Chapter Text

Hello ! Been a while, if your reading this then I welcome you to my second attempt at making a fanfic .

Currently right now I am re-writing this whole thing since most chapters have spaces that stretch beyond miles along with other incorrect grammar .

So I’ll mostly be updating each chapter as I go along so I apologize in advance if they seem weirdly out of order or the style of writing is different .

But anyway I hope I’ll be able to bring you all a better fic to the best of my abilities .

Chapter Text

"Are you sure you want to choose this one master?. He seems to get annoyed easily "a small black cat with red marking swirling around in its fur spoke hesitantly.

"Yes, I'm sure he'll do fine" a soothing voice replied, its long nailed finger quietly tapped on the orb of water.

"Now,do you remember the plan ?" Pale fingers gently started trying a small rolled up paper on the cat's neck with red string.

The cat glanced down at the scroll, quietly hitting it with its paw before looking back up at its master and nodding.

The master smiled "Good, be careful now I won't be able to help you if you get lost" the master then lifted his finger in the air and started to move it.

As the finger moved small but glowing red symbols appeared in the air, after one final spin of his finger.

The symbols collided together and spun combining into a small portal that glowed a soft scarlet.

They then crouched down and lifted up the cat, who nuzzled in its master's touch "Good luck " the cat nodded once more before jumping through.

'I just wanted to get something to eat and be alone in peace. Is that too much to ask for ?  '

You huffed and scratched the nape of your neck and looked around as you were currently in the middle of nowhere.

A forest in fact is where the middle of nowhere was. You kept turning around with a displeased expression 'Where are you little shit ? I promise I won't hurt you...i'll just throw you in a pond or something if you show yourself now instead of later'.

Now let's take a few hours back before you were threatning a cat.

You were sitting down comfortably at a desk doing homework and snacking on some treats. When you finished it you spun around in your chair and threw it to the trash can across the room as it flew to it , it hit the edge of the can and fell over.

'Ill pick it up later ' you spun back around in the chair back to your work at hand before picking up your phone to change the music in your headphones that were helping you drown out the background noise.

'Wonder if Y/n isn't busy perhaps he can babysit Yuuta today?  '

You froze at the sound of your mother's voice echoing in your head.Quickly and hastily   the notebook on the desk was shut, pens were floating back into a pencil case before being zipped shut, amongst other things floating around as they moved back to their original places.

'Nope, not today  I don't want to deal with children today nor any other day . Sorry mom but I want to be left alone in peace 'you grabbed your phone from the desk along with your wallet and placed both items  in your pockets.

As soon as you felt her presence nearing you disappear in the blink of an eye.

The door to your room quietly opened, a woman with  h/c peeked her head looking around confused.

In another place, a few blocks away from your house, you reappeared again behind a tree.  'Well, time to go to the cafe again now that I have all the free time I could want' .

For context, your class was supposed to go on a field trip to go visit and see the landmarks in China . Everyone was excited. Well except for you as one of your former classmates ,who seemed to take a liking towards you for no apparent reason.

Started pestering  you about seeing all the cool monuments and tourist attractions  and how there was a secret treasure and all that jazz that you could care less about in the moment..

You leaned your cheek against the palm of your hand as you sat at your desk trying to quietly ignore your classmate who seemed to not get the hint.

"Hey buddy, do you think they have ramen over there ?" Then another classmate joined in ,who also comes to pester you from time to time "of course they do you gorilla we import ramen to them all the time " .

"It was just a simple question! No need to insult me !"

And then Insure the both of them start to bicker about the topic as you tried to leave only to end up getting roped into the bickering  .

But on the day of the field trip, it seems luck was on your side surprisingly.

You had ,non intentionally, had overslept. And totally didn't hear your phone buzzing from having received notifications. You missed  the bus and the plane that were set to depart at a specific time, but by the time you realized it , it was too late to try and arrive.

That was the best part .

'Finally! A week without annoying people ! Has God finally answered my prayers from a year ago ! ' you cheered silently with a flowery aura around you as you took a bite from  a pastry.

But the life of a psychic isn't easy .

And lady luck seems to have changed her mind about letting you have luck and think that your wishes from last year had been granted.

Walking down the street towards the cafe you were frequent to visit, as you scrolled on your phone.

A small little figure was standing quietly from the corner of your eye, you glanced over to the figure momentarily. A black cat with red lined markings was just sitting there on the other side of the road.

You blinked at it and of course ignored it and whatever thoughts it had when walking past it. Although you did find the markings  embedded in its fur strange.

Then again this world was strange to you usually and at the moment you didn't want to deal with cat affairs again.

You shudder at the memory of being dragged into the problems of an orange cat and his goal to get with a female cat he loved. 

The small mammal  watched as you passed by it before quietly  following you. Ignoring  it you kept walking calmly, but you did spare a glance back at it.

It had  weirded you out that the cat's thoughts were all jumbled and static.

You raised a brow at it before turning back around 'Okay ? That's not weird at all. Wait-is it a robot ? Ugh don't tell me B/n sent it '.

The cat followed you  for about a good solid five minutes. As you were nearing the cafe you sighed and  quickly turned around to face the cat .

'Alright, what do you want? Are you one of B/n little projects or something ? 'The cat's mind didn't reply, it just stared at you  with its big golden  eyes. It walked closer to you and sat down before placing its paw in front of you .

Lifting its paw up, there was a small squared paper seal on the ground the symbol was in  a Chinese character '宇'  the word was 'world .
Raising a brow you look at them both in confusion .

'What is this-'

Suddenly a beam of light blasted from the seal , golden ropes flew out of it . Quickly your body reacted by jumping away.

The ropes flailed around in the air for a few seconds before launching towards you , one of them had caught your leg but you kept a bored expression at the situation.

'Is this supposed to do something ? I could easily tear this off you know ' the cat only stared at you and didn't respond.

You blinked at it and rolled your eyes and started pulling your leg back. The rope straightened out from the tug. The seal also moved as well but it didn't break, it only tugged harder again.

You grabbed onto the rope feeling warmth radiating from it to the palm of your hand and started to tug on it to break it.

It tugged back and just grew warmer, you narrowed your eyes slightly at it and tried to move your arm to rip it off more harshly.

Another golden rope appeared from the one that held your leg  and wrapped itself on your arm .

'Okay this is getting annoying'

Before you could just destroy it with a snap of your fingers, you felt the presence of bystanders coming by .

"Whoa !! Look at that lightshow ,  let's go check out what it is !" A voice shouted as their footsteps started to approach .

'Crap , if  I do anything harsh now I'll be dragging attention to myself even more  afterwards. Then again I could just let it take me I could easily teleport back home after '

And so that's what you did, letting your strength weaken the rope tugged harshly  and your body was pulled forward towards the seal. The last thing you saw was the bright blue sky.

Falling .

Ah yes, falling.

That was your current predicament at the moment after allowing the rope to tug you into the seal.

You looked around the empty abyss as the cold breeze nipt  at your skin as it gently blew your hair up with the ropes still tightly wrapped around your body.

Glancing down, a shimmer of gold light burst from the bottom and headed up towards you  . Shutting your eyes, the feeling of the light engulfed you .

Only after feeling the soles of your shoes touch  solid ground did you open back up your eyes and look around .

Many tall trees surrounded you with their leaves blocking any other view, you could only see the sunset colored sky if you looked above.

Glancing down you watched as the golden ropes had slowly started to lose its warmth and light. Both attributes slowly faded away until all that was left was a worn out loose colored rope.

It slowly fell apart and fell softly onto the ground, rubbing your arm. You looked around for any sign of the weird colored cat before shrugging .

'Well that was a fun experience, time to go to the cafe now ' not bothering to keep searching for the cat . You tried to teleport.

Jumping a bit in the air you expected the scenery to change .

It didn't.

'What the hell ?'

You kept trying it again over and over, but nothing happened .

So now this leads back to where you are now .

'The heck? My powers aren't working at all. But of course the  time I need them  they decide to not work, but every other time they do when I don't need to use them.

In the middle of the big trees,  you decided to test  out your other abilities.First by  punching a tree with little to no force, it fell and knocked over two other trees .

Opening your hand  the trees reverted back to their normal state .

'No the others work, is just teleportation that's the problem' glancing around you noticed a  mountain far away. Within a second you were standing on top of a pile of snow.

You looked around, not minding the cold , in search of the place you had been before. You ended up finding it all the way at the bottom of the mountain a few miles away.

Doing the same trick, you appear right back to the spot you ended up in and pat off the snow that collected  on your shoulders.

Confusion is what consumes your mind as you try to think why you couldn't  teleport home . After trying for another hour and a half along with thinking about what the cat-or even if it was a cat- did.

'Well if I can't teleport home I'll just have to see where in blazes I am 'Your shoulders slump down tiredly as you began walking in a random direction not caring in where you would be going since you had no real destination in mind.

Well other then to go home at the moment.

Getting to the end of the forest,  you spotted a few lights glimmering down below and then you realized you were on a cliff.

At the bottom of the cliff, there was a city all filled with bright neon lights that glowed softly in the growing sunset.

'.... You know babysitting Yuuta doesn't seem all that bad right now '

Being the center of attention,

Personality: hates being the center of attention, is quite reserved, and rarely uses his voice, instead preferring to project his words through telepathy into the minds of others. To avoid interactions, he tries to make others disinterested in him or avoid others as much as possible.

Current goal :To go home

Everyone else looks the same except human like Mk and mei I think theirs enough fan Art for everyone else that aren't drawn as legos for you guys to have a vivid image but again it probably won't make that much of a difference as I write this story

Let it also be noted that the drawing is just a reference you don’t actually have pale skin and black hair and eyes those are just default colors for the drawing  .

Floating down from the edge you start to walk over to the giant glowing city that was surrounded by a field of nothing but sand . When you made it their everything looked too neon for your liking but it was a cool sight to see walking along you take in all the thoughts of everything around you which was an everyday thing now 'good grief I already hate being here I just wanted to go to the cafe ugh we'll at least I can adapt to the language fast enough ' .

Walking down the streets everything was illuminated with lanterns. You keep walking around with no real destination in mind but walking around to seem normal and not appear as a person who's about to lose their damn mind about not being able to go home. From what you could have gathered from this place it was China in an alternative universe probably * grumble * looking down at your stomach it had grumbled again in hunger 'really I just ate 3 boxes of coffee jelly ' and to make the situation worse than it already was you had no damn money which you now realized and no place to stay ' ...I could just rob a nearby bank but that goes against my mom's wishes even though she isn't here I still don't want to disappoint her'   sighing you kept looking around until the ground started to shake.

 The buildings trembled slightly. You didn't move at all though and just stood on the sidewalk as everybody panicked in confusion. It stopped as it suddenly came "AHHhhh!!! " looking up to where the screaming was a a cart of some sorts was flying through the air a boy with brown hair and a red bandana was inside the vehicle 'hold on a fucking a minute ' the cart then fell back down into the streets as it raced through buildings, looking around you went to a small corner on the side walk before crossing your eyes together using clarvoince you were able to immediately track down the cart that so happens to fly over head. 

The vehicle had broken down as the boy panicked; he grabbed the red staff and ran. He took  a hoverboard of sorts and flew away shouting out a good bye to his pursuer who was a guy with flaming red hair who was pissed to the point his hair actually turned on fire as he kept screaming noodle boy 'oh hell no if that cat transported me to where i think it did I'm about to lose it' the chase went on until the brown haired boy was about to fall off an unfinished road and that's when a spark of a green dragon came rushing in grabbed the poor boy and left as the fiery fire boy crashed and landed through a building. 

'Oh. what. a .delight the cat did send me to that children's show. It's the one with the weird monkey everyone kept fanning over ' eyes returning back to normal You rub your forehead with one hand feeling an  oncoming migraine from this situation you then looked down at your hands ' at least my body proportions are still normal and not one of a toy ' clutching them shut and the opening them you felt a familiar annoying presence 'speak of the devil '   the cat was on top of a roof top staring down at you tail flickering it thought you hadn't noticed it but it was dead wrong. As it turned around to leave it was suddenly picked up by the collar of its back it hissed at you ‘now you little furball you have exactly 10 seconds to explain why the hell you brought me here and it better be good or else I’m throwing you out of orbit into the sun ‘ staring menacing at the cat it shrunk in fear, it didn’t talk at all not even through its thoughts .

You shrugged your shoulders ‘alright, say hi to the sun for me ‘ winding up your arm that held the cat you were ready to throw it into space . It quickly hugged and clawed your arm as it cried out and that’s when it finally spoke “NOO! Please no i'll explain !!! You crazy human !! Please don’t throw me into the sun!!!” It wailed you let the cat go as it landed on the floor with a thump it stood up and shook its head from the small impact crossing your arms you raised a brow it quickly shrieked as it shaked “T-The reason I brought you here was to help  save our world and help The Great sages successor to defend the upcoming evil that he will face in the future “ it raised its paws too while it explained you glared at it in irradiation ‘so what your trying to tell me is that I was forcefully dragged here to help some protagonist of a kids Tv show to deal with its enemies!!…….that isn’t any of my concern to deal with as this show is already in its final season from what I’ve gathered also that doesn’t explain why hell I can’t teleport home .‘

 It quickly raised its voice as cartoonish tears started to develop in its eyes “I-I the only reason I picked you in the first place was because you’re an all powerful psychic!! Oh please won't you be merciful and help him !!! He’s your only ticket back home!!The seal I used prevents you from going home until you complete the assigned job !!just help him please until they defeat the evil that dwells here only then will you be able to go home !!!”it started to cry in fear if you  still refuse you sighed in annoyance as the cat cried while trying to persuade you into helping but you already had to anyway since you connected the dots ‘if I help the kid defeat  that crazy child possessing demon then that will be my ticket to go home so all I have to do is one, protect the kid since if he dies then I’m automatically stuck here forever and two, help kill and or seal up the crazy bone demon * sigh * this is annoying to deal with already ‘ .

Before the cat can bow down in desperation you grab it once more by its collar, as it screeches ‘fine I’ll help-‘ “oh! Thank you all mighty psychic I swear it’ll be worth it !! “ it kept thanking you as you held a dead panned expression ‘one thing though   “y-yes !? “ you waved your hand around pointing at the city view from the rooftop ‘ where am I meant to stay until I get to go home last time I checked I’m not about to rob a bank to get a place ‘  the cat squirmed in your grip as it fell it landed on its feet a relief expression on its face “D-don’t worry about that almighty psychic ! I’ve got it covered, actually I’ve been planning this for a whole year now ! Just follow me “ the cat jumped down from the rooftop going down the parts that stuck out of the building ‘it’s been planning this for how long now ? ’ as you followed quietly floating down but not before checking around if anyone was watching .The cat had lead you to a more remote part of the city he perked up and ran over to a simple looking house , he waved his paw over to you the house was a simple gray with black details entering it everything looked normal for a tv kids show their was one room for everything especially the foods supply and in one of the cabinets was the holy grail….

A whole load of coffee jelly’s 

‘This isn’t turning out so bad after all ‘ the cat flicked its tail in pride as it had pleased you with its work that was until it shiverd . It looked to its side as a faint glow of a yellow orb appeared through it. It saw the main characters already at flower fruit mountain as they avoided a blow from the princess iron fan . It started to sweat drop in worry the light flickered away it looked back at you who was just calculating how long the stash of coffee jelly would last you , it cleared its throat nervously “uh not be a bother almighty psychic but um there's a small stitch of a problem right now “ looking up from thinking you put your hand down from your chin  ‘okay first stop with the almighty psychic title just call me y/n and what’s the problem ‘ it stared at you before answering quickly “The Cast Has already made it to their desired destination and are facing their first foes right about now and Mk is going to be thrown across over the volcano and lava from the mountain!” .

Teleporting out of the place you quickly made it to where they were after using Clairvoyance to track them down. ‘Damn it already the kid gets in trouble as soon as I make it here. If he dies right now I’ll just destroy the whole damn demon population .’

Floating above said mountain you look around until you see the familiar delivery boy who jumped up to land a blow with a staff to a woman who you presumed was named princess iron fan she stops the attack surprising the boy before flicking him away from the staff he ends up flying across the mountain . As he’s about to be burned to cinders by the lava you use  Telekinesis while still floating above not being able to be seen by his companions. Using it you maneuver the boy away from the blast of lava and quickly try to drop him somewhere safe as he went unconscious from the shock wave from the flick. Doing so you notice a beam of purple light that shoots out of the city into the sky and it fades away as you groan in frustration.

Dropping the boy on a patch of sand away from the volcanic destruction You leave him there and hide among the vegetation nearby, a few small monkeys notice you but don’t approach as their senses scream danger but they don’t leave either as you weren’t doing anything threatening . One of the monkeys grab a stick and go towards the unconscious boy and poke him with the stick on his cheek the boy wakes up and is then surrounded by more monkeys before being attacked ‘eh he's not in any  grave life threatening danger he’ll be fine ,’   in protest he shoots up and swats away the monkeys he then starts to look around in response You back up farther into the trees he then stares at the mountain mumbling in awe . He starts to climb the mountain as you follow along quietly helping him then in there with your Telekinesis in case he tripped on ruble and would fall .

As he fumbled to lift himself up he had already made it to the waterfall he jumped on rocks and stone to cross the river when he made it across he went over and put his hand to touch the waterfall in response a golden circle appeared from under with symbols the water turned into a gold color as it parted in half to let the boy through. ‘Talk about a safe lock ‘ as the boy entered through you quickly transformed into a h/c bird although it may have been suspicious that a bird with glasses and an earring was just sitting there weirdly you still used it to fly in quickly with the boy .

You flew above him quietly so as to not drag attention, the boy kept walking as he shouted “Hello ! …Hello ! “ around if anyone were to respond, of course you didn’t though, He kept walking until he came across a very old broken painting. The paint faded as there were cracks on the concrete wall,the painting had five different characters on it . One human who dressed as a monk next to it was a white horse , a pig who held a rake , a big blue   creature of sorts and in the middle a golden brown haired monkey who held a staff .

  ‘Huh so those are the characters from the Chinese myths ‘ while he was looking you perched yourself on a vine as you watched him. He suddenly started to shout in surprise “w-what’s wrong with my eyes!!?”  After a minute he looked down at his hands as he calmed down and then stared in awe ….at whatever he was looking at because you couldn’t see anything but plain broken,old walls and plants ‘ he must be seeing a spirit or something ,Toritsuka would probably be able to see it ‘

As he was staring in awe he perked up “Monkey king !” He then ran off into a cave as you followed he ran until he reached his arm out to grab onto something? He grabbed onto nothing which was expected farther into the cave was a small house among other old items. 

He called out again but no response he then groaned in frustration before kicking a rock just as you where about fly away a very weird looking butterfly flew from under you ‘the heck is that’   it flew to the crouching boy as it landed on its arm he perked up and stared at the butterfly “sup!” The butterfly had spoken ‘okay I’ve seen it all ‘ the boy shouted as he jumped up the butterfly landed on the ground “yes yes it is I the monkey k-oof!!” It was squished immediately by the boy ‘Damn way to be brutal’

“Is it dead ?” The boy had lifted up his foot to stare at the squashed insect and suddenly it glowed a golden hue. It started to transform into different creatures until it became a monkey dressed in clothes “m-monkey king ?” The monkey crossed its arms in pride “yup ! The one and only , so where’s my staff ?”  You  facepalmed with your wings . ‘Oh  god here comes the waterworks’ and truth to word the boy started to pout, his eyes turning watery before a burst of tears came out “I’m so sorry!!i tried to bring it to you but princess iron fan came and took it she’s got this glove-“he was then cut off by the monkey who was  chuckling “heh I know, I know look I’m gonna come clean um ,I’ve been kinda watching you “  ‘then why fuck did you not save him from being burned to cinders? Wait no I take it back. Now that I think about it that sounds creepy ’ .

