looked good like this. I thought to myself as he walked ahead of me.

I smiled before walking after him and we shopped for around fifteen minutes.

We were at the line when we ran into our first problem. The problem? A hero recognized me.

"Dabi." Aizawa commented.

I smiled at him cruelly and Phantom's rings started to appear and I smacked him and he looked at me in shock.

"Remember what we talked about?" I asked him with a quirked eyebrow.

"But!" Danny whined.

"But nothing. No transforming unless we are at home. I am not fighting a army for you." I explained once again and he pouted.

"Fighting an army? Where did you get this guy Dabi?" Aizawa asked looking a bit taken back.

"None of your business Aizawa." I growled.

"If you're abducting people it is my business. I am a hero." Aizawa pointed out.

Damn. He did have a point. I didn't want to deal with Aizawa right now though so I sighed in defeat.

"Fine. I rescued him from some organization that was doing human experimentation on him." I gritted out and Aizawa looked properly horrified.

"Human experimentation!" Aizawa choked and I nodded.

"He's staying in my apartment until I can find a way to help him destroy the organization that is hunting him down." I explained to the hero.

"Do you know what they are called? Or what they did to this boy?" Aizawa asked looking fierce.

"I don't know. All I know is that he has amnesia and they appeared to be controlling him through a collar that could electrocute him. I got the collar off but now he can't remember." I explained further.

"That's horrible. Do you know if he has a name?" Aizawa asked as I started gathering up my groceries to leave.

"I.. Susumu. His name is Susumu." I told Aizawa and Phantom stared at me like I was stupid so I grabbed his hand and we left. 

I knew Aizawa didn't believe the last part and that he was following me so I took a few detours which Phantom must of gotten tired of because suddenly we were both invisible. I silenced my breathing as I watched Aizawa come down the alleyway and look around with his quirk activated and leave.

We both waited for a moment before Phantom dropped the cloak and I patted his shoulder.

"Good going." I muttered and then we went home.

We got home around noon which was not my plan and Phantom paused in the doorway before turning to face me.

"My name isn't Susumu by the way. I.. I think.. I used to be called Danny." He said while biting his lip and I nodded.

"Danny." I said and he nodded and I walked inside and put the groceries up.

Danny watched me the whole time and I watched him before something occured to me.

"Danny. You ever used a bathroom?" I asked him awkwardly.

He nodded. "The facility had one why?"

I sighed in the ultimate relief.

"Because I ain't teaching a grown ass man how to piss in a toilet." I snorted and his face turned red.

"You don't have to teach me everything Dabi! I'm not a kid!" Danny shrieked.

"I had to teach you how to eat." I grinned.

He just huffed before going to a corner and going hero mode and curling up like a cat. Oh hell no.

"Nope. Couch." I ordered and he stared at me in surprise.

"Couch?" He questioned.

I pointed at it and he beamed before moving to it and it wasn't long until I heard a soft snoring sound.

I took a shower after that and read the news on my phone before going to bed.

I woke up to my phone literally blowing the fuck up. What the hell. I quickly checked the League Chat app that was legit made by AFO so that we, well Twice and Spinner would stop getting confused on special missions that then turned into meme town.

- League Chat -

Toga: I know right! I can't wait! This is going to be so much fun! I get to crash the special exams!
Spinner: :D
Compress: As long as you don't get caught.
Twice: Toga never gets caught!
Toga: Exactly! I'm like a ninja!
Compress: Mhmm.
Dabi: Guys. I'm trying to get some extra Z's stfu
Toga: OMFG IT'S DABI!
Twice: Did you actually kill Phantom!?
Doctor: If Phantom is dead I want his body. I wish to study his quirk.
Dabi: A I didn't kill Phantom B Nobody is getting his body and C if anyone shows up at my apartment they are getting roasted like a turkey in America on Thanksgiving.
Twice: I love you too Dabi. Seeyou after Toga gets back from her mission ^^
Toga: :D Seeyou in a few Dabi! Also gtg finals are starting.

I logged off the league messenger after that and I almost broke my phone I slammed it so hard and Phantom immediately appeared looking nervous and scared.

"Dabi?" He questioned.

"I'm fine it's just I have friends who are going to be coming over soon." I said with the ultimate sigh of annoyance since I did not want to deal with Phantom, Toga and Twice all at the same time.

"Friends?" he said and it was the first time I saw his eyes even faintly light up.

"Yeah friends. Did you have friends?" I asked him curiously.

"I.. I think so.. I can't remember their names but I remember their faces." He said while tilting his head like a puppy. It was kind of cute.

Which was when my phone pinged again and I picked it up to see that it was Sensei. Shit.

- Sensei -

Sensei: If you have Phantom. Keep him. I want him on our side.
Dabi: Understood.

I got out of the chat after that and Phantom was literally breathing over my shoulder.

"You know I'm not going to become a villain. Right?" Phantom asked me with a fierce look in his eyes.

"Why not?" I said with a raised eyebrow at him.

"Danny Phantom is a hero. I fight to protect the people." He stated fiercely before floating a circle around me and I groaned.

"Danny. Look. I'm not going to force you to do a damn thing but you can't go out there as Phantom right now. You can't be a hero when you have a bunch of psycho's who want you for god knows what kind of experiments." I huffed and then I saw Danny's eyes shine like he was remembering something and I waited for his revelation.

"I.. They want me because I'm not entirely human." Danny muttered almost to low for me to hear but I heard him.

"So you're half animal or nomu?" I stated more than asked.

"No. I'm half ghost. They wanted to make more of my kind so that they could take over the world and I never told them my secret. That's why they tortured me. They wanted answers that I refused to give." Danny both answered and explained while his whole body trembled.

I nodded and decided to drop the subject since it was clearly upsetting Danny and I didn't want him to be crying in my bedroom when Toga and Twice got here.

"Okay. I'll make sure that they don't do that then. For now though. What do you say to some rice?" I said before walking out of my room and Danny followed me looking relieved.

We were in the middle of eating when I heard a knock on the door and I sighed before going and opening the door and Toga practically shoved me out of the way and Twice followed right behind her while Danny hissed from where he was sitting and sent them the angry eyes.

"Phantom calm down. My friends are brainless morons who have no code of decency." I snorted.

"Clearly." Danny grunted while looking huffy.

"Awe! I love him! Are we keeping him!?" Toga squealed.

"No." I answered.

"What!? Why not!" Toga shouted and Twice blinked in surprise.

"Because. I'm not a villain." Danny answered for me as he stood up to his full height which for the record wasn't that tall. 

