Same story but Rex and Obi-Wan get their chance to be together. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T READ COME BACK TO ME UP UNTIL CHAPTER 8

Chapter Text

Obi-Wan’s heart dropped into his stomach. Rex said he wouldn’t leave him but he never thought Cody would either. He suddenly couldn’t catch his breath. The room began to spin and he started shivering uncontrollably. He sank down to the floor and put his head between his knees. He practiced deep breathing and tried to slip into a Jedi meditation.

He wasn’t able to calm down. He must’ve been projecting because hurried footsteps filled his ears. “Oh no. Obi, I’m so sorry.” He felt arms wrap around him and scoop him up. He was cuddled into a firm chest. He wrapped his arms around Rex as he was carried up the stairs. He was placed gently onto Rex’s bed and the bedroom door was locked. He kept his eyes firmly on his lap. Staring until a pair of socked feet come into view. A gentle hand hooked under his chin and pulled his face up. One look at Rex’s sweet, soft expression broke the dam. He burst into tears, and once they began he couldn’t stop them. Rex gathered him into his arms and ran a hand continuously through his hair. “Hush now,” he said softly. “What is it?”

Obi-Wan shook his head. Did he truly want to admit that he had developed a fear of abandonment? He wasn’t sure he was ready to admit such a thing. High Jedi General Master Obi-Wan Kenobi was afraid of being alone? No that wasn’t it, he didn’t fear solitude. He thought for a few minutes more, all the while Rex held him. He was afraid of being without love. He was afraid that he meant so little to everyone that they would leave him. Was that selfish?

“Obi please tell me how to help.” Rex’s voice had a desperate edge to it. One that truly only a few had ever heard. Obi-Wan took a deep breath and the tears ceased for a moment. Long enough to be honest, Rex had never judged him. Never turned his back on him. No matter what happened his little family had always and will always be there. He pulled back from the warm embrace and looked at his companion. Rex’s big, warm, honey eyes were shiny with unshed tears. His beautiful face was lined with worry. Some of his curls fell down onto his forehead. The pale blonde contrasting handsomely with his tan skin. His normally smiling lips were pulled into a frown.

“I’m sorry Rex, I got scared and couldn’t get it under control.” He said simply. Rex’s brow furrowed.

“Scared? Of what?” Obi-Wan was quiet for a long moment. He needed to get his thoughts in order before it all came out in a jumble.

“You leaving me behind I suppose, to put it simply.” He dropped his gaze to his hands. “I know you told me that you wouldn’t but…” he trailed off.

“Obi,” Rex’s voice was gentle. He felt emotion rising in him again. This man was so wonderful, he didn’t deserve him.

“I guess a part of me fears that someday you will see me the way that I see me.” He swallowed thickly. “And I’m afraid of how quickly that day is coming,” shame turned his cheeks red.

“And how do you see yourself?” The question pinned him. He stared hard at his feet.

“Do you truly want to hear this?”

“Talk to me, let me help. Tell me everything,” Rex reached over and laced their fingers together. “Please.” Obi-Wan gripped his hand tightly.

“Please bear with me this is going to be hard.”

“Take your time kotir solus (brave one).”

“This started when I was a child. I never felt whole, all my life I felt as though a part of me was missing. I never fit in anywhere, and I was bullied a lot. It added to this sense of loss I’d always felt, I thought once I turned thirteen I’d feel whole. So when Qui-Gon came to the temple to select a padawan and I was determined for it to be me. But in the end I was rejected and sent away to be a plow boy.” Obi-Wan stopped for a breath.

“What?” Rex’s astonished voice filled the air.

“Qui-Gon said I was volatile and unpredictable. He felt I was destined for the darkside.”

“I’m sorry hold on. You?” Obi-Wan smiled a bit. Rex was refreshing.

“Yes me,” he replied with a small sad smile. “Eventually after a month or so of being a plow boy on Bandomeer I ended up with Qui-Gon again. He accepted me only after I strapped a bomb to my neck to save the colony.”

“A bomb?! A fucking bomb?!” That drew a laugh from Obi-Wan. He squeezed Rex’s hand tightly.

“His former padawan went to the darkside and tried to wipe out the planet. I had to save them Rex, no matter the cost. Even if that meant the cost was me.” Rex growled at that, Obi-Wan continued. “We had a good life together and we were very close. We didn’t always see eye to eye and I was a bit of a handful. But when he met Anakin I realized that I was replaceable. I never blamed Ani for that. He was just a scared little boy.” Rex remained silent completely giving Obi-Wan the floor. “He wanted to take Anakin on as his padawan, meanwhile I hadn’t taken the trials yet. They were going to finish out my training with Master Windu. It broke my heart, it was like I was an obligation to him. Whereas he was the world to me. Whether that was the truth or not I’ll never know. I never got the chance to ask.” He dropped his gaze back to his lap. Rex added his other hand to their laced fingers.

“Then I failed him. He died in my arms, at the hands of that red monster. I wasn’t fast enough, strong enough, talented enough to save him. At first the council didn’t want me to train Ani. They said he was too old, I wasn’t experienced enough.” His eyes began to prickle. “They left me alone, with my horrible thoughts. I was supposed to continue on like my world hadn’t been destroyed. Then once I got Ani I nearly failed him too. It got to be too much one night and I….” He trailed off, this was so painful to relive. He was subtly waiting to look up and see Rex’s disappointed face. He didn’t think he could bear it so he kept his eyes down. “I almost lost him, and you all. Had I not been aware of my failures I would’ve.” The tears broke again, and raced down his face. A gentle hand lifted his face and wiped his tears away.

“We almost lost each other,” Rex’s soft gentle voice soothed an aching in Obi-Wan’s heart. “But you always believed in us and no matter what you were always there. By our sides through everything.” Rex’s thumbs gently brushed a few more tears away.

“Don’t give me that much credit. You boys were always better than most.” Rex gave him a look. “You know what I fell in love a few times in my life. Once when I was very young, she chose the Jedi order. I understood that, and I respected her choice. Once again when I was a bit older, she chose to rule Mandalore. That I could understand as well,” he paused for a moment, his heart squeezing in pain. “Then I fell in love with Cody, he chose me. I thought that was endgame. But in the end he left me too.” Rex’s face grew sad again. “I broke my vows for him Rex. I cast aside the Jedi, my code, my everything and it still wasn’t enough. I wasn’t enough.”

“Obi…” his voice was small. He grabbed his face with both hands. “Why didn’t you tell me this? Why didn’t you let us help?” Obi-Wan leaned into Rex’s touch.

“I guess I didn’t know how.” Rex’s thumbs gently wiped away tears again. He was quiet for a bit again. “What did I ever do to deserve you? You have been by my side through so much.” Obi-Wan’s thoughts drifted back to the prison. Rex had stood by him steadfast and true. They held each other through the darkest times these last few years.

“And I will always be found there Ner kar'ta (my heart).” Obi-Wan laid his head on Rex’s shoulder.

“Now you tell me what has you so sad.” Rex’s eyes grew only sadder.

“As long as you promise me you can forgive me. As long as you don’t send me away from you.” Obi-Wan was in shock. What in the force could Rex have possibly done?

“You know that I could never send you away from me. I will always be by your side as well.” Rex’s hands returned to his lap. His gaze dropped to them. He began to ring his hands nervously.

“Please forgive me,” he whispered before he began. “I-well I-“ he blew out a breath “Wow this is hard. I’ve kept it hidden for so long.” Now it was Obi-Wan’s turn to comfort Rex. He reached out and laced his fingers with Rex’s.

“Take your time vutyc solus (special one).” Rex smiled at the name.

“I love you Obi-Wan,” he sucked in a breath “and I have for a long time.” Obi-Wan furrowed his brow.

“Rex?”

“I’m in love with you.” Rex was shaking, his hand that was clutched in Obi-Wan’s was trembling like a leaf. His jaw hit the floor and he just stared at Rex wide eyed.

“Wha…” Rex pulled his hands away and starting pacing. He began to run his fingers through his hair.

“This is why I didn’t want to tell you. Oh gods,” he was pacing back and forth like a caged animal. His voice was trembling. “I’m sorry. I-oh gods,” Obi-Wan was watching him pace in shock. How had he missed that? He had a force bond with Rex. He could share feelings through. Was he so wrapped up in his own life he completely missed that his best friend was in love with him? Rex put his back to the door and slid down it to the floor. He had his head cradled in his hands. “Can you forgive me?” His voice was raw his eyes became shiny “Do you want me to leave?” He stood and went over to him. Obi-Wan knelt down in front of the poor man and gathered his hands in his.

“I’m so sorry Rex. I never knew, I should’ve paid more attention.” He sighed. “Oh force I’ve failed again.” He pressed the back of Rex’s hand to his cheek. He looked into a pair of watery, beautiful, honey eyes, wide with fear. A few tears had escaped and trailed down his face. Obi-Wan wiped them away. “I don’t even know what to say. I don’t know if I’m ready-“ Rex stopped him.

“No you don’t owe me anything. You don’t have to have a response. I didn’t want to tell you because I didn’t want to make you uncomfortable. Or make you think I was being opportunistic.” He took a deep shuddering breath a few more tears escaped. “Even if all I can ever be is your friend, that’s enough for me Obi. I understand and I accept that. Just-“ he broke off again swallowing is his tears. “Don’t send me away.” His bottom lip trembled as tears began to fall quickly. His eyes holding a deep sadness that shattered Obi-Wan’s heart. This poor sweet man, with such a gentle soul and a beautiful heart was sitting here begging for forgiveness, for being in love. He was one of the luckiest men in the universe. To have the honor of having someone as wonderful and amazing as Rex love him. He was holding one of the purest hearts in his hands right now.

He was a little bit shell shocked but he couldn’t lie to himself. That man was stunningly beautiful, talented, fit, and his body was a turn on. But even more than all of that, the most attractive thing about him was how kind he was. His kind, gentle, loving soul was the most beautiful thing Obi-Wan had ever seen. He was funny, smart, and so devastatingly deep. He shined so bright in the force. His warm gentle hands, soft smiles, and loving hugs were home to Obi-Wan. Whenever the universe seemed dark Rex was there to brighten it. Whenever things were tough and he felt like he couldn’t go on, Rex was there to haul him back to his feet. He was everything to Obi-Wan, would it be so strange for him to be his lover too?

He reached out and wiped away the tears on Rex’s face. His sad eyes fixed on the hands in his lap. “Look at me sweet boy,” he whispered. Rex’s eyes made their way to his, the sunset shone from in them. “You are the most wonderful person I’ve ever met. When I look at you I see home. You are everything to me, and I am so honored that someone as special and beautiful as you could love me. You shine bright in the force like a beacon.” He looked deep into those eyes. “You have stood beside me no matter what was happening. When I felt like the world was ending and there was nothing left for me you were there. You remind me that this life is worth living. I know that I can be safe with you, that my baby will be safe with you.” Rex’s eyes grew soft, the tears still racing each other down his face. “If we can take our time with each other.” He paused for a second. “And you can accept my baby. Then I think I might be falling in love with you too.”

Rex’s eyes filled with hope and shone with joy. “You really mean all that?” He whispered.

“Every word.” He was wrapped in a tight hug. Rex’s comforting scent all around him. He buried his face in Rex’s neck cuddling close to him. The touch was different than before. It was the touch of a budding romance versus a friend.

“I accept the little one by the way. As if I wouldn’t.” His voice was a soft rumble against Obi-Wan’s chest. They pulled apart and rested their foreheads together. Rex’s hands grasped his face, thumbs caressing his cheek bones.

“How long?” Obi-Wan whispered.

“How long what?”

“How long have you had feelings for me?”

“Always. At first I was just attracted to you because of superficial reasons. But then you were kind, funny, incredibly intelligent. The way you encouraged us to be more than beings of war, cared for us. You became vod, that’s when it became more. But once I found out about Cody and then you and Cody I didn’t want to cause trouble.” He paused. “I knew I was in love with you after the Hardeen nonsense. I was a wreck, I could barely breathe when I thought you were gone. I spent days with my helmet on only taking it off when I was alone. I was devastated. When I found out you were alive I’ve never felt such relief. Then watching you in that prison. Fierce and mesh’la (beautiful), ready to die to protect those people and me.” Rex chuckled and pulled back. “Sexy as all get out.” Obi-wan felt the blush creeping down his face.

“I think you’re crazy,” he laughed.

“Yeah about you,” his blush flared brighter. They held each other for a while longer, basking in each other’s presence.

“I think I’m going to have to turn in.” Obi-Wan said softly popping the bubble they were hiding in. Rex looked up with a smile. “Will you be coming with me to Coruscant tomorrow?” Rex nodded. He reached out and took Obi-Wan’s hand bringing it to his lips and kissing his knuckles. Then he leaned down and kissed the corner of Obi-Wan’s mouth. His face flared hot again at the pressed of those pretty lips. He looked down a smile creeping across his lips. He walked with Rex to the door of the bedroom. Obi-Wan stepped through then turned back to say goodnight. His breath caught in his throat. The low lights of the hallway danced in Rex’s eyes making them sparkle. His hair which had fallen over his forehead was a pale yellow almost silver. His skin was a perfect tanned shade of caramel. “You are stunning, I hope you know that.”

“Goodnight mesh’la, I love you,” he whispered to him before retreating back into his bedroom and closing the door.

