In St. Louis, during the Prohibition of 1927, the bootleggers Rocky Rickaby, Ivy Pepper, and Calvin "Freckle" McMurray have dug up a coffin loaded with whisky from one of their suppliers. By the time they load the bottles, they're ambushed by the rival Marigold gang, consisting of Nicodeme and Serafine Savoy, and Mordecai Heller. In the ensuing chase, Freckle damages the Marigold's car, but Mordecai forces them off the road and into the Sable mining quarry.

The trio take shelter and Ivy repairs the car while, Freckle is holding off Mordecai. Rocky manages to rig a crane into driving itself while hurling dynamite in order to drive the Marigold gang away, accidentally causing a flood by destroying a water tower, however they eventually manage to escape. Leaving the Marigold gang empty handed and stuck without transport.

At the Lackadaisy speakeasy, the owner Mitzi May speaks to the portrait of her deceased husband Atlas and recalls how big their business used to be. She meets with her guest, Sedgewick Sable (the owner of the quarry that was damaged), whom she asks for financial help, though he refuses in order to maintain his public image. The trio return with only three bottles intact from the fight. Mitzi expresses displeasure with the short amount recovered, much to Rocky's sorrow, but states that she's happy they at least came back safely. Rocky and fellow musician Zib play music, during which Mitzi reminisces about how thriving the club was in Atlas' time.

"So this is what has become of the club," a female voice said walking into the room from the doorway where Rocky and the others had entered.

The few people in the room turn to see a tall woman with long red hair and orange fur walking up to the bar. The woman looks like a model in both her body and her beauty. She wore a loose pair blue pants with a checkered light blue pattern that let her long bushy tail to trail behind her, a tuck in purple shirt with green stripes, a red tie with white polka dots, a pair of black suspenders, and a pair of brown leather shoes. The entire outfit wouldn’t had worked but with her shapely and busty body, she filled it out in all the right ways.

She sat down at the bar with the others all staring at her. The men were all stun at her looks and figure, their reactions ranged from major blushing and attempting to look away, wide eyes and stuttering blushes, and shameless drooling and panting, tongues out, namely Rocky who is drooling all over the woman. The women took one look at her, before they compared themselves to her very developed figure before grumbling bitterly and jealousy.

"I'm here, for a drink," the woman said as she place a hundred dollar bill on the counter.

“Sure,” Viktor said as he mentally focused on his estranged wife and daughter. He gives the woman a cup from the open bottle.

The woman drunk down the cup without flinching unlike the others who drunk it before. Her face did change as she narrows her eyes as she looks down at her cup.

“Would be better use as rubbing alcohol, engine degreaser, or lighting fluid, or as fuel,” the woman said as she takes out a blue handkerchief. “You really should be serving something that is drinkable.”

She waves the handkerchief around and sets it on the counter and slowly lifts it up revealing a tequila bottle underneath it. Everyone else in the bar stared at her and the bottle.

“Wow you can do magic tricks,” Ivy said in amazement.

“I traveled around the world and picked up some tricks,” the woman said as she places the handkerchief on her hand and lifts it up to reveal a foreign bottle that has a dead cobra inside of it.

“There’s a snake in it!” Ivy said her tail standing up straight.

“Picked it up from Asia, extremely strong rice wine with a dead cobra in the bottle to add some flavor to it,” the woman said as she holds the handkerchief up where the bottom is touching the countertop and drops it revealing another bottle.

Ivy gave out a hiss, the bottle has dead baby mice stuff inside of it, the others also look at the bottle in disgust. (1)

“Baby mice wine from Korea,” the woman said as she opens the bottle and pours herself a drink from it and drinks it.

“Why are you here?” Mitzi asked.

“I brought with me some drinks like this from places that let people drink. Your enterprise since your husband’s death has lost customers and employees. Barely able to keep what you have left, with only the loyal members staying. My group needs a place to stay and do business,” the woman said as she turns to the main door. “Girls, that’s your cue!”

The door open with Horatio flustered letting in a group of women.

“Meet my gang, Cleo,” the woman said pointing to a woman with long blonde hair that hangs in front of her chest and has white fur.

“Calico "Callie" Briggs,” the woman said pointing to another blonde but has tan fur.

“Tigress,” the woman pointed to a Asian woman.

“Catra,” the woman pointed to a younger woman who has heterochromia, one blue and one yellow eye.

“The twins Kitty and Katty Katswell,” the woman pointed to two twins with black hair and tan fur with the only way to tell them apart is that Katty has a white streak on her hair.

“The sisters Blackfire and Starfire,” the woman said pointing to the last two women one has long black hair that reaches down to her ankles and the other has red hair that also reaches her ankles, both have orange fur. (2)

The sisters are carrying a large trunk between them which they place on a table and open it. The truck is like a treasure chest out of a story, filled with valuables. The truck has jewelries, brooches, earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces, pocket watches, plated buckles, even gold and silver teeth.

“In our travels we picked up some valuables that we can fence. Your gang is down on its luck but you still have your old contacts that can be very helpful to fence what we picked up. There is also several cases of brandy, gin, rum, bourbon, and wine," the woman said tossing the handkerchief behind her, that suddenly exploded in a flash of light and when the light faded there is several cases of said alcohol stacked on top of each other. "I want to work together, while my gang is in this city. We supply your bar with booze and help us fence off our other goods,” the woman said.

“I…,” Mitzi said taken aback from all the wealth in the trunk and the truck of booze.

“I know it's alot to take in. Me and my gang will come back after you have some time to think. You can keep the treasure chest and the booze as a freebie," the woman said getting up and leaving with her gang.

"Wait who are you?" Mitzi asked.

"Name's Sunset Shimmer," the woman said leaving with her gang out the door.

“Sunset Shimmer a lady of mystery who just appeared on the social circles out of nowhere, has lots of money and resources. Little known of her past but she is well educated and knows how to be formal and the conventions of the upper classes. From the tidbits of her past, seems she’s from a blue blood aristocrat family, possibly has ties with one of the royal families of Europe. She might be from one of the impoverished patricians of land rich, bankrupt aristocracy without a penny to their name, a fallen princess. Seems to have been kicked out of the family by her mother, and she’s been traveling around the world picking up things here and there. She is a skilled magician, putting on shows that wow crowds on her travels. I heard of her before and I must say her just making these crates appear out of nowhere, the stories about her skills doesn’t do her justices,” Sedgewick "Wick" Sable informs the workers of Lackadaisy, as he tries the open baby mice wine.

“You seem to know a lot about her,” Mitzi May said.

Her employees are going over both the treasure chest and the crates. Ivy is looking over the jewels with Dorian laying out all the valuables on a table, putting them in piles. Viktor is looking over the crates of foreign alcohol with Rocky and Freckle, according to Victor the labels on the bottles are from European countries. Once the valuables are fenced, along with resupplying the bar’s depleted stocks, will keep the business going for a couple weeks.

“Douglas construction company was hired to fix up the old Raccoon art museum by the waterfront. He told me about how the new owner Sunset Shimmer, is having his workers rebuild it into a home and adding some odd designs to it. In the lobby the marble statue of a goddess that was left behind, has been sold off and replaced with that of a horse statue of all things. That woman in the pink dress suit Briggs, handled all the paperwork and getting all the right permits with the city. She even had his workers install a waterwheel at the small dock at the back to help provide power to the building, among other things. Also how one of the women with Briggs is quite the looker. Leone a blonde who I have seen and well, she’s even bigger than Sunset, and I don’t mean just in her figure but she’s a big woman. She and another woman… Aisha Clanclan, I think, actually lifted a car and flip it over. The owner of said car was giving the third woman Sienna Khan a hard time, so her friends taught him a lesson. Sunset has deep pockets and I have been hearing about her in my social circles since she made it known she’s moving here. And this baby mice wine isn’t half bad,” Sable said taking another drink.

“I saw that!” Rocky spoke up. “I was walking by when I saw two big women lifted a car between them and flipped it over. And wow those women are big, even bigger than Viktor here. And boy are they well built, those two are muscular versions of their boss Sunset, but even bigger and taller than her. And wow, I never seen a woman like Sunset before.”

“Like you have a chance with her,” Ivy huffed not needing to be reminded of how stack Sunset is, or how stunning the rest of her girls are.

“Trust me, she’s out of your class not to mention there are way better men who be after her. Both better looking and have the wealth to match hers,” Dorian said.

“There has to be over a thousand or more worth of stuff in here,” Ivy said looking over a pearl necklace then grim at the gold tooth. “I don’t want to know where all these gold and silver teeth came from.”

“Either grave robbing or the hard way,” Dorian said. “The jewels can be sold to jewelers and the rest can be smelted down.”

“These liquors aren’t cheap,” Viktor said looking over the wine. Finding one of the crates having the wine wrapped in very soft cloth and the create full of wool to keep the bottles safe.

“Eeewww there’s more bottles with dead animals in them,” Freckle said looking into a crate with more baby mouse wine in them.

“Better save those for the more adventurous drinkers,” Mitzi said and turns to Viktor who has unwrapped one of the very protected wine bottles. “What kind of wine is it?”

“Domaine Leroy Musigny Grand Cru,” Viktor said reading the label causing Sable to choke on his drink.

“What’s the matter?” Mitzi asked.

“That’s the most expensive wine in the world that’s available on the open market,” Sable said shocking everyone in the bar. “I only gotten to taste it once and that was at a wedding. Just one bottle cost around 40,000.” (1)

Everyone was stun hearing the price and Viktor suddenly became very aware of the fortune he’s holding in his hands.

“How many bottles,” Freckle ask.

“There’s 8 bottles in here,” Viktor said.

“So that’s 320,000 worth of wine?” Ivy said adding up the numbers.

“Viktor, carefully put the bottle back… after you wrap it up. And put it into the vault for safekeeping,” Mitzi said feeling faint hearing the fortune that was just handed to her. “They be for the big rollers.”

“Yes,” Viktor said being very careful with the bottle as he puts it back as it was.

“So what you think she wants for all of this?” Mitzi ask Sable.

“Something big, you don’t just give over a quarter of of a million away and don’t want anything in return,” Sable stated making everyone nervous about what Sunset wants in return.

Shimmer Manor -

The old art museum that belonged to the Raccoon family before they lost their fortune and had to sell off the art to pay off their debts. Now converted into a manor for its new owner Sunset Shimmer, who has made many changes to the old museum and even added electric lights and plumbing to the old building. Adding an underground garage in what use to be the basement, with a ramp leading up the street, with a drainage system for when it rains that lets out into the river that’s in the back of the building. And a waterwheel that provides independent power to the building in the back at the newly built dock. That has all the building permits to allow the construction. (2)

Walking into her new home after so many years of wandering the Earth, Sunset eyes laid on the horse statue in the lobby that she had her girls personal transport to the city to make sure nothing happens to it. She walks up to the statue and puts her hand on the pedestal that makes up the base of the statue. Solid but in a few more months, it won’t be.

“Is everyone here?” Sunset ask as all of her girls have gathered together.

“Yes the whole pride is here,” Merle said who is standing with the twins Naria & Eriya.

Sunset looks around the lobby seeing her pride have all gathered together.

“Good, we’re all here,” Sunset said counting the number of her pride.

With Cleo, Calico "Callie" Briggs, Tigress, Catra, Blackfire, Starfire, Leone, Aisha Clanclan, Sienna Khan, Kitty and Katty Katswell. There are 24 members of her pride who she has gathered to her side during her travels and formed a bond with. Like how things work back where she came from but a herd and that the culture here has changed from when prides were even a thing. Not to mention the gender ratio is more 50/50 than it was back home.

“We got several months to get ready,” Sunset said.

“But really here of all places?” Pumyra asks.

“The other places where there is a weak point is either in the middle of nowhere, in places that would be very difficult for us for a number of reasons from how they would treat us to having people coming after us, because of how they view magic being work of the devil. Plus thanks to the government banning alcohol there is a thriving smuggling rings that can be used to transport shipments with them not asking questions. And using the local gangs will keep the heat off of us, the police are more interested in the rum runners then wondering why strange shipments of occult artifacts are being transported to the home of a known stage magician,” Sunset said.

“Yes the cover of a very rich woman who is tried of the extravagance lifestyle, playing around the occult out of boredom,” Blair spoke up.

“As if none of you didn’t believe me that I could really do magic, at first,” Sunset said.

“We didn’t,” Cheshire said standing with her daughter.

“And you taught us to use magic as well,” Kitty said as she turns invisible.

“Which reminds me, make sure you don’t go around showing off too much. No need to draw too much attention. I been planning this for years and I don’t want it to be all for nothing because of one of you playing around too much,” Sunset said causing everyone to stare at the mother and daughter.

“How was I suppose to know that the people of that place would react like that,” Kitty said reappearing.

“You’re just lucky that the British soldiers stop the mob in India,” Tigra said.

“Which during the crack down that village’s grain stores caught on fire and burn down most of the village,” Kitty Katswell said eyeing Cheshire.

“What? They tried to kill my Kitty just because she showed off her magic skills for those kids,” Cheshire said.

“Just don’t make a scene this time,” Sunset said.

Bright sunlight poured into the bedroom through window, casting a bright glow over crimson curtains and ruby colored sheets. A crisp, gentle morning breeze blew in from the spacious balcony, stirring the aromatic presence of roses and lavender, and bringing with it the fresh smell of oak and pine but along with the vigorous scent of nature there was also the arousing stench of pleasure, sex, and wanton bacchanalia. Slowly life stirred within the comfortable, fragrant sanctuary, as the firm and nubile bodies of several healthy young women roused from sleep, all of them either naked or clad in the skimpiest of lingerie. Their fur still coated in sweat and sex juices, and the flawlessness of their bodies was marked only by the aftermath of lust, their smooth breasts and long legs still sticky.

Callie existed the bathroom and look over herself in the full length mirror in the room. Six foot even, shoulder length golden–blond hair, large green eyes, shapely wide hips in her tailored (and expensive) business skirt. Her face, graced with sensuous lips, was oval and friendly. Her mammoth mammaries that strained the suspension bridge of a bra she wore. Uneasily cloaking a F cup bra, the blouse, plain white under a pink jacket that matched her skirt, was stretched to near rending by those massive jugs. Giving her an hourglass figure that few outside of her pride could match.

Like everyone else in the pride, Sunset has improved their bodies with magic to make them more shapely and buxom. Callie looks over the others, the smallest bust size belongs to Wilykit and Catra who like their small and slender bodies both having C cups. Allowing them to squeeze themselves in tight spaces that she and the others would just end up stuck if they tried.

Both Leone and Aisha have the largest bust sizes, at J cups even bigger their Sunset’s own H cups. But then again they both stand over 7 feet and both built like brick houses. Their magic enchantments gave them large and powerful bodies, like Tigress, Blackfire, and Starfire but with more bulk and size.

“So what’s on today’s agenda?” Sunset asked walking out of the bathroom that she shared with Callie, also dressed.

“Go to city hall and sign the papers to finalize ownership of the new businesses that you brought,” Callie said.

“Got a good deal for them?” Sunset ask.

“With this, I did,” Callie said showing off the ring that allows her to mentally manipulate the thoughts and actions of others who have weak minds. (1)

“Plus with your body, causes most people to lower their guard and are very distracted,” Sunset said.

“You are the one who shaped our bodies,” Callie said.

“As if none of you minded,” Sunset said, looking at the still sleeping forms of the rest of the pride. Most having very curvaceous, very buxom, and very aware of it bodies. Which she has personal gotten to know every inch of their bodies.

"We could use a king for this pride," Callie said.

"As if you know any king who could handle all of us, I can handle all of you at once. Any would be king who thinks he can handle this pride, will be eaten alive," Sunset said as she and Callie left the others to sleep.

Both of them walk down to the basement garage, and got into the Coupe. Using her telekinesis Sunset made the large thick wooden doors open after lifting the heavy metal bar that held the doors closed. Once the car drove out of the garage and made it's way up the ramp, the doors closed behind them and the metal bar slide into place securing the doors. With Callie driving, Sunset sat in the back of the car reading off over the list of new properties she now owns in the city and what they're being used for that Callie had written down on the ledger that Sunset is reading.

Struggling businesses that the owners suddenly had been brought out by the offer Callie gave them. In exchange to supply the manor with what they need. Both for the everyday needs, food, drinks, clothes, and other supplies, and to bring in the exotic shipments from the smugglers and exporters.

Arezz's Jewelries, good place to sell off the jewels and gems.

Donny's pharmacy, where they be able to get supplies for potions.

Charlie's Pizzeria, a legitimate business.

Ross Accountant Firm, where they can covertly launder dirty money into clean money.

Boolie's Bakery, a legitimate business.

Bella Siciliana, a restaurant a legitimate business. Good place to collect ingredients.

Max Butcher, a legitimate business. Good place to collect bones.

Goble's Imports and Exports, a warehouse on the riverfront. The merchandise that aren't as exotic can come from here.

Vick's Gas Stop, a gas station where we be getting fuel and repairs for the cars.

Xander Smelter, good place to get custom metal parts.

Coin Wash, a laundromat a legitimate business.

"A laundromat?" Sunset ask.

"Yes like the one we saw in Texas. And it's already a big hit, good source of income. I ran the numbers and while our world tour did get us lots of dirty money, we still need to laundry it and so it has a legitimate paper trail and the feds won't be looking too closely at where all the money came from," Callie said. "Being taken care of by the girls still in Europe, they're using the confusion and the cash starved nations to laundry the treasures we gathered. A few well place bribes, some blackmail pictures and some magic is handling the wealth we have gathered. Which will be transferring to the Swiss Confederation banks as well as the Bank of England that can be transferred to any bank here," Sunset explains.

"You really know how to laundry your money," Callie said.

