"Trash" of the Wizard World.

Summary:

What is it with people wanting to play god? Cale does not know. He is kind of sick of people mistaking his as a god.

"He will never get his slacker life"

Cale is invited to Earth 13 "The Wizarding World" where he is asked to find and destroy all the Horcruxs old voldyshorts made. He accepts and he as well as Choi Han and Beacrox are regressed to 15 to complete the fifth year at Hogwarts. Cale tries and does not succeed in keeping a low profile.

I don't think I'm a good writer nor do I have a beta reader. This is just me throwing my thoughts into a story because I can't find one to read. If you have any suggestions I will be reading the comments.

Cale was well aware that the mirror in his pocket was dinging. It had been for the last few days and he was trying his hardest to ignore it. It had only been a few weeks since his last adventure to a new world. He was not ready for another one yet. However, this world seemed to be persistent. Yet here he was in a boring meeting with his hyung-nim and other nobles about the recent state of the Roan Kingdom. He did not like the glances he received when the mirror chimed.

Cale sighed while taking out the mirror.

< Invitation for Dimension Travel >

There was an envelope-shaped icon and some writing underneath it.

< The Earth 13 has sent an invitation. E13 is a place with a long history... [See more details] >

< Will you read the invitation? >

There was something else at the bottom.

< PS. I heard from the God of Death. I heard that you like money. You have a lot of money here would you like to get it? >

Cale almost laughed while reading the PS. It seemed that the higher beings gossiped a lot if everyone knew he liked money.

Cale clicked < see more details. >

< Earth 13 is a place with a long history. It may seem like normal earth however there is a whole society of wizards living in secret for most of the muggle world. The wizarding world, also referred to as the magical community, is the society in which wizards and witches live and interact separately from Muggle (non-wizarding) society. Only a few in the muggle government as well as a few muggles outside know of this community. The two communities were kept separate through the use of charms, spells, and secrecy. There are all sorts of magical creatures as well. Wizards were forbidden to reveal anything about Wizards were forbidden to reveal anything about magic to Muggle society due to the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy.
Each country had a form of wizarding government to oversee magical affairs in their territory, such as the Ministry of Magic or the Magical Congress of the United States of America (shortened MACUSA). The International Confederation of Wizards (ICW)serves as a wizarding intergovernmental organization.

The reason for your visit would be to help the wizarding world with The Dark Lord. Tom Riddle also known as Voldemort is a wizard who split his soul into 7 pieces also known as Horcruxes. They are very similar to dead mana so I ask you to find and purify these Horcruxes. You will be aided by the Goblin Nation as well as the ICW. >

Many of the Nobles flinched when Cale let out a deep sigh.

< You will go to a school, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The term begins on 1 September. Students usually reach Hogwarts via the Hogwarts Express, which leaves Platform 9¾ of London's King Cross Station at 11 a.m. sharp. Students are sorted into four houses, Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw. You will be regressed to 15 along with two others of your choosing. You are allowed a single pet between an owl, cat, or toad. >

Cale let out another sigh. Alberu raised an eyebrow wondering what his dongsaeng got himself into this time.

< You will be the Heir of the Henituse family. The Henituse family is one of the oldest and wealthiest wizarding families in the world. Many say its lineage comes straight from Merlin. You were homeschooled for the first four years but your family wants you to socialize so they are sending you and two guards your age for your fourth year. I will input any more knowledge you may need to know into your and your group's brains. >

Almost everyone flinched when Cale smiled.

"Human you are smiling like that again. Are we looting someone? It's been ages. I can't wait" The young dragon spoke into Cale's mind making the smile slowly fall away from his face.

Number of people allowed: 8

Please come quickly. I would not like any innocent blood of children spilled on my lands just because of a man who wants to be god.

P.S. You may use and take the Henituse family fortune to your world. You are the real heir after all.>

A Wizarding world. Cale had read many books about wizards. He knew he would take this the moment the world had said that innocent bool of children would be spilled id he did not come. I was a given. Children should be protected and kept safe. They should not have to live in fear of any God wanna-be basterds.

"Hyung looks like i will be leaving for a bit. I'll tell you the details in a bit. Raon take us home." Cale said shooting the crown prince a look before he was teleported to Super Rock Villa.

He needed to plan this right. He was taking the children and Choi Han so that leaves 3 more. It would be good for Beacrox and Ron. He would need the butler if he was going to act as an heir. It was a magical world so either Rosalyn or Eruhaben. Tho Rosalyn seemed to be swamped with rebuilding the magic tower the last time he talked to her. So that leaves Eruhaben.

Cale sighed heavily. He hoped this wouldn't be too much work.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Bishop-nim. The Commander-nim and his people have arrived.”

“…Yeah.”

The bishop looked toward the door of a white prayer room that could fit about twenty people.

Click.

The door opened and people who had their faces covered by robes walked into the prayer room.

“Ah, you’re here, Commander-nim.” The Bishop said bowing a bit before looking eyes with Cale.

Cale removed his hood to reveal his face before warmly greeting the bishop.

“Then we will leave right away.”

“Yes, Commander-nim.”

The bishop nodded and retreated toward the wall of the prayer room. The few officials from the temple who were by his side also retreated to the walls with solemn looks on their faces.

‘The divine item is going to be used again.’

It truly seemed to amaze them each time the Commander used it. That fact was making the temple officials’ hearts beat wildly and their hands shake uncontrollably.

Cale stood at the center of the empty prayer room.

He raised his head.

The soft white light at the center of the ceiling was right above Cale’s head.

“Let’s get started.”

He spoke to his friends and pulled the mirror out of his pocket.

< Will you accept the invitation? >

< YES / NO >

Cale’s finger touched the YES.

Ooooooooong—!

A large circle was created with Cale at the center.

< Would you like to be transported now? >

< Currently at 8 members >

“Yes.”

Cale responded to the invitation and a black light shot up from the circle.

It was a black light that did not feel ominous at all. It still felt warm.

Cale was still annoyed after thinking that this warmth that was surrounding his body was from the God of Death.

< Commencing transportation. >

The divine item activated and black light soon burst out in all directions, covering the eyes of the temple officials in darkness.

Once the darkness subsided, Cale’s group and the circle were gone from the center of the prayer room. The Officials all fell to their knees in prayer. They were truly lucky to see such a sight from their god each time.

Cale heard the voice of the God of Death while he was surrounded by darkness.

< You are now being connected to Earth 13. >

Notes:

E13: We would like to invite you to this wizarding world

Cale: No

E13: I will give you money.... also children will get hurt if you don't come

Cale: looks like we are going on another adventure friends.

Chapter 2: Gobilns

Chapter Text

*On Earth 13- The Goblin Nation.*

Ragnok did not know much about the people Emrys, The World, was going to send. It made him a bit nervous. The Elf Nation had sent him a letter detailing that the Henituse Heir would be arriving via Apparition.

At first, Ragnok was confused. There had not been a single Henituse family member come to them since the Goblins created their vaults. It took a long conversation with the World to understand the weight of the people coming.

Ragnok was told that the Heir would be doing something for the world tree while he and two others go to Hogwarts. He was told that he and the goblin nation were to treat the Heir as they would treat the World. So, he sent out for the representative goblins and Knarlak to come to the throne room. He explained what he knew to the goblins in the room.

Ragnok was nervous when he felt magic start to gather in the center of the throne room. A small circle started to a pear and light flashed.

Ragnok had to close his eyes because of the intensity of that light. It did not feel like magic. When he opened his eyes he could not help the gasp that left his lips.

At the center of the people who appeared was a boy. Ragnok wanted to sink to the floor and worship this boy. He instantly knew this boy was the Heir. It seemed that all nature resided inside this boy.

The boy radiated beauty and Ragnok was left utterly speechless. It was as if the boy's hair was made of rubies and all the jewels and gold in the room could not compare.

Not to mention the boy's companions. Ragnok was sure that the boy had two dragons with him. Ragnok was sure that he would have mistaken the boy for one as well if not for Emrys' warnings. Emrys made sure he knew that the Heir hated attention to himself. "The Heir would not like anyone to think of him as anything other than human" The world had told him.

When the boy spoke the proper goblin greeting Ragnok knew that from that point on he would give this boy all he needed and more. If the boy asked for all the gold in the world, Ragnok would do all he could to provide it. And from the smiles on all for his fellow goblins said anything, they would do the same.

So, Ragnok did all that he could do and composed himself and returned the greeting. This was going to be the most fun he would have in a while.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Once the darkness faded out. Cale opened his eyes to see many goblins surrounding him. It was quite unusual because these goblins were smiling in a usually vicious way. Looking around, Cale saw about a dozen creature carcasses and heads mounted around the large room. Golden statues and trophies were also placed in many places around the room.

'Human these creatures are strong. They are as strong as one of my horns.'

'Hm unlucky bastard, these goblins are a little weaker than Rosalyn. They are quite interesting.'

"Hello, may your coffers overflow," Cale said after gulping. The phrase came out naturally, Cale spent a few seconds to search through the new information that was placed in his mind.

The voice that came out of his mouth sounded a bit young and weak to Cale so he assumed that he was indeed 15 years old. Looking at his group he realized that both Choi Han and Beacrox looked 15 as well. Though Cale seemed to be a few inches shorted than both of them.

It seemed that was the right thing to say, as every goblin in sight pulled their lips back revealing lines of sharp teeth. They were truly vicious.

"Haha. May your enemies be vanquished. You seem to already know everything. Hmm. My name is Ragnok i am the king of the Goblin nation."

The goblin sitting on a throne spoke. He seemed to almost be drowning in jewels. Not a single one of his fingers was bare and he had what seemed to be hundreds of jewels lining his short neck.

"My name is Cale Henituse. These are my companions," Cales groups slowly started to introduce themselves. An Invisible Raon and the cat children stayed quiet.

"My name is Choi Han" Choi Han stepped forward and bowed slightly as he introduced himself.

"I am Ron. This is my son Beacrox." Ron and Beacrox also bowed slightly. They were more elegant than Choi Han.

"I am Eruhaben." Eruhaben introduced himself with only grace a 1,000-year-old dragon would have.

"Hmm, It seems that you have powerful Allies Heir Henituse. An Elf does not have that much magical aura. If I may ask what are you Sir Eruhaben."

Many goblin eyes widened at the tone of voice Ragnok used. It was uncharacteristic for the Goblin King to be respectful to a human. Who was this Cale person to have gained such respect from their king?

Ragnok was feeling nervous. The wizards had ruined what was known to be dragons before the community because of the many things that could be made with dragon skin and strings. Dragons were forced into breeding until they became feral and more monster-like. But the creatures know what they used to be. The three beings in this room look and feel like dragons. Ragnok was excited and did not want to anger the mighty beings.

Cale's lips twitched downward seeing as the goblin king kept glancing between him, Eruhaben, and at air by Cale's shoulder where an invisible Raon was.

'Human.... I sent him a greeting earlier. He sent a small one back! Isn't that exciting!! Can I show myself?'

' I will introduce myself properly. They seem to be no threat to us.'

Cale nodded his head a bit at both of the dragons. They can do as they wish. However, it is quite interesting that the king sensed the amount of power between the dragons.

" My name is Eruhaben. I am an ancient Dragon." The gold dragon reintroduced himself. During this, his pupils became that of a dragon's.

"......"

"A dragon!"

"An ancient one at that"

Before anything else could be said Raon became visible in the air.

"What"

"Another one"

"......"

"Hello Goblins. I am the great and mighty Raon Miru. I am a total of six years old."

That is what stunned the goblin into silence. These two dragons and a human that is so surrounded by nature that the goblins want to protect him as they do with the world tree branch they have. It was quite confusing.

"Kekekeke..." The Goblin kings laughing is what finally broke the silence. "You are interesting Heir Henituse. This is Knarlak he is the goblin that manages your family vaults. It seems that the World, Emrys, has known you were coming for centuries as they are the first vaults that were ever created for a family."

Ragnok gestured to his right at a goblin that was almost as decorated in gold as the king himself. It almost made Cale smile then and there. If that goblin was his vault manager then his vaults must be overflowing.

"It seems so Your Majesty. Please call me Cale. Heir Henituse seems too formal." Cale smiled sweetly at the king. Who in turn smiled viciously back.

'Human are we going to scam someone?'

"Very well Cale. While you are staying here you will be under the Goblin Nations protection. Let us move to a better place to discuss what that means and the rest of the information you will need. Follow me please."

Cale glances at Ron, who was the first to move, and follows Ragnok to a small room to the left of the throne. To room was decorated with gold and silver all around it. Ragnok sat behind a desk and gestured to the two chairs in front of him.

Ron pulled out the chair for Cale and gave him a cup of lemon tea as he sat down. Cale gulped at it before taking a sip. Eruhaben sat in the seat beside Cale.

Knarlak and a human with long ginger hair tied in a bun walked into the room and stood behind the king. The man has strikingly clear blue eyes and a long scar that runs from above his right eyebrow to right above his upper lip.

'Weak human! ... That human is a bit strong. He is like Smart Rosalyn.'

"Cale, this is William, Bill, Weasley. He is an Anzar, an honorary warrior and member, of the goblin nation. He will be your main contact with us. If you are ever in need of anything or in trouble he is the one you would turn to." The man gave Cale a small smile and bowed slightly at Cale. " Emrys informed us of your arrival a few weeks ago allowing us to prepare a bit. However, we do not exactly know why you are here. We know that you and your two guards will be going to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the year. We have already contacted the school under your parents' names, Deruth and Violan Henituse, stating your transfer for you. That is set up and ready for September 1st. Would be able to give us the details?" Ragnok spoke carefully.

He was not happy that the red-haired boy would be going to Hogwarts around all those Wizards when it looked like a war would break out soon.

"Yes, Thank you for arranging for us to go to Hogwarts. We are here to search and purify Horcruxes created by Voldemort."

Right as Cale finished speaking his vision became blank and his body went limp.

"Human!"

If Ron had not caught him he would have hit the ground.

________________________________________________________________________
Cale could see a room crammed from floor to ceiling with gold coins, silver armor, skins of great creatures with long spines and drooping wings, potions in jeweled flasks, and a skull donning a crown.

It seemed to be a vault.

What caught his attention was a golden cup that was decorated by a badger. It would have been a magnificent cup if not for the black smoke oozing out of it. Cale instantly knew what it was. It was a Horcrux. Looking around Cale tried to find a clue as to what vault he was in. The faster he destroyed the Horcruxes the sooner he got to go home.

Cale looked around for a bit before he was able to find a journal. On the front of the journal was the name "Radolphus Lestrange" Then he was fading again.

________________________________________________________________________

" Come on human wake up or I'll destroy this world!"

Cale once again woke up to the vicious words of the young dragon.

"I awake don't worry. Though I do need to ask Emrys a question." Cale reassured the dragon while taking out the mirror in his pocket.

"I would like answers as well Young Master," Ron said while sharpening a knife that was not out before Cale had seen the vault.

"Right," Cale gulped 'What a scary person.'

Cale turned back to the mirror in his hand.

"Hey, I heard your name was Emrys. What happened just now? What did I see?"

The Goblins and Bill's eyes shook for a moment when Cale started to talk to a mirror that supposedly the world could talk to him in. Just who was this boy?

The mirror shook for a moment before dinging.

< Right...Sorry, Sir Cale. That was a vision. I have gifted you with a few magical gifts that should help you with your mission. >

Gifts..... that made Cale smile and a few people in the room flinch.

< You have The ability Seer which allows you to have visions of places in the present, past, and future. They should warn you of dangers and show you the path that you need to take. However, each time a vision comes to you, you will faint.

Sorry........

I have also given you mage sight, which allows you to see magic that others cannot. Like the black magic that was surrounding the Horcrux you just saw.

P.S. Please don't let your family destroy my world. >

"It seems that Emrys gave me a little gift. I have the gift of Seer and Magic sight. I just had a vision. Each time i have a vision I will unfortunately faint. King Ragnok it seems that you have a Horcrux in a vault in your bank......... The Lestrange Family vault."

Notes:

Cale: *greets the goblins with the right and respectful greeting*

Goblins who have not heard a wizard/human greet them with respect for hundreds of years: *Shooked faces* We must protect this amazing child!

Also the first Horcrux is a bit easy but the rest won't be.......:)

Chapter Text

Ragnok acted quickly sending Knarlak, Bill, Cale, and Choi Han to the vault while Eruhaben and Ron finished telling the king about why they were here.

Knarlak led the group to a mining cart on tracks that launched them on a ride of hell.

The only ones who seemed to have fun on the ride were Raon and the Cats, who were in Choi Hans's arms.

The group was led to a large vault deep inside the bank. Knarlak opened the vault and Cale recognised it instantly. It was the same as the one he saw.

Bill was skeptical. Well, you can't blame him the Heir didn't even have a wand in his hand. How was he going to "purify" the Horcrux

-Cale is it my turn again? We could get rid of that easily. It won't even take 10% of our power.

Cale walked into the vault and pointed at the cup. "It's this one. Would you like me to purify it here or would you like me to do it somewhere else?"

"Will the purification destroy anything?" Knarlak asked after glancing at Bill.

-It won't hurt anything. keke. I can feel how easy this will be!

"No, it is a simple process that will not harm anything or one involved."

"Then, do as you wish."

" Don't worry human I got rid of all the magic that I could so it should be safe to purify."

Raon said while flying upside down with a huge smile on his face.

"Thank you, Raon. You did well." Cale said while he took out the divine item.

As he took it out he put a bit of his power into the item. It started greedily sucking Cale's power. It wasn't taking much at all. That fact made Cale smile.

After a few seconds, a red fog started to spread around the vault. Anything that was labeled harmful was purified and held no spells that could harm someone.

Knarlak was shocked. After inhaling the red smoke he felt stronger and more connected with magic. Who was this person so overflowing with nature that he is able to dispel any harmful magic in an instant? Is he even human?

Bill felt the same. Is this child even human? The thought passed through his head before he saw something that made him gasp. The boy's hands were shaking. Bill only saw it for a moment before the Heir hid them in his sleeves but he saw them. Bill could only respect and try to protect this child who bears such a heavy burden.

Cale's hands were shaking. It was hard to keep them still when The Cheepsake was shouting in his head.

-Let's F**king go! We are very powerful!! I could be a lot more before you faint!! Let's aim one at the GoD!!

-We are indeed a bit stronger.....

Now that Super Rock spoke up Cale did notice that he felt a bit stronger. It wasn't by much but he should be able to get this job done pretty quick and go back home.

"I am done. We should get back to the others."

"Ah. Yes, please get back on in the cart and we will return."

Cale sat in between Choi Han and Beacrox while Bill and Knarlak steered the carts. The way back felt easier than the rollercoaster that was the first ride.

"Cale-nim are you ok?"

"Hmm. Yes, I'm fine why?" Cale glanced at Choi Han while answering. He was a bit confused by the concern but answered honestly regardless.

Beacrox scoffed a bit while Choi Han frowned a bit. They both had seen the shaking hands but could do nothing about it.

"Alright." Choi Han said with a sign.

'Why is he acting fine when his hands are shaking so much?' Almost everyone in the carts though at once. All of their gazes darkened

'Why is everyone so vicious?'

________________________________________________________________________

The King greeted them with another vicious smile when they returned to the room. It seemed that he and Eruhaben had a good conversation while he was out of the room because the older dragon was also smiling.

"I assume everything was taken care of, " After both Knarlak and Bill's nobs he continued talking. "I heard everything from Sir Eruhaben. I gave him a portkey, this ring... "

Ragnok pointed to a golden ring with a few small rubies placed all around it. It was a nice ring. Though not much could impress Cale after he went to Eruhaben's Lair.

"...will take you to where you will be staying all you have to do is touch it and say 'Home'. It will also bring you here if you go through the same process and say, Silver Hall."

-I checked and it does indeed work like that Cale.

-Oooo Human it's like a teleportation scroll!!

"Thank you," Cale said with a nod. He will let Eruhaben keep the ring. It would do much good for him to have it.

"I would also like to give you a thing Heir Cale...," The king held up a dangly gold earring with a strange symbol and rubies surrounding it. Cale picked it up and looked over it. "... It has protection magic on it. If you are in distress and require help just press the center ruby twice. The symbol on the earring is the Goblin Nation symbol. It will show the other wizards that you are under our protection. Once they see it they should not give you any trouble."

-This one is also safe.

"Thank you. I will wear it well." Cale said almost smiling. He took out the gold stud he had in his right ear and put in the new one. Surprisingly it weighed nothing at all. Though Cale did feel the magic in it wrapped itself around him. It was like wearing a warm blanket.

"If that is all. It is best that we get going. It seems that it is quite late." Ron declared.

It was indeed late as the clock on the wall behind Ragnok showed a few moments before midnight.

"Yes, I agree. " Cale mumbled as he got up. He did not want to be around these vicious goblins for much longer. The rest of his group followed suit.

"Very well, If you need the Goblin nation you know what to do. Bill should be able to easily travel to Hogwarts so he will check on you all every other week. May your coffers overflow with rare jewels." Ragnok bowed slightly in goodbye.

"Yes. May your enemies shiver at the mention of your name." Cale said and offered the goblin a small smile. The King did help them a lot.

"Raon, On, Hong change to your human forms we all need to be holding this ring to go."

The three children did as asked. It was not surprising to the king but the other two in the room could not hold in their shock and openly gasped.

"Ok naya~"

"Ok Human!!"

After they all grabbed the ring, which was actually quite large and could probably fit around Cale's wrist, Cale whispered the words. "Home"

The world around Cale went black once more.

________________________________________________________________________

"My King. Was the child human?" Knarlak asked once the group dissipated.

"I do not know. If he is human then he is loved by nature." Ragnok replied with a girn. It would do him well to stay on the boy's good side. Something told him that the cute child would change in an instate if provoked.

Notes:

Cale can wave his slacker life goodbye......The goblin won't hesitate to go to war for him. Also, who should I make this world's Clopeh?

Chapter 4: Manor

Notes:

Am i making Cale very OP? Yes...YEs i am....?

Is anyone opposed to the idea that because of his ancient powers he can control the elements?

Like he can control the trees because of Glutton..and the wind because of Thief....and Earth because of Super Rock. So how about fire and water?

Ron: Young master please take you hand out of the fire place you are scaring everyone.

Cale: But it's warm in here.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Cale opened his eyes to a manor only a bit smaller than the Manor the Heituses lived in back home. He was a bit impressed. Looking around it seemed the manor was in the middle of nowhere.

Pop
"Welcome Heir Henituse. I am Oliver the Head Elf of the Henituse manor. I will show you to your rooms. Emrys has left things for each of you that should help you during your stay."

Cale did not know much about house elves. Through the knowledge that was placed in his head, he knew that they worked for magical families in exchange for being conceited/feeding the magic of the family. They needed to be connected to the wizard so that they were able to exist. However, this house elf named Oliver did not look at all like the house elves that kept popping up in Cale's brain. The Elf in front of him looked more like the Elves back home. He had long brown hair that was braided, fair tan skin, long pointy ears, and large green eyes. He was a bit taller than Cale and seemed well put together. It seemed as though they were going to be served by elves rather than house elves.

-Human he is strong..

"Oliver, we are in your care."

They first arrived at Eruhaben's room. It was more like a laboratory than a room. It was decorated with gold and had everything Eruhaben needed to study the World they were in.

"This seems acceptable. I'll stale in and then we can talk about the plan."

Oliver seemed especially relieved when Eruhaben showed his acceptance of the room. Well, Cale was sure that the Elves in this Manor knew their identities. That also means that these elves either had a branch of the world tree or were the ones guarding it.

"Oliver is the world tree near here," Cale asked quietly as they started moving again.

Oliver paused. This child..no..man..? This Human had a brilliant mind. Oliver was the King of the Elysian Elven Tribe. The oldest Elven tribe to exist. Millions of years ago, Emrys, the world, entrusted his tribe with protecting the world tree and the Henituse household. The latter was confusing for many, there was no Henituse household. A Few hundred years later when the world said the wixen world was to be established, the world had one of his ancestors play a Henituse. They helped establish the Henituse family in the wizarding world. The world told them that this would be important in the future. That someone who would save the world would come bearing the name Henituse.

The moment this group showed up he was sure this child with blood-red hair and eyes a reddish brown. He knew that this one would be their savior. The child seemed to be the embodiment of nature itself. It almost felt as if the World had taken a human form and walked before him. He wondered if this was what Merlin felt like to his ancestors.

"Yes, we, the Elysian tribe are entrusted to guard the World Tree as well as this manor and those who are made to stay in it. Such as your self Physis."

(The Elf was referring to Cale as Physis which is the greek word for Nature. Most of the creatures will refer to him as Physis.)