Chapter Text

He sensed Rex’s approach long before he heard it. He was doing his morning saber drills in the jungle that was his back yard. The feel of the weapon in his hands was right. It was an extension of his arm, a part of his body. This was as natural as breathing. With his mastery of the third form, he could do this with his eyes closed. He made it through another drill before Rex’s force signature was behind him. Though he hadn’t made himself known just yet. Obi-Wan waited to see what he was up too. He reached out through their bond, giving Rex a nudge. He felt a burst of contentment from him. ”Can I help you Darling?” He asked softly almost finished with his morning routine.

“You never cease to amaze me with that.” He felt a small blush creep up his cheeks. The whir of the light saber grounded him however. He spun the saber in a big figure eight around him and flipped through the air. He landed light on his feet as though he weighted less than a feather. He deactivated the saber, hooking it onto the pocket of his pants. Rex was a vision standing there, the bright morning sun making him shine. His hair was slightly mussed and he looked like he’d only gotten up a few minutes ago. His smile was soft and affectionate, filling Obi-Wan with gentle butterflies. A blush crept onto his cheeks and he looked down at his feet.

“Thank you.” He whispered silently to his bare toes. Another pair of bare feet filled his vision, a hand gently raised his chin. He locked eyes with a pair of soft honey ones. A pair that always seemed to be smiling no matter how much sadness they had seen. Kindness was etched into the very being of this man, and he chose to be near Obi-Wan. He leaned down and pressed his lips to his forehead. Running his gentle fingers through Obi-Wan’s hair.

“Good morning mesh’la (beautiful).” His voice was sweet and safe. Obi-Wan’s heart felt happy for the first time in a long time. He wrapped his arms around Rex’s neck and hugged him tightly.

“I’m sorry if I’m sweaty.” Rex laughed.

“You’re fine believe me. I used to live in a barracks.” They laughed together. “How’s the little’un?” They pulled part and Rex placed a gentle hand on his little bump. Obi-Wan reached down and rested his hand on Rex’s wrist.

“The force is singing around my stomach so beautifully. I want you to hear it. Close your eyes and reach out to our bond, you’ll hear it through me.” Rex closed his eyes. Obi-Wan felt him through the bond, he was completely open and trusting. Obi-Wan watched Rex’s face as he melded them together for a moment. His face brightened like the sun when he heard the gentle song. He felt Rex’s force signature holding onto his gently as if afraid to grip tightly. Obi-Wan wrapped his signature around Rex’s like a hug. Once the moment faded and Rex opened his eyes their signatures parted. His eyes were shiny.

“Obi-Wan,” his voice was a whisper. “That was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard.” His heart swelled happily.

“That’s my baby Rex. She is going to be strong with the force I know it.” Rex left his hand on Obi-Wan’s stomach.

“She?”

“I dreamt of her last night.” Rex’s eyes were soft.

“Ik'aad dalyc (Baby girl)!” his face was bright with joy. “That’s so wonderful Obi-Wan.” He let his thumb rub over the bump. “I know we are taking this slowly. But, I want you to know something.” He caught Obi-Wan’s eyes. “My love isn’t conditional, I will always love you Obi-Wan Kenobi. No matter where we go or what we do. I will always be beside you. I will always love your baby like she’s my own. I already love her.” Obi-Wan searched Rex’s eyes. This was home, this man had his heart.

“Rex, you are my home.” Rex’s eyes filled with joy and shone.

“Can I kiss you?” He asked softly. Obi-Wan filled with butterflies again.

“Please.” Rex laughed placed his free hand on Obi-Wan’s cheek pulling him in. Their lips touched gently, the force was singing softly around them. It felt right. He felt a thrill run down his spine. Quickly followed by a small sliver of guilt. Cody haunted him often, and even now he was trying to haunt this moment with Rex.

No.

Obi-Wan cleared his mind and gave those thoughts to the force. He was going to live in the now with this beautiful man. They pulled apart and locked eyes again. There was something smoldering in Rex’s eyes. He felt goosebumps break out all over his skin. They couldn’t pull their eyes away from each other, nose to nose Obi-Wan ran his hands up Rex’s chest.

The muscles were firm and bulging under his hands. He stopped at his collarbone, resting his thumbs in the hollows and his fingers over the firm shoulders. He felt two big strong hands grab his hips. His skin was tingling where Rex’s calloused fingers were gripping him. He sensed a presence behind him, it snapped him out of his trance. He stepped back and turned to see Wrecker making his way out of the kitchen. A big plate of bantha butter pancakes.

“Tech cooked breakfast!” He said cheerfully Omega trotting along behind him with syrup and a big plate of eggs. Obi-Wan smiled, it gladdened his heart to see his house full of joy. He took Rex by the hand and led him into the kitchen. The smell of the pancakes and eggs was heavenly. Whether or not that was due to his pregnancy Obi-Wan didn’t know. Tech was just plating the last of the pancakes when they walked in.

“Good morning!” He said to them cheerfully. “I made plenty for you,” he pointed at Obi-Wan with the spatula, “You are eating for two after all.” Rex chuckled behind him and reached over the island and grabbed two plates.

“Go pick somewhere to sit dear.” His voice was full of warmth. Obi-Wan walked up to Tech who was filling the sink with water to soak the pans in. He wrapped his arm around Tech’s chest and hugged him. Tech stiffened under his arm for just a moment before he relaxed.

“Thank you for making us breakfast vod.” He whispered. Tech looked over his shoulder and down at Obi-Wan, with one of his special little Tech smiles.

“Go eat, that ik’aad (baby) isn’t going to grow properly without nutrients. Plus you have a big day ahead of you.” Obi-Wan chuckled at him and followed Rex out of the kitchen.

“Ready to go?” Rex asked him a few hours later. Having had breakfast gotten in the fresher and dressed he looked ready. Was he though? He wasn’t sure. The last time he’d been on Coruscant his entire world was flipped upside down and changed forever. He stood up from the couch stirring Omega who’d been napping on his shoulder. He put her down against some pillows wrapped her in a blanket and kissed her forehead.

“Give me five minutes and I’ll be ready.” He said softly, making sure Omega was tucked in. “I’ll see you soon sug.” Rex gave him the go ahead and went outside to get the speeder ready. They had travel to Coruscant booked on a passenger transport. It should only take them two or so hours. He stepped into the bathroom getting a really good look at himself for the first time in a while. He looked better, healthier, his skin was a subtle shade of cream. His hair seemed to gleam like beaten copper and it fell over his forehead perfectly. His beard however, he wanted it to go. He no longer liked the look. He pulled up his comm. “Rex?”

“Yes dear?”

“How much time do we have?”

“We don’t have to technically leave for another forty minutes.”

“Perfect.” He got out his razor and cream and set to work. Slowly but surely his chin began to become visible. Taking his time with his cleft in his chin and sharp points of his jaw. Once he was finished he rinsed off his face, put on some lotion then after shave. He studied his appearance.

Ugh. Just ugh. He never really liked the way he looked. The beard was just a way to hide. Regardless he wasn’t sure if he wanted to hide anymore.

He really hoped Rex liked it.

“My my my,” Rex purred as he walked out of the house a half hour later. “You changed it up on me.” He laughed.

“I don’t look silly do I?” Rex scoffed.

“Silly? You look beautiful as always. I think I like this look better. I can see your entire handsome face.” Obi-Wan blushed so hard. The blush carrying from his cheeks down his neck. He rolled his eyes at Rex.

“Yeah yeah let’s go.” Rex laughed and climbed into the drivers seat of the side by side speeder. Obi-Wan climbed into the passenger seat. Their over night bags were packed and in the trunk. “Are you sure you want to come with Rex? You don’t have to.” Rex shook his head and chuckled.

“Of course I’m sure. I want to see the boys and the baby.” Rex paused putting in his seatbelt and putting the speeder in drive. “Also I want to take you out on a date pretty boy. I wanna show you off.”  Obi-Wan felt a thrill light up his insides.

“I’d like that.” He whispered.

Coruscant came into view a few hours later, filling Obi-Wan with a bittersweet feeling. Rex stopped their taxi at the hotel. It was a lovely place. All marble and stone. Rex had recently come into some money due to a record deal. So he insisted on paying for it. Obi-Wan refused but was ultimately overruled. They made their way to their room it was lush and plush. Greens and golds everywhere soft velvety bedspreads and towels. “Rex this place is amazing! You didn’t have to rent this I would’ve been happy staying with the boys.” Obi-Wan scoffed at him.

“Eh fuck that. I wanted somewhere quiet and soft.” Obi-Wan barked out a laugh. He did have a very valid point. He kicked off his shoes and climbed onto his bed. It was so soft and plush he sunk into it.

“If you’re sure, I’ll pay my half of the tab when you get it.” Rex leveled him with a look. “What?”

“This is not a repayable service.” He marched into the bathroom. “I won’t have it Mister.” He yelled into the bedroom. Obi-Wan just shook his head and laughed. This man could be stubborn as all get out if he wanted too. Obi-Wan relaxed on the bed, hearing the fresher flush and the sink run. Rex came marching back out of it. “Let me treat you. Please Mesh’la.” He approached him slowly making his way around the bed toward Obi-Wan. Almost like he was stalking him. He was wearing a tight black shirt that hugged his broad shoulders, showed off his fantastic body and extenuated his tiny waist. His black cargo pants hugged his perfect ass and were baggy around his feet. The toes of his black boots poked out from underneath the pants. The stitching in the seams of his pants was cobalt blue.

He was irresistible, he was so handsome it hurt. Obi-Wan for the first time in a long time felt the stirring of tight heat in his belly. He wanted to climb him like a tree. Shivers broke out all over Obi-Wan’s skin. He let his eyes wander slowly down Rex’s body then back up to his eyes. Lingering for just a moment longer on his full lips. Rex’s pupils had blown wide and his gaze grew hot. “See something you like Mesh’la?”

“I see a lot of something I like,” he whispered. He moved forward a bit more. Obi-Wan kept their eyes locked. He started slowly stalking forward crawling up the bed toward him. Soon he hovered over Obi-Wan. They’d spent the last two months getting to know each other as lovers. Small gentle kisses, tons of hand holding, etc. Now there was a small part of him that wanted Rex to devour him. Be a little rough with him. Wrap those big strong hands around his waist. Rex’s eyes had gone from gooey honey to two points of smoldering molten amber.

“Is this okay?” His eyes were searching Obi-Wan’s. He watched Rex for a moment longer then grabbed him by the back of the neck, dragging him down. Their lips crashed together with a spark of passion. He wrapped his legs around Rex’s hips and dragged him down until he was flush against him. Most of Rex’s weight rested on his elbows. His taste exploded on Obi-Wan’s tongue as they tangled them together, it was delicious.

A deep groan rumbled it’s way out of Rex’s throat. He moved away from Obi-Wan’s lips and starting kissing down his throat. Obi-Wan’s brain was a hazy lusty mess. He wanted him so badly, inside him, all around him. A shrill high pitched beeping sounded from the bedside table startling them apart.

Reminder, healer appointment in thirty minutes. Traffic is heavy.” A tinny monotone female voice read out from Obi-Wan’s commlink. He looked at Rex who’s eyes were still blown wide and his chest heaving. They both began to laugh.

“Wow,” was all Rex said.

“I don’t know what happened there.” Obi-Wan chuckled as Rex moved off of him. “But please keep in mind that I don’t want that to be the only time.” Rex’s lips turned up in a sly sexy smirk.

“You taste divine. I never thought in my entire life that I’d be making out with Obi-Wan Kenobi.” Rex laughed pulling him into a sitting position. Obi-Wan rolled his eyes.

“Ugh.”

“What? You still don’t realize how sexy you are?” His cheeks were flaming red.

“I’m an old, pregnant, washed up Jedi Rex I’m not sexy.” Rex turned around and blinked at him.

“You are not old will you stop it.”

“I’m thirty seven years old Rex I’m about to be forty. THATS OLD.” Rex shook his head.

“No you’re crazy is what you are.” He walked back into the fresher muttering in Mando’a about how crazy Obi-Wan was. He stood, straightened his rumpled clothes. His tunic was a soft material that was baggy hiding his bump. His pants were loose around his hips and his boots were military in style unable to turn completely from the look. He was in mostly green which Rex said was his color. He was making his way to the fresher door when something stopped him.

“Oh!” He gasped. He felt movement inside him for the first time. He could feel his baby moving. Tears began to gather in his eyes. At his exclamation Rex jogged out of the bathroom.

“What is it?” Obi-Wan gestured him closer grabbing his hand.

“Hi little one.” He said quietly. Feeling her move again he put Rex’s hand on the spot. “She’s moving.” Rex’s face changed when he felt her.

“Oh wow.” His eyes grew shiny. “Cyare (beloved).” He whispered pulling Obi-Wan close to him, tucking him under his chin. “I don’t have words.”

He laid back against the exam table with his tunic raised exposing his bump. It had grown a bit since the last time Che had seen it. She placed the scanner over him and on a bigger screen next to them appeared a picture. “There they are,” she said. A small tiny form had filled the screen. “Looks like you have a little girl!” Obi-Wan looked at Rex was standing proudly beside him, their hands clasped together. “Look at how well she’s growing!” Healer Che took holos of the baby and sent them to Obi-Wan. “You’ve done so well in getting your weight back up Master Kenobi. Healthy baby healthy parent. Well done.”

She sent them out with more instruction on pregnancies as well as a due date. She gave a recommendation of a good doctor on Naboo.

Back in the room Obi-Wan sat down on his bed. Reality was settling in. In five months she’ll be born. “What is it Cyare?” Rex’s gentle voice filled the space.

