Chapter Text

When Chuck was creating his worlds he didn't create the oceans or the things living in them. He looked away from his project for one second and the Oceans where just their. The Oceans were something form an other universes that decided that earth was its new home and Chuck wasn't powerful enough to remove them which freaked him. When Chuck realized that the Oceans where just kind of chilling their he not really doing anything he made the leviathans and put them in the waters to test if they would hold life, the Oceans got upset over the invasion and twisted the leviathan into being that would/could attack heaven. That was the first and last time Chuck tried to put anything in the oceans, he and his angles left it alone not wanted to anger it and start another war. When the Oceans started fulling with life on its won some of the more reckless and curious angles went to check it out and they called something weird witch offended the ocean and they barely got away. The Oceans like some angles more than others, their water will burn ones it hates, act as itching powered to the annoying ones, and a happy buzz the ones it likes. So far the oceans only like on angle and that Gabriel since he is most mischievous and the only to love their creations, they will try to keep him if he stay in their water for too long (the time that counts as too long keeps changing and can be anywhere form 5 minutes to about ten years). The angles could never tell what would happen if they came in connect with salt water since the Oceans change their mind often and gave no sign on how much the angle was liked before it touched their waters so the angles went of their way to avoid it.

You can pick any point in the show the show but Sam and Dean found that out and started to mess with heaven a lot. They have a squirt gun filled with sea water to hit angles they didn't like and would some time though fish or other sea creatures at them. Most angles are extremally unnerved by sea live since they had no hand in creating it and are will to go to extreme measures to avoid it without actively running form it so they don't came across as rude and possibly start a war with the oceans that they know they couldn't win. So I'm just imaging Lucifer going on an evil speech and Sam just spraying him in the face with a spruit gun like misbehaving cat and Lucifer just freaking out and trying to get away form the water. Michael does something super sketchy and Dean comes out of no where holding a crab in Michael's face while Michael is trying to get away without letting anyone see how uncomfy he is so he doesn't accidently offend the Oceans. While they talk to Chuck they snack on sushi as a power movie and Chuck doesn't know how to react, should he stop them eating the fish should he eat fish too, he doesn't know what would be less offensive to the oceans so he just sort of freezes.

Cass calls Dean in a panic tell him to get their as soon as possibly. Dean breaking all the traffic law trying to get to Cass thinking it is a matter of life and death since this is the most freaked out Dean as ever heard Cass only to find Cass starring at a lobster tank. Dean is of course confused because he thought something was wrong like the world was going to end and he just sees Cass starring at a lobster tank. When he asks Cass what is wrong Cass goes on about how they have to save the lobsters and return them to the ocean that this is a sign to get back in to the Oceans good graces. Dean thinks that Cass has finally lost his mind but ends up helping Cass smuggle the lobsters out of the store when he sees how much it means to Cass. Dean does of the work too since Cass refuses to touch/be to close to the lobsters. When they release the lobsters back into the wild Cass gets some of his grace back and they make it and Dean has the great idea of robing store of their lobsters to release then back into the wild in order to Cass back up to full power. When Sam finds out about Dean plan he thinks they are both crazy but goes along with it since it means so much to both of them and they could all use a break. For the next month or so all three of them are robing places that sells living lobster.

Gabriel joined team free will after the fight between Lucifer and the pagan gods and stars to spend more time around the brothers. When Sam and Dean find out about the ocean thing, they try to use it to get pay back on Gabriel for the stuff he pulled when he was pretending to Loki. They will try to sneak up on Gabriel with either a sea water water gun or a random sea creature and scare him with it. They are surprised when is unfazed and wither starts a water fight or keeps the sea creature. The brother are now unsure if Gabriel is actually an angle because his reaction is so different form his brothers, they are starting to think that Gabriel is a trickster pretending to be an angle that is pretending to be a trickster. Cass keeps saying that Gabriel is his brother but Sam and Dean are believing him less and less as Gabriel collection of sea creature grows. It get to the point that Cass kind start to believe Sam and Dean because no angle would willing be around that many sea animals, Gabriel has always been different but he wasn't that different. Gabriel just thinks that is funny and is not doing anything to them believe one way or the other, he is kind of excided to see what kind of reasoning they come up with to back their theory.

