   Kris you beautiful beautiful maniac this is beyond anything I could ever have dreamed of. I am beSIDE myself at how you have cast the characters - Hickey's Mack the Knife vibe! Blanky all don't @ me I'm chilling! Jopson with his feather duster because of fucking course.

   And I genuinely, genuinely do not think I will do justice to the glory of Francis, rumpled and dogged and weary, and James Grace Kelly-ing as he was BORN to do, Goddammit.

   NOW TO WATCH THIS MOVIE AND THINK ONLY OF YOUR COMIC. Holy fuck this rules!!!!! I love the distinct scenes through the narrative; you've given just enough detail to clue in the reader but left room for the mind to fill in the details, be they terrifying or heartwarming. And this is all to say nothing of the beautiful details of each character's design, and the framing of the panels — there's a really natural flow to your composition; it's creative and intriguing but never cluttered. I'll most likely yell more under here once I've seen Rear Window cause holy shit!!!!!

   Oh wow this is just incredible! Look how perfectly cast! Lady Jane is an inspired choice for Thelma Ritter, incredible.

   Also James in Grace’s iconic poses and dress? And then that perfect translation of her green suit into a casual 1954 men’s sweater and trousers set???? Immaculate, brilliant! (And I just now noticed the scar in his arm!!)

   Oh, how to list all the things I love about this. The little window (ha!) you gave onto what everyone else is doing in this AU is so charming—I love how Silna has a pug, and I love how Ned is still just sad. And then that first image with Francis and James is just entirely stunning? I especially adore how you've drawn Francis—his fluffy hair!

   And, most importantly—James in that dress! Oh my God!!! I would buy a poster of that and hang it up on my wall. He just looks so stunning.

   Rear Window! I love it! I love all the references you put into this: the ballet dancer, the dog in the basket, for just a few examples.

   Hey - I also must say, I LOVE your art style, and espeically your Fitzjames art style! (Although, he makes it so easy, ha ha, right?)

   I got such a kick out of Jopson, too.

   Heck, I LOVE ALL OF IT.

   ETA: I would *love* to see you do other AU cinema crossovers!