“Five months and she’ll be here. I don’t know if I’m ready. What if Im a bad parent? Oh force I’ve never raised a baby before.” He buried his head in his hands tears prickling his eyes. “Anakin was a nine year old and I barely raised him right. Oh force.” Tears were making their way down his face now. He was petrified, he almost failed with Anakin what if he truly failed with her. He had no idea what he was doing, and he was without Cody.

Cody was his guiding light, his driving force. He was steadfast, strong willed, and smart. What the fuck was he supposed to do without him? A pair of strong hands grabbed his wrists and pulled his hands away from his face. He looked up into a pair of soft, gentle, loving honey colored eyes. Suddenly he knew, he knew exactly what he was going to do. Those pretty eyes reminded him. Rex had knelt in front of him. “Cyare,” he said softly wiping away his tears and holding his face. “You will be just fine. You are not a failure, you raised Anakin up into a great man.” He ran his thumbs gently over Obi-Wan’s cheekbones. “I will always be by your side. I will help you raise this sweet dalyc (girl). Plus do you think that Omega or Ahsoka are going to miss the chance to spend time with their niece? Not to mention she has quite literally over three million uncles.”

“You have so many people who love you and will be with you. Look at me.” Obi-Wan slid his tear stained eyes back up to Rex’s. “I’m yours always no matter what that means.” He cradled Obi-Wan to him letting him sob openly on his chest. He ran his fingers through Obi’s hair and down his back. They stayed like that for a while, until his tears had stopped. “I only have one regret.” Rex’s voice rumbled out against him. His heart seized up and tumbled into his stomach. He pulled back and looked at Rex. Afraid of what he was going to say. Rex’s eyes were full of warmth.

“What is it Rex?” His voice was wispy.

“That I didn’t put that baby in you. That’s my only regret.” Obi-Wan’s eyes went wide and a blush crept up his cheeks. Rex’s face was lifted by a smirk. “I wouldn’t be able to keep my hands off you. I can barely keep them to myself now.” He growled by Obi’s ear making him shiver.

***“Oh…you’re so bad.” He was laughing at that.

“I’ll only be bad to you if you want it that way.”

“Rex!” He laughed and kissed him deep. Obi-Wan couldn’t stop the little moan that escaped. Rex was an absolutely brilliant kisser and a fast learner. He pulled back, his honey eyes once again melting into amber.

“I’m not strong enough to resist tasting you any longer mesh’la. If you want to wait then please tell me. I’ll go over there and curl up in a ball.” Rex pointed at his bed on the other side of the room with a laugh. Obi ran his hands down Rex’s firm broad chest then back up wrapping around the back of his neck.

“Maybe not all the way just yet but, I wouldn’t be opposed to having a little taste.” Rex pounced on him. He was kissing down Obi’s neck and nibbling here and there. Fire licked up his belly and ran through his veins. “Force Rex.” Rex growled in response. Pulling his tunic up over his head exposing his body and bump to his hungry eyes. Obi-Wan blushed and looked away, he didn’t like the way he looked he never had. Rex started his trek down his chest slowly kissing and biting. He settled in between Obi-Wan’s legs brushing their erections together.

“You’re so mesh’la, it’s intoxicating.” Rex rumbled from Obi’s chest, before he attacked his right nipple. He arched into that mouth needing more. Rex switched to the other side giving the left just as much attention. Obi was going to die if he didn’t get more friction elsewhere.

“Baby please,” he begged.

“Please what mesh’la?”

“I need you. I need more.” Rex kissed down his chest and paid his bump some attention placing a loving gentle kiss to it. He moved further down Obi-Wan’s body. Stopping at the waist band of his pants. They locked eyes, those molten amber eyes now almost black with desire, Rex was searching for permission. “Yes.” He whispered his pants were whisked off his body and he was completely exposed for the first time to Rex.

“Mesh’la,” he whispered again Obi-Wan hid his face feeling small amount of embarrassment. “No no don’t hide that perfect face from me, I need to see it Cyare.” Obi reluctantly opened his eyes and looked into Rex’s seeing nothing but love and desire. He relaxed into Rex’s touch. Rex ran his tongue up the vein on the underside of Obi’s cock, lighting him completely and totally on fire. He wrapped his lips around the head and devoured him. Obi reached a hand down and gripped those blonde strands. At a particularly hard suck he pulled on the hair in his grip. Rex moaned around him at the tug. They locked eyes. A pair of beautiful dilated eyes peered back at him under hooded lids.

He was one of the most beautiful creatures Obi-Wan had ever seen. He was completely lost in what he was doing. Rex reached up and grabbed the hand in his hair putting pressure on it. Through the bond Obi could see what he wanted. “You want me to control this?” Rex popped off him for a moment.

“Yes please, guide me,” his voice was deep with desire and rumbling through Obi-Wan.

“If you need me to stop you grab my wrist okay?”

“Yes Cyare.” Obi pushed Rex’s head back down to his cock. He started to control the pace moving Rex’s head up and down. Rex was lost, his eyes rolled back and closed. He was a vision, if Obi-Wan wasn’t totally in love before, he was certain now. This was his man, his strength, his light. He was beautiful, strong, loving, gentle, and a minx. And he wanted Obi-Wan. How’d he get so lucky?

He could feel his end approaching quickly. “Mmm baby I’m close,” Rex sucked harder. “Are you sure?” Rex moaned in agreement around him. The vibrations caused his end to barrel toward him faster. He moved Rex faster, finally tipping over the edge his vision whiting out. When he finally came back down to himself Rex popped off him and licked his lips. “Force Rex you wicked thing. That was amazing.”

“Are you sure? I didn’t freak you out with the head pushing thing?” Rex seemed unsure of himself for a minute.

“No it was delicious. The faces you made were so sexy.” Rex chuckled at him.

“I was worried it wasn’t going to be very good. I’ve only ever done that to a man once before, a long time ago.” Obi-Wan took his hand and drew him down to him. “I love when someone controls me like that. It lights me on fire.”

“It was perfection, thank you for trusting me.” Obi-Wan locked lips with his lover, tasting himself on Rex’s tongue. The flavor was exquisite, he snuck his hand down to the pronounced tent in Rex’s pants. He grabbed it causing Rex to groan. “Now I think I have to taste this.” He pushed Rex back to his feet and stripped him.

A hand on his wrist stopped him. “You don’t have to love, I’m okay of you don’t.” Rex’s eyes and voice were gentle. Obi-Wan smiled and placed a little kiss to his lips.

“No I don’t have to but I want to.” He laughed and dropped his voice to a sultry octave. “It would be a travesty to not get to taste this.” Goosebumps broke out all over Rex’s body his the tone of Obi-Wan’s voice. His body was gorgeous, broad muscled shoulders, firm pecs, washboard abs, and a delicious v that was pointing Obi straight to his destination. Adorning his gorgeous chest were two tattoos. Right over his heart was a phrase in mando’a: always alive in my soul. Crisscrossed all over his chest and arms were scars. It was beautiful. On the tops of his pecs were his jaig eyes. He kissed and bit his way to his prize stopping to give Rex’s chest some love. “You are so beautiful. I love your tattoos.” Rex had his hands buried in Obi-Wan’s hair tugging on it every now and then.

Obi-Wan was on his knees in front of Rex ready to suck his soul out. He pulled his pants down, his gorgeous cock sprung out and slapped against his stomach. It was thick , he couldn’t wait to choke on it. He looked up at Rex who was hanging onto him for dear life. He tasted him from stones to tip. He was delicious, Obi-Wan wrapped his lips around the head and dove. He let the girth fill his mouth, the silky flesh sliding over his tongue. He was addicted, one taste of this man and he was a goner.

He looked up at his man, his beautiful face was lifted up toward the ceiling. The look on his face, was unlike anything he had ever seen. He was stunning and Obi-Wan was in love. He wrapped a hand around what he couldn’t fit in his mouth and ravished Rex. “I’m-fuck-I’m not going to last Cyare.” Obi-Wan moaned around him the vibrations making the fingers in his hair tighten. Obi-Wan redoubled his efforts, Rex’s moans were growing deeper.

He looked down at him, they locked eyes as Obi went the entire way to the root. He spilled into his mouth. Rex was gorgeous when he came, Obi-Wan couldn’t tear his eyes away. He milked his man dry not missing a drop. “You have got to be one of the most exquisite creatures I’ve ever seen.” He stood up and wrapped his arms around his man. Rex buried his blushing face into Obi-Wan’s neck.

“I wouldn’t pegged you as a bullshitter Obi-Wan Kenobi.” Obi-Wan laughed out loud.

“I am not you are a lovely man.” He pulled Rex’s face up to lock eyes. “And I am one of the luckiest in galaxy to have those beautiful eyes look at me like that.” Rex stared back into his eyes, the air between them snapping with electricity. More often than not he noted that they couldn’t look away from each other. Like the force was dragging their eyes together. Rex leaned down and dragged him into a deep kiss.

“I love you. I will spend the rest of my life loving you.” Rex pulled away “Now we have a date don’t we?”

The date part 2!!!!!! There’s some dirty bits in here you’ve been warned. These two cannot keep their hands off each other idk what you want me to do.

They’re in love your honor. I rest my case. There’s some kink discussion in this so keep that in mind. Some context so you all know going in which I will elaborate on. Fives and Echo are working on their trauma separately and trying to come back together as better people. Give them time.

Chapter Text

Soft singing floated out of the bathroom and into Rex’s ears. He closed his eyes and smiled at the pretty sounds, relaxing into his perch on the chaise by the open balcony door. Way up here on the four hundredth and twenty seventh floor the traffic was far away. It was peaceful almost, of course it didn’t compare to their beautiful home on Naboo. The breeze was soft and it settled over him like an airy blanket. He was feeling a lot of special emotions right now.

He was in love and the person he was in love with was falling in love with him too. He felt the baby inside the love of his life move. He felt the life inside Obi-Wan, heard how the force sang around her. It was incredible, he was speechless. He hoped that maybe Obi-Wan would let him step into the role of a dad, he wanted it so badly. He already felt a deep connection to her, and he loved her. He couldn’t wait to meet her, to be a father to her.

His breath hitched for a moment. Would Obi-Wan let her call him Buir? He’d never wanted anything more in his life. Was he getting ahead of himself? Maybe. But he knows how he feels and what he wants. Ever since he realized that weird little feeling in his stomach every time Obi-Wan smiled at him was love. Perhaps that’s his flaw? When he loves something he feels it deep in bones. With his entire body. Heartbreak, joy, love all of it with his entire soul.

The distant sound of a horn blaring pulled him from his musings. He opened his eyes not realizing he’d closed them, and looked over at the room. Obi-Wan was sitting on the edge of the chaise, smiling at him. “I didn’t want to disturb you, but you looked so peaceful I couldn’t help but watch you a little.” He was dressed and ready to go. His hair, which had grown longer, was artfully mussed and hanging around the middle of his ears. His shirt was a deep blue that paired well with his blue eyes and set his copper hair a blaze. The shirt was tight on top and long sleeved, showing off his broad shoulders and toned arms. The neckline was low, ending in a v that stopped in the middle of his pecs. Scars and old battle wounds peaked out across his chest. Glittering in the v was a blue stone set in beskarr, that Tech had made him years ago. The waist of the shirt wasn’t tight but he wasn’t hiding his bump. He wore a pair of black pants tucked into knee high shiny black boots. His fingers glittered with a few rings Rex had seen him wear before. Completing the look was two blue gems tucked gently into his earlobes.

“Mesh’la,” Rex whispered to him. His cheeks turned pink at his words. “What a thing to come back to.” He reached out a hand and laid it gently on Obi-Wan’s cheek. He was so beautiful to Rex, in the traditional and untraditional sense. Cyan eyes, a straight nose, high cheekbones, square jaw, and pretty lips. However his real beauty was the softness in his eyes. The soft smiles, soft touches, his heart was giant and he loved fiercely. He ran his thumb up and down over those high cheekbones. Tracing over the pattern of his freckles. They raced across Obi-Wan’s cheeks and down his neck like shooting stars. He ran his thumb over his plump bottom lip and in the cleft of his chin, continuing down his neck and resting on his necklace. “This the one Tech made you?” Obi-Wan smiled.

“I’ve barely gone anywhere without it in two years.” Rex chuckled.

“You know he more than likely put a tracker in it.”

“Oh I’m counting on it.” Obi-Wan’s laugh was warm and sounded like home to Rex. He leaned forward and pulled him into a soft kiss. Once they parted Obi shooed him into the bathroom to get ready.

The restaurant they went to was lovely. All dim warm mood lighting, pretty music, and five star food. They were greeted at the door by a Pantoran host in a suit. “Good evening Captain Rex and Master Kenobi, your booth is this way.” Their host led them through a relatively crowded dining hall, all arranged around a center stage. Their booth was in a private corner with a great view. A small lamp lit the space with a soft yellow light, giving the feeling of warmth. “Is this to your liking sirs?” The host asked them.

“It’s lovely, thank you.” Obi-Wan replied and he and Rex took their seats. The host set down menus with drinks in front of them.

“Your server shall be with you shortly.” He bowed and returned to his post in the front.

“Rex this place is incredible,” here in the low warm light his man was a vision. The light captured the blonde in his copper hair and danced across his freckles. His eyes were slightly more green in here, and his long dark lashes cast shadows over them.

“You are so beautiful,” he whispered, smiling at the blush creeping across Obi’s cheeks. He reached out and took Rex’s hand bringing it to his lips.

