Varian smiles, Watching as Rapunzel lays down another brush stroke on her wall. He was currently watching her paint a mural of him and Ruddiger on her wall.

It had officially been two years since the battle of Zahn Tiri, and so far everything was going quite smoothly. Varian had been promoted to Royal Alchemist and Engineer, Rapunzel and Eugene had gotten married, and life was amazing!

Then he saw it. Just as Rapunzel shifted her position to show Varian the finished painting he sees it. Him. The atomotons. His villain outfit. The fight. All illustrated in a corner of her wall. His breath hitches as all the memories come flooding back to him.

“Princess PLEASE!! YOU PROMISED!!”

“I will make you proud….”

“Ready as I’ll ever be!~”

“Take him away!”

“You, Varian of old corona have been sentenced to death”

“STOP PLEASE STOP IT HURTS!!-“

“Varian…”

“Varian!

“VARIAN!!”

He’s snapped out of his thoughts by A very concerned Rapunzel. He doesn’t even notice her as he bolts off, sprinting out of the castle. All he remembers is running. Sobbing. Then he trips. Dirt. Roots. He was all the way in the forest.

He attempts to push himself up, but fails. He continues to sob, curling up into a ball. He doesn’t notice his bloody nose, scraped up elbows, or the thick, hot tears running down his face.

He doesn’t know how long he sat there, but by the time he had stopped sobbing it was past noon.
He shakily stands up, Wiping the dried dirt off of his face and looking around through tired eyes.

Great, he was in the middle of the forest. Curse him for not paying attention! He grumbles, starting to pace. Then he hears a whimper.

Turning his head sharply, he sees a struggling black lump in the distance. He grabs his pocket knife, bracing for a feral animal. As he gets closer, he notices it’s nothing but a small black cat. A cat stuck in a net most likely set by a hunter.

The cat mewls and wails, and Varian takes pity on the thing. He quickly cuts the ropes off of the cat, before stepping back. “T-There. Go now go home, buddy…”

The cat looks back at him, it’s brown eyes glimmering red for a short second before it scampers off. The alchemist sighs, before pocketing the knife. “Now to find my way out of here…”

He starts to trudge through the forest, mumbling curses under his breath. “God this is so fucking dumb…I’m such an idiot…”

As he made his way back to corona, He didn’t see the cat he freed burst into bright green flames, shifting into a 7ft anthropomorphic black cat. 3 eyes appear on the cats face, 5 more appearing on its body. A large tail Shaped like a hand flicks, a large, cheshire grin appearing on the felines muzzle as a large mouth on its stomach opens.

“After all this time…I have finally found you…..Varian…~”

Varian could barely sleep that night. He was continuously tossing and turning. Nightmares of Prison and his villain arc flashed before his eyes before he shot up, awakening in a cold sweat.

He swore he saw his hair glowing blue for a second, but as soon as he looked, He saw nothing. He exhales, flopping back down on his bed.

Tomorrow was going to be a long day….

Rapunzel nervously fidgets with her hands as she sits on her bed, Waiting for Varian to respond to her question. She had finally confronted him about what had happened yesterday.

“Do you…Do you really not know..?” He looks shocked, a bit confused even. Rapunzel tilts her head to the side a bit, quite confused. “Know about what?”

Varian Fidgets with his gloves, taking a deep breath. “Rapunzel, What do you think happened to me after they arrested me?” She smiles. “Well that’s easy! My dad said he was going to get you help, so he obviously did so!”

The alchemist freezes, before running a hand through his hair and shaking his head as he sighs. “No…No Rapunzel no…he threw me into the dungeons..I was tortured, beaten, abused…I was not helped. I was sentenced to execution for suns sake!”

Rapunzel looks horrified. She shakes her head, looking down before looking back up at Varian. “No…My dad would never go that far. Y-You we’re 14! He would never treat a child like that!”

He furrows his brow. “Do you want proof?” She nods, a stern look on her face. “Fine. I’ll give you proof.”

He unbuttons his vest, shaking it off before tugging his shirt over his head. He then tugs his binder off.

Chuckling bitterly, he slowly spins around, showing a mortified princess an array of whipping, knife, and even burn scars littered throughout his front and back.

Then he turns to face her, an irritated smile on his face. “There. Is this the proof you needed? Or do I need to list what they did to me down there.”

