Also as its totally fantasy, its upto me what I write in this book for example I might add powers to the werewolves or no mpreg as well. I have not decided about the mpreg one cause I am in the middle of the decision. But let me know in the comments if you want a mpreg ff or not.
It will also include angst, fluff, jealousy, intimacy, torture, killings and well my thirstae readers smuts ofcourse.
Without further delay lets start this!
The young boy was happily skipping back to his house with a page in his hand. He had gotten the first place in his art class once again. He was excited to show this to this parents. He furrowed his eyes in confusion when he reached his house to see the main door wide open. He was about to step inside when a hand on his arm stops him midway.
"Don't go from here, lets go from the backgate." Her mother whispers lightly.
"But why eomma?"
The boy looks at her mother with confusion in his eyes. He was feeling it. The feeling of things being not okay. He observed how hIS mother had slightly puffy eyes and they looked swollen.
"Eomma! you cried?" He asked when he was quite sure of what he asked was true.
His mothers gestures him to stop talking with a finger on her lips and guides him into the house from the back door. They enter quietly and walk to the boy's room.
"Kookie, be a good boy and stay here. Don't make a noise. I will come back soon." Her breath hitched on the last line and she tried her best not to break down infront her son.
The poor boy not wanting to make his mother more worried decided to agree to staying in his room.
"Take care, kookie. I love you so much." She mumbles the last words giving his son a kiss on his forehead and leaves the room.
The boy sits on his bed with the page still clutched in his hand. He looks at the drawing and smiles. He knew his parents would love it and praise him as always. He was trying to distract himself from thinking about what was going on outside. He felt a shiver run down his spine when he heard a loud bang from outside. Tears started to form in his eyes.
He slowly get up from his bed and crouch down and then walk towards the door on his knees. He as quietly as he could open the room's door slowly..
What he sees happening infront of him makes him freeze in his place. His breath gets stuck in his throat and the tears now fall rolling down his cheeks. He whimpers lightly with his body trembling uncontrollably. He saw his parents dying infront of his eyes. They lay on the floor of the living room lifeless.
He put a hand over his hand and breaks down not wanting to make any noise.
Jungkook's Father's POV:
"Let my wife go. She has done nothing wrong." I say trying to appear composed when I was terribly scared of what they would do to my family.
"I should be only responsible for what I did. Don't dray my family in it."
The man infront of me scoffs and clicks his tongue seemingly bored from my words. I just need to buy enough time for Areum and Jungkook to get out of this house and be somewhere safe.
"Stop with all this bullshit of yours. I don't care if they were involved or not. They will pay for what you did as well. Heard you got a son. Where is he?"
My head fills with rage when I hear him talking about my son.
"Don't-
"P-please let us go." I turn at a fast speed towards the voice of the source. Areum
Why was she here? I asked her to leave with Jungkook. Does that mean Jungkook is here too? Shit thats not good
I try to walk towards her but I freeze in my place upon hearing a loud bang. She was shot dead right in the head. I feel a pang in my heart. She is no more. All my fault. I start to cry while I run towards her deadbody. I put her head in my lap.
"Love, please wake up. You can't leave me like this. Please..." I look up at the man standing nearby as if nothing happened with anger and sadness filling my eyes.
"Why her? WHY!!?" I scream not caring cause I know whats coming soon. I will be dead but I know what to do to keep Jungkook safe.
"Shut Up!! Why interfere when two men are talking. What a bitch!" I punch him right in the face. How dare he badmouth my wife. He holds his jaw in pain from the sudden attack. He then reloads his gun aiming it at my leg.
Bang....
He shoots me on my left leg and I fall to the ground with a sharp pain on the wound.
"Go to hell!" I shout back and that was enough to get him over the edge. He shoots me in the chest three times.
Once - I love you Kook
Two- Stay safe
Three- Namjoon help my son....
My eyes start to close and until a few seconds later the darkness engulfs me completely and the death welcoming me warmly.
Namjoon's POV:
"KIM NAMJOON GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!!" I hear my husband screaming in the most angry tone ever. What did I do now? I broke his favourite mug... Oh shit!
I make my way downstairs afraid of what was he going to do. I see him holding a frying pan in his hand with his eyes fuming with anger. That's bad-
"Baby its not my fault." I try to act innocent. Well it ain't really my fault that I am God of Destruction.
"I will tell you whose fault it is. Come here in the kitchen right now!"
"Jinnie please don't be angry I will buy you a-
Namjoon help my son
I stop midway when my cousin who I have not seen since ages mindlinks me and its not good at all. Shit, his kid. My expression changes to one of a worried one and I look up at Jin who stops his ranting about how he loved his mug so much and looks back with a confused face.
"Joon what happened? Why you are so worried all of a sudden? Did I speak alot?"
"I have to go right now." I start to make my way out of the kitchen towards the head Alpha's house. I will need his permission to go to the city. I hear Jin speak from the kitchen coming after me.
"Where Joonie? What's wrong?" After assuring him that I will be quick and come back and tell him the matter. He agrees to it and gives a goodbye hug and kiss on the cheek like everyday.I stand infront of the Head Alpha's office as this time of the day he is busy with the pack's problems and stuff. I knock twice to announce my arrival. I open the door and enter the room abit quickly.
"What's the matter, Namjoon?" He gestures me to sit but I refuse and speak quickly to avoid wasting anytime. He listens to me attentively and then takes off his glasses and places them on his table.
"You can go and take Yoongi with you." He speaks seemingly not that interested in the matter. I nod my head and turn around walking towards the door and put my hand on the door knob.
"Be careful" He speaks quickly.
"Okay" I reply back and leave the room quickly to see Yoongi in the garden nearby. I call out him by his name and asks him to take out the car.
No one's POV:
It takes Namjoon and Yoongi half an hour to reach the the house. Luckily, Namjoon remembered the house after all these years and it took them no time to find it. Yoongi parks the car while Namjoon gets off the car quickly and reaches the main door of the house which was already wide opened. He felt the smell of blood from inside. He started to feel guilty thinking what if he was late. He failed to help the boy. He enters the living room to see a terrifying scene infront of his eyes. His cousin and sister in law lying dead on the floor with half dried blood nearby their deadbodies making small poodles. He was devastated to see all this when a small whimper is heard from somewhere.
He uses his super hearing sense and he hears it. A heartbeat.
He reaches the room whose door was opened a little. He enters the room with slow steps opening the room door fully now. What he sees next crushes his heart in a thousand pieces. There sat a boy curled up in the corner of the room who looks up immediately at him with his blood red eyes. He had been crying since who knows how long.
"D-don't h-hurt me...." He hardly makes out these words and seems to be terrified of Namjoon. He take two steps towards the boy and he starts to cry loudly and the very next minutes passes out.
"Shit!" Namjoon mutters lightly holding the boy in his lap. He gets up picking the boy in a bridal style and whisper in his ear to comfort the unconscious boy.
"Shush.. you are safe now."
THREE HOURS LATER:
Kim Taehyung's POV:
I was looking at some papers which told about the fight between the RedScarlet and our pack. Why do they don't get it? They are not strong enough to stand up to my pack. The fights were increasing and the hunting competition was soon to come. We needed to make peace with the pack just to not cause some drama at the time of competition. I put down the papers from my hand and look outside from my office window. Yoongi's car was parked outside his house.
"They are back." I stand up and decide to go see how the trip to the city went and ofcourse about that kid. I walk out of the office the light wind caressing my face gently. I take in theh fresh air and feel relaxed.
I enter Namjoon's house whose door was open already. I see him sitting on the sofa looking at nothing but the wall infront of him. He seemed to be in some kind of deep thought. I clear my throat and he looks up to see me. I take a seat opposite to him.
"How did it go?" He opens his mouth to speak but then closes it again as if thinking what to say. He speaks finally after a whole minute.
"My cousin and his wife were killed." Oh thats bad
"What about the kid?"
He on this turn to look at the room on his right. "He is safe but not fine. He was hiding in his room when I found him. He was traumatized and fainted immediately as I tried to approach him. He has already woken up screaming twice and then he goes back into unconsciousness."
What a pity. Felt bad for the poor boy. I decided to have a look at the boy.
"Can I have a look at the boy?" Namjoon looks surprised but nods his head as a yes so I make my way towards the room where he was. I open the slowly and I opened it only halfway and stopped looking at the scene unfold infront of me. There laid a boy on the bed with pale skin and tear stained face and I could hear his light breathing.
Only one word came to my mind upon seeing that boy. Fragile
I turn to leave and close the door but something stops me again. The scent coming from the boy. I focus more on it and get confused as if to what it was of? I close the door and tell Namjoon to update my about the boy's condition and left the house.
I was now taking a walk in the forest while admiring the nature thats when I got the scent of something familiar. The same as the boy's. I look to see some flowers grown nearby the lake. I take a few steps and stand by them to figure out what type of flowers they were.
White lillies
They represent purity and innocence.. just like the boy
But that does not answers the question to why the scent of the boy was so faint?
Lillies have strong fragnant.

Chapter Text
TWO
Dead
Thats how Jungkook felt when he opened his eyes after being unconscious for three days. He had been getting panic attacks along with nightmares which did not help at all to make the boy feel any better but then Seokjin was there to help the boy.
First, Jungkook was lost in his thoughts thinking about his parents and how he will never see them again. Thinking of how he was unable to do anything to save them and just sat in his room looking through his door seeing them dying infront of his eyes.
He was right now sitting in his room wait no he does not know where he is. His brain starts to slowly process then. Where in the world was he? It definitely wasn't his room. Jungkook pulls the duvet off his body and throws it to the left side of the bed and gets up. He feels abit dizzy but ignores it as he makes his way towards the door with slow steps. He reaches for the door knob ready to open the door but someone beats him to it and the door opens all of a sudden startling the boy in the process who stumbles backwards a little in surprise.
"Oh, you are awake. How are you feeling?" Seokjin asked examining the boy.
"I- who are you? Jungkook ask back taking a few steps backwards in defense.
"I am Seokjin and I am your father's cousin. We used to be quite close." Seokjin says with a warm smile on his lips which makes the boy feel relieved to some extent.
Jungkook's pov:
The man infront of me is Appa's cousin? How come I have never seen him before and Appa never mentioned him to me. Is this man lying to me? And what's this scent which is clouding my mind? It is so strong and intoxicating. I shrug this thought away for now and asks the man named Seokjin some more questions to confirm his identity.
I was now out of the room and in the kitchen with Uncle Namjoon. He indeed is my father's cousin but when I called him uncle he objected and asked to call him hyung instead. There was another man making pancakes for me and my eyes could not help but wander around to look at living room which was right infront of the kitchen. It was simply decorated and felt homey.
