Chapter Text

Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 1

Mario is at his house, cooking the spaghetti pasta while his brother, Luigi, is cooking the spaghetti sauce. Mario drains the water of the pasta, places it on a plate, and puts it on the table.

"The pasta is finished, Luigi." Mario says while getting two plates, two forks, and a spoon for the spaghetti sauce.

"The spaghetti sauce is almost ready. Please wait like five more minutes." Luigi says, adding ketchup to the spaghetti sauce.

Mario places the plates and utensils on the table and spot a Mail Koopa delivering their mail in their mailbox. "I'm going to get the mail."

Mario walks out of the house and walks to the mailbox. He opens it and looks through each mail. Most of the mails were either thank you letters from Toads, ads, and junk mail, but the last one made his eyes pop open. "No way… It's finally happening again."

Mario excitedly runs back inside the house with all the mail and leaves the less important mail on a table. "Luigi! Guess what!"

Luigi finishes cooking the spaghetti sauce and puts it in a bowl. "What got you so excited all of a sudden? Did you win a lottery for a million coins?"

"Even better!" Mario says, showing him the mail.

Luigi looks closely at the mail and his eyes pop out when he sees a Smash Ball logo. "Is this for real!?"

"Yep! Sakurai is hosting another Smash Tournament!" Mario announces.

"Don't just show me the envelope, open it!" Luigi exclaims.

Mario opens the letter and reads the letter. "Hello Mario, it's Sakurai. Yes, I am hosting another Super Smash Bros tournament. This tournament will be the biggest tournament I ever hosted. I would like to invite you and the other original eight Smashers to come into the new and improve Smash Mansion I have upgraded. I'll make a major announcement about tournaments and would like you to stay to help make sure the Mansion is in good shape for other Smashers to stay in. A portal will appear in your world that will take you to the Smash Mansion. I hope to get to see you there."

"A tournament that's going to be bigger than Brawl's? This is going to be amazing!" Luigi can't contain his excitement.

"Me too! I wonder what's going to be different for this tournament." Mario wondered.

"I hope we get to see a lot of new newcomers." Luigi excitedly says.

"Let's stop talking about the tournament and enjoy our spaghetti dinner before it gets cold." Mario says.

Mario and Luigi sat on their chair and start eating their spaghetti while talking about all the things they can't wait to do again.

…

"Another Super Smash Bros tournament?" Peach surprisingly asks.

"That's right! Mario got an invitation from Sakurai and something new is going to happen!" Luigi exclaims.

"Wow! I can't wait to see Zelda, Samus, and the other Smashers again." Peach excitedly says.

"Where is Mario by the way?" Toad asks.

"Mario, he's outside waiting for the Smash Portal." Luigi replies.

"He can wait in here if he likes." Toad suggested.

"I don't think that's a good idea. He still doesn't want to have contact with Peach." Luigi says.

"Oh…" Toad replies.

"I wish I told him a lot sooner. It's my fault that he doesn't want to come in and see me." Peach sadly says.

"It's not your fault, Peach. Mario just needs time by himself and he'll be back to his normal self in no time." Luigi says, trying to cheer up Peach.

"I hope so. Hopefully he accepts it sooner than later." Peach says, looking out the front window where Mario is.

Mario is standing outside, waiting for the Smash Portal. He looks up the sky with clouds and sees them forming into a heart broken up into two pieces. "I wish that Peach told me in the beginning about her fiancé."

The Smash Portal appeared and Mario goes inside it. In just a few seconds, he arrived at the Smash Mansion. The Smash Mansion has expanded in size, added an extra few floors, a beautiful garden in the front, etc. Mario couldn't believe how much the Smash Mansion changed since the Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament.

"This is where I'll be staying? It's like five mansions fused into one! This must really be a huge tournament." says Mario.

Mario goes inside the Smash Mansion and follows the arrows that lead to the office. He arrived at the office and sees the original eight Smashers talking to each other. "Hey everyone!"

The Smashers all stop talking and greet Mario. Link, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and Fox greet Mario with a high-five or fist bump and Pikachu, Kirby, and Samus greet him with a hug.

"It's been a long time, Mario." Link happily greeted.

"You haven't changed a bit." Fox says.

"It's good to see you guys again. You really changed a lot, Link." Mario says.

"I'm actually from a new timeline." Link pointed out.

"Samus, still beautiful as ever." Mario compliments.

Samus slightly blush. "Thanks."

"The original Smashers are finally here!" Pikachu happily says.

"We're one big happy family again!" Kirby happily says.

"I wonder if Sakurai is ready?" Yoshi wondered.

"Hopefully he planned us food after helping around the Mansion." Donkey Kong says, as his stomach begins to growl.

As the Smashers are talking about him, Sakurai arrived at his office with papers in his hands. "Hello everyone! It's good to see everyone here."

"Hey Sakurai!" Kirby happily greeted.

"What are the papers for?" Fox asks.

"These are sign up sheets for when you agree to stay in the Smash Mansion. Before you sign, let me tell you my special announcement about the tournament." Sakurai says.

The Smashers and Sakurai all sit down for their little meeting.

"So what's the special announcement?" Samus asks.

Sakurai smiles. "Since in the letter I said that this is going to be the biggest Smash tournament, I would like to finally announce that this tournament will be endless."

The Smashers were confused when Sakurai said tournaments are endless.

"What do you mean by endless, Sakurai?" Fox asks.

"Meaning that there'll be an endless amount of tournaments you get to be able to participate in. So it's not like last tournaments where tournaments will only last for a few years. This also means that you'll be able to stay at the Smash Mansion as long as you want!" Sakurai happily announces.

The Smasher all get out of their chairs and cheer that they can now be able to stay with each other as long as they want.

"This is like a dream come true!" Pikachu happily says.

"You're the man, Sakurai!" Donkey Kong happily says.

"I'm glad that everyone's excited." Sakurai happily says.

"Are you going to tell us the newcomers now?" Kirby asks.

"Sorry, I'm saving that next week when the opening ceremony is happening." Sakurai apologizes.

"Aw man." Kirby sadly says.

"Now that I told you the special announcement, can everyone stay and make sure the Smash Mansion is clean and that everything function well?" Sakurai asks.

"You can leave it to us!" Yoshi says.

"After you all finish, I'll have a special feast prepared for you." Sakurai says.

"We'll be looking forward to it." Mario says.

So all the Smashers split up to see if everything looks clean and good to use.

…

Later at night, the Smashers all finish looking over the Smash Mansion and the feast is already at their reach. Kirby is about to inhale all of the food, but Mario, Link, and Fox stops him before he does. The Smashers all eat their food and talk about the many new adventures that happened when they came back after the Subspace Emissary adventure.

"So I saved Princess Peach from getting married to Bowser and everything went well." Mario tells his story.

"Bowser captured Peach again and forces her to marry him? That's too harsh." Samus says, taking a sip of ice tea.

"At least it went well in the end." Fox says, taking a bite of his hamburger.

"Were you able to propose to Peach yet? She must've said yes by now." Link asks.

Mario felt uneasy, looks down at the table, and didn't say a word.

"Mario, are you ok?" Pikachu asks.

"Did you get a stomach ache?" Kirby asks.

"Sorry, I just don't want to talk about what happened." Mario apologizes, as he gets out of his seat.

"Where are you going?" Yoshi asks.

"I need to get some fresh air right quick." Mario replies, walking away.

The Smasher looks at each other and stays silent until Samus spoke. "I'll go talk to him."

"Please don't." says Yoshi.

"We'll tell you all what happened to Mario during his proposal." Donkey Kong says.

While Mario's outside, he looks up to the clouds and sees a cloud that looks like the same broken heart from when he was at Princess Peach's Castle. "… It wasn't just meant to be."

Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 2

A week has passed and it's finally the day for the opening ceremony. The original eight Smashers are at the mansion setting up for the opening ceremony. Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and Fox are setting up the tables and chairs in the ballroom, Kirby, Pikachu, and Samus are decorating the auditorium, and Mario and Link are in front of the Smash Mansion with sign up sheets for all the returning Smashers.

"Today's the big day where we get to see all of our old friends and make new ones. Are you excited?" Link happily asks.

"Yeah… I guess…” Mario sadly replies.

Link looks at Mario and notice that he's still upset from last week. "Mario, I'm sorry about what happened last week. I didn't know that you and Peach are…"

Mario cuts off Link. "Don’t worry about it. I should be the one apologizing for just walking away and not answering. It's just hard that I had such a really amazing relationship with Peach and it all went to waste when you realize that she doesn't love you back. After all the times of saving her, talking, playing, laughing, dancing, and you're just going to get denied in the very end. I just wished she told me a lot earlier so none of this would’ve happened.”

Link places his hand on Mario's shoulder. "It's ok. Relationships can be really hard when the one you love doesn't love you back. Today will be the start of a new man and there'll be plenty of new females that you maybe interested in. It'll take time, but I know you'll find someone. Who knows maybe it can be somebody from a different world.”

Mario smiles as he looks at the bright side for this tournament. "Thanks Link. You're right, I just need to be patient. Being sad won’t get me anywhere if I keep this up.”

“That’s the spirit. Now, let’s meet all the old Smashers with a big smile on our face. Even though… we’ll be welcoming our arch enemies.” Link sighs.

Mario laughs. “You’re right. We’ll just have to give them our best hospitality.”

…

After a few hours, all the returning Smashers for the tournament have made it. Mario and Link were happy that they get to see them, but sad that not all the returning Smashers like Ice Climbers, Snake, Wolf, etc didn't make it.

"Looks like that's everyone." Mario says.

"I'm surprised that there's a Zelda, Sheik, and Ganondorf from different timelines." Link pointed out.

"Yeah, I thought they'd all be from your world." Mario says.

"It's ok. Even though I won’t be able to see the Zelda from my world that often… Let's go the auditorium and meet the new Smashers." Link says.

“Ah I can’t wait!” Mario excitedly says.

All the Smashers are seated in the auditorium, waiting for the latest entries of the Newcomers. The curtains rise up and all the Smashers cheer for Sakurai, who’s really excited to make his returning debut.

"Welcome everyone to the opening ceremony of the new Super Smash Bros tournament. Im really happy to see everyone here today. To start things of, I would like to announce how tournaments are going to work this time around. This time, the tournaments will be endless. And what I mean about that is there'll be endless amounts of tournaments to participate in. This also means that you all will be able to stay in the Smash Mansion as long as you want." Sakurai announces.

All the Smashers cheer for Sakurai for his big announcement about the tournaments.

"Now the moment you all been waiting for. Here are the first set of newcomers for this tournament." Sakurai says, getting ready to introduce the newcomers.

One by one, the newcomers made their introduction. Starting with Villager from Animal Crossing, Mega Man from Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer from Wii Fit, Waluigi and Rosalina from Super Mario, Little Mac from Punch Out, Greninja from Pokemon, Palutena from Kid Icarus, Pac Man from Pac Man, Lyn, Robin and Lucina from Fire Emblem, and Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles.

The Smashers all cheer loudly for the new Smashers especially the special guests such as Mega Man and Pac Man.

"There'll be more newcomers coming in a later date. I hope everyone enjoy the new Smashers I have invited. Now that the opening ceremony is over, let's all enjoy the feast I have ready for all of you. Thank you for listening and enjoy your stay here." Sakurai announces.

…

The big feast has concluded with many smiles on their faces. The original eight Smashers are introducing the newcomers one by one what the Smash Mansion have to offer and where they're staying, while the rest of the Smashers go to their room and set out their things. The newcomers were all excited since they're now part of a giant tournament with fighters from all around different worlds.

"I'm finished showing around the Smash Mansion and their rooms to the newcomers I'm assigned to." Fox says.

"I can't believe Sakurai invited this many newcomers and that they're going to be even more later on." Pikachu excitedly says.

"That means more friends for us to make!" Kirby happily says, waving his arms.

"I still have to wait for one more newcomer. You guys can leave me here." Mario says.

"It's already late so I'm going to hit the hay." Donkey Kong yawns.

"Me too. It was a long day for us." Samus yawns.

"Today was a great day and the later days will be even greater. Well, see you all tomorrow." Yoshi says, heading to his room.

“Make sure you don’t overwork yourself, Mario.” Link says.

The Smashers leave to their rooms, leaving Mario by himself. Mario sits down on the couch to wait for the last Newcomer. "I wonder what the last newcomer is doing this late?"

"Sorry that I'm late."

Mario looks where the voice is coming from and sees a woman with green hair and a blue dress. "Oh no worries. You must be the last newcomer I must be showing around the Smash Mansion to. My name is Mario."

"My name is Lyndis, but you can call me Lyn." the newcomer and Mario shake each other hand.

"Nice to meet you, Lyn. Weren't you an Assist Trophy from the Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament?" Mario asks.

"That's right! It's a real honor for me to be a Smasher for this tournament. Also I'm sorry about being here late. I was helping out Sakurai and some of his workers with the dishes since there was just too many and some Smashers ate like over fifty plates of food." Lyn apologizes.

Mario places his hand behind the back of his head in embarrassment. "Uhh… part of that was my fault… Me and other Smashers were actually having an eating contest, but I lost."

Lyn giggles. "That’s too bad. You and the other Smashers must have a big appetite. Now, would you like to escort me around here?"

"Of course! Let’s begin the tour!" Mario replied.

Mario shows Lyn around the Smash Mansion and what they have to offer such as the cafeteria, gym/training room, library, pool, park, etc. While walking, both of them are having a fun conversation about their worlds and how long Mario has been in the Super Smash Bros tournaments.

"You've been in Super Smash Bros tournaments since the very first one?" Lyn surprisingly asks.

"That's right! I was the first Smasher to be announced with other Smashers like Link, Kirby, Pikachu, and the others. It started of with a small roster of twelve Smashers, then it grows bigger and bigger every tournament." Mario happily replies.

"You must be really famous then." Lyn says.

"I guess you can say that." Mario says, rubbing the back of his head.

"Since it's my first time being here, I hope I give everyone here a good fight with my swordsmanship." Lyn says, looking down on her Sword.

"How about you be the first Smasher to fight me? I'm really interested on how you fight compared to the others." Mario suggests.

Lyn smiles. "I would love too. I also want to learn how you fight. You must fight a lot differently than the warriors I fought in my world."

The tour has finally come to an end and Mario takes Lyn to her room.

"Here you are, Lyn. Do you have any other questions about the Smash Mansion or anything Smash related?" Mario asks, placing down Lyn’s things.

"No I'm good. Thank you for showing me around and carrying my things. It's really nice of you that you do this for me." Lyn happily thanked.

"Not a problem. It was really nice getting to know you." Mario happily says.

Lyn smiles. "I hope we get to talk more. I really want to know more about you."