The apocalypse world Michael doesn't know about their oceans sine his world either doesn't have on or Chuck just mirrored it so it doesn't have the same effect so thought it was ridicules that Sam would came at him with a water gun in one hand and a fish in the other. He thought it was less ridicules when the water burn and the fish bit him and for some reason the bit wont heal. That Michael is so confused that he stands their in shock, when things like that start happen on the regular he has a small break down on and goes on a rant about how he just want to go home where thing make since, water doesn't burn and fish can't eat angles, what is wrong with your world how do you guys live like this. He helps the others find way to get him back to his world and is no longer a problem.

When Sam started to hallucinate Lucifer he got a pet carb to carry with him since even hallucinate Lucifer is afraid of sea stuff. The carb because a stander in his live and over time he slowly gets more carbs until he has a small army after a fight with an angle he threatens to unleash it on the next the next angle to piss him off. All the angles make a point to stay away from him after that not want an army of Carb to be sicked on them but it makes Gabriel mess with him more since he now wants to steal the crab army to add to his own collection of sea creatures.

When Chuck turns on the brothers the Ocean is not happy, they blame Chuck for all the stuff humans put in Their waters and for the humans killing their creations, and this was the last straw. Over time the Ocean had become fond of Sam and Dean because they were some of the only human that returned Their creations back to Them and decided that the brothers deserved a reward. What better way to reward the brothers and their angel then to do them both a favor and get ride off the annoying God who thinks it is better then Then.

While Chuck is going own about how Dean ruined his story he was in cased in water and it looked like he was dissolving before their eye. The brothers finally understand why Cass was so afraid of the Ocean and sore they would never tease Cass about his fear again. They were low key scared of the the Ocean now that they saw it dissolve God and start to tell other hunts to be aware of how much their actions affect the Ocean because they don't want it to turn on them. The other hunts are starting to think that they finally lost their minds until the brother show they how other angel act around the Ocean and tell them what it did to Chuck. Hunters as a whole now all have some sort of paranoia around sea water now afraid that one day the Oceans wont stand for how humans treat it and that humans would get the same treatment as the heavenly beings.

Chapter Text

The world didn't end in a big fight between Heaven and Hell, it didn't end in some finial act form God, and it certainly didn't end because of the Winchester's inability to let go of each other. The apocalypse happened in a way no one expected and it took time for everyone to come to terms with It. The end of the world was surprisingly easy to cope with, the thing that give them trouble was how it happened. They know the end was coming but they were expecting a big drawn out fight between Lucifer and Michael, one that lasted decades and left the world scared beyond recognition. They thought God might cut out the middle man and get ride of humanity himself and save his sons the trouble. They "know" most of humanity would be wiped out quickly when they end came and the rest would be following soon after, but they were wrong. The beginning of the end didn't start with a massive death troll like one would expect but it was just one single death that began the slow end to the world as they know it.

In some ways they were right about how the apocalypse, two archangels fighting to the death and Lucifer come out on top, but they still had it very wrong. The fight that sealed the worlds fate was not one between Lucifer and Michael but between Lucifer and Gabriel. When Gabriel was killed the Oceans took his soul before it could go into the empty and left earth to find a new home for itself and it's adopted child. The Ocean may not have been part of earth original plans but over time but They become vital to sort live on the planet. With out the Oceans the water cycle got be messed up, less oxygen got produced, and shipments would be put on hold. Non of thing things would kill right away but would become devastly over time. Humanity end was slow and dawn out because an angel decide to fight for on their side, they could have a relatively fast end but Gabriel cared about them and thar sealed their fate. They all cursed that angel decided to care, they could have gone down with honor, they could have gone down fighting, but they are stuck writhing away without proper water, oxygen, and food .

Chapter Text

In the beginning Chuck had made Earth it was relativity flat planet but than the Ocean came and dug its way it to the planet, moving dirt out of it way as needed. It piled the extra dirt on the surface making the mountains that we know today. The Ocean completely changed how Earth looked in a matter of seconds and now matter how much Chuck tried he couldn't undue the changes. He was upset that things weren't going to plan and was concerned that he was powerless to undo the changes but the Ocean seemed harmless so let it be instead of starting compactly over. The Angels picked up Chucks unease around the Ocean and most become warry around the water and avoided it, while other become curious and wanted to interact. Gabriel was one of the angels that curious of the Ocean and was the first one to interact with it. He played in the Ocean's waters constly, invited his siblings to swim with him even though most never joined, and he even talked to Ocean tho they rarely talked back.

