Chapter 1: Liam Dunbar/Theo Raeken

Chapter Text

"Theo? Liam?" Jenna calls out frantically hoping she hadn't been seeing things that morning when she swore she saw her son and his friend sleeping in Liam's bed.

"Kitchen!" both called back making her give a sigh of relief.

"Ah, hey, taste this" Theo says as Jenna makes her way into the kitchen.

"I am never taking a bologna sandwich for granted ever again" Liam responds.

There, sitting on her counter and standing next to the fridge are two tattooed but familiar faces.  One of which is her son while the other is her son's friend.

Theo's right hand and arm were completely blacked out in ink up to the middle of his upper arm where some Old Norse lay boldly tattooed into his skin.  His left arm and hand were covered much the same way that his right side was, but the black is to his mid-forearm before the Old Norse appeared.  There are some runes and Celtic knot designs on his neck and a couple of runes on his face as well while his back is completely covered in a black wolf chasing the moon and his front has Old Norse words scrawled right across the middle of his chest right over where his heart is with other designs here and there doting his torso.

The most notable tattoo, for Jenna, was the Celtic knot wrapped around his ring finger and, when she went to inspect Liam, it was the first one she saw on him before she started taking her son in.

Liam, on the other hand, has two braided Celtic knots going from both sides of his mouth down to his neck where they intertwine right before his collar bones and a line of Old Norse covers both of the bones.  His cheeks, however, each have a line of Old Norse covering both of them.  When her eyes moved down to his torso and arms (as she couldn't see his back from her angle) there was a giant serpent wrapped around his entire left arm which had its head resting just below the Old Norse.  The top of his right arm was dedicated to a skull of some sort of deer or elk while the lower half was covered in the Old Norse language.

His torso, much like Theo's, was dotted with designs here and there, but nothing she could place, unlike his arms and neck.

"When did..." Jenna starts to say before having to clear her throat from the emotions building up in it, but, yet still, it came out weak as she asks, "When did you get back?"

Liam and Theo both immediately abandoned the food they had been eating on in order to go to her and just hug her.

Jenna immediately broke down crying as she felt her son's arms for the first time in three months.  It may have been thirty long years for Theo and Liam, but for Jenna and everyone in Beacon Hills, it'd been three months and three months was too long for the distraught Mother.

As Theo and Liam clung to her, she clung to Liam with all the strength she had inside her as she cried into his arms for the first time in a very long time; even before Liam disappeared, she hadn't cried into his arms ever since she met David.

Liam had been all she had before her husband and he'd, knowing it or not, been her rock through some tough times.  Losing him during the Hunter attack on Beacon Hills had devastated her to her very core.

The McCall Pack (who she was introduced to after Liam disappeared) told her that they didn't know where he was, but that he was a valued member of their Pack so they'd be tirelessly looking for him in hopes of finding him.

She told them to look for Theo as well as he was as good as her second son.  Begrudgingly, they agreed to look for Theo as well.

With both of them back now, her body felt lighter than it had in months.

Eventually, they all moved to the living room where Theo and Liam both had Jenna lay across their laps.

Their talk was light-hearted, at first, but then Jenna asks, "So, tell me about where you were for the last three months."

Liam and Theo look at one another warily, "We were, uh, we..."

"You were in Viking territory, obviously, but where did you live? What did you do?" she asks them.

Clearing his throat, Theo is about to answer when there's a knock on the door.

Jenna curses as she gets up from laying on them in order to answer the door.

When she gets to the door, Liam and Theo slink back into the kitchen in order to go back to raiding the fridge but, ever the Mother, Jenna calls out to the right as she opens the door, "You boys better not spoil your dinner!"

"But we haven't had sandwiches in thirty years, Mom!" Liam shouts back causing the two boys, Mason and Corey, to go wide-eyed.

Jenna turns to them and bluntly says, "Yes, they're home.  No, I don't know when or how.  Yes, you can come in."

Mason and Corey rush in completely neglecting to hear Jenna shout, "No running! I just cleaned the carpet!"