Mario smiles. "Of course! I would like to know more about you too. I should get going now since it's late."

"Oh yes. Sorry again for making you wait again." Lyn apologizes.

"It's ok. I'll see you tomorrow then, Lyn." Mario says.

"Yeah, bye Mario." Lyn says.

Mario and Lyn wave bye to each other and went their separate ways. Mario arrives at his room and was surprised who's staying with him. Link and Pit are playing some videogames together on the Nintendo Switch.

"Hey, it's Mario!" Pit happily exclaims.

“Link, Pit! So you two are my roommates.” Mario surprisingly says.

"Didn't know you to be staying here with us. Want to play with us?" Link asks.

"Sure!" Mario happily replies, as he grabs a controller and sits down with them. “Now, let me show you how real gaming is like.”

Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 3

A early morning to start the day for the Smashers. Mario, Link, and Pit are at the cafeteria for breakfast. One bite out of their breakfast and their eyes sparkle like bright stars.

"Amazing!" Mario exclaims, taking his first bite of pancakes.

"Delicious!" Link exclaims, taking his first bite of sausage.

"Tasty!" Pit exclaims, taking his first bite of scramble eggs.

The three Smashers continue eating while complimenting on their delicious breakfast.

"Sakurai really went all out for this Smash tournament. He let us stay as long as we want and hired amazing cooks." Link says, taking a bite on his pancakes.

"Sakurai is the man!" Pit exclaims, shoving some sausages in his mouth.

"He really did a lot for us for this tournament. We should be thankful to him." Mario says, taking a bite on his scramble eggs.

"What do you think of the newcomers?" Link asks.

"I think they all look great! I can't wait to fight them." Pit happily says.

"Speaking of fighting, Sakurai said today is going to be an exhibition match between two lucky Smashers today." Mario remembers.

"An exhibition match… Hopefully it's going to be me." Link says.

"If you're one of them, then the second Smasher will be me! I want to show you some new things I learned since the last Smash tournament." Pit says.

"It'll be nice if I get chosen and maybe Sonic as the second one. It'll be a nice rivalry match." Mario says.

"Oh right! A battle between Nintendo and Sega’s Mascots." Pit says.

"That would be an exciting battle to watch." Link nods in agreement.

After everyone finishes eating breakfast, the Smashers are in the auditorium listening to Sakurai's announcement.

"Hello everyone, I hope that you all enjoy your breakfast. Today, I'm going to be announcing the two lucky Smashers that will be the first to fight using my latest experiment." Sakurai announces.

The Smashers chatter about who's going to be first, while a few of Sakurai's workers get Sakurai's invention that's hidden under a blanket up on the stage. Sakurai pulls the blanket and reveals a computer system with a huge Smash symbol on top.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Smash Computer. This will be the main focus on how you'll be able to do Smash battles, tournaments, and other modes I'll prepare later on in the future." Sakurai announces. The Smashers cheer for Sakurai as he gets ready to pick the Smashers for the exhibition match from a box full of Smasher's names. He picks two pieces of paper. "The lucky two Smashers are… Mario and Link! Please come up to the stage."

The Smashers cheer for the two lucky winners except for some Smashers like Wario and Waluigi while Mario and Link are going up on the stage.

"We're the lucky ones, Link." Mario says.

"Yeah! Can't wait to show you what I can do." Link says.

Sakurai turns on the computer and demonstrates how to use it. "It's really simple. The way you use the computer is by choosing the rules you like to use. You can choose from time, stock, stamina, etc, and then choose the stage you like to go on. After that, a screen will show up where you'll have to place your hands so it can scan it and transfer you to the stage you chose with the rules you set up. Since this is only a test, I put Battlefield as the stage for you two to fight on and it's one stock. Any questions?"

"Nope." Mario says.

"Seems easy enough." Link says.

Sakurai smiles. "Then have at it you two."

Mario and Link place their hands on the computer and they were transferred to Battlefield in just a few seconds. The Smashers that are spectating cheer for one of the other Smashers.

"Let's go, Mario!" Luigi cheered.

"You can win, Link!" Zelda cheered.

As the count down begins 3, 2, 1, the fight begins!

…

Mario started of the match by running in and attacks with his Punch-Punch-Kick combo. Link blocks his attacks with his Hyrule Shield and attacks back with his Master Sword Slash combo. Mario jumps back to gain distance and attacks again with a fury of Punches and Kicks. Link blocks most of them, but ending up getting hit with Mario's Punch-Punch-Kick combo, sending him flying back. Mario charges in and attacks with a strong Punch to send Link offstage. Link got back on his feet, lands his Sword Slash combo, and follows it with a strong Sword Slash, sending Mario flying to the other side of the stage. Link takes out his Bow and shoots out some Arrows. Mario avoids them using his jumping ability and throws a few Fireballs. Link uses his Hyrule Shield to block the Fireballs and throws a Bomb. Mario got hit from the Bomb, but was confused since it didn't explode on contact. Link smirks and detonates his Bomb with a remote, hitting Mario with a strong explosion, sending him offstage. Link runs to the edge of the stage and shoots out Arrows from his Bow to stop Mario from recovering. Mario uses his Super Leaf Cape to reflect all the Arrows back at Link and recovers back on stage with his Super Jump Punch. As Mario got on stage, Link attacks him with a fury of Sword Slashes. Mario blocks each one, rolls behind him, grabs him, and throws him offstage. Link recovers quickly with his Spin Attack recovery. Mario continues his assault by throwing Punches and Kicks. Link strikes back by doing his Sword Slashes. Each Smasher slowly damaging each other back to back and none of them want to quit. Both Smashers pant really hard and one attack will be the end of the match. Mario and Link both run at each other with everything they got left for their final attack. Link attacks first by doing a powerful Sword Smash Strike. Mario was able to dodge it by spot dodging and landed a power Smash Punch, sending Link all the way to the blast zone.

Game!

Mario and Link returns back to the Auditorium with all the Smashers and Sakurai cheering for the two Smashers for their outstanding performance.

"Great job, Mario!" Ike cheered.

"You did great too, Link!" Shulk cheered.

Mario goes up to Link. "That was a great match."

"Yeah it was. Let's do it again next time." Link says.

Mario and Link smile at each other and give a fist bump, causing the crowd to cheer louder. Both Smashers look at the crowd and wave at them.

Sakurai goes up to them while clapping. "Amazing performance you two. It was really entertaining to see you two fight like that."

"Thanks!" Mario and Link said together, feeling praised.

"The Smash Computer is still in production. So expect it to be finished in a few days to make sure it runs well with no errors. I hope you all enjoy the exhibition match and enjoy the rest of your day." Sakurai announces.

Mario and Link goes back to the Smashers as they all crowd around them and praising them.

Chapter Text

Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 4

Mario, Link, and Pit are walking around the Smash Mansion and talking about the exhibition match from yesterday.

"The match from yesterday was so exciting! Mario was like POW and SLAM! While Link was all SLASH and BOOM! I haven't seen an exciting match like that since the Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament." Pit excitingly says., making by a lot of hand gestures

"During that time, we weren't that good of Smashers." Link remembers.

"Yeah, my attacks weren't as strong as in this tournament. They really gave me and Link good buffs for this tournament." Mario says.

"Hopefully there's no Smasher that's like Meta Knight and his crazy aerials and tornado attacks." Pit says, remembering the torture when he fought Meta Knight.

"Even though I'm sad that Ice Climbers aren't here, hopefully there's no Smasher that's like them where they keep grabbing you and throwing you repeatedly and finish you with a Smash Attack." Link says, remembering Ice Climbers chain grab combo.

"Sakurai told us in this tournament that he and the balancing team balance up everyone here so we can be able to fight on equal footing. Thank goodness for that." Mario says.

"Speaking of tournaments, how about we go to the training room and test out our what's new moveset?" Pit suggests.

"That's a great idea." Link agrees.

While they're heading to the training room, Mario found a paper on the ground, picks it up, and reads it. "A Giant Book is attacking the Castle. Please help!"

"What is it, Mario?" Link asks.

"Some sort of mission request. I never seen something like this before in a Tournament." Mario replies.

"I wonder if this is something Sakurai prepared for us as something we can do in the Smash Mansion." Pit wondered.

The Smashers look down at the mission request paper annd it started glowing. Out of nowhere, a Smash Portal appeared in front of them.

"Why did a Smash Portal suddenly appeared?" Link wondered.

"Maybe it's supposed to take us to our destination where the mission is." Mario says.

"Let's go in!" Pit exclaims.

"Are you sure we should go? What if Sakurai is going to announce this kind of thing later to the other Smashers?" Mario asks.

"Then we get a head start before everyone else. It's like being a special VIP to something." Pit replies.

"The Smash Portal is already up so we should just go in and do the mission." Link says.

“Sounds good to me.” Mario says.

Mario, Link, and Pit go into the Smash Portal and travel to their destination.

…

The three Smashers arrived to their destination, Princess Peach's Castle. A lot of Toads are all outside panicking around like it was the end of the world. Mario, Link, and Pit go up to the Toads.

"Everyone, we're here to stop the Giant Book." Mario announces.

The Toads all stop and were relief that Mario is here and Toadsworth walks up to them.

"Master Mario, Master Link, Master Pit, it's good to see you here." Toadsworth happily says.

"Hey Toadsworth, it's been a while." Pit happily greeted.

"Where's this Giant Book that's attacking?" Link asks.

"It’s right inside the library. Let me escort you all there." Toadsworth replies.

The Smashers follow Toadsworth to the Library. As they arrived, Toadsworth quickly runs back out of the Castle.

"Is Toadsworth really that scared of a book?" Pit wonders.

"Let's go find that book and destroy it so we can go back to the Smash Mansion. I don't feel comfortable being here even though she's not here." Mario says.

The three Smashers go inside the library and suddenly, a Giant Book appeared before them and roars at them.

"That's one scary book! This is why I hate reading." Pit says, getting his Palutena's Bow ready.

"But you don't know how to read." Link says, getting his Master Sword and Hyrule Shield ready.

"That's why I hate reading!" Pit exclaims.

"Focus you two. Let's take it out." Mario ordered.

The Giant Book roared and summons books to attack the Smashers. Link and Pit use their Bows to shoot Arrows at the Books coming for them and Mario jumps on the book and lands blows of Punches and Kicks. The Giant Book flies around in high speed to shake off Mario, but he hang on as tight as he can to not let go. Link continues shooting Arrows while Pit slowly flies to the Giant Book and lands some Blade Strikes on it. The Giant Book roared loudly and slams into Pit, sending him flying into a wall. Then the Giant Book shook off Mario and slams him to the floor and follows it up with a stronger slam. Link runs up to it and stabs the Giant Book with his Master Sword. The Giant Book screamed in pain and rams into Link, sending him flying into another wall. The Giant Book then summons all the books in the Library to attack the three Smashers. Mario, Link, and Pit do their best to withstand the attack. Mario throws a Fireball at the Giant Book and hits it, causing to burn. The Giant Book screams in pain while burning.

"That’s it! Link, Pit, we have to use fire base attacks." Mario ordered.

"My Remote Bombs are energy based this time. I'll use them to knock him out." Link says.

"And I don't have anything fire based, so I'll just distract him." Pit says.

Pit runs to the other side of the Giant Book and shoots out Light Arrows. While the Giant Book is distracted by Pit, Link jumps onto the Giant Book and places some Remote Bombs on it. Mario jumps into the air and hits the Giant Book with a barrage of Fireballs. The Giant Book is slowly burning, but still chasing after Pit who's still shooting Light Arrows at it. Link jumps off the Giant Book and detonates the Remote Bomb, hitting it with a large explosion and knocking it down to the ground. While he has the chance, Mario throws a barrage of Fireballs, burning the Giant Book in intense flames. The Giant Book cried in pain and slowly vanishes away in thin air.

"We did it!" Mario, Link, and Pit cheered and do a union high-five.

Mario, Link, and Pit went out of the Castle the Toads cheer for the three heroes.

"Thank you so much for saving us!" Toadsworth thanked.

"No problem. We’re glad that we can help “ Mario happily says.

“How did this happen in the first place?" Link asks.

"Well, I was just organizing the Books with a couple of Toads. Then suddenly, a Giant Book appeared out of nowhere and attacked us. I don't know how it appeared either." Toadsworth replies.

"Well it's all over now." Mario says.

"Lesson learned, never read a book again if something like that is going to happen again." Pit says.

"Books aren't always like that." Link corrected.

Toadsworth gives each Smasher a bag of five hundred golden coins.

"What is this for?" Mario asks.

"This is a reward for completing the mission I sent. I thought you knew since it was on the paper." Toadsworth says.

"When I read the paper, it was partly ripped." Mario says.

"Oh dear. Now you know for next time." Toadsworth says.

"Thank you for the reward." Pit thanked.

"I'll be making more requests if something like this happened or if I need any help with something else. So come again if you like." Toadsworth says.

"Oh we will. See you later, Toadsworth. "Mario says.

…

Mario, Link, and Pit arrived at the Smash Mansion and head to the cafeteria for lunch. As they arrived, Sakurai stopped them.

"Where did you three go? All the Smashers are eating lunch now." Sakurai asks.

"We found some mission request paper on the floor earlier and went on a mission at Princess Peach's Castle." Pit replies.

"Sorry for going on a mission without you knowing." Link apologizes.

"It's ok, I just wanted to know where you three were that's all. The mission requests were something I was suppose to announce later on at the auditorium." Sakurai says.

"So it was something you're planning to announce." Mario says.

"Since you three were the first ones to go on a mission, I'll tell you the other details on why there are mission requests. I thought it's a good idea to charge a monthly fee since this is a big mansion and that there are a lot more Smashers here. And another thing is that it can have Smashers from different worlds to go to other worlds they never been before and help anyone from there. That way it can help unite the different worlds to become as one." Sakurai stated.

"That makes a lot of sense." Link understands.

"How much does the rent cost?" Mario asks.

"Five hundred Smash Coins." Sakurai replies.

"But we only have five hundred gold coins." Pit pointed out.

"Don't worry, I can convert them into Smash coins in my office. Would you like to pay now?" Sakurai asks. Mario, Link, and Pit nod yes and gives their coins to him. "Thanks for your payment. I'll convert these to Smash Coins now."

Sakurai goes to his office while Mario, Link, and Pit head to the cafeteria to eat.

Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 5

The day has finally arrived where the Smashers get to finally show what they're made of. Mario, Link, and Pit arrived at the Smash Room and see a lot of Smashers gathering together and challenging each other in Smash battles. It was a beautiful sight seeing many different Smashers getting to battle each other once again and form new friendships with the newcomers that were invited.

"It's finally time! We can finally do Smash battles together!" Pit cheered full of excitement.

