Summary
White Diamond attempts to control Steven's mind but instead diminishes his powers. Steven is rescued by his friends; Peridot, Lapis, Bismuth and Connie and returns to Earth, where he struggles to regain his full power. Unable to let things be as they are, Steven swears to save his family from White Diamond. Two years later, Steven is living with his father and Bismuth, and they are tracking down rogue gems. During a mission, they encounter a teenager named Matheo, who joins the Crystal Gems after Steven learns about his difficult past and offers him a place to stay.