 You were  still perched in a corner in the shadows watching “wait what that was you !?” the boy asked or Well Mk you decided now to refer to him as his name as the author was getting tired of writing bo- hey no breaking the fourth wall !!  Continuing on .

The monkey stared back at Mk who was pouting again as he was scratching his back with a piece of bamboo as he cackled, throwing his head back as he sat on his tail “the look on your face, your perfect!” He pointed the bamboo at him ‘ yeah he’s perfect enough to make me lose my sanity in making sure he and his friends don’t fucking die on me ‘ and so insue him and monkey talking about him being his successor after he announced that Mk started to circle and make sure monkey kings head was working right as he had doubts about him being his successor.

Monkey king just grabbed him by  his tail and put him down on the ground and started to rummage through his belongings until he grabbed a bag of chips “listen kid you fought demons '' 'more like pissed of demons ‘ “and you didn’t die “ ‘yeah thanks to me ‘   “And you made it here, not just anyone can lift my staff” ‘wanna bet on that ‘  

Mk just argued back about the demon bull king in which the monkey just laughed and said to think of it as a trial and that he can handle it ‘…I’m predicting right now that this man- or monkey is going to be a pretty shitty mentor *sigh* That means more work for me physically and emotionally ugh ‘   he then proceeded to give a pep talk to the still doubtful full Mk which had ,miraculously , given him enough confidence to leave right then and there to go take back the staff.

As You were about to follow him you felt a stare on you looking down. The monkey just stared at you, his eyes narrowing Turing into a golden color  until they opened up in surprise ‘how-I can’t see through it …?’ reading his thoughts you quickly left “hey- no wait come back here !” He shouted out behind you ignoring it. You flew straight for the kid who had just jumped out of the waterfall ‘sorry ape I’d rather not deal with you right now, I’ve got a kid to watch ‘ .

Making it you watch Mk who had  a face full of  determination to take the staff back .

“How am I supposed to get back !?”you sigh internally before flying to a knocked out metal box that had fallen off the ship Mk was on before using x-ray vision in the metal box was a vehicle of sorts, quickly tapping your beak  on the screws of the box it opens and made a sound Mk turns around just as you go and hide within the bamboo. The box falls apart and the vehicle is now seen he shouts in excitement as he runs and hops in the vehicle he the looks at all the buttons in confusion sticking his tongue out “uhh it can’t be too hard to use it’s for ages 8 and up “ he presses on a button and the vehicle starts to move it floats barely above the ground ‘gosh this is awkward to watch ‘ it stumbles in the air for a bit until it shoots off in the air. You quickly go and follow him close behind.

After making the sure the kid wouldn’t die trying to fly the vehicle you let him crash land into the fiery red boy which to be honest was excruciating to watch the vehicle ended up smashing him in the end ‘ oh that’s gotta hurt ‘  getting back up from the crash he ends up being hugged by the girl as he explains that he had found monkey king and when the pig had asked where he was he just simply responded “he said it’s up to me ,to us “. ‘Yup just dump a whole ass big task to a new kid who barely knows how to fight, that sounds totally reasonable. The ground then shook looking above to the city and an ominous feeling came out of it “and how are we supposed to fight that “ the glasses man asked. 

Mk just looked at his hand and clenched it “we believe in ourselves “.

  ‘Wow what a way with words ….I’m gonna have to save all their asses aren’t I ‘

Mk gets on a bike that was salvaged from the jet wreckage and drives off. You follow him from the air making sure your shadow wasn’t notable on the ground . Not too far off was monkey king who was also in his bird transformation watching . Mk road through the streets as Dbk fired his laser from his arm he road until he jumped off another unfinished street towards Dbk before landing inside the hole in his chest where the staff was at suddenly precognition hit you ‘I fucking  knew it !’ Teleporting to where his friends were you stayed up in the sky, the shock wave from Dbk bursted towards his friends rocks and stone flew to them the big blue guy pushed them all down to the floor protecting them from the rubble with his body although not a lot of stone hit them as you used Telekinesis to move the rocks away while you yourself were avoiding the stone and rocks . 

As soon as it finished Dbk started heading towards the city to take it down before you could intervene he stopped moving surprised by the sudden event a rock fell out of his chest and landed on the floor it cracked as golden light seeped through it before blasting into the air like a comet and out came Mk. The light was too bright for you so you used your wing to have shade so as to not be blinded ‘whoa …. That’s bright ‘  Dbk then started to compare them both in his head his thoughts screamed as he thought Mk looked like the monkey king ‘eh I don't see it but meh that’s just me ‘   Mk got out the staff and went to attack him ‘so it’s the cliche power up thing is what we’re doing that now huh “ Dbk then used his cannons to attack back the giant staff that was enlarged but failed as it had squished him ?.

Mk then used the regular sized staff cut a piece of a building off and picked it up, lifted it over Dbk and tried to trap him under “ Enough !!”  He screamed as he used the cannon launcher on his chest a blast of light had destroyed the building, Mk getting caught in it before Dbk could punch him to next Sunday You intervened with the impact using telekinesis to minus the strength to that of a normal punch he only hit the wall slightly but not to hard as to to hurt him ‘holy shit that was close and it’s barely the first day !’  .

Mk thoughts echo in your head ‘oh so he’s using that monkey advice huh better keep a little distance as I’m too lazy right now to avoid the collateral damage that’s about to be done ‘  he then gets up takes the staff and punches it into the ground blocks of cement and every material around him shoot up into the sky then they start to build something ?? You only watched surprised ‘I-is that a mecha ? Are kidding me ‘  

Suddenly ,like everything single power ranger power up you’ve seen , Mk gets in the mecha and uses it to smash him into the ground a burst of light shoots through and engulfed the entire city and everything around it it then reaches out through and back through earth and space because of that the solar system only moves just an inch . Dbk then falls to the ground ,hurting “I-impossible” you only squak ‘what the fuck the only imposible thing right now is how the fuck your alive !?’  Before Mk could take them away both Dbk and Red Son were surrounded by a tornado of wind. The only thing left being heard was the laughter from the princess iron fan .

As the gang celebrate their victory You finally transformed back into your normal self sitting on a piece of ruble far away from them .

‘* sigh * good grief this is going to be a long journey’. 

Chapter Text

Eating a coffee jelly you were laying down on the couch watching the Tv as that was your only form of entertainment minus your phone which you had on you when starting the journey.

Of course you use clairvoyance to cheek on the kid from time to time to make sure he wasn't on the brink of death or something along those lines "And in breaking news it's been confirmed that last week's devastation was caused by the legendary demon bull king . Questions still remain about the small overpower young man-" you stared off into space drowning out the sounds of news that was being broadcasted . 

Once you were done with the coffee jelly you threw it or  well levitated it to the trash can  before deciding to check on the kid after 30 minutes crossing your eyes you were able to see a crane break as the heavy metal box it was carrying fell on the kid.

 ".... We'll shit time to destroy the demon population and send them to hell' but as soon as you were getting up to do just that the kid had broken out of the box unscathed " I am invincible!!!!!" He screamed 'or not but hey if he can survive that it'll make my job ten times easier to make sure he doesn't die'

Now you may be wondering where the cat is.

 Actually, I have no idea . 

It just saluted at you and left saying it'll come by once in a while to check how things were going. 

 You on the other hand were calculating your living arrangements, everything needed to live here was arranged as needed  food, clothing for some reason even though you could just wash the ones you wore, but who knows when you need an extra pair of clothes. 

Sitting up you yawn tiredly even though you haven't done anything since you literally don't know what to do here other than eat coffee jelly and throw darts at the ceiling out of boredom although one aspect of this was that you had peace and quiet... even though all the thoughts from the people around you echoed in your mind... all the time .

The tv in front of you then changed the face of the fiery Red son on "citizens it is I Red son . I have taken control of the weather station and will harvest the very power of nature to return my father back to his former glory. This message is more of a courtesy" the sounds of hard rain drops started to hit the rooftop ' haha I'm totally invencible!!" Mk's voice echoed in your head .

Sighing you got up from the couch, went over to one of the kitchen cupboards grabbed a box of small chocolate cookies and teleported to the Weather station the scenery changed and you were now inside a place of sorts where bull soldiers were walking around and the infamous Red son was sitting on the chair in the main desk sipping on his drink .

'Well i don't know how the laws of physics work here or why they need a weather station but all i have to do is supervise so the kid doesn't get injured that badly ' going into one of the farther corners of the building you lean against a wall and open the small box of cookies, hiding your presence  watching as Mk magically made it here with his crew  .

 Both him and Red son start to banter at each other  " your laughing now but I'm invincible " 'not sure how that's a comeback but whatever '  " so yeah you're basically toast " as he took out the staff Mei and sandy , who you learned their names from watching the kid ' were holding pieces of cardboard with letters written on them for special effects as they put them away to fight .

But Mk's staff didn't listen when he tired to swing it went all wobbly and enlarged in length it spun around until it hit Mei on her head as she tried to hype him up ' i dont think her head supposed to squish like that ' he quickly apologized and tired to gain control of the staff but only swung it towards his friends each of them dodge or well most of them . 

Sandy was hit straight in the face knocking him out as his soul slowly ascende . 

The staff was heading towards your direction but you only crouched to avoid it as it went over head, munching on a cookie , but as Sandy's soul started to leave Mei quickly pushed it back down as the other two men were worried for their blue male friend .

'You thugs are done beating up each other yet " Red son asked sarcastically as he sat on the chair " Yes ! And you are next on my list " you sweat drop awkwardly ' He shouldn't have worded it that way '  Mk spin his staff in the air before throwing it though it never hits the intended target . 

His staff had fallen behind. 

It moved around before planting itself on the ground and shooting straight out, hitting Mk and sending him flying up into the air bouncing off the walls as you watched moving your head in the directions he went as he screamed before he inevitably smashed  through the window and out of the Weather station . 

The bull army had surrounded his friends, munching on the last chocolate cookie  you look down at the bottom of the box, the only thing being crumbs throwing the box in a nearby trash can. It had hit a section of the bull soldiers flinging them to the side 'oops ' you forgot to hold back .

Mei perked up from the sounds of metal clashing together and yelps of pain, looking  in that specific direction she now noticed a young looking man in the corner next to the wall. 

To say the least he did have a pretty face but he just stood there with an expression of boredom on his face ,arms crossed until he sighed and was gone the next time she blinked  'who was that ?',

Teleporting out of there you cringed at Red son's line about garbage and the fact that Mei had noticed you but that's a problem for another day .

 Turning into a bird once again you fly down to catch up with Mk who was falling at a fast rate out of the tower using your claws the moment you get close enough you grab onto his shirt collar to slow down the speed and impact of his fall with your strength  .

As he stopped screaming his face turned into one of confusion glancing up a weird h/c bird with glasses and an earring was holding him by the collar of his shirt " Who are you little friend " not saying anything as to keep the disguise of a bird you quickly land him down softly on the ground  before he could say anything else to you. 

The bird had vanished . 

Really though you just pearched yourself up on the edge of a roof top .

"How you doing there bud " the monkey himself was laying down on a fluffy white cloud Mk turned around excitedly "Monkey King ! Great now that you're here we can fly up there and smash -'' he was then interrupted from his small hype up speech " No , no in case you forgot I'm retired you're supposed to take care of the bad guys . Besides your invincible " he mimicked Mk's voice at the end while holding a piece of wood at him 'yesh not even a piece of advice brutal '   Mk then starts to say doubtful things about himself as you watch from the rooftop feeling a little bad for the guy like damn he had no self confidence. 

In the middle of it the monkey jumps up from his cloud and onto Mk's shoulders searching him " oh ! Yeah you're right, oh this is bad, something really bad !" Introduce MK now panicking "its you dummy " he then eats a bug from Mk's hair  '...thats fucking disgusting!!!' Trying not to bring back up the food you had eaten earlier you look away gagging . 

I mean what'd you expect Y/n he's a damn monk- ' shut up Author  !! I know but still that's just-ugh ' .

"In order to have full control of your powers you need confidence " 'that logic absolutely makes no sense, if it did then I'd have full control of mine '.  The monkey had gotten off Mk as he did weird poses ? But Mk had protested in response " I got self confidence "he puffed up his chest in pride trying , and failing , to do the same poses as the monkey before standing next to him . 

But he was pushed aside by his tail "Nope , you're just loud the only way to have self confidence is - " he was cut off by Mk's input ..? " Fake it til I make " 'Damn that sounded personal ' .

 "NO ! Practice, do you think I took shortcuts ?! " 'yes actually' "No it took me centuries of training and fighting" 'you mean doing impulsive decisions' and just beating up demons,just so many demons " 'says the guy who fought his way through heaven '  "A-anyway nothing worth anything comes for free " 'sure monkey keep telling yourself that ' 

"But what about my friends, the city they're all counting on me " Mk pouted cartoonish tears forming in his eyes as a golden glow raided off him .

Monkey king groaned in response and gave in " ughh fine if it'll stop your whining, i know a way to limit your powers so you can learn to control them but " he stops halfway through .

You squint your eyes in suspicion 'it better not be what i think he's thinking '

"But what ?" And the dread response came from the monkey " you won't be invincible anymore " ' nah shit kid please no that just means I have to watch you 24/7 !' .

Sadly since you didn't say anything mentally or verbally none of the both heard it .

And in the most nonchalant voice that almost compared to your Mk agreed " *sigh* Alright Let's do it ".   

You fall comedy backwards on the roof and hit the floor of it 'no... why... no my coffee jelly my spare time wasted away '.

"Alright no Turning back " Monkey king then proceeds to toss his hand up in the air a golden aura surrounding him as he pushes them forward a symbol of gold appears pulling them back he then pushes the symbol into Mk's chest . 

He kneels on the ground in discomfort as the monkey slides up to check on the kid "Feeling alright bud ?"  Mk raises his face in determination "Yeah ."  

'I'M NOT !!'.

After following them secretly back up into the weather station Monkey king carries Mk back and then drops as he shatters through the glass of the roof .

He lands with a small thug and groans "Let's settle this for real i won't let you get away with this " but all he receives in reply is Red Sons laughter " your back to beat yourself up some more ". "Hey ! I'll have you know i can control my powers now only downside is I'm not invincible any more so i could die " 'yeah and that's something i don't need happening '   Pigsty shouts in confusion "what ! "   "Uh i uh Forgot I said that . I got this " he then jumps up into the air staff in hand as he uses it to blast towards Red Son.

 who also does the same but with the bull soldiers behind him except Mk realizes this a bit too late and scrambles back in panic dodging the blast beams that are sent towards him . 

Helping him you quickly fly over and hit them with your small but strong bird body which sends them flying to the ground and go into hiding again watching MK fight Red son . 

Which to say in the least looks like something out of a martial arts movie with the way Red son moves attacking and Mk blocking his punches with the staff until he gets a solid hit sending Mk flying across the building onto the floor next to the main desk .

Bull soldiers go and try to attack him together, this time you decide not to interfere as to let him handle it on his own since they weren't all that many of them ambushing Mk . 

As they made impact with the floor a burst of dust  came up .

 The bull soldiers all dog piled on top of Mk as Red son got on top of them all shouting a cocky remark, except the dog pile is suddenly dispersed when the staff stretches out blasting them away and hitting them one by one until they're all being held  by the staff and in the air over the weather  station ' ah he's going to electrocuted them '     "Oh~a lightning button ~" Mk goes over and presses said button . 

Suddenly bursts of lightning come shooting out of the sky and are then attracted to the pole and then all in one strike they electrocuted Red son and the bull soldiers. 

When the staff returns back to normal Red son slaps down on the floor and in a heat of anger of being defeated again he bursts off into a flame of fire .MK then returns everything back to normal sliding down the control panels of which red son had before messed up . 

He's then tackled to the ground by his crew as you where perched on top of broken ruble "aww you really did limit your powers '' Mei whined as she was still tied up with the purple rope Mk got up scratching his head sheepishly "Yeah just so that i can  control them better ". ' Yup and the price paid for that is me having to almost be around you 24/7 '.   

Mk then grabs the staff and tries to do a trick with it to show off to Pigsy  to prove a point before he accidentally hits himself with the staff on the head he falls backward, head facing the ruble you were perched on . 

He perked up when he saw you or well the bird sitting there he got up and tilted his head at you questions rose in his mind as you consumed them all in yours as you tilted your head back . 

Suddenly you heard a demon whisper one not too far from where you were .

'It's the child  possessing demon it seems '

Chapter Text

"You such an awesome bird !" Mk shouted happily .

He fed you small pieces of fruit as you both sat  inside a noodle shop run by pigsy. 

How this whole ordeal happened was rather confusing. 

First after the weather  incident he approached you carefully thinking you were a normal bird as he was  scared to spook you off , in which you aren't but refused to acknowledge that to him as it would be annoying and tiring to explain what you were to them . 

You allowed him as he stretched his arm rather hesitant to you 'jeez, well looks like i'll have to let him pet me like some pet to gain his trust' jumping on his arm he yelped in surprise, you waddled on his arm until you reached his shoulder where you just  sat there .  

"Whoa ! What you got there MK ! " Mei asked curiously, she walked over and slightly poked you or the wing, allowing her to do so you just stayed there not moving at all to seem like a normal bird .

A bird who had questionable accessories on itself .

"I-it's just a bird i guess. It helped me after I fell from the weather station and well here we are ..... Do you think I'll be able to keep it ?" He patted your head with his finger in awe .

Responding, you chirp like any normal bird 'I'm not fond of being kept as a pet . The only reason I'm doing this is because you have the main protagonists problems and frankly I'd rather be home and for that to happen i need you alive '

Mei gasped loudly "Do you know what this means Mk !! " he tilted his head to the side in confusion "uh no i don't Mei '' she then pointed at you before picking you up like a prized trophy 'I don't like being held but ill let it slide this one time '  "He can be the team's mascot!! or like those cool animal friends !!"   "I take it all back please end this '

And so then in the following days you just stayed next to MK on his shoulder.

His friends wouldn't pester you much unlike Mei  and to their surprise you actually got along with sandys cat. It wasn't in the least difficult if all you had to do was not fly away as for the cat to think you wanted to play . 

The both of you just sat calmly as it slept.

  You'd only disappear in the night to go back to your home and whenever the Monkey was around to avoid suspicion from him .

Eating the fruit was easier said than done as he had bought a bird cage of sorts in his room where you'd pretend to stay in which after he fell asleep you went back to your residence. 

He had also bought bird food which you refused to eat 'I know i look like a bird but no way am i eating bugs and seeds I'd prefer fruit thank you very much ' .

Now back to the matter at hand, jumping up in surprise, Pigsy had clicked on the bell Mk perked up and went over, grabbed the noodles and went back outside with you following .

He placed them inside the food carrier, turned on his phone to the orders destination and drove off with you perched on his head. 

In no time he had already delivered all the orders but on his way back to the noodle shop you both had run into Sandy who had asked Mk him to help paint his boat into a bright blue color .

MK happily accepted and grabbed a paint brush and a bucket of blue paint. He started to paint everything blue at one point he had grabbed the bucket and just threw it all over the boat .

You yourself had gotten a bit of paint on your feathers but quickly shook it off before it could stain "i don't want blue stains on my clothes later today '

Making it back to his home above Pigsy noodle shop he was ready to turn in for the night .

He got out of the shower as you had gone back into the bird cage to 'fall asleep ' until he was surprised by the fact Mei was in and had then been throwing his clothes all over the place '...i predict a few hours from now the kids going to pull off a monkey trick if i think this is going into the direction to where i think it's going ' .

Now in front of a big illuminated place they both shout in excitement as they played the games and took selfies of each other . 

You on the other hand were just sitting on his head which was just a regular thing now he didn't mind if you were sitting there for most of the day Mk didn't get back home until morning where he had to work early so he was sleepy while delivering the noodle orders and when he was once again approached by sandy to help paint his boat again .