“All the Smashers already got a head start before us.” Mario says, looking around the Smash Room.

"Who should fight first?" Link asks.

"I'll let you two fight first. I have someone I planned on fighting." Mario replies.

"All right then! Link, no items, Final Destination!" Pit demanded.

"That's fine with me. Hope you're ready." Link warned.

Link and Pit are looking for a Smash Computer to use while Mario is looking around for Lyn to fight with while spectating other matches. Mario walks around and watch some matches such as Fox vs Samus, Marth vs Shulk, Luigi vs Falco, and Peach vs Zelda. While watching Peach’s match, it made Mario remember all the good times that he and her made together every second he watches. Mario stops watching before he too gets upset and look around for more matches to spectate. While looking around, he sees Lyn who just arrived at the Smash Room and goes up to her.

"Hey Lyn." Mario happily greeted.

"Hello, Mario. It's finally the day where everyone get to fight each other." Lyn happily greeted.

"Yep! Remember the promise I made of you being my first opponent? How about you and I fight in a Smash Battle?" Mario asks.

"Sounds like a great idea! When I first saw your match with Link in the exhibition match, I was amazed on how you fought. It made me even more interested in fighting you." Lyn happily says.

Mario smiles. "Thanks. But, I'm not that strong."

"Don't say that. I'm sure you're a really strong opponent. The way you moved into battle is completely different than what I’ve seen from fighters in my world.” Lyn says.

"If you say so. Let's find us a Smash Computer to use." Mario says.

Mario and Lyn search around the room and found a Smash Computer to use and sets up the rules for their match.

"What kind of stage would you like to go on?” Mario asks, looking at all the stages.

Lyn looks at the stage list and sees too many that interests her. "How about Fountain of Dreams? Looks like a beautiful stage to fight in."

"Of course! I'm putting two stocks if that's ok with you." Mario suggests.

"What are stocks?" Lyn asks.

"Basically they are the amount of lives in battle. So like if I put two stocks, we have to send each other out of the stage two times." Mario replies.

"That makes sense. Let's do that then." Lyn says.

Mario finishes setting up the rules and the two Smashers place their hands on the computer screen to verify the battle. In just a few seconds, they're already in Fountain of Dreams.

"Let's make this a good battle, Mario." Lyn says, taking out her sword, the Mani Katti and getting in her fighting stance.

"Yeah. Good luck." Mario says, getting into his fighting stance.

3, 2, 1, the battle begins!

The battle starts off with Lyn charging in and attacks with a quick Sword Slash. Mario blocks the attack and strikes back with some Punches. Lyn dodges each incoming attack with her quick speed and attacks back with some quick Sword Slashes. Mario was able to dodge some of them, but ending up getting hit by the rest because of how fast Lyn's Sword Slashes are. Mario jumps back and throws Fireballs from a distance. Lyn dodges all of them by running side to side and jumps up in the air for an Air Sword Strike. Mario jumps up in the air and lands a strong Flying Kick, sending Lyn flying back. Lyn lands on her feet and charges in with a fury of quick Sword Slashes. Mario dodges each one by sidestepping and Kicks Lyn back to gain some distance and charges in with a fury of Punches and Kicks. Lyn was able to block and dodge each one, but ended up getting hit by good amount of Punches and Kicks and sent flying upwards by a strong Uppercut. Mario jumps on the top platform and charges up for a strong Headbutt. As Mario is about to land a hit, Lyn lands a quick downward Air Sword Slash from above, follows it with multiple Sword Slashes, and a strong Slash that sends Mario offstage. Mario recovers using his Super Jump Punch and Lyn continues her attack with a fury of very quick Sword Slashes. Mario blocks every attack, grabs Lyn, and throws her into the blast zone with a Spinning Tornado Throw. Lyn returns back on stage, gains some distance from Mario, puts her Sword in her sheath, and gets in a sword stance. Mario charges in and throws some Fireballs when suddenly, Lyn disappears and Slashes him with a powerful blow in a blink of an eye, sending him flying into the blast zone. Mario returns back onstage and was surprised of Lyn's special attack. Mario got back on stage and attacks with his Punches and Kicks. Lyn rolls away from Mario's attacks and attacks back with fast Sword Slashes. Mario jumps back and lands a strong Air Punch and follows it with his Punch-Punch-Kick combo, knocking Lyn away. Lyn stood on her feet and went back to her Sword stance for another special attack. As soon as Lyn releases her attack, Mario was able to dodge it with a nice timed spot dodge and lands a strong Headbutt, sending her flying up. Mario jumps up and attacks with his Super jump Punch. Lyn air dodges away from it and lands fast fury strikes of Air Sword Slashes and follows it with a strong Air Slash, sending Mario flying. Mario jumps away and charges up his F.L.U.D.D. Lyn runs up to Mario and attacks with a Cross Sword Slash. As soon as Mario's F.L.U.D.D is charged up, he fires a blast of water and pushes Lyn off the stage. Mario jumps offstage and attacks with a strong Air Punch. Lyn recovers with an Upward Sword Slash, hitting Mario back on stage, and follows it with a strong Cross Slash attack, sending Mario across the stage. While Mario is getting back up, Lyn was in her sword stance and lands another powerful Sword Slash, sending him offstage and really close to the blast zone. Mario recovers back with his Super Jump Punch and Lyn attacks again with the same attack. Mario was able to dodge it with a nicely timed spot dodge and lands a strong Break Dance Kick, sending Lyn offstage. Lyn uses her Upward Air Slash to recover, but Mario sends her down with a nicely timed Air Punch, sending her down straight to the blast zone and winning the match.

Mario and Lyn returns back to the Smash Room after an exciting match. Both Smashers pant heavily because of how close the match was.

"Good fight, Lyn." Mario compliments, offering a handshake.

Lyn smiles and accepts Mario's handshake. “That was a great battle, Mario."

As they leave the Smash Computer, the two Smashers walk around and spectate other matches from other Smashers.

"I didn't expect you to be this quick. Your Sword Slashes were hard to predict that I was able to barely dodge or block them." Mario compliments.

Lyn smiles. "Thanks! I rather make my fighting style more about speed than strength. The way you fight was interesting. You have great strength, speed, and you have amazing jumping ability."

Mario smiles. "Thanks! You're really strong too. I can see how much different you are compared to other sword fighters here."

"I'm glad I'm able to give you a good fight. Next time I'll do new things to up my skills to beat you." Lyn warns.

While they walk around and spectate, Lyn watches a battle between Peach and Samus. "Wow, that noble princess is really good at fighting."

Mario looks up and watches the fight. "Yeah, she is a good fighter…"

Lyn looks at Mario and realizes the sad look on his face. "Are you ok? You seem a little sad."

"Oh, what? I'm just tired from our fight." Mario says, changing the look of his face.

"Hey Mario!"

Mario and Lyn look where the voice is coming from and sees Link and Pit heading towards them.

"Hey guys! How's yall's battle go?" Mario asks.

"Link won the battle with his Remote Bombs." Pit sadly says.

Link smirks. "Don't worry, you'll get me next time when we fight again." patting Pit on the back.

"You're next, Mario!" Pit exclaims.

Mario smirks. "All right then. Let's a go!"

"I'll spectate your match, Mario." Lyn says.

"Sure go ahead." Mario says.

So Mario and Pit get on a Smash Computer to fight while Link and Lyn spectate them.

Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 6

It was quite busy today inside the Smash Mansion. Smashers are either doing Smash Battles, going on missions, or just hanging out with each other. Mario, Link, and Pit are walking around the Smash Mansion figuring out what they should do today.

"Let's go do some Smash battles today!" Pit suggests.

"How about something else today? We just did a long sessions of battling yesterday." Link suggests.

"Hmm… How about the Smash Park? There's alot of things we can do there." Pit suggests.

"Nah, I want to do something like a mission. We should earn some money for the time we go to Smash Town. There are some sales there that’s about to happen soon." Mario suggests.

"I'm fine with that. We earn more money by doing missions than doing Smash battles." Link agreed.

"Ugh! I really want to do more Smash battles today! You and Link both beat me so many times and I want to get my revenge." Pit pouts, remembering the humiliating defeat.

"Sorry, but next time for sure." Mario says, messing up Pit's hair. “Come on, let’s see what the Mission Board have in store for us.”

Mario, Link, and Pit go up to the Mission Board to figure out what kind of missions they should do.

"Too many missions to choose from..." Link says, looking at all the mission posts.

"Let's do something that can give us good money." Pit suggests.

Mario looks closely at each mission and picks the one that interests him. "How about this one? Help me get my Cuccos back? The reward is a bag of Red Rupees for each person."

Suddenly, Link starts panicking. The fear from long ago is slowly coming back to him. "No! Not this mission! Anything but that!”

"Why not?" It seems like an easy mission to do." Pit says.

"Trust me! Cuccos are one of the worst creatures I’ve ever faced. They're a horde chickens that can kill you by hanging up on you! Trust me, I almost died from encountering them." Link warned.

Mario and Pit look at each other and burst out laughing together.

"You almost died from some chickens? That's really weak of you." Mario says, while laughing even harder.

"Oh I'm Link, the champion of Hyrule, and I almost died from a bunch of chickens!" Pix exclaims, while laughing his butt out.

Link got really irritated and puts his arms crossed together. "Fine, we can go on this mission and I'm not going to help you either. If you get hurt from them, it's not my fault."

"Don't worry, we're not going to be scared by a bunch of chickens. We can do this without your help." Pit says.

"If they do attack us, I can scare them away with my Fireballs." Mario says.

Link smirks. “We’ll see about that.”

…

After entering the Smash Portal, the three Smashers have arrived at their destination.

"Where are we?" Pit asks, looking around.

"This is Kakariko Village in my World. Cado must be the one who sent the mission since he's the only person in this village to have Cuccos." Link says.

"Do you know where we're suppose to go to?" Mario asks.

"Yes, follow me." Link replies.

Link leads to Mario and Pit to a house with a small barn with no Cuccos in it.

"Well, here goes nothing." Link says.

Link knocks a door and a crying old man answers.

"Sir Link, thank you for coming back to help find my Cuccos again."

"Hello, Cado. Don't worry about calling me sir." Link says.

"I see you brought some friends with you. I never have seen them before." Cado says, looking at Mario and Pit.

"Their names are Mario and Pit. They come from another world." Link introduces.

"I see. Nice to meet you two. Now please help Sir Link finding my Cuccos please. I have twenty of them." Cado asks nicely.

"Don't worry sir, we'll do our best." Pit says.

Cado smiles. "I wish you three luck then. And be careful when catching them." he warns them, going back into his house.

Mario, Link, and Pit search around the whole village and found five of the Cuccos together eating the carrots from the fields.

"I'll handle this, Link. This requires a big strong man like me to do this." Pit offers, while teasing Link.

Pit walks to the Cuccos casually when suddenly, the Cuccos all gang up on him and beating him up with their sharp pecks.

"Ahhh! Someone help me!" Pit screams in terror.

"Pit!" Mario cried.

Link smirks, takes out his Shiekah Slate, and takes pictures of Pit being demolished by Cuccos.

The three Smashers found the next five Cuccos inside someone's house.

"You go next, Mario." Pit nervously says.

Mario slowly goes inside the house with a net and started getting beat up by the Cuccos immediately. "Mama Mia!"

"Mario, nooo!" Pit exclaims.

Link watches and laugh so hard that he could die from laughter while taking pictures of Mario getting beaten up. "This is so good."

The last area where the rest of the Cuccos are is inside the Ta Loh Naeg Shrine. Mario and Pit smile at Link while he looks confused.

"All right, Link, it's your turn." Pit says.

"What are you talking about?" Link asks.

"Since we already caught our Cuccos in our assigned areas, that means you have to do the last one." Mario pointed out.

Link smiles back. "Remember what I said before we accepted the mission? I said that I won't be helping you in catching any Cuccos. And Pit, you said that you're ok with that. Did that ring any bells?"

Mario and Pit think about what they said earlier and remembered.

"Come on, Link, please help us!" Pit begs.

Link puts his arms together. "Nope. You said that you don't need my help."

"I'll give you half of my reward to you." Mario offered, hoping Link accepts it.

"Nope. Since you two were making fun of me earlier this is the struggle you deserve." Link smiles.

Mario and Pit look at each other and sigh. They go up to the Cuccos and as obvious, the animals all attack the two Smashers and start beating them up. Link again takes out his Shiekah Slate and takes pictures.

"Can't wait to show this to everyone in the Smash Mansion." Link thinks to himself.

…

Mario, Link, and Pit arrived back at the Cucco Farm and puts the rest of them back to their homes.

"Cado, we returned all of your Cuccos back." Link called.

Cado walks out of his house and cries in tear of joy. "Thank you so much, Sir Link and friends. I'm really grateful."

Mario and Pit were so beat up and tired that they just raise their fist up and nod.

"They really had a rough time today." Link says, smiling.

"Here's your reward that I promised." Cado says, giving each Smasher a bag of Red Rupees. "I know it's hard for me to say this, but how about I give you one Cucco to take care of?"

Mario and Pit look at each other and wave their head no really fast and hug each other.

"It's ok. They can't handle a single Cucco in their life. Thanks again for the reward." Link thanked.

"No problem. If something like this happened again, I will call for you three again. You really know how to get them back." Cado happily says.

"Don't worry, we'll come again and help you." Link says.

The Smashers are all in the auditorium and laugh their butts out when Link presents them pictures of Mario and Pit getting beaten by Cuccos. It was so successful that even the Smashers who don't laugh smirk and giggle.

"Did we really deserve this?" Pit wonders.

"I guess so. We shouldn't look down on Cuccos again." Mario says.

"And I'm not going to make fun of Link if we have to do a mission like that again." Pit says, as they nod in agreement.

The two Smashers continue watching the slideshow of Link's pictures while the Smashers continue laughing at them.

Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 7

Today was a good day to be outside with the weather being not hot nor cold. It was just perfect. Mario, Link, and Pit are at the Smash Park having a good time by playing on the swings on who can jump the farthest distance by jumping off the swing.

"I'll go first." Pit rocks his body back and forth, jumps off high in the air, and landed twenty five feet away from the swings. "Ha! Beat that!"

"Guess I'm next." Link rocks his body back and forth jumps off his swing and landed twenty feet away from the swings, looking kind of disappointed.

"Woo hoo! I beat Link in this challenge!" Pit cheered.

"You beat me, but that doesn't mean you won the challenge yet." Link said.

"He's right you know. Let me show you how it's done." Mario rocks his body back and forth, jumps really high into the air over Link and Pit, and landed fifty feet away from the swings. "The challenge is now over.”