"Awe! He's short!" Twice suddenly laughed and man did Phantom suddenly puff up.

"I'M NOT SHORT!" he shouted before lunging for Twice who dodged which sent him careening into the door as I closed it which landed him in the walkway outside my apartment door.

"Danny! Get back in here!" I hissed and he immediately rushed back in but not before bonking Twice on the head.

"I like him. He has spunk." Toga smiled.

"I don't! He hit me in the head!" Twice complained.

"Yeah and you deserved it." I told Twice and Danny nodded.

"Oh come on! All I did was state the obvious!" Twice frowned.

"Yeah well. You were being rude." I stated before going to make rice for our guests.

"So. What's actually going on with Phantom." Toga questioned as she walked into the kitchen.

I didn't even dare to look over. "Nothing. Just keeping him until his captors give up the chase."

"Mhmm. Dabi. You don't just do things for people. I know how you are. What are you getting out of it? Well other than the obvious." Toga smirked.

I growled dangerously and Toga's eyes widened and then she smiled like a fucking wolf and walked away. She knew she had me. Fuck. 

I walked back into the living room and shot her a glare before giving her and Twice both a bowl of rice and sitting down beside Danny.

Danny looked at me and smiled slightly before turning back to Twice with a glare. 

Twice just smiled mischievously and I rolled my eyes at them both.

"So. Phantom. Why do you want to be a hero and not a villain?" Toga asked while taking out a knife and playing with it.

"Because I'm a protector. I protect those who can't defend themselves." Danny told her easily.

"So you're not in it for the money? Why not become a vigilante then." Toga added.

"I might do that and no I've never been paid for my work." Danny admitted.

"Interesting. Okay then. Twice we should get going. It was nice meeting you Phantom." And with that she was gone. Good riddance. Which was when my phone pinged AGAIN and I groaned hoping and praying it wasn't sensei again and checked it.

- Toga -

Toga: P.s. if you don't make a move. I will. Phantom is fucking hot.
Dabi: Touch him and I will burn you.
Toga: ^^
Dabi: -_- I'm being serious.
Toga: I know.

I growled before turning off my phone and looking over to Phantom who was currently watching some kind of kids show on the TV. I smiled and then I went to go get my uniform since it was due time that I got back to mugging people since the grocery trip had done a number on my expenses.

"Phantom. I'm going to go work. I'll be back in an hour. Stay safe." I ordered before leaving out the door. It felt wrong to just leave him but I didn't need him getting in the way when I was trying to get money and so I left.

Chapter Text

I had just finished my third and final mugging of the day when I spotted the hero. He was watching me from across the street and I growled before making a run for it and he followed me from a distance.

"Shit!" I snapped to myself before rushing down an alleyway and Aizawa easily kept up with me.

"Fine! You win Eraserhead. What do you want!" I shouted before pausing.

"I want to know if you figured anything else out about Susumu and to make sure the boy is safe." Eraserhead told me before jumping down from his perch on the building that he was following me from.

"None of your business." I huffed.

"I could always just arrest you right now Dabi." Eraserhead warned.

I frowned since I knew he could and I finally gave in.

"Fine. How did you find me?" I asked him.

"Honestly. I kind of found you by surprise. I was trying a new route and here you are." Aizawa smiled.

I frowned. I had to be the most unluckiest fucker on the planet. 

"Susumu is fine." I gritted out.

"May I see him then?" Aizawa questioned.

"No. I left him at my apartment. Which I need to return too without you following me." I growled.

"You know just aswell as I do that as both a teacher and a hero I can't do that." Aizawa sighed.

"And you know that as a villain I have no obligation to listen to you." I said while still growling.

Aizawa nodded before looking around and sighing.

"Look. Dabi. Since you kept Susumu at your apartment. I will let you in on something." Aizawa said while looking tense and I blinked before nodding at him to countinue on.

"We recently found out that a organization called the GIW that operates solely in America but has heroes all around the world is experimenting on humans with an unknown substance. I can't tell you the credential facts but what I can tell you is that we believe ghost are real now and that Susumu might have something to do with it. Issue is. Is that the GIW went into hiding after we cracked down on their first facility and well. I need information Dabi." Aizawa told me. 

I sighed. "Susumu told me that. They want to take over the world and make a bunch of ghost human hybrids." I answered.

Aizawa looked mortified. "Hybrids! Like nomu! God!" 

I nodded even though Danny was nothing like a nomu. It was better that Aizawa see his condition as dangerous so that he would do something.

"Wait. Is Susumu one of these hybrids?" Aizawa suddenly asked.

Knowing that he would see straight through my lies I decided to be truthful. I mean he had given me information about the organization that hurt Danny.

"Yes. He has two forms. I won't tell you his other forms name but I will tell you that he is a hero at heart." I didn't know why I added the last part but there was no taking it back now.

Aizawa eyes sparked. "Hero? He doesn't want to become a villain?" 

I shook my head and Aizawa seemed to be deep in thought before speaking again 

"If he doesn't want to become a villain and you are keeping him in you're apartment instead of the hideout. Why are you keeping him? I'm sure I could talk Nezu into taking him in on campus if he is a hybrid like you say." Aizawa told me.

"Because. Nobody but the league knows where my apartment is. Unlike the hideout and I know that nobody would dare try to take my shit from my apartment even if it is a person. I'd burn the whole league to the fucking ground. Not to mention apparently sensei wants him alive." I added as if that helped.

Aizawa frowned clearly displeased by my answer but to be honest I didn't care anymore and so I started walking off. Aizawa followed me of course and I sighed before turning around.

"You're really adamant about this aren't you?" I questioned the hero.

"You said he was a hero at heart. Don't you think he deserves that chance?" Aizawa questioned me softly.

"He said he would become a vigilante. He doesn't want payment." I growled before walking faster.

Aizawa easily kept up with me though and sighed.

And then we were at my door. Shit. 

Me and him both stared at eachother for a moment and then I lit up my flames and before I knew it I was pinned against my own door. Fuck my life.

Danny immediately appeared behind Aizawa with a loud hiss and Aizawa used his quirk on him aswell which did not work and Danny just lunged at him from the air fangs bared.

Aizawa dodged him easily by knocking me out and focusing on him.

I woke up a few minutes later to Aizawa pinned to the ground looking unsurprised and determined.

"Kid. You don't want to do this. UA is safer." Aizawa tried to reason.

"I trust Dabi not you. I only go if he goes." Danny explained and I blinked before standing up. 

