Chapter Text

A new portal had opened and dropped them on the ground, but a little high so they fell. And legend was not happy about it “ARE YOU SERIEUS, SKY YOUR GIRLFRIEND HATES ME!” Sky glared at Legend really hard and threw a rock that was beside him earning a ‘FUCK’ from Legend. Twilight was holding Four, who had passed out as soon as they came from the portal. Time was helping Warriors who had lost his breakfast, Hyrule was sitting down watching Legend screaming and Wind was already up on his feet not really bothered by the portal.

“How are you not sick Wind” Warriors asked when he had sat up again being supported by time. “I’M A PAIRET, the osian is more sickening than this.” Wind waved his hands around as if to imitated the waves. Warriors just rolled his eyes. “Does anyone recognize this Hyrule?” Time asked looking around as everyone shook their head. “Is it Fours maybe?” Twilight stood up and looked around, time picked up a plant from the ground “No, there are plants here that he doesn’t have.”

“So a new Hyrule?” Wars asked. “I don’t know but we should be careful it i-” “SO A NEW LINK!? PLEACE MAKE HIM YOUNGER THEM ME BY THE HALIA!” Time was cut off by Wind earning the time look. “Twilight can you carry Four?” Time asked looking at him “Yea”

Sky helped placing Four on Twilights back. When he was set the rest of the chain went and got up to. Legend had finally calmed down. Time began to walk and the others followed.

Looking around you could see the wild life, there were animals everywhere. From what they could see it was a big Hyrule and there were new plants. Hyrule had to be stopped from running away the second he stood up. There was also a big tower that was made of wood and iron. When the chain had looked up there were island floating in the sky.

Sky thought for a second that they were in his Hyrule, but looking of close it wasn’t his sky island. Twilight pated Sky on the back as he just looked at the sky.

The chain had been walking for 5 hours and had come across 13 monster camps. They had gone around them and avoid a fight, but everyone was getting tired, and well... “I see something green” Wind said for what felt like the millions time. “Grass” Hyrule answers “I see some-” “STOP!” Legend yelled “You have been at this for like a hour, be silent.” Both Hyrule and Wind laughed and Legend just walked away. But not without a ‘I’m so done’ and a ‘Fuck you’ getting a ‘language’ from Time and Sky. “WEL I SEE SMOKE!” Wind yelled.

Everyone stopped and Wind released what he had said “I SEE SMOKE!” he pointed above where there was true to his word smoke. Wind, Legend and Hyrule began to walk before being stopped by time “Careful we don’t know if it is an enemy.” They all nodded and began to walk slowly to the smoke.

When they were close they could see what looked like a hut, but looked like a horse? Why it looked like that was beyond them. There were a few people, like 6 or 7 and animals like horses. “Why is it shaped like a horse?” Sky asked, asking the question everyone was wondering. Legend being just to tired fort his walked to the house “Maybe they just have style.”

“HELLO TRAVELERS!” The chain turned and saw a man in the house. “Hello.” Time said and walked closers. The rest followed, except Twilight he had seen horses and animals and was gone before anyone could notice being followed by Hyrule. Time came up to the man “Can you help us maybe?” The man smiled “Of course, would you like a banana bread? I should have some!”

They confused everyone, from times eyehook he could see the place had gone quit. “No thank you.” Time answered hesitantly, the place began to speak again and the man seemed satisfied. “You can never be to careful with the Yiga around, am I right” “Yea...” They had no idea what the Yiga were.

“So what could I help you with?” “We wanted to ask were we could find Link or Zelda?” The man big smiled dropped a little “And why?” “We cannot tell you” Time looked at the man it didn’t seem like he trusted us, Time looked around only to see Warriors behind him and no one else. Looking around he found them quick en of.

Wind had walked of and joined Hyrule and Twilight. Sky was sleeping under a tree, how he had fallen asleep so fast was beyond them. Four was looking at what seemed to be a big rock, but with green on it and Legend was just laying down seeming to be rethinking his entire life.

Time just sighed “Are you sure you don’t want banana bread?” The man asked again, time just shook his head. “No thank you.” “Can we stay here a night?” Warriors steps in, the man nodded. “For a normal bed 20 rupees.” Warriors nodded and handed 80 rupees “Can we take for?” The small owner nodded and told them witch beds they could take.

Before they could leave he said “You better not be trying to hurt Link, but he told me that there would be 8 man looking for him. You can find him in hateno.” Warriors and Time looked at each other, the man walked to the other side of what he was inside and looked like helping someone else.

“Does this Link know why we are here?” Warriors asked. Time schruckt, but felt really confused. Did that Link know? And how?

