Chapter Text

Author N.C :  Alright, alright. Good morning or goodnight, good afternoon or good midnight. Today we will be interviewing the 10 main people of Noblesse. Meaning that we will be having Raizel, Frankenstein, Muzaka, M-21, Takeo, Tao, Miss Seira, Regis, Rael, and sir Karius. The 10 of them will be answering questions based on the story Noblesse and as well they’ll be informed about the upcoming story, “Way More Than Meets The Eye” So let’s begin!

Author N.C : Hello Frankenstein, Muzaka, and Mister Raizel-

Rai : Please just call me Rai

Author N.C : Ah, okay. Now I bet that you three are wondering, why are we here? Well let me tell you-

Frankenstein : Please do tell us! I hate when my time is being wasted in meaningless things like this 

Author N.C : Oh? This wouldn’t be a waste of time if the first thing that you do is complain about it, and I think that Rai does not think it’s meaningless, right Rai?

Rai : nods in agreement 

Muzaka : whispers to Rai, “I like them already”

Author N.C :Now would you let me start?

Frankenstein : Go ahead or I’ll leave

Author N.C : alright! With one word how would you describe the ending of the story?

Muzaka : “The only thing that I could say is okay for some parts”

Frankenstein : “Well, it was at least acceptable in some ways”

Author N.C : “What do you say Rai?”

Rai : “It was decent enough although it was purposely left with an open ending, for so people like you would create more stories”.

Author N.C : sighs dreamily though they look at Frankenstein who has killing eyes on them, “Next question, Were you happy at the end?”

Frankenstein : “Yes I was since I had all the information that I wanted of the Union but then I wasn’t. I wasn’t with my master at the end and the school was left in Tao's hands”.

Muzaka : “deep down I wasn’t, something was missing and I’m still wondering who’s heart does the pup have but you could say that I am happy to have my family back”.

Rai : “I am happy and I do think that I will be happier if you were to write the Idea that you have in your mind”.

Author N.C : “Thank you-”

Frankenstein : “What is it that you have planned?”

Author N.C : “Oh, you know that curiosity killed the cat-”

Frankenstein: “ But satisfaction brought it back, did it not?” 

Author N.C : “Yes, yes I know but it will give you a heart attack once you figure it out. And Muzaka”,  turns to him, “I’ll give you the answers you want but know this, going too far you might lose yourself or the person that you learn to care and love. Rai”,  gives him a  box with a silver key, “this will help you open any door in heaven or hell but it is up to you who or what you want to see at the other side”. They stand up “off you go please call M-21, Takeo and Tao, Muzaka!”

Muzaka : “I will”

Author N.C : ‘Eyes so dreamy as they see the three people leave the room’

Takeo : “Are they okay?”

Tao : “I don’t know?”

M-21 : “They just met Frankenstein, Muzaka, and Rai. What do you think?”

Author A : “Oh no, they are fine, don't worry about them, they just met 3 and now 4 and 5 of their favorite people”.

Tao : “Would you tell us?” ‘Proceeds on making puppy eyes’

Author N.C : “Wait no!”

Author A : “Rai, Frankenstein, Muzaka, M-21, and Takeo, right in that order”

Tao : ‘proceeds on collapsing on the floor’ “I can’t believe this!”

Author A : “Don’t worry you’re in my list”

M-21 : “Can we start or do we leave?”

Takeo : “21-”

Author A : “No no, I’ll do it this time since they seem to have gone to dreamland. Question 1, are you three happy that the Union is now gone?”

Tao : “Guess I’ll go first”, sit back up. “I know that I am happy since I don’t have to worry about the Union but I think that I would end up giving the school back to Frankenstein. It is just too much!”         

Takeo : “I thought you liked it”

Tao : “I don't, it's not the same!”,  door creaks open to reveal a blue eye, glaring daggers at Tao.

Takeo : “If they are gone then that means that everyone is safe but in the end everything got lonely”.

Author A : “I see what about you M-21?”

M-21 : “Actually we aren’t sure if they are gone, and if we aren’t sure then we aren’t really safe at all. Then, I also have questions that were left unanswered”.

Author N.C : “Oh god I’m back, alright I have some advice for each one of you. Tao”, turns to him, “you should think carefully on what you have now rather than on what you’ll have in the future. Takeo”, turns to Takeo, “you might have been played in the past but let your mind open as you won’t be lonely anymore. And M-21”, turns to him and sighs, “your mind and heart will tell you who you are and who you were, and with time they will lead you to the family that you have and to a new”.

Author A : “Please keep this in mind, the three of you”.

Author N.C : “Okay we will play a game version of kill, fuck, marry, but this one is called uncle, father, mother”.

Tao : “Ah, I understand, and who are the people?”

Author A : “The three people in the other room, Tao”.

Tao : “That’s easy! Frankenstein is the Mother, Muzaka the Father, and Sir Rai the responsible uncle!”

Takeo : “Um, Frankenstein the Father, I think sir Raizel would be the Mother, and Muzaka would be the Uncle”.

M-21 : “Frankenstein the insane Uncle that takes the role of Father from Muzaka since he sometimes acts as a Father would, as for Rai he would definitely be the Mother”.

Author A : “So confident with the answers there”

Author N.C : “I-I think that you three should start running for your dear lives”

Takeo : “Why would we-”

Frankenstein : The door slams open as he enters the room that they are in. “I, who made you three perfect, should not suffer but if I do then the three who did the damage should suffer the same!”

Author N.C : “Sir! Please not in here!” 

Frankenstein : “This is my home to begin with, Now everyone out!”

Rai : “Frankenstein, please calm down and let them finish what they have to say”

Author A : “I agree with Rai there, and I think we should head now to the living room since Seira and Regis, Rael and Sir Karius are there waiting for us there with some snacks?”

Everyone : leaves to the living room to only find way too many snacks on the table.

Author N.C : “The reason that everything is setted out like this is because we wanted to present you to the people who would be with you until the end of the new beginning”, proceeds to smile so innocently.

Frankenstein : “What are you talking about?!”

Author A : “Well you see you all are going to be in a story called “ Way more than meets the eye”. The doorbell begins to ring non-stop, making Frankenstein aura even darker than one could resist but as the door was open everything seemed to have lightened up a bit.

??? : “Oh! Your home is full of your dark spare, don't you think it’s time to add some light, brother?”

Frankenstein : “Victoria!”,  goes paler than paper, “I-I wasn’t expecting you-”

Victoria : “You never expect anyone my dear so please do not talk and listen to what I have to say but first”,  looks back at all the people behind her, “get in, all of you”

??? : “Hey Author N.C I do think that we are not welcome here-”

M-21 : “Hey I know you! You’re M-101 also known as yokai-”

M-101 : “I think you have the wrong person-”

M-21 : “No I do not! I know who you really are since you enter that door you’ve been holding your wrist for a long time-”

M-101 : “The hell M-21 would you leave me alone! I just want to have a life away from the chaotic one that I had!”

Author A : “At a corner we have Frankenstein and Victoria and the other corner we have M-21 and M-101-” 

Author N.C : “So, who’s next?”

Tao : “Takeo help me, the sisters are back! And they want to hunt me down!” 

??? : “I won’t but my sister has a bone or two to pick with you”

Tao : “If you won’t Thena will you help me-”

Thena : “I won’t stop Talanoa, she was giving us a headache once she knew where we were going, so in the end this was the only thing that we could give her”

Talanoa : Appears behind Thena, “Hi Tao~”, starts chasing him off.

Thena : “Takeo”, nods a greeting.

Takeo : “Thena”,  does the same.

Author N.C : “And there goes two more”

??? : Walks behind Rai and covers his eyes, “Guess who I am?”

Rai : “You are the child of my old friend, Violet?”

Violet : “You were my mothers friend? Do you know what happened to her?”

Rai : Shakes his head, “No I do not know what happened to her, I am sorry my child”.

Violet :  Proceeds on hugging him.

Everyone : Goes silent and watches as two beings hug each other. 

??? : “This is what I call a true home for a good being like the Noblesse, right Uriel?”

Uriel : Nods in agreement.

??? : “Ozul are you already criticizing this home in particular!”

Ozul : “I was doing it in a good way to begin with, Amatius!”

Amatius : “If you say so”

Karius : “Is that you Ama?”,  stands up and walks up to her.

Amatius : “Sir Karius, how long has it been since we saw each other?”

Karius : “It has been so long that I keep that memory of you fresh in my mind. Oh when that human boat started to sink we stayed there until it was no more”. Kisses her hand and then on her lips.

Amatius : “We had to watch one of our love birds die, sacrificing their life for the other in order for the other to live”.

Karius : “My lady, it was oh so sad but oh so  romantic”

??? : “You two please get a room, none of us want to see this!”

Amatius : “Get a room yourself, Lilan”

Lilan : “I hate you

Author N.C : “Please calm down everyone! I need to know something!”

Author A : “Where is Gem and Eth?”

Everyone : Goes silent, as none of them had an answer to give at all.

??? : “The two of them decided to stay at home and not get involved in this mess that I am seeing”.

Frankenstein : “From where did you get in? I closed the door 15 minutes ago and I did not see you enter!!”, rabid shouting at this point.

Author N.C : “Please, Nathan can you explain this”, pulling her hair out of stress.

Nathan : “How was I supposed to enter if the door was locked and chaos could be heard like a mile away? So I saw a window that was open and I took my chance and that is why I’ve been here, sitting on the window frame for 10 long minutes without anyone noticing well until now that I spoke, that’s enough?”

Muzaka : “You know you remind me of myself when I used to do that to visit my friend Raizel, you remember?”

Rai : “Yes I do”

Frankenstein : “I do also, and you would leave a mess whenever you came to visit, and it seems that things will repeat all over again!”

Author N.C : “This is chaos rising! We should have brought them to an island!”

Author A : “So they could have an opportunity to fight each other? No this is better”

Author N.C : “If you say so. Now what do we do? Everyone is in their own world with someone else, in pairs!”

Author A : “Well the only thing left to do is to start the story don’t you think?”  

Author N.C : “And we could come back when everyone has calmed down”

Author A : “See you all folks on “Way More Than Meets The Eye”

Author N.C : “And in character introduction II”

Author N.C, Author A : “BYE!!”

Frankenstein : “Where are you two going!!!!!”

Chapter Text

I do not know from where I come from or where I am going. I do not know who was I or who I am. I do not know who my parents were or who my family is. I have walked on this road of loneliness for a long time, one that does not seem to end, it only darkens when a star starts to shine. Friends that have followed the path that I have had have lost themselves as this is not a road for them to take. I have suffered alone in this life that I have, on this path that I walk. If luck were to be a thing others would be suffering the same thing, with dreams unreachable as the darkness swallows us to a path we are destined to walk on. To a point of meeting a few who manage to survive this land of darkness and stars.

Chapter Text

Her heart jumped a beat or two as she ran, her black hair would sway side to side as she looked back. A boy would follow her, of dark red hair and brown/blue eyes, through the field of green grass and flowers, "Yokai, stop following!"

But the boy wouldn't answer until he brought her to the floor, "did you know, your eyes remind me of the freedom of the forest, and of the planes" , the girl smiled as she played with his soft hair. 

"Then, does that mean that I'm your freedom?", she looked up as she felt a kiss on her forehead. 

"I would be lost without you", 

“Then let us stay together, like the sun and the moon with the freedom of our hearts".

"Em !", she blinked once, twice, and a single tear came out. Maybe it was from the loneliness that she felt or was it because of her heart, though maybe she had long forgotten and did not matter any more. 

"Yes?", she questioned back, 

"The target is on the move, Em”  

"I'm already on them, Talanoa!" 

There was a sigh on the other side of the ear piece, "look Em, I'm sorry but you know how our boss is when she gets behind schedule" 

"True, and I don't even want to think of her now--, where the hell did they go?" asked Em, as she looked around where there had been a flash of light before they were gone, 

"Let me check'' 

For some reason she thought of something that led to another and hated the idea of where it was leading to, "Tala?" 

"He he, u are not going to like where I found them", Em shoulders slump down, 

"Is it where everything started?", 

"Hm, not for the ones that you are thinking, no, but for the Union yes". she felt like dying, she didn't want to go where the Union used to be, what if there were still some around looking for her, to use her, to kill her. 

"I could tell Thena to go with you", but she was too stubborn to let someone go with her, she rather risked herself than the rest. 

"No Tala, I would be fine. To South Korea it is"

Chapter Text

"We are going on vacation !", Tao shouted as he went to the living room, 

"Well you are, and Takeo maybe but, I'm not going", M-21 said as he went to the kitchen, preparing a dark coffee for him since he had recently been feeling less energy in his body than what he used to feel, and tiredness had claimed him whole. 

"M", this time Takeo called as he walked to the living room, done preparing his coffee he decided to lean against the wall facing the living room when he suddenly noticed the pair sitting at the other side, and winced as Frankenstein started to talk, and chills ran up his back as the piercing blue eye wouldn't leave from his body. 

"I want to believe that we were rather missed than the opposite", and then he looked at Tao who chuckled, 

"Why wouldn't we miss our parents?" Takeo glared at Tao for the response that he gave. 

The room fell in silence, though it did not last, "Well then, Master had thought that it would be great if we took you three to a trip, along with Regis and Seira" , Frankenstein was serious with the topic but the three could not believe it. 

"Is that true sir Raizel", Takeo had asked as he sat down next to Tao, 

"I have been away for far too long, and I do wish to spend time with the family, if that is what you all want?" Raizel finished as he then drank his cup of tea, "and what a better opportunity to have a trip all together, to make up for the lost time". 

The room suddenly went silent when the cup of coffee that M-21 held tapped on the counter, "Frankenstein, how long has it been?!", the light that once was in his eyes was long gone, the love that he had felt for them where did it went? if he didn't have it anymore?   

"We watched  you leave after the Union went down", M-21 said, "now you come here with Rai as nothing had happened for the past five months, and you also tell us to go to a family trip", he spat none stop, he was furious but he didn’t know who was his target, if it was them?, or himself? 

"M-21", Frankenstein spelled out, "this is an order of my Master!", he had gotten up from his seat, 

"You said it yourself, he is your Master not ours". 

Tao and Takeo would only see Frankenstein and M-21 arguing back and forth, no one giving in to one another. And for Raizel, he couldn't look up, he had failed to keep the family that he had, together, and only regrets were left in its stead.  

M-21 had started to leave, and pain had started to spread first to his heart and then to his head then to the rest, "M-21, where are you going? We still need to talk!", Frankenstein shouted. M-21 snapped, his anger, the pain, the voices inside his head were enough to attack.

"We were never a family to begin with!!"

Raizel looked up, the man that was in front of him was not the M-21 that he knew and remembered no, this one was lost and afraid, 

'Maybe things would not have turned this way if I had been here with them' . 

Raizel stood up, and with one hand he created a shield for everyone and everything around them. And as he entered the mind of the man he was stopped midway from reaching M-21 as a silver wolf around the height of his shoulders stood between them. Always in the mind of the people even when old they would be a younger version of themselves in their mind when they're in a vulnerable state, and in this case M-21 looks like a young child.

"You left us!" , the wolf said as he paced back and forth not letting him pass to M-21 who was down on the floor asleep, 

"I did", Raizel told looking at him in the eyes

"And you yet straight up admit it!" , the wolf growled 

"Though I do regret what I have done-", 

"Regrets don't help you"                                 

"The regrets are no good, though they help you learn", Raizel stood firm on his ground, he wasn't going to let the wolf win.

"You cannot fix the past even though you have learned",

"You are right, I cannot fix the past although I could create a better future-", 

"And what future is that?", Raizel's eyes widened as he saw M-21 suddenly standing next to the wolf's leg, though he had gotten distracted by M-21 and as soon the wolf had lunged an attack towards him. 

"Stop! You'll hurt him!", M-21 cried and so the wolf stopped,  

"Why did you stop me, Yokai?! He hurt us!" The wolf looked directly at M-21 forgetting Raizel was there. M-21 eyes were determined even though he was a kid in there, 

"That is not my name!", M-21 shouted, "and he did hurt us but he regretted it", this time M-21 looked at him, they both saw each other with sad eyes.

"What if he hurts us again? " , the wolf insisted, 

"Then, if he does he'll have his reason for why he did. Won't you?" M-21 was asking him this time.

"M, I won't let you get hurt again, by any one of us", Raizel said, assuring the kid,  

"I've known you to be one of your words, and the kid also trusts you", the wolf bowed down, "then could you seal me away? ", the wolf had asked but M-21 hugged the silver wolf tight not wanting to let go ,

" No! Don't leave me, who would protect me from Helsing?How would I protect them if they get hurt?", as always M-21 was worried for the rest's safety, though what caught Raizel off guard was the name Helsing in M-21's words.

"I will not seal you-", 

"Why?, I attacked you and the rest even when you weren't here, I deserved to be sealed for the action that I have done",  

"No, I will not seal you therefore if I do the kid would stay alone, and we would be losing a part that makes him, him. I will just keep you on watch, that would be all"

M-21 had run up to Raizel and hugged, " Thank you Rai", Raizel had frozen for a few sec when he then returned the gesture, but M-21 looked back at the wolf, "didn't he tell you that you were a part of me?" The wolf looked up at M-21, who had started to move his tail and so he slowly went up to the two of them.

The three of them were together again, and Raizel just wished that they would not be separated once again, and that the name Helsing wouldn't bring them any more problems.

"Frankenstein", Raizel called as he went to the man's side, 

"Yes Master?", 

"What M told was the pure truth, then why did you get so worked up?", Raizel asked not looking at his servant but instead at M-21, who was laid down on bed deep in his sleep.

"Master, the truth is painful to admit, while the lies are better to hide-", 

"And as a result we hurt the ones that we love. Do you not think that, Frankenstein?", the blond man bowed towards his master, 

"I am sorry Master, I will not do the same thing again", and with a nod of Raizel Frankenstein straightened up again as he turned to look at M-21.

"What do you remember of Helsing?", Raizel asked out of the blue, while Frankenstein's deep blue eyes widened as he looked back at his master, 

"You are saying Helsing, like in Van Helsing the Hunter of monsters?" There was only a nod from his master, "we used to work with each other along with Her, although when he knew that I had started to serve you Master he left with Her and labeled me as a monster, and when I lost you he had started to hunt me down with Her. Though I have not heard of them for hundreds of years to now", there was silence in the room the Frankenstein did not like, "why do you ask, Master?", 

Raizel just turned to leave, "Memories, Frankenstein"

The man sighed, "well then, ah one more thing master, I called Muzaka for so he could explain what could have happened to M-21", 

"Is he going to come and stay?", Raizel asked as he glanced back at Frankenstein, "yes, he will unfortunately"

"I trust you Frankenstein", Raizel left after one last glance at M-21.

"It seems that luck is at my side gentlemen and so I'll be taking my leave before it runs out, hope to not see you around", with a smirk at her face she took the USB out of the computer, she walked out stepping on the dead people she had once followed all the way to South Korea, clearly a headache for her as she did all the job on her own. With no second thought she began to run away from the mess that she had left behind, not looking back.

"Now, Now. that's how my girl works-", 

"Give me a safe way to get back home, Tala, I do not want to stay any longer in this place", Em looked down from the rooftops to the streets, where she saw the people that seemed to enjoy the night as there was no danger to their lives. 

"How. how I envy them. How, how I wish to be with those who I share the memory with", Em whispered to herself as she held herself in a tight embrace.  

"M-101, where were you?", 

"M-24, do not worry -", 

"I'm not the one worried, M-21 is", 

" M-101!, How many times have I told you to not leave us!, You know better to stay with us, what if the Union gets to you!", 

"I was just walking by the people when I got both of you this. A hat for M-24 and a trench coat for you, soon you will not worry about me, as I will be taking my leave"

"Tala, do you have the coordinates?", there was no response from the other side though an immense headache came like a crashing wave.