What Mason and Corey saw shocked them as they took in the two teens that are decked out in tattoos from head to toe.  When Jenna gets to the door jam, she finally sees the tattoo on Liam's back is a near-perfect replica of Theo's only that the wolf and sun aren't colored in.

"Huh, isn't that the wolves from Norse legend? What were their names again? Fenrir and...something?" Jenna asks them pushing passed the shocked Mason and Corey in order to actually get into the kitchen.

"Skoll and Hati," Theo says with a perfect Viking accent.

"Skoll and Hati are Fenrir's children.  It's often said that Skoll chases the sun while Hati chases the moon, but the way we did it, it just makes more sense to us."

"Skoll chasing the moon as he's black, blackness comes with the moon rising in the sky while Hati is chasing the sun as he's white, light comes with the sun.  Yeah, that makes sense to me too, dear" Jenna says as she pulls out dinner in order to prepare it.

Turning towards Mason and Corey, Theo asks, "Are you two ever coming in or are you just going to stand there letting your shock overtake you?"

"They look like two scared Saxons looking like they just learned they are going to Hel and not to their God," Liam says in Old Norse to Theo who chokes on the water he'd just taken a drink of.

"Be nice, Hati, we don't want to push them further into their shock" Theo reprimands back in Old Norse.

"And you don't suspect us speaking in this language will do just that?" Liam asks him bluntly.

"We could always speak in Old English then, maybe that won't rattle them as much?" Theo inquires in the language he just mentioned.

"Stop it, they're already in shock" Liam answers back in the same language as him.

With a leering look, Theo throws back to him, "I want to bend you over this island just to have my primal ways with you."

For that comment, Liam slaps him on the back of the head, "English, Modern English, we speak it, everybody speaks it, let's use it so they understand what we're saying."

"But I want to christen this entire house with our love.  I haven't felt this full of stamina since I was this age the first time" Theo counters in Old Norse once more.

"Mom, frying pan, please.  It seems I need to teach Theo some manners again" Liam says as he glares at Theo who was unashamedly leering at him flirtatiously.

"You don't need a frying pan to teach me manners, my little god of sex" Theo flirts back to him in Old Norse still while his left hand goes to Liam's right thigh in a very suggestive manner.

"That's it, you asked for this" Liam comments in English right before he picked up the ceramic plate that his sandwich had been sitting on previously just to slam it into Theo's face who immediately took his nose into his hands and howled in pain.

"Why do you always aim for the nose?!?" Theo shouts cradling his face as his nose starts healing the break immediately.

"Because it incapacitates you, you sack of elk dung!" Liam shouts back as he puts his plate back down.

"I want a divorce!" Theo shouts back at him completely ignoring Jenna trying to settle them both down.

"You keep asking for one, and yet, you never follow through with it! I've put up with your smelly fish breath for 15 years, and once a week you ask me for a divorce, and at the end of that week you always come crawling back to me on hands and knees knowing you won't get anyone better than me!" Liam shouts back at him knowing that he's right.

Theo, not wanting to admit that he's right, shouts at him, "At least I don't smell like an over-ripe stick of boar meat!"

Baffled, Liam screams back, "Yes, you do! Did the Battle of York clog your nose? Because clearly it's dulled your other senses!"

Theo, turning to Jenna, Mason, and Corey, who has been watching them yell at one another, exclaims, "Do you see what I have had to put up with? 15 years of this shit!"

"And yet, you won't divorce me because no one wants to put up with you not washing your own clothes!" Liam shoots back at him.

"We had an agreement! We agreed, when we settled into our home, that you would do that! After Ivar passed and we settled back into Kattegat, you said you would do it!" Theo screamed at him getting into Liam's face.

Liam just glared at him before taking Theo by the neck and saying in Old Norse, "Preserve.  Two minutes.  You keep me waiting and I'll make sure you don't go to Valhalla."

As Liam left, Theo leered after him while growling in interest.

