A thieving queen, eyes crystal blue.
She met a murd'rous neph'lim too.
As prisoners, they came to terms,
uneasy now, allied.
They sought escape, these two jail birds.
The neph'lim spoke in honeyed words,
"when we go free, then I shall be
forever by your side."
The icy queen, who had her doubts,
desired chiefly a way out.
Though were unwed, they shared a bed.
Her heart began to thaw.
(Between two sinners love may bloom,
will they prevail or meet their doom?)
The neph'lim had a hunting streak,
when queen revealed her wife, petite.
In huntress eyes, she was a prize,
compared the wife her own.
There was a test so they could judge
between the two, whose arm would budge.
The queen used fraud, and pride was trod.
A seed, resentment sown.
One chilly night, the queen surmised,
"we may at best, forget our wives",
and so resigned, to from behind,
embrace the nephilim.
(Affections given unaware
can often be too much to bear.)
The nephilim could not endure
humiliation any more.
"The time is right for us to fight,"
their friendship in the past.
Upon a roof in pouring rain,
they had a battle once again.
Their game complete, no need to cheat,
the queen would win at last.
With ragged breath until the end,
the jealous huntress swore revenge,
"My daughter's birth will be your curse,
you will regret this day."