"I grew up attending fancy parties and overhearing how the nobles and the rich, hide their wealth from the tax collectors," Sunset states.

"And your mother?" Callie asked.

"She's too busy standing in front of the entrance greeting the guest, by the time she's done the party is mostly over," Sunset said. "Which reminds me how are the weapon shipments?"

"They're on their way," Callie said. "Thanks to prohibition there are plenty of smugglers to pick from. And they know better than to ask questions, but I am using messages to relay the orders." (3)

"Lots of unsold and surplus guns here," Sunset said.

"I know but they're cheap and already have a local gunsmith to change the Pieper Revolving Carbine to handle .50 rounds," Callie said.

"And the armor?" Sunset ask.

"Much better than what the outlaw Ned Kelly and his gang of Australia made, the armor will be covering the arms and legs. Still heavy but we can handle it. Of course they do have to be fitted for us to wear," Callie said.

"That just leaves the troops," Sunset said.

"The ceramic factory is already up and running. The statues of young women are attracting lots of attention," Callie said.

"As long as they're ready," Sunset said.

"What are we going to be doing in the meantime?" Callie asked.

"Keep low, rest up, get everything ready for the big event," Sunset said.

"And the speakeasy?" Callie ask.

"Use them as the middle men for the illegal shipments and keep them supply with liquor," Sunset said.

"Russian royal family are alive and well, living in Australia, proving the rumors of their survival are true. The shocking news has rattled the Russian communist government who had stated that the royal family had been executed years before. They had been helped by the mysterious mistress of magic Sunset Shimmer during her tour around Europe. Helping them escape from the soldiers sent to execute them and setting them up in a manor in the city of Queensland. Uniting the different factions that are still fighting against the communist government to restore the Russian empire and the royal family," Asa Sweet the leader of the Marigold Gang said reading the headline.

He then toss the paper to Mordecai Heller who is sitting in front of his desk. Ever since Sunset and her female gang made themselves home in the city, the fortunes of Lackadaisy has changed. They now have lots of liquor being smuggled in somehow and some of her girls are even moonlighting as showgirls in the club too. Sunset herself still does magic shows at different clubs around the city, getting lots of crowds to show up. Making her too big of a target to take care of the usual way, too many eyes are on her. Would get way too much attention and with her connections would get the feds to swarm the city.

"Would explain how she's been able to laundry her money around without anyone trouble. From what I managed to gather she still has some of her girls in Europe taking care of things there. She has made friends in many high places thanks to her frame. Which of the noble houses she belongs to, she hasn't revealed anything that could pin point it down," Mordecai said reading through the paper.

"I need something on her, she's taking away too much business. What about the rumor of her and her girls being a pride?" Asa ask.

"Those rumors are true. They have formed a pride, all they're missing is a king," Mordecai said.

"I thought that sort of thing is outlawed," Asa said.

"No just frowned on, there are some states that do have laws against forming a pride but this state isn't one of them. Some countries still have prides as a thing if all the rules are followed. And by the old rules of a pride, them the females are the ones who have formed it first, with it all center around Sunset their queen," Mordecai said.

"Really now, perhaps there's another way to stop them from supplying the competition," Asa said as he wouldn't mind being the king of that pride of lovely ladies.

"You would have to get all of the pride members to fall for you then. Or get Sunset to submit to you, going by the old rules," Mordecai pointed out.

"Right and the pride isn't all here either," Asa said as he thought about it. "If I remember right to become king of a pride, the guy would have to be able to handle all of the females and be accepted by all of them."

"Or be able to beat them all into submission, which is very frowned upon these days and that the other members of the pride will more than likely gang up on the male. Of course by the old rules there can be more than one king and that it's perfectly normal for sons and daughters to have relationships or with their parents. Remember the story of the Lion King? There were only two adult males in that pride and the young prince made his childhood friend his first mate," Mordecai said

"That killed the mood," Asa said shaking his head at that thought. (1)

"Which is why prides are frowned upon. I'm disgusted with incest solely for the reason of what happens to the children born from such unions," Mordecai said.

"Anyways," Asa said changing the subject. "Can't we use the pride angle against her?"

"They're making it no real secret that they are a pride, that's how I found out. My informant just walk up to one of the women and asks her. And seeing how most of her pride are from outside the country where prides are still common, using that angle will not work," Mordecai said.

"Is there anyway to get someone on the inside?" Asa ask.

"Might but any woman we sent would have to work really hard to get into the pride, all of her operations is handled by her pride members. They have hired some locals to handle some things but it's mostly to handle the legitimate businesses. Sunset isn't dealing with any of the bootleggers, or any of the other gangs, all of the liquor she's been struggling are all imported from other countries. None of the homemade or water down stuff the moonshiners have been making. The custom agent we're paying off has found nothing in any of the shipments heading to the manor, all the shipments are of the occult in nature in his own words. The only alcohol found is being used in the preserving jars," Mordecai said.

"She must have another way of sneaking the liquor through customs. Isn't there anything else that she's has shipping in?" Asa ask.

"Scale modeled doll houses," Mordecai said.

"What?" Asa ask. "She still into dolls?"

"She has scale modeled doll houses ship to her manor, which are modeled after things like castles, forts, armories, warships," Mordecai said earning him a look from Asa. "She has a scale model of a castle and been ordering scale modeled weapons, vehicles, soldiers, even having items like supplies and even small bottles of liquor bottles made to have more detail. Like those ships in the bottle, some people are into making."

In the city or St. Louis, in one of the upscale hotels where the members of the Maitre Carrefour Cult would gather. The god of the cult is the loa, Maitre Carrefour master and guardian of the crossroads, which the members honor through criminal activity. The cult is headed by Serafine and her brother Nicodeme "Nico" Savoy from the bayou, she’s the brains and he’s the brawn. (1)

“Nice operation you have here,” Sunset said as she looks over the voodoo object the two have collected, fetish, idols, blood, candles and more of the stuff she has seen shops sell.

Standing in the room unable to move are the siblings, both of them had thought that Ms. Shimmer hears about their cult and wanted to join. They have heard how she’s into all kinds of the occult and collects magic object. What they didn’t expect was that she’s the real deal, she did something to them and they suddenly are unable to move.

“I learn all kinds of magic on my world tour, picked up from here and there. I've got voodoo, I've got hoodoo, I've got things I ain't even tried. I’m not stuck on any one tradition, I work with anything and anyone that can get me what I want,” Sunset said.

The lights in the room were turn off and turn on again with both brother and sister are now sitting on chairs and Sunset stood in front of them. Both suddenly found themselves able to move again, having been released from whatever was holding them. Both of them wondering if she really does have magic.

“Now the reason why I came, I’m looking to add more to my collection. Seeing how you two would have some connections to the occult and I need people to spread the word around that I’m looking for the strange and the occult,” Sunset said.

Both of them look at each other and nod their heads, Nico leans forward and says, "Yeah we do, we know a few. We'll tell them."

Sunset nods her head and walks out of the hotel room.

“What was that?” Serafine asked letting out a breath she’s been holding.

Nico shrugs his shoulders, "She's here to collect some weird shit, and she’ll pay a pretty bundle for it."

Serafine shakes her head and smiles, "Heard she has some deep pockets.”

"Yeah, she's good for it," Nico said.

Outside -

Walking out of hotel, Sunset waited for her ride to pick her up, a cab came having spotted her and offered her a ride. She shakes her head as the car with Katt dress as chauffeur and Sienna Khan in the back both of whom been waiting for their boss in a parking space, drove up to pick her up. Sienna open the door for Sunset and she got in and the car drove away.

"Katt head to city hall, I have business to deal with there,“ Sunset said.

“Right boss,” Katt said.

“I thought all the issues were taken care of,“ Sienna said.

“The mayor is throwing a party and inviting all the big wigs and players in the city. He wants me to do my magic act at the event and wants to make all the arrangements for what I need to put on a show,” Sunset said.

"You are well known for your magic acts,” Sienna said.

“Everyone is going to be performing on stage with me. With this show, people will just wave off any sights of magic with any of us as just being the stage magic we know and like to show off,” Sunset said.

“Too bad the Dazzlings aren’t here, they be great for the show,” Katt said.

“They’re taking care of business in Europe with the others. They do have to handle lots of things over there,” Sunset said.

“They do pretend to be their own granddaughters so that people don’t realize that they’re not aging,” Sienna said.

"I wouldn't be surprise that they're not the only ones who are long live," Sunset said.

"Wait, I thought that they're immortal?" Katt said.

"They're sirens a subspecies of dragon, very long lived but aren't wholly immune to time. They're like my mom as in being immortal but it doesn't stop them from being killed. Being immortal doesn't mean unkillable, being immortal just means you won't die from old age. Not to mention if being immortal did mean unkillable, all you have to do is cut off their head and they just be an immortal head," Sunset said. (2)

On the street -

The car pass by a police car with a tall black cat by the name of John Blacksad, a hardboiled and successful private detective. He was working in New York but was called to comeback to St. Louis his old hometown before he left for New York. He spotted the mysterious Sunset Shimmer who has made a name for herself in high society and as a entertainer with her magic acts that amazed all who seen them. Rumor has it that she's from a blue blood aristocrat family, with ties to one of the royal families. And the reason why he's here in the city. (3)

"I think that was Shimmer," Blacksad said to the man sitting next to him in the back of the car while another cop is driving.

"Must be heading to see the mayor," Ulysses Feral the police commissioner of the city.

"You really think that Shimmer has a smuggling ring?" Blacksad ask.

"I'm sure of it, but my hands are tied. She has too many friends in high places both here and in other countries. Ever heard of the wine, Domaine Leroy Musigny Grand Cru?" Feral ask.

"Fancy wine?" Blacksad guessed.

"Yes and cost $40,000 for one bottle. There's rumor that one of the speakeasies has some bottles of that wine. Shimmer has moved into the city around the same time and was in Europe where the wine is made, which is France," Feral said.

"What?" Blacksad ask hearing at the price of the wine, which is more than what he makes in a year. "A bottle of wine cost as much as a house or a car?"

"Which is why I called you to look into her and her pride. You did a good job with the Thomas Case before you left for New York. My hands are tied and can't do anything without proof of criminal actively. The only alcohol that was found in what she's ship in, are what's being used in the specimen jars," Feral said.

"If it was only that, you would have been calling in the feds," Blacksad said eyeing Feral.

"Drop it," Feral responded.

"Some parties of interest want to learn more about Ms. Shimmer. Very little is known about her but with her helping the Russian royal family escape to Australia, many parties of interest want to learn more about her. I'm not the only one spying on her to learn more about her," Blacksad said.

"My hands are tied," Feral stated.

"She is also the head of a pride of lovely ladies," Blacksad said. "I wonder how many are interested in being king of that pride."

"Hummf," Feral grunted. "Being the king of that pride is all but impossible. Going by the old laws the would be king will have to either get all the females of a pride to either submit or fall for him."

"I'm sure my investigation will turn up something," Blacksad said.

The Manor -

The phonograph is playing music as Catra, Blackfire, Starfire, Leone, and Cleo look over the latest shipment of occult items in cargo crates. They're looking them over as they see if any of the stuff is of any use and not just fakes. There are so many amulets and talismans, from times where fear and superstition pushes people to obtain or make lucky charms. Unscrupulous artisans make money by selling rings and necklaces made of any material at high prices. These improbable trinkets, surrounded by superstition, are supposed to protect people from evil.

"Pretty but another bundle of overpriced necklaces and rings," Blackfire said and glances at Starfire who is wearing some of the fakes and looking into a mirror.

"Same for the rosary and other holy items," Catra said with her pile. "But then again holy items can only be made by someone who is actually holy and not just think they are hollier than everyone else."

"I hadn't really thought about it before till, Sunset pointed it out. The whole Christian rule against practice of idol worship. Which, I said we didn't do that. Sunset just pointed to the large sculpture of Jesus upon the cross, and asked me how could that not be idol worship when the faith wasn't created till long after he was dead and that he is a Jew, not a Christian. And that he wouldn't look European, he would be middle eastern man. And that the Bible was written long after he died and while she can understand of it being a guideline to how to live, few people actually live up to it and just follow till it goes against them, and thinking that no matter what as long as they confess, they go to Heaven, no matter what they do. Telling me that I just believe in the faith, not the man," Cleo said.

"Well she is the daughter of a goddess like queen who is powerful enough to move the sun and the moon of her world. She would know all about how the stories that people make up about her mom are made up," Leone said looking over the khukuri knives that were also in the cargo crates. (4)

"Once the portal opens and everything is settle, I can use the time spell to see for myself," Cleo said. (5)

"Just remember we still have lots to do before you can do that," Blackfire said.

"Hey looks," Starfire said holding a large jewelry box, filled with coins.

"Old German coins, the mark really underwent rapid devaluation during the war to help the German Empire provide for the war effort," Blackfire said. "Worthless now, but might be for coin collectors in the future."

"We haven't gotten anything of worth, since that burlap sack that never runs out of turnips," Catra said.

"At least we will never starve with that," Leone said.

"Yeah... we won't starve with a bag that never turnips," Catra grumbles.

"What? If you don't want turnips then you cook," Leone said who likes to cook for the pride.

"Sure," Catra said. "I can make... what is there?"

"Ham night?" Starfire ask.

"Well, I guess if we have enough ham," Catra said.

"Look in the freezer," Starfire said.

"Or you can go to Max Butcher. We do own it after all, we can just subtract the cost of the ham from the rent," Blackfire said.

"Shouldn't that be Max's Butcher?" Cleo ask.

"Who cares?" Blackfire said. "I just want meat."

"How about fish?" Leone ask.

"We had grilled fish last night," Starfire pointed out.

"I see what's in the freezer first," Catra said.

"Hey this is real," Cleo said holding up a belt. "It's just out of magic."

"I can't believe that magic items need to be refueled," Leone said.

"Sunset did say that in her world magic items don't need to be recharged," Starfire said. (6)

"It's because the laylines that provide magic to this world have been dormant since magic is all but a lost art," Blackfire said.

"What does it do?" Catra ask looking at the belt.

"Checking," Cleo said casting a skill check spell on the belt. "It's a belt of strength."

"Mine!" Leone said grabbing the belt and putting it on. Then looked confused as nothing happens. "Hey, I don't feel any stronger."

"That's because you have to charge it up first," Cleo said. "Come on we need to look over everything. If there's one real one, there might be more."

"Right," the others said as they went back to work looking over the items in the crates.

2 - This doesn't happen alot to someone who can't die, cutting off their head and unless the head is put back on, they just be a never dying head. Like the bad guy in Regular Show The Movie, he has something that just brings him back to life when he's killed and he ends up having his head cut off and him flying off into a void where he dies and comes back to life as a head.

4 - Sunset being from another world would see all the plot holes in the story in the Bible. And seeing how she grew up both in cannon and in this story under a god like being who moves the heavens at will, she would have dealt with ponies who never met Celestia and think they know all about her from the stories told about her. And believe in stuff that has no truth at all to it.

5 - Seeing how in cannon there is a spell that can take you into the past, I don't get why it's not used more. Besides how confusing it would get.

6 - Magic items on Earth because of the lack of magic being everywhere, have lost their power from not being used. So they just need a recharge for them to work again. Like a car battery that hasn't been used in a very long time.

In the basement of the former museum, in the boiler room the furnace is blazing as Leone and Aisha are shoveling coal into the boiler feeding the flames. Taken from an old steam boat and now being used as a generator, after being rebuilt to provide electric power to the building. Which also used for the magical rituals that the residents of the household held.

"Keep the power coming," Sunset said as wires connected to the generator to the copper frame she had setup to harness the electrical power.

On the copper frame is an ancient druid stone, the druid stone is a green-colored, medium-sized stone. The face of the stone is inscribed with a set of runes. The magic of the stone is weak, but being connected to a power source, is providing it with enough power to create a beam of energy which Sunset is focusing into another device she created to recharge the magic belt of strength.

Sunset had learned much from her time in this cat world, by combining science and magic, she's able to do things that pure magic alone couldn't. While she dabbles in all fields of science to has an understanding of how things work, she leave the inventing to the pride's gadget geniuses. They did have a hard time handling the idea that magic is real, till Sunset just told them to treat magic as simply another realm of science.

The machine was built by Rivet a white stripe cat of the Lombax tribe. The tribe is well renowned for their inventiveness and were known to even modify and improve existing creations for their own use. Rivet and the other gadget geniuses are all still in Europe with the rest of the pride, handling their end before coming here.

"There, it's done!" Sunset said as the belt of strength is now fully charged and active again.

"Great," Leone said as she switched the engine to power the house then the magic device, so not to waste the remaining power before the fuel runs out and the boiler goes cold. She reaches for the belt only for Aisha to grab it as well.

"Not so fast," Aisha said as she wants the belt as well.

"I saw it first," Leone said glaring at Aisha who return her glare.

"Let's decide who gets it the usual way," Aisha said.

"Fine with me," Leone said as she and Aisha drop the belt and grope each other in a fiery embrace as they kiss each other.

Sunset seeing that they be busy with their sex fight to decide who gets the belt, left the room as the two began taking off their clothes. If she stays they would just end up pulling her into that sex fight, again. Not that she doesn't mind the sex and it's great R and R, but she just has too much to do with her day to spend a couple of hours having sex. Sunset closed the door behind her as moans and purring came up from behind her.

Sunset walks to the doll house room where all the doll houses are kept. On sturdy tables are the number of dolls houses based on military buildings and displays, all fully supplied with equipment and supplies. Sunset looks at the newest piece of the collection, the massive scale model military fortress with rolls of military vehicles, from tanks to cars with mounted machine guns. With the countries of Europe still rebuilding and in heavy debt, it was easy to find people willing to sell old war machines. Or just steal what was needed and the things taken is easy to write off as paperwork being missing or destroyed. And with magic, easy to smuggle them out of the country right underneath the noses of custom agents. After all who would think that the small realistic military toys are the real things. (1)

"So much to do and so little time. A few more months and I'll show you mother the friends I made, just like you always told me to do," Sunset said leaving the room.

