Chapter 1: Chapter One

Chapter Text

-Dormitories at UCLA (9:31 P.M. April 5th, Saturday) -

Finn is currently sitting in his dorm, alone, wondering what got him to this position. His love life is a mess, to put it simply, and his friends are wondering what the fuck is going on with him lately. Which, fair enough, he has been basically locking himself in his room after class everyday.

He knows that Bruce texting him right now is Bruce trying to help him. But, he knows he’s gonna ask ‘Why have you been ignoring me?’ and, the answer is honestly quite simple. He’s been ignoring his best friend because of a barista he had sex with after just a few hours of knowing him, who’s named Robin if he didn’t give Finn a fake name. (Which he wouldn’t blame him for, Finn can act a little off sometimes.)

And Finn has never done the hookup thing, he didn’t even know ‘Robins’ last name.

He does ultimately decide to text Bruce back.

-Text conversations between: Bruce and Finn (9:46 P.M. April 5th, Saturday) -

Finn: I’m sorry. I can explain why I’ve been ignoring you if you want.

Bruce: Please do, I was really worried, Finn.

Finn: Okay, so you know how my regular coffee shop that I go started closing on Sundays?

Bruce: Mhm?

Finn: So I went and tried a new one, they had this barista, he was literally the most handsome mf I’ve laid eyes on.

Bruce: So this is all over you panicking because you saw someone ‘too handsome’?

Finn: No no no, I’m not done. I order my coffee, he gives it to me with his number written on the side with a ‘call me later’. I call him, mindset as ‘What's the worst that could happen’

Bruce: Did he try to kill you? Because we have Vance, we can go try to kill his ass back.

Finn: Once again, no. He answers, asks if it’s the ‘Cute dirty blonde from the cafe’ . I say it’s Finn. He goes ‘So it is the cute blonde from the cafe’ He invites me to his apartment. I go over.

Bruce: Okay, so you fucked him. What else?

Finn: When I wake up around 4 am, this bitch is gone. Like full on gone. He texts me around 5 am after I leave. I haven't looked at it yet, bc I’m scared.

Bruce: Why don’t you like go look at it. Tell me what it says tho.

-Text conversations between: Maybe; Robin and Finn (10:08 P.M. April 5th, Saturday) -

Maybe; Robin: Hey, when I got back you were gone? (Monday, 5:11 A.M.)

Maybe; Robin: I’m now realizing that leaving without leaving a note is typically a bad sign.  (Monday, 5:17 A.M.)

Maybe; Robin: I’m also realizing that you might have classes to get ready for. Just text me when you can. (Monday, 5:28 A.M.)

Maybe; Robin: Hey, you okay? (Monday, 5:03 P.M.)

Maybe; Robin: I’m sorry if I misread something. (Wednesday, 9:39 A.M.)

Maybe; Robin: Hey, I can not go in on Sunday. (Friday, 2:41 P.M.)

Finn: I’m sorry.

Maybe; Robin: About?

Finn: Ignoring you. I thought you were messaging me about me leaving something there, and I also didn’t wanna check and it be negative.

Maybe; Robin: I’m the one who left, which with hooking up is typically a bad sign. I get it.

Finn: Also, you messaged me so many times. I think you’re like falling for me or smth.

Maybe; Robin: Ay, don't get cocky, you just have a pretty face.

Finn: Hold on, give me one second.

-Text conversations between: Bruce and Finn (10:31 P.M. April 5th, Saturday) -

Bruce: What’d he sayyyyyy

Bruce: Finn I swear to god.

Bruce: FINNN

Finn: bro calm tf down, also he told me I had a pretty face. It’s going well so far.

Bruce: Go like y’know.

-Text conversations between: Maybe; Robin and Finn (10:43 P.M. April 5th, Saturday) -

Finn: We should meet up again soon.

Maybe; Robin: OoooOo, bold I see.

Finn: Or not.

Maybe; Robin: No, we can. I’m just not very nice.

Finn: Yeah, I could feel that.

Maybe; Robin: Hey, you left when I was bringing you coffee and advil

Finn: I prefer tylenol.

Maybe; Robin: I’ll get you tylenol next time then.

Finn: Oh, so you’re assuming we’ll be meeting up for that? I just forgot my socks at your place and wanted them back, don’t get cocky.

Maybe; Robin: My socks now.

Finn: Already betraying me

Maybe; Robin: Finn, they’re fucking socks.

Finn: Betrayal.

-Text conversations between: Bruce and Finn (11:16 P.M. April 5th, Saturday) -

Finn: OMG OMG OMG

Bruce: WHAT

Finn: I think I’m like in love with him.

Bruce: Bro, no. Just stay the weird thing you guys are for a while. Then decide.

Finn: Y’know, you probably are right. Ima do that.

-Dormitories at UCLA (6:48 A.M. April 6th, Sunday) -

Finn’s being awoken by someone knocking on his dorm door. “Finnnnnn. Finnnnneeeeeyyyyy!” Bruce says from outside his door, knocking slowing down.

He lets Bruce in and he brought him coffee it seems. “Sooo? Anything else you and Robin talk about?” Bruce asks, handing him one of the coffee cups on the tray. “You can just read the messages yourself, I don’t wanna explain it this early.” Finn says, grabbing his phone off his nightstand and handing Bruce his phone.

“And you’re surrreeee he doesn’t have some sort of feelings for you?” Bruce asks, glancing between the phone and Finn. “yes, I’m sure.” “Okay, you can’t be completely sure till you guys meet up again. Okay? Also, he was bringing you COFFEE AND ADVIL. Because you decided to bot-” Bruce replies. “Shut up.” Finn says, drinking his coffee.

“Shit, I’m supposed to meet him at his coffee job.” Finn says, brushing a hand through his hair. “Ooo! Go get ready, I’ll go hang out with Vance. Text me once you're done and that you're safe, please.” Bruce replies, grabbing his stuff and exiting.

-Coffee Shop (8:33 A.M. April 6th, Sunday) -

“Hey, could I order a vanilla bean frappuccino? I already had coffee this morning.” Finn asks the barista behind the counter. “Yeah of course, go ahead and swipe your card and wait over there.” Robin replies, smiling at him. “Thanks.” Finn says, swiping his card and standing where Robin asked him to.

“Here’s your coffee.” Robin says, then hands him his coffee with a smile. “Don’t be a stranger.” Robin says, walking back over to where the line is so he can take the next person’s order.

Finn decides to take a seat inside for once and text Bruce.

-Text conversations between: Bruce and Finn (8:51 A.M. April 6th, Sunday) -

Finn: I'm still at the coffee shop, if you want you can bring Vance over and we can do like the weird talk and gossip thing you guys like to do.

Bruce: I will! We’ll be there in like 15!

-Coffee Shop (9:06 A.M. April 6th, Sunday) -

Finn puts his phone in his pocket after playing a random tycoon type game for a few minutes. Drinking his coffee and checking out the window for his friend(s?).

-Text conversations between: Maybe; Robin and Finn (9:11 A.M. April 6th, Sunday) -

Maybe; Robin: Waiting for a date at MY work? Wow, that’s just low.

Finn: I’m waiting for my friend and his boyfriend(?), calm down. And it’s not like we’re dating.

Maybe; Robin: Yeah, but like, at MY work? Do it somewhere else at least.

Finn: Fair.

-Coffee Shop (9:19 A.M. April 6th, Sunday) -

“Hey, Finn!” Bruce greets, sitting down on one of the chairs at the small circular table Finn chose. “Hi.” Vance greets, plainly. “Hey guys.” Finn replies, subtly gesturing towards Robin. It takes Bruce a minute, but he gets there “Oh my.. Is that y’know?” Bruce asks, “Yeah.” Finn replies.

They both just stare for a minute, Robin either not noticing or choosing to ignore them.

“Wow. Okay, nevermind. He’s definitely worth it.” Vance says, turning back to Finn, Bruce continues to stare. Vance has to physically turn his head with his hand to get him to look away.

-Bruce’s apartment (4:43 P.M. April 10th, Thursday) -

Finn is over at Bruce’s, they were studying but then Bruce asked if he and Robin had talked or seen each other since Sunday which sent Finn into a spiral. “Or, and near me out, or you could GO TALK TO HIM OR TEXT HIM.” Vance says, walking in from the kitchen, clearly having been eavesdropping for the last few minutes. “No, shut up.” “Fine, drown in your sadness.” Bruce says, taking a sip of his coke from a McDonalds takeout cup.

-Finn’s Dormitory (2:21 A.M. April 11th, Friday) -

Finn isn’t able to get a wink of sleep, typically he’d text Gwen but Gwen informed him earlier that she’d be with Donna for the next week for her own spring break. And he doesn’t wanna bother her, so he ultimately decides against it and clicks on one of his other pinned contacts, Robin. He just shoots a quick text of ‘Hey, you up?’ he wasn’t really expecting a reply, but one comes through rather quickly ‘Yeah? My place?’ Finn wasn’t really expecting that, but last time he got the best sleep he had in a while, so he writes out a reply and gets out of bed to grab his school bag since he probably wouldn’t be coming back home before his classes tomorrow.

He puts on a pair of converse and a loose sweater paired with the beige colored sweatpants he was already wearing.

-Robin’s apartment (2:47 A.M. April 11th, Friday) -

Finn parks and sighs, wondering if he should really do this. His phone vibrates in the passenger seat, multiple times before a more constant vibration. Indicating someone texted him a few times then called. He reaches over and answers before checking the caller ID. “Yello?” Finn says, holding the phone up to his ear. “You okay? Your car’s just been parked outside for, like, seven minutes.” Robin replies, Finn hadn’t thought it’d been that long, but it is plausible he’s known for getting caught up in his own head. “Yeah, yeah, I’m fine. I’ll be right up, I was just letting my phone charge a bit more before heading in.” Finn answers, scratching his head before grabbing his backpack out of the back seat and telling Robin ‘He’ll be up shortly.’ before hanging up and getting out of the car.

Robin’s apartment complex is nicer than to be expected for a barista, he’s guessing it’s more of a part-time gig since Robin’s never there on weekdays. He even needs a guest key for the elevator and the secretary (Bless her soul, she was so sweet.) had to call Robin and make sure Finney was actually a guest. Once the secretary hands him the guest key and gives him permission to use the elevator he’s on his way to floor eighteen. He’ll definitely have to ask Robin what he does for work, eventually.

He knocks lightly as to not wake any other residents, Robin opening the door a few moments later and letting him inside his ‘humble abode’ as he calls in. “Want some water?” Robin asks, pointing towards the kitchen. “No, I’m good.” Finn answers with a dry smile. “Okay, wanna just follow me to my bedroom then?” Robin asks, now pointing towards a hallway. “Yeah.” Finn replies, then telling him to lead the way. Making sure to leave his bag  by the door, to make for a quick escape in the morning.

Robin lets Finn walk into the bedroom first, closing the door behind him. “You're so pretty.” Robin mumbles into Finn’s neck, leaving gentle kisses between each word he speaks. The quiet voice in Finn’s head telling him this was a bad idea earlier is completely gone now.

Robin slowly turns Finn around and moves them both towards the bed, helping Finn lay down on his back without having to completely fall back at once. Finn starts lightly tugging at Robin’s tank top, silently asking him to take it off. “Right, one second.” Robin agrees, shimmying off his shirt quickly and letting it hit the floor. He quickly dives back in to plant a kiss on Finn’s lips, trailing down his jawline and neck. Tracing his collarbones with gentle caresses of his lips, leaning back up to kiss Finn again before helping Finn take off his own clothing.