“No….thats…that’s enough proof…”
The boy nods, redressing his torso before leaving.

A Flash of white appears in Varians room, a white fox appearing. The small creature skitters over to the alchemists desk, hopping up and dropping a note onto it before disappearing in the same white flash.

Heeeyyyy!!! It’s Cami-Two here! I’m posting this chapter due to Cami-One being on a lil break! Now it’s time for the adventure to begin. We have a little code in this chapter hehehe >:3. If you can translate it fully (No cheating >:[) you’ll get a shoutout in the next chapter cami-one writes!! Good luck hehe~ Also..this is sort of straying away from the request. Don’t worry! The request is going to be fulfilled but well, Cami-One being who he is he got too deep into writing and added quite a bit into the plot while pre writing like…3 chapters. I do hope you all enjoy though!! (๑>◡<๑)

Two days. It had been two weeks since Varian had his episode. Two days since she had confronted him. Two days since she found out about what happened to him after he was taken away from the battle of old Corona.

“I CANT BELIEVE THIS!! Why would my father do all of this!! Varian was only a child!!” The brunette was absolutely pissed, pacing around the room as she ranted to her husband.

“Hey, Sunshine. We’ll get through this alright? Look, We have more than enough evidence to prove that what happened was not okay.”

Rapunzel groans, slumping against the wall. “That’s the problem!! My dads the KING Eugene!! He can deny anything and everyone will believe him because that are all mindless, gullible, pieces of-“

Suddenly Varian bursts into the room, a paper In hand. “Uh, We have a problem. A big one.”

“So your saying t you just…found this in your lab, Sitting on your desk, In an envelope with “no signs anyone broke into your lab?” Eugene raises an eyebrow, glancing over at a concerned Rapunzel. “Yes! I haven’t read it because I don’t know WHAT it could be but…I have a feeling it’s not a good thing.”

Rapunzel sighs, looking at Varian. “Well, Lets read it! There’s no use in just staring at it.” So that’s what they did.

“Oookay so….that’s a different language. Do you…” Varian groans. “No. I don’t know what language that is. But…Xavier might.”

“XAVIER!!” Varian rushes over to the blacksmith, stopping to double over and suck in a couple breaths. “I-I need your help..”

The blacksmith chuckles, watching as the Princess and her husband catch up to him. “What is it that you may need, Varian?”

Rapunzel hands Xavier the scroll, sighing. We need you to translate this language in this scroll.”

Xavier takes it, looking over the language. He then places it down on a table, furrowing his brow. “Where did you find this scroll…?”

“Oh, I found it on my desk this morning. Why?” The trio looks nervous. “This is Enderman. It’s a language that is only spoken by the beings. It’s related to Low Mewman, A language spoken only by Mewman Princesses in the Mewni kingdom. Unfortunately, I cannot read this.” Varian deflates, disappointment on his features.

“Wait. What’s that?” The three men exchange confused glances. Rapunzel then grabs the scroll, looking closer at it “This text at the bottom of the page! Look!”

They all look at the scroll, Xavier reading the text out loud. “In order to translate the parts of this scroll
And locate your chaos that is oh so very vital, Find the burdened child who’s cheeks are marked with vibrant blue spirals”

Now it’s time for Rapunzel, Xavier, And Eugene to exchange confused looks. “Burdened child who’s cheeks are marked with vibrant blue spirals?? Who could that possibly be?” Rapunzel huffs. “Don’t know, Eugene. I don’t think we know any kids with blue spirals on their cheeks.”

Varian pauses, the puzzle pieces in his head finally clicking.

“I…I Think I might know who it is.”

“So? You know who this kid is but your not telling us anything about who they are.” Eugene complains as they sit in Rapunzel’s room.

“Yeah…the thing is uh….She doesn’t exactly…live in Corona.”

“WHAT?!”

Varian flinches back at the both of them yelling. “What do you mean she doesn’t live in Corona! Where is she then goggles?”

Varian sighs, running a gloved hand through his bangs. “She lives in the kingdom of Mewni. It’s about a four day trip to get there by carriage, and a three day trip by hot air balloon. And that’s not counting how long it’s gonna take me to build the thing.”

The trio falls silent. They all knew they were screwed.

Black boots thump on pavement as a dark skinned child bolts through the streets of Corona. Dressed in a dark blue sweater with way too long sleeves and brown shorts, they looked quite out of place.