"I can't do that. Dabi is a villain." Aizawa frowned.

"Then I stay here." Danny spat.

Finally Aizawa looked at me and I would almost say he was pleading. I looked in between them both for a moment and then I remembered what Danny said about being a hero for the people and the GIW and god damnit. 

"Aizawa. Look. What if I come with you to UA? Show Danny and me around and I promise not to tell the league a damn thing and then let Danny decide?"

Aizawa was quiet for a moment and then he sighed. 

"I can't believe I'm doing this." Aizawa groaned.

I snorted. "Trust me. I can't either." 

Aizawa was quiet for another minute before saying "Tomorrow. It's the weekend. Be at the gates by 7am" and with that he elbowed Danny off of him and he was gone and all I could think was 'What the hell have I gotten myself into.' 

Danny must of thought the same thing because he frowned. "You don't have to go." 

I shook my head. "No. I'm coming. I.. It's my duty to take care of you."

Danny smiled and then he hugged me. "Thankyou Dabi."

I smiled but I didn't hug him back and he backed away from me and walked inside. I sighed before heading to my room. I might aswell go to bed early. I had a long day tomorrow afterall.

Chapter Text

I woke up around 6am and I was actually in a good mood. My phone was silent and I was comfortable. Which was very rare. It was only then that I realized I could hear Danny snoring. I looked over my bed and realized he was laying on the floor right beside it. What. the. Fuck?

"Danny. What are you doing?" I yawned.

"What if it's a trap?" Danny mumbled.

I frowned as it suddenly occurred to me that it could be a trap. A very elaborate trap. But even so. What if it wasn't? Danny would be safer at UA not even I could deny that and he would be able to attain his dream of becoming a hero if he got to go to UA. Not to mention he would have a promise of a fresh daily meal and water that wasn't my apartments shitty tap. Therefore it would be worth it and if worst came to worst I could always just burn UA to the ground.

"It's worth the risk." I finally said.

"How do you know?" Danny growled.

"Because. It's safer there and they have actual food and real water. Not to mention if it is a trap then I can always just burn UA to the ground and we can come back here and never trust another soul again." I answered him matter of factly.

"But.. I don't want to lose you Dabi." Danny sniffled.

Which broke my heart and I found myself reaching down and petting his hair which was like silk. 

"We'll figure something out okay? You can always just turn invisible and sneak out sometimes and we can go to some bookstore or cafe or something and chill." I said trying to cheer him up.

"Okay." he said and then I went to go make breakfast before we had to leave.

We ate in silence like usual except now Danny was acting like I was taking him to someones funeral instead of a academy for heroes.

"Danny. It won't be THAT bad. Good lord." I huffed before doing the dishes.

"I know. I just. I have a feeling like something is going to change." Danny said nervously.

"Good change or bad change?" I asked him.

"I don't know. That's why I'm worried." Danny admitted.

"Well then let's hope it's a good one okay?" I smiled before leaving with Danny following me.

We got there right as the clock turned seven and Aizawa was sitting there with.. Nezu? Shit. It was a trap! I knew it! I snarled before starting to form a flame and Danny's eyes flashed green behind me.

Nezu immediately put his paws up in the sign for surrender and I eased slightly.

"Hey! I'm merely here to watch! No reason to get aggressive!" Nezu said with a slight warning in his tone.

I stared into his black beady eyes for a moment before relaxing and Danny did the same before we both released a sigh of relief.

"So! Are you both here for a chance at staying hidden in UA or is it just Susumu?" Nezu questioned.

"My name is actually Danny." Danny told Nezu awkwardly.

"Ah! Then I am principal Nezu. Welcome to UA!" Nezu beamed.

Danny smiled for a moment and then I just had to cut in out of disbelief.

"You would let me stay at UA despite me being a villain?" I asked.

"Everyone can change given the chance." Nezu answered me simply.

I just blinked at him and Aizawa sighed.

"Come on. Nezu. Let's just finish the tour." Aizawa told the mouse hybrid before walking into the academy's doors.

I followed Aizawa but paused when I realized that Nezu and Danny weren't following us and so I turned around and they seemed to be whispering to eachother. I sighed before gesturing to Danny to get his ass over here and he looked up and rolled his eyes before walking after me.

"I like Nezu." Danny smiled when he got close.

I nodded before walking inside of the doors and relaxing when I saw no one. Good. 

Danny looked around for a moment before also relaxing and then Nezu walked ahead of us and gestured for us to follow him and so we did.

He started by showing us the homerooms and then he moved onto the normal classrooms and it was all very boring until we got to the lunchroom.

"Now. Dabi. Before you try to burn the place down. I invited Lunch Rush to serve us after the basic tour. If that's okay with you of course." Nezu smiled.

I nodded immediately. "As long as he doesn't try to beat me and Danny with a pan it's fine."

Aizawa and Nezu both chuckled and Danny grinned and then we went in and got katsudon. It was actually really good.

"So. Danny. I know you don't remember much of your life but do you remember what made you want to become a hero?" Nezu asked him.

Danny looked deep in thought for a moment before nodding.

"I saw someone being attacked by a ghost and I couldn't just sit there and do nothing while they died. I had to do something and so I became my town's hero. I.. I don't think people had quirks back then.. I think I was special." Danny told Nezu while scratching his neck.

Nezu simply nodded before Aizawa spoke.

"How old are you Danny?" Aizawa asked in shock.

"I don't know. I lost track of time when I was with the guys in white. I mean I definitely remember more now than I did before but I'm still kind of lost." Danny admitted.

"It's okay to be lost. That's why your here." Nezu said while smiling at Danny.

"Thankyou Nezu. You know. I was dreading coming here earlier because I thought it was a trap but you know what? I don't think it will be that bad." Danny said softly while drinking his tea.

"Of course it won't! This is UA! This is your chance for growth and making new friends!" Nezu said cheerfully.

I sighed before looking at Danny to see if he was catching onto something that I was and he definitely had a hidden suspicion in his eyes. Which Aizawa caught onto because he spoke up.

"The catch is that you have to stay on UA grounds at all times. Due to the GIW being after you like a hawk chasing a mouse. " Aizawa explained.

"I can do that. Dabi never really let me outside either." Danny said.

"So. You want to join UA then?" Nezu said with a smile.

"Only if Dabi does or if he can visit me." Danny said truthfully.

Nezu and Aizawa both looked at eachother and then Nezu looked at me.

"Dabi. How loyal are you to the league? Be honest." Nezu told me seriously with a dangerous look in his eyes.