Robin pulls his pants down and steps out of them rather quickly, after Finn’s shirt is off. Finn can already tell Robin likes to take his time with things, make them perfect and memorable, he loves how caring and kind Robin can be. Robin starts to palm him through his boxers, Finn telling him he can take them off. Robin responds with a gentle whisper of “Are you sure?” Finn quickly replies with a “Yes, yes, please.” He knows Robin just wants to make sure they’re both consenting to this, them, but Finn wouldn’t have asked Robin to progress if he wasn’t.

Robin starts to kiss along Finn’s neck again, while he removes Finn’s remaining clothing. “Yours..Too..” Finn breathes out, Robin obeying rather quickly. Robin leans over Finn to reach into the nightstand to grab lube and condoms.

Robin opens the lube and warms it up on his fingers before confirming with Finney he’s okay, which he firmly told Robin he was and he’d tell him if he wasn't.

Robin gently circles Finn’s hole, pressing in and out ever so slight as to not hurt the other too much. “Robin, hurry upppp” Finn whines, Robin pressing in half of his pointer finger before looking at Finn’s face which was contorting in small amounts of pain. He presses around slightly, Finn whimpers slightly, Robin guessing he barely brushed the other’s prostate. He softly presses in the rest of his pointer finger, making sure to pay some mind to Finn’s prostate as to make this a satisfying experience for him.

After a few more minutes of the first finger, he can feel Finn starting to loosen up. Breath hitching slightly when he presses slightly harder than he has been. “Robin, just-” Robin, tired of Finn asking for another over the last few minutes, just shoves his middle finger in along with his pointer and presses on Finn’s prostate a few times. “R-Robin-” Finn whines, starting to slightly bare down on Robin’s finger again. Robin angles his fingers slightly, so he’s facing away from his prostate, and thrusts just like that. Finn just whimpering and breathing heavily. “You okay, baby?” Robin asks, leaning over Finn. “S-so okay, so g-good.” Finn replies, breath hitching when Robin starts adding in his ring finger.

Finn moaning and whimpering was one of the few noises left in the room at this early hour. When Robin feels Finn starting to clench exponentially hard, he pulls his hand out for a few minutes, getting multiple protests from Finn. He fingers Finn for a little longer before pulling out his fingers entirely. “Okay?” Robin asks, getting a thumbs up from Finn as a response.

Robin grabs a condom and carefully tears it open, rolling it on carefully as well to prevent tearing. He slowly presses in, eyes trained on Finn’s face for extreme signs of discomfort. Seeing no signs at the halfway point, he takes it as a good sign. He presses in the rest of the way, Finn reaching up and grabbing his shoulder squeezing hard, as if he’s using it as confirmation Robin’s still there. Robin stays perfectly still from the waist down, leaning down to kiss Finn’s forehead. Finn’s eyes flutter open for a minute before he squeezes them shut again. “Look at me, please.” Robin says, Finn hesitating but opens them and they both hold eye contact while Robin slowly pulls out before pushing back in, Finn whining.

“F-fuck, Robin-” Finn moans out, a quiet whimper following. Robin angles himself slightly to start brushing against Finn’s prostate, then starts focusing on finding a pase.

Robin glances away from Finn’s face for a second to look at his electric clock he has on his night stand, the clock reading ‘4:23 A.M.’ It hasn’t felt that long, but it’s plausible for how long he spent prepping Finn. He looks back to Finn to find tears threatening to spill over, Finn’s breathing speeding up slightly. “You okay?” Robin asks, slowing down slightly, Finn quickly responding “Yes, yeah, I’m fin-fine, just pl-please d-don’t stop” Robin starts to slowly speed up, wiping the few tears that spilled over away and kissing Finn again.

Robin is close, and by the limited knowledge he has on Finn’s orgasms, Finn is too. He starts to jerk Finn off in sync with his thrusts.

“S-shit” Finn moans, spilling into Robin’s hand shortly after. Robin finishes, pulling out and rolling the condom off one-handed. He walks away to throw it away and when he returns Finn can see him licking away the proof of Finn’s orgasm from his own hand. “Ew.” Finn says, sitting up and propping himself on one hand. “What’s the time?” Finn asks. “Uhhh, four fifty one.” Robin answers, walking off to his bathroom that’s attached to his bedroom, and returning with a dampened washcloth.

The soft dampened material the washcloths made out of feels refreshing on his sweat covered skin. “Thanks..” Finn mumbles.

Robin feels bad for this part, but knows it’s necessary, he gently glides the washcloth over Finn’s softened penis. Then over the other’s anus, the ring of muscle slightly clenching around nothing. “Sorry.” Robin apologizes when he hears Finn wince. “You’re fine.” Finn replies. Robin puts the washcloth in the clothing hamper in his room.

Chapter Text

-Robin’s apartment (5:34 A.M. April 11th, Friday) -

Finn's eyes open to an empty bed and an alarm clock displaying the numbers ‘5:36 A.M.’ He sits up and quickly realizes he’s naked and hears a voice coming from the bathroom. “Hey! Finn, you okay?” Robin asks, from the other side of the cracked open door. “Yeah! I’m fine.” Finn responds, slowly getting out of bed as to not give away what he’s doing. “I layed out some clothes you can borrow on the dresser” Robin tells him, now leaning against the door frame, with only a towel loosely tied around his waist. Finn just nodding and walking over to the dresser, seeing a nirvana t-shirt and black ripped jeans. “Really?” Finn asks, glancing over to Robin who just shrugs and walks back into the bathroom to give Finn a sense of privacy.

“Oh, so now my privacy matters?” Finn mumbles to himself, pulling the shit over his head. He grabs his boxers from last night before pulling on the pants. “I look like an angsty teenage boy.” Finn says, looking at himself in the mirror. “You’re like nineteen, right?” Robin asks, he knows Finn’s in his second or third year of college but not quite sure his actual age. “I turn twenty in October of this year.” Finn tells him “Damn, now I feel old.” “Wait… How old are you?” Finn asks, worried he’s been hooking up with a forty year old creep who just looks his age. “I’m twenty one.” Robin tells him, “Damn, you are old.” Finn replies, pulling on a pair of socks he found on the floor. “I know, I’m from like dinosaur ages.” Robin says, chuckling a little.  “Maybe even before that.” Finn replies, laughing as well.

“Do you have class today?” Robin asks “Yeah, not till like ten though.” Finn replies, asking for a toothbrush as well. “There’s a red one on the counter for you already, want some coffee?” Robin asks, putting on a pair of gray sweat pants and black tank top. “Yeah, you know how I like it.” Finn replies, picking up the tooth brush.

Finn looks around a little while Robin’s in the kitchen, he has a few rooms along this hallway, like a personal gym and a guest bathroom. Which probably means the other door on this hallway is a guest bedroom.

“Hey.” Finn greets, sitting down on one of the bar stools in Robin kitchen. “Hi, here you are.” Robin replies, handing him a cup of coffee. FInn takes a few sips before setting it down on the counter and asking Robin what he does for work. “Oh, well, I work at the coffee shop on weekends and sometimes weekdays. But I’m in school for computer science, and have an internship at a small tech company. My parents pay for the apartment as long as my grades stay good and I keep the internship.” Robin explains. “So you’re a trust fund baby?” “I mean, yeah I guess.”

“Did you want some tylenol or advil?” Robin asks. “No thanks, I’m gonna head out though. See you later.” Finn replies, setting his coffee cup on the counter and grabbing his backpack before exiting.

 -Bruce’s car, in a chick fil a parking lot (9:34 A.M. April 12th, Saturday) -

“So you hooked up AGAIN, and he even texted you his tiktok AND Instagram, and you’re wondering if he thinks you’re ugly?” Bruce asks, rubbing his temples. “Yeah.” Finn confirms, nodding. “Give me your phone.” Bruce says, holding his hand out, Finn handing him the phone and taking a sip of his Chick-fil-A lemonade.

-Text conversations between: Maybe; Robin and Finn (9:39 A.M. April 12th, Saturday) -

Finn: Hi! Thanks for sending your socials, I’ll make sure to check them out when I get the time. I have something I have to do tonight, and I’m hanging out with friends all day. So I might be able to get around to it either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Maybe; Robin: oh, okay, yeah that’s fine! Have fun.

 -Bruce’s car, in a chick fil a parking lot (9:43 A.M. April 12th, Saturday) -

“Why would you tell him I have something to do tonight?” Finn asks, looking from the text messages on his phone to Bruce. “Dude, you have a date with Liam tonight. You agreed to go literally yesterday.” Bruce replies, eating some of his fries. “Shit, you’re right. Can you help me pick out something to wear?” Finn asks, Bruce saying he can and then starting the car to drive over to Finn’s.

-Dormitories at UCLA (10:21 A.M. April 12th, Saturday) -

“You’re absolutely not wearing that.” Bruce says, from his place on Finn’s bed. “Fine, just pick out clothes and I’ll wear them.” Finns replies, slightly defeated and sitting on his own bed. “OoOo yay!” Bruce says, getting off the bed and walking over to the closet.

Bruce lays out some clothes on bed next to Finn, the nirvana t-shirt he’d borrowed yesterday and a pair of worn blue jeans. “This should work, since you’re probably just gonna grab coffee and study or something.” Bruce says, then follows with ‘my work here is done’. “Oh, shit, Vance is calling me. I’ll be right back.” Bruce says, stepping out of the dorm room.

Finn debates picking out a different shirt, but just decides to keep it so that Bruce doesn’t get suspicious and nosy.

“Sorry, he was just calling to make sure I was okay.” Bruce says, coming back into the room and telling Finney to get changed.

Finn checks out his outfit in the mirror attached on the back of his dorm door. “This looks good, thanks Bruce. What time is my date, again?” Finn asks, smoothing out his shirt a little in an attempt to get out a few wrinkles. “Seven pm. I’m gonna go meet up with Vance, text me once your date is over, please!” Bruce replies, waving as he exits. “Will do!” Finn calls out behind him.

-Dormitories at UCLA (6:42 P.M. April 12th, Saturday) -

Liam texted Finn earlier letting him know he’ll be picking him up so they can drive together. And they are going for coffee, then to a near-by park.

His phone buzzes a few minutes later, it’s a text from Liam letting him know he’s outside waiting for him.

He takes the elevator and walks to the main entrance and sees Liam waiting for him. “Hey, hop in and I’ll take you to my favorite coffee shop.” Liam says, Finn walking to the passenger seat and getting in and buckling.

-Coffee Shop (6:51 P.M. April 12th, Saturday) -

Liam parks a few blocks away from whatever coffee shop he mentioned on the ride over, Finn hadn’t been paying much attention. “It’s about a three minute walk to the place then we can sit inside and drink our coffee before heading over to the park.” Liam says, taking a hold of Finn’s hand.

Liam just blabbers and blabbers on and on about himself most of the walk, so Finn is grateful when they arrive at the coffee shop. Till he sees a specific curly haired man behind the counter, who hasn’t seen them yet since he’s talking to a pretty brunette girl. She reminds him of someone but he can’t quite put his finger on it, Liam and him step in line. There’s about three people in front of them.

Once they step up to the counter Liam orders for them both with a smile and pays. Robin doesn’t really register who’s with the blonde haired regular till he’s about to turn around to prepare their order. Finn and Robin just stare awkwardly for a few moments before Robin turns around and starts on their order.

Liam and him choose the table he sat at with Vance and Bruce the other day. He feels his phone vibrate in his pocket, but he ignores it the first few times till Liam walks away to grab their order off the counter.

-Text conversations between: Maybe; Robin and Finn (7:11 P.M. April 12th, Saturday) -

Maybe; Robin: At my OWN place of work? Really?