"Darn it! I really thought I had a good jump too." Pit sadly says.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll beat me next time. With a lot of jumping, I'm sure you'll beat me." Mario says, patting Pit on his head.

"I wish I can fly so I can beat everyone. Let's go on another round!" Pit demanded.

While Mario, Link, and Pit are going back on the swings, Lyn appeared and walks up to the Smashers.

"Hey guys. What are you up to?" Lyn greeted.

"We're having a contest on who can jump the farthes.” Link replies.

"Want to join? The more the merrier." Pit asks.

"Sorry. I actually want to go on a mission with Mario." Lyn apologizes.

"Sure, I'll go." Mario says, getting off of his swing.

"But Mario... what about our rematch?" Pit sadly asks.

"Sorry Pit. We can do our rematch when I come back." Mario apologized.

"Come on Pit, it's only us two this time." Link says, as they go back on the swings for another contest.

Lyn looks back as Link and Pit continues their swinging contest and smiles. “Looks like a lot of fun.”

"Of course! You should do it too." Mario suggests.

"When I was younger, I never do anything fun like that because my family and tribe has been killed by Bandits." Lyn says, looking down.

Mario turns shocked. He didn’t expect anything like that from Lyn. "Really?!"

Lyn nods and looks up to Mario. "I was the only one who survived and while growing up and trained to become an amazing swordsman to get revenge on those Bandits. After the final battle against a villain named Nergal and a giant Dragon, I made so many friends everything was calmed down. Even now… I still feel upset since I didn't get a chance to be with my family and tribe for very long.”

"I'm really sorry to hear that. You shouldn't worry about what happened in your past. One day, I'll take you to my world and we can have so much fun together. In my world, there's a lot of activities we can do like Karting, Tennis, Baseball, Party Games, Dancing, and- “ Mario gets cut off

"Dancing? Do you know how to dance?" Lyn surprisingly asks.

"Well... yeah I do." Mario replies, feeling embarrassed.

"That's amazing! You should definitely dance for me one day. I won't judge" Lyn suggests.

"Umm... can we talk about the mission, please?" Mario asks politely.

"Oh right!" Lyn takes out a mission request paper. "The mission is, please help me conquer my fear of Poke… mon? Po… Kemon?”

Mario giggles on how Lyn pronounces Pokémon. "It's pronounced, Pokémon."

"Oh whoops. Aren't they those animal creatures like Pikachu, Charizard, and Jigglypuff?" Lyn asks.

"That's right! I only seen them because of this tournament. I wonder what else Pokémon there are." Mario says.

"I want to see more cute ones like Pikachu and Jigglypuff." Lyn happily says.

...

Mario and Lyn went inside a Smash Portal and arrived at their destination, Pallet Town. The two Smashers look around and see people smiling with their Pokémon with them such as Pidgeys, Geodudes, Staryu, Psyduck, and a lot more.

"Wow… there are a lot of Pokémon here." Mario says, looking around.

"They're so cute! I want one." Lyn happily says, looking at a Butterfree and Growlithe.

"Focus Lyn, we're not here to hang around and catch them all. But, I do seem interested in owning my very own Pokémon." Mario says, looking at a Meowth.

The two Smashers walk around Pallet Town and asked around about the person who's trying to get over their fear of Pokémon. After asking almost everyone, they were led to a house with a big garden. Mario knocks on a door and a man holding onto an Abra answers them.

"Hello, how can I help you?"

"Hi sir, we were led here because there's someone who wants to get over their problem with Pokémon." Mario greeted.

"Ah yes. I'm the one who sent a mission request about that. Please come in."

Mario and Lyn go into the man's house, which has a lot of pictures of him when he was younger with his Pokémon and a lot of medals and some trophies.

"You must've won a lot of Pokémon battles when you were younger." Lyn surprisingly says, looking at the awards.

"Yeah, those were the old days. I'm now a professor at a Pokémon School, which is a lot of fun. I get to teach upcoming Pokémon Trainers how to catch, battle, and treat their Pokémon. Sherry! Come down here please!"

Rushing down the stairs was a young girl with an Eevee doll in her arms. "Yes father?"

"So cute." Lyn thinks to herself, looking at the Eevee doll.

"These two nice people would like to help you with your fear of Pokémon."

"Sorry father, but I don't want to get involved with Pokémon anymore." Sherry apologizes.

"But why, honey?"

"It's just I'm too scared that I don't want to get involved with them anymore." Sherry sadly says.

"Didn't you tell me that you want to become a Pokémon Trainer like me one day? Traveling around, having exciting battles, and befriending them?"

"Yes… but someone like me can't become a Pokémon Trainer like you, Dad. I'm sorry for disappointing you." Sherry apologizes as she walks back upstairs to her room.

Lyn walks up the stairs Sherry and places her hand on her shoulder. "Listen Sherry, I have a friend who is just like you. She's afraid just like you, but with men since she's not used to being with them. She was really shy and even scared when she's near a man. After being with them for a good amount of time, she got used to being with them even though she's still shy around them. You remind me of her a lot. It may take sometime, but I'm sure you can be a great Pokémon Trainer when you get over your fear of them. You can be like her if you try and not give up. I know you can."

After hearing what Lyn said, Sherry thought about it and smiles. "Sure! I'll give it a try. I want to become a Pokémon Trainer just like my Dad.”

Lyn smiles. "That's the spirit."

"So what should we do?" Mario joins in.

"You mean you don't have any Pokémon?"

"We're not actually from this world." Mario admits.

"Then allow me to teach you how to catch and fight with Pokémon."
...

Outside where the closest route areas is the best place to find Pokémon. Mario, Lyn, and Sherry go up to a grassy area and spot a Eevee not too far from them.

"Aww! It's so cute!" Lyn exclaims.

"That's an Eevee, the one I always wanted." Sherry happily says.

"I'll make sure I catch it. Let's go, Charmander!" Mario says, throwing out his Pokémon. An orange lizard Pokémon went out of his ball and roars in excitement.

"That Pokémon is cute too!" Lyn happily says.

"Let me focus, Lyn. Charmander use Scratch!" Mario ordered.

Charmander runs at Eevee and attacks with his sharp nails. The Eevee dodges the attack and lands a Tackle on Charmander, sending it flying back. While battling, Lyn sees Sherry covering her eyes with her hands while the two Pokémon is fighting.

"What's the matter, Sherry?" Lyn asks.

"It's just… I don't like seeing Pokémon hurt each other. That's another thing I fear about them. I don't like them getting hurt." Sherry sadly replies.

"Listen Sherry, if you want to become a Pokémon Trainer like your dad, you have to learn to get over watching Pokémon fight. If that’s part of becoming a Trainer then you’ll have to get use to it. It’s actually kind of exciting.” Lyn says, as she continues watching the battle.

Sherry removes her hands out of her eyes and watches the Pokémon battle. “I’ll try.”

"Charmander use Ember!" Mario ordered.

Charmander fires small bursts of flames out of its mouth and hits Eevee, causing it to get really tired.

"Now's my chance!" Mario exclaims, throwing a Pokeball at Eevee.

The Pokeball hits Eevee and captures it inside. The Pokeball shakes a few times 1... 2... 3... click. Eevee has been captured. The two Smashers and Sherry cheer for catching their first Pokémon.

Mario goes up to Charmander and gives it a high-five.
"I caught my first Pokémon!"

"Great job, Mario. You can be a Pokémon Trainer too." Lyn compliments.

"Really? Maybe I should do that one day." Mario says.

Sherry runs up to Mario and he gives the Pokeball with Eevee in it to her. Sherry takes out Eevee out of the Pokeball and the Pokémon goes up there and rubs its face onto her leg. Sherry can't help, but smile and gives it a big hug. Mario and Lyn smile for her while Sherry and Eevee are having their moment together.

The two Smashers return back to Sherry's house and received their reward, 5,000 Pokedollars.

"For two people who didn't know anything about Pokémon, you did well making my daughter grow."

"Thank you for helping, Mario and Lyn!" Sherry happily thanked, as the Eevee happily says her own name.

"You're welcome. It's fun doing a Pokémon battle and catching them." Mario says, putting his award in his pocket.

"Hope you continue to grow, Sherry. Someday you’ll be stronger and be a great Trainer.” Lyn says.

Sherry nods her head yes. "Of course! I'll become a Pokémon Trainer now thanks to you two."

The Smash Portal appeared, Mario and Lyn wave bye to Sherry and her father, and arrived back to the Smash Mansion.

"You should catch me an Eevee.” Lyn says.

"Why bother do it yourself? And besides, I don't think Sakurai will allow that." Mario stated.

"That’s too bad… I at least had a lot of fun doing a mission with you. Let's do it again next time." Lyn happily says.

Mario smiles. "Of course! We should do this more often.”

"Mario!"

Mario and Lyn look and see Pit running towards them.

"It's time for our rematch!" Pit exclaims, pulling Mario's arm.

"What?! Now?! Can we do it tomorrow? I want to rest from today’s mission." Mario asks politely.

"Nope! We're doing it now if you like it or not!" Pit demanded.

"Give me a break." Mario sighs. “Don’t cry when I beat you again.”

“I’m not going to cry!” Pit says.

Lyn giggles while watching Pit pulling Mario to the Smash Park. "Let me join too. Maybe i can beat Mario’s record.”

“You sound so sure of yourself. Ok then, it’s on.” Mario smirks

Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 8

Mario and Pit are having their battle at the Great Bay. The battle started with Mario sending Pit flying with a Smash Punch onto the Giant Turtle. Pit lands on his feet and shoots Light Arrows with his Palutena's Bow. Mario uses his jumping ability to avoid all of the incoming Light Arrows and throws some Fireballs. Pit takes out his Guardian Orbitars and reflects all of them back, hitting Mario in the air. Mario prepares to throw another Fireball, but was hit hard by Pit's Slash smash attack, sending him flying offstage. Mario landed in the water while Pit is about to attack with an Air Slash from above. Mario jumps away from Pit's attack and recovers quickly back onto the stage. Pit climbs back on stage, but Mario sent him flying with a strong Kick, sending him close to the blast zone. Pit was able to stop himself and flies back onto the stage. Mario gets close to Pit and attacks with Punches and Kicks. Pit dodges and blocks every attack Mario throws and lands a strong Slash attack and follows up with a Dash Slash attack, sending Mario flying to the other side of the stage. Mario lands on a platform and Pit flies toward him with an Upperdash Arm attack. Mario looks behind him and sees the Giant Turtle is about to dive underwater and smirks. As Pit got close, Mario blocks his attack, grabs him by the legs and throws him straight to the Giant Turtle. Pit flaps his wings as fast he can, but it was too late as the Giant Turtle hits him under his face and sends him down and losing the match.

Mario and Pit shake hands after their battle and head straight to the Mission Board.

"That was a nice trick you did. That Giant Turtle sent me down the ocean like a meteor." Pit compliments.

"Thanks! I thought it was smart doing that, but it was actually pretty funny of taking you out by a Giant Turtle." Mario giggles.

"Next time we fight, I'm going to find a stage and do some funny gimp like what you did to me." Pit warned.

Mario smirks. "Let me see you try or else I'll be doing the same thing to you."

Mario and Pit arrived at the Mission Board and look over the missions. While looking, Pit picks out one mission with a picture that he recognizes.

"You found something, Pit?" Mario asks.

"This is… Viridi's Staff. Can you read what it says?" Pit asks.

Mario takes the paper out of Pit's hands and starts reading. "My Staff has been stolen. Can somebody help finding it for me?"

"Viridi lost her Staff? How can she lose something so important?" Pit wonders.

"Since you know this person, want to do this mission?" Mario asks.

Pit sighs. "Not really… But fine. Let me ask Lady Palutena if she wants come.”

…

The three Smashers arrived at their destination for their mission, Palutena's Temple. Mario looks around and was amazed of the structure, all the Angels that are flying above him, and the giant Palutena statue in the very back.

"Amazing..." Mario looks around his surroundings.

"This is the first time you seen this since you only met Pit above the clouds during the Subsbace Emissary Adventure.
This is my temple." Palutena introduces.

"It's so big here and there are a lot of Angles that live here.” Mario pointed out.

"These are all my servants. I have them live here since there’s just so much room. How about I show you my palace?”Palutena suggests.

“Yes please!” Mario answers.

When they arrived at Palutena's palace, Mario was amazed that it was so huge and fancy compared to other ones he seen before.

"This is so huge! It’s a lot bigger than the other Palaces I’ve been to. Do you live here too, Pit?" Mario asks.

“Yep! I've lived here since I was a young boy." Pit replied.

“Really? So you’re like a mother to him, Palutena.” Mario says.

“You can say that. I’ve picked up Pit when he was really little. No parents and home to stay with. So I let him stay with me.” Palutena explains.

“Lady Palutena has been such a great mother to me. Even though her cooking isn’t the best…” Pit admits.

“Pit!” Palutena cried.

“What? I’m just being honest.” Pit says.

Mario couldn’t help by laugh. “It’s ok. Not everyone knows how to cook. Maybe I can teach you a thing or two.”

“That’ll be great.” Palutena says.

While walking around, the Smashers see the little goddess with long white hair and a flower outfit, Viridi. She rushes towards the Smashers with her nasty attitude that Pit and Palutena knows.

"Where have you been?! I've been waiting for like one hour!" Viridi asks.

"We just arrived here. What's the big rush?" Pit asks.

"Because my Staff is gone, Pit Stain! What if someone found it and kept it for themselves or it has been..." Viridi stops talking when she sees Mario next to them. “Is that… Mario?! Who’s also known as Mr. Video and Jump Man?”

"The one and only. Yahoo!” Mario cheered.

Viridi walks up to him and shakes his hand. "My name is Viridi, Goddess of Nature. I know a lot about you, your companions, your world, and everything about Piranha Plants.”

"Glad to meet another fan." Mario happily says.

"Umm… hello? Aren't we're here for something important?" Pit reminded.

"Oh right, the mission. Go and find my Staff for me please. I dropped it around this temple when I arrived here." Viridi says.

"You must be really clumsy for losing a something valuable and lazy." Pit says.

"Hey! Goddesses aren't always perfect you know?" Viridi angrily says.

"Don't worry, we'll do our best to find your Staff for you." Mario says.

Viridi smiles. "Thanks Mario, you’re a nice human."

"What about me and all the nice things I did for you?" Pit wondered.

"Well... I just don't like you." Viridi puts out her tongue.

"That's true..." Pit sighs. “Ok Lady Palutena, let’s search for Viridi’s Staff.”

"Actually, I’m not partaking on this mission.” Palutena says.

“What?! Why?!” Pit asks.

“While you and Mario are doing the mission, we'll be playing some New Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo Switch.” Palutena answers.