I was quiet for a moment and then I said honestly "I have friends in the league. Toga and Twice but otherwise? Honestly? I couldn't give two shits about those psycho's." 

Nezu nodded before tapping Aizawa and they both left me and Danny to go chat with Lunch Rush.

"So what do you think?" I asked Danny once they were out of earshot. Well Aizawa was out of earshot. I'm not sure about Nezu.

"It's too good to be true. Something is up." Danny growled.

I nodded in agreement before Nezu walked back over with Aizawa.

"Alright. Dabi. Can I have your number? So you can visit with Danny on the weekends?" Nezu asked me and I stood up.

"Alright. Mouse thing. Me and Danny know that something is up. You might aswell spill. I am not afraid to burn UA." I snapped.

"It's Nezu and UA has a superior security system that could trap you easily and I don't think you are stupid Dabi. You know you can't fight UA." Nezu said with a grin and I snarled and then Danny grabbed my hand and defied physics? I don't know all I knew is that we were flying and we were blue and see through.

"Tell us what's going on or we leave and you never see us again." Danny hissed.

Nezu sighed before sitting down and patting the table. Danny stared at him for a moment and then dropped us to the ground. through it alittle bit and then he floated us back up and turned us to normal. Danny's powers were bullshit.

"Danny. What I'm about to tell you does not leave UA okay?" Nezu said in the most serious tone I've heard from him and Danny nodded.

"Same goes for you Dabi." I nodded aswell 

"We might have made a peace treaty with a ghost that we freed from the facility that we ambushed. His name is Fine and the unknown substance we were talking about it's called ectoplasm. It's a core feature to ghosts and we are trying to keep it under wraps. If people knew that ghosts existed it could be disastrous. Which is also why we recruited Fine into UA. He's safest here. The other three ghost we freed went back to where they came from but he apparently has a friend he is desperate to save called Phantom. You wouldn't happen to know anything about him would you? You said that you started your hero career by fighting ghosts. Have you ever met this one?" Nezu questioned.

Me and Danny both looked at eachother and then Danny shook his head causing Nezu and Aizawa to sigh and look at eachother.

"Are you rescinding your offer to let us join UA then?" Danny questioned.

Nezu looked horrified. "Of course not! We are here to help Danny."

"Well then I accept your offer on one condition." Danny told Nezu and Nezu nodded.

"I get to leave and go back to Dabi if anything goes wrong or if I feel unsafe here." Danny said with a stubborn gaze.

Nezu nodded. "I can live with that. Alright. Dabi. May I have your number?"

I nodded and wrote it down on a napkin before handing it to the hybrid mouse.

Nezu stared at it for a moment before giving me his number and Aizawa's and then we all nodded at eachother in a silent agreement.

"We'll see you both on monday. I hope you are okay with doing some tests before joining us for real Danny." Nezu snickered.

Danny's eyes widened. "Tests?"

"English, Math, Science, History, Skill, A modified version of the entrance exam that I'll have Fine make for ghosts." Aizawa explained with a smile as Danny's face slowly grew more and more horrified.

"MATH! HISTORY! SCIENCE! NOOOOOO!!!!!" Danny wailed before flopping on the floor like a fish out of water. 

I laughed for the first time in years at that display before picking his ass up and hauling him over my shoulder and then we left.

I woke up to my phone beeping except this time I wasn't surprised. The league always hung out on Sunday. I lazily got on the chat except it wasn't the chat. So I moved onto my DMs

- Toga -

Toga: Hi! Just so you don't like. Freak out. I stole Danny. Lol.
Dabi: Toga. Where the fuck did you take Danny?
Toga: ;) I told you if you didn't make a move that I would.
Dabi: Prepare to be hunted down you cold-blooded happy bitch.
Toga: LMFAO Okay.

I turned off my phone after that and screamed before running into the living room where Danny wasn't and then I ran outside.

I was going to murder Toga. I mean really murder Toga. It wasn't going to be pretty. I swear once I got my hands on her!

Which was when I had a idea. If anyone knew where Toga was it would be Twice. Unless he was in on it. But even so that meant all I had to do was look for Twice. Easy. I smirked before starting my hunt again.

I finally found Twice at the front of a.. Clothing store? I narrowed my eyes and then Twice got into a fighting position before suddenly easing up as Toga came out with Danny.

"Hi Dabi. Like what you see?" Toga snickered.

I blinked and then I blinked again. Danny was wearing a form fitting T shirt with those tight jeans and.. I was drooling... Fuck..

"Toga.. I think you short circuited him.." Danny said while shuffling his feet.

"Nah. He'll be fine. Just give him a minute and then yall can go out to eat." Toga said while still smirking.

"Toga. I fucking hate you." I groaned before straightening up and wiping my mouth. When the hell had I even leaned slightly over? 

"Hate me? Oh come on! I was only doing you a favor. Anyways have fun on your date you two!" She sing songed and then her and Twice were running for their lives. 

I ignored them in favor of sighing and walking over to Danny.

"I'm sorry about them. Want to go home and change back into your normal clothes?" I asked him even as my heart screamed at me to take my chance.

Danny stared at me for a moment and then he blushed and shuffled his feet. "A-actually.. Wanna hang out for a bit?"

I was stoked. Was he asking me out?

"Are you asking me out?" I grinned.

"Don't ruin it." Danny teased before bumping his head against my shoulder and looking up at me with those pretty blue eyes.

I smiled softly before grabbing his hand and we walked around. We didn't say anything but the closeness of our bodies and Danny's hand in mine was enough to speak worlds of words.

Eventually I did do what Toga told me to do and I walked us into a cafe where I got a latte and a omelet and Danny got a cappuccino and steamed rice with a side of meat.

It was actually very nice. 

"So. Danny if you don't mind me asking. How did Toga get you to leave without me?" I asked curiously.

"She told me that she had gotten your permission to bring me shopping but seeing how angry you were when you first showed up I'm guessing she lied?" Danny said more than asked and I nodded.

"I'm still going to cremate her later." I grumbled before finishing my omelet.

"Awwwe. But I like Toga! She's fun and Twice isn't that bad once you get past his odd personality quirks." Danny whined.

I crossed my arms pettily and Danny smiled.

"Jealous." He teased me.

"Am not!" I said childishly and with a mild blush.

"Mhmm." Danny hummed before finishing his rice.

I pouted for a moment before paying the bill and then we started heading home. I held Danny's hand this time as we walked and he smiled at me and I smiled back as we walked together like two love-struck fools. It was nice to just let go and be myself without a barrier. 