It didn't take Theo just ten seconds to follow behind him leaving Jenna, Mason, and Corey looking back at the two departed teens with utter confusion.

"I wanna be just like them when I grow up" Mason comments with a knowing smirk on his face.

Chapter Text

Theo was amazed as he saw Michael lifting the truck's front end effortlessly...with his mind.

"That's new" he comments as he stares at it.

Of course, his comment shocks Michael into dropping it which has the truck crashing down with a slam causing both of them to wince as the engine exits with a loud clang.

"How long were you there?" Michael asks clearly defensive in his questioning.

"Long enough," Theo tells him as he moves closer to the mechanic.

"Why are you here on your day off?" Michael inquires as he looks critically at the young man in front of him.

Theo shrugs, "I don't have much else to do, but work."

"No friends?"

Theo kneels down to look at the damage to the engine on the truck, "Nope."

"Girlfriend?"

Theo snorts as he opens the hood to check it out from a different angle.

"Boyfriend?"

Theo looks at him with an amused look over his shoulder, "We all have our secrets, Michael, I'm not going to tell on you to some wacko Military outfit, if that's what you're worried about."

Michael looked somewhat relieved, but at the same time didn't believe Theo for a second, which, was fair enough.

Chapter Text

Theo was completely surrounded and had nowhere to go, and he knew it.

"Well, well, Theo Raeken all alone without his boyfriend with him.  What, did he get tired of you and ditch you after your usefulness was all dried up?" Tamora asked him as she, unafraid, entered the circle of Hunters that had him trapped.

They were all aiming crossbows, guns, and other forms of weaponry at him that, within seconds, could kill him once and for all.

No terror of Tara haunting him this time.  It'd be whatever afterlife that really came for him when he actually died this time.  It'd be whatever hellish nightmare that came for him after the life he'd lived up to that point.

"I digress, it was harder to find you here as there's not a big supernatural community thus allowing you to hide in your human disguise more easily, but I did eventually find you and you have shown me the monster you truly are.  Like you always will be so the question remains: do we torture the dog boys or do we put him down like the rabid beast he really is?" she says as she looks at Theo with absolute disgust.

"No, I think the question is: Why are you in my town?" Alex asks from beyond the line of Hunters who all scramble to aim their weapons at him as well as Theo.

"And who the hell are you?" Tamora inquires as she sneers at him in disgust as well.

"Captain Alexander Manes of the United States Airforce.  Currently working under Commander Eduardo Ramos of the United States Army within the Military establishment known as Deep Sky" Alex answers as he moves closer to her in a confident manner.

"Never heard of either of you nor your supposed "military establishment".  You disgusting monsters all try to make yourselves higher in rank than you really are in this world; your rank is no higher than the desert dirt under my boots" she hisses out.

"No surprise you haven't heard of us as the supernatural isn't our highest priority.  No, ours goes to...infinity and beyond" Alex responds with a smirk on his face

"Shoot him, we have other priorities" Tamora commands.

As the men with their guns pointed toward Alex and start squeezing their triggers, all of them are suddenly unconscious on the floor.

Looking around in mock amazement, Alex says, "Oops."

"What the hell did you do?" she shouts at him as more of her men turn away from Theo in order to aim their weapons at him.

Stepping even closer to Tamara, he explains to her, "You see, you dismissed my answer entirely when I said "infinity and beyond".  I thought you'd know that reference but this whole hunting supernatural creatures business seems to have clouded your critical thinking process as well as missing all the alien signs in town.  Deep Sky is dedicated to the research of aliens and alien technology.  Specifically that of the Oasians that crashed here in '47."

"What do aliens have anything to do with me putting this monster back into the grave it crawled out of? Least of all killing you as you seem to associate with it" she growls out at him thinking she still has the upper hand.

Stepping over the two men's bodies blocking him from getting face to face with her, he tells her simply, "Because aliens exist" right before the rest of the hunters surrounding them fall unconscious to the ground.