"Why can't you help out and use a power that can help search for her staff? Or something.” Pit asks.

"Ahh… I don’t know... Guess I’m lazy too.” Palutena says.

“Make sure it’s back in one piece!” Viridi says.

Palutena and Viridi leaves the two Smashers and head to the Game Room.

"This is probably going to take a while. Why even bring Lady Palutena if she’s not going to help us?" Pit says.

"Don't worry, think of this like a challenge. Whoever finds the Staff first is the winner." Mario says.

"You're on! I’m going to get you back from that Smash Battle.” Pit says.

…

Mario and Pit split up and look around the palace. Mario searches around the front and ask some Angels if they see Viridi’s Staff, but nothing. He searches around more outside and ask for more help. Pit searches around inside the Palace and asked around about the Staff. No luck at all, but Pit continues searching in places like the Kitchen, the Hot Spring, and even the Game Room where Palutena and Viridi are.

“Pit, you know that my Staff wouldn’t be in here.” Viridi says.

“Better to check then not to.” Pit searches around the Game Room and leaves.

“What got him so fired up?” Viridi paused their game.

“Probably doing another challenge. They always do this even if it’s something small.” Palutena says.

After searching around, the two Smashers met up with each other.

“Found anything?” Pit asks.

“Nothing. What about you?” Mario asks.

“Same as you. Where could it be?” Pit wonders.

“I thought you would find it first since you know a lot about this place.” Mario says.

“Even so… It’s weird that Viridi would lose something so important. It’s not like she would’ve dropped it on the ground and left it.” Pit says.

“Then there’s a possibility that someone or something might’ve taken it away from her.” Mario says.

“Hmm… Oh! There’s one more place I can check.” Pit started running.

“Hey! Wait for me!” Mario chases after Pit.

The two Smashers arrived at a large room with three treasure chests inside.

“This maybe where Viridi’s staff in.” Pit says.

“What makes you think that?” Mario asks.

“So whenever I go to this room there’s an always new treasure for me to pick up every time I go on a mission. If I’m right, Viridi’s Staff maybe in one of these chests.” Pit says.

“Let’s give it a shot.” Mario opens one up that's filled up with colorful gems. “Don’t see it in here. But look at all these gems…”

“Don’t take them or else Lady Palutena will get mad. I’ll open the second one.” Pit opens the next Treasure Chest next and inside was Viridi’s Staff. "I found it!"

"Aww man. Looks like you beat me this time.” Mario says.

“Aha! I won my revenge match! Now to give this to Viridi.” Pit spins Viridi’s Staff

“Hmm… I wonder what's inside the last chest." Mario goes up to the third chest.

Pit looks at the chest and realizes that it’s smaller compared to the two which could mean bad news. "Wait, don’t open it!"

As Mario is about to open it, two legs a”popped up on the chest and stands up. "What is this?!" The chest Kicks Mario, sending him flying into a wall. "Aaargh!"

The Chest attacks Mario again, but Pit blocks the attack with his Twin Blades and pushes it away.

"That's a Mimicutie, a master of disguise when it comes to Chests." Pit readies up his weapon.

“Oh man… That Kick sure hurts a lot… And they’re so long it’s like a Sword.” Mario looks at the Minicutie.

“Stand back Mario, let me show you how it’s done.” Pit says.

…

The Mimicutie strikes at Pit with a strong Lunge Kick. Pit dodges it with a sidestep and attacks with a strong Swing of his Palutena’s Bow. The Mimicutie evades the attack and attacks back with a really quick Kick. Pit blocks the attack and pushes the Mimicutie back to gain some distance. The Mimicutie runs towards Pit in high speed and attacks with a furious of fast Kicks. Pit blocks and dodges most of them, but ended up getting hit with the last Kick, sending him flying in the air. Pit lands back on his feet, detaches his Bow into Twon Blades, and attacks the chest straight on. The Mimicutie and dodges and blocks the attacks with its legs, but got hit from a strong Slash attack with both blades from Pit, sending it flying in the air. Pit jumps and lands a downward Air Blade Slash, sending the Mimicutie crashing on the ground. The Mimicutie rises back up and lands a quick and powerful Flying Kick. Pit uses its strength to hold onto the Mimicutie's leg, takes out his Upperdash Arm, and lands a powerful Punch, destroying the Mimicutie. Out of the Mimicutie came out are a big load of colorful gems.

Pit lands on the ground and does a peace sign pose. "Victory!"

Mario claps for the young angel. "Well done, Pit.”

Pit smiles. "Thanks! We should keep these gems and take them to the Smash World."

“Are you sure we shouldn’t leave them here?” Mario asks.

“Don’t worry, more chests will pop up later so there’ll be more gems.” Pit grabbing as many gems as he can.

“Can’t say no to that.” Mario joins Pit in gathering gems.

After collecting all the gems, Mario and Pit arrived at the Game Room and sees Palutena and Viridi still playing some video games together.

"Viridi, we got your Staff back!" Pit waved it around.

Viridi pauses the game and takes her Staff back quickly away from Pit. "It's finally back to me! Thank you for your help, Mario."

Mario rubs the back of his head. "Glad I could help.”

"But… I was the one who found it." Pit stated.

"Oh umm... I guess thanks for finding it in the treasure chest." Viridi continues hugging her Staff.

"Wait a minute… how did you know it was in a treasure chest?" Pit asks.

Viridi realizes what she said and covered her mouth. "I uhh... Well… Lucky guess?”

"I know why. Viridi put her Staff in one of the empty chests here in the palace and pretends that she doesn't know where it is just for us to come here. Isn't that right, Viridi?" Palutena smirks.

Viridi tries thinking of another answer, but admits it. "Yes, it's true. I just… miss seeing you two since you're having fun in the Super Smash Bros tournament. I wish I was a Smasher and join in on the fun."

"Why didn't you say so? If you want, I can come visit you anytime. Give me a hug." Pit says spreading his arms out.

"I don't miss you that much… and no hugging!” Viridi says putting her arms together.

“Aww… Not even one?” Pit asks kindly.

“No!” Viridi angrily answered.

"Viridi, remember their reward for finding your Staff." Palutena reminds her.

"Oh right! Here are five hundred gems for each of you. I gave you fifty gems extra for you, Mario." Viridi gives them their reward.

"Thank you, Viridi. That’s even more gems since we got some earlier from the Treasure Chests." Mario happily thanked.

"That's not fair! How come Mario gets fifty more gems than me?!" Pit cried.

"Like I said before, I don't like you." Viridi reminded.

Pit sighs and accepts what he received. "I guess that’s fair… By the way, where’s Pittoo?”

"He was with me earlier before you all came. Now I don't know where he is." Viridi says.

"Oh… When you see him, tell him I said hi." Pit says.

"Let's go back to the Smash Mansion. Mario is going to teach me how to cook.” Palutena says.

“Oh yeah! Almost forgot about that.” Mario says.

"Before you go, can I have your autograph, Mario? Here on my Staff is good.” Viridi asks kindly.

"Of course!" Mario signs his signature on her Staff. “Here you go.”

"Thank you so much! When you get back, kick Pit's butt for me when you two fight again." Viridi says.

“Why do you hate me that much?” Pit sadly says.

A Smash Portal appeared and the Smashers say their goodbyes and left. As the three Smashers left, Dark Pit just appeared.

"I heard goody two shoes’s voice. Where is he?"

"He just left a few seconds ago. Should’ve been here while they were here.” Viridi says.

Dark Pit groans. “Next time for sure!”

Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 9

Mario and Kirby are fighting at Wario Ware and clashing Punches and Kicks back and forth. Mario jumps up in the air and attacks with an Air Punch. Kirby dodges away with a cartwheel and lands a strong Smash Kick, sending Mario towards the other side of the stage. Mario lands on his feet and charges up his F.L.U.D.D to full power. Kirby jumps up multiple times, turns into a Thwhomp and falls straight down like a meteor. Mario rolls away in time and lands a strong Punch, sending Kirby back to the other side. The stage changes into a mini game where they have to taunt for the camera. Mario does a thumb up while Kirby waves with his hands and the camera takes a picture of them. The stage returns back to it's normal self with the two Smashers receiving something special. Mario regains some percentage while Kirby turned huge. Kirby attacks Mario with a furry of Punches. Mario does his best to avoid them, but ended up getting hit in the face and sent flying off the stage. Kirby jumps off stage and attacks with an Air Spinning Tornado Kick. Mario double jumps and lands a Back Flip Kick on Kirby, and recovers back on stage with his Super Jump Punch. Kirby recovers back on stage with his Air Cutter attack and Mario gains the advantage by hitting Kirby with a strong Kick, sending him close to the Blast Zone. Luckily, the stage changed into the chisel mini game, saving Kirby. Both Smashers run to the giant stone and break as much stone as they can. In the end, Mario was able to hit most of it and got a Star Power Up out of it. Kirby runs away since he can't hurt Mario for a few seconds. Mario chases after Kirby and lands a powerful Headbutt sending Kirby flying into the Blast Zone and winning the battle.

Mario and Kirby arrived back at the Smash Mansion, shook hands for their great fight, and head out of the Smash Room.

"Aww man… All this battling is making me hungry.” Kirby says.

“Same here. I’m thinking of something sweet like a dessert.” Mario says.

“Ooohhh! I have an idea! Let’s go to my world and eat a Giant Cookie.” Kirby says.

“A Giant Cookie?!" Mario surprisingly says.

"Yeah! When I went to my world for a mission, Chef Kawasaki told me that he'll make me a Giant Cookie for helping him gather ingredients for his restaurant.” Kirby says.

"A Giant Cookie sounds amazing right now. With some milk.” Mario says.

“How about it? Let’a go to my world and visit Chef Kawasaki.” Kirby says.

“Sounds good. Lead the way, Kirby.” Mario says.

Kirby made a big smile on his face and hugs Mario. "This is going to be great! Let’s go!”

…

Mario and Kirby arrived at Cappy Town and head to the Restaurant, Kawasaki. The two Smashers went through the entrance and the Chef happily greet them.

"Oh hello, Kirby! Looks like you brought in another new friend with you." Chef Kawasaki happily greeted.

"Hi, Chef Kawasaki! This is Mario, he's another one of my friends at the Super Smash Bros tournament.” Kirby introduces.

"It's nice to meet you." Mario greeted, as he and the chef shake hands.

"Nice to meet you too, buddy! I know why you two are here. You're here to try out the Giant Cookie I promised." Chef Kawasaki says.

Mario and Kirby's eyes glitter like stars. "Yep!"

"All righty then. Give me like ten minutes and it'll be ready shortly." Chef Kawasaki says, going into the Kitchen.

"I can't wait to try the cookie!" Kirby happily exclaims.

"Me too!" Mario agreed with the same excitement.

"Oh no!" Chef Kawasaki runs out of the Kitchen. "I’m sorry to say this, but I'm out of dough."

"What?! Where did it all go?" Kirby asks.

"I was making a big order of fifty large cakes for a customer. Must be a big party." Chef Kawasaki replies.

The two Smashers got upset. "So no Giant Cookie huh?"

"Unless, you two go and get me dough from the store, then I can make you it." Chef Kawasaki says.

"We'll do it!" Mario and Kirby said at the same time.

The two Smashers rushed out of the restaurant in a hurry.

“Wow… Kirby and his friend really want to eat that Giant Cookie.” Chef Kawasaki says.

Mario and Kirby are at the super market and bought five huge bags of cookie dough. The two Smashers left the store and head back to the restaurant.

"Aww man, I can’t wait!" Kirby happily says.

"Yeah, my tongue is already tingling." Mario happily says.

“This got to be the best cookie in the world.” Kirby happily says.

“Hope that we get a giant glass of milk too.” Mario says.

While they're heading the restaurant, a small like creature wearing a black robe and a green bag approaches the two Smashers and quickly took away all of the cookie dough.

"Hey!" Mario called out.

"That was a Tac. Give that back to us!" Kirby cried.

The Tac didn’t listen and runs away.

“Guess it’s the hard way then.” Mario says.

“Let’s go after it!” Kirby says.

Mario and Kirby chases after the Tac. The Tac looks behind and thows out its hand with a Punch. Mario and Kirby dodges away and runs even faster. The Tac's hand comes back, grabs Mario from behind, and throws him away to the side.

"Mario!" Kirby called.

"It's ok, I'll catch up. Just keep going." Mario says, slowing getting back up.

Kirby continues running and takes out his Hammer. The Tac throws out its hand for another Punch. Kirby jumps to the side for the first attack and jumps over it again from the second attack. As the Tac's hand returns, it started running faster in a speed that Kirby can't catch up. Kirby throws his Hammer, hoping it'll hit the enemy. The Tac was able to jump on top of it, uses it to jump on top of a building, and runs back the other way. Kirby gets his Hammer back and runs after the Tac in the other way. The Tac hides in a camouflage blanket, hiding away from Kirby. Kirby looks around and continues searching around. The Tac got out of its blanket when suddenly, Mario hits it with a strong Punch from behind, sending it off of the building. Mario jumps down in front of the Tac and Kirby runs behind it.

"You have to return those back to us or we'll have to beat it out of you." Kirby warns.

"Wait! Please don't do that!" the Tac spoke. "I just wanted to try to Giant Cookie that Chef Kawasaki was suppose to prepare for you two.

“How did you know?” Mario asks.

“I overheard you guys when you were inside the Kawasaki’s.” The Tac says.

"Why didn't you just ask us to let you join us?" Mario asks.

"I thought, you two will eat it for yourselves." the Tac says.

Kirby smiles and offered his hand. "We're not that stubborn. Come join us and we'll eat it together."

The Tac smiles and accepts Kirby's help. "Let's go eat that cookie.

…

Mario, Kirby, and Tac are inside the restaurant, waiting for the Giant Cookie. Chef Kawasaki brought out the cookie and It was ten feet tall and ten feet wide, covered with chocolate chips, and coated with frosting. The scent of the cookie got to the three of them and their mouth begin to drool.

"Go ahead and dig in!" Chef Kawasaki says.

Mario, Kirby, and the Tac took a bite of the Giant Cookie, their eyes become watery because of how delicious it is. The three of them then begin to tear off the cookie but by bit like there was no tomorrow.

Chef Kawasaki eats a piece and joins the three of them in demolishing the Giant Cookie. After a while, the four of them finished the Giant Cookie with no crumbs to be found.

"That Giant Cookie was amazing!" Kirby happily says.

"I agree." the Tac nods.

"Wish we can have another one." Mario says.

"Sorry fellas, but I'm too tired from just cooking that. But, I'll definitely cook it again for next time." Chef Kawasaki says.

"We're forward to it." Mario says.

