   Summary

   Everyone has regrets. How do we choose to live with them? How do they shape us? When we are offered second chances; do we take them and make the most of them? When we are offered advice do we heed it, ignore it, try to pick out the good parts and leave the bad? What do we do when we need to correct our mistakes? How do we live with regret?

   This is a story about regret, how to avoid it, live with it, correct it, etc. Kirk, Spock, Uhura, McCoy, and the rest of the crew all must learn to live in a world that didn't go exactly as it should have. Kirk realizes he has been given new opportunities. Will his new attitudes work for him, or against him. Those around him, how will it affect them?