'Family...... Forgive me, And.......Forget every and single one of us' 

' Em...... find...... them' 

' Find...... him' 

' then....find.....us' 

Em found herself kneeling down over the pain that she had felt, though she did not know the reason why and with one look back she jumped down to a dead end covered by the darkness of the two buildings no one had seen her in. she pulled an illusion up covering her ears and tails, making them into nothingness. About to get going she had crashed with someone so solid like a rock that she had to wince on the impact, almost earning her to fall though she was stopped by the strong arm of the man she had crashed on. Blue jeans and black shirt the man had on, and a dark and long silver hair that would sway with the night air.

"Are ya alright?"

"Ah yes, I am fine but your phone is not", Em pointed out

"Nah, don't worry about it, it has gone by far worse", as she picked the phone up she noticed that the phone was not actually damaged.

"Ah well, I'll be taking my leave Uncle, love your style," Em screamed as she began to run away.

"First time that someone tells me that-", 

"Muzaka, where are you!!"

"On my way, man"

Em stopped at the dark side of the park, as she turned around to see two men standing in front of her, unrecognizable as they held a bandaged mask over their faces.

"Give us what belongs to us, and no harm would come to you-", 

"Aaand, why would I?, I got it fairly, it was your fault to begin with, you did not secure the area as it should have been, unless!", she gasp as the realization hit her, one that she could not doge. She saw more men gathered around her.

"You should know that this is like a you matter, not an I matter but oh well, Fuck you!" Em's voice boomed all around them, dismissing the illusion that she had used to lure them there, she smiled as she had begun to attack her attackers. She had grown used to seeing too much blood and death. 

'Was that even okay?' , she didn't pay much mind to it either way. 

"They weren't at your level it seems, but they were just toys in the end" 

"And you, A Monster "

"No, I'm a yokai and you two are simple monsters in this chapter of my life".

"No, I'm a Yokai and you two are simple monsters in this chapter of my life".

Em looked at her claws, covered fully with blood, 'maybe they aren't so wrong but that's for me to decide' , " to think that Helsing had started by hunting Monsters, now they create their own !" Em screamed as she and man 2 exchanged hits, though soon she was pushed to the wall by man 1.

She gasped for air as in her lungs there was none, she cleaned the blood that had started to drip on her lip, "you know that it is not fair to go 2 vs 1 right, but you give her a chance to come out and play"

"You Union bastards are all insane!!!", man 2 had said as he was preparing to attack her again though he was pushed back by a large fire wall.

"I do not belong to the Union!!!"

"Then even better!!", man 1 attacked her from behind throwing her to man 2

Man 2 hand went into her stomach, and pain erupted inside her though she was able to throw the man away from her. Em stood up straight creating a wall of fire behind her as she walked up to man 2, who she was locking him inside of a ball of fire, burning the man whole, just as her insides were.

In the end there was nothing, not even embers or ashes of the said man. Man 1 had gone totally mad when he saw his companion gone, as for Em, she couldn't keep up with him that earned her another stab on her back, she was now full of Helsing's poison and in any goddamn moment she was going to collapse.

"Give me what belongs to us !!!, or I'll rip you into many parts until I find it"

The man's hand twisted inside of Em's body, creating more pain that she was already on. "Even if I wished to give it back, how could I? If I lost it", Em turned her head slightly to look at the man  with now a burning hand that was once attached to her back.

"You-!", 

"Yes me, is going to end you", Em said as she began to slice the man once, twice, until it was her hand that was inside of the man's body, in his heart. Em let her hand there until the man wasn't a man but a bunch of ashes that she saw blowing away with the night wind. 

Passing by the fires they slowly burn out, there was no trace of fires nor smoke or ashes but her body was now in full pain, one that her healing power could not stop. In the end Em pulled an illusion, covering every wound, every mark, every drop of blood that she had on, just showing how she looked before the fight.

"What are ya doin' here kid?"

Em jumped up as she got caught with her guard down, "Ah, uncle what are you doing here? Are you following me?", Em stepped back, away from the man.

"No, no. I was just simply going home, it's that way", the man motioned straight up ahead, Em was about to say something else when she saw a man jumping over to where uncle was, with an ax in hand, full of poison that could be seen even dripping from the blade.

"Move!!" Em screamed as she pushed uncle to the side and brought her claws out, four fire slashes were sent towards the man who let out a cry of pain letting the ax fall to the ground. Em saw the opportunity and rushed towards the man, stabbing him in the chest sending every drop of poison that she had through her claws. Killing the man in an instant.

Em's actions took every single energy out of her, making her fall to her knees and so with the illusions that were no more. She looked behind her where she saw a fourth rush in her direction, standing up she got a hold of the ax, though wobbling she manage to throw it at the man at the head though the man had kept going, 

'They are truly monsters,' 

Soon the man went down as claw marks hit the man, though the claw marks didn't come from Em but from uncle. Em's body collapsed to the ground, "Heh, so you were a werewolf, Uncle?", Em asked looking up at the man who got closer.

"I'm the lord actually. Muzaka by the way, kid",

Em stayed silent not wanting to answer, but she did either way, "I lost everything when I was young, I don't remember if I had a father or a mother, a brother or a sister. I only knew about Helsing, who I used to work for, who experimented on me, giving me a name that wasn't a name at all.", Em was now whispering and her eyes were now heavy.

"Kid keep going, what did they call you?"

"M-101, but my name started with Em so I kept that part. When I started to work alone I called myself Yokai or Ak", her breath became shallow.

"It fits ya kid-"

"Don't call me kid. I am not a kid at all!"

"How old are ya then?" Muzaka asked, looking at her as he ran.

"I'm in my late 20's"

"Ya see, more to my reason. I have lived for far too long, and you are just a kid even in Kitsune years..", she could hear Muzaka's voice fading as she stared at him. The man had looked familiar to Em but she couldn't point it out why.

"Em, don't think like that!..” She didn't know what she had told him but she knew it was something that would hurt him since she could feel him speeding up, to who knew where to? In the end her eyes were too heavy to keep them open as she fell asleep.

Muzaka had finally gotten home or better said the home of the Noblesse and Frankenstein, with no care he banged at the door, he could enter by the window but he had learned his lesson so he had to knock at the door.

"For the love of Master, stop hitting the door like that Muzaka-", the dark energy that once surrounded Frankenstein died down as he looked down to what Muzaka was holding, a child to Frankenstein's eyes.

"Tao, Takeo, prepare the lab!!", he shouted turning back to Muzaka he said, "and you bring her down", both of them rushed down to the lab where everything was now prepared, Tao and Takeo stood on stand by as Raizel watch with them. Muzaka put Em's body down to bed as Frankenstein asked him questions as he started to work.

"Who is she? Where did you find her? How did she get into this state?"

Muzaka saw how Frankenstein prepared the IV, "she's a Mod-", Muzaka couldn't finish when the man inserted the IV to Em's arm and soon was thrown to the other side of the wall. 

Screams fill the room. Em's body twisted and turned as pain and fire covered her whole, "Tao !! Give me a strong sedative", Frankenstein shouted the orders as Muzaka held Em's body down.

"And you!!", the man pointed at the other man, "you brought a Modified human to my Master's home, what were you thinking!!!???"

"I was just thinkin' about the only person that could help her-"

"Enough"

Everyone went silent and even Em's screams stopped, as they all looked at Raizel, "Frankenstein, Help her, this is not an option." Frankenstein pinched his nose bridge as he remembered that his Master would help anyone who needed it, even if it meant wasting his life force. 

"Yes Master", with that said Tao gave him the sedative and went to straightly inject it to her body bringing her to an underlying calm state but something got his attention or better told, the black marks that the bracelet was covering it.

"Takeo, can you take the bracelet off"

Muzaka stepped back as he let the man work, as he went where Raizel was. "Your aura doesn't feel any weaker at all", Raizel looked at him with the same old poker face. 

"I have not used it since that day, Muzaka", 

"I'm glad that you haven't, my friend . How's the pup?", Muzaka changed the conversation to the main reason that he was there.

Both men turn to look at M-21 who was moving in his sleep, "His wolf is starting to overprotect him and was not letting me into his mind, when he needed help Muzaka", 

"That's reasonable Raizel. He has been alone in the life that he had, and it seems that he's afraid that the same thing will happen again." Muzaka then looked back to Em, "These two suffer around the same thing, or is what she told me when I brought her here, Raizel"

"She has the same mark as M!!!" Tao exclaimed, 

"But didn't he say that the list just went to 100?", Takeo added.

 "Wait", Tao took the bracelet from Takeo, "there's two USB's in the inside of the bracelet, here" Tao handed the bracelet back to Takeo, "I'll go get my computer"

"Master, I did my best as I could but she's not going to wake up as soon as I thought, her body is all unstable due to the amount of poison that her body contained. All though I am wondering what she was doing to get her body all messed up", Frankenstein looked straight at Muzaka without blinking. 

Muzaka just scratched his head, "Where have you been, Frankenstein. The Union has been long gone, for five months now. Don't you think that other groups wouldn't take this advantage, Helsing is up and running as well for other organizations, she was attacked by them, Frankenstein!" Muzaka's voice had risen a bit as anger started to build up by the ignorance of the other man, but Raizel's eyes widened a bit when he heard the name Helsing again.

"Hey boss", Tao dared to shout as he had the computer at hand now with everything open, and so he earned three pairs of eyes looking at him. 

"Tao what is it?" Frankenstein asked, a tiny bit of annoyance was heard in his voice due to the conversation with Muzaka being cut off short.

"Ah, you know this person right here was holding two USB's one is heavily secured, though it contains Helsing's information somehow, so I'll just check it out later-"

"And the other?"

"Well you see" Tao looked at Takeo  who only nodded in response, "it would be better if I show you", Tao then turned the computer towards the three men, and soon he hit play.

"O-okay is this on?",

"Yes"

"I wasn't asking you!, But thank you", the girl with green eyes and black hair looked back at the camera, "If you are watching this it'll be some of the many reasons such as one you forgot your name. Or you are a freaking person who likes to mingle in others little fucking business, so if that's the case please close this or ill go find you"

The first clip ended making Muzaka chuckle at how little Em acted in the video as for Frankenstein just look back at Em who was all asleep.

"Is there more?", Raizel asked, interested in the information that the video contained, 

"Ah yes let me just find the other folder", Tao told as he search through the info that was badly organized, "here"

"Hi, my name is Em or something that started with those letters and something that was related to fire, oh well. Today is my seventh or eighth birthday, who knows?"

"The doctors and the scientist know, now stop wasting time" There was a second voice, of a boy to be exact, as Em would keep looking back at the boy who stood on the door frame with dark red hair but that was the only thing that was shown of the boy at the moment.

"Okay we are clearly fuck up!", Em chirp

"Language!", the boy told

"You say the same thing-", 

"In defense-", 

"They still hurt you-", 

"I have my reasons-"

"Then I have to! Now if you would let me continue, thank you. We belong to one organization or better said, two now, The Uni and Helsi. Both of them created a project called may-eam-"

"It's called Mayhem"

"Yes that, and I heard that they would be taking 100 males and 100 females but the main one, also known as number 0 is him", Em turned the camera to where a water tank was and there was a man with silver hair and a lot of scars in his body.

"It says that he has been here for a very long, long time now", Em turns the camera back to her, "Do not lose this!, and remember that if you think this is not you, just look at the wrist we have the same mark", Em showed the M-101 mark of the wrist but then covered it.

"One last thing, this here is Yokai!, my boyfriend-"

"Idiot, I am not your boyfriend!, and my name is Ash not Yokai!"

"But it suits you, and you are a boy who is my friend, or are you not?"

"Whatever being is out there please let me stay with her, this Idiot needs someone to guide her. And if you wanted it you should have asked for it", the said boy ‘Ash’ turned to the camera and kissed little Em on her cheek, he held brown eyes or were they blue? that seemed to be full of light when he was next to her but behind them there stood a woman of orange red-ish hair and green eyes who leaned at the door frame smiling at the two kids, with her arms cross though she held a lab coat on her shoulders.

The five men looked at M-21 and then to Em, who seemed they wanted to know if they had ever crossed paths with each other but mostly to Muzaka and Em. "Tao, try to find more information if you can", Frankenstein ordered and soon both Tao and Takeo left the lab, then he turned to his Master, "Master we should leave them to rest", But Raizel wouldn't leave as he saw his friend standing between the two beds.

"Muzaka", Raizel called, gaining a bit of attention from the man, 

"Can. Can I stay here?"

Frankenstein looked at Muzaka, he would leave him just like that but he was covered in Em’s blood, and he knew that his friend needed to sort his thought, "Muzaka, take a shower first and then you can come back", with that the three men left the lab, leaving M-21 and Em alone.

Tao and Takeo searched for the info that Frankenstein had asked them for. 

In the bathroom of one of the many rooms Muzaka looked at the mirror, "How many times have I been used for?" 

In the living room Frankenstein served tea to his Master, "Frankenstein, when was the last time that you saw your sister?"

"Master, I truly do not remember when was the last time that I saw her. I only know that She was with Helsing"

Five days and five nights was what M-21 lasted asleep for. He woke up and shook his head as he felt a headache present but still it was fading so it wasn't much he couldn't handle, though the dream that he had was also the same and soon it would be something long forgotten or that was what he really wanted.

Slowly he stood up, feeling the dizziness trying to get him but disappeared at the moment he opened the door and received the fresh air that circulated through the hallway. He felt lonely, as if nothing had happened to begin with, ' there's just three of us in this building and no one else' he thought as he took a deep breath and headed to the kitchen, he didn't sense anyone or anything on his way there.

It was dark out so he knew that the others were down asleep, meaning that it was that time he would get up and go for a drink of water and a snack. He turned the light on and grabbed a cup of water and an apple, about to leave back to his room he noticed two pairs of eyes on him. One red and the other gray.

"M"

"Pup"

At that he dropped the cup of water that was once in his hold, shattering in the process. He closed his eyes and wince knowing well that where a Raizel was there was always a Frankenstein, quickly he got down and cleaned everything carefully trying to not cut himself in the process.

"Are ya 'right?", M-21 got startled when he heard Muzaka next to him, 

"I'm fine, old man", M-21 managed to tell when he saw that everything was clean, as no trace was there of a shattered cup.

"Hu, but I'm not even that old!" Muzaka complained as he was following M-21 to the living room seating near  Raizel was. 

"Be grateful that I'm not calling you grandfather"

"Well if you did, I would be calling you my grandson"

"That is why I prefer to call you an old man or just Muzaka. Now could you let me rest?" M-21 rubbed his eyes, he could feel the irritation creeping in, ' Beings, why does he act just like Tao? ', 

"You say that you want to rest, but you've done it for five days"

M-21 looked up to where Raizel was, who only nodded in response as he then let out a grone, "then everything happened, didn’t it?"

"M, why are you afraid if it did?", Raizel asked back but M-21 couldn't look him in the eyes. He stayed silent for a few minutes but he knew well that it was better to answer.

"Because I attacked the only people that I consider as my family, I would not be able to live with that in mind", and finally he looked up and he could feel his eyes water, ' feeling are known to make us weak and nothing more ', M-21 thought but he had learned that was not true.

"Even if you did or did not attack us, we are more than capable of defending ourselves, and to conclude your reasons for attacking us are all justifiable", Raizel said as he stood up and went towards M-21 and patted his back in comfort. "And so on, I beg of you to not keep your mind on thoughts that could bring harm to you. Now sleep it is still dark out", with one move of his hand over M-21 head he fell asleep right away.

"This pup tends to surprise me whenever I visit", Muzaka chuckled as he got hold of M-21's body, Raizel just looked at him dead in the eye, 

"Indeed Muzaka, now if you would let him rest by taking him to his room, I would be pleased"

"Raizel you are starting to sound like Frankenstein"

"Muzaka"

"I'm just sayin' ", Muzaka said as he left, taking M-21 to his room. Soon he and Raizel did the same but he didn't hold any pleasant dreams, the nightmares wouldn't leave him alone since he awoke from the water tank, and now they were stronger after he watched the video that Tao had shown them.

The Nightmares

He would find himself on his knees grabbing hold of his dead daughter, in a blink  of an eye he was consumed with rage and in the moment he had killed his best friend. In another blink he would find himself floating on the water tank, and at the other side of the glass he would see two children fighting, no training.

His ears were full of water but he could still hear them talk, "what are you going to do if they come for you?", the boy asked as he swung himself towards the girl but the girl manage to doge the boy and answer, 

"Unfortunately I would need to go without a fight or else things would escalate and become more painful", he noticed that the girl wasn't  much older than what her daughter used to be. 

The girl held skin color of light cinnamon and dark black curls, as he figured that the girl was Em, and the boy who held light skin and dark red hair, he knew it was Ash after he watched the video. "What if they pick a fight with you?", the boy asked as he swung his leg making the girl fall to the ground.

"Then I'll need to show that I am able to defend myself !", the girl had acted so fast that the boy couldn't register her actions as she managed to pin him down to the ground.

"I, I win Yokai", Em gasped for air  

"I can't fight with you about that anymore, Em. I can't seem to remember my name", the boy told  Em with pain.

"Then that makes it official, you are my Yokai"

In another blink everything became blurry but then he saw that both children were beaten up, pools of blood surrounded them, and near to their last breath, they called each other. In another blink, everything was clean again just as if nothing had happened, and instead of the children there training he saw a young woman with hair that seemed like fire and dark skin standing in front of him, but soon he recognized the person in front of him.

'Akata'

"My friend, I won't be able to stay by your side anymore. I've lost Victoria and Gold in the process by staying by your side. They took my child and her friend away in the end, Helsing and the Union are at war with each other, and that would be a problem having you wake up in the middle of it", the lights had shut down and he was sealed once more. There was just the silence of a weeping woman and then the voice of another woman was heard.

"Do not kill her, I need her alive!!"

🌕 

Muzaka woke up, sweating all over. He looked at the clock to realize that it was early night, "Hell", he said as he stood up and went to the bathroom. Standing there taking a shower didn't help as much as he had thought it would, Muzaka leaned his head forward as the water would flow through his hair.

'I don't know anymore. Are they my nightmares or my memories?' he asked himself, ' And if they end up being my memories, What happened to you Akata?'

"Ah! Good morning", Tao said, stretching every single limb of his body as he went to the kitchen but stopped when he noticed the tension of the room.

"Who broke one of my glass cups?", even in the words the dark energy was embedded within them as well as the owner. Everyone had gathered in the kitchen, looking at the trash can where the broken cup was. "I'll repeat it again, Who broke one of my glass cups!!" Frankenstein asked once again, this time making M-21 winced as he remembered when he dropped the cup due to the shock. 

"Frankenstein, I-"

"Yes!", Frankenstein smiled all but sweet, making M-21 rethink on what he was about to do but soon he saw Muzaka put a hand in front of him, 

"Pup, don't blame yourself when we both know that I'm the one responsible", the said man was now in between him and Frankenstein. He wasn't expecting it but he knew better to expect the unexpected in the family that they were, and knowing the relationship that the two men had, well he was safe.

"Muzaka!" Frankenstein was about to go out, as the trio took many steps back entering the living room in the process.

"Frankenstein", the beast calmed down as he was called out by his Master.

"Y-yes Master?", Frankenstein asked, looking at his Master that stood in front of the trio, 

"Breakfast, and then you can continue although do not hurt him too much", the trio looked at Raizel in shock, 

'He changed' the three thought, 

'But for the better?', Takeo asked to himself, 

'For the worst?', Tao thought, 

'I don't even want to know', M-21 lastly thought.