I opened the door when we got home and then I sat on the couch and Danny to my surprise came over and cuddled himself up against me so I put an arm around him and we watched the news which eventually turned into cartoons and then I might have fell asleep.

It was a good day. All in all. 

Chapter Text

I woke up and somehow somewhere in the night Danny had curled up in my lap like a cat. I smiled before stroking his hair and then I stretched before my phone rang. I was genuinely surprised and I blinked because who the hell would be calling me at 7am on a monday? And then I remembered what me and Danny had to do today and I answered.

- Mouse Thing -

"Hello?" I grumbled.

"Goodmorning to you too Dabi! Now just so you know. Today is a school day so.."

I immediately cut him off. "I'm coming. I'm Danny's guardian as of right now therefore I will be there for these tests." 

"Meet at the gate then. I'll have Fine sneak you into my office. We can both watch from there." Nezu complied.

"Got it. Seeyou soon Nezu." I told the mouse before hanging up.

Danny chose that moment to stretch and look up at me.

"Was that Nezu?" Danny asked me and I nodded.

"Yeah. We need to get going." I told him before getting up and stretching.

Danny nodded and then we both went to get properly dressed. Danny in the bathroom and me in my room and after that we headed out.

It was a long walk from my apartment to UA but I didn't mind it. It was therapeutic to me. Just walking. Danny clearly didn't agree though since he kept biting his lip and looking around and so I put an arm around his shoulders as we made the last turn and then I saw a huge green dude with ripped green cargo pants a yellow shirt  and a backpack with a red beret and red eyes.

He was tapping his foot and then he saw us and he beamed.

"Hi! Fine at your.." he said as he cut off and then he squealed and rushed over causing me and Danny to both take a step back cautiously and the big guy paused.

"Danny? You do remember me right?" The big guy asked tentatively.

Danny was quiet for a moment and then he gasped. "Tucker!"

Tucker nodded. "My name is Fine now. Also. No. I'm not giving you any answers. Good luck on your test buddy. 2+2 equals four!"

Danny smacked him and Fine grabbed me and before I knew it I was in Nezu's secret office.

"Nezu!" I snapped.

"Watch the Camera's if you want to know what's going on Dabi." Nezu smiled and I hated him. Sneaky bastard.

Fine laughed once behind me before vanishing and I snorted before turning around and watching the camera footage.

- Cam Footage -

Danny blinked and froze up as Aizawa approached him.

"Don't worry your friend's fine. He's with Nezu." Aizawa explained.

Danny frowned but nodded. "Okay. So what test is first?" 

Aizawa grinned. "Your favorite. The writing portion."

Danny almost cried and then they went into one of the classrooms and the cam switched to a different camera so that I could see that the whole classroom was empty of everyone but Danny. Which relieved the majority of my tension and so I watched for approximately around three or four hours as Danny struggled through everything. It was kind of sad. I knew Danny wasn't stupid but when watching him test? Well... he wasn't a good test taker that was for sure.

- Cam Footage 2 -

Danny had finally fought his way through the test and Aizawa nodded at him before taking him to the Ground Beta. 

"Alright. There is only one rule. No leaving ground beta until told to do so. You have thirty minutes to defeat every robot here. Go." 

I watched as Danny raced into the zone and immediately took to the air where a missile charged him and he dodged causing it to blow up a building.

Me and Nezu both looked at eachother before focusing back on the screen where Danny was now engaging the massive robot that had fired the missile and was battling it to the best of his ability.

I sighed. "He's going to fail. Why didn't Aizawa tell him about the point system?" 

"Because. We are testing his wit and his strength. He's already done hero work so I'm making it harder on him." Nezu explained and I frowned

Which was the exact moment that Danny got sick of the robots bullshit and released a ghostly wail that knocked it over.

I smirked and then Danny moved onto hunting for smaller bots.

He racked up ten points during that time and then he stopped. Reason? He finally realized that there was some dummies stuck in the rubble.

I watched as he started helping them and taking them to a safer area and by the time he was done he had racked up just enough to pass the practical exam. I knew this because I could see it on Nezu's screen.

I sighed in relief before kicking back on Nezu's couch and then Aizawa went and got Danny and they headed back to the gates.

"So. What happens now Nezu?" I questioned the mouse thing.

"You and Danny go home for now. I will send the test results in a week and while I'm doing that I'll have Aizawa get Danny's dorm room ready and he can take Mineta's old spot in Aizawa's homeroom since we kicked him out yesterday." Nezu explained.

I nodded before something occured to me.

"What about Danny's age?" I asked Nezu.

"Things can be looked over." Nezu smiled and I sighed.

"This is going to be the wackiest thing I've ever done isn't it?" I groaned.

"Perhaps." Nezu smirked.

"Fine. Nezu. I want into UA aswell. Not as a student though. Perhaps I could be the janitor or some shit?" I found myself asking the principal.

Nezu beamed. "You'll leave the league to become a janitor?"

"As long as you provide me housing and the ability to see Danny whenever I please then yes." I answered.

Which was when a look of understanding crossed Nezu's face and he smiled gently.

"You two are a package deal aren't you?" Nezu questioned softly and I nodded. I wasn't ashamed. 

Nezu sighed after that and adjusted some papers. "Look. I can't promise you anything but I will see what I can do. Okay?" 

I nodded. "I'll keep the league busy then and out of your way the best I can." 

And with that Nezu left and I was left alone for a minute until Danny and Fine appeared laughing and talking.

"He's still alive!?" Danny shouted.

"Apparently." Fine grumbled.

"Wow. I still can't believe that the GIW hasn't caught him yet." Danny snorted before grabbing my hand.

"Eh you know how crafty Vlad is." Fine huffed. 

"Alright well. Seeyou around Fine. Me and Dabi should probably be heading home." Danny told his friend and Fine nodded and then we were off.

The first thing that happened when we got home was Danny started hopping around like a over excited bunny.

"That was so much fun! Dabi ground beta was like. Filled with cool enemies and there was this mega bot and then I had to save people! I had a blast!" Danny gushed.

I laughed before grinning "Nezu did have cameras you know." 

Danny looked mortified. "You didn't see me bomb the writing part did you?"

I couldn't help it. I smirked and he smacked me.

"Dabi!" Danny whined

I laughed before ruffling his hair and then I went to my room to plan out the rest of the week and how the actual fuck I was going to keep the league busy and off of the heroes tails.

I woke up to my phone blowing up and I groaned loudly before checking the chat and what the fuck? 