“Then we must make quite the pair, because I can’t take my eyes off you beautiful boy.” His voice was suave and charming, running into Rex’s ears like honey.

“Wow, I never thought I’d get the famous Negotiator voice used on me. You’re making me blush.” He flirted back, causing Obi-Wan to chuckle.

“Good evening gentlemen,” a pretty young human woman interrupted them. “I’ll be your server tonight, can I get you started with drinks?” Obi-Wan looked at him with wide eyes and an embarrassed smile.

“We haven’t even had a chance to look yet.” Rex laughed.

“Might I recommend the Nabooian spiced brandy, or the Pantoran wine? They pair splendidly with our meals this evening. The Nabooian Shaak done medium rare over a bed of Aakaash potatoes. Or the Kaminoan air shrimp over a bed of noodles with a special house dressing.”

“I’ll do the brandy with the Shaak.” Rex said after pondering it for a moment. Obi-Wan ordered the opposite with a nonalcoholic champagne. Once they got their drinks they toasted each other and got lost in each other’s company. They shared their meals with one another. Then once they were finished they turned their attention to the orchestra on stage. Once they got their bill Rex paid and escorted his date outside to a waiting taxi. “One more place this evening, if you’re feeling up to it?”

“Of course,” Obi-Wan cuddled close to him in the back of the taxi. Rex had an arm around him, his hand resting on Obi’s hip. “I hope you don’t mind but I really want a holo of us.”

“I’d love that Cyare,” they put their heads together and Obi snapped the holo. The colored picture that looked back at them was special. They both looked so happy, joy reflecting outwards. The taxi finally stopped at 79’s and Obi-Wan let out an excited laugh.

“Is everyone here? I missed them.”

“The boys are here Cyare. I told them we’d be coming,” they hopped out of the taxi and were halfway to the door when a shout stopped them.

“Obi!” He was quickly swarmed by the 212th boys. Wooley wrapped him in his arms and squeezed him, Gregor squeezing him next.

“How’s the Ik’aad?” Waxer and Boil appeared out of the throng.

“She’s strong.”

“She? Oya!” A loud cheer sounded out from the boys. They pounded their fists against their chests in a chant. Rex swooped in wrapped an arm around Obi-Wan’s waist.

“Are you okay with PDA in front of them? Are we telling anyone about us?” He whispered in Obi’s ear feeling slight nervousness fill him. What if Obi didn’t want anyone to know about them? Maker he didn’t know how he would feel about that.

“Of course Rex. I’ll yell it from the rooftops if you want.” Rex pressed a kiss to his temple as relief filled him.

“I owe you a dance, pretty.” He threaded their fingers together and pulled him along. “Come on Cyare.” He felt his chest fill up with pride at the looks they got from the vode. The music was already bumping when they walked in, drinks flowing and people everywhere.

“Wow,” Obi-Wan’s whisper caught his ears.

“This is a hot spot now, of course it’s mainly for vode but the boys don’t mind the crowd.” He grinned at Obi-Wan.

“Cap!” He looked over the throng of people to the bar. Leaning against it with his drink in the air waving him over was Fives and Jesse. He pulled Obi along as they waded through the crowd. He was filled to the brim with excitement, he missed his boys. Jesse wrapped him up in a giant bear hug and held him tightly. Then he grabbed Fives and squeezed him tightly. “I see you’ve finally won your redhead.” Pride filled him at that.

“Yeah,” he said back “he’s mine now.”

“I’m happy for you. You look good Cap, healthy like I’ve never seen you before.” They let go of each other. “Now let’s get drunk!” He flicked his eyes to Obi-Wan, “With your permission of course.” Rex turned to Obi-Wan. The blue lights turned his hair black and his eyes were twinkling.

“Of course you can, I’ll supervise.” Rex wrapped his arms around his boy.

“I won’t get too drunk but I want to dance with you,” Rex pulled back and kissed his forehead. Soon he was pulled away to dance with Wooley.

Rex was definitely kinda drunk by this point. Wooley had spun Obi around the dance floor a few times, passing him to Gregor then to Waxer and Boil. He couldn’t take his eyes off of Obi-Wan. He was a gorgeous man in any lighting any setting. Though Rex may be biased he adored him. He watched as the boys and Obi were laughing and dancing. It filled his heart with joy to see his family like this. He crossed the room and popped the 212th bubble that had formed. “Wooley my man do you mind if I interrupt?”

“Take your Cyare Cap, he’s all warmed up for ya.” Obi laughed at him and hugged Wooley. The lights were dancing off of him, and Rex was breathless. He gathered him up and pressed him close.

“Gods, you’re so beautiful I don’t have words.” Obi pressed his front closer baby bump resting gently against Rex.

“I love you.” He whispered back, setting Rex’s slightly drunk mind on fire. He pressed a kiss to those sweet lips.

“I love you more.” He spun Obi around and pressed his back to his front. “You turn me on, I’m going to explode.” He whispered in his ear.

“You’re drunk.” That pretty voice laughed out at him.

“Maybe a little, but the truth is the truth,” The song grew sultry and fast paced. He wrapped his hands around Obi’s hips and ground him back. He pressed kisses and nips along his neck. He trailed up to his earlobe giving it a nip, this caused his lover to moan and grind against him harder. “You like that don’t you sweet boy.” He kept up the sultry dance for two more songs before he couldn’t handle it anymore. “Obi-Wan,” he moaned in his ear. He spun around and wrapped his arms around Rex’s neck.

“You wanna get out of here?”

“Please.” They barely made it out the door of the bar before Rex had to taste him. He had to get those lips back on him one way or another. His slightly addled mind wasn’t really thinking of anything but this. Not the fact that he’d pushed someone, whom deserves to be ravished in finery, up against a dirty ass alley wall. He kissed his man breathless, and was just about to dive in for more, when a noise caught his attention. He looked over his shoulder at Fives who’d appeared seemingly out of nowhere. “What are you doing?” He huffed out, slightly irritated that he’d been interrupted.

“I’ve been yelling at you to get a fuckin room for the last like two minutes. Did you not hear me?” Rex felt his face heat up. He’d been so wrapped up in Obi-Wan he’d forgotten that they were in public. He turned his head back to his boy, feeling the blood rush back to his face. Obi-Wan had his face hidden in Rex’s chest.

“Whoops,” Rex laughed.

“Cap, are you sure you’re not drunk?” Fives said through his laughter. Rex gathered Obi-Wan away from the wall. He laced their fingers together and pulled him along, following Fives out.

“Only a little. I couldn’t resist him, he’s got me under his spell Fives. You should feel bad for me, I’m a captive to that gaze.” He laughed as Obi-Wan swatted his chest.

“Oh stop it you.” Their taxi was waiting for them when they made it back to the front of 79’s. Obi-Wan let go of Rex’s hand to hug Fives. “When are you coming to the house? Echo is dying to see you.” Fives ducked his head.

“I didn’t want to presume…” he trailed off.

“Nonsense, my home is your home. You’re always welcome for as long as you’d like.” Fives’ face lit up with a soft smile. “The boys are turning the guest house into their house. I bet Echo would love your input.” Then he quietly added. Fives wrapped him in another hug.

“I’ll come back with you guys. Tomorrow, if that’s alright.”

“Of course! We’ll call you in the morning and pick you up. See you tomorrow sug!” They climbed in the taxi.

“Goodnight Vod!” Rex called out to him waving as they sped away. Once Fives had disappeared Rex took Obi-Wan’s hand and placed it in his lap. He was hard as stone for his man. “Gods you are intoxicating,” he whispered. The taxi was manned by a droid but Obi-Wan rolled up the partition anyway. He stroked Rex through his pants. “Look what you’ve done to me.” He whispered, and captured those lips again.

“That is delicious,” he whispered back against Rex’s lips. “I have an idea,” he pulled him from the confines of his pants and wrapped his lips around him.

“Fuck, that’s it,” he tangled his fingers through soft red hair guiding him gently. “This is, shit, this is so hot,” he grunted out quietly. He stuck a knuckle in his mouth to keep from moaning. He was already close given that he’s been half hard for hours. Plus the situation they were in itself he was already on edge. “I’m close baby,” he whispered. Suddenly the cab came to a halt.

“You’ve arrive at your destination,” the robotic voice sounded from the front. Rex groaned in frustration, he had been just on the edge. Obi-Wan paid while he adjusted himself. They walked into the lobby hands entwined and into the elevator.

“I’m going to fucking explode,” he whispered in Obi-Wan’s ear.

“I want you to have my mouth when we get into our room. I mean have it.” Goosebumps broke out all over Rex’s skin. Those beautiful cyan eyes were dilated with arousal. Rex felt his blood hit a boiling point. The elevator arrived at their floor and he followed behind Obi-Wan. Ogling that perfect ass the whole way. He was getting desperate, he didn’t know what he wanted but he wanted it. Needed it. The walk to the room felt like hours. Once the were inside and the door was shut he pounced on his man. He had no control over his mouth at this point.

“You want me to fuck that pretty mouth hmm?” He slapped his hands over his mouth. “Oh force I don’t know where that came from.” He looked at Obi-Wan who was staring back at him, his eyes had gone feral. Primal. His chest had begun to heave.

“I need you,” his voice was low and breathy. He walked over to the bed stripping as he went. Laying down and hanging his head over the edge. “Captain please,” Rex’s mind whited out. With a growl he stalked over to Obi-Wan and took his mouth roughly. Bordering on the edge of something feral and primal. He didn’t last and neither did Obi-Wan.

“What the hell was that?” Rex laughed after they had come down from their highs. “Did we just discover some kinks?” Obi-Wan was curled up against his chest.

“I’d say we did. When you spoke to me like that my brain just shut off I had to have you.” Obi-Wan sat and looked at him. “Anyone else talked to me like that I’d probably punch them, but you…” he trailed off for a moment. “Hearing that come out of your mouth could stop me mid battle I swear it.” Rex laughed.

“The captain thing is new. I never considered it in a sexual way. It lit me on fire though damn. And shit if that’s all it took I’d have done it years ago.” Obi-Wan rolled his eyes and swatted his chest.

“Yeah yeah,” he stood up and threw on one of Rex’s shirts. “Though I almost wish you had.” Rex watched him walk into the kitchen area, that’s another regret to add to the list.

Chapter 4: Galavanting

Summary:

His comm beeped startling him out of his meditation. He answered, Rex’s face lighting up the screen. “Hey baby are you alone?”

Notes:

Okayyyyyyyyyyy this took too long to get out. I have this affliction called Swiss cheese brain. Where I’m like hell yeah it’s chapter writin time then I pull up my notes app and BOOM it’s gone.

Brain.exe has stopped working.

Then after I’ve admitted defeat and gone to do something else. The windows boot up noise sounds. It’s a never ending cycle. *facepalm*

Anywhoooooo the inspo for the outfit will be listed below. Also I’ve been thinking about what their singing voices sound like. Obvi we know Ewan McGregor sings and that’s what Obi sounds like but Rex it’s been harder to pin him down. I’m thinking like a mixture of stone sour: looking at you through the glass and Jvke: golden hour as well as the pinksweat$. And I’ve decided that Rex plays whatever the starwars equivalent to a piano is.

So enjoy this FLUFF

Chapter Text

Sunlight pouring in through the balcony windows roused him from his sleep. It was a good sleep, restful, deep, and full of beautiful dreams. He never stopped to realize how full his life truly was. The war took a great many things from him, but in a way it gave many things back. Without it he wouldn’t have the family he has now.

He wouldn’t have known a love like these ones. He had loved Cody so deeply. He didn’t doubt that, at one time, Cody had returned his love. His heart was broken though, his soul was damaged. In a way that Obi-Wan didn’t understand. Perhaps maybe someday he would, and someday maybe Cody would come home, to meet his daughter and be a part of their lives. However his heart no longer belonged with Cody. There would always be a part of him that loves Cody, he would always occupy a part of Obi-Wan’s soul. It was because of Cody’s love that opened him to where he is now.

Rex was his everything. He gave him courage to be better to do better. He always had, and he has always been there beside him. He felt like he could take on anything as long as Rex was with him. He knew that no matter where he went or no matter what would happen, Rex would always be with him. He never thought of Rex that way before. He had always thought Rex was beautiful, with his shinning blonde hair, soft, warm, honey brown eyes, and loving smiles. He had always thought that Rex and Chuchi were a strong couple.

He never knew that he was the object of Rex’s affection. He still doesn’t understand it, how Rex could be so taken with him. He wasn’t the person he pretended to be, Rex saw that. He saw him in his most vulnerable, most weak, and he still loved him regardless. He took a broken, traumatized, person who was pregnant with another man’s baby, and loved him anyway. He was an incredible human, and Obi-Wan had the honor of his love.

He didn’t have words to express how grateful he was. He turned his head to look behind him. Rex was fast asleep breathing deeply. He was cradled in his arms, with Rex’s chest pressed tightly against his back. His hand cradling his bump protectively.

Technically she didn’t “belong” to Rex although DNA would state that she could. That didn’t seem to matter to him though. Rex was already in love with the baby, and he was ready to see Rex take on that role. He knew that no matter what that baby would always have a home with Rex. That he would love her and care for her always. He took a deep breath and fell into the force. He meditated over his bond with Rex, it was strong and pulsing, a deep cobalt blue. They hadn’t made a soul bond just yet but this was close to it.