Nature. The Elf had just called Cale Nature. It was not surprising. Eruhaben had told him that his ancient powers made him smell of nature to him.

" You can call me Cale."

Cale was slightly uncomfortable as the Elf stoped and smiled toward him. It seemed that the Elves would not listen to him.

"Physis this is Mister Rons Room. We have prepared some weapons for you sir. Please let us know if they are not to your liking."

"Hmm, I will let you know." Ron Smiled a bit viciously to Cale so he turned away.

"Beacrox your room in the door right across the hall. Physis and Choi Han if you will follow me a bit further."

They dropped of Choi Han and walked a bit further into the manor before they got to a green door.

"This is your room Physis. If you need something call my name your ring the bell in your room."

Oliver bowed and then popped away. It was quite intriguing that these elves could teleport or apparate.

Opening to door to the room Cale eyes widened a bit. The room was cozy. There was a large bed to the side and shelves upon shelves of books. There seemed to be a second floor of books as well. There was a comfortable green chair hanging from the ceiling. There was a circular window showing the forest outside the manor. In the corner of the room, there was a comfortable low bed that was covered in pillows and blankets. It seemed to be a great room for Cale. In a different corner of the room was a desk that seemed to be covered with maps and stones.

"Human this room is great! It's so cozy and nice!! You can sleep all day if you want!"

"Nya this room is nice Nya~" Hong

"It is Nya~" On

Cale was happy that the Children were happy. However, the smile that was making its way to his face disappeared before it even got there.

Ding!

< Hello! I hope you made it to the manor well! Please excuse the Elves calling you Physis. I am assuming every creature you come across will decide to call you that. There is not much i can do about that. On the desk, in your room, I have placed a wand. It is made with my wood so it should be good enough for your magic. It has a core of the only known Black Phoenix feather. Don't worry it was given willingly. You did not have a great amount of magic in your blood before coming here so I gave you some of mine to help you. You will not be able to use any other wand. They will be too weak for your magic and break.....Hehe

anyway...

Choi Han's wand, which he had already found, is made of Blackthorn wood. This wood is best suited for those who are warriors. Its core is the Hair of a Unicorn. Also freely given. I hope he uses it well.

Beacrox's wand is made of Fir wood. A wand made from this wood typically chooses owners who are focused, strong-minded, and occasionally have an intimidating demeanor. The Core is the feather of a Phoenix, freely given. I have seen these wands choose each one of you and decided to save you from having to explain why you don't have a wand even though you are 15. >

The wands seemed to fit his two guards well.

< There will be a hearing that you have been invited to because of the Henituse's seat i the Wixengamot. I will ask that you go. The trial is because 15-year-old Harry Potter used magic to chase away a dementor, who was attacking him and his cousin. On the first shelf to your left, there is all the books you need to be up to date on all the information. I could not put it all in your brain. It would have overwhelmed you.

Please Go. >

The children were already asleep on the low bed in the corner. It was expected. Many exciting things happened today. Cale walked to the bookshelf to his left and grabbed 5 books that looked to be the width of two dictionaries each. It was going to be a long night.

Notes:

Physis means Nature in Greek. I couldn't find a better word for what the creatures would think Cale is. Some will think that he is nature itself in human form.

Creaturs: You are nature = Physis

Cale: Please call me Cale.

Creaturs:.....No.....

Chapter 5: Wixengamot pt1

Notes:

Cale does in fact think that Alberu would run the wizarding world a lot better than all of the past Ministers.

Cale: Hyung, what do you think of becoming a Minister for a magical community?

Alberu: Cale, what do you think about me making you the minister...

Cale: How dare you even say that to me.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Cale was not impressed. He had spent the past two days reading up on the wixen world. It seemed that they were severely behind in many things.

He would not get into that.

But what he was currently unhappy about was the letter that Oliver gave to him over breakfast.

"Physis a letter from the ministry came. Would you like to read it your should I give it to our archivist, Marvin, he typically handles the mail."

"Thank you, Oliver, I'll read it thanks."

Cale opened the letter that was stamped with wax.

"Dear Lord Henituse,

The Trial or one Harry Potter has been moved to 8 am in Courtroom Ten. We ask that you find time to attend as it will be in front of the Wizengamot.

signed
Cornelius Fudge."

"What utter Bullshit," Cale mumbled.

"Ron, what time is it currently?"

"It is 7 am, Young master. Do you need to get ready for the trail already?"

"Hmm yes, they changed the date. I'm going to take Raon and Choi Han with me. They shouldn't do anything if I say he is my guard. Oliver I can take my guard correct?"

"Yes Physis, an Heir going in place of the lord is allowed a guard. I wish you well. I will give you directions to a desk that should be able to help you find your way around the ministry. I would suggest being there at 7:30."

Oliver said this with an odd smile but Cale chose to ignore that.

"Thank you. Choi Han, please get ready. I would suggest taking your wand as well as your sword."

"Yes Cale-Nim."

"Hmm, why don't you just call me Cale for now? We are both acting as children are we not."

"Ok, Cale. I will go get ready and meet you at the door."

________________________________________________________________________
It didn't take long for the both of them to be ready.

-Wow human you look very nice!!

"Thank you, Raon. It would be better for you to turn into a cat. You can lay around my shoulders like On and Hong like to do. Be careful not to send any greetings to the wizards. We don't want them to know what you are."

"Ok Human. I will not send anyone Greeting from the great and mighty me!!"

"Thank you, Raon. "

Raon slowly morphed into a black cat with sapphire eyes. He was a bit smaller than On and Hong but was comfortable around Cale's neck.

Cale was dressed in black formal robes with gold accents. His hair was let down with small braids going through it. A nice Elf named Lilith asked to do his hair. There were small golden charms within each braid.

Choi Han had on a blackguard uniform with golden accents. It seemed something the royal guards would wear. Choi Han seemed to like it so Cale left it alone.

"Are we ready?"

"Yes, human I have the coordinates! it will look like we used that thing called Floo. Choi Han will come out first then You and me will follow!"

"I'm ready as well."

"Let go then!"

"Enjoy your Trip Young master."

"...Yes"

"Raon."

"Ok, Human here we Go.!!"

________________________________________________________________________
Cale stumbled out of the fireplace with as much elegance as he could. Spoiler if Choi Han had not been there to stabilize him then well he would have face-planted. Looking around though this place did seem to be a government building. It was filled with people.

-Human there is a lot of mana here. Every human seems to have a bit of it in their blood. Not as much as the mages back home but a bit more than a normal human.....

"Cale there that desk over there seems to be the one that Oliver told us to do to."

Choi Han said still holding onto Cale's arm. Cale just nodded and started his way toward the desk labeled security.

"Hello, welcome to the Ministry of Magic my name is Grace. Please state your name and your reason for visitation."

The women at the desk didn't even glance up at them and just started talking. She looked run dead. Cale could not blame her for not caring. So he just started talking.

"Hello Grace, My name is Cale Henituse...,"

That got her to snap her head up with a shocked expression. Not the Cale would notice he was too busy looking through the book he brought in case the trial got boring. Choi Han saw it though and was busy trying to to laugh at the shock on the poor lady's face.

"....this is Choi Han, my guard. I am here in place of my father for the Wixengamot trial that is in 35 minutes. As I have never been to Britain's Ministry I have no idea where to go"

Grace took a few seconds before the situation seemed to click in her brain and she slowly shifted back to professionalism.

"Ah Yes, Heir H.Henituse. I will have someone come guide you to courtroom 10 if you would wait a few minutes."

She seemed a bit scared when she said Cale had to wait but she relaxed at what he said after. Cale also chooses to ignore this. He was going to ignore everything.......

"Thank you, Miss Grace."

They didn't wait long before a man rushed forward to Grace and spoke with her for a few minutes before turning to Cale.

"Hello, Heir Henituse. My name is Percy Weasley. The minister ordered me to guide you to the courtroom as he is currently organizing his thoughts before heading there himself."

"Thank you, Mister Weasley," Cale responded. This one seemed to be a relative of Bill. Though Cale does not trust easily. He was sure that he would be able to get to the courtroom on time.

"Follow me please."

With that, the two followed behind Percy. It was quite the route. Raon on Cale's neck was chatting about all the magic that was used and how it worked based on what he studied. Raon was a very smart dragon.

"Here we are. Your seat will be to the left up the stairs to the top. Your guard may request a chair to be placed beside yours if you wish."

Percy spoke as they entered a room. It was quite spacious and looked like it was a courtroom room alright. There were already quite a few people. In the center of the room was a chair. Cale assumed that to be where the defendant was made to sit. In front of the chair was a black podium where Cale assumed the minister would sit. Behind the podium were rows of seats. Quite a few people were wearing red robes. It almost looked like a cult. Cale pushed that thought aside and assumed that those people worked for the ministry's judicial system.

To the left were more rows of seats but instead of the seats being right next to each other, there were large spaces between each chair. Each chair had a small desk in front of it with a name placed on it.

"Thank you, Percy....," Cale nodded toward the boy then mumbled, "This should be entertaining."

Cale did not see Percy pale. He had already started walking up the stairs to where he could see Henituse on the desk. His chair was the highest and had no other chairs to his right or left. It seems that the world had made the Henituses quite powerful.

Cale was almost to the chair when a man stepped in front of him.

"This is not a place for children. Who are you and Why are you stepping up these stairs."

The man had platinum blond hair. A Malfoy. Most likely Lucius Malfoy. He seemed to be the wrong sort of noble. Cale disliked these people quite a bit. And Well he was trash. There was no need to be polite. He released just a bit less than 0.1% of his Dominating aura out. It was fine at act a bit rude, wasn't it?

-Human how dare that human look at you like that!!! I want to kill him...

Raon was not happy. Cale needed to hurry and leave so the young dragon did not reveal himself.

"Lord Malfoy. Hm, My name is Cale Henituse and I was trying to get to my chair. It seems that you are in my way. Would you move?"

The room seemed to have quieted at that moment. Cale did not know but everyone in that room turned to him at that moment. They all heard what he said and seemed to pale a bit. The Henituse family had not been in Britain for a while. They did not know what to expect from this child who had such an aura. Did the Henituse family send their son to observe and report on the situation within Britain? Did they think that the Dark Lord was back?

"Cale H..Hen..Henituse...." Lucius Malfoy seemed to have gone a bit pale... Cale almost smiled. He stopped his aura.

"Yes, that's right. I'm here in place of my Father."

Lord Malfoy seemed to catch sight of his earring and paled even further. Malfoy seemed to compose himself after a few moments.

"Ahem.. I see. My apologies." He said as he moved back to his seat.

The People in the room quickly turned back to their conversations. It would do them not good to be in this boy's attention.

Cale glanced at him once more. Then started walking again. Once he made it to his chair he sank into it. It was surprisingly quite comfortable. He looked around. Nobody else seemed to paying him much attention.

"Choi Han, would you like a seat?"

Cale did not know how long this trial was going to take. Choi Han might not want to stand for that long.

"No, I i think ill stand." Choi Han said glancing at some of the people still watching.

Many people pale even more. That guard did not think that his Heir was safe for him to sit. 'This was not good'

"hmm, Ok." Cale did not notice this at all. He opened his book and began to read about the laws of the British Wizarding World.

After a few minutes, the door slammed open. Cornelius Fudge, the Minister, walked into the room.

Notes:

Cale took one look a Lord Malfoy.

Cale: What a bitch

Chapter 6: Some World Building

Summary:

some world building before i go to the next chapter.

Chapter Text

The International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy.

1. The monarch of England and 14 other commonwealth realms know of wizards and upon their rise to power they must look over signs and meet with the minister of magic and or a wixen official.
2. The Statute stated that each government was responsible for hiding the presence of the magical community in their own country. Each Ministry was held responsible for, among other things, the control of magical beasts, curbing public displays of underage magic, and ensuring that magical games and sports were played without risk of discovery.
3. Each wizarding governing body will be responsible for the concealment, care, and control of all magical beasts, beings, and spirits dwelling within its territory's borders. Should any such creature cause harm to, or draw the notice of, the Muggle community, that nation's wizarding governing body will be subject to discipline by the International Confederation of Wizards.
4. When mingling with Muggles, wizards, and witches will adopt an entirely Muggle standard of dress, which will conform as closely as possible to the fashion of the day. Clothing must be appropriate to the climate, the geographical region, and the occasion. Nothing self-altering or adjusting is to be worn in front of Muggles.
5. Should a Witch or Wizard have blood related muggle family they may disclose the wizarding world to them. Should a Witch or Wizard marry a muggle they may disclose the wizarding world to them.
ect.....

Here are the Creature nations i came up with.

Cale will be meeting the Queen of England....... They will have tea together....

Anyway...

The Goblin Nation:
King Ragnok
they have a branch of the world tree.

There are three major Tribes or Chans of elves.

Elves were second to only dragons with their connection to nature. They can use mana and some have contracts with elemental spirits. Because all dragons are in a state of berserk elves are now the creature with the strongest connection to nature.

Elves do not like the Magical community and the Magical community is afraid of the elves. The magic that wizards and witches perform is too weak to harm elves.

In the past, some children elves were kidnapped and experimented on by some magical. They created house elves out of those children. They created House Elves. That is why house elves rely on the magic of the wizard under contract.

The Elves punished the magicians who did this but were not able to save the children who were experimented on.

1. The Forest Elf's major Clan
Elysian(relating to or characteristic of heaven or paradise.) Elven tribe.

King Oliver Dendrophile.

They are the largest and strongest Elven tribe. They live mostly in Europe, Asia, and North and South America. They typicaly take of the appearance of the nature around them. They usually have normally colored hair. Occasionally an Elf is born with colorful hair or eyes. But the norm is a green, blue, brown, black, or beige-based color palette.

They are the closest to wizarding folks and it is their job to make sure that the wixen do not harm the no-maj and that they do not harm any magical creatures. This used to be the dragon's job but because of the wixens rendering all dragons in a state of berserk, they were made to take over the job.

They are the guardians of the World Tree and Henituse family.

2. Desert Tribe:
The Ifrit Elven Tribe.

King Blaze Hygge.

The largest desert tribe. They live in the hottest areas around the world. Mostly in Africa.
They have a branch of the world tree.

They also help the Forest elves with protecting creatures but are a bit two hot-tempered to deal with magicals.

3. Ice Tribe.
The Isolde Elven Tribe.

King Snyoralfur Apricity.

The largest tribe of ice elves. They have a branch of the world tree as well. They live in all the cold places. The tops of mountains, in the Arctic, North and South poles, ect..

They also help the Forest elves with protecting creatures but tend to only send reports on what is happening in their areas and do not mess with any outsiders.

Other creature kingdoms/ nations

The Kingdom of Tempest.

Queen Lialith Birsha is a female vampire.

This is a kingdom welcome to all creatures. They are in charge of handling all the criminals of the creature nations. They are known for being the best place and the worst place on earth. There have only been 10 humans who have been allowed to visit/ live in this kingdom.

The Nation of Neraida

King Phaos is a Fairy.

This is a Fairy nation. They also have a branch of the world tree. They are in charge of keeping the no-maj unaware of most magical creatures. Fires are the most mana-charged creatures. They can do anything if they can think of it. Of course, there are laws.

These all together represent the United Foundation of Creatures or UFC
________________________________

There is a peace agreement between the UFC and the Major rulers of the world in both the magical and nonmagical communities.

Most wizards fear the creatures because of their powers but still believe them to be below them.

Cornelius Fudge. He seemed like an insecure but powerful man to Cale. Cale thought that if he was confidant in himself he would be a much better minister. However, Considering where they were and the circumstances behind it. Fudge was not a smart or good minister.

Cale watched him scan the room slowly making his way to meet Cale eyes. The man regarded Cale for a moment before looking away. It seemed as though he was dismissing Cale.

Cale would ignore him back.....

-Human...I'm bored. What do I do? Can I sleep?

"Sure you can Raon. Just rest it should be over soon."

______

It was five minutes after the set time that a boy came through the door. Cale was almost visibly shocked.

The boy, Harry Potter Cale assumed, looked to be 14 even though he was 15. He was noticeably skinny and looked so pale Cale was worried that he might blow over in the wind.

What was even worse was the fact that the boy walked through the door alone. No child should have to face a trial alone.

A cold male voice rang across the courtroom.

“You’re late.”

“Sorry,” said the boy's voice was shaky “I — I didn’t know the time had been changed.”

Cale wanted to wrap this boy in a hug and protect him from all the horrors of this world.

-Human... that human is strong. Almost as strong as the Creepy Goblin King.

That did bring visible surprise to Cale's face. This boy was that strong even tho he was visibly weakened. Cale almost didn't want to know how powerful he would be.

“That is not the Wizengamot’s fault,” said the voice. “An owl was sent to you this morning. Take your seat.”

Cale was sure that an owl was not sent until the last second. These bastards.

"Tch.." Choi Han was gripping the hilt of his sword that rested on his waist.

Cale gulped. It seemed that he wasn't the only one unhappy with this situation.

Cale watched Harry walk and sit on the chair in the middle of the room.

“Very well,” said Fudge. “The accused being present - finally - let us begin. Are you ready?” he called.

“Yes, sir,” said an eager voice Cale recognized as Percy. He was sitting at the very end of the front bench. Percy’s eyes, behind his horn-rimmed glasses, were fixed on his parchment, a quill poised in his hand. Cale did not like this boy anymore. The absolute indifference in that boy's eyes did not sit well with him.

“Disciplinary hearing of the twelfth of August,” said Fudge in a ringing voice, and Percy began taking notes at once, “into offenses committed under the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery and the International Statute of Secrecy by Harry James Potter, resident at number four, Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey."

“Interrogators: Cornelius Oswald Fudge, Minister for Magic; Amelia Susan Bones, Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement; Dolores Jane Umbridge (Ik Ik I wish I could sensor her all together but she is important to the story.), Senior Undersecretary to the Minister. Court Scribe, Percy Ignatius Weasley -”

At that moment the door unexpectedly burst open. This resulted in Cale flinching, Raon waking with murderous intent, and Choi Han pulling half his sword out ready for battle.

“Witness for the defense, Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore,” said a booming voice from the man striding across the courtroom.

This Albus Dumbledore was striding serenely across the room wearing the most obnoxious long midnight-blue robes Cale had ever seen. To the normal eye, the man had a perfectly calm expression. But Cale could see what he thought to be a furious look in his eyes. The look disappeared just as fast as it showed.

Harry seemed almost relieved by the man's presence but there was still a tense set in his shoulders that seemed to be there without the boy's knowledge.

"It's alright Choi Han. He seems to be here to help." Cale mumbled.

Choi Han reluctantly put his sword back into its sheath. For some reason the man set of alarms in his head. But He was weaker than him. If they were to fight Choi Han was sure that he would win even without his sword out.

“Ah,” said Fudge, who looked thoroughly disconcerted. “Dumbledore. Yes. You - er - got our –
er - message that the time and -er - place of the hearing had been changed, then?”

It was quite funny to see the man so flustered. It almost made Cale want to trust this man.

“I must have missed it,” said Dumbledore cheerfully…”However, due to a lucky mistake, I arrived at the Ministry three hours early, so no harm done.”

Cale was back to not trusting him. He was sure that Dumbledore either got a message or he predicted this was going to happen. Either way, he could have made sure Harry was on time.

“Yes - well - I suppose we’ll need another chair - I - Weasley, could you -?” Fudge was back to being flustered.

“Not to worry, not to worry,” said Dumbledore pleasantly; he took out his wand, gave it a little flick and a squashy chintz armchair appeared out of nowhere next to Harry. Dumbledore sat down, put the tips of his long fingers together, and surveyed Fudge over them with an expression of polite interest. Cale did not believe that expression at all. His eyes seemed to be quite mad. The people around Cale were still muttering and fidgeting restlessly; only when Fudge spoke again did they settle down.

“Yes,” said Fudge again, shuffling his notes. “Well, then. So. The charges. Yes.”

He extricated a piece of parchment from the pile before him, took a deep breath, and read out,
“the charges against the accused are as follows: That he did knowingly, deliberately, and in full awareness of the illegality of his actions, having received a previous written warning from the Ministry of Magic on a similar charge, produce a Patronus Charm in a Muggle-inhabited area, in the presence of a Muggle, on the second of August at twenty-three minutes past nine, which constitutes an offense under Paragraph C of the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery, 1875, and also under Section 13 of the International Confederation of Warlocks’ Statute of Secrecy."

Cale frowned a bit at the charges. Punishment for underaged magic he understood. But in the presence of a muggle, he did not understand. Who was this muggle? Was it a friend? Why did Harry feel the need to perform a Patronus charm? There were too many unanswered questions.

“You are Harry James Potter, of number four, Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey?” Fudge said, glaring at Harry over the top of his parchment.

“Yes,” Harry said.

“You received an official warning from the Ministry for using illegal magic three years ago, did you not?”

“Yes, but -”

“And yet you conjured a Patronus on the night of the second of August?” said Fudge.

“Yes,” said Harry, “but -”

“Knowing that you are not permitted to use magic outside school while you are under the age of seventeen?”

“Yes, but -”

“Knowing that you were in an area full of Muggles?”

“Yes, but -”

Cale was getting a bit annoyed at the people in this room. They were not giving the boy any time to actually answer. Why was this Dumbledore not helping?

“Fully aware that you were near a Muggle at the time?”

“Yes,” said Harry angrily, “but I only used it because we were -”

The witch with the monocle cut across him in a booming voice.

“You produced a fully-fledged Patronus?” Cale assumed this to be Mrs Bones.

“Yes,” said Harry, “because -”

“A corporeal Patronus?”

“A - what?” said Harry.

“Your Patronus had a clearly defined form? I mean to say, it was more than vapour or smoke?”

“Yes,” said Harry, the boy sounded both impatient and slightly desperate, “it’s a stag, it’s always a stag.”

Cale could understand what he was feeling and was this close to interrupting the trial instead. His patience was running thin.

“Always?” boomed Madam Bones. “You have produced a Patronus before now?”

Why were they asking that and not why did Harry feel the need to use the Patronus Charm? Every Person in this room deserved to stub their toes over and over again. Cale could almost feel the rage that Choi Han was feeling. It was like a heater was looming over his back.

“Yes,” said Harry, “I’ve been doing it for over a year.”

“And you are fifteen years old?”

“Yes, and -”

“You learned this at school?”

For goodness sake get to the fucking point...

“Yes, Professor Lupin taught me in my third year, because of the -”

“Impressive,” said Madam Bones, staring down at him, “a true Patronus at his age… very impressive indeed.”

Some of the wizards and witches around her were muttering again; a few nodded, but others were frowning and shaking their heads.

“It’s not a question of how impressive the magic was,” said Fudge in a testy voice, “in fact, the more impressive the worse it is, I would have thought, given that the boy did it in plain view of a Muggle!”

Those who had been frowning now murmured in agreement. Cale had enough of this sorry excuse of a trial.

Cale cleared his throat. The room silenced immediately. Everyone in the courtroom turned to look at him.

"Hmm, Excuse me. What is this trial about exactly?" Cale asked in a condescending voice. "I have not heard a single reason that the entire Wixengamot is hear. I have also not heard you allowing the boy to explain himself. Why are you not asking why he performed a Patronus Charm, which is one of the most powerful DEFENSIVE spell? I have not heard you ask who the muggle was that he performed magic in front of. Is this the state of Britain's Ministry of Magic? "

Cale made sure to look like he was writing at that moment. Every single person in the room was looking at him with wide eyes. It was funny to see that Fudge could get so flustered that he could blend into Cale's hair.

"It is my understanding that according to the Statute of Secrecy if the muggle is of blood relation to Heir Potter then your claim that he broke the SS is unreasonable. If he performed magic because something was going to harm him and the muggle then we have no reason to be here today. Clause Seven of the Decree states that magic may be used before Muggles in exceptional circumstances, and as those exceptional circumstances include situations that threaten the life of the wizard or witch him - or herself, or any witches, wizards, or Muggles present at the time the magic was used. It would be quite easy for you to use Legilimency to view the memory of the event if Heir Potter consents. Why are we wasting our morning in this courtroom?"

It seemed that Cale had shocked every single person in that courtroom to the point of silence. Nobody made a move to speak. It was annoying.

If the Minister can't do his job properly Cale might as well do it himself.

"Heir Potter, who was the muggle you were with? Why did you use magic?" Cale softly asked after turning to look at Harry.

"Umm I-It was my cousin Dudley. I used magic because there were um Dementors attacking us." Harry took a few moments before answering. Cale was patient tho.

Now this statement shocked the whole room back into murmurs. The idea of dementors attacking Harry seemed quite surprising. Aren't dementors controlled by the Ministry?