You dead panned as you watched him struggle to stay up while painting the boat and then again he went out with Mei at night, you were able to sleep on his head calmly but were getting annoyed at the fact that the  more they kept him up the more you had to stay and pretend to be an insect eating bird and it had been two days since you ate a coffee jelly so there was also that . 

These events kept repeating his face started to twitch whenever Sandy kept saying that he thought of painting the damn boat AGAIN it now started to affect his deliveries as he was covered in blue paint and had started to develop eye bags on his face.

 'Good grief it's like the same thing that happen with Teruhashi when she tried to remember every boys name to keep up her perfect image,Wonder if i should just knock them out whenever they try approaching him so he can get proper sleep '

A week went by of this happening until he snapped . 

His face  fell on the table groaning. You had jumped off his head and onto the table near Tang who was eating a bowl of noodles, the only one who actually has common sense, had noticed his growing tiredness "Wow Mk you look like hot garbage tired ? " Of course the kid protested in response to his question "what me I'm fine...." Honestly though he just started to mumble at the end not a single word leaving his mouth but jumble . 

Once again he let his face fall into the bowl of noodles as bubbles came floating out of the broth from his mouth moving .

Tang glanced at you and you glanced at him as the both of you  watched Mk , his face in uncertainty he then used his chopsticks to pick up Mk's face from the bowl "You're pushing yourself too hard Mk you know working all day, partying all night painting boats its not good for a growing boy you need to have time to relax " 'yeah time to relax and sleep so i can go back to that house and eat coffee jelly before i lose it ' .

Tang then slurped his noodles "I just don't want to let my friends down you know its like i wanna help out at the store do arts and crafts with sandy and party with M-M-MEi but its too hard I'm just one guy "  he said all of this while reflecting his face into the brother like some pond "too bad you can't make duplicates of yourself like Monkey king " ' please don't give him ideas i know from first hand experience what dealing with clones is like ' 

But Mk perked up in surprise "huh ?" Tang then magically pulled out a red covered book and slapped it down on the table before flipping the pages until he settled on one with golden hair and monkey's  drawn on the other page he used his chopstick to point at those specific pages " you know monkey king's 72 transformations , pluck out some hair " he used the chopsticks again and took out a small bit of his hair ....which was unsanitary, put it  in front of Mks face "Blow on it " .

And so Mk did blow, the three of you watched as the hair floated until it slowly fell down onto the ground " And some monkeys pop out " MK sighed in disappointment .

Until it glowed a bright gold it shape shifted into a rock then an egg and then pops  out a similar Mk .

'... how come his clones look exactly like him ?! Mine always look different and weird' 

"Ah yup a perfect clone of you pops out haha exactly like i said would happen " he then started to eat the second bowl of noodles hurriedly  "Whoa holy moly i look exactly like him " both Mk's point at each other  "awww!!this solves everything now i can be at all the places at all the times '' he pushes out both him and the clone out of the boodle shop "Come on birdy!! Let's go and thank's  Mr Tang " flying once again on his head he waves goodbye to tang before the three of you left .

" hmm if i wasn't so relaxed and cool i probably would be really worried about the consequences of this " Tang then slurped his noodles

 'yeah be worried about the consequences cause then i have to deal with them '.

Soon he had started to make a bunch of clones throughout the day ripping small pieces of his hair out.

 Honestly it was getting to the point you had to hit him with your beak  so he wouldn't go bald "Ow ! Birdy that hurts ! Fine fine ill stop ....until tomorrow ! ' he then went and slumped on the bed as you went into the bird's cage he threw the blanket over himself .

An hour goes by 'Well i guess i better be going ' getting out of the cage quietly you were stopped but the tussle of a blanket . 

Looking back MK groaned in frustration "now that the clones are out i can finally sleep but when i want to sleep i just can't ugh ! " he then started to mumble to himself until he got up, went into the messy kitchen and came back with a warm glass of milk and chugged it quickly before laying back down on the bed .

。。。。。。

"Oh come on !! Why doesn't it wor-uh " he was cut off mid sentence as you slapped his forehead with your wing instantly his eyes fogged and he fell backwards to sleep .

Transforming back into your normal form you grab the thrown off blanket and put it over him he smiles and snuggles into it . 

Sighing you look around his apartment '...well it is reasonable it did get this dirty ' with a quick snap of your fingers everything was instantly clean 'finally i can go back '.

Teleporting out of Mk's home you return to the other one,stretching your body until a few pops are heard from your joints 'it's tiring to be kept in a small form but i guess I'm getting use to it '.. 

Walking over to the fridge you open it and take out a coffee jelly and eat with a happy smile on your face . 

In the morning you had gone back to his home in bird form again and waited in the cage until he woke up from his very needed sleep and when he did  you turned around and looked at the wall as he got ready for the day.

After he got his headphones on you went over and sat on his shoulders as the both of you went to the noodle shop down below as he slid in you both were met with the sight of a um,...a  very round Mk eating a bowl of noodles as Pigsy tires to take it away from him and ultimately failing .

Tang slurps up the noodles in surprise by seeing Mk's bald spot on his head "Mk?" Pigsy asks confused as he stares between the round Mk and the normal Mk confused "let me guess this is some sort of mystical monkey business " he states glaring at him .

Mk only laughs nervously "Yeah that about sums it up " Pigsy jumps down from where he stood anger bubbling up as he gritted his teeth but before he could scold him he was then pushed down and crushed under the round Mk " so you gonna clean this mess up " Tang asks Mk only rubs his chin before taking out the staff and starts to poke the round Mk with it.

 " Ahh that was never gonna work , Mr Tang how'd Monkey king get rid of his clones ? " dramatically Tang lifts his glasses up to his face as the light reflects on them " i don't know " 'wow that was helpful , i only get rid of my clones when they want to disappear'.   

MK groaned in frustration until Tang suggest him to hit some pressure point or something like that mk sighs and agrees with it but before he does it he puts his arm out near the table and lets you hop down from his shoulder so you wouldn't get hurt if anything weird were to happen even though you couldn't get hurt that easily .

He raises his arms up pushes the back then in front and a golden circle with symbols appears in it he pushes it to the round Mk.

 Nothing happens for a few seconds until the round Mk explodes into a golden smoke as everything goes blasting by once the smoke clears out brown hair starts to fall which you do side steps to avoid them " well looks like everything's back to normal " Tang states 'I have a feeling you just jinxed it '.

Pigsy groaned his eyes spinning as Mk panics until his phone buzzes with the icon of Sandy on it Mk then suddenly remembers about the first clone he made which went to go help sandy paint his boat " uh gotta go! " he then grabbed you and rushed out the door.

 Making it  there  everything was covered with different colors of paint as the art Mk was laughing crazily using the paintbrush to paint markings on his face while saying uh ear concerning things .

Before he could paint sandy Mk had shouted out "missed a spot ! " the artist Mk turns around in irritation but then poofed away into small strands of brown hair Mk went over to sandy to untie him from the rope he was hanging off of '' Hey Mk mystic monkey business " sandy asks Mk only fiddles with his fingers looking away "haha Yeah " " so how many of those things did you make ? "  'Sadly the kid made a ton shit load  of them enough to make an army ' .

Once again memories flood Mks brain about all the times he ripped a piece of his hair out to make clones " Haha i think that's the last one, oh wait !" 'See now you remember Mei '.

Going back to the area where Mk and mei would hang out he slams the doors open as music blares out of the speakers at the end of the entrance. Was an Mk who wore hot pink sunglasses and a tiger cloak ? As he dj the music " oh~ho og Mk in the house yo !! " he shouted out turning up the volume of the music " i don't even know what that means!! where's Mei? " he retorted back to the party clone who only laughed and stared at him from the edge of his sunglasses .

Suddenly behind him two giant doors opened and out showed a claw machine with a tied up mei " Hey Mk mystic Monkey business.  ? You're really bad at making clones by the way " she shouted as she spun slowly . 

Mk then did tricks with his staff before demanding that the party clone to let her go although he did struggle to word it correctly as they were in a way the same person,of course the clone objected before pushing a button the gravity force then lowered allowing the both of you to float up to where a shit ton of clones were sitting there like bats in the dark . 

"Why did you make so many Mk's Mk ? " "i also question myself that as well Mei '.

And to make things more annoying for you the party clone of so gracefully clicked a button which led to a  cannon opening under Mei the clone then orders the other clones to attack Mk who flys away on his staff the minute they start to punch the floor in the places he used to be .

Like a horde of bees they followed him around while doing so slowly Mei was being let down to the cannon .

Mk then throws his staff to the glass which pierces  it he forces it in more when he kicks the top of it the whole thing ends up breaking allowing mei to fall and then being saved by Mk both of them laugh until the horde of clones come racing through but much to the party clones dismay their all poofed away into a smoke of gold both mei and mk land on the floor safely for plot purposes and because of your abilities throughout all this you had managed to stay on Mk's shoulder .

Stupidly the party clone tries to confuse Mei with the old which is which  game which fails as he had exposed himself immediately with the clothes he was wearing mk jumps up in the air and gose to pooffe  away the clone "Never forget de music " a dramatic tear falls of his face as he turns into a smoke of gold .

"Nice work baldy "  mei imply hands in her pockets Mk only sighs "what was i thinking " 'I dont know- of wait no i do know you were thinking of the pros but not the cons of the whole clone thing' Mei then takes out the balls of brown hair and places one on Mk's bald spot " is it noticeable.? " ' I hate to tell ya kid but that's going to take a while to grow out again '  Mei only responds dramatically while using the other hair  ball as a beard on her chin.

Back at Mks apartment he placed you back inside the cage as Mei reads a book before she glances over to you "Hey Mk don't you think it weird that the bird wears an earring and glasses " Mk perks up and looks at you " ah shit they're onto me '

" yeah that is weird maybe if i just - ow ow !!! " you had hit him  with your beak when he tried to take of the glasses and earring 

'No your not pulling off a Nendo I have no idea what'll happen if you remove my control device and I don't want to turn you into stone "

Mei only laughs at Mk's pain .

Eating a bowl of strawberry fruit you were just relaxing on the couch at 5 in the morning since at night it's the only free time you really have since it's when the kid is sleeping and not out dealing with hungry power demons that you have to make sure don't kill him . 

'Yesh Im a night owl now because of this time  schedule *sigh*  It's been 4 months already since I came here ....... I'm going out maybe i'll find a sweets  shop or something that i can visit whenever the kid is busy' 

Getting up and leaving the fruit bowl it floats back into the sink you leave the temporary residence, walking around.

 Everything was out and bright with neon colors that lit the area with  the fresh night air .

Many people were out and about doing their own thing talking and walking or going into night arcades all the while you tried ,and miserable failed , to keep their thoughts out of your head . 

Finally after making it to a small tea shop that was surprisingly open at this time you sat down and ordered a simple green tea with honey while waiting. 

You looked  out at the window where  the sidewalk was shown  where people would pass by.

Soon after the tea had arrived you drank it in peace .

Until that peace evaporated as soon as it came sadly .

'So this is where wukongs so-called successor is, well the place isn't too bad it's just going to be a pain to find him'. 

Dead panning the cup in your hand was starting to break and your eye  twitched '... its too fucking early for this shit i swear to- whatever i just have to deal with this person or demon most likely before they stir  up trouble'  .

Paying for the drink and walking out, you look around trying to single out the person's thoughts and try to locate them since you couldn't just use clairvoyant since you still were unfamiliar with the city .

Passing by a dark alleyway a familiar voice calls out "Hey! Human over here !!" Looking over was the damned cat that brought you here in the first place , he waved his paw as you walked over hands in your pocket 'what do you want I'm kinda busy right now ' the cat just shrugs off your commentary before taking out a small red pouch as he slid it over to you , picking it up you shake it before looking back at them .

' What is this ? ". "Well since I've noticed you've had a hard time getting proper rest here's some energized pills made from yours truly !! Oh yeah I've been meaning to ask why are you disguising yourself as a bird ? ".

 "Well I just simply ....hate social interactions in general and I find it easier to just sit and observe the kid and his friends . Besides I don't need them bombarding me with questions as to why i have many different abilities that i was simply born with and i dont need to get attached to them since ill be leaving this place as soon as the kid defeats the child posseing demon who's voice always fucking annoys me every damn night . " 

The cat nods in understanding as they continue to ask you questions.

You glanced at the shadows from time to time their presence flickering with movement every so often while also still trying to track down the thoughts from earlier soon the cat asks a very dumb question .

"How's your interactions with the great sage's successor going by the way ! " If it could,it would the question bounce off the walls as an echo for the whole city to hear"wait -no stop talking ``''huh? But why don't you spend 24/7? With the kid- whoa !!" Quickly you picked him up by the collar of his neck like before 'I said stop talking about hi-"

 'oh~ i think I've found a lead ~'. 

"Dammit " "w-what happened ?! Why are you looking at me like that? What did I do!? " the cat started to squirm as you glared at it, taking a quick glance at the shadows. 

There were glowing purple eyes staring at the both of you with a small smile on its face .

Quickly looking back at the cat you just stare at it before it could speak you forced its mouth not to produce any voice 'listen a demons here since you shouted out my relation with the kid so start talking with your thoughts if you don't want me to go through with my earlier threat ' the cat started to sweat as it nodded fast .

From the shadows perspective it only saw a pretty faced male with fluffed h/c haired wearing glasses with a chain hooked on an ear with an earring on the other it held  a black cat with red markings by the collar of its neck as the both of them stared at each other not a sound came from both of them .

'Was  this just a waste of time? I should  Kill them both where  they stand ' .

Sighing again in annoyance you finally rolled your head to the side lazily looking at the shadow, its faint glowing eyes slightly widened in surprise 'can this human see me ?' Blinking you only continued to stare at it until its figure was more noticeable.

It had the form of a monkey that looked exactly like Mk's mentor but it was still hiding in the shadows, telepathically is  when you talked to them . 

You spoked it slightly more than you already had with that .

'...Your short for a demon monkey '

Quickly before it could register what you said in his head  you were gone in the blink of an eye. 

That surprise was instantly replaced with a bubbling anger and annoyance .

"The hell did that human say! .... If I ever see him again I'm killing them on the spot "it slowly sunk in the shadows until it disappeared .

Getting back to the residence you drop the cat on the couch as it starts to apologize for attracting a demon to the both of you but you wave it off calmly 'Well before I go to bed i do still have a question ' " yes please ask and accept it as my apology!."

 'Sure sure I'm just wondering if any demon can make it inside here while I'm gone. I think I pissed off the emo monkey ' "Of course I thought about that possibility so I have put up special seals that repel any demon " it smiled in pride . 

Nodding you go to the room, fall on the bed before feeling the slipperiness take effect and soon you see darkness.

Sitting on Mk's head in bird form you watch him get destroyed in his video game against Mei as she mocks and teases him and sandy trying to give him pointers but just as she's about to finish his character off with a finishing move her phone starts to ring she takes out her phone before leaving turning around she begins to talk to her parents as MK takes the advantage from mei's absants to try and finish off her character instead .

Sandy had gone over to check up on her since she had a dejected expression on her face "Hey you okay there Mei ? " she quickly responded trying to play it off "Yeah yeah! It's just-" she's cut off by the voice of the machine. As MKs character had dealt the final blow to Mei's character .

He laughs out in victory 'as Mei  continued on what she was saying earlier before "it's just that my parents want me to house sit ' "and that's a bad thing ? " Sandy asked questionably and she hurriedly declined the idea "no no uh it's just uh me and my parents well-'' once again she's cut off by Mk as you winged your face for not letting her finish her sentences .

"Well what Meis saying is sleepover at her house !" ' kid i don't think that a good idea from what I can tell with the bull soldier staring at us from the past hour and a half ' .

Before Mei could decline the idea Mk had started to plead for the idea of course Mei had reluctantly agreed to the idea while they were talking you only glared at the Bull soldier that was across the street. 

It only flinched as you stared at it with your small beady e/c eyes . It only averted its gaze. 

Once it swiped the air,images and information about Meis family showed up as it picked a certain image of a green blade as it reported back to princess iron fan you only increased your hearing as she commanded the soldier to retrieve the blade . 

You only kept staring at it as the group left to Mei's house not taking your eyes off it as it tailed  the group until you all made it to Mei's house Mk only stared in awe as he kept looking around with Sandy . 

"Wow everything looks so cool it must have been amazing growing up here " Mei only shrugs as she heads in the direction of brown and gold art " yeah ...uh but when I was growing up I wanted to be tough and rumble look at bugs you know just like normal stuff but when your house is a museum and you come from a long ancient noble dragons that's kinda frowned on ... anyway back to the definitely not terrible sleep over " both Sandy and Mei quickly went to the main door but you had slowly flew over to Mei and sat on her shoulder and chirp .

'I Know what it feels like I also wanted to be a normal kid ' 

Even though she didn't hear what you said She only smiled and pet your head before going over to where Mk and Sandy where  and quickly hat to get in-front of them as the weapons pointed at them getting ready to fire 'damn house security much ' she then inserted a code and all the weapons turned off  " heh ah yeah my parents are serious on the whole security thing "  .

The doors opened and a voice rang out greeting Mei as she stepped in immediately upon entering where a whole ton of artifacts and armor and weapons etc etc to be honest everything looked cool to you as Mei explained what they were until you both heard a crashing sound . 

Looking over Sandy and Mk were  touching everything  and breaking items Mei quickly had to stop a piece of armor of falling and you had to take away the axe Mk and took so he wouldn't accidentally hurt anyone Sandy started to pick up some of the heavier items , you had catched any small items that were thrown and putting them on the floor so they wouldn't break  . 

Mei had snapped and scolded them like children and they stood still as directed them to follow her and they looked over to see the bull soldier tugging on Mks shirt. You try to get him to see the soldier that was  behind them in broad daylight "huh ? Oh ! Are you hungry buddy I think I still have fruit  uh yeah I do !" he had then taken out a small bag and   put a piece of fruit in your beak . 

'No! Mk you idiot look behind !!!' 

He had ignored you thinking you just wanted to play as Mei had started to show around her house starting with the garage and other rooms until the group passed by a room with a golden dragon that held a long green sword that shone in light as it sparkled . 

Mk in awe started to move around it to observe it better he touched the green blade and asked Mei what it was other then a magical cool looking sword  as she explained by pointing to the tapestry behind her "That's the sword of my manny times great grandfather the dragon of west legend says that my grandfather imbued it with imaginable power that gave our family the power to protect them from evil but the power will only show itself to a true member of our clan " . 

Moving back on the tour she then suggested that they go to a game room which both of them agreed to happily but you noticed how Mei only looked at the portraits of her ancestors that hung  all around the room glumly before following after them .

Staying behind you then looked up ‘now to deal with you ‘ heading straight to the bull soldier that hung off the ceiling you attacked it .

it panicked as it quickly tried to attack back but failed as you had avoided its approaches easily, not long after Mei had slid by arms loaded with different snacks as she sang a tune but then abruptly stopped.

 Going back she turned her head to see a bull clone and Mk’s bird fighting although it did look funny as the clone failed, she was pretty angry at the fact there was an intruder in her house. 

The bull clone threw an object your way but you avoided it easily. It had only hit Mei in the face as it then sprinted off with the sword with the little opening it had, she got up instantly and chased after it with you following along in the air .

It sprinted along the hallway crashing through the artifacts that stood in the middle, while running Mei had tried to catch the items that were spared from the earlier bashe.

 You also helped by catching them slowly without her noticing that some of them were floating in the air.

 As soon as she put them down she ran after the clone that had made it to the garage where it once again bashed through the mobiles .

Then had gotten on a motorcycle to drive away as it smashed through a wall , Mei had then whistled and in  came her own motorcycle she got on and gave chase when she did the bull clone had used the blade and cut along the pillars to stop her ‘I’m wondering how the hell her house hasn’t fallen already if those pillars are down ‘ she tried to avoid most of the debris as you used telekinesis to move more of the majority but ended up tripping she screamed in frustration before running after her flying motorcycle and throwing the broken off parts in the air to fix them and jumping on.