Tamora was enraged as he looks all around her, him, and Theo.  "You won't like what happens next if you pull your gun on me.  I know a blonde who would laugh with glee as she turns your mind catatonic.  Hell, she might even leave you with the mind of a four-year-old if she's feeling extra nice, but I doubt it with how much stress you've been putting Theo through these past few months."

Chapter Text

"Caleb! Pst! Caleb!" Hanna sneakily calls over to him during English class as they are supposed to be taking a test.

"Yes, Trouble?" he asks her mockingly, looking over Lucas, who rolls his eyes, in order to look at his girlfriend who decided to come to school in a very dangerous outfit.  The jeans were black and had a black leather belt harness that clung to her curvaceous thighs in all the right areas and ways along with a black fur-lined coat that was zipped all the way up keeping her torso covered.

Keeping her torso covered, however, had had a reason as she, slowly, unzipped the coat to show a black mesh shirt over a black bra, and a clear PVC tanktop that hid absolutely nothing.

Caleb felt himself go from zero to sixty in under two seconds when he feasted his eyes on her chest right before she sneakily zipped her coat back up concealing her bosom from his eyes once more, and got down to doing her test as the teacher walked by her.

"Trouble" he muttered while still looking at the vixen that had dared to wear such revealing clothes to school without anyone being the wiser.

"Mr. Rivers, if you're trying to copy off Mr. Gottesman, you'll need to do better than just looking at him.  Eyes on your test" Mr. Fitz says to him blocking his view of Hanna altogether.

"Yes, Mr. Fitz" Caleb mumbles as he looks back down at his test trying, in vain, to actually do the test before the end of class.

The sudden groan and thump of Lucas' head reminded Caleb that he might not have been the only one getting an eye full of Hanna's voluptuous torso and he couldn't decide if he should hit him or feel sorry for him.

Either way, Caleb knew that he wasn't going back to Lucas' place that night.

Chapter Text

Stiles screams as he tries to keep ahold of the metal bar and Bucky simultaneously; the speed with which they were going coupled with gravity itself was making the metal bars hold onto the blown open section of the train tenuous.

"Steve!" Stiles screams as he tries to make his grip on Bucky as tight as possible preventing the Sergeant from falling away into the ravine.

Steve rushes over just as the metal bar Stiles is holding onto finally gives up the ghost.

"Hold on!" Steve calls out just before the bar finally launches Captain Gajos and Sergeant Barnes towards the ravine below.

During their fall, Stiles grabs onto Bucky and cradles him tightly into his chest right before they slam into the ground, knocking them unconscious.

As Stiles's eyes close, he tries, in vain, to pull Bucky closer to him before darkness swallows him.

It doesn't make much sense without a fuller story to go into it but, for now, this is what I got.

Chapter Text

Handcuffed, Sam Wilson was being led into the transport vehicle but, before he was actually inside, a voice shouted out, "санлайт!"

Immediately, the men surrounding them went on high alert as they tried to find the person who just shouted.

The guy who'd been fighting Steve also paused in his tracks while getting into another transport vehicle.  It was like the strings on the guy had just been cut and now he was just awaiting new orders.

"нападения, солдат! Не оставьте в живых агентов ГИДРЫ!" The voice shouted again and like new strings had been attached to the guy, the metal-armed Terminator turned towards the agent to his left, took out a gun, and put a bullet into his head.

The guy went from zero to a hundred again but, what was odd, was that a shield formed around the guy to where it looked a lot like a second skin.  No knives or bullets were penetrating it and it was shocking the holy ghost out of Sam, Natasha, and Steve as they watched the assassin dispatch the entire STRIKE team around them.

Sam, looking at Steve, says, "I thought he was on their side."

"Apparently, not," Steve tells him as he watches his best friend from childhood strategically take them all out without getting hurt himself.

When it came down to just Rumlow, Bucky and Brock went at it like two boxers that were wanting to take the other out in the longest most complicated boxing match ever seen outside of a ring.  The shield that had been protecting Bucky up until that point disappears leaving him to have a fair fight with Brock which seemed to make the STRIKE team leader cocky.