“Dementors?” said Mrs Bones after a moment, her eyebrows rising until her monocle looked in danger of falling out. “What do you mean, boy?”

Why do they keep calling him boy? Don't they know how to properly address someone?

"Mrs Bones, shouldn't you be asking how dementors in Little Whinging?" Cale once again took control of the courtroom. He could not see it but behind his back, Choi Han was staring down everyone with a harsh glare.

Fudge seemed to finally regain his composure.

Fudge. “This is nonsense....! L-Let me explain. He’s been thinking it through and decided Dementors would make a very nice little cover story, very nice indeed. Muggles can’t see Dementors, can they, boy? Highly convenient, highly convenient… so it’s just your word and no witnesses…”

“I’m not lying!” said Harry loudly, over another outbreak of muttering from the court. “There were two of them, coming from opposite ends of the alley, everything went dark and cold and my cousin felt them and ran for it -” he sounded right fully pissed.

“Enough, enough!” said Fudge, with a very supercilious look on his face. “I’m sorry to interrupt what I’m sure would have been a very well-rehearsed story -"

"Why do you keep addressing an Heir as boy Minister? I believe I have already stated that we can easily bring up the memory if Heir Potter consents. If he is lying that is it will be very easy to prove rather than relying on Hearsay." Cale spoke again. Rendering the room silent once again.

"Heir Potter, Do you consent for your memory of the event to be viewed?" Cale asked once again in the softest voice he could manage with the annoyance that was passing through his veins.

" Y-Yes I do consent." Harry hurriedly agreed before anything else could be said. He was no longer relying on Dumbledore. He was relying solely on Cale now.

It took a bit but they did watch the memories. It was just as Harry said. Two dementors attacked him and his cousin.

"I do believe that this trial is over. I also believe that there will be an investigation into why there were two dementors in a muggle neighborhood. Right?"

Cale saw the relief flood through Harry's body. He seemed to finally be able to breathe.

"I believe you are right. Though you have not introduced yourself yet. You look to be quite young." Mrs Bones spoke up when it was clear that no one else was. She seemed quite scared asking who he was. Just how much power did the Henituse family have that she was scared?

"Ah yes, my name is Heir Cale Henituse. I am here in place of my father Lord Henituse. I will be attending my 5th year at Hogwarts this year."

Well, that seemed to also shock everyone. How did a 15-year-old child know all that information about the law?

"I do believe we can send Heir Potter home now. He has no reasonable charges against him that are keeping him in this courtroom. "

“Yes, I agree. Those in favor of clearing the witness of all charges?” said Madam Bones in a commanding voice.

Only 3 hands remained down. Fudges, Percy Weasley's, and a witch that looked like a toad.

Fudge glanced around at them all, looking as though there was something large stuck in his throat. He took two deep breaths and said, in a voice distorted by suppressed rage, “Very well, very well… cleared of all charges.”

“Excellent," Cale said resting his chin in his palm. He glanced at Dumbledore who seemed almost equally as enraged as Fudge as he swept from the room without so much as looking at Harry. It seemed that the court did not go according to his plans either. It made Cale smile a sweet smile. It made a few people flinch.

The Wizengamot finally started to move. Getting to their feet, talking, gathering up their paper,s and packing them away. Cale noticed Harry was still in that awful chair. He glanced around looking like a confused puppy. So Cale stood up and started walking back down the stairs toward him. Choi Han was following behind him. No one got in his way this time. Though almost all of them lowered their heads a bit when he passed by. Cale ignored them.

Once Cale got to the bottom Harry seemed to have noticed the fact that Cale was walking toward him. He looked quite nervous. So Cale put on an easy smile and introduced himself.

"Hello Heir Potter, my name is Cale Henituse but please call me Cale. His is Choi Han. Oh, this lovely one here is Raon."

Raon had pounced from Cale's neck to Harry. The boy had good reflexes as he caught the cat without much difficulty. He started to pet Raon without much thought and it seemed to relax him so Cale let Raon stay with the boy.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Harry Potter. Please call me Harry. Um... Thank you for what you did during the trial. I didn't know half of what you were talking about." Harry nervously blurted out whatever came to mind.

He didn't know why but he felt like he could place all his trust in this person. It felt as if this person could help him with anything and everything. It almost felt as if he had known this person all his life. He had never felt like this toward someone before.

"Harry, I do believe that you can leave now. Would you like to walk out with me? I don't think anyone will bother you if I walk you out."

"Uu. That would be great." Harry visibly brightened when he said that. He was glad he could finally get out of this suffocating room.

"Well, that was a spectacle. I do hope to see you at school." Cale spoke as they walked out the door.

"You will be coming to Hogwarts this year? Where were you before?"

"Oh, I was a sickly child growing up so I was homeschooled with Choi Han and Beacrox, my guards. My parents wanted me to go to a real school for a year so I'm coming to Hogwarts."

"Oh, what house do you think you will be in?" Harry asked curious.

"Me, Slytherin, I am quite ambitious and cunning. I think Beacrox will be in Slytherin as well. But Choi Han is 100% a Gryffindor."

Harry shrank away a bit when Cale said he would probably be in Slytherin. It confused him quite a bit. The next question answered his curiosity.

"Aren't Slytherins evil?"

"Hmm. I don't think so. Who told you that? I mean I don't think that a house will make you evil. It's more of who the person is that makes someone evil. I am sure there are people from every house that are evil. Saying that an entire house is evil is like saying that an entire bloodline must be evil because one relative is a murderer." Cale thought it best to change some of this boy's opinions.

"Huh... That makes sense. I would not call my friend a killer if his brother killed someone. Wow, you have a way with words Cale." Harry still looked like a puppy to Cale. So he ended up smiling a real smile.

Choi Han and Harry were both blinded.

"Well, Harry there seems to be someone waiting for you. I hope to see you at school." Cale said as a goodbye. Harry walked way happier than he had been in weeks. He didn't care what house Cale was in. He just wanted to be his friend.

"Yeah, I'll find you on the train!" Harry said with a smile. He handed Raon back to Cale before dashing off to meet another ginger who was waiting a bit away from the entrance to the courtroom.

Cale waved him off with a smile.

-Human, I like that small human. We should be friends with him. I found that bad magic in him though. It seemed to be in the scar on his forehead. I put a bit of protective magic on him so the bad magic wouldn't mess with his head.

"Good job," Cale mumbled, "You ready to head back Choi Han?"

"Yes Cale, I don't think we are needed here any longer."

"Good. I know the way back. Follow me. Let's go home."

Chapter Text

Dear Readers.

I love a good Slytherin Harry Fic but I'm stuck on whether or not to change his house. I think Choi Han and him would work well together in the same house.

What do you guys think?

Also, I need like insult ideas for Umbridge.

I'm going to write her pretty annoying and yes she will still be harming students.

I think Cale will get a Crow to carry his letters.

Crows are amazing and smart animals. One crow = an army of crows ready to fight for you.

Any ideas that you guys might want in the story?

This is the place to write them.

Chapter 9: Diagon Alley

Chapter Text

Harry's POV.

“I knew it!” yelled Ron, punching the air. “You always get away with stuff!”

“They were bound to clear you,” said Hermione, who had looked positively faint with anxiety when Harry had entered the kitchen and was now holding a shaking hand over her eyes, “there was no case against you, none at all.”

“Everyone seems quite relieved, though, considering you all knew I’d get off,” said Harry, smiling even though he was upset with them at the moment. If they wouldn't bring up that they were sorry for ignoring him all summer he would ignore it as well.

Mrs. Weasley was wiping her face on her apron, and Fred, George, and Ginny were doing a kind of war dance to a chant that went: “He got off, he got off, he got off…”

It was quite funny...

“He got off, he got off, he got off…”

“Be quiet, you three!” Mrs Weasley shouted a bit. Harry had to repress a flinch. He had to keep reminding himself that not every adult he was around was going to hit him.

“He got off, he got off, he got off…” They were still going. It brought a huge smile to his face.

Fred, George, and Ginny had apologies ages ago and said they would do anything to make it up to him. Harry just told them to not worry about it. They were still doing everything they could to see him actually smile though.

“That’s enough - Fred - George - Ginny!” said Mrs. Weasley, as Mr. Weasley left the kitchen.

“Harry, dear, come and sit down, have some lunch, you hardly ate breakfast.”

Ron and Hermione sat themselves down opposite him, looking happier than they had done since he had first arrived at Grimmauld Place, and Harry’s feeling of giddy relief swelled again. The gloomy house seemed warmer and more welcoming all of a sudden; even Kreacher looked less ugly as he poked his snout-like nose into the kitchen to investigate the source of all the noise.
“Course, once Dumbledore turned up on your side, there was no way they were going to convict you,” said Ron happily, now dishing great mounds of mashed potatoes onto everyone’s plates.

“Um, Dumbledore didn't even talk. Someone else stood up and spoke for me,” said Harry. He felt it would sound highly ungrateful, not to mention childish, to say. He wanted to shout and scream at Dumbledore. If a kid his age could control a courtroom better than an adult why didn't Dumbledore say something?

"Not Dumbledore? Who was it then?" Ron asked. Hermione and Him looked genuinely confused. Like something didn't go as planned. Harry brushed the unsettling feeling in his stomach away.

"He said his name was Cale. He was pretty cool and called everyone out on their utter stupidity." Harry said. He wanted to brag about his new friend a bit but didn't know how much information he should give to the two. Everything he says to them always ends up back to Dumbledore.

"Huh? I've never heard of him. Anyway! What class are you most excited for mione?" Ron rushed through his words a bit. Harry doubted the two hear of Cale. He did say he was home school.

Harry turned the two out and thought about how excited he was to make a new friend.

____

The letter with the list of supplies needed came only a week after the Trial. It contained all the books they needed what courses they were taking and a permission slip that Ron had to sign in place of the parents.

Cale had found a Hogwarts rule book in his room a read all of it. It does not say that students could not carry weapons so he gave Choi Han and Beacrox the all-clear to pack as many weapons as they pleased.

It also stated in the rule book that there was no limit to how many pets you brought as long as you took care of them. Cale did not have a messaging bird and he wanted to get that before school. They agreed that if Beacrox or Choi Han needed to write something Cale would do it for them.

Cale was a bit nervous about the size of the school. From what he read it was a castle. There was not a single map he could find of the place. It was unnerving...Like all the maps made of the place had been destroyed.

He did find a map of Diagon Ally, the place recommended for students to get their school supplies. Raon, On, and Hong were all excited by the fact that they were going to a school even though they weren't allowed to go as a student. Cale promised that if they wanted to read his school books they could. Cale did ask Oliver to mail the headmaster of Hogwarts to request that all Choi Han and Beacrox had scheduled to where one of the guards was with Cale if the other was not there. It was so their story would make sense.

Cale didn't have any more visions of Horcruxes. He instead had small visions, Beacrox turning the corner with 10 knives in his hand, Cale turned around and went back to his room. There was no need for water. He stoped fainting when he had the visions too. Choi Han said that he would just stare off into space for a bit before returning to normal.

The children were playing with some elves in the woods around the manor so Cale decided to just go with Ron, Beacrox, and Choi Han. It would be a quick trip with Ron getting all their supplies while Cale and his group explored. Cale told Ron that he would buy an Owl or some thing and not to bother with it.

"Young Master, are you ready?" Ron asked

"..Yes .." The Butler had a 'sweat' smile on his face.

"Alright let us go. Gringotts Bank" Ron said into the ring portkey

________________________________________________________________________
They ended up in Knarlak's, who was doing paperwork, office.

"May your coffers overflow with rubies and gold! Hello Physis how may I help you today."

"Ah, May your enemies fall beneath your blade. We are just passing through today." Cale said with a small polite smile.

......Everyone was indeed blinded. Except for Beacrox, who had somehow obtained sunglasses and had put them on. They really should be used to it by now...

"I assume you are here for your school supplies. It's about that time. Is Lord Molan going to be shopping? "

The Goblin was quite observant. It made Cale smile again.

"Yes. The others and I will just be exploring."

Cale was a bit excited to see everything there was. He could tell the Choi Hand and Beacrox, even though he knew how to hide it well, were just as excited.

"Then I will give Lord Molan this card. Hand it to the worker and they will know what to do. I will give you, Physis a limitless money pouch. Think about the money you need. Stick your hand in and the amount you thought of will come out. I wish you well on your adventure."

Cale eyes sparkled as he was handed the pouch. It was limited. It was like a golden plague!

Cale people flinched at the smile that graced them. They all glanced away finding their surroundings far more interesting than whatever plan Cale was hatching in his brain.

"Well, we must be going. Thank you for your help Knarlak." Ron said grabbing Cale before he could do anything causing Cale to scoule a bit.

"It's been my pleasure. The goblin outside the door will lead you to our exit. I hope Diagon Ally is a exciting as you wish it to be." Knarlak called out as they walked through the door.

As he said a goblin with blue eyes guided them to the door. It opened to a busy street and Cale almost regretted coming out.

While Cale was contemplating his life choices the other three were having a conversation with their eyes.

'Don't let the Young Master run off on his own. Meet back here in 2 hours.'

'You don't need to tell me.' Choi Han rolls his eyes.

'Yes, Father.'

"Have fun Young Master. Don't cause any trouble." Ron said with a vicious smile as he walked away leaving behind a dumbfounded Cale.

'Trouble? Why would I cause such a useless thing'

"Young Master, I think I see a pet shop down there. Should we go?" Beacrox pulled Cale out from his internal rant about his slacker life and why he would do no such thing as cause trouble.

"Hmm, yes we should go. Are the two of you still fine with just one bird?" Cale asked. He had enough money that if they wanted one it would be no problem.

"Yes, I don't need an animal to take care of. " Beacrox said deadpan. He was on Cale's left had a hand on Cale's back and was guiding him through the crowd.

"I'm sure as well! Young Master-nim." Choi Han was on his right not allowing anyone to get to close to Cale.

Cale was of course completely oblivious to this as he was thinking through all the information he had read about magical birds. Raon did not like owls too much so those were out of the question. He had to get a bird to use at Hogwarts because Oliver had offered him to use one of the phoenixes that the elves use.

Unbeknown to Cale he was gaining quite a bit of attention from the surrounding people.

"Wow, Mom is that a fairy?"

"I have never seen someone so good-looking! Who is that boy?"

Ect...

There were quite a lot of whispers.

Cale just continued into the pet shop, Finn's Magical Creatures, in his own world.

"Welc-....Welcome to Finn's Magical Creatures. Feel free to look around and please let me know if you need something." A witch stammered out. Cale thought she might be a bit sick. She looked quite red.

"Thank you," Cale said as he walked deeper into the store. He passed by cats, snakes, toads, and spiders before he got to the birds in the store. There were quite a few owls.

But what caught his attention was a large black crow in the furthest corner of the store. Its eyes were purely white and Cale would have thought the bird blind if not for the fact that it tracked his movements. Cale watched it watch him. It seemed to study Cale for a moment before flying up and toward him.

Cale stuck out his wrist and the crow landed softly and lightly. It seemed to carefully wrap its claws around Cale's thin wrist. The Crow was about the size of Raon but weighed almost nothing compared to the young dragon

"Wow, I've never seen him act this way before. He usually ignores everyone who comes in." the witch spoke from behind Cale almost causing him to jump.

He didn't know she had followed. But he felt completely safe with Choi Han and Beacrox behind him as well. When he turned to look at her she seemed quite dumbfounded.

"Does he have a name? I would like to take him home." The way Cale said those words left no room for argument. Crows were the most intelligent type of bird. They recognized faces and gossiped amongst each other. It would be quite a good companion to have. For some reason, Choi Han was smiling

"He does not have a name. You can buy him for 10 galleons, it would be 20 if you want to buy a cage and the other stuff we recommend with a bird."

The crow, seemingly understanding that Cale needed his hand back, jumped up and landed again on Cale's shoulder.

'20 galleons' Cale thought as he put his hand in the money pouch. His eyes sparkled as he felt the money formed in his hand. He pulled the money out and handed it to Beacrox's waiting hands.

Beacrox left with the witch toward the counter. While Cale nudged the crow back to his wrist. Cale studied the crow for a bit. It seemed like to crow studied him back.

"Hmm. I'll give you the name Azrael. " Cale finally said. He reached up a stoked the crow's black feathers. The Crow made a cooing sound and looked quite happy to Cale.

"Young master, we are finished here. Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah, I named him Azrael. He'll be our messenger from now on. Treat him well." Cale said with a smile at the preening crow.

Choi Han and Beacrox both smiled and patted the crow. It seemed they would get along.

"Let go now," Cale said as the crow jumped up to his shoulder. It seemed that it would be there for a bit.

As Cale walked out of the store the witch spoke again.

"Thank you for coming. " Oddly enough she bowed toward Cale. He once again ignored it.

"Let's explore for a bit!" Choi Han excitedly said as they walked away from the store.

No one noticed the way the witch's ears seemed to elongate into points and then fade back to normal. Nor did they notice that she was bowing deep enough that it would mean she was bowing to royalty.

________________________________________________________________________

After about an hour of Cale getting dragged around by Choi Han and Beacrox following, Cale was exhausted and quite hungry. He did say he wanted to get street food but Beacrox looked at him like he grew two heads.

So they were heading toward a nice-looking café, Rosa Lee Teabag. It looked fine to Cale so he let himself be guided through the crowded street.

"We-Welcome to Rosa Lee Teabag! Would you like a table inside or outside?" This witch also looked quite sick in Cale's opinion. She was quite red. Was it the wixen World cold season or something?

"A seat inside please." Choi Han responded before Cale could. It seemed to be a cold response for Choi Han but Cale could be imagining things.

"Ok! Follow me please." They were led to a booth at the back of the Café. It was quite full. Thankfully there was a booth for them.

"I'll be back to take your orders in a few moments."

A few moments later they ordered, well Beacrox order for everyone, and got their tea and snacks. The cookies were good.

Cale was to busy studying Azrael to notice the two boys who came toward their booth until Choi Han called him.

"Cale-nim"

"Hmm"

"We have quests?"

"Huh?"

Looking back at Choi Han he noticed the two boys that we only a few steps from their booth. Cale frowned. What could these boys want? Both of the boys had unimpressed looks on their faces but their eyes screamed curiosity. One of the boys had a darker skin tone. He had dark brown eyes and curly brown hair. The other had tan skin, brown hair, and blue eyes. They both seemed to be Cale's age.

"Hello, My name is Blaize Zabini. This is Theodore Nott. We couldn't help but notice you and your group. You seem to be our age but we have never seen you before?"

Blaize and Theo were doing their yearly cafe check-up. Updating each other with the things they couldn't put into letters when the group of three walked it. It almost felt like time stopped for everyone. Everyone quieted down and turned their focus to the red-haired teen who walked in. For some reason, Blaize felt the need to kneel. Looking at Theo he could tell the other felt the same. Once the red-haired teen sat down it felt like he could breath again.

Just who was this person?

"Hello, My name is Cale Henituse. This is Choi Han and Beacrox." Cale said dismissively. He did not know who these kids were or why they were talking with him.

He just wanted to eat his cookies in peace.

Theo was in shock. Ok, understand that before him was the same teen that his father said controlled a court of noble wizards and witches like it was nothing. In front of him was the teenager who interrupted the Minister and got away with it because the minister could not prove him wrong. In front of him was the person whom his father told him to make allies with because of the magical aura he released in the courtroom.

"Henituse? " Theodore was all he could push out.

"Hm, Yes that is my last name. Would you like a cookie?" If they weren't going to leave him alone might as well make them eat so he could eat.

"uhhh sure," Blaize said dumbly.

"Well sit down. " Cale responded pointing to the places by Choi Han, who went up and moved to his right. "Here" Cale gave them each a cookie before grabbing another on himself.

Both boys were openly gaping now and Choi Han and Beacrox were trying not to laugh. Azrael studied the two boys before turning back to Cale for more pats.

"So, What house are you in and how is Hogwarts? We are going there this year and I have no idea what to expect."

Theodore seemed to get control of his brain first, "Well we are both in Slytherin. Hogwarts is great, there is a bit of prejudice and most of the teachers favor one house over the others. However, there are plenty of places to read unbothered and places to go. I think it is a great school." The truth just seemed to slip out. It felt that if he lied to this person he would know right away. Blaize was nodding his head along as well.

"Young master, it is past the time Ron set for us." Beacrox interrupted the conversation right before Cale was going to ask the boys to explain.

"Oh. We should be going then. It was nice meeting you both. I'm sure we will see each other again on the train." Cale did not want to die by being late and worrying Ron.

Azrael jumped off his shoulder and they were walking out.

"Wow," Blaize whispered once Cale left the cafe. "He has more of a presence than my mother."

Theo chuckled back still staring at where he left, "Hogwarts isn't going to know what hit it. I can't wait for this school year."

Cale did not get murdered by his assassin butler but it was a close call.

"I'm assuming you had fun Young Master."

"Ah yes."

Chapter Text

Getting sent off to a boarding school by Ron and Eruhaben was not on Cale's bucket list. The only thing on his bucket list was to become a Slacker. And Cale could not figure out what in the world went so wrong. He still does not have a slacker life.

"You have everything? Make sure you eat and send us a letter every day." Eruhaben seemed like a worried parent to Cale. What Cale did not know was that Eruhaben's instincts as a dragon were going haywire. Cale was always a weak person to him but now that he is a child and looks even weaker, Eruhaben wanted to wrap him in a blanket and hide him away somewhere safe until he was a bit stronger. The only reason that he was letting Cale go to this school was that Choi Han and Beacrox were with him.

"Yep, we have everything. Azrael is meeting us at the school. We have Raon, On, and Hong. I'll try to write every day but I might be busy. I'll see you guys at Christmas." Cale relied. Ron was talking with the other two a bit away and they all had vicious smiles. Cale shivered he did not want to know what they were talking about.

"Unlucky kid you're shivering at least put your coat on," Eruhaben said as he pulled the coat out of Cale's arms and helped him put it in. They decided to come 30 minutes before their train was meant to leave so there weren't many people around.

"I'm not even cold...though.." Cale whispered under his breath. Raon places a heating spell on his coat so he is quite warm now. Raon was lying across his shoulders while Choi Han was carrying On and Hong.

"We better get on the train if we want a good seat. Choi Han! Beacrox! Are both of you ready?" Cale wanted out of here. The longer he was standing the more he wanted to go back to bed. He had read all his school books and was extremely disappointed with how easy this year was going to be. Especially DADA. That book took him 2 minutes to read and he regretted reading it immediately.

"Young master, we are ready," Beacrox said in a monotone voice. He stepped onto the train first helping Cale when he came after him. Choi Han stepped on last. "Let's find a seat near the front."

They walked toward the front of the train and chose an open compartment. The compartment was quite large and Cale could probably lay across one of the benches. The benches were a cool blue and looked comfortable so Cale sat on the right while Choi Han sat beside him and Beacrox across from him. It seemed they could fit at least 4 more people in.

Choi Han and Beacrox had put their luggage in the overhead compartments and they sat down. Bescrox pulled out his knives to clean. Cale quickly glanced away.

"Choi Han, what do you plan to do for these long nine hours we have?" Cale was curious.

"I plan to read some of our school books. I've read the Herbology one and am planning to read the rest on the ride. What about you Cale-nim?" Choi Han seemed excited about the reading.

"Don't bother with the Defense book its bullshit. I plan on sleeping." Cale said with a straight face.

As he went to lay his head against the window to sleep Choi Han suddenly grabbed the side of his head.

"Wait a bit Cale-nim. It window might be dirty so we should clean it a bit." Choi Han quickly said when Cale looked at him in question.

"Right," Cale said glancing at where Beacrox was pulling out a cloth and cleaning the window. It would be bad to get sick this early in the school year.

"Also, put this against the widow Cale-nim it should be a bit more comfortable." Choi Han said as he took off his coat and handed it to Cale.

"Won't you get cold?" Cale looked at Choi Han with worry. It was a bit cold on the train. Did it have cooling magic?

"Don't worry human! I'll keep this place warm for us! You just sleep!" Raon shouted excitedly from the corner he and his siblings claimed. As he finished talking the compartment did get a bit warmer.

"Thank you, Raon," Cale said as he laid his head on Choi Han's jacket against the window. He closed his eyes and he was out.

While Cale was asleep quite a few people tried to sit in their compartments but one look from both Choi Han and Beacrox sent them running. Raon made sure there was a sound barrier between Cale and the rest of the world. He knew Cale had been up late the night before and was glad his human was sleeping.

Once again the compartment door opened.
"Oh. Choi Han, Beacrox Molan. How have you two been?" It was Blaize and Theo.

"We've been well. Please just call me Beacrox. You may sit if you want. " Beacrox said gesturing to the seats beside him.

