Chanoey/ Friends Headcanons <33

Summary:

Basically what the title and tags suggest. Hope you enjoy this :)

Chapter 1: Headcanons 1 <3

Chapter Text

- I don't think they really use pet names, they mainly just call each other the same way as before - by name/ nickname or stuff like 'dude', but very occasionally Joey calls Chandler 'baby' like when Chandler's sad or when they're being intimate and it's the cutest thing ever

 

- they 100% share clothes

 

- JOEY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD (except with Chandler)

 

- Before the rest of the gang knew they were dating, they all went out to dinner somewhere and Joey offered Chandler some of his food and the whole table was sh00k and Joey was trying to play it off

 

- Phoebe started connecting the dots about the shared clothes and the 'food incident' but when she suggests it to the others, they think she's crazy

 

- Joey and Chandler made a careful plan of how and when to tell everyone but they all found out by accident of course. Ross, Rachel and Monica all hand Phoebe money once they find out and Joey and Chandler are like??? (Phoebe bet that they were dating)

 

- Chandler got Joey a Sony PlayStation for his birthday and Joey plays it ALL the time

 

- Joey definitely tried to teach Chandler how to play some games but Chandler was hopeless

 

- They also let the others play and Monica got super competitive and kept beating everyone

 

- Everyone collectively agreed to ban Monica from the PlayStation

 

- Ross sometimes comes over to play with Joey

 

- Joey and Chandler aren't into PDA

 

- Whenever they're out at a restaurant loads of women flirt with Joey; Chandler pretends not to care but he's secretly very jealous

 

- They both chose to not really label their sexuality but Joey calls himself 'Chandler-sexual'

Chapter 2: Headcanons 2 <3

Chapter Text

- over time, Joey picks up some of Chandler’s sarcasm

 

- Honestly, I think Chandler would say ‘I love you’ first

 

- Chandler likes to read classic novels like ‘Jane Eyre’ and ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ so Joey tried to read them as well but he had no clue what was going on. When Chandler found out that Joey was trying to understand Pride and Prjeudice for him it was one of the sweetest things ever

 

- they have a tally chart on the wall of foozball wins and that determines who does the laundry each week etc

 

- Joey is pretty good at art which kinda makes up for his lack of general intelligence. He draws all the friends but he mainly draws Chandler a lot (and pizza and hockey players and baywatch characters)

 

- Everyone calls him ‘Joey’ except Chandler who always calls him ‘Joe’ (and is the only person allowed to)

 

- Joey is portrayed as like the most confident flirty guy ever in the show but with Chandler it would like the total opposite (he would be so nervous and awkward)