I look back now at the table on which Uncle placed a plate of pancakes taking it from the other man. They smell delicious. Uncle takes a seat opposite to mine and I look at him.
"Hyung, where am I and how did I end up here?"
"You are at the Silvermoon pack. It quite far from the city. Your father mind-linked me before he breathed his last." (Jungkook is now Jungshook 😂)
Silvermoon pack what's that?
Away from city?
Mind-linked?
Hotel Trivago?
"You are funny, Hyung. Tell me did you come to meet us by chance and found me there?"
I look to see Namjoon hyung have a confused expression on his face.
"Jungkook say what's your age?" Why is he asking me this? I reply anyways stuffing a piece of pancake in my mouth with the fork. I am so hungry.
"I turned eighteen one week ago." On this hyung gulps and look at me. He opens his mouth to say something but closes it. A chair dragging voice makes us both turn towards source of the noise and see the man who made pancakes for me sitting there. He places a glass of drink infront of me.
"Here drink this, its banana milk." Oh my favourite.
"Thank you I love it alot. But who are you?"
"I am Kim Seokjin and your hyung's husband." Oh they are married. I have never seen two guys married to eachother but I know that people like men instead of women too thanks to my friend at the school.
"Nice to meet you, Seokjin hyung." I give him a small smile.
"Aww aren't you a cute baby." He remarks. I turn back to look at Namjoon hyung who seemed to be spacing out.
"Namjoon hyung, I asked you something. You did not reply me."
"Jungkook I don't know how to tell you this. Seeing your confused state I am sure you are unaware of the truth. I am not sure how you will react to it. Let me put it in a simple way. You are a werewolf, Jungkook." A loud smack is heard afterwards hyung has said the sentence.
"Are you stupid Joonie? You said it so straightforwardly. You will scare the boy this way. Let me handle this you go away for now. Shoo!" Seokjin hyung half shouts at Namjoon hyung and he leaves the kitchen right away.
I think back to what he said You are a werewolf .
"Seokjin hyung what did h-he mean? I stutter in between the sentence starting to feel nervous all of a sudden. Something was not right and I could sense it. He looks at me with a gentle smile on his face takes a deep sight before speaking up.
"Jungkook dear, you might have heard about werewolves in stories, right? They are not some just fictional made up characters. They do exist in this real world. They are the part of this human world too."
He takes a pause and grabs my hand gently caressing it with his other hand. I felt warm at the touch. It was just like my mother used to do whenever I was nervous or felt sad.
"Jungkook you are one them too. Because your father was a werewolf." I hear the whole world crashing upon me as he said these words. I quickly retract my hand from his hold and stand up pushing the chair back in a hurry. He is joking with me, right? How can this be true.
"H-hyung, its not funny. How-" My voice cracks at the end in the middle and tears start to form in my eyes. Seokjin hyung stands up and takes a few steps towards me. Before, I could step back he engulfs me in a warm gently hug.
"Shush... don't cry dear. It will all be okay." I start to cry not able to control my emotions anymore.
"T-this is not right. I am not a werewolf." I sniff lightly trying to talk back.
"Jungkook, don't be like this. You know werewolves are the beautiful creatures blessed with powers more than a normal human. You finish your pancakes then we will talk about it more if that's okay to you."
I think about it for a minute and then nod my head slowly on which Seokjin hyung ruffles my hair giving me a smile. "Good boy, now come on finish this."
Taehyung's pov:
"So you are telling me that the boy does not know he is one of our kind?" I ask him with a questioning look on my face.
"Yes Alpha. The confusion on his face was evident enough for me to know that he is unware of the truth." He replies. "But maybe he is not a werewolf because his mother was a human."
"No Namjoon he is a werewolf." All that made sense now.
"I am sorry but Alpha how are you sure?" Namjoon says abit confused.
"Because the boy has a scent. Its soft but it was coming from him. If he is a half werewolf then It would make sense for him to have a light scent."
"But Alpha I felt no scent on him." Namjoon says.
"Are you sure?" Namjoon nods his head as a yes and I become the confused one now. How come this be?
I bring my hand to my chin and caress it lightly thinking about it and then turn turn towards Namjoon who waits for me to speak up.
"Bring the boy here." I say and Namjoon nods his head without arguying about it and takes my permission to leave the room.
No one's POV:
Namjoon exits the room and walk out of the Alpha's house and starts heading back to his house to check up on Jungkook. He gets shocked to see the scene unfold infront of him while entering the house. There sat Seokjin and Jungkook on the couch next to each other and talking calmly. He makes way towards them and settles down on one of the sofas and speaks up.
"Wow things changed fast." He arches an eyebrow at the both of them.
"Ofcourse, Things would be like this because I explained to Jungkook a thousands time better than you did. They way you told him anyone in his place would freak outlike that." Jungkook looks up at them and speaks up.
"Namjoon hyung I am sorry for behaving like that. You told me all of a sudden and I freaked out."
"Jungkook baby, don't worry he did not feel bad at all and its okay your reaction was a natural one." Jungkook mutters an okay in response. Seokjin then turns to look at Namjoon. "I don't him about a few things regarding the werewolves like he can shift into werewolf form and he will powers like speed, super hearing and stuff." Namjoon says that it was good that Seokjin explained him some stuff.
"Jinnie Do you feel a scent on Jungkook?" Seokjin nods his head as a no and Namjoon scratches his head getting confused.
"Oh by the way the Alpha asked for Jungkook to meet him." Jungkook quickly refuses to it and Namjoon asks for the reason and here we Jin's doing.
"Hyung Seokjin hyung told me that he is a short-tempered asshole." Namjoon's eyes go wide and he looks so done with his husband.
"Jinnie why would you say that and stop using curse words with the kid." Seokjin rolls his eyes at this.
"Jungkook is now my child and I am gonna make him just like me a sassy fearless werewolf."
"Jungkook don't worry the Alpha head is not bad at all and he has ordered me to bring you to meet him so we need to respect his order and obey." Jungkook nods his head in acknowledgement.
"Okay lets go then." Seokjin butts in and stops them.
"Let the kid take a bath first and get ready. Good thing you brought his belongings along with him."
"Well what can I say I am a genius afterall or else I would have to go back to the city and bring his things." Namjoon says felling proud of himself but Seokjin stands up pointing a finger at him.
"Oh no you mister! you are still going to the city and find the same mug you broke three days back." He then turns to Jungkook with a sweet smile. "Jungkook dear lets go I will run a bath for you."
Jungkook's pov:
I was getting ready feelingf refreshed after taking a bath. I wear my black hoodie with black jeans. I brush my hair and part them from the middle and let the little long locks of my hair fall on the sides of my forehead. I wanted to look presentable infront of the Alpha head of the pack. I am still confused about all this werewolf stuff but what else can I do? I have no other choice or any other place to go to. I take a deep sigh and leave the room to go downstairs. I walk in the livingroom and Namjoon hyung gets up.
"Lets go If you are ready Jungkook." I nod my head and he starts to make way towards the main door and I follow behind him. I hear Seokjin hyung shouting from behind.
"Jungkook don't be afraid he ain't that bad but still he is a short-tempered asshole for me." I laugh a little at this.
I step out of the house and notice my surroundings. Oh wow, its a forest. They have houses in the forests. Whats more to come? I walk with Namjoon hyung to a house and enter it with him walking ahead of me. Then we reach a room and Namjoon stops infront of me and turns to face me.
"This is Alpha's offfice. You can go in and meet him. I will be outside here so If you need to leave just come out of the room and we will go back to my house." I nod my head muttering a small okay and see Namjoon taking a few steps back and then making his way towards a sofa in the livingroom and he settles down there.
I turn around to face the door and take a deep sigh before knocking on the door twice before reaching for the door knob and twists it to open the door. I enter the room with the nervousness starting to creep in my body.
Grillabeats- Trapanese (Click to play)
"Close the door."
A deep low pitched voice speaks which makes goosebumps stand all over my body. Suddenly, I was in a need to open the door again and run out of there. I slowly look up from the floor towards the man sitting the chair already looking at me. His gaze was unwavering and full of a darkness that made me feel uneasy. I suddenly start to feel an other emotion and it was foreign. My body reacting differently and my hands were starting to get cold but I was sweating.
"Why are you standing there? Come, take a seat." His voice abit less scary and I seemed to relax a little. I walk towards the table and sit down. And then it hits me. The same scent that I felt in Namjoon hyung's house. I without any hesitation nonchantaly spoke up.
" What's the scent in this room? " The man infront of me finally moves his head more up to properly face me and I thought I was going to meet an old man or something. He was so handsome. My breath hitched looking at the man infront of me and the way he looked at me was even more intimidating. Jungkook get a hold on yourself I scold myself in the head.
"There is no scent in here." Jungkook looks confused at the man.
"I am sorry but there is a very strong scent. Its of vanilla mixed with sandalwood." The Alpha laughs at this. What is funny?
"That's quite impressive. Your senses are already quite good." He looks at me with a glint of shine in his eyes and gets up from his chair and walks to a nearby bookshelf.
"Say what's your name kid?" Oh I did not introduce myself.
"I am Jungkook." He hums in response and takes out a book from his collection of books.
"I know." He turns to face me with that book in his hand.
"H-how do you know?" I look at him with a shocked look on my face.
"I am an Alpha and every alpha can read minds, Jungkook." Oh~
"Tell me something about yourself." He speaks again.
"I am eighteen years old and used to live in seoul with my parents. They are...." I pause in midway the sentence.
" I know that too. I feel sorry for you but what can we say. The world is a cruel place." He places the book infront of me on the table as he stood a little close to me. I did not even notice when he came all the way towards my chair.
"This book contains all the facts and information about the werewolves. I will lend it to you for to read it." I could not focus on what he was saying the scent once again was clouding my mind. What is going on?
"Stop thinking about it" I turn to look at the man again.
"What?" He exales a bored sigh and bends down to my level and looks me in the eye. I gulp looking back at him in the eye. The eyes hold a kind of a darkness one that you feel scared of.
"Stop thinking about that scent." He read my mind again.
"You stop it." He arches his eyebrow at me with an amused smile following.
"You are stupid. A scent can not be controlled and mine is the strongest among all werewolves."
"I was talking about the mind reading thinking. Stop doing that." I pause again. Wait what. I whip my head up to look at the man again.
"Y-your scent?" He stands straight and hums again.
"Yes, every werewolf has a scent to him. Yours is quite unique." I get curious as if to what my scent was.
"What is it like?" The man's expressions change all of a sudden and he has a look of annoyance to his eyes.