She started the engine again as it learned the new program and blasted off farther than normal to catch up to the soldier bull of course that had also meant you had to increase your own speed which was easy but tiring, once she caught up she crashed straight into it allowing for both of them to fall off  the vehicles . 

Tumbling the bull crashed into the floor and she slid until her back hit the wall. The sword had also been thrown in her direction; she closed her eyes prepared to dodge it but nothing came opening her eyes. 

The sword had stopped close to her face as it was gently floating in the air .

Looking up you were holding it with your claws wings flapping to keep in the air .

‘You seriously didn't think I’d use my powers in front of them this soon did you ? ‘

“Thanks ! Buddy haha “ she gently took the sword from you but when she did almost immediately many different voices filled up in her head they were her ancestors voices and since these were her thoughts you also heard them as well which annoyed you. 

But she retaliated against their better judgement “ you know what i am part of this family. I am Mei, descendant of the great dragon of the west sea . This is mine, this is my house  !” She grabbed you and pushed you behind her as she let out a power of green light which shot out straight through the ceiling before turning into the image of a big long green dragon that had frightened the bull clone.

 She pointed the sword's tip at the bull and out shot a green beam that the image had used as a roar it hit and blasted away the bull clone out of the area altogether ‘that ….that was a bit of overly dramatic attack ‘ .

Jumping back down Mk has came out of the game room to tell Mei about the broken ping pong machine but was greeted by the sight of a destroyed hallway “ what happened!” He asked confusedly as he walked over as you gently landed on his shoulder. Mei explains what had happened and he explains how cool it was until he was started by Sandy to direct his intentions back to what he was going to do in the first place . 

‘Kid i only leave for a small amount of time and you already manage to break a game machine ? ‘

He hesitantly tries to explain what he had done before giving up and string off the direction of his previous conversation but was cut off as Mei’s parents had entered the destroyed home Mei had quickly tried to explain why she took the sword from its  stand expecting for her parents to scold her but instead they congratulate her on protecting their home and how she had embraced her family proudly in the end they hugged it out ,

Starring, a weird feeling in your chest blossomed, you’ve never been good with dealing with any type of emotion at all whether it be from yourself or any other person but it hurts just a tad a bit .

‘Can’t believe I’m saying this …..I kinda miss my weird parents .

Chapter Text

Right now you were sleeping on the couch in between Mei and Sandy who were both busy playing video games and talking about the base and how they haven't been in it for weeks “Guys! Pigsy’s missing ! `” Mk came shouting in but you still were asleep as both Mei and Sandy were nonchalant about it.

 “ pshh missing what do you mean he's missing “ Mei was on sitting upside down as she asked him “ I mean he didn’t open up his shop this morning!!” both of them gasp in horror as they all panic which manages to wake you up . 

Blinking you shake your head and rub your eye with the bird wing before a sudden chill runs down your spine that's screaming danger “I suddenly have a bad feeling about the situation right now “Mei runs over across the room and clicks on a button that pops out a green video screen . 

Zooming out of the video image is a scene where pigsy is leaning against a market stand near a lady .

 That manages to calm down Mk who thought he had gone shopping Sandy then questions who was recording the moment before realizing that it had been Tang doing it who was eating a bowl of noodles in which Mk points out that he is also missing .

“I've attached cameras onto all of you guys a while ago, not so creepy now huh is it “ Mei said confidently Mk only raises a brow “ that's still creepy wait does that mean you put one on my bird ? “. She gasps dramatically “of course not why would I place such  a thing on our precious mascot ! Besides, he doesn’t even go anywhere far “ .

“Mm you sure about that  Mei ? Beside if she did place a camera on me I’d just do dumb bird movements to get it off “.

Looking back at the footage it shows Pigsy and Tang both walking in the market shop that was littered in the dark with random items all around them they suddenly looked down as the man hole they were over and opened up making both of them fall down a dirt covered hole that held small purple eggs on the edges . 

Everybody starts to panic once again as Mei tries to zoom in on the last image they saw. She enhanced it before zooming in the image closer as it did it cleared up the image. 

You had flown over to sit on Mks head when you saw the image clearer a spider demon of sorts was what it was.

MK started to gag  “ Eww spider demon come on no yuck i hate spiders i hate hate with their small eyes and feet and furry buts just no- Oh crap ! What happened to the Tv ?!!” Mk yelled out as he looked behind the TV that had just shatters into pieces .

 It had broken  by none other than your psychic abilities that had acted out immediately after seeing the spider demon ,

You had instantly wanted to teleport to the other side of this damn world and stay there until it was over .

“No no no I’m not about to deal with fucking bugs , BUGS of all things ! I’d rather deal with Nendo and Teruhashi. Just no .Author have mercy please don't let me deal with fucking bugs, their brains are too small for me to know what they’ll do !!.” 

“Ok a spider demon has got our friends you know what that means, ‘ teleport to the  other side of the planet and find the biggest bug repellent to spray the living shit out of it ?‘

Suddenly a mysterious voice that did not belong to the author had spoken the next line  

Operation save Tang and Pigsy from the nightmare fuel 

Before you could fly away to the other side of the planet Mk had grabbed you and jumped on to Sandy’s boat that rode off into the sea “where to ?” Mei had confidently taken out her phone before it slipped from her hands. 

You had grabbed it from the air and gave it to her as you landed on her shoulder “Across town! “. She pointed in that specific direction.

Now you’d think that she didn't mean it literally. 

But she actually meant it… LITERALLY!. 

Sandys boat was sailing or well driving across town as both Mk and Mei cheered “Woah !! Rescue mission !! “ while driving and passing by cars that honked as soon as the boat passed by them . 

While doing so you decided to use clairvoyance to see if both the kidnapped victims were either A alive and being turned into small spider sacks ….which you desperately wanted to not happen since that would mean to be around small baby spiders that were doing the job or B their dead .

Well lets hope none of the both were happening. 

Turning around so none of the three would see, your eyes crossed as you used  clairvoyance .  

What turned up was a tide up Tang and Pigsy who were both attached to a giant fucking spider Webb in a damn silk covered cocoon in a cavern of sorts where a green bubble of liquid “You just had to go in their “ Tang sassed “she said she had ingredients “ Pigsy muttered in response “i dont think thats what you were looking for Pigsy” ‘ah so the loving of women hasn’t  changed a bit from the myths ‘ .

Two voices from two cocoons on the other side but they were all interrupted when the MOST GIGANTIC SPIDER YOU'VE SEEN IN YOUR WHOLE ENTIRE FUCKING LIFE CAME CRAWLING OUT . 

Mk turned around to see his bird fallen on the ground as they twitched. 

He quickly ran over to you and started to shake your body “NO! Buddy don't die on me i know you hate spiders too but don't leave me to deal with this alone !! “ he cried out as cartoonish tears ran down his face . 

Clairvoyant was still activated since your eyes were still crossed as you continued to watch the horrific scene the demon climbed over to the both men who were Still trapped in the cocoon on the web “w-what do you want-mmh!!” he was cut off,you gaged, when web’s were plastered over his mouth the demon then started to ramble on about her empire and about Pigsys past question .

After you stopped using clairvoyant you were brought back to the moment at hand which was the boat that was still going through the city until you all crashed into the market stand ‘oh holy cheese were going into the damn spider den- AHHHH!’ As Sandys boat started to drive through the tunnel of hell .

While doing so  from afar you were able to hear what was going on further down in the cave as Tang had stated that Mk would come and save the both of them he demon had retorted in doubt as she left to prepare for her guest Tang had commented how Mk would not fall for any of her traps .

‘Dammit Tang why’ at the same time Sandy boat had come into contact with a tangle of spider webs Mk struggled to get out of them as you were perched on Meis shoulder to avoid all the disgusting spiders on the ground “Maybe you should’ve saved you boat for an adventure with more water “she implied looking at Sandy who scratched his head awkwardly . 

Mk started screaming as cartoonish tears fell down his face about the spiders that were all around especially the one on his head Mei simply walked over and blew it off gently “Mk it's just a little baby spider ‘yeah one that should be wiped from humanity ‘ let's just go and find Pigsy and Tang “ as if a switched turned in his head Mk agreed striking a ‘cool’ pose as he proclaimed that he would use his golden eyes to find them .

When he did he started to whine about all the webs and spiders and you were trying very hard to not let your powers go out of control from the trash eating insects .

MK only pouted on how they would never be able to get through this and by them he actually meant you and him since you were both deathly afraid of spiders and the fact you hated the insect kingdom . 

Mei only patted his shoulder as she used her sword and shouted a green beam through a part of the cave easily while both you and Mk hid behind her looking farther ahead Pigsy and Tang were tied up on the web as they squirmed to get out . 

Precognition had hit you flew over to Mk from Meis shoulder as webs shout out from the air that wrapped around her and dragged her away the sword dropping with an echo, the same thing had happened to Sandy who was now stuck in the web with Tang and Pigsy with Mei. 

Mk nervously held the staff as he stepped back , you sat on his head ready to bring down a fucking asteroid on the abomination of a spider . 

The slick sliding of the web was heard from behind, turning around was the giant spider “don't tell me you're scared of spiders !?” The demon mocked Pigsy, spat off the web that was on his mouth as he shouted “Kid run!!” ‘No need to tell him twice ‘

MK sprinted off as he held the staff in one hand and you in the other in case the demon would take you away like Mei and Sandy .

MK ran until he made it to a spot where the pathways split off as he breathed heavily the demons laughed echoing around as he clutched the staff tight “And you're the kid the Monkey king chose ? “ Her words echoed around the walls as Mk responded, his voice trying to deepen but failing miserably .

“Hey! I'm the monkey man “‘kid, don't lie to yourself besides I’m just about ready to throw the demon to the sun, as you can all  see throwing the things I hate to the sun resolves all my problems really ‘ .

The spider creeped up behind him but before she could deal a strike to send him flying she was suddenly thrown across the space after you hit her dead on with your wing but she had managed to rip a small piece of his hair off with her sharp leg.

‘Yeah no i don't want to be touched by a disgusting insect- wait crap i acted out of reflex forgot the kid was here …oh well i'll just memory wipe him later ‘.

Mk only blinked his mouth open he then glanced at you slowly which in return you only stared back blinking innocently “i-uh how did- Holy noodles !” The demon growled as she stood up Mk fumbled with the staff getting into a fighting stance “Hey you bogo lady !!” Pigsy and the rest of the gang were all behind her as she stood up irritated.

 “Here comes Monkey kid’s friends “ Tang shouted with confidence although that faltered after he shouted out Monkey kid “That’s right we got a catchphrase too!” ‘Well yesh it must have been last minute if Tang fumbled with it ‘ .

“You and your friends are terrible guests! ’Good i hope that's a good enough reason not to bring us back here later ‘  Mei had her arms crossed as she stood on top of sandys boat. “You were going to eat my best friend and also these guys ! ‘Wow caring ‘ well now you're gonna eat this! Mo fire !!” .

 A cannon of sorts sprouts from where Sandy’s cat was laying on as it put its paw over the lever and pulled it after Mei gave him the word a big large red beam shot out towards the demon Mk quickly tried to run over to the rest of the gang grabbing you in the process but tripped- 

‘Seriously author that's like one of the most cliche ways to continue th- Shut up Y/n just move along with the story ‘ 

Ahem as i was saying Mk tripped over one of the spider webs and with that opening the demon came crashing back down behind him MK screams in terror as he dodges all her strikes in a game like fashion sense suddenly as the demon impaield the floor now more time the floor cracked the sound of it echoed around .

The floor then broke as you all fell down the demon had managed to use her legs to stop her fall. Everyone was scheming as you just stayed silent letting the wind ruffle the feathers looking down below was a stream of water Sandy must have also realized this “Water adventure ? *gasp* It's a water adventure!! , everyone come on get on the boat “ Sandy had shouted urging everyone who swam in the air to get to the boat .

The boat had landed in the water as it sped off in a random direction everyone was still screaming as you rested on Mk’s shoulder as the boat increased in speed it crashed through jail bars that blocked the open sea the boat once again crashed into the ocean sea .

Everyone sighs in relief as Sandy whips his hair back elegantly like that once scene in the little mermaid .

Operation rescue Tang and Pigsy a success 

“At least we won't have to deal with her again ‘Mei i swear to heaven and the holy beings in this world that you’re right or else i will drag an asteroid here just for the soul of destroying that insect ‘ 

BUT again you're a psychic so of course you heard everything from down below as the Spider queen talked about her plan .

‘Good grief i guess i will be bring down that asteroid’‘

Chapter Text

Sigh* well shit were inside a gourd" You were perched on the counter in Mk's 'bedroom ' while he slept at this moment in time you were both sucked inside a gourd after two demons used it to bring the both of you inside .

Contemplating on how to get out the room starts to shake ,like last time you didnt move an inch at all but the shake had manage to wake up Mk . 

He sprang up as everything started to fall . He grabbed you and hugged you as he yelled "Earthquake!! Don't worry buddy I'll protect you! " 'appreciate the gesture kid but I'm the one who's mostly protecting you 'after it calmed down he let you go as you sat back down on the counter . 

"Aww all my precious possessions " he pouted at all the fallen objects inside his room until the alarm on his clock rang "I'm late for work!!!" He yelled as he panicked to get ready while he was doing that you stared out the window that seemed to be exactly the same as the one outside this gourd. 

'Huh for a ilusion they made this pretty accurate ".  Mk put on his clothes before finally tying the bandana on his head and he ran out of his room with you following in pursuit he slid in into the noodle shop as he bowed apologizing as he explained what had happened but the most bizarre thing came to be .

'Pigsy' with his back facing the both of you he simply turned around and smiled ?!"why would i fire you " both you and Mk looked at each other in confusion "uh what last time you said if you are one minute late ever again you are fired !!" He ended up acting like him at the end of his explanation.

Pigsy only looked at him in confusion with 'Tang' who only slid over to him and decline that his best friend would never do that they both laughed together as Mk looked at them weirdly until the ground started to shaked again  he turned around and panicked you still faced them as they both glitched together 'okay what the hell ' .

Both of them acted clueless from the shake as Mk questioned them Tang only mentioned that he hadn't the Monday's whatever that is Mk only agreed with them when he realized that he didn't have the staff when he tried to take it out of his ear he ended up falling on the floor as you perched yourself on a table .

"Haha the staff ain't in your ear kid " pigsy implied Mk got off the floor in relief before he asked where the staff was Tang then gave an explanation for it that it was on a hill where he had sealed away Dbk along with his family 'wait what, that escalated quickly'.

Mk also had the same question as he could not remember doing such a thing Tang only implied to Pigsy on how much he was overworking the kid with that in mind Pigsy had declared that Mk would have the day off for today which surprised you both as he would never do such a thing .

But mk simply brushed it off and ran out with excitement "its my first day off in 2 whole years 'wow feel bad for ya kid 'this is a perfect day !'don't say that ' when he said that people from behind had repeated what he said as he jumped in happiness "no traffic at rush hour! " Once again the people behind said perfect .

"Free shoes and cheese tea samples !"  "PERFECT!! ". 'Okay shut up you wannabe crowd talkers  this isn't an old American tv show ' Mk kept saying on how perfect it was as he played games in the arcade , went to get more chess tea samples while he grabbed a bag of freshly picked fruit for you to eat with the crowd following behind screaming fucking perfect for the 5th time today . 

He turned around to them and awkwardly laughed before turning back around again holding his drink while you were perched on his shoulder eating the fruit he had grabbed the ground shaked again as he fumbled to not lose his balance while the crowd from behind glitched once agian, smiles on their faces which one, was weird as fuck and two why the hell was their a man that stood too close behind Mk .

He looked around in a bit of panic and he started looking around confused "Yeah somethings definitely up here but what !? " he put a hand on his chin as he thought of what was wrong until he gasped in realization "pigsy smiled he never smiles i gotta tell Mei !" He sprinted off into whatever direction .

You followed along of course since who knows what the hell this gourd would do .

He had come to a sudden stop , Mei had appeared in front of him. She stood their hands in her pockets with a smile on her face "Hey Mk you good ?" Mk had sprung up in relief "Mei! Oh boy am i glad to see you please tell me you can see them two " the mob from before was still following you both 'I'm this close to just breaking this whole damn gourd but I can't since the kid is here '. 

Mei only grabbed his arm and rushed through the crowd as she declared that they were late for their romantic river date  for two !? 'yesh romance i don't see the point in it i feel sorry for you Mk ' arriving to Sandy's boat cats were magically playing violins the demons have weird common sense . 

The 'date' was on sandys boat "uhh love what you've done with your boat Sandy ...?" Mk was seated at a table with Mei that was covered in candles and flower petals along with a fish as a dinner .

You were perched on one of the wired lights that were hanging on Sandys boat watching the scene unfold cringely. 

Sandys comes sliding in dressed in a waiter's uniform "I finally figured out my true calling boom a romantic cruzar !! Okay i'll be right back with the orders " he slid away as Mk laughed awkwardly"Mei something really bad and weird is going on , I think I'm losing it t-thiers all these earthquakes and pigsy says I beat Dbk a-and everything is all..." he cut himself off .

Mei tucked a strand  of her hair behind her ear as a pink shimmer was her background . She wore a turquoise traditional Chinese dress with small white ordimateds in her hair "perfect ".

'Author also apologizes if they got the dress wrong '

Mk only looks in shock "Oh no it's spreading! *gasp* buddy no come over here i dont want you to get infected too!"  Following his request you fly down and land on his head . 

"Mk there's something I want to tell you 'what the hell is this a cheesy Korean drama ?'since the first day we met " she was cut off as the ground started to shake again she slipped on air and fell forward as she squealed ?? .

'What in the absolute *beep*'.

She landed on Mk who also had to take a step back from her early fall. 

You sat on his head watching this awkwardly with a dead panned expression. 

Mk landed at the edge of the boat he had put his arms behind himself . 

"Mei !"  Mei was now holding onto Mk as she continued "I just cant hold it anymore! Mk I-i love you " .

'Well then if that's how a confession gose then I'm glad I avoided this awkwardness with Teruhashi. ' 

Mk only gagged as he turned around to face the ocean "no - i dont -no ugh " he covered his mouth as he tried not to puke "wait i-i mean um " she glitched as she tried to come up with an excuse. 

Surprising nobody you were able to hear the talking from outside the gourd from the demon twins on the outside As they discussed what to do next with an accent the orange twin then grabbed the gourd and spoke .

"I meant to say ' 'Mei' stopped talking as the ground shaked again for like the 5th time today, she leaned too close for comfort towards MK  ''I love being your friend haha " Mk only made a face as he slid away awkwardly. 

"Uh you know what I-i need to uh f-feed my bird ! Uh Yeah see you later " he turned around to leave "as friends !?" Mei had pointed guns at him .

MK only replied in hesitation "Yup hahah" he then walked away you turned around to face Mei as she laughed "I think i nailed it-uh why is Monkie kids bird glaring at me " 'because i know your a demon, it's not that hard to see through your disguise ' .

Mei only looked shocked as she sputtered in surprise "i -wait what how do '' ignoring her you turned around as MK left .

He walked around pressing himself against the wall of a building until he made it to an alleyway where he stumbled to a trick he ended up hitting himself hard on his back "how ya doin down there ? " Looking up to the direction of the voice was Monkie king who was floating on a cloud with his arms crossed . 

"Monkey king ! Wait a minute, what are you doing here ?" Mk questions.

Monkey king only floated down with his cloud before giving a response "uh you know hanging chilling monkey kinging around uh anyway enough about me what's new with you ? You seem agitated " 'wow this monkey actually checks up on the kid instead on the real one '.

"Well yeah I mean ervyones gone dumb brain . Pigsy gave me the day off and Mei said she ugh " he put a hand on his mouth "loves me ugh I think I'm going crazy " Monkey king only hoped out form his cloud as he landed on the floor "nah you're not crazy this is all pretty normal my powers are just so great that their probably too much for your brain Your Gonna  see some weird stuff, you just gotta accept it  " He had then pulled out a bamboo stick as he pointed it to Mk . 

