Crushing

Summary:

She hadn't really expected this, the whole "being dead" thing

I mean, yea, she knew she was gonna die someday, but she really did not expect it to be by a falling iceberg

Seriously, what the fuck?

This time we get to enjoy a victim of Reaper!

Enjoy!

Work Text:

She swears it was a normal day.

She was just going ice fishing again, an activity she does often - or did do often.

She just turned 17, and as a reward, she was finally able to go by herself! Traversing the icy terrain with nothing except her rod, saw, and the thoughts of what she was gonna catch that day.

.

.

.

What she caught was a fucking iceberg

Yea, you heard her, she saw something big under the ice and bent down for a closer inspection. To her surprise, a giant orca thing and a giant squid thingy were duking it out underneath the ice.

And listen--that shit was cool. It was entertaining and, in hindsight, she should have known it would have been dangerous but come on, she was bored.

They shadows went deeper and deeper until she couldn't see them anymore and she thought that was it.

You know, till there was a humongous splash behind her

She whipped her head around, trying to see what broke through the ice before she saw a big shadow that wasn't there before.

She looked up

She looked back down

She looked up again

Holy shit that was a giant ice-

Yeaaaaa, it cuts off at that but shes pretty certain she knows what happened next.

So now she's trapped by some weird chain that leads inside her chest to that same iceberg, pretty cool if you ask her. Problem is, she's still bored. That and she sees that dumb orca meet up everyday with its seal boyfriend.

Back then the orca looked so ferocious as it bit at the squid thing but now it literally whines at the seal. Like, puppy dog eyes and everything.

Atleast she gets to see it's dumb face turn sad when the seal bites it.