Time made his way to the cooking pot “NO, is it YOUR turn to cook?” Wind walked over looking at Time with disgust, as if he had already cooked something cross. Time just rolled his eyes “Yes and it can’t be as bad as Hyrule’s food” Wind pouted put nodded. Hyrule food was the worst, he ones re a lived a frog with his food. But the others couldn’t really either, but weren’t as bad as Hyrule or you would really need to mess it up.

Time opend their food bag. In there was meat (old), there was some bread (that was REALLY not good anymore), there was some salt and there were 5 mushrooms. Time sighed at the sight, they really needed to get more food. Time got out the meat from the bag, it was from some birds that had killed. Well it was more Wolfie killed them. The other days they were lucked and got into Wind’s Hyrule and could eat there.

He placed the meat into the pot “Please don’t burn.” Time whispered as he waited.

At the end it did very much burn, the chain groaned as they got there share. “Why can’t we have someone that can cook!?” Wind waved his fark around. He stabbed the meat, but couldn’t get through “EY, I WANT TO EAT THIS” He started to try and saw it. Hyrule had it in his mouth already accepting that he would get through and was just chewing. Legend had thrown it at Warriors and got into an argument... Again. And the rest just tried.

Most got some down (Wind, Twilight, warriors, Hyrule and Time) and other just didn’t and took the mushrooms (Sky, Legend and Four). And they all went to bed, except for Time. He sat awake thinking. Like how did the new Link now that they would be coming?

The next morning they began to make their way. They had gotten a map from beetle that Wind said he knew, how? Beetle said that Link would more likely be found in Tarrey Town. And because Wind knew him, they went there instead. The chain didn’t know. The map wasn’t really great, beetle said that the only person with a perfect map was Link. The map looked fine to them. They could see the lake and some trees on it, the route was on there to.

They thought that it wouldn’t be long until they got there, but how WRONG they were. They had walked for 4 hours. They were coming close they thought, but again there were a lot of monsters.

“THERE IS A SHOOTER!” Someone had shouted. There were 9 moblins, 3 red, 3 bleu, 2 black and 1 golf. Time dodged a sword and stabbed the moblin before him “There no black blood!” “HOW” Wind yelled back. The fight was harder than the black blood monsters them self, if these were normal monster they should be worried about them having black blood.

When finally the fight was over, everyone was tired. Four had broken his leg, Legend was knocked out and Warriors got a sword to his arm. Those were the biggest wound, the rest were hurt but not as bad. Hyrule healed Warriors, but couldn’t heal Four completely. Time and after Warriors was healed Warriors helped the rest with injuries.

“We should rest hear.” Time said looking around if they missed anything. “But were really close, right? We can make it.” Sky was looking at the map showing Time “Just this forest.” Time went over and looked “It is close... Twilight you think you can carry Four?”

Twilight sight, but got up to pick up four. He didn't mind but they were al tired. Not from the walking, but more from the fighting. It seemed that there were monsters everywhere.

Tarrey Town was the place that they were going. From what beetle told them it was were Link was seen last, Link apparently was a hard one to find. Really just being everywhere and nowhere. But still...

Twilight looked back where they came from. Something about Beetle seemed wrong. Like he was there, but not really? He seemed young but also old. And he had said something that was really weird. 'The stables have been around for thousands of years!' And said it like he was around? But how?

It really confused him. "Time, don't you think it is weird?" He began walking next to him. Time looked at him "What do you mean?" "With Beetle." At that Time looked understanding. "Yes, I think he knows more then he lets on. But I don't think we have a other choice then to just keep going." Twilight nodded at him. It did make sense, they couldn't go back now. But still it wa-

"NO!" Legend was screaming and running after Wind. Apparently Wind had found some kind of water plant and splashed it on his head. Hyrule was picking one up. And as the very adult like adult Twilight took it from Hyrule and threw it at Warriors.

"HEY!" "HA!" Legend laughed, stopped chasing Wind to laugh at Warriors face. Warrior seemed to realize something before "Hey Twilight give me a hug!" opening his arms and running after the Ranger that had begun to run.

At the and Warriors got Twilight and they were now both wet. Legend had also gotten both Wind and Hyrule, who took it on themself to team up on Time. Not succeeding on getting him.

They were al tired and even though they were close, the chain set up camp. Wind and Legend went to get wood (Wind wanted to go, but they knew what would happen if he went alone). Wind was babbling about how it was 'not fair' and 'could go on his own'.

Sky sat by the cooking pot and needed to make some kind of dinner. They had found more mushrooms and apples on the way. He was one of the best cook of the chain, but the bar was sat really low. Knowing it would be bland, but edible.