Chuck saw that the Ocean was nice with the way it interacted with his childeren so he made the leavtions and put their in the Ocean. Gabriel spock against it saying that he thought the Ocean would take offence, and told the Ocean of Chucks plan. When the Ocean twisted the leactions They made it so they couldn't harm Gabriel before unleashing them on Heaven. It was after that they the Ocean started to burn Angels on contact upset that no one else thought to ask for Their permission before invading It's waters. When the Ocean started to make It's own life Gabriel was the only that liked It's creations, making It like him more and dislike his siblings even more. Over time the Ocean started to think of Gabriel as It's adopted child and it wanted to keep him safe. At times They think the only way to keep him safe is to keep him with Them and that is why it sometimes tries to keep him with Them. They usually let him leave because They know that he also belongs to the sky and would hate being kept in one place for too long

When Gabriel left Heaven he stayed in the Ocean for while before becoming Loki and that is way the Angels thought he was dead. They thought he was abosed into the Ocean and they never thought of a different possiblity.

Chapter Text

When Lucifer started showing up in Sam dreams during the first apocalypse Sam tried to keep Lucifer out and it didn't work but Sam found out that he could also manipulate his dreams and started to dream up crabs when he Lucifer tried to talk to him. Crabs where the only sea creature that he could think of that could kind of attack people on land. The more threatened/uncommfy Sam felt the more crabs would show up to defend him from Lucifer. Sometimes one big gaint crab would show up instead of many normal sized ones. Lucifer would try to act unbothered by the crabs since he know they weren't real but they still put him on edge and leave soon after they popped in the dream.

It become a regular thing and now Sam's subconscious associates angel grace with crabs and he can tell when an angel tries to manipulate his dreams because that is the only time he dreams of crabs. It also comes with the down side of craving crab whenever he gets healed/angel traveled. It gets to the point where Dean can tell when an agnel is around because Sam would start taking about wanting crab, Sam doesn't realize that he is doing and Dean find it hailuatioes that they have a built in angel finder with Sam's new found love of sea food.

Chapter Text

At some point Sam and Dean ask Gabriel for a way to protect themselves for becoming vessels and he just them some kid of fish to take care of without any more instructions. Sam gets something cool piranha or angel fish and Dean gets something on the lamer side like a guppy or goldfish. They don't know what to do with the fish or how it was supposed to keep them save from archangels but they keep the fish since Gabriel made it very clear about them taking care of those fish and they don't want an anger another archangel. Cass for whatever reason never finds out about the fish and after awhile the brothers kind of forget that the fish are meant to important and think that it was just a prank or something but they still keep the fish since they got attached.

When Lucifer invades Sam dream to try and get him to say yes Sam list all the reasons why he wonted and the last thing on his list was if I where to say yes who would take care of my pet and Lucifer just freezes and ask fish, how long have you had a fish, kind of freak out. Sam responds with my pet fish Freak, he is a piranha and I had him for while now, its nothing new. Lucifer just leaves and Sam never hears from him again. Sam tells Dean about what happened and they keep a look out for Lucifer but it seems like he just give up alpolips.

The next time Michael tries to take Dean into saying yes he remebers what Sam said about Lucifer acting werid after he meinchtion Freak and decides to talk about his fish (Billy) too see what happened. Michael also leaves without a traces. The whole aplochils has been avoided because the brothers decided to talk about their pet fish. Whenever some ones askes how they avoided the apolcos they give all the credit to Freak and Billy. The brother never mentined that Freak and Billy where fish so everyone is wondering who they are and what they did to fix everything. More and more outrangish ramors pop up about Freak and Billy and the brother have a good laugh imaging their fish doing all the tales the ramors give them creatid for.

Lucifer and Michael give up because they didn't want to take care of pet fish and have a chance of acidtly offending the Ocean.

Chapter Text

When Gabriel was trying to impress Sam before they started dating he would give Sam random sea creatures as pets. The creatures would come with a chessy note or pun on it that was same how related to the type of sea creature that was given. Sam soon had over a 20 sea creatures that he wasn't sure what to do with, they where hard to take care at times but he didn't want to hurt Gabriel feelings by giving them away. When they got together they talked about Sam's new pets and it was decided that Gabriel was the best person to look after them most of the time but Sam would take over when he could. They also went on a bunch of dates that were just freeing animals from places that missed treated them, to make things more fun Gabriel wasn't allowed to use his powers to teleport the animals. They had to come up with was to sneak the animals past everyone until they got like a block away and then Gabriel was allowed to use his powers. With in like three months of them getting together they have freed most of the orca's from sea world but that is the one place they keep getting caught in. Everyone that works for sea world knows that the two of them have been stealing the orcas but they don't know how they keep stealing the whales with just the two of them. So know when they enter one of the parks one employee has to follower them everywhere to try and catch them in the act so the polices would beveled them. That just adds to the challenge making it more fun for the couple.