Maybe; Robin: This is just low

Maybe; Robin: And with a regular?

Maybe; Robin: I’ll never be able to look at him the same/

Maybe; Robin: Answer me

Maybe; Robin: Bitch.

Maybe; Robin: I’m sorry, I didn’t mean that.

Maybe; Robin: Just answer please.

Finn: Mind your business.

Maybe; Robin: No

Finn: If I decide to fuck someoen else, it isn’t your buissness.

Maybe; Robin: :O WHORE

Finn: NO IM NOT

Maybe; Robin: IF YOU’RE FUCKING SOMEONE ELSE, YOU KINDA ARE

Finn: WHY DO YOU CARE

Maybe; Robin: I DONT

Finn: REALLY NOW? BECAUSE YOU’RE GETTING UPSET THAT I MIGHT FUCK LIAM.

Maybe; Robin: AM NOT

Finn: BRO

Maybe; Robin: Just don’t fuck him. All I ask.

Finn: Why? Worried he’ll be better than you?

Maybe; Robin: He won’t be. I’ve already ruined you for anyone else.

Finn: Nah. I could’ve faked it

Maybe; Robin: …Broski. Let’s be real

Finn: I’m gonna resume my date now, have a great night.

-Coffee Shop (7:16 P.M. April 12th, Saturday) -

“Sorry, it was just Bruce.” Finn says when Liam sits back down, he can feel his phone vibrate a few more times but he ignores it. “Oh, he okay?” Liam asks, sliding Finn’s coffee towards him. “Yeah, he’s fine, just was asking a question about a constellation,” Finn replies, glancing over to where Robin is and Robin’s just staring at him and giving him the stink eye. He snorts his coffee out on Liam. “Oh my, I’m so sorry!” Finn says, tearing his eyes away from Robin. “Ah, it’s fine, we can head back to my place and I can change?” Liam replies, Finn looks over to Robin to see him looking a little shocked and a little like ‘You aren’t seriously gonna do this?’. Finn looks back to Liam and agrees, glancing at Robin one more time before the leave.

-Liam’s apartment (7:34 P.M. April 12th, Saturday) -

Liam’s place isn’t nearly as nice as Robins, which is to be expected since Liam’s job is at a small tech company which pays good but Liam isn’t very materialistic. “I like the decor.” Finn compliments, setting his keys and phone on the coffee table in the living room. “Thanks, you can come with me to my room while I get changed.” Liam replies, walking towards a cracked open door.  “Okay.” Finn says, biting his bottom lip slightly.

Liam lets Finn walk in first, like Robin had done, then shuts the door behind them both. “You can sit on my bed.” Liam says, Finn taking a seat and fidgeting with his finger a bit. Liam takes off his shirt that has coffee on it and throws it in the hamper he has in the corner of the room. Then starts walking over to where Finn’s sat on his bed, tilting his jaw upwards to look up at him. “So pretty..” Liam compliments, leaning down and pressing a gentle kiss to Finn’s lips. Finn kisses back, hooking his arms around Liam’s neck. Liam laying Finn down, in a similar fashion to how Robin did, peppering kisses on Finn’s jaw while helping Finn take off his Nirvana t-shirt. Finn whines quietly when Liam bites his neck, clearly trying to leave some proof of what Liam’s about to do. “Can I?” Liam asks, wanting verbal consent before continuing, getting a hasty nod and a rushed yes.

-Liam’s apartment (8:27 P.M. April 12th, Saturday) -

Liam was very quick, not paying nearly enough attention to what Finn was asking of him. Finn gets out of bed once Liam’s fallen asleep, putting on his clothes quickly and quietly, and walking out to the living room where his keys and phone are. He shoots a text to Bruce, letting him know they date went okay and that the dates over.

Bruce texts him back a little after he’s left the apartment and is walking down the hall, saying ‘I’d offer to pick you up but me and Vance are in the town over and like forty five minutes away. I’m glad it went well tho!’ and Finn had a few options, walk home, make Bruce come get him, or text Robin and ask if he can. He chooses the first option, it’s only about a forty five minute walk, so he’d be home before nine thirty.

He waves bye to the receptionist who’s getting reading to clock out, then is on his way home.

About ten minutes into his walk, he sees two boys giggling and walking both looking to be around his age. He moves to the side to let them past, but they turn around to talk to him. “Oh, hey! You’re the dude from.. From… I think the party a few weekends ago?” The brunette one, and the taller of the two, says. “If you saw me with a curly blonde haired asshole, then yes.” Finn replies, with a small smile. “Well, I’m Griffin and this is Billy.” The shorter of the two says, who he now knows is Griffin. “Oh, nice, I was just walking back to my dorm..” Finn replies, trailing off slightly. “Oh, cool, wanna exchange numbers and hang out soon?” Billy asks, still smiling like an idiot from whatever conversation they were having before talking To Finn. “Sure.” Finn replies, handing them his phone. They each put in their numbers and wave goodbye.

“That was weird.” Finn mumbles to himself, continuing on his walk.

-Dormitories at UCLA (8:34 A.M. April 13th, Sunday) -

Finn blinks open his eyes to load knocking on his door. “One second!” He calls out to whoever is on the other side. He opens the door a few seconds later to an upset Bruce. Bruce walks in and kicks the door shut behind him before going on his mini-tangent. “I set you up with a good guy, much better than Robin might I add, who has a stable job and his own place. You go on the date, then you go back to his place and have intercourse, you leave once he falls asleep? You text me saying the date went well, you don’t mention anything about leaving. You literally are the worst, why can’t you just settle for a week or two.” Bruce takes a few breaths once he’s done. “First off, the sex wasn’t very good, so I left. And I have no reason to give him a second date if I don’t want to.” Finn replies, taking a seat on his bed again and running a hand through his hair. Bruce sighs before responding, “I guess you’re right, I’m sorry I kinda blew up. Anyways, have you checked out Robin’s socials?” Bruce asks “Nope. I probably won’t.” Finn tells him “Why?” “Here.” Finn says, handing Bruce the phone so he can read through the texts between him and Robin.

Bruce stares at the phone for a few minutes once he’s done reading it. “Hm, so he’s like either really possessive or gay gay.” Bruce says, handing the phone back. “I wouldn't say that.” Finn defends. “I would.” Bruce replies, “Me and Vance want food, he’s in the car still. Wanna join us?” Bruce asks, walking over to the door “Yeah.” Finn replies, getting up and grabbing his stuff to leave.

That took too much effort to transport from docs to here tbh

Chapter Text

-Bruce’s apartment (10:12 A.M. April 13th, Sunday) -

“Food was sooo good.” Vance says, unlocking the front door to the apartment he and Bruce share. “I know, we should go again sometime.” Bruce replies, walking in and flopping down on the couch. “Hold on, I’m gonna call Billy, I’ll be right back.” Finn says, looking at something on his phone. “Okay!” Bruce calls out a reply before Finn goes back out into the hallway.

“Hey, Billy” Finn greets over the phone. “Heyyy, me and Grif were wondering where you’re at?” Billy replies. “Why?” Finn asks. “Because inquiring minds would like to know.” “I’m with Bruce and Vance, my friends.” “Oh my god, that’s so specific, thank you.” Billy says, voice laced with sarcasm. “I’m at their apartment.” “Alright, well, can you hang out later?” “I mean, maybe. I’ll text you guys when I’m leaving their place.” “Okay, see you.” “Bye.” Finn replies, hearing the beep on the other side of the phone indicating Billy hung up.

Finn comes back inside the apartment, to Bruce and Vance cuddling and watching a movie. “GAY” Finn says, and points once he closes the door. “Oh my god, why are you like this.” Bruce says, pausing the movie.

“Just go away, Finn. No one likes you.” Vance says. “Both Liam AND Robin like me.” Finn replies. “Nah, Robin and you just fuck every so often.” Vance says, then pointing and laughing. “Cringe.” Bruce says, then flicks the back of Vances head and turns the other way and stares anywhere but at Vance. “Stop acting like middle schoolers.” Finn tells the pair.

-Coffee shop (11:51 A.M. April 13th, Sunday) -

Billy and Griffin are already sitting down at a booth at the coffee shop with all of their orders, including Finns. No one lets him pay for his own coffee these days. “Hey, Finn!” Griffin greets, waving Finn over. Robin’s head snaps up at this, and makes eye contact with Finn and then makes a face.

Finn sits down, wondering what Robin's issue is with him today. Griffin and Billy start with small talk before asking outward where Finn’s hickey came from. “What hick- oh.” Finn says, feeling the side of his neck that’s facing Robin. He presses down gently on the bruise, sending light electric shocks of pain through his body. “Oh, is it from the barista?” Griffin asks, whispering loudly. “No! Absolutely not.” Finn exclaims, drawing attention from a few of the other patrons. “Sure.” Billy replies, laughing lightly.

“So how's life?” Griffin asks after a few moments. “Meh, Liam, the dude this hickey is from, was just bleh in general.” “Damn so he’s shit in bed?” Billy asks, getting elbowed by Griffin. “What he meant to say was, he wasn’t very good at satisfying your needs in a relationship?” Griffin rephrases, drawing Robin's attention from the volume Griffin talks in.

Finn can see Robin talk to one of the other baristas then walk into what looks to be a back room. “I mean, I guess. I’m also just hard to please.” Finn replies after a few moments. “Yeah, that’s fair. Billy gets on my nerves ninety percent of the time.” Griffin says, laughing after his sentence a little. “Oh, like, OH. Oh, I’m so dumb.” Finn exclaims, feeling his phone vibrate in his pocket, deciding to ignore it. “You’re good, most people just think we’re roommates and don’t think too much about it.” Billy replies. “Do you know any of the baristas here by the way? We were talking about you in line and one of them asked if we knew you.” Billy asks, pointing at the counter where the baristas are working. “Oh, uhm, I guess you could say that?” Finn replies, rubbing the back of his neck.

-Dormitories at UCLA (3:11 P.M. April 13th, Sunday) -

Finn’s finally home, he hung out with friends all day, then Liam kept trying to set up a second date. Which he turned him down each time, saying he doesn’t have time for a relationship right now, which isn’t technically untrue. Like between school, Bruce, Vance, Griffin, Billy, and whatever Robin is, he doesn’t have very much time to spare.

He feels his phone vibrate with a text from Bruce, letting him know he’d left his wallet at their place. He decides to check a few of his other notifications, a few from instagram, tiktok, and even twitter. Even a few from Robin, he decides to check them.

Billy: Guess we’re partying.

Griffin: Thxs bro, let us know the address and time.

-Dormitories at UCLA (4:14 P.M. April 13th, Sunday) -

Finn gets up off his bed and decides to pick out what he wants to wear tonight, he opens up his closet and flips through a few things. He sees a worn green day shirt, not his, that's definitely been washed a few too many times. He grabs it and lays it on his bed, and picks out the ripped black jeans Robin had ‘gifted’ him. “That works.” Finn says to himself, sitting down at his desk to work on an essay due on Friday.

His phone vibrates on his desk, it’s Vance giving the address and time, nine pm, which would mean he’ll have to be out of his dorm by eight since the drive is around thirty five minutes not including night traffic plus meeting up with his friends.

“This is gonna be a long day.” FInn says, booting up his computer to start on his essay.

-Dormitories at UCLA (7:54 P.M. April 13th, Sunday) -

Finn gets out of his chair and stretches, checking the time on his phone his eyes widen slightly before getting dressed in the clothes he’d picked out earlier that day. He grabs his keys and phone and he’s on the way to the party.

