Chapter Text

   All that you could think about was that mysterious woman, who was she? You knew she had something to do with leon but he wouldn’t say anything. You didn’t have much time to think though, as you were currently helping Leon,your work partner and romantic partner, with a mission of finding ashley graham, and this place was crawling with threats. Atleast your mind was occupied, hopefully it can distract you and maybe even make you forget about her, you needed to stay focused.

   You and leon finally made it into the castle, you guys had found ashley but someone took her away, so like any smart person would you guys headed down to the shooting range, ashley can wait this was very important business, plus it was a break from the shit you guys were dealing with and you both desperately needed it.

    “You wanna go first?” Leon asked, crossing his arms and leaning up against the barrel at the side of the room.

    “Sure, why not.” You wanted to talk to him about that woman from earlier, you guys had some free time and you could multi task, so you grabbed your pistol and began the round, finishing a couple games before starting the conversation. “Leon, I need to ask you something” You said sternly, not sarcastically, or any hint of playfulness in your tone like usual, leon was curious

    “Yea, what is it?”

    “Who was that woman?” You asked him, still shooting. Leon stayed silent for a few seconds, taking a moment before coming up with an answer

   “I guess you could say shes apart of me I can’t let go, lets just leave it at that” He replied. That wasn’t the answer you were looking for and he knew that but he didn’t want to get into who she really was. You did.

   “Thats not the answer I wanted leon, tell me who she is” You snapped at him, your shooting getting faster.

   “Thats the one your getting” Leon stated. You were getting irritated now, you needed answers, and if he wasn’t going to give them to you then you would get them yourself. You sat the gun down and started to walk out of the shooting range

    “Fine, but I’m going to go find out who she is then if your not going to tell me, good luck with getting ashley on your own.” You coldly stated, walking out and stepping into the elevator, not looking him in the eyes as you pressed the button.

   “Hey, wait! You can’t just leave me, we’re on a mission here!” Leon yelled out to you, but it was too late and you were already gone. “Well that went well” He said to himself.

   You arrived at the top in merchants shop, he looked a bit confused seeing leon wasn’t with you, but not saying anything as you left. You left the castle, you didn’t have a plan on how to find the woman but you were going to one way or another, atleast thats what you kept telling yourself. You felt as if you had been walking for forever but in reality it had been around 30 minutes before you heard the familiar sound of a grappling hook close by, you quickly scanned the area, you had found yourself at the entrance of the castle, the other entrance, the one you had gone in with leon was a back entrance. You quickly found her, the red dress a dead give away but she was already swinging away so you decided to run, you would catch up to her if you took a few shortcuts you had noticed on your walk through this area earlier with leon.

    You just had her, you seen her then suddenly she was gone and now you were alone in a library like room in the castle, you had entered from a window as you thought you saw the woman go in through it but now she was gone. Well thats what you thought

    “You really are persistent huh, I should’ve known you weren’t going to give up easily though” The woman spoke, trailing her fingertips across your shoulders gently, speaking closely to you, almost feeling her breathe on your neck

    “Who are you exactly?” you asked, gripping your knife that you had in your holder, you didn’t think she would hurt you but just in case something happened, you were always on high alert.

    “And why do you want to know? Why do you need to know my identity?” The woman asked, slowly pacing in front of you, smiling at you, almost in a taunting way.

    “Leon won’t tell me shit, and I figured the best bet was to find you. I hope this little trip wasn’t a waste of my time” You said, trying to hide the slight nervousness in your voice, the woman made you feel un easy, but not in a scary un easy, just like she knew more than you, it was a weird feeling.

    “Oh I would never waste a trip like that, especially for someone as dedicated as you, I appreciate that in someone” She said, almost sounding flirtatious but then again she always talked like that so it was probably just you overthinking. “But if you insist on knowing, my names ada wong, and you?” Ada asked, as she gently caressed your cheek. You didn’t reply, suddenly stunned at her actions, but this was just cause you were scared, thats all, you didn’t know anything but her name, her intentions could be to hurt you. Not at all cause you were flustered, thats crazy talk…maybe a little flustered.”Cats got your tongue? Hmm? What happened, a minute ago you were talking as if you owned the place. All bark and no bite, pathetic honestly.” She said amused at your actions, you wanted to say something but nothing came out. “Now be a good girl and go back to leon, I have business to do, but I’ll see you again, I won’t let you get away that easily” Thats all she said before she grapple hooked her way out the window and off into the night, off to do whatever she was up to, and you were left a blushing mess. Well shit, you thought. You would be freaking out on not being able to find leon but you had your walkie talkies, so you called him.

    “So you finally answered, been calling you for like 5 minutes” leon said teasingly when you called, his words making you want to punch him.

    “I found her, ada.” You stated blankly

    “Oh you did, surprisingly, did she give you the answers you wanted?” Leon asked, a bit of shock evident in his voice.

    “I guess you could say that, but it’s not the last time i'll be seeing her”

I know its been a bit since I posted this fic but I'm back! :D I kind of forgot about it but I plan to continue this fic now. I completely forgot what I was gonna do for the next chapters after the 1st one, and I don't really have any ideas at the moment, BUT if anyone has any feel free to comment them, I'd really appreciate it! Anywhoosies, that's it for the update, expect a new chapter in the next month or two, im a slow writer so it might take a lil but this fic is getting updated!

Also I don't know how to delete the notes at the bottom of this chapter, Idk if they're showing up for anyone else but they're showing up for me so just uh ignore those lol
