Chapter Text

Masaki Hana loved her quirk. Sure its not "flashy" or "heroic" or anything but she loved it nonetheless. Her quirk was named "Perfect Memory", and as the name suggest she has perfect recollection of everything she has done or seen from the moment she was born. Not only that but she can recall any memory from her "mind library" (she was 4 when she called it that don't judge her). And unlike other people, with the help of her quirk she can remember everything from her early childhood.

When she was 5 and told her class what her quirk was they were...less enthusiastic about it. Sure some were mildly impressed by it, but other than that nothing. It was fine though, she loved it anyway. Hana's school live was a pretty standard one. She had a few friends, had good grades (her quirk helped a lot with them), overall it was fine. When she was handed a career plan paper she already knew what she wanted to do with her live. And with her quirk she would be spectacular at it. She wanted to help hero's, so she was gonna aim for the U.A. Management course. Sounds anticlimactic but that's what she wanted to do. So with that in mind she wrote it down and handed it in. Now all she had to do was do research on the entrance exam and she would be set for it in 10 months.

"oh you already turned it in Masaki?" Her friend, Ito Yuki, said

"Yeah, already know where I want to go" she said Ito gave her a curious look, "oh yeah, where?".

"U.A." Masaki said while walking out the class door hiding her smirk as her friend stood there dumbfounded for second. Until her brain seemed to reboot and she ran towards her.

"U.A.!?!?" Ito practically shouts in the (fortunately) empty hall.

"yeah, it has the best management course in the country, so I want to go there. Plus my quirk will help me a lot with the entrance exam." Masaki said while heading towards the front of the school.

Her friend walked along with her, looking a little dumbfounded for a little, "Y-yeah, but you know U.A. is extremally hard you know that right?"  

"I know, but I wont know until I try, and I'm going to try my hardest!" Masaki says while holding her fist in front clenching it in determination, a slight smile appearing on my face. 

Ito looks at her friend and cant help but feel her energy rub off on her, "Yeah! Your right, your gonna ace it I believe in you!" 

Masaki can't help but smile more at her friends enthusiasm. Ito has been her friend every since primary school, even now her attitude was as bubbly as ever. 

"What got you both in a good mood?"

Both girl's turn and look at the speaker, to see both there friends Yamamoto Hikari and Suzuki Aki standing by the front gate waiting for them. 

Masaki just smiles and says "I'm going to try the U.A. entrance exam!" and then immediately walks out the front gate, leaving her other two friends to reboot there brains. Once rebooted they quickly turn and look at her and shout.

"U.A.!?!?!?!"

"That's what I said!"

"Hey Masaki?"

"Yeah Ito?"

"Can you help me study? I've decided where I want to go."

"Sure. Where did you pick?"

"U.A. general education."

Upon hearing that Masaki can't help but smile.

"Well I guess I won't be lonely at U.A. now."

Ito returns her smile, brighter than ever. 

There is exactly 2 months before the entrance exam and Masaki can't help but feel a little nervous. She knows she's ready (ready is an understatement, she's basically been studying for 8 months straight only break she's had are ones her friends forced) and her quirk is a major help. But it doesn't scare off all her anxiety. Which is why her friend's, Ito and Suzuki since Yamamoto was busy, have decided to take her to a cat café. Her birthday is tomorrow, January 20th, but they won't be able to meet so they decided to take her out today. Perfect timing really she needed the breather from her anxiety. Her friends are walking next to her, and have been talking for a while now is seems,  yikes she must of been deeper in her head then she thought. 

"-eck it out during the summer?" Ito said

"I'm sorry, can you say that again?"

"Stuck in your own head again Masaki?" Suzuki said with a amused look on her face.

"Yeah, yeah just tell me what you said."

"I said there's rumor's of Takoba Municipal Beach being cleaned up."

Masaki makes a thoughtful expression, going through her memory's, "Oh you mean that beach with all the garbage?"

"Yeah."

"Huh, well if its cleaned by summer than sure we can go."

"COME ON GUYS!!" Suzuki shouts from about 20 feet ahead of them.

"Were coming!!" Ito says as she grabs Masaki's wrist pulling her along.

Again Masaki can't help but smile at there little antics. She has good friends, despite not being that close to some of them. But as she's being pulled along by Ito so they can catch up, She can't help but wonder.

'Who would clean up a whole beach full of garbage?'