They stop, looking up at the castle. “This is gonna suck..” Purple bangs and short fluffy black hair blows In the wind, the bangs just slightly moving to show furrowed brows and a blue eye full of determination.

They puff out their freckled cheeks, slipping on a black cloak and pulling up the hood.

gripping their brown satchel with a sleeve covered hand, they run off again, heading into the castle.

A loud crash is heard, And the trio jumps up, voices of guards are heard as the three exits the room, only to see a small figure being dragged off by guards.

Rapunzel sighs, sitting infront of the cloaked child. “Who are you, and why did you break into the castle.”

The child snarls, baring her fangs to Rapunzel. “I won’t tell you SHIT.” Rapunzel groans, before grabbing the satchel. “Well, we can at least look through this!”

They pale. “H-HEY! Be careful with that! There’s breakable things in there you know!”

The brunette raises an eyebrow. “Like what?” A sigh. “Chemicals. Look, I was just trying to bring my friend his delivery of chemicals and crystals from Mewni. I always just bust into his room, leave them, and go.”

“Your telling me this the child from the note.” Rapunzel looks at the kid, then back at the note. Sure enough, she did have the markings.

“What do you think dipshit. Now get your hands OFF.” Eugene chuckles. “Yeah, No can do. Not until vA-“ He yelps and let’s go of Draven as soon as she bites him. “hEY! Don’t fucking bite me.”

Then the alchemist walks in. As soon as he does, Draven launches herself at him, clinging to him. “Please save me from your friends-“

Varian hisses, prying Draven off of him. “Draven, Your claws-“ She chuckles. “Sorry…”

The Princess stands up. “Varian, the scroll?” He nods, pulling out the scroll and handing it to Draven. “We need you to translate this. You know Enderman, right?”

Draven scoffs “course I do. Now, let’s read this bad boy…” Her eyes scan over the scroll, before she starts to recite it.

“Zahn Tiri has been ridden, But something is still hidden. Under the light of a blood moon eclipse,A smile forms upon its lips. Yellow, Blue, Black and White,
Gaze upon your holy light. Sun, Moon, And Chaos I say, That is what will save the day.
Something will rise with a smile on its lips. Yellow, Blue, Black and white, Gaze upon its holy light. Sun, Moon, And Chaos yes it’s true,
Will help you defeat the enemy anew”

Eugene looks confused. “Sun, Moon, And Chaos..?” Draven rolls her eyes “It’s talking about the Sundrop, Moonstone, And Chaos Stone, you Idiot.”

Rapunzel sighs. “But the sundrop and moonstone disappeared after the battle of Zahn Tiri..and…What’s the Chaos Stone…?”

Draven chuckles, Pulling down the left leg of her shorts. Embedded on her thigh is a black and white marbled stone. “This bad boy. I’m surprised you’ve never even heard of it considering how dangerous this thing can be in the wrong hands.”

Eugene raises an eyebrow. “So if your our chaos or whatever, What exactly does that thing do, Huh?”

Draven smiles. “Very glad you asked. The chaos stone, as in the name, Is chaotic. It’s power cannot fully be controlled. You can make anything happen with this stone. Warp space and time. Alter reality. Give someone four arms. Anything.

But, the only thing I can do is rewind time, fast forward time, and create these black and white rocks.”

Rapunzel hums. “Why only those things..?” The child sighs. “I’m not strong enough to do the rest. If I tried, I could hurt myself or others and I’m not risking that. Now enough about that. We need to find the sundrop and moonstone.”

“There’s uh…one problem though. They were both destroyed.”

“God dAMMIT-“

Uh oh, Bandits! Let’s see if Draven can prove Adria wrong about that fighting thing…Also, This chapter does contain some triggering topics (Semi-Described Rape/Sexual assault) and I apologize for that qwq. I was in a pretty bad mood and I accidentally used my oc to vent about some past trauma. There is a warning for when it starts and finishes if you would like to skip.

Suddenly Draven is grabbed, and 7-8 more bandits emerge from the trees. Nobody notices that Draven has been grabbed until the bandit safely gets away and the others have retreated.

“…….Where’s smalls…?”

Draven snarls and struggles as the tall figure keeps ahold of her, trapping her body in a painfully tight grip.