"Sunset have you seen….," Merle ask walking down the stairs but stops upon hearing the moans from the workshop. "They're sex fighting again?"

"Over the belt of strength," Shimmer said.

"Figures, anyways what's the plan for the mayor's party?" Merle ask.

"Normal magic show and I might sing," Sunset said.

"Naria & Eriya want to perform as well," Merle said.

"Alright you two can perform as well," Sunset said to the shadow at the corner.

Stepping out of the shadows came the twins.

"We can be your band while you sing and show off the music you showed us," Merle said as she and the twins are skilled in playing the music that Sunset had showed them called rock and roll.

"Rock and roll," Eriya said.

"We can show off what we learned from you," Naria said.

"Might as well have much fun as we can before it's time for me to go and see mother," Sunset said.

Pata st police station -

In one of the rooms of the station Blacksad is going through all the information he has collected on the shipments going to Sunset Shimmer. Mostly news clippings, and paperwork when she and her pride went through customs. The custom agents search the shipments and only alcohol found are what's used to preserve things in jars, many of the stuff being shipped to Shimmer are of the occult nature. Which her being a stage magician, isn't that strange. The strange stuff is the doll houses and small models she's also getting, all military themed.

Blacksad saw a custom agent open a box containing model tanks of the Renault FT French tank. There were also a number of armored cars in the box as well. According to the custom agents Shimmer has been getting lots of scale model weapons and equipment from the militaries that fought in the war. Blacksad remembered how Shimmer made waves when she was in England and showed off the scale model of the battleships HMS Barham and Royal Oak in bottles. She wouldn't say who built them but some men who served on the ships, were amazed at the sight of the scale models saying that they look just like the real ones before they were sank.

"Here are the files you ask for," Felina Feral the niece of commissioner Feral. She works as a desk jockey and switch board operator.

"Thanks," Blacksad said taking the files of all the known members of Shimmer's pride.

"I never seen a pride so big before," Felina said.

"Know some prides?" Blacksad ask.

"Aunt Roxie is apart of a pride but there are only 3 members, aunt Melo, aunt Ellen and uncle Doug. They run a dairy farm," Felina said.

"Most pride are in the rural areas where having a large family is useful. But Shimmer's pride is 25 strong and the rest are still in Europe. Prides that large are usually loose with members coming and going," Blacksad said.

"That's true my aunt's pride had two other members but they couldn't stand uncle and left," Felina said.

"Which is why it's so strange to have such a large pride with only women in it. It normally takes a king or kings to hold such a large pride together but instead it centers around a queen," Blacksad said.

"Shimmer is a beauty and has the wealth to support them all. They could only like other women, it wouldn't be the first time a pride is form where the women only like other women," Felina points out. (2)

"Well I could use someone who can get into the pride as a mole," Blacksad said.

"Sorry but the Catholic Church, I'm part of is against prides," Felina said.

"Wasn't your grandmother apart of a pride?" Blacksad ask.

"Mother was apart of a pride but left it when she met father," Feral said entering the room.

"How are prides viewed around here?" Blacksad ask.

"Frowned upon but isn't against the law in this state. Those who aren't apart of my church, just see it as a way to form strong bonds with others and most just break apart," Felina said.

"Mother always invited her old pride members to our social events," Feral said.

"So what brings you here Feral?" Blacksad ask.

"Shimmer and her pride has been invited to the party the mayor is throwing to drum up support for his reelection. She's going to be putting on one of her shows, you can pose as one of the guards to get close to her and her pride," Feral said.

"Sounds good, I can get a feel for her and her pride. I can only get some much from these news clippings and articles," Blacksad said.

"What did you find out?" Feral ask.

"Nothing much, Shimmer is either of noble birth or upper class, born into money and fallen on hard times before building herself back up, is highly educated, showing skills and knowledge in many fields from medicine, engineering and other things. Her skills in stage performance is highly rated, skilled in magic acts that leaves other magic performers in shame, she is also a skilled singer and dancer. She has a high opinion of her own beauty and looks down on others, but unlike other upper class twits, she can back it up. In other words this princess is basically everything a queen of a pride should be. Heard of the noble house Dazzlings?" Blacksad ask.

"I heard of them. They are an aristocratic family, during the war my unit stop by the village where the ancestral castle is located. The castle sat empty for years before the newest set of sisters moved back in. From what the villager told me, the family since the dark ages have always consisted of 3 female nobles who would come to the castle and govern for some years before leaving and leaving the village in the care of a steward whose family has been serving the house for generations. And the whole thing repeats. According to the villagers the house always has women and always has 3 heads either sisters or cousins," Feral said.

"According to a news article, Shimmer is close to the current heads of the house. Seen traveling with them and stayed at their castle for awhile. She might be apart of that house but the reporters over there can't find any proof. Which leads to more stories and rumors of Shimmer's past which, I can't find anything but rumors," Blacksad said.

"What about the members of her pride?" Feral ask.

"This is the best I can find," Blacksad said showing the papers on the women from customs.

All the identity papers that were filled out for them to be able to travel to the US, were just filled with the basic information. Age, place of birth, and reason in coming to the country, which for some of the pride members their countries of origin doesn't exist anymore thanks to the war. Most share the same story of being destitute and meeting up with Shimmer who took them in and help them. The only ones who had any real information on them are the ones who are from the US. (3)

Felicia Hardy, from a well off upper class family in New York, New York City. Left her home after a meeting with Shimmer.

Tigra, grew up on the streets of New York, New York City.

Selina Kyle, grew up in an orphanage in Norfolk, Virginia.

Cheetah, came from a farm near Casper, Wyoming.

Cleo, came from a farm in the middle of nowhere in Missouri.

Calico "Callie" Briggs, grew up in the city of Bangor, Maine. She was the secretary for a Mayor Manx who was seen as a very effective mayor but later turned out that he left all the real work to keep the city running to Briggs. Once she left with Shimmer, it all went downhill for Manx.

"This is all what I got on them. Not much of their background but I did find out that they have been mostly overseeing the number of businesses that Shimmer has brought ownership of. And as far as I can see, they just been making sure that the people running the shops follow what Shimmer wants them to operate," Blacksad said.

"Isn't there anything odd?" Felina ask.

"There is a local gunsmith who has a huge order to refit guns for a gunshop that Shimmer brought. Webley-Fosbery automatic revolvers and Pieper Revolving Carbines, she brought them cheap from all the unsold stocks and shipped them here. She's having them refitted to take .50 bullets and going to try to sell them," Blacksad said.

"I never heard of those guns before," Felina said.

"They don't make them anymore. And Shimmer has all the paperwork to have them for the gunshop," Blacksad said.

"That sounds like a lot of work. Why didn't she just buy new models?" Felina ask.

Blacksad shrugged.

"I already know about the weapon shipments. She has all the paperwork and payments for the guns to be shipped here. I remember it because of the shipment also having an armored army car with it," Feral said.

"She has a military armored car?" Blacksad ask.

"A KFT used by the central powers that still has its armor but the gun has been taken off so it's just an armored car now. And there's no law against owning one," Feral said. (4)

"Well that fits, Shimmer has tons of scale model weapons and military vehicles to go with her military theme doll houses she's having ship to her," Blacksad said.

"Like those ships in a bottle?" Felina ask.

"Yes but her thing are very detailed scale model military buildings and equipment," Blacksad said.

"Must be nice to have that kind of money for that kind of a hobby," Felina said looking over the files of the pride members and notice something. "Hey look at this."

Felina put down two photos of Calico "Callie" Briggs for the two men to see. The first is one taken when she was still living in Bangor, the next is a recent photo of her. Briggs in the old photo is rather plain and she's more skinny in body built. The newer photo shows she's now a beauty and has a much more lust figure.

"The old photo is 4 years old and she's in her 30's so it's not like she was still growing," Felina said.

"Yes, that is odd. She looks a lot younger and grown in 4 years," Feral said.

"Well, she could had been using a corset to hide her figure," Blacksad said.

"You mean those things that make you look slimmer than you really are?" Felina ask.

"That's the one," Blacksad said.

"Well some of my female friends are flappers and they wear special flattening bras to make them appear younger and more boyish. But she doesn't look like a flapper and doesn't explain how she became so voluptuous just in four years," Felina said looking between the two photos one of a normal looking woman and the other looks like one of those pin up women pictures. "And how much younger and more attractive she has become." (5)

"Shimmer does play around with lots of occult stuff, there are shipments of that stuff. Or it could be from all the chemicals and other stuff she also having shipped to her," Blacksad said.

"If she did figure out a potion that can do that, she would make a mint," Felina said knowing that there be plenty of women who would love to have that kind of potion. "I wonder if it works on men too?"

"Well your dad could use it, he was like Feral when he was in shape," Blacksad said.

"He's an accountant now," Feral reminded him.

The Mayor's fund raiser -

The mayor's party is taking place in the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, taking place there after the mayor got Sunset Shimmer to agree to come to the party and put on one of her shows. The mayor is counting on her to get people to come to his party and vote for him. The news of Shimmer coming to the party to put on one of her shows, caused lots of people of all classes to come to the party.

In the auditorium, Blacksad acting as one of the guards for the party was making note of which members of the pride came to the party, which is all of them. He kept his ears open as he overhears them talking with each other, which is mostly about having everything ready for the show, and two members who are fighting over who gets a belt of all things. Reminds him of his friend's daughters fighting over things when he was at his place for a party.

The ones going to be performing with Shimmer are, Merle, Cleo, Felicia and the twins Naria & Eriya. One of the members Kitty Katswell wanted to sing and dance, which her sister who looks just like her but for a white stripe in her black hair, said that they're trying to entertain people, not drive them out. Which Kitty said she's a good singer and dancer and started doing that in the backstage. Blacksad quickly covered his ears as it's clear that Kitty is completely tone deaf and what she calls dancing, is more like she's trying to stomp out a fire.

He also notice that all the members of the Shimmer pride, are all very shapely and beautiful. The fact that they wear form fitting clothes that while covering their bodies, doesn't hide their figure. He figures that whoever is paying him to investigate Shimmer and her herd, is doing so to become the king of the pride. Or she is running a smuggling operation and he just doesn't see how she's doing it yet.

Shimmer steps on the stage dressed in a colorful outfit, a thigh length royal purple coat and matching pants with red and yellow highlights. It's form fitting showing off her shapely figure, which Blacksad hasn't seen many that could match. Sunset didn't say a word as she wave her arms and spread them. That's when the most amazing show he has ever seen began with a song.

Sunset glowed purple and as she's singing she created a purple ball above her. And it took the shape of her but as a 20 foot giantess floating above her. Sunset began dancing with her copy mimicking her movements.

The song was finish, the magic copy fades away and Sunset and her pride members on stage took a bow. The audiences began clapping and cheer, they had never heard music like that before and the magic show that came with it was amazing. They quite down as Sunset and her pride began their next act.

Blacksad watching from backstage couldn't believe what he just saw, the pride members were all ready with their music instruments and he had his eyes on them after the first time Sunset made one of them appear. They just disappear each time Sunset toss one of those balls. His mind is racing, trying to figure out how she managed to did that. He watch the next ac and the one that came after, with each act making him wonder how she is doing what she's doing.

1 - Like in real life the years after the First World War during the 1920's in Europe is one of rebuilding and confusion thanks to many empires breaking up. And with so much war surplus and desperation, it's easy to get ahold of old shipments of weapons and supplies.

2 - In this story because prides being a thing, the cat people don't see any problems in same sex relationships.

3 - Information gathering in the 1920's is very hard thanks to the fact you would need to go into the archives and look through books and files to figure things out. And information from other countries is even harder to get.

4 - The KFT or Kraftfahrtuppen (lit. "motorized troops") was a robust and reasonably fast car with a central machine gun that could be used defensively and offensively as a light anti-aircraft tool. By the time World War 1 broke out, motorized vehicles were already valued for their hauling capabilities and all manner of types were utilized by all sides. This version was used by Austrians on the Italian front.

The opening song sung by Ms Shimmer ‘Give A Reason’ stunned the crowd, the music is unlike anything that has ever been played, called Rock and Roll by Ms Shimmer. A new brand of music that her pride have created,” Mitzi May said reading the newspaper.

“I was there and the music is nothing like, I have ever heard before,” Sedgewick Sable said.

Both of them are sitting at the underground speakeasy, which thanks to the steady supply of imported alcohol that is safe to drink compared to the homemade moonshine, which some are contaminated, mainly from the materials used in the construction of the still. Has made Lackadaisy a popular spot with drinkers, and got the attention of many high rollers after hearing the news that the speakeasy has 8 bottles of Domaine Leroy Musigny Grand Cru wine. Which one of the bottles has already been open by one of the rich industrialist of the city, wanting to show off his wealth. (1)

Which made Mitzi worried as the amount of money she’s making from the alcohol Shimmer is supplying her, makes her wonder what she wants in return. Sunset is rolling in money and has ties in high places, which leaves what could Shimmer want from her. She hasn't asked for any money, she did however been having her crew running errands for her, picking up packages and delivering other things to her businesses or to her home.

"I just wish why she picked me and what she wants," Mitzi said.

“Maybe she wants to keep this all out of sight and can’t be connected to her,” Sable said.

“Maybe,” Mitzi said.

Kingdom of Hungary -

The region is a mountainous region of Hungary. The region of Valdelobos has culturally been isolated from the rest of the country for most of its history, being a former Roman city state and the home of Iluminados, a primal religion which survived while others faded away. The religion of Iluminados is base around the immortal sirens, a trio of sirens who made the region their home and protected it since ancient times when the Roman Empire was still around. Using their powers to cause any invading force to fight among themselves, allowing the defenders to slaughter the rest. Or transform into dragons unleashing their rage on the invaders. Causing a religion to form around the sirens who displayed powers and magic unseen.

Valdelobos was given control to the Dazzlings noble family who are said to have been started by said sirens, after a visit from the Roman emperor of the time to see the sirens for himself. After allying themselves to the Empire, they were given rulership of the region. It’s said that the reason why the Roman Empire lasted after the fall of the empire is because of the sirens aiding the empire. Till a betrayal told in the epic of ‘Siren Song’ where a power mad emperor tried to make the sirens his wives and cause the fall of the western empire when the sirens transform into dragons and lay waste to the city of Rome, with only the eastern empire surviving till its own fall to the Ottoman Empire.

The Dazzlings house continue to rule over the region, creating a sense of order while the surrounding lands, had kingdoms raise and fall. Merchants and traders came and did business in the region, with noble families moving to the area during the Black Death where the Dazzling house making sure that the chaos that the plague cause didn’t happen in their region. As they made it well known that the rats and their fleas are the cause of the plague and made examples of any of the people who tried to throw blame elsewhere or start witch hunts. By having the leaders being burn at the stake instead. Creating a safe zone while the other countries tore themselves apart, with soldiers keeping the few safe roads into the region under heavy guard to stop any spread. Which cause the region to become quite wealthy thanks to the Siren bank, seen as the most stable financial institution in the world.

The city of Siren is built around the bank that the stories said to been started by the sirens themselves and still owned by the Dazzlings house. The bank loans to countries and invest in others, with the bank being very trusted thanks to how stable the bank is in managing the money that is put in. Other banks are more powerful but the Siren bank being the oldest is seen as the most stable. The bank is also known for their legendarily secretive bank accounts, which is a tax haven for many with ill-gotten gains.

Causing many companies and guilds to setup shop in the city. Which caused many of the smaller villagers to lose their young people who moved to the city for more opportunities and get an education. That gives the region a wall of protection, the city being a hub of economic power, few leaders dare to even think about invading as it would just bring down the wrath of other countries who depend on the bank to continue to operate.

Over the centuries, the Dazzlings house descendants continued to oversee and enforce matters in the region as feudal lords and castellans. While the land’s political and technological climate changed radically over the course of the centuries, the region itself remained a time capsule, being a remnant of the Roman Empire. Which is seen well among the oldest of the villages and Siren Castle, with some buildings having been around since those ancient times, being rebuilt and repaired over the centuries.

The soldiers of the Dazzlings House are of the remnants of the 27th Roman Legion, who served under the command of the Dazzlings house. Maintaining their ranking system, training, and discipline for centuries, with them being the only standing army that had female soldiers in Europe. The soldiers are still used as a military police force and during the war kept the peace as refugees came to the region and acted as neutral ground during talks between the two sides.

Far from Siren City is Siren castle that is built on a hill and separated from the city by a deep riven with a river at the bottom. Several old bridges and a newer one are built over the riven. Protected by an outer wall and an inner wall. It started off as a temple to the sirens before being built upon in the passing centuries. The castle has survived fires, sieges, natural disasters, and many other things that has damaged the castle. The castle has been rebuilt and remodeled to its current state.

The old outer walls built in Roman times is still used to keep out the wild animals that still roam in the forest and hillside areas. The forest and hillside is home to the last herd of Auroch, a specie of wild cows that died out everywhere else. The Dazzlings house has royal hunts whenever the population needs culling with them either being hunted and killed or captured and used for breeding bigger and stronger cattle. The forest also the home of elephants which the Dazzlings house collected over the centuries from side shows, privet zoos or another places, letting them loose in the forest where they bred and multiplied. There are also the flocks of dodos that one member of the Dazzlings house took a liking too and gathered up a flock and brought home with her. While the dodos died off on their home island they thrived under the care of the Dazzlings house and are now farmed like other farm birds.