"Accept it huh " Mk asked with his arms crossed in doubt "Yeah ! Accept it apart from that love part all sounds fine, perfect uh you know if ya think about it 'I think that's out cue to leave 'actually maybe Mei would be like a- uh " when he turned back around you and Mk were both gone from the alleyway .

The fake monkey king only groaned in frustration. 

Mk had walked to a familiar construction site where he first got the staff he took the elevator to get down "this is fine this is fine I can figure this out I'm definitely not going crazy right buddy ?it's everyone else that's gone crazy " he scratched his head before looking up to where on a hill with an orange tree was Monkey king's staff . 

Out of nowhere 'Mei' appeared behind Mk "Mk! What are you doing ? " he only groaned in response " uhh Mei  uh i was just going to take the old staff for a spin ".

"Take it ? You can't take it if you do then the demon bull king will return " Mk tired to back way but bumped into sandy who also appeared behind him "leave the staff where it is dude " Tang then came and implied "oh Mk, you wouldn't want the mean Dbk to return now would you " both him and pigsy had these weird smiles on their faces "why don't we just go back to the shop i'll makes all a nice pot of noodles ".

Now this would be a time where you'd let the plot armor take care of the kid but you are getting tired, besides if you did talk the kid would only think of it as part of this bizarre dream .

'Okay time to get this over with kid ' your voice spoke in Mks mind he stood stiff for a second before looking up at you and screamed "AHHHH!!! My bird can talk !? Wait what no uh that doesn't make sense !? I-" he was cut off from his rambling as the monkey king stepped towards him from behind " you can still have your perfect life " .

Mo then jumped on Mk's shoulder "yeah we can all just hang out "

"Kid, like seriously run!!' Your voice screamed in his head as all the fake counter parts went to dogpile and trap Mk.

 He only screamed while holding you he then sprinted away to the staff 'Mei was about to grab his shirt from the back but you only bird punched her across the face .

Mk only screamed even more in confusion.

 He went to jump to grab the staff but was stopped by Sandy who pushed him down to the floor MK groaned in pain but was still determined to grab the staff .

He reached his hand out by then almost everyone had pinned him down but he still didn't give up. 

Instead he tried even harder and that is harder for the fakes to stop him so to give MK a help all you did was swip your wing .

They all yelped in surprise as they flew across allowing Mk to fully get up and grab the staff .

When he did it exploded into a bright gold . 

On the outside teh gourd started to break as lights of gold sprout from the cracks it broke opened and sent both demons flying across the room both of them then hugged each other in panic as Mk jumped down on the ground he got and sighed as he spun around for a bit before shaking it off .

He looked around in confusion until he heard a noise when he saw the demon twins were trying to sneakily walk away when they made eye contact the three of them screamed "AHH! Who are you !? " he shouted as if the previous panic had vanished. Both demons did some pose of sorts to introduce themselves.

"We're your worst nightmare 'I doubt that' Gin and yin hehe the golden and silver demons !!" But that ended rather quickly as they got into a fit of who's title went first . 

"Ok got it your demons uh what am i doing here " Mk had only sweatdrop to their argument . 

Both demons had then explained why they kidnapped him and that's when a flashback played in his mind before the incident.

When MK had arrived at the place you had already known what was behind the door but before you could cause an 'accidental' earthquake of your own they had already called out Mk's name and sucked him into the gourd with you along with it .

They then started to bluff on how they'd have to destroy MK the old fashion way .

To that remark Mk only agreed as he took out his staff ready to fight and you just glared at them from Mk's head but they both knew they had already messed up when bluffing about that so they took out small brown bags from their pockets and threw them to the floor .

The after effect was smoke that rose after it dissolves. The twins were nowhere to be found until they laughed from behind Mk as they declared themselves the greatest tricksters.

When Mk had arrived back to the noodle shop he first called out their names hesitantly before Pigsy came strolling in anger in his voice "Where have you been Mk !?i've got - " he was cut off as Mk went over to him and started to poke him before  hugging him in relief after he made sure it was the real pigsy .

Pigsy only looked at you confused and in response all you did was shrug your wings "ah sorry it's just I'm really glad none of you are perfect " 'you should have worded that differently '.

They all screamed at him in confusion and irritation as each of them gave their statements about being perfect .

Mk only sighed relief before looking up at you as he laughed "haha although it would have been weird if you really did talk bud "

Chapter Text

Well here you are hiding on a nearby mountain watching MK train with the monkey since MK wouldn't leave without you coming along and because the author decided to skip an episode since they couldn't see plot relevance reason to write it .

 They've been at it for quite some time now actually- 'you mean fighting for the past 3 hours '  you raise a brow looking up at the sky to me which by the way STOP BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL DAMMIT!!.

You sigh and roll your eyes and continue watching Mk train . 

He gets his staff ready and bursts from the ground and goes to attack Monkey king who was standing on a piece of stone before yawning and scratching his cheek MK screams as he readies his staff and swings it .

Monkey king simply vanashis Mk opens his eyes in surprise when he feels nothing hit, he looks up in the air where Monkey king was floating .

Monkey blasts off from the air and kicks his way down to MK who blocks with the staff when he did the small schlock wave allowed rocks to burst up from the floor suprise lay he manages to hold his own against the Monkeys strength even though he is holding back immensely . 

Mk only smirks as sweat drips down from his face , response Monkey king only chuckled and jumps away from the staff from the surprising let go of weight Mk stumbles back but quickly regains his footing he blasts of once more and continue attack Monkey king who takes out a book and begins to read.

While he dodges Mk's attacks it goes on for a minute before Monkey king catches him off guard when he is about to land on the ground and wraps his tail around Mk's leg and jumps into the air with him before throwing him !? .

'What the hell ! Is this Monkey dumber than I thought !' Quickly you use telekinesis to slowly slow down the amount of impact for Mk as your abilities and instincts seem to have adjusted to the fact that you have to protect and make sure he doesn't die . 

Mk groans from the almost hit with stone impact before you let him down with a thump unnoticed by him .

Monkey king comes crashing down " Better way better! Your totally getting the hang of this bud !" He compliments Mk while spinning him around like a baton before placing him down standing up .

Mk  who looks up at him in admiration " really !? " 'yeah you are kid and that makes my job a bit easier ' .

"I mean it does make sense you are getting trained by me now we just gotta work on your focus " He implies Mk flicks hair and stands proudly "Yeah I am the best of-What do you mean work on my focus !? I'm like the number one focus guy !" He shouts in protest .

"Ugh if anyone is number one focus guy it's me 'Now that's sum bullshii-' feeling a meanacing glare from the author you decide to change your vocabulary 'I mean that's a sum bucket full of lies ' .

Mk also agrees with your Inner statement as he retorts back to the Monkey king " What ?! Literally your entire legacy is about you being impulsive and dodging responsibilities!? " Monkey king only backs away when Mk pushes him down only to reveal a card board cut out after taking out his book .

Monkey king only ends up sitting down and eating a bag of peach chips as he tries to come up with an excuse .

"Mmm thats where youre wrong " his voice is muffled by the way he was stuffing his face with chips " That time you ate the immortal peaches you were supposed to guard " Mk asks with a dead panned expression .

"That was a long time ago " Monkey king replies back diggin his bag again for chips "when you kept annoying everyone in the celestial realm " Mk asks again , arms crossed "That's a matter of opinion " Monkey king takes out a chip "That time you picked a fight with Buddha!-" he was cut off when his face was stuffed with a peach chip .

" see that right there's the problem ' what problem? the only one I'm seeing is you avoid his facts ' you stress too much about the negatives 'I don't know how that was ever irrelevant but okay' focus is taking in everything but honing in on the only thing that matters " he plucks a chip into his mouth before continuing .

"Right now I'm talking to you right now while noticing the speed of the wind, the moisture in the air, these 37 email from my lawyer 'must be about you dodging responsibilities' the first 18 seasons of Monkey king the animated series and contemplating the fact that I'm an immortal being who will never be able to die 'that got deep quick ' and that bug over the-".

The specific bug he was pointing at suddenly then bursted.

'Sorry not sorry ' 

 He suspiciously goes back to talking to Mk but not before glancing to your hiding spot before going in  about focus and all that jazz.

 After he's done Mk only looks at him in awe "that sounds super confusing and looks like you're just constantly getting distracted" Monkey king only raises a brow "Or maybe you just can't handle real focus 'I don't think there's such a thing like that '.

But Mk thought differently as you could tell by reading his mind.

 He retorted  to Monkey king's statement and declared that he will do the most focused thing ever , he failed though as Pigsy asks why he has 200 hundred orders that still haven't been delivered .

Mk only laughs hesitantly before trying to come up with an excuse that involved Tang, Pigsy walks away his back facing you and Mk " distraction that's your greatest weakness Mk you need to follow through the task at hand understand " he turns back around only to be met  by the sight of Mk simply feeding you small bits of blueberries.

"Huh?" 'Kid you really should've been paying attention' in response Pigsy throws his wooden spoon at his face "haha thats it im done its over pack your bags you're outta here 'hold up what- Pigsy what the hell no ! If you do that it means the kid is going to have to stay at my place !?'.

"What !? Give me another chance please, I can do better !" Mk shouts as he slides down in bowing position "hmmm" suddenly Pigsy's phone starts to ring with the squeaking of a pig as his ringtone .

He picks up and theirs shouting on the other end with hi responses being short and dry as Mk is still on ground bowing , Pigsy hangs up "Alright fine one more chance " Mk's eye lighten up with relief " But if you slip up even just a little bit " he then starts to search up something on his phone before showing Mk "The delivery 9000 is surprisingly affordable" Mk screams in protest and dread while Pigsy Chuckles.

"NOOO! I'm not gonna let you down Pigsy I'm going to have to focus like i've never focused before " while saying this he pulls off a pose with gold flashing behind him . 

But as he goes to leave you peck  his head , he looks up at you as you tilt your head to the noodles that were still on the counter .

He laughed awkwardly as Pigsy stood their hands crossed and all " He delivers noodles literally everyday how is this sudden!?- ugh 'it's probably because of plot purposes ' Pigsy only shakes his head . 

Mk gets on his vehicle and puts in the directions on his phones GPS before starting the engine to leave, he rides off for a bit before stopping at a red light " Ok do just like monkey King said Focus take everything in lights, street sign, amazing awesome arcade filled with the best games in the universe~" he looks over to said arcade before shaking his head to get back to what he was doing.

He yells out on how he has to focus and all that stuff well he gripped the steering wheel before a flash of the fun games started to appear in his head.

 Sweat dripped Down his face as he tried to ignore the eagerness to go and play .

'Kid no ! - ' he gives in  and leaves his vehicle he starts to place coins in each of the machines he played in while you were trying to tug  him by the back of his shirt back to the vehicle "I'll go back in a bit bud it's just a few games ! 'Yeah but if you don't deliver the noodles I'll be stuck between social conventions to have to let you live with me !'.

Machine after machine game after game he kept playing and playing you just gave up and sat on his head watching him waste his time away after a solid hour and a half he had to realize he had lost his focus once more he started to panic having imaginary thoughts about how Pigsy is going to fire him and such.

His determination to not lose focus once more comes right back up as he's about to leave a guy in the uniform comes with him with a ball of tokens as he innocently asks that he  had more for him only for MK to swipe away the token bowl  and leave running . 

Of course you helped the employee pick them back up before flying over back to MK who was now on his vehicle, he zooms by every single place racing to go deliver all the noodle orders while contemplating why the hell this is happening " what is happening! I can't let Pigsy down I-I just need to concentrate just to make up for lost time. I can do it, nothing is going to stop me!-Ah !" .

Suddenly a soccer ball hits Mk's face straight on. He stops the vehicle and grabs the soccer ball " hey, hey watch it!"  Three kids, each with different hair colors, apologize in the most pathetic attempt at voicing a kid instantly, You could tell these people were definitely demons by the way they acted.

They happily asked MK if he would play with them since they needed a third player to play with them Mk only awes at them "Aw I really wish I could but, but if I do" once again images of him playing soccer with the children come up in his head until they send me change to where the running into the sunset and an  angry Pigsy then  pops up. 

Following after that is him walking away with MK on the ground reaching out for him next follows the delivery about 9000 there in his head replaces him with his group as he's outside of the shop soaking crying in the rain finally a scene shows up where it marks his grave and that he had died from a lack of focus. 

' yesh  kid no need to be dramatic about all of this , this is only happening because of plot purposes for this one episode' Mk gasps after he snapped out of that " I have to make this delivery You are just wanna trick me into staying here forever haha  and I'm not falling for it! " he throws the soccer ball onto the ground before laughing crazily. 

He starts the engine once more and drives off his  laughter echoing around 'good going kid those children were  demons anyway I mean seriously what's up with them and impersonating children' .

He screams and determination as he passes by the arcade once again screaming no as he goes and delivers all the noodles.

 At one point he was about to be intrigued once again into buying cheese tea but you had pulled his hair and he snapped out of it and continued driving but that failed as he had gotten in line and bought a tea along with a small bag of mango fruit for you . 

"Dang it!! Come on Mk You've fought deadly demons and survived active volcanoes!' yeah because of my help ' and faced Pigsys wrath on a Monday " he takes out his phone " you can easily do a 5000 block delivery in 10 minutes I can do this!" he exclaimed. 

He grabs his chin while facing the cliché dilemma of taking the hard and terrifying road or the happy-go-lucky safe road.

 He rubbed his chin while thinking first he looked at the safe road before turning his head to the terrifying road "hehe  I think we all know what the obvious road is aren't I right buddy 'no no you're not'.

For some reason in his head he didn't understand why taking the terrifying Road was a good idea because now you have to protect him while also making sure he delivered his goddamn noodle order. 

As he drove through the terrifying road all the trees seemed to have similar terrifying faces on them. 

They all glowed a  red hue "I should be getting close, I'm so far away!" 

Press on the brakes on the vehicle and it stops with a screech " i'm never going to be a master of focus! I'm not giving up just do do  want monkey king said first, take everything in 'Kid dont do that ' Trees yeah, random skeleton that I i'm definitely going to report to the police later yes ' this is why you should've took the safe road' Spooky pathway that will inevitably lead me to my doom,  yup" 

" check yup noted Ahhh!I think I took too much in AHHHH!! " he once again screams in panic as his phone ringtone goes off 'Seriously  kid does everything you own  have to be monkey king themed' . 

He answered Pigsys calls which  by the way does not help the situation by informing him about what the bot 9000 does while talking , the branches of the trees start to move towards Mk .

Mk's voice manages to pick up on the call  which concerns Pigsy and Mk comes up with a lie  saying that he's breaking up before ending the call you had  managed to peck away at any of the branches that managed to make it to MK not wanting to show your strength once more. 

 Mk's thoughts scream inside your head as they imagine that the trees are talking to him repeating what Pigsy and monkey king were saying before you decided to put him out of his misery by changing his course of thoughts to what monkey King actually meant. 

When doing so he started to have a pep talk with himself about how he wanted to deliver these noodles . 

One final time he screams it out as he wraps his arms away from the branches I had managed to grab as a size glow a golden hue, the illusion of the talking branches and terrifying road cracks and breaks revealing a normal looking road. 

He cheers in relief hugging you "haha I did it I did it buddy I did it! I shut everything out except the only thing I wanted to do . I also managed to summon monster trees with my stress so I should see a doctor about that' yes ,yes you should because that is also concerning for me.'' Well worry about that later, all right I'm a master of focus haha let's deliver some noodles".

He puts on his headphones and pushes the gas on the vehicle and continues on the road after the whole thing everything just became peaceful while he drove you calmly ate the mangos he had bought you while he drank  his smoothie as he nearest destination he passed by a tree in that tree came the noises of a monkey 'oh no oh no no no no no frick ,its the monkey isn't it '.

Getting closer to the destination  you both passed by shrines with monkeys all around playing on the buildings, one going over the vehicle Mk stopped by on the road as he shouted focus before he ran to the destination that was already very near .

Before going back to grab the bowl of noodles he had forgotten.

He busted open the doors and standing right before him was monkey King..... dang it.

He casually said how well he had made it before MK confusedly said his name trying to figure out how it was him before theorizing that this was all a task and a test on how well he could do on focus and which in  reality it really wasn't. 

Monkey king hesitantly followed along before confidently agreeing with him trying to get away from the fact that he only ordered three bowls of noodles for himself at his Shame temple ...why it's called that I don't know.

Mk then goes on a rambling on how monkey King was accurate on how he was pretty bad at focus. 

Monkey king just simply grabs the noodles and looks inside the bag. 

On the other hand you were trying desperately to avoid his attention by hiding behind Mk's shoulder as you had no time to fly away to hide from the monkey.

By the end of the monkey King price is in my purse that bubble by implying that his order was wrong MK put on a dotted eye expression. 

'Did you really have to burst the kids confidence like that'

Chapter Text

Why won't she just shut up !!!' You grabbed your head in discomfort as the Lady bone demons whispers echoed in your head endlessly.

Needless to say, the thoughts of other people around certainly did not help .

Flinching you hear an explosion go off near the burial 'UGH! Why i-why ! That demon doesn't need anymore damn power than he already has freaking -'.

In frustration you scream in your pillow as the demon bull king screams in anger, punching the coffin when he wasn't able to get it open.

Now you really wish you brought that damn ring along while also having the chance to go over there and punch the demon in the damn face but nooo that damn cat specifically said ,their words not mine, .

'I only summoned you here to help, not solve every situation. The great sage's successor comes by if you do anything that absolutely destroys his enemy . I think that destroys any chance you have at going home since you're not the hero of this story '.

Oh how you wanted to throw the cat out of orbit at that moment .

The demon bull king continued to punch and scratch at the coffin before delivering one final blow that made a shock wave . 

Princess Iron fan tried to calm him down but that didn't work since his mind screamed and begged for more POWER instead he only gave her an attitude. 

Which by the way even if you are an evil super villain that gives no right to disrespect your wife don't do that kids. .

She then gave it a try to open the coffin more peacefully which minimized the terrible headache you have but failed to open it . 

She advised the demon bull king that they need an artifact of equal strength to open it and that's when Red son comes in .

He opens up a red screen and scrolls until he makes it to a specific one in which he explains is what they need . 

After everything it calms down , even though Lady bone demons whispers were still there they grew fainter and quiet .

You sighed and shut your eyes tightly as small droplets of pained tears came from them .

Wiping them off you massage your head before the growing feeling of sleep comes over you .

Blinking you were finally able to sleep .

In your bird form you were sitting on Mei's shoulder watching Mk receive the key to the city ....inside Pigsys noodle shop for some reason .

As the mayor declares the good deeds Mk's done the only one who actively cheered was Mei you on the other hand only clapped your wings in an attempt of an applause.

The mayor moves his body in an awkward way before handing a suspicious looking key to Mk who holds it .

When he does, a small wave of blue light comes from Mk as his eyes turn blue as well but nobody bats an eye.

You look at Mei surprised at how she didn't notice that or the other two who were presented .

" um uh what does this key do exactly" MK asks scratching his head the mayor only leans his head on palm and answers.

"Oh well you'll love this, it has the power to open anything " Mei suddenly jumped over the stand near the mayor's face .

When she did you were still on her shoulder when she got closer you were able to be face to face with the mayor .

His eyes were whitened out as he directed his gaze to you with a creepy smile you only squint your eyes back . 

"Anything ohh! Like a pet shop full of puppies ~" Mei asked happily, the mayor only had sweat dripping down his forehead .

"Yes or the door to a lion's cage or an orphan's piggy bank, an imprisoned Mystic power source or whatever you'd like!" 'Why do I feel like that last comment was foreshadowing '.

He then explained that Mk could do whatever he'd like with the key before cackling like a maniac and  disappearing in a blue smoke.