-Frat house (8:48 P.M. April 13th, Sunday) -

Finn parks near Vance’s car, and he can see Vance and Bruce still in the car. He gets out of his own car and makes sure to lock it. He taps on the glass, interrupting whatever conversation the pair was having before he arrived. Bruce rolls down the window, “Hey! Griffin and Billy are like five minutes away, move back so I can open the door.” Bruce says, rolling up the window and getting out of the car once Finn’s stepped back. “Hi.” Vance greets, appearing seemingly out of nowhere and making Finn flinch. “Hi.” Finn replies, patting Vance on the shoulder.

“Alright, the house is like a five minute walk from here.” Vance says, checking the time on his phone then shoving it back in his pocket. “Okay, Billy and Griffin can meet us there.” Finn says, following Vance and Bruce to their destination.

Finn asks multiple times if they’re there yet (they weren’t). Once they do arrive, Finn heads for the kitchen and grabs a beer out of a cooler.

He walks around a little, then decides to just sit in the living room for a bit with a few beers. Griffin and Billy join him a few minutes after he sits down and they talk for a little before running off to grab their own drinks.

A dude, who looks a little over twenty three, asks if he’s single a few moments after Griffin and Billy leave. “Oh, uhm, I’m not interested, sorry.” Finn replies, not telling him whether he is or not. “So you are single?” The man asks. “Yes, but I’m not interested.” Finn reiterates. “But you’re single, and I’m single. It’s a perfect match.” The man insists. “You’re not my type, plus you’re not respecting me saying no. So, no.” Finn replies, turning away from the man and going on his phone. “Fine, you aren’t all that anyways.” The man says, then getting up and walking away.

His phone lets him know someones calling him with a series of vibrations, he picks up without checking caller ID. “Hey?” Finn greets whoever is on the other side of the line. “Finn, why would you tell me you’re going to stay home spend some alone time with yourself, then I find out from Billy's instagram that you’re at a party?” Robin, he guesses, asks him. “Oh, uhm, change of plans?” Finn replies, getting off the couch and stepping into the near empty backyard. “Uh-huh.” Robin says. “Look, I’m sor-” Finn starts, getting interrupted by a monotone beep indicating Robi hung up on him. “That bitch.” Finn mumbles to himself, walking back inside and running into Bruce.

“Oh, hey!” Bruce greets, clearly having had a few drinks himself. “Hi, let’s go get you some water and something to eat.” Finn replies, laughing a little. He typically wouldn’t care this much, but it’s a little early for Bruce to be at this level, considering they’d been here for less than an hour. “Okay.” Bruce agrees, letting Finn string him along to the kitchen.

-Frat house (11:24 P.M. April 13th, Sunday) -

Finn’s been at the party for a little longer than originally planned, and Billy’s commented on how he should get a glass of water since his speech slurred ever so slightly on a singular word. He sends a text to the group chat one of them had created today, asking if they’d be good if he left. Everyone says they’d be fine and they’d call or text if they weren’t.

Finn debates driving or calling someone to pick him up. He doesn’t really feel like driving and testing the possibility of getting pulled over, and for calling someone he has two options, Liam or Robin. He chooses the latter and swallows a bit of his pride before scrolling through his contacts for Robin’s. Once he finds it, Robin answers on the second ring. “Hey, Finn.” Robin greets dryly. “Hey, so I’m sorry for lying. Could you possibly come pick me up?” Finn asks, biting his lip slightly from embarrassment. “Why can’t Liam?” Robin asks, Finn can hear the jingling of keys from the other side of the phone already. “I don’t wanna lead him on.” Finn replies, honestly. “So you aren’t seeing him again?” Robin asks, Finn can hear the shutting of Robin’s front door. “Nope.” Finn answers, assuming Robin means in the form of a date. “I’ll be there soon.” Robin says, not giving Finn a chance to respond before the monotone beep sounds.

-Frat house (11:36 P.M. April 13th, Sunday) -

Finns sitting on the front steps, waiting on Robin. He sees a black car pull up in front of the house, and the window roll down to Robin staring at him expectantly. He stands up, wobbling slightly before gaining his balance, and walks over to the car and gets in the passenger seat.

“Hi.” Finn says, buckling in while Robin puts the car in drive and starts driving to wherever Robin decided. “Hey.” Robin replies after several minutes.

Finn pulls out his phone and plays on it for a bit, then asks how far away they are from the destination and Robin tells him around five minutes. He knows his place is at least fifteen more minutes away from here, so he knows that's not where they’re going.

“So, how was your date with Liam?” Robin asks, fingers drumming against the wheel with eyes looking at the road. “Oh, uh, good.” Finn replies, turning his phone off and putting it in his pocket. “Must’ve been better than good for you to go to his place.” Robin comments, digging at something. “The sex was better than yours.” Finn replies, Robin scoffs and pulls up at a red light. “U-huh, sure.” Robin says, turning to Finn and looking at him up and down before the light turns green and Robin’s gaze is gone. “Bitch.” Finn mumbles, turning to look out the window. “What?” Robin asks. “Nothing.” Finn replies.

“We’re here.” Robin says a few minutes later, Finn hadn’t technically guessed it but he should’ve guessed that Robin would just drive him back to his place.

Robin says hi to the Secretary whose face brightens, he can tell Robin’s a lot nicer to people who work with the public compared to the majority. After a few minutes, Robin says goodbye and he and Robin head upstairs to Robin’s apartment.

“Alright, you can crash in my guest bedroom, you know where my room is if you need anything, feel free to help yourself to anything in the fridge.” Robin says, shutting and locking the door behind him then walking to his own bedroom. Finn already knows where the guest bedroom is, or where it most likely is. So he heads over there and opens the door, and ta-da it is the guest bedroom. He flops on the bed and groans when he feels his phone dig into his ribcage, he sets it on the nightstand and feels his eyes get heavier and heavier.

Chapter 4

Notes:

Kinda word vomited, but like haha deal with it. So like, this is almost 3k words, so I didn't revise since I wrote it on my phone and I don't like writing/editing on my phone so.

Chapter Text

-Robin’s apartment (8:13 A.M. April 14th, Monday) -

“Finn, Finn, It’s eight am, come on, you have to get up.” Finn opens his eyes to Robin lightly shaking him and gently telling him to get up. “I’m up, I’m up.” Finn says, starting to sit up. “Morning sunshine.” Robin says, ruffling Finn's hair up a little. “Ew, get off.” Finn says, swatting Robin's hands away. “I’m guessing you like my clothes?” Robin asks, pointing at Finn’s shirt. “Wh- oh.” Finn replies, “Here, you can have it back.” Finn says, moving to take the shirt off, Robin objecting rather quickly. “Dude, you have no more clothes, just keep it for now.” Robin says.

After a few moments, Robin speaks again, “So like, this is probably a bad time, but like was Liam actually better than me in bed?” “Yeah, he was so much better, didn’t treat me like glass that could break at any moment.” Finn replies, rubbing his eyes and blinking in an attempt to get his eyes adjusted to the light. “Dude, I don’t wanna hurt you.” Robin reasons, getting an eye roll from Finn and a sarcastic response. “U-huh.” “It’s the truth!” “Mhm, anyway, I have to go to a class. I’ll see you later.” Finn says, grabbing his keys and phone and then exiting the room and apartment. “Bye.” Robin half calls out to Finn and half to himself.

He sits down on the guest bed and sighs, he wasn’t expecting this to be this level of draining—Finn’s great, but hard to read. Robin doesn’t want Finn to catch feelings, because then they have to talk about it and decide what to do going forward, and he isn’t ready for a relationship right now. He simply doesn’t have the time.

- Dormitories at UCLA  (7:13 P.M. April 14th, Monday) -

Finn finally is back at his dorm, he had to tutor a freshman today, it paid enough for meals for the next month so he took it. Then he got coffee, from Robin’s cafe’ (whether or not it was for the coffee or to see Robin is up for grabs.) His eyes burn slightly from how long he’d stared at computers and textbooks today, but as long as he gets some sleep soon, he’ll be just fine.

“Goodnight,” Finn mumbles to himself when he hits the bed.

- Dormitories at UCLA  (10:51 P.M. April 15th, Tuesday) -

Finn’s classes ran longer than anticipated, and he had plans with Bruce and Vance which he was a little late to but was reassured (by Bruce, and Bruce only.) that it was okay. Then Billy and Griffin asked to go to see a new film, which he agreed to since he had nothing better to do.

So now, he’s barging into his dorm room, and shutting and locking it behind him. Setting his keys, wallet, and phone on his desk. Pulling off the clothes he’d worn that day and trading them for the nirvana t-shirt and a pair of joggers Robin had let him borrow. He doesn’t register whose clothes they are, but that doesn’t matter. All that matters right now, is that he’s finally getting into his bed and being able to fall asleep.

- Dormitories at UCLA  (9:26 P.M. April 17th, Thursday) -

Finn had debated calling Robin multiple times today, deciding against it because ‘what if he’s at his internship or picking up a shift at the coffee shop?’ Even though Robin’s his third emergency contact, after Vance and Bruce. He got permission after he called him to come to get him from a party, Robin said he’d be free if Finn got injured or was violently throwing up. How kind?

He closes and locks his dorm door, placing his keys, phone, and wallet back on his desk. Flopping onto his bed, and sighing, still in the clothes he’d worn that day.

- Dormitories at UCLA  (10:38 P.M. April 18th, Friday) -

Finn’s routine of the last week would typically be happening by now. But this time he planned on asking Robin if he could come over.

He texts Robin, setting his phone on his bed and grabbing his backpack, and taking out most of his school stuff to put clothes and his laptop in there. He hears his phone vibrate on his bedding so he goes over to check it. Robin texted back ‘Yeah, course, bring clothes for tomorrow though. I don’t mind lending you clothes, but so far you have not returned shit.’ Finn laughs a little at the last part texting back ‘Yeah, okay. I’ll come over around like eleven?’ ‘that’s fine, see you soon.’

Finn finishes packing his bag and grabs the remainder of his stuff and starts heading over to Robin’s.

-Robin’s apartment  (10:54 P.M. April 18th, Friday) -

The front desk lady recognized him this time and greets him with a smile. “Hi, Finn, right? Yeah, Robin already called and let me know you’d be coming. Here’s your keycard, head on up.” The secretary says, handing him a black key card with Robin's apartment number on it.

He takes the elevator and presses Robin’s floor number. He uses the key that was given this time, instead of trying to knock quietly. Robin's in his living room watching what seems to be Riverdale, not the best but he could also have been a fan of Gray's Anatomy.

“Hi,” Finn says, setting his bag down by the front door and gently shutting the door. “Don’t forget to lock it, please.” Robin says when Finn’s hand is physically on the lock.

Finn walks over to where Robin is, Robin looks up at him and gestures for him to sit on the couch. Finn does and puts his legs across Robin’s lap. Robin rolls Finn's pants up and gently rubs circles on his calf. Robin’s eyes glance at Finn’s, who’s just staring at him.

They sit like that till the end of the episode Finn walked in on, for some reason there was literal satan involved? Trying to steal the townspeople's souls. Robin reaches over to the coffee table and grabs the remote and turns the TV off. “Sorry, that was something I needed to see the ending of.” Robin explains, helping Finn off the couch. “You’re fine.” Finn replies, offering a small smile. Robin leads him to his room, leaving the door open behind them.

“Did you have anything you’d specifically like to do, Robin?” Finn asks“I mean, yeah, kinda.” Robin answers “Nevermind you don’t get to pick.” Finn replies.  “No, no, it’s not like weird or painful. But, I got a new addition in decoration to the room.” Robin explains, not in a way that’s helping his case though. “Show me, then I’ll decide if you can pick.” Finn says “Okay.” Robin replies, walking back over to his bedroom door and closing it.

