Birthday Surprise

Summary:

The one where Kongpob flies home for Arthit's birthday secretly in order to surprise him and instead he becomes surprised after finding his home filled to the brim with plants and huge fish tanks.

Notes:

Honestly, the bowl the Beta fish Bonus was kept in triggered me and I feel like if Arthit knew how abusive those conditions were he would fix it. So this fic grew from me watching Fish For Thought on youtube and loving the idea of secret fish keeper Arthit surprising Kongpob with his new hobby. And then find peace with caring for plants and Aquatic life to fill his lonely time waiting for his fiancé.

Chapter 1: Part One

Chapter Text

He had been home a few months ago during his semester break, with Arthit being the one to take on the bulk of traveling to see him every other month. But today was Arthit’s twenty-fifth birthday, and Kongpob had planned in excruciating detail so when Arthit woke up this morning, he would be laying by his side.

He bought the tickets using his credit card dedicated for school, negotiated taking his exams with his professors so he finished the semester early. Called P’Knot and told him his plan so he could have insider help on surprising his cute fiance.

The senior had helpfully picked Kongpob up earlier from the airport and driven him home. On the way however, he cautioned Kongpob in a rather mysterious way.

“I have to tell you, Nong Kongpob, that when you get home, try not to be surprised.” Kong looked over at his senior, brows furrowed.

“What do you mean P?” His heart beat a little faster. The thought of an affair never crossed his mind, and instead he became concerned. Was his lover sick? Had he been injured and not told Kongpob?

That had happened once, early on in Kong traveling to China for school. Arthit had dealyaed his regular visit and Kong became suspicious when he was refusing to facetime. Finally, it came out that he had broken his hand by slamming it in the shipping dock door at work. Kong’s father had called him to ask why Arthit was so gloomy and had accidentally spilled the truth.

When Kong confronted Arthit, the latter told him he didn’t want Kongpob worried about him and for him to focus on his studies. It had been a huge fight that took a while to resolve.

“It’s not what you think, so don’t start worrying.” P’Knot reassured and confused him even more. “It’s just, well, Art has a knew…hobby and, well I think he’s using it to cope with missing you and stress at work, but the last time I was over for drinks it was…everywhere.”

“What is it?” He was curious now, but P’Knot shook his head, his miraculous long hair he had been growing out these years tied back in a bun.

“It’s..a bit hard to explain, but you’ll see it.”

“What’s that supposed to mean-”

“While you’re in town, the four of us should go on a double date. You still haven’t met Nong Milk. Or well, I guess you will at lunch.” Kong shot P’Knot a suspicious look at the change of subject, but let it happen, as they were only five minutes from his house.

“That’s right. Arthit told me she’s really sweet.. Are things going well?” He asked, making small talk. The light outside was the gray of early morning dawn and he glanced over at the time: 4:58 a.m.

“Of course. I mean, we have our ups and downs like anyone else, but we’ve been together almost nine months now.”

“Has she met your family yet?”

“No, just my sisters and brother. And Arthit and the guys. We’re working up to the rest.” Kong nodded at this.

As Arthit’s best friend and his senior of nearly six years, Kongpob had grown to become very close friends to P’Knot. He had been told the story of his senior’s toxic parents and how, growing up, P’Knot and his younger siblings had all been raised by his grandmother, with him helping her with his three sisters and youngest brother. He worked all through school and has worked very hard to get to the place he is now. All of his hardships had formed him into the serene person he was now and of all Arthit’s friends, he was Kongpob’s favorite.

His new girlfriend, Nong Milk, had just turned twenty last month and was majoring in music. Apparently she came from a loving and very rich household, being the only child of her parents. According to Arthit, the two were hilarious to watch, because they bickered at each other all the time.

‘It reminds me of how we were in the beginning.’ He had messaged Kong, while at dinner meeting her for the first time. Kongpob immediately shot back his own text.
‘The beginning P? We were bickering over what to send your Mother and Father for New Years just this morning.’

Back in the present, they wrapped up their conversation, with Kongpob telling P’Knot how long he was going to be in town for and a promise to schedule something with just the four.

“And remember what I told you Nong! Don’t be surprised.” P’Knot called out the window ominously. Kong turned back to him but the other was already driving away.