"Ah, Thank you. Is Heir Henituse alright?" Theo said. Not many students choose to sleep on the train.

"Ah, yes he is fine. He stayed up a bit late last night and decided to catch up on sleep." Choi Han replied.

After a few moments of awkward silence, Theo began to question Beacrox on how he cared for his knives. The Notts were a Vikiing family before wizards so Theo had been trained to fight and had many knives himself. Blaize and Choi Han started talking about the book Choi Han was reading, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and hit it off.

After a few minutes and a couple more intruding students, the train started moving. Choi Han and Beacrox were pleasantly surprised at how much they enjoyed the company of these two.

_______

Cale was having a nice dream. He was farming with his family in the forest of darkness. Even the Crown Prince was there!.........

The dream faded out into a vision of the train Cale was riding. He was in the hallway. Looking around he saw a few girls a little bit away from him. He started walking toward them.

There were four of them. Tree of them were wearing red and orange scarves and they seemed to be cornering the last girl.

The fourth girl had on a white flowing skirt that flowed just above her ankle. It was covered in a sunflower pattern. She had on brown boots and a yellow sweater. Over that yellow sweater, she was wearing a bright pink cardigan. She had pale skin and white hair. Her eye was covered by owl-looking glasses that were bright pink with multi-colored lenses.

one of the other girls snatched the glasses from her face and another tried to grab the brown tote bag she was wearing. What was weird though was the fact that she was looking right at Cale. She made eye contact with him and smiled wide. She had the clearest ice-blue eyes Cale had ever seen.

"What are you smiling at Loony Luna? "
..................

Cale opened his eyes slowly after coming out of the vision. He looked around as the compartment went quiet. He seemed to have sifted in his sleep as he was lying on Choi Han's shoulder. Blaize and Theodore from the tea shop had arrived while he was asleep.

He stretched his legs a bit and stood up heading for the door ignoring the confused faces.

"Young Master, where are you going?" Beatrix asked just as he was about to open the door.

"I'm going to pick up a friend. Choi Han, would you like to come with me?" Cale said glancing back.

"Uh, Sure Cale-nim. Did you see something?" Choi Han got up and followed him in a hurry. He snatched a knife from Beacrox's hands ignoring the small frown on the other's face.

"Yes."

Cale walked down the hall for a bit until he heard the voices he heard in his vision.

"There is nothing around for you to smile at looney!" the girl in from his vision said.

Cale heard Choi Han's footsteps speed up a bit until he was right behind Cale.

Cale looked eyes with Luna and she smiled brighter than before.

"Excuse me, Can I have the glasses in your hand?" Cale asked once he was a bit away from the girls. He said this in the straightest face he could manage. Though he could feel the heat of Choi Han's glare behind him.

The three girls shrieked a bit turning around. They seemed to pale when they saw him.

"Uh..uh S-s-sure." The girl with the glasses placed them in his waiting hands. Then all at once the three girls turned around and ran.

"Hello, Luna. Would you like to sit with us?" Cale said putting the glasses back on her face. For some reason, Luna seemed to be of creature descendent to him. She looked as beautiful as the whale tribe back home.

"I would love to Physis! Thank you for casing them away." Luna said with a small curtsy. He was right. She also seemed to have some sort of sight as she had seen him when he was in his vision.

"This is Choi Han, my friend. If those people give you trouble again please find me or him. I have some other friends you could find too. Come on. " Cale felt quite comfortable around Luna.

"Luna, what house are you in?" Choi Han asked walking next to her behind Cale.

"I'm in Ravenclaw! It is quite a fun house! Though my this go missing every year I blame the nargles."

"Maybe I could chase the Nargles away for you Luna. Just ask me anytime!"

Cale was glad they got along he wanted to be friends with Luna. He stepped back into the compartment and sat back into his seat picking Raon up on the way. Luna smiled at everyone and sat beside him.

"This is Luna, a new friend." Cale gestured to the girl beside him. "Luna this is Beacrox, Blaize, and Theodore." Cale pointed toward each of the boys and Luna waved and each of them.

-Human! I think she is an Elf!! She smells like Oliver! Can I send her a message?? Please!

"Luna this is Raon, and those over there sleeping are On and Hong."

"Physis you seem to have wonderful friends!" Luna said as Raon jumped into her raised arms.

The other boys stared at her for a moment, looked at Cale, who raised his eyebrow in question, and then turned back to do whatever they were doing before Cale woke up.

"Here's your knife back."

"Why don't you have your knives on you?"

"Why do either of you have knives?" Luna asked in a confused voice. She seemed more curious than scared so Cale answered.

"Oh, Their my bodyguards. Also, it's not against the rules to carry weapons, I checked."

"You have a Hogwarts rule book!" Both Blaize and Theodore shouted.

"Hmm yes? Don't you?" Wouldn't a school send each student a rule book?

"No! For some reason, they can't be found anymore. It was like one day they all just disappeared. " Theo responded looking frustrated.

"You can read mine if you want. I found it in the manor library. It's in my trunk so you will have to wait till tomorrow to get it."

"Merlin, yes. I'll ask again tomorrow." Theo said before turning back to Beacrox.

"Physis your cat is an amazing and talented creature!" Luna whispered to him.

-Human she can talk in my head like I can!! She is very nice!

"I'm going back to sleep."

Notes:

Cale: Wow she is so pretty. She makes me look like a shrimp!!

Luna: Physis!!! Friend!!

Choi Han: confused puppy

Beacrox: he does this every other day.

Chapter Text

"Physis..We are here!" Luna softly shook Cale awake. She was smiling brightly in different clothes than the ones she had on when Cale fell back asleep. She was wearing the school uniform in blue and bronze colors. She was a Ravenclaw.

Cale got up and stretched a bit. Beacrox and Theodore were putting up their knives and hiding some on their person. Cale was going to ignore that he had picked up another vicious person. Choi Han was putting his sword on his hip while listening to Blaize, who was holding On and Hong, talk about something Cale didn't bother to follow. Cale stumbled a bit when Raon jumped from Luna's arms onto Cale's shoulders.

-Sorry human! I'll be more careful next time!

Once everyone was set, the six of them started walking out of the train. Beacrox and Theo are at the front of the group and Choi Han and Blaize are at the back. Beacrox helped Cale step down while Theo helped Luna who seemed pleasantly surprised by his kindness. Cale decided to make it to where the girl would no longer be surprised by human decency. They walked through and out of Hogsmeade Station. Cale was busily listening to Luna talk about her father's paper to notice the fact that the students around them parted like the sea.

After a bit, Cale caught sight of the coaches. There were about a hundred or so stagecoaches lined up on a road. What caught his eye though was the horses that were pulling the coaches. They were completely fleshless, their black coats clinging to their skeletons, of which every bone was visible. Their heads were dragonish, and their pupil-less eyes were white and staring. Wings sprouted from each wither - vast, black leathery wings that looked as though they ought to belong to giant bats. Standing still and quiet in the gathering gloom, the creatures looked eerie and sinister.

Cale thought the horses reminded him a lot of death.

"Hey Luna, What are those horses?" Cale asked. What he did not expect was for Theo and Blaize to shoot him a surprised look.

"You can see them?" Blaize asked. He seemed surprised which made cale assume that most people could not see them.

"They are called Thestrals. Only those who have seen death can see them." Luna responded with a sad tone to her voice. "I can see them as well, Physis."

"Ah, of course I can see them." Cale smiled a bit bitterly. He had seen more people die than he could count.

"We can all see them I suppose." Choi Han said.

As they go closer to the horses tho they do the weirdest thing. They bowed to Cale. It confirmed his suspicion they were created by that bastard god.

He ignored it and got on the carriage after Beacrox and Theo.

"So Luna I forgot to ask what year you were in."

"I'm in my 5th year, Physis. I assume we will have a few classes together! Will you sit with me?"

"Sure Luna. I hope we have some classes together."

"I wonder how they are going to sort you three. I don't think Hogwarts has had transfer students in a while." Blaize said sitting next to Choi Han.

After a few minutes of chatting while they waited the carriages started to move. They rode for quite a bit until they were passing through two tall stone pillars topped with winged boars on either side of them. In front of them loomed a beautiful castle. It practically reeked of magic and all of a sudden Cale was overwhelmed with a blank to warmth and protection. It was like something had wrapped a warm blanket around him and he lost almost all the strength in his body.. It frightened Choi Han a bit as he caught him from falling forward.

"Cale-nim! All you all right."

"It's a bit overwhelming isn't it Physis," Luna said dreamily looking at Hogwarts.

Only once Cale had the strength back into his body did he reply "Yes, It's a bit overwhelming but nice Luna."

He nodded at Choi Han that he was alright and sat back up. It seemed that Hogwarts was sentient.

-Human can I talk to it? Can I? It's talking to me!

Cale slightly nodded his head. Hogwarts felt safe enough.

The carriages jolted to a stop near stone steps leading up to large oak doors. Choi Han and Blaize got off first then helped Cale and Luna down. Beacrox and Theo got off last.

Cale took a glance at the Thestrals, who once again bowed at him. Then he looked at the large crowd heading up the stairs. On, Hong and Raon dropped to the floor.

-Human we will go explore! Miss. Hogwarts said she would lead us to you when we are done.

The young dragon in the shape of a cat said as he and his siblings ran off.

"They'll find us later," Cale said at the confused gazes on him. "Let's start walking."

Beacrox and Theo led again while making sure there was enough space for Luna and Cale to walk without tripping or being crushed. As they walked through the doors they heard a voice call out from the side.

"Heir Henituse! Over here please!" A goblin stood to the side gesturing at Cale. "The other two as well!"

"If you excuse us," Cale said to Luna, Theo, and Blaize, all of whom smiled in understanding, as he walked off toward the goblin. Luna did a small curtsy but Cale ignored it once again.

"May your coffers overrun with jewels and rare metals." Cale offered in greeting as he made it to the professor with Choi Han and Beacrox on his right and left.

"Ah! May your enemies fall while you sleep! It has been a while since a student greeted me in such a manner Physis! My name is Professor Filius Flitwick. I will lead you into the Great Hall, after the first years have been sorted, and then you will be sorted. I am a Hogwarts professor but I am a goblin first Physis."

"Thank you, professor. Please refer to me as Cale in front of the rest of the students."

"Of course!"
____
They waited in the Entrance hall for about 30 minutes. Professor Flitwick and Cale talked about the Charms they would be learning that year while Choi Han and Beacrox talked about something Cale did not bother trying to listen to as they looked quite vicious.

Then the Professor lead them to the right through double doors. Inside was the Great Hall. There were four long tables with different colored flags and a starless black ceiling that matched the sky through the window. Cale guessed it was charmed, so he decided to ask Professor Flitwick about it late. Candles floated in midair above all the tables and some ghosts were dotted about the Hall. At the top of the hall was another long table where Cale assumed the teachers were sitting. There was a throne-like chair in the center of the table sat Dumbledore, in atrocious deep purple robes scattered with stars. A bit to his left Cale noticed the toad-like witch from Harry's trial.

Cale frowned a bit as they looked eyes and the witched sneered at him as his uncle had once sneered at him. He did not like this woman one bit.

Cale ignored the hundreds of gazes that sat upon him as he walked through the middle of the great hall. He ignored the whispers that spread like wildfire a few moments after he and his group walked in after the professor.

------
Most of the students were absolutely flabbergasted. The presence of the people who just walked into the great hall following Professor Flitwick was immense. Not to even mention the look of the red-haired one in the middle.

"Oh, Merlin who are those guys?"

"I think I might be gay......"

"Are they students?"

----

Right in front of the staff table sat a stool. A stern-looking witch stood to its right holding an ancient-looking wizard hat heavily patched and darned with a wide rip near the frayed brim. Cale noticed Beacrox looked a bit upset about the whole situation. Considering the other's relationship with keeping this clean Cale could not blame him.

"Professor McGonagall I have brought the Transfer students." Professor Flitwick said as he passed the witch and sat at the staff table.

"Good evening, would Cale Henituse please come forward and sit on the stool? We will sort you." The witch said wasting no time.

Cale walked forward and sat down. The witch hesitated behind Cale because of the two glares she was receiving from the other two not that Cale noticed. She finally placed the hat down on Cale's head.

-Hello Physis, I wondered when you would be coming into the hall. Miss Hogwarts told me about you.

-Ah! Hello.

Cale responded to the hat in his mind. It was quite the wired hat.

-You have a smart mind. You are loyal and ambitious. You seem to make connections everywhere you go! There is only one house for you! Better be...

"SLYTHERIN!"

Loud claps erupted from the Slytherin table and Cale headed over to where he saw Theo waving him towards. He sat down next to Theo, who was sat beside a pale white hair wizard who looked like the Malfoy at the trial, and across from Blaize ignoring the other gazes on him. To his left there was a space Cale assumed was for Beacrox.

"Welcome to Slytherin Cale." Blaize and Theo said almost at the same time.

"Thank you," Cale responded already looking back to where Choi Han and Beacrox stood looming at him. He gave them a nod letting them know he was alright.

"Choi Han if you would," McGonagall said.

Choi Han sat on the Hat a bit longer than Cale did. It was probably convincing Choi Han to let the hat sort him in Gryffindor and not in Slytherin with Cale.

"GRYFFINDOR!" The hat finally shouted.

The house started cheering loudly.

Choi Han looked a bit disappointed but walked over to the red and yellow table. He sat next to a waving harry. Cale was glad that Choi Han at least knew someone in his house.

"Lastly Beacrox Molan."

The hat took less time than Cale to decide where to put Beacrox. It was bearly on his head a few seconds when it shouted out

"SLYTHERIN!"

Beacrox swiftly stood and walked over to the space beside Cale and sat down offering the other two boys nods.

After a long applause, Professor McGonagall picked up the Hat and stool before marching away as Headmaster Dumbledore rose to his feet.

"To our newcomers," Dumbledore raised his voice as he spoke out across the hall, "welcome! To our old hands- welcome back! There is a time for speechmaking, but this is not it. Tuck in!"

At that, a laugh and applause broke out as Dumbledore sat down neatly and threw his beard over his shoulder. Cale thought that he might be a bit mad. Food had appeared out of nowhere, ao that the five long tables were groaning under joints, pies, dishes of vegetables, bread, sauces, and flagons of what looked like pumpkin juice.

Beacrox looked a bit appalled at the food. Probably wondering where it came from and if where it had been before then was clean.

"It's probable fine, the house elves." Cale leaned over a whispered.

And so they began eating...well eating and being questioned.

"Are you really a Henituse? They haven't been seen for hundreds of years!" A mousy-looking girl said from beside Blaize. A few people paled from both sides of the table.

Cale finished the food that was in his mouth before regarding the witch. "Yes, I am. I was homeschooled before my parents asked me to come here. Who are you?" He asked back as the girl paled a bit. Before she could answer tho the pale boy spoke confirming Cale's suspicions.

"Hello, please excuse my friend, Pansy Parkinson, I am Draco Malfoy." He said looking a bit nervous.

"Hello." Cale replyed back then went back to eating which was interrupted once a again with a:

"BANG" from the Gryffindor table. Cale looked over and his eyes widened and hands shook.

-------
Choi Han was excited. He liked Blaize quite a bit but he liked Harry just as much. He trusted Beacrox and Theo, who showed how skilled he was with a knife of the ride here, with Cale's safy while they were apart. They were talking about what Choi Han and Cale had done between the trial and now when a voice interrupted.

"Wow, you must be glad you at this table mate. I don't think you should be friends with those slimy snakes you came in with. Especially that red-haired one. He seemed like a no-good spoiled bra-"

Choi Han cut him by pulling one of his knives out of his sleave and slamming it into the table between him and the ginger.

Should he kill him? No they were in a school... Would disfiguring his face do? Maybe.... He could cut of a finger? What to do...........

---
Choi Han had slammed a knife into the Gryffindor table. The boy looked as mad as he looked when he found out all that Baster did to Raon. This was not good.

"Choi Han. You can't harm other students on your first day. Please put the knife away. " Cale calmly called out across the silent hall.

Choi Han seemed to hesitate for a moment and right before Cale was going to call again he grabbed the knife and in a quick movement put it away.

"Sorry Cale-nim." Choi Han said as he smiled at the back at the other.

"Well, I must interfere here," Cale sighed as Dumbledore's voice sounded out across the hall, "I do not believe weapons are allowed at Hogwarts so I will have to take that knife and sword away until you leave."

Cale sighed and rested his head on his right palm regarding the headmaster with a bored look.
"Sir the Hogwarts Rule book stated in rule 27 that weapons of any kind are allowed at Hogwarts so long as the carrier does not kill another student."

Now several students were looking at him in shock. Then the whispers started.
"A rule book!"

"I haven't seen one!"

"Silence! Where did you get a rule book? They seemed to be all lost." Dumbledore silenced the hall. He seemed to be quite pale. It almost causes Cale to smirk.

Beside him Beacrox, Theo, and Blaize were trying quite hard not to smile and laugh.

"It was in my family library. We would never lose such an important book." Cale responded with the same board look.

"Very well," Dumbledore said.

( Dumbeldore- 0

Everyone went back to talking and eating. The food disappeared after all the students in the hall had finished eating and Dumbledore once again rose to his feet.

"Well, not that we are all digesting another magnificent feat, a beg a few minutes of your attention for the usual start-of-tern notices. First years ought to know that the Forest is out of bounds to all students. Mr. Filch, the caretaker, has asked me to remind you all that magic is not permitted in corridors between classes, nor a number of other things, all of which can be checked on the extensive list now fastened to Mr. Flinches door. We have had two changes to the staff this year. We are very pleased to welcome back Professor Grubbly-Plank, who will be taking Care of Magical Creatures lessons. We are also delighted to introduce Professor Umbridge, our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Tryout for the house Quidditch teams will take place on the -"

Cale blinked as the Headmaster was interrupted.

"Hem, Hem"

Professor Umbrigre, the toad-looking woman who looked to commit a fashion crime, was standing.

The Headmaster looked at the witch for a moment then sat back down as if to give her the floor.

"Thank you, Headmaster, " Her voice sounded like nails on a chalkboard, "for those kind words of welcome. Well, it is lovely to be back at Hogwarts I must say! And to see such happy little faces looking up at me! "

Cale wanted to slam his head into the table. No one looked happy at the witch but Cale decided to let her live in delusion.

"I am very much looking forward to getting to know you all," Cale was not, " and I'm sure we'll all be good friends!" They will not

Cale turned the witch out as she started talking about the ministry. He stayed that way until he heard clapping and was glad to see the witch sit back down.

After a few more minutes, Cale was getting more and more tired, and everyone started to get up.

"Come on Cale, Beacrox we'll show you to the Slytherin dorm room. "They said as he and Blaize got up.

Cale glanced toward Choi Han who was talking with Harry as they walked out of the hall. He seemed to be alright.

"Ok," Cale said as he got up with Beacrox following after him.

They walked a bit into the castle until they arrived in front of a stretch of a damp stone wall.

"The password is always Salazar the first two weeks so the first years get used to the school. " Blaize said.

As he said it a stone door appeared and opened

The Slytherins seemed to disperse to different corners of the common room. They all regarded Cale with curiosity.

Moonlight refracted through the lake to the windows, which cast a green glow over everything. The couches looked only moderately welcoming and there were circular tables and chairs evidently set up for study. A few paintings hung on the walls, including one of a sleeping green snake overlooking one of the study areas.

“C’mon, Cale, Beacrox,” Zabini said. “We have a year meeting.” He started walking towards a group of couches, where a group of people were sitting.

Part of Cale wanted to decline, but he thought it might be informative.

“ Our year has a tradition of getting together for a meeting one night a week. Since you are now in our year, you should take part.” Theo explained as they walked over.

Parkinson and Malfoy were also making their way over. Cale decided to sit on a comfortable-looking green couch and Beacrox sat to his right. Theo and Blaize sat to his left.

The rest of the fifth years gathered, and Cale observed them a bit. They introduced themselves when they all came. There was Millicent Bulstrode, Tracey Davis, Daphne Greengrass, and Pansy Parkinson. The Slytherin boys were comprised of Blaise Zabini, Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, Theodore Nott, and, of course, Draco Malfoy.

Draco Malfoy was the son of Lucius Malfoy. Cale hoped that he was not as annoying as that man had been.

After all of the fifth years sat down, Cale realized that they all looked very awkward. Cale also noticed that the other years were having this meeting with their yearmates.

"Well, again welcome to Slytherin Cale, Beacrox," Theo said breaking the silence.

"I would like to know how you and Heir Henituse know each other" Pansy Parkinson asked Theo and Blaize.

Before either could answer Cale decided to answer.

"I meet them while getting my school things," Cale said.

That seemed to get the conversation around him going a bit. He was asked some questions but they mostly left him alone.

After about 30 minutes of talking Cale's eyes were getting a bit heavy.

“Our dorm is in the left hall, third door on the right," Blaise said from Cale's left. Cale gave him a thankful nod and excused himself from the group. Beacrox followed behind him as he walked toward the room.

It was quite large and had 7 beds. all in half a circle. There were small desks and wardrobes by each bed and a door that led to a bigger bathroom.

"What do you think Beacrox," Cale asked the other boy who had found his bed. In the next bed, Cale noticed the three sleeping cats a assumed it was his bed. He also heard a small noise above and noticed Azrael perched on one of his bed posts. How they all got here Cale did not want to know.

"No one here is a threat," Beacrox said after a bit.

"That's good," Cale said a bit sleepily.

"Please wash up before your sleep Young master," Beacrox stated right as Cale was preparing to fall into the bad.

"Alright." If Cale did not have any survival instincts he would have ignored the other. However, he figured the other would kill him if he went to bed dirty.

After cleaning up Cale fell into bed not at all excited for the next day. He hoped that Choi Han was doing well.

Chapter Text

Cale did not like waking up early. He. usually tried to avoid getting up at all. But he was a kid in school right now. Meaning, that Beacrox and him were walking out of the common room to the Great Hall where food is served. Raon and the other kids decided to continue their exploring, which he told Cale all about. Apparently, there was a huge snack carcass under the school and some nice centaurs living in the woods. Cale decided to wander too far into the woods.

When they arrived in the great hall about an hour before their first lesson, their schedules were placed on their desks when they woke up, was History of Magic with the Ravenclaws.

Most of the fifth years were already at the table when they walked into the hall. Glancing at the Gryffindor table Cale frowned. Choi Han was not there, but neither was Harry.

"Good morning."

Theo and Blaize greeted as Cale sank onto the bench. These tables were quite uncomfortable. Cale nodded back and grabbed the tea that Beacrox was handing it. He made a face when he drank it though. It was lemon tea. He turned to Beacrox with a betrayed look.

"Ron made me promise you would drink it, Young master, it is good for you," Beacrox responded without even looking a Cale.

Gulping Cale went back to drinking his lemon tea....' Vicious'

"Why do you call him Young Master?" Pansy asked down the table. She seemed genuinely curious so Cale decided to answer after Beacrox just raised an eyebrow at her.

"He and Choi Han are my guards." He answered before grabbing the toast that was placed in front of him.

"Why do you need guards are you weak?" Pansy asked in a mocking tone.

"Hm..I'm very weak.....I sometimes cough up blood and faint." Cale responded deadpan. He did not notice the people around him pale and Beacrox grabbed the butter knife hard enough to bend it.

"Oh....That must be why you were home school.." Pansy mumbled back with an embarrassed face.

Cale nodded in agreement still focusing more on his food.

"The morning mail should be coming soon," Draco said changing the subject.

"That does remind me I need to send a letter," Cale mumbled as everyone else relaxed.

After Cale said that Choi Han and Harry walked into the Hall with someone Cale did not recognize. They were smiling and talking. Cale smiled and relaxed a bit seeing them be friends. Choi Han walked Harry over to their table before starting to walk toward Cale. He smiled in greeting.

"Cale-nim! How was your night." Choi Han greeted with a small bow and a long look at Beacrox.

"It was good. How was your night? Did you make any friends?" Cale said as he scooted a bit to the right so Choi Han could sit between him and Beacrox. He did not notice the confused look the group was getting from the other students in the hall.

"I made a few." Choi Han answered as he took the toast Beacrox was offering him. "It's quite noisy but lively."

"Hm... I'm glad."

Right as Cale said that owls started pouring into the Great Hall from windows above the teacher's table. Beacrox was disgusted. Disgusted. Were the owls properly washed and cleaned? He did not know.

"Mail time," Theo mumbled still reading the book in front of him.

After a few minutes, the owls died down. Cale thought he could go back to eating but he choked as a black phoenix flew through the window right at him. Gasps and whispers could be heard all around.

It gracefully landed on Cale's outstretched arm.

