We had finally found a safe house... Well it was more like a mansion. We all paired up for the night, Me with 10k. It was getting late, I'd say around 12 or later, and we were still roaming the halls. "10k, it's getting late, we can explore more tomorrow. I'm tired" I complain, tugging on one of his shirts "Aren't you the one that usually begs me to stay up?" He chuckles, continuing down the hall with me at his side, whining. "Yeah, but I stayed up late last night on watch duty, and now I'm sleepy" I yawn, stretching out my arms and back. "Screw this" I mutter, before grabbing 10k by his wrist and dragging him to the nearest bedroom.
"Wha- Hey!" He laughs as I close the door, but stops in his tracks when I start undressing and covers his eyes with a "Dude!". " What? I'm just taking my gear off, I refuse to ruin this battle jacket" he slowly uncovers his eyes, his face now red as he awkwardly chuckles "Oh yeah, hehe. Uh- guess I'll do that too" he mutters
before turning to the large desk where I also put my gear. "What'd you think I was doing?" I ask, climbing into the left side of the California King sized bed. "Oh! Uh, nothing! Don't worry about it!" He laughs, more awkwardly then before. As he sets one of his long sleeve shirts down, he hears a crinkle from underneath. He let his curiosity get the better, lifts it up, to reveal my Battle Jacket underneath, with something poking out of the inside pocket, and takes it out.
I roll over at the sound of hysterical laughter, and see 10k, red faced, with a packet of...OH MY GOD NO "Really?! Condoms?!" He busts out laughing again, though not as hard as before "Addy gave those to me!! She's been teasing the crap outta me recently cause-" I begin, but stop when the sound of laughter is no more "Addy gave you these?" 10K deadpanned, his eyes widen at my nod "She...Gave me some too.." He whispers, looking down at his feet in shame "wait... Did she say something along the lines of " You're gonna need these" to you too??" I asks, and 10k looks at me like- )0-0 is the best way I can explain it lol)
- And we share the same look for what feels like hours, but was really only a few minutes. "She's been making jokes about us hooking up for months!" 10k Shouts in disbelief, then we both brake into more hysterical laughter so loud it's surprising nobody woke up "Oh my god! She's been scheming behind our backs!!" I laugh so hard my stomach begins to hurt, as 10k slams his hand down into the desk, doubling over wheezing.

After that fiasco, though, A new problem arose.
Chatting for a few moments, 10k yawns, leaning back into the wall he was resting against. "sooo, what're we gonna do about the bed situation? Pillow wall?" He asks, plopping down onto the right side of the bed, before removing his combat boots and putting them next to mine. "Well, there's enough room for both of us, I don't need a whole lotta room sooo" I say as I slide over, making more then enough room for 10k to fit, smiling at him as he slides under the warm, soft, silky covers.