"Yes Master", he told Raizel and as soon he looked at Muzaka, "What did you do to my Master to let my frustration out on you?", the question of concern came out.

"I might have compared him with someone ....", Muzaka said as he tried to escape, 

"You did What!"

For the next couple of hours they had breakfast and later on they watched as Frankenstein and Muzaka went back and forth attacking each other or in this case it was mostly Frankenstein, just as if it were a TV show but in their basement. All though it had been brought to a stop due to the ringing of the door bell.

"Are we expecting visitors?" Takeo asked, and everyone looked at each other. Everyone headed out of the training room and up to the main floor where they found Tao opening the door to reveal the three clan leaders.

"If it isn't the rest of the RK!", Tao cheered just like a little kid as he went straight to hug them but Seira was fast enough to let Regis and Karias get flattened by Tao. 

"If it weren't enough with Muzaka here, you two come here with Miss Seira in three!", Frankenstein exclaimed, ' and to add still Miss Em is asleep in the lab and needs to be checked every four hours' , 

"The lord told us we could go where the Noblesse was but she never told us why", Seira explained, trying to calm Frankenstein down.

"Who actually knows? Maybe sis just wants us to take a break after such a long period of time. Tao you leach! Let us go!", Karias tried to say oh so gracefully but failed due to Tao.

"Oh, I doubt that", Muzaka commented as he left to clean himself up from the mess that a certain man made. 

Frankenstein sighs, "make yourself at home, everyone still has the same room that they did before", with that said the man went down the hall and into the lab, M-21 soon after did the same as he went to the balcony, but Regis was soon following the man.

🌕

M-21 stood there on the balcony all alone, watching the sun that had started to set just like many times before, waiting for the wind to tell a tale before going to rest once again.

"You don't seem glad that we are back?"

M-21 knew who the voice belonged to so damn well, that he had missed it for a long time now, "Ha, I am glad to see you all once again", he answered, not looking back at Regis.

"Then why does this not seem like it?", the boy asked as he stepped closer to him until they could see one another.

M-21 finally looked at Regis as he leaned on the railing with arms cross, "I was just remembering the past, the time that we spent with the kids and, all the arguing"

"The ones that would start out of nowhere and end somewhere?", Regis scuffed, "Yes they were annoyingly good time", 

M-21 smirked at that said, "but I remember that they were fun, not annoying for you", he rubbed Regis hair until it was messed up, "but, it is good to have you back, kid", M-21 left Regis alone blinking at how M-21's attitude had change with the conversation that they had, but soon he realized what M-21 had called him.

"I am not a Kid!!" 

'Yes, yes you are'

Everyone was at the dinner table, except for the one who had headed to the lab and hadn't come out yet, and they were waiting for him though Raizel did not mind but the others were getting hungry.

M-21 stood up from his seat, "I will go for him", with that he excused himself and headed down to the lab. "Frankenstein", M-21 called as he entered the main lab, not seeing anyone around he went to the second room, "Frankenstein, the diner is ready. Everyone is waiting for you"

"I'll be done, let me just finish, there" Frankenstein told but this time M-21 wasn't listening as he saw who was in bed.        

"What is Yokai doing here?", M-21 asked looking at Frankenstein who was now standing beside him, "Yokai?"

"M-101 '', the man looked at Em and then back at M-21, 

"I'll explain everything, let's go with the rest", Frankenstein told softly, not wanting to wake Em up.

"I am sorry for being late for dinner", Frankenstein apologies himself for the delay, "recently, a week ago Muzaka had brought a person badly injured, and she's still here asleep"

"And who is she?", Regis asked

"We don't know her well but, what we know is that her name is around Em or as M-21 knows her M-101 or Yokai"

"M-101?", Karias asked

"I will explain everything after dinner, we don't want the food to get cold", Frankenstein commented

'Maybe it already did' , M-21 thought

She gasped for air as she woke up, painful waves would rush to her head but the pain was something that she got used to in her life and no one could get rid of the feeling in her memory. 

"How long have I been here for?" Em asked as she opened her eyes and noticed a blond man walking around.

"Around a month", Frankenstein calmly said, 

'Shit ' Em thought as she abruptly sat up, slowly she uncovered herself and lifted her shirt up and noticed that she was all wrapped up, 'almost like a mommy', she peeked under the bandages to only see the nasty scars left in her body, 'another to the collection'. One look to her wrist she felt everything crumble, she began to search everywhere in the bed, under it, and around it. "where, where is it?", Em asked herself but stopped when Frankenstein looked at her, she shivered in response as she then figured who the man was. The blue eyes of the man and the gold-like hair were unmistakable features.

"What are you searching for?", Frankenstein asked

She lowered her head to the man, "where is the bracelet that I had on my wrist?" Em didn't look up at the man, she was powerless before, and now even more as she could be considered as human due to the poison that she could still feel in her system.

"Ah, here I had to take it off so I could do the proper procedures", Frankenstein gave back her bracelet and as soon as she grabbed it she searched the insides to find nothing in it. Em gulped at the thought that she might have lost it when she was fighting, but her thoughts were interrupted as she looked up to Frankenstein who showed what she was looking for, 

'My info'.

"Are you searching for these?", Frankenstein waved the USB in front of her

"Give them back, they don't belong to you", Em stood up from the bed going straight for the USB in Frankenstein hands, but at the first step she felt her balance off, and as everything was spinning around her. Frankenstein had to grab her in the end.

'It will be hard to readjust again'          

Frankenstein sat Em down to her bed, ' I shouldn't have done that ', Frankenstein thought as he went back to his research, "you should rest more before doing reckless actions", 

Em stared at him, "But you were the one who caused them", But still she layed back down and rested her mind of the thoughts that were rushing in and out just as a storm.

'If this is Frankenstein that means that the Noblesse is here, with him the RK, and within the RK M-21, this will be a complete chaos'

"How long are you going to stay here?", M-21 asked, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.

"As long as I'm allowed to stay here, pup", Muzaka said as he sat on the couch, all relaxed but their phones began to buzz.

Frankenstein : Miss Seira, can you start cooking  without me, I'll be late again

Seira : Yes sir

Muzaka : Why is that?

M-21 : Just let him be

Frankenstein : I just have things to take care in the lab, Nothing of your interest Muzaka

Muzaka : Oh, but I do have an interest in the person who saved me and she's in the lab

Frankenstein : For your information she's still asleep

Tao : Boss I have all the papers that you need to sign

Frankenstein : I still can't believe how you manage to mistreat the school that I made for my Master!!

Tao : That is why I'm giving it back to the rightful owner?

Takeo : Tao just shush

Takeo : Don't make things worse

M-21 : Takeo just leave him, what's done it's done

M-21 : It's time to fix what was done

Frankenstein : Yes you two were also the cause of this since I left Tao in charge and you two were supposed to help him out 

Frankenstein : Meaning that I would be needing the money from you three, meaning that there would be no paychecks until everything is fixed

Tao : Nooooooooo!!!

Takeo : As expected

M-21 : Meh

Regis : Tao, what were you expecting really?

Frankenstein : Now, now, get to cook everyone, help Miss Seira out

Everyone shivered when they saw Frankenstein send the emoji, (1 he would never send one only when he wanted to show how he was feeling, (2 everyone would be in trouble if one didn't obey his orders. Yes he was one scary man indeed.

"Would you at least help clean up", M-21 lastly told Muzaka before rushing to the kitchen to help Miss Seira out.

"I will, I'm not ready to die by his hands"

"I can tell that you are not asleep at all", Frankenstein said as he put his phone back in his pocket. 

Em uncovered her head as she sat up, "That sir, would be 'cause everything in here is too loud to even close one's eyes", Em motioned her hands to everything that was around her, Frankenstein only shoot an eyebrow up, 

"I made this lab, and there is no sound coming from anywhere-"

"Then the poison has finally made me go Mad", Em let herself fall back, she had the need to run out of the lab and get fresh air even if it meant seeing M-21 again.

Frankenstein hummed as she had mentioned something about the poison, meaning that it was the moment to ask about it, but before he could ask Em had called him with his full name, something he wasn't expecting at all. "There is something in your mind, what do you want to know, Victor Frankenstein?" Em asked but then she had to turn her head to the side to find the man chuckling as he then began to actually laugh, making her ears ring in the process.

"Ah, it's been a long time since someone had called me by my real full name, where did you hear it from?" 

Frankenstein sat right in front of her but this time it was Em's turn to chuckle, "It seems that Tao wasn't able to open the USB up, huh?"

"That is why you are still here and now that you are awake you’ll be the one to open the USB up, Em", Frankenstein was now closer to Em and Em's eyes widen when she heard her name being said, so she got closer to him just leaving and inch in between them.

"Ah but you have seen what the other USB contained, didn't you?"

"I won't lie, but we did. Now do tell"

Em didn't even dare to blink, "Helsing, they know of every being alive or dead, none-human or human related. What did you expect?" Frankenstein noticed too much pain, too much venom in Em's words, he now regretted the question that he asked but he at least needed to know.

"Then tell me what the poison does?" Frankenstein tried to change the question but it was still connected to the said group, though he had seen Em relaxed a bit as she soon backed away from him and let herself fall back. So he stood up and went to the drawer. 

"It's unique in its way since it was created by that man. It disables the power that one holds, it wouldn't last long but", Em stayed silent, and Frankenstein stopped what he was doing.  

"But what?"

"This time they succeeded, they sealed my power completely making me just human, though it was meant to kill me. Though do you know what this poison does to beings that are not human related?", Em asked, sitting back up to look at Frankenstein.

"Do they become human?" 

Em shook her head, "The poison makes them go Mad and they lose themselves in the process"

"Was that the reason that you saved Muzaka?", Frankenstein took some clothes out to see Em smile but there was pain in that smile that couldn't be covered, ' what horrors did you go through?'   

"Yes that, and also because this is my second time they consider myself dead in the same way though the poison was less deadly, and this clothes?" 

Frankenstein handed her some clothes that were pretty similar to the ones that she had on, when she was a total mess. "Are for you or are you planning to not attend dinner today?"

Em thought about it, but shook her head, "Nah, I think I have already missed enough already. Now about the USB?"

Frankenstein chuckles, "We'll talk about it after dinner, that is when you'll have them, alright?"

"Yes sir"

"Now I'll be in the next room so you could change", Em hummed in response as he left.

Frankenstein walked up in front as Em followed a few steps behind as she looked at her surroundings, "I'll be showing your room first" Frankenstein told, earning Em to look up at him, 

"My room but-", 

"Do you have any other places to go to?" Frankenstein turned to look at her with a raised eyebrow.

Em smirked, "May-be I have, may-be I don't, may-be I just want to stay here until I can no more", at the end she shrugged ignoring Frankenstein's glare, 

' Nerve wracking as M-21, for sure'    

Em saw the room, it was plain but it was enough for her, "thanks", was what Frankenstein managed to hear as Em wandered into the room and then out, heading towards the hallway where the balcony was located. Em stopped taking the fresh air as she then began to walk back to where Frankenstein was. "Who sleeps in front of me? To the left? And to the right?", Em asked three questions in a row letting Frankenstein think about what she had asked for.

"Ah, M-21 sleeps in front of you, at your left Miss Seira and at the right, Muzaka", Frankenstein groaned.

"Well I've seen Miss Seira and she seems nice but, the other two will give me a headache", Em told as she rubbed her forehead, 

' It might be the other way around' , Frankenstein gladly thought, 

"Should we go eat dinner?"

Em nodded, "lead the way"

Em pulled the hood on as she leaned against the wall looking at the dining area, watching Frankenstein arrange the table, she blinked once, then twice, as she then saw another dining area with blurry faces, nothing could be used to recognize the people. Em blinked again and then she saw everyone staring at her, "are you all right?", Takeo asked, as he then stood up and went next to her, Em pulled the hood down in respect,  

"Yes, I'm alright no need to worry I, I was just thinking about something, that's all"

Takeo, as the older brother that he acted in, didn't let go of her that fast, "Are you sure?", 

"Yes I'm fine, now where do I sit?", Em asked as she and Takeo walked towards the table.

"You sit here, kid", Muzaka said, as he motioned to the seat that was in front of M-21 and next to the man. 

"I think I already told you my name, didn't I, uncle?", Em said as she sat down and saw that next to her was Takeo.

"Hm, I think that you did, but someone was dying at the moment, and you are calling me uncle", Muzaka answered back, earning Em to smirk, 

"The reason that I'm calling you uncle will be 'cause I was dying at the moment, you said it yourself didn't you?", this time Em didn't even look at him but instead at M-21 who was watching her every movement.

"These two are going to be worse than M-21 and Regis", Tao whispered to Takeo who was looking at the bickering of the two.

"Bet my half of my paycheck that they are not", Takeo whispered back  (A/N, boy did you forget)        

"Do I need to remind you, that you two have no paychecks and, M-21 nor I have done that since we had returned", (A/N, do tell my little elegant freak boy)  

"Muzaka"

"Em - Yokai"

"Now that you two have reintroduced yourselves, can the others do the same?", Frankenstein smiled but, it was that one smile of his that made everyone gulp. Though Em just smiles back at the man.

"Okay let's see. Rai, Frankenstein, Regis, Miss Seira, Takeo, bowl cut cat Tao, Muzaka, Sir heart eye Karias, and M-21", In the end she smiled all innocently though knowing well what she did there.

Tao and Karias soon turn their heads towards her, "what did you call us!?"

"What, I just called you two by your names, Tao and Sir Karias?", Miss Seira smiled as she had heard well what Em had called Tao and Sir Karias, she knew that Em wasn't so wrong about them.

"Now that's done, why don't we start to eat before it goes cold?" Frankenstein told and everyone went silent and began to eat but the silence did not last as everyone was done eating, the only ones that weren't talking were Raizel, Miss Seira, M-21 and Em.

"Miss Seira, how are you able to deal with all the boys?", Em asked, as she looked at Miss Seira, 

"I don't, I just ignore them or join them, sometimes"

"Then I'll just need to do the same thing", Em said as she stood up from her seat and went straight to the sink where M-21 had started to wash the dishes.

"I see that you are still alive", M-21 said, grabbing her dishes, as Em leaned against the wall where she could see him well, 

"Oh, I see that you are still the same. And did you really expected me dead, boy, I'm difficult to get rid of"

"Then, where have you been?", M-21 asked not looking up at Em since he knew that it would pain them both.

"There were places that didn't have you, nor them, M-21. They didn't have anyone to free them! Why do you think that I was suspected to be dead, M-21?" Em shouted the question out, earning some eyes on them,  "I helped free my people but that had brought me to death door steps, M-21. I didn't want the same thing that happened to your people, to happen to mine! M-21", Em said as she finally found M-21 eyes. "All though, when I came back I found that M-24 is long gone but you weren't alone. You had the RK by your side, Frankenstein and Rai as the protectors, A family in the end, something that was only for you, so I left", she gave one last glance at M-21 as she left the dining area and up to where the rooms were located.

'Why, Why?, Why did I ask her that?, Why did I say that?, If I already knew why', M-21 thought as he finished the dishes and left to the balcony.

The rest just stayed sited not knowing what to do, until Takeo chirped in, "I will do the rest of the dishes"

"I'll go talk to M-21", Regis told as he stood up

"I'll go see Em", Muzaka added in the end

Leaving the rest to clean the mess of the table that somehow it was created without knowing.

Memories  

"M-24, M-21, I hope to see both of you again, and good luck with your mission", Em told, as she was about to leave though she was stopped by M-21 grabbing her wrist,

"Where are you heading to, M-101?", M-21's voice quivered, he didn't want to let her go as he thought that they would be more lonely without her, but Em tugged her hand free from M-21's grasp.

"I won't be going by M-101 anymore", Em told sadly, not looking at the two men who stood by her side, 

"What will it be then?", M-24 asked,

"Yokai, it means strange apparition I think, the truth is that I don't want to go by a code name anymore. I don't want an organization code for a name, I want to have a name for myself, something that connects to what I am now, either way that name reminds me of one friend that I had a long time ago" 

"Then Yokai, where are you going to be heading to?", M-21 asked, he looked down at the city night, watching the same thing that Em was watching, 

"I will be needing to head back where my batch is currently at, I heard that half of them were a success but I know well that they will not leave them be, not after what I did to them", M-21 felt anger rise but he didn't know to who it was for, to Yokai for wanting to go back and save her companions, or to Helsing who was making Yokai go back by using her companions.

"What if you can't?", but what he was mostly feeling was fear, fear of losing her.

"Did you forget who I am?", Em questioned as she looked back at M-21, so did M-21 but much slowly, "M-21, don't worry I'll be back, and when I'm back we will defeat the Union and Helsing", Em then gave both men a hug but a kiss to M-21 as she jumped of the building leaving them alone.

"Then who is she to you?", Regis asked, looking up to M-21 as they stood in the balcony, 

"She was like a sister to M-24 when we bumped into each other. For me she was a friend, but one I might have lost over this argument that we had", now he knew that he was angry with himself, he knew M-101, Em, Yokai. Were in different batches, in a different organization but both of them we treated the same and were done the same.

'Then why am I acting like that towards her? Did I really miss her that much?'

"It's raining, again", Em sniffed, she cleaned her new tears that were replacing the old ones, "I should have known better that you would act like that towards me, Hopes aren't really meant for me, are they?", she questioned herself as her hand reached up to the moon, as if she were to touch at least the side of it. "I cannot stay in the same place where he is, Muzaka. Either way, I still have things to do and people to find", Em let her hand fall as she answered to Muzaka who took a seat next to her on the cold roof top of Frankenstein house.

"Kid, I don't know what happened between you and the pup but don't do things for him. It seems that you have done enough for others, but what have you done for yourself?" Muzaka was gentle with the question, since he wasn't much of a person who would deal with friendship problems or whatever was happening between the pup and Em.

"I.. I don't really know anymore," Em answered, leaning on his shoulder taking all his warmth in, "I thought I was helping myself by searching for someone but, I haven't found them and at this rate I just think it will only hurt me more to know what happened to him. So I kept doing things that would keep me distracted from my ... feelings?" Muzaka stayed silent, just making company and warmth for Em who kept looking up at the night sky though, a starless one.

🌕

"Aish. Here, I thought you weren't a person of support or motivation but, it seems that I was wrong. All though you call M-21 pup?", he had to laugh, due to the face of wonder that Em was making, it was just one like a child. One that his friend would make when they would go traveling somewhere new, or were learning something from Frankenstein.

'Akata, if she is your child, I promise that I will take care of her. And if she is not, I still will on your name protect her for she is part Kitsune as you were once'       

"I couldn't help it, he's young to consider an adult in werewolf years"

"It's 'cause of his heart, isn't it?" 

"Ya, sometimes I wonder who's the heart that beats in his chest, but I'm afraid it's from someone I once knew", it was now his turn to feel sympathy for. Em took this as a sign to pat his back in comfort not wanting to disturb him with a hug.

"Don't go there, it's just a black hole waiting to suck you in" Em suggested as she stood up from her spot, walking up to the edge where the balcony was.

"Heh, I was the one to comfort you, not the other way around!"

"Hu, says who Uncle?" Em asked as she went down to the balcony with a swift move though she wasn't expecting who she was going to land on.

"YOKAI!", M-21 screamed at the impact

"What were you doing up there?", Regis asked

"Get Off Me!!", Em cried out, since she was tangled with M-21

"Em", Muzaka called, as he looked down where he saw the two on the floor, but what he didn't notice was when called Em it sounded just like M. 

"What?", both of them answered

"Not you pup, Yokai-"

"Don't come asking if I'm alright 'cause I am, but keep in mind that it was you who caused this", Em said somewhat in a playful way as Muzaka went down to the balcony.