Shaking his head, Kong turned back to the gate of the house, before punching in the code and walking through. When he made it to the front door, he set his duffle on top of his suitcase, unlocking the front door with his key and pushing it open to the dark entryway.

He left his bags by the door and worked to take his sneakers off and put them on the rack before finally looking up. And freezing up at first sight of the living room.

The couch, TV, and coffee table were all still in their rightful place. But all around the room were plants covering empty surfaces like the coffee table and large aquarium tanks were everywhere that previously empty wall space had been. And not just any tanks, he realized as he walked closer.

All of them were filled with beautifully vibrant green plants gently swaying in their current and dark mossy green and brown bark like the roots of massive trees had been planted directly into the tank's dark pebbled bottom.

Here and there, vibrant little fish would dart by before hiding, contentedness ruined by the sudden appearance of a stranger. And there wasn’t just fish, but snails and what looked like some shrimp of some kind lived in the tanks as well.

He watched, absolutely mesmerized as one bright red and peacock blue fish puffed up upon seeing him, trying to hide behind a large swaying leaf while at the same time, trying to look intimidating.

Kongpob stood up straight from leaning over so long to watch the little guy. The room had become a mesmerizing jungle and an aquarium all at once.

For a date one time, Kongpob took Arthit to a botanical garden. His senior had been at peace there and wistfully said that he could live in a place like that, because he loved being in nature, just not being outside. But this…

Had Arthit done all this? His messy, introverted, kind-of-lazy-but-in-a-cute-way senior, who, years ago, had to buy a how-to-guide on feeding a fish at his office was now masterfully and artfully creating all of these landscapes for all of these aquatic creatures while also tending to the hundreds of various sized plants, dotting the room.

And they didn’t stop there. As he made his way upstairs to their bedroom, he found more plants in the hall and when he opened their bedroom door silently, he found three more tanks and even more plants in there as well. And there, on the bed sleeping peacefully to the sounds of the running waterfall on a hundred gallon take in the corner was his beautiful lover.

Kongpob held onto his disbelief, but at that moment he completely melted at the sight of the love of his life. He threw his jacket off and crawled onto their bed, wrapping his arms around his sleeping beauty, who grunted and snorted a bit in his sleep. He fell asleep just like that, still dressed in his travel clothes and all, happiness making his heart warm as his little bundle of grumpiness cuddled into him.

~

When he finally woke up, it was to Arthit’s alarm and his own, set to remind him to call his lazy baby. He turned them both off and slipped his phone in his jeans before extracting himself out of Arthit’s arms and heading down stairs.

In the morning light shining through the windows, the rooms looked even more surreal and vivid. He ignored it all for now, instead headed to the coffee maker and starting a fresh pot.

He had just hit the start button when his phone rang. Taking it out, he laughed a little at the sight of Arthit’s name on the screen.

“Yes lover?” He answered, leaning back against the counter.

“Hey, I had the weirdest dream.” Arthit’s voice was deep and husky with sleep, just the way Kongpob liked it. “You were here, and sleeping next to me. It was so real, I feel like your side of the bed is still warm.”

There was a definite sad pout to his voice and Kongpob frowned as he snuck up the stairs, heart tightening at the hollowness in his boyfriends voice. This whole time while planning to surprise him, he had never felt more sure in his decision and happy he made it.

“Well, why was it a weird dream?” He asked and he heard the older man sigh a bit.

“Because it was so weirdly real. Like I remember that I dreamed I woke up and was breathing in your cologne…” He trailed off. “Anyway. Why didn’t you call me this morning? My snooze alarm went off and you still hadn’t called.”

And this was the moment he was waiting for. He opened the door quietly, phone still against his ear. On the bed, Arthit lay completely wrapped in the comforter, body turned away.

“Because I thought it would be better to wake you up myself.”

There was a shout, as Arthit rolled around at the sound of someone speaking behind him, and then he shouted again, this time a strangled, “KONGPOB!” that sounded both elated and livid in the same breath. And then there was a loud thud as he tried to stand and fell from the blanket wrapped around his legs.

“P’!” He ran to Arthit’s side of the bed to help him, but instead was tackled to the ground. Arthit landed on top of him, a solid and familiar warmth as his boyfriend straddled his waist, clasped his neck and clashed their mouths together.