Four had sat down against a tree and was reading. Eyes where shining purple. The book was about some kind of story about... Something?

Warriors sat on a log. That they had gotten down. He was talking about the life as a soldier and some other things. Hyrule was next to him, not really listening. The only reason he was here, was that Warriors was keeping an eye on him to make sure he wouldn't run of. Which was fair.

Time was on a other log writing a letter to Malon. He did that a LOT. The mailman sometimes came and took the mail. And when he came he got a stack of letters from Time.

Twilight was in the woods. Time had said that he could go and look for food. Because they were short. In his wolf form he could easily pick up any smell. Of course he ran for a few minutes first, sometimes that just felt great. Before getting back where he was.

Twilight was jumping over trees that had fallen and running between the trees. He smelled and picked up a animal. He began to run in the direction of the smell, it was a dear from what Twilight could smell. It would be great!

But then there was a weird smell, but something he knew. Twilight stopped running and smelled the ear... It smelled like Wildwing? But how? His eyes widen in realization, Wildwing was here!

He began running in the direction of the smell. Wildwing was someone that was there on his journey, it was a dragon. But after his journey the dragon had just left.

Twilight ran as fast as he could. He had really missed his friend and was sure it was them. He just knew it!

Then there he stopped and saw them, Wildwing. The dragon, they were bleu but had a darker shade of blue under their wings. The left wing was thorn and there were crystal like spiked on hit back. His tail was like a blond ponytail from a hylian with a light blue bound. His head had blond like hear. And he had light blue eyes that could stare into your should. They were bigger then Twilight in his wolf form.

Twilight transformed back into his human form "Wildwing, it had been a long time since I last saw you." He walked to them. Twilight was close to tears, Wildwing made his way to Twilight and put their head in his arms. Twilight hugged it and they both stood there for a while. Even to Twilight was human now Wildwing was still way bigger. Like a half of Twilight bigger than himself.

After a while they let go and Wildwing took a couple of steps back. "Do you want me to follow you?" Twilight asked, getting a nod in respond. At that Twilight transformed back and Wildwing began to run.

It was difficult to keep up, the dragon was bigger than Wolfie. But they would go slower from time to time to let Twilight caught up.

Twilight didn't know where they were going. But he trusted Wildwing, they had saved him many time in the past.

After a while the dragon stopped. They were out of the forest and Twilight could see a town... Tarrey Town! There were houses and a lot of people. A part stood on a big rock and the rest were on the ground bellow. There were a lot of lights al around from what he could see. The part on the rots seemed to be connected by a wooden bridge. He looking at it until roar came from next to him. Wildwing looked at him and then pointed to something with their head. Twilight followed his gaze and saw a big ravine, it seemed to be going all around Hyrule.

Wildwing started walking again, but not to the town but to the ravine. Twilight let out a confused whine. Wildwing just nodded to follow so he did. It was getting dark so he needed to get back to the others soon, but

They walked for a while until they were on the rand of the ravine. Then Twilight saw what Wildwing wanted to show him, there was a bridge that led to the top of the ravine and a sign.

Twilight walked closer to sign, it was dirty. He looked around to see if there were other people and then transformed back. Twilight swept some of the dirt of the sign. On the sign stood 'Acro th br ge live  ' it was hard to read. Twilight got more dirt of it with his hand and then could read the name 'Link'.

He stood there for a couple of seconds. Before realizing that he had found the Link of this Hyrule! Wildwing let him to him! "Wildwing, you let me to the li-" When he turned to Wildwing they were gone. He looked around, but found nothing.

Twilight knew that Wildwing wouldn't stay. Watever the reason that they had left in the first place would be a good one. He shifted to his wolf form and began to run back. Twilight smiled to himself, his friend was still alive and wanted to help them. That was enough for now.

Chapter Text

Link woke up on the ground (what wasn’t unusable). He had taken out 4 monster camps the other day and had not slept for 5 days. So that he passed out on the ground wasn’t really that surprising.

“Hmmmmmm” he got up with minimum afford. “I need FOOD!!” Link screamed to himself jumping up. Talking to himself is not really that weird anymore. With traveling a lot and not having anybody to talk to. Who do you talk to then? A tree?

He stood up and grabbed his slate and scrolled, thinking of what to eat. Maybe some mushroom? Eggs? Bread? At the end he just settled for some mushrooms and started to walk.

Link near Hateno and was clearing monster camps. For some reason monsters were starting to get back and stronger. He did what he could, even if it meant losing sleep for it. “Welp, into the next one!” He scratched a little bit and went to look for a fight.