"Now, would you mind getting off me!" M-21 just kept looking at her bright green eyes, frozen at the spot, but the presence of someone made him stand up so fast that he got light headed in the process.

"What happened here?!", Frankenstein asked, and everyone froze as they took an eye on the man who stood on the doorway of the balcony, looking at the four.

"Nothing", the three boys told and Em rolled her eyes in response while M-21 helped her up

"Actually, I felt a bit dizzy and M-21 got hold of me but he lost his balance making both of us fall to the ground that's all", Em looked at Muzaka, hoping that Frankenstein would believe what she had told since earlier she was feeling a bit dizzy.

"Mhm, I don't know if to believe you or not but, we are having a meeting in the living room so you three go get your seats. I need to talk to her alone", Frankenstein only looked at Em, no one else, so the three looked back at her as they left her with the man. When Frankenstein saw that the three were gone he took the USB out and handed it to Em, "Show us what this really holds", with that Em nodded and took the USB from his hands.

"Where did you learn to do this?" M-21 asked, as he watched Em type faster on the computer that Tao had given her.

"M-21, I'm a fast learner. I just got it from ... a friend", 'That I can no longer remember of'.   "Oh well, here it is", all the information popped up on the big screen but none understood what it held or meant.

"What are we seeing here Em?", Regis asked, who was taking a seat next to Miss Seira and sir Karias.

"Well Regis, this is The live copy of Helsing's info!", Tao couldn't believe what he was seeing, he had tried to open the USB up but he couldn't and he had dreamed about he, being the one to figure the data, the info of Helsing like what he did with the Union.

"How can I trust that this is an authentic live copy of Helsing's info?, I tried to open it up but it wasn't this!", Tao mentioned as his hands showed the screen

"I was who got this info, wasn't I?", Em asked looking at Tao at the eye, "Either way what you saw was what They want the people to see and know of them"

Takeo shifted on his seat, "Yes Takeo?", 

"Then they want the people to think about them as an organization that is meant to create cures for new, or strange diseases ?", 

Em sadly nodded, "unfortunately, that is how it is".Everyone took a moment of silence to take in what they had just learned of Helsing, though Em kept going, she had had enough of the ill intentions of Helsing and she wanted to go by it fast.

"Helsing is divided into three fractions, The North, The South and The Central. Tao the reason that you also couldn't find this info, was 'cause I made sure to lock every single part up" Em took a seat on the floor as she kept on typing on the computer without looking at the big screen or to the rest of the people.

"You mention that it was a live copy, right Em?" Frankenstein asked as he served tea to his master and one for himself

"Yes", 

"Then is it safe?, none detectable in any way, right?" Tao was so concerned, Em had brought info of Helsing into their home, and they had not so recently gotten the Union off their backs, he clearly did want Helsing, another organization, on their backs again. Something had gone through Em's mind when Tao had asked the question, if it was safe?

Memory Time             

"And when I take this info, would it be safe? Would they be able to track it down wherever it's going to be open?"

"Did you forget who you're talking with! I am better than Tao himself. I created this USB for you, this will copy everything and send you every change that will be made. You'll just be a ghost in the ones and zeros, nothing of this can be detected, Miss Foxy"

"Oh you know better not to call me Foxy, Hamster!" 

End of Memory Time       

Em smiled at Tao as she then answered, "No, no they can't Tao. This USB is clearly modified for this sole role, making us like ghosts as we are looking around"

"How sure are you Yokai?", M-21 asked, making Em stop at her tracks and glare at him dead in the eye. 

"I made them with a friend, M-21, and you will need to trust me on that, can you?", she resumed in her work with a sigh and look back at her screen    

"What do you all want to know about Helsing?" Em asked them, though she let them think about the questions, not rushing them up.       

"Well, when both of us were in the lab at the time you woke before coming here, you told me that they know of every being alive or dead, non-human or human related, what do you mean by that? and could show us?", clearly Frankenstein was the first one to ask the question.

"Hah, I knew that you would be the first one to ask"Em answered looking up at Frankenstein, "So I'll ask, do you want the info all together or separated?"

"I choose the one that makes the most sense, Em"

"Yes Sir, then the third option it is",

"Em, is it countable the number of beings that are in Helsing's system?", Takeo wondered since everyone couldn't be Helsing's target, but there was still a chance of that being almost true.

Em stopped typing on the computer and lowered her head to Takeo's question, "It's a countless amount, Takeo. I'm sorry if that wasn't what you wanted to hear", with that she brought the info that Frankenstein had asked about.

The information was set on rows: (A/N, I am not going to write every single one who is dead or alive, so if you know then you know, if you don't then it's time to reread the story. Also I'm adding the names of the new characters that would be important later on)

Nobles: Raizel, Raskreia, and the rest of the Nobles that are alive, and then the dead Nobles last.

Werewolves: Muzaka, Garda, and the rest of the Werewolves that are still alive, Ashleen and the dead Werewolves

Elementalist: Violet, Midnight, Ozul, Uriel, Amata, Na, Zack, the rest of the Elementalist that are alive, the unknown if they are dead or alive Jack, Ivy, Void, Alexander, and the dead Elementalist

Kitsune:   Unknown if dead or alive, Akata, all dead  

Human related/Modified: Frankenstein, Takeo, Tao, M-21, Na, some of the Human related/Modified that are still alive, the unknown if they are dead or alive Victoria, Gold, Thena, Talanoa, M-101, and the dead AKA the Union

The basics, as of all targets", Em lastly told as she saw how everyone was silent in thought with their own questions, so she waited until they were ready to continue. Oh how they didn't know that they were just seeing the pick of the iceberg.

Frankenstein asked the first question from the list of many, "Victoria Lee Frankenstein, Gold Lee F. Why are they on the unknown list? Why are they on the target list?" Frankenstein didn't know how to feel, angry for her staying with Helsing even though he had told her to leave him, sad for becoming a single mother of a child that could belong to that Mad man of Helsing, worried?

"You don't know do you?", Em asked looking up at the trembling man behind Raizel

"Know what Em?", his big brother figure was showing, now when he couldn't be in the past, now that his sister might not need him anymore.  

"Victoria and Gold are known to be close enemies with Helsing-", 

"Since when?", Frankenstein really wanted to know everything that belonged to the two

"Right after the war between Helsing and the Union ended", Em stated with the last words of what she knew about them.

Raizel could feel Frankenstein overwhelmed with his thought and to add, Dark spear had started to whisper in Frankenstein's mind not wanting to leave him alone, ' Frankenstein ' Raizel reached out to his bonded mind but there was no immediate response from the man, ' Frankenstein ',

' Yes Master ' 

'You know better, calm down. It is for your own good as for the others as well'            

'I'm sorry Master'

"So this is saying that all the Kitsune are all dead?", Karias asked, his eyes had darkened when they had begun to talk about Helsing, but now they were glossy by the tears that were accumulating by seeing that almost the Kitsune race was gone completely.

"I don't know for sure, there might be some hidden but this could also be saying the right thing. All though I could tell you that I'm one third Kitsune, cupid", Em pointed at herself for a second and stopped when she called Karias cupid even though she was right. Karias smiled at the attempt of Em cheering him up with the name call.

"Weren't you on the Human related/Modified list?", Regis asked pointing at her         

"It is rude to point, Regis, and yes since I was clearly experimented by Helising"

"Then what about the other two thirds?", Takeo looked at her concern, maybe he was too direct and personal to answer, "Ah I didn't mean-"

Em waved it off, "It's fine, I'm just part human, part Kitsune, and part of something that's going to kick my ass later on, I just know it", the last part was mainly for herself.

"What 'bout the Elementalist?" Tao added

"Ah don't worry about them", Em advised, "They have a tendency to stay in their territory, and mainly at the Casa of Elementos. Think of them like the Nobles but don't treat them like one", Em shivered at the memory of meeting them.

The questions went on and on, as Em tried her best to explain leaving her too tired to answer more but, she was glad that she had managed to cover everything, questions and wanderings. Or so she thought 

🌕         

"Hey kid ya all right?", Muzaka asked looking at Em who was the only one who stayed with Raizel, Frankenstein and him as the rest had gone to rest.

"I'm fine, I just feel that I'm missing something, or some people, but I'm having a headache by just trying to think about it...", Em words were fading as she was falling asleep and about to go head first to the computer Frankenstein coughed her.

"Poor child, she exhausted herself to sleep," Frankenstein told as with one hand closed the computer and got hold of Em firmly, laying her on the couch. "She was meant to take it slowly after her body just healed and the poison still is lingering in her body"

"My thoughts are that you just asked too many questions when she woke up, did,'t you Frankenstein?", Muzaka asked

"Wasn't you the one who was arguing with her before and after dinner?"

"She was arguing with M-21 after dinner, Frankenstein, not me!"

"All of us made her tired", Raizel lastly told as he set his tea cup on the plate.

Muzaka sighed as he stood up and went next to Em, who was now in his arms, "I'll go take her to her room", Frankenstein arched an eyebrow, he knew that the man did not know where Em's room clearly was so he felt the need to tell, 

"She'll be staying in the room that's in front of M-21 and in between you and Miss Seira" Muzaka just hummed in response as he went up stairs, leaving the two men alone, just as it was before.

🌕

"Master, you must already know that I'll be the Chairman of the school again, due by the mess the old Chairman made on my school", Frankenstein shivered at the state that he saw his school on, 

'Note to self, Never ever leave something you or Master value, in Tao's or anyone's hands'            

"Everything would start again, teachers, students, everything. And I wanted to ask you Master, would you want to go to school again?"

Raizel stayed silent, he was once a student there, with friends that he had gained, although he knew that he would need to Start Over, again. "I accept, and Frankenstein", Frankenstein looked up to him, "please ask this to Miss Seira, Regis, and Em. She might be interested as well"

"I agree, she could use this to focus on something else as she heals but, I already did", he pulled out the papers that Tao had given him after dinner.

Raizel let out a long sigh, "Frankenstein can you at least ask her?" The small smile that was on Frankenstein's face slowly disappeared with a, 

"Y-yes, Master"

Chapter Text

The next morning during breakfast, Frankenstein asked Em what his Master had told him even though he had the papers ready to submit, but of course Em had asked if she could get some time to at least think about it. Later at dinner Em had the answer for Frankenstein's question, agreeing that it would be nice to go to school but she wondered if it was the right choice at the moment, though she stayed firm on her word, ignoring her second thoughts that had started to rise.

That week she had ignored M-21 all the time that she could, staying with Tao or Takeo, having girl time with Miss Seira, having small chats with Sir Karias and Regis, drinking tea with Raizel and Muzaka, to even learning one or two things from Frankenstein. It only took her one more fight with M-21 that made her spill his blood, her lips tainted with blood from a kiss that she had gone for before taking her leave. 

Em took nothing with her that night, just the clothes that she had on and her gear with an extra jacket, leaving the USB that contained Helsings info and a new one that contained all the reasons that she couldn't stay with them.

🌕           

The next day, Muzaka had gone to wake Em up for breakfast as he only found the USB's on her bed as she was now long gone from them. Everyone had gathered in the living room as it was ordered by Frankenstein when Muzaka had told him of Em leaving them, "She left these two behind, Frankenstein", Muzaka gave the USB to Frankenstein as he gave them to Tao. As Tao got them he opened the new USB that was left behind, bringing up the video on the big screen.

Video time  

"Is everyone here?" Em asked as she tilted her head a bit, her once black here had started to change back to the orange-y red-ish color, brightening her green eyes.

"Maybe you all are there watching, and maybe you all are not there watching", Em let out a long tired sigh, "But I know one or two things, Muzaka went to my room and only found the USB's so you are watching this, M-21 might be blaming himself over there leaning against the wall as always but, know this M-21. This is not your fault at all."

Em rubbed her lips as if something was still there as she then continued to talk, " I want to say that I am thankful for letting me stay as I recovered from the wound and poison but, I had to go. I'm just someone who is being followed by chaos and mayhem, and I do not want to be the one to bring problems that aren't even meant for you all".

She looked down at a pocket watch that she had brought out of her pocket, something that looked so old that could be considered a relic, "M-21, I'm sorry for spilling your blood but get this to your mind, what happened was not your fault it was mine and we'll see each other soon, I hope. And Frankenstein, I would have really loved to go to your school but it seems that it will be till the next time, I still have people to search for"

Before the video ended Em didn't look up to the camera but she had a smile on her face, a real one, "So I figured something Muzaka, Foxes are not that distant from the wolves, so that would also apply to the Werewolves and the Kitsune, right?. So I really wouldn't mind if you did end up being my Uncle. Hehe, and Tao close that mouth of yours before saying something that you'll regret later on"

Em looked up at the camera before ending the video, "Until we meet again"

Everyone felt down, they had gotten close with Em even though they had been together for a week at most, and it pained them to hear her say things that weren't true of her.

Tao gasped as he suddenly remembered the last part of the video, "I wouldn't do such a thing, but if I did, will she appear to hunt me down?"

The room went cold as Frankenstein glared daggers at him, and when Tao looked around, the others were doing the same except Raizel of course.

"I take that back"

"Um, Sir should we worry about her?", Regis asked, not wanting to look up as he felt being judged by M-21 and the rest.

"No, we should not." M-21 told 

"She wants to start over, finding the people that she needs to find as trust is being set on the table, between her and us." Frankenstein lastly added before they were all dismissed from the living room.

"I hope that I was able to help you two get off the radar for now, but you two know that Helsing won't be stopping anytime soon, Right?", he was concerned for the lives of the two sisters in front of him but he didn't show it. He was already in pain for not knowing where the only person that he considered family was, and now that these two didn't remember him nor the group that they had created years ago, not even Em, they only knew her by the data info that was given to the two since they were meant to kill her.

"We know, and that is why we are grateful for helping us fake our death. Remember, if you ever need help you know how to contact us-", The older sister was interrupted by the younger one annoying her in the process, 

"We'll be around so don't hesitate, U could also make a call or text or whatever you want!"

He smiled as he shook his head, he would clearly miss the calm composure of the older sister and the crazy energetic energy of the other. 

"I will keep that in mind", he wink at them before turning around and jumping to the other building, 

"I hope you find what you are searching for, Na!", the two said with a nod as they as well left the building they were on.

'I already have found one piece of what I was searching for, and, I am glad that you two are out of their grasp again' , A tear went down staining his cheek in red, 'Em I know well that we had a link to you, think about me at least once' , another tear was threatening to fall but he caught it before falling and so he cleaned the other in the process. He stopped at one of the tallest buildings that was farthest of the city and closer to the small homes and schools. Although he looked up at the sky, dark as he has always known it to be, and only once he had dreamed it to be full of stars-

'Na, why was it difficult to remember about you? Na, are you still as bright as a star in this dark sky? Na, where ... are you? '

The link going up made him jump, he wanted to cry with joy and every emotion that he had still in him, and when he looked down from the dark sky over them he saw a figure sitting in the corner of the next building exactly where the link ended. 'Where are you, Em?' He asked, walking till the edge of the building getting a better look of her reaction, 'Are You still as bright as the star that took me out of Helsing's grasp?'

'If you still know me, then you know that-' , "-I will be bright as a star until the day I stop fighting and I don't have no more air in my lungs", she smiled, as she stood up and jump until she landed next to the boy that she had promise to stay by his side no matter what, it was her duty since that was the role she had given herself by saying that she would be his sister, until the end. 

"I was afraid that you would never remember me", Na told, bumping their foreheads with each other, one hand behind her head as she did the same thing to him. 

She felt her tears roll down her cheeks but she didn't care at all, she only cared for the boy that was in front of her. "How do you think I felt when I saw my memories but there would only be blurry faces in them? Aish!, by the holy fire!, I'm just glad that you are here, safe and sound", Em let him go as she took an up and down look at him.

"I am also glad that I could say the same thing to you, I just hope that you didn't have any problems before I found you", Na commented as he tried to keep up with Em who was now walking around him.

"What are you .... looking at?"

"The long hair didn't really suit you, but that haircut does. Shoulder hair length with layers, and what do we have here two long streaks of hair that overpass the rest of the hair length tugged behind the ear!" Em whined, as she pulled at the said dark red hair.

"Ah, ah. Em don't pull it!", Na cried as soon Em let go of his hair, "sometimes I wonder, why do you act like a kid when you are taller and older than I?"

"And I sometimes wonder, why haven't you grown taller since you act like an old adult and we are around the same age?" Em smirks, waiting for Na's reaction, something that didn't happen.

Na smiled in amusement, "oi, you don't need to be so harsh to just ask for a haircut, and either way I'm still growing I'm just three inches shorter than you...." as Na kept going he was slowly and surely turning the table to his favor.

"Whatever you say Em", Na said with a sigh as he was done with her hair.

"But I love this hairstyle that you gave me so, I'm not mad anymore", Em turned around and gave him a smile, "that's what friends and siblings are for, no?", he asked tilting his head to the side.

She nodded, and soon an idea had formed in her head, one idea that might get them in trouble with a school, a crazy chairman, some security guards, add up with some Nobles, and kids. A great but risky plan with Helsing on their backs, and whatnot.

"Hey Na"

"Yes?"

"Do you have any plans?"

"I ... Do not, why?", Na looked at Em with questioning eyes, but then he was afraid from the eyes that he got in return.

"Em, No"

"Em, yes"

"Em, No", Na repeated his answer towards her, he was afraid that he would say yes to the crazy plan that she had.

"Can you at least hear me out?"

"Say it then", and he gave in.

"Next month the school year begins, and I was thinking that-"

"Lets attend this school that got you interested, Em, but know one thing. If something goes completely south and Helsing figures, we would be leaving and not risking anyone at all."

Em saluted him playfully, "Brother, yes, Brother. To school it is!!"

"How old do you think you are?"

"Just old enough to go to high school, in senior year, so around 17, 18, 19 years old?", Em winked at him as Na let himself fall completely on the couch and released a long list of curses.

"By the third, this will be a fucking Hell. I. Regret. This."

1 Month Later

"Boys we need to go before anyone gets there!!!", Frankenstein said through the earpiece as he took the car out of the garage. "Both of us are ready", M-21 answered as he went inside the car, "Tao can't find his computer", Takeo informed him.

"Tao!!", it only took a scream of Frankenstein and Tao came out running with the computer at hand.

"S-sorry Boss-" 

"Get. In. Now!", Frankenstein ordered as he then looked at the door where his Master was and calmed down, "Master I expect you and you two to come 10 to 15 minutes before time. It will be crowded if you come after"

Raizel nodded, "Then we shall be there in time said"

With that said, Frankenstein closed the door of the car and stepped on the gas, not caring if Tao was in or not.

' Everything and Every single thing will be fine '

Frankenstein's thoughts were completely wrong, as he drove by the front gate and he saw that two students were being surrounded by a group of students from another school, Frankenstein stopped the car as he let out a frustrated sigh.

"Takeo, M-21, please break them up before they start fighting in front of the school! And bring them to my office, Tao you're staying with me". The two went out of the car not wanting to stay any second longer with the mad-man, even though it meant leaving Tao all alone with him. Though before Takeo got out of the car he mouthed good luck at Tao as he then closed the door behind him.

"If you're a cutie, Why are you dressed like a boy?", a tall boy asked as he went closer to the two students while the group around him got closer.

The girl smiled, "Yes I'm a girl, or how did you say it? A cutie but, I also make my own decisions of what to wear. Don't you think ma boy?", the girl wasn't smiling anymore, she was smirking at the boy. The boy huffed the irritation, "What!? Are you also a cutie dressed like a boy!?"