"I'm beginning to think that that's not the mayor, " Mei implied, ''you face winged 'you're realizing that now'.

Mk looked at the skeleton key in  awe as he held it " A key that can Open anything' he whispered.

'Oh god ' Both Mei and Mk looked at each other's bodies shaking in excitement .

With the power of plot convince you three were now in a different place as Mk held the key out in which it transformed shape as a circle symbol sprouted from under him . 

Many doors came passing by each a different color or design as they both stared at them in amazement "you ready for this ?! 'Honestly no ' .

He grabbed Meis hand and dragged her down a door with you along for the ride sitting on his head as usual. 

Both of them laughed as they had now appeared at the arcade .

Both of them started to play games but ended up losing.

They both groaned in disappointment as an image of a locked door appeared on the screen Mk leaned over and squinted, rubbing his chin before taking out the key . 

He placed the key over the card sliders in which it then turned into a card of its own placing it on the locked door the screen unlocked; they both cheered in happiness after they finished the game . 

And tickets came sprouting out, once again Mk grabbed her arm and off the three of you went to the next location which was behind a truck that had a cargo full of puppies and a tiger.

This kept going on to a shoe store where Mei happily got shoes with Mk carrying the rest , back to the nightclub where Mk played dj .

The weather station in the water park , racing on the track that the Author didn't write about .

Gaining Stuff animals and ice cream which you really enjoyed that bit , bowling and then the two of them taking pictures like celebrities .

During that one part Mk thought it would be a good idea to place the key near his head 'wait no -! ' Suddenly you were able to see his astral projection form with blue rings around . 

A giant six armed Mk was holding his spirit form that only lasted about a second before mk snapped back into reality you were a little dizzy from that but quickly recovered .

" Mei , Mei ! Look, hear me out, we know the key could magically unlock anything but maybe it can also magically lock anything too!!" Mei only deadpanned .

"You literally just described all keys " you shake your head in agreement.

"Okay yeah sure fine but do you know what this means 'no i have no idea ' having this power it's so much responsibility  but i know what we need to do " he spinned the key in the air dramatically as it glinted in the sun .

  Pigsy whistled as he put down the bag of groceries on the ground before taking out a set of keys he bent down and tried to unlock the door  but failed to do so  .

He grunted and pulled his sleeves up he put his hands under the door and tried to lift it but ended up cracking his back .

He ran, sliding across the street. 

He failed to stop and ended up crashing into a garbage pile and went to the back door and air kicked it but that also failed. 

He fell down on his back as his eyes turned into swirls .

He then got back up and pounded on the door before pulling on the door knob that had fallen off. 

He pressed his face against the small round glass window on the door "Who's in there !? Let me into my noodle store !!.

He then proceeded to rage outside pulling at his towel that he had around his neck while Mk and Mei giggled on Mk's balcony .

"Haha I-I wish we had this key all the time haha i dont think ive had this much fun in forever "

You ducked down quickly as a fire bursted from Mk's window sending both Mei and Mk down along with the Key "Noodle boy finally " Red son came out appearing from the smoke with a grin on his face .

"What are you doing in Mk's house !?" Mei asked MK had slid by her as you flew down on his head "You better have not touched my stuff or my birds items as well !!'.

"Do you know how long I've been waiting here !?Your house is depressing as well as your bird's cage. It's so small I'm surprised it can manage to live with you !i almost feel bad taking things from you but  I'm going to need that magic key " he pointed out his hand lit up with fire .

As he levitated the key with it Mk went to try and jump up to go and grab it but failed. 

The key had then made it into Red Son's hand "Yonk ! Hehe So long noodle boy " he then bursted into a fire and left until he made it into his vehicle that was hidden in the shadows .

"Oh no ! The key " Mei only whistled and out came her motorcycle she jumped on it as it moved beside her and raced off after him leaving Mk behind .

"Wait for us !!" He shouted in distress " No man it's all good i definitely don't want a ride it's totally fine come on bud will go ourselves " he took out his staff from his ear as he spoke sarcastically.

Mei was chasing down Red son who only drove through the road calmly pushing away any car that was in his way while listening to music. 

He then noticed Mei who was behind him who then jumped in front of him with her sword out .

"Cant you and your peasant friends let me plot in peace !? Just one time !" He shouted from his vehicle his hair lighting up on fire. 

Mei only laughed "haha red flames are cool you wanna see some green ones !?".

She then began chasing him at a faster speed in which he picked up on .

You and Mk were both hopping around on his staff that would enlarge to give a boost while doing so you both saw Mei and Red son driving by fast .

This surprised MK who was about to fall off his stick that enlarged one more time before piercing the ground and launching the both of you high into the air as he screamed .

When the staff was about to hit the ground it hit directly to where a couple was standing professing their love. 

The staff hit the ground in between the both of them as Mk clung to it tightly before launching again "Sorry!!!".

Both Red son and Mei we're still chasing each other in the city with their vehicles "stop moving !!!" He shouted trying to crush Mei with his vehicle.

 She only dodged " Isn't this getting boring us beating you all the time you know we're going to get that key back right " Red son only screamed in anger .

Before clicking on a button and pressing harder on the gas pedal allowing for the vehicle to turn to directly face Mei.

 He clicked on another button which allowed him to let go of the top part of his vehicle that was sent flying towards Mei .

She dodged a piece of it before jumping off her bike and on pieces of car parts sword in hand as she cut threw the top part and landed on the ground as Red son drove farther away .

"So long dragon horse girl haha here's a tip next time pick one animal and- 'watch down below firecracker ' .

He was cut off as he was crushed with Mk's long staff that had grown in size, sending Red son tumbling down the road as he lost his grip on the key .

MK landed on the ground and picked up the key "Looks like you've reached the end of the line Red son what were you going to do with this anyway ?" He asked, twirling the key .

"Why spoil the surprise " Princess Iron fans voice spoke out as she stood on top of a roof top. Red son looked at her in relief "Now hand that over and quit wasting our time ".

Mk and Mei looked at each other and got up ready to fight before blasting off from the ground to attack her .

Princess Iron fan simply put out her hand when Mk went to strike her with his staff with an opening. 

Mei jumped off from the wall behind her and tried to attack her from behind but Princess Iron Fan only dodged to the left .

Before taking out her fan to block MK's kick.

 This went on for a bit ,both MK and Mei attacking Princess Iron Fan while she only blocked with her weapon before she delivered her final blow sending the two of them crashing against a wall .

Mk ended up dropping the key on the floor before Red Son could grab it.

 You flew down quickly and grabbed it with your claws 'yeah no I'd rather not listen to a demon's whispers all night ' .

" ugh! You stupid bird get back here !!" He screamed he got up and went to go attack you with his fire.

 You only simply flew higher but felt Princess iron fan get behind you with her weapon out ready to strike .

Of course this would be easy to dodge but you couldn't do so without blowing your cover 'ah this is going to sting ' so you allowed her to hit you hard .

You ended up hitting the ground with a hard crash. 

The key flew out once more as Red Son grabbed it "Buddy !!" MK screams out in worry .

"Come along Red son we have things to do " he slid next to her "thanks for the key losers !!" Princess iron fan only shakes  her head as the both of them disappeared in a tornado of wind .

Mei got up from under the rumble "Did they get away with the key ?!' She looked around and saw MK who also crashed down on the floor as he scrambled to get up .

He rushed over to you who was standing up tiredly from the small crater that had formed underneath you 'ow well not really ow but that's going to leave a small bruise ' .

He picked you up gently but quickly as he panicked almost in small tears as he checked on you .

"Oh no!! Buddy are you okay !? Speak to me !! Mei what are we going to do !! What if he broke something !!" He kept panicking as Mei came over and checked on you slowly with her hands .

You were fine for the most part. 

The only injury they were able to see was the small scrape on your back "hmm don't worry Mk he's going to be fine just a small bit of bandages and he'll be good as new !".

He only looked at her in doubt with small tears prickling in his eyes "o-okay if you say so .."

Mk had gone to Tang who had helped patch you up as he also lectured Mk on how it was mostly dangerous for a bird to be around danger and battle.

 Mk only nodded while holding you close .

When the both of you returned to his apartment he looked around his half destroyed room and sighed before placing you gently in the birdcage.

He grabbed the handle and brought it closer to his bed and grabbed a blanket he covered himself in. 

Before sitting down on the part that wasn't destroyed he put down the cage and leaned on it as he fell asleep .

"Good night bud ...sorry for letting you get injured " .

The small slow breaths were heard from him .

You  only opened the cage slowly before getting out standing there. 

You let yourself slowly transform back into your normal .

E/c eyes glowed softly in the dark as they stared at the sleeping boy.

 You only sighed internally before looking at the small bandages that were slightly wrapped around your back .

'....He's not a bad kid . '' You used restoration and turned back time on his apartment from a  day ago and gently lifted him up with levitation and set him down on his bed along with the birdcage on  the nightstand. 

You flinched and quickly turned around to face the window that had let a small glow of moon light seep into his room .

You bit your lip 'shit '.

The whispers of the Lady bone demon intensified as the lock to her tomb was unlocked as it bursted open her whispers went silent.

"₣ⱤɆɆĐØ₥"

Once again her whispers grew louder as her laugh combined along with the demon bull kings as her spirit entered that of bull soldiers .

You looked back at Mk who slept peacefully on his bed .

'...well shit kid i guess that means i'll have to protect you with everything i've got '.

Chapter Text

Once again you were hiding in a corner of Monkey kings cave watching Mk banging an old stone wall with a hammer "You know when I found out I was going to be trained by the monkey king, great sage equal to heaven, I had no idea I'd be stuck here hammering walls !! 12 hours a day Why am I doing this again !?" Mk shouted as he threw away the hammer .

Monkey king was simply laying down on his cloud arms behind his head "AH so i can make a nice little breakfast nook get up some light up in here 'or the fact you're trying to teach him training in everyday items like every single one of these cliche teachers '.

"But I'm meant to be monkey kid not construction boy how am i supposed to do the hero stuff if i don't know the fight stuff " Mk shouted "Oh~ so you wanna know the fighting stuff huh " Monkey king then slammed down the staff onto the ground as he kelt .

"Like this " Monkey king's eyes glowed a bright gold before he spun the staff behind him and threw it to an excited MK who only ducked the staff then smashed its way through the wall behind Mk dust rose up in place of air as Mk covered his face with his arms .

"Huh ? Woah , Yes !!exactly like that i am ready for some awesome-" Mk was cut off my Monkey king's laughter "hahah look bud you can't rush this stuff you just need practice " Monkey king spins the staff until he holds it on his back .

"But this isn't practice " Mk said , he held the hammer that appeared as an example Monkey king only groaned "I'm never gonna teach you something you don't need to know okay " MK only pouts  angrily and looks away 'Wow that monkey really should have worded that better '.

"Okay now this priceless muriel isn't going to destroy itself so remember to step into the strike " He was then cut off by Mk's phone .

When he picked it up the contact image showed Mei but you noticed that his phone screen was broken 'so now i need to fix that too ? I'm surprised his phone hasn't shattered completely '.

He answered Meis call "Mk we really need your help " Mei asked she then showed the giant purple monster behind her Mk only smiled smugly "a monster is attacking the city that's terrible, dang guess i gotta go down some boring hero stuff instead of this okay bye !! " Mk ran off .

You stayed behind for a bit before turning around and looking at Monkey king who already was looking at you glaring "i don't know what the hell you are but i swear- " you didn't let him finish and teleported away .

'Yeah yeah I'd rather not hear a speech from you ' .

You then reappeared on Mk's head the minute he made it next to Mei , staff in hand "what did i miss? " he asked with a small grin "Mk what took you so long ?!"Mei asked .

Mk only scratched his head sheepishly "sorry Monkey king was making me do boring stuff. Is that the bad guy " looking up as the ground shaked was a giant purple person ?? Honestly you weren't even sure what it was .

"Okay be right back, here comes monkey kid! " he pushed himself off the fortune with his staff ignoring Mei's attempts at stopping him

He then screamed in panic when his leg was grabbed by one of the purple monster strips of fabric before being thrown against the ground 'you should've tried and listened to her '.

Of course since you were with him you slowed down the impact like always.

 He let out a small grunt as Mei made a noise of pity "ooo yeah we tried that " next to him there was another crater with Pigsy in it and his wooden spoon .

'How did he think a wooden spoon was going to defeat  that ?' Sandy only looks away with a hand on his forehead as he dramatically puts a white napkin over Pigsy .

Suddenly a shadow comes flying overhead and starts jumping over rooftops towards the giant Purple monster, Mei only squints her eyes " Is that- ".

 'emo monkey ? ' "Monkey king?!  " both you and Mk think at the same time .

The black haired monkey jumps overhead directly in front of  the sun before landing on another rooftop, placing down a purple staff before chuckling and twirling it behind him; he only smirks  as the purple monster goes to attack him .

He spins the purple staff from his left to his right before just pointing it to the monster.

 What let out from his staff was a tornado of purple wind that blasted away the monster 'That wasn't even an attack !? The hell !' .

Mk along with sandy and mei had to hold their ground protecting their faces from the wind that carried rocks and ruble the monster then turned into a small purple cloud before flying away .

Mk only stares in awe at 'Monkey king ' before trying to go and climb the building where he was standing on .

No no no kid no i dont want ot deal with a trauma dumping emo monkey !!You tried and pulled his shirt with your beak but failed as he had made it to the rooftop . 

"Yes! 'NO' Monkey king! 'nah that's emo monkey '" you may or may not have pulled him hard with your beak as he slipped and fell .

The black haired emo- i mean monkey turned around to leave but was surprised to be met with a boy with brown hair and a bandana staring at him with awe  along with a h/c bird that sat on his head glaring at him .

"That was awesome!''he didn't even do anything !? ' I can't believe you came back to-*gasp* oh this is awkward 'you think !? ' You're not the monkey  king 'good grief kid really i never would have guessed '.

The monkey just laughed before crouching let his tail flick around  "ha i get that a lot Monkie kid right? ' yes yes he is now back the hell away you little- ' okay i think that's enough of that .

Mk only looked at him in awe of being recognized " how did you-? " At this point you were screaming inside your head but were not going to look in their right now .

"Your staff kinda gives you away dude , not just anyone can wield that" 'you wanna test that  theory with your head ?!' . 

"Uhh right, who are you ? 'Shadow the hedgehog that's what ' .

The monkey only laughs before standing up and crosses his arms over his chest " Macaque 'why does that sound like McDonald's for some reason ?' Actually the uh  six eared Macaque is you know my full name , well see you around Mk nice bird you have there by the way ...it reminds me of someone " . 

He only smiles at you while you narrow your eyes he then turns away .

Mk whines and follows him much to your dismay " can you teach me that awesome Thing! 'no no no-'.

He gets close to Macaques face, stars in his eye along with an admiring atmosphere'...if he corrupts  this kid I'm sending him to the moon ' .

" ha dont you already have a master 'yes he does but he sucks ' I thought Monkey king was training  you ? " Macaque asked as he leaned away from the admiring Mk "oh no yeah yeah he is um  " Mk scratch's his head looking away .

"But you can't ever  have too many teachers right I'm sure Monkey would agree it's not like he'd wanna hold you back " he explained "um yeah yes he totally be cool with it " Mk replied confidently . 

Macaque chucked before trying to sling an arm over Mks shoulder .

You dont allow him .

You slap his arm with your wing and glare; he only stares back in surprise as Mk apologizes for saying that his bird usually isn't like that .

Back in a run  down dojo Mk flys back against a row of staff and weapons as it breaks on impact you manage to dull the sharpness of the  weapons as you were perched  on one of the lights watching the both of them fight .

Macaque only pointed the purple  staff at him once Mk landed on the ground with a hand on his hip "hmm not bad haha don't get me wrong but I was kind of  expecting a little more from someone with your power " he says 。

"Hey i've got more , i can give way more than that, I can do better " Mk responds back "Okay maybe show me next time " Macaque turns away the purple weapon on his shoulder .

He continues  teaching Mk on how to wield the  staff better as you watch to make sure he didn't do anything that crossed your line .

Hearing his thoughts also helped keep the monkey in check.

 "Stop holding back , stop trying to be nice, the first strike should be your last strike every time you attack, give it everything you've got " Mk grits his teeth as sweat rolled down his forehead before he pushed harder the purple symbol on his back lights up .

You would fly down there and remove it but you couldn't since you weren't the hero of the story .

There's only so much you could interfere with  to not mess up Mk's story .

" Other people are going to tell you to be patient, " Macaque explains .

Mk kept hammering at the wall while Monkey king laid on his cloud eating peach chips "Patient and focus 'you should really stop saying that ' step into the strike !" 

" They are only slowing you down, you have power inside you use it " Mk throws a purple chain through gritted teeth as you could only watch.

 Macaque kept  glancing at you from time to time his thoughts swirl inside your head .

"Take the power and destroy, ! Remember you don't use a weapon, you are a weapon !!" .

MK throws his staff with great force as purple lightning emenits from him and it smashes through the wall .

Monkey king's jaw fell down in shock  as his chip left his hand .

The wall was almost completely destroyed from Mk's attack 

"Woah ! How'd you learn to do that 'oh i don't know maybe with someone who i despise right now but wont lie that he's actually teaching the kid stronger attacks ' *gasp* Have you been running off with other mentors !? " Monkey king leaned into Mk's face as he exclaimed.

Mk only turned around with you still on his shoulder. 

His bangs hid his eyes with a shadow " Patience and focus isn't what you said " Mk explained .

"Look kid using that much power your body can't handle it ' he does have a point though ' .

"You just don't like that there's someone who's actually teaching me what I need to know !" MK walked away as his back faced Monkey king, the purple symbol lit up once again .

You decide just this once to actually be the first to try and talk to the monkey .

Monkey king was surprised when the bird Mk loved dearly pointed at the symbol before pointing to him .

He had figured out surprisingly what he meant .

A purple monkey .

The only other person he knew that was a Monkey was Macaque .

Mk sliced through his last obstacle as the purple symbol on his back glowed as it almost filled up the whole thing . 

He knelt down as he puffed from the training sweat droplets hitting the ground Macaque put a hand on Mk's shoulder "hehe you're ready " he said .

"Ready for what ? 'For his little game ' . 

I guess you'd have to interfere after all . 

Macaque led Mk to a broken down shrine with overgrown plants , the atmosphere all gloomy and dead as he explained that the monster from  before lived there " demon is actually ancient and a really powerful one , we need to destroy it once and for all ! Come on ! " he pushed Mk's back towards the demon . 

"Wait what? last time i couldn't even hit it " Mk explained doubtfully . 

"Yeah totally but since then you've had me teaching you , you're stronger now don't you feel stronger " he exclaimed , his arms were out for more of a dramatic effect.

Mk only hugged  his staff in uncertainty glancing at you .

You moved a little closer to his face from where you stood on his shoulder . 

"I guess " he mumbled Macaque puts both of his hands on Mk's shoulders and gets a tad too close for your liking "Remember your the weapon '...the hell he's not ' give it everything you've got !".

He then pushes Mk towards the monster  he breathes in a breath of nervousness " here comes Monkie kid " he spins the staff for a little .

The purple symbol glows once more before he jumps into the air .

Macaque only smirks with his arms crossed .

The purple monster looks up at Mk, his scarf like tentacles ready to attack , Mk yelled in determination before trying to pierce the demon straight on a purple force sprouts from the monster trying to stop it and Mk trying to go through with it .

" I am the weapon !!" He screams out in determination..... which if you're being honest it's usually not  a good thing .

You see the purple symbol fill up completely 'okay time to get to work i honestly did try to keep the bird form ' . 

The purple monster then spins until it becomes a replica looking of Macaque before it becomes smaller to reveal the normal looking Macaque,

Mk stares in shock as his staff had enlarged to pierce through the monster that had disappeared. 

Macaque only looks at him with a smile as one of his eyes glows purple he heads straight for Mk about to punch him in the stomach .