Kongpob leaned back on his elbows as they kissed, enjoying the warm and pressure of the rather chaste kiss. Finally, over Arthit’s shy kisses, he leaned up and grabbed him by the hips while at the same time swiping his tongue along Arthit’s bottom lip. Arthit let out a small sound of surprise, leaning in harder, mouth opening up to play. His movements were slow and Kongpob knew it was because he was still sleepy. When Arthit pressed his hips down a bit in teasing, Kongpob finally pulled away.

“You know,” He panted heavily, and Arthit licked his lips, eyes heavy with that look he got that made Kongpob always want him no matter where they were, “We really need to talk about how you had no idea a fully grown man was walking around our house, made coffee and everything and you had no –”

His words cut off when Arthit ground down onto him suddenly, and he leaned his head onto his senior’s shoulder, groaning at the feeling.

“I, in fact did know, I literally told you,” He sounded smug and finally Kong grabbed his shifting hips, holding him still.

“Except you thought it was a dream..” He took control of the teasing, kissing and sucking along Arthit’s neck and shoulder. He pulled the side of the collar away to have more space to explore.

“If this is a dream, it’s the most realistic one I’ve had of these..” He sighed and then gasped when Kong nibbled and licked a sore spot onto his favorite part of Arthit’s neck.

“So you’ve had dreams like this?” He whispered cloyingly before licking the shell of his lover’s ear. In response, Arthit began moving his hips again.

“Please, like you haven’t.” He growled and as Kong began moving against him he clasped the nape of his neck, lips tangling once more.

“Happy birthday, baby.” Kongpob muttered, and Arthit shivered. Pulling back, he stared into Arthit’s brown eyes taking in the blown pupils from arousal and soft look from love and affection.

“I love you,” Arthit whispered.

“I love you too.” He returned, and they resumed their activities.

~

“So, I’ve been meaning to ask you,” he spoke over the noise of the shower, and Arthit turned to look at him as he scrubbed his hair. They had spent all morning in bed and finally made it to the shower after some breakfast, also known as toast.

“Yeah?” He was trying to get soap out of his hair and Kong positioned him under the spray better.

“When did you start all of the plants and the fish? And why didn’t you say anything?” He watched as Arthit finally finished rinsing and opened his eyes.

“Well I wasn’t hiding it from you. I knew you were going to see it all during your break. And it all started with Bonus.”

“Bonus? The little Beta you brought home from work years ago?”

“Well yeah. I found out that I was not keeping him in the best conditions, so I made him a sweet aquarium set up for his final days. After I made his, I realized how much I like all of it: the look, the routine, everything. It was peaceful working on them when I was missing you so much I couldn’t sleep. And then the tanks moved over to plants and then more of both and now here we are.” He shrugged, finished with his explanation and Kongpob pulled him in close.

“You’re gonna have to show them all to me. And for the record, I’ve missed you too.” His heart ached at the thought of a sad Arthit and he pulled him even closer.

The plan was to get dressed, get Arthit a present that he chose(this was an arrangement they did for every birthday, two things from the other, one chosen and one surprise), then lunch with their friends, then killing time before dinner with Arthit’s and Kong’s parents.

The first time the two couples had met, it had been extremely awkward. They had sat quietly across from each other at a packed restaurant. It wasn’t until desert that their mother’s finally started talking and immediately hit it off. The two woman had declared that every birthday and holiday Kong and Arthit shared, the six would get together for a meal to celebrate. It was much less awkward now, and Kong was looking forward to surprising both sets of parents. He and Arthit agreed to keep the secret.

He definitely felt more human after showering and getting dressed. He sat on the bed tying his laces and looked up when Arthit walked in and paused.

Arthit never bragged about how he looked, nor did he wear flashy or intense outfits. But still, Kongpob watched completely in rapt at how handsome and sexy his fiance was.

He stood across the room, rolling up the sleeves of an emerald and white striped button down shirt, his forearms flexing with the movement. A light gray graphic t-shirt for a horror movie clung snugly to his chest and abs, showing the faintest hint of the tantalyzing form underneath. And then the black skinny jens that hung on his hips tight enough to show off his backside but loose enough they were comfortable.

Kong stood up and walked over slowly to where Arthit was still fidgeting with his sleeves. The shorter man looked at hearing the approach, and frowned with narrow eyes when he saw Kongpob’s expression.