"Is this tall boy blind or is he just an idiot?" said the smirking boy behind the girl,

"No, I think he's both", the girl answered 

The tall boy easily snapped and sent a punch at the two, though the girl blocked the attack with her backpack as for the boy, he hit behind the knees with his backpack sending the tall boy to the floor.

"Know two things next time please", the girl said as she dusted herself off, "Don't ever, ever, hit a lady. You never know what they are capable of doing", she walks off slowly waiting for the boy,

"And two, Never mess with the siblings, take it like an advice for your own good", the boy whispered to the tall boy's ear making him shiver in the process as the boy gave a pat-pat at his head and walked off with the girl.

"I'll tell you something, never give your back to Someone-"

"Though we already did it, I don't see anything happening, right Emily?"

"I thought he was going to attack us back, Nathan", Em answered, eyeing the group that was left behind.

"What are you all waiting for! Get them!!!", the tall boy screamed as the rest did what they were ordered.

"Would you look at that, the boy got angy", Na commented with a chuckle, "Now, now don't make fun of them", Em warned as she jumped up the wall and sat on top watching Nathan do the same. The two of them were about to say something else when they saw two men walking in their direction, stopping the group of kids from climbing over.

"That is enough, you kids go to your school if you don't want us to report to the chairman"

"Can you two get down from there?", Takeo asked looking up at them,

"Sure thing, um who are you exactly?", Na asked even though he already knew who he was.

"We are two of the special security group, I'm Takeo and this is M"

“For a moment there I was going to mistake Mister M with my mom but that’s impossible since she’s dead…” and he went silent as he lost himself in thought. Takeo looked at M-21 and then to the kid, and so M-21 spoke, “ Hey, I I’m sorry that I reminded you of your mother, but can both of you come down of the wall”

 Em nodded and shook Na as they soon jumped off the wall to the other side, "ah here is the key, can one of you open the gate?" Takeo said as he gave the key to Em.

"The chairman wants to talk to both of you"

'Oi, who is the chairman, Em?'

'It is only Frankenstein'

"By the third, he's here already?!"

"We are sorry Mr. Chairman", both of them bowed as M-21 and the other two stood by the door.

"It is Mr. Chairman Lee for you two. Now explain what happened in the front gate", Frankenstein leaned forward getting closer to the two,

'Ooooooh, he's angy'

'It's the first day, something had to go wrong, what did you expect?'

'Something chill, I guess'

"Well you see", Em started 

"This happened,....", Na continued

The explanation took less than 10 minutes when Frankenstein gave out a long exasperated sigh. "Emily, Nathan. From what I heard you two just defended yourselves, but still, I don't like fights in the school perimeter. That is why you two are going to help Takeo and M set up the auditorium", Frankenstein eyed them first as then his eyes flicker towards the two men.

"Yes, Mr. Chairman Lee", Em and Na said in unison.

"I want them ready in less than 30"

As the four left Frankenstein ordered Tao to keep eyes everywhere as he didn't want any more problems at all, since there was no time to solve them at all.

Gem just pinched her nose bridge, she knew well that it would take them ten minutes to get there and that was if there weren't any crowds in their way or at the entrance. "Done", Eth said as she wiped her hand clean, "now try to keep up with me, we are not going to stop until we get there!!!", she said as she grabbed Gem's hand and ran all the way to school.

Though there were surely trippings here and there, also pushing people to the sides so they were able to pass through, but as they ran close to the gate they watched a group of three students two with silver and one with the darkest black hair, all though that made them feel that they were in slow motion with their blood red eyes. For Eth she even lost her breath for a second, but she regained it back as they went inside the school still holding Gem's hand.

"It seems that we aren't the only ones who thought it was better to be here early-", and Eth was abruptly cut off as she crash with someone as they went to the auditorium but before she could fall, she let go of Gem's hand as she didn't want to bring her down, two were enough.

' First I see blood red eyes, as it wasn't enough with what I had to go through. And now I'm on the floor, on top of some chairs, that are on top of some kid. Great, just great!'

"By the-, can't you just watch where you're going!!!", the boy suddenly pushed her off him, now the chairs were on top of her.

"Now, this wouldn't have happened if you hadn't stopped there to take a break!!", Eth screamed as she pushed the chairs off her, she wasn't going to let him win at all.

"I was not taking a break at all!!", and then the boy went silent as a smirk appeared on his face, " but it seems that you haven't heard about the rule that says, ' No running in the school hallways', hm?"

Gem just watched how Eth went back and forth with the boy that she didn't pay attention to the girl that was next to her. "Ah, you two also hate the crowds?", the girl next to her asked, and she nodded,

" we came running because we thought we were going to be late, since she was feeding some stray cats. And, what about you?", Gem now had taken an interest in the girl rather than the arguing that was still going on.

"We were here a bit too early so everything was close, then my brother and I got in trouble since we just defended ourselves from a group of kids, not from this school at all. So we are just preparing this place-", Em wasn't able to finish when she heard someone coming closer as the person announced themselves. 

" You two stop fighting!", the voice boomed, making the four jump and stand up straight in a line as if the fight never happened. "Go take a seat, the rest of the students are coming in already"

"Yes, Mr. Chairman Lee", both Na and Em moved with the chairs at hand already as they responded to the blond man's orders. "I do not want to see or hear any of you four fighting", with that said Frankenstein left them as he headed towards Takeo and M-21.

Gem poked Eth's rib cage earning a gasp in response, "What was that for?!"

"I just wanted to get your attention", Gem said as she walked away to take a seat in the last row, "this is just the first day, and you already got into a fight. What would it be like for our last year here, hm?" Eth soon followed her and took a seat next to her, watching Gem cross her legs and prop her elbows forward leaning her head in her hands, looking at her.

'This blond always makes me fall for her. And her eyes, always trying to drown me down in the turquoise waters, Why?!'

Eth tried her best to ignore her by looking straight ahead " Between the two of us, yes it was my fault but for the rest, it was his”, she crossed her arms as she saw the boy and the girl sitting at the same row just at the left side of Gem. 

"Is she still mad?" Em asked as she looked over to see the said girl who was fighting with Na, "Not that much as she was before but still, it seems that the red headed people are also hot headed. Sorry but we didn't get each other's names right? ", the girl asked as she looked at her now.

"No we didn't, but I think you are right about the red headed people. My name is Emily, and this is my brother Nathan", she had to point at Na as he wasn't looking at them rather around the auditorium for some reason.

"Emily, nice to meet you, my name is Gem just like the stone. This here is Eth, though it's just a nickname", Gem introduced herself as she also introduced Eth, who for some reason was staring intensely at her.

"Wh-", Em was about to ask why when Eth decided to interrupt her, "before you ask I'll just tell you, my crazy adoptive family thought it was better to call me Ethan than my real name. With all the mess that soon happened, I forgot my name so I just went by Eth. Done, no more explanations", with that Eth just sat back and looked at the front, ignoring everyone around her.

'This girl has some attitude problems or, is this just a lie?' Em thought though that just left Gem and Em to talk to each other as sometimes Na would also join them in some small talks.

Everyone went silent as the Chairman of the school spoke, wondering what was there to come for the new school year, "Welcome Students and Teachers to this new school year ...", and that was how Frankenstein's speech began, everyone looked at him, admiring him. He also did the same thing, looking at all the students and teachers, but he wasn't, he looked at the two who stood by the door, he thought about the one who was by the gate, the nobles and lastly, his Master. 

He was a selfish being, hell he knew himself so well that he could even admit it to anyone, but he wished that the days to come would be like the ones like before, those days that they had a break from fighting the Nobles, Werewolves or the Union, like the ones that were felt as they were a true family. Not like the one he has witnessed until now, he knew he was the one to blame but he had hopes that things would get better.

Frankenstein kept on talking even though his speech was coming to an end, "lastly, starting this year, boys and girls are not obligated to wear the uniforms that correspond to one another. Meaning that boys and girls could wear any type of uniform that they want", he watched around as some students cheered at what he said, he knew that the times were changing so, why not change with them? "With that said, each teacher will come up and call each and every single one of you. Good luck to all of you this school year. And welcome to Ye Ran High School", with cheers and applause the students stood up as the Chairman went down the stage and left for his office. Though Frankenstein savored it, he had missed this for so long and to think that he had to leave in three years due to time.

"All right, everyone", the teacher called as she looked at every single student in her room, her bright blue eyes shined with the light that reflected from her glasses, as the light also hit the silver cross that dangled from her sky blue hair. Instantly the whole class went silent and half of it awed the teacher. "My name is Miss. Noa, I'll be your homeroom teacher and biology teacher. I might be an expert in biology but I also know a thing or two in anything, so just ask if help is needed, yes?", everyone nodded.

"I'll be marking attendance after we introduce each other in a group activity"

"Miss. Noa, about the group activity, who are the said groups that we will be at?"

" Good question, the groups that you're going to be with will be the ones in your rows. With that, we'll be taking this activity outside so we could move around a bit", Noa smiled but there were two students who weren't, and were currently staring at each other. (A/N, the said group that was formed, Raizel, Seira, Regis, Gem, Em, Na, Eth. 🙂😁)

"I will not be working with him!", Eth said as they walked out to the field,

"Do whatever you want", Na answered as he pass her but turn around and started to walk backwards looking at her, "But you'll be punish for not following simple orders", he smirk as he then went with Em, not caring what Eth was screaming at the distance dismissing it with a wave of a hand.

"You're having your fun aren't you?", Em asked side eyeing him with a smile at her face, "what can I say?, this whole place is interesting, with it the students, but, mostly her....", Na stop when they finally arrived to the group they were assign with.

"Now first thing first, you all will say your name, the next round talk one fact about yourselves, third interact with each other!", Noa cheerfully announced as she walked around.

"Okay then, who wants to start?'' Gem asked, looking around, seeing that no one wanted to go first she let out a long quiet sigh.

"My name is Gem F. one fact about me is that I don't know who my father is but my aunt says that I look like him, meaning that one day I'll be like him", she tried to sound happy about it but, it stung her heart more than she thought it would. Though she remembers the reason she was there, to search for her father and help her aunt out. 

Her eyes widened when she felt a pat on her shoulder, and when she looked around she found Nathan by her side, "If you ever meet your father I think, he would be proud of you no matter what", she smiled at him as she gave a nod.

'Maybe he isn't as bad I thought he would be'

Na went next as he saw the silence stretch for far too long around them, "My name is Nathan Del Fuego, one fact would be that my father is dead as well as my brother since they gave their service to our home country, and I'm currently escaping my adoptive family with my sister", Na knew that he was making everything up but it was also true, his family was dead and the adoptive family that he was escaping from was Helsing and anybody who wanted him. He knew that one day he would grow tired from escaping and that day they'll get him.

He let his head fall as his hair covered his face, he felt someone hugging him from the back, he would hate it but he let her. "I'm sorry", Gem told, "I...I didn't know, and I'm sorry for my actions from earlier", Eth apologies looking at him. 

He chuckled and shook his head, "don't worry about it, it was fun in a way. About my family, that was when I was young---, oi what was that for?", he asked when he felt his head being hit in the back just when Gem let him go and step back.

"Don't make your story more tragic, it's enough as it is, Nathan", Em looked at him with sadden eyes though playful as well.

"Good, my name is Emily Del Fuego, one fact is that Nathan here is my adoptive brother"

"What happened to your parents?" Seira asked, tilting her head in the process, 

“Don’t know and Don’t remember, but his father adopted me after I found Nathan having some problems…” and Em went silent so she wouldn’t tell too much that she could feel Nathan staring at her. 

"All right, I'll go next. My name is Eth, one fact about me is that I used to get bullied in middle school due to the different eye color of my two eyes, and still going but I learned how to live with it", she breathed in due to the lack of oxygen she didn't know that she needed. Covering her left eye even more with her dark red hair as she felt them watching.

"We live in peace when we accept who we are or what we are. Sometimes we or the people make a mistake or two to figure it out, so don't feel bad about it.", Na offered a smile to Eth which she accepted, clearly forgetting the fight of the morning by now.

"I do agree with Nathan, Eth, one learns from what we go through. My name is Seira J. Loyard, one fact about me would be ..... that I like to help the ones in need no matter what", Seira wasn't sure what to say without giving too much away, she didn't want them to be as affected as her past friends were. The world knew that they existed but the Nobles hadn't made an official appearance. And after the Noble Lord, the Noblesse and the Lord of the Werewolves had stopped the nuclear bombs every human had forgotten that they existed, that they were even around the people who protected them from the danger that was constantly happening around them.   

"That is how everyone should be, willing to help anybody in a good deed not expecting something back, right Seira?", Em clarified, as she then saw a small blush on Seira's cheeks though dismissed with a nod from her.

"Enough with the chit chat. My name is Regis K. Landegre, one fact about me would be that I like when everything is clean and elegant"

"When everything is clean you could expect that there would be good results in your work ahead, right Regis", Gem added, fixing her glasses, "but where does the elegant part fit in?", Regis just looked at the side not knowing what to say to her.

And then the last person spoke, "My name is Cadis Etrama Di Raizel but you all could call me Raizel or Rai, one fact about me is I am always open to having some friends", that was when he smiled, making the four of them a blushing mess.

'Why, am I going to fall for the boys now?', Gem

"We will be your friends Rai!", Na was the first one who snapped back to reality as he agreed with Raizel on becoming friends.

"Anything for someone who wants to have friends on the first day of class", Gem added

"A friend of my brother is a friend of mine so I don't really mind", Em said as she balanced her phone in her hand.

"Why wouldn't we be friends Rai?", Eth crossed her arms looking at everyone and then to no one.

That was how they all spent their time together, class after class, though not in P.E class where the three had to go to the office leaving the four alone for the time being. They did meet the teacher of that class who had long dark blue hair and looked like their homeroom teacher Miss. Noa, just like sisters the four of them had thought but calmer. The name of the teacher was Miss. Ena, who made that class fun till the end. Only one of the four knew why the two looked like sisters but didn't know that they would see each other in this school.

"Master, how is your day going?", Frankenstein asked as he served tea to Raizel, who was silently sitting there in deep thought.

"Until now, everything seems to be, okay. I have made some new Friends during class Frankenstein, and they're quite unique."

"Do I know them?"

"I do not think so", Raizel said before drinking his tea.

"They aren't as loud as shinwoo and his group, but they do fight", Seira explains as she stirs her tea.

"And when they fight they go down deep, and also verbally."  Regis added on as he thought more about them.

"Now I'm curious about them, what do they look like?"Frankenstein asked, sitting in front of his Master. He wanted to know who would be the added kids to trash their clean home.

"One has short blond hair, with turquoise eyes and wears glasses, has fair skin color, her name was Gem. The other has Seira's hair length but the color is deep red, almost black, has one orange eye but she claims to have the other eye of a different color, skin color almost like honey, her name Eth.", Regis explained the two as Seira now explained the other two. 

"The boy has shoulder hair length with two long streaks of hair that over passes the rest of the hair length and also some bangs, hair color dark red but not as Eth's, has bright orange eyes, skin color seems to be tan but lighter, his name is Nathan. The girl has shoulder hair length though it was braided in two braids, hair color bright red that looked like orange with the sunlight, has bright green eyes, skin of light cinnamon, and her name is Emily. Though she did give me a familiar feeling for some reason"

"Well we could tell Tao to search them deeper. Now two of them I do know, Emily and Nathan, they were caught in a fight this morning, and before the meeting of the morning I think that the person who was arguing with Nathan was the girl Eth, as for Gem I think I saw her talking with Emily when I went to break the argument.", Frankenstein verified as he took his glasses off and rubbed his eyelids from the tiredness he felt.

"The four of them are like chaos walking, but it is good to hear that you three have made more friends right at the start of the school year", Frankenstein told as he put his glasses back on and stood up watching the clock run, "And I do believe that it is time for you three to go to your last class"

"Yes we should leave", Regis was the first to walk out

"I will see you later for dinner Chairman", Seira followed Regis out of the door

"The four of them are like chaos walking, but it is good to hear that you three have made more friends right at the start of the school year", Frankenstein told as he put his glasses back on and stood up watching the clock run, " And I do believe that it is time for you three to go to your last class"

"Yes we should leave", Regis was the first to walk out

"I will see you later for dinner Chairman", Seira followed Regis out of the door

"Frankenstein, don't overwork yourself"

End of class

"For being the first day, it didn't go as bad as we thought, right?", Eth asked as she walked up front of the group and out of the school building, "It could have gone better if you, Ivan and Amara and Nathan and Shinwoo, weren't competing against each other during PE class", Gem argued about the match that took place during PE. 

During PE

It all had started like a friendly talk with Eth, Nathan, and the twin siblings Ivan and Amara who Shinwoo introduced since he was in another class than them when suddenly everyone had started to cheer over something that Gem and Em thought was a fight going on. Again. All though it wasn't anything like that, instead the four of them were at the starting line of the track.

"Is it clear that if one of the five doesn't do the five laps around the track, and the twenty push-ups at the end of the said fifteen minutes will be receiving an F for today and will be treating the class for some lunch at the end of the week. Is that understood?"

"Yes Miss. Ena", Nathan replied as he then looked at Em's direction and smiled as he soon looked back to the track

The five of them took off running at full speed, or what is considered full speed for humans at their age. "No surprise there", Gem stated by her side as they watched everything unfold, 

"Why do you say that?", Em now wondered what she meant.

“Well the third red-headed, his name is Shinwoo, he is known to be good at sports but have the worst grades possible but still be passing somehow that he has now somehow made it to senior year but who knows how it would end for him. The other boy, his name is Ivan and he is the twin brother of Amara, the girl next to him. The two are known to do fair with school but when it’s about competitions they are the best, I know them since I have memory my aunt has been taking care of them but now they are trying to be more independent”

“Ah, I see but in this case it seems that the twins are going to stay behind the three red-headed”     

Back to the present

"Gem, it was alright", Ivan chimed in as he grabbed Gem’s shoulder as Amara did the same on the other side, "We had fun, something that we haven't felt for a long time now, you know that", Amara said in a low voice hiding her sadness.

Eth let go of a sigh as she looks at the two siblings, "You know what, lets go to the store and from there we can go to the park"

"Rai, Seira, Regis, do you three want to come with us too?" Em asked looking back at the three. Seira nodded as she walked up to her,

"I accept", Raizel said as he followed the group.

"I will go just because it would be rude to leave you all alone", Regis complained.

“Hey do not forget about us!” Shinwoo shouted as he ran out of the school with Yuna and Ikhan on his back.

“Rai it seems that you have made a large group of friends now that this is our last year” Ikhan fixed his glasses as he looked at everyone, “you know what they say the bigger the better, right Rai?” Yuna added.

“That is right” that was all he said.

“Hi my name is Nathan” Na showed himself as he was behind Em’s back,

“Oh I haven’t presented them right,”Shinwoo scratch his head, “This is Yuna and this nerd is Ikhan”

"Where are you all going?", M-21 appeared behind the group as they walked out of the gate.

"We were just heading to the store and then to the park. um, sir, mister, M ..... can you tell me your name again?" Na had stayed behind with Em to explain where they were going but when he faked that he didn't know what to call him, that made Em shake her head for far too many reasons.

"M. Just call me Mister", M-21 said as he looked at the group who were waiting for the two at the corner.

"Oh okay, Bye Mister", Na ran off leaving Em behind and what did she do? Em smiled brightly at him and waved as she ran right behind Na, as she then added a last comment.

The kids were the last ones to leave the school so he had to close the front gate. He wasn't tired even though it had been a long day, but a certain someone made him feel so. "Muzaka what are you doing here?" M-21 had to ask since the said man was difficult to know. Muzaka had told them that he would have returned in two or three months due to his lord duties but no, he was there one month later. M-21 turned to look at Muzaka since wasn't receiving any answers or questions from the man.