‘Thank you,’ he whispered to the force as it surrounded him. ‘You gave him to me, my life has been so full with him. With all of them, I needed them, they saved me.’ It was soft around him, gentle and soothing.

Be at peace child, you are cared for, you are loved,’ he came out of his morning meditation to find that Rex was still sleeping. The sunlight had shone in through the window and landed on the sleeping man’s tan face. It danced in his long, dark, lashes casting shadows over his high cheekbones. From this angle he could see that Rex’s lashes were blonde at the beginning, and black at the end. His proud chiseled nose, sloping lips, and sculpted jawline were perfection in this light. There was a small faint scar bisecting his bottom lip. The early morning sun had turned his longish, platinum blonde waves into spun gold. The contrast between the darks and the lights on his face were breathtaking.

He was shirtless and had one shoulder peaking out of the covers. His tattoos creating another dark contrast on his body. One tattoo crawled across a bulging scarred bicep. As well as the jaig eyes on his pecs, dancing with the numerous scars there. Obi-Wan’s eyes landed on a specific scar. It looked like a lightsaber wound. That stopped him for a moment, he had no recollection of this. There seemed to be a blank spot in his memory when he looked at it. Something niggled at him but he couldn’t place it. The moment passed him, and he moved on.

This creature was absolute perfection to Obi-Wan. His heart swelled as he studied him. He had fallen so in love with him. Not that it was difficult, it was one of the easiest things he’d ever done. Rex was easy to love, impossible not too. The only thing that would make this better is, if those beautiful honey brown eyes opened to smile at him.

Obi-Wan carefully climbed out of bed as his bladder began demanding his attention. He was thinking about breakfast as he finished up, not that he wasn’t always thinking about food these days. He walked into the kitchen area and ordered room service with the works. He fluttered about the kitchen getting ready for the food. He wanted to wake his Captain up with breakfast in bed. A soft knock sounded around fifteen minutes after he ordered. He grabbed the big cart of breakfast food, tipped the server and bustled about.

He set up a tray on the cart and pushed it into the bedroom. Rex was in the same position not having moved an inch. The server had included very fragrant flowers on the cart much to his enjoyment. He walked over to Rex’s side of the bed and reached out to gently touch his shoulder. His skin was warm to the touch and Obi-Wan couldn’t help but run his fingers over it. Goosebumps raised on Rex’s arm causing the dusting of hair there to stand on end. He leaned over and pressed his lips to Rex’s ear softly.

“Wake up Cyare,” he whispered. Getting a grunt from Rex. “Wake up.” He kissed his cheek and head. Those pretty eyes opened, and locked with his. Those lips stretched into a sleepy soft smile. The early morning light turned his eyes into liquid honey. He rolled onto his back and stretched, his muscles moving under his skin.

“Good morning Cyare,” his voice husky with sleep. “What smells so good?” Obi-Wan placed his hand on Rex’s cheek running his thumb over his cheekbone.

“Force you’re beautiful,” Rex’s face turned red “I got us breakfast. Sit up for me my dear.” Rex scooted up and propped himself against the headboard. His sleepy eyes following Obi-Wan as he grabbed the cart and brought it over. He picked up a tray and placed it over Rex’s lap.

“Thank you for getting us breakfast baby,” his gentle voice filled the room. He poured some caf and set the vase of flowers at the edge for him. “Obi,” he brought the flowers up to his nose and smelled them. “This is so nice thank you.” Obi-Wan climbed up into the bed next to Rex with his own tray. Rex leaned over and captured his lips in a loving kiss. “You didn’t have to do all this.”

“Shush, you are such a light in my life, let me feed you,” he teased him jokingly as his tea steeped. The room was filled with delicious aromas and the force was at peace. Rex switched on the holo and found them a movie to watch. His baby was kicking up a storm as he finished up his pancake. He set his hand on his bump with a laugh. “Do you like pancakes little one?” A tan skinned hand joined his.

“Wow she’s on the move in there,” he grabbed two of his pancakes out of his stack and set them on Obi’s plate. “You better have more than Cyare, gotta keep the boss happy.” Obi-Wan happily poured syrup over them and ate them quickly. He was still starving after all that so he moved on to the rest and devoured it, slightly embarrassed over his lack of manners.

“Cyare?” Rex’s voice carried out of the fresher and over to Obi-Wan.

“What is it?”

“Can you come in here for a second?” Obi-Wan stood from his perch and padded into the fresher. The steam from the running water filled the room. The glass door of the fresher was fogged and he could just barely make out Rex’s silhouette.

“What is it my darling?” the door opened and Rex in all his wet glory stood there beneath the spray. The water was pouring down his chiseled chest, and onto his muscular thighs. The water had turned the blonde hair on his body a honey brown color. Obi-Wan was star struck, he was glorious. He wanted to chase the water droplets with his tongue. He beckoned him closer.

“Join me?” He whispered to him. Obi-Wan undressed quickly, taking Rex’s outstretched hand. The hot water cascaded down his front turning his stiff muscles to jelly. He moaned relaxing into Rex’s big arms. He turned them and let the water run on Obi’s back and wet his hair. They took their time with each other, slowly washing each other’s bodies. Followed up by tasting each other.

Once they had finished their “fresher session” they moved on to getting ready for the day. Rex’s hair care routine fascinated Obi-Wan to no end. All the bottles and tubs of various creams and such, to help keep his gorgeous curls soft, was vast. He sat on the edge of the sink and happily watched him. “You know it ain’t cheap being this stunningly beautiful all the time Cyare,” he teased.

“Oh I’d pay every credit I had to keep you happy beautiful.” He laughed.

“Well luckily for you, you don’t have to pay a cent to keep me happy.”

“Fives?” Rex’s voice sounded as he spoke into the holo.

“I read you Cap!” Fives’ smiling face lit up the screen.

“We’re gonna do some shopping before we leave. Someone is getting a bit too preggo for their clothes.” Obi-Wan chucked a pillow from the couch at Rex, bonking him in the head. Fives’ laugh was infectious and soon they were all chuckling. “You see what I have to deal with?”

“Oh yes I’m sure it’s awful for you,” Fives’ laughing voice filled the air. “I’ve got a few more things to catch up on I’ll meet you soon!” They said their goodbyes and hung up. Obi-Wan studied Rex from across the room, he was bustling around gathering up their things. He was singing softly to himself, he disappeared from view as he went into the bedroom.

Obi-Wan zoned out for a bit as he began to grow tired. His little one was wearing him out.

“You really want me to try this on?” Rex was holding up an outfit that Obi-Wan had grabbed for him. It was a fitted black shirt with buttons that started at his waist, leaving his pecs exposed. A black leather jacket for over top, and a pair of straight leg fitted black pants with cobalt stitching. Obi-Wan added a pair of long toed black ankle boots to go with.

“Yes I do, it’s going to look amazing on you,” Rex huffed at him and went into the dressing room to change. Obi-Wan smiled and rolled his eyes, Rex was shaping up to be a bad shopping partner. He didn’t want to buy anything for himself. Content to hold the bags and follow behind, not content to be in the spotlight.

Obi-Wan sat down heavily on the cushioned bench outside of the dressing stall Rex was in. He could hear the zippers and the thunks of Rex’s things being sat down or taken off. Plus the slightly irritated grumbling of the man in question. Which proceeded to make Obi smile wider.

The man was adorable, what else could he say?

Soon the door opened and out walked Captain Rex of the 501st. The clothes fit him like a glove, giving him an air of danger. The shirt hugged his muscles and showed off his tattoos, and extenuated his little waist. The pants hugged his muscular thighs and gave shape to his calves. The boots gave him an air of extreme sophistication. His grumpy face and scrunched nose however shattered the façade. Obi-Wan stood up and directed him over to the full length mirror. He put the leather jacket on him helping him put his arms through it. “Look at you,” he said his voice growing husky. “Force you’re so handsome it hurts.” He reached down and softly grabbed one of the perfect globes of Rex’s firm ass. That got a smirk out of the grump.

“Yeah yeah, you need to get your eyes checked. Or stop being a liar,” the slight blush on his cheeks told Obi-Wan that, he wasn’t as over it as he pretended.

“Why don’t you believe me?” He asked him , resting his chin on the man’s shoulder.

“Because I have eyes.” His dead pan voice drew a laugh out of Obi. He turned his head and kissed Rex behind his ear, and wrapped his arms around Rex’s slim waist, as best he could.

“You have such a tiny waist, it’s so sexy, and this ass? Yum,” he pulled away and gave him a nibble on his earlobe and a quick pat on the bum. Rex spun around and drew him close.

“You better behave yourself Master Kenobi,” he put his lips to Obi-Wan’s ear. “Or I’m going to bend you over this bench.” He got a full body shiver from the huskiness of Rex’s voice. The words caused heat to pool low in his belly. At his tremble Rex smirked “You like leather is that it? Or do you like it when someone is a little mean to you?” His fucking head was going to explode. He was High Jedi General Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Negotiator, known for keeping his cool. He was practically about to suck Rex off in the fucking dressing room in a public store. The things this man did to him was unreal. He could make him go from feeling deeply in love to horny as hell in five seconds.

“You have the voice of a siren I swear to the force.” His voice was breathy, “You in that outfit, your voice, and the dirty things you say…. Force Rex,” he all but moaned back.

“Are you finding everything alright sirs?” A tiny yellow twi woman stuck her head in. They sprang apart, Rex’s face went the deepest shade of crimson Obi had ever seen. He turned to her and activated the Negotiator.

“Yes my dear thank you so much for checking in. We’ll be just a moment more,” his voice went suave as he subtly convinced her to leave them alone.

“Just let me know if I can get you anything!”

“Thank you dear!” She disappeared around the door again. Rex had one hand on the wall and the other hiding his face.

“For the love of..” he trailed off, walking into the changing stall. Soon he was back out in his regular clothes, face still red. “The things you do to me. You got me acting foolish in public, first the bar now a dressing room.” He was chuckling. “However,” he drew Obi close again, putting his nose against his ear, “Maybe I would’ve kept you bent over this bench anyway. Whether she was there or not.” He punctuated that statement by biting Obi-Wan’s earlobe. Goosebumps traveled up and down his arms.

The extinguished heat in his belly reignited. He shivered and moaned. “You are…” he took a breath, his body betraying him. He turned and looked into that smirking face. The devilish part of his brain activated. He was going to give something back to this siren. He ran a finger down Rex’s chest stopping at his waist band. “Promises promises captain,” he snapped the waist band of Rex’s pants. He started to walk away gathering up the clothes he had Rex try on. “I’m holding you to that,” he walked out, purposefully swaying his hips.

“Wait what is happening?”

“We have some Nat Borns trying to block our veterans bill and funding in the senate. And they are trying to stop construction of the apartments.” Fox’s grumpy voice sounded out from the comm on Rex’s wrist.

“You’ve got to be fuckin joking,”

“I wish I was but since this was partly your creation, we need you to help present it to the senate.” Rex had an irritated look starting on his face. They were well on their way to pick up Fives, the taxi suddenly seemed too small. “We need you to help, our liaison is Chuchi. She’s busting her shebbs to help us.” Rex pinched the bridge of his nose.

“Alright fine I’ll stay a few extra days to deal with this. See you in a few.” He ended the comm and turned to Obi. He reached out and put his hands on his biceps. “I’m sorry Cyare, I’m gonna have to stay behind and deal with this. Are you going to be okay to take Fives back home?” Obi-Wan looked into his honey brown eyes, his safety, his home.

“I suppose I can share you for a few days,” he purposefully sounded put upon. “Though I will miss you dearly.” He leaned forward and pressed his forehead to Rex’s. “Are you going to be okay to deal with Chuchi? I’d be more than happy to stay with you.” Rex smiled at him.

“You are incredible and I love you for even offering. But you need to relax, take Fives home and get him settled. Then I want you to take a load off. When I get home we can record the song you just finished,” he kissed the tip of Obi-Wan’s nose. “Plus it will be fine, I have nothing but respect for Riyo. She’s doing the best she can for us, I will happily help her.” The taxi came to a stop at the transport station. Standing outside with a few suitcases looking as handsome as ever was Fives.

They got out of the taxi, Rex leaning in and asking the driver to wait. He went around the back and grabbed Obi-Wan’s bags. He felt a sense of sadness leaving Rex behind. He’d been with him everyday for the last almost year. “You aren’t coming with Cap?” Fives questioned as only one set of bags were set down.

“I have to go fight with the senate for our apartments and rights again apparently.” He rolled his eyes. “Don’t look so sad baby, I’ll be home in two days at the max, I promise.” Obi knew he was giving him a look.

“I can’t help it I haven’t been apart from you in almost a year,” Rex took his hands.

“I will call you every night, don’t worry you won’t even notice I’m gone.” He leaned in and kissed him. Their lips pressing together tightly. “I love you Cabuor. And you better make sure he gets home safely,” he pointed at Fives who raised his hands in mock surrender.

“Yes sir!”

“I love you too Kotir.” They boarded their ship. From the window he could see Rex waving them off. Fives reached over and took his hand.

“He’ll be back before ya know it vod,” Obi-Wan smiled at him. He watched as he grew smaller and smaller as the ship pulled away. Once he was out of sight he leaned over and laid his head on Fives shoulder.

“I’m a sap what can I say.” Fives laughed pressed his cheek to Obi’s head.