"Thank you, Felix. Go back now." Cale said as he grabbed the heavy letter from his beak. He petted the bird for a bit before lifting his arm, letting the animal take off and leave.

"You have a Phoenix carry your letters?!" Pansy shouted.

"No. I have a Raven. This is from Eruhaben, one of my guardians." Cale answered while opening the letter.

< Unlucky kid you forgot this. Also congratulations on getting into Slytherin>

It was in Eruhaben's fancy handwriting and in the letter was his earring that King Ragnok gave him.

"Oh, I forgot to put this back on and forgot it," Cale murmured while slipping the ear back into his ear.

"What is that? Why does it have the symbol of the Nation of Goblins on it?" Draco asked seemingly forgetting his earlier anger that Choi Han was at the table.

"Oh This? King Ragnok gave it to me when I first met him. It's supposed to protect me or something."

"You have relations with the King of the Goblin Nation?" Draco and the others seemed a bit shoked so Cale just answered yes before turning back to continue his conversation with Choi Han.

____

The first lesson he had in Hogwarts gave Cale no hope that this school would be any good. History of Magic was only fun because he got to sit next to Luna. He had already read the book given and that seemed to be the only thing he needed. Professor Binns talked like his only purpose was to put you to sleep.

Cale had always liked drawing so he pulled out his sketchbook and he sketched small drawings of Roan back home for the hour he was sitting in that class. He showed Luna drawings after he was done and watched them bring wide smiles to her face. He hoped she was doing well in her house. After that, he had an hour of free time that he spent in the library with the other Slytherin 5th years. He watched them silently freak out when Beacrox pulled out his knives to care for them. He then had Herbology with Professor Sprout and her Hufflepuffs. He became friends with a lovely girl named Susan Bones who is the niece of Amelia Bones, the head of the Department of Magical Justice. She was quite firm in her dedication to her friends so Cale decided he would like her as a friend. Then Lunch came around and Cale had to deal with Beacrox performing many spells to clean the place around Cale. After lunch came the class Cale was the least excited for, Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Cale and his group of 5th years arrived first and they split off into tables of three. Cale put Beacrox, Blaize, and Theo at the desk in front of him in the middle of the room and sat in the middle of the desk behind the three. They had this class with the Gryffindor so Cale planned to sit with Choi Han and Harry.

Cale ignored Professor Umbridge's gaze burning a hold in him as he waited.

"I don't like how she is looking at you, Cale," Beacrox whispered after turning to look at Cale.

"Don't worry about it. There is nothing she can do to me that would hurt me." Cale answered after thinking for a bit. The only thing that the lady could do to hurt him was to hurt his group and he trusted the strength of those he claimed as his own.

After a few minutes, Choi Han and Harry entered the classroom. When Choi Han spotted him a huge smile graced his face and he nearly ran over.

"Cale-nim! Can we sit with you?" Choi Han asked as he came to Cale's left and Harry went to his right.

"I was saving you two a seat so I hope you would sit," Cale said glancing at the two, both of whom sat down with smiles as bright as the sun. Cale thought he would go blind.

After a few more people came in the Professor started talking.

"Well, good afternoon," her voice still sounded horrible and Cale did not rely on everyone else's mumbled "Good afternoon"

"Tch, Tch That won't do, now will it? I should like you to reply 'Good afternoon, Professor Umbridge,'" She seemed to intentionally look eyes with Cale as she said those words, "One more time, please. Good afternoon class!"

Cale wanted to roll his eyes but used every ounce of willpower in his body not to.

"Good afternoon Professor Umbridge."

"That wasn't to difficult now was it?"

There it was again. She had looked directly at Cale when she said that. He frowned a bit. It seemed that his person would be out to get him for reasons he did not know. Well as long as she didn't go after his people.

What he didn't know is that all 7 Slytherin students and the 2 Gryffindor students had caught on as well, and well they were not happy.

"Wands away, Books, and quills out, please."

Cale figured this would happen. He hadn't even gotten his wand out in the first place but watched most of the class shove their wands away with gloomy looks. It seemed that no one here was thrilled about this lesson.

“Well now, your teaching in this subject has been rather disrupted and fragmented, hasn’t it?”
stated Professor Umbridge, turning to face the class with her hands clasped neatly in front of her. She looked a bit like that bastard Prince Adin.

“The constant changing of teachers, many of whom do not seem to have followed any Ministry-approved curriculum, has unfortunately resulted in your being far below the standard we would expect to see in your OWL year. You will be pleased to know," No one looked pleased, "however, that these problems are now to be rectified. We will be following a carefully structured, theory-centered, Ministry-approved course of defensive magic this year. Copy down the following, please.” Cale grabbed a notebook out of his bag along with the silver fountain pen that Marvin, the archives at the manor, gave him. It would never run out of black ink which is quite useful.

She rapped the blackboard again; the first message vanished and was replaced by: Course Aims:

1 . Understanding the principles underlying defensive magic.

2 Learning to recognize situations in which defensive magic can legally be used.

3 . Placing the use of defensive magic in a context for practical use.

Cale didn't bother writing something he was already going to remember for the rest of his miserable life. But he listened to everyone else slowly write it down.

When everyone had copied down Professor Umbridge’s three-course aims she asked, “Has everybody got a copy of Defensive Magical Theory by Wilbert Slinkhard?”

There was a dull murmur of assent throughout the class.

“I think we’ll try that again,” said Professor Umbridge. “When I ask you a question, I should like you to reply, ‘Yes, Professor Umbridge’, or ‘No, Professor Umbridge’. So: has everyone got a copy of Defensive Magical Theory by Wilbert Slinkhard?”

“Yes, Professor Umbridge,” rang through the room. Cale didn't bother to answer and just stared at his book as he felt the professor's eyes one him.

“Good,” said Professor Umbridge. “I would like you to turn to page five and read ‘Chapter One, Basics for Beginners’. There will be no need to talk.” Professor Umbridge left the blackboard and settled herself in the chair behind the teacher’s desk, observing them all closely. Cale had already read it but decided to pretend to read it.

“After several more minutes had passed Cale noticed harry staring at a girl from Gryffindor's house. The girl had not even opened her book to read and was staring at the professor as she ignored her.

"Who is that?" Cale whispered to Choi Han.

"Hermione Granger." He quietly responded.

When more than half the class were staring at Hermione rather than at their books, Professor Umbridge seemed to decide that she could ignore the situation no longer.

“Did you want to ask something about the chapter, dear?” she asked Hermione, as though she had only just noticed her.

“Not about the chapter, no,” said Hermione.

“Well, we’re reading just now,” said Professor Umbridge, showing her small pointed teeth. “If you have other queries we can deal with them at the end of class.”

“I’ve got a query about your course aims,” said Hermione rather quickly as she still had attintion on her.

Professor Umbridge raised her eyebrows with a small frown. To Cale she seemed quite mad. It almost made him smile.

“And your name is?” It was said in quite a condescending tone.

“Hermione Granger,” said Hermione.

“Well, Miss Granger, I think the course aims are clear if you read them through carefully,” said Professor Umbridge in a voice of determined sweetness.

“Well, I don’t,” said Hermione bluntly. “There’s nothing written up there about using defensive spells.”

Cale was pleasantly surprised that she had noticed. Blaize and Theo had glanced at each other earlier when those points were put up but Cale figured that they would discuss what to do about it later. This Hermione was quite the smart witch. It she was Harry's friend then he should be a bit safer.

There was a short silence in which Cale watched many members of the class turn their heads to frown at the three-course aims still written on the blackboard.

“Using defensive spells?” Professor Umbridge repeated with a little laugh. “Why, I can’t imagine any situation arising in my classroom that would require you to use a defensive spell, Miss Granger. You surely aren’t expecting to be attacked during class?”

Cale wanted to roll his eyes.

“We’re not going to use magic?” A ginger-haired boy exclaimed loudly. Cale assumed him to be a Weasley. He looked a bit like Bill and Percy.

“Students raise their hands when they wish to speak in my class, Mr. -?”

“Weasley,” said the boy, thrusting his hand into the air. Cale was right again.

Professor Umbridge, smiling still more widely, turned her back on him. Cale saw Harry and Hermione immediately raise their hands too. Professor Umbridge’s eyes lingered on Harry for a moment before she addressed Hermione.

“Yes, Miss Granger? You wanted to ask something else?”

“Yes,” said Hermione. “Surely the whole point of Defence Against the Dark Arts is to practice defensive spells?”

“Are you a Ministry-trained educational expert, Miss Granger?” asked Professor Umbridge, in her falsely sweet voice. What a bitch......

“No, but -”

“Well then, I’m afraid you are not qualified to decide what the ‘whole point’ of any class is.
Wizards much older and cleverer than you have devised our new program of study. You will be learning about defensive spells in a secure, risk-free way.”

Cale saw Harry get mad and open his mouth so he reached under the table and grabbed the boy's knee. When Harry turned to him looking confused Cale shook his head and put a single finger to his lips signaling for the boy the be quiet. I worked and Harry clenched his fists and remained quiet. Harry talking in this class would do him no good and Cale did not want to see the puppy-like kid hurt.

“And your name is?” Professor Umbridge said to a male student with his hand raised.

“Dean Thomas.”

“Well, Mr. Thomas?”

“Well,” said Dean. “If we’re going to be attacked, it won’t be risk-free.”

“I repeat,” said Professor Umbridge “do you expect to be attacked during my classes?”

“No, but -”

Professor Umbridge talked over him. “I do not wish to criticize the way things have been run in this school,” she said, an unconvincing smile stretching her wide mouth, “but you have been exposed to some very irresponsible wizards in this class, very irresponsible indeed - not to mention,” she gave a nasty little laugh, “extremely dangerous half-breeds.”

Cale eyes sharpened 'Half-breeds?'

“If you mean Professor Lupin,” piped up Dean angrily, “he was the best we ever -”

“Hand, Mr. Thomas! As I was saying - you have been introduced to spells that have been complex, inappropriate to your age group, and potentially lethal. You have been frightened into believing that you are likely to meet Dark attacks every other day -”

“No we haven’t,” Hermione said, “we just -”

“Your hand is not up, Miss Granger!”

Hermione put up her hand. Professor Umbridge turned away from her. Cale was getting a bit angry himself.

“It is my understanding that my predecessor not only performed illegal curses in front of you, he performed them on you.”

“Well, he turned out to be a maniac, didn’t he?” said Dean hotly. “Mind you, we still learned loads.”

“Your hand is not up, Mr. Thomas!” trilled Professor Umbridge. “Now, it is the view of the Ministry that theoretical knowledge will be more than sufficient to get you through your examination, which, after all, is what school is all about. And your name is?” she added, staring at a girl, whose hand had just shot up.

“Parvati Patil, and isn’t there a practical bit in our Defense Against the Dark Arts OWL? Aren’t we supposed to show that we can do the counter-curses and things?”

That was a good question in Cale's opinion.

“As long as you have studied the theory hard enough, there is no reason why you should not be able to perform the spells under carefully controlled examination conditions,” said Professor Umbridge dismissively.

“Without ever practicing them beforehand?” said Parvati incredulously. “Are you telling us that the first time we’ll get to do the spells will be during our exam?”

“I repeat, as long as you have studied the theory hard enough -”

Seeing as Harry was about to open his mouth again, Cale was getting annoyed himself, he squeezed Harry's knee and put his left hand in the air while his right hand was holding his head. The room went silent in an instant. Most of his yearmates were staring at him. He was the first Slytherin student to put his hand up.

"Your name is?" Umbridge called on him as she looked at him down her nose with that fake smile on her face.

"Cale Henituse professor." He answered lowering his hand to tap on the table.

"Well, what is your question." She seemed rather offended that he didn't just spit out his question the moment she called on him.

"If all you read is the theory on how you play an instrument will you be good at it?" Cale asked slowly as his Umbride would only understand him like that.

"Well, of course not you need practice," Umbridge said, seemingly confused as to why he had asked her this question.

The Slytherin students' eyes widened while Beacrox and Choi Han smiled. Cale had led her right into a trap.

"Then professor, shouldn't we need to practice the spell so we are good at them?" Cale asked catching Umbridge off guard. He enjoyed it when the smile on her face slipped off and her mouth hung open for a few moments.

"Regardless we will not be practicing any spells in the classroom." Umbridge ignored Cale's statement. This made Cale a bit mad so he spoke with out raising his hand.

"Will you be able to handle the consequences when a whole year of students fail their Defense Against the Dark Arts OWLS under your teaching?" Cale said rather blandly as if it was sure to happen if she taught the way she was going to.

Umbridge's eyes widened and her face got so red Cale was surprised she didn't faint.

“Detention, Mr. Henituse!” said Professor Umbridge angrily. “Tomorrow evening. Five o’clock. My office. For daring to doubt my teaching.”

Many of the students look out raged by this and Harry is about to open his mouth again when Cale squeezes his knee and shakes his head.

Cale laid his head back on his hand and stayed silent for the rest of the class. It would not end well for Umbridge if she tried to go after his people. He would need to show her that.

Chapter 13: Detention.

Summary:

Trigger warning. Creepy adult and pedo.

Chapter Text

Cale had one more class, Care of Magical Creatures, in which he was a "prodigy" in. Then he read in the library with his Slytherins and Luna. Choi Han joined them after saying that Harry had a meeting of sorts with his friends.

Dinner was next and he sat through it ignoring all the eyes that were on him. He could feel their whispers and stares seeping into his skin like sharp knives. After about an hour of it he got up and left with Beacrox following him.

When he returned to the dorm room he sat in a chair by the fireplace to read.

After dinner ended most of the snakes gathered in the common room to mingle and study, they also came in to establish the hierarchy Cale learned from Blaize. Cale, because of his family name, was the most powerful as the moment. If he showed his powers a bit he would most likely be obeyed. He would have to be careful though.

After a few moments of watching the crowded in the room, his Slytherins were seated around him but not close. They seemed to have sensed his sour mood. BEacrox tho was sitting on his left. He let a bit of his aura out. It was a small amount that wouldn't even frighten an elf or goblin just make them wary. But it did its purpose and the room went silent almost instantly. Someone even dropped the book they were carrying. These wixen people must be weaker than he thought.

"If anyone in this house works with Dolores Umbridge you will be making yourself my enemy. Do you understand?" Cale said peering at those around him from his book.

It was silent for a while and Cale almost opened his mouth again to say it again. Beacrox beat him to it though and had thrown a knife through the air into the bored that held all the information you needed to survive in the castle. He through it right into the paper that told the student who the DAtDA teacher was this yeas.

"Understood!" People said. Some nodded franticly.

"Good." Cale lowered his aura. Hey would not get in his way. He went back to his book.

The students in the common room had many varying reactions. Some ran out of the room as quietly as possible. Some stayed in there places. If they did what he asked they would be fine. Some of them watched Cale with sparkling eyes.

By the end of the day every Slytherin in the castle was under Cale wether he knew it or not. He had gained respect from the others and they would follow his wishes.

____

The next day was better mainly because he did not see Umbridge at all. He got to know Luna better, Raon had decided to stay with her for the day to scare of unwanted people. On and Hong were exploring the forest, which has poison plants all around it. They still loved getting stronger.

At five to five Cale set off for Umbridge’s office on the third floor. He convenced the others that he didn't need anyone going with him. Even Beacrox and Choi Han were not coming. When he knocked on the door she called, “Come in,” in a sugary voice. He entered and looked around.

He almost thew up in his mouth. At least White Radish had better taste than this women.

The surfaces had all been draped in lacy covers and cloths. There were several vases full of dried flowers, each one residing on its own doily, and on one of the walls was a collection of ornamental plates, each decorated with a kitten wearing a different bow around its neck.

"Good evening, Heir Cale.”

Cale started and looked around. He had not noticed her at first because she was wearing a luridly flowered set of robes that blended only too well with the tablecloth on the desk behind her. How disgusting. He was also annoyed that she used his first name. They were not that friendly.

“Evening, Professor Umbridge,” Cale said in a broad tone. She would never know she got to him in any way.

“Well, sit down,” she said, pointing towards a small table draped in lace beside which she had drawn up a straight-backed chair. A piece of blank parchment lay on the table, apparently waiting for him. Was she going to make him write lines?

"Very well," Cale said sitting down in the chair. It was not very comfortable but Cale had experienced worse.

“Now, you are going to be doing some lines for me, Heir. Cale. No, not with your pen,” she added, as Cale bent down to open his bag. “You’re going to be using a rather special quill of mine. Here you are.”

She handed him a long, thin black quill with an unusually sharp point.

“I want you to write, I must know my place,” she told him softly.

Did she think she was above him?

“How many times?” Cale asked, still with his board tone.

“Oh, as long as it takes for the message to sink in,” said Umbridge sweetly. “Off you go.”

She moved over to her desk, sat down, and bent over a stack of parchment that looked like essays for marking. Cale raised the sharp black quill, then realized what was missing.

“You haven’t given me any ink,” he said.

“Oh, you won’t need ink,” said Professor Umbridge, with the merest suggestion of a laugh in her voice.

This was the first time the professor had confused him. He hesitated for a long moment thinking. Was the quill spelled like his pen? It did seem to reek magic, not like his pen but still as much as his pen.

Cale placed the point of the quill on the paper and wrote. As he wrote pain washed over him. It wasn't that painful but it was pain all the same. He did not even twitch.

The words had been written on the parchment in what appeared to be shining red ink. Cale assumed this to be his blood. Hogwarts around his shoot a bit before Cale shook his head a bit. At the same time, the words had appeared on the back of his left hand, cut into his skin as though traced there by a medical scalpel - yet even as he stared at the shining cut, the skin healed over again, leaving the place where it had been slightly redder than before but quite smooth. It must have been the crybaby.

-Cale....that was not me...but something is in your blood that i can't get rid of. I don't know what it is but it is bad....it might take me a bit to get it out.

Cale glanced up at Umbridge. She was watching him, her wide, toadlike mouth stretched in a smile.

“Yes?”

“What did you put in my blood?” said Cale said quietly.

Umbridge smiled wider. "I thought you would notice. Cale..would you please repeat the word Blood Quill for me."

"......." Cale opened his mouth to comply but nothing came out. His eyes hardened. She had taken his ability to speak.

"I placed a small charm on you. It's quite lovely. You will not be able to talk about anything that happens in this room. You will not be able to say i harmed you in anyway. Most of all you will not be able to remove this charm as i have placed it in your blood." Umbridge was absolutely delighted.

-Hey crybaby. Don't try healing anything. Focus on getting this out of my blood.

-Cale what about your hand? You hate pain.

-Don't worry about it. I can take it.

"Continue writing Cale," Umbridge said bringing a tea cup to her smiling lips.

Cale wanted to rip that smile of her face but for some reason, he suspected the magic in his blood, he could not make a single aggressive movement against her.

He looked back at the parchment, placed the quill on it once more, and wrote. He felt the searing pain on the back of his hand for a second time; once again, the words had been cut into his skin; once again, they healed seconds later.

It went on. Again and again, Cale wrote the words on the parchment in his blood. And, again and again, the words were cut into the back of his hand, healed, and reappeared the next time he set quill to parchment.

Cale was a fast writer. He did not attempt to slow down from the pace he started at. He would not show her any reaction she so desperately wanted.

Darkness fell outside Umbridge’s window. Cale did not ask when he would be allowed to stop. He knew she was watching him for signs of weakness and he was not going to show any, not even if he had to sit there all night, cutting open his hand with this quill…

After a bit, it stopped healing and the words were bleeding through and making a pool of blood on the table.

“Come here,” she said, after what seemed hours.

He stood up. His hand was throbbing painfully. When he looked down at it he saw that blood was dripping from the wound down to the floor.

He did not care.

“Hand,” she said.

He extended it. She took it in her own. Cale repressed a shudder as she touched him with her thick, stubby fingers on which she wore many ugly old rings. See seemed to stroke his had with her thumb before pressing her thumb hard into the open wound. He did not show any reaction. He did not even look her in the eye.

“Tut, tut, I don’t seem to have made much of an impression yet,” she said, smiling. “Well, we’ll just have to try again tomorrow evening, won’t we? You may go.”

Cale left her office without a word. The school was quite deserted; it was surely past midnight. Walking away he went to the nearest bathroom and washed the blood away. He then pulled out a pair a black gloves and put them on. It would be best not to show the others his wound until he decides to send the witch away.

He needed a bit more to work with because she was so high within the government. He made it back into the dorms and nodded at Beacrox who was still awake.

"What was it?" Beacrox asked with narrowed eyes watching for anything that might give Cale away.

"I had to write lines. I have to go back again tomorrow and probably the nest day. Its a bit exhausting but fine." Cale responded getting his things to wash up. He gave nothing away.

"Hmm"

____

The second and third detentions were just as bad as the previous one. The skin on the back of Cale's hand was going to become scared he was sure of it. He wondered when Umbridge would, perhaps, be satisfied. He let no gasp of pain escape him, however, and from the moment of entering the room to the moment of his dismissal, again past midnight, he said nothing but “good evening” and “goodnight.”

He gave nothing away to anyone.

Friday came and Cale had a bit more to work with on Umbridge. She had been walking up behind his while her wrote. Stroking his hair and grabbing his shoulders. She kept saying things that should not be said to children.

"You look much like a girl Cale. I wonder how you would look in a skirt. Maybe I'll ask you to model for me later." things as such.

He had tried to bring it up to his people. The words would not leave his lips. He also could not remove the glove he had put on his hand when he tried in front of someone. It was getting quite annoying but the crybaby was working on it.

-Cale don't worry! Crybaby will get it done and we can burn this bitch!!

Cheapsake and the others were also very unhappy with the women.

After a few more hours of brutalizing his hand Umbridge spoke up.

"Come. Lets see if the lesson sunk in yet."

Cale got up and placed his hand in her out stretched hand. This time she do not only hold his hand. She pulled him close and squeezed his hand with all her might.

Every part of Cale's body screamed in pain at that moment and his legs gave way. She held on though. She kept the pressure on his hand until Cale let out an unwilling whimper of pain. By the time she let go Cale was flushed and nearly crying. He was panting and had bitten into his bottom lip until it had bleed.

"Well i must say. Blood looks quite good on you Cale. This is how you should be so I suppose i can let you go now."

Cale got up with all the willpower he could manage. He stepped out of her office and started walking aimlessly. He was walked down a hallway a few minutes later when a door appeared out of nowwhere. I was almost compelling Cale to go in it. So he did.

He walked into a forest. It was spacious and looked as if it continued forever. Cale wanted to get lost in it and stay there. But he finally had everything he needed to destroy Umbrige.

_____

It was the next day when the crybaby spoke his mind again. He was sitting in the library with his Slytherins, Choi Han, Luna, and Harry trying to hide his discomfort because of the throbbing spreading from his hand all the way through his arm.

-Cale! I can finally get rid of this bad stuff!!. I have it all gathered up and just need to push it out. I'm doing it now! You might faint!

-wait not no-

I was way too late for Cale to protest. He sat up straight ignoring to looks he got from those around him and covered his mouth with his hand. He kept it there until the pressure built up and he needed to breathe.

cough..cough.

Blood spilled from his mouth and nose. It was so much that he bent over a clutched the table for support.

"Cale!!!" Everyone yelled.

That was the last this Cale heard before it all went black.

Chapter 14: We know.

Chapter Text

Chapter 12

......Cale walked through the school toward the place Hogwarts had given to him. The door opened but instead of a forest a room full of anything and everything appeared. He let his feet carry him into the room for a bit until he stopped right in front of a blue and silver tiara shaped as a bird. It was filled with bad magic.

"this is what you are looking for.....hurry and destroy it. I'm sorry I could not help you child of death and nature......"
.......................

When Cale opened his eyes it seemed as if no time had passed at all. His group was still gathered around him with worried faces and he was still coughing blood. Someone had turned him on his side so he would not choke and Blaize was gone from sight.

"...where is Blaize?" He asked after he finally stopped coughing. He and the floor around him was covered in blood.

-Cale you have a bit before you will faint again......! Sorry! you need to faint for it to be less painful. I've never had to remove magic from your blood before.

"He is getting Madam Pomfrey the healer." It was Theo who answered. He was standing in between Cale and a few other students. He had quite a vicious look in his eyes. Why was he angry?

"Cale. What is this?" Beacrox held up his left hand and Cale almost smiled. His eyes widened. It had worked.

Right as Cale was about to sentence that stupid witch to death and get her away from the children in this school he began to feel faint again and blood ran from his nose. He fell backward as Choi Han caught him. Ignoring the panic around him he managed to whisper a single word before falling back into unconsciousness.

"D-detention."