Too cocky.

Of course, in the end, Bucky wins due to his advantage of being a super-soldier, and, as the winner of the match, he snaps Brock's neck leaving the man to meet his afterlife just like the rest of the team had before him.

With the orders that he had been instructed to carry out done, Bucky stood in the middle of the road awaiting more orders.

The voice, this time much closer, says, "Непринужденно, солдат."

Bucky's form becomes less rigid as he continues to stand there.

Who came onto the scene shocked and amazed Steve, Sam, and Natasha as they watched a kid, no older than 13 wearing baggy clothes, walk up to the deadly assassin, "покоя, солдат.  Jaime, are you with me?"

It took a minute for Bucky to answer but, when he did, he said, "Affirmative, I'm here."

"Good," the teen says right before he threw his arms around the soldier and then pushed his face into his chest.

With no hesitation at all, Bucky wraps his own arms around the teen much like a father would with his child.

Chapter Text

They were trapped, or so the Oasians thought, as Michael, Max, Isobel, and Dallas look around the ring of fire.

The Oasians, in their underestimation of the younger of their species, thought the four couldn't possibly have enough control over their abilities to be able to escape the ring before they were restrained by their guard, but they also seemed to underestimate Earth's hard lessons on their people.

"Okay, there's only one way to go about this" Michael whispers to them.

"Yeah, me putting the fire out with my powers.  You know I've been training them and I'm getting pretty good" Dallas whispers back to him.

"You are not going to do what I think you're going to do.  You'll be no better than Jones was to them if you show what powers you have, Michael" Iz whispered chastisingly.

"It's the only way.  They have to know who Max is just by his appearance while, with me, they have to know my genetic code or know what Nora did before they all left and crash-landed here.  I have to do this" Michael whispers back to her.

"Yeah, but what if you get killed, Michael, we can't take that risk," Max tells him back in a soft tone of voice.

"It's the only way to show them that we are different from Jones and, maybe, if we show them my cards before Dallas' they won't automatically try to kill us all" Michael says softly trying to convince them that his plan was a good one.

"Do it, but know full well I am entirely against this plan" Iz says before moving away and crossing her arms.

The group breaks up and Michael looks towards the ring of fire that stood between him and the other Oasians.  Taking a deep breath, he starts walking towards it.

It's like the Oasians are watching in slow motion as the rugged Cowboy that is the Dictators son starts walking towards them.  It puts three of them on edge as he starts coming toward them his unbuttoned shirt being played with by the slight breeze, the crunch of his boots on the gravel, and the way his eyes are focused only on the five Oasians that stand in safety outside the circle.

"He's going to be burned" murmurs one of the Oasians that looks scared of him.

"We know nothing of him.  We should've done a reconnaissance mission to get data on them before we decided to try apprehending them" another mutters to the one before.

"He's going to kill us," a weaker one says looking terrified of Michael.

Right as Michael breaches the barrier of the fire, he confidently walks past it and, like a trigger, the weakest one gets controlled and forced to use his powers of bone-breaking to cause disabling, non-life-threatening, injuries to his compatriots causing them all to be wounded enough that Dallas could put out the fire with his powers allowing Max and Iz to escape.

"Before any of you start accusing me of being like my Father, I want you to know that I am not like him.  Just because I have his powers doesn't mean I take after him; I take more after my Mom than him.  I'm more like The Engineer than The Dictator, but if you hurt any of my friends and family, I will not hesitate to put you six feet down, am I understood?"

All five Oasians quickly nod.

The Leader of this group of Oasians says, "You won't kill us even now?"

"Why would I kill you when all you've done is seen a familiar face and a guy who has the genetics of the person you feared?  I don't want to kill people.  I just want to live my life and be with the man I love.  Sometimes, life, and people, are just that simple" Michael tells him before he walks back over to his family.

The group, since Michael, Max, Isobel, and Dallas had walked out of the bar, had grown to include Liz, Rosa, Maria, Alex, and Gregory.