But then he heard something ‘They are here’ “What?” The voice sounded like Hylia. But Link only heard her for a blessing or… “What do you need?” Link sounded a little angry. But who could blame him? After all that had happened?

‘The heroes of the old’ That got him. He had travelled with other heroes before, but that didn’t end good… But before he could scream or ask it continued. ‘They are in the Tumlea Heights’

The Tumlea Heights… If it really was about who he thought it was about… Then they could probably use some help! Link opened his map, the closes shrine was the Jochi-iu Shrine. Normally he would start a fight with Hylia when she wanted him for another quest. But if he was right? Then maybe he could make a acceptation.

With that he teleported. In the past is used to make him sick, but now it just was as normally as it is.

When Link dropped at the Shrine he stood up fast, he wanted to look for the hero’s! And maybe his friends? He put his left hand out where a simple was of a dragon. Link went on many quests and on one he got the ability to transform into any animal or creature that he wished to be. It came in real handy for handling creatures.

He closed his eyes and focused on the animal that he wished to be, which was a mountain crow. If he was wrong he could hide easily with this bird. And he flew off to the forest.

In animals form when he gets hurt it will reaper into his hylian from. BUT when hurt in a animal form it won't reappear in a different animal form. For example, in his cold-footed wolf form he has gotten a burn mark on his right front paw (what really wasn’t his fault for jumping in a monster camp and then getting knocked into the fire). But then in his fox from there isn’t a scar, and you can’t see that something happened in his cold-footed wolf form. That is the same for getting hurt from his hylian form to the animal forms.

Link always liked to fly. It made him feel free and as if there isn’t anything wrong. Even if there is. All to soon it ended and he saw a group of people he didn’t know, which was sad. He really hoped it was his friends… The other heroes.

“SO A NEW LINK!? PLEACE MAKE HIM YOUNGER THEM ME BY THE HALIA!” The child in a blue shirt screaming really loud. Is scared the daylight out of Link, how where the vocal cords of that child not DEAD. Like what?

There were in total 8 hylians… Well most part hylians anyway. There was this green one had a lot of magic and felt like a fairy, a red one with not pants? That had also a lot of magic, but some transform magic like himself around him. There also was one that had a pelt from a wolf probably that just had a curse on him and one that had a hoodie that had 4 collars that seemed they couldn’t decide which one was the best, they had 5 spirits in them.

The rest were a little more normal with still magic, but a lot less. There was one that stood tall and proud with tatous one his face, he seemed to be the leader or some sort, one had a royal blue scarf that looked like the one that First wore. One had like a white blanked on his shoulders. And the youngest looking, with a blue lobster shirt… Who also had screamed at the top of his lungs.

They started walking again and Link just silently followed. The group started to talk among themselves and they seemed familiar in some weird way? But from where…

Then there was the voice of Hylia again ‘East Akkala Stable’ East Akkala Stable? Did he need to lead them there? Or go there himself? Or will they got there? At the last thought there was a warm wind like to say ‘that one is correct.’

Well… Now Link had a goal! He can go there and tal- No. He couldn’t the stables aren’t save. Someone is always listening in or hates him. The owners like him but the travellers are a really different story. So a plan?

Well the PLAN IS SIMPLE! He will just leave a massage! And off Link was without a second thought of what the massage was going to be or where he was going…

And of course after Link went THE WRONG WAY. He got to the stable. Transforming back to not scare anyone, before heading to the stable. Before Link even got really close people starting giving him the eye.

The eye that said ‘go away freak’ ‘We don’t want you here’ and more. No words had to be said. Well except Rudy the owner of the stable. He was always welcoming to Link. “Well, hello Link! It has been a while!” He smiled. Link returned the smile “Yea! How are you?” “Good! Thank you for asking, what can I do for you today?” With that Link explained the situation. Not everything but just the basics.

“-So can you tell them to got to Tarrey Town?” Ruby looked has ident. He was always a little protective of Link. “Are you sure they don’t mean harm I me-” “Please trust me.” Link interrupted. He smiled at Ruby to really get the message across that it was save. Ruby sighed “Ok, I will do it. But be careful.”

Link nodded and walked away after saying thanks. He walked until nobody could see him and transformed again back into the bird. He flew back on top of the stable. Now it was just a game of waiting until they arrived.

It took WAY TO LONG. It had been 4 HOURS and they still weren’t here! Like he knew that Hyrule was big, but still. It shouldn’t take this LONG!

Of course with the lot of patience’s he had he waited… Until five minutes later and he flew of. Link just went to the direction of Tarrey Town and explored along to way.

He had seen everything, but things always change so exploring would always be fun! After what felt like 5 minutes is was dark. He thought of going back… But the group would be sleeping soooooooooo. He just transformed again in a different form, a dragon.