"What should we get?", Ivan asked as he looked around the store, "but first thing first, you all have money, right?", Eth stopped everyone on their tracks as they looked at her.

"But if you want, you could pay for all of us?", Nathan smirked at Eth

"You want me to pay for all of you!! Please Shinwoo tell me that you have money?" 

“I have some but I could only cover like a forth of us-” 

"I could always give a freaking discount! So stop worrying about the payment"

Gem turned her head too fast that got her dizzy, "You really work here? I thought it was all a joke"

"We got tired of staying home so we got a job without your aunt knowing, so don't tell her Gem!" Ivan answered at the other side of the shelf.

"Okay I won't, but when she figures we three will be in big trouble"

"Okay, Okay. Enough with the worries and the problems", Na told as he jumped to grab the chips that were on top of the shelf, 

"Then with that figured, Rai what do you want to get?" Yuna asked as she grabbed an orange juice. Everyone looked at Raizel since he was the only one who still didn't have anything yet, even Regis and Seira had gotten something in the end.

"Ramen?" everyone asked as they turned to look at him sans Seira and Regis, Shinwoo, Yuna, and Ikhan who had a feeling that he was going to say that.

"We could get some Ramen, and make a challenge out of it?"Amara asked as she leaned on her brother's shoulder,

"Any disagreements?" Em looked around as no one said anything "Then it is, there will be four groups of two and one of three, and Rai will be receiving the best bowl of Ramen there is between the four"

"Wait, wait,  where are we going to cook? My home is an option-"

"Don't worry Gem. Rai was the one who suggested, so why not cook at his place?", Eth raised an eyebrow at the said person

He would ignore every single piece of trash that there was in order to not harm the kids.

The man turned around to look at Amara standing right next to him, "could I call you that as we are out of school, right?"

She didn't look at him, instead she watched Gem order around her brother and the rest to clean everything up, as she as well hated the mess that they had done and even more when it was somebody else's house.

"Yes Amara, you can"

"Well, Mr. Lee we did not mean to make a mess, and as you see we already have cleaned the kitchen and now it seems that the living room as well"

"I am thankful for the said action, but why are these ingredients out?" Frankenstein asked as he motioned back to the kitchen, while Amara just hummed in response.

"Ah, sir you see, we left those ingredients out just for you!", Ivan chirped into the conversation as he escaped Gem's wrath,

"Why?"

"Well you see, we knew that you would come home late so we didn't prepare any food for you since the Ramen would get all messed up. Although we did leave the ingredients out for you to cook the dish and try it since we kind of did a competition of who cooked the best, and in the end it was Gem's group and Seira's group dish who won. So we just left the recipe there if you want to try?", Frankenstein looked surprised as all the explanations that the boy gave answered almost all of his questions, almost.

"I understand, thank you for the thought. But, if this was a competition, who ended up trying every dish?"

The two look at each other as they slowly pale, and walk away, very slowly.

"We did!!", Tao screamed from the living room, ignoring the wack he got with a pillow that Na had thrown with a warning of hushing him.

"We?'' Frankenstein wanted answers, and he wanted them in the moment. As on instinct the nine kids went to hide behind Raizel's chair, eyeing Frankenstein at what his reaction would be.

"I mean M, Takeo, Muzaka, Rai and me-, I just mean that Rai only got the winning dish", Tao started to stutter as the situation finally went to his head and shook his hands, trying to dismiss what he said.

"We'll be taking our leave then", Na rushed to his bag and out to the door, though he formally said goodbyes to everyone,"We're gonna be late for work if we don't go, so we'll see each other tomorrow. Bye y'all, Mr. Chairman Lee, Mister M, Takeo, Tao, Grandfather!", and Em shut the door close behind her.

"Emily isn't so wrong it is getting late, Ivan, Amara we're going home. Pray that my aunt isn't home yet", Gem smiled as she stood right behind the twins.

"Gem is not wrong Mr. Lee", Ivan shivered as Gem kept staring at him

"Ah if that's the case, Tao accompany them to their way home-"

"Mr. Lee that won't be necessary, Gem's house is right in front of yours", Amara told as she was already at the door waiting for the others.

"If you insist we could keep an eye on you three until crossing"

Ivan nodded when he waved goodbye  to everyone, "ah my ride is here, until tomorrow", Eth practically rushed out of the door between Gem and Ivan.

“We should be taking our leave then before it gets darker than what already is” Yuna said as she grabbed her bag and walked towards the door as Shinwoo and Ikhan followed her.

“I should accompany the three of you home then” Tao mentioned as he jumped over the sofa and left with them.   

In Frankenstein's opinion, these kids had more energy or maybe he was starting to get old, um older. He then let his body rest on the armchair next to his Master as a question went out of his lips, "What exactly happened while I was at the meeting?" His eyes darted to everyone, to the two modified humans in the kitchen, to Muzaka who was all sat down on the couch, and to the nobles who stayed painfully silent.

"I'll pay the one who answers the question" And his phone began to ring and so he answered, 

"How much Boss?" Tao

The cold wind of the afternoon had never felt so good on their body as the two ran and jumped from building to building, watching the sun setting as time went by.

"So, did it go as you expected?" Na asked as he sat and swung his legs at the edge of the building looking up at her as the last rays of light bathed her body whole, her fox ears twitching every so often, as for the tail it only moved where the wind went.

"For some reason I just think that it could have gone better, but it was good for the first day of school- Why do you keep looking at me nonstop?" Em raised an eyebrow as she looked down at him.

"Well I still can't believe that your body got rid of the poison so fast"

"That's my body for ya" Em said as she sat down next to him, "but I just hope that we don't run into anybody who could harm us"

Na leaned on her shoulder as the sun left them with the moonlight in its stead, "sometimes our hopes don't go as we want them to, and harm is bound to happen anytime soon"

A half mask covered the upper part of her face, as for the hood gave her shelter of the cold and loneliness that she knew it was to come.

"So, how is it going?" Na asked from behind Gem who was walking all silent, not even looking up where she was going, of course she already knew the way to school by memory so she didn't need to see where she was heading.

"Not so good, the first week my aunt was coming home late, the second week she went on a trip but still answered her phone, but now she doesn't! And Eth has been doing the same thing since she left a week ago!"

"Gem you're making yourself sound lonely" Ivan told as he bumped her shoulder, and Amara did the same, "true, you still have us don't you?"

Em and Na watched the three interact with each other as they stayed two or three steps behind them.

'It has been like what, a week and we can't still pinpoint where the Z-bots are coming from, and I'm so tired that I don't know how long I'll be able to stay up before I collapse'

'At Least we now know that the Z-bots were created to tire their opponent as they will keep  showing up, and kill you when your guard is down'

'But Na, isn't it strange that it has been a week since Eth left and that the Z-bots started to appear around this area, a month that we've been defending this city from them, from Helsing'

'Yes it is strange Em, we even have a spider web with all the clues that lead up to her and somehow connect to the disappearance of Miss. Noa and Miss. Ena'

'I just hope that everything ends today or tomorrow without the RK getting involved on our problems'

"Maybe they ran out of teachers to teach us?" Na asked as he joined the group with Rai, Regis and Seira.

"How was detention?" Regis asked eyeing them, 

"Regis, you just missed all the fun that we had in there", Em responded as soon Gem added on, "we were even able to finish our punishment and Homework"

"Good to hear that, but why?" Seira asked as Yuna watched everyone come out of the room happy and rather talkative. 

"We already knew what would happen if we did it the right way, so we thought about what would happen if we did it the wrong way? What would the outcomes be?" Gem answered though still demonstrating that she was still wondering about the results.

"Where are you all heading today?" Tao asked as all of them passed by the gate, "Ah, today we won't be together, Em and I have an appointment with our home cleaning”.

"As for us we'll be working at the store since that time of year where everything gets too hot", Amara told, but Gem sighed, "all alone I'll be as my children are all grown up" she fakely cleaned a tear away.

"Oh Ma, don't cry!" Ivan dramatically went on his knees looking up at Gem, "we'll be back no later than 8:00 pm, Mother!" Amara hugged her waist.

"No later, okay my children"

“Well unfortunately for us we have a lot of homework that has to be done if it weren’t for the two of you!” Yuna shouted in full frustration as she yanked Shinwoo’s and Ikahn’s arms and off they went.

M-21 soon stopped at a dead end street far away from all the cameras that Tao could easily watch, away from the school, only the two of them. "Mister M, why are we here?" Em asked not getting too close to him

"I'm searching for answers, so answer my questions clearly. Who are you?" There M-21 stood straight with arms crossed, waiting for her response from her to come out of her lips though she took a step back as she acted out she was confused.

"Mister M, what question is that? You already know Who I am" M-21 took a step closer to her

"Then Em-ily Del Fuego" ah but good ol' M-21 knew what he was doing, earning Em to flinch when he stopped in the middle of the Em and ily. She had to admit it, it hurt her so much that she had to lie to him, to see him every day, that had been for three weeks already.

She had moved way too fast for M-21 to register her movement that he was shocked. Em transformed into her original form and kissed him on his lips, but he was soon pushed back. "I Fucking hate you! You do know that right?" Em shouted at him as she kept pushing him back until he hit the wall. "Why did you finally ask who I am after three freaking long weeks of seeing each other at school and at Rai's home? Why now that I'm about to finish a mission of one full month-" and she goes silent, dropping her head low as her ears go down.

"What mission Yokai?" M-21 tilted his head just enough so he could see Em's green eyes

"A simple mission that Na and I don't want anyone else on!"

"Why?"

"'Cause we don't want to see anyone get hurt because of us and our problems, M-21. Though if you are still curious, here is the info that you want to know of our own mission M-21" she gave him yet another USB, just like the one that held Helsing's information.

"Yokai wait-" but when M-21 looked up she wasn't there anymore.

Meanwhile a drone was able to hide from Em and M-21 as for the viewer, Tao was at the other side of the screen he was eating popcorn as though he was watching a movie or something.

M-21 asked as he stood behind Tao who was sitting down on the couch trying hard not to think about what he saw earlier, "Wait 21, let me pull it on the big screen so everyone could see" Tao waved him off earning a huff from him.

"So?" this time Takeo asked as he sat next to Tao but Tao stood up to explain everything though he was already somewhat pale.

"Tao, what is it?" Frankenstein came out of the kitchen with tea at hand for his master

"Boss, well as we see it, it seems that Em and this other person Na have been doing on a search of their own"

"What kind of search exactly?" Regis leaned forward grabbing a cookie from the plate that was separated from Rai's own 

"The kind of search that you find things such as these creepy bots-" Tao couldn't finish from freaking out since he was soon silenced from a simple look from Frankenstein

" Here I thought I wouldn't see them again" M-21 said as then everyone turned to look at him with questioning eyes

"What do you mean by that M-21?" Takeo sounded concerned 

"You've seen them?" as Tao was shocked

"It was a long time ago, when we were still experiments. Scientists wouldn't stop talking about this new creation, robots that were meant to wear the enemy out and kill them at the moment that they least expect it"

"But now that I think of it, we did not have a fight with those type of robots only the one that Ignes had" Regis told as Seira nodded in agreement

"I searched them up on the old Union files, and it says that they were soon discarded due to a malfunction but it doesn't explain what caused it!", 'Wait when did this happen?' Tao asked himself as he kept scrolling the pages, clearly not showing the information on the big screen

"What!!!?" but he shouted when he found an answer he was looking for

"What did you find Tao?" Tao sighed and shook his head at Frankenstein but kept looking at Rai, "I didn't find what I was searching for, Boss. Um M-21 do you know when this happened so I could search more about it?"

"I searched every list that Helsing had and I found a new one-" Tao was soon interrupted by Frankenstein who came out of who knows where, scaring Tao at the same time.

The father side was showing, ' Takeo and M-21 are out, Em with this Na person who were at god knows where'

"It's an immediate kill list of 7 people in total"

Tao gulp, as the chances of him being killed were high at the moment, "We had two of them at our school, the teachers Ena and noa but their original names are Thena and Talanoa. Em, Gem, Na with M-21 and lastly Muzaka!" Tao had shouted the last part due to the fact that Frankenstein took off, leaving him alone at the lab. 'Why won't the problems not leave us alone?' Tao thought as he went back up to the living room and sighed. Right about to call Takeo the lights went off as well as the phones. 'EMP's, I hate them!'

"Regis, Seira, you two go search for Ivan, Amara and Gem, and Shinwoo and his group bring them here when you have found them."

"Tao what's happening?" Regis asked all alert

"Helsing, so the RK is back on"

"Um, Em have you noticed that each time the Z-bots appear earlier than the day before?"

The two rushed from building to building, attracting every single Z-bot that was out there, "You think I haven't noticed!" She screamed with anger but the anger wasn't directed at him but at the robots that have made her have a week full of headaches.

"Em we have them cornered"

"Isolation!" A box of fire appeared, burning every robot that the two had gathered in the corner of an abandoned building near the coast.

"The first wave is over, and, what was that?" Na asked as he sat down on the rooftop taking some deep breaths as the tiredness was finally catching up with him,

"That was just a new trick that I've been practicing but, isolation was meant to prevent further destruction not to cause more" Em stood behind him watching the coast but a certain building got her attention since it was at the very heart of the island and all lights were on, while it was known that whole South Korea were lights out, but she soon dismissed it.

"Let's go back, I've been having this nagging feeling that this was just a trick"

"To get us, or someone else?"

"Both, and I think we have found where they're hiding and coming from"

"I agree, we should go now"

"No, no, no, no, what now?!" Gem shouted as she ran to the store that Ivan and Amara were supposed to be at, but when she got there the only thing that she saw was destruction. Broken doors, glass scattered everywhere on the floor, bodies here and there as well for the blood splatter everywhere. The bodies were counted and two workers were the only ones missing.

"Why are you two here?" she asked the two nobles that she knew were right behind her without looking back

"We saw you running here so we followed you" Seira answered her as she watched the full destruction of the store right in front of them but her eyes followed Gem as she walked away.

"You two should leave, and go home. This war is something that you can't win nor fight"

"We are not leaving nor going home, Gem" Regis ran up to her but stopped when he couldn't see her any more

The two heard Gem laugh but her own voice was mixed with another voice, with another soul, "Ahaha, you won't leave or go home, you want to help but you don't know where? I'll give you a clue, ask Tao if he knows what to do"  

A gust of wind blew in their direction, and the aura was well too familiar but they never thought that she would be related to him in any way possible.

"Did you two find them?" Tao asked as he appeared in the living room where Regis and Seira had just entered, "Tao! Ivan and Amara have been taken, and Shinwoo and his group are nowhere to be found! What were we supposed to do?"

"Regis calm down-"

"Tao don't tell me to calm down! For the first time I feel so clueless about what is happening around us! And the way that we have been acting with each other isn't working at all. In my opinion I think that M-21 had the right to act the way that he acted because this isn't the family that we once had!"

"Tao" Seira called as she patted Regis shoulder, "I agree with him, there isn't any trust with each other as it was before"

'I should have told them, then nothing of this would be happening at all'. Tao rubbed his face sighing deeply, "I'll explain everything, but first I need you two to go to the center of the city"

"Because Frankenstein, M-21 and Takeo are fighting at this very moment and they need support and communications. Soon!"

"So it has decided to start raining now?" 

"Maybe that's just our luck Na, it even got windy" Em commented as she closed her jacket off, " and our luck might have gotten worse"

"Why-?" Na couldn’t say more as he was pushed back by the explosion on one of the rooftops at the heart of the city. "This could be covered as a terrorist attack, of an unknown group..." Na started to ramble on thoughts of what to make up for the people to believe in. Em just stood there watching as there was more chaos than it already was,

' Was it really a bad idea to give them that info?' she thought to herself. 

Gem just stood there watching the mess that was made and also the two shocked people in front of her, though she had enough of the two that she decided to snap them back to reality.

"Nathan!" she shouted though her voice was still intertwined with the other voice soul

"Aaaaaah!, By the third do not scare my living soul! Gem!" Na shouted and he then released a long list of curses.

"G-Gem what are you doing here?" Em asked as she shivered because the voice sounded just like the two people she rather not think of.

"I was searching for you two! What else would I be doing at this time and place ?!"

"Wait, What happened? Why are you like that?" Na asked trying to calm Gem down but failed to

"The only thing that happened was that Ivan and Amara were taken as well as their friends! And then these people are causing more damage to the city. So now what we need to do at this very moment is to stop that chaos!", Gem pointed out where more Z-bots were heading where the group was.

"Frankenstein! Seira and Regis are here" Takeo warned Frankenstein as he was playing with Dark Spear very dangerously around them,

"Alright, go help M-21 and don't leave him alone, Takeo!"

"Sorry that we were late" Seira announced their arrival 

"What happened? What are these?" Regis asked but his last question was unanswered

"Don't worry Regis, the good thing is that you are here now"

"You didn't miss anything, Kid" M-21 smirk at the sight of Regis and Seira    

"I've told you that I'm no kid anymore, M-21. I've had the coming of age ceremony and I'm also a clan leader!"

"Stop talking!" Takeo shouted as he shot the Z-bots down, "if it weren't enough with the robots you two start talking, no, arguing!"  

"M-21 was the one who started with it!"

"But you were the one who had the choice to continue or not. And you did"

Takeo groan at the childish response that he was getting from the two.

"The two act like children, don't they? Even though one looks like an adult and the other has the age of one". Takeo heard someone talking behind him and quickly pointed his gun at the person that was supposedly behind him but no one was there. Takeo soon turned around to see someone right in front of him with a Z-bots head at hand.

"Nathan!"

"You do not need to shout my name, Sir Takeo" Na answered as he threw the Z-bots head to the three that were heading their way

"And I just go by Na"

"Then that means that M-21 was right?" Takeo kept shooting the Z-bots around them.

"Yes, pretty much. Now sir, get everyone together at the center-"

"What? Why?" Takeo turn around searching for him but Na was nowhere in sight

"Takeo, what is the meaning of this?" Frankenstein asked angrily, itching to swing Dark Spear like the mad-man he was.

"I Do Not Know!" That was the first time ever that Takeo had shouted towards the people that he had cared for. Everyone stayed silent hoping whatever was going to happen would happen or all of them would be in big trouble.

"Now?" Gem asked

"No"

"Em, Now?" This time it was Na who asked

Em watched as the last Z-bot had stepped onto the attack range, sending four walls of fire up, closing them with the RK inside.

"Now you two!!!!"

"On it, Gem get the heads as I get the legs!"

The Rk could only see how the robots' heads were falling on the rooftop as well as the rest of the metallic bodies, the five of them just stayed still watching the ones that could be their attackers or allies do all the work for them.

"Time to go" all of them heard a voice boom, "For all of us"

"What?" M-21 was just able to ask that before feeling as if he was falling through the rooftop. A ring of fire had just opened beneath them swallowing everyone in.

"Where are we falling?"

"It's too dark in here!"

"Please calm down"

"My hair! Who pulled it?"

"Shut the hell up! All of you!"

"Gem where 's Em?"

"She stayed behind - wait she's in! Close the ring!"

"Na! Close the ring! They're going to get in!"

A five seconds fall really felt like a fifteen minute fall for the whole RK group, that is until they fell on a hard floor.

"Aish, finally home!" Em shouted as she stretched every limb as she layed on the couch.

"Yokai where, where are we?" M-21 asked as he leaned against the wall as well as he caught his breath though he was not the only one.

"We all are currently at our home that we are currently staying at, that is right behind yours" Em yawned as she then closed her eyes and pretended to fall asleep.

"What is she saying?" Regis wondered about the response that Em had given to M-21.

"Nathan, can you explain better?" Frankenstein pinch his nose-bridge a tick mark making itself noticeable.