- League Chat -

Toga: Lmfao the Shie Hassaki might be about to get rekt. 
Twice: For real. Heroes be rockin this joint.
Dabi: Holy shit it's 4am. I'm actually trying to sleep. Tell the heroes to bring their drama somewhere else =_=
Toga: Aweee is Dabi grumpy?
Dabi: Yes.
Shigaraki: Omw to the Shie hideout. Holyshit can't believe they are about to get rekt. This is like my dream come true. Can't wait to be number one. ^^
Toga: Brb Overhaul just demanded that I help Mimic. Smfh 
Twice: Same. Bummer.
Shigaraki: -_-
Dabi: Ugh. Fine I'm getting the fuck up. I hate you all. 

I closed chat after that and then I went to the living room like a zombie and looked over at Danny. I sighed before making a note.

- Dabi

Danny I have gone out. I have an important job to do pertaining to the Shie Hassaki. I will be back soon.

I then groaned before leaving for the night/day or whatever the fuck 4am was.

I was halfway to the Shie Hassaki hideout when my phone started blowing up again and I groaned before checking it.

- Tomura  -

Shigaraki: Hey! Dumbass! They got them. I saw you walking from the prison van lol. Cmere. 

I looked behind me just in time to see the Van drive by and I chased after it at max speed. God damn I hated Shigaraki I leapt up just in time to land on the truck behind the Van and I opened the back doors and hopped in.

"You know. The simple rule of shogi is to take the opponents king." Shigaraki smiled 

"It will probably be more difficult to do than say though." I admitted and Shigaraki shot me a glare while Iguichi took the wheel and the truck started swerving like a strip dancer on a pole. Holy shit. 

"Iguichi stop swerving the damn car!" I hollered.

"Sorry. I only know how to drive from games." Iguichi replied.

"Well fuck. Where the hell is someone responsible when you need them!" I snapped before setting the police car behind us on fire.

Which some sand asshole stopped of course. Damn.

After that I told Iguichi to decelerate since he couldn't drive for shit anyways and Shigaraki attacked the sand which was retarded since his quirk doesn't work on sand and oh my god was I the only person in this car with a BRAIN! Wait no. Mr. Compress then used his quirk to release a boulder that knocked over the police car just when I was losing hope in humanity. Which is also when Tomura suddenly flipped the transport vehicle. Finally.

I watched as the sand hero saved the driver and I sighed before smiling at him and taunting "Ya know. With all these villains around you should be more concerned about yourself." 

He got mad.

"Dabi! Aren't you the one who committed mass murder a month ago!" I nodded since it was true although I was surprised that anyone knew about that. I was kind of depressed back then and I had issues.

Luckily though mr compress caught snatch afterwards and we went and tortured Overhaul after by taking both his arms. Well Compress and Shigaraki took his arms and I watched.

And it made me realize something. Villains are disgusting and honestly maybe Nezu was right. Maybe with the right inspiration anyone can change. 

I went home that day and went straight to my room. Danny didn't say anything but I could tell by how he looked at me that he knew what I did. 

I wasn't looking for pity though so I kept on walking until I got to my bed where I sat down and rethought some of my life choices.

Maybe it was time for a change.

I went to bed alone that night but it was fine. I had a plan for the morning. Shigaraki and the league would hate me for it but it was time. Time for me to quit being a pawn and become my own person. A vigilante.

Chapter Text

I woke up and got dressed in a t shirt and jeans before walking into the living room with a determined look on my face.

"Please don't tell me that you got a job again." Danny whined.

"Danny. I'm quitting." I told him simply and he went silent before suddenly he was in my face with glowing green eyes.

"You're quitting!?" Danny said gleefully and quite loudly and in my face and I nodded.

"I was watching them torture Chisaki yesterday and I can't do it anymore. It's not right." I told Danny with a disgusted look on my face at the memory.

"Is there anyway that I can help you?" Danny questioned and I nodded.

"Come with me invisibly. Be prepared to get me out of there when it all goes to shit." I told him and he nodded and with that he vanished and I started my short trek from the apartment to the villain hideout.

I took a deep breath before going in and then I looked at everyone and everyone looked at me and I said the words.

"I quit. Now I know what you're all thinking so shut up and listen! What we did yesterday was wrong. Hell we didn't even do it for the right reasons!" I started and Shigaraki was suddenly in my face.

"Dabi.. What do you mean you quit!?" He shouted and I shoved him off.

"I'm becoming a vigilante. I don't care if anyone follows me or hates me for leaving or whatever the fuck. But it's time I make my own path!" I shouted and Shigaraki stared at me in horror and then I turned around and walked out the door. But not before Shigaraki could react and try to attack me. Luckily for me though Danny existed and made me intangible so that Shigaraki phased through me and then I was being flown away.

"Take us to Nezu. If we go back to my apartment it will be a mess." I told Danny and he nodded.

We landed in Nezu's secret office and the mouse immediately looked up as I burned my phone to ashes.

"Nezu. I quit the league. Also I need a new phone. Do you think you can set me up?"

Nezu blinked so Danny explained.

"Dabi did a bad thing yesterday and realized the error of his ways. Do you think we could please stay here Nezu? Dabi's apartment is no longer safe." Danny begged.

Nezu immediately nodded. "No one will find you in my secret office. But. Does this have anything to do with Kai Chisaki?"

 I nodded grimly. "I watched it happen and helped defeat the sand hero Snatch. I.. I thought we were just taking over their base. I didn't know it was a torture mission." I admitted with a bow of my head.

Nezu nodded and then he vanished up one of the vents and I sat down on the couch with a sigh.

Danny stared at me for a moment and then he sat beside me and put one hand on my knee as if to reassure me and I smiled.

"So you forgive me?" I rumbled to him.

"Yes. I'm glad you changed your mind about villainy." Danny purred and this time I was the one who kind of snuggled up against him.

"Toga and Twice are going to be pissed." I sighed.

"They will get over it. At any rate that hand guy seemed way more mad." Danny chuckled.

"Shigaraki is always pissed." I snorted.

"Like I said. He seemed way more upset than anyone else." Danny pointed out.

"That's because Shigaraki is like a child. When he doesn't get his way he cries." I said simply.

Danny nodded and then Nezu reappeared with tea and crackers for us all to share and so we did. Granted I wasn't a big tea fan but whatever. Danny on the other hand loved it and immediately thanked Nezu.

"Thankyou for the food and tea, Nezu!" Danny said with a beaming smile.

"Well atleast someone is grateful." Nezu teased and I flipped him off.