So really you don't like people who take advantage of others much . 

Mk disappeared. 

What replaced him was you in your normal form .

Macaque's eyes widen in surprise before he could get a word out, you axe kicking him on the head sending him straight down with force  .

Of course you still held back immensely since you had to let Mk defeat him not you .

The staff returns back into a normal size as you grab it in mid air before teleporting back to  where Mk was .

Who was confused, he blinked rapidly before seeing a pretty s/c person standing in front of him .

 You twirled the staff before placing it down straight up still keeping a handle on it .

Macaque grunts as he stands up and glares at you before scoffing with a laugh "haha so my hunch was right ! You are that bird !" . 

You only stared at him dead panned before raising a brow 'yeah i am so what of it ? You tried to manipulate the kid. oh yeah by the way ' the symbol he had put on Mk's back appeared in your hand .

The symbol then crushed in your hand as you closed it tightly opening it again it was crumbled as a low flicker of yellow light glowed from it .

Macaque only glared at you as you had  a small sadisfied smile on your face . 

The wind blowed softly from the top where all of you stood your back still faced Mk who only stared as he was still on the ground .

The earring you wore softly swayed Mk squinted his eyes to the earring .

Realization hit him like a truck . 

"W-Wait ! Your m-my BIRD?! I-I wha-How-?! "' I'll explain later right now we- or well you have to take care of an emo-Watch out !! ' . 

A shadow clone of Macaque appeared behind Mk with a smile on its face. 

It reached out for him and formed a claw motion with its hand before quickly pressing it against Mks back . 

He gasped from whatever it did.

'Crap !!'

You quickly went over and punched the clone, again holding back you didn't want to hurt the kid , but you failed to reach surprisingly as it vanished inside the shadows your fist had instead made contact with the stone wall behind it creating a small crack before it spread .

Macaque's laughter rang out "hahah ! You know you are a good kid, super nice hehe and you too human you do have a pretty face ~". He teased "don't ever say that to my face again ' .

He only chuckled before the same small flicker of golden light appeared in his hand. He clutched his hand tight as he absorbed it .

The same  shadow demon appeared behind him as lightning emanated from him the winds turned fiercer .

A purple shock wave came from him headed towards Mk who was still on the ground .

Quickly moving you grabbed the staff and teleported behind the Mk, grabbed the collar of his shirt before teleporting to  a higher altitude.

He only panicked as he held your arm "holy noodles !! " you sighed watching back down at Macaque's sailor moon transformation.

After the winds calmed down Macaque stood there calmly before looking up at the both of you "Thank you for giving me all of Monkey king's powers "  .

MK only squinted his eyes in disappointment clutching your arm a little tighter "huh oh ho oh ~ can't you hold the magic staff anymore do you need your babysitter to do it for you ? Well you know what that means you're just a kid with a heavy stick.

  ' No that means I get to kick your ass ' .

In a blink of an eye you were in front of him  staff still in hand with Mk who only sat on the higher ground safe away from Macaque .

With the staff you swing it quickly landing a blow , he had managed to block ,a grunt escaping his lips, before he was sent flying away towards the side his body crashes through stone smoke from the attack rises from where he was headed to .

"Haha hmm~ you landed a tough blow for a mortal this is getting fun~ " he appeared behind you in the air dropping down a kick .

You reach out your free hand and grab a hold of his leg easily; he only smiles in surprise and awe. 

You throw him away once again before he blasted off from the ground before he made contact and then started hand to hand combat .

 At one point you may or may not have broken  his ankle while heading an attack at his legs .

' This is like a shonen manga like seriously' .

"Wow ! Kid, seriously your babysitter is better than you are haha and he isn't even your mentor's successor ? Im suprised!"  .

'Shut it ! You shadow ripoff ' you were about to throw another punch accidentally letting  go your restraint on your strength.

"Y/n remember to never use your powers to hurt anybody! ' 

The punch instead gose headed towards the ground it cracks and shakes, tripping Macaque off in surprise  you jump away near Mk and throw the staff at him gently he only stumbles back a bit as he catches it "i- huh ? ". 

'Okay listen this is all i could do right now I'll explain everything later your sad excuse of a  good mentor is coming along i'll be near ' , 

Transforming back into a bird you fly away into the nearby vegetation immediately right after Monkey King comes crashing down Macaque ignores his presence looking around for you confused .

'Tch i'll just track him down later he's an interesting mortal i doubt I'll let him go anytime soon  ' 

"Monkey king !" Mk exclaimed he only turned his head slightly at him, the glow of gold coming off his one visible eye .

Mk only sweat drops .

"Monkey king ! It's good to see ya bud " Macaque states sarcastically "are you ever going to be sick of living in my shadow it's time to take back what you stole " Monkey kid said with a glare . 

"You are such a gem 'why did that sound fruity ?' Its going to be so satisfying killing you with your own powers ".

Both of them blast off from the ground towards each other before crashing a glow of purple and gold light shine from both of them they struggled as they held each other's fists .

Jumping away they crash into each other in a form of combat .

Macaque lands on a stone wall creating a small crater from the cracks sprouting out the same shadow clones from before all smiling .

Monkey king does the same thing, ripping small strands of hair before blowing on them as clones spawn in .

The shadows jump off from the ground .

Each clone faces the other in mid air each causing a ripple of explosions gold and purple light illuminates the air they both come crashing back down to the ground .

They run alongside crashing into each other before turning into a tiger and wolf after into hawk and crow  before the monkey king gains an opening in pinned Macaque dragging him across the floor . 

Macaque successfully kicks him off Monkey king gets back up immediately and rushes back to attack but hesitates and stops as an exact replica of MK stands in his way. 

But it only smiled , purple glowed from his eye. 

A second shadow clone comes bashing it and punches him right in the stomach; it splits in half and vanishes as the fake MK comes running in and punches him . 

The attack sends  the monkey king crashing through giant pillars of stone and rock before he crashes into the final one creating a crater under him.

He groans and tries to get back up but is dragged down by the multiple shadow clones that pile on him. 

They put him down to the ground as he grits his teeth before looking back up and in ander his eyes glowing gold. 

Macaque only cackles in glee as he transforms back into his normal form " seriously you fell for that! " he looks over at MK who still stood in the same place you left him watching warily. 

 " haha sorry kid nothing personal besides I hope this brings out your babysitter again!!" He floats back up into the air as purple surrounds him once more the monster spawns back . 

Mk screams in panic . 

"Kid !! " The monkey king struggles to get out of the grasp of the shadow clones before finally getting them off in a burst of gold as they disappear into purple mist. 

He quickly starts dashing towards Mk hurriedly as his clouds came  running beside him he jumps on it as it zips off towards Mk  . 

Macaque laughs as he starts sending a punch towards MK  who screams The monkey king was so close but not close enough so once again use telekinesis and push the heart back towards the giant  fist from your hiding spot . 

' holy mother of-!! Ugh !! ' .

With a small chance the monkey king was able to get there as he took over the role of stopping the punch outburst and wins and shockwaves of purple. 

" Come on !! show me the real Sun Wukong! The old you would've leveled this whole mountain range to stop meBut you're scared of hurting some kid!! Pathetic !! " Macaque  exclaimed Putting more force in his attack .

Mk struggled to pick up the staff  once more from before.

 When you threw it at him he had to double back and let the staff  fall into the ground as it got stuck. 

"Come on staff i-I can't i'm not strong enough to pick it up again" before he could call out your name or well what he usually calls Monkey king spoke up . 

".  Kid we're definitely going to have words later but it's time for the hero stuff!!" He grunted and struggled as Macaque kept putting more and more pressure on his attack. 

That seems to have given MK more strength as he tried even harder to lift the staff up from the ground and small little tears spread from his eyes and gold lighting shot  out all around. 

With a struggle he had managed to tear the staff away from the ground. 

The same words the monkey king used came back in his head as he repeated them .

" patience, focus Step into the strike !! " .

MK had managed to throw in the staff the same way he had before as It went shooting straight towards macaque Successfully blasting him away from his purple monster as a disintegrated and Bersted sending rubble and rock flying all around. 

MK had managed to catch the staff back as it came shooting back in a boomerang like style The monkey king quickly ran over and covered MK . 

After that Whole ordeal was over MK started to apologize to the monkey king " oh You you totally should be 'again this is not helping the situation' I can't believe you  two timed  me on your training " . 

" I just wanted to be good enough like you," Mk explained in an apologizing tone .

The monkey king on the side put a hand on his neck before sitting down next to Mk and giving him a pat on the shoulder " hey your hearts in the right place kid we can work on the rest. "

After the Monkey King Got MK to clean his place in the understanding that it was like one of those boring jobs and you'll learn a life lesson! yeah it really wasn't.

Mk hadn't seen you since that time of course he wanted to talk and know what the heck happened there but you didn't show up after that he had his hopes up though. 

You are actually tracking down the emo monkey... reluctantly. 

 You may or may have not felt bad about breaking his ankle and the fact that you were about to punch him straight into the moon . 

But your mother's words had stopped you so now you were going to comply with her  wishes she would've told you to do .

little hint that meant healing him against your own reluctant will . 

After searching for an hour and of course it was kind of easy but you were having thoughts to not do this but your mom's words kept screaming inside your head so that didn't help at all. 

You found him hiding among a giant forest far away from the fight he  had lie down grunting in pain as he tried to wrap the bandages around him from wherever he got that from.

You waited until he fell  asleep, in a way since you were more quiet floating. 

You stuck with that , slowly and gently you floated over before putting a reluctant hand on his head. 

'Wow his fur is .... surprisingly soft ' . 

You got lost in the feeling of his soft for as he kept petting him unbeknownst to you he started purring your hand kept moving around as a used restoration to turn back his body a day before. 

Your hand keeps getting a little too close to his ears when you're scratched behind them. 

That's when they perked  up . 

 He gradually opened his eyes tired but the tiredness kept vanishing slowly but surely. 

He looked up to the hand that was gently petting him. 

The sun was shining brightly behind not allowing him to see the only thing you saw was a shine of  a glinting Golden Earring . 

"You...." He finally spoke out .

You snapped out of the feeling of petting his fur  as he stared back awkwardly. 

The small specs of gold in his eyes kept staring back at yours. 

You only teleported away immediately. 

MK was busy drinking a glass of milk in his room before a little small thump was hurting his room. 

He turned around quickly ready to bring out his staff when he saw you standing there looking up at the ceiling. 

Before he  could get a word out you muttered

‘I think I may have made a grave mistake … crap’.

Chapter Text

As you're pondering about your existence and mistakes you just had now made .

MK only stared at you before clearing his throat, your eyes glancing at him "Um! Would you mind explaining what heck happened there or What even you are !? " He exclaimed, throwing his hands up in the air .

You sigh before looking over at him 'look kid I'm just a nearby ...traveler of sorts that you so happened to pick up at that weather station . My name's Y/n by the way ' nonchalantly you explain "What do you mean a nerbay traveler !? I-You! Were with me this whole time and didn't say anything !? 'Actually I- ' WAIT does that mean the illusion from those twin demons was real !? " .

'Unfortunately yes but don't worry the whole confession thing was definitely an illusion ' he kept asking questions followed by even more questions as his mind raced and let me just say that was unpleasant for you .

"I-I how do i know you aren't just going to use me like Macaque and make me fall into a trap !!" He pointed at you with the staff ,water droplets flying around from his damped hair  as he moved harshly back .

You looked at him deadpanned moving the staff that was pointed at you with a finger so that it faced the other way 'kid you were the one that picked me up from the weather station may i remind you , and brought me to your friends I only stayed to help since i have nothing else to do '.

'And since you're my only way home '.

He sputtered a protest but failed as you did have a point .

You helped him at the weather station even though you two were complete strangers and it is true that he did decide to take you back with him out of impulse....

"WAIT HOW DID YOU TURN INTO A BIRD!?" He shouted confused and he lowered the staff you grimenced at the thought of explaining .

Scratching  your cheek you look to the side 'uhh I'm a psychic of sorts ...don't question it ' and as if his earlier suspicion faded immediately he jumped and landed close to you with stars in his eyes .

"Woah !! Like those psychic's from the shows OH OH ! Can you lift things !? Or how about reading people's minds !? " he kept asking as he ran around you like a puppy you groaned internally .

"That must also mean your life's a dream huh !! Not having to deal with problems and all that Stu-'No let me drop some truth bombs bending spoons makes it harder to eat and winning free popsicles just leads to stomachaches that boy can anything and have anything well thats dead wrong!! I am the unhappiest boy alive, a boy who has nothing !! '.

By the end of your little rant Mks clutching his staff close to him as he sweat drops before laughing nervously "haha y-yeah i get it now ..." you regain back your poster before taking out your hand opening it a brown piece of folded up paper was on it .

You walk over to him give him the paper he looks at it and looks back up at you"Uh what is this ?" He tilts his head in confusion 'it's a list of what i can do ...most of it i left a few out since there either useless or i don't see a point in telling now you can read this in the morning you better get to sleep we dont want a repeat of the last time now do we '.

You turn him around and push him to his bed "w-wait ! Where are you going to sleep ?" He turns his head to look at you, you raise a brow 'you really don't think i have a place of my own i usually leave after you've fallen asleep ' he looks away an 'o' shape forms on his mouth "yeah that totally makes more sense ".

Before teleporting away you take one more glance at him '...you know you can tell your friends about me if you want  '.

He looked at you surprised before looking away "Nah it's fine i'll tell them at some point i don't want them to think you'll be like Macaque " . 

Shrugging your shoulders you give one last goodbye before teleporting away into your residence .

Getting there you sigh before taking off your beanie and glasses and flopping down on the bed rolling yourself up in the blanket blinking slowly as the thoughts of others are shutting off as you sucume to sleep .

MK drives back to the city after training with Monkey king of course you hid as usual

While answering some of MK's questions on why you avoid the Monkey but you only responded vaguely.

Along with the fact that whenever you talked to him he'd be the only one to hear and he could respond with his mind back without talking of course this had amazed him .

"This is so much weirder now that I know that you're an actual person, " Mk says as he drives the car along the road .

You were sitting on his shoulder in bird form 'yeah yeah now you know how i feel every single time you tried to feed me insects '.

He laughs sheepishly "sorry about that " glancing behind the vehicle you notice the shadows moving you glare at them as some flinch .

Mk drives through the lit up streets humming a tune before making it to a noodle shop "Hey yo ! Guess who's back-uhhh " as he looks up he now notices all the demon bulls that glowed a bright blue .

He steps back when one of them jumps down on the ground  groaning before screaming and jumping towards the both of you  with the rest of the bull soldiers behind it as they all scream faintly .

"AHHh! 'Kid use your staff thingy ' AHHhh! oh yeah your right" before he can though a familiar vehicle comes crashing through the crowd of the bull soldiers .

All of them went flying screaming as the vehinche met the ground with a thump out and stepped out the crew striking cool poses with new looks .

'That's an entrance '.

"Guys! Whoa you guys look so awesome" Mk exclames "Yeah so uh some stuff happened when you were away, things got intense " Mei said as she scratched her head .

"But i left you with one of my boys " Tang only stared at Mk from the vehicle before sliding away to let him see the 'boy' he left them with "Yeah he was super helpful " he said sarcastically.

"I don't know what to tell you guys " the fake implied before bursting in a smoke of gold as brown hairs fell down "so what happened ? " .

" Well after you left- *cough* Mei was interrupted as Tang slid over to explain "if you'll allow me ?" Mei groaned with the approval Tang went into a cool demeanor look " Well after you left the bull clones attacked but they were different 'in a sense of looks or being halfway passed by a child possessing demon ' more powerful than before we believe it's all tied back to the demon bull king himself 'ah so it is about the child possessing demon ' MK he's coming" .

Mk only sighed in distress " where is he ? Where's Dbk " Sandy  answered "We're not sure but there's pretty scary noises coming from that mountain " he pointed to it as thunder crackled  around it .

Mk stared at it in uncertainty before putting on a face of determination.

All of you rode in the van as you guys drove to the creepy mountain.

'Not again !- ugh ' you flinch harshly as the voices of Lady bone demon start to surface again loud along with the demon bull kings  .

You heard as he kept monologuing about how the citizens kept running in fear as he compared his strength with that of the monkey kings .

The Princess iron fan only stared at him from across the room. 

Red son came in to imply with his father saying how they have finally taken their places as the rulers of the city which isn't it the same as being mayor though ?.

An alarm rings on the purple screens that were in front of him .

The screen showed the van you all were currently driving to the mountain at a fast rate. 

The screen scanned it as all the images of the gang showed up .

Minus yours of course since you're just a 'bird' .

The voices of the lady bone demon scream at the demon bull king the second Mks image shows up .

His mind then mistaken him for the monkey king .

He screams in a rage as the voices shout . 

You flinch more violently trying not to groan in slight pain .

Your small body shakes on Mk's shoulder and he notices the movement .

'Uh you doing good bud ?'  He asks through his head 'I'm fine i-i ugh! Just have a small headache that's all ' . 

He looks at you unconvinced  .

But before he could ask again the vehicle leans to the left violently as an explosion goes off  before crashing through objects they make it to a stone gate with cracks and broken objects the door being shaped like a bull soldier's head .

"All right, what's the plan? " Sandy asks as all of them are huddled together "uhh i don't know just gonna wing it 'kid your terrible at  plans ' he sweat drops .

Surprising to Mk, Mei and Sandy agree "What ! No i didnt mean you guys to! 'I mean Sandy did ask what the plan was as a whole '.

" You  thought you were going to leave us? " Tang asked , his glasses fogged. " Mk you're the monkey king it's your job to go fight the bad guys " Pigsy implies Sandy continues it " But were your team man it's our job to get ya there " .

"No matter what " Mk looks at them as they all grin at him . 

He only responds with a small smile .

Pigsy restarts the engine as they crash through the gate when driving a bull vehicle starts to follow them the road was bumpy with all the rubble Tang then pointed out at the demon bull kings throne room that was down in a big hole but their view is then blocked by the bull car  . 

It starts to ram its side against the van before both explode and Sandy comes out with a determined grin while Mk and Mei held onto his shoulders .

Mk screamed as Mei and a smile on her face landed on the ground with a thud Mk slightly falls off but is then picked up once again by Sandy as he runs before jumping to a bull soldier tank and punching it to the ground . 

A crater forms under the impact as Mei and Mk get off his shoulders and run ahead .

Sandy, still in the creator, gives them a thumbs up as bull soldiers come crashing down on him .

Mei and Mk keep running 'Wait Kid the hole!-' but it's a little too late on your warning as the both of them in the big hole they scream as they hug each other in panic before Mei takes out her blade and pierces it into the walls that they pass by as her blade sinks into the dirt she manages to stop the fall.

Mk barley hangs onto her hand as they both dangle .

'....Why are you so impulsive ? ' 'l-listen we jumped in the heat of the moment ! '.

You could hear the whispers once more as the demon bull king stared at the purple screen that showed the image of Mei and Mk hanging off her blade. . 

Red son comes in and asks for his permission to go and destroy them both but all he does is simply laugh at him implying that all he's brought to him was failure .

'Ouch that must sting '.

'I wish the firecracker luck '.

The demon bone lady's whispers intensified inside the demon bull king's head which again affected you which again why THE FU-

The demon bull king's mind succumbs to the demon bone lady's whisper that Red son was a traitor; he ended up muttering it aloud .

Red son spoke in protest that he was loyal to his father but the demon bull king ignored them all as he yelled he then decided to throw an attack at Red son but was stopped by Princess Iron Fan who then asks him to come back to his senses .

She comments on how the powers he had received had poisoned his mind but again he paid no mind as the whispers shouted traitor he ended up yelling that out to .

Princess iron fan tells him that she wishes not to hurt him but all he does is cackle at the mere thought of her actually hurting him well that had sounded like a joke to him . 

And so they begin to fight now back to your problem at hand .