________
Choi Han loves many things. He loves plants and animals. He loves small and big cute things. He loves getting stronger. He loves playing with the children and teaching them to be strong. Most of all he loves his family. Choi Han loves Cale Henituse. Cale was the one who gave him his family. He was the one who saved him from his despair. Choi Han never wanted to see Cale get hurt. However 10/10 times that's what happens.

When they came to this school Choi Han was excited. He had already made some friends and it should be an easy mission. There were no threats. No one was strong enough to hurt him and he was watching Cale like a hawk. He trusted Beacrox to keep Cale safe when he wasn't with him.

When Choi Han had the first class with Cale it was interesting. He did not like how the women looked at Cale. He did not like when she gave him detention even when he was right. He especially did not like when Cale said that he would go alone. But when Cale makes up his mind he could do nothing but watch.

He knew something was wrong when Cale started wearing that glove on his left hand. It would never come off. He knew something was wrong as Cale started to not use his left hand more and more. He would keep that hand close to him like it was injured. But when he asked Cale he said his hand was cold. He would always open and close his mouth a few times before actually answering as if he was trying to say something else and couldn't. Choi Han was not the smartest but he figured that Cale must not be able to talk about it.

He shared this with Beacrox of course. The other agreed and they were going to wait till Cale figured out a way he could tell them what was going on.

But that was until now.

That was until Cale sat up and started coughing blood like he was going to die and fainted.

No this is not Choi Han's first time experiencing his friend covered in his own blood. He should be used to it by now.

But he is just as mad, scared, and worried as the first time it happened.

They grab Cale and place him on the floor on his side so he does not choke.

"What is going on? What's wrong with him?" Draco asked from where he was crouching on the ground. "Someone go get a healer!" He shouted.

"I'll go!" Blaize quickly got up and ran out of the library.

"What is with all this yell..Oh, Merlin! Everyone back!" A witch Choi Han assumed to be the librarian paled as she saw Cale on the ground covered in blood. He looked dead if not for the rise and fall of his chest.

"No! Everyone back! Now!" Theodore yelled pulling two long knives from his sleeves.

"Mr. Nott. I need to assess the situation. Please put your knives away." the librarian said as she and the other students who had gathered around backed away a few feet.

Choi Han appreciated Theo. He did not know if he would be able to let anyone close when Cale was like this.

"We have him until Blaize gets back with Madam Pomfrey," Theo said standing guard between Cale and the other students.

"He'll be alright. It seems that his body is cleaning magic out of it. Harmful magic." Luna said from where she had crouched next to Cale.

"Beacrox.. take that glove of his hand." Choi Han said.

Beacrox complied.

Choi Han had never felt anger consume his entire body like he nad when he saw what Cale was covering with that glove.

'I must know my place'

It was written in Cale's handwriting. It looks deep as well. As if he wrote that phrase over and over again into his hand.

Beacrox's hand was shaking. Choi Han had never been scared of Beacrox but from the look in his eyes, he was glad he was not going to be on the receiving end.

Cale woke up after a few tense moments and he stopped coughing. He sat up a bit and asked in a weak voice where Blaize was. Theo answered him.

"Cale. What is this?" Choi Han heard Beacrox ask Cale. He documented every twitch in Cale's face and body. He would know if his friend tried to lie. He was sure it was that witch but he needed to be sure he got the right person.

Before Cale could answer though he staggered and fell. Choi Han caught him before he hit the ground. His nose was bleeding again.

He was going to make whoever caused this regret the day they were born.

"D-detention" Cale whispered to him before falling limp again.

"Did everyone hear that?" He asked those around him still holding Cale.

"I got it," Theo said as the other Slytherins nodded. It seemed that no one past Theo heard to though.

"Out of the way!" A commanding voice broke through the students and Blaize and a witch rushed through the crowd.

"Merlin's beard! Lift him forward! We can't let the blood flow into his throat." The witch. Madam Pomfrey said as soon as she got over her shock.

Choi Han did as instructed. Carefully he leaned Cale forward and let the blood flow out of the other nose to the ground.

"Let me do a diagnostic charm. Does anyone know what happened?"

"No. He suddenly started coughing blood an fainted. He was awake a moment ago. You just missed him." Draco supplied the nurse.

"What! It seems like he has a blood cure that his body is cleansing itself of. He also had a wound from a blood quill. Ah, I see it now. We need to move him to the Hospital Wing. Would you carry him there young man? Do any of you know how he got this wound?" She rambled a bit before pointing toward the writing.

"We asked before he fainted again. He said detention, Madam."

"Detention? We will deal with it once he is healed."

With that Choi Han stood up with Cale in his arm. He was still bleeding.

He followed the healer out of the library with his friends flowing close behind.

"Write a letter to your dad." Choi Han said.

"I was already going to do that. Tch." Beacrox responded.

"You should also write to the goblins," Luna said from Choi Hans Left. When he raised his eyebrow in question she continued.

"He is under their protection is he not? Umbridge just harmed him. It's like the wixen's declared war with the Creature Nations."

Choi Han nodded and glanced at Beacrox who also nodded.

"Will he be alright?" Harry asked. He and Cale had gotten a bit close after Cale had helped him control his temper. He felt quite guilty that Cale was hurt.

"He'll be alright." Choi Han said confidently.

How was he supposed to explain this to the children?

Choi Han sweatdroped. It would not be a fun conversation.

Chapter Text

Choi Han was standing guard. It was something he unfortunately did quite often. Cale was always sacrificing himself and overusing his powers to the point of fainting.

Only this time he was not lying faint in a medical be because of his powers.

No.

It was because of some bitch.

A bitch who thought herself better than Cale according to the words Choi Han was staring at on the other hand.

"I'm sorry Choi Han but I need to get close to him so I can treat that cursed cut on his hand. I swear I won't do the boy any harm." The healer had been trying to get past him for the past 10 minutes.

It was quite annoying. Why would he let her any closer? A teacher had already harmed one of his own. Why should he trust this one?

"Choi Han. She is trustworthy. I swear it on my mother's honor."

Luna's dreamy voice pulled him out of his thoughts. Luna was Cale's friend. She was his as well. Choi Han trusted her.

So he lowered the sword he had held between himself and the healer.

"Fine."

"Thank you."

The healer witch rushed over to Cale and began inspecting his left hand. It was still leaking blood even though Cale had stopped bleeding through the nose and mouth. She took a lotion thing out and started rubbing it on the wound after she cleaned it. Then she wrapped the hand in cloth.

"It seems Heir Henituse has fallen into a magical coma. His magic tired itself trying to get the curse out. He should wake up in a few days. "

As the healer said that Beacrox slammed through the door.

"You sent it?"

"Yes. Azrael seemed to understand the situation. They should be hear soon."

"Who?" Pansy looked confused at the too.

"My father and Eruhaben. They are our guardians." Beacrox left out the fact that he did send a letter to the Goblin nation.

_________________

Ron and Eruhaben were enjoying a good lunch with Oliver when a different elf came crashing through the door.

"King Oliver! Sir Beacrox sent word from Hogwarts! Physis has been injured!"

"What" The cup in Eruhaben's hands cracked.

"Ho" A knife stabbed into the table out of nowhere as Ron took in the news.

"Injured! How?" Oliver's eye seemed to glow with magic.

"He is in a magical coma. A teacher it seemed used a blood curse so he could not speak of the injuries."

"Tch. We are going. Do you have the coordinates for this Hogwarts?"

________
King Ragnok was enjoying a meal when Knarlak came in with a hard look on his face.

"What is it?" Something was wrong.

"You Majesty I received word from Hogwarts. Physis was injured by a teacher there." \

"Oh," The butter knife in the king's hand bent. "It seems that the wixens are getting a bit arrogant. Send for the council. Her Majesty the Queen as well. She would want to know as well."

____

Four people got letters.

King Blaze of the Ifrit Elven Tribe immediately left for the meeting place. Who would DARE hurt the child of nature? He would love to rip them to shreds.

King Snyoralfur was angry of course. The temperature dropped around him. He had not met the boy but no one deserved to be injured by a teacher. This boy was Physis. He was to be cherished. Snyoralfur would avenge him.

Lilith Birsha was a simple woman. She had three rules. 1. Never hurt children. 2. justice is justice. 3. Never lay your hands on those she considers hers to protect. Physis was on of her own. She had not met him but he was of nature as she was of nature. He was also a child. Justice is justice.

King Phaos was not happy. The World Tree branch had told him much about Physis. How the boy was so strong yet so weak. The boy was a leader and survived many battles. He came to have a simple year. Yet some teacher, who was supposed to be protecting him, hurt him. HOW DARE THIS HAPPEN!

"Ho! It seems that we have let the wizards run a bit wild if they think they can hurt children in a school."

"It seems so Your Majesty. I will get your bag ready to leave."

"Hmm yes. You do that."

The other walked out of the room rather frightened. He had never seen the queen quit this angry.

___

Cale was in dream land planting crops with his family.

He would never know the amount of chaos that erupted around the world at that moment.

It would go down in wizard history.

Chapter Text

When Cale woke it was a bit hazy. He could bearly move his body. He was quite tired.

-88...89...90...91.....92....93.....

"Raon," Cale said with a hoarse voice after staring at the ceiling for a few seconds.

"Cale-nim!"

-Human!

"Nya~"

"Young Master!"

Voices surrounded Cale and he could finally see who else was with him. They all were standing over him. Finally in his line of sight.

"Help me up. I seem to be quite weak right now."

"Of course Cale-nim" Choi Han said as he helped move Cale into a sitting position. Beacrox places several pillows behind Cale to help with comfortability.

Looking around Cale saw his Slytherins, Harry, Choi Han, Luna, and his kids. They were surrounding his bed looking quite relieved. They were in a large room that had multiple beds in it.

"Where are we? How long was I out?" Cale asked still in a hoarse voice. This throat seemed to be soar from coughing all that blood.

"Ah. Surprisingly you weren't out for long. Just 30 minutes since you last woke up. We are in the Hospital Wing." Draco answered.

Cale had managed to change some of the other Slytherin's opinions on quite a few things. They had a bit of talk with most of the house about how things worked in the world. If all muggles died this would happen. If there was no dark magic this would happen. They all seemed to take his words to heart. Some still come to ask his questions whenever they think of them. It's only been a week into this school but he thinks that he can work with the students to help this world.

"Thank you Draco," Cale said with a small smile. "I should probably explain why I'm like this."

"Please do," Pansy whispered. She had quite a vicious look in her eyes. Why did he always befriend the vicious ones?

When Cale was about to explain Umbridge and how he started coughing blood the doors slammed open causing Cale to flinch.

Choi Han, Beacrox, and Theo (?) all pulled out their weapons and stood ready to attack. Luna and the other girls inched closer to Cale and put their hands over their wands in preparation for an attack. Harry and Blaize were beside Cales to his right and left with their wands ready.

All the Heads of Houses as well as Dumbledore and Umbridge walked into the room and headed straight there. Madam Pomfrey scrambled out of her office. She looked eyes with Cale. She seemed surprised he was awake.

"Put your stuff away," Cale muttered as the teacher neared.

"hmm."

Everyone put their weapons away but stayed ready for an attack.

"My boy I see you awake. Though you seem quite pale. Did your condition relapse?" Dumbledore asked with a fake twinkle in his eye.

Choi Han did not let any of the teachers pass him so they were stuck quite a few feet away from the bed.

-Wow! This old man knew exactly what was going on and didn't do anything.

Cale thought.

"Goodness! What are you doing to my patient?" Madam Pomfrey stormed over with a potion bottle and a cup of water in her hand in her hand. Choi Han let her through almost immediately. "Here honey, a blood replenisher and some water for your throat. You lost quite a lot of blood."

Cale nodded at the witch in thanks before examining the potion. He did not know he could take this potion.

-Cale! This potion is good! it will help! Drink it!!!

Well, that answers that. Crybaby seemed a bit excited. Cale drank that potion before drinking the cup of water. He could feel the potion spreading throughout his body. It seemed to be helping.

"Thank you." His voice sounded a bit better.

"Yes, you welcome. Now why was there a blood curse in you?"

Cale heard an intake of breath at that and glanced at the teachers. Dumbledore and Umbridge seemed to have paled at that.

According to the Hogwarts rule book a person could bring in dark items only after having the approval by the Headmaster.

"Blood curse?" McGonagall muttered looking worried.

"What is going on?" Severus Snape seemed to be worried as well.

He had two classes with both of these professors and liked both of them. He did not know why they seemed to be worried though. He was fine.

"Yes. When I did a diagnostic spell. It said he was suffering under a blood curse and a cursed wound. They are both quite recent. Which means they happened in this school." Madam Pomfrey spoke quite sternly to the other teachers.

She turned back to Cale and spoke in a softer tone.

"Honey, would you tell me who did this to you?"

Cale did not like being interrupted. But it seemed that it was all that happened now as before he could open his mouth to answer Dumbledore spoke.

"Excuse me. It seems that someone just entered Hogwarts grounds and is heading toward us." He seemed almost relieved that someone was invading.

"Ah! They must be here!" Choi Han said with a bright smile.

That was alarming. "Who?" Cale asked he was almost hesitant.

"Ron and Eruhaben! Who else Young Master?" Beacrox answered in a whisper making sure only the students could hear.

"BANG!"

The door once again opened. This time however it was pushed open with such force that it hit the walls.

"I feel him in this room." Cale heard Eruhaben say as he walked into the room.

They locked eyes and Cale paled a bit.

"Young Master!" "Child!" "Heir Cale!"

Three people rushed in.

Eruhaben

Ron

and Bill Weasley? What was he doing here?

They rushed past the teacher and were by Cale in an instant. Eruhaben started going over his body finding any injuries. Ron stopped by Choi Han and Beacrox and was having a hushed conversation with them. Bill stood beside Luna on his left watching with a hard look.

"Cale I'm going to take this bandage off," Eruhaben spoke after finding his hand.

"Ok." Cale tried to stop his hand from shaking.

It did not work.

"Who are you?" Dumbledore spoke after finding his voice. Cale had almost smiled at the man's face of surprise when the three walked in.

"I'm Ron Molan. This is Eruhaben. Cale, Choi Han, and Beacrox are under our authority while they are away from home." Ron spoke without even looking at Dumbles. He was watching Cale with a cryptic look in his eye.

"You should know me, Headmaster. Bill Weasley. I'm here in representation of the Goblin Nation. King Ragnok did not take the news that his ward had been injured." Bill was also not looking at the man when he spoke.

They did not see the way the man seemed to age 30 years. Cale did. He wanted to laugh.

The room temperature dropped. Cale saw Ron pull and knife out of nowhere and start sharpening it. Choi Han kept pulling his sword in and out. The others all seemed to glare.

"Cale what is this? Who did this." Cale had never heard Eruhaben's voice so soft yet so terrifying.

"Um. I didn't do anything this time." He managed to choke out.

"I know. Who. Did. It?" Eruhaben asked again. He was holding and inspecting the wound.

Cale's hand was still shaking.

"It was a blood quill. I had to write lines in detention. I couldn't talk about it." He responded quietly. He was a bit scared of Eruhaben right now so he stared down at his lap.

"Ok. Who made you write lines? Cale who?" Eruhaben asked again.

"Professor Umbridge." He finally said.

There was a hissing of breath and multiple gasps around the room.

"Thank you, Cale. You must be tired. Why don't you go back to sleep."

After Eruhaben said that Cale realized how tired he was. He nodded a bit before slowly closing his eyes. He did not see the cold looks of his people or the shaking eyes of everyone else. He did not feel the walls and ground shake as Hogwarts started talking with Eruhaben.

_________
-Hello Sir! Your a dragon right? Cale didn't want me to tell anyone or do anything. But he told you first so now I can talk. I don't want to young one to hear. That lady in pink! She has this quill that she made Cale use. It hurt him and put bad magic in him. I couldn't stop it. The quill is in her desk. That old man knows.

"You in pink. You DARE hurt my child?" Eruhaben growled out.

"That child is lying. I would never hurt a child." The witch in pink, Umbridge spoke.

"I trust that you will let me look at your desk then." Eruhaben challenged.

"No! That is an invasion of privacy." The witch spat out.

"Hmm. Choi Han, Beacrox. Go find it."

"Yes sir." They both said as they moved out of the room. They usually don't obey orders for anyone but Cale. This was a special occasion.

As they left they passed by two individuals who were entering the open doors of the room.

"Just what is going on here?" A man yelled.

"Cornelius Fudge" A boy with pale white hair, whispered to the two with confused looks of thier faces. "This minister. Amelia Bones, Head of the Law enforcement."

"My niece sent me a letter that said a student was near death. He had bled so much it had to be a curse."

"Yes. The student, Cale Henituse claims that it was Dolores Umbridge who made him write with a cursed blood quill. His magic seemed to have noticed a cruse in his blood and tried to get rid of it by sending all the bad blood out. It worked." Madam Pomfrey spoke to the two who stood by the teachers.

"What utter nonsense! Umbridge is a ministry official I sent. I'm sure you put the boy up to this Dumbledore."

"Found It Eruhaben!" Choi Han ran back into the room to the ancient dragon holding a box. Beacrox was following close behind carrying a separate box. He was walking rather slowly. Eruhaben saw he was quite mad.

"Thank you, Choi Han," Eruhaben said taking to box and watching the witch lose all the blood on her face.

He opened the box to find a quill oozing bad magic. The metal tip looked to be covered in blood. Eruhaben instantly knew it was covered in Cale's blood. He held up the quill and watched Bones' face harden and the minister's face pale.

"It seems that my child was not telling any lies. Where do you find this Choi Han?"

"Her top drawer. You will want to see what is in the other box as well." Hoho Choi Han was quite mad as well.

What is in that second box?

Beacrox finally walked up to Eruhaben and handed him the closed box. He grabbed Choi han and the two of them stood in between the bed and the others.

Eruhaben opened the box and blanked out. Inside to box were pictures. Moving pictures show Cale writing with the quill. Some of them were just of Cale sitting in a chair staring at the ground. In one he looked to be in so much pain his eyes were watering. In a different one, it was Cale kneeling holding his bleeding hand to his chest staring blanking at the ground.

There were too many pictures to count.

"It seems that the evidence is pilled against you." Eruhaben spat out. It was taking everything in him to hold back his aura and not rip the witch to pieces.

"Dolores Umbridge you are under arrest. You need to come with me." Bill spoke walking tward the witch.

"Why would she go with you, Bill? It is my job to arrest Umbridge?" Bones said as she moved between the two.

"Cale Henituse is under the protection of the Goblin Nation as well as the U.F.C. If you do not wish to enter a war with the nations you will hand over the prisoner who harmed our ward," Bill said with a cold look.

The other teachers paled and their mouths dropped.

"H..How?"

"That is confidential. Hand her over."

"Very well."

"Thank you."

"No! I will not go to some Disgusting creatures" Umbridge yelled trying to run away. Bill shot a spell at her that resulted in her falling hard to the ground. He tried her hands and forced her back up.

"Get. Your. Hands. Off!" The witch yelled.

"No can do," Bill said with a smile. He fired another spell that took away the other voice.

"I will send a letter in a bit Sir Eruhaben," Bill said with a nod before disappearing with a crack. He had taken both boxes with him. Most likely as evidence.

"Now. Everyone but family.....and friends I suppose..Out! My patient is sleeping and I would like to keep it that way." Madam Pomfrey said as she shooed the rest of the people out of the room.

Cale: Eruhaben has never been scarier than right now.

Eruhaben: How do you talk to a sick child? With a soft voice yes?

Chapter Text

.........
Cale does not know where he is this time. He assumes it is another vision. He is in a large manor. Not as big as his at home but still big. It is decorated in silver and gold.

As he walks through the halls he sees many people walking around with masks on.

interesting?

They had on long black robes as well.

It must be the Dark Lord guy's base Cale decides.

As he walked down yet another hallway he saw a large snake. It is oozing black smoke.

Another Horcrux?

How many times did this man split his soul?

..........

Cale opened his eyes to the same ceiling he saw before falling asleep. Sitting up he notices that he is alone.

Where was everyone? How long had he been asleep this time?

"Ah your awake!" The nurse from last time spoke as she walked out of what Cale assumed to be her office.

"How long have I been asleep?" He asked taking the cup handed to him.

"About 2 days darling. It's Tuesday right now. Your friends are in class and your guardians had to leave. They kicked up a fuss but left after Bill came to collect them. They asked me to tell you to send them a letter when you woke up." She supplied after he drank the water in the cup.

"Hm. Am I free to go?" He asked after a few seconds.

"Yes. You made a full recovery. But here is a rub that you need to put on your hand every morning." She said handing him a container and a set of his clothes that Choi Han had left on Monday.

"Thank you." He whispered as the witch walked away.

________
Cale left after changing. Choi Han had left a long-sleeved white sweater and black pants. He walked through the empty halls in silence. Everyone else was in their last class of the day. People with free periods would be in the library or outside.

Cale wondered who would be taking over the DADA class. It was likely that the ministry would try to send another official to take over the class.

Who though? He did not know.

-Physis! If you open the door to your right I'll take you to the hall with your common room.

"Thank you" He whispered as he opened the door. He walked through the abandoned classroom and opened the door on the other side of the room to the hallway.

He walked down the hallway and whispered the password to the common room. A few people were sitting around the room. As he entered the room they all got up and bowed slightly toward him. It gave him an iffy feeling but he nodded in greeting.

"Are you well Heir Henituse?" A boy from an upper year asked.

"I am well thank you," Cale said as he walked to his usual seat and say down pulling out a book to read while waiting for his Slytherins.

"I'm glad. No teacher should bother you again." The boy said but Cale was already reading so he absent-mindedly nodded.

The Slytherin in the common room all nodded to each other and sat back down. Cale was ignorant of it all.

_________

"Young Master!"

Cale glanced up as he heard Beacrox yell. The others were walking through the door with shocked looks on their faces. They looked healthy so Cale smiled a bit. He was worried they may have gotten into trouble while he was resting.

"Beacrox. Hello." Cale responded as they got close.

"Are you better? Is your body healed? What about your hand." Blaize asked as he crouched in front of Cale. It was surprising. He didn't know that he made good connections with these people.

"I'm all better. Madam Ponfrey cleared me." Cale said as everyone gathered around him.

"Will you be coming to dinner?" Draco asked looking a bit worried.

"Hmm. Yes. Has something happened?"

"Well the new DADA teacher is going to be announced. Who knows who that fool asked to come!"

Well, this should be interesting.

Chapter Text

It was a few hours until Dinner so they hung out in the common room while Blaize left to tell Choi Han Cale was ok. They would meet at dinner.

Cale was quite curious about who Dumbles had called. If it was his call at all. The ministry might try to fill the position with one of them again. It was possible that either could happen. Regardless Cale suspects that his friends may not treat the next teacher kindly.

Draco and Theo were playing a game of chess while Cale read. The others were talking about the past week. Everyone had given up trying to beat Cale in a game of chess. It had only been about two weeks of school and Cale had beaten everyone who challenged him. Upperclass men as well.

"Young Master, it's time to head to the Great Hall," Beacrox said as he nudged Cale a bit drawing him out of his head.

"Let's go then." He said as he stood up. The others had already packed everything away and were waiting for him.

They all walked toward the great hall in a group. Cale did not notice the other students' stares.

"AH Physis!" Cale heard Luna yell from a bit away. He stopped and looked around until he spotted her walking toward him from down a hall to his left.

"Luna. Would you like to join us?" He asked when she got close enough to hear him without him having to raise his voice.

"I would love to. I hope you are feeling better." She says walking right next to Cale.

"I feel great." I was true. He was feeling great. That crybaby did some magic.

Once they made it to the hall they all headed to the middle of the Slytherin table. Cale sat down right in the center and the rest followed.

He did not notice that everyone had stood up as he walked over. He did not see he was the first person in his house to sit. He did not see the other Slytherins waiting for him to sit before they sat back down. He was too busy listening to Luna talk about her father's newsletter.

His friends did notice and sent each other smirks. This is how it should be.

They were a few minutes early and only about half the professors were seated. Choi Han and Harry were not found in the hall but Cale was sure they would be there soon and two seats were waiting for them should they want to sit at the Slytherin table.

"Cale do you have any thoughts on the new DADA professor?" Theo quietly asked from across from Cale.

"hmm. They would either be one of Dumbeldor's people or someone from the ministry. I think the ministry would want to place someone in that position because they are afraid of the headmaster. However, Dumbledore may be faster and place one of his in the position."

"I agree," Theo said before turning back to Blaize.

Everyone close enough to Cale was listening. They wanted to see if he could predict the new professor.

"I think it will most likely be one of the old man's." Cale finished turning toward the doors of the great hall.

It didn't take too long for Choi Han and Harry to make it into the hall. After looking around they made their way over to the Slytherin table.