"Alright well Dabi. I got you a temporary phone until I can get you a real one so here is Aizawa's burner phone."

I snorted. "Can it look up the news?"

"Yes?" Nezu said looking confused.

"Does it have antivirus?" I asked with a quirked eyebrow.

"Yes." Nezu told me.

"Does it have your and Aizawa's numbers?"

"Yes. It also has the staff discord aswell as his class's discord which you will not be messing with." Nezu said pointedly and I grinned at him because all I heard was screw with class 1-A

"Dabi." Danny said with a pointed look.

I waved him off before turning on the phone and that was when I realized that I shouldn't of burned my phone before transferring my memes. Shit. 

"Fine. Gotta do everything the old fashioned way. To the internet I go." I mumbled before logging onto the internet and browsing my favorite meme site. 

"THERE! HAHAHA! I HOPE CLASS 1-A LIKES MEMES!" I hollered before downloading all the fresh memes.

Nezu looked dissapointed and Danny was doing his best to look not proud.

I immediately got into the class 1-A disc and the first thing I fucking did was change my name and then I changed everyone else's names.

After that I logged off with the proudest smile and Nezu sighed so hard I think I saw his spirit come out of it and then Danny burst into laughter before making a grab for my phone and we fought over it like children and eventually I let him win and I watched as he trolled the living hell out of the staff chat since I told him that the 1-A chat belonged to me and if he stole it I would kick his ass.

In the end Nezu had to confiscate the phone from Danny since he had genuinely somehow convinced people that he was a sentient potato here to take over UA and it was just getting wild. All in all it was a awesome fucking day even if the beginning had been shakey.

I think I was going to like it here at UA.

What I got in response was a loud purr and Danny suddenly kissing me. It was amazing and I leaned into him before breaking it off and we both stared at eachother goofily for a moment before returning to the disc.

I paused chatting to look over at Danny curiously.

"You know your real age?" I asked him

Danny nodded. "I was born in 1989. I'm 320 years old."

I blinked. "How the fuck did you figure that out?"

"I subtracted my age at the time I half died by the year I half died. 1989 was the answer and then I subtracted that year from this year. Meaning I'm 320." Danny explained.

"Wow." I said since that was all I could think.

"It also means that I was in the GIW clutches for 300 years of my life since I remember being free on my 20th birthday but not after. I think they caught me the week after that." Danny frowned.

I was furious. They ended Danny's life at 20!? Oh hell no.

"Don't worry Danny. Once I'm through with them there won't even be ashes left." I growled.

Danny smiled and shook his head and I found myself petting his hair again before texting Nezu.

Dabi: So when does Danny move to the classroom?
Nezu: Monday. Also your job starts the same day.
Dabi: Great. So what are we going to do about me being a villain?
Nezu: We will have a assembly in the gym on friday and yes you and Danny will both be expected to be there.
Dabi: Wonderful.

I groaned before getting off my phone and Danny looked nervous.

"Assembly? Like the whole school will be there?" Danny questioned.

I nodded. "That's what assembly's usually are."

"I don't want to go." Danny mumbled.

"Me neither." I grunted.

"But you both have too." Nezu sang as he suddenly dropped in from a vent above us and landed on Danny's back.

I glared at the mouse and he chuckled before scurrying over to his desk to do the rest of the paperwork he had.

I snorted before wrapping an arm around Danny and opening youtube on my phone.

Which was exactly when I got a dm from one of the class 1-A members.

I'm only going to invite you once you fucker. But here is the Bakusquad disc. Mina made me do it.

I blinked before hitting join out of curiosity and man was it a party.

After that me and Danny both logged off the Baku Squad disc chat and laughed before cuddling and watching youtube for the rest of the day. Friday was going to suck but atleast today was fun.

I woke up in an annoyed mood. I did not want to be a part of an assembly. Also the couch was finally starting to hurt my back. I groaned before sitting up and Danny whined.

"Dabi.. I don't wanna." Danny whimpered while wrapping his arms around my waist.

"We gotta though. You heard Nezu." I told Danny.

Danny huffed before stretching out and getting up and then he fell right back down as Nezu fell on him through the vent above us.

I smirked for a moment before standing up myself and stretching.

"So. Anything we need to do before the assembly?" I asked the mouse.

"Introduce yourself to the staff chat and introduce yourself properly. No sentient potatoes." Nezu snickered and Danny pouted.

I smiled before sighing and logging onto the staff chat.

- UA Staff -

Nemuri: So we have a new guy?
Toshinori: Apparently. Heard from the students he was a villain?
Nezu: He used to be a villain. He isn't anymore. Don't forget that Yagi.
Shota: I'm still pissed at him for ruining my class chat -_-
Hizashi: No! That's hilarious!
Sekejiro: Wait he's a retired villain!? How old is he?
Anan: Was he at the training camp incident?
Nezu: Why not let him tell you himself?
Dabi: Hi.
Sekijiro: WAIT! HE'S THE ONE WHO CAUSED THE FIRE!
Anan: !!!
Nemuri: Oh.
Toshinori: No!
Anan: Dabi is coming to the hero side?
Dabi: Yes. I saw what happened to Chisaki and well. Being with Danny has changed my perception of many things. I'm not the same Dabi from last month.
Anan: I'm glad you've changed Dabi ^^
Dabi: ^^
Toshinori: Nezu! How do we know this isn't just a elaborate trap!?
Dabi: Because I quit the league. You can ask Shigaraki. Granted he'll try to disintegrate you while whining but I did quit.
Nemuri: well then. Welcome to the hero side.
Hizashi: Wait! Were you the sentient potato guy from yesterday?
Dabi: No that was my boyfriend.
Shota: Still can't believe you two are together.
Dabi: Got a problem with that Teachersama?
Shota: No. I'm just scared for the school.
Nemuri: Why?

Dabi: Wait! Don't give anyone else admin!
Shota: You're lucky I don't take your admin away!
Dabi: ;^; I like my admin tho
Toshinori: Wtf happened?
Anan: Dabi. What did you do?
Dabi: I made it beautiful.
Sekejiro: This is why no one in my class chat has admin but me.
Nezu: I personally find it kinda funny.
Anan: It is funny but the pomeranian seems pretty upset.
Dabi: Lmfao he added me to his personal squad chat so I think I'm forgiven.
Shota: Oh my god. He invited you to the Bakusquad chat?
Dabi: owo
Nemuri: Noice
Sekejiro: So when are we having the assembly?
Nezu: In one hour.
Ranchi: Sorry I'm late. Was busy with the breakfast crowd. What did I miss?
Dabi: Me joining UA as the new janitor.
Ranchi: Holy Shit!
Toshinori: That's what I said!
Ranchi: Dabi is switching sides? For real?
Nezu: Yes. Now everyone get to work. We have a short day today.
Dabi: Seeyou guys.