Followed newer walls that protects the castle town. Between that are the smaller hamlets and farmlands which have emptied out over the years as more jobs and opportunities lay in moving to the city. The main military base is still standing at the site where the original Roman fort once stood. The soldiers are well trained and paid for their service, and in agreement with the Hungary government also trains the government soldiers and sends their soldiers to serve with the government army.

The region is apart of the Hungary empire but as a self governing region. Which the government is happy with as the region keeps the payments and other agreements flowing to them. A deal that the Dazzlings house has always maintained with the different kingdoms and governments that raised and fall around them, while they remained.

The castle town and the remaining populated hamlets have been modernized thanks to the Dazzlings house investing to improve the living standards. Power lines connecting to the new dam and power plant, light up homes and buildings. The region still used the old Roman aqueducts and baths built and the public toilets, being repaired and maintained for centuries, with only the new water treatment plant being built to make the water clean and the sewage plant to treat the waste water. Which was dump out of a drain into the riven before the treatment plant was built.

The castle itself is protected by a dry moat, which depends on the time of the year is filled with water or dry. The wall that still have towers standing that have be changed to gun towers, cannons and machine guns were place on the towers during the war for protection. The main entrance is still the main gatehouse that still has a working drawbridge that can still be lifted up, the gatehouse also has a working portcullis. There are also several sally ports built along the wall, allowing people to get in and out from the castle from small and easily overlooked doors halfway up a wall. Unlike other castles thanks to the still working aqueducts the latrines didn’t lead to a pit where a gong farmer had to empty it out now and then, but are connected to the sewerage system that takes the waste away.

Inside the walls are several courtyards called baileys. During war times, animals and people were sheltered inside, during peacetimes the courtyards housed workshops. In the modern era the courtyard now houses 3 guest houses where workshops use to be located at. There is still a stable and a blacksmith forge, mainly used as a maintenance shed where all the tools are kept. Several store houses, a garage for the cars. A greenhouse has also been built. The guard houses are still around and used by the soldiers who guard the castle.

The castle keep has been changed and rebuilt to be more homely than a fortress. The great hall is located in the keep that is used both as the dining room and ballroom. The castle still has the shrine to the sirens, which is also a bathhouse, now serves as an indoor pool.

There are plenty of bedrooms for the residents and guests, servant quarters, a guardroom for the soldiers station in the keep. The full time servants and guards who stay inside the keep are all women, no men are allowed to stay inside the keep. A few exceptions have been allowed, like when Kimba the white prince was given sanctuary in the keep.

The kitchen that still has some of the old kitchen equipment still there, like the spit wheel where a small dog would run in the wheel to turn whatever is being spit roasted over the fire. Others like the larder has been turned into the refrigerator like the cold room that’s deep underground that is still in use to keep the food from rotting, has freezer AC installed to keep the room colder.

The castle is a mix of the old and new, with the current heads of the castle being the 3 Dazzlings sisters. The Dazzlings house has always been lead by women as no man has been born into the family and there is always 3 of them. The different generations would rule for some years before they would head off and never return. The steward left in charge would rule till the new generation of the house would return to the castle to rule, mirroring the appearances of the old generation but have different personalities.

Only a select few knows or managed to figure out that the Dazzlings house has always remained the same. They are the sirens of legends and are immortal, just disappearing for some years before returning as their own daughters to hide the fact that they don’t age or die.

Inside the Keep -

In the grand hall a feast is being held as Adagio, Aria, and Sonata are heading for America to meet up with Sunset Shimmer. They been living in this world for centuries now and while they do enjoy some things, they do wish to return to their own world. The energy they gather to keep them alive, isn’t like magic which thanks to the witch hunts and the spread of the church stamped out magic. It’s been so long since they got to feed off of someone who could use magic, and had to feed off of emotions instead. Which thanks to all the wars that happen in Europe, there was lots of it for them to feed upon.

Then Sunset showed up having came through a portal and found herself stuck here like them. Sunset still has her magic and used it to get her fortune, she put on magic shows and wowed crowds with simple magic tricks from Equestria which are just amazing for the cats of this world. Working sideshows and traveling circuses, earning fame and fortune the hard way. Getting attention and offers that had her traveling from one place to other.

As Sunset traveled she also robbed gangs, outlaws, turning them in for the bounty on their heads, and stealing for the rich. She even salvaged sunken wrecks for valuables, like from the wreck of the HMS Hussar that sank in New York harbor in deep water, where she recovered the payroll for the British soldiers worth 3 to 4 million in 1763 money. Sunset gathered a pride around her as she traveled around, as her drive kept her moving forward to her goal of returning to Equestria and taking her revenge.

Sunset’s journey is also how she met up with the Dazzlings, in her search for magic. On her travels she did uncover real magic and magical arts from which she learned how the magic of this world works. The Dazzlings have collected magic items, books and scrolls here and there. From there they discovered that they are from Equestria and they all want to return.

Around the table are the Dazzlings own pride members.

Turmoil is a harshly beautiful noblewoman the only heiress of a noble family who always been apart of the military. Because of how women weren’t allowed in her country’s military, she journeyed to Valdelobos where women are allowed. She is the commander of the new Air Force, with the German war blimp that gotten after the war being what they’re going to be using to travel to America.

Amelia the captain of an old sailing ship, Legacy. A merchant vessel that has been serving under the Dazzlings house for generations. She brought her crew with her, Panthera, Eris, Kuune, Melwin, Chaika, and Dr. Durel.

Yoruichi, Haineko, Polly Esther, Francine, and Dee Dee, the current kunoichis that served under Dazzlings for generations. A trip to Japan before they closed their shores and ending up having runway ninjas flee with them when the Dazzlings went back home. Gain them a clan of ninjas that have served them well for generations. (2)

Then there are the oldest members of the pride. Thanks to a magic spell that stores the memories of a person in a gemstone and a golem spell. Their pride members who choose to, can live on as copies. Their bodies can be shaped and molded to how they like but they aren’t the original but just a copy, stored in a glass gem. The spell and bodies also break down after some years have pass and the ritual has to be done again. They been doing the ritual for centuries and there are many others who the sirens have done the ritual on. Which is why there are so many females in the region.

Shaharl former priestess of the old Roman gods with her daughter, the oldest of the pride member. She has a body made to be like that of a succubus with wings on her back that allows her to fly. Which she is the one behind the legends. Her body is very busty with I cups size breasts and a large jiggly butt, which the other members of the pride like her followed suit in designing their new bodies. (3)

Shamsiel a whimsical and mischievous woman and daughter of Shamsiel. She also has the body model after her mother. Has G cups.

Roxanne De Desir a noblewoman who lost everything during the fall of Rome. Has take the simple role of a maid and mostly found in the kitchen. Has K cups.

Luceria von Diamante was a queen till her kingdom was invaded and conquered. Now a devoted follower of the Dazzlings, she seeks to please her queens. She takes the role of steward when the Dazzlings leave on their journey, which she shares with others. Has M cups.

Gladys Von Wackenheim a powerful warrior, the daughter of a famous commander of ancient times. The best sword master of the pride, unmatched military strategist and a brilliant chess player. Has I cups.

Isis Petrovna Elenskaya a powerful warrior in her own right. Has J cups.

Emeralia was a priestess in the past and now the distant and stoic minister. Has H cups.

Nellis a priestess who learned to use magic and became the court magician. Has H cups.

Aphrodia a former queen of a fallen kingdom. She also acts as a steward when the Dazzlings are gone. Has L cups.

Rosalyn another princess of a lost kingdom and current body is a merwoman. Has I cups.

Estoria another princess of a lost kingdom. She also acts as a steward for the region when it’s her turn. Has K cups.

Serebria the head priestess of Iluminados. She has been following her goddesses for centuries and still heads the faith which still has followers. Has N cups.

Then there are the goddesses who are the surviving test subjects for the ritual to copy and make a golem body for the pride members. They use to pretend to be goddesses in the past as part of the Iluminados faith. They do use more normal looking bodies time to time but they are currently using their goddess bodies who are all stand over 7 feet tall at the shortest.

Ajura a former female gladiator who in the ancient past pretended to be a demonic goddess of war. Stands over 8 feet and built like a brick house. Has I cups.

Venus a former slave who has taken the name and appearance of the Roman goddess of love and beauty. Has L cups.

Athena a former slave who has taken the name and appearance of the Roman goddess of wisdom. Has M cups.

Farnelia a former slave who has taken the name and appearance of the demonic goddess of ice. She has large bird wings on her back and the source for the reason why angles are now look like cats with wings, instead of how they really are described in the Bible. Has M cups.

Then there is the lone king of the pride, the only male who won the right to being the king of the pride. Even if he’s clearly not in charge of the pride. Izak who was a young man living in his abandon village by himself for years far in the north where the Dazzlings found him.

“The rest of Sunset’s pride are finishing up loose ends here and be heading back to American. We be joining them, the time window when the portal reopen is small,” Adagio said.

“We be able to give you all real bodies once there,” Aria said.

The clay bodies of their pride feel real as they all can still feel with their clay bodies. They don’t need to eat and don’t need to sleep either but can sleep when they want to, but they can’t have children and if their bodies are damaged or a limb is cut off, the limb turns back to clay. And have to change their bodies and create a new memory copy to keep on living. Some couldn’t handle it and choose to just die for good or kept sealed away in a memory glass gem till they can have better bodies. With the news of a way to return to Equestria they now have a way to give them flesh and blood bodies again. Even making them dragons so that they like the Dazzlings can live for centuries.

“And we can wake up all the others,” Sonata said as they done the memory spell lots of times over the centuries.

“But can we really just go and take over?” Turmoil ask.

“The guards are a joke from what Sunset told us and the ponies are cowards,” Aira said.

“The only ones we need to worry about are the ones who are brave, but once they’re taken care of, the ponies will fall in line,” Sonata said.

“Don’t worry once they see the weapons of this world, they will fall and with Sunset she can take the throne from Celestia. And we can rule over the scared and cowardly ponies,” Adagio said.

Inside the police station Blacksad has gathered all the information he has managed to get on Sunset Shimmer and her pride. He also gotten a list of properties that Shimmer owns in the city, buying ownership from the business owners who continue to run their businesses but now answer to her. She has invested in the businesses and improved things, fixing the shops up and bringing in new equipment in.

Benson, a ceramic factory was brought and now mass producing clay statues of young women. The statues are all modeled using the same mold that used the pride member Catra as the base. Lacking tails but very appealing in the shape but lack much details. Blacksad talk with the workers and ask who are ordering all the statues, and none of them know but they're being paid to make them and been storing them in the factory's warehouses. There are already hundreds of them and the order is still not near completion.

Gorge's Gunshop, while not owned by Shimmer is still under contact to refit the guns she brought. Gorge the owner of the shop had hired help to get the order filled. With one of Shimmer's pride members coming once a week to get the completed guns and making sure he's working on the order.

Arezz's Jewelries, a high class shop in the rich section of the city. Has been supplied with jewelry thanks to the new owner Shimmer's connections, all coming from Europe.

Gabriel Villa's Quality Tailoring, the tailor shop has been doing some good business thanks to the female underwear the shop is selling that's made for women by women. Something that Felina said that she has gotten from the shop and they're much more comfortable to wear, not pinching or digging into her body.

Nate's Pawn Shop, like other pawn shops doesn't ask questions where the stuff the people come in with came from. Blacksad learned that the new owner wants Nate to put aside anything that is said to be magical. So far only one item was taken by one of the pride members of Shimmer. A strange amulet with an eye in the middle.

Donny's pharmacy, the pharmacy is supplying with medical supplies to Shimmer. When ask the reason why, Donny said that he was only told that it's for the pride members as they do shows around the city and want to be well stocked. They also donate medicine to charities, making Shimmer very well liked.

Shimmer Clinic, a clinic open for the general public which Shimmer open in the poorer part of the city. Is supplied by Donny's pharmacy and has good doctors working there.

Sunny Soup, a private charity that Shimmer started that provides free food to the poor and the homeless. It's supplied by some of the other businesses that Shimmer owns, giving Shimmer very good PR with the city. There is one odd thing about the soup kitchen, it serves lots of turnips and eggs for some reason. Blacksad peek around in the back and saw that the pantry of the kitchen is overflowing with bags of turnips and cartons full of eggs. He asked one of the workers where all the turnips and eggs came from, and they said that the turnips and eggs are drop off by one of Shimmer's pride members.

Charlie's Pizzeria, time to time a pride member would show up to get some pizzas. Donates unsold pizzas to the soup kitchen.

Ross Accountant Firm, from what he learn the firm has been handling the money coming in from Europe and the businesses that Shimmer owns.

Boolie's Bakery, donates unsold bake goods to the soup kitchen. The shop also mass produces burger buns for a restaurant Shimmer owns.

Sunny Library, a library setup in an old pool hall in the poor area of the city by Shimmer. Made her well like by the people there.

Bella Siciliana, a high class restaurant that pride members and Shimmer go to time to time. They also get kitchen supplies from the restaurant too.

Max Butcher, donates to the soup kitchen of meat that are nearly bad and pride members come by to pick up some meat and bones.

Goble's Imports and Exports, a warehouse on the riverfront. The shipments of the scale model military buildings and equipment are off loaded there, with shipments of so called magic items. So far there's nothing being smuggled in from that end, the custom agents had made sure of that.

Vick's Gas Stop, the Shimmer pride main source of fuel and repairing their vehicles.

Xander Smelter, the new owner has been ordering some custom machine parts.

Coin Wash, a laundromat that the pride members use.

Egg Barrel, a restaurant that Shimmer calls fast food that serves egg burgers, like that burger place he stops by now and then, White Castle back in New York. The restaurant use to be just another diner till Shimmer brought it and had it remodeled. The burgers are fried eggs or scrambled, on a bun with toppings being extra. The meal comes with fries or onion rings and a soda of your choice. The burgers are cheap and tasty, with it being very popular thanks to word of mouth and radio ads. (1)

"I check around and the supply of eggs for the Egg Barrel, doesn't seem to come from any farms around here. The same with the turnips," Blacksad said to Feral as he eats his 3rd burger from said fast food restaurant.

"Well the eggs and turnips have to be coming from somewhere," Feral said.

"Feral you really should just tell me if some government agency is the reason why I'm here," Blacksad said.

"I already told you, my hands are tied," Feral said.

"Well, I figure that Shimmer has been buying businesses and is the one behind all the imported booze coming into the city. Of course how she's able to do it is still a big mystery and the only things she's been bringing in from Europe are the scale model doll houses and magic items. And going in to search her manor would just bring lots of heat and unwanted attention if things go south. Seeing how well connected Shimmer is and which of the royal families she's related to would be a big black eye for whoever hired me to investigate her," Blacksad said.

"Shimmer and her prides odd behavior and all the shipments she's been bringing in has some people interested in her," Feral admitted.

"Tell me about it, those statues of young women are being made by the hundreds and yet no one knows who they're going to be sent to. The guns she's having remodeled have all the legal documents done for them so she's covered by that end, but she doesn't have any ammo for them that I know of for them. And there's all those miniatures military equipment and weapons that she keeps having ship to her from Europe. She is planning on something but what it is, I'm still trying to figure it out," Blacksad said and look at Feral. "Mind telling me what I'm actually looking for?"

Feral lock the door of the room making sure it's lock.

"What I say will not leave this room," Feral said.

"Crystal," Blacksad said.

"Surplus weapons and equipment that are leftover from the war have been going missing throughout Europe. Besides the usual military men selling off the old equipment, the reason why the state department is so interested is that warehouses that contained American equipment have also gone missing," Feral said.

"Wait the war has been over for years, why are there still warehouses of old equipment still over there?" Blacksad ask.

"Red tape, in whose going to pay and handle the transportation," Feral said.

"Oh," Blacksad said.

"Intelligence agents from allied countries have been reporting the forces loyal to the Russian royal family have suddenly being armed with old equipment, just appearing in tents and buildings that were empty before. With members of Shimmer's pride being spotted around. Seems she's helping the royal family and that she's been keeping some of the equipment for herself for some reason," Feral said.

"Looks like she's a Russian noble by the sounds of things. But the only military equipment I have found are the guns she brought outright and had ship here. If she's smuggling the military equipment anlong with the imported liquor into the country she's not doing it here. Or doing it so well that only she and her pride knows how they're doing it," Blacksad said.

"Which is why you were called in to find out how she's doing it," Feral said.

"I can't find anything on the military equipment but I'm close to finding the speakeasy where the import liquor are ending up. Squeeze that and I should find how she's getting stuff in. Of course it would help if more of the cops in the city are as honest as you are," Blacksad said.

"I only became commissioner 3 years ago. There is only so much that I can do, and ever since the 18th amendment was pass like everywhere else there seem to be more drinking then there was before liquor was ban," Feral said who is fed up with that law the morel guardians got pass, doing more harm then good.

"With prohibition, the crime rate has sky rocketed and mobsters are getting really powerful. Those moral guardians really made a mess of things. Not to mention how much money is going into the pockets of organized crime," Blacksad said. (3)

"But it's the law and I have to enforce it," Feral said missing the days when he could relax with a strong drink.

Lackadaisy -

In the underground speakeasy, Cheethara, and Pumyra are treating some members of their pride who were in Europe a tour of the city. The 5 pride members are the first of many who are still busy in Europe making sure that all the military equipment is being shipped to the manor. All right under the noses of the custom agents and other government agents from both here and back in Europe.

Celestia the oldest member of the pride and the one who found Sunset when she first came to this world. She's very close with Sunset due to her still being young when she found her and took her in, having a very close relationship that's very motherly. Thanks to some magic and potions, she's now a more youthful mature woman than her real age would be, she also has a very voluptuous body with very large M cup breasts.

Gunevia a large woman who was living out in the middle of nowhere til Sunset came across her and joining the pride. Has modified her body to be very strong and has K cup breasts.