"Frankenstein, Na and this home belongs to Gem's aunt, and it IS right behind yours" Na answered as he leaned against the wall.

"Then answer me this Na, Who are you? And who is your aunt Gem?" Ah, poor Frankenstein he wanted answers and he hated not having them, and unfortunately he wasn't getting them.

"We can not answer that Frankenstein"

"And why not?"

"Because your Master is waiting for you"

"What?"

'Frankenstein, why are you at our neighbor's home?'

'I will explain when I get back, Master'

"Na what about Ivan and Amara?!" Takeo asked as he walked up to Na, looking down at him, good thing that he didn’t know that the other three were also missing, "Are we just going to give up on them? leave them with whomever they are with?" In the end he was shouting at him, taking his frustration out on him.

"No Takeo, I am not giving up on them nor Thena and Talanoa, not even Shinwoo and the others but we cannot work better when we are tired and wounded, Do we?" But Na didn't quiver at Takeo's sight.

"I agree with Na" Everyone turned around as they heard the man talk for a second time since they had arrived there, M-21. "And every single one of us knows that he is right, so there is no point in fighting about it"

Takeo stepped back at M-21's words, "What?"

"Thank you for understanding, Mister M" Na said lastly as everyone walked out, leaving M-21 and Frankenstein behind.

"Don't mention it, kid"

"Na, you better explain this Tomorrow" Frankenstein threatened as he was the last one to walk out. 

"I will, I will, Sir Frankenstein"

"What happened? Why did Rai say that you all were at our neighbors house?" Tao had started to ask as he had opened the door letting them into the living room, though M-21 just walked past him not saying anything at all, and straight to his room he went locking himself up.

Tao just gulped as he then noticed the intense aura that was being thrown at the air.

"Oh God, what happened?"

"Many things happened, Tao" Oh Miss Seira, she was the only one who understood well why M-21 had done what he did, and why the others didn't see it or notice it.

"I see"

"I will be at the balcony if needed" but no one listened to her or saw her leave them be, but that was what she thought.

"Right" she sighed but stopped as she then noticed a window being open, and from what she knew the only one that was in his room was M-21 since the rest were still arguing in the living room.

"Sir Raizel" she turned around to find that no one was there, 'Should I tell them or should I go with them?'

She looked back inside then out to the city, though she wanted to stay her mind was already made up, she could follow them and then tell Regis where they were, wherever M-21 was going to.

"We'll separate from here, alright" Na told as the three arrived at the cliff where the island seemed closer to get to.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Em's voice was all worried as she looked at Na and Gem, "of going on our own ?"

"No" Gem admitted, "but we still need to try"

"Em, that's the only way, and it is faster-"

"If any signs of problem that we can't handle appears, I'll go get the ones who fucked the city up"

And Em was the first one to head off to the island as Gem was right on her heels, while Na stayed behind saying a prayer. One glance back he saw no one so he proceeded to follow the other two.

There was nothing there. Lights were no more on the island, everything was off.

"Gem stay and search the rooftops and down to the first floor"

"Alright "

"Em go search if there are any underground labs in this building"

"And what are you going to do, Na?"

"We know that they want me, then they should come and get me-"

"NA! That is not a plan at all!"

"It is the only one that we have. Now, there is no time to waste"

Only ten minutes in and nothing happened everything was too silent and abandon but that did not last to long, “ hahahe, by the dark wind we are fucked ”

“ Gem, what do you mean! ” Na shouted through their link but he didn’t need Gem to answer him; only the voice who began to talk was enough.

“So my little Gem appeared right at my door, making my work much easier I see”

Gem took a step back taking a full sight on the situation that she was in, Eth stood in front of her and around her there were like a dozen Z-bots or more but she knew that person, and knew that she wouldn’t hurt her at all but the thing was that the person that stood in front of her wasn’t really Eth but an imposter, the real Eth was somewhere but not in front of her.

“Who are you?! And why are you doing this!? And where is My Eth?!” She screamed, fisting her hands, getting herself ready to attack.

“Oh you seem to be a fast thinker, maybe that is why Eth was attracted to you but that is that and this is none of your business. Get her!” And the Z-bots just went at her as Eth walked away.

“Em, where are you!”

“In the basement, trying to get into the fucking lab”

“Get in we are having some trouble but it is nothing that Gem can’t handle-”

“Open it then! We don’t have that much time-” Em stop talking when some bangs were heard from the other side of the door but they were faint maybe the banging was from one or two rooms over but that only made Na open a ring of fire to next room where only glass tubes could be seen but also the building began to shake, “Hey Na, you should go with Gem something is telling me that the person that she’s fighting against isn’t Eth”

“Call me if you need me or a ring”

“Will do'' and Na left Em alone to venture on the underground labs and find the source of the bangings and to find where the kids were, but that was rather easy work not like his. The rooftop had crumbled down and there were no signs of Gem, not even the Z-bots that she was fighting with, only Eth was standing there on the crumble down rooftop.

“Oh hello my little favorite test subject~”

“Helsing!” Na groweld the man’s name out though the man spoke with a replica of Eth or that was what he figured when he reached ‘Eth’s’ mind and there was nothing there.

“How long has it been? You clearly change since the last time I saw you and that also goes for your power, my dear~”

Five minutes ago 

Gem had finished every Z-bots that had surrounded her but that only left her more tired and worn out, and due to all the power that she had released the rooftop was crumbling down taking her in the process although she didn’t fall as she was caught by a person of red eyes and dark hair. “Sir.Rai! What are you doing here?”

“I could ask you the same thing”

“I could not find M-21, Sir”

“Seira!”

“Gem” Seira nodded a greeting at her.

“Gem, where are you!?”

“Na?”

“Good you’re still alive, Get ready we’re going to have bigger problems”

“I will have to agree with you this time, Na ” she looked at Seira and Rai. “ guess who’s here”

“I know, I saw them following us and mostly Mister M, I knew he wouldn’t stay back. Now come up here I need to go back down!”

“I wonder how they’re handling it?” Em asked herself as she walked past the dark hallways that were full of glass tanks that she would end crashing up with one or two along the way so she ended up creating a small ball of fire in her hand, “Where the hell are they?”

“You don’t need to scream” Em was about to attack when she turned around and stopped on her tracks as she saw the gray-haired man with a scar on his lips was behind her.

“ M-21 what are you doing here?!”

“I’ve been following you and also I found the kids-”

“Guide me!” but when she reached to grab his arm the form of M-21 just faded away like an illusion. That only made her more alert as she summoned more fire balls as she kept on walking, “come out, come out, wherever you are~” she kept on walking until she heard a child-like voice talking out in the distance. 

“You shouldn’t be here, not them, or Eth, and not them man bleeding to death”

Em began to run, room after room but nothing was there, “Where are you all and the man?”

“In the last room”

She kept on going until she found a door at the end of the hallway that couldn’t be just simply open. She hit it once and she did it for the second time until it went down, revealing an illusion of a small girl standing in front of her that she had to dodge the attack that was aimed at her, “Really you tell me that we shouldn’t be here, but I come to get them and you simply attack me like that!?”

“Sorry- wait you’re a kitsune too!” The girl shouted and seemed to be happy about that but Em did not answer at all as she walked past her to see the kids in cells although it looked more like cages, and one of them seemed to be waking up to whatever drug was put on their system.

“E-emily” Shinwoo looked up at her as she yanked the door of the cage open, “where-we?”

“Shh- you are all safe-”

“And Eth?”

“She’s fine you need to rest, so close your eyes and breath” he did as he was told and fell to unconsciousness once again. Em let a sigh go as she saw that the rest were still breathing, alive but a crashing sound brought her back as she looked up to see the real M-21 holding Eth with one arm as the other he grabbed his side and used his back with all his strength from stopping whatever thing was at the other side of the room.

“Yokai don’t you just stand there help me out would you!”

She let go of the cage’s door as she rushed at his side and pushed him away from the metal doors as she heated them up, melting them in the process, giving them more time to leave. “So you did follow us! And who else?”

“That’s not important now!”

“Em! Please tell me that you found Eth”

“I didn’t, M-21 did”

“Good. wake her up and send her up now-”

“I also found the kids so I need a fire ring to Frankenstein's house Now!”

“Tell Na this is all my fault-” Eth had started to talk when Em just slapped her face gaining her attention to her burning green eyes while Eth just rubbed the pain away.

“NO! You go tell that to Na! So change that lab clothes to your fighting ones and help Na out and then when this is all over, us two are going to talk” Eth shook her head as her clothes changed alone and soon there was a fire ring next Em that went to the rooftop and the other at M-21 side that would go to Frankenstein’s home. “Now go, you fucker”

“Eth you better hurry up, And Em take those kids away from her all the RK are here although not Tao”

“Thanks Gem! Tell Na to close this ring” She turned around to see M-21 leaning against the wall inspecting the wound that he had around his torso, “It doesn’t look that bad and it would be healed at once we are done taking these five to Tao, alright?”

“You’re right” But he didn’t sound convincing and he knew that the wound that he had would have healed a long time ago but it had not and that worried him but that wasn’t important when they had to take the kids away.

M-21 entered first to the living room when Tao suddenly attacked him. Good thing he had turned his back at him or the kid would have been injured and Tao wouldn’t live with it. “Tao I have the kids, let me go!”

“Ah, M-21 are you alright - The kids!” He took Ikhan from M-21 and set him on the couch as M-21 did the same with Yuna and Em entered soon after with Shinwoo and Amara as Tao entered the ring to get Ivan. “What happened to them?”

“Drugged maybe so I need you to check them up!” Em shouted as she pushed M-21 to the other side of the fire ring before it closed but when she crossed to the other side she got yanked and shanken by the shoulders.

“Did you really forgot about us” Talanoa moved Em back and forth not wanting to stop not even on the situation that they were in

“Nnno Iii wasn’t sure that you were heeeeere - Hamster, leave meeee alone!”

At that Talanoa let her go as something clicked on her mind, “Wait, wait, wait- You do remember!”

“Like hell I do, now get your fucking ass up there before I burn it to crisp-”

“Good to see that the two of you are not that harmed”

Some minutes ago

Na fell back he was able to roll over to doge the upcoming attack “My subject, are you just going to keep escaping from me~” another attack but this time he was able to block it, “is this the only thing that you know what to do, doge and escape?”

“Oh! I am sorry that I’m disappointing you!” Na stood up and dusted himself off,

“I was expecting to go all out since you would be fighting with me but it seems that I was quite wrong So I had to bring them along if you resisted somehow~” 10 feet tall robots landed behind Eth’s replica.

“Ah I see you were well prepared, but why did you bring the Solderoids with you and also replicate Eth’s body? Why didn’t you come for me personally? Am I not important to you anymore?” Na took a step forth as he saw someone behind the replica, and so badly he wanted to smile because of the person who was walking towards them.

“Enough with the blabbering!” the replica shouted clearly showing how furious Helsing really was.

“Don’t tell me that got you, Helsing, got spiked by what Na just said. So tell me that is not true is it?” Eth stopped walking as soon she was right behind her replica twirling her Sickle until it was at her replica’s throat, “Oh and sir, I believe that you could no longer use this replica of mine!” and the head went down rolling. Although that only caused the activation of the Solderoids to attack.

Back to the present      

“Na!” Thena and Talanoa turned around to see Na standing at the other side of the fire ring where behind him could be seen the rooftop all fallen apart where Frankenstein was fighting with two Solderoids and Gem doing the same but with some help of Eth at her side while Saira and Regis were fighting some Z-bots at the edge of the building where not that far from there Takeo was shooting some Poisoners down.

Talanoa stepped back as she saw all the mess, “Wait Na I don’t want to go out there!”

“Sorry you have to fight your way out of this mess” and he created a fire ring below the two sending them on top of a free Solderoid.

‘ Welp there is nothing else to do here so we might as well make the most of it ’ Thena thought as she  brought her guns out, “Let’s get this party started!” Talanoa shouted as she summoned her crossbows, one on each hand.

“Go with them M-21. I’ll be with you all after I’ve made a thorough check around here”

“Then I’ll stay with you-”

“Nope, you are going out there and help us out. Em you better get out when everything has collapsed”

“Alright I trust you Frankenstei - something is wrong”

“I don’t know … M-21”

“Frankenstein!” M-21 shouted his name before he also got attacked by one of the Solderoids, but for some reason he couldn’t fight well. Sight blurry, the attacks slowing down, breathing shallowing, the wound not healing. Frankenstein quickly caught sight of what was happening.

“Master, M-21 isn’t right!”

“Take him out of there Frankenstein, now”

The two had lost him when they left, and the two knew best that they were in charge of him and they wouldn't let him die, mainly by the robot of a maniac. The Solderoids head went rolling as it was soon mutilated, burned and consumed by Dark Spear, “What the hell were you thinking!”, two voices bombed, one in front of M-21 and the other behind.

Gem and Frankenstein.

“If you can’t fight please step aside and go home” Gem calmly said as she fought.

“Why were you fighting alone in the condition that you are in, and against this thing!” Frankenstein just shouted at M-21 who stood there just grabbing his side applying pressure.

“Sir, that is enough of your shouting!” Although now she was doing the same thing, “It won’t help at all. Mister the wound” M-21 slowly removed his hand from the right lower side of his torso, it wasn’t deep as it tried to heal itself but it was too slow for how it was his healing rate, “Who did this-”

“Watch out!” Talanoa shouted at the group but no-one had heard her but Na.

“Now where is your real body?”

“It should be around, Here!” The child illusion stopped right in front of a small cage revealing a small red fox, Em broke the cage open and took the collar off though as Em set her guard down and very much expecting a thanks from the Kitsune she received the exact opposite. The good thing was that the damage wasn’t that much.

“Why are you attacking me when I just set you free?”

“I don’t know you!” the little one groweld, “the part that scares me is that you smell like aunt” the little Kitsune stopped struggling once she realized that she wouldn’t win against her.

“I, I’m sorry” Em whispered as she picked her up and a “I miss her” was heard back. Em tried to calm her down as she stroked her fingers in her fur, “There is always someone to miss in this damn world that we live in” Em began to move and run away from where she was as the Z-bots managed to break the door down. She stopped running when she came into a room that was blocked but the floor had collapsed and became the only way out. She gasped for air as she jumped and hit water and at the same time she tried to swim away from the bots and keep the small fox safe.

🌕

“Ok” Tao breathed out as he was able to bring the energy back up and running as he kept on checking the kids in the lab who were safe from danger of any type. “Now for the rest of the city” and now everyone was lightening up and operating, “lets see what was left behind - Oh God!” Tao shouted as he flew one of his drones over the damaged areas, “the KSA could cover that….Right?”

“Nathan you promised our parents that you would take care of us” Shinwoo spoke although he was still asleep and Tao did pay much attention to what he said either way as it was just easily dismissed and took them down to the lab in order to have them thoroughly checked for something else.

🌕

Em swam out of the water and headed to jump from rock to rock avoiding the loose ones and the Z-bots that somehow managed to find her. She would grab the loose rock and cover them in fire and would let them drop over the Z-bots and she still had to go up where everyone was fighting at.

60 sec later

She couldn’t breathe due to what she was seeing, hoping that the damage was not as much as it seemed to be.

He had lost his breath as he had rushed towards the group, and as he saw he clearly did not have time to waste as he created a ring of fire in front of him leaving him and the rest safe of being stabbed. Although the Solderoid did not stop there, it raised his hand high but before it could strike the hand, no, the whole arm went off and Na took the opportunity to explode the whole head off making Solderoid fall to the ground.

“Eth” Na nodded a thanks at her as she did the same,

“Better check on the mister, he’s getting everyone distracted”

And less than a blink of an eye Na was right next to M-21 already examining the wound that he had to pray Frankenstein away from the man so he could see. “The wound isn’t deep but it’s not closing as it should” he shivered as he found the reason why it was not healing.

“What does he have!?” The blonde man shouted worriedly as he fought and Gem did the same protecting them from the ongoing fight around them, questions after questions were asked but he didn’t answer none.

“Do you trust me, mister?” he asked as he prepared his hand for what he had to do next even if the answer was no,

“Do what you need to do, kid” M-21 responded as he looked down at the burning had of Na’s,

“I’m going to seal your wound but it’ll burn a bit, the sealing would also consume or better said gather whatever is in your system. In 3”

M-21 had the feeling that the kid wouldn’t count to 3 and he was so damn right. He instantly felt how his skin burned with the touch of the boy's hand that made him hiss as the burning sensation went deep into his body not simply over the skin. The good thing was that it did not last long.

“Mister M is all fixed up for the mean time, Sir” Na shouted so Frankenstein could hear him between all the clashings and explosions. 

He then turned to look at M-21, “Mister M, I need you to go and find Em and help them get everyone out of here. This place has to-” Na stopped talking as he instantly switched places with M-21.

“Nathan” was the only thing that M-21 was able to say as he saw the boy get stabbed on the chest too close to the heart for his liking.

“Mister M, do as told. Don’t let them look back” the roof began to collapse and it took Na and the Solderoid that had stabbed him. The two blondes that had been near them were now far from him not seeing what had just happened, he clenched his fist and followed what he was told to do with the only remaining strength he had left.

‘ Na?’

‘Em, you need to go’

‘I won’t leave you!’

‘You need to, this place isn’t safe. Just tell Eth to stay and to come and find me’

‘You better come back, you hear me! No more than 30. Lastly I found her, Na’

‘Thanks for letting me know, Em. I’ll go searching for her after this. Get Frankenstein to check on everyone but mainly M-21’

‘Okay, Na’

She soon found M-21 who was heading towards her but her eyes went down to the wound, “Yokai?”

“M-21?”

“I’m fine, I can still hold on” M-21 answered as he covered what was left of the wound,

“Good enough then, tell your people to go home. I’ll go tell mine, the rest will buy us time for us to leave” M-21 nodded and set off to search for Rai and the rest wherever they were.

“You really care about him don’t you?” Em looked down at her arms where the small kitsune rested as she looked up at her.

“Yes I do, as for everyone else, that includes you as well”

“Rai?” M-21 landed next the man who watched the wave go back and forth, taking everything that was once there, “we need to go, Sir”

With that Rai nodded as he turned around and let M-21 follow him, but as he did he felt as if he was leaving something behind, something important but he did not know what it was.

‘ Frankenstein, where are you?’

‘Helping Regis and Seira near the coast line-’

‘Frankenstein, we need to go home. We are not needed her anymore’

‘Master if we leave they will follow us!’

‘They will not, Frankenstein. Eth and Na will stay behind and take care of them’

‘As you say Master’

“Hamster!” Em shouted once she found Talanoa seated on the Solderoid’s shoulder as if she was riding a bull until the head and the arms were ripped off from the body.

“Yes Foxy~?” Talanoa asked as she jumped of the Solderoid before it lost its balance,

“I think you do remember that I hate being called that, and mostly by you!” Em pointed her finger at her angrily,

“I assume that u didn’t come here to fight me while we are in a fight, right?”

“No! We will do that later”, Em smirked, “but where is your sister?”

“U’re cheating on me with my sister?!” Talanoa gasped ever so dramatically.

“Em, what is it?” Thena asked as she appeared right next to the two,

“U’re cheating on me with my sister?!” Talanoa gasped ever so dramatically.

“You were never my type to begin with”

“Harsh much, can you at least fake that you care about me-”

“Em, what is it?” Thena asked as she appeared right next to the two,

“She hates me~” Talanoa whined as she shook her sisters shoulder,

“I do. Now we need to leave, how many Solderoids are still up?”

“No more than four and no less than two dozen Z-bots-” Thena was informing until Talanoa interrupted her, “And I think I just saw one of those with poison!”