"Cale-nim how are you doing?" Choi Han asked as he sat to Cale's right. Harry greeted the others as he sat. They had gotten over what ever drama they had between them pretty fast. Cale could see Harry and Draco getting along better.

"I feel fine," Cale said as he observed the room further. Harry's two friends where glaring in their direction. "Harry? Did you fight with your friends?"

Harry paused in his conversation with Draco about some sport and answered. "Hm. Oh, Ron and Hermione? Yeah. They didn't like how I was making new friends and got mad at me. We aren't talking right now."

"They didn't like that you were making new friends?" Cale asked confused. What kind of friend would want you to be antisocial?

"Well yeah."

"Hmm. That's interesting." Cale said and turned away.

A bit later he heard the teacher's door swing open. Dumbledore and a man walked in. He was wearing robes of blues and purples. It looked quite good on the man but Cale doubted he could pull it off himself.

The man shook hands with some of the other teachers and sat where umbitch sat just a few days before.

"Everyone this is Kingsley Shacklebolt. He will be the DADA teacher. I hope you learn much from him." Dumbledore yelled out as food showed on the tables.

Cale observed many people trading money under the table confused.

"It's Dumbledore Person. He works as an auror in the ministry but he is without a doubt the old man's" Theo spoke up after noticing Cale's confusion.

Cale nodded his head at him then started eating.

"Young master, my father asks that you drink your tea." Beacrox said as he placed a teacup in Cale's hand.

It was lemonade.

Cale's hands shook as he drank the sour concoction.

He hoped that the next DADA lesson would be worth his time or if her should ignore school and just get out of this world.

Notes:

Ron: Make sure he drinks the lemon tea.

Beacrox: Father you know he doesn't lik.

Ron: Make. Sure. He. Drinks. His. Tea.

Chapter 20: peace

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

The next few days were peaceful. Kingsley was a good teacher. He did not discriminate, though he was paying close attention to the Cale, and treated the kids equally. The Kids were allowed to practice the spells in class.

It was nice. Cale finally relaxed a bit.

Now Cale's group was back at their study spot in the library. Cale was reading a book about the History of Creatures while his friends were studying. Luna, Harry, Blaize, Beacrox, Pansy, and Thoe were all reviewing the DADA materials. Correcting essays they all had to write as "homework". What's Draco doing? Well, he is trying to help Choi Han with potions. The key word is trying. Cale knew how disastrous his cooking was and opted out of trying to help. Choi Han was hopeless........

It was about 2pm on a Tuesday. The last class of the day was Potions with Professor Snape. Cale partnered with Blaize. It had been about a week since school started and they were finally allowed to brew a potion. It was a simple potion for the first of the year, a calming potion.

Cale finished with Blaize early. It was a perfect potion, according to Blaize. Cale didn't really care to much so he sat back down to read.

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A loud sound shook the room.

All of a sudden Cale had been tackled to the floor with someone over him, shielding him from the blast. Cale opened his eyes, he didn't even realize he shut them, to see Beacrox and blaize in front of him. It took him a moment to stand back up. He scanned to room trying to find out where the blast came from only to see a sheepish-looking Choi Han apologizing to the Professor. Snape looked stunned.

"I could not even guess what you did to make your potion explode like that." The professor said.

......

He then ranted on for the rest of the class time about how stunned he was. "In all my years of teaching, I have never.." you get the point.

Snape assigned Draco, the best at potions in their year, to help the poor guy. Cale did not pray to gods but he sent a silent prayer for Draco. Considering how frustrated Draco looked right now though. Cale did not think it helped at all.

After studying a bit they decided to go on a small walk around the castle. Cale didn't know why they wanted to move so much but they dragged him along. As they were walking Cale noticed a few people flying on brooms playing a game. He stopped to watch for a bit. It was quite interesting. Though Cale would never want to play the game. It looks tiring.

The others took a bit to notice Cale had stopped but looking back they saw him looking a the Hufflepuff practice. He looked interested.

"Hey guys do y'all want to have a small match later?" Blaize asked to hope that the others would answer apparently.

"YES!"

"That sounds fun!"

"I wouldn't be opposed to the idea."

Cale didn't know why everyone wanted to play the game, but when they all turned to him with excited looks, he could only agree.

"It's settled! Let's have a friendly match. The Puffs should be off the pitch once we get there." Draco said. Cale thought this was the first time the boy looked like a kid. It made it smile just a bit.

His friend all smiles in triumph at this though. They thought Cale must be happy that they would be playing a game of quidditch.

"Let's go!" Harry yelled rushing through the castle with the others following him.

_____

The teams were as follows.

Team one: Cale, seeker. Choi Han and Theo are chasers. Luna, the keeper.
Team Two: Harry, seeker. Blaize and Pansy are chasers. Beacrox, the keeper.

They decided that they would only use the Snitch and the Quaffle. They didn't have enough people for two full teams and they didn't want anyone to get hurt because of the bludgers.

Draco as the Ref started the game. A few people had joined the stands to watch. Cale ignored them.

Cale flew around for a bit while Choi Han and Theo passed the Quaffle around. He turned into his wind's ancient power to feel the air around him. He wanted to get this over with fast.

It only took a few seconds before he had the snitch pinpointed. He wouldn't lose it. He speeds toward the ground fast in a deep dive. It was toward the center on the pitch a few feet off the ground.

Harry seemed to have caught on to the snitch as well but he was a bit late. When he started toward it Cale was already halfway there.

Once the snitch started moving away Cale barely used his wind to slow it down. You wouldn't even notice Cale was doing anything.

Cale wrapped his hand around the Snitch.

Cheers erupted around him as he pulled back up. He didn't want to crash to the ground.

There were a lot more people in the stands than he thought. As he scanned them he saw one of the upper years that asked if he was ok after that hospital visit. So flashed a smile and waved at him. Crazy enough the student's nose started to bleed at that moment. Hopefully, the boy went to the nurse Cale thought as he flew back toward his friends who had settled down in the middle of the pitch.

"Cale that was amazing!" Harry yelled out with stars in his eyes.

"The game only lasted about 4 minutes. We should play another and change the teams!" Draco said.

"Choi Han, Beacrox when was the last time you spared?" Cale asked panicked. He did not want to play again. Not no. Not ever.

"We haven't since coming here. We should spar." Beacrox mumbled looking irritated at Choi Han who looked worried.

"You don't have your great sword. Wouldn't it be unfair?" Choi Han said. Cale flinched when Beacrox turned from irritated to angry.

"I would win either way." He said getting in Choi Han's personal space.

"You wouldn't win!"

With that Cale and the others went to the stands while Choi Han and Beacrox stayed in the pitch. Once he was settled Cale used his want and taped his throat.

"Alright! Rules for this match are No killing, miming, or severely hurting each other, no using magic, no messing up the pitch. With at Begin." Cale barely raised his voice but it was heard around the pitch. Even more students had gathered in the stands.

After Cale finished speaking Choi Han and Beacrox were at it. You could bearly see them with how fast they were attacking each other. This was normal to Cale but was a wonder to everyone else. The stands had gone silent. Choi Han had pulled out his sword and Beacrox his knives. They were attacking each other relentlessly. It was a sight to see.

After about 30 minutes it was getting close to dinner. Cale was hungry and it was clear that neither would win any time soon so Cale did what he usually did to stop the sparing in his house. He released his dragon aura a bit.

"Alright, it's been 30 minutes. You done. It's another draw." Cale said watching as the two boys stopped.

He did not notice everyone in the stands freeze and turn to look at him as he got up to leave. He was too busy helping luna fix her hair.

Notes:

Cale: Having the aura of a dragon is normal.

Everyone else: NO IT'S NOT!!!!!!!!

Chapter 21: Tiara

Summary:

sorry for the short chapter!

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Cale had been wandering the castle with Choi Han and Raon. during their free period when he felt it. He felt a slight pull down a hall way. Like something was edging him to walk down it. So feeling adventurous he started walking down it.

When he was about halfway down the hallway he saw a door. This was where the pull was the strongest. Tilting his head, Cale studied the door for a moment.

-Human! This door seems fun! It's not dangerous let's see what's behind it.

"Hmm, alright."

Cale lifted his hand about to push the door open but before he could touch it the door slammed open by itself.

Inside it seemed to be a room of junk. There were piles upon piles of random things. After looking for a bit Cale recalled the vision he had forgotten about.

"......Cale walked through the school toward the place Hogwarts had given to him. The door opened but instead of a forest a room full of anything and everything appeared. He let his feet carry him into the room for a bit until he stopped right in front of a blue and silver tiara shaped as a bird. It was filled with bad magic.

"This is what you are looking for.....hurry and destroy it. I'm sorry I could not help you child of death and nature......"
......................."

He started tracing the steps he had taken in the vision. He finally stopped in front of a black box. He picked it up and opened it to see black wisps of magic coming off of a beautiful blue and silver tiara.

-Human this feels like that cup the goblins had. Are we going to Destroy it?

"Hm. I will purify it." Cale responded patting Raon on the head.

The dragon hadn't been around Cale much because he had made friends with the castle and wanted to learn from her. He had already become much stronger.

"Cale-nim don't push yourself please." Cale did not know why Choi Han was worried but nodded at him. He would never push himself.

-keke It's my turn again!! Let's burn it!

Cale let a small flame light up on his left hand. After debating how he would do it he lowered the tiara into the flame.

It didn't take long for all the magic to be burned out of the tiara. Afterward, it looked like something the Crown Prince would keep in a safe.

"Should we send this to the goblin king?" Cale asked. It seemed like something the King would like. He also hadn't seen Bill since he had taken Umbridge.

-Let's send it to that King!! I will do it! I'm a great and mighty dragon!

One moment the crown was in Cales hand and the next it was gone.

"Hm, You are great and mighty."

The little dragon puffed his chest while Choi Han tried (Failed) to hide his laugh behind his hand.

"Free period is almost done. Let's get back." Cale said already walking out of the room.

"Yes Cale-nim!"

-Human wait for me!!

The other two rushed to keep up with him.

Chapter Text

Cale had a good few weeks after that as well. The kids continued to explore the forest and meet all the creatures that made it their home.

Cale went out with them sometimes to meet the Centaurs and nymphs that made the forest their home. There were also huge spiders that Raon had made friends with. Cale decided to ignore them.

His visions were getting a bit more annoying. He would be walking down the hall to class then wake up with worried students above him.

It was worrying to see these kids so worried all the time.

Eh..... there's nothing much he could do about it until the visions stop.

The most recent on was a recurring vision.

A house elf, Keracher, was crying while trying to destroy a locket. The house elf was apologizing over and over to someone named Regulus. It was pitiful. He could never manage to destroy the locket.

“Roan...On...Hong. It’s play time again.”

“Nya! Really.”

“Nya. Let’s go have fun”

“Human! Tell me where to go!”

“We going for another Horcrux. Raon take us to this place.” Cale Handed the cute baby dragon a peice of paper with the coordinates. He had to send a letter to the king of Goblins but he received good advice so it was worth it.

They would teleport outside the house then sneak in after Raon deal with the alarm magic on the house.

“Alright human! Let’s GO”

And the three of them dissapired right as Beacrox opend the dorm door.

“Young......master”

Huh?

Cale opened his eyes to see they landed on a patch of unkempt grass in the middle of a small square. The grimy fronts of the surrounding houses were not welcoming; some of them had broken windows, glimmering dully in the light from streetlamps, paint was peeling from many of the doors and heaps of rubbish lay outside several sets of front steps.

“Human!! There is an illusion, I’ll get rid of it for us without messing with the alarm!”

“Wow, Dragons are amazing!”

“That right! I’m great and might!”

“He’s right ,Nya~”

“ Nya~ Our youngest is amazing”

“Hmm” Cale nodded at the sibling and looked at the building in front of him. They were standing outside number eleven; he looked to the left and saw number ten; to the right, however, was number thirteen. The illusion must be covering that house then.

After a few seconds a battered door emerged out of nowhere between numbers eleven and thirteen, followed swiftly by dirty walls and grimy windows. It was as though an extra house had inflated, pushing those on either side out of its way.

“Alright Let’s Go.”

“Okay~” Three voices answered as Raon placed an invisiblity and sound spell on the group. They were now stealthily entering the building.

Cale walked up the worn stone steps, with two cat following behind him and a yound dragon clinging to his back. The newly formed doors black paint was shabby and scratched. The silver doorknocker was in the form of a twisted serpent. Huh they must have been a house of Slytherins? There was no keyhole or letterbox. Definitely a wizard house.

“I’ll open it human!”

“Alright”

Cale stepped over the threshold into the almost total darkness of the hall. He could hear the kids oooing and awwing at what they called “a cool place” “A bad magic house”. He could smell damp, dust and a sweetish, rotting smell; the place had the feeling of a derelict building.

Cale heard a soft hissing noise and then old-fashioned gas lamps sputtered into life all along the walls, casting a flickering insubstantial light over the peeling wallpaper and threadbare carpet of a long, gloomy hallway, where a cobwebby chandelier glimmered overhead and age-blackened portraits hung crooked on the walls.

“Thank you Raon.”

“ehe”

Both the chandelier and the candelabra on a rickety table nearby were shaped like serpents. There was a door at the far end off the hallway with hushed voices coming out of it.

Cale recognized Dumbles voice and a womens.

“He’s starting to branch out to other people. He’s even hanging out with those freaks in Slytherin.”

“Calm yourself Mrs Weasly. Young Harry will see they for who they are soon and go back to Ron and Hermione. Everything will work out. The boy will die when the time comes.”

Cale clinched his fist. He knew there was something wrong with the environment surrounding Harry. He was being raised as a pig to the slaughter. Harry would probably walk to his death willingly to save this world. That would have happened if not for Emrys who called Cale here through the God of Death.

“Tsk. Lets finish this fast.”

Cale and the kids moved upstairs. Past many room with name plates and portais covered with cloth.

Until the came to a sitting room with many different objects in it. Kreacher was dusting teh shelves staying far away from the one with the silver locket in it. He was eyeing it with distain.

Cale calmly sat in one of the chairs. And gestured to Raon to get rid of the magic on himself. He felt the two cat siblings climb onto his lap.

-I understand human. I’ll keep myself and my sibling hidden though! Also, I sealed the room!! No one in the house can hear us!!! You can chat!!

Raon is amazing. He is growing so fast.

“Hello, Keracher.”

Eke! The house elf jumped and turned around in fright.

“Huh! Who are you! Trespasser in the might and pure house of black!”

“hmm. I’m a friend of Regulus.”

“What?”

“That locket over there. I can destroy that bad magic in it. Can you give it to me?”

The elf froze for a moment and Cale allowed him the time to gather his thoughts. He then fell the grown and bowed. Tears flowed down his face as he spoke.

“Please. Please. Destroy that thing for my master. Please!” His voice cracked with emotion.

“It will be done. So please calm yourself.” Cale said as he helped the elf back onto his feet.

“Thank you.” The elf picked up the Locket and placed it into Cales hand.

The locket was defiantly a horcrux it reeked dark magic.

-YEah!!!!! I get to do something again! Ha you suckers! Cale uses me the most!!!

The cheapskate yelled in Cales mind. He hear the other protest and defend them selves but he decided to ignore them.

A red and orange flame appeared on Cale palm swallowing the locket. Horrible screeching came from the locket and black smoke started to rise. The process took about 30 seconds then the locket was cleared.

“Thank you! Thank you! Physis i did not recognise you but Thank you!”

Cale ignored the elf a inspected the locked now that if was free of the dark soul within it. It was a locket of heavy gold with a serpentine S in glittering green stone inlay on the front. It looked valuable.

“Do you need the locket?”

“Eh? No please take it.”

-Human!!! The goblin king should have it right??

Cale gave a barely noticeable nod and watched the locket vanish from his palm.

“Alright let get back.” Cale said taking the invisible cats into his arms and standing up.

-Alright!!! Back to the nice castle!

The world faded into black once again.

Far far away in the goblins' thrown room a feast was taking place!

“To the downfall of that toad who called herself a teacher!”

“YEAH!!!”

Glasses wear raised in a toast.

BANG!

“King Ragnok!”

An object had appeared and fallen of the king's head once again!

The king held up the object for inspection.

“What!!!!”

“HAha! He did it again!” the king yelled in excitement, “Its the Locket of Slytherin!”

“AAAAAAA!!!!”

Cheers vibrated through the thrown room as the Goblin rejoiced.

Chapter 23: I don't want to eat this...

Chapter Text

Cale had to help Harry.

The boy reminded him a lot of himself—as Kim Rok Soo.

Alone. Burdened. Carrying the soul of his “fated enemy” in his head. That kind of thing... it had to be affecting him.

Cale had quietly asked Raon to figure out how to remove the soul from Harry before he destroyed it. The last time Cale used the Cheapskate to purify someone, it had been painful—according to Choi Han. That guy ended up dying anyway because of some cursed name, or whatever.

Cale didn’t care about the details.

But this was different. This was a child.

A horcrux or not, Cale couldn’t hurt a child. That was impossible.

Cale was trash—but not a monster.

In another room, Dumbledore sneezed for no apparent reason.
-_-

Harry had been acting... off. Quiet. Detached. He still sat with everyone, but his mind wandered. He said Hermione and Ron were declining his invitations more often, and Cale could tell he was holding something back—probably afraid of getting into trouble.

-Human.

Raon’s voice piped into his mind.

-I found something. I can move the soul—it’s like an ancient power. Similar structure. If it becomes a threat, your other powers can destroy it.

Cale hummed thoughtfully. That made sense. Powers that contained or targeted souls…

He nodded. He trusted Raon.

The group was gathered at the back of the library, where the chairs were soft and idle chatter was tolerated. The others were deep in a discussion about how “light” magic could be used for evil, and “dark” magic for good.

Luna was quietly working on a story she was writing for Cale—something about him needing to remember her when he went home.

Theodore and Beacrox, for some reason, were exchanging notes on assassination techniques.

Cale didn’t ask.

He was smiling faintly, reading a novel Choi Han had grabbed for him. The man had practically forced it into his hands and shoved him into the comfiest chair like Cale wasn’t already planning to sit there.

Raon was in cat form, curled lazily across his shoulders.

The other kids had drifted in and gathered around the group at some point. No one really questioned it.

-Okay, Human! I’ll get started! He shouldn’t notice anything!

True to his word, Harry didn’t react at all. But Cale did feel the magic in the room shift subtly.

Choi Han and Beacrox stiffened. Cale simply waved a hand to reassure them, his fingers brushing over Raon’s small feline head.

Then Cale felt it—something slithered into his chest. It was slimy. Cold. Wrong.

-Huh? What’s this?

-Not money?

-Eww. XXXX.

-Are you sure you want this in you?

-Should I eat this? I kind of don’t want to...

Cale rolled his eyes mentally. Do whatever you want.

-..Okay.

...Wait.

Why is it turning out like this?

Cale suddenly sat up straight, stiff and alert. The others around him stopped talking. Even people outside their circle looked up.

He slapped a hand over his mouth.

“Cale-nim?” Choi Han was at his side in an instant.

“Young Master!” Beacrox's voice was sharper.

-Human? What’s wrong? Nothing should have happened!

-You should have known it would be like this...!
Stupid rock.

Warm, sticky blood slipped past his lips, down his hand, and along his arms.

“Huh!”

Again?

“Cale!”

“I’m fine,” Cale muttered quickly. He wasn’t in pain. He wasn’t even coughing. Just... a little blood. Not a big deal.

You’re driving me crazy!

“Fine!”

The shouting around him was immediate, frantic, angry, and panicked.

And just like that, he was swept up.

Choi Han didn’t even ask. He picked Cale up bridal style, the others cleared a path, and within seconds, they were in the infirmary. Cale was in a hospital bed before he could say another word.

-S-Sorry, Human!!! I am not great and mighty....

Raon was sulking.

Cale sighed.

________________________________________________________________________________

Cale was trying to rest.

Key word: trying.

His sheets were stiff, his shirt was stained with old blood, and Raon was pouting in a corner while muttering (in cale’s head ) about magical backfires and unworthy, slimy soul magic. Cale himself had just managed to ignore the dull throb in his ribs when the door burst open like someone had cast Alohomora with a grudge.

“HARRY, ARE YOU SERIOUS?”

Ron’s voice rang through the room, sharp and angry.

Hermione followed close behind, a tight line between her brows and arms crossed.

“You’ve been avoiding us all week,” she snapped, glaring at Harry, “and then we find out you’ve been spending time with Malfoy Malfoy, Harry—and his friends?

Harry, standing near the foot of Cale’s bed, clenched his fists. “They’re not all like that. You don’t even know them.”

Ron looked like he was about to combust. “Not like that?! One of them literally tried to stab someone with a fork at lunch yesterday!”

“That was Beacrox,” Cale said absently from the bed. “And it was justified.”

Hermione gave him a bewildered look, but Harry stepped forward before she could respond.

“Look, they’re not perfect, alright? But they helped me. When I was spiraling, when I couldn’t sleep, when I needed a distraction, or help with my assignments—” he broke off, eyes darting to Cale. “They didn’t ask questions. They just helped.

“They’re not safe, Harry,” Hermione said more gently now. “Dumbledore wouldn’t approve. And you know Sirius wouldn’t—he’d lose it if he found out you were hanging out with Malfoy and people with Death Eater connections.”

Cale rolled his eyes but kept trying to pet Roan back into happiness.

Harry ignored her. “Sirius wanted me to have choices. He hated how everything was always decided for him. I’m choosing this. I trust them.”

Ron scoffed. “You trust Draco Malfoy ? The guy who called Hermione a slur and tried to get Hagrid fired?”

“He apologized, Ron. He’s trying to change. Not everyone stays the same forever!”

Hermione hesitated. “…Even so, you’re acting like you don’t care how this looks. The Slytherins, the transfer students, Cale’s group—people talk, Harry. They say you’ve switched sides.

At that, Harry’s expression hardened. “Then let them talk. Because when Voldemort comes back, we’re going to need more than Gryffindors and half-hearted alliances. I’d rather be with the people who aren’t afraid to do what has to be done.”

Ron looked ready to throw his hands in the air. “That’s exactly the problem! You think just because someone’s useful, they’re your friend?”

“I’m not frined with them because i find them useful,” Harry said quietly. “They’re loyal and make me happy!

“More loyal than us?” Hermione asked softly.

The question hung in the air.

“…I don’t know,” Harry said finally.

Silence.

Cale stared at the ceiling. This was too much drama for someone who had almost been turned into a magical Horcrux blender a few hours ago. He had a headache from how much the glutton was complaining.

“I’m dying of a headache,” he announced flatly. “Could you not shout in the medical wing?”

“…You’re not dying,” Choi Han muttered from the shadows. Pulling at his sword.

Cale shuddered and looked away to avoid the viscousness.

From the corner, Beacrox sharpened a knife louder than necessary.

Not there.

Pansy and Theodore leaned against the wall, watching with unimpressed looks. Blaise checked his nails.

Eh.

Draco just looked uncomfortable. “For the record, I didn’t ask to be part of this group. They kidnapped me and I've been here ever since.”

Luny looked up, smiling brightly. “And we love your company..”

Draco looked away with a visible blush. Cale heard snickers.

Harry, now visibly frustrated, sat down in a chair beside Cale. “I’m not turning my back on you,” he said to Ron and Hermione. “But I’m not turning my back on them either. They’re my friends.

“…Even if Dumbledore doesn’t approve?” Hermione asked, almost in a whisper.

Harry looked her dead in the eyes.

Especially if he doesn’t.”

“Alright...OUT!!!!!!” Madam Pomfrey had come back from her office with a scowl.

Chapter 24: The ring of Death.

Chapter Text

Cale was out of the infirmary after just a day of observation.

To the other students, it was nothing serious—just that strange “illness” acting up again, as always. The rumors never really stopped with him. But Cale didn’t care much for rumors, and neither did his group.

Choi Han and Beacrox, of course, got the truth. And after a brief but stern scolding from both about “not throwing himself into magical soul extractions without backup,” they gave him a quiet nod of thanks—for helping Harry.

Harry, for his part, had started spending nearly all of his free time with their group. He hadn’t spoken to Ron or Hermione since the argument in the infirmary, and although the silence weighed heavily on him, he said nothing about it.

Instead, their corner of the library had grown livelier. Surprisingly, the Weasley twins had joined them—not as regulars, but often enough to bring chaos and magical pranks along with their loud opinions. A few Hufflepuff students also started hanging around.

Cale didn’t mind. It meant there were more people between him and any more bizarre magical accidents.

What Cale did mind, though, were the dreams.

He kept having the same annoying dream over and over again. GoD would appear, showing him a ring. He'd ramble about how it was something he’d left with a friend, and how to retrieve it without getting hurt. He even warned Cale to be careful purifying it—because it wasn’t for Cale.