I wake up around 4:00, in a completely different position than I fell asleep in. I was so close to 10k , I could've melted then and there, my right leg was thrown around his waist, my arm cradling him, with my hand on his cheek. He, however, had his left arm stretched to hold my hip, his other snaked underneath me, linking up with his hands, trapping me in his armsMy face flushes, A bloody red color, it reaches up to my ear tips, and down to my shoulders. It only worsens as he rolls onto his side, burying his face into my chest. We stay like this, seemingly stuck in time as my thoughts run wild. "oh my god, his face is in my chest! He looks so cute when he sleeps though. Wait no, that's creepy as heck, stop!... And his lips, so pretty, and pink and kissable- NO I AM NOT GONNA HAVE THESE THOUGHTS THATS GROSS" I wiggle away, making attempt to get out of his hands, though stopping when he stirs "Mmh... Mmrh?" He mutters, before craning his head up. His eyes widen as he gasps, and we lock eyes for a moment, before he sits up and scoots back from me "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!" He apologizes, face red. "Oh! It's okay. I mean- we're both Fairly responsible adults- kinda- teens?- but you didn't do it on purpose, it's fine" I awkwardly chuckle, 10k does the same.
"Soooo... What time is it?" He asks, peeking out the window just a bit. "Early enough for more sleep" I say as I roll over, making 10k giggle. "What?". " Dude. Your hair! How does it do that??" He asks, laughing softly as he moves his hand to comb through my hair, making me shiver. "oh, sorry." He apologizes as he yanks his hand back. I roll over to face him again, he had his hands pulled into his chest as he looks up at me with soft eyes. "10k, it's okay. Just wasn't expecting it." I smile and lean down to him, both of us at the same level. He smiles like an excited kid and returns his hand to my hair, and my eyes close. We lay like this for a few moments, before I open my eyes again "Ya know... I actually didn't mind being so close to you earlier, uh- minus the whole 'face in chest' thing" He looks at me, surprised. "really?" He asks, soft enough I could barely hear it, I hum in response.He dares to give me puppy eyes, his brows slightly upturned, and he pouts a little bit. "...Do you wanna cuddle again?" He asks, as I chuckle. "yes. I, Mx. 'Skull Cracker' want to cuddle you, 10k what-ever-your-last-name-is, if that is okay with you" I sarcastically say, though still asking for permission. 10ks eyes light up as he smiles ,wide and open mouthed.We fall back into the same position we were in earlier, smiling and giggling, until we fall asleep.

We awoke to the sound of soft, groggy greetings and good mornings, but neither one of us wanted to move. 'Just a few more minutes please' we both thought, and thankfully, the universe listened.
We both made our way into the massive kitchen, combat boots on, but no gear aside from that and my Battle Jacket. We both lean against the kitchen isle, eating the-- surprisingly good-- bacon and eggs Murphy had cooked. Me and 10k looking at each other and laughing before awkwardly glancing away. All was peaceful.

Until Addy came in the kitchen

She leans on the counter me and 10k were eating at, A devilish smirk on her face "Sooo, did you to have fun last night? Heard a lot of screaming" she chuckles in a teasing tone, as 10ks face turns red, and I look at him wide eyed "oh my god, Addy, we DID NOT do what you're thinking of!" 10k retorts, making Addy laugh "Uh huh, suree. And what do they have to say about this?" She turns to me, wiggling her eyebrows "we didn't...? If I'm thinking about what you're thinking about, then no-" I scoff, before crossing my arms "-but, we did cuddle. Surprisingly, 10k is very soft and squishy, 10/10 pillow boy, right there." I complement, making 10k stiffen his shoulders, and awkwardly smile "I am?" "He is?" Addy raises her eyebrows, looking at me like- ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) "There was nothing gross involved! We platonicly cuddled, that's all!" I screech, making Addy laugh harder "Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be taking 10k, gearing up, and exploring this mansion more!" I say, as I drag 10k back to the bedroom to grab our gear.

We had made it to uncharted territory...Or well, the upper levels of the mansion. 10k clears his throat, grabbing my attention, I hum in response. " I just- uh- earlier, with Addy, in the kitchen? You said that we 'platonicly cuddled' and uh-, I thought there were romantic feelings involved? Or at least, uh. I kinda felt that way " He sputters out, fiddling with the strap on his gun. "10k, I uh- only said that to get Addy off our backs, I kinda felt romantic feelings too- UH- That is, if you don't mind. I MEAN- oh god, I don't know what I'm sa-" I begin to rant, only to be muffled by something soft pressing against my lips.
A kiss. He's kissing me!
I lean into the kiss, smiling like an idiot as 10k wraps his arms over my shoulders, pulling away. We both giggle and stare into each others eyes, but before long, 10k deadpans "We don't tell Addy about this" he turns over to look at me again with a dead serious expression on his face, but his eyes wide. "Too late! We all know!!" We hear Addy shout as we whip around. Everybody was there, the ENTIRE group, "woohoo! Congrats kids! I'll fix something special for ya!" Doc cheers. Murphy crosses his arms and glares at 10k. "If you break my unofficially adopted child's heart, I swear I will rip off your-" he begins, but I shout "Dad! No threatening my partner!"