“Is that a mirror?” Finn asks, pointing to the mirror propped up against a wall behind the door that’s now closed. “Nah, it’s just a reflective surface you can see yourself in.” Robin replies, Finn kicks him lightly and walks over to it. “If you can move it somewhere convenient, then sure.” Finn says, Robin perks up and picks the mirror up with ease and navigates it to be propped up on a wall parallel to the bed

“This good?” Robin asks, checking the placement himself. “Yeah, it’s fine.” Finn replies, wrapping his hands around Robin's neck. “Eager, are we?” Robin jokes, kissing Finn. “I will leave and go home.” Finn threatens, pulling away, eliciting a laugh from Robin. “Sure, pretty boy.” Robin says, pulling Finn back into a kiss. Finn tangles his fingers into Robin’s hair, making a mental note to ask Robin about his hair care routine later.

Robin starts to pull away and leave gentle kisses along Finn’s neck, and moves Finn towards the bed. Robin pulls away fully and checks Finn for any signs of discomfort, Finn getting antsy pulls him back down to kiss him.

Robin resumes kissing along his jaw and down his neck after a few moments, debating his next move. Typically he’d start prepping Finn around this time, but he has a different idea this time. “Hey, Finn, could we try something new?” Robin asks, pulling away from Finn’s neck. “Uhm, sure?” Finn replies. “Okay, sit on the edge of the bed where you can see yourself in the mirror.” Robin instructs, moving off of Finn so he can move freely. “Okay?”

Robin gets on his knees in front of Finn and pulls him forward. “Normal people would just ask if they can suck the other off. Because that’s less ominous.” Finn says, taking his pants and boxers off. “Yeah, but our dynamic isn’t normal at all, so.” Robin replies, starting to kiss Finn's thigh. “You need to be more normal.” Finn says, shivering slightly from the air conditioning kicking on. “You need to not sleep with other people.” Robin replies, continuing to kiss further up. “Oh my god, is this gonna be-” Finn starts, getting interrupted when Robin starts sucking a hickey right next to where he desires Robin to already be. “Eyes open, look at yourself.” Robin insists, then continues with a threat when Finn shakes his head no. “Eyes open, or I stop.” Now this, this, got Finn to snap his eyes open and train them where Robin wanted them.

“Good boy.” Robin praises, Finn glances down at Robin from the unexpected words before turning his gaze back to his own face in the mirror. Robin finally starts taking the tip in his mouth to begin sucking on it, before taking a little bit more into his mouth. “At last.” Finn breathes out, Robin looks up at him through half-lidded eyes and makes a ‘really?’ face the best he can right now.

Finn starts getting impatient, and Robin pulls off for a breath of air and asks him to grab the lube and then put his legs over his shoulders. Finn moves and grabs the lube from the nightstand and follows the other instruction.

“Okay, now keep your focus on your face please,” Robin says, warming up some of the lube on his fingers. He circles Finn’s entrance for a few moments before pressing in lightly, he leaves gentle kisses along Finn’s thighs to soothe some of the discomfort. “Liam was better at this.” Finn comments, Robin stops kissing Finn’s thigh and presses his pointer finger the rest of the way in, Finn can see his own eyes widen slightly and his lips part to let out an almost silent whine.

Definitely a new feeling to watch your own face move and react during this…activity.

Finn threads his fingers into Robin's hair, Robin starts to press in his middle finger and massage his prostate so Finn doesn’t feel as much discomfort. “Liam would’ve already been done with prepping by now.” Finn states, Robin rolls his eyes, presses in the rest of his middle finger, and grabs the lube bottle. “He also didn’t treat me like a porcelain doll who’d break if it was under any kind of pressure.” Finn teases, checking Robin's face for any kind of genuine annoyance or hurt. When he doesn’t find any he exhales a breath of relief and glances back at the mirror.

“Liam also wasn’t good after prep, if I heard correctly,” Robin says, squirting more lube out on his fingers so he can safely enter his ring finger. “You didn’t hea-” Finn starts, getting interrupted (once again) by Robin pushing in another finger next to the two already in there. “I think I did, especially when Billy came over to have a few drinks and watch a movie and talked about you,” Robin replies, starting to finger Finn and press up against Finn’s prostate properly. “That bitch.” Finn says, whimpering when Robin presses against his prostate harder than he has been.

Robin makes his expression look bored like he has better things to be doing right now. In reality, he wouldn’t rather be pretty much anywhere else than between Finn’s legs. “H-hurry up,” Finn says, Robin slows down at this, getting a disapproving look from Finn. “Fine, fine,” Robin replies, speeding up and angling his hand to hit Finn’s prostate head-on with every move of his hand.

Finn tells Robin he’s going to cum, Robin rolls his eyes and speeds up his hand. “Robin, R-robin, I’m serious. I will not last much longer if y-” Finn talks, and talks, Robin tunes him out and puts the tip in his mouth a little before Finn finishes to not create a mess. Finn stares at himself in the mirror for the duration of his orgasm, then at Robin who’s swallowing and slowing down his hand movements.

“Alright, think you’re prepped enough?” Robin asks, standing up and cradling Finn’s cheek with one hand. “Yeah, just give me like two minutes so I can recuperate after you STABBED ME.” Finn replies. “I did not stab you.” Robin defends. “Sure, sure, you just probed me.” “Finn, I’m not an alien.” “Uh-huh just do the weird thingy with your thingy.” Finn says, pointing to Robin’s clothed penis “Finn, what the fuck is a thingy.” Robin asks. “It’s your y’know,” Finn answers, watching Robin unzip his pants. “Oh is it a dick?” Robin guesses, kicking his pants off and pulling his boxers off. “Yes.” Finn replies, grabbing a condom from the nightstand. “Here you are.” Finn says, handing Robin the condom like it’s an offering to a god. “Weirdo.” Robin comments, grabbing the condom anyways.

“Sex with Liam was not nearly this entertaining.” Finn comments, pulling his shirt over his shoulders and throwing it on the floor. “So you’re saying I’m better than him?” Robin asks.“Not at all what I said.” Finn replies, leaning back on the bed. “Maybe we shouldn’t talk as much during sex.” Finn suggests. “Nah, it removes the spice.” Robin responds, opening the condom and rolling it on.

Robin carefully slides in, and Finn makes a face, “You okay?” Robin asks, halting his movements so Finn can answer uninterrupted. “Yeah, I’m fine.” Finn answers, giving a thumbs up and telling Robin to push in the rest of the way. Robin’s careful to watch for any discomfort, and when it does appear and he slows down on pushing in Finn shoots him a glare.

When Robin bottoms out, Finn tells him he can start moving. Robin sets a gentle pace and only speeds up when Finn calls him old. “I’m not old.” Robin says, jerking Finn off in sync with his thrusts. “Robin, I will smack you.” Finn threatens. “Uh-huh,” Robin replies, speeding up and angling his hips to thrust into Finn’s prostate.

If Robin hadn’t been pressing against the seam in his pants the entire time he was prepping Finn earlier, he probably would’ve tried to prolong this a little bit. But, right now, that isn’t really an option if he wants Finn to finish before he does.

Robin hits Finn’s prostate harder than intended and Finn whimpers, eyes tearing slightly. Robin would feel sympathy but he can’t help but ask, “Did Liam make you feel like this?” Finn’s eyes that were screwed shut shoot open. “N-no,” Finn answers, trying to blink away the tears that are flooding out with every thrust. “So, Liam isn’t as good as me?” Robin asks, Finn giving the same answer he did to his last question. “So would you say I’ve ruined you for anyone else?” Robin asks, Finn quickly blurting out “Yes, Yes, you have. Please ju-“

Robin knows that if Finn wasn’t under these exact circumstances, Finn would never have admitted to it. But he craves the meaning behind Finn telling him Liam ( no one ) will ever be as good as him in this aspect.

Finn finishes in his hand and he finishes himself shortly after. Robin cleans them both up and asks Finn if he wants something to sleep in. “Yes, please.” Finn replies, moving over to the edge of the bed. “Okay, you can borrow a pair of boxers and a t-shirt of your choosing.” Robin says, Finn just telling him to pick something for him.

“Okay, here you are.” Robin says, dropping the clothes into Finn's lap and heading into the bathroom to change.

Robin looks in the mirror and looks at his hair, he grabs a silk scrunchie and puts his hair up in a low bun. He pulls on some old sleep pants he got for Christmas a while back. He walks back into his bedroom and Finns looking at his face in the mirror Robin propped up.

“You okay?” Robin asks. “My tear tracks are irritating my skin.” Finn says, with a slight frown. “Can you like walk and stand without dying?” Robin asks, Finn telling him he can. Robin offers a hand to help Finn up off the floor. “You can use my skincare stuff. Because going off your hair, you use five-in-one.” Robin says.

Finn washes his face and uses one of the moisturizers Robin has on his counter. “That’s it?” Robin asks, “Yeah?” Finn replies. “Bro I got like twenty products just on the counter,” Robin says, pointing to his collection. “Well, I don’t wanna wast-” “Just use the goddamn products.” “Fine.” Finn replies, picking up a toner and a serum.

After he’s applied those and another layer of moisturizer to ‘lock it in.’ as Robin said. They get in bed and talk for a little before Finn falls asleep.

Chapter Text

-Robin’s apartment  (7:24 A.M. April 19th, Saturday) -

Robin opens his eyes to Finn opening the curtains to let the sunlight spill into the room. “Morning.” Robin says, propping himself up on one of his hands. “Morning.” Finn replies, walking over to Robin and looks at his hair. “What do you do for this?” Finn asks. “For my hair?” “Yeah.” “I just use shampoo and conditioner.” Robin answers “You’re a fucking liar.”

“Nice sweater.” Robin comments, Finn shooting him a glare. “You gave it to me last night.” Finn defends. “Are those your own pants?” Robin asks, raising an eyebrow. “Maybe.”

Robin gets out of bed and starts looking for clothes to wear. “Want to go get breakfast?” Robin asks, picking up a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. “Don’t you have work?” Finn asks. “Not till noon.” Robin replies, heading into the bathroom to change. “Yeah, can I invite Bruce and Vance though?” “Yeah, of course.” Robin answers from the other side of the door.

Finn shoots Bruce a text to invite them and Bruce texts back that they’ll come, but to text them where. “Waffle house okay?” Finn asks, looking up towards the door. “Yeah, we can do the one by ucla, since it’s close to here.”

-Waffle House  (8:06 A.M. April 19th, Saturday) -

“Hey!” Bruce greets, waving over the pair who just walked in. “Hey, sorry we took a bit longer than anticipated.” Finn replies, sliding into the booth  next to Robin. “You’re fine!” Bruce assures, Vance mumbling something about being punctual before getting elbowed by Bruce.

“So, uh, the weather?” Robin asks, trying to make small talk with Finn’s friends. “The weather is, uhm, weathering.” Vance replies, looking between the other three. “Yeah, we know.” Bruce confirms, not even needing a question to have been asked. “Finn!” Robin says, turning towards his friend(?) “What?” “Why would y-” Robin starts, getting interrupted by a waitress. “Hello, I’m Emma, could I get your drink order?” Emma asks, holding a notepad and pen.

“Yes, I would like a water, he’d like a coke and coffee with lots of sugar and cream.” Robin says, ordering for both him and Finn. Bruce stifles a laugh before ordering his and Vance’s drinks.

“So like, Finn said I’m better in bed compared to Liam right?” Robin asks, Vance just staring like a deer in head lights with Bruce looking mildly appalled. “I don’t ask about Finn’s sex life to that extent, so no.” Bruce replies, thanking the waitress when she brings their drinks over.