“Oh no you dont, put your eyes and dirty thoughts away, we have places to be.” He said, throwing an arm up to fend off his junior.

“Just a kiss?” He grinned with a down right predatory look and Arthit looked asstounded, thick brows shooting up.

“What the hell is wrong with you? Was this morning not enough or something?!” He began backing up, but Kongpob smiled brighter, stalking after him.

“I’ve been a starving man for months.” He growled, lunging forward, but Arthit was faster, dodging out of the way and laughing a bit.

“Or you have a glandular problem.” He sprinted away as Kong pob reached for him again. He opened his arms wide with a sweeping motion and finally caught the running senior who laughed as arms circled his waist. Kongpob pulled Arthit’s back into his own chest, leaning his face into his neck and breathing.

“Just one?” He whispered into the shell of Arthit’s ear. The latter shivered and Kongpob smiled at his win. Arthit let out a fake sigh, like the entire thing was exasperating.

“Fine. Wait-wait where are you going–Kongpob!” He squirmed in the strong hold.

“I didn’t say where…”

~

The new plan was now to go to lunch with their friend group, then shop for Arthit’s present, then dinner.

The good news was that it was Saturday when Arthit was off and they had all day to waste and enjoy each other. Their schedule was flexible, and allowed for any makeout or…other sessions in it.

About a year ago, Arthit finally bought a car to commute and get around instead of taking taxi’s everywhere. It was black and had a classic look to it, the inside sleek black leather that cleaned up nicely. Kongpob drove them today as they headed to a restaurant that was near Bright’s bar.

Kongpob had missed the little things while away. Like holding Arthit’s hand as he drove, and Arthit pulling over his arm so their clasped hands sat in on his lap. Or listening to his lover grumble about music while changing the station on the radio. Watching as Arthit put on his sunglasses and leaned back in his seat with a happy smile on his face.

He almost didn’t want the ride to end and sighed when they finally made it.

He’d been to this same restaurant awhile ago, and recognized their rather large friend group taking up an entire patio.

Oak was the first to spot them and he called out, “Yo, is that Ai’Kongpob I see, or did P’Arthit find a hot doppelganger?”

Him and M started laughing at the joke as Prae pulled Kongpob into a hug.

“Oho, true love is flying all the way from east China to surprise your fiance on his birthday.” P’Bright batted his lashes at Tuta, “Will you do that for me?”

“Bitch please, you won’t even clear my tab at your bar. Don’t make me call your girlfriend over here.”

They said their greetings around the circle, everyone throwing out happy birthdays and welcome homes. Until finally everyone sat down to actually eat. They sat across from P’Knot and his date. Arthit narrowed his eyes as his best friend took on a smug smile at seeing Kongpob’s arm around his waist.

“You knew didn’t you, bastard.” Arthit teased and his best friend broke out into a sheepish grin.

“What can I say, I’m a sucker for romance.” He smiled, hugging Arthit and clapping Kongpob on the shoulder with a wink.

“Speaking of romance, Kongpob, allow me to introduce you to my girlfriend, Nong Milk. Milk, this is Nong Kongpob.” She was pretty, with large dark eyes with thick lashes, and long black hair that reached her waist. She seemed petite and kind, smiling brightly.

“I’ve heard so much about you! It’s so nice to put a face to a name. Especially one I’ve heard so much.” She glanced in Arthit’s direction, who flushed a bit at the ears.

“Likewise. Though you're much taller than I’ve heard.” He smiled at her as she laughed a bit.

“Long time no see, stranger! How’s school been?” May asked as she too joined in. She pushed back her hair, flashing a pretty engagement ring. Kongpob had helped M pick it out over facetime a few months ago. However the part Kongpob was focused on was her stomach.

Shortly after they became engaged, May found out she was expecting, which led to M calling Kongpob with a complete meltdown over not being prepared and worried he would turn out like his father and Kongpob had to get him to breath and relax and to talk to May instead of pulling an Arthit and not saying anything to keep her unstressed.

She still wasn’t really showing, and you could only really see it if you knew, but as he had experience with babies and pregnant women first hand from his sisters, he could see May’s glow clear as day. He blinked and looked away.

“Good. Good. How’s your new job?” He smiled at her and she rolled her eyes.

“Frustrating. We just requested to apply for a new chargement…” And she talked until it was time to order food.