"You speak alot. You can leave now." His voice has gotten an octave lower than before it was and my whole body shivers upon hearing it. I quickly get up and turn towards the door and hold the knob in hand to open the door.
"Call me Alpha from now on." His deep voice rings in my ears once again. I nod without looking back at him opening the door and leaving the room.
To be continued~

Chapter Text
No One's POV:
Done with the book, Jungkook's mind was full of multiple questions and he wanted answers. He stands up from his and places the book on the bedside table. He makes way out to the living room to see Seokjin watching t.v. He clears his throat and Seokjin turns to look at him.
"What is it, Jungkookie?" He asks examining Jungkook's face which clearly showed he wanted to say something.
"Hyung, I finished the book but there are some questions." Hearing this Seokjin smiles and pats the sofa on his left gesturing him to come there. Jungkook goes there and sits down besides Seokjin.
"You can ask me anything. I will probably have the answer to all the questions."
Jungkook thinks of what to ask first and then asks away some questions. Seokjin tells him about most of the questions in detail and some in simple words. Jungkook was quite satisfied with the answers and it helped him to get the information more claer. Time goes by and they both talks alot about the wolves and a part comes where Jungkook asks about this
"What are Omegas, Seokjin hyung?" He asks with confusion because the word mentioned at many places in the book but not much was provided on the word.
"Dear, I will tell you about it in detail. So Omegas are the most vulnerable type of wolves and they have almost no strength to fight or do hardwork but they are quite rare. The chances of a wolf to be an omega is one in a hundred. The Omegas are blessed with the ability to carry a child. Some incidents are known where the omegas had died while giving birth but then they are the ones who continue the race of werewolves. So, they even being fragile are of a great importance."
"Oh, I get it now." Jungkook says getting what Seokjin told him.
"There is a legend that says an Omega will be born with the power greater than a Alpha but that power will be a curse upon that omega because a weak being like an omega are not capable of controlling that much of power. The power will start to take a great toll over the omega and it might result in the death of the omega. But some argue what if the omega is strong enough to have the supremacy over the power in him. Would he stay alive?"
Jungkook goes into a daze after listening to but soon comes up with a response.
"If the omega is cursed with that power only he can turn that curse into a blessing with his willpower." Seokjin smiles at him and remarks with a well said to Jungkook.
They both go quiet for a while and look at the tv playing infront of them, when again Jungkook comes with a question.
"Hyung, what am I?"
This was a question to which Seokjin did not have a clear answer.
The next day~
Jungkook's POV:
I was sitting at the table in the kitchen having my lunch when Namjoon hyung speaks up grabbing my attention.
"Jungkook, are you done with the book?" He says munching on his food. I nod my head as a yes and he tells me that I should go and return it to the Alpha head. Hell no!
"Hyung, can you take it back instead of me returning it?" He refuses saying it was rude of me not to return back the book by myself and moreover that I should thank the Alpha for lending me his book. Its not like I asked for the book from him. Maybe, I can find a chance when he is not in his office and return the book then. I finish my lunch and stand up with my plate in hand and walk towards the sink and place it there.
I make my way back to the room and sit down on my bed. I think about how my senses have started to become more sharp. I can smell things from quite far now. Its a wolf thing, right? But I was wondering if I can shift into my wolf form or not. I don't even know how that happens. When is the full moon though? It was stated in the book every wolf changes into their wolf form at a full moon night. I take a deep sigh looking at the bedside table where the book was placed.
"Lets go return you back."
I slightly open the door to peek outside and gladly no one was in view. Maybe I can go quickly, return the book and be back before anyone even knows it.
"The coast is clear, here I go." I step out of my room and close the door behind me slowly. I make way towards the main door and get out of the house. The moment I step out the fresh cool breeze hits my face which felt very refreshing. I look around to see a few people busy in their own work going here and there. No a single person pays attention to me. Well I am not complaining.I reach the Alpha head's house and enter the house after opening the door which gave a creaking sound like the one in horror movies. I shrug it off and walk with quick steps towards the office and reach for the door's knob and twist it open.
I step inside to see no one was there. Strong scent of something which I don't recognize hits my nose and I cough a little. I stop thinking about the scent and think where to put the book. The table or The bookshelf? Well I don't where did he take out the book from the bookshelf so let me leave the book on the table. I place the book on the table with a sticky note pasted on the cover of the book with words written "Thank You" I was just about to back away from the table when instead I freeze in my place.
"You know this is trespassing." The deep voices echoes in my ears like the previous times but this time it sounded abit different. Wait why did I not feel his scent if he was at home?
I gulp lightly and turn around slowly to see him wait correction the Alpha head standing right there with an unreadable expression on his face. He takes a step forward and I walk back. The more near he comes, I realize the scent was coming from him. But why was it changed? It was not his scent.
"W-why is your scent d-different?" Great why am I stuttering? Let me blame the situation.
He scoffs at my question and takes one more step and finally I am face to face with him. He looks at me and makes eye contact with me. The intensity in his deep hollow black eyes was unberable so I look away first and stare the ground instead.
"Its of alcohol." He takes a pause and grabs me by the chin gently all of sudden and makes me look back at him again. "What did I say last time?" I could not focus on his words as my attention was on where he grabbed my chin. The skin there was simply burning and some sort of spark was ignited in me. I started to get goosebumps and a shiver ran down my spine. What was going on with me? I feel the grip on my chin fade away slowly and I look at the man infront of me step back a little.
"Last time.. I asked you to call me Alpha." Completing the sentence he looks at me with the same neutral expression. I quickly realize what I did and apologize for it.
"I-I am sorry, Alpha." He hums in response and makes his way towards me again. My breath gets stuck in my throat when he stands at the very right side of me. His body touching mine and I freeze at the spot once again.
"What were you doing here?" He turns his head to side and speaks his breath hitting my ear lobe, sending more shivers down my spine. I am sure he saw me putting down the book on the table. I try to compose myself before I reply him.
"Oh I that Icametoreturnthebook." I say it finally in one go and hear a dark chuckle erupt from the man beside me. He turns fully towards me and I look at him. He looks at me with a angry annoyed look.
"The book, Alpha." I say almost quietly when I see him lean in towards my neck and my body stiffens up completely. He inhales at the crook of me neck and backs away the very next moment. I let out a shaky breath as a response and my heads starts to get dizzy. What is wrong with me? I should leave now.
"Still can't get it." He says with a bored expression on his face.
"Can I leave, Alpha?" I ask without hesitating for the first time and he hums simply in response. I take a step forward and he is standing in my way. I without looking at him speak up again.
"Can you step aside please?" He does so and I at once walk towards the door and open it as fast as I can, leaving the room with quick steps.
Taehyung's POV:
I look at his tiny figure disappearing in the dim sunlight that was entering the house from the living room's window. His scent had faded away completey now. I walk back to my table and sit down in my chair. I look to see the book which I gave him few days back. I reach for it and pick it up that's when something catches my eye. A small purple page with small carrots all over it sticked to the cover of the book.
"Thank you"
"Cute" I say followed with a chuckle afterwards.
I drop down the book from my hands back on the table and a small thud is heard. I lean back and spin around in my a chair a few times. I stop it while putting my hands on the edges of the table. I wonder why he was returning the book while sneaking in quitely. He is stupid enough as I could sense him when he set a foot in the house. His scent keeps changing from strong to faint and faint to strong. But I can't completely get what is it of? What's the other thing mixed with white lillies's scent?
Thinking about what I did earlier with the boy, my eyes go wide with realization. Shit! my scent on him-
"Its not my fault....
I take a deep breath and exhale out slowly.
"His scent is simply tempting..."
No one's pov:
Jungkook finally gets out of the house and he walks away from there with fast steps and in between turns back to take a quick glance behind him. He was about to turn back straight but he bumps into something. He pauses and looks up to see a boy with a cute eye-smile looking at him.
"Oh boy, look where you are going? The person infront of Jungkook says this to him.
"Sorry I was not paying attention." The boy infront of him glances him from head to toe.
"Wait, are you the boy from the city?" He asks with a warm smile. Jungkook simply nods as a yes in response.
"Hey, I was just looking for you. Namjoon asked me to accompany you. He said you are here since a week and have not met anyone except for him and Seokjin."
"Yeah, thats true but may I know who are you?" Jungkook asks with a confused expression.
"What? Namjoon did not tell you about his younger brother a.k.a me?" He says with a surprised face.
"Wait hyung did tell me. You are...
Jungkook scratches his head trying to remember what Namjoon told him about his brother.
"I have a younger brother, Jimin. He is the exact definition of a crackhead." Namjoon says laughing.
Jungkook remembers this and speaks up.
"You are Jimin."
"Yeah, that's me. Lets go to my place ? It will be fun." Jimin says with an exciting tone and smiles that make his eyes disappear. (I luv his eye smile <33)
Jungkook hesitates first but then agrees.
"Sure, lets go." Jungkook says with a small smile on his face.
They both start to walk side by side talking about random things making their way towards Jimin's house.
Notes:
So Jimin has made appearance in the story. He is going to be such a mood throughout the ff. Just wait for it. And the rest of BTS members will be revealed in the next chapter.

Chapter Text
No one's Pov:
Jimin and Jungkook enter the house and Jungkook takes a minute to look around it. The house was simple yet homey and felt cozy. He liked the interior of the house. Jimin ask Jungkook to settle down and goes away saying he wants him to meet someone. Jungkook looks from one side to the other awkwardly. He thought if Namjoon and Jin knew about him being here. What if they are worried right now? He is brought out of his thoughts when he hears Jimin calling his name.
"Jungkook.." He looks up to see Jimin. But there was an other man standing next to him rubbing his eyes slowly indicating he had just woken up.
"This is my husband, Min Yoongi." Jimin says gesturing towards the sleepy man.
Jungkook greets the man nicely and waits for him to reply back but the man all of a sudden speaks with a loud voice with a shocked face.
"Why is Taehyung's scent on you??"
"Um... who?" Jungkook bites his lower lip nervously while asking the question. The man walks over towards one of the sofas and settles down and faces Jungkook.
"Taehyung the Alpha head. Why is his scent on you?" The Yoongi man replies back and looks for an answer. That's when Jimin butts in and speaks up.
"Yoongs, I think you should go back to sleep." Yoongi simply shrugs at this and gets up and leaves before muttering a "You ask him, Minnie."
Jimin goes to sit beside Jungkook and put a hand on his shoulder in a reassuring way.
"Don't mind him, he was abit shocked to sense his brother's scent on you."
"Its okay, Jimin. As for the Alpha head's scent on me. I went to return the book he had lend me and I bumped into him while leaving his office. Maybe that's why his scent is on me." Jungkook lies as if it would be awkward. Him telling that the Alpha head sniffed at his neck and thats why he has his scent on him.