“Well I’m obviously the best in bed, out of everyone here, so.” Vance says after a few moments. Bruce laughs loudly and Finn releases a few giggles while Vance looks like he’d have more fun watching paint dry.

Finn just sinks down slightly in his seat from embarrassment once he remembers what Robin just said.

He sits up once the conversation moves to a different topic, “Yeah, so how was baseball?” Finn asks “Oh good, you should try out again next year. It could be good to have a distraction.” Bruce suggests “Bruce, I’m not a prodigy, I was just a good baseball player in a small town.” Finn replies. “Finn, so was I.” “Fine.”

“Do you guys know Billy or Griffin?” Robin asks, placing his hand on Finn’s thigh when Bruce and Vance aren’t paying attention. “Oh, I know Griffin, we had a club together last year.” Vance answers. “I know Billy from Baseball, and Griffin comes to games and sometimes practises.” “Oh nice.”

-Coffee Shop  (3:23 P.M. April 19th, Saturday) -

“Hey. Is Robn not working?” Finn asks. “Oh, he’s on lunch right now, he’ll be back in around forty.” The barista behind the counter responds. “Oh, okay, just a vanilla bean frapichino please.”

He grabs his drink once it’s ready and walks over to a table in the corner. He pulls out his phone and texts Robin asking where he is. Robin comes out of the door near his table. “Where the fuck do you think I am?” Robin asks. “I don’t know, if I did I wouldn’t of asked.” Finn replies.

“Wanna go get food though?” Finn asks. “I mean, kinda yeah.” “Wanna go get some? I drove today.” “Yeah, lets go.”

“So, what do you want?” FInn asks, starting the car. “Uhh, Chick-fil-a.” “Alright.”

“So, how’s your day been?” Finn asks. “Oh, uhm, Liam came in today.” Robin replies. “How’d that go?” Finn asks, stifling a laugh. “Normal.” “Shoulda spilt coffee on him.” “Finn, I can’t spill coffee on customers.” “Still.”

-Coffee Shop  (8:47 A.M. April 20th, Sunday) -

Robin’s waiting for Liam to come in, typically he’d be dreading it, but Finn technically gave him permission to spill coffee on Liam, so he’s going to.

“Hello, could I order a black iced coffee?” A brunette girl asks, not looking up form her phone. “Gwen?” “Robin?” “What are you doing here?” Robin asks.  “I’m here to visit my brother. He goes to UCLA.” Gwen replies “Oh, cool. It’s nice to see you though.” Robin says. “Yeah, I haven’t seen you since like fall of last year.” “We should hang out before you leave town.” Robin suggests. “Definitely.” Gwen replies.

“Alright, here’s your coffee. You still have the same number right?” Robin asks, handing her her iced coffee. “Mhm, I’ll talk to you later, I have to go surprise Finn.” Gwen replies, walking out the door.

Robin doesn’t even really register who that Finn could be till he’s making the next person’s order. The next person in line is Liam though, so atleast he has a distraction.

“Hey, Robin!” Liam greets, ordering his black coffee after. “Hi, Liam.” Robin replies, turning around to make the order.

“Here you ar- I’m so sorry!” Robin says, after purposely tripping on his shoelaces. “It’s fine, It’s fine.” Liam assures, grabbing a napkin to try and get soem of the coffee off his shirt. “Maybe you should go home and change, alone this time.” Robin suggests, mumbling the last part. “That was the plan?” Liam replies.

-Bruce & Vance’s apartment  (9:13 A.M. April 20th, Sunday) -

“So, are you planning to break up with Robin?” Bruce asks, sitting down on the couch. “I’m not sure. Like, the sex is great. But he’s just.. Y’know?” Finn replies.  “No, I don’t know.” Vance says.

Finn jumps when someone knocks on Bruce’s front door. “Who is it?” Finn asks, getting up off the couch when Bruce tells him to go answer it.

“Gwen?” Finn asks, looking at his younger sister who’s standing in the doorway. “Hi.” Gwen replies. Finn looks back to Bruce who waves him on. “So, wanna go look around town and get some lunch?” Finn asks, Gwen nodding with a smile.

-Local restaurant (9:38 A.M. April 20th, Sunday) -

“Did you only come to town to see me?” Finn asks. “Yes and no. I ran into one of my friends. Plus, Donna goes to Caltech, so I’m probably gonna see her before I leave.” Gwen replies. “So, you and Donna huh?” Finn asks, Gwen getting a little flustered. “Yeah, we were together before she left for college, and I’m going to Caltech this fall. But, that doesn’t mean we’re gonna be together or anything.” Gwen replies.

“I can tell she makes you happy, just because I dated her in middle school doesn’t mean you can’t date her.” Finn says, getting the ‘I know, I know’ from Gwen. “So how’s your love life?” Gwen asks, moving the topic form her own to Finn’s. “Oh, uhm, well. I’m in this weird limbo with a guy. He’s great but we aren’t dating or anything.” Finn replies, rubbing the back of his neck a little.

“But you want to?” Gwen asks “Not really? Like, it just.. Like, well, I don’t know.” Finn replies, sighing.

Notes:

Bro, I love Gwen and Donna, I wanna make a fic of them but I'm scared since it isn't like my current demographic.

Chapter Text

-Robin’s apartment (11:34 P.M. April 20th, Sunday) -

Robin wasn’t expecting to hear from Finn today since Gwen’s in town, but he wasn’t complaining when Finn showed up at his door and kissed him. He knows what follows after this, except Finn seems more enthusiastic today. He chalks it up to Finn having had a better day than usaul, and helps Finn to the bed.

“F-fuck-” Robin exhales when Finn starts leaving kisses and bites down his neck.

Finn can feel Robin’s chest rising and falling with every breath from their proximity. Robin flips them soon after though and starts peppering Finn with kisses. Before starting to bite and kiss along Finn’s jaw and near his collar bones.

Finn closes his eyes and breathes in the scent of Robin’s cologne, worn down from the day but still there. He knows he shouldn’t be spending this many nights at Robin’s, but he can’t help it. Robin has comfortable mattresses and Robin’s like a personal heater at night.

Finn opens his eyes when Robin moves to grab the lube and a condom. “You alright?” Robin asks Finn nodding and telling him he is with a smile. He loves the gentleness he receives from Robin, but sometimes he appreciates the change.

He relishes in the caresses he’s sure Robin doesn’t even notice he leaves, but it doesn’t matter, it’s sweet and soft even with the callouses and roughness of Robin’s hands.

He can hear the opening of the lube and can see Robin warming it up. “Alright, take off your pants and boxers please.” Robin says, Finn quickly following the simple instructions.

Finn knows that Robin’s entitled to stopping their un-spoken agreement at any time, but he knows that when Robin does inevitably endit, it’ll hurt. Not because he’s in love with him, but because he’s already so used to having him there as someone he can rely on.

He likes the comfort of someone being there and someone having that comfort from him as well.

He can feel Robin’s anxiety through the fingertips that have yet to slip inside, it feels similar to the first time. “Are you okay, Rob?” Finn asks, propping himself on his hands to be able to look at Robin. “Yeah, sorry. I zoned out.” Robin replies, starting to slip his index finger in.

Finn lays back down and exhales gently, doing his best to not make a sighing sound, since he doesn’t want Robin to think he’s annoyed.

He can feel Robin slowly slide his finger all the way in, and tenses up when Robin presses against his prostate. “You okay?” Robin asks, halting his movements. “Yeah, yeah, I’m fine.” Finn replies, Robin moves to kiss Finn’s forehead before continuing.

Finn relaxes after a few minutes and Robin continues prepping him, and eventually re-situates so he can whisper in Finn’s ears. Nothing that holds value, but it helps Finn and that’s all that matters.

Robin slowly  starts to add a second finger and Finn can feel his jaw clench and unclench when Robin tells him ‘It’ll be okay, you’re doing so great, so good for me.’ over and over and in different variations.

He can deal with the slight burn that comes with this if it means he can keep hearing Robin whisper sweet nothings and be this close to the other.

Robin soon adds a third finger, and Finn thanks gods he doesn’t believe in for how good Robin is at telling when Finn’s ready for another.

Robin angles his hand so Finn’s prostate is being hit at every push forward of his hand. Robin starts to bite down on a part of Finn’s neck that can be covered with a hoody. Finn can feel sweat start to appear on his forehead and the back of his neck, and it’s not a pleasant feeling.

“Alright, Robin, that’s enough. Hurry up.” Finn says. ‘Okay, give me one moment.” Robin replies, withdrawing his hand and grabbing the condom. He opens it and Finn closes his eyes and prepares for Robin to thrust inside.

Robin slowly pushes in, making sure to not go too fast and push the breath out of Finn. Finn can feel the burn from Robin but still wouldn’t have rathered spend his evening virtually anywhere else. Like, obviously Mexico or Paris would be nice, but he’s perfectly content with having Robin kiss down his neck and being surrounded by the feeling of him.

“S-shit-” Robin groans, thrusting slowly to give Finn a minute to get used to the feeling. Finn gives him a thumbs up telling him he can go faster, and he takes more advantage of this than he has the previous times, not by much but it’s still noticeable.

Finn tangles his hands in Robin’s hair, whimpering when Robin thrusts too hard into his prostate but whining when he doesn’t thrust hard enough.

He can feel the familiar feeling of being surrounded, suffocated, by the feeling and smell of Robin and his cologne. It’s completely welcomed, invited even.

Finn starts to tip his head back and arch his back when Robin angles his hips to properly thrust into Finn’s prostate. Robin is probably the best he’s ever had, relationship-wise as well. Even if they aren’t dating, Robin treats him the best compared to all of his exes. Robin’s there, every time. And his exes weren’t.

Finn can feel Robin’s hips stutter into his prostate before he’s gone, he can feel himself spill onto his stomach, a gross feeling. He’s far gone but not gone enough to not realize he just came untouched, for probably the first time in his life.

He can feel Robin cleaning him up with a damp washcloth. “Want to put on some pajamas?” Robin asks, gentle as to not scare Finn away. “Yes, please.” Finn replies, sluggishly getting up. “Can you just grab something?” Finn asks. “Yeah, of course.” Robin says, walking over to his closet and grabbing a hoodie and a pair of boxers.

“Here you go.” Robin says, setting the clothes next to Finn and going over to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

Finn was expecting Robin to close the door, so when he didn’t Finn was wondering what weird level of domesticity this is. He gets changed nonetheless and walks into the bathroom to brush his own teeth.

Robin finishes up so Finn can have the sink and goes change himself. He puts on a pair of joggers and gets in bed. Finn finishes up in the bathroom and joins him. He faces the bathroom door and shuts his eyes.

Moments later he can feel Robin put his arms around his torso and pull him closer. He knows Robin thinks he’s asleep, but it’s still peaceful, warm, and cozy.

-Robin’s apartment (9:46 A.M. April 21th, Monday) -

Finn wakes up with his face in Robin’s chest, he can hear Robin playing on his phone. So a clear sign he’s awake and just chose to not move.

“Morning sunshine.” Robin says when Finn moves his head and blinks his eyes to get used to the light. “Morning.” Finn replies, putting his head back when his eyes aren’t getting used to the light. “Gwen called.” Robin says. “What’d she say?” “Well, she called me. But she was wondering if I’d be able to grab breakfast. She must’ve forgotten it’s spring break for you.” Robin replies, petting Finn’s hair with one of his hands.

“Must’ve. What’d you say?” Finn asks, words slightly muffled. “I said I have something right now, but I could probably do lunch.” Robin replies, fingering combing Finn’s hair. “Is the something me?” “Yeah, didn’t wanna wake you.”