Her arms have been tied behind her back and she’s been blindfolded, so fighting is out of the question at the moment. Suddenly she’s thrown down onto a wooden floor.

The blindfold is taken off and Draven looks up in fear at the man who grabbed her. He pulls his hoods off, and if she wasn’t kidnapped by them, she would say he looked pretty cool.

He had dark skin, Brown eyes, and messy black hair. He had a long scar over his nose, and another down his right eye. He looked to be in about his 20’s, But Draven couldn’t exactly tell.

The other two didn’t pull of their hoods, but she could clearly see their smiles.

“Well, Well, Well, Looks like we finally got er’. You two stand guard outside. I wanna…Talk to our little princess.”

The other two swiftly exit, and Draven is left alone with the man. He sighs, before speaking in a strangely unsettling gravelly and cool voice. “If I take the gag off will you scream?”

Draven glares, but shakes her head no. The man smiles, slipping his hands behind her head to slip the gag down. He then grabs a tissue to wipe the spit from the edges of her mouth and chin. “There…”

Draven growls, baring her fangs “what do you WANT.” He chuckles. “Nothing much. I just wanted to see if the princess of Mewni is exactly what people say she is…” his eyes roam her body, and she squirms, managing to push herself away a bit.

The man notices this. “Oh geez, Where are my manners! I’m Collin. And I know your Draven. So…Let me get a closer look at you.” He moves closer, And Draven has to use every ounce of self control in her body to not bite the person as they poke and prod at her.

“Hm…You don’t look half deer..” She growls, before shifting. Now with her signature grey deer legs, ears, slim grey tail that has a tuft of black fur with a streak of purple in it, she snarls. “There. That what ya wanted to see??”

Collins eyes light up as he smiles. “Wow…That is remarkable. But…Where do your shoes go?” She scoffs “They absorb and turn into my hooves.”

His hands trail down to her legs, lifting one to examine it. “Remarkable…” he murmurs. “Can I leave now? I’m sort of in . a hurry to be somewhere and-“

He shushes her, his hand starting to trail up her thighs. Dravens eyes go wide as saucers as she squirms. “H-Hey! Stop it!!” She kicks her legs and screams, but it’s no use. He continues to trail his hand up.

She tries to push herself away as he slips down her pants and underwear, marveling the sight in front of him. “Wow, Both genitals…this is going to be fun~”

Draven was running. Her boots thump against the earth as she runs, trying not to think about what happened, what he did, what she did.

Soon enough she gets back to the camp, and the group is quick to stop what they were doing and run over to her.

But then they halt when they see the state she’s In. Her clothes are in disorder, her shirt being on backwards, pants unbuttoned and unzipped. And everybody saw the blood splattered on her face and body. they immediately knew something was wrong.

Rapunzel steps forward, looking at Draven with concern. “Draven…What happened…?”

Draven bursts into tears.

Chapter Text

AUTHORS NOTE:

Yay!! New chapter! The trio is now halfway to the dark kingdom! Draven gets some comfort from Adira (Surprisingly). Varian tries to help his dear friend and Rapunzel and Eugene? They aren’t really the focus in this chapter, sorry-. This is gonna be more of a fluffy filler sort of thing before they arrive at the Dark Kingdom! Enjoy!

Draven hadn’t left the caravan for the rest of the day, and for the entire day after that. Adira had gotten sick of it. “Hey, Smalls. What’s up with you, huh?” Draven doesn’t answer.

Adira makes her way over to Dravens little hiding spot, the larger woman sitting down beside where Draven was hiding. She leans on the back of the bed, letting out a sigh.

“Look…I’m not gonna force you to tell me, or anyone else what happened back there, but…If you do need someone to talk to, I’m here. What you tell me will stay with me. I wont say anything to anyone else.”

Draven peeks out from under the bed, whispering. “P-Promise..?” Adira nods, before grabbing a flask and handing it to Draven. “Water. I know you haven’t had any in the last couple of hours. We’ll get ya something to eat later.”

Draven nods, taking a drink. Then she takes a deep breath, and starts to explain.

By the time the younger individual is done explaining, she’s in tears. Adira is quick to pull the child into a hug, despite her mind racing. The warrior was sickened by the fact that Draven had to go through all this. “How…How old even are you kid?”