"Oh okay. So how about we play games?" Jungkook's eyes lit up at once upon hearing this and he immediately nods his head in agreement. Jimin chuckles at the cute behaviour of the boy.
"You wait here I will bring the videos games from the room upstairs." Jimin gets up and leaves the living room. He soon comes back with a box full of different video games and Jungkook and Jimin decide one of the games to play. They play for two to three hours non-stop and keep bickering throughout the games. The reason? Well, getting beaten by a kid multiple times hurt Jimin's pride and he finally threw away the gaming console and huffed angrily.
"How can someone be better than me at playing games? Hmph!" Jungkook chuckles at the silly behaviour of Jimin and makes a comment which makes Jimin even more angry.
"Just the way that someone is taller than you despite being younger than you." Jimin glares at Jungkook and slowly grabs a cushion from nearby on the sofa and gets up.
"How.dare.you?" His eyes grow darker and he swings the cushion in the direction of Jungkook but what happens next shocks him. The cushion does not even touch Jungkook instead it floats in the air just a centimetre away from his face and the next moment it drops to the floor with a light thud. Jimin looks in between the cushion on the floor and Jungkook's face which also showed the same expressions as him.
"H-how...? You just turned eighteen, right?" Jungkook gets even more confused by this question of Jimin's. He gets up and makes a excuse and leaves the house. He did promise Jimin to visit often before living.
Jungkook on the way back to Namjoon's house kept thinking about what happened earlier. How did he do that? Did he do that? and If he actually did that then why was Jimin so shocked? He opens the door of the house and goes inside. Namjoon and Seokjin were having tea when they look at the entering figure of Jungkook.
Jungkook announces that he is home and Namjoon smiles at this and signals him to come join them. Jungkook takes a seat beside and Seokjin pours a cup of tea for him.
"So did you return the book to the Alpha head? How did it go?" Hearing this, Jungkook chokes on his tea when the scene of the Alpha head sniffing his neck replays in his mind. He coughs a little and Seokjin gets worried as if to what happened but Jungkook assures him that its because the tea is very hot. He then tells Namjoon that he returned the book and then when he was coming back he met a guy named Jimin.
"You met Jimin?" Namjoon questions. Jungkook nods his head as a yes. Namjoon chuckles, "He can be a crackhead sometimes but he is a really a nice person. Did he tell you I am his brother?" Jungkook looks surprised at Namjoon and speaks up, "No, he did not say anything like this."
Jungkook finishes his cup of tea and gets up to go to his room. Seokjin follows him and enters his room right after him. Jungkook turns around and gets startled. "Oh, its you?"
"Yes, I wanted to ask something. Kook, why is the Alpha head's scent on you?" Jungkook eyes grow bigger in size in surprise and he avoids eye contact with Seokjin.
"Well, I went to return the book to Taehyung..." Seokjin cuts him between,"Taehyung? Who told you the Alpha head's name?"
"His brother, I met him at Jimin's house. He asked me the same thing but he said Taehyung instead of Alpha head so I got to know it."
"Okay. So why is there his scent on you?"
Jungkook had a little debate in his mind on whether to tell him the truth or not but he tells him anyways.
"What!? he scented you?? Why did he put his scent on you? I will go tell Namjoon right now." Before Jungkook could stop Seokjin, he had already left the room.
Jungkook sits down on his bed and scratches his neck thinking about that again.
"Why did he do that?"
Taehyung's POV:
I was in my room drinking wine and reading the same book that Jungkook returned to me. I have read it before but it now had his scent on it. I mindlink to hear the thoughts of him without him even having any idea of it. I chuckle at what I hear.
"Why did he do that?"
I have a very good reason for this but no worries he will get to know it soon too.
Just wait until, I figure it out myself,
my cute little mate.
To be continued...

Chapter Text
No One’s POV:
Jungkook lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling. His mind replayed everything that had happened in the past few days—the book, the strange floating cushion at Jimin's house, and most of all, Taehyung's lingering scent on him. Something about the Alpha head unsettled him, yet at the same time, it made his heart race.
"What the hell is wrong with me?" he mumbled, rubbing his temples.
His thoughts were cut short when the door to his room burst open. Seokjin entered, looking serious.
"Kook, come with me," he said.
Jungkook frowned. "Where?"
"Namjoon and I need to talk to you. It's important."
Jungkook sighed but followed Seokjin to the living room, where Namjoon was already waiting, arms crossed.
"Sit," Namjoon instructed.
Jungkook obeyed, suddenly feeling nervous under their scrutinizing gazes.
Seokjin wasted no time. "Did something happen between you and Taehyung?"
Jungkook tensed. "I told you, I just went to return the book—"
"And he scented you," Namjoon interrupted, his voice sharp. "That’s not normal, Jungkook."
Jungkook lowered his gaze. "I don't know why he did it."
Seokjin sighed, glancing at Namjoon. "We need to keep a closer eye on him. If Taehyung is interested in him… this could get complicated."
Jungkook frowned. "What do you mean? I—"
Before he could finish, a sudden wave of dizziness hit him. His vision blurred, and he clutched his head as a strange warmth spread through his body.
"Kook!" Seokjin rushed to his side.
Namjoon narrowed his eyes. "His energy is spiking."
Jungkook's breathing became uneven as flashes of unfamiliar memories flooded his mind—moonlight, glowing eyes, a powerful presence calling his name. Then, just as suddenly as it started, it stopped. He gasped, looking at his trembling hands.
"What… was that?"
Namjoon and Seokjin exchanged a look.
"It’s happening," Namjoon muttered under his breath.
---
Taehyung’s POV:
Taehyung stood on his balcony, a glass of wine in hand. The night was silent except for the distant howling of wolves. His red eyes gleamed under the moonlight as he took a slow sip.
Then, he felt it.
A sharp pulse of energy in the distance.
His smirk widened. He's awakening.
His fingers lightly traced the book Jungkook had returned to him, still faintly carrying the younger's scent. The scent was intoxicating, drawing him in like a force he couldn’t resist. He closed his eyes and focused, using his mind link to hear Jungkook’s thoughts.
"Why did he do that?"
Taehyung chuckled. You’ll find out soon enough, little one.
---
Jungkook’s POV:
Jungkook tossed and turned in bed that night, his body aching in a way he couldn’t describe. It felt like something inside him was trying to break free. His dreams were vivid—flashes of forests, glowing eyes, and a deep, growling voice calling his name.
He woke up with a gasp, his body covered in a cold sweat. His heart pounded wildly as he tried to calm his erratic breathing.
“What is happening to me?” he whispered.
Then, a scent filled the air. A scent he recognized instantly.
Taehyung.
Jungkook sat up abruptly, his senses on high alert. He turned towards his window, and his breath hitched.
There, standing outside in the shadows, was Taehyung. His piercing red eyes locked onto Jungkook’s, an unreadable expression on his face.
Jungkook swallowed hard, gripping his blanket. "What… what are you doing here?"
Taehyung didn't answer immediately. He stepped closer, his movements slow and calculated. "Did you feel it?"
Jungkook's brows furrowed. "Feel what?"
Taehyung's lips curled into a smirk. "The change."
Jungkook stiffened. He had no idea what was happening to him, but deep down, he knew Taehyung had the answers.
And he wasn’t sure if he was ready to hear them.

Chapter Text
Taehyung’s POV
Taehyung remained on his balcony, staring out at the moonlit forest. His sharp senses could still pick up Jungkook’s fluctuating energy, even from this distance. It was unstable—wild, like a force that had been caged for too long and was now clawing to break free.
A dark chuckle escaped his lips.
"So, it’s true," he murmured to himself.
The moment he first caught Jungkook’s scent, he knew the boy wasn’t just any ordinary werewolf. But now? Now it was confirmed—Jungkook was something more.
Something powerful.
Taehyung’s fingers tightened around the railing. This changed everything.
If Jungkook truly was what he suspected… then there was no way he’d let anyone else have him.
He turned away, already making up his mind.
It was time to test Jungkook himself.
---
Jungkook’s POV
The next morning, Jungkook decided he needed fresh air. His head still felt heavy from last night’s strange episode, and staying inside Namjoon's house wasn't helping.
As he walked through the pack's training grounds, he spotted Jimin, who waved excitedly. "Hey, Kookie!"
Jungkook managed a small smile. "Hey, Jimin."
Jimin tilted his head, noticing his tired expression. "You okay?"
"Yeah… just a lot on my mind."
Jimin nodded in understanding before smirking. "Wanna spar? It’ll help clear your head."
Jungkook hesitated but then agreed. Maybe moving his body would help.
The two stepped onto the training mat, and Jimin took the first swing. Jungkook dodged, moving instinctively. The match started lighthearted, with Jimin throwing playful jabs and Jungkook dodging or countering. But soon, something shifted.
Jungkook felt an odd sensation crawling up his spine. His body moved faster than he expected—his reflexes sharper than ever before. He could almost predict Jimin’s moves before he made them.
Jimin’s eyes widened. "Whoa—"
Before he could react, Jungkook moved without thinking, twisting around and pinning Jimin to the ground in one swift motion.
A stunned silence followed.
Jimin stared up at him, mouth slightly open. "Okay… where the hell did that come from?"
Jungkook’s heart pounded. He had no idea.
But before he could respond, a slow clap echoed through the air.
Jungkook turned his head sharply.
Standing a few feet away, watching them with amused, glowing eyes—was Taehyung.
"Impressive," the Alpha murmured. "Looks like you're finally waking up, little pup."
Jungkook stiffened. His pulse quickened—not just from the fight, but from the way Taehyung’s presence sent a shiver down his spine.
Something about the way Taehyung looked at him felt different. Like he knew something Jungkook didn’t.
And that terrified him.
No One’s POV
Jungkook felt his whole body tense under Taehyung’s gaze. The Alpha head stood with his arms crossed, his crimson eyes gleaming with something unreadable—amusement, interest… possession?
Jimin, still pinned beneath Jungkook, followed his line of sight and gulped. "Oh. It’s you."
Taehyung quirked a brow. "That’s not a very nice way to greet your Alpha head."
Jimin scoffed but didn’t say anything. Instead, he tapped Jungkook’s shoulder. "Uh, Kook? You mind letting me go before people start getting ideas?"
Jungkook snapped out of his daze and quickly got off Jimin, muttering an apology. But his attention was still locked on Taehyung.
"Why are you here?" Jungkook asked, his voice more defensive than he intended.
Taehyung smirked. "What? Am I not allowed to observe my pack training?"
Jungkook knew that wasn’t the reason. The way Taehyung’s gaze lingered on him specifically made it clear—he had come here for him.