Chapter Text

Other than P’Bright getting absolutely smashed and getting P’Prem to do the same, lunch went well. They left after saying their goodbyes and climbed into the car, this time with Arthit driving.

“Where are we going?” Kongpob asked, looking over at him and kissing the back of his hand.

“To one of my new favorite stores. It's an aquarium shop.” He glanced over at Kongpob with a dazzling smile.

Kongpob tilted his head, taking in this new side of his boyfriend. “Oh. Are you wanting to buy a new fish?”

Arthit shook his head, eyes still on the road. “Oh no. I have a female guppy set up in a nursery tank because she's due any day now. No, I need to get some more blood worms and plant fertilizer, and I wanted to get some water plants as my gift.”

He spoke with such a peaceful air to him, both excited and happy. This tone was usually reserved for when Arthit talked about his action figures or a new comic book or movies character. It made Kongpob’s heart flutter seeing the older man so excited, and he turned in his seat to look at him better. “Tell me more, I want to hear about your new hobby. What are..blood worms? And I thought fish had babies by egg? You make it sound like she’s giving birth.”

Arthit glanced over at him, eyeing him with that shy, suspicious look. “Well, she will. Guppies are one of the only fish types that have pregnancies and live births. And blood worms are a type of food. I’ve since gotten a few more fish types other than Betas.”

Kong nodded along to this answer. “And the shrimp things I saw?”

A thoughtful look crossed his face before he answered. “Caridina shrimp. There are a couple mini crabs too. They're kind of shy though. And some snails. A while ago I had to get some assassin snails because some floating red roots I ordered contained ram snails. They completely infested two of my tanks.” He did his cute little irritated sniff and Kongpob wanted to kiss him.

“Mm. And those aren’t good?” He watched as Arthit sniffed again. ‘He definitely doesn’t like those snails’.

“No, they were eating the food I put out for my fish and changing the PH levels of my tanks. My tanks are all freshwater and if the Ph changes drastically then it can kill off everything in it. Animals and plants. Oh, we’re here.”

The building looked like a large white warehouse with the words, “Aquatic Finds' ' written in blue.

They got out of the car and Kongpob ran over to grab Arthit’s hand, pulling him closer to him. “How did you learn about all this stuff?”

Arthit shrugged a little.“Youtube, research, and facebook.”

The doors slid open. At the counter on the left side sat a girl texting on the phone and at the right of the door were shopping baskets and in front, rows and rows of tanks filled with fish and plants, and empty tanks for sale and shelves of other equipment like rocks and nets.

“P’Arthit, hi!” The girl called, doing a little wave and glowing bright red with a blush. She was cute, with short hair cut at her chin, and blunt bangs across her forehead. She also looked young, maybe twenty or so and Kongpob felt smug watching as she caught a glimpse of them holding hands and frowned a bit.

“Oh, Nong Pear. This is my fiance Kongpob. Kongpob, this is Nong Pear. She showed me a few facebook communities to join and a couple youtube channels when I first got started.”

“Oh, the fiance.” She seemed a bit thunderstruck but recovered quickly, smiling again. “It’s nice to meet you P’Kongpob. I’ve heard a lot about you, I just didn’t realize you were home from…Anyway, what brings you in today? Anything I can help with?”

Kongpob narrowed his eyes at her a bit. He didn’t get truly possessive of his lover often. Usually he said it as a joke. But when it did happen he became one hundred percent possessive. He slipped his arm around Arthit’s waist, holding onto his hip and felt Arthit shoot him a warning glance.

“I know what I’m looking for, thanks though.” And they walked off between the shelves out of ear shot. “You can let go of my ass now.”

“Sorry P’. I didn’t know my hand had slipped that far.” Kongpob let go, but not after squeezing his hand a bit. Arthit smacked his arm at the grab.

“Kongpob!”

“So what’s these pebbles for? I know like the sand and stuff is for the bottom of the tank, but what are the bigger rocks for?” Arthit still shot him a look behind blushing cheeks, but sighed and answered anyway.

“It’s all called substrate. It’s to create a more realistic scape for the animals, but sometimes you get the bigger rocks to help hold down the root systems of the plants so they don’t float back up.” They walked into the plant section.

“Mm. Oh I like this stuff.” He pointed towards a blanket of green floating on top of a large tank.