"Everything okay?" Alex asks him as he makes it over to them.

"Yeah, just want to go home," Michael tells him as he brings Alex into a hug.

"I'll go over and heal them so we can all go home," Max says before making his way over to them.

At first, the Oasians looked scared of him before he put his hands up to signify he wasn't going to hurt them then, slowly, he put his hand on the Leader's broken leg so he could start healing it.

After the Leader was healed and able to stand, he motioned for the others to allow Max to heal them as well.

It wasn't long before all five of them were healed and Max was looking a little exhausted from the strain on his healing powers.  Liz, having come prepared, walked over to give him the 100% pure acetone bottle that she has started to keep on her in case of emergencies.

Max thanks her then looks to the Leader saying, "We don't want any trouble.  We just want to live our lives here on Earth where we've found our happiness.  You do not need to fear regarding The Dictator, he's dead now."

"The Dictator is dead? You're sure?"

Looking over at them Liz says, "I shot him in the lung with a serum I created that blocked him from being able to jump into Max's body.  After that, Max stabbed him killing him near instantly."

The five Oasians were shocked by what they just heard.

"Did you put him into a pod to sustain his body?" the Leader asked them.

Max, shaking his head, replies, "No, we know what happens if a dead body is placed in a pod for any length of time."

"The body has a possibility of regenerating, and we didn't want to take that risk so we do what humans do, we buried him six feet down."

"Where is his body?"

Max shakes his head without opening his mouth showing the Leader that he refused to say where.

The Leader, understanding what was being unspoken, says, "The Dictator's regime has been destroyed.  Anyone that worked with him is either dead or imprisoned on Oasis.  We have no fear for a reprisal from them."

"Good, now you all can live in peace without fearing he'll come back," Max tells him with a slight smile on his face.

"Yes, but we are without a ruling family now.  If we don't have one soon factions will split and I fear for the future of Oasis" The Leader says as he looks imploringly at Max.

"There's no way that we can help you all from Earth."

"There are two that can help us."

Max starts shaking his head in the negative, "No, there's no way Michael and I are capable of ruling a race of people."

"You two are the only ones capable of the entire Oasian people.  We need leadership and guidance."

"Michael is constantly questioning if he's even allowed to have love while I'm trying to keep my mind and body on an even keel.  There's no way either of us could rule a race of people that we know nothing about."

"Then don't rule separately, rule together.  Bring the other female Oasian and together you three could rule us like the fair and just Monarchs that Oasis needs."

"Even if we agreed, all of the people we love are human.  They probably could never go outside building structures if they aren't properly equipped to deal with the atmosphere needed to handle human needs."

"You could try finding love again on Oasis..."

"Absolutely not, Max and Michael found the people they were destined for a long time ago.  Michael once told me what he has with Alex is cosmic and you'll have to pry Alex out of Michael's cold, dead hands.  So, no, they will not be finding love again on Oasis.  Wherever in the universe they go, Alex and I will follow" Liz tells them angrily voicing her opinion before The Leader could fully say his thought.

"If humans can't survive our atmosphere, how are you to rule there?"

"Max has told you three times that he and Michael won't be ruling Oasis.  You need to accept his wishes and back off" Liz tells him getting into his face fearless of what the man's powers could be.

"Get out of my face, human, you speak of things you don't understand" he spits back to her.

"You know, I'm getting the feeling that you don't know who you're messing with because I synthesized a serum that could wipe out your entire planet if I decided to mass-produce it.  I could leave every single one of you sprouting the flowers that could easily kill your race or leave you powerless.  Now, I've told you once and I'll say it one last time.  Leave Max and Michael alone before you start something you won't be able to end" Liz threatens.

Michael and Alex walk up to them having heard Liz's raised voice.  "What's going on here?" Michael asks the two.

"This...this human is speaking of matters that she doesn't understand and she believes she can wipe out an entire planet of people using what she made to kill The Dictator.  Make her stand down."

Michael, heaving a sigh, says, "Trying to make Elizabeth Ortecho do something she doesn't want to do is like trying to put out a grease fire with water - it won't work."