Taehyung took a step forward. "Your reflexes were impressive back there."
Jungkook swallowed, unsure whether it was a compliment or something else entirely. "It was just a lucky move."
Taehyung chuckled, shaking his head. "No, it wasn’t. It was instinct. You felt Jimin’s next move before he even made it, didn’t you?"
Jungkook’s lips parted slightly, but no words came out.
Because Taehyung was right.
For a moment back there, it was as if his body had moved on its own, as if something inside him had guided him to counter Jimin before his brain could even process it.
Jimin looked between them, sensing the tension. "Okay, well, as entertaining as this is, I think I’m gonna go—"
"Stay," Taehyung said, voice firm.
Jimin groaned. "Damn it."
Taehyung’s attention shifted back to Jungkook. "Fight me."
Jungkook blinked. "What?"
Taehyung smirked. "Spar with me. Let’s see just how much of your 'luck' is real."
Jungkook hesitated. He wasn’t stupid—Taehyung was the Alpha head, far more skilled, stronger, and dangerous. But something in him—something buried deep—itched at the challenge.
"Fine," Jungkook said, stepping forward.
Jimin looked like he wanted to scream. "Oh my god, Kook, do you have a death wish?!"
Taehyung simply grinned, pleased by the answer. "Good."
The small crowd that had gathered around them backed away, giving them space. The air felt heavier, the tension almost suffocating.
Jungkook took a deep breath, forcing himself to focus. His muscles coiled as he prepared for Taehyung’s attack.
The Alpha didn’t waste time.
Taehyung lunged.
Jungkook barely had time to react before Taehyung’s fist came flying toward him. He dodged—just in time. But the force of the swing sent a gust of wind against his face, reminding him just how much power the Alpha held.
Jungkook pivoted, trying to counter with a kick, but Taehyung caught his ankle effortlessly. Before he could react, Taehyung yanked him forward—too fast for Jungkook to stop himself from stumbling.
Taehyung used that moment of imbalance to slam Jungkook down onto the mat.
A sharp gasp left Jungkook’s lips as he landed, but he quickly rolled away before Taehyung could pin him completely.
"Not bad," Taehyung mused, watching him get back on his feet. "But not good enough either."
Jungkook gritted his teeth. His instincts were screaming, his muscles burning, but something inside him refused to back down.
He exhaled sharply and let his body move on its own.
The next time Taehyung struck, Jungkook didn’t dodge consciously—he simply knew where the attack would land and countered it before it could hit. He twisted his body, ducking under Taehyung’s arm and spinning behind him.
For the first time, Taehyung looked mildly surprised.
Jungkook took the chance and launched forward, slamming his fist into Taehyung’s ribs. The hit connected.
The watching wolves gasped.
But Taehyung… only smirked.
"Interesting," he murmured.
Jungkook barely had time to react before Taehyung grabbed his wrist and yanked him forward—except this time, something shifted.
A sudden, powerful force surged through Jungkook’s body, raw and untamed.
Without thinking, Jungkook twisted their positions in an instant, his body moving faster than should have been possible. And before anyone could even process what had happened—
Taehyung was the one slammed against the ground.
The entire training ground went silent.
Jungkook panted, his hands gripping Taehyung’s wrists, pinning him down. His chest heaved as he stared down at the Alpha, his own eyes wide in shock.
Because he shouldn’t have been able to do that.
Yet he had.
Taehyung, still lying beneath him, let out a slow chuckle.
"Well," he mused, crimson eyes dark with something unreadable. "That was unexpected."
Jungkook quickly scrambled away, heart pounding.
The crowd started murmuring, whispers growing louder.
"Did he just pin down the Alpha head?"
"That’s impossible..."
Jungkook swallowed hard, his hands trembling. He turned to Jimin, who looked just as shocked as the others.
"What… what just happened?" Jungkook whispered.
Jimin stared at him. "I think…" He hesitated before finishing, "I think you just overpowered an Alpha."
Jungkook’s stomach twisted.
Meanwhile, Taehyung sat up, watching Jungkook with renewed interest. His smirk was gone, replaced by something more dangerous.
Jungkook panted, his heart hammering in his chest. The reality of what just happened hadn’t fully sunk in yet.
He had pinned Taehyung.
The Alpha head.
The strongest wolf in the entire pack.
The murmurs around them were growing louder, but all Jungkook could focus on was Taehyung himself. The Alpha was no longer smirking, no longer taunting. Instead, he was watching Jungkook with an expression he couldn't quite decipher—part intrigue, part amusement, and something deeper. Something unreadable.
Jungkook took a shaky step back. His hands were still trembling.
Taehyung brushed off his clothes before stepping closer. “An untamed river does not know its own depth,” Taehyung murmured, tilting his head as if studying him. "Not until it swallows the land whole."
Jungkook blinked, confused. "What—?"
Taehyung leaned in slightly, lowering his voice so only Jungkook could hear.
"And you, little wolf, are a storm disguised as a breeze."
Jungkook felt a shiver run down his spine.
Taehyung stepped back, stretching as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. Then, as if the entire event had been nothing more than a casual occurrence, he turned on his heel.
"Come with me," Taehyung said over his shoulder.
Jungkook frowned. "Where?"
Taehyung finally looked back, his crimson eyes glinting with something unreadable.
"To my house," he said simply. "I think it’s time we had a proper talk."
Jungkook’s breath caught. The weight of those words settled heavily in his chest.
He didn’t know why, but something told him—this wasn’t just about a simple conversation.

Chapter 8: Seven
Summary:
Fate ties them, but Jungkook refuses to be claimed. An omega with Enigma blood, a powerful Alpha, and a bond he won’t accept—no matter how much his body betrays him.
Chapter Text
The room is silent. The kind of silence that presses down, thick with tension. Jungkook’s breathing is heavy, his chest rising and falling as he stands before Taehyung. His body hums with unexplainable energy—something foreign, powerful, and entirely out of his control. His instincts scream at him, warning him that something is changing.
And Taehyung… watches.
His crimson eyes burn like embers, unwavering, unreadable. The weight of his presence is suffocating, demanding.
"You feel it, don’t you?" Taehyung finally says, voice low, composed.
Jungkook clenches his fists. He doesn’t want to acknowledge it. The heat in his veins. The way his senses sharpen. The strange pull he feels toward the Alpha standing in front of him. “…What’s happening to me?” he grits out.
Taehyung steps closer. Not rushed, not threatening—controlled.
“You’re special, Jungkook.” His voice is steady, but there’s something final about it. “You were never just a half-blood. Your father was an Enigma.”
Jungkook’s breath hitches. “An Enigma…?” He swallows. “That’s impossible. I—”
“It’s the truth.” Taehyung cuts him off. “You’re a rare case. An omega with an Enigma’s blood running through your veins.” He pauses, eyes darkening. “That makes you more powerful than any of us.” Jungkook stares, his heartbeat pounding against his ribs. It doesn’t make sense. He’s just… Jungkook. A half-blood omega. He never asked to be anything else.
“Bullshit,” Jungkook snaps, voice uneven, laced with anger he doesn’t understand.
The air shifts.
In an instant, Taehyung’s gaze hardens, something dangerous flickering beneath the surface. “Watch your mouth,” Taehyung warns, voice quiet—too quiet. “Don’t curse in front of me again.” Jungkook’s jaw tightens, but the weight of the warning settles deep in his chest. He’s not sure why, but something in him reacts to Taehyung’s authority, like an instinct buried too deep to understand.
Taehyung exhales, like he expected this reaction. “You don’t have to believe me. But you feel it, don’t you? The heat. The instincts you can’t control.” He steps even closer, and Jungkook’s body betrays him—reacting, his breath hitching.
He hates it.
“I don’t want this,” Jungkook snaps.
Taehyung tilts his head. “That doesn’t change what you are.”
Jungkook’s hands tremble. His body is burning, his emotions spiraling. And then—he makes a mistake.
He lunges.
It’s reckless, driven purely by his need to run, to get away from this truth he never asked for. His claws extend, aiming to shove Taehyung away.
But Taehyung doesn’t even blink.
In a second, Jungkook is pinned against the wall, breath knocked from his lungs. Taehyung’s grip on his wrists is unbreakable. “Let. Me. Go.” Jungkook growls, voice deeper, distorted—almost inhuman.
Taehyung watches him with unsettling calmness. “You’re baring your fangs at me.”
Jungkook freezes.
Fangs?
He barely processes it at first, but then—he feels them. Sharp. Pressing against his bottom lip. What the fuck—
Panic flashes through him, but he doesn’t get the chance to react. Taehyung moves before he can think. He yanks Jungkook forward—bodies flush—and kisses him.
It’s not gentle. It’s not soft. It’s a warning, a demand, a claim. Jungkook makes a muffled noise, eyes flying wide. He struggles, pushes against Taehyung’s chest, but the moment the Alpha deepens the kiss—power pressing down on him—his body betrays him. His claws retract. His resistance weakens. His knees almost buckle.
When Taehyung finally pulls away, his thumb brushes over Jungkook’s lips—now swollen, tingling.
“An Alpha is the only one who can control their mate when they lose themselves,” Taehyung murmurs. His voice is low, firm. “And you… are mine.”
Jungkook’s breath is uneven, his thoughts a mess. He wants to protest. Wants to fight. But his body trembles in response. And the worst part? He doesn’t know if it’s anger, humiliation… or something far more dangerous curling in his stomach.
“You know it too. You think about it alot and honestly your thoughts are quite loud..” Taehyung cuts him off, his gaze unwavering.
Jungkook freezes. He has been listening every single thought of his, it simply made him feel insecure. Ever since he got here, ever since Taehyung first looked at him with those burning red eyes, something inside him has felt… off. Like a constant hum under his skin, an itch he can’t scratch.
But that doesn’t mean—
“That doesn’t mean we’re mates,” Jungkook spits out, desperate to reject it. Taehyung raises an eyebrow. “Then why is your body reacting to me?”
Jungkook hates that he has no answer. Taehyung steps closer—so close their breaths mix—and Jungkook feels it again. That suffocating presence. That undeniable pull. “You don’t understand yet,” Taehyung murmurs, watching him closely. “But you will.” Jungkook glares at him, refusing to accept this. Refusing to accept him.
“I don’t belong to you,” he says, voice firm.
Taehyung tilts his head slightly, almost mocking. “Is that so?” And then—he lets go.
Jungkook stumbles slightly at the sudden loss of pressure, his body still buzzing with unwanted energy. He should run. He should leave this room and pretend none of this ever happened. But his legs refuse to move.
Taehyung’s voice cuts through the silence. “Whether you accept it or not, Jungkook…” His red eyes gleam, unreadable. “You’re mine.”
