Elsa stormed through the woods, trying not to get her dress stuck in any branches. Her feet fell heavy on the ground with each raging step she took. Her face was hot, and her mind was racing. All she needed to do was get out of these woods, and make her way back to her sister. Maybe she would know what to do. She was always the good one with romance. Elsa made her way out of the forest. She rushed to the palace as quick as she could, using her ice powers to give herself a boost.
“Anna!” Elsa called for her sister as she stepped inside the castle.
She carefully stepped through the entry way, into the main room. She shivered from the temperature change, as it was much warmer inside.
“Anna!” She tried again, cupping her hand to her mouth as if it would make a difference in the noise.
The princess could hear something making noise. It was getting closer to her. Elsa heard the noise of her sister breathing heavily after running.
“Anna?” Elsa asked quietly this time even though she was sure it was her sister.
Elsa stood as she watched the woman spring over to her in a rush, before coming to a halt in front of her.
“Hey! What can I do for you?” Anna panted out. She placed her hands on her knees, and slouched over to catch her breath.
Elsa couldn’t help but give a slight chuckle at the way her sister ran into the room.
She thought about what had been dogging her mind. Elsa froze up.
Anna looked up at her confused.
“Is something wrong? What happened?” Anna asked, stepping towards her.
“Um- something happened. I just.. I didn’t know who else to come to.” Was all she could get out.
“Of course Elsa! I’ll always be there for you… can you tell me what happened?” Anna asked.
Elsa sighed. She was confused and embarrassed on why this was even happening. It’s not even like she wanted this to happen.
“Look. I think- no I KNOW this thing happened. I just don’t know how to deal with it. Don’t worry it’s not anything putting us in danger, it’s just..” Elsa trailed off, focusing on a random spot on the rug.
Anna put her hands on Elsa’s shoulders.
“Do you want me to guess what happened? Did you do something to embarrass yourself? Did you eat something bad and now you have diarrhea? Look honestly I could go on.” Anna spoke.
“No it’s not that.” Elsa looked at her sister with a bit of shame in her eye.
She subtly pointed to her stomach.
Anna raised her eyebrows.
“What?” Anna asked concerned for her sister.
“I’m-“ she lowered her voice into a whisper, and looked around to see if anyone was listening. “I’m pregnant.” Elsa replied.
Anna replied with a gasp. She looked down at Elsa’s stomach with surprise.
“No!” Anna shouted in disbelief.
Elsa just nodded her head.
Anna examined her tummy as if it was going to determine anything. Not like it was a full grown baby inside there, just a sack of cells.
“What do I do?!” Elsa whined.
She looked to her sister nervously, biting her lip, but all she saw was Anna doing the same.
“I don’t know…” Anna replied.
They both stood for a moment.
“Who’s the father?” Anna asked cautiously.
Elsa stood looking at her sheepishly…
She was never one for romance, or love, or dating, or well- you get the point. Elsa didn’t ever have the desire to have a man by her side. She didn’t want a partner to be with. She was content on her own, living a free happy life. Elsa was like this until one day a stranger wondered upon the woods. He was just like Elsa. They both had ice powers, and white hair. And another thing they had in common, they had a burning desire to be with each other. Ever since he had showed up, she stuck by him. She did almost everything with him. The excuse was that she needed to keep an eye on him. Because he was new. Because she had to protect the people. That’s not really why…
“Jack.” Elsa put simply.
“Who?” Anna asked.
“Jack. He showed up one day and we spent a lot of time together. He left awhile ago. Well at least I think it’s him. I mean, couldn’t be anyone else.” Elsa explained sheepishly.
Anna gave her a knowing look.
“Oh, okay.” Anna smirked.
Elsa crossed her arms in frustration. She didn’t like that her little sister was standing here in front of her all smug like she was better.
“Haha very funny! But seriously Anna! I came here for guidance, not your opinion.” Elsa fake laughed.
“I know I know, I’m sorry. Let’s go talk about this somewhere a bit more private.” Anna assured her.
One Month Ago…
It was nice day outside. The trees were still, and the sun was shining bright in the blue sky. Elsa didn’t have much to do that day, she just roamed the woods. She hopped from rock to rock with her bare feet enjoying the nature, and the warmth in the air. She turned the small pond in front of her to ice so she could glide across. When she got to the other side she fell into a pile of leaves.
“Ugh!” She puffed out, picking a leaf from her hair.
Elsa pulled herself off of the ground and onto her feet. She wiped the leaves from her body.
“Aaa!” She flicked away a bug crawling on her.
Elsa stopped for a moment to let herself breathe. She breathed in and ou- *crack*
She spun around to see what the noise was. The woods had many creatures living in it that would make noise, but it was very sudden and loud, it sound like whatever the creature was, it was big. She look around to see that nothing was there. She thought nothing of it. It wasn’t weird to have the forest make random noises, and not explain itself, that’s what was part of the magic. She grounded herself again by focusing on closing her eyes and breathing. This was something new she was trying, meditation. She let her mind go. Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in- *snap* Another noise. She turned around again to see something slip behind a tree like it knew she was there. She looked towards the tree.
“You don’t have to hide.” Elsa said.
The thing barely moved from behind the tree, but she could still feel its presence there. It was a fairly large creature, not your average bunny.
“Cmon just show yourself.” Elsa spoke, walking closer.
She nearly gasped as she saw a human come out from the safety of the tree. She looked at the man confidently. “Hi. Are you lost?” She asked.
The man cleared his throat.
“No.” He almost chuckled.
She noticed he had some kind of staff with him. It didn’t necessarily look like a weapon but it could be used as one. She had never seen him before, but apparently he knew his way around here, or maybe he was just lying to her.
“Hmm well I haven’t seen you around.” She replied.
She didn’t know what it was about him, but she wanted to learn more. She could see that he was particularly nice looking, and there was a certain charm to him.
“Yeah well I haven’t really been around.” He admitted.
He stepped closer to Elsa. They weren’t standing that close together, but she wanted them to be closer.
“Are you from here?” Elsa was curious.
The man laughed.
“No. Are you- sorry that was a dumb question.” He responded.
Elsa felt her face warm up. Why was it doing that? She thought
“Hmm yeah I am. My names Elsa, I’m kind of like the leader around here. Besides my sister Anna.” She said.
She could see him get a bit nervous. It wasn’t every day she met a new person who didn’t know her. People she didn’t even know would come up to her, talking like they had known her for years. It was a strange feeling to have a fresh start. Or maybe a fresh start, she didn’t know if this guy was lying.
“That’s great! Oh um, my names Jack.. Jack Frost.” Jack greeted himself.
“Hi Jack.” Elsa smiled, walking a little closer to him.