Arthit glanced over at the tank. “That’s called duckweed. That’s what’s on top of the water in the tank in our room.”

“I have to be honest, when I got in this morning, I didn’t look at all the tanks. I was too focused on seeing you.” He pecked the older man’s cheek and smiled when Arthit gave that classic shy grin that Kongpob loved so much. It was quite possibly one of his favorite faces he made.

They got a few of the plants, and Arthit also got a back of moving blood worms that made Kongpob a bit squeamish, which seemed to make the old head hazer appear out of Arthit.

“You carry the bag. And make sure to hold the bottom so they don’t fall out.” He had an evil smile on his face.

“But P’ they’re moving.” He looked almost green in the face and Arthit shrogged in delight.

“Think of it as paying me back for playing grab ass and claiming me in front of Nong Pear.” He sounded smug and Kongpob put on an innocent face, opening his mouth to say something but Arthit cut him off, “Don’t even say you didn’t mean it that way or something like that. I know your jealous face. I also know Nong Pear has a thing for me and I have shut her down many times.”

Kongpob grumbled under his breath at that.

They dropped the new aquarium stuff off at the house, and Kong watched Arthit as he carefully put food in each tank and placed the new plants in a solution to clean them in preparation to be added to their new tanks.

Eventually they headed to the restaurant they were meeting their parents at.

“So I’ll go in first and act all down about you not being here, and then I’ll say I’m going to grab my phone from the car and Ill you come get you.” Kongpob nodded along, hunched over in the passenger seat so noone could see him. Arthrit gave him a peck before heading into the restaurant.

Kongpob sighed and waited. And waited. After about ten minutes and his back and neck starting to ache a bit from the position, he heard a knock on the window and looked up to find Arthit outside.

They walked into the restaurant hand and hand and saw both sets of parents with their backs to him. He let go of Arthit’s hand who walked back to his seat, smiling brightly at Kongpob as he reached his mother and wrapped his arms around her.

She let out a sound of surprise and turned to tell off whoever it was but paused at seeing Kongpob.

“Mae! Por!” He nodded to all four of the parents around the table and finally his mom let out a small sound of excitement, standing up from her seat and pulling him into a tight hug.

“Why didn’t you tell us?”

“I was worried that Arthit was feeling too down.”

“When did you get in?”

“What about the rest of the semester?”

Kongpob sat down next to Arthtit, the questions still flooding in.

“I got in this morning. I wanted to surprise Arthit for his birthday and was able to work out finishing my semester a bit early.” He placed his hand on Arthit’s thigh under the table.

He watched as Arthit’s mother started smiling smugly, nudging his mother with her elbow. They both giggled. “Oho, so that’s why Ai’Oon didn’t answer the phone this morning. You two were in be-”

“Mae!” Arthit was scarlet red, and had smacked his hands on the table. Kongpob couldn’t help laughing at the entire situation.

Arthit’s mother took a sip of her wine, shrugging. “You're both adults honey, and you’re engaged. Your father and I-”

“Mae, I beg of you.” Arthit had his glowing face in his hand and Kongpob put his hand on his lover back, still chuckling and deciding to join the teasing.

“P’Arthit, you should listen to your mother’s wisdom. Carry on Mae. I’m listening.” He leaned his chin on one hand, dodging an elbow from Arthit. Both their father’s awkwardly coughed and shifted in their chairs.

~

As much as he had enjoyed dinner, Kongpob was happy to be home with Arthit.

He leaned over his lover’s back as they walked through the door, pressing small kisses to Arthit’s neck. In the entrance hall he pulled away as they both worked their shoes off. When they finished they met in an embrace, Arthit softly kissing Kongpob, inhaling deeply and smiling.

“I love you.” He whispered and Kongpob wrapped his arms fully around Arthit, hugging him tightly. He took a moment to breathe him in, the smell of his earthy shampoo and conditioner and his spicy cologne. The smell of sweat and travel lingered on his skin and it just made Kongpob bury his face into Arthit’s shoulder even tighter.

“I love you too. I’m so happy to be home with you.You have no idea-” He suddenly felt Arthit’s lips brushing his neck softly. “No idea how much I’ve missed you.” He felt teeth scrape lightly at his neck and slowly pulled Arthit along, headed towards their room. Pulling Arthti’s face towards him, their lips crashed together.