Draven sniffles, wiping her nose. “I-I’m 13…” Adria looks horrified. She was a child. How could someone have the nerve to do this to a child?! “I’m so sorry…”

Draven just clings to Adira, trying to fight the heavy pull of sleep that was tugging on her eyelids. The older woman chuckles, running her hands through Dravens hair soothingly. “Rest, Smalls. Tomorrow’s a big day.”

Adira didn’t realize she had fallen asleep until she actually woke up. When the Warrior noticed Draven was still sleeping, she smiled. Looks like the kid did need rest after all.

They gently shift the child from laying on their chest to their bed, covering them with a blanket and ruffling their hair gently.

Then she opens the trapdoor to the roof, hopping up and closing it behind her. She’s quite surprised to see Varian driving the caravan instead of Eugene or Rapunzel. “Oh, Heya kiddo.”

Varian smiles as his aunt hops down to sit next to him. “Hey aunt Adira! What’s up?” She hums. “Nothin much. But you look like you have somethin on your mind. Care to share with me?”

He sighs. “Is….Is Draven okay..? She..She flinched when I tried to get close to her yesterday. It..It was like she thought I was gonna hurt her…”

Adira sighs. “Draven…Went through something traumatic…that day. I…I’m not gonna say anything more due to Dravens privacy. You…You can ask her yourself later, Alright..?”

He nods, before noticing the looming fog that was coming over them. They had arrived.

Chapter Text

AUTHORS NOTE:

The second to last chapter is here! What will happen next? The group returns to the kingdom, King Fredrick and Nigel face punishment, Varian bonds with the Queen, and the group finds out something horrible.

The group had arrived back 3 weeks ago and nobody expected anything like this to happen.

Rapunzel had spoken out about Varians treatment in jail.

And well, Varians father didn’t take it very nicely.

He had taken the king and Nigel to court. After the townsfolk had heard about the treatment and seen Varians scars (while also being reminded that it was illegal for a 14 year old to be thrown In the dungeons and sentenced to execution) most of them weren’t happy either.

Nigel’s punishment was being removed from his job for 4 months, Someone else taking his place.

The Kings punishment was a bit more…difficult to come up with.

Until Varian suggested that the Queen was to rule for a minimum of 5 months, instead of the king.

Arianna liked that.

And now we are here. Varian is currently taking a walk through the Royal garden.

“Varian?”

Varian turns around, Freezing when he sees the queen.

“No need to be afraid. I was just asking if I may join you? I’d like to chat a bit.”

Varian nods, gulping.

“Uhm, Sure! You can join me.”

She smiles, now walking side by side with him.

“I wanted to apologize for Nigel and Fredricks behavior and how they treated you. It was unjust and unfair.”

He blushes, waving his hands infront of him.

“No, No! You don’t have to apologize at all. If I’m being honest, I kind of deserved the treatment…”

As he sits down on a bench, she places a hand on his shoulder. Squatting down so she’s eye level to him, she looks him sternly in the eyes.

“Varian Jeremy Callimain of Old Corona. You did not deserve any of that. You were a frightened child, who was denied the help you needed. You were alone and frightened, not knowing what to do. Yes, what you did was bad, but you were a child. A child blinded by your emotions. You should have been helped and cared for, not shackled and beaten.”

Varian couldn’t speak. The only thing he could do was sob, curling in on himself. He didn’t understand.

“W-Why do you care? Why? I kidnapped you! I tried to hurt you and your family! Shouldn’t you h-hate me?”

She is quick to pull the boy into a hug, rubbing his back.

“I never hated you and I will never hate you. You have proved to me and everyone else that you regret your actions. You are trying so hard to be better. There is no use hating you if your trying to change.”

Arianna holds him in her arms as he breaks down. They sit there like that for a while, Arianna comforting the young alchemist as he sobs.

Soon enough he calms down, pulling away and wiping his tears.

“I-I’m so-“

The queen cuts him off.

“Don’t apologize. I can tell you needed to get that out of your system.”

He smiles. “Thank you, Your Majesty..”

She smiles back, nodding. “You are very welcome. And please, Call me Arianna.”

He stands up, giving her one last hug before they continue with their walk.

Draven taps her foot nervously. It was almost nightfall, and they had just gotten another letter from their mysterious quest leader.

“You have found the three, Why I’m filled with such glee! But be wary as the moon rises to mast as this night may be your last. The blood moon eclipse is upon you, and there is something specific you must do. Past the wall that seals you away, is where you must go by the end of the day. You must fight your enemy and kill him, otherwise the light of your city will go dim.”