“Hey, thanks for letting me have some of that Giant Cookie.” the Tac bow respectfully.

Mario and Kirby smiled.

“No problem. Next time ask before you steal the ingredients from us.” Mario says.

“If you did that again, I would inhale you.” Kirby laughs.

The Tac started to sweat. “Please don’t.”

“Hey come on now. You’re always welcome to Kawasaki’s whenever you feel like it. Next time I’m charging you all when you ask for another Giant Cookie.” Chef Kawasaki says.

“Aww… Fine…” Kirby pouts.

“Not everything in the world is free, Kirby. Need money to keep my business, you know?” Chef Kawasaki says.

Mario and Kirby returns back to the Smash Mansion and tells some Smashers their experience about the Giant Cookie.

"It was ten feet tall and ten feet wide! It was covered with chocolate frosting and chocolate chips!" Kirby happily says.

"It was the most delicious cookie I ever tasted." Mario stated.

"How come you didn’t bring any to us?" King Dedede sadly wondered.

"Yeah, you should have think about your other friends." Wario sadly says.

"Don't worry, I'll ask Chef Kawasaki to make some for here too!" Kirby happily says.

"You better. I want to try that cookie too." Ike says.

Grind time is a good way to get stronger for whatever comes at you. Mario is in the training room learning more about his moveset and what he should improve for upcoming battles. He uses a Smash Computer that's exclusive for training and called out for another dummy that looks exactly like him.

"Ok, how about this?"

Mario grabs the clone, throws it down to the ground, and follows up with his Punch-Punch-Kick combo. The next thing he did is throws the clone down again and follows it with a couple of Uppercuts. The last thing he tried was throwing the clone upwards and follows it with a couple of Back Flip Kicks. The clone faded away and Mario's done with his training.

"That should do it. I learned a good amount of things today. Time for a nice snack to fill me up.”

Mario leaves the training room and head to the cafeteria for a delicious snack. While heading to the Cafeteria, Mario sees Peach and Zelda walking towards his direction. Like before, he wasn't ready to talk or even make eye contact with her and just run in a different direction.

Zelda sees Mario and called out for him. "Hey Mario!"

Even though Mario heard Zelda's voice, he continues running, pretending that he didn't hear her. "Sorry, Zelda."

Zelda looked confused. "Did Mario hear me? I thought my voice was loud enough for him to hear."

"I’m Sorry Zelda, but I think it's because that he doesn't want to see me yet." Peach apologizedz

Zelda looks at Peach with a surprised look. "But why? Weren't you and Mario lovers?"

"Yeah… but not anymore. A lot has happened between the two of us." Peach sadly says.

"What?! You have to tell me everything, Peach. I want to know why you and Mario aren’t close anymore.” Zelda demanded with a pouting face.

Peach sighs in disbelief. “Ok… But let’s do it in our room.”

“Great! Samus would love to hear this story too.” Zelda holds Peach’s hand and quickly runs to their room.

Mario arrived back at his room while Link and Pit are playing Mario Party on their Nintendo Switch. “That was close…”

Link pauses the game and looks at his friend. "What's the matter, Mario?"

"It looks like you just saw a monster or something." Pit stated.

"Sorry guys, it's nothing. What are you two playing?" Mario tries to change the subject.

While Mario is trying to fetch for another controller, Link takes it away from him. "Is it because you saw Peach? There's no other reason you look scared."

"Umm… no." Mario tries hiding it, but decides to spill the beans since Link already knows. "Yeah, I saw Peach walking with Zelda earlier."

"Did something happen between you and Princess Peach? Please tell us" Pit begged on his knees.

"I don't know… Mario looks down on the ground, feeling a bit uncomfortable.

"Come on, it'll make you feel better." Pit begs.

“Pit’s right. Hiding it will only hurt more if you don’t share it. Unless you don’t feel like it.” Link says.

Mario sighs and sits down on the couch. "Ok, I'll tell you what happened between me and Peach. It’s going to be a long story.”

"Yeah, story time!" Pit cheered, sitting next to Mario.

“Tell us everything.” Link sits next to Pit.

Mario takes deep breaths and was ready.
“It all began like this.”

One month ago before the Super Smash Bros Tournament.

It was a big day for the red plumber and he wants to make sure everything is perfect. Mario was searching in his closet for some nice clothes to wear and was choosing between a nice black tuxedo or a more casual clothing of a red long sleeve shirt with blue jeans.

"This is hard… What should I wear? Something fancy to give a good impression or something light casual to feel more comfortable.” Mario continues thinking until he hears someone knocking on his door. "Come in."

Luigi lets himself into their room. "Hey Mario, what you up to?"

"Luigi, great timing! Which set of clothes should I wear?" Mario asks showing the clothes.

"Hmm… It matters the situation. What are you going to be doing today?" Luigi asks.

Mario smiles. "After many adventures, I'm going to finally ask to Peach marry me."

Luigi smiles widely for his brother and couldn’t contain his happiness. "That's wonderful news! If you're going to do something so important like that, then wear the tuxedo. The suit makes the man.”

"Thanks, Luigi." Mario happily thanked putting his other set of clothes away.

"Where are you going to propose at?" Luigi asks, looking at a picture of Mario and Peach together.

"I decided to propose at this fancy restaurant Italian restaurant that just opened up at New Donk City. I made a reservation and have a Waiter holding onto my wedding ring there. Hopefully she says yes." Mario replies.

"There's no way that she'll say no after everything you've done together. It was meant to be." Luigi happily says.

Mario smiles at his brother for all the support he’s giving him. "Thanks, Luigi."
He changes into his tuxedo, sprays some of his best cologne, and puts some gel to style up his hair. "How do I look?"

Luigi gives a thumb up. "Like a million gold coins. You're ready to go."

Mario smiles and head to the door. "Wish me luck. I’ll make sure to bring home some food for you.”

"You got this, bro." Luigi says.

Later on at night, Mario and Peach arrived at the Italian restaurant at New Donk City. The restaurant was about two stories tall and the scenery was just so beautiful. The two lovebirds were seated by their Waiter in a table that's full of nice glittery utensils and plates with an appetizer of fresh cooked breadsticks. Mario stares in awe at the beautiful dress in her short pink dress with her haired tied up in a ponytail. Peach looks back and blushes when she sees Mario staring at her. The two of them have a nice conversation of what they’ve been up to lately. Mario talking about him and his brother meeting with Yoshi and Donkey Kong and Peacjv having dinner with Daisy at her Castle. Everything was going well and Mario feels more confident on proposing. Their food has arrived and the two of them begun eating. Mario eating his spaghetti and meatballs like there was no tomorrow and Peach enjoying her ravioli with a side of salad to balance out her meal. Once they were finished eating, their Waiter came and asked about dessert. Mario told the Waiter about their dessert and winks at him as a signal for the ring. The Waiter brought in a huge chocolate cake filled with strawberry ice cream inside and gives Mario the wedding ring. While Peach is eating, Mario walks up to her nervously and kneels on one leg, which surprises her.

“Mario… are you doing what I think you’re doing?” Peach surprisingly says.

"Peach, we've known each other for a long time. We talk, laugh, cry, play, and love each other and I want to spend the rest of my life being with you and hope you do the same. I'll do my best if you accept this ring, to love you and protect you for the rest of my life. Princess Peach… will you marry me?" Mario proposes showing his wedding ring.

Peach was speechless while the people around them stare at them with awe. Her body feels like it’s melting and she couldn’t be any happier as she is now. But… there was something holding her back. Something that’s holding her back from accepting the proposal. As much she wants to say yes, she just can’t.

“Mario… you’re the most amazing man I’ve ever met. As much as I want to accept your proposal… I can’t.” Peach sadly says.

Mario looks at Peach with a shocked look and at the same time his heart broke into many little pieces. “What? Did I do something wrong to make you feel that way?”

Peach eyes begun to tear up. Her cheeks covered with tears falling down and it wouldn’t stop. “It’s not you, Mario… It’s me. I’m sorry, but I can’t marry you.” She runs out of the Italian Restaurant, leaving him completely sad and alone.

Mario looks at his wedding ring and puts it in his pocket not knowing why his expectations just changed in just a few seconds. After everything they’ve done together, this is what he deserves?
"Princess Peach…”

…

Mario’s story finally comes to an end. Link and Pit stood quiet and shocked from the ending and couldn’t believe what they heard.

"And that's the end of my story. I haven't talked to Peach since then." Mario lets out a sad sigh.

Pit cried his eyes out and couldn’t stop. "What a sad story! I'm so sorry for forcing you to tell us.”

Mario smiles sightly and pats Pit on the back. "It's ok… I'm actually glad to tell you so I can let out my feelings than just actually hiding it. I… feel kind of better now.”

Pit wipes his tears off his eyes and sees Link with some tears in his eyes. "Are you crying too? I thought you already knew about it?"

"Yeah, but not the full story.” Link says wiping away his tears.

Suddenly, Link and Pit approach Mario with a big hug with some tears coming out of them still. Mario’s body feels the nice warmth coming from his friends, telling him that everything is going to be ok. So he smiles, hugs back, and cries too because of the good friends he has.

"Thanks guys… I needed this." Mario let’s go of them.

"This story made me craving for some unhealthy snacks. Let's go to the super market at Smash Town and buy some chips, cookies, and candy." Pit suggests.

"And we can go back here and play some videogames." Link suggests.

Mario smiles and nods in agreement. "Yeah sounds good. Let's a go.”

So the three Smashers head out and on their way to Smash Town.

In Peach's point of view, she told her story of what happened, Zelda cried really hard and even Samus had some tears falling out of her eyes.

"I'm so sorry to hear that!" Zelda cried.

"It was a lot sadder that you told the story than Mario actually telling us why without a explanation." Samus wipes her tears away.

"Yeah… Thanks for listening to me." Peach smiles slightly.

"Are you going to tell Mario why you left?" Zelda asks.

"He deserves to know why you just ran off. Or else he’ll think it’s his fault.” Samus says.

"That's the best I can do now. Since I can't feel the same love for Mario, I at least have to tell him why I left him…" Peach wipes away some tears from her eyes.

“Whatever happens, prepare for the worst.” Samus places her hand on Peach’s shoulder.

“And we’ll be here for you!” Zelda happily says.

Peach smiles and hugs both of them. “Thank you, both of you. When the time comes, I’ll tell Mario everything.”

Super Smash Bros Adventures chapter 11

It was a nice sunny and breezy day. Mario sits down on one of the benches in front of the Smash Mansion and enjoy the nice breeze going through his face.

"The breeze is so nice today. I can just sit here for the rest of the day with this kind of weather." Mario says.

As Mario continues enjoying his time, he hears someone calling for him.

"Hey Mario."

Mario looks back and sees Lyn coming out of the door. "Oh, Lyn. I thought I was the only Smasher here since everyone else is out going on a mission.”

"I decided today would be a training day. I learned some new things to get used to this whole Smashing Battles. What are you doing?" Lyn asks.

"Just enjoying this weather. It makes me feel so relaxed. The sun is bright and shining, and the wind blowing to my face feels amazing." Mario replies.

"Can I sit with you?" Lyn asks.

"Of course!" Mario replies.

Mario scoot over and Lyn sits down. The wind blew to their face and made Lyn remember something.

"This wind and weather reminds me of the place that I grew up in." Lyn says.

"Oh yeah?" Mario looks at her.

"In my world, I lived in the Plains." Lyn says.

"In the Plains?" Mario surprisingly says.

"That's right! I was even called a nomad because of all the traveling we do." Lyn explains.

"You don't look like you're someone from the Plains. At first I thought you look like you're a Princess when we met.” Mario says.

Lyn smiles. "Stop, you're making me blush. Well, my mother was actually a Noble, but my father was born in the Plains. She decided to live in the Plains and be free, then staying in the castle and be royalty. I actually enjoy that myself."

"Interesting. What do you do for housing and food? And," Mario asks.

"I live in tents called yurts. Since it's in the Plains, I look for my own food, water, and shelter. Not that hard if you have the right skills." Lyn replies.

"Wow, that sounds really nice. It's like camping everyday." Mario says.

"You're right it is. And the best thing is lying down on the grass. It's so soft that you don't need pillow or a bed to lay down on." Lyn says.

"That sounds really nice. You should take me there with once the Smash Portals are ready." Mario says.

"You know I will! It'll be really nice for you to come to my world and experience what it's like to be in the Plains." Lyn says.

Mario smiles. "I'll make us some food for a picnic too when we go."

"You know how to cook?" Lyn surprisingly asks.

"Yep. Well… I know how to cook spaghetti and some other dishes. I'm not the best at cooking, but I can definitely cook one of the best spaghetti you'll ever tasted." Mario says.

"Spaghetti? What is that? I never heard of a dish like that." Lyn says

Mario's eyes popped out? "Never?! Lyn, you're really missing out. Spaghetti is the best Italian dish to eat next to lasagna and ravioli."

"These are funny food names. Food must be really tasty if you're really calling it the best." Lyn says.

"It is. By the time we go to our picnic, I'll make one of the best spaghetti dishes you'll ever tasted." Mario says.

Lyn smiles. "I'll be looking forward to it then."

Mario smiles and continues enjoying the nice weather with company.

The two Smashers decided to head back inside after enjoying their time outside and Sakurai approaches them.

"Excuse me, Mario, Lyn, I have a favor to ask you two." Sakurai says.

"Sure, Sakurai. What you like us to do?" Mario asks.

"I'm really busy in contacting some of the newcomers and would like both of you to get some groceries for the Smash Mansion please." Sakurai brings out a list of groceries.

"We can do the shopping, Sakurai. Just leave it to us." Lyn happily says.

"Thank you, you two. I'll reward you something in the future. I'll set a Smash Portal to Smash City." Sakurai says, returning to his office.

“Looks like we have something to do at least.” Mario says.

“Better than staying here and waiting by for everyone to come back.” Lyn says.

Mario and Lyn arrived at Smash Market with many people inside buying their own groceries. Mario grabs a cart and they head inside. Everywhere there are different kinds of products and sales that couldn’t be beat.

“So what's on the list?" Mario asks.

"Let's see here.” Lyn takes out the grocery list. “We need to buy ten boxes of cookie dough, ten boxes of cake mix, and twenty containers of ice cream."

"That’s a lot of sweets we’re getting.” Mario laughs.

"Princess Peach wants five boxes chocolate chip cookie dough, five boxes of sugar cookie dough, five boxes of chocolate cake mix, five boxes of birthday cake mix, and the ice cream we can choose." Lyn continues reading the list.

After hearing Peach's name, Mario felt broken inside. "Peach huh? Should’ve known that she was the one who made the list.”

"Princess Peach is such a nice person. One time she made me a cake with frosted strawberries and it was so delicious!" Lyn remembers.