Jungkook clenches his fists, his body still betraying him. His instincts scream at him to listen, but his mind is louder—refusing to give in. So he lifts his chin defiantly.
“Over my dead body.”
Taehyung smirks. “We’ll see.”
For a moment, silence hangs between them, thick and heavy. Taehyung watches Jungkook like a predator watching prey— unmoving, unreadable. Then, without breaking eye contact, Taehyung steps back. “Get out.”
Jungkook stiffens. “What?”
Taehyung’s expression is cold, detached, as if the last few minutes never happened. “You heard me. Leave.” Jungkook should feel relieved. This is what he wanted, right? To be as far away from him as possible. So why does it feel like a dismissal? Like he’s just been cast aside?
Jungkook forces his jaw to unclench. He glares at Taehyung one last time, willing his legs to move, to not look back. And then—he leaves.
The door shuts behind him with a quiet click. Taehyung stays where he is, staring at the empty space Jungkook left behind. His fingers twitch at his sides, his smirk slowly fading. He exhales, eyes flickering toward the door.
“This is going to be difficult.”
Chapter 9: Eight
Summary:
Jungkook resists, but Taehyung is done waiting. One bite seals their bond, overwhelming Jungkook and forcing Taehyung to catch him—hold him—protect him. Just for tonight, he allows himself this moment.
Chapter Text
Taehyung’s POV:
The door clicks shut.
Taehyung watches the space Jungkook left behind, crimson eyes flickering with something unreadable. He lifts a hand to his mouth, thumb grazing his lips. Jungkook’s taste still lingers—faint, but undeniable.
And that… is a problem.
He exhales slowly, fingers curling at his sides. This is going to be difficult.
Jungkook is stubborn, headstrong, unwilling to accept what is already written in his blood. Taehyung could see it—the war raging inside him, the instinct he refused to acknowledge.
But instincts don’t fade. They don’t submit to denial.
They only grow louder.
Taehyung tilts his head, listening. He doesn’t have to see Jungkook to know—his heartbeat is erratic, his footsteps uneven. He’s affected. Even if he fights it, his body knows the truth.
And yet, he’s trying to run.
Annoying.
Taehyung steps forward. Calm. Measured. He follows Jungkook’s scent—intoxicating, filled with lingering defiance. His body moves before his mind decides, before he can tell himself to wait.
But patience is a luxury he no longer has.
Jungkook doesn’t hear him coming.
Not until Taehyung’s fingers curl around the front of his shirt—until he’s slammed into the nearest wall with just enough force to steal his breath.
Jungkook gasps, wide-eyed. Then—immediate resistance. He shoves at Taehyung, snarling. “Let me go—”
“No.”
The word is final. Absolute.
Jungkook struggles harder, but it’s useless. Taehyung’s grip remains firm, his body pressing closer, caging him in. He watches as realization flickers in Jungkook’s eyes—an understanding that this time, Taehyung won’t just let him walk away.
"Over your dead body, right?" Taehyung murmurs, voice low.
Jungkook glares, breath ragged. “Yeah.”
A lie.
Taehyung knows because he can feel the truth in Jungkook’s pulse, hammering wildly against his skin. He knows because, despite the fight in Jungkook’s eyes, his body is betraying him.
And Taehyung… is done waiting.
He leans in. Slowly. Deliberately.
Jungkook stiffens as Taehyung’s breath ghosts over his throat. His scent spikes—uncertainty, heat, something dangerously close to surrender.
Taehyung smirks against his skin. “Liar.”
Jungkook opens his mouth—maybe to curse, maybe to protest—
But it doesn’t matter.
Because Taehyung sinks his fangs in.
Jungkook jerks—breath hitching, body tensing—but he doesn’t fight. Not really. His fingers twitch against Taehyung’s chest, gripping fabric instead of pushing him away.
Taehyung exhales through his nose, his jaw tightening. He can taste it—Jungkook’s essence, his presence, his submission. It floods his senses, more addictive than anything he’s ever known.
But it’s not just about the taste.
It’s about claiming. About making sure Jungkook can’t deny this anymore.
The bond snaps into place.
A deep, unbreakable thread.
The reaction is instant. Jungkook’s breath shudders, his body swaying as a wave of heat crashes through him. His fingers twitch, then clench, his eyes fluttering.
Taehyung’s brows furrow.
Jungkook trembles—his skin flushed, his breathing uneven. His heartbeat, once frantic, now wavers—unsteady, disoriented.
“…Jungkook?”
Jungkook doesn’t respond. His knees buckle.
Taehyung catches him before he can hit the ground.
His body is limp, his lashes fluttering, his lips parted as he struggles to keep his eyes open.
The bond is overwhelming him.
Taehyung clicks his tongue, adjusting his grip to scoop Jungkook into his arms. He’s warm—too warm. His scent is a mess of confusion and exhaustion, his body unprepared for the sudden surge of connection.
Annoying.
But expected.
With an exhale, Taehyung carries him effortlessly, taking slow, measured steps toward his bedroom. The hallway is silent, the moon casting long shadows as he walks.
Jungkook murmurs something—soft, barely audible—his fingers weakly curling into Taehyung’s shirt.
Taehyung ignores it.
When he reaches his bedroom, he lays Jungkook down carefully, adjusting the covers over him. His gaze lingers on the mark—fresh, deep, his.
Satisfied, Taehyung leans back, arms crossed. He watches as Jungkook shifts in his sleep, face peaceful despite the chaos that awaits him when he wakes.
His eyes trace the delicate curve of Jungkook’s face, the way his dark lashes rest softly against his flushed cheeks. He looks… peaceful like this. Vulnerable. The usual defiance is gone, replaced with something softer.
Taehyung exhales, tilting his head. Cute.
The thought comes unbidden, and he frowns at himself.
Jungkook is annoying, reckless, always picking fights he can’t win. But right now, in the dim glow of the moonlight, with his soft breaths filling the silence—
He looks like something Taehyung wants to protect.
Tch.
Shaking his head, Taehyung moves to leave—
Only for Jungkook to shift, a faint whimper escaping his lips. His body tenses, as if searching for warmth, instinctively reaching out for something that isn’t there.
Taehyung stills.
A sigh escapes him, and before he can think twice, he’s moving again.
The bed dips under his weight as he slides in beside Jungkook. Carefully. Slowly.
Jungkook stirs but doesn’t wake.
Taehyung pulls him close, tucking the younger boy against his chest. His arms wrap around him, firm yet gentle, grounding him through the bond.
Jungkook relaxes instantly.
His breath evens out, his body molding against Taehyung’s warmth.
Taehyung exhales through his nose, watching the way Jungkook unconsciously burrows closer, his small hands resting against Taehyung’s chest.
He shakes his head. This boy sure is a handful..
But for now… he allows himself this moment.
Just for tonight.
Chapter 10: Nine
Summary:
The day after being claimed by Taehyung, Jungkook confronts him and has his head all messed up..
"Could this get any worse?"
Chapter Text
Jungkook’s POV:
Warm light brushes against his eyelids, soft and golden.
Morning.
Jungkook shifts beneath the covers, slow and sluggish, every inch of his body aching in unfamiliar ways. His muscles are sore, his chest feels tight, and there's a strange warmth curled around him that doesn't belong.
His eyes blink open, squinting against the sunlight filtering through gauzy curtains. For a second, he’s disoriented. The sheets aren’t his. The room isn’t his. The scent surrounding him is–
Tch.
Taehyung.
The realization crashes in like a wave. His body stiffens as last night hits him in pieces—hot breath, sharp fangs, that damned bond pulsing to life under his skin. His hand instinctively rises to his neck, fingers brushing over the raw, tender spot where Taehyung bit him.
Claimed him.
Marked him.
Shit.
He doesn’t know whether to scream or break something.
Before he can move, he feels the arm wrapped around his waist shift. Taehyung’s chest presses close, a low hum vibrating against Jungkook’s back. "You're awake."
Jungkook’s jaw clenches. “Let go.”
“Mmm, morning to you too.” Taehyung murmurs, his voice rasping with sleep. “You’re warm. Stay a little longer.”
Jungkook wriggles out of the hold, twisting around to face him. “You bit me.. I didn’t ask for this.”
Taehyung props himself up on one elbow, looking way too unbothered for someone who just violated someone’s free will. “No, but you didn’t stop me either.”
“Because I was overwhelmed—!”
“You arched into it, Jungkook,” Taehyung adds lazily, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “Don’t lie to me. Or to yourself.”
Jungkook's eyes flare.
“Go to hell.”
“I’ll see you there,” he replies, unfazed. “Bonded right next to you.”
Jungkook curses under his breath, throwing the covers back as he swings his legs over the side of the bed. He’s still dizzy, still hot all over, but he forces himself to stand. He can’t stay here.
Taehyung watches him, chin resting on his palm. “Where do you think you’re going?”
“Home.”
“Don’t be stupid. You’re not ready to walk around with the bond this fresh. You’ll get lightheaded. Confused. Your senses are already acting up.”
“I’ll live.”
“Will you?”
Jungkook stops at the door, shoulders stiff. “I didn’t ask for this.”
“But you need it,” Taehyung says softly. “Whether you admit it or not.”
Jungkook doesn’t respond. He reaches for the door handle, pausing just briefly as Taehyung adds, voice quieter now:
“I would’ve waited. If you asked me to but you straightforwardly refused. I don't regret forcing the claim on you.”
The words twist something sharp inside Jungkook, but he doesn’t look back.
He leaves.
The hallway is warm with sunlight, but Jungkook feels cold. His steps are steady, but his chest is in knots.
---
The forest air hit like a slap—crisp, cold, grounding.
Jungkook breathed it in greedily. Trees stretched high above him, the sunlight filtering through thick canopies in golden strands. The forest floor was soft with moss and old leaves, familiar paths leading him home even as his heart thudded in a frantic rhythm.
Everything smelled stronger. Felt sharper. His senses were humming, heightened from the bond Taehyung forced between them.
He hated it.
…Or maybe he hated that part of him didn’t.
“Who the hell he thinks he is?” he muttered under his breath, kicking a pine cone off the path as he walked faster. “I will never be his mate.”
But it didn’t matter anymore.
He was his now. Fated or not—claimed.
Jungkook’s jaw clenched as the cabin finally came into view—his real home. Tucked at the edge of the river bend, wooden and cozy, with flowers blooming at the window boxes because Seokjin insisted on beauty even in the wild.
Warmth swelled in his chest before he could stop it.
---
The door creaked open.
Inside, the smell of eggs and toasted bread welcomed him instantly. A pan sizzled on the stove, and laughter—soft and sweet—floated from the small kitchen table where Seokjin sat, still in his robe, flipping through a recipe book while Namjoon leaned over, stealing a kiss from his cheek.