Finn smiles slightly before pulling away so he can actually wake up. “Wanna get ready for lunch?” Robin asks, withdrawing his hand and turning his phone off and setting it to the side. “Oh, I’m supposed to go?” “I mean, if you want to. Gwen will probably know though…” Robin trails off. “I’m fine with that, she already knows I’m seeing someone.” Finn replies, sitting up criss-cross. “Who’re you seeing?” Robin asks, starting to get out of bed. “...I can’t be friends with someone this dumb.” Finn says, getting out of bed.

“I’m guessing you need to borrow clothes?” Robin asks, walking over to his dresser to grab a pair of pants. “I mean, yeah.” Finn replies, prompting Robin to grab two pairs of pants.  “You showed up here in a fit of passion.” Robin says, dropping the pairs of pants on the bed. “I didn’t. Not at all what happened.”Finn says. “Then you kissed me and begged me to take you to my bed.” Robin continues, grabbing two shirts.  “Didn’t you slip me your number when I was innocently trying to get a cup of coffee?” Finn asks.  “I don’t like this game anymore.” Robin says, handing Finn one of the outfits.

“Alright, go change then brush your teeth please.” Robin says, pushing Finn over to the bathroom.

-Restaurant (11:13 A.M. April 21th, Monday) -

“So, uh, how’s your day been?” Robin asks when Gwen sits down across from them. “I mean, it kinda just started, but good.” Gwen replies, laughing a little.

“So, uh, Finn who’re you seeing?” Gwen asks. “Oh, uhm, well-” Finn replies. “He was seeing a dude named Liam, but ended things this morning.” Robin replies for Finn. “Ohhh, okay.” Gwen says, glancing between Robin and Finn before smiling.

“So, Liam, huh? I didn’t know Robin changed his name.” Gwen says. “Oh, no, we’re not-” Robin goes to defend Finn and himself. “Uh-huh.” Gwen interrupts, smiling.

“Gwen, we aren’t like official and we don’t go on dates. We haven’t been on singular one.” Finn says. “He’s met Bruce and Vance. And you’ve met Billy and Griffin.” Gwen says.  “Billy and Griffin weren’t intentional.” Finn replies.

Chapter 7

Summary:

Even Billy and Griffin are starting to make fun of him for this situation he got himself in. Understandable, it’d be more laughable if he wasn’t having to tip-toe to not slip-up when he’s alone with him. Bruce even came into his work today in the afternoon and integrated him on his break. Which would've been scarier if Bruce's demeanor wasn't super sweet and kind.

Chapter Text

-Robin’s apartment (10:24 P.M. April 22nd, Tuesday) -

Robin knows he should end this before he gets in too deep, but he just can’t. He even didn’t reach out for a few days, Finn just showed up at his doorstep. (Not like he was complaining.) Gwen even knows now, maybe this is what Billy meant about how he made his bed and now he has to lay in it?

Finn’s just, well, Finn. He’s never met anyone quite like him, or anyone willing to go to the lengths Finn has for him. Which is a little depressing since they only really have a situationship type thing going on.

Finn’s ethereal in a way he hasn’t seen, at least not for a while. Which is probably why he’s holding on so hard, he knows Finn would run the second he came clean. He passed it off as Finn just being more tolerable than other people, but after he and Finn started showing more signs of intimacy, he knew that wasn’t the case.

Even Billy and Griffin are starting to make fun of him for this situation he got himself in. Understandable, it’d be more laughable if he wasn’t having to tip-toe to not slip-up when he’s alone with him. He knows he can’t tell anyone outside of the ones he’s already told, he wants Finn to accept the fact they aren’t just friends. It was made extremely clear when they had lunch with Gwen, he originally thought he was just imagining it till Bruce came into his work today in the afternoon and integrated him on his break.

He wasn’t expecting it, but it was a little bit of validation he had been craving from his weird friendship with Finn.

He should be sleeping, but he also can’t bring himself to stop mindlessly scrolling through his for you page. He loves zoning out and thinking about things that if he hadn’t put his number on a cup could’ve happened. Maybe he could’ve gotten a normal date with someone.

On second thought, no. He doesn’t really like people, Finn’s just a weirdo who wiggled his way into his life. (Not at all what happened, but he can pretend as a way to keep a sliver of his dignity.)

He clicks the power button on his phone and places it on his night-stand, deciding on actually going to sleep.

-Robin’s apartment (7:24 A.M. April 24th, Thursday) -

Robin has a few missed calls from Billy from around midnight, and a few texts saying he would like it if he answered the phone so he can complain. On-brand for Billy, but probably about Griffin having to work late.

He pushes himself out of bed and stretches, grimacing at the gross popping sound his arm made. His mind feels a little foggy, which doesn’t make sense since he hadn’t really done anything last night except reflect on his poor life decisions.

-Robin’s apartment (11:11 P.M. April 25th, Friday) -

Robin agreed to work the closing shift, he feels a little regretful about the decision but he felt bad for the owner when she had to leave town because of a family emergency.

He sets his things down on the kitchen counter and opens his fridge to find something to eat, he would’ve grabbed something on his way home but decided against it tonight since there was very little left open.

He grabs some pizza Billy and Griffin had brought over when they came to hang out Wednesday, before his phone rings and makes him visibly jump. “Jesus.” Robin mumbles, picking up when the called ID reads Finn with a rocket and alien emoji. “Ello, Love.” Robin greets, doing a poor British accent. “H-hey.” Finn replies, voice a little shaky.

“Hey, what’s happening?” Robin asks, putting the pizza back in the fridge without grabbing a piece. “I-I, uhm, if I send you my location, will you come get me?” “Yeah, yeah, of course.” Robin replies any ounce of tiredness he felt from the day gone.

He grabs his keys and asks if Finn wants him to stay on the phone, to which he replies with a please. Robin remembers something about Finn saying he gets bad anxiety when drunk, and that alone is scary not even including the regular anxiety Finn feels on day-to-day bases.

Finn’s at the frat house he was at last time Robin went to pick him up, which is only about eleven minutes away with current traffic. He just lets Finn talk about a constellation once he calms down, not much different from the nights Finn spends at his apartment but this time he’s not listening as much.

“Hey, Finn, baby. Can you come outside to the front so I can get you in the car?” Robin asks when Finn isn’t talking. “Yeah, yeah, let me text Vance and ask him to find me. I have no idea where l am.” “Okay, I'm about two-three minutes away.”

Robin parks in the same fashion he had previously, Finn had sobered up at least a little from when he called Robin originally if his voice steadying out is any kind of a tell. Robin can hear Finn vageuly blabber about something to Vance before Vance goes “Okay, c’here give me the phone real quick.” and mutes the phone call so Robin can’t hear them anymore.

He guesses Finn was talking about something embarrassing and Vance is trying to save a little bit of his dignity. Fair enough raises concern slightly but he trusts Vance’s judgment.

“Hey, I’m guessing you’re here for Finn?” Vance asks when Robin comes up to him and the person in his arms. “Yeah, want help getting him in my car?” “Yeah, did he give you a heads up that he’d be going out tonight? Like I told him to.” Vance asks, Robin replying with a confused face first. “Why would he tell me?” “I mean, you guys are dating? Or well not dating, but y’know?” “Yeah, not dating. Just yeah.” “We’re not?” Finn asks, eyes wide accompanying his face looking like he just ran over his dog. “Finn, shut up.” Vance says, flicking him in the forehead and dragging him over to Robin’s passenger seat. “Owwww, meanie.” Finn says, rubbing his forehead. “I’m guessing his nerves calmed down?” Robin asks. “Oh, yeah. He was muted giggling when I came into the bathroom he was in. I could hear you talking and I un-muted it then muted it again shortly after. He was just doing one of his ‘I love you’ rants to me. He does them sometimes.” Vance says. “Is he sober?” Robin asks, ignoring Finn asking for food from his car.“No. He sobered up a little when we were coming down the stairs, not by much. But he isn’t throwing up his guts, at least.” Vance says, before saying he’s gonna head back inside and telling him to get home safe. Robin says a simple you too before he loses sight Vance in the sea of young-adults.

“Come on, let’s get you to my place.” Robin says, sighing while he buckles.  “Can we get Mcdonald's?” “Sure.”

-Robin’s apartment (11:42 P.M. April 25th, Friday) -

Robin helps Finn into the lobby, he’s sobered up a decent amount but he can’t stabilise himself completely and Robin would rather not having to make a trip to the ER. “Oh, hey Robi- Is he okay?” The typical secretary asks, gesturing to Finn. “Yeah, he’s fine. Got a little drunk.” Robin says, dragging Finn over to the elevator.

“Oh no.” Finn says, swallowing hard. “What do you mean oh no, Finn?” Robin asks, clicking his floor number. “I’m gonna throw up.” Finn says, clasping a hand over his mouth. “Can you hold it down for like three minutes?” Robin asks. “Uhm, maybe?”

Robin helps Finn through the door and helps him to the guest bath and holds back Finn’s hair that’s a little overdue for a haircut. It’s not long enough to reach his mouth, but better safe than sorry. Finn sits back once he’s done. He has some vomit on his clothes, not very much, but still gross.

“C’mon let’s get you cleaned up.” Robin says, helping Finn up.

He helps Finn get out of his clothes and into the bath. He starts to leave the room before Finn calls out to him “Don’t leave, please.” “I’m just gonna grab you some pajamas.” Robin replies, not at all what he was expecting, but Finn’s probably just worried he’ll throw up again. (he knows it’s a shitty rationalization, but he’s still gonna use it.)

Robin sets the clothes on the counter and sits down by the bathtub, after kissing Finn’s forehead. Finn mumbles something about how Robin’s great and how much he loves him, Robin smiles, he knows Finn means it platonically.

Finn and he just have meaningless conversations till Finn tells him he wants to get out, he helps Finn out so he doesn’t slip, and Finn quickly gets dressed and drags Robin to bed. Finn cuddles up to him, and Robin reciprocates and pets Finn's hair till he can hear Finn snoring.

Chapter Text

-Robin’s apartment (6:27 A.M. April 26th, Saturday) -

Robin doesn’t even remember falling asleep, but it was probably one of the best slumbers he’s had in a while. He blinks his eyes to make them less dry, which works. He can feel Finn shift next to him, he’s guessing he rolled over in the night.

He checks the time and realizes he didn’t sleep long at all. He doesn’t even have an early shift today either, he doesn’t go in till around noon.

-Robin’s apartment (6:59 A.M. April 26th, Saturday) -

“C’mon! It could be fun!” Finn says “keyword; could be.” “Have you ever even TRIED bottoming?” Finn asks, a little curious. “Nope.” “And you don’t want to?” “I mean, it can’t be that bad if you do it every time, but like somethings going up my ass, that cannot be comfortable,” Robin explains, shivering dramatically at the thought. “With correct prep, it is.” Finn replies, getting a sigh and a ‘well you do it every time, so maybe I should at least try it out.’

Finn smiles and pulls him over to the bed, he wouldn’t have even suggested it if Robin hadn’t made a passing remark about how bottoming looks fun. It is and isn’t, but Robin can figure that out for himself.

Finn grabs the lube and a condom and lays Robin down on the bed. He takes off Robin's pants while kissing him, he’s trying to make Robin feel as comfortable as possible since this is clearly something he hasn’t tried before and he doesn’t want Robin’s first time to be unpleasant.

Well, not the first time, but the first time for whatever they’re about to do.

A few minutes later, the clothes they were previously wearing are sprawled out on Robin’s floor while Finn is whispering sweet praises in Robin’s ear. Robin feels weak when Finn starts slipping one of his fingers into him, he’s not sure if he likes the feeling or not. He considers backing out for a moment but when Finn kisses the nape of his neck and whispers “It’s okay, I’m right here.” He melts and his eyes widen before his face softens and he can feel his chest start to collapse in on itself.

