   Summary

   In the world we know, Lapin dies staring into the eyes of the Pontifex, the voice of his patron whispering for him to come home. The Sugar Plum Fairy ushers him into her Realm of paradise, and he remains there until it crumbles.

   In another, kinder world, he still dies with his patron whispering in his ear. They just refuse to let him stay that way.