"I don't understand what you just said, My Prince."

"Prince.  That's a new one" Alex comments his eyebrows raising.

"Look, I'm no one's royalty.  I'm not some guy who strives for power or riches.  I'm a Cowboy with a drinking problem and a penchant for bar fights.  It's time for Oasis to start a new Monarchy with someone else in power.  Time for a new family to take over.  Now, if you'll excuse us, I need to beat Alex here at billards" Michael tells the Leader who'd turned from sneering at Liz to looking at Michael with a furious expression on his face.

"No! You are coming back to Oasis whether you and these filthy humans like it or not!"

Michael, who had been in the process of walking back towards The Wild Pony with Alex, stops suddenly.

"Repeat what you just said but to my face," Michael says turning back to him with a glare on his face that could murder.

"Whether you or this filthy human that you have been laying with like it or not, all Oasians on this planet will be accompanying us back to Oasis."

Michael thrusts his hand out towards the Leader and the others he came to Earth with, causing them to be blasted back, and apart, by an invisible force.

"We are not going anywhere.  We are staying right where we are but all five of you are going to take a long trip back to your ship, claim you spoke to us, and repeat to the others that accompanied you what Max and I have said" Michael instructs as he delves into each of their minds.

Mind control scares him still, but he knew there was no other way to get them to go away but to force them to do and say things they don't want to say.

Like zombies, all five of them got up and started walking away back towards where their ship must be.

"Michael..." Alex starts to say but Michael shakes his head at him.

"Maybe now they'll leave us alone," Iz said as she looks at the five that are leaving.

"Hopefully, they'll stay away" Dallas comments watching them as well.

Sometimes, you have to do what scares you to fix a problem you didn't know needed fixing, and Michael can't stomach that he had to fix it by using the one power of his that he hates most.

Chapter 9: No Pair

Tags: Time Travel, Stiles Joins the Army, BAMF Stiles Stilinski
Note: This is in the same Universe as Chapter 5 and Chapter 7 where Stiles and Bucky fall from the train, and does a synchronized tumble. This is the last of the drabbles that I've found pertaining to this universe, unfortunately. This full idea was them going to Beacon Hills, killing some people on the Dead Pool, and taking out the entire Alpha Pack on their own. That's as far as it ever got.

Chapter Text

They were like ghosts as they walked down the industrial district of Beacon Hills, California.

Stiles hadn't been there since the day he disappeared which was 70 years ago and he's changed...a lot.

They were changes that he'd have rather lived without but he knew that the Nemeton needed him to have those changes now that he was back in Beacon Hills.  The magic he sensed coming from the ground was even more potent than he'd ever sensed before even when he was in New York.

Something was coming, but he and Bucky didn't exactly know what it was yet.

Coming upon an abandoned bank, he sent a pulse of magic from his body and into the ground to see if the two of them could hide out inside it but, what came back to him, was something that caused him to be alarmed.

"Sleduy saa mnoy" he muttered in a tone that should bypass the hearing range most supernaturals can hear in.  With Bucky's nod, they both quietly entered the decrepit bank that had obviously seen better days in its prime.

Quietly making their way through, it wasn't until they were both nearly right up on top of the people inside that Stiles and Bucky could finally hear them.

Stiles quickly masked their scents so that none of the people inside could sense them and attack without both former assassins knowing what they were dealing with.

Chapter 10: Michael/Alex

Notes:

There are Season 4 Episode 11 Spoilers Here! Read at your own risk!

Chapter Text

"I can't lose you.  Not now, Alex, so just hold on.  We'll get you some help" Michael says to his love as he holds onto Alex, whose head rested on Michael's chest, as they rocked back and forth in the back of the beat-up old truck.

Michael could tell by how unaffected Alex was by the rocking he wasn't doing too well and was, in fact, getting weaker and weaker as the minutes passed by.

"Don't go dark on me, baby.  You promised to make an honest man outta me and I plan to make sure you keep that promise" Michael mutters to him as he tightens his grip on his love.