He wants to scream. He wants to curl up into a ball and cry. He feels so vulnerable while Finn is seeing the most intimate parts of himself, he typically feels so in control during his exchanges with Finn, because he is in control typically.

But he isn’t. He isn’t right now, and he isn’t quite okay with that, but when Finn pulls away to get a little more lube he panics and wants to pull him in closer. He feels so lost when Finn isn’t as close as possible but feels suffocated when he is. He rathers the suffocation over having to yearn for Finn’s warmth.

He feels a slight burn when Finn adds another finger and starts scissoring him. He never would’ve thought he’d be giving up his anal virginity to a guy he’s in a situationship with, but he’s weirdly okay with it. Finn’s safe, Finn’s warm and comforting. Finn’s-

Finn’s Robin’s crush. Robin realizes it when Finn leans back down and tells him he isn’t going anywhere before kissing him. He’s flooded back with the feeling of his chest collapsing in on itself, in an attempt to get it to stop, and wraps his legs around Finn and hooks his arms around Finn’s neck.

Finn halts his movements for a second before resuming, Robin feels as if he’d made a mistake till he feels Finn hit his prostate, all anxiety or worry is flushed out of his thoughts and into a corner in his head to be thought about later.

He doesn’t like thinking about his feelings while having these types of interactions, it makes his mind go a mile per second. He wants to say he isn’t in love with the man whose fingers are inside of him, but he can’t. Not even in a lie. So he settles for admitting it to himself and himself only before focusing on the feeling of Finn pressing against his prostate.

A few minutes later Finn withdraws his fingers and grabs the condom, Robin feels like glass when Finn kisses his forehead ever so gently before slipping inside.

Robin would describe what he feels while Finn lets him adjust as butterflies, but he doesn’t feel flustered and instead feels a sense of longing. Longing for Finn, he knows Finn doesn’t love him, and will eventually end things between them. If they do stay friends afterward, he’d have to even be okay hearing about Finn’s new love interests. It’d definitely be an adaptation, but he could learn to be okay with it for Finn’s sake.

Robin’s eyes are closed while Finn thrusts into him, but he can feel Finn’s eyes staring at his face, he presumes to get a sense of how he feels or if he’s enjoying it. Obviously he is, otherwise he wouldn’t be awkwardly laying there letting Finn have him in whatever way he wants.

He would feel ashamed, but he doesn't have it in him when he opens his eyes to a pure look of admiration from Finn, he faces away before Finn grabs his jaw and forces him to back at him. Finn’s face looks bored and like he has something else he’d rather do, Robin would feel offended if Finn’s face wasn’t making him freeze and then whimper. Finn feels a little prideful when Robin bites his lips to suppress moans and whines.

Robin finishes before Finn, Finn isn’t really close to finishing yet, so he just continues but tries to be a little more gentle since Robin’s now going to be over-sensitive.

Robin doesn’t understand why Finn’s even still around, he’s annoying and Finn’s sweet and adorable. He feels a little inadequate but Finn makes him feel safe, so he’ll deal.

Finn feels overwhelming joy when he hears Robin have an outside thought of something about how he feels safe. Finn’s stupidly in love with the other, he doesn’t know when exactly it happened, but it wasn’t a big deal either. He just realized, accepted it, then showed up at Robin’s doorstep to see him.

Finn finishes shortly after and throws away the condom, grabbing a rag and dampening it with lukewarm water to clean them both up.

About fifteen minutes later he and Robin are in bed (after changing), cuddling and almost asleep. Finn’s eyes close for a final time and Robin kisses his forehead before falling asleep himself.

-Robin’s apartment (7:37 A.M. April 26th, Saturday) -

Finn opens his eyes to an empty bed and when he gets out of bed he realizes it’s also an empty apartment. He guesses that Robin had to go to work, and he walks into the kitchen to get a glass of water. He sees a note on the fridge.

‘Hey if you wake up before I get back, I just had to cover for someone till noon. I’ll be back before 12:30 if you wanna hang out there or use the spare key on the coffee table. -Robin’

Well, that answers that suspicion. “Wait, did he say key?” Finn says to himself, all of the keys he gets from the front desk are temporary keys, aka they stop working twenty-four hours after he gets them. You do return them when you leave, but just in case, they do de-activate.

He sees a key that doesn’t look like a temporary one, it’s different in color and looks like Robin’s. He picks it up and inspects it, seeing if it’s paper or has a note attached or anything. When it doesn’t he sets it back down and just goes into Robin’s room. He just decides to put his phone on the charger and shower. He realizes he’s gonna need clothes for that, so he chooses something simple from Robin’s closet and sets it on the bathroom counter before he starts the shower.

About thirty minutes later he’s laying on Robin’s bed, with wet hair while he scrolls through his notifications from last night and this morning. It’s mostly just a few tags in Instagram posts along with texts from his friends.

He checks Bruce’s first. Mainly just a few texts asking him to let him know when he gets back home or to text him in the morning. So he does and lets him know that he’s safe and okay, but Robin’s not his own house. Bruce says it's the same thing and he feels a little ashamed he isn’t completely wrong.

He sets his phone down and goes back to the kitchen, for the cup of water he never got. He grabs a cup from the cupboard and fills it with ice and water.

He sits on Robin’s couch and turns it on and opens Netflix, he sees a new profile on it, which is very noticeable considering it was only Robin’s and Billy/Griffin’s profile. He’s a little shocked when it has his name on the new profile, but it makes him a little happy. He just starts playing Riverdale, since it’s all Robin watches and he feels bad that Robin can’t talk about it.

Within the first two episodes his face pretty much just stays in the shocked emotion, why the fuck is V’s dad playing monopoly? He’ll just ask Robin once he gets back.

He plays the third episode and has already figured out who murdered Jason. He pauses the episode to go grab his phone, the time reads ‘10:37’. He’s a little surprised about how much time has passed.

He’s hungry, so he decides to call Bruce and ask if he wants to grab lunch. He does, so he grabs his things, and the key card, before leaving, making sure to lock the door behind him.

-IHOP (11:12 A.M. April 26th, Saturday) -

“Hey,” Finn says, sitting down across from Bruce and his guard dog. “Hi,” Bruce replies, elbowing Vance so he’ll talk. “Hello,” Vance says, rubbing the place Bruce elbowed him in.

“So, how’s your boyfriend?” Bruce asks, looking through the menu. Finn almost chokes on his water. “For the last time, me and Robin aren’t together,” Finn replies, Vance stifling a laugh. “I’m sorry, it isn’t funny,” Vance says. “Okay, maybe I do want to date him. But he obviously isn’t interested in me like that.” Finn says, getting a look from Bruce.

“Okay, well, you can’t be mad. But, I did go and see him at his job. And I might’ve done a mild integration.” Bruce says “Bruce!” Finn exclaims. “I’m not gonna say I’m sorry because I’m not,” Bruce states, shrugging. “...What’d he say?” Finn asks, looking down at his lap. “He, well, uhm, I asked how he felt about you, he said he wasn’t sure but when I got up to leave he started spilling. He said he doesn’t want to lose you, and would do virtually anything to keep you.” Bruce replies, sighing at the end. “Lovesick idiots,” Vance says.

Chapter Text

-Robin’s apartment (12:47 P.M. April 26th, Saturday) -

Finn lets himself into Robin’s place with the keycard, once he does he see Robin on the couch watching a show he doesn’t recognize. “Oh, hey,” Robin says, pausing the show. “I thought you left for the day?” Robin asks, walking over to Finn. “No?” Finn replies, hugging Robin. Robin looks a little surprised at the action before he hugs the other back.

“By the way, did you see the profile I made for you?” Robin asks, kissing Finn’s forehead. “Yeah.” Finn replies, pecking Robin’s lips after he kissed his forehead. “Oh okay, I was just wondering if you did since Riverdale was started on it.” “Yeah, you were watching it when I got here the other night so I figured that I could watch it so I could talk to you about it.”

“I think I love you,” Robin says, backing up a little. “It’s just a show it isn’t that serious-” “No, Finn, I love you.” Robin re-affirms using a more serious tone. “Oh. Oh. I love you. Like I love you too.” “Are you sure?” “Yeah. Yes. Yes, for sure” Finn says rushed tone while nodding.

Robin and he just stare blinking at each other for a few moments, Robin was expecting to get rejected and Finn to leave his apartment. Finn opens his mouth to talk but closes it shortly after.

Finn doesn’t know when Robin started talking again, but all he can do is blink and listen to the words spilling out of his mouth. Is this what his professor meant by in one ear and out the other? “Robin, Robin, slow down,” Finn says when Robin’s chest starts heaving. “Right. Right. Sorry.” Robin replies, licking his slips and steadying his breathing pattern.

“Wait, you know that I love you was meant romantically right?” Robin asks to confirm since Finn didn’t quite get the hint when he left his number on his cup. “Yeah.” Finn confirms.

“Wait, have you liked me the entire time?” Finn asks, he’s either about to feel really stupid or feel a little lucky. “Well the original intention was to ask you on a date, hence the ‘wanna meet up?’ in my experience that isn’t typically a hookup. But I just kinda took what I could get with you.” Robin replies while Finn’s face goes through the five stages of grief. “So I could’ve not had to deal with all of this shit but I just had to make it hard on myself,” Finn says, scoffing at the end of his words.

“We got there eventually.” Robin tries Finn making a face before going and flopping on his couch. Finn digs his face into a pillow and groans. Robin laughs at him before sitting next to him on the couch and going to Finn’s profile on the TV.

“We could watch Riverdale from where you’re at..?” Robin asks, he doesn’t wanna jump headfirst into the relationship by starting a six, going on seven, season show. “Ooooo yeah! There’s something happening that has me on the edge of my seat.” Finn replies, taking the pillow off his face and sitting up. “Alright,” Robin says, getting situated on the couch with Finn.

Maybe they just started dating, but they’ve technically been together for a few weeks now, so they’re just comfortable.

Finn’s always had poor taste in men since the only male figure in his life was his dad, and well he’s.. Himself. Robin, on the other hand, has always had great taste in significant others and friendships. He had a great mother and after his dad passed his uncle was there as a great father figure, making sure to attend all of his academic and any other achievements or events even if his mother had a shift that she couldn’t trade at the hospital.

Robin’s heart beats against his chest when Finn snuggles up next to him, and Finn smiles gently while he watches the show. He feels like he’s forgetting something, but he honestly couldn’t care less.

-Robin’s apartment (4:23 P.M. April 26th, Saturday) -

Robin feels his phone buzz in his pocket “Hold on, I think Griff texted me back.” Robin says, getting his phone and checking it. “Oh, ew,” Robin says, making a face when he sees the name on his screen. “Who is it?” Finn asks, not wanting to look at Robin’s phone directly. “Vance, he needs to smoke a lil something something,” Robin replies, moving so Finn can see his phone. “Wait, what?” “He’s been stressed the fuck out lately over this one dude,” Robin explains, reading the message. “Bruce?” “That makes so much more sense than bush.” “Oh my god, I’m dating an idiot,” Finn says, reading the message himself.

“Wait, why is he talking about how much he loves Bruce but can’t tell him that?” Finn asks. “He doesn’t know he’s dating Bruce,” Robin replies, typing back out a response. “He doesn’t?” “No, it’s really funny. I want him to figure it out soon though.”

“They live together,” Finn says, looking more confused than he was before. “Yeah.” Robin confirms. “Bu-” “Yeah.”