I logged off after that and sighed before suddenly something occured to me.

"Danny. Do you think they will make me wear those silly janitor overalls?" I asked with a frown.

"Maybe." Danny grinned.

Nezu then stood up from where he was sitting and smiled at me. 

"Would you rather get your actual clothes dirty?" Nezu asked me.

"No." I groaned since this was the only pair of clothes I had.

Danny snickered beside me and I rolled my eyes at him and then Nezu gestured for Danny to follow before leaving. I sighed before grabbing his hand and then we were gone from the secret room.

Nezu brought us to the locker room where he had two basic MHA uniforms for us and I groaned so loud that I was sure everyone in the school could hear me.

"I'm not wearing that." I growled

Danny on the other hand took his and went off to hide while he changed. 

"Come on Dabi. Your boyfriend took it." Nezu smirked and I snarled again and then Danny came out from behind a row of lockers and honestly he looked downright goofy in a gray blazer and those damn black pants. Hell no.

"No. I'd rather go back to my apartment and see if any of my shit was left not destroyed." I snapped.

"Do you want me to put it on you for you? A T shirt is not going to fly in the assembly. You're supposed to look proffesional." Nezu told me and I was mortified.

"Fine!" I snapped before going to the place Danny went behind the lockers and I got dressed.

Which of course caused me to look even goofier than Danny in the blazer and black pants with the dress shoes and dear god my scars. Did I have to wear this? 

"Nezu..." I whined.

"Oh stop complaining. It's just for the assembly and then you can take it off, now come on." Nezu said with another gesture for us to follow him.

I dragged my feet the whole way while Danny kept messing with his hair. I didn't even bother with mine and then Danny fucking cheated and transformed. 

"Don't worry the suit is still on my human form." Danny smiled before I snuck up on him and whacked the back of his head.

"Bitch!" I half-teased and he laughed his ass off and then we were at the gym and there was a stage and oh my god. I couldn't do this. Danny promptly turned to his human form and put an arm around me.

"Dabi. It's going to be okay. We can do this. Together." Danny stated and then he held my hand and brought me up the stage. I hated Nezu. I hated him so much.

It was about ten minutes later and Nezu was now on a pedestal and me and Danny were situated beside him on both sides when he made the call for all students and staff to come to the gym. Teachers in the front and students in the back behind the teachers.

I watched as blankly as I could as atleast a thousand or what looked like a thousand but was probably closer to three hundred or something kids and adults came into the auditorium and situated themselves.

"Good. Good. Are we all here?" Nezu questioned and everyone shouted a yes and then it started. My personal hell. A fucking assembly dedicated to me. I should have never come to UA. I should have taken Danny and cornily ran off into the fucking sunset or something.

"Alright! Now! Nobody freak out but this is Dabi and this on my other side is Danny! Now! I know Dabi is a villain but he has promised to change! As for Danny he is a boy from a instituition that used him for experimentation with an unknown substance that we believe is the reason for his strange quirk. As for what they will be doing here. Dabi will be the Janitor and Danny will be a student. any questions?" Nezu asked.

Hound dog immediately raised his hand and Nezu nodded at him to continue.

"How do we know this is safe?" Hound dog shouted.

"Because Dabi quit the league and burned his phone to ashes not to mention he's been here since Wednesday also we have heard nothing about the instuition that had Danny. Anyone else?"

Monoma was next and Nezu nodded at him.

"What's Danny's quirk?" Monoma asked.

"He is a ghost. Well half ghost. Remember Fine? He's kind of like that but he looks more human." Nezu explained.

Mei then raised her hand and Nezu nodded at her.

"What class will Danny be joining?" Mei questioned.

"Class 1-A he will be taking Mineta's old spot." Nezu smirked as Monoma shrieked.

"WHY DOES HE GET TO JOIN CLASS 1-A!" Monoma roared.

"Because his quirk is special and has special needs." Nezu sighed.

Everyone seemed pleased by that explanation.

"Alright. Now that the questions are finished. Danny, Dabi any last remarks?"

I shook my head and Danny smiled.

"I CAN'T WAIT TO BE WITH YOU ALL IN CLASS!" Danny hollered and some of the kids cheered.

I laughed before shaking my head and then Danny went ghost and about twenty hands sprang up.

Nezu sighed and chose Ochako.

"Danny is Phantom!?"

Nezu nodded. "Phantom is his quirk form."

Bakugou made himself next by shouting.

"ISN'T PHANTOM ALREADY A HERO! WHY DOES HE NEED TO BE TAKING UP A SPOT THAT SOME OTHER EXTRA COULD USE!" Bakugou roared.

Nezu closed his eyes for a moment before opening them. 

"Danny never got his official hero license. We learned recently that his was forged by the instituition that stole him from the streets. He was never a true hero." Nezu stated.

Danny then raised his hand and Nezu looked at him patiently.

"I would also like to admit that I was under a drug for erasing my memory during that time so I honestly don't count those years that I was Phantom as real as it all seems hazy and out of focus." Danny stated loudly.

Nezu frowned since Danny probably wasn't supposed to admit that but fuck it. He's making us do this assembly we can do whatever the fuck we want and as par for the course everyone started raising their hands again.

Nezu sighed and chose Ectoplasm this time.

"Do we know who this instuition is? Or is that confidential?" Ectoplasm asked.

"It's confidential but yes we know who they are are we are in the process of dismantling them right now." Nezu explained.

After that everyone calmed down and it wasn't long until Nezu sent everyone back to their dorms or staff rooms or home and then he cornered me and Danny.

"Danny, Dabi. I can't let you two share a room so I put your dorms side by side. Although I doubt one of the rooms will be used I would still like you two to try to stay in your own dorms during the night." Nezu told us and I almost laughed in his face. Be away from Danny? Ridiculous.

After that Nezu showed us to the dorm rooms and I immediately went inside of mine and judged it. It was plain, simple and I liked that. 

"Do you have anything space related?" Danny asked Nezu behind me.

"No. I can get you some posters though if you like space." Nezu told Danny with a smile and he nodded excitedly.

"Anyways. I have to go back to my office. Remember. Your own rooms." He said while shooting us both a glare and walking off.

"Share a bed?" Danny smirked.

I nodded and we both snuck into my room for the night.
