Chapter Text
"(L/n)-san."
At the sound of your name, you snapped out of your thoughts, “Yes, Sensei?”
Your teacher sighed, “I asked you to come up to the board and solve this equation. Pay attention.”
You hummed in reply before standing up to the board and solving the equation with ease, leaving your teacher with a frown. “Correct.”
You smiled to yourself before settling into your thoughts again.
'U.A. The school for heroes... Endeavor will probably make Shoto-kun go there,' You shook your head at the thought of the bastard. your mom and Endeavor had gone to school together, and you only knew him personally thanks to his selfishness. he’d known of your powerful quirk and wanted to arrange a quirk marriage between you and Shoto when you were only three years old- talk about meeting under bad standards.
Although, despite the awkward meeting, you became good friends with Shoto until an incident happened when you were both about seven years old and you didn’t meet nor talk since. You never knew what happened either, you just knew Endeavor didn’t want you talking to Shoto anymore.
“(L/n)-chan!”
You sighed and turned again, “Hm?”
You lightened your tone when you saw your friend hovering over your desk with a grin, “Class ended three minutes ago, what are you doing?”
You frowned, the rest of the students were gone, along with the teacher, apart from you and Suzuki, nobody was there.
“Oh, I didn’t realize.”
Suzuki giggled, “Are you thinking about U.A again?”
You smiled, “Partly. why don’t you try for U.A, Suzuki-chan? Your quirk is pretty strong, you could probably get in if you tried!”
Suzuki shook her head, “The hero job isn’t for me, I’d rather do something with less action.”
You nodded, “If you say so. Anyway, wanna come to my house?”
Suzuki nodded, “Yes! Your house is so amazing! Especially the garden your mom made! Your mom is such a cool Pro!”
You chuckled and gathered your things, “I guess so, but I like the koi pond much better though.”
Suzuki followed you out of the classroom, “mhm! The koi are so cute!”
You took the bus to your house- well house was a bit of an understatement, with your mom being one of the top ten Pro Heroes you had an exceptionally sized home, with a two or three attendants too. Of course, your mom wasnt paid nearly as much as, say, Endeavor or All Might, but she definitely had enough to support the two of you as the number seven Pro Hero. she even attended the same high school class as Present Mic, Midnight, and Eraserhead, who were practically direct family members.
“Mom? I’m home, and I brought Suzuki-chan!!”
“Your mom is out on a mission.” One of the attendants opened the door for the duo with a kind smile.
“Oh, again? She just came back last night,” You frowned.
The attendant gave you an apologetic smile, “She got an emergency call from somewhere in morioka.”
“Oh... okay. thank you.” You turned to Suzuki, “Do you want to go upstairs?”
Suzuki nodded before slipping off her shoes. You slipped your own shoes off, placing them on the shoe-rack by the door before leading the way to your room. Your room was bigger than most, with a big bed on the back wall and a desk in the corner next to the big window. and your favorite feature, a big mural of the ocean on one wall. You loved to open the window on a windy day and sit at the beanbag by the mural, you could almost hear the waves crashing, the sand beneath you, and the breeze flow through your (h/c) hair.
Suzuki crashed one of the beanbags, “Can we play something?”
“Sure,” You looked through her video game collection. “What d’ya want to play?”
“What have we not played together yet?”
“Hm, I have these...”
After a few hours of playing Suzuki left and you changed your clothes and went downstairs, when you saw one of the attendants slipping on a jacket you frowned, “Matsura-san, where are you going?”
“We need some groceries, I was just on my way out to get them.”
“Oh, I can get them! I wanted to go out anyway.” You assured her.
“Thank you, miss!. Here is the list.” Matsura gave you a list of groceries and bowed before returning to the kitchen.
You slipped on your shoes and skipped to the market which was a good ten minutes away. You took a look at the list, deciding to find the closest items first and work your way down the market. the closest item happened to be carrots, so off you went, making your way through the crowded market towards the carrot stands. You found the carrots and picked a few and paid before weaving your way through the crowd again towards the next item.