Michael could only hope they found a solution to Alex's condition before it took the only man Michael has ever loved.

Chapter 11: Michael/Alex

Notes:

This is a segment for a Mythology/Roswell NM story that I am currently writing on and I don't know if it'll fit anywhere yet so I thought I'd post it on its own.

Chapter Text

"Hurt Michael and I'll destroy this planet with you on it" Alex threatens allowing flames to coat his hands and forearms.

Jones, looking as smug as ever, tsks, "I'd be able to survive that if you've forgotten."

As Alex's eyes fill with embers, he responds, "Maybe, but you'd never survive the vacuum of space."

"You'd never destroy the only planet capable of housing you.  Your kind aren't built to destroy" Jones sneers as his eyes narrow trying to get a read on Alex.

"Wanna bet on that?" Alex asks as his shirt crumbles to ashes as the flames move to cover his chest making Alex a beacon of flames and embers.

Jones, seeing he can't tell if Alex is bluffing or not, sneers at him again wondering if he should keep talking or leave before this insane being decides to do what he's threatening to do.

"I'll leave him and Nora alone.  For now" Jones tells him right before he turns and leaves; self-preservation winning out over his ego.

Chapter 12: Namor of Talokan/Shuri of Wakanda

Notes:

Me: *Looks at Namor/Shuri relationship* Who invited you onto my ship?
Shuri: You did
Me: *Sputters*

Chapter Text

“We have to find a way to protect her,” Namor tells Namora and Attuma while he paces in front of his throne while the both of them stand on the steps leading up to it.

“What do you mean “protect her”? Send her back to the surface where she belongs!” Namora exclaims looking at her cousin with the familiar fire of a long-lived warrior burning within her eyes.

Namor shakes his head as he continues thinking about what he could do, “I can’t.”

Attuma, ever the one to say so much in so little, asks, “Why not?”

This causes Namor to pause in his pacing as he looks at both of his most trusted and fearsome warriors to reply with, “She is with child.”

Those four words caused both Attuma and Namora to become rigid in their stances as they processed the words that had just come from their God-King's mouth.

Namora was clearly furious with this announcement while Attuma was stunned into silence.

“Force that surface-dweller to abort the child! It will never be accepted into Talokan as your successor or blood! It’ll be a disgrace to your name and status! It could very well cause the downfall of Talokan if it should breathe oxygen from either the air or water!”

Namor shook his head, “No, I will not cause the death of the only child I’ve ever been able to create.”

“You can recreate the process with a proper Talokan citizen!” Namora shouted at him as if she had any right to do so.

“How, Namora? How do you propose something that I haven’t already tried for the last 500 years? I have tried everything that science in our society could suggest as well as trying the practices that surface-dwellers have had success with, and yet, I still remained childless until now! This could be my only chance, and I am not going to allow it to slip through my fingers just because you or the rest of the Talokanil aren’t happy that the child is part surface-dweller!” Namor shouts back at her, getting right in her face when he does.

“It’s because it’s part surface-dweller that causes me to feel the shame you are refusing to feel.  The fact your body wouldn’t allow you to bless some Talokan woman with your seed that I feel the shame you’ve never felt” Namora growls back at him looking him right in his eyes.

Pushing his forehead against hers while not backing down from their staring contest, he admits to her and Attuma softly, “You don’t think I’ve ever felt the shame of knowing that I could never have children of my own these long years? That I haven’t looked to the universe and asked the ancestors why they’d cursed me? That me, the God-King of my people, could never have a child that was part of me? Do you think I am truly so heartless that knowing it took me falling in love with a surface-dweller to finally achieve what I’ve been wanting for most of my life? If I could’ve, I’d have had dozens of children sired by countless women in Talokan if I could’ve made them, but I wasn’t able to and that shame will live with me until I see the eyes of my child.  When they are born, I will finally get to be, not only God-King to the Talokan people but also a Father.  The final achievement in any good God-Kings life.”