It's time, the entrance exam is today and Masaki is feeling way more nervous than before. She's still in her bed, her alarm woke her up 30 minutes ago, staring up at her ceiling trying to get her nervousness to go away. She's ready, she's studied and with her quirk she remembers it all. And with that, she jumps out her bed, puts her school uniform on, and heads down for breakfast. She can already smell her moms cooking, American breakfast her favorite. When she heads down she can see her mom at the kitchen still cooking, pancakes with bacon her favorite American breakfast. As she looks towards the living room her mama looks to be on the phone with another client, so she'll be a minute. Masaki walks towards the kitchen, making coffee for all three of them. Her mom looks up from her cooking to look at her daughter.

"Ready for the entrance exam, my little flower?" Her mom, Masaki Hinata, say's.

"Yup, was just a little nervous but I'm feeling better now." She says only lying a little bit.

"Aww, there's nothing to be nervous about. Your gonna do great! Right hun?" 

"Your mom's right Hana, your going to do great. " Her mama, Masaki Hina, says joining the conversation.

"I know but what if I don't make it? What am I going to do?" She says her nervousness rearing its head in her voice.

"Then I'll sue them!" Her mama says with a mischievous grin. 

"MA!!"

"Kidding, kidding" She says already walking towards the table 

"It'll be ok flower, go set the table please"

"Alright mom." Masaki says as she goes and sets the table.

When she is finished setting up the table, her mom finish's the breakfast and brings it to the table. Once there all seated, her mom pass's out the food to both of them and herself. Once she gets her own food, she takes a bite and her mood is better. She always love when her mom cooks, especially her favorites. Once she finish's, she gets her bag and make's sure she isn't missing anything and head back down. Once she is downstairs, she gives both her parents a hug and a kiss and puts her shoes on to head out the door. Once out the door, she takes out her phone, sends a quick text to her friends, and heads to the train. 

After who knows how many minutes (she was to busy going through her mind library for all the things she's studied so far) here she is standing at the gates of U.A., and wow. It's way bigger then the picture's online holy. After that thought she shake's her head to focus, as she's walking she notice's an unusually site. A girl with brunette hair looks to be talking to a guy with green hair as he's floating, uh. Oh well she has other things to worry. And so she walks towards her future. 

The week of waiting was horrible, she felt like she was going insane just waiting for her letter. But once she received it, letting her know she made it in, she hugged her parents crying a little. And now here she is, her second day of school and she was already probably gonna get in trouble. All she needed to do was go get something for her teacher in the teacher's lounge. Sound's easy enough, unless you unaccounted for how big U.A is, not to mention her bad sense of directions. So it took longer than expected, like way longer. Now school was about to end and she didn't want to still be out her class when it did. So she was rushing a bit, running down the hall's, maybe to fast because before she knew it she ran into someone. Great, hopeful whoever she ran into is ok, she should ask while also picking up the papers she dropped.

"I am so sorry! I didn't look where I was going and..."

"No, no it's ok really. I should of also been paying attention." The stranger (sounds like a guy) she ran into said. 

"No it's my fault I should've looked I just didn't want to get in trouble because I've been out way longer than I should have..." She says as she picks up a couple of the papers she dropped.

"really it's fine. Here let me help you..." He says as he picks up the rest of the paper.

She stands up and goes to retrieve the paper from the guy, but as she grabs them, there hands brush past each other. As she does this her quirk acts up, showing a couple of memory's she didn't know she had, including one that looks like this one, albeit different. It cause's her to look at the stranger, and as she does she cant help but feel a weird sense of Deja vu. So she decides to ask the obvious question.

"H-hey...Have we met before?"

And after she ask's that the stranger (with green hair might she add) looks at her with a little bit of tears forming at the corner of his eyes and says...

"Yeah. We have"

Ello my dear readers, I have some good and bad news. First things first you may be wondering why I haven't updated this fic in a long time, especial considering it only has one chapter. Well one reason being...I was going through some personal things and wasn't in the right mind set to write. The other reason is also the bad news....I lost my notes and rough drats I had for this fic. Now you may be asking "But Author-san how did you lose them? Aren't they on your computer?" WELL! I have the answer for that...I wrote everything in a little notebook. I KNOW, I know I should at least have some backups on a computer, I learned my lesson. With that being said, I will be 100% honest with you guys, I didn't like my world building, or realize how much work I had to do to incorporate an entirely new character in a already existing cast. So with all that being said I am going to still look for that notebook I wrote in, but other than that I'm going to leave this story be. But don't fret, this is where the good news comes in...I'm writing a brand new story!!!! I won't spoil anything until I post the first chapter btu I'm already liking how its going. Anyway that's all....If you liked this story I'm sorry...But hey if anyone wants to give writing a story with this prompt in mind feel free just give me a little credit. And with that I hope to anyone reading this give my other story a chance when I post this and hope you all have a amazing day!!!BYE!!!