Em could only hope the others had left on time, not like them and do what they were about to do, “We can’t leave no, not until this place has blown up to bits”

🌕

“Tao! The lab!!” Frankenstein shouted as he entered his home while he held a very weak M-21.

“The lab is up and running! The kids– all the kids are also down there!” Tao was left behind with the rest of the group, so the best that he could do was serve some tea for Rai but the silence that had been there soon left.

“Who found and brought the kids?” Takeo asked the first question and later Regis followed, “Are they all right?”

After setting the tea in front of Rai he let himself fall next to Takeo and sighed, “M-21 and Em Yokai with the help of Nathan. The kids were drugged but that was a while ago and I was able to get it out of their system, now they are just asleep” he closed his eyes and rubbed them. He was surely getting a headache and not the nice ones at all.

Not a moment after,

“Toa, do you have your drones out?”

“Mhm, why?”

“I might have seen something on our way back” Takeo explained as he stood up,

“Now you got me interested,” Tao answered as he opened his eyes to grab his computer in front of him. An image soon popped up to the big screen as he had sended a drone to the coast and the island where they had been fighting, but the only thing that could be seen were rocks and robot parts litter everywhere. There was no such thing as a sign of life to be seen there, but when Tao turned the drone to the cliff there, at the very edge shadows could be seen dancing with the wind but two larger ones stayed still. Before they could see more the drone dropped dead, leaving that image up.

“That was what I saw!”

“Are you sure that you did not see Gem?”, Regis asked as he stood up to take a closer look at the screen, “she was with us when we were fighting back there, was she not?”

Everyone the turned to look at Rai who set his tea cup down gaining their attention, “She was there although she did leave to go with Em”

Knocking was heard at the door and Takeo, who was the closest, rushed there just in time to see the man in front of him be brought down to the floor as there had been a fire ring on top of him releasing three female bodies over the man.

“Oi!” Takeo stepped back as he realized that the man on the floor was Muzaka, “get off me!”

“Close the ring! Close the fucking ring if you three want to fucking live!!” Tao rushed next to him watching the scene unfold in front of them, Thena and Talanoa recuperating instantly the only one that couldn’t was Em. Who was being shaken by the two girls and soon Muzaka was helping them.

“Kid, kid they need you to wake up!”

Tao looked back at the hallway and he soon got an idea that he didn’t know at all if it would work but it would work to give it a try, “I watched in full clarity how you kissed M-21 oh so passionately that afternoon~”

Everyone went silent as they heard that and look at Tao weirdly, “You fucker!!” and that was how Em was brought back to life and closed the fire ring over them who wanted to fight Tao but was too weak to do so.

“You lost too much blood!” Frankenstein exclaimed as he worked on making M-21 stable, “why did you have to leave from the window, and without telling us?!” He then proceeded to take a blood sample from the unconscious man who lay in bed.

‘ Frankenstein’

‘Yes master?’

‘Muzaka is here, Em is terribly wounded, two need check up and one does not wish to leave from Em’s side’

‘Master, could you tell the boys to help Muzaka and bring them down?’

‘I will’

Frankenstein took his glasses off and looked at the five beds that were occupied by the kids, with a sigh he decided to move them to the next room. He was not going to finish any time soon if wounded people kept on coming at this rate.

🌕

“After months, I see you back here” Frankenstein sighs, it was getting difficult to stabilize her as it had been the last time she had been with them, when Muzaka had also brought her in. Many things were repeating and if it kept on going they might be able to see a pattern.

“How did she end up this wounded?!” He heard Muzaka ask who was standing next to the two who happened to be the missing teachers of his school, and away from his area of work. 

Talanoa stroked her hand over the fox who was still as stone. The only signs that were visible that she was alive was the breathing, “she was already at her limit when she then attacked first to what was meant to be an ambush. She then told us to leave and let her do all the work”

“Let me guess, you two didn’t leave and things got complicated?”

“Yes” Thena answered this time, “we are important to her and for that reason she pushed herself more than she could. You see her body was not all that healed up from whatever had happened to her before…..she was due to collapse, her time was ticking” Thena kept on explaining what Em did before they arrived which was too much that made Muzaka shake his head.

Crossing his arms he told, “I could clearly see that happening. They were also after me a while ago before arriving here” he then offered a hand, “Muzaka by the way”

“Muzaka, as the old werewolf lord who fought with the Noblesse, who then was trapped in a lab-” Talanoa could have kept on going telling the painful history of the man in front of them if it had not been for her sister that shut her up by putting a hand on her mouth.

“What my sister really meant was, ‘Muzaka as in the werewolf lord, a pleasure to meet you!’ right Talanoa!? I’m Thena by the way”

Talanoa then bites the hand that was on her mouth and proceeds to talk, “mhm, I’m Talanoa! This is Em’s friend , she found her at the lab we were held at” she then brought the kitsune up to his face although she was now asleep.

“Wait, you said held in a lab? Are you all okay other than the wounds that you two got from the fight?” Muzaka asked with voice full of concerned,

“Wait, you said held in a lab? Are you all okay other than the wounds that you two got from the fight?” Muzaka asked with voice full of concerned, 

The two shook their heads, “we really don’t know but it would be better if we were to be check up but, it could wait since the two of them are more important at the moment” Thena explained and soon Talanoa added,

“Yep! We only have cuts, scratches and slashes - what in the actual fucking hell is that!!??”

“Calm down Tala, that’s just a lion crossing a fire ring”

15 minutes before

“Gem, were they able to leave?” Na asked, worried for the other three, no, four that had been caught in the crossfire but seemed to have managed to get far away.

“Em was able to open a ring of fire but she had been so badly wounded that she was barely able to close it.” She landed next to him where they watched everything crumble as it was now dead and be taken by the sea, “their ring took them to Frankenstein’s house. That man will surely have his hands full- where the hell is Eth at?!”

They had forgotten about her!

🌕

“So, you had known that everything would play out the way it did?”

“Yes”

“Then why did you let Helsing use you?”

“It was either be killed by you that day or, be of use for Helsing and then be killed!”

“You Hag! That day when I returned was meant to end the current Alliance and change its ways!! Not to kill you or the rest!!!” Eth stood at the cliff side of the island as she then turned around and looked down to see The Mother, on the floor kneeling in front of her.

“It is already too late. Helsing made sure that the Alliance was nothing but ashes blown by the wind, I am the only one left of the old. Now kill me, now that you can, now that I can’t fight, now that you have the time-”

Eth tightened her hand on the hilt of her sickle and then, just like that she let it go to disappear into thin air and instead she proceeded to scream at her, “Are you insane?! Have you not learned anything, at all!?”

The Mother did not respond, she only showed her wide eyes waiting.

That only made Eth groan and proceeded to explain, “The Alliance was never the place but the people who made it and with it the trust. Now leave before I change my fucking mind of killing you”

She had momentarily closed her eyes, it had been less than a second taking in some air as past memories were rushing in, until they didn’t. Eth’s eyes opened wide as the air that she had just sucked in rushed out, her eyes looked down to her stomach where the pain had erupted and was quickly spreading. 

Taking all the energy that she had left, her eyes slowly went up to see The Mother right in front of her, “My, you shouldn’t have mercy on the wrong people. Your mother knew better…until she didn’t. You looked like her but, you are not like her at all~” she felt drained, looking back down she could see the blade that she had been stabbed with glowing from all the power that was being taken. 

“You wanted answers, didn’t you?” The Mother whispered in her ear but what she could really hear were her own heart beats, fading away slowly, “I could take you where she is, and you can ask everything that you want to-”

“NO!!”

There had been a shriek in the air as the blade that was too deep in Eth’s stomach was broken in half and it was instantly stabbed to The Mother who was then  thrown to the side as an animal pinned the woman down on the rocks.

“How is she?!” Na asked as he ran up to Gem who held Eth in her arms,

“Not alright! I can’t take it out without her bleeding out! The only good thing is that the blade stopped absorbing the power of her’s- we need to go to Frankenstein’s! NOW!!”

With a nod and a sigh Na snapped his fingers creating a fire ring under the two girls and right inside the house of the Mad Man, “Wait! Na-” but Na didn’t let Gem finish as he ordered his lion to be with them.

“I’ll go and have a small talk~”

Back to the present

“And that was all that happened” Gem finished explaining as she was working on stabilizing Eth, taking the broken blade out and any remandants that may had broken up inside of the body, all of this occurring while the wound was closing itself but very slowly from what it was normal for the people like Eth.

“But Na isn’t back yet!” Talanoa chirped into the conversation since everyone had gone silent to hear Gem talk, even Frankenstein who was still trying his best to stabilize Em up.

“He knows how to defend himself and he’s also an expert when it comes to his family” Gem smiled at that as she remembered everything that Na had done for them and for a strange reason she had forgotten about it and the rest of her group.

“-Family as in blood related or as-” Muzaka was cut off by Frankenstein’s deadly stare,

“Please tell me that You just didn’t ask that!”

“I was just wonderin’” Muzaka answered back, he then turned to look at Gem’s back who was peeling off her bloody gloves, “What’s your name?”

Gem hesitated but then sigh at then end as she then turned around to look at the man and then to everyone, “My name is Gem, Gem Darkwind”

“Muzaka”

The two shook hands then Gem’s eyes suddenly went wide, “As the Lord? Can we fight one day?”

Muzaka let go as he watched Gem’s reaction, “Why?”

“My aunt once fought you and she also told me that my father did as well and the two of them are most likely at par with you, the two of them are crazy to an extent” Gem smile, “So I want to keep the family tradition up? If you agree that is?”

Muzaka didn’t give a second thought as he answered right away, “Why not”

Gem didn’t celebrate out loud but mentally she was crazily happy that he didn’t deny her, she then turned around to look at Frankenstein, “And sir, Muzaka has every right to wonder and say what he wants. Truth to be told Na has had a pair of eyes on Eth as she is his cousin-”

“Where did the lion go?” Tao interrupted Gem from the further explanation that she was going to give.

🌕

“Who are you?” Na asked, voice cold that it could give you frost bites,

“The …… Mother” she gulped, trying to gain enough air in her lungs,

“That is not what your soul says” he leaned over looking her in the eye.

“What!” She pushed herself back but found that she couldn’t move, at all. Her eyes went wide and fear was setting in her heart and mind.

“A white soul, so pure and lonely. Once covered with filth and murk, it will die like smoke taken by the wind. Sin committed by every sense will be punish by death, as for the head it would be hanged by chains while your body burns with hells flame” he went down on one knee, “after you have atoned for your crimes of existence, I just hope you don’t go killing people in the next life, much less family members or lies that they would go see their family after they die”

“I….won’t……Promise”

He offered a simple smile to her as she took her last breath and her body began to burn and leave nothing behind. “I know, your soul has already decided for you….I’ll see you in Hell, Zenika, rest while you still can…”

Standing up he caught sight of Sun, his lion, not very far from where he stood, “Oh sun, didn’t I tell you to stay with them?” Na sighed, as he walked up to his large pet, “don’t give me that face. I know how to protect myself very well-”

“So~ this has been the place that you have been hiding in?” Shadows began to swirl around him alone, separating him from his pet, violently.

With just seeing the shadows and hearing that voice he knew who he was facing, “Ozul” he whispered, and with that she appeared right in front of him. Her thumb traced down a scar that was covered by illusions, covering the mark that was left by the blood tears that he had shed throughout the many times that he had cried.

“They sended me to get you but, they’ll kill you. Don’t show yourself or else they’ll get you, they send me but not alone. One of the light family was also-”

“Why are you telling me this?” he wanted to leave, move at least but he was paralyzed.

‘ Nightmares ’

 “Once the Lord was killed, father leaded them but corrupt he didn’t become the Lord. My brother is to sit on the throne if he is able to kill you. You know there shouldn’t be any Lord sitting on that cursed throne, nor a Lord to begin with”

A warning that was what it all was, he was about to thank her when she gave her last comment, “Now I am sorry for what I’ll do.…Fight”

She threw him far away from where the two had been standing, he almost fell into the cold deep waters of the sea, “Sun!” the lion rushed to his side, protecting him from the monstrosities of the night terrors that were rushing to his direction.

On second thought the cold deep waters of the sea didn’t sound that bad at all, so standing up on the edge he let himself fall backwards, “time to go, Sun”

“By the third, everything hurts, Sun” Na told as he stood up from where he had landed on, (Frankenstein’s backyard)

“The Hell were you at !!” Gem shouted as she slammed the door opened and walked up to him with a very angry face, “And Sun can’t be here-”

“He needs to stay, for Eth’s health” he tiredly told as he rubbed his face with both hands he also didn’t want to go in since he knew there was a certain person waiting for answers from him and everyone else. “As for where I was? Well let's say that I was telling a story that they died from boredom” he even chuckled at the use of words that he had decided to use.

“That man has a thousand and one ways to kill and murder with a touch of torture without him being seen and maybe even more!”

“I see” Na said as he looked at Sun who whined upon hearing that, “yeah I can see Frankenstein taking his anger out with the largest lion ever seen”

The three of them went silent then Gem and Na turned to look at Sun, “Can he change?”

“Yes?” but his answered was unsure of what Gem really meant,

“I might have an idea”

Na gulped,

Sun stepped back with a low grunt, not liking how Gem’s eyes shined in the darkness.

“Alright what do we have here?” Na asked as he walked behind Gem who guided him where the others were, down in the lab. Pulling his sleeves up Gem answered him, 

“I was able to help Eth on time and from further damage but you should at least check on her, Frankenstein is working on Em but it has become a challenge to keep her stable when her pain is skyrocketing, as for M-21 the poison was one of the first versions-” Gem was explaining to him but she was not the only one talking once they entered the room where everyone seemed to have gathered, although away from Frankenstein’s line of work.

But everyone went silent as they saw him enter, now with Gem behind him as he walked straight to Eth, “You could set Sun down on her lap, Gem. Also you did a great work on her just for the next time that we hope there is not, also check her mouth” he informed as he brought his hand up to hover on top of Eth’s mouth and with swift motion he brought out pieces of very small metal. “You and Sun will be incharge of her, unfortunately she will need to start over as her power has greatly decreased” and will be a headache to deal with, was left unsaid for a good reason. With a sigh he moved on to the next bed to his right, where Em was, until someone decided to interrupt the silence.

“Wait! You’re putting a lion to take care of her-!” Tao shut up with a simple glare of Gem and Na even from the lion who was now looking like a lion cub, a perfect size to be carried on their arms.

“Yes I am, do you perhaps have a problem with my fucking method?” he tilted his head as he offered a smile that was all but sweet to the male hacker.

“Nope! Not at all, please keep on doing your work!” Tao shook his hands afraid to be on the receiving end of two beings that he could feel were way over his league. Na then turned and made his way to Em as he left Gem to answer for him,

“Thank you, so please do us a favor and shut up-”

“Na” Em gasped as she saw the boy in front of her, examining her wounds, every single one of them, it was clear that she was still in pain even though she was hiding it well as she fought to stay conscious.

“Oi, I’m here. Did I not tell you that one time to not push yourself on doing those goddamned rings since they take almost all the energy from you, the two of us are not that similar-”

“I…I know….I …just needed to do it..” Na shook his head as he patted her head, 

“Keep on going like this and you will burn yourself up, firefox”

She winced feeling and knowing what Na really meant with his words but yet, she smiled, “I’ll….do it all over again….to save them”

“Are you really going to join that one group of self sacrificers?” he asked as he poured his power over her, healing the small wounds and the pain, making her go stable. While in the background he could hear some comments being made.

Em just hummed in response, he stopped doing what he was doing and brought his hands up to his hair tying it up from what it could be gather as hen brought all his illusions down, and whispered, “Welcome to the club, I’m the president by the way”

Na then turned to look at everyone, “For the next procedure I need all of you out, I would not like to absorb or siphon any life force or energy unconsciously” he was serious with it, there was no offering a smile this time.

Talanoa practically jumped when she heard the words leave from his lips, “Yes!! We should head out” she was pushing Thena, Takeo, and Tao out; the others didn’t follow until Rai walked out on his own without saying a word.

Frankenstein was the second to last to get out of the room, but he did not leave without giving a warning to them but mostly to Na, “We will be seeing everything that you do on the other room” the said room had a plastic window where everyone was already watching them, attentively, almost without blinking, “if you do anything foul-”

“You’ll have my head on a silver platter” Na turned around to go between the beds of Em and M-21, not sparing a single glance to anyone.

Everyone was out of the room leaving Eth to rest who was being taken care of by Sun, while Na was absorbing poison from Em’s and M-21’s bodies. Life wasn’t just or fair to many of them nor was it fun or games, no one had a life that they wished to have, everyone was from embers and ashes. And it was difficult to come back to life like the phoenix would do.

The two who laid on the beds were asleep as Na gathered every single drop of poison and pain as well as purifying their body. He had learned throughout the years how to cure the body of anyone who would be on the receiving end of any type of poison, but, there was always something to pay. There was always a consequence of doing said action and slowly he felt it creeping into his bones.

“Pain comes and goes, all through the blood flows, let the pain fade away, letting the one heal until wake!” The room went white for a few seconds and when it faded everything had been gathered in Na’s hand, a floating orb with see through liquid inside.

He heard the door be open and without looking he knew who it was, “Give this to Frankenstein so he can examine it”

Gem took hold of the orb with a gloved hand as she put it on a transparent box she had found nearby, and then set it on a nearby table as she then rushed to his side, “how are you feeling?”

Na chuckle, but there was no amusement from it but pain, “I feel as if I had been caught in the crossfire of those two” he pointed to Rai and Muzaka.

“What were you really expecting?”

“Everything and nothing?” and yet he joked with what he feared the most. 

The two walked to the room where the others had gone and Na proceeded to inform the procedure that he had done, to everyone but mainly to Frankenstein, “I took every drop of poison out of their bodies and the pain and healed the minor wounds that they had sustained, although Mister M will be needing stitches on the area that he had been stab in. Therefore I will be needing a strand of hair from you grandfather” that was meant to sound like he was asking for permission from Muzaka.

“What did you call me, kid?”

Seeing that it would take more time than what he would like, Na walked behind Muzaka and pull just one strand of hair, “I would call you old man but I have a feeling that Mister M already calls you that, and thanks for the hair” he walked out of the room without giving Muzaka time to respond or for the others to give a small comment.

“What have we gotten ourselves into, Raizel?” Muzaka asked as he scratch his head as he watched through the window Na talk to Gem and Em who had just woken up to then see the boy start stitching the wound meanwhile M-21 was slowly starting to move  

“I fear that we might have entered into a problem far larger than the ones that we have solved….” Rai stopped talking as he saw the situation in front of them change from the chatty conversation Na was having with the other two girls as he stitched M-21 up, to then have Na just finish in time before he almost collapse next to Em who was able to catch him while Gem had gathered a red tear that had been sliding down the boy’s cheek and with one last order from the boy she gave it to M-21 who was convulsing but who soon stop once the tear had been given.

Frankenstein rushed to the room checking every monitor that was connected to M-21 to then take hold of Na who had slipped to unconsciousness to a nearby bed, with all calmness that he had within him, to then proceed to shout at Gem, “What did the two of you do to M-21?! Why was My kid convulsing after Na had done his work?!”

Thena and Talanoa ran out of the room to stand next to Gem or better said to hold her in place so she wouldn’t lounge towards Frankenstein and do something irrational, “Calm down Gem!! We can’t cause any problems here-!!”

“Fine!” she pushed the two women back, “But! For your information we did not do anything wrong, and what Na told me to give Mister over there was to save him! Although that might have caused Mister to be in the process of reverting but not completely” she began to rub her face the frustration wearing off leaving her more tired than she already was, she could kill for a cup of coffee right now!

“Reverting!!??”