Chapter Text

Gabriel is the youngest archangel and that is the only reason his older brothers know that he is for sure an archangel made by Chuck. Gabriel was always a little different than the other angels but the thing that really drove that fact home was when everyone found out that Gabriel loved the Oceans and that It liked him back. The older archangels and Chuck kept having to reassure the younger angels that Gabriel was in fact their brother and not some creature the Ocean sent to spy on them but they even had their doubts at times. Same of the younger angels didn't believe them about Gabriel really being an angel but they still loved him and just told Gabriel that they loved him even though he was an Ocean person, Gabriel had no idea what they were talking about but was happy that his siblings cared. As time went on more and more of the angels believed that Gabriel was Ocean person so when he left when the fighting got bad most of them just thought he become one with Ocean again and that is why most of the angels thought he was dead.

In the seen where Sam and Dean find out that Gabriel was the trickster Cass is surprised that the holly fire worked since he was one of the angels that thought that Gabriel was a Ocean creature. That is when Gabriel finds out that the younger angels though he wasn't an angel and is slightly hurt over it. Cass tries to make it up to him and their whole thing gets derailed when the other archangels shows up to see their younger brother that they thought was dead.

Chapter Text

Gabriel is the young of the archangels so the his older brothers would babysit him when Chuck was working. They were good at keeping him out of trouble until the day the Oceans came, everything was crazy at since their was an invader and little Gabriel wanted to see what all the fuss was about so he snuck to earth to see. The was insteadly fell in love with the waters and started playing in the surf, his older brothers where in a panic trying to find where he was. When they find him he just wanted to saw his brothers how fun the water was while his brothers were panicking since their baby brother was playing with an invader that was stronger than God.

Chapter Text

Dean sees how much Gabriel loves sea creatures and how much fun he and Sam are having on their dates and decides to plan something similar for him and Cass. He thinks that Gabriel loving sea creatures so much is an angel thing since they are suppose to live all of gods creatures and stuff. He plans to take Cass to the zoo and an aquarium for their date not knowing that Cass is terrified of sea creatures. Thing go well at first they went to the zoo, so some animal, freed some animal, stole a couple of animals for pet, and over all had a great time. Then they moved on to the second part of the date at the aquarium and thing turn out not so great. Cass is terrified literally shacking in fear but he is trying to keep himself together since he doesn't want to ruin his date with Dean. Dean can see that some is wrong with Cass but he not sure what is wrong and tries to distract Cass by show him all the different types of fish. That just makes Cass worse until he can't take it and flies both and Dean away. They both feel bad since they both think they ruined the date until the take to each other and they have a cute sweet moment together. Dean promises to keep Cass save form the big evil gold fish and all is good again.

Chapter Text

Bobby find out the ocean thing and builds a thing which is basely a t shirt cannon turned into a fish gun. It has a backpack part that holds sea water and the sea life witch can vary from gold fish, crabs, and clams, and the gun fires the sea life at kind of high speeds at the angels. The angels don't want to get on the Oceans bad side so they feel like they have to catch the sea life that was shot of them but once they are holding said sea life they just kind of freeze not knowing what to do with it. They then scramble to get the sea life but into the sea as fast as possible. It is safe to say no one missed with Bobby after he shot a clam at Lucifer and it hit him squire in the face, it was the first time he tried out his knew gun and it was sadly the last time he got to use it.

Chapter Text

After the levagitns got free, most become ocean activists. Their main priority was to make sure that human stop hurting their life giver and that all the damage done to the Oceans was undone. The rest of them were responsible for figuring out how to get easy food. The hunters only know about the levagitns that where streamlining the process of eating eating humans and never found out that the group of environmentals.

Sam and Dean tried to use their Sea life trick on the levagitns bc they figured all of gods early creations would have a slimaler reactions to the angles. They were very wrong, the trick just the levagitns mad fir the lack of respect given to the sea life. They only got away bc Gabriel showed up and claimed them as human under his protection. This leads to levagitns bodyguards for Sam, Dean, Cass, Bobby, and Gabriel.