"Yeah… that's true. Peach is one heck of a baker..." Mario looks down at the cart.

Lyn looks at Mario and sees him looking kind of depressed. "Are you ok, Mario?"

Mario changes his expression with a fake smile. "Oh yeah I'm ok."

"You looked like that when we spectated her match from a few weeks ago. Is something the matter?" Lyn asks.

"Nope, nothing is wrong. Everything is A ok! Let's a go get everything on the list. We shouldn't let Peach and the others wait long." Mario rushes to the baking isle.

Lyn felt like Mario’s hiding something and decided to let him go for now. "If you say so."

Mario and Lyn arrived baking isle and grab what they needed. Lyn grabs all the cookie dough and cake mix they need and went straight to the ice cream isle.

“Ok Lyn, choose one flavor and I’ll choose the next.” Mario says.

Lyn looks carefully on each ice cream flavor and grabs five buckets of Neapolitan ice cream. “Can’t have an ice cream banquet without the main flavors.”

“You’re right about that. I’ll go next.” Mario looks for the next flavor and got five containers of rocky road. “Rocky road, a good flavor for everyone.”

“So that’s makes two. Now let’s see here.” Lyn looks around and found a flavor that caught her interest. She brings five containers of fruit salad ice cream. “I never tried something like this before.”

“Me neither and it’s brand new. My turn.” Mario looks around and found another interesting flavor. He brings five containers banana s’mores ice cream. “Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are going to love this flavor.”

“I can see them now jumping around and even taking all of the ice cream themselves.” Lyn says.

“Just one more flavor and that should be it. Go ahead and choose the last flavor.” Mario says.

“How about we choose the last one together? That way it’ll be fair for the both of us.” Lyn suggests.

Mario smiles. “Alright then. Let’s see.”

Mario and Lyn look around every ice cream flavor they have and found one that caught their interest.

“What you think of Birthday Cake flavor?” Mario asks.

“That’s perfect! Especially for a celebration.” Lyn says.

Mario grabs five containers of birthday cake ice cream and puts them in the cart. “That’s everything. Oh! Let’s get some topping for the ice cream.”

“Great idea. That’ll make eating ice cream even more exciting.” Lyn says.

…

After a fun shopping day, the two Smashers returns back to the Smash Mansion. Mario and Lyn put all the cookie dough and cake mix together and put all the ice cream in the freezer.

"That takes care of that. I can’t wait until we get to eat all those delicious sweets.” Mario says.

“It’ll be nice to see who’s going to be the new fighters too.” Lyn says.

“Thanks for hanging out with me, Lyn.” Mario thanked.

"Why thank me?. It was really nice spending time with you. We got to know each other a bit more." Lyn happily says.

"We should do this kind of thing again if you want." Mario suggests.

"Of course we’ll do this again. I really like spending time with you, Mario." Lyn happily says.

While Mario and Lyn continue talking, they hear foot steps from afar and see Peach arriving at the kitchen. Mario and Peach stared at each other, making the scene too quiet and awkward.

"Hi Mario, Lyn." Peach greeted with a smile.

"Hello, Princess Peach. We got everything you need from the store." Lyn says.

"You did? Thank you for picking them up. I would’ve done it after finishing a mission, but you two really helped save me a lot of time.” Peach says.

“Uhh… yeah.” Mario said awkwardly.

It was quiet again and Lyn noticed the situation. Mario was having trouble looking at Peach and couldn’t say a word. Peach was having the same problem, but she promised herself to tell him the reason why she didn’t accept his proposal in the first place.

“Mario… I need to talk to you about something.” Peach says.

Mario’s head started to sweat. He didn’t feel so good so he tried to figure out a way to leave. “Umm… can we save it for next time?”

“I thought it’ll be best to tell you now. Can you please give me just a few minutes of your time?” Peach asks kindly.

“Sorry… not right now. I… have to go see Link and Pit right now. We’ll talk next time.” Mario says.

“Oh… ok…” Peach sadly says.

“Lyn, I have to get going. Ok?” Mario says.

“Is something the matter? You look kind of… upset.” Lyn asks.

“Me? Upset? I’m just as good as ever! I’ll see you tomorrow.” Mario says.

Mario walks out of the kitchen while avoiding looking at Peach. It was hard, but he was able to get through it. Peach couldn’t help seeing Mario like that and was about to cry, but held it in so she wouldn’t worry Lyn.

“Are you ok, Princess Peach?” Lyn asks.

“Peach turns her head and smiles. “I’m good, Lyn.”

“If there’s something you need to talk about, I’m all ears.” Lyn says.

“Thank you, but everything is fine right now. How about I make you a cake for helping me with my grocery list.” Peach tries changing the subject.

Lyn wanted to push more and help Peach, but she decided to let it go. “That’ll be great.”

Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 12

Smashers are gathered inside the Auditorium for a special announcement coming from Sakurai. Everyone is excited to hear that newcomers will be coming to the Smash Mansion and making predictions on who will be coming.

"This is so exciting!" Pit cheered, overwhelmed with joy.

"Yeah, I can’t wait to see who’ll be here." Link agreed.

“Who do you think it’ll be?" Mario asks.

"Hmm… I think It'll be cool to see Pittoo here." Pit says.

Link looks at Pit with a confused face. "Who's Pittoo?"

"Pittoo is basically a clone of me, but in black clothing and black hair. But, his real name is Dark Pit." Pit explained.

"How are there two of you?" Mario wonders.

"Well, it all happened while I was fighting some giant Fireball lady named Pandora. She brought out a mirror called, the Mirror of Truth, and I tried destroying it. Before I destroyed it with a super cool Flying Kick, Dark Pit was made. And that's how Pittoo was born." Pit explained.

"So basically, he's an evil version of you?" Link asks.

"Yeah, but he's not that evil. He has some good in him because of what I've done for him to save him." Pit replies.

"If he does come in, he's going to be a clone character." Mario says.

"Even so, I'll be happy to see him. Who do you guys want to see?" Pit asks.

"Haven't thought of it to be honest. Maybe another character from my univese. It'll be funny if a Piranha Plant joins us." Mario smirks.

"I highly doubt that. For me, I'll be fine any newcomer that nobody expects to come." Link says.

"That's good too. Maybe someone unexpected like Banjo and Kazooie will one day join us." Mario says.

"Someone that no one expects. Sakurai must use his magic to give that character a moveset. I mean we have Wii Fit Trainer, R.O.B, and Mr. Game and Watch for crying out loud! Sakurai is a god!” Pit says.

As all the Smashers arrived, the lights turned off and Sakurai went up to the stage.

"Welcome everyone to the second Newcomer Ceremony. For this ceremony, there won't be as many newcomers as last time, but these aren't the last of the newcomers. There are still plenty more newcomers coming so please be patient. We also have some veterans coming back to the fray. Now please give a warm welcome to new and returning Smashers." Sakurai announces.

The curtains rise up and the newcomers are:
Dark Pit from Kid Icarus, Bowser Jr. and the rest of the Koopalings from Super Mario, Lucas from Earthbound, Mewtwo from Pokémon, Roy from Fire Emblem, and Duck Hunt Dog and Bird from Duck Hunt. The Smashers cheer loudly for the new and returning Smashers.

"That's all for today. We'll be having baked goods ready in a few hours so please show your love and attention to the returning and new Smashers." Sakurai ends the Newcomers Ceremony.

The Smashers all gather around in the hall greeting and meeting the newcomers and veterans.

"Pittoo!" Pit happily greeted, giving him a big hug. “I'm so happy that you're here! I just talked about you to Mario and Link that you might be a possible new Smasher. And I was right!"

Dark Pit was getting really irritated and try pushing Pit away, but couldn't. "Can you let go of me? You're already annoying me when I just arrived."

"Aww, don't be like that when you've been invited to the biggest crossover fighting tournament." Palutena happily says and joining the two for a group hug.

"Not you too." Dark Pit angrily says.

"Pit's not kidding, he looks exactly like him." Mario says.

"But Dark Pit has a different attitude than the other Pit." Link pointed out.

"Look at them reunited together like that. It makes me so happy." Luigi cried tears of joy.

“Don’t get too emotional.” Mario says.

Bowser Jr. and the rest of the Koopalings all happily run to Bowser. "Dad!”

Bowser with a big smile on his face greets all of them with a big hug. "My children! I'm so happy to see you all here!"

"We miss you too, Dad." Bowser Jr. says.

Ganondorf and King Dedede look at Bowser with his kids.

"Didn't expect Bowser be all happy like that." Ganondorf says.

"He doesn't look like a villain with his children around." King Dedede says.

"He's always like that in our world. Everytime we see them, he’s usually taking them out for some ice cream or something." Waluigi says.

"When he's with his children, his daddy side is out." Wario says.

“This may take time to get use to.” Ganondorf says.

“Hope you like seeing them running around a lot.” Waluigi says.

Ness runs to Lucas and gives him a big hug. "Lucas, you're back! I thought I wasn't going to see you in this tournament."

Lucas cries tears of joy and hugs back. "I'm happy to be here with you and the rest of Smashers. There are a lot of new faces here... Its kind of making me nervous..."

"My, another cute kid here." Rosalina appears, with some Lumas surrounding him.

Lucas got scared and hides behind Ness. "What are these creatures? And who's this tall lady that looks like Princess Peach?"

"My name is Rosalina and these are my children, Lumas. They're really friendly if you get to know them." Rosalina happily greeted.

"Come on Lucas, touch them." Ness says, bringing Lucas's hand to a yellow Luma.

Lucas touches the Luma and it made a happy noise. "So soft."

Rosalina goes up to Lucas. "Ness here told me about what happened to your mother and brother. If you need someone that can act like your mother, I'm right here. No need to hold your tears anymore."

Lucas can't help but cry and hug Rosalina tightly. The Smashers around felt their heart skip a beat when seeing Rosalina's mother instinct.

Mewtwo was greeted by the other Pokémon. "Hello, fellow Pokémon. I didn’t think I would be here again.”

"It's been a while, Mewtwo." Pikachu happily greeted, jumping onto his shoulder.

"We haven't seen you since Melee." Jigglypuff says.

"It has been a long time since that tournament. I see we have some new Pokémon that joined this tournament as well." Mewtwo looks at Charizard, Lucario, and Greninja.

"There were two more Pokemon that were in the Super Smash Bros tournament last tournament, but they didn't make it." Charizard sadly says.

"You're the legendary psychic type, Mewtwo. We must battle each other." Lucario says.

"Us too. I always wanted to fight a legendary Pokémon in this tournament." Greninja says.

Mewtwo nods in agreement. "Of course. Just to warn you, I won't be holding back."

"Don't do that or else it won't be a fun battle." Charizard smirks.

Roy was greeted by all of the Fire Emblem Smashers. "Long time no see, Prince Marth."
Marth smiles and gives him a handshake.

"It's good to have you back, Roy. And please, just Marth is fine.”

Lyn looks at Roy surprisingly and sees a complete copy of her friend from her world. "You must be Eliwood's son? You look a lot like him."

"That's right! You must be Lady Lyndis. My father told me a lot about how you and Lord Hector were always working together. I must thank you for fighting alongside with them." Roy gives his gratitude.

Lyn smiles. "I'm glad your father still remembers me. And like what Marth said, no need to be so formal."

Roy looks at Ike, Robin, and Lucina. "You three must be from different timelines in our world."

"My name's Ike, the Radiant Hero." Ike introduces himself.

"My name is Robin, a Tactician." Robin introduces himself.

"And my name is Lucina. I’m some kind of time traveling princess you can say. It's nice to meet you, Roy." Lucina introduces herself.

Roy smiles. "New warriors from different timelines. This is amazing. I hope we all get along well in this new tournament."

Duck Hunt Dog and Duck was getting petted by some Smashers.

"It's weird to see a Dog and a Duck combined into one character." Fox says, petting Duck hunt Dog on the head.

"At least there are more animal characters in this tournament." Falco says, petting the Duck Hunt Duck on the head.

"I wonder how they're going to fight in this tournament? This is going to be really interesting." Shulk says.

"You'll know soon enough." Duck Hunt Dog lets out a laugh.

"We're full of surprises." Duck Hunt Duck says.

"Are you two always this close?" Fox asks.

"Well... not really." Duck Hunt Dog replies.

"It's kind of a long story, but we weren't really friends in the beginning." Duck Hunt Duck explained.

"After sometime, we got use to each other and decided to be friends." Duck Hunt Dog says.

Sakurai smiles at all the Veterans meeting up with the Newcomers. He then remembers something important and walks up to Mario. "Mario, I need you to go help Princess Peach baking."

Mrio looked uneasy hearing her name. "Umm… can't someone else do it for her? I'm not ready to speak to her yet."

"Sorry, but Princess Peach wants you to help her. I did ask if someone like Zelda can help, but she wants you since you haven't talked for a while." Sakurai noticed Mario still doesn’t feel like he’s read and places his hand on his shoulder. "Listen Mario, I think it's time for you to talk to her. It maybe hard for you, but you have to move on sooner or later. Just do your best and try to accept what happened."

Mario looks up to Sakurai and nods, but still feeling a bit nervous. "All right, I'll go help."

…

Mario is in front of the doors of the kitchen. He looks through the window and sees Peach putting on her apron, tying up her hair, and getting the things she needs to bake and all of the cookie and cake mix. His face blushed a little seeing Peach in a ponytail, but then remembers not to think of her like that. He took some took some deep breaths and went in.

"Heya, Peach… Sakurai told me that you want me to help you bake." Mario greeted with a short smile.

Peach smiles and gives Mario an apron. "Thanks for coming! Let's start baking or else the Smashers will get really hungry. We don't want them to wait too long."

Mario puts on his apron and is ready to go. "All right, let's get this over it."

Mario gets a baking tray, shapes the cookie dough into small balls, places them onto the tray and puts them in the oven. Peach mixes the cake mix with water, oil, and eggs in a large bowl, beat the batter for a couple of minutes, pour it in a pan, and puts it in the oven. Both Smashers stayed quiet since they have nothing to say and feel kind of awkward since the incident. They took some small glances but looked away not knowing what to do. The timer went out and the two Smashers bring out whatever they're baking out of the oven. Mario counts the cookies to make sure that there's enough for all the Smashers and workers, while Peach is decorating the cakes with her special frosting skills. After counting all the cookies, Mario watches Peach decorating the cakes with frosting and sprinkles and smiles when she hears her beautiful humming. It reminded him the times when they do things like taking a walk around the garden or helping out Toads in the Castle. After some time, everything was complete.

"We're done!" Peach happily says, taking off her apron and untying her hair.

"Yep finally." Mario wipes off the sweat on his forehead.