It was for Harry.

Why GoD was interested in Harry, Cale didn’t know. He really needed to have a conversation with that guy about endangering children.

The ring was hidden in the remains of the Gaunt family shack, and according to GoD, the defensive spells protecting it could only be dismantled by someone powerful—and trustworthy. So of course, he told Cale not to send anyone else. It had to be him and Roan.

So the two of them set out one night, teleporting away from Hogwarts, the castle whispering its wishes for a safe journey in the back of Cale’s mind.

Little Hangleton was overgrown, wild with brambles and tall weeds that clawed at Cale’s cloak as he passed. The village was quiet. The buildings, long abandoned, were covered in ivy. No one lived here anymore—either gone or dead—but the magic lingered. It felt angry. Heavy.

Roan, curled around his neck in cat form, growled low in his throat. He felt it too. His fur bristled, alert in case the magic decided to act on its own.

They walked through what remained of a garden, weeds choking the path, until they reached a sagging shack. Magic pulsed around it. This had to be the place. It was just as GoD described.

It reminded Cale a little too much of where he’d found the God of War’s divine item, tucked away in the Sekka household's backyard. Another shed. That one hadn’t been soaked in malevolent magic.

Roan slid down from his shoulder and padded over the creaky floorboards, sniffing.

Human, I’ll take care of this magic. It’s not hard—I’m great and mighty!! —he declared proudly.

With a grunt, the little dragon clawed at one corner. A shimmer appeared—enchantments woven into the wood itself. Roan’s paws glowed as he unraveled them with practiced ease. The spells faded quickly, dispersing like harmless particles back into the air.

Cale stepped forward and pushed open the door.

The shed was empty. No tools. No supplies. Just quiet—and a slow, pulsing thrum of dark energy. A soul. Or part of one.

He knelt, pulling out his trusty hoe and pried up a board from the floor.

There it was: a small, ornate golden box, nestled in the hollow beneath. Time hadn’t touched it.

Cale lifted it. The box was cold, heavier than it looked. Inside, resting in black velvet, was the ring. Dark gold. The stone pulsed faintly with death magic. It felt familiar—like the other divine items from the God of Death.

Roan climbed back up onto his shoulder, tail swishing.

Human, are you not going to purify it? Are we giving it to the Goblin King again?

“I will. But not here,” Cale said. “This one’s going to Harry. I’m sure he’ll know when he needs it.”

Outside, they sat on a mossy tree stump. Cale opened the box again and studied the ring.

This one feels stronger, —Cheapstake muttered in his mind.— It must’ve been the first. There's more soul in it than the others.

Cale listened as his ancient power rambled. Then he nodded.

“Let’s do it.”

He pulled the ring from the box and, with a flick of his free hand, summoned a small flame that danced in his palm. The fire crackled with energy.

He dropped the ring into the flame.

The soul within screamed—black and angry, thrashing as it burned. But the ring itself remained untouched.

Cale watched until the last wisp of darkness faded into smoke.

The Horcrux was gone. The ring was clean.

Now he just had one question.

“…How do I give this to Harry?”

________________________________________________________________________________

The Hogwarts library was unusually quiet that afternoon.
Not just "library quiet"—but suspiciously quiet. Even Madam Pince had vanished, probably off threatening some poor first year who had dared to dog-ear a page.

Cale’s group had claimed an entire corner table, much to Madam Pince’s long-standing dismay. Choi Han sat calmly with a book open ( upside down ), looking deeply thoughtful. Raon, currently disguised as a cat, was curled lazily around Cale’s shoulders, batting at the ends of his hair. Blaise was flipping through a thick tome on defensive enchantments, brow furrowed in genuine interest, while Luna was picking at the corner of someone else’s parchment—one he definitely had not been given permission to destroy.

One of the Weasley twins—Fred, probably—had dragged an armful of sweets from the kitchens and was unwrapping them like it was a race against time.

“Shhh!” someone hissed from a nearby table.

“We’re in a library,” Luna whispered back serenely. “ You shush.”

“Raon’s tail is in my tea,” Draco muttered, holding up his cup with a long-suffering look. The tea now bore the telltale sign of cat hair swirling at the top.

“Then don’t drink it,” Cale said, leaning back in his chair. “Problem solved.”

Meanwhile, Harry Potter was sitting several tables over, staring at his parchment like it had personally insulted him. It was what he'd been doing for the past five minutes. He had decided he counld’nt concentrate while sitting with the others and moved away to finish. Beacrox kept glancing at him like he was debating whether to help or judge.

Cale sat up straight suddenly.

“Harry,” he said, drawing the boy’s attention, “I have something for you.”

Raon cracked open one eye.
You’re giving it to him, human?!

Harry blinked. “Is it dangerous?”

“Nope,” Cale said simply.

He reached into his coat pocket, pulled out a small golden box, and slid it across the table. It landed in front of Harry with a satisfying thunk .

Harry looked at it like it might explode. “What…?”

“Open it and find out.”

With a healthy amount of suspicion, Harry slowly opened the lid.

Inside, nestled in black velvet, was a heavy golden ring. It shimmered faintly under the flickering library lamps. The stone embedded in it pulsed with a deep, almost living glow.

At least it wasn’t screaming or biting him. That was a plus.

Harry picked it up carefully. “It’s… a ring.”

“Yep.”

“That’s it?”

“That’s it.”

Looking up from his still-upside-down book, Choi Han called out, “Cale-nim! What is that?”

“A ring,” Cale replied without turning.

Harry, still holding it, glanced around at the group—somehow both chaotic and terrifying—and then back at Cale.

“…Thank you?”

“Enjoy your gift,” Cale said, giving him a satisfied nod before standing, returning to his seat, and stealing one of Luna’s pastries while she was distracted watching a dust mote sparkle in a sunbeam.

Harry looked back down at the ring.

Huh.

He slid it into his pocket and went back to pretending he was reading.

Later that week…

A rumor began spreading like fiendfyre through the halls of Hogwarts.

Was the mysterious Henituse heir courting Harry Potter?

Or worse…

Was he recruiting him ?

Either way, the Slytherins were sweating, the Gryffindors were gossiping, and the Ravenclaws had already made a chart.

And the ring?

Well, it hadn’t done anything.
Yet.

Chapter 25: War is over...

Chapter Text

The Hogwarts library was warm and quiet—peaceful even. The soft rustle of pages turned in unison like whispered conversation. It was late afternoon, and Cale’s group had once again taken over their favorite corner.

Beacrox sat behind Cale, methodically braiding his long red hair with all the seriousness of a man prepping for battle. Choi Han was reading a thick book on magical theory (though it was upside down again. No tried to correct him...they were used to it). Raon was curled around a pile of warm books, purring contentedly in kitten form. Luna hummed as she colored the margins of a Herbology text with tiny, grinning mandrakes. Blaise and Theodore were arguing quietly over the difference between “tactically dramatic” and “unnecessarily reckless.”

Then Harry arrived.

He didn’t walk. He didn’t speak.

He rushed over, wide-eyed, shaking .

Cale didn’t even blink. He held out one hand. He had seen something like this in one of his visions.

“Letter,” he said calmly.

Harry slammed it into his palm. He was too panicked to question how Cale knew it was a letter.

Cale flipped it open with one hand while the other reached out and gently tugged Harry down into the seat beside him. His hand settled on Harry’s back, grounding, steady.

“Breathe,” he said softly. “In. Out.”

Harry tried. He was pale, his whole-body trembling like a frayed wand string.

Choi Han stood up immediately, eyes sharp. Beacrox paused, braid half-finished, but his hand was already drifting toward his belt of hidden knives. Though after clming down a bit he finished the braid quickly.

Luna stopped humming.

Raon sat up, ears back.

Cale read the letter.

The parchment was dirty and had spots of dried blood. Crude. Messy. The kind of thing meant to induce fear. To break someone.

It had done its job.

The image attached wasn’t moving, but that somehow made it worse. It was frozen—Sirius Black, bound in a chair, bleeding and bruised, with figures in black casting curse after curse. His face was twisted in pain.

At the bottom, in blood-red ink:

"Your godfather will die in the Ministry if you do not come, Potter."

No signature. No seal. No decency.

Cale’s fingers curled around the page.

“Raon,” he said quietly.

The small dragon-cat turned to him, eyes glowing. The others decided not to question the fact that the cat just spoke. To angry at the letter.

“Trace the magic. Find where they are.”

Yes, human!

Raon leapt from the table, tail flicking like a whip as he got to work.

Cale closed the letter and handed it to Beacrox.

"Pass that to Draco," he said. “He’ll want to see it.”

Draco caught it mid-air, read it once, and swore under his breath. “This is bad. I don’t want to fight my father but if he’s with that mad man I will.”

Blaise stood. “We're going, right?”

“Of course,” Cale said.

“Even if it’s a trap?” Theodore asked.

“Especially because it’s a trap,” Cale replied, eyes narrowing.

Harry was still hunched forward, trying to breathe.

Cale leaned closer, resting his hand lightly on Harry’s back again.

“Harry,” he said gently, “look at me.”

Harry did.

“We’re going to get him back,” Cale said, voice unwavering. “You’re not alone this time.”

Harry’s breath hitched—and then steadied.

A spark lit in his eyes.

Not fear.

Rage.

Resolve.

“Okay,” Harry said hoarsely.

“Good,” Cale replied. “Then let’s burn the Ministry down.”

-Human! I found it!!!!!!!!

____________________________________________________________________

The air shimmered around them, thick with magic as Raon hovered midair, glowing brighter than any patronus.

Aright everyone, — he announced in their minds, his voice firm and focused. — We're teleporting in. Right into the prophecy chamber.

Hands clasped. Shoulders bumped. Fred Weasley grabbed George’s sleeve. Draco grumbled but still grabbed Harry’s wrist. Blaise adjusted his cuffs like they weren’t about to warp through magical dimensions. Choi Han placed a steady hand on Harry’s shoulder, and Beacrox stepped just slightly in front of Cale like a wall with blades.

And with a snap —reality folded.

They landed in a circle of shimmering light.

The Hall of Prophecies stretched out around them like a forest of glowing orbs. Tall shelves climbed high into the darkness, holding spinning, whispering prophecies in delicate glass. The air was cold and strange. The magic here hummed .

Raon floated down to Cale’s shoulder in his catlike form again. —We’re here human!!.—

They were not alone.

Black-robed figures circled the shadows like wolves, masks gleaming. Death Eaters.

Bellatrix Lestrange stepped out from behind one of the shelves, smile wide and wrong.

“Well, well,” she cooed. “Look what the Kneazle dragged in.”

Draco stepped forward. “Lestrange,” he growled. “Your taste in drama is as bad as your fashion sense.”

“Oh, nefew,” she purred mockingly, “you are a filthy traitor. I will kill you to save face for my sister.”

Cale ignored them all. His gaze swept the room—and then landed on it .

The prophecy orb. Nestled halfway up a shelf behind glass.

“Choi Han.”

“Yes, Cale-nim?”

“Break it.”

Choi Han blinked. “...Really?”

“Yes.”

Without hesitation, Choi Han vanished and reappeared beside the orb in a blur. With a calm nod, he drove his sword clean through the shelf.

CRASH!

The orb shattered, releasing a wild scream of prophecy—then nothing . Silence. Magic gone. Information destroyed.

“No!” Bellatrix shrieked. “You fool! You ruined everything!”

Cale smirked and stepped forward lazily. “Oops.”

A hex flew at him—and Beacrox intercepted it with a raised wand and a shield spell. Fred and George ducked behind a shelf and immediately began launching prank explosives like grenades. Raon blasted one Death Eater with a mini-fireball that singed half the man’s cloak. Luna threw a glowing moon-shaped charm into the fray like a grenade with a manic smile on her face. I seemed she inherited her mother’s need to experiment with magic.

Harry stood in the center, wand drawn, eyes locked.

Bellatrix screamed and flung a killing curse—only for Draco to redirect it straight into the ceiling with a practiced flick.

In the chaos, a massive hiss echoed.

The snake had arrived.

Nagini.

Long, coiled, and snapping with black venom, it slithered forward.

“That needs to die.” Cale said pointing at the snake and watching his people’s attention snap to the snake.

“Mine,” Theo said smoothly, already pulling out a cursed dagger laced with basilisk poison he.

“Nope,” Beacrox grunted, throwing a blade.

“Ha!,” Choi Han said, appearing above the snake.

I got it!! — Raon shouted.

All four struck at once.

The explosion of magic was deafening. The snake screeched, writhed—and then fell still, smoking and charred.

Silence.

A dark presence rippled through the room.

And then he appeared.

Voldemort.

The shadows behind him stretched like tendrils. His red eyes flicked to Cale, and for the first time in his dark, cursed life…

Voldemort looked confused.

“What are you?” he asked softly.

Cale tilted his head. “Your problem.”

And then all hell broke loose.

Voldemort’s cloak rippled around him like smoke. His eyes gleamed—cold, red, inhuman.

Voldemort’s cloak rippled around him like smoke. His eyes gleamed—cold, red, inhuman.

“Kill them,” he hissed.

The Death Eaters surged forward.

They didn’t get far.

Beacrox threw a dagger that dropped the first one instantly. Fred and George exploded a Smoke Bomb of Screaming Gnomes—high-pitched wails filled the room as the twins ran in opposite directions, casting jinxes with gleeful chaos.

Luna calmly floated upward, on a broom she got from who know where, casting glowing symbols in the air that turned hexes back on their senders.

Draco dueled two Death Eaters with sharp, deadly precision. “I’d say I’m surprised you’re bad at this, but I’m not.”

Blaise spun between spells like a dancer, flinging elegant bursts of magic. “Honestly, this is beneath me.”

“I thought this would be more of a challenge” Theo said disappointed as he stabbed the neck of a death eater.

Choi Han reappeared in the middle of a group and knocked three out before they could blink. He didn’t even look winded.

Harry stood in the center of it all, wand shaking, but eyes burning. “I’m not afraid of you anymore,” he said, raising his wand at Voldemort.

“Then you’re a fool,” Voldemort spat.

Before he could cast—

Cale stepped forward.

His red hair glowed faintly in the magical light. Raon hovered beside him, black cat tail swishing.

“I think you’ve overstayed your welcome on this earth,” Cale said.

“Avada Kedavra!”

The green light shot toward him—

Raon snapped his tail. The spell shattered mid-air.

Voldemort’s eyes widened. “Impossible—”

“You’re not the only one with who can cast magic,” Cale said, calm as ever. “Raon.”

On it! — Raon cried.

Magic surged. A wave of black and blue light crashed across the room, slamming into Voldemort. The Dark Lord staggered. His cloak burned at the edges. The shelves rattled.

Then Choi Han appeared behind him.

Voldemort twisted, barely catching the blade of Choi’s sword with his own shield spell.

But Blaise and Draco struck from the sides—hex and fire.

Beacrox launched daggers toward the man.

Luna dropped a charm that wrapped around his legs like glowing vines.

And Harry—Harry finally stepped forward and yelled:

Expelliarmus!

Voldemort’s wand flew from his hand—

Cale caught it.

“I believe this belongs to someone else,” he said mildly. Then he crushed it in his hand.

Magic howled .

Voldemort screamed, twisting, breaking apart, darkness pouring from his chest like smoke.

Raon’s tail glowed again. — Goodbye, snake-face!

With a final surge of magic harry shot the dark lord back.

His body hit the far wall—

—and exploded into ash.

Silence.

The ashes floated down like snow.

George popped up from behind a shelf, covered in glitter. “...So. Are we heroes now, or what?”

Fred answered, munching on a chocolate frog. “Definitely.”

Raon puffed up proudly. —That was fun! Can we do it again?—

“No,” Cale said flatly, brushing dust off his coat. “We’re going back to the dorms.”

Draco dusted off his sleeves. “I’m never letting you lot out of my sight again. You’re all insane.”

Harry just stood there, breathing hard, eyes wide. Then he looked at Cale.

“Thank you.”

Cale shrugged. “It’s what friends do.”

Harry looked around at the ragtag, chaotic group of people who’d followed him into battle, fought beside him, and won .

Yeah.

Friends.

________________________________________________________________________________

The dust had barely settled in the Hall of Prophecies.

Ash floated lazily through the air. Raon was licking soot off his fur. Cale was trying to brush glitter off his coat. Fred and George were sitting on a toppled shelf, casually eating sweets. Blaise conjured a mirror to check if his hair had been singed.

Then—

BOOM.

A dozen figures Apparated into the room in a flash of light and chaos.

“WANDS OUT!” shouted Kingsley Shacklebolt.

“Harry!” shouted Lupin, running toward him.

Molly Weasley screamed when she saw Fred and George. “What in Merlin’s name—”

Behind them, Cornelius Fudge appeared, red-faced and winded, flanked by Aurors in Ministry robes.

“What is the meaning of this!?” he bellowed.

“Too late,” Draco said flatly, flicking ash from his robes.

“Far too late,” Blaise added, sounding bored.

Fudge stomped into the room, eyes darting to the ruined shelves, the unconscious Death Eaters, the ashes still drifting in the air. “Where is He-Who-Must-Not—”

“Dead,” Cale said.

That earned complete silence .

Fudge blinked. “I—I beg your pardon?”

“He’s gone,” Cale repeated. “dead. Never to be seen again?”

“You’re lying,” someone whispered.

“He’s not,” said Kingsley slowly, taking in the scene. “Merlin… is that Voldemort’s ash?”

“He screamed like a kettle,” Fred added helpfully.

“Sirius Black,” Harry said suddenly, stepping forward. “He’s in the Ministry. Prison level. We got a fake message that he was being tortured here.” He held out the bloodstained letter.

Lupin took one look at it and swore. “Harry Sirius is safe at the house getting ready to come here and fight.”

Fudge looked like he was having a slow nervous breakdown. “But—but the prophecies—”

“there fine,” Cale said simply.

“You—YOU DESTROYED MINISTRY PROPERTY! AH—”

Luna smiled dreamily and handed the Minister a daisy she had conjured from nowhere. “It’s over now. Go tell the newspapers.”

Fudge gaped.

Fred took a bow. “You’re welcome, by the way.”

“Make sure the Prophet spells my name right,” George added.

Harry stood beside Cale and looked around at everyone—the wild crew of students and strangers who had stormed the Ministry and won .

It was finally over.

Whispers swirled like wildfire.

“The entire table just vanished ,” a Hufflepuff first year whispered, eyes wide. “Right in the middle of the library!”

“No, no,” corrected a Ravenclaw sixth year, dramatically flipping their notes. “They glowed . I saw it. Some kind of ancient runic teleportation. Possibly forbidden. Possibly French.”

Cale Henituse was there,” muttered a Slytherin prefect darkly. “Of course it was illegal.”

The Ravenclaws needed another bored.

Chapter 26: Goodbye.

Chapter Text

The castle grounds were bathed in soft golden light. Summer had arrived at last, and with it, the end of Cale Henituse’s unexpected, mildly violent, and oddly magical term at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

He stood at the edge of the Black Lake, arms crossed, Raon (now in smol dragon form) sleeping curled around his neck like a scarf, tail twitching.

Behind him, the rest of the “library vanishing squad” were engaged in various levels of mayhem.

Choi Han and Beacrox were double-checking their trunks. Draco was arguing with Fred and George about who had technically set off the last dungbomb under Umbridge’s chair. Luna was serenely tying a string of butterbeer corks around her luggage “for protection.” Blaise and Theodore had bet five galleons on whether or not Dumbledore would cry when Cale left. (He did not. He did, however, dramatically toast him with lemon sherbet.)

Harry had quietly joined Cale, hands in his pockets. He looked healthier these days—less haunted, more sure of himself.

“You really leaving?” Harry asked.

“I’ve graduated twice already,” Cale replied. “This was more of a… chaotic vacation.”

“You killed Voldemort on your vacation.”

“Exactly,” Cale said dryly. “Time to go home before someone makes me Head Boy.”

There was a long pause.

“…You’d make a terrifying Head Boy.”

Cale smirked. “That’s the idea.”

A flutter of wings signaled Hedwig’s return, landing on Harry’s shoulder with a letter—Ministry-sealed. Another award for bravery. Another round of interviews.

Cale took one glance at it and turned toward the carriages.

“Absolutely not. Let’s go before they rope me into paperwork.”

The group moved as one—half of them dragging luggage, the other half dragging people. As they reached the carriages, Cale paused to look back at Hogwarts, just once.

Raon cracked one eye open. “We’ll come back one day, won’t we?”

“…Maybe,” Cale murmured. “If it’s still standing.”

“Should we have said goodbye to the Headmaster?” Choi Han asked.

Behind them, a loud boom echoed from the castle followed by a plume of pink smoke rising from one of the towers.

“Too late,” Beacrox muttered.

Cale climbed into the carriage without looking back.

“Home,” he said, as the doors closed.

And with that, the carriages rolled down the path, leaving behind a school that would never quite be the same again.

Chapter 27: One shots.

Chapter Text

Cale vs. the Cleaning Charm

Cale: "Raon, clean this ink spill."

Raon: "Human! That is below me. I am the strongest—fine."

Raon casts a cleaning charm.

The desk catches fire.

Cale: sighs deeply “Beacrox.”

Beacrox: already putting it out with a wet towel and muttering about incompetence

Madam Pince walks by, sees the scorch mark, screams, and bans all of them from the Restricted Section again .

Fred: “This is why we don’t have nice things.”

The Polyjuice Disaster

Draco (smugly): “I’ve perfected Polyjuice Potion.”

Luna (cheerfully): “So did I!”

Later that day, Cale walks into the library to see three Lunas , one Fred, and a second Cale.

Cale: “Absolutely not.”

Fake Cale (Fred): “I am the true Young Master now!”

Real Cale walks away. “Nope. Not my problem today.”

Choi Han (tackling Fake Cale): “IMPOSTER!”

Who Hexed the Mailbox Owl

Hedwig returned to Harry—wearing tiny sunglasses and pink glitter feathers.

Harry: horrified “WHO DID THIS?!”

Blaise: “It wasn’t me.”

Fred: “It wasn’t NOT me.”

Cale: flipping a page “I told you enchanting the owl to look cooler was a mistake.”

Raon: “She looks great, though.”

Beacrox: already brewing owl-friendly feather dye remover

Dueling Club

Lockhart (dramatic): “We’ll begin today’s duel with volunteers! Mr. Henituse, Mr. Potter—”

Cale: “No.”

Lockhart: “Excellent! Mr. Henituse, draw your wand!”

Cale pulls out a sword instead.

Everyone: “…”

Lockhart: nervous laugh “Wha—where did you even get that?”

Cale: “Storage.”

Choi Han: from the back “He keeps it next to his backup sword.”

Lockhart faints.

Magical Creatures Class

Hagrid: “Now class, today we’re looking at baby dragons!”

Raon: sits up proudly

Hagrid: “Er—not him. He’s... domesticated?”

Raon: “DOMESTICATED?! I AM THE MIGHTY—”

Cale gives Raon a cookie.

Raon: “I am the mighty snack-eater, yes.”

Dumbledore’s Office, Again

Cale walks into Dumbledore’s office.

Dumbledore: “Mr. Henituse. You’ve been here every day this week.”

Cale: “That’s not my fault.”

Dumbledore: “You blew up a hallway.”

Cale: “Technically, Fred and George did.”

Fred & George: in unison from behind a tapestry “We regret nothing!”

The Bathroom Incident

The Slytherin Prefect bathroom was quiet... until Beacrox emerged like a vengeful ghost.

Beacrox: “Which one of you put glitter bombs in the hot water pipes?”

Harry: “Not me.”

Cale: wet, glittery, mildly furious “Really.”

Weasley twins “We wanted to test holiday-themed magic! Sparkle and boom!”

Blaise: “You look fabulous though.”

Cale: glitter dripping from his hair “I’m going to drown myself in the sink.”

Career Day

McGonagall: “Cale Henituse, where do you see yourself in ten years?”

Cale: “Retired.”

McGonagall: “At what job?”

Cale: “I’m trying not to have one.”

Fred: “He wants to be a professional napper.”

Choi Han: serious nod “And a peaceful farmer.”

Beacrox: “He’ll last five minutes.”

Dueling Club—Remix Edition

Lockhart: “Let’s pair up and duel!”

Harry vs. Blaise
Choi Han vs. Fred & George (they insisted)
Raon vs. Trevor the toad

Raon: to Trevor “Prepare yourself, reptile!”

Neville: “That’s not even fair—”

Choi Han: disarms both twins at once

Fred: “He’s cheating.”

George: “He’s just terrifying.”

Harry: panting “Blaise keeps flirting while hexing me!”

Hermione: “That… sounds like him, yes.”