"So uh about how to get down if your friend jumped off a cliff would you do the same 'probably not but who knows ' Mk looks around until his eyes widen "Um Mei " she looks at him in confusion before looking in the same direction as he did .

Above the three of you was a horde of sleeping bull soldiers MK begins to panic as you try and calm him down 'just calm yourself ! You're going to wake them up ' 'I'm tryi-' he's cut off as Mei's phone rings . 

The sound echoes around as the three of you wear deadpanned expressions instantly all the soldiers wake up as their eyes illuminate an icy blue color .

And you guessed common sense was thrown out the window since Mei decides to pick up her phone but she ends up dropping it , in an attempt to catch it she lets her hand go off the handle of her blade .

MK screamed as he held on to her leg before quickly scrambling over her and swimming into the air for plot purposes that defy the logic of physics but again you do to so .

He then ends up grabbing onto the handle and grabbing onto Mei's leg "Ugh seriously a phone update now !? " "MEI ! ".

She groans and sarcastically mutters that it was the best time to get an update for her game, both of them gasp and look at eachother 'ah its power ranger time '.

Both of them end up doing circus acrobatics because Mk ends up throwing his staff into the air as it spins before he stabs it into the wall .

It ends up exploding a golden color as the walls break apart into cement and stone squares together they start forming the giant power ranger robot , all the bull soldiers then charge at the robot ready to attack .

"You hold off the zombie bull clones, I'll go down and finish this " MK said confidently , Mei only stared at him in admiration " I've always dreamed of piloting a killer mech 'odd dream but okay ' .

"Actually now that you mention it maybe i should drive the mech- huh ?" Suddenly the hatch under the both of you opens up. 

Mk ends up sliding through as he falls out of the hatch from behind and starts to get closer to the floor .

Since he already knew that you had special abilities you were going to slow down the impact as he landed with a small thud as from up top Mei had screamed in determination as she headed into battle .

You look down below . 

'Oh shit-' 'w-what!? what do you mean oh s-'

He ends up crashing into the demon bull king as he was fighting against princess iron fan and Red son . 

He fumbles and falls with a thud next to the demon as he groans lightly.

"Noodle boy ? " 'sup firecracker'.

"Little thief " 'Hello to you bull from the book of life '.

Mk gets up with a groan  as he puts his hands behind his back "Give me a minute whoa ugh "'you know i have an idea Maybe that mentor of yours should teach you on landing '.

"Now's  not the time for your sarcastic comments Y/n " 'heh yeah i know '.

While he's stretching his back the demon bull king holds his head in pain as his eyes flicker between blue and yellow before the blue overtakes it completely his image immediately changes upon seeing Mk to the monkey king.

"Okay ugh i think I'm ready to fight now lets go ' kid freaking run !!' . 

"Sun wukong! Come to lock me away again !? I'll crush you where you stand !!"The demon  king shouts as blue electricity sprouts from him "Wukong ?I think you've got the wrong guy feeling okay bud ? " .

He bends down to pick up the staff as you slap your face with your wing.

 The demon bull king starts running to Mk and jumps into the air first ready to crush him .

Mk barely dodges staff in hand as the bull demon king destroys the place where he was previously standing at demon bull king counting smashing every single bit of stans Mk was at as he screamed in panic . 

Princess iron fan get her giant fan ready again as she stood in front of Red son before sprinting to attack the demon bull king .

She sends two blades of wind at a fast speed the demon bull king dodges as they hit the wall forming a symbol that glows a bright red before fading away .

You and Mk are there picked up by a gust of wind away from the metal that falls on top of the demon bull king , Mk slides across the floor from the tug of wind until he's beside princess iron fan who was still in her defense positions .

"The canister the power inside has driven him mad 'really ? Wow, wow I never would've thought a child possessing demon would do this '.

Mk rubs his eyes before they turn into a bright gold he looks around until he sees the canister behind the demon bull king. 

It glowed a bright blue inside it were parts of a skeleton.

The demon bull king gets back up and then again charges at all of you "Okay im up for round two " Red son steps in front of him with his arm out "No , this time we fight with you " He lights up his hand with a burst of fire before charging towards the demon hull king leaving a small crater where he once stood .

"You'll have one shot so make it count " Princess iron fan does the same .

Red son throws a punch into the ground as it sends him blasting away and the voices of the lady bone demon spark up to life again his attack is then followed with Princess iron fans as she throws a gust of wind with her weapon .

"You will meet your fate !" He ends slashing away at the attacks, sending both of them flying back until they both crash into the ground and the demon bull king towers over them ready to finish the job .

Before he's hit in the head by a rock "Yeah i've got more where that cam-" Mk was cut off as he was smashed against the wall but the demon bull king's hand . 

Unfortunately you had dodge and were now slightly floating in the air, your wings flapping .

"You are an utter disappointment. I'd have hoped you would show me more of the great sages tricks "  MK only replied nonchalantly " i don't know what to tell ya dude ".

He's suddenly raised higher into the air before squishing him until he bursts into a smoke of gold "what !? A copy " .

"Yeah turns out i did learn some tricks " Mk came up from behind him in the air bursts of gold sounded around as Mk clones appeared everywhere using them Mk goes straight for the demon bull king .

All of them attack at once sending hit after hit with their staffs as you watched from the sidelines eating small bits of fruit you magically converted Red son only stared at you in confusion "That is definitely the most weirdest bird i have ever seen " 

The canister falls off from the demon bull kings back until it explodes 'shit !!".

The demon bone lady screams as she's released blue lightning shoots out into the sky as each of her fragments from the bull soldiers came out as they all came to a haunt and stopped moving .

Mk ends up dodging the ruble that starts to fall around with you simply moving side to side .

The demon bull king pants from the attacks Red son tries to go to his father but is stopped by princess iron fan she gently holds his face as she looks into his eyes before giving a small smile .

"You came back to me " both of them along with Red soon despair as they are engulfed with a tornado of wind but not before Red son looks around suspiciously .

Leaving just the two of you .

"You can't just- UGH Y/n can't you just teleport us out of here or something !? " 'ah so you actually did read that list , anyway yeah sure ' you land on his head before the both of you disappear before landing near Mei .

Mk ends up gagging 'ohh forgot to warn you of the side effects ... eh you'll get used to it ' .

Now sitting on the mech outside of the hold you end up sleeping on Man's head which he learned not to mind anymore as Pigsy gives him compliments as they all of them laugh when Tang tries to steal a noodle from Pigsy .

You hear the whispers of the lady bone demon as her spirit starts to run around the city and you grip MK's hair a bit .

Again there's only so much you can do in changing  this story  .

You shut your eyes tightly hearing the pained scream of the little girl who that damned demon had possessed.

Chapter Text

Once again for what seems like the 40th time you're hiding in the trees as you watch Mk have a sparring match with Monkey king .

"You call this a training session ?!" Mk yelled out blocking an attack from Monkey king "i've barely broken a sweat 'sure and that water running down your forehead is rain '.

"Battles no place to be arrogant you gotta stay humble " Monkey replies doing a backflip off the staf Mk only smashed the staff where Monkey king was standing "Says you! " he then proceeds to do combos of attack towards the Monkey king .

He had managed to get Monkey king at the corner of the shrine mountain they were trying on "ha who's gotta stay  humble now !" Mk yelled out jumping into the air spinning his staff to land one more blow .

Monkey king only smirks before jumping to meet Mk halfway there .

"Still you ".

'Still you '.

He then kicks away the staff out of Mk's grips who's screaming in the air twirling around as it pierces through the stone and rock behind him "oh boy 'and this is why you gotta stay humble hm Mk ? ' oh shush it Y/n !'.

He yelps avoiding the rocks that were falling from the staff's blow along with a few monkeys as well .

Monkey king only jumped back down onto his cloud before floating over to the pile of giant rocks "okay class is in session, how'd i win?" He goes over and picks up Mk out of the pile of rocks before setting him down onto the ground with his tail .

"Um you buried  me under a rock slide " Mk rubbed his chin in confusion " Yes but why were you standing in the way of a rock slide ? "  'cause you put me there- " .

"No no i got you where i wanted you by putting myself where you wanted me it's called misdirection ..." Monkey king then proceeds to do a pose to make his words more serious which by the way was not working .

"Seems like a shady lesson 'you're realizing that now ?' Mk scratches his head "too soon buddy " Monkey king crosses his arms " ugh I'm never gonna be as good as you " .

Mk flops on the ground staring up at the sky " not with that attitude class dismissed" Mk gets up with a shout of happiness "I better hit it i was supposed to meet Mei and the others for the-HMP " he was suddenly then hit with a yellow pillow on his face .

He scrambled to take it off before shouting at the Monkey king "Hey !- Whoa "   Monkey king was taking strands of his hair as they all transformed into items or food...which was concerning.

"How long have you been preparing for this ? " Monkey king only sat on the edge of the cliff "come on  its New Years bud let's watch the fireworks " .

"Oh i uh loved to but I really should get back to uh 'kid read the atmosphere the monkey doesn't want to be alone it seems '  .

Mk only looked at you from your hiding spot before sighing and giving a small smile as he walked over and sat down "sure " .

Monkey king tapped the ground with his finger awkwardly before glancing at Mk and clearing his throat "uh ... you can also have your bird come out if he wants' ' MK blinked at him in surprise  .

'So do you want to come out with us or ? .

'Eh sure why not? He seems to at least acknowledge me.

' besides I read his thoughts, nothing suspicious of me now ...more or less .'

Flapping your wings you fly out of the tree before gliding gently to Mk's head and sit down on it looking at the sunset with the city below that was cheering in joy of the lunar new year .

And also ignoring the glances the monkey gave you .

"Hey bud why does your bird wear glasses ? Last time i checked birds don't necessarily need items like that " Mk stiffened  "haha uhh I  gave them to him as a present?! haha yes as a present! I think he looks cool in them haha" .

He laughs nervously scratching his neck .

The monkey king only lifts a brow "huh okay ... "  and so Mk decides to then try and stir off the conversation into another subject which works ... surprisingly .

While they were doing that your mind drifted off hearing the swaps down below of a certain gigantic spider that you swore you'd kill with the largest pesticide spray you'd find .

"Ugh yeah keep laughing until you've seen what I've got cooking and then you'll have something to celebrate for only one hair left haha only this little piece from the Monkie Kid holds all the power I need , you've finished tinkering yet " the spider queen then directs her attention to the scientist she kidnapped .

" I have constructed what you asked for. The delivery system is operational so long as the venom works this time " .

'Man you may have just dug your grave saying that '.

Spider queen stabs a leg behind the scientists as her eyes grow a bright green "the venom will work " she then turns around dropping the last hair into the green liquid as it glows and turns into a gold .

The liquid spreads through into the eggs as one hatches down before falling on its legs; it walks around for a minute before it explodes into a burst of gold smoke .

"No no NOO!! Ugh I am the queen !!'yes we know  I think that was already said like i don't know a few hundred times now '  i am meant to rule this world not hide beneath it !!" She rampaged as items and bottles that held the green liquid fell over .

And just as she was about to stab the scientist she stopped as her voice turned into desperation "it can't be over ".

'.... Well shit look who it is, the child possessing demon Finally makes her damn presence known '.

And as if on cue the lady bone demon speaks her voice the child's she took the body of "it doesn't have to be " .

"W-who said that show yourself!" The spider queen turns around .

A shadow of a young child was cast onto the wall, the face once of a demon that showed in blue light "My apologies I just thought I might be of service " she then walked out her hands intertwined.

'She's already gotten comfortable with her body huh'.

"Service huh ? Who are you ? ' an old lady that's what ' ".

" I'm merely someone who thinks the great spider queen has been absent from her throne for too long I think that once you've  rise even the celestial host can not achieve will be inevitable the final destruction of the Monkey king ".

Out of surprise and rage the spider queen lifts one of her legs before sending it straight to the lady bone demon before stopping at her chest " well don't you know a sweet way of talking . The Monkey king tore me from my throne ! Took everything i had that makes you think that sound easy ."

" i thought maybe we could use this " she opens her closed hands Rea line a small cone shaped vile with a skull on as a corg .

" my , my, I haven't seen one of these for  a while, " the spider queen said in awe .

The lady bone demon then glances at the workstation " May i ? ".

With the spider queen's silence she takes that as a yes .

She then walks over to the tub of green liquid before opening the vile and pouring its contents in .

What comes out is a mist of blue smoke and as it touches the liquid it turns into an icy blue up above one of the eggs crack again and out falls one of the small machines .

It shakes for a second, blue electricity around it before it stops " Well , well looks like you have your uses after all . Lets give it a spin " she then turns her attention to the scientist.

He makes worlds of protest as she laughs at the little robot bug then runs over the man and jumps on his face as he screams trying to get it off before tripping and falling over a steel pipe .

There  are groans of pain as the man sprouts legs from his back on the shadows .

Once the transformation was completed his whole attire had changed to look like an exact color scheme of the spider queen . 

 He then bows at her , she just giggles in amusement " okay little miss mystery what's the catch ?"

" I simply wish to see you fulfill  your destiny 'now that's a lie ' my queen " .

Soon after the rest of the eggs above hatched and fell to the ground the spider queen laughed .

The sounds of fireworks snap you back into the moment with Mk and the monkey king " Happy new year !!" They both shout in glee as they both burst into excitement of the fireworks " over a millenia and fireworks are still the best thing humans have invented " .

He then takes a strand of his hair as it turns into a basket of food " uh am i eating hair right now ?" Mk questions " don't think about it " they both look up and no more lights are in the air , Mk spits out the food he had prior in his mouth " what happened to the fireworks ?!".

 He then uses his eyes that turn into a bright gold, his eyesight zoomed in on the city where he could see a giant robot spider walking through the rubble of the city as people scream in panic. 

"The city !!"

"The fireworks!!" 

They both scream at the same time .

Mk only looks at the Monkey king deadpanned " 'oh uh people are also getting hurt i guess 'damn that's cold '.

" Well I'll go take care of business " Mk then takes out his staff and jumps off but doesn't make it that far before his hand is grabbed and then tugged .

He yelps as he is thrown over the Monkey king's shoulder and onto his floating cloud " nobody messes with my New Years lets go ! " .

The cloud then blasts off into the night sky towards the city " Guess spider queen Findlay crawled out of her cesspit " Mk then glances down below where he sees spiders crawling around .

He screams, tightening his hold on the monkey king's waist  " Spiders!! Get them away from me, get them away !! 'Kid you're blocking his sight !!' He scrambles holding onto the monkey king's head as he shouts .

The cloud fumbles around before it lands on the roof where the monkey king drops him "get off Mk !" As he starts to fly away mk gets back up "wait what are you-"

The monkey king only sighs " if you can't handle a little spider how are you meant to help me stop that " .

He tilts his head towards the direction of the giant spider robot "i'll handle this one by just hanging tight " Mk only puts as his cheeks puff up " wait. ! I can still help-" he's cut off by the gust of wind that's blown on his face as Monkey king flys off  .

'....are you just going to accept that ? ' 'What ? ' I mean , are you just going to let him do your job for you ' .. . No ! I won't, I'm the Monkie kid ill help !' .

He then uses his staff placing it on the ground as it extends launching him in the air as he goes after the robot he nears it before landing on a part of it he slides down on it before gaining a grip , his eyes glowing a gold once more .

Those help him see through the metal to see the monkey king and spider queen fighting.

The monkey king gives sassy remarks to her as she hides in the shadows suddenly he hears whispers behind him he " gotcha ya !" He turns around and runs towards it but when he punches it .

Lady bone demon only tilts her head to the side allowing him to only hit the wall behind her MK gasps as he shouts his name the Monkey king only looks at lady bone demon in confusion as he only sees a young girl .

She glances up at him, her eyes a bright white along with her hair. Next are flashing images of blue fire , destruction and a blue chest .

Monkey king jumps away and an opening was wide and clear for the spider queen that emerged behind him , she then uses her webs and ties the monkey king together in them. 

She then throws him onto the floor the monkey king only mocks her saying how a simple web wasn't going to be able to hold him down but was interrupted as blue lighting shocks him all over .

"What is this !? " he grunts in pain " finally after all these years you're mine " from where the monkey king was laying on lines and strands of gold emerged from him as they spread on the ground filling up the green tubes .

The spider queen laughs as a shock wave of green comes out of her knocking down Mk , The lady bone demon only offers her praise to the spider queen as she explains that her new webs should be able to hold the monkey king down .

Mk only stares at the robot from the ground 'this is why people need giant spider repellent'. "

The robot then heads over to the demon bull king's food stand before it rips it open and does the same thing tying the demon bull king up in webs as he struggles before being tugged inside the robot as red son shouts his name in panic .

Suddenly he's then attacked by one of the small spider robots; it fumbles with him; he then takes out a fist and destroys it.

 What comes out is a small container of green liquid, he then sprints over to his vehicle taking off the red cover .

The demon bulking blinks his eyes awake before he suddenly realizes he's inside a metal room with swords as he's tied up with webs. 

He screams in anger trying to get out of them.

He questions who did this before the spider queen comes down from the rooftop hanging upside down " why me of course " he only grunts "I've truly fallen if someone such as you can best me they would be queen of spiders " .

"There ain't nothing wrong with that, I am The spider queen and you are nothing but a battery for my mech look around you, you're not the only prize I've  snagged up everyone of them just dying to give me their power".

To his realization he looks around "and princess Iron fan " .

"Oh don't worry, I haven't found your wife yet. I did manage to track down an old friend of yours "she then turns his head towards The monkey king who is hanging upside down "sup bull king you too huh " infantile rage of the demon bull king struggles harder to get out of the webs.

The two doors open as the underlings of the spider queen enter in " my queen I  have news regarding Red son " The bull demon king scoffs " useless offspring ".

"Go on" the spider queen motions with her hands "actually he managed to get away" The spider Queen grunts  in frustration The bull demon king perks up "I never doubted him for a second you will never catch him " .

"My queen, what about the monkey king's protégé? Perhaps he should join his master" The lady bone demon says and she glances up to the monkey king who only growls at her" yeah and the boy too I can't have these problematic children running around or causing me problems ".

 While all this was happening you and Mk were trying to track down the rest of the gang as you were directing him to where they were. 

He flings down with the staff screaming  before he lands on the ground with the burst of gold as he spins  his staff in the air.

" Guys! you're all OK I thought you got turned into gross spider thingys they're everywhere" he says clutching the staff tight and small cartoonish water tears sprout from his eyes "I can still feel them crawling all over me".

"Kid focus !"  "Yep ! Working on it " MK gags as he holds the staff close 'Just ...don't let it  touch you and I think you'll be fine ...I'm just going to go with Mei-'NO don't you dare leave me you traitor!!'.

The bigger person of the two stepped forward as the smaller one informed the spider queen with the earpiece it had "Oh no 'Well i guess you saved yourself a fight ?'MK turns around stumbling before getting pulled up onto the boat with the others.

As he hugs you cartoonish tears going down his face from the spiders as Tang tries to comfort him , the spiders then get ready to attack the boat " sandy it's now or never old buddy !!" Pigsy shouts .

Sandy comes out with a remote "Found it !" And presses it a cat's noise echoes around "Uh sandy ? -" Meis interrupted with a loud boom on the left looking over a giant spaceship of sorts coming crashing through, stopping just above all of you .

 Sandy then hugs them all as he jumps up with you following, flapping your wings over onto the ship .

Just then the smaller spider henchmen throws a circled tracking device onto the ship under just as it blasts off into the sky .

Sandy lets them go from his grip as they flop onto the floor "What do ya guys think ? 'Uh i think their dead ' been saving her for a rainy day " Mei gets up as she puts a hand on one of the rails for support " Real cool sandy its awesome for taking pictures for  the terrifying vistas ."

"Spider queen captured  monkey king " the crew makes protest of surprise " yeah her and this skeleton thing '*cough * body child possessing demon ' she got him and I- i didn't even try to help 'I doubt that ' he lost and then he ".