His hands roamed along his lovers body before landing at the front of his jeans and lightly palming at the half hard member there. Arthtit groaned in response, pushing towards the touch and licking Kongpob’s bottom lip, deepening the kiss.

Arthrit’s hand traveled below his shirt, hand warm and traveling along his abs and up to his chest. He pushed his shirt up and incessantly until Kongpob obliged, taking it off and tossing it to the side hearing it land somewhere in the living room.

Arthrit’s hand paused on its journey, softly running his thumbs along the V indent on Kongpob’s hips, a teasing brush that lingered just below his boxers. He kissed Kongpob’s ear before whispering into it hotly. “Have you been working out more? I noticed this morning and forgot to ask after you distracted me..”

Kongpob chuckled a bit, before leaning down and grabbing Arthit around the waist. He threw the man up and onto his shoulder to carry him up the stairs as Arthit yelled and squiremed. Kongpob to the time to palm at his butt as they walked up the stairs, gleefully laughing.

“You know you don’t have to keep your hand there.” Arthit scolded and Kongpob kiss a bit of exposed skin at his hip, making the older man squirm.

“It’s for stability.”

“Stability my ass.”

“Precisely.” He dropped him unceremoniously onto their bed and Arthit huffed at the sudden rushing feeling. Kongpob watched him with heavy eyes as Arthtit took in his form with dark wanting eyes. He waited patiently until the older man removed his own shirt, opened his legs a bit, and then beckoned Kongpob to him.

Kongpob slotted between them, rubbing Arthit’s thigh and bringing their lips back together. And then he leaned back and went to work stripping Arthit of his pants and briefs.

“To answer your question, P’Arthtit, while you have been amazing your botanical gardens, I have been working out when I missed you.” Which was true. For the last six months especially, Kongpob had hit the gym every opportunity possible and had worked to attain nearly twenty more pounds in just muscle.

Arthit ground up into him, working on loosening Kongpob’s belt and zipper before using his feet to push down his underwear and pants at the same time. They were now both completely naked aside from their engagement rings and gears.

Kongpob to Arthit in his hand, leaning over to grab the lube out of their nightstand as he stroked. Arthit saw the bottle and closed his eyes on relex. Konpob couldn’t help his affection at the sight. No matter how many times, how many years and how much Arthit wanted him, The older man just couldn’t bear looking at Kongpob when he prepped his lover.

His shy fiance looked painfully awkward, eyes squeezed shut and face turned away as Kongpob inserted his first finger pumping it lightly. Their first time having sex all those years ago almost hadn’t happened because of how Arthit had looked when Kongpob started this part. He had been so hurt and uncomfortable that he was forcing his P’ or hurting him that he stopped completely and apologized. It wasn’t until Arthit yelled at him that he liked it and wanted more, but was just embarrassed that Kongpib continued.

He watched his P’s face constantly now when they were together in bed, understanding his little expressions and cues. Like now, he was waiting for Arthit to adjust before he would start moving, and only did so when Arthit wrapped his arms around his neck and began mouthing and sucking along his neck and jaw.

He started a slow and loving pace, driven by the soft whimpers and gasps in his ear. Soon though Arthit was digging his heels into Kong’s hips and asking, begging him to go harder and faster. Kongpob, never one to disappoint the love of his life, sat up a bit, before repositioning Arthit until the older man’s legs rested on his shoulders before returning to thrusting.

Arthit was nearly at the edging, gasping and panting and Kongpob was holding on sheerly to get Arthit to release at this point. It was a point of pride to get his P’ to cum untouched.

He was rewarded for his efforts with Arthit yelling out, “Ai’ Kongpob!” At the top of his lungs and that was enough for Kongpob. He thrust a couple more times, working through both his and Arthit’s orgasam’s and only stopped with Arthit hissed a bit at being overstimulated. He pulled out of the sticky mess and headed to the bathroom to get a washcloth.

They had been exclusive since Kongpob was a freshman and had both gotten tested before they started a sexual relationship. He cleaned a sleepy Arthit before pulling him into his arms. Arthit, like a cat, curled into him and practically purred out, “I think you were made for me.” before falling asleep.

Kongpob kissed the top of Arthit’s head and whispered, “I love Ai’Oon.”