Chapter Text

Chapter 5

Rex watched Obi-Wan and Fives leave until he couldn’t see them anymore. He wanted nothing more than to go home. He had no idea how Padmé did this. This fucking senate and its nonsense was exhausting. How in the hell was he going back to fight the senate? Again?  He blew a huge sigh out through his nose and climbed into the taxi. “The senate building please.” The droid drive them off weaving through the traffic.

A small bit of pressure was beginning behind his right eye. He pinched the bridge of his nose and blew out a huge sigh.

“This had better be good. Or at least be resolved quickly.” His voice carried out into Fox’s office. “It’s cutting into my retired time. I want to go home with my boyfriend, make music, and be left alone.” Fox turned to him and gave him a withering look.

“Boy, everyone in here is fucking over it. What makes you so special?” Rex smirked at him, knowing Fox was all bluster.

“What can I say I’ve become spoiled in my old age.” Fox pointed at the seat next to him.

“Park it princess.” Rex rolled his eyes and tromped over to the seat. Fox handed him a data pad once he was sitting, affectionately bumping their shoulders together. “Scroll through that bantha shit,” he leaned over and rested his elbows on his knees as he read. It was all council yadda yadda, blah blah political nonsense. Until he reached the third page. A full rescind of the clone rights act and veteran’s credit funds. Some nonsense about the Republic’s debt not being able to support the clones. Then to go on to say that the clones aren’t to be considered sentient.

“How is this even aloud?” he whispered continuing to read this offensive nonsense. His rights as a sentient being were in jeopardy here. The blatant disrespect and racism was settling like a rock in his gut. He slammed the pad down on the desk and buried his face in his hands. He felt an arm wrap around his shoulder. Things he tried to suppress were wrestling to get to the surface.

“I know vod,” his voice rumbled out next to where Rex was hiding his face. He stayed there for a few more moments. Before he stood up and began to pace.

“Those racist, selfish, pricks!” Fox watched him with an amused expression. “How dare they? After everything we gave them? How many of us died so they can sit on their shebs? How many of us died to give them that luxury?”

“That right there is why I need you vod. I need that fire. I need Captain Rex.” There was a soft knock at the door that halted his pacing. “Come in.” The door opened to reveal Senator Chuchi. Her long white hair was styled up in an elegant updo. Two long hair pieces glittering with pink jewels framed her petite face. She was radiant in a pink gown that matched the jewels. She was as beautiful as he remembered her.

“I’m sorry to interrupt gentlemen,” her voice was gentle and soft and familiar.

“Not to worry Senator.” She smiled at Fox.

“It’s good to see you again Rex. I’m glad you could join us.” She smiled politely at him.

“The same to you Senator. I’m glad I can help,”  he winced internally at how awkward this was. The last few times he’d seen her was long ago now.  Her writhing in pleasure underneath him. Then the way her eyes were cold when he pleaded with her for some emotion. The way she kept her eyes down as he left with Fives for the last time. He felt a momentary twinge of sympathy for her. He had everything he could ever want. He had a beautiful home, a big family, and the love of his life. He wondered if she got what she wanted? Or if that was ever in reach for her?

She met his eyes only briefly before dropping them to her feet. Fox seemed to sense the awkwardness and thankfully took over the situation. He walked them through the prompts they needed to use for the senate hearing.

He looked into the mirror for a long time. His blacks had to be let out around the shoulders and biceps. As well as his chest and thighs. He never realized how thin he had been during the war. Regular food and lifting weights had transformed him. He couldn’t deny that he looked good. He looked healthy and strong, broad and well muscled. He let his hair grow out. It curled around his ears and hung handsomely over his forehead. His hair didn’t curl quite as tightly as most of his brothers did.

Whatever mutation caused him to have blonde hair also caused a looser curl. His hair had always been manageable. It was easy to braid, when he was a tubie Cody would braid it into sections before training. Whereas Cody’s hair would turn wild in a matter of minutes. It’s why he always kept it cropped short and Rex was more than likely shaved bald. Curls plus war equals massive disaster. Fox had braided his hair into rows to get it to fit under his Commander’s cap. Seeing the braids caused Cody to fill his mind again. Maker above he missed him. He was equal parts desperate to see him and loathe to see him. Deep down he knew that he would give a lot to be near him again. Even just for a moment.

He prayed to whomever was listening that Cody would forgive him. He was taking his family away from him. Taking his Cyare and his ad. Replacing him so to speak. He wasn’t sure if Cody still had the right to call them that. But either way he was betraying one of his best friends, one of his closest brothers. Cody haunted him often, and he was sure he haunted Obi too. Rex felt a pang of betrayal and hurt.

He walked out on them, walked out on Rex. Left him behind without so much as a word. It had been hard enough to watch him love Obi-Wan, agony to see what chaos he had left in his wake. His mind went back to a moment when he’d almost lost Fives. Had Anakin not thought quickly Fives would’ve died. Then to find out about the chips, how they’d been betrayed and used. He leaned heavily on Cody at that time. He was traumatized by that, that pain was immeasurable. Cody carried him through it, held his head above water. But he hadn’t let Rex return the favor.

Rex both disliked and loved him, forgave him and despised him. He wanted to both hold him in a bone crushing hug, and he wanted to fight him. Sometimes when he closed his eyes he saw his brother as he had been. Extremely talented, intelligent, steadfast, and kind. The sparkle in his eyes when they passed their training exercises on Kamino. The way that Jango looked at him with pride. When he was given his name Kote, glory. The pride he felt for him when he was assigned to the 212th Attack Battalion. Commander to the one and only Obi-Wan Kenobi, their talent, intelligence, and prowess equally matched.

The pride and joy in Cody’s eyes when Rex received his name Kotir, brave, and when he received his jaig eyes from Jango. He wanted to make Cody proud, his Cody, not whoever had taken over him now. They were never one without the other. The sun and the moon always orbiting each other always near. When they were just little tubies, Rex would crawl out of his bed and sneak over to Cody. In the morning they’d be found curled around each other. Two ends of a magnet always drawing together. He had been his other half, but he left him behind.

But he was sure that he would never see that look ever again. They would never be close like that again. He traded it for that look in Obi-Wan’s eyes. That sweet perfect look of love, it made his heart pound. The touch of his fingers and his lips, it was worth it to Rex. Seeing him smile and hearing his laugh, Rex would do it all again. Obi-Wan pale and thin, eyes dull and lifeless flashed into his mind for a moment. Betrayal filled his heart again.

He didn’t realize he was crying until the plink of tears on his vambraces filled his ears. He came back to himself. His eyes were full and red rimmed. He realized in that moment he was mourning his brother. Or who he had known his brother to be. Their relationship was forever altered, forever damaged. His happiness would be the direct result of his brother’s pain, and vice versa. Would he ever be able to hug his brother without pain ever again? Did he even want to? Would Cody ever come back to them? Did he even still feel the same about Obi? His heart squeezed painfully for a moment. He felt sadness for the little blonde boy who crawled into his brother’s bed after a bad dream.

He felt pain for the boys who were inseparable, for the sun and the moon. For the boys who had only ever lifted each other up never jealous. Never stepping on each other but reaching out a hand to help. Always there to listen and be a shoulder. He thought about his breakup with Riyo. It fucking hurt, it was deep sadness but this? This was a family breakup, how the fuck do you even move past that. He reached up and wiped his eyes, the fabric of his gloves scratchy. It centered him, bringing him back to the present.

He stepped into his boots, secured his pauldron. He took deep calming breaths. He stooped to pick up his helmet, the tally marks and Jaig eyes a reminder of why he was doing this. The comm on his wrist buzzed.

‘Hey Cyare, I know your going up against at lot of people in a few minutes. You can do this, you’re going to kill it out there, you always do. We’ll be watching from home. We love you so much.’

All his fears and sadness melted away. His love always knew what he needed without him even having to ask. He felt strength bolster him and give him confidence. His bond with Obi-Wan was pulsing pleasantly. His comm buzzed again a holo appearing. Echo with Fives’ arm around his shoulders, Tech and Cross, Wrecker and Omega, Ani and Ahsoka, Hunter leant against a wall. All taken as a selfie with Obi smiling at the bottom. His entire family gathered in their living room to cheer him on. Another holo came through a picture of Kix, Jesse, and a bunch of the 501st titled ‘ The Watch Party.’ He felt warmth fill him, that was what he needed to see. Maker he loved them all.

“You ready vod?” He turned to Fox in the doorway the lights of the hallway dancing on the silver in his dark hair.

“Yeah can you snap a holo for me quickly?” Fox rolled his eyes and smiled. Rex smiled with his helmet under his left arm and his right hand giving a thumbs up. Fox sent it to him and he sent it to Obi. ‘Gonna show those Nat borns where the bantha shits! I love you all too. Especially you pretty boy.’ He looked back up at Fox. “The crew is all there watching and some of my boys too.” He sent the photo to Kix and Jesse with a caption: gonna kick some sheb.

“Looks like you’re gonna have to knock ‘em dead, Cap.” There was a commotion behind Fox, and he was muscled out of the way. A tiny heavily pregnant Padmé burst into the room out of breath.

“I’m here!” She rushed over to him, laying her hands on his shoulders. “I got here as quickly as I could. Do you have everything you need? Do you have enough material to use?” She was smoothing down his hair and straightening his pauldron. He reached up and grabbed her flying hands gently.

“I’m okay sweetheart. Take a breath you didn’t have to come. Good maker woman you are way too pregnant to be dealing with this nonsense.” She gave him a look.

“I’m pregnant not disabled. Plus I need to be here with you, you need me trust me.”

“You’ve never let me down my lady.”

He looked around the room from his platform. It was vast and filled with people. Padmé stepped up to his elbow. She was dressed in purple, her baby bump on display elegantly. She was vision as always, her beautiful face glowing. She touched his arm gently and stepped into the spotlight. She began to address the senate. She was powerful and fierce, at the same time as she was intelligent and graceful. She commanded the room, owned the spotlight. She was joined shortly thereafter by Chuchi. Together they made an immovable wall. Rex was reminded in that moment why he had fallen for Chuchi in the first place.

It wasn’t just because she was beautiful. But because of her passion and her kindness. She was so passionate about human rights and peace. She was intelligent and a master at her craft. He was proud of her she came a long way from the shy little thing she had been. A Senator he’d never seen before stood up opposite their representatives, and began to argue his point. After a bit of back and forth Padmé brought her platform back to him and gestured him forward. He stood next to her at attention, his helmet tucked under his left arm. Drawn up to his full height he towered over Padmé. She brought him into the spotlight, the rest of the world drifted away.

“Madam and Lord Chancellor, I request your permission to address the senate as a whole.” The chancellors both dipped their heads to him.

“Request permitted Captain.” Mon mothma stood. “Captain Rex, former Commander of the 501st Regiment, highly decorated veteran of the Grand Army of the Republic, has the floor. You may begin Captain.”

“Thank you madam Chancellor. Good afternoon senators. I stand before you today for the second time, to speak on a matter that should be well and truly resolved.” His voice boomed out clear and strong. “The fact that I am here once again to speak on behalf of my people is shameful. That I am here to once again argue that I and my people be given rights is deplorable.” A heavy silence permeated the room.

“Each and every one of you, whom has petitioned to have our rights revoked and ownership of our lives be returned to the republic, should be ashamed of yourselves. How dare you? How dare you stand there and tell me I am not a person? How dare you demand that I submit myself to slavery after all I have given you.” A deep hush fell over the room, almost as if everyone collectively stopped breathing.

“How many of us died for you? How many of us were permanently damaged for you? We didn’t ask to be made, we didn’t ask for this. You demanded we be made, demanded we be used and demanded we serve . How dare you -“ a voice rose up from the crowd to interrupt Rex. He put up a hand raising his voice as loud as he could. “I did not rescind my time.” Bail spoke up.

“Senator Delak the Captain has the floor. Please remember the decorum of a hearing.” the voice died down.

“Sometimes I lie awake at night wondering what my people would’ve been if they were still here. Needlessly dying for the cause of an evil man. You say we were made for war, made to die, but I ask you, look what we have done.” He directed their attention to their holos on every platform. Rex cycled through art, literature, music, cures, creations, inventions that the clones have made. His voice carried out in the space filling it with steel and truth. The last picture he showed was a photo of himself, Cody, Echo and Fives. “These are my brothers, these are real people,” He highlighted Echo in the center. “He was sent on a rescue mission where he gave everything to save a Jedi. Who died there regardless. We were blessed to find that he had survived but he was left behind. He was a prisoner of war enduring torture that I can’t even imagine. He is one of the bravest men I’ve ever met, I’m honored to call him my brother.” Rex felt his eyes prickle.

“He gave everything for you all sitting here,” he felt the steel fill him again. “You all should be grateful, you are in his debt, a debt you can never repay. Yet you sit here and petition to say that men like him, men like me, don’t deserve to be treated as people. So I say again how dare you?” The silence was deafening, he gave more examples. “Remember these faces, remember the debt you owe us all.” He turned to the chancellors and bowed his head. “I rescind my time thank you Chancellors.” He took a seat, as the chaos ensued. The emotions he’d been stamping down were fighting to get to the surface. Padmé leaned down to his ear.

“That was incredible Rex, I’m so proud of you.” He smiled up at her, she took his hand. “Now let me take the torch.”

They returned to Fox’s office after the petition to remove their rights was denied. Fox shut the door behind them and gathered Rex up into his arms. The hug was strong and it made Rex feel safe. “You did good vod, you showed those bastards.” Rex squeezed him back.

“That brought up a lot of shit I try to ignore everyday,” Fox sat him down in the chair by the desk and laid a gentle hand on his head.