Veronica a woman who lived in a small village running her late husband's butcher shop, till she met up with Sunset on her travels and joined her pride. Used the potions and magic to get a younger body and more shapely, has J cup breasts.

Ishtovia a former nun who left after she learned how deep the corruption the church goes. Protecting the image of the church then dealing with the priest that's been raping the boys under his charge. Sunset help her arrange an accident to kill the priest and send him off to Hell where he belongs. Has turn her back on the teachings of the church and has embraced her suppressed sexual desires. Has a use body with I cup breasts.

Liesel a fire blower from a traveling circus that suffered an accident that caused the circus to disband. Sunset found her on the streets and joined up with the pride. Has a talent in fire magic and used potions and magic to fix her body from the years of rough living, has a slender body with H cup breasts. (2)

The ladies are attracting lots of attention from the other guests of the speakeasy. Thanks to how attractive they are combine with their more than ample bodies on display with clothes that aren't meant to contain melon sized breasts, even if their clothes cover them up. Also that all of them are drinking baby mice wine with the bottles that contain dead animals empty of liquor on their table.

On stage are 4 other members of the Shimmer pride, Cleo, Felicia, and the sisters Blackfire and Starfire. The foursome are putting on a dance and singing a song, which after the mayor's party the new brand of music called Rock and Roll has become hugely popular within the city. The songs are spreading thanks to Shimmer and her pride making records causing it to become widespread across the country.

"Those girls are great," Rocky said working as a server till it was his turn to play.

"Sure and it has nothing to do with how… ample their figures are," Ivy huffed staring at the bodies of the women on stage that are covered in skin tight outfits, causing certain parts of their bodies to jiggle. And from what she has seen is causing both the men and women in the club to stare.

"Well it's not like you're not staring either. Shimmer's pride is already known for the beauties that are in it and seeing how the new pride members are all hot mamas. I can't wait to see what the rest look like," Rocky said causing Ivy to blush.

"Rocky please don't get your hopes up. There are plenty of guys around here who outclass you trying to be the king of that pride," Freckle said who is manning the bar.

"True but a guy can dream. Also there are plenty of women who want in on that pride too," Rocky said teasing Ivy.

"Stop that," Ivy said blushing as she does have friends and family who are in prides but thinking of her with Shimmer's pride of beauties just intimidates her. With her slender body compared to their voluptuous bodies, she just felt like a younger girl compared to them.

"Where is Viktor anyways?" Rocky ask.

"Getting a new shipment," Freckles said.

"The new shipment has mead," Ivy said.

"What's mead?" Rocky ask.

The 4 pig farmers who attempt to kill Rocky yesterday where he ended up burning their house down. The brothers Avril, Avery, and Emery, and their friend Benjy, finally tracked him down. He was looking for a supplier for moonshine but the farmers just tried to kill him.

They broke into the storehouse where the cars of the speakeasy are kept, where Viktor was unloading the new crate of liquor from Shimmer. He wasn't alone as Tigress is the one who was delivering that night. Viktor had seen the 4 coming and turn off the lights, leaving everyone lost in the dark, expect for Tigress who could locate the farmers by her magic enchanted night vision, letting her see even in pitch darkness. Using her knife she killed one of them by throwing it into his neck. The other 3 fired wildly with Tigress sliding underneath a car and using her gun fired at two of the men's feet sending them falling followed by head shots. And because she's underneath the car the remaining farmer didn't see the flash just the noise. Viktor spotting the flash of lights from the wild firing of the last farmer fired his shotgun and killed him.

"You killed him," Tigress said getting up and turning on the lights, revealing the four dead bodies.

"You're good in the dark," Viktor said.

"Yes, I have to be. A mass of bodies in the dark and having to make your way to the bathroom without stepping on someone, I need to be," Tigress said.

"Oh," Viktor said looking away and saw the crate of mead having been shot.

"What's the damage?" Tigress ask.

"Lost six bottles," Viktor said.

"Replaceable," Tigress said and looks at the bodies. "I'll take care of them. I go and drop them off where they can be food."

"Food for what?" Viktor ask.

"Some animals," Tigress said opening the trunk of the car she came in with and began stuffing the bodies inside which Viktor helped.

In his office Asa Sweet grumbles to himself as the farmers his gang used to get rid of bodies, by feeding the bodies to their pigs. The farmers did attack the warehouse that leads to the back of the underground speakeasy, they entered and none came back out. The only one that left was one of the women in Shimmer's pride, Tigeress who drove off in the car she came in with. The men he had watching, only saw her and Viktor in the warehouse, who must had took out the 4 farmers.

Asa frowns as before he was just waiting for Lackadaisy to die and he could just come in and offer Mitzi a deal, for old times sake. Besides he does owe Atlas that much at least, he wouldn't be the man he is now without him. Then Shimmer came and began supplying the speakeasy with imported alcohol, none of the moonshine that are made in bathtubs, but the good stuff. Even handing over the most expensive wine in the world that's available on the open market, each bottle costing 40,000 each. He heard one of the high rollers in the business world went and brought one of the bottles to display how much wealth he has where he could spend that much on a bottle.

Then there's that restaurant she open that she calls a fast food restaurant Egg Barrel, which they did make the egg burgers and fries fast. He glance at the brown paper bag that came from that restaurant, he had to admit the food is cheap and are filling. Even Mordecai likes the food coming from the restaurant and he's really picking about his food, like just about everything else.

Egg Barrel is making lots of money, that has its own stocks as Shimmer is making it into a brand. Like that White Castle restaurant he went to when he was up north. He heard that Sable is building his own Egg Barrel on the side of the city he's living at so that he has a steady source of income and be under the brand name of Egg Barrel, where he would pay Shimmer a percent to use the name and be supplied with all the eggs that seem to come from nowhere. (Which in a couple of years would be his lifeline as all of his other businesses fail after the stock market crash.) (1)

Asa has been looking into how she's been smuggling all of the goods she's been supplying for her businesses around the city. He still wonders why she's been smuggling turnips of all things, the soup kitchen and even the Egg Barrel has turnips on the menu. Eggs he could understand, they're used in lots of foods, but turnips? He tried to find out where the smuggle goods are coming from but nothing, the warehouse where the smuggle goods are coming from was brought by Shimmer and run by her pride members. The workers and drivers have no idea where the creates of eggs and turnips are coming from, just that they just appear in the warehouse when they come in for their shift. And seeing how the pay is 8 dollars an hour, the workers and drivers aren't looking to ruin such a good deal.

With the Feds in town he couldn't do much without drawing attention to himself. He's still making money on his side of the city but with Lackadaisy serving imports, the speakeasy has been doing better than it had been since... Thinking about Atlas always made him feel guilt. Shaking it off he has to deal with Shimmer, she's cutting into too much of his profits but he needs to do it in a way so that it wouldn't lead back to him.

Outside of the City -

All the members of the Maitre Carrefour Cult have gathered, Nico and Serafine had gathered them all together. The ritual to summon their god the loa Maitre Carrefour has been setup and the one who will do the summoning is Sunset Shimmer who came along with a group of her pride members. The place the ritual is taking place is the farm that the pig farmers owned when they were alive, their bodies are being offered along with the other offerings for the ritual.

Sunset showed off the magic she is able to cast to the members and her pride members also showed off the magic powers they gained thanks to their queen. All of them have enhance strength and durability, enhance youth, beauty and bodies shaped by magic. They showed pictures of what they use to look like and what they look like now. All the members have been given a potion that after it's been drunk will give the same results that needs a couple of weeks for the effects , just not as breathtaking with the pride members. So that their changes can be waved off as a better lifestyle and diet.

Felicia Hardy and Selina Kyle, both have the ability to see any object they're seeking, being able to see through solid objects and see what they seek. And both are able to move around without making any noise and while they don't become invisible, people just don't notice them. Their powers make them completely nondescript, so that they're almost impossible to notice until they do something to draw attention to themselves.

Tigra and Cheetah both of them have claws that can leave claw marks on stone. They can use their claws to climb on surfaces that they otherwise couldn't climb.

Cheethara has super speed, being able to move at insane speed.

Pumyra is able to jump high, leaping up high on top of the farm house in a single bound.

Wilykit is able to cling to any surface and scale them, which she showed off by walking up a tree.

Ishtovia is able to use healing magic, which she healed any wounds that the cult members have and any sickness. She explained that she use to be a woman of faith, till she saw how corrupt the faith she was apart of was and left it. She now able to use healing magic that her old faith would have called witchcraft and the work of the devil, when she's able to do is exactly the same power the person of their faith is built around could do in their stories. Who if he did come back would be seen as a devil by the very faith that is built around him, especially if he was reborn as a woman or any other race that isn't what they want him to be. (2)

Liesel has the power to control fire and is completely immune to heat. Which she showed off by putting her face into the flames of a torch for all to see with nothing done to her.

The circle runes glowed and the bodies of the farmers turn to dust and fell apart, a goat or pigs would have worked too but this way the bodies would just disappear without a trace. A dark furred young man appeared in the middle of the ritual circle and he doesn't look pleased being summoned. He looks around and frowns seeing the cult that has been praying to him who all fell to their knees before their god. He then turns to the one who summon him, frowning upon seeing her, again.

"Why have you summon me this time?" Maitre Carrefour ask.

"I need you to empower this compass so that no matter what, it will lead me to where, I want to go," Sunset said holding out an old compass.

"For that you summon me?" Maitre Carrefour ask.

"Yes, I did the ritual and adding a few others to make sure, and I have several barrels of rum mixed with gunpowder just like you like," Sunset said pointing to the 8 barrels of rum mixed with gunpowder next to the ritual circle.

"Calling upon me for such a small matter," Maitre Carrefour said growling.

"None of that, you need people to believe in you to exist. Some of the gods have either been completely forgotten or are just clinging onto any form of pray now. Phanes gave me that barrel that never runs out of eggs just so that by the egg burgers being eaten, gives him something to feed upon. Without mortals to believe in you, you will fade away and lose your power," Sunset said. (3)

"Christianity has dealt a blow to many but, I'm still a god," Maitre Carrefour growls.

"And not as powerful as what I'm use to dealing with. After all can you or any of the other gods can move the sun and the moon?" Sunset ask causing said god to frown. "Gods gain strength from praise and worship, you are only as powerful as directly proportional to how many people believe in you, you have a cult of followers right here. I casted a silent spell so that they can't hear us. But what you think will happen, if I show that their god they built up in their imagination, isn't as powerful as they believe in? I explained to them that by using this ritual and having the right offerings, you can grant them a boom. The potions I gave them, are the same as what me and my pride have but I told them I would summon you to empower the potions. You can tell them to keep the effects of the potion they just need to continue to pray to you and make offerings now and then. They will spread the tale of how if someone makes the potion and preform the ritual to summon you. With the correct offering, you can empower the potion with your magic to make them be youthful and have a better body, as long as they continue to make offerings to you, and unlike the Christian god who doesn't need to answer or do anything to keep the followers, you actually will do something for his followers instead of nothing. You can grow it into a true faith and not a cult of a small number of followers."

"Yes, that will piss that lazy god off," Maitre Carrefour smiles liking the idea. "You paint a good picture with your words."

"Then we have an agreement," Sunset said holding up the compass.

"Yes," Maitre Carrefour said empowering it with his magic to locate whatever the holder seeks.

Far from the farm -

Having sneaked as close as he's comfortable with, Blacksad has been watching the little party that Shimmer had thrown for a strange group of people. Using a telescope he watched as Shimmer and her pride created a circle on the ground that look like some kind of occult stuff. He then saw the 4 bodies of men being place in the circle followed by Shimmer chanting something as she preformed a ritual of some kind.

He watched the show not believing what he's seeing as the ground began glowing red and the bodies crumbled away like sandcastles. Then a man rose from the ground and he Shimmer talk to each other, while the non pride members kneeled before the man and stayed that way as they waited. He had watched before the ritual started of the pride members displaying something out of pulp magazines, walking up a tree, moving super fast, leaving claw marks on stone, and one of them putting her face in fire and not screaming.

Blacksad has seen lots of stuff over the years and seen many gruesome crime scenes in his line of work. But what he just witness is something that he has never seen. He couldn't help but think that just maybe magic is actually real.

"Look what we got here," Cheethara said having sneaked up behind Blacksad.

Turning around Blacksad saw that she's not alone as she has Tigra and Cheetah with her. Cheetah Is holding a large barrel over her shoulder. He also saw Felicia standing behind them looking through his wallet.

"He's a private detective, name John Blacksad," Felicia said.

"Better make sure no one will believe anything he says," Tigra said as Cheetah poured the liquid contents of the barrel on Blacksad.

"Hey!" Blacksad shouted as high grade rum is poured onto his face and clothes. Licking the liquid Blacksad recognized it as rum. "Rum?"

"That's right we can't just kill you off, so we're making sure that no one will be believing you telling them you saw us preforming real magic. Who will believe a drunk?" Cheethara said as she takes out some knock out powder and dumps it onto his face.

Next day -

Blacksad woke up in a prison cell still in his rum soaked clothes. A cop saw him awake and went off for something. Blacksad wondered how he ended up in jail when Feral not looking happy walk into view.

"Pray tell why did my officers found you ass out in your car, soaked in rum?" Feral ask who couldn't help but be somewhat amused at what happen to Blacksad.

"Followed Shimmer and was caught and they decided to make sure that anything I say wouldn't be believed," Blacksad said rubbing the bridge of his nose feeling the hangover from the rum.

"Try me," Feral said.

"I followed her and some of her pride to a pig farm where I saw them preform a ritual using four male bodies. They were there with a group of other people and they displayed being able to leave claw marks on stone, walk up trees and one of them stick her face into fire and wasn't harm. Then Shimmer preform a ritual and the circle glowed red and the bodies just broke away like sandcastles. And a man appeared in the circle and talk with Shimmer. Then some of the pride members found me, poured rum all over me and knock me out with something else, telling me that way no one would ever believe me. They didn't want to kill me so they just made sure I wouldn't be believed," Blacksad explains.

"Believe you I don't," Feral said shaking his head. "While I do think you saw something. You being drunk doesn't make what you saw believable."

"Look even if I didn't see what I saw thanks to them pouring all that rum on me, they know who I am now. One of them took my wallet," Blacksad said.

"Then you're exposed now," Feral said.

"They might even took a photo of me while I was out," Blacksad said.

"I make the call and see what will happen next. As for you some time here in the drunk tank should do you some good," Feral said taking his leave.

Out in the hallway he sees that Dominic "Dom" Drago is waiting for him. He's a sharp-eyed, suave member of the Treasury Department who has been called in to look into the smuggling. He's been listening in, he's been looking into Shimmer and her pride.

"Drugging and soaking him with rum. Smart," Dominic said walking with him.

"That's the only thing I believe. If they had killed him, I would have checked the manor for anything," Feral said.

"Better send some men to the pig farm and see if they can find anything," Dominic said.

"Plan to but there be little evidence to link Shimmer with what happen to Blacksad," Feral said.

"She's too good and we have to be careful how we do things with her. She's rich and has the right connections," Dominic said.

"Well this isn't Europe," Feral said.

"True but the backlash of a raid on her manor and turning up nothing will be big. She has made friends in Washington and this will not look good for my bosses," Dominic said.

"Prohibition is nothing but a huge mistake, more cats are drinking than not now," Feral said. (4)

"That, I agree with," Dominic said.

With them knowing who he is now, Blacksad has been keeping himself out of sight of the pride members of Shimmer. Currently he’s spying on the former museum turned home, making notes and taking photos of the people coming and going from the building. He’s been noting down the members of the pride, which the number has been increasing.

In the room of the building close to the museum that he’s been using to spy on Shimmer and her pride, he has photos and names of the members. They don’t use house staff and all take turns doing housework around the museum but they do have gardeners to take care of the yard work. He made notes on what role the pride members do around the manor and anything else he spots them doing.

Tigress, does a lot of driving around the city. Going to the different businesses that Shimmer owns.

Bringing the total number of pride members to 50 in Shimmer’s pride. There are larger prides but those have a king or kings or are more like a large family group. Shimmer’s pride are all sexually active with each other and all are clearly in love with Shimmer. He has seen them making out with each other enough to see that’s the case.

Blacksad looks behind him as Dominic "Dom" Drago a Treasury agent enters the room.

“Anything new?” Dominic ask.

“Nope nothing, all I have seen from the front is the pride members leaving to handle the businesses they own and bringing back boxes of the scale models that Shimmer is into,” Blacksad said.

Dominic walks over to the map of the layout of the manor, both outside and inside. They had mapped out the place thanks to interviewing the architect and the workers who worked on the manor. The manor has a very large basement that use to be the storage for the museum, much of the old rooms have been changed but the clock tower is still working but the bell have been removed as the pride didn’t want to have the loud ringing.

“The windows on the bottom all have iron bars, the outdoor staircase to the second floor is fenced off. The staircase in the back has been replaced with one that can be raised up, preventing anyone from getting on the roof by the old courtyard in the back. The dock in the back has been fenced off, which all the walled off, with the gates all being solid to prevent anyone from getting a look at what’s happen on the grounds,” Dominic said.

“Well seeing how many of the pride members have very voluptuous bodies and are all beauties. It’s not that surprising that they don’t want to have peeping Toms,” Blacksad said.

“They are very open with their affection with each other,” Dominic said.

“That’s putting it mildly,” Blacksad said.

“It’s normal enough for prides that are all females to be sexual active with each other and even after a king joins,” Dominic said. (1)

“True but how are all of them are all beauties like that? I have been to many red light districts and never seen so many women built like that,” Blacksad said.