Draven stops reading, shakily setting down the note. The group exchanges glances with one another, Rapunzel speaking up.

“If we don’t kill this enemy then…”

Varian looks down.

Chapter Text

AUTHORS NOTE:

The second to last chapter is here! What will happen next? The group returns to the kingdom, King Fredrick and Nigel face punishment, Varian bonds with the Queen, and the group finds out something horrible.

The group had arrived back 3 weeks ago and nobody expected anything like this to happen.

Rapunzel had spoken out about Varians treatment in jail.

And well, Varians father didn’t take it very nicely.

He had taken the king and Nigel to court. After the townsfolk had heard about the treatment and seen Varians scars (while also being reminded that it was illegal for a 14 year old to be thrown In the dungeons and sentenced to execution) most of them weren’t happy either.

Nigel’s punishment was being removed from his job for 4 months, Someone else taking his place.

The Kings punishment was a bit more…difficult to come up with.

Until Varian suggested that the Queen was to rule for a minimum of 5 months, instead of the king.

Arianna liked that.

And now we are here. Varian is currently taking a walk through the Royal garden.

“Varian?”

Varian turns around, Freezing when he sees the queen.

“No need to be afraid. I was just asking if I may join you? I’d like to chat a bit.”

Varian nods, gulping.

“Uhm, Sure! You can join me.”

She smiles, now walking side by side with him.

“I wanted to apologize for Nigel and Fredricks behavior and how they treated you. It was unjust and unfair.”

He blushes, waving his hands infront of him.

“No, No! You don’t have to apologize at all. If I’m being honest, I kind of deserved the treatment…”

As he sits down on a bench, she places a hand on his shoulder. Squatting down so she’s eye level to him, she looks him sternly in the eyes.

“Varian Jeremy Callimain of Old Corona. You did not deserve any of that. You were a frightened child, who was denied the help you needed. You were alone and frightened, not knowing what to do. Yes, what you did was bad, but you were a child. A child blinded by your emotions. You should have been helped and cared for, not shackled and beaten.”

Varian couldn’t speak. The only thing he could do was sob, curling in on himself. He didn’t understand.

“W-Why do you care? Why? I kidnapped you! I tried to hurt you and your family! Shouldn’t you h-hate me?”

She is quick to pull the boy into a hug, rubbing his back.

“I never hated you and I will never hate you. You have proved to me and everyone else that you regret your actions. You are trying so hard to be better. There is no use hating you if your trying to change.”

Arianna holds him in her arms as he breaks down. They sit there like that for a while, Arianna comforting the young alchemist as he sobs.

Soon enough he calms down, pulling away and wiping his tears.

“I-I’m so-“

The queen cuts him off.

“Don’t apologize. I can tell you needed to get that out of your system.”

He smiles. “Thank you, Your Majesty..”

She smiles back, nodding. “You are very welcome. And please, Call me Arianna.”

He stands up, giving her one last hug before they continue with their walk.

Draven taps her foot nervously. It was almost nightfall, and they had just gotten another letter from their mysterious quest leader.

“You have found the three, Why I’m filled with such glee! But be wary as the moon rises to mast as this night may be your last. The blood moon eclipse is upon you, and there is something specific you must do. Past the wall that seals you away, is where you must go by the end of the day. You must fight your enemy and kill him, otherwise the light of your city will go dim.”

Draven stops reading, shakily setting down the note. The group exchanges glances with one another, Rapunzel speaking up.

“If we don’t kill this enemy then…”

Varian looks down.

“Corona will fall.”

Here it is. The last chapter. This fic was so much fun to write, and I’m so glad that anon requested it. I’m honestly quite sad that this fic is almost done, as I’ve gotten very exited about logging on and posting a new chapter.

But hey, This was an amazing journey for my first fanfic that I’ve actually seriously written.

That’s right, this is my first serious fanfic. I had started out with the MHA fandom, but none of my fanfics that I had posted besides a short ship one were actually serious. They were just tiny little ideas I quickly rushed into without thinking. But this…this is different.

Thank you. Thank you for reading, commenting, and thank you for all of the kudos. I never could have done any of this without you, dear reader.