Jungkook froze in the doorway.
The moment they saw him—quiet, barefoot, cheeks flushed from the cold—they both straightened.
“Jungkook,” Namjoon said first, voice low, concerned.
Seokjin stood. “You’re home,” he said gently. “Are you okay? Taehyung said you were sleeping over.. I wanted to fight with him but Joonie stopped me.."
He wasn’t sure how to answer that. He nodded instead.
Namjoon’s eyes narrowed just slightly, flicking to the collar of Jungkook’s sweater—the spot where the bond mark burned like a brand under the fabric. “He did it, didn’t he?” he asked softly.
Jungkook’s throat tightened. “…Yeah.”
Seokjin’s expression softened, full of quiet worry, but he didn’t push. “Come. Sit. Eat something.”
“I’m not really hungry…”
“I didn’t ask, pup,” Seokjin said, voice warm but firm. “You need food.”
He moved to sit, the kitchen chair cool beneath him as Namjoon placed a mug of tea in front of him. The warmth of it seeped into his hands as the silence stretched.
“You don’t have to talk about it yet,” Namjoon said after a while. “But when you’re ready, we’re here.”
Jungkook looked at them—his family. His safe place.
He nodded again. “Thanks,” he whispered.
And as Seokjin sat beside him and nudged a plate closer, and Namjoon reached over to ruffle his hair gently, Jungkook felt something settle.
He wasn’t okay but he was in a place that felt like home.
---
Chapter 11: Ten
Chapter Text
Jungkook’s POV
The tea is lukewarm by the time he finishes it.
It settles heavy in his stomach, like the silence that followed his whispered “thanks.”
Namjoon and Seokjin don’t say much else, just keep stealing glances at him with that quiet kind of worry that makes his skin itch.
He doesn’t know how to sit still. He never has.
Especially not when something inside him is clawing, restless, screaming in a voice that isn’t entirely his.
The bond is there. Buzzing low and deep beneath his skin like static. He can feel it, damn it—feel Taehyung, even now. That arrogant warmth. That hunger. That... possessive calm that has no business curling around his spine like a fucking leash.
“Going out,” he mutters suddenly, pushing his chair back.
Namjoon looks up. “Jungkook—”
“I just need some air.”
“You just came from the forest,” Seokjin says with that sharp, too-knowing voice of his.
Jungkook doesn’t respond. He pulls on a jacket and heads for the door anyway.
---
The river is calm this time of day.
It sparkles in the sunlight, like it has no idea what kind of war is going on inside him. His reflection in the water looks pale, hollow-eyed, and angrier than he wants to admit.
He crouches near the edge, fingers curling in the grass.
His breath hitches. Because the bond hums again.
Low. Steady. Calling.
And Jungkook knows what that means.
He’s close. That bastard—
He turns sharply. And there he is.
Taehyung, standing just beyond the trees, all dark coat and wild hair and moon-silver eyes that flicker down to Jungkook’s neck like he owns it.
“Missed me already?” Taehyung’s voice is silk dragged across steel.
Jungkook’s fingers curl into fists. “Get lost.”
Taehyung tilts his head, like he’s amused. “You walked away, pup. Doesn’t mean I can’t follow.”
“You shouldn’t.”
“But I did.” He takes a step forward. “And I will.”
Jungkook’s pulse kicks up.
“Why?” he asks, suddenly breathless. “Why couldn’t you just leave me the fuck alone?”
Taehyung’s smirk slips.
For a second—just a second—his expression cracks into something honest. Something dangerous in a different way.
“Because the second I saw you,” he says quietly, “I knew you were mine. And I don’t share.”
Jungkook swallows hard. “I’m not yours.”
Taehyung closes the space between them in one smooth, steady walk. And this time, when he reaches out, he doesn’t touch Jungkook—just stands there, close enough to smell like pine and smoke and something older.
“But you are, Jungkook. And the bond will make sure you know it.”
Jungkook shivers. “I hate you.”
Taehyung’s smile returns, slow and wicked. “No, you don’t. You wish you did.”
Jungkook exhales sharply, heart thundering in his chest. “You don’t get to do this. You don’t get to bite me, claim me, then walk into my life like it’s yours to wreck.”
“I already did.”
“I’ll fight it.”
“Then fight it.”
That voice—low, commanding, Alpha—wraps around him like velvet and chains.
And Jungkook, for all his rage, feels his knees weaken. Not out of fear. But because the bond answers. Because something inside him wants to surrender even if he never will.
“I’m not your mate,” he whispers, broken.
Taehyung steps closer, until there’s only breath between them.
“No,” he says softly. “You’re my obsession.”
Taehyung’s POV
Jungkook’s voice is a tremble.
“I’m not your mate.”
Taehyung’s breath catches.
He should be angry. Should feel that spark of fury again—the one that roars every time this boy denies him. But right now, all he feels is want.
Not the kind that settles. The kind that devours.
He steps closer, slow, predatory, until their breaths mix in the cold air. Jungkook is trembling, chest rising fast, hands clenched like he’s trying to hold something in.
And all Taehyung can think is—he’s so fucking beautiful like this.
Soft, cornered, defiant.
Taehyung could kiss him.
Could drag his teeth over that mark again and remind him what it means to belong but he doesn’t.
Instead, he leans in just a little closer, his voice low, intimate. Dangerous.
“No,” he murmurs. “You’re my obsession.”
There’s a pause.
A flicker in Jungkook’s eyes—fear, confusion, heat. Taehyung sees it all.
He doesn’t smile this time because this… this is the truth. Not some playful flirtation. Not teasing. It’s a confession born of hunger. Of need.
From the first time he saw him, bruised and wild-eyed, holding back tears in the rain outside Namjoon’s truck—he knew.
Knew he’d unravel for this boy. Knew he’d ruin himself to keep him. And now the bond only makes it worse.
Every emotion Jungkook feels ripples inside him like it’s his own. The fury, the pain, the craving he won’t admit. It all lashes against Taehyung’s ribs like a wild storm.
He wants to tear his own skin off to feel it more clearly. Wants to sink into him so deep, Jungkook forgets where he ends and Taehyung begins.
“I’ll break the bond,” Jungkook suddenly whispers, sharp and shaky. “I’ll find a way.”
Taehyung’s jaw tightens. “No, you won’t.”
“You don’t control me.”
“Oh, but I do,” Taehyung growls, voice dropping. “You just don’t realize it yet.”
Jungkook flinches. But he doesn’t step back. He stays right there—right in Taehyung’s space—and Taehyung swears he feels it.
That flicker of desire. The part of him that aches. Even if he’s too proud to say it.
So Taehyung lets the silence stretch. Lets it thicken like fog, heavy and suffocating between them. Then he leans in, lips ghosting near Jungkook’s ear.
“You can run, Jungkook. You can lie. You can scream and curse me ‘til your voice breaks.”
His breath fans over skin, slow and deliberate. “But this bond? It’s alive now. It’s in your blood.” He pulls back, just enough to meet those wide, tear-glassy eyes. “And you will crawl back to me.”
Jungkook doesn’t speak. Doesn’t move. But Taehyung sees it.
The tremble in his jaw. The way his pupils dilate. The war in his heart, tearing him down and Taehyung smiles, sharp and cold. Then he turns his back.
Leaves.
Because he’s won this round.
And the next time Jungkook breaks?
He’ll be right there, waiting.
Chapter 12: Eleven
Summary:
Something is wrong with Jungkook as he starts to lose control over himself- Taehyung rushes to help him
Chapter Text
The river hadn’t moved.
It glittered like it always did—soft, slow, innocent. Mocking.
Jungkook stood there long after Taehyung left, the wind crawling down his back, the mark on his neck still burning. It pulsed in quiet waves, warm and possessive, like a whisper curled into his spine.
He didn’t move. Couldn’t.
Because something wasn’t right.
It wasn’t just the bond this time. It was his own self.
His fingers twitched. The veins under his skin throbbed, pale then silver, then pale again.
And beneath everything—the fear, the ache, the bond—there was something else.
Something that wasn’t Taehyung.
Something older.
And it was waking up.
He turned without thought, body drawn by instinct. His legs moved before his mind could catch up. He barely registered the trees he passed, or the sting of branches slicing his skin. His mind was a blur, his body on fire. Every breath he took felt like he was swallowing static.
By the time he reached the cabin, he was shaking.
He said nothing as he entered.
Namjoon was in the kitchen. Seokjin sat near the hearth.
They both looked up, startled. Jungkook didn’t respond. He walked straight past them to his room, chest heaving, heart hammering loud enough to echo in his ears.
His vision blurred.
He stumbled into the bathroom, slammed the door behind him, and braced both palms on the sink.
His reflection stared back at him through the cracked mirror—messy hair, pale skin, and beneath it all, his eyes—
Too black.
The silver bled into them now like frost spreading under glass. His pupils were dilated, swallowing up the whites.
“What is wrong with me.." he whispered. “No, no, no—”
The bond was still there—pulling, aching, wanting—but this wasn’t the bond. This was something different. Something deeper. His skin hummed. The mark on his neck flared. But so did the veins across his chest. They lit up like a map drawn in lightning.
It hurt.
God, it hurt.
He clutched the edge of the sink harder, trying to breathe through the pressure building in his lungs.
This wasn’t supposed to happen.
He was supposed to be safe now.
With Namjoon. With Seokjin. With the pack.
But his blood had other plans.
It boiled beneath his skin like molten metal. A low sound crawled out of his throat—half sob, half snarl.
And then—
Crack.
The cabinet beside him rattled. A bottle fell off the shelf and shattered against the tile.
He hadn’t touched it.
His eyes widened. Breath caught.
“No—”
But the glow was spreading.
His arms. His hands. His fingers. All lit with threads of silver light.
His hand trembled violently.
Then—
Shatter.
The bathroom mirror cracked down the center, a sharp jagged line slicing through his reflection.
A few moments later, a gentle knock.
"Jungkook?" Seokjin’s voice was soft, cautious. "Dinner’s ready. You should come eat."
No reply.
"Jungkook?"
The silence on the other side sent a chill down Seokjin’s spine.
He opened the door.
And froze.
Jungkook was on the floor.
His body trembled uncontrollably, breath ragged, sweat coating his skin. Silver light pulsed beneath his skin, glowing through his veins. His eyes were half-lidded, unfocused, glowing faintly with that same unnatural shimmer.
The broken mirror behind him sparkled on the tile like ice.
Seokjin didn’t hesitate.
He turned on his heel, sprinted into the main room. "Namjoon!" he shouted. "Get Taehyung. Now."