“Yes, I have picked up on that lead of the families of two of the pride members that could be found, Calico "Callie" Briggs and Felicia Hardy. Ms Hardy’s parents are surprised at how much their daughter has grown since she left home. And Ms Briggs were surprised how young she looks now and how she has grown. The agents compared photos that their families have of what they look before and the change is very noticeable. Hardy is still young but for Briggs, her parents say she looks like she’s in her 20’s again and they wonder how she gotten such a figure in such a short time. The agent also talked with her old friends and coworkers and they were surprised as well of how much she has changed,” Dominic said.

The city of St. Louis has seen many things over the years but the arrival of the noblewomen of the house of Dazzlings in a rigged airship still took people by surprise. The Hindenburg disaster still fresh on people’s minds, which cause the decline of airship travel. The airship is the refitted Zeppelin LZ 80 (L-35) was a R-class Great War zeppelin. Was decommissioned in September 1918 and was given to the Dazzlings as part of the war reparations. Without the great weight of the military weapons and the room that it freed up, the normal crew limit of 17 to 19 has been greatly expanded, allowing the Dazzlings and their pride, plus crew to all fit in the airship.

The airship has been making stops at cities to resupply after crossing the Atlantic. With the Dazzlings meeting some people in the cities they stop at before continuing their journey to St. Louis where after landing in Scott Field, where they were driven to the reason why they left Kingdom of Hungary, Sunset Shimmer. The Dazzlings pride are currently staying in the manor with all sorts of rumors flying around of the reason why they’re here.

Blacksad looks at the board with photos of the Dazzlings, Adagio, Aria, and Sonata, the current heads of the house and the rulers of Valdelobos. Which is home of the Siren Bank the oldest and most stable financial institution in the world, which the Dazzlings house has owned for centuries. The bank loans to countries and invest in others, with the bank being very trusted thanks to how stable the bank is in managing the money that is put in. Other banks are more powerful but the Siren bank being the oldest is seen as the most stable. The bank is also known for their legendarily secretive bank accounts, which is a tax haven for many with ill-gotten gains. They’re also very dangerous as they have long since made it known that they don’t care who rules what country, as long as the debt owes to them can be paid back is all that they care about, if someone can’t they turn to someone who can to replace the one who owes them the money. Nowadays they can’t back a warlord or another kingdom to take over a kingdom anymore, but the countries of Europe know better than to cross the Siren Bank. (1)

With the investigation now walking on eggshells, he and Dominic have to be more careful. The Dazzlings have lots of political power and lots of strings that they can pull. With the higher ups being told by their bosses not to bother the Dazzlings. They’re just way too powerful and are just visitors to the country, and must be treated like any other head of state visiting the country.

Blacksad looks at the photos of the Dazzlings pride, which the 3 heads of the house share. As unlike the Shimmer pride they do have a king. A young pale furred man name Izak who according to news clippings came from an abandoned village in Russia where he was found as he was trying to make it south, where one of the Dazzlings found him. He managed to somehow make all 3 Dazzlings to fall for him and they made him their king. While he is the king of the pride, it’s clear that the 3 queens are in charge.

Then there are the crew of the zeppelin some of who are apart of the pride.

“Have you two found out anything?” Feral ask walking into the room being used by Blacksad and Dominic in the police department.

“No one knows, I ask and besides some of the workers claiming to see some of the moving on their own, nothing,” Blacksad said.

“Moving?” Dominic ask.

“Some of the workers claim to see some moving at night or when one of Shimmer’s girls are there. I have been in the warehouses and it’s creepy with all of those statues all staring at you,” Blacksad said.

“I also found something of interest, Shimmer has finally made deals with farms to buy eggs and turnips. Where she’s been getting them before seems to be drying up,” Dominic said.

“She’s preparing for something and we just can’t see it,” Feral said.

“Well there is her aiding the Russian royal family in reclaiming their country,” Blacksad said.

“She made that clear that she sided with them but all of the smuggling she’s been doing. If she’s smuggling supplies for the Russian royal family why here?” Feral said thinking about it. “Wait… she might be smuggling across the states so that the supplies end up in the Pacific side of Russia.”

“Give the royal faction the supplies they need to take the eastern part of Russia from the Soviet faction and splitting the country in two,” Dominic said seeing how that could work.

“Which explains the reason why the Dazzlings have so many of their top military commanders with them, pride members or not,” Feral said looking at the photos of the Dazzlings pride members who are military commanders.

“You know them?” Blacksad ask.

“When I was over there, I met with Jess and the Green Earth army unit. She was a young commander back then and her unit destroyed mine,” Feral said.

“She’s the one?” Blacksad ask.

“Don’t be fooled by her being a woman commander. The idiot who was leading my unit did that and I’m one of the few who survived the bombing she did with her cannons. The army of the Valdelobos region of Hungary came from the 27th Roman Legion and maintained the ranking system, training, and discipline for centuries. The soldiers of Hungary are trained there and are the reason why they were so tough to fight during the war. Even after the Austria-Hungary empire broke apart, the soldiers are still viewed as the best in the world. And is the reason why women are being allowed into the military now. “One of the past Dazzlings visited Japan before they closed themselves off and according to the story brought back a village worth of Japanese back home. I visited the villages where they settled and it’s like those Chinese towns in the west, but Japanese after the war was over and I was station there,” Feral said.

“Oh,” Blacksad said. “Is it true that they have wild elephants there?”

“Yes there are elephants in the forest and are in closed with a stone wall that is heavily protected by soldiers at all times. The entire region has all sorts of things that the past head of the Dazzlings house took back with them when they traveled around. There is no other place like it, there are still working Roman buildings, aqueducts, and baths while having buildings built in Japanese style right next to it and other things,” Feral said.

“But the main question is what connects the Dazzlings house to Sunset Shimmer. There is so little information about her past and thanks to the war might have been destroyed. Too well educated and how she’s been able to handle herself with the nobles of Europe to be a con artist. And how she’s aiding the Russian royal family, the Dazzlings house has many connections with the other royal houses. Which the state department is worried about, how the old military equipment ending up in the hands of the royal faction in the war with the Soviet forces, they don’t want the Soviets think the US is helping the royal faction. The last thing we want is to be dragged into a war,” Dominic said.

Loud knocking on the door got their attention as the voice of Lieutenant Steel came from the other side.

Flexing her new wings Sunset in her alicorn form could feel the power she gained. So powerful that she was able to teleport all the way to Canterlot inside her old room. She looks at the room that was kept just like she left it, all those years ago. Sunset felt something as she saw that her mother kept it the same even after she left, but brush it off. If she really did cared of her at all. She would had contacted her with the journal, and that she wouldn’t had given the element of magic to a new student she replaced her with.

“How do your new forms feel?” Sunset said looking at her pride members who unlike her for some reason gain cat forms from myth and legends in their world.

Some like Tigress gain the form of a manticore, a large cat who has a scorpion tail.

Some like Callie gain the form of a sphinx, a winged cat.

Some like Selina gain the form of a nekomata, a magical cat.

“Take some getting use to,” Karulau said playing with her new scorpion tail.

“I was turn into a cat in your world but this is strange that you all become cats of myths and legends of your world,” Sunset said.

“Maybe because of the magic potions we been using?” Starfire suggested trying to fly with her new wings.

“I wonder,” Sunset said as she used her now stronger magic to transform herself back to her cat form. The results is a mix of the large body of a manticore and tail, the wings of a sphinx and the magic of a nekomata.

“Wow!” Katt said staring at her queen’s new body.

“Alright, I’ll teleport the mirror to the caverns under the castle and we can setup the invasion force,” Sunset said to her pride.

“We only have a few days before the portal closes again,” Adagio said as she and her sisters are back to their aqua dragon forms.

“And for me to figure out how to keep the portal open,” Sunset adds.

New figures came out of the mirror carrying crates of weapons and vehicles, all having been made made small thanks to a shrinking spell cast on them. Allowing Sunset to smuggle them all pass customs without anyone thinking that they’re anything but the real thing. The ones carrying the crates are the statues of women that she had made for her, all of them golems that only needed to be activated to bring to life.

Placing the crates of guns and equipment on the ground, Sunset undid the shrinking spell returning them back to full size.

“Everyone knows what to do right?” Sunset ask and got nods and yes in response.

Kitty stuck her head out of the mirror with a look of panic on her face.

Benson Ceramic Factory -

The one of the warehouses of the factory is on fire, causing alarm and a crowd to form around the factory. The crowd are watching in horror as the pieces of Warren T. Cat, the ringleader of the Mott Street Maulers is toss into the air as he and what’s left of his gang were surrounded and torn to pieces. The other members of the gang are torn to pieces and littered the warehouses. (4)

The Mott Street Maulers were sent to wreck the statues by the Manges after the deal with Sweet went through. There are 5 warehouses on the site all full of the statues of women that seem to just gathering dust. Which is why Warren called in 28 members of the gang to do the smashing, a quick smash job after the factory closed down for the night and leave before anyone knew what’s happening.

Expect that members of the Shimmer pride were there in the first warehouse setting up for a load of statues to be shipped out. The ones who were in the warehouse with the statues and the 2 trucks were Veronica, Sawyer, Rushuna Tendo and Rally Vincent. They had brought all the golems to life testing that all of them worked and had them load themselves inside the truck till it was full. They drove back to the manor but did left Minnie May Hopkins and Becky Farrah to deal with the paperwork and the night watchman in the main office.

Warren T. Cat had his men go to the other warehouses and start smashing the statues while he and 4 of the gang stayed with him to keep watch. He was under orders not to be seen and would only get paid when the job is completed. He figured that smashing most of the statues would work and he would still get paid. That’s when the scream began.

The golems were all activated and when the gang members started to smash them, they went on defense mode. One of the gang members seeing the statues coming to life panic and set the warehouse on fire. Which caused the golems to straight out kill him and the others. The blaze and the screams got the attention of the neighborhood that factory is built on, giving the crowd show as living statues of women are killing members of the Mott Street Maulers, the the blazing fire of one of the warehouses lighting up the night.

The streets of St. Louis west side of the city is in a panic as an army is marching through the streets. Statues of women are marching down the street by the hundreds, all coming from the Benson Ceramic Factory where they were made. Thanks to it being nighttime the people on the streets weren’t as crowded as they would had been during the daytime.

From the buildings and side streets people watched as the statues of women march down the street heading for the river. Watching Asa from his office window saw the parade of golems, which Mordecai informed him to what they are from the old stories. From the Lackadaisy, the owner Mitzi May and her workers and the customers all gathered around the radio listening in on what’s happening up above them.

The sights attracted many reporters who are taking pictures or filming the event with cameras but only one radio station is broadcasting live from the scene. That being the portable radio station Kats Eye News driving in front of the army of statues leading them. Built on a one-ton truck chassis that has a self-contained and battery operated, with 100 watt transmitter, generator, portable 53 foot telescoping antenna masts. Glass sides and lighted, including spotlights on the antenna masts. The audio control panel provided for the use of three microphones with 300 foot extension cables, allowing the truck to be parked outside of auditoriums to broadcast live concerts and events. (1)

Behind the wheel is Jonny K. the driver and the repair man for the radio equipment. The reporter Ann Gora broadcasting to the radios of the city that’s being picked up by other radio stations, who has listeners glued to their radios as she described the scene happening in front of her. The broadcast is being picked up by other radio stations and spreading across the country as the news spread.

They had come back to the city after driving around in the parts of the state where there weren’t any radio stations when they saw the fire. Gora had Jonny drive over so that she could report on the fire, where they saw the statues moving and killing people at the burning warehouses. Gora began broadcasting the news of killer statues when Minnie May Hopkins and Becky Farrah members of the Shimmer pride came out and stop the rampage. Where they spotted the radio station on wheels and got the two radio workers to drive them to the museum with the statues following them.

“The statues are golems just like the one from that old story. Yes magic is real and yes it can be learned, but it’s not like being able to just open a book and reading a spell and it happens. You have to actually know how it works and be able to understand what’s written for you to be able to use magic. Like how anyone can put a radio or a car together if they have the parts and instructions in how to do it, if they can read that is. But looking at the blueprints for a radio or a car and having to make them yourself, knowing the right king of copper wire to use and how much, unless you been educated in engineering or have first hand learning, there is no way anyone can just make a radio or a car by the blueprints alone. Magic works like that where you have to know how a body works before you can even learn healing magic,” Becky explains to Gora.

Becky is riding with Gora and Minnie is riding shotgun. Becky seeing that there’s no hiding what’s happening is explaining things to help calm things down.

“Healing magic? Like Jesus?” Gora ask.

“Yes but unlike in the stories which are thousands of years old and exaggerated, healing magic has limits. Namely you can’t bring someone back to life who has been dead for a long time. Magic that brings people back to life is more like mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, where if someone stops breathing you put your mouth on theirs and blow air in and use your hands to pump down on their chest to get them to breath again. Healing magic can’t bring the dead back to life, especially when the body is already gone cold, like relighting a dying fire, you can do it but once the fire is out, it's out,” Becky said.

“Why make these golems?” Gora ask.

“For the invasion of Equestria,” Becky said.

“What?” Gora ask.

“Sunset Shimmer is really a magical princess from another world who ended up here thanks to a magic mirror that open a doorway to this world. And she’s been planning and preparing for this for years. But thanks to those men deciding to smash the golems for some reason and setting fire to the warehouse, we can’t do this quietly and out of sight now,” Becky said.

“A magical princess?” Gora ask.

“Yes a magical princess who was abandon to die by her mother the ruler of the kingdom of Equestria. So she spent years, gathering people to her side, money, and resources to stage a coup on her mother and take her birthright,” Becky said.

“That’s unbelievable,” Gora said completely shocked.

“So are an army of golems that are right behind us,” Becky said.

“Point taken,” Gora said.

“One thing I learned since joining Sunset’s pride, forget everything you think you know and learned. Something’s just don’t make sense,” Becky said.

The museum-

Stepping out of the police car Feral walk up to the gate of the museum turned into a manor. With that mobile radio station broadcasting what’s happening several police are already present around the manor. He looks down the street to see said mobile radio station coming up the street with the army of golems right behind.

“So what do we do? What are our riders?” one of the officers ask unsure what to do.

“No word from up top, so I’m in charge,” Feral said staring at the incoming army.

“They won’t attack unless attack,” Sunset said as walks out of the front gate of her manor.

She is flanked by 4 of the golems that were delivered earlier. Each of them is armed with a Browning 1917 .30 caliber machine gun, and carrying the belt fed ammo box on their backs. The police officers who had used the machine guns during the war knew how heavy and unwieldy they are to use if not mounted on something. No one could fire one of those guns by carrying them for long anyways, let alone carry the weight of the ammo on their backs. (2)

“Ms. Shimmer,” Feral said eyeing her and her heavily armed golems. He knows from first hand experience that those heavy machine guns will tear him and his me apart even if they hide behind their cars.

“This is way above your pay grade, as long as your men don’t do anything to harm me or my pride or try to stop them. The golems won’t attack. And if any of your men are foolish enough to try, the golems will just tear you all to pieces like the men who tried to smash them,” Shimmer said.

“Now listen here,” Feral said but stop when Dominic came out of the car he came with Blacksad, with his hand on his shoulder.

“Enough Feral, this is a federal matter now,” Dominic said.

“No matter, I’ll be out of this city and retaking my throne,” Sunset said.

The radio truck pulled up and the golems stared at their mistress standing ready for orders. A bright light came from behind the museum lighting up the sky, as a large glowing mirror like thing appeared.

“Ms. Gora seeing how you are already reporting and there be lots of questions later. Why don’t you and your driver come along and report on my takeover, as long as the portal is open radios work,” Sunset said.

“You heard her Jonny,” Gora said.

“I hope you know what you’re doing Ann,” Jonny said as Minnie told him where to go.

“Follow the truck to the back gate at the docks the portal is open there,” Sunset said to the golems who followed her orders.

“All this time was for opening a door to your world?” Blacksad ask as all the things he’s been seeing since he accepted this job was starting to finally make sense.

“Yes, all of my operations have been to smuggle in the surplus weapons and equipment leftover from the war and to help some people I have made alliances with. After all I would think the American government would want to have good relations with a nation who have the knowledge of the lost art of magic and resources that could be traded with for things on this side. Or some people here could make things harder and have the blame place on them for any bad relations,” Sunset said looking at both Feral and Dominic.

“She’s right,” Feral said as this, all of this is just too much for him and he better just let others higher in power handle it.

“Backroom deal,” Dominic said knowing that the higher ups will be handling it and he doesn’t need to make a mess of things.

“So what’s with all the eggs and turnips you been smuggling?” Blacksad ask as that’s been bugging him.

“Oh that, the eggs are from Phanes the Greek god of eggs by a magic barrel that never runs out of eggs and the turnips are from Akras the Finnish god of turnips by a never ending sack of turnips. Found them and used them to open a chain of fast food restaurants like the ones back in my world,” Sunset explains.

“Wait gods are real?” Blacksad ask.

“Of course they are, it’s just that thanks to the Abrahamic Religions views on anything magic being the work of the devil. No one has been able to contact them for years. As praying doesn’t work, it be you talking to someone who is on the other side of the world without a telephone or a telegraph. The church leaders made sure of that, the churches and temples are the places where you’re suppose to pray to have them heard but without the priests being able to use magic to make a connection, it’s the same as using a telephone that isn’t connected to anything,” Sunset said shocking everyone.

“If the leaders of the different religions know that only by using magic you can talk with god, why would they stop people from using magic?” Jonny ask who hasn’t move the truck yet.

“So that people have no choice but listen to them on how to live their lives and be under their control. The Bible is just a bunch of exaggerations of what happen, taking credit from other gods and lies. And before anyone says anything the Bible being lies also means that every single act of evil that god ever did, is all made up and that god isn’t cruel and all the evil acts in the Bible are just made up. Or you just double down on your beliefs and think that the god of your faith is that cruel and evil,” Sunset said.

Everyone who heard were left shock and others opened mouthed at what she just said.

