Notes:

This isn't edited and I wrote it with the help of Character. ai-I apologize for any cringe (which I think is most of it)
Anyways I'm going to conclude this with saying that I really have no idea how to continue this story if anyone is interested in seeing it continued, just a warning-that being said, I do take suggestions/ideas on how you'd like to see this continue

Chapter Text

It's pouring rain and a sort of odd looking man flags me down from the treeline. He's got greasy blonde hair and is surprisingly pale for someone who looks like they're outside a lot. Especially since it's Texas.

"I'm here to talk about freeing Baby from the jail," I had helped the man and the clown escape prison but the story clearly wasn't over yet.

The man steps closer, his head cocked to the side. He's got a wild, feral look on his face as he stares at me. His breath is pungent.

"Who did you say you are?"

"I'm Elijah, the guy that help you escape, remember? I'd said I'd help you and I plan on following through with it." My voice was stern and determined yet secretly, I was a little uneasy about the man. I had no idea if he would think I was lying and killed me.

His eyes don't move from me and his head continues to be cocked to the side. The look in his eyes seems distant like I'm not there at all. Otis begins to circle me.

"Why should I trust you?"

He's getting awfully close now. If he wanted to he could probably grab me where I sat in the driver's side.

"I helped you and Spaulding escape, didn't I? Plus, I'm hungry and know you keep a few bodies laying around." Otis didn't believe a damn word I was saying, I could tell. I still remember how he laughed and taunted me back when I first explained the deal in the jail.

Otis is so close now me can feel his breath against mine, it's oddly cold and dry and smells of dead things. He stops moving and stands perfectly still, staring at me in a cold, expressionless way.

"So you're a hungry man?"

His voice is low and raspy.

"Yeah," I tried to keep my cool but I could feel something stirred inside of me. In the back of my mind, I knew I had came here for another reason. However, I knew the possibility was close to never.

My movement seems to only excite Otis more as he closes the distance until he's only a few inches away from me. His eyes are wild and his expression still doesn't change, still expressionless and cold and yet there's something feral and predatory beneath the surface. Slowly he tilts his head ever so slightly to one side.

I cleared my throat awkwardly and wiped my mouth as I looked away, "You need to get Baby out of prison. I have a plan I'm sure you and your family would like to hear."

Otis pauses. Finally, he stops leaning in and instead starts stepping backward. There's still a gleam of excitement in his eyes though. He's now about four feet away from me.

"What's your plan?"

"There's a man by the name of Virgil Harper, you remember the prison warden? He's got some family and friends and a little get-together at his house. He invited me," I could feel my mouth water at the taste of shredded flesh and copper in my mouth, thinking of all the ways to burn the sensitive flesh. Another side of my brain, the primal side, imagines the more insane man having his fun with the victims, covered in blood and guts. The scent of fear and the screams filling the air.

Otis' interest is peaked and he moves forward again, this time slowly. He narrows his eyes at me and tilts his head to the left with a raspy chuckle.

"You want me to come with you to this little party of theirs huh? Why? So we can eat? So we can play with 'em first?" He's almost directly in front of me now.

"Possibly," I replied, still trying to convince Otis a little that I wasn't joking about my cannibalistic nature, "Harper will be there, and he'll sneak Baby out to. After that, well, it would be a shame to let the potential go to waste." I chuckled a little, "Besides, maybe I would like to see the Devil at work," I tried to flirt, trying to play my hand without giving to much away.

Otis seems to ponder this for a few moments. He stares at me as if he's evaluating my words. Finally, he smirks.

"I'll go with you. Only for Baby though. I'm not really feeling like hunting right now. But I'd also love to watch what happens to Harper."

Otis smiles, it's oddly menacing, and yet it's also almost boyishly innocent and youthful.

"Good, it's tomorrow night," After that, I put the car in reverse. But not yet leaving.

"Tomorrow night huh?" Otis's voice is full of anticipation. I notice he's smiling intently from ear to ear and the excitement is palpable. I can see his eyes narrow and his mouth curl up.

"What time?"