“I know Rex, how about we get something to eat, go back to the barracks with the boys, we can just relax for a bit.” He smiled at Fox.

“That sounds awesome.” He started to remove his armor pieces. Laying them in a neat pile on the floor. Once stripped down to his blacks he sighed.

“What?” Fox looked at him with a small smile and a raised eyebrow.

“Nothing I just miss my boy.”

“Maker above Rex, your boy isn’t gonna die if you don’t rush home.” Fox sat down next to him.

“No but I will.”

“Codependent much?”

“Hey you watch it. I spent too much of the war and after pinning and wishing. I will waste no more time. Plus he’s pregnant and moody,” Rex paused for a second leaning close to Fox. “Pregnant cuddles and sex is the best.” Fox pushed him away with a laugh.

“You’re an animal.”

“Nah, just completely insane.” A knock at the door interrupted their laughter. Fox cleared his throat.

“Come in.” Chuchi entered her hair left to hang around her waist. The jewels woven in catching the lights.

“Sorry to interrupt gentlemen but there is a celebratory dinner, you must attend.” Rex blew a big sigh out of his nose.

“How long do we have until that starts?” Her eyes quickly scanned his body. A small part of him smirked at that. He was only in his blacks and they were skin tight. He knew his body looked good.

“A few hours, enough time to get ready.”

He jumped in a taxi with Fox and headed over to the barracks. His old room just as he’d left it. He opened the closet seeing his dress greys hung in a bag. They probably wouldn’t fit that he was sure of but he’d try anyway. He pulled the bag off the hanger. Grabbing the top he put his arms through, no luck. The shirt was straining over his arms, he sighed and pulled up his comm. Fox’s face highlighted in pale blue appeared. “What?”

“Can you see if there are any extra dress greys, I need an extra large.”

“Uh oh the old outfit doesn’t fit huh? What’s the matter too much junk in the trunk?” Fox laughed at him.

“Yeah eating real food will do that to ya. Now please can you find me one?” Fox rolled his eyes.

“Yeah yeah don’t get your panties an a twist.” The call disconnected. Rex sighed again Fox was a character when he wanted to be. He reached out to try the pants. They were tight as hell on his ass and for damn sure not going to work. He looked at his back side in the mirror, the pants hugged every single ridge and valley. He was happy with the progress he had made on his musculature. He was just about to take them off when something occurred to him. He pulled up his comm again, seeing a few messages.

One from Obi-Wan caught his eye it was sent via their personal encrypted line. He typed in his password and opened the message. You did so amazing out there I’m so proud of you.’ Joy filled him at that, he read on. ‘Watching you school all those pompous pricks was incredibly sexy. I’m hiding in my room because I can’t hide what that did to me. You’re so incredible, all I can think about is your hands all over me. If I was with you I would be waiting for you after on my knees. Just know I’m gonna be missing you all night. When you get back I’m going to jump your bones.’ A photo was attached to the message showing his boy all flustered and hard. Heat shot through him, lighting up his spine and sending all his blood south.

‘Baby, look at you all flustered and worked up. Maker you’re beautiful like that, are you gonna touch yourself for me?’ He typed back feeling excitement rushing through him. Another photo pinged into the thread. His Cyare holding himself hard as a rock.

‘Yes Captain.’ He took a holo of his own hard length trapped in his too tight pants and sent it.

‘Look what you’ve done to me. Now I have to settle for my hand instead of your beautiful body. Such a shame.’ A knock at his door startled him so badly he dropped his comm to the floor.

“Here chunky!” Fox’s voice filtered in. He opened the door slightly reached out and snagged the outfit. Shutting the door with a hollered thanks. He laid the outfit on his bed and scooped up his comm. Unfortunately the startled disturbance caused his blood to travel back to where it belonged. He still opened the messages to see what Obi sent. ‘I miss you.’ His bump was covered in spend, Rex had to get back there. He couldn’t wait to burry himself inside that perfect body.

Two hours into this dinner and Rex’s brain was mush. He hadn’t heard a single thing that was said for the last forty five minutes. His brain was delightfully empty and he had been staring unseeingly as his hands. Padmé squeezed his knee and brought him back to the land of the living. “Why don’t you go get some air Rex? You’ve had a long day.” He looked at her then realized he’d been ignoring people who were speaking to him. He felt hot under the collar suddenly.

“My apologies everyone, I must’ve gotten lost in thought. Easy thing to do these days,” he stood up from the table. “You’ll have to excuse me I’m going to step out.” He bowed his head and made a hasty retreat. Once the cool air hit his face he felt like he could breathe again. He wasn’t meant for this shit. He didn’t understand how Chuchi and Padmé did this all the time and enjoyed it?

He stepped out into the balcony and leaned his elbows on the railing. He was so lost in his own musings he hadn’t noticed when the door opened and someone joined him. “You feeling alright Rex?” The sound of a voice startled him out of his head. He looked over to see Chuchi leaned against the railing next to him. He nodded to her then looked away awkwardly. “I hope you don’t mind me being out here, I was hoping maybe we could talk.” Talk? What could she possibly want to talk about?

“I-uh I suppose we could,” he felt nervous, but he had no clue why. She was quiet for a moment, looking at her hands. The silence was heavy around them.

“I hate the way things ended between us. It’s been heavy on my heart for a long time Rex,” she turned to him, the lights of the city below them reflecting in her eyes, making them twinkle. She was in a red gown with her hair twisted up into a red hair piece. She was lovely as she always was. “I was wanting to apologize for the way I acted. I wasn’t thinking about your feelings, and all this time away has made me realize that I treated you poorly. That wasn’t fair of me to do to you,” her eyes shimmered with unshed sadness and a bit of something he didn’t recognize. “Seeing you brings back a lot of good memories.” He was taken aback.

“I accept your apology and I give mine to you as well. I shouldn’t have lost my temper and left the way I did. But I won’t apologize for trying as hard as I did to keep us together.” Her eyes spilled over. “I do not hold any ill will toward you. Please let us part as friends.” She looked away from him for a moment toward her feet. He moved to leave heading back toward the door when she caught his wrist.

“Please, I’ve missed you so terribly. I can’t tell you how badly it hurt to hear you’ve moved on from us so quickly.” He was shocked for a moment.

“Quickly?” He was incredulous. “What constitutes as quickly for you?”

“You’ve already started a relationship so I hear. You can’t possibly be attracted to Obi-Wan. I figured it was a ploy to get my attention.” she trailed off his holding his wrist. Something about this was horribly wrong.

“I’m not comfortable discussing my personal life with you.” He tried to gently pull his wrist from her grasp, she held firm. Her beautiful face was shiny with tears. His heart clenched painfully, he didn’t want to cause her pain. He knew she didn’t want to cause him pain either, but here they were. They were not a good team, they hurt each other. Their mixture doesn’t work.

“Rex please,”

“Riyo please stop, all we do is hurt each other. Please don’t make this worse.” He was getting desperate to get away. Her grip on his wrist made him feel trapped, made him feel like he had to escape. Her eyes were desperate as they searched his. He hadn’t a clue what she was looking for there. But judging by her increased tears, she didn’t find it. He pulled his wrist again and she didn’t let go her grip becoming impossibly tight. “Let go of me.”

“You can’t tell me you haven’t thought of me. That you haven’t thought of us.” He yanked his wrist out of her grasp roughly.

“Riyo I will warn you one time. You better keep your distance from my partner. I don’t know what has gotten into you, but don’t you disrespect me like that again.” He turned and stormed away from her.

He stumbled back through the balcony doors. He bumped into someone holding an empty tray. He apologized and helped the man back to his feet. “Rex are you alright?” He flinched at the sound of her voice. He turned and made eye contact with Riyo. Who was wearing traditional Pantoran garb, with complicated traditional face paint. How did she go from a red dress and a completely different hairstyle to this in a matter of two minutes? Padmé came up to his side, and whisked him away to a private side room with a door.

“Rex what is going on?”

“Was Riyo out on the balcony with me just a few minutes ago.” Padmé’s face was confused.

“No she’s been beside me the entire meal. What is happening?” He felt the color drain from his face.

“Then who in the void was I just talking too,”

Chapter 6: Hot for a Captain

Summary:

*peaks around the corner* 😅 heyyyyyyyy guys remember me the unreliable narrator 😬. Let me tell y’all what the tea is. My mental health? Trash. My physical health? Trash. My emotional health? Trash. Where I live is pretty remote, and unfortunately it’s known as one of the poorest areas in Appalachia. That means the health care here is abysmal, I had to jump from Dr. to Dr. to finally figure out what the fuck is wrong with me only to find out that my issue causes all these other problems. My original Dr. told me I was fine, even tho I was pretty much begging him to help me. He said and I quote: “you don’t meet the criteria for that you’re fine.” I meet every single criteria 🙄 so I got a new Dr. who went straight into action mode because my issue has progressed so far that I now have to be on meds.

So friends, please be patient with me I am doing the best I can.

Now enough about me:
This chapter was incredible to write. These two are so fucking in love that I could fuckin scream. This chapter is worth the explicit rating my friends. Popcorn and mimosas are free on GrinDEE island enjoy your stay 😉

Chapter Text

They watched with bated breath as the holo screen showed the senate floor. A hush fell over the crowd as someone stood and walked into the light. “Madam and lord Chancellors, I request your permission to address the senate as a whole.” His voice rang out across the space and out of the speakers clear and strong. He was grand, standing there his armor polished and gleaming, his curls braided back and tucked under a commanders hat. His shoulders back, spine ramrod straight, his helmet held beneath his left arm.

Commander Rex stood before the senators, proud and strong. They hung on his words, his passion. Obi-Wan was white knuckling his tea mug completely enraptured by his lover. He hadn’t realized that he was liable to crack the ceramic into dust until Tech gently pried his fingers off it. His whiskey eyes were soft and kind, he flicked his eyes away after a short moment. Rex’s voice rose again with pride as he showcased how talented the clones were. Commanding the space and owning his words with vigor and pride. Even in the pale blue of the holo he was beautiful.

Obi-Wan felt heat build up in his belly. Not only was he proud of Rex, but he wanted him. The memory of those hands on his body, those lips. Force he needed to calm down, not only was Ahsoka here but Anakin and Hunter. They would be able to sense his change in emotion and body temperature. He started a Jedi silent breathing technique, to calm his raging hormones. He had managed to calm himself, listening to Rex’s speech, he could hear the boys around him cheering. The pictures and videos however, sobered them quickly. “I did not rescind my time.” His sharp voice, all Commander Rex rang out over a senator who had interrupted him.

Rex was not interrupted, much like the rest of the commanders in the GAR. His dominating presence quieted the man down. Obi-Wan’s heart was racing again. By the end he was barely hanging on, he spent so much time shielding himself from the other Jedi in the room that he couldn’t calm his emotions.

Once he could sneak away he did, retreating to the safety of his room. He was rock solid and on fire. He sent a dirty photo and caption to Rex, excited to see his response. His comm pinged and he read the message quickly. ‘Baby, look at you all flustered and worked up. Maker you’re beautiful like that, are you gonna touch yourself for me?’ He had to stop himself from moaning out loud. This man did things to him that he couldn’t explain. He sent another photo calling him Captain. He got a photo in response of a pair of skin tight pants barely holding in a sizeable hard on. ‘Look what you’ve done to me. Now I have to settle for my hand instead of your beautiful body. Such a shame.’   Those pants were begging to be ripped off, he needed him so badly. He started a steady rhythm on himself imagining Rex’s hands all over him.

Holding him down and being stern and dominating. Being Captain Rex, a little mean to him and kinda rough. Then he didn’t respond to him right away so Obi-Wan let his brain run wild and soon his end was upon him. He sent the end to Rex, and decided to take a nap waiting for his captain to return to him.

A soft tickle at his ear woke him, it was very very early in the morning, the sun hadn’t rose yet. He turned his head to see his Cyare climbing into bed beside him. He turned over to face him, a deep sense of calm came over him. His peace had returned to him. “It’s really late my love, you should’ve got some rest first.” He was gathered up into a pair of strong warm arms. He snuggled into his lover wrapping his arms around him.

“And miss this? For one more minute? No thank you.” The chest beneath his ear rumbled when he spoke. “I missed you far too much to linger any longer. Padmé wanted to get home as well. Now go back to sleep.” He felt his eyes begin to droop and soon darkness took him again.

He let Rex rest, it was late morning when the blonde finally came down stairs. Obi-Wan was in the studio in the basement writing the last few sentences of a new song. He sensed his man before he saw him, the strong aura of calm that always surrounded him leaked into the basement. As he put the finishing touches to the song a pair of arms wrapped around his middle, and cradled his bump. A chin rested on his shoulder, the scent of Rex surrounded him filling him with a deep peacefulness.

He turned and nuzzled into Rex pressing his lips to his jaw. “Force I’ve missed you.” Rex leaned back pulling him back with him. He looked up into his warm honey eyes.

“I was desperate to get home to you. After those messages you sent.” He leaned down and connected their lips. Obi-Wan turned around and stood up, wrapping his arms around Rex’s neck. He deepened their kiss, Rex ran his hands down his back and rest them on his bum. He squeezed and pulled Obi-Wan flush against him. He was unable to quiet his moan, which was swallowed up by Rex. He moved his lips from Obi-Wan’s mouth and trailed them down his jaw, and nibbled on his neck. He moved back up and nibbled on Obi-Wan’s earlobe. “Cheeky little Jetti working me up before a senate dinner.” He tutted in his ear sending shivers down Obi-Wan’s spine. “I ought to bend you over this desk.”