I know this is sappy and dumb, but I really do appreciate every single one of you who read, commented, bookmarked, subscribed, and liked. It means so much to me. Writing fanfics has always been a dream of mine, and it makes my inner child so happy that my dream has become a reality. Thank you.

Skull dogs are canine like beings that come in all sizes. Their entire body is one of a wolves, but their top jaw is a skull. Their eyes are fully black with glowing pupils ranging from white to red to any color.

The trio arrives outside of the kingdoms walls just as the blood red moon starts to rise. There, they wait.

As soon as the eclipse starts, something happpens. A red pentagram appears on the now black planets, glowing an angry red.

Draven gasps, hissing as the black pentagram tattoo on her neck glows the same angry red.

She drops to her knees, heaving up puddles and puddles of a black, inky substance. Some of it starts to ooze out of a nostril as if it was a nosebleed.

Her tears slowly turn black, the ink streaming down her face.

Rapunzel and Varian back up, watching with horror.

Then it stops.

She gasps and sputters, coughing and scooting back. The large puddle of ink starts to bubble, before something rises up out of it.

The cat.

The cat opens the 5 eyes on its body, before opening the three on its face. Now standing at a full 7’9, It stretches, looking around.

Then the mouth on its stomach opens, and it starts to talk in a smoothe and charming masculine voice

“Well, Well, Well~ Look who we have here!~”

Draven growls and stands up, the three of them getting into a fighting position.

The cat chuckles, His hand like tail flicking. “So you really are here to fight me, Huh? Well, since there’s only three of you, I’ll go easy on ya.”

Then he lunges. The three of them dodge, now starting their attacks. The fight goes on and on, none of them landing critical hits.

They are attacking and successfully hitting it, yes, but they aren’t weakening it.

Draven charges up her wand, letting off a blast of purple magic. Cat dodges, swiftly landing a roundhouse kick to Dravens gut.

Draven chokes, before the sickening crack of her head slamming into a tree echos throughout the battlefield.

The child’s eyes roll into the back of her head before she slumps to the ground, unconscious.

“DRAVEN!”

Varian is quick to whip around, but before he can even take a step foreword, the beings hand-tail wraps around him.

“Awe, Look at you. You’re like a pathetic little mouse squirming in the restraints of a snake.”

Rapunzel whips her hair out, but the cat simply grabs it and pulls.

The blonde gasps as she’s swung in a half circle, before quickly pulling her frying pan out and throwing it.

The pan clangs against the beings face, and it drops her. A paw comes up to touch it’s nose, pulling back only to see red smeared on a paw pad.

“Wow! You really are talented princess. But I think that’s enough.”

Suddenly hands shoot up out of the ground, grabbing onto both of them. The hands slowly wrap around the two, squeezing and squeezing.

“N-No!” Rapunzel struggles to speak as they wrap around her neck, squeezing tightly.

Varian gasps, clawing at the hands with all his might.

“It’s no use, Mortals. This fight is over. Your magic is useless, and your friend is dea-“

A whistle.

A high shrill of a whistle sounds off, and two slurred words can be heard.

“Sick ‘em.”

Draven smiles, locking eyes with the cat. “Say your..p-prayers, IDIOT.”

“What…?”

The ground rumbles, howling sounding off in the distance. Then they appear.

Skulldogs of all shapes and sizes running and lunging at the cat.

He struggles, kicking and pulling and lunging as they claw and bite and bark.

“NO! THIS ISNT OVER SUNDROP. YOU AND YOUR KINGDOM WILL FALL!”

Varian groans, trying to hold a squirming Draven down. “Hold still dangit!! I’m trying to help you.”

Draven hisses, squirming and smacking Varian with her tail. “OH HELL NO! GET ME AWAY FROM THOSE CURSED CLOTHS!! I DO NOT NEED BANDAGES TO SURVIVE! I AM WILD, NOT TAME!!”

Rapunzel snickers, looking away to hide her silent laughter. “Oh my gosh…”

Eugene just sits there, Sighing.

At least thinks we’re somewhat back to normal now.

“….This fight isn’t over, Is it?”

The White fox looks up at a cat.

This cat is different though. It was a tuxedo cat with grey wings, a crown on its head, and a tuft of blonde hair.

Dark red eyes with a lighter red sclera lock on the fox, a wide toothy smile forming on their muzzle.

“The fight will never be over, Chio.”