Namjoon looked up sharply. "What’s wrong?"
"It’s happening," Seokjin said, breathless. "The bond isn’t holding. His blood—his power—it’s waking up. Taehyung’s the only one who might be able to calm him down."
Namjoon didn’t question it.
He grabbed his jacket, bolted out the door, and ran.
The distance to Taehyung’s house wasn’t far—but in that moment, it felt endless. The wind bit at his face, twigs snapping underfoot as he tore through the trees.
He reached the door and pounded against it. "Taehyung!"
Nothing.
"Taehyung, open the damn door! It’s Jungkook—he’s losing control!"
The door yanked open.
Taehyung stood there, shirt half-buttoned, eyes narrowed. "What?"
"He needs you. Now."
Taehyung didn’t ask. He shoved past Namjoon, sprinting through the trees.
The front door slammed open under Taehyung’s shoulder.
Darkness swallowed the room.
He stepped in slowly. The air was thick. Not like smoke—more like pressure. Like stepping into the eye of a storm.
A shout.
Followed by a loud grunt.
Seokjin.
Taehyung’s eyes snapped toward the hall just in time to see him hit the wall with a pained sound, sliding to the floor.
Jungkook stood in front of his room door. His entire body shimmered with silver light. Eyes fully alight, veins branching silver beneath translucent skin.
He wasn’t looking at Seokjin.
He was looking straight at him.
For a second—everything stopped.
Then Jungkook moved.
Fast.
Faster than Taehyung had ever seen him move.
He rushed forward in a silver blur, air cracking around him, and before Taehyung could even brace himself—
Jungkook’s hand was at his throat.
Pressed against the wall, breath caught in his chest, Taehyung stared back.
Jungkook’s eyes burned into him.
Not empty.
Not wild.
But recognizing.
The thing inside him—whatever it was—it knew Taehyung.
And it hadn’t decided yet if it would spare him.
Jungkook’s voice was low, rasping, almost not his own.
"Tell me, Alpha..." he whispered, breath fanning hot against Taehyung’s skin, "will you still want me... when I stop being human?"
Chapter 13: Twelve
Summary:
Jungkook loses control. Taehyung calms him with love.
Something darker is coming.
Chapter Text
The silence after Jungkook’s question was heavy. His breath ghosted against Taehyung’s throat, hot, unsteady. Fingers curled just enough to remind him—he could crush him. He was strong enough now.
But he hadn’t. Not yet.
Taehyung didn’t flinch. Didn’t move. His hand slowly came up, wrapping around Jungkook’s wrist—not to push away, but to ground him.His voice was quiet but steady.
“I never wanted you for your humanity, Jungkook.”
A flicker.
Barely visible—but Jungkook stilled. The glow behind his irises pulsed once, flickering like candlelight in wind.
“I wanted you,” Taehyung said, leaning forward just slightly, voice dropping, rough with something close to desperation. “The fire. The defiance. The blood that sings like war drums under your skin.”
Jungkook’s grip faltered.
“But you—” Taehyung’s eyes narrowed, tone turning sharp, biting, “—you think this power is stronger than me?”
A growl curled low in Jungkook’s chest. Dangerous. Hungry.
Taehyung smirked.
"Then prove it."
Jungkook’s body moved before thought. Silver lit veins twisting like roots across his chest. His palm slammed into the wall beside Taehyung’s head, cracking it.
But Taehyung didn’t even blink.
“You think I’m afraid of what’s waking up inside you?” he murmured, pressing up on his toes, breath brushing against Jungkook’s jaw. “I marked you, remember? Your power doesn’t scare me, Jungkook. But losing you does.”
That—that—was what finally broke through.
The tension in Jungkook’s body snapped like a bowstring. His breath hitched.
He stumbled back a step, eyes wide, glowing still—but softer now. Confused.
“I…” His voice cracked. “I didn’t mean to hurt anyone.”
“You didn’t,” Seokjin said gently, rubbing his shoulder as he slowly rose from the floor. “You just couldn’t control it.”
“It’s not just the bond anymore,” Jungkook whispered. “It’s me. Something inside me. It’s… it’s hungry.”
Namjoon stepped into the room, face pale, eyes filled with worry. “Then we learn what it is. And we tame it. Together.”
But Taehyung moved first.
He stepped in close again, grabbed Jungkook’s face with both hands—firm, grounding. His thumbs brushed gently over those trembling cheekbones, forcing him to look.
“I don’t care if you grow fangs and tear the moon in half,” he said, voice low and rough. “You’re mine, Jungkook. Mine. You don’t get to run from me—not when I’m the one who chose to love the monster too.”
Jungkook blinked, the glow behind his eyes dimming, a tear slipping hot and fast down his cheek.
Taehyung caught it with his thumb. Then he leaned in slowly… and pressed his lips to Jungkook’s forehead.
A kiss full of heat and devotion and silent promises.
It wasn’t lust—it was claiming. A vow.
And Jungkook—his breath hitched. His chest crumbled.
He stepped forward and buried himself into Taehyung’s chest, arms wrapping tight around his waist. Clutching. Needing.
Taehyung held him. Arms like armor. Like home.
His nose brushed Jungkook’s hair, lips lingering against his temple.
“You’re not going through this alone,” he whispered into his hair. “Not anymore.”
And for the first time in days, Jungkook let go.
He didn’t say anything.
He just held on tighter.
---
Later that night, Seokjin watched them from the doorway, arms folded across his chest.
“They’re dangerous together,” he murmured.
Namjoon nodded slowly beside him. “But maybe that’s exactly what we need.”
Because something else was stirring.
Something darker than any of them had felt before.
And it was coming.
Chapter 14: Thirteen
Summary:
The Black Ember Pack sets their sights on Jungkook, the rare enigma omega. With Mingyu—a pureblood enigma—ready to claim him, Jackson plots to challenge Taehyung’s hold. Power clashes and hidden desires ignite as the battle for Jungkook begins.
Chapter Text
Morning came slow.
Sunlight filtered gently through the wooden blinds, casting pale lines across tangled sheets and bare skin. Jungkook stirred, the weight of sleep still clinging to his limbs. Taehyung hadn’t moved—one arm locked tight around his waist, the other sprawled over his chest like a shield.
Jungkook didn’t try to slip away.
He just lay there, staring up at the wooden ceiling, feeling the soft rise and fall of Taehyung’s breathing behind him. Warm. Steady. Safe.
But he wasn’t steady. Not really.
Inside, something still pulsed—like a distant drumbeat. Quieter now, less urgent, but always there.
“You’re overthinking again,” Taehyung murmured sleepily against his nape, voice husky from sleep, lips brushing the skin.
“You’re awake.”
“You’re tense.”
“You’re clingy.”
“Mine,” Taehyung said, arms tightening. “You don’t get to have a mental breakdown without telling me first.”
Jungkook huffed out a tiny laugh, but his smile faded quickly. “There’s something coming.”
“Then let it come.”
“You say that now, but what if—”
Taehyung flipped him onto his back in one motion, caging him again, face barely an inch away. “No. You don’t get to spiral the second the sun rises. We’re in this together, remember?”
Jungkook nodded slowly. “I know. But I feel like I’m being… watched.”
Taehyung’s expression shifted at that.
Because he’d felt it too.
In the far-off territory, in the silent stone halls of Black ember's estate, Jackson—strategist and whisper of dread across the region—stood before a flickering screen. Footage played of Jungkook walking alone through Silver Moon territory.
“So that's the enigma-born omega...,” Jackson murmured, swirling the glass in his hand. “Pretty, isn’t he?”
A heavy silence settled as Mingyu, pureblood enigma and Jackson’s handpicked weapon, stepped forward. His power crackled beneath the skin—silver veining faintly beneath flawless black eyes.
“He’s just a fledgling,” Mingyu said coolly. “But… I agree he is a beauty.”
Jackson’s smirk widened. “According to the prophecy, he’ll bring chaos. Half human. Half enigma. A cursed hybrid. Unstable. And if we don’t act—he spirals.”
Mingyu’s gaze remained unreadable. “And you want me to mark him.”
“You’re stronger. He’s an omega. Confused. But if he bears your mark? He’s not theirs anymore. He’s ours.”
The others in the chamber said nothing—but they were listening.
Taemin, the tactician, silent and sharp.
San, scout and shadow of the forest.
Wonho, the brute.
And Chan, the phantom eyes who watched from the woods.
Each had their role.
Each had their target.
Not for protection.
But for possession.
Or destruction.
“The Silver Moon Alpha won’t let him go easily,” Mingyu warned.
Jackson stepped closer, voice cold. “Let the Alpha believe he’s winning. Let him feel safe.”
And then, to Mingyu, low and lethal:
“…you’ll make him yours.”
Back at Silver Moon, Jungkook stood on the training grounds, shirt clinging to damp skin. Sweat dripped down his spine as he sparred with Jimin, heart racing—not from exertion.
From something else.
A feeling.
Like teeth on his skin.
“Your focus is off,” Jimin muttered, ducking a wild swing. “What’s wrong?”
“I don’t know,” Jungkook panted. “I just… I feel like I’m being watched.”
Jimin’s eyes narrowed. “A presence?”
“You feel it too?” Jungkook whispered.
Jimin didn’t answer. He just placed a warm hand on his shoulder.
“We’ll protect you, Jungkook. No matter what.”
Later that night, Taehyung sat with Namjoon and Seokjin, a large map stretched between them.
“They’re watching him,” Namjoon said grimly. “Black ember pack. They know about the prophecy.”
Seokjin exhaled sharply. “If they believe he’s a threat, they’ll move. And they won’t hesitate.”
Taehyung’s knuckles whitened where he gripped the edge of the table. “Let them come.”
Namjoon looked up. “You’ll need to keep him close. Always.”
“I already do,” Taehyung said darkly. “He’s not just my mate. He’s my everything.”
A pause.
“And if they try to take what’s mine…” his voice dipped, thick with heat and fury,
“…I’ll burn their forest to the ground.”
The stars glittered overhead when Jungkook stood at the edge of the lake, water still as glass. His reflection shimmered—eyes wide, lips parted, unfamiliar.
There was something in him now. Moving. Breathing.
And someone out there wanted it gone.
He didn’t hear Taehyung until the alpha wrapped a jacket around his shoulders.
“You’ll catch a cold, brat.”
Jungkook smiled faintly. “You think they’ll come?”
“I know they will,” Taehyung said, pressing a kiss to his temple. “But they’ll have to go through me first.”
Jungkook leaned into him, gaze on the moonlit ripples.
“Then I hope they’re ready.”
Because he wasn’t just the boy anymore.
He was the prophecy.
And he wasn’t running.