“Rex,” he was breathless, his body on fire. He needed him desperately, he needed him everywhere. “Please.”

“What beautiful, what do you need.” He whispered in Obi-Wan’s ear, nibbling on his earlobe again. He was going to explode, he didn’t even know what exactly he wanted he just wanted.

“I don’t know, you, everything, something.” Rex grabbed the back of his knees, and hoisted him up onto the desk. He wrapped his legs around Rex’s tapered waist. They were lost in each other’s lips, barely coming up for air. His hands had just begun to snake up Rex’s shirt when a thump from upstairs drew them apart. They rested their foreheads together just breathing, Omega’s happy giggle and Wrecker’s thumping footsteps sounding above them.

“You’re it!” Her happy little voice carried down the stairs.

“Better start runnin!” Obi-Wan breathed out a laugh. Their home was bustling with life and joy all the time, it didn’t leave much privacy however. Rex pulled away a bit, his eyes had darkened to an amber, his cheeks were flushed. His caramel skin was glistening, he was so incredibly beautiful. The low lighting was glinting off his skin and turning his hair to silver. A thump by the top of the stairs pulled his attention away. He turned his head to the side, and his profile was divine in this light. His broad nose, high cheekbones, full lips, the jut of his brow. Obi-Wan traced it starting at his forehead running down the bridge of his nose, his cupids bow, two plump lips, he stopped at his chin. He gripped it gently and pulled his face back to his.

He stroked his cheekbone with his thumb. His other hand was playing with the braids at the base of his neck. A few scars caught the light, glinting silver like his hair. He traced his smile lines, and the gentle crows feet around his almond eyes. He ran his thumb over a dark brow, which was quirked up. “You are a divine creature.” He whispered to him. Rex’s cheeks flushed darker and his eyes flicked down to the side. Rex took his hand and kissed his fingers.

“We will continue this later Cyare.”

Steam poured out the fresher, Obi-Wan opened the door and entered. Hunter and Wrecker took Omega into the city for a movie. Tech was preparing the batch house for his Cyare who would arriving tomorrow. Echo, Crosshair, and Fives went out on the town. They were completely alone, he had a feeling that Hunter knew so he purposely took them out. The batch had unofficially moved into their house the week before. It still needed some finishing touches but they were primarily staying in it.

He knew they’d be sleeping there tonight, if Hunter had any say. He’d have to thank him for this. Music played out of the speaker on the ceiling over Rex’s head. He was naked as the day he was flushed from his tube, he was in front of the mirror pulling out his rows.

His muscular back was peppered with scars, deep lines that looked like the lash of a whip. However there was the scar over where his heart is that suspiciously looked like a light saber burn. He had a blank spot in his memory again. He put his fingers on it when his eyes were drawn to a tattoo. The tattoo wasn’t finished and it looked rather fresh. It was the outline of a light saber, with some flowers around it. As Obi-wan focused on it, all thoughts of the scar flitted out of his head, he realized it was his saber tattooed there. He reached out and traced it gently. “My love, you got my saber tattooed on you? When did you do that?” They locked eyes in the mirror over Rex’s shoulder.

“Crosshair did it for me a few days ago. I meant to tell you about it. I hope you don’t mind, it’s just you always say your saber is your life. You are my life so your saber is a reflection of what you mean to me.” Obi-Wan wrapped his arms around Rex’s middle and kissed the tattoo.

“That is so beautiful Rex. Of course I don’t mind, as long as you don’t mind if I tattoo you on me.” He spun around and cradled his cheeks.

“You’d tattoo me on your skin?”

“Of course I would.” His eyes widened and got watery. “What’s wrong?”

“I guess it has finally just sunk in that I’m awake this is real and that you really are mine.” He kissed him. “Among us clones to tattoo one’s likeness on your skin is a kin to a soul bond. Obviously clones are devoted to one another as brothers so tattooing each other is normal, but someone who isn’t a clone to reciprocate that is profound. To have you return this to me is making me weak in the knees. I mean my devotion to you is undeniable. My brothers have known about how deeply in my heart you have always been.” He chuckled and shook his head. “That is almost a marriage proposal. I hope that doesn’t make you uncomfortable.”

“It doesn’t at all I think it’s beautiful. Of course I would have you on my body. I am yours body and soul. I love with every fiber of my being. All the midichlorians in my blood are yours. Me and the little one are yours Rex.” Rex rested a gentle hand on his bump. His little one kicked up a storm whenever Rex was near or touching him. “See she knows you, she tries to be close to you. We are yours Rex.” Tears slipped from his honey eyes, he gathered Obi-Wan in his arms holding him close.

“I’m at a loss for words,” he said through shakey breaths. “I am yours always,” he knelt down in front of him and removed the tunic covering Obi. He put his hands on the growing bump and pressed his forehead to it. “I will always love you little one.” He whispered, the little pressed against his forehead. Obi-Wan’s heart was full to bursting. He touched Rex’s shoulder after sometime to draw his attention back to him. He stood back up pressing his lips to Obi-Wan’s.

“Let me take care of you.” He spun him around and gently took out the rest of his rows. He brushed through his curls fluffing them out into a soft blonde fro. He undressed himself the rest of the way and grabbed Rex’s hand drawing him into the spray of the fresher. The hot water was heaven, the natural stone had a soothing scent to it, the soft sounds of music overhead created a safe atmosphere. He sat Rex down on one of the benches underneath the spray.

He slowly worked shampoo through his curls, massaging his scalp and neck. Rinsing it and following with a deep conditioning to nourish his unique curls, he washed it out then applied a leave in. He grabbed the waterproof head cover from the shelves in the stone and wrapped Rex’s head. Rex gently returned the favor running his fingers through his hair, massaging his scalp turning Obi to mush. He stood his man up and grabbed the soap, lathering it up in between his hands he ran them from his neck down to his stomach, getting the nooks and crannies in between. Rex returned the favor washing him everywhere.

He wrapped his arms around Rex, and drew him into the water washing the soap from his upper half. He pressed his ear to Rex’s chest listening to his heart beating, counting the beats until it missed one. Seven beats then it would miss one, he wondered if the murmur had something to do with the mystery scar. “Have you always had a heart murmur?” Rex looked down at him questioningly. “Your heart skips a beat every seven beats.”

“I don’t know where it came from. Believe me the long necks wouldn’t let a clone with a heart condition live.” Obi-Wan looked up at him sadly. “It’s alright Cyare, that time is over now.”

“Where did you get this scar my love?” Rex looked down at his chest.

“I have no idea, I have no memory of it. Which is odd considering it looks pretty serious. It continues out the back too, right through the heart?” Obi kissed it and laid his head against it. Something stirred in his memory again, the back of his mind. But just like before his memory remained blank, he moved on kissing down Rex’s body. He grabbed the soap again and continued washing him. From his waist to his toes, massaging his thighs and calves as he went. He guided him back into the spray washing the soap from his skin. He kissed his knees, both his thighs and where Rex was hard as stone.

He kissed his stones then the base of him continuing up to the head. He tasted the precum beaded at the tip, wrapping his lips around the head. Rex’s hand buried in his hair as he suckled on him. He took his time working his cock into his mouth until his nose was buried at the light brown curls at the base. Rex had both hands buried in his hair, lightly pulling and gently guiding him. His taste was incredible and the girth and length made his eyes water, it was divine. He worked him massaging his stones and taking him as deep as he could until Rex’s breathing began to quicken. “Cyare please,” he begged breathlessly. Obi released him and sat back a bit continuously working him with hand. Rex head was thrown back pleasure and it was beyond divine.

Obi wrapped his lips around his tip and suckled until Rex tipped over the edge. He kept eye contact as Rex came undone on his tongue. Rex’s pupils dilated and swallowed up the honey. Obi was on fire for him, he needed him so badly. He stood and Rex was on him, he gathered him in his arms and ravaged him. Touching tasting and biting him all over, Obi was a moaning mess by the time he pulled away. “I need you Rex.” He moaned breathlessly.

“Need me where.”

“Inside me everywhere please.” He picked Obi up, he wrapped his legs around his waist. Their cocks brushed against each other each step Rex took, he connected their lips again. Rex grabbed a towel and carried Obi to his room. He locked the door and laid the towel on the bed. He gently laid Obi-Wan on it and dried him off. He then took off his hair covering and let his wet curls loose. He was unlike anything he had ever seen before, his amber eyes were hot and wild, his gorgeous broad chest was heaving, his beautiful cock was hard as stone. The light caught his glistening caramel skin, and his silver hair. He kissed him again tangling their tongues together. Then he kissed and bit his way down Obi-Wan’s freshly washed body, taking the time to gently kiss his bump and tell it he loves it.

He tasted him everywhere, his chest, his bump, his cock, his stones, his hole, his legs, everywhere. By the time he got out the lube Obi-Wan was begging. He took his time opening him up, going one at a time until he could fit three fingers comfortably inside. Obi-Wan’s brain short circuited a while ago and he was a heaving sweaty mess. Rex withdrew his fingers from his body. He made eye contact with this divine creature, his wild amber eyes were full of pure devotion and love. He took Obi-Wan’s breath away. This was the love of his life, he was his and now his body would belong to Rex as well as his soul.

The air around him was snapping with electricity, unlike anything he’d ever felt before. The force was singing a harmony so beautiful it was moving him to tears. “Do you feel that?” He whispered to his Rex. “The force is going to bind our souls together. Do you want this my Rex? It is okay if you do not.” Rex slicked himself up, wiped the excess lube off his fingers on the towel. He grabbed Obi-Wan’s hand and put it on his heart.

“I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life. I am yours Obi-Wan Kenobi, my skin, my heart, my mind, my soul. Are you sure you want this?”

“More than anything.” He sunk inside him inch by inch, filling his body to the brim, he pressed their foreheads together as he bottomed out. Something clicked into place almost immediately, their souls joined into one. They could see each other through the other’s eyes. Rex began to move, pleasure was being passed back and forth over their bond. Rex joined him inside his mind and strengthened the shields over his bonds with Ahsoka and Anakin.

“Is that the force?”

“Yes.”

“It’s beautiful.” The force danced and sang around them, they were joined completely.  Rex held his bump as he made love to him. The pleasure was beyond exquisite and Rex was glorious and resplendent above him. Rex was hitting every one of his sweet spots inside him lighting him up. It was so good so incredible he wasn’t going to last long.

“Rex!” He moaned out to him every other word other than Rex’s name no longer existed. Rex hooked his knees over his elbows and spread him wider, hitting a whole new host of nerve endings. He swore to the force he was screaming, his body was on fire. His end was coming and he hadn’t even touched himself yet. “Rex I’m,” his words were lost in his moans.

“That’s it beautiful, come for me.” His voice was deep and smokey with passion, rich with desire. He wanted nothing more than to please him. Something lit up in him at the command, something he would have to revisit later. The air was snapping and zapping with electricity. The force was singing at a crescendo, things around the room were floating to the ceiling. His eyes were swirling, Rex’s doing the same, his vision began to white out. He wasn’t even aware that he was borderline screaming, he toppled over the edge his vision completely blacked out for a millisecond. Once he came back to himself Rex toppled after him finishing inside him, leaving his mark permanently on his soul.

Rex leaned over him and put their foreheads together, they breathed quietly together. “I can feel you in my soul. I was in the force with you, it was…..” he trailed off. “I love you.” He whispered after a short while.

“I love you,” Obi-Wan whispered back. “I’ve never felt that before. I’ve never been so connected to another like that. The force was singing so splendidly I’m at a loss. We were one, for a moment.” Rex kissed him deeply again. Gently pulling out of Obi.

“Let me get something to clean up with.” He ran his hand over his forehead and into Obi’s hair kissing him again. He scampered off to the fresher, Obi-Wan realized he hadn’t seen Rex’s new eyes yet. He waited impatiently for Rex to waltz back in. He was taking a suspiciously long time, Obi-Wan began to have doubts. What if he didn’t like his eyes? What if he regretted this? His old insecurities rearing their ugly heads. There was no going back now, Rex had said he wanted it. He understood right?

Rex finally came back in a warm cloth in his hands. He gently wiped over Obi’s stomach and everywhere else that needed attention. He leaned down and pressed a kiss to his bump, and took the cloth to the laundry. He had kept his eyes on his task not meeting Obi-Wan’s. He was reeling, his anxiety was sky rocketing. He came back in the room, and went to shut off the lights. “Rex…?” He spoke very softly, his voice quivering in fear.

“Yes my love?” His voice was breathless and gentle.

“Is everything okay?”

“Yes,” the word was drawn out. Obi-Wan stood and went to Rex, reaching out for him. Rex immediately gathered him in his arms.

“Let me see your eyes Rex.”

His eyes slid up and met Obi-Wan’s, they were incredible. They weren’t like Cody’s had been, a cyan ring around the outside gold in the middle. His eyes were a perfect split between honey and cyan, his pupil bisecting the colors. The blend in the center creating a color he had no name for. He stared into those eyes so beloved to him, eyes that contained home.

“Rex they are the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. You have a piece of me inside you forever, our souls are merged.” He laid his head against Rex’s neck, nuzzling under his jaw. He held him for a while, just feeling each other’s warmth and basking in the afterglow. Then Rex released him took his hand and brought him down to the fresher. Obi-Wan looked into the mirror and gasped his eyes were the same as Rex’s. They were so beautiful they took his breath away.