Link had always felt more comfortable in this form, why? He didn’t know. He couldn’t’ always sleep in the form if there were people around or would come there. Link fired under his feet and layed down on top of it so the grass would be warm. He looked up in the sky, in the past you could see sky islands floating. But not anymore. They were still there. Just you couldn’t see them.

Normally he wouldn’t sleep for a long time. But because he would start a new journey. He would get as much sleep as possible.

Link looked worried as watching the night sky. What would this new journey bring? Would something bad happen? Would he lose more then he already had? There were so many question’s and no answers. With a last look in the sky Link went to sleep.

When awoken next Link had the full attention to go look for the group! Buuuuttttt… He got distracted with something really important! Like really important, it couldn’t wait important!

… What was a group of rabbits that he decided to follow around the next couple of hours.

It was Midday when he got to Tarrey Town. He didn’t know where the group was! So his best bet was to go there. Of course first transforming in human form he crossed the bridge, but stopped really quickly. In Terrey Town there was a man from the castle. The Queen Zelda and Link have not really been on good turns after a lot had happened.

So what did Link do in response? He went over and talked to the man to find out what he wanted and got him to leave.

No really he just jumped off the bridge, landed in the water, got on shore, transformed into a bird, flew up and listened in the soldier talking. Like the real mature person he is!

The soldier was talking to Hudson. “Have you seen Link.” The soldier asked. Hudson looked like he was thinking, but wasn’t. He would never sell Link out and everyone knew his issue with the Queen. Huson know where he lived. “No I haven’t, why are you looking for him?”

“The Queen has ordered him to stand before her.” Heh. Yeah, he remembered that letter. Also remembered burning it and then dancing on the ashes. There was a time that Queen Zelda and Link where friends… But that was a long time ago.

“Well I don’t know where he is.” “Then you would mind me and my friends staying here for a while, right?” On that moment more soldiers came.

Well this is not good. “Of course not.” Hudson was worried Link could see that… He hated when he got people worried. Link flew away to the trees.

He needed to lead the group somewhere else… Like his home? It was the only thing near. Knowing that there where no other option. Link transformed into his dragon form.

Because what was the best way to get hero’s somewhere? Start drama! It was almost dark so he needed to locate the hero’s fast. But before Link could even move there was a sound…

Looking at the sound that grew louder, there was a wolf. But not a normal one, it was grey and had something on his head what reminded him of one of the hylians of the group. The world was also bigger.

Then it saw him and stopped, starring. But not scarred weirdly enough. Then there was black around it and the man of the group with the pelt appeared. "Wildwing, it had been a long time since I last saw you." Twilight. That was his name… How did he know that. The man looked close to tears. Link didn’t know who ‘Wildwing’ was, but the ma- Twilight looked save.

So when Twilight walked to him, Link put his head is his arms and they stood there for a while. The wolf thing must be his curse! Wait… He could now just lead Twilight to his house! Way better then scaring them there!

… Wel that was a lie. Scaring them would have been way funnier. He took a couple of steps back and motioned to follow him. "Do you want me to follow you?" Twilight spoke watching him. Link just started walking. He got it!

Twilight transformed back into wolf form (what a little weird). And followed him. Sometimes Link needed to slow to allow Twilight to catch up to him and now lose him.

They got out of the forest and Twilight look at Tarrey Town. He must know what it is. But that wasn’t that Link wanted him to find, so he growled to get Twilight’s attention. When he looked Link pointed with his snout at the bridge what led to his house. It was a little away, but could see be seen.

Link started to walk, Twilight looked confused but after he nodded to follow him he did so. Twilight must really trust this Wildwing, considering they were still a. He didn’t know… A DRAGON. Maybe it was a little bit waring that he was so trusting, but well.

They got to the bridge after a little bit of walking. Twilight seemed to look around for people that were not there, nobody came here because it was ‘dangerous’. What really just was him scaring people off.

After not seeing anyone, Twilight transformed back. And went to the sign that was next to the bridge. He began to dust of the sign to look at what was written there.

At that moment Link transformed into a crow and flew fast up, but slow enough so that Twilight wouldn’t notice. He saw him trying to say something, but saw that he was gone.

Twilight seemed to accept it rather fast and transformed again and went off. Probably went to his group to teel, hopefully.

Link flew to his house and transformed back into hylian, before going to the cliff side and looking across the land. “Where did I know you from?” He asked himself. It was really weird. He never met Twilight, but did in some way?

Link went to lay down with a ‘oef’. To many questions!!!!!! But there was something that he knew, this was going to be interesting.