“To open the portal I summon some gods to provide the power to do it. And there are a few who personal knows and unlike anyone else on this moral world has actually talk with said god of the Bible and all the other faiths that worships to the same god but fights to the death over how to worship said god, said by the leaders of said faiths who have never once talked with said god. Telling their faithful what to think and how to behave by their standards and only their own as they don't talk for anyone but themselves and not the god their faith is base on. Who happens to be there after the other gods I summoned invaded said god to the party,” Sunset said walking away.

Backyard of the Museum -

Tables were set and dishes laid out with food and bottles of alcohol drinks all from Equestria, taken from the royal kitchen of Canterlot Castle has been laid out. At the tables are a bunch of people all dressed in outfits of different time periods and cultures. Which all the police and other watchers on saw as they walk into the backyard, as an army of golems all matched into the portal.

"Most of them are gods of alcohol that, I summon and they're providing power to the portal to keep it open and let in so many in at once," Sunset said.

"All of them are gods of alcohol?" Dominic asked.

"Prohibition has done nothing but got more people to drink and cause crime to spike because of it. But it did allow me to so easily smuggle in military equipment, thanks to how you government agents all are focus on the looking for alcohol instead of really important stuff. Just because a bunch of self-righteous, and holy than anyone else, think they know what's best for everyone else," Sunset explains.

"You tell them sister," a woman dress in a blue robe who is chugging down a mug of beer shouted.

"Gods need people to believe in them or people to maintain their powers. Worship are the food of the gods to keep them gods of any worth. A god who has lost worship and isn't remembered anymore has to feed off of what they're gods of. Like a god of death who is no longer worship can still feed off of deaths. In the case of Cloacina and Sterquilinus, people all over the world still use sewers and use manure to fertilize farmland. And as I was saying prohibition has gotten more people to drink, the whole forbidden fruit thing, and by offering the alcohol from my world and using the old rituals that the modern faiths have outlawed called out and summon them for a party," Sunset explains.

"Yup and it's been a long time since anyone called and got us to the mortal realm. I wouldn't had come if it wasn't for just a party and help power a portal to another world and not something dumb like more wealth or getting a job," the woman in blue said. "I hate how my followers always think that, I'm prefect and flawless, it just made me have a big ego where, I couldn't see when I was wrong till it was too late to do anything. Which is why I abandon my followers as they just grew too dependent on me and expected me to do everything for them. Its the reason why the other gods also stop showing up long before the purge of magic, as they too just grew tried of their followers hold them to a standard that no one could ever live up to and just left or asking them to do every little thing for them that they can do for themselves."

"Who is that?" Gora ask.

"That's Yahweh the goddess of the Abrahamic Religions in all of their forms, as in Christians, Jews, Muslims and all that are created from those old stories," Sunset said causing everyone to stare at the goddess.

"Are you really the god of the Bible?" Gora ask.

The woman glowed and suddenly grew into a giantess, and kept growing till she filled the entire sky as she became as big as the planet itself. Around her winged figures appeared flying around her and the sky all over the planet glowed in a golden light. And a bear riding a bike appeared with a banner flying behind the bike, reading 'It's really her!' on it. Then she began shrinking down to human size and once again stood in front of Blacksad, with what's happening playing out in the sky around the world for all to see. (3)

"Well, I'm convince," Jonny said.

"I love this!" Cloacina said watching. "I just love it when people finally meet their god who they worship and put their blind faith into the belief that is completely false and made of nothing but lies. Seeing how you all been praying to a guy that the leaders of the belief all tell them that she's a guy and not a woman."

"It's the reason why the leaders are all men. So that they can claim that as men, they're closer to a male god than a female goddess, and are the ones who are the only ones who can talk to me. Which none of the church leaders have ever once talk to me and just use the blind belief for power, and wealth. Not to mention to allow them to get away with raping children as much as they want and the parents are too blind with their faith to ever believe that the priest of their faith could ever do that to their children," Yahweh said.

"What!" Feral shouted out.

"Father Bealy of the church your family goes to, has been for years sexually abusing the children under his care, the boys. Which the church leaders use their power to hide. If you actually want to have a good afterlife you better arrest him. As I would like him to suffer for using a faith based around me to hide behind. You Bealy will never see heaven and be working in the nightmare factories of hell till you finally earn enough to be killed for good," Yahweh said.

"Killed for good?" Gora ask.

"Hell is a slum right next to the dump for all the other afterlives, where there is scarcity like food which people don’t need to live but still feel the effects of starving, disease and death. Which is just dying and coming back to life later. And death is painful, but for the ones that are quick. Hell factories are where people in hell work to earn their way to another life, think of the worst jobs and work environments and that’s what people in hell have to deal with to earn a new life, which with the slave wages takes centuries, depending on what they’re there for. Reincarnation is real where people can get another chance of life or they can just choose to end it for good and just be dead. For those in hell however, once they earned a new life, everything about them is erased so that it’s a new person who is reborn or just be dead," Yahweh explains.

"Didn't you give everything an immortal soul?" Blacksad ask.

"Being immortal doesn't mean unkillable or it can't be destroyed. It just means something can't die from old age and that's it. And I wasn't the one who gave everything a soul and I'm not the creator," Yahweh said.

"But the Bible," Gora said but was cut off by Yahweh with a flash of light causing her to stop.

"This is what happens when people who let others think for them and what some old book that, I have been using as toilet paper to wipe my butt with, keeps on giving me credit for everything. A good harvest, it's because of me. A storm that cause a flood, that's me. People who are sick or need treatment and because the people only pray for me to heal them, doing nothing else and they died because of lack of treatment, that's me as well. I hate you idiots keep on thinking that anything that happens good or bad is because of me," Yahweh explains before giving off a laugh. "If you idiots think that everything in the Bible is real and all the evil things that it says I did that makes me more like the devil then the devil. I'll spell it out to you idiots who are so blind in following a faith that allows people who sexually abuse your children. That's the reason why I don't show myself to anyone anymore. As some guy always use anything I say to gain power and wealth for themselves. I so love dangling false hope to those people that everything is going to be ok, right before I kick them to hell. And seeing how much you my followers are idiots and will even after this will double down on your belief that you believe in more than me the goddess that your faith is centered around. I can keep on doing nothing and you all will still worship me and give me credit for nothing at all. What's the point when my followers will always assign whatever happens good or bad on me."

Everyone who heard their goddess was left speechless as their goddess just told them she will never help them or answer their prays. She isn't anything like they were told to believe that she is or that instead of being a man she's a woman.

“You have no idea how much I resented you my followers as you all just keep on putting your ideals onto me and expecting me to be what you think I should be. Taking liberties with what happen and making it into something else, saying that I can grant life back to the dead. Which while, I can do that, I have never done. And those who die and came back. That's near death experience, where you almost died till someone healed you enough to bring you back. Like a dying fire, being given more fuel to burn. Completely different from bringing back someone who has been dead for a long time. But the leaders of the faiths that has nothing of my will backing them, viewing themselves as me and hiding behind me when things don't go their way as the dirty cowards as they are, say otherwise that you idiots believe in without any proof at all. Believing in values that, I don't believe in," Yahweh said.

"You don't?" one of the cops who followed asked.

"What did you really expect? That, I'm anything like what those leaders of those religions that only use me as its figurehead, tell you what I'm like? This is me. I like having sex now and than, with men and women, I like chugging down a cold one, I say FUCK YOU!" she said causing everyone to be shocked and many children to learn a new word. "This is like meeting your hero for the first time where you only had stories. And instead of the person you have built up in your head, that only exist in your head, they're nothing like what you thought they would be like. Same thing and I don't care for any of you who pray to me, as too many use me to say killing or being assholes to others is because of my will. FUCK YOU ALL. You are all a disappointment. Would be ok if only if, you people actually follow what you say you are who believe in me. I wouldn't have a problem if that was the case, yes some people are good because of those made up faiths, but so many others just use it to make themselves feel better about themselves and to shield them from responsibility for their own actions. And that means you, murdering that man because he's not your race."

Yahweh stared at one of the cops.

"Is this true Freddy?" Feral ask glaring at the man.

"Of course its not," officer Freddy said.

"He has the man's pocket watch on him, in his left pocket on his uniform, that is silver and has a rose on the cover and a dent on the left side and on the inside is engraved G.H. Standing for Gray Hare who was found beaten to death on the 13th of last month," Yahweh said causing Freddy to freeze.

Feral reach into Freddy's pocket and pulled out the very watch that Yahweh had described.

"You're under arrest," Feral growled, humiliated by having this displayed in the sky for all to see. He personally cuffed Freddy and had two of the other cops to escort him to a car.

"As entertaining as all of this is. I have a kingdom to takeover," Sunset said having been watching the scene before her and her golems marching into the portal.

"You really think that army be able to takeover your kingdom?" Gora ask.

"Too late for that," Sunset said as she talked to Bes who nodded and made the portal clear showing the other side.

On the other side is a castle city built on the side of the mountain where the castle sits, and on the bottom is the lower city. Smoke is rising from the city as the golems marched into the city, after grabbing a weapon and equipment from the many open weapon crates. A war airship is is connected to the castle by steel cables where golems are sliding down from the airship. Rows of war machines leftover from the great war have encircled the city, with golems holding the surrendering guards as prisoners of war.

"It's not an invasion, it's a victory," Sunset said as she steps through the portal and before everyone watching, gain the large body of a manticore and tail, the wings of a sphinx and the glowing eyes of a nekomata from the legends.

News came to the Crystal Empire quickly, Canterlot the capital of Equestria has been conquered by an invading force. Thanks to Luna who has been maintaining a barrier around the castle, as the invading army used cannons both large and handheld and war machines that no one on Equestria has ever seen before. They even somehow made a massive fortress appear right outside of the city that is armed with cannons that are pelting the barrier.

"I don't know how much longer, the unicorn mages can maintain the barrier," Blueblood said to Celestia by the magic journal he's using to communicate to Celestia, which he's writing while talking. "Comeback quickly."

"The lower city is overrun," Raven Inkwell shouted running into the throne room.

"How the gate is magical strengthen," Blue Blood said putting all of his power into holding up the barrier over the upper city. He joined in on the effort the other unicorns are doing to keep the barrier up.

"The gates were open from the inside," Raven said.

"In the sky!" a royal guard shouted pointing to the window.

In the sky -

From the custom built airship modeled after the Dazzlings in their dragon forms once again breath the air of Equestria as they and their pride lead the invasion. The airship is a L30 that has been improved on the design, using magic of flying carpets for the balloon covering which allowed it to carry more bombs and ammo for the 20mm autocannons, 2 for each side of the front and rear gondolas. There are also four maxim machine guns, two on the front and back of the airship on top, and two for the two side gondolas that also house the propellers.

The airship is protected by 4 C-Class airships, while 4 more are launching their attacks on the castle. The smaller airships are crewed by golems, a pilot, a forward gunner operating a 76mm breech-loading cannon, a rear gunner operating a 20mm Autocannon, and a top gunner operating a QF 1 AA.

The golems are armed with either a Pieper Revolving Carbine, Browning 1917 .30 caliber machine guns, or maxim MG08 machine guns, while carrying a box of ammo to their backs. Thanks to the fact that they being golems are super strong. Which is why they are able to handle using the Mauser 1918 T-Gewehr as a normal rifle. They're also either carrying a Webley-Fosbery automatic revolver or a M1916 as side arms.

Under the command of their military pride members the golems have already overran the lower city after the units already in the city open the gates for them. With the military vehicles and using the tanks to destroy buildings here and there and wounding a few guards, the guard ponies quickly gave up or ran away. Leaving only the upper city to take.

"The ponies haven't changed a since we last were here," Adagio said.

"I had hope for some fun but, at this rate we'll take the city before Sunset comes over," Aria said.

"This is way too easy," Sonata said watching the golems firing the 7.7 cm Feldkanone 96 neuer Art cannons they brought with them at the barrier. The barrier that magic users can bring up need focus and concentration to be used, and strong enough attacks will break it. Which would take days with spells, black powder cannons, catapults and arrows for someone of princess Luna's level. But she never had to deal with advance weapons from Earth.

A heavy shell from the Ordnance BL 9.2-inch howitzer a heavy siege howitzer broke down the barrier and several other attacks struck the castle. Firing grappling hooks from harpoon guns, the airship, became stationary to the castle and golems began sliding down onto the castle roof tops. A few shots from their guns handled the guards with them running and giving up. (1)

Inside the Throne Room -

The door to the throne room has been barricaded with anything the guards in the room could brace up against the door. They had closed the door letting in the castle staff and other ponies before they saw the enemy soldiers and closed the doors. That's been a couple of hours now, and the enemy soldiers haven't tried to enter the room.

"What do we do?" Blue Blood ask Raven Inkwell as they stood awaiting for the enemy soldiers to burst into the room.

"Hope that the princesses and the Elements get here," Raven said keeping a brave face.

"Isn't there a secret passage way?" Blue Blood ask.

"No, not that I know of, the princess never told me of anyway out," Raven said looking out the window seeing the city outside has completely been taken over.

Right behind the throne that Celestia sits on the wall open revealing a large red furred catwoman standing behind it. She has a long red mane with a yellow stripe on it, that reminded Blue Blood of Sunset Shimmer. She also has a manticore tail, the wings of a sphinx and the glowing eyes. She wore a grey military uniform, armed with a sword and a one of those small hand cannons. And the woman wore the crown of magic.

The catwoman walk around the throne and sat down on it, behind her came several of the golems who spread themselves out around her in a row, all of them carrying those hand held cannons.

"I'm surprise to see you here, Bluey," the catwoman said.

"That voice," Blue Blood said staring at the catwoman. "Sunset?"

"Yes, its me Bluey. Thanks to being abandon to die in the other world through the mirror, I have gone through some changes," Sunset said.

“But the princess said that you were lost,” Raven said.

"Blue who is she?" a young guard ask.

"Oh you, don't know? No one told you about me, well let me introduce myself to you all who weren’t around back then. I'm Sunset Shimmer, the daughter of your princess Celestia," Sunset said shocking everyone.

"What?" Raven asks.

"You're her daughter?" Blue ask.

"I sneaked into her room enough to read her private journals and learned about her having me after a wild night. She hid me so that her image wouldn't be ruined, but kept me around as her student. And as I said before, she abandon me to die in the other world, never even writing to me after I ask her to help me. So, I decided to build up an army and equipment them with the advance weapons of Earth and take what's my birth right," Sunset said.

"And you're a cat now?" Blue ask.

"The people on that world are all cats, which the magic mirror transformed me into and while, I was there became the head of my own pride. Like the herds around here," Sunset said waving her hand.

From the windows, bursting into the room came more golems followed by more catwomen and 3 sirens that Raven remembers reading about.

"The Dazzlings?" Raven asked remembering how the princesses mentor and the other pillars had banished them.

"Yes, we're back and here to help Sunset," Adagio said.

"Bluey just surrender now, seeing how the guards as before when I was here, are completely useless. Most of them just surrendered after a display of force, or or run away hiding behind something. Like guard Dirty Coward over there, hiding behind the cook," Sunset said recognizing one of the guards. "And he's still a great example of the guards who are just for show and when things get rough they pee their pants."

"I didn't pee!" Dirty Coward said.

Sunset responded by grabbing him by her telekinesis and slamming him into a wall and flung a display sword from it's stand. The sword slammed into the wall right between his legs. And in front of everyone in the throne room, yellow liquid ran down his legs.

"Same as always," Sunset said as she turns to her aunt. "When I was still living here, when I was captured by a timberwolf during an trip with mom. He left me when the timberwolf attack and I had to deal with it myself. And mom did nothing to punish him for leaving me to die. So, I went and made his life as a guard horrible. Giving him potions that gave him nightmarish diarrhea when he and all the guards were marching in a parade."

"That was you!" Dirty Coward asked.

"Yup," Sunset said as she took out her personal M1916 and fired several shots around his body causing him to scream.

"Enough," Raven said blocking Sunset's hold on Dirty Coward who is trying to get away from her.

"At least you're not like mom who does nothing," Sunset said remembering how Raven was the one who interacted with her the most, as she takes aim at Dirty Coward again who grabs the nearest thing to shield himself.

"Wow!" Sonata said staring at the scene.

"You're actually using a baby to shield yourself?" Aria asked.

Dirty Coward had grabbed a baby and using the baby to shield himself from Sunset's weapon. The baby is one of the castle staff's children who was with the other children in the daycare. Raven quickly sized the baby and painfully twisted the soon to be exguards arms. (2)

"Just to let you know, I'm also broadcasting all of this up over the city, for the big reveal of who has taken over. But this is better than I had hoped for. Showing that the royal guards of Canterlot are such cowards that they will even use a baby as a shield, if that means that they can live," Sunset said.

Raven looked outside the window and up into the air and indeed saw what's happening in the throne is being shown to the entire city.

"What now?" Raven ask, seeing that there is nothing she can do and Sunset’s time in the other world has changed her.

"Surrender the city and no further harm will be done. After that, I'll wait for mother to come home and we can settle matters. And you can look through mom's things in her room and you can see for yourself that what, I'm telling you is the truth," Sunset said.

"Very well, as prince of the royal family of Canterlot, I surrender the city to you, my cousin," Blue Blood said, not wanting anymore ponies being harmed.

“Mother either you’re watching or will be told what happens. You have two choices, you actually use your magic to teleport yourself here, or don’t and abandon your responsibilities just like you did to me. After all you never take responsibility instead of having others do it for you or kicking it down the road to do later and let a small problem grow bigger. And if you send anyone else to handle a problem you made yourself, you just shown that you are just as much as a coward as Dirty Coward,” Sunset said.

