Summary
Dean Winchester is a man who has always been content with his life, well, thought he was content and happy. Until his baby brother got married before him, until his 30th birthday when he realized he wasn’t getting any younger, until he awoke every morning to an empty bed, an empty house and the feeling of being alone was becoming all consuming. He had everything he had hoped to accomplish, he had the ranch he ran with his brother, his family who he loved and the memories of a childhood summer where the best friend he ever had got ripped away from him and he had never come to terms with it. This he kept to himself, drowning what he now knows was love with whiskey and work. He hadn’t gotten laid in several years and he found that it didn’t bother him, though it probably should. When he literally knocks down a tall dark and handsome face and feels that instant connection he hadn’t felt since summer camp so many years ago, his world will turn upside down.