Crystal Empire -

Using a long range viewing spell by combining their magics together, Celestia could only stare at Sunset who is no longer a pony and came back for revenge. Celestia was hit by an avalanche of emotions, seeing the daughter she abandon having return and her harming her ponies in her takeover, and her revealing it out for all to see so that any chance of handling it quietly is now impossible.

“Well sister?” Luna spoke up looking at Celestia. “Do, I have a niece or not?”

“Yes, you do. A one night stand finally bare fruit. I found myself with child and I did keep it secret to avoid scandal. Now it’s all over and everyone knows,” Celestia said.

“Celestia why did you never told…. It makes so much sense now. Why Sunset was always trying to get me to tell her how I became an alicorn. She already knew she’s your daughter and she just wanted you to treat her as one,” Cadance said remembering how Celestia told her not to tell her.

“Why would you do that?” Twilight looking at her mentor in disbelief.

“I had to maintain my image,” Celestia said, causing Luna and Cadance to look at her with disgust.

“And now your mistake in not being a mother to your child has come back and has conquered Canterlot,” Cadance said.

“And why in the world would you allow a guard like that in the royal guard?” Luna asked.

“He’s from the noble class and it’s been used for years for nobles who want titles, they joined and the soldiers who actually do their jobs are sent elsewhere. It’s just a place for them to play soldier and have a military title. It’s the reason why they’re useless,” Shining Armor said.

“Didn’t you try to change it?” Twilight ask her brother.

“I submitted forms all the time to Celestia and she never did anything to change things. And I complained about Dirty Coward to her while I was still captain and she never did anything and now he showed that he’s more than willing to use a baby to protect himself,” Shining Armor said.

“I see that now,” Celestia said her head low.

“Too late, so many guards are just cowards who can present themselves well but when it comes down to them putting their lives on the line. They turn and ran,” Shining Armor said.

“There is much I will need to do after this,” Celestia said.

“And how are you going to handle Sunset? Using a long range teleportation spell, is both dangerous and will use much of our magic,” Luna said.

“Really? You can’t just pop over there?” Rainbow Dash ask.

“No, long range teleportation spells are dangerous because unlike short ones, if you’re not careful you can teleport to someplace that has something or someone already there. And it’s very draining,” Twilight explains.

“That’s why I need you to combine your magic with Luna and Cadance to teleport me back to Canterlot. I have no choice but to handle this myself,” Celestia said.

“Only because you either do it yourself or lose face,” Luna said.

Canterlot -

Celestia appeared in front of her throne with her daughter Sunset still sitting there. Around her are the captured castle staff and the guards, both Raven and Blue Blood are also with the group. Around her are the soldiers and the other cat women that came with Sunset.

“Mother,” Sunset said.

“Daughter,” Celestia said.

“I was really expecting that you to hide and send the one you replaced me with. I can see why you got her, unlike me she’s completely devoted to you and never questioned any of your commands to her. A prefect tool for you to use, as I actually questioned you and didn’t just blindly believe in you. Am I wrong,” Sunset said.

“No you’re not, I left you when you leap into the mirror. I no longer have to worry about you and replace you with someone, I can easily control,” Celestia said and her eyes widen as that’s not what she wanted to say.

“I place a truth spell on the throne room. As long as it’s up anyone inside its range can’t lie when answering a question to them,” Sunset said looking down at Celestia. “Can’t trust you at all. This is the only way to get you to tell the truth. Am I wrong?”

“No I would have twisted everything to suit my needs,” Celestia said unable to fight the spell.

“Did you actually ever cared about me at all?” Sunset ask.

“No, you were just a mistake, that I was glad to get rid of when I saw my chance to leave you in that other world,” Celestia said trying to fight and losing but remembers that such a spell works both ways. “What’s your plan to Equestria.”

“Take the throne, rule it and make changes to how things are. Learned a lot in the other world, what works and what don’t. Equestria is stagnant and has hardly changed under your rule. I’m going to change that so that unlike your government, mine can handle problems that show up and not having to place everything on the backs of a few ponies. Me and my pride will bring advancements to this world and raise the standard of life for everyone. By doing something that you take great amount of effort to avoid at all cost, actually putting effort into ruling. While you, mom spent all of her time just going to events and making yourself look good while doing as little as possible. I am going to handle things myself, or at least send people who can do the job and not sending someone young and have no real life experience and hoping for the best. Sending Twilight Sparkles out to deal with aunt Luna when she was Nightmare Moon, and expecting her to be able to handle it was just dumb. I would have explained things to her first and send her with people who could help her and not just hoping that she would meet the right people randomly. Did you just took a gambit,” Sunset answers. “Yes, Twilight was just too focus on studying and not making any friends, the ponies that she knew she just never got close to. I hoped that putting her in a situation where she needed to have others to help her would make fire forced friends,” Celestia explains.

“There’s more than that isn’t there?” Sunset asked.

“Her cutie mark matches the one on the tree of harmony as do the other elements. I had people search for the ones who had the same cutie marks and found that the other 5 all live in Ponyvile. So I sent Twilight there and hoped for the best,” Celestia said. (4)

“Hoping for the best, just like how you use to send me out to handle things by myself?” Sunset asked.

“No, I was trying to get rid of you. Sending you off on missions that I know there’s a good chance that you would die,” Celestia said.

“You’re more of a monster than, I thought. Don’t you feel any shame or guilt?” Sunset asked.

“Only that I was caught and can’t hide it,” Celestia said.

Celestia gave a yelp of pain as she was struck by a dart on her leg. Looking at where it came from, Celesita saw a blue furred mature catwoman who is glaring at her. Celestia looks at the dart and to her horror the flesh around the wound is turning to stone.

“Mom, meet Celestia who took me in after you abandon me, and raised me as her own kitten. She unlike you, actually put effort into being there for me, and is the only family besides my pride, I need,” Sunset said.

“What’s happening?” Celesita asked as more of her body is turning to stone fast.

“She used a stone spell on you, that is turning into a statue. Don’t worry, it can be reverse, but that won’t be for a very long time,” Sunset said watching coldly as the woman who gave her life is turned to stone in front of her.

“Sunset please stop it!” Celestia begged.

“Would you do the same for me?” Sunset asked.

“No, I wouldn’t!” Celesita said as the only thing left is her head.

“Why should, I do that for you then,” Sunset asked.

“There’s no good reason to save me,” Celesita sobbed as she completely turned to stone while revealing how much of a monster she really is underneath the mask she wears for the public.

On the other side of the portal, the world of the cats watched the takeover of a kingdom take place. Many are disgusted at the sight of a guard using a baby as a living shield. Even more as Celestia the ruling monarch of the kingdom where magic is real appeared, revealing who she really is by a truth spell showing everyone that she feels no shame or guilt for what she did to her child and only cared that she was caught. And as she pleaded for her life, she was force to say that there is no good reason to save her, when asked why she should be saved. (1)

Yahweh gives out a chuckle being the one who has been showing the cat world what’s happening on the other side.

“I really should had done this before, when I still was hopeful about you cats. Making my time on Earth so big and wide in the open that the greedy bastards who started the religions couldn’t twist it to suit their needs,” Yahweh said.

“The different religions with you as the god, are all not true?” Gora asks.

“There was never a garden of Eden or an Adam and Eve, as starting an entire race from two cats would never work. You try that with any animal which you cats are animals, making them mate with only each other would just lead to inbreeding. It was tried and failed horribly. Which also means the whole flood thing that covered the world didn’t happen either. Just the flooding of the great valley that is now known as the Red Sea. Big flood but not covering the world, just stories of the flood that spread out, as you cats as a race all came from Africa. And Jesus is my son as in me being apart of the pride that his father had when I met him, i never had kittens. But became another mother to Jesus who is Mary’s child. I just taught him how to use magic and healing. So yes the Jews are right about him not being my chosen one. As I never and will never do that,” Yahweh said.

“Oh,” Gora said as being raised by the other female pride members when the mother couldn’t be there is normal.

“And I seen how the different religions twisted his words to suit them and only them to maintain their power and wealth. If I did choose someone to be my chosen one, all that pressure and people in power trying to get him to side with them for more power and wealth would happen. And has happen as plenty of con artists have started and will start cults around them being the only one who can hear me and I talk through them and only them alone. Which I have never done, as they would need to use magic to contact me first to either talk with me like using a phone or summoning me. Which is the reason why the religions made magic into the work of the devil. So that it’s impossible for anyone to call or summon me. Which yes there is a devil, one of many as there are many tales of the devil with different names. Always fighting who is the real devil, and no they don’t come to Earth to lure people to taint their souls and go to Hell. They don’t and have never needed to, you do that yourselves and just use them as a scapegoat for what you do. Their jobs is to make the people in Hell to pay for their crimes and work to be able to die for good to end it,” Yahweh said.

“There are no devils who come to Earth then?” Gora ask.

“Personal demons of your own making or a mental problem. Some people have unbalanced brain chemicals that causes them to see and hear things that aren’t there. Besides like me and other gods, the devils need someone who can use magic to bring them to Earth. And the only ones who have been able to call gods and demons are the Voodoo and Hoodoo and whatever else cults, whole different system of how to summon the loas. No one has been able to summon me for centuries now… I think it was during the Middle Ages when the last user of magic called me. Since then the so called saints and people who speak for me, have never once while they were alive actually talked to me. I so love it when they see that the faith they use to control and gain wealth actually is real and is false. Seeing how all of them have me as a man. I play along with their delusional of it just being a test and that if they double down on their beliefs that I would approve of any of their actions from forcing people to believe their way and do what they say while not following it at all, mass killings, treating females as lesser beings and others. That I’m on their side and not dropping them down into Hell,” Yahweh laughs.

“Are there any faiths base around you that are true?” Gora ask.

“Nope, all of them are made up and used what I said, changed them for their own needs. The faiths are like betting on a race horse and hoping that the one you pick is the winner. When it doesn’t matter what faith you pick. Purgatory is just the waiting station where you wait in line to be allowed in an afterlife. There are more than one afterlife, seeing how different cultures and ways of life have different values. All souls are reviewed, to see which afterlife they go to, seeing how the heaven for someone thousands of years ago is different from what you people of today think of as heaven. Which back in those days, is just having enough food, clean water, shelter, and nothing to fear of a predator or bandits appearing over the horizon. Also repentance for your sins only works when the one actually makes an effort to make it up, and not on their death bed repenting. Doesn’t work like that, you won’t go to heaven just for that last minute way pass the point it would have matter act. It just shaves off some time from the amount of debt you need to pay to die for good, and only when they actually mean it,” Yahweh said.

“So what do you do?” Jonny ask who has been working the radio equipment.

“As the top god of Earth with the most believers, even if you all think I’m a guy. I’m the boss of the other gods and demons to keep things running smoothly. Giving another reason why I don’t answer prays even if I could receive them. I’m just too busy keeping the afterlife running to bother with the extra work. Besides, I refuse to answer prays that calls me a guy,” Yahweh said.

“What about letting evil to happen?” Jonny ask.

“That is something that no one can control. You kill a chicken for food, is an evil act for the chicken, and the same goes for cutting down a tree for the wood, you’re still killing a living thing. Evil is just the other half of a prefect sphere,” Yahweh explains. “Not that it matters what I say. You people will just think I mean something else and use that to make yourselves think what you’re doing is right. I can just stop doing anything and you all will still comeback to me. Like a beaten dog loves its cruel master. I really hate you believers.”

“You hate us?” Gora ask.

“What can I say to you people where it would stick and someone won’t twist it for their own needs and you idiots follow it as being true. Selling trinkets of so called holy objects, and having you idiots donate money that goes into the pockets of the leaders to fund their lifestyles. So, here’s a song for you all who believe in any faith that is connected to me,” Yahweh said as music began to play.

Yahweh gets up from her seat and walks towards the river while the scene is being played in the sky all over the world.

She walks along the riverside while singing and looking sad.

Yahweh hangs a ‘Close’ sign on the front of the gate through the bars.

“I quit being your goddess, you fucks,” Yahweh said giving everyone the middle finger again with both hands and the gates of heaven disappeared.

Everyone was staring completely stunned.

“Does this mean all the faiths centered around her are now, closed?” Gora ask.

“Yup, she quits so it’s like a factory that or a store where you pay for things that you will never get and just need blind faith that you will get it when there is nothing inside,” Bes the dwarf god said.

“What do we do now?” Feral ask as his faith is a big part of his life.

“Well faith is still a life choice and if you still follow it and it helps you then do it. If not, well I’m a god and there’s everyone else here and more,” Bes said waving to the other gods and goddesses.

“Oh yeah, I guess we can just pick which god we worship like in the old days,” Jonny said. (2)

Lackadaisy has changed like everything else since contact with the ponies has been established between their worlds. Mitzi May thanks to being friendly with now Queen Sunset Shimmer has been dealing with the exports from Equestria. Thanks to the fact that the shared god of so many different religions all based around is a goddess and not a man, with her showing that everything that those religions based around her are false and because of that has caused her to hate all of them, for never questioning any of it and just being blind to everything that counters it. She has given up being their goddess, with every church and temples having her voice a recording, telling them to stop praying to her as she will never and has never answer any of their prays. Has cause many speakeasies to have lots of people coming in.

The other gods and goddess have been showing up after they showed people how to summon them by using Voodoo rituals to summon a Voodoo god or goddess who will connect them to the god they want to speak with. The church leaders in Rome have been trying to call their goddess like the Jews and the Muslins but none of them are getting an answer. The other gods and goddesses have said that her office and home are all empty and she has gone off touring the rest of the universe, which could take her thousands or even millions of years to return. As it’s pointless for her to even try when her followers will always give her credit to anything that happens good or bad. And even with that world wide song the completely blind faithful are still praying to the old god they need to be real and that they haven’t given up so much for nothing. Which the gods and goddesses say it’s fun to watch people like that break down when they die and are force to see the truth.

The bar is now stocked with alcohol from Equestria and the ban on alcohol at least in the city is now a lost cause, thanks to the gateway in the city. The gateway opens to a new trade hub in Equestria where cats and the races of the magical world could mingle and do business. And that the cats who travel to the magic world can drink as much as they want there.

The governments of the world have been in big talks with Sunset over lots of things. Seeing the golem army in action has caused many plans to be halted and changed. What’s the use of having a vast army of men when someone can send wave after wave of easily replaceable soldiers. Not to mention magic, which is a tightly controlled and hard to come by because of the amount of training and learning one has to do before they could use magic themselves.

“The city sure has changed in one year,” Mitzi said to herself looking around the bar that has a number of different races from Equestria having a drink. The new year is fast approaching and the start of 1928 would soon begin.

“It was like it was only yesterday that Sunset came in here,” Sable said sharing the table with her.

“How’s the fast food business?” Mitzi asked.

“Doing real well. Thanks to the egg god blessing the chicken farms supplying the eggs, able to keep a good and steady income. And thanks to some contacts with queen Sunset, having money coming in from the building projects over there. Sable said.

“Lots of money is coming into the city thanks to that portal,” Mitzi said. The portal is located at the airport where people from both sides have to do all the checking in luggage and the staff making sure there isn’t anything that shouldn’t be coming in for either side.

“Yup, too bad Sweet can’t enjoy it from prison but that what happens when you make too big of a scene,” Sable said.

“The feds really went to work to find out why the attack happen,” Mitzi said.

“Heard that the first golems are being shipped to Russia to help the royal family to crush the Reds,” Sable said.

“I heard,” Mitzi said. “There’s talks about them being used to replace labor.”

“Yes but they do need someone to tell them what to do,” Sable said. “There is also talks about making a copy of yourself and putting it into a golem.”

“It works for the Dazzlings pride members, and shaping the bodies to be how you want it to be does sound appealing,” Mitzi said.

“But it’s expensive seeing how you need a prefect glass gemstone to do it with the ritual. And it last for a couple of years before you need to do it all over again and having a clay body. Which is why those pride members are having real bodies made for them in Equestria,” Sable said.

“Which I’m sure is very expensive as well,” Mitzi said having read up on the golem bodies.

“The show is going to start,” Sable said seeing Rocky and the other band members getting ready.

“And a new year is about to begin. Too bad none of Sunset’s pride could make it, for old times sake. I would love to see another of their song and dance,” Mitzi said.

“So would I,” Sable said feeling left out from the big things that are happening but with what he has heard most of that is just too big for him.

Outside -

A car drove pass the front coffee shop for Lackadaisy, stopping for a moment to let someone to cross the street before continuing. The driver remembers how much fun she and the others had before in that underground club. But with them being apart of the royal pride of the new queen of Equestia, they have other duties to preform now.

The museum is now the Equestrian embassy and the other businesses while still owned by them, are being run by others now. Lots of things have been swept under the rug by the government in exchange for some trade deals, as the portal can be open from anywhere else on Earth and any other country would make just about any kind of deal for a portal and a direct connection to Equestria could be made.

The ever growing magic gemstones that dragons love to eat and are used in spells, are being studied as a new source of energy. So instead of using oil as fuel for vehicles, the magic gemstones could be used instead once refined that is. Which unknown to her would cause the Middle-East to never become important on the world stage or grow wealthy from oil sales. Oil would still have its uses but as the number one fuel source that is non-renewable, compared to the magic gemstone made fuel that is renewable, oil wouldn’t be as needed.

Sunset has made lots of connections and the Dazzlings even more, who have all went back to their home country on Earth. The Dazzlings had seen some old friends and family who are still around while in Equestria but their home is on Earth having lived there for centuries. They are working with the Untied Kingdom for what’s happening in Germany. And like always Sunset is already preparing for that, with a new army of golems being made.

She does miss those old days when it was just them traveling around and preparing but now that they have it, they have to keep it. She knew what was in store for her if she joined Sunset as she had explained things to her first. Besides unlike in stories, real life has no real ending, it only ends when you die. And she would live the life she has chosen for herself.

The car drove down the street as people inside buildings celebrated the new year.