Peach smiles. "It was a lot of fun baking with you again, Mario."

Mario smiles back. "Yeah, it was fun baking with you again too, Peach."

Mario and Peach takes the cookies, cakes, and
the ice cream out to the ballroom.

"Thanks again with helping. It really helped having you around." Peach happily thanked.

"Not a problem. I'll be opening the doors for the Smashers now." Mario says.

"Wait. Before you do… I just want to apologize from what happened a couple of months ago." Peach apologizes.

"Oh that… it's ok." Mario says, heading to the doors.

"No it's not ok! We've been together for so long and I just ran off like that without telling you why I did that. I have something really important to confess to you." Peach says.

Mario stops and walks back to her. "Well… what is it that you need to tell me?”

Peach took a deep breath and looks at Mario with a serious look. "I'm getting married to a Prince from my childhood."

Mario's heart crashed when he heard the word, "married". His eyes were about to burst, but decided to hold it until later on. "Married? To a Prince from your childhood?”

"Yes… But it's not what you think.” Peach does her best to tell him while holding back the tears. “Mario, these past years we known each other were the best years of my life. You saved me from Bowser many times, we had so much fun doing things like dancing, playing sports, party games, and all those kind of fun things. And… I want to continue growing many more memories with you.
I told my parents everything about you when they visited the Mushroom Kingdom. About how kind, fun, and heroic you are, and all the things you did to help me and my Kingdom. But, they don't accept it since you're not royalty. It shocked me and I tried convincing them, but they still said no and the only person I can marry is the Prince from my childhood."

Mario couldn't believe it and looks down with his heart even more broken. "So… you didn’t accept my proposal because of an arranged marriage. And I can't marry you because I'm not royalty? I… I thought you didn't love me..."

"No Mario, my feelings for you were the real thing. You were the man I've truly fallen in love for since we first met… And I loved you with all my heart. Im… I'm sorry I couldn't tell you sooner.” Peach apologizes, trying to stay strong.

Mario tightens his hands and lets them go. A part of him wish he can talk to her parents, but it wouldn’t change a thing. If he was born royalty, he would’ve been with her for the rest of their lives. There’s no other way, but to accept the harsh reality. "It's ok… now I know why you left without giving me an explanation on why you didn't accept my proposal. It finally made sense. Thanks for telling me…”

Peach watches Mario turn around and head to the exit. “Wait Mario, aren’t you hungry? Everybody is going to be here soon.”

"Sorry… I lost my appetite." Mario said.

Mario opens the door and all the Smashers are already waiting outside. He didn’t make contact and just avoided all of them, even the ones who are calling out to him. Tears falls from Peach's eyes and she wipes them away quickly before anyone saw. She puts out a smile to the Smashers coming in so they don't want to worry about her and serve the deserts. Mario arrived in his room and jumps on top of his bed. He looks at the ceiling and a lot of tears fall on his face. It was going to be a long night.

Super Smash Bros Adventures chapter 13

"I'm getting married to a Prince from my childhood."

"I loved you with all my heart. Im… I'm sorry I couldn't tell you sooner.”

These words have been stuck in Mario's head since the time Peach told him on why she didn’t accept his proposal. He's been stuck in his room
for a week now and didn’t see any Smashers, except for Link and Pit who live in the same room. Mario is watching a romance movie on television about a man confessing to the woman she loves, but she told him that she's already marrying someone else. It’s like it’s telling him something deep.

"Just like me." Mario takes a bite on his hamburger.

While watching, Link and Pit went into the room with their monthly Smash Coins they received from all the battles they won.

"Hey Mario, feeling any better?" Link asks.

"Same as ever." Mario taking another bite on his burger.

"We got your Smash Coins that you earned from all the battles you did." Pit places it on the table.

"Thanks Pit. Sorry that I didn't get to hangout with you this whole week." Mario apologizes.

"It's all right… would it be ok if you tell us what happened last week?" Link asks.

"Yeah! Another story time will be cool." Pit says, as Link slaps the back of his head.

Mario didn’t feel like feeling them, has to if he wants to feel better soon. He turns off the T.V. and the two Smashers sits next to him.
“So what she told me was this.”

Mario explained everything about why she didn’t accept his proposal. About Peach marrying her childhood friend, how she can’t marry him due to not being royalty, and how she still loves him and wished that her parents can reconsider. The two Smashers were shocked.

"I'm really sorry to hear that." Link apologizes.

"That's not fair! If I were Princess Peach, I would tell them that it's my decision to decide!" Pit exclaims.

"Yeah… that's how everything went. Now that I learned the truth, I don't feel like talking to her anymore. If I do, it'll just hurt me even more.” Mario says.

“Mario… You can’t just do that.” Link says.

“What about all the memories you made together?” Pit says.

“Not sure. If I keep remembering these feelings… it’ll just hurt me even more. I think k now’s the time for me to get out and take a walk. I need to rethink some things.” Mario says.

Mario leaves the room with a sad look on his face, leaving the two Smashers.

"Poor Mario… I wish there's something we can do to help." Pit says.

"The only thing we can do is wait." Link says.

...

Alone and in thought, Mario walks to the Smash Park to clear his head. When he arrived there, there were no Smashers there surprisingly. Usually there'll be Smashers like Ness, Lucas, Toon Link, Villager, or the Pokemon playing around, or Little Mac and Wii Fit Trainer jogging around. It was good for him since he needed some lone time. Mario decided to sit on the swings. He looks down and keeps thinking of the same words from Peach and never stopped.

"It wasn't meant to be" Mario sighs in disbelief.

"Mario?"

Mario looks at where the voice came from and sees Lyn. "Oh… heya Lyn."

"I haven't seen you for a week. Where have you been?" Lyn sits on a swing next to him.

"I… had problems so I stayed in my room since I needed lone time." Mario answered.

"That explains why you left the ballroom when all the Smashers were just arriving. I thought you were coming back, so I saved you a seat next to me." Lyn says.

"Oh… thanks for doing that and sorry for not being there." Mario says

"Do you want to tell me about it? Talking will make you feel better." Lyn suggests.

The same thing is happening again. Why does Mario have to struggle telling the same story over and over again? Is this really going to help him at all?

"All right then." Mario says.

Mario tells everything to Lyn. How everything started, how everything ended, and the reason why Mario didn't come out of his room for a full week. Lyn was heart broken after hearing Mario's story and was surprised that someone like him would experience like that.

"And that's how everything went." Mario ending his story.

"Mario… I had no idea what you’ve been through. I'm… really sorry to hear that. Someone like you doesn't deserve that at all. I wish that Princess Peach's parents know more about you. You not being a noble doesn't mean you don't have the right to not marry a noble. My father married my mother who’s a noble and they were happy with each other.” Lyn says.

"That’s good to hear. But… I don't know what to do anymore. Should I talk to her again or just ignore her? If I do... will it help me at all or will it make things worse? I’ve been with her for so long and it ended like this? I feel like… it's best just to stop being in contact with her." Mario sadly says.

Lyn watches Mario as he starts crying, which is the first time she sees him like this. She understands how he feels since she also experienced this kind of problem in her past. As much she wants to tell him, it's best that she saves it for another time and tell him what she thinks is the best thing to do. "Mario, you shouldn't ignore Princess Peach. You may not be able to marry or love her the same way as before, but you can always be friends. If you don't talk to her, you're going to hurt yourself even more. You'll lose someone who's really dear to you and she'll lose someone that's dear to her. If I were you, I would apologize and continue being friends with her. I know it maybe hard just being friends, but it's better than not doing anything at all.
Princess Peach is a really important person to you, and you shouldn’t just give her up. She’ll always love you no matter what.”

After listening to Lyn's words, Mario starts feeling better. It’s like a heavy wound is relieving inside his heart. Mario stood up from his swing and smiles at Lyn.

"Thanks, Lyn. What you said to me really helped me out. I'll go find Peach and talk to her." Mario says.

Lyn smiles and gets off of her swing. "I'm glad that I can help. Princess Peach is at the cafeteria the last time I saw her."

"Thanks again. I'll tell you how things go when I'm finished." Mario says.

"I'm coming with you. I want to see this for myself." Lyn says.

...

Mario and Lyn arrived at the Smash Cafeteria and see only Peach by herself, playing with her food.

"There she is. Go ahead and talk to her." Lyn says.

Mario stares from a distance and sees tears falling down from her face, realizing that she also felt the same as him. Slowly he’s regaining the feeling to not see her would be the better choice. "I... I can't do it. What if she thinks that she doesn't want to be friends? Maybe I should just leave her alone."

Lyn gets irritated. "Mario, remember that's not the best idea. You're just running away from your problems and it’ll get worse if you leave her. Take some deep breaths and apologize. You can do this."

Mario takes some deep breaths like he was told and walks to Peach's table. "Hello... Peach... How are you doing?

Peach turns surprised seeing Mario after a whole week. She wipes out her tears and lets out a forced smile. "I'm... I'm doing just fine... Do... you want something to eat?"

"I'm a ok…" Mario replied quickly.

A short awkward silence was made between the two. Mario looks back and sees Lyn making hand movements for him to keep going.

"Listen, Peach… I'm a sorry for leaving you like that last week. It was wrong of me for not accepting what you told me. For the past week, I've been thinking of what you said and it hurt me so much. I don't want to lose you because even though we can't marry or love each other like before, I still want you part of my life. I don't want to forget everything we done together for the past years as a waste. I want to continue our relationship so we can continue doing all the fun and exciting things as friends. That's what I feel right now. Will you accept my apology?

Peach stares at Mario with awe and tears of joy falls from her eyes. "Mario… I'm really happy to hear that from you. I really thought this would be the end of our relationship. You’re a really special person to me, and I don’t want to lose you. We made many wonderful memories, and I want to continue doing so. I also want to apologize that we can't be together as a couple, but I really do want to be friends with you. So yes, I accept your apology.”

Mario smiles brightly and the two of them continue their conversation. The pain inside disappeared and everything is back to normal.

Lyn smiles and leaves the two of them so she won't disturb them. “I’m happy for you, Mario.”

After a long conversation, Mario arrives back at his room and sees Link and Pit playing videogames on the Nintendo Switch. The two Smashers look at Mario's face and sees a big smile.

"Did everything work out?" Link asks.

"Yep! Peach and I are friends now. Even though that I still have this feeling to love her, I'm ok with just being her friend." Mario happily says.

Pit drops his controller and gives Mario a big hug. "Thank goodness! I thought it'll be the end of between you and Princess Peach!"

"Pit, let go of him. Come on Mario, let's play." Link gives him a controller.

Mario sits down on the couch with the two Smashers and plays some videogames with them.

Super Smash Bros Adventures chapter 14

The sweet scent of delicious cookies coming out of the oven and flowing through the air.
Mario, Link, Pit, Charizard, Little Mac, and Robin are in the kitchen, watching Peach, Zelda, and Rosalina baking some cookies together. The scent passes through Mario and the rest, their noses take a quick sniff, and their mouths are drooling from the sweet scent of the chocolate chip cookies.

Peach places the plate of cookies on the table and smiles. "Here are the cookies. Enjoy!"

Mario and the rest grabs some cookies and quickly shoved it into their mouths.
"So delicious..."

Peach giggles, watching them enjoying the cookies. "Eat as much as you want. Zelda and Rosalina's are about done."

Mario takes a bite on his second cookie. "Peach's cookies never fails to amaze me."

Link finishes up his third cookie. "None of the chefs from my world can make cookies like these."

"Doc will be jealous that I get to eat these cookies without him. He would love these." Little Mac compliments.

"I hope one day Lucina will learn how to bake cookies like this. That would make me love her even more." Robin daydreams of Lucina in an apron.

"I'll have to stop eating a lot of these soon or else I won't be able to fly anymore." Charizard says.

"This would be good with some milk." Pit says.

"Here you go, Pit." Zelda gives Pit a glass of cold milk and placing a plate of sprinkle cookies.

"Oh, thank you, Princess Zelda." Pit thanked and drinks his milk.

Zelda smiles. "If you need anything else, just ask."

Pit watches Zelda walk back into the kitchen to continue baking more cookies for the other Smashers. "That's really nice of her."

"So Mario, I heard that everything's good between you and Peach now." Robin says.

"Yeah we're good now. We both apologized to each other and decided that it's best that we continue being friends. Isn't that right, Peach?" Mario asks.

Peach smiles. "Of course!"

"That's good to hear." Charizard says.

"If there's anything stressing you out again, come see me and I can help you spar with the Punching Bag." Little Mac says.

"Thanks for the offer, but I'm sure I'll be fine." Mario says.

"So what are you going to do next?" Link asks.

Mario looked confused. "What do you mean?"

"He means are you going to continue looking for a special someone?" Pit says.

"Oh that? Well... I'm fine as I am right now since I have you guys and the other Smashers there for me. So maybe I'll be patient and see what happens." Mario takes another cookie.

"Good answer. Being in a relationship takes time and you want it to be with the right person. That's how Lucina and I met. We took our time by starting as friends and as soon time goes by, our relationship grew so close that we want to be with each other for the rest of eternity." Robin says.

"You'll find someone one day. If you can catch yourself a Princess, then you have no problem finding someone like that." Little Mac says.

Mario giggles. "Thanks guys. It'll be nice to be single for a while. And the one who helped me getting over this problem was Lyn. She's the one that told me what's best and gave me a good push to talk to Peach. I should do something for her."

"Why not take her out to the Plains where she's from?" Peach suggested.

Mario turns surprised that she knew. "How did you know where she's from?"

"Lyn told me about it. She said that she’ll take you there one day.” Peach says.

"Don't tell me... You're already going out with someone else?!" Pit shockingly says.

"What?! No!" Mario answers loudly.

"Oh good. I thought it's too soon to being with another lady." Robin says.

"Not you too. She just promised me that she’ll take me to the Plains she’s from. We thought it's a good bonding activity for us." Mario says.

"That's sounds like a great idea!" Zelda happily says.

"You can get to know her better." Rosalina brought out another batch of cookies.

"Who knows, maybe something interesting can happen in the future between you two." Link winked.

"Don't get his hopes up " Little Mac says.

"Just have a good time and don't stress yourself." Charizard says.

"Thanks everyone. I should go and ask her." Mario says.

...

A few days later, Mario finished dressing up and head to the door.

"See you guys later. I’m heading out now." Mario waves bye to his roommates.

"Have fun." Link says.

"And bring us some leftovers." Pit says.

"I'll try.” Mario closes the door.

Mario walks to the living room while greeting Smashers on his way and finally sees Lyn already waiting with a huge picnic basket in hand.
"Hi Lyn. Did I keep you waiting?"

"Oh no, I just got here." Lyn noticed Mario not wearing his usual outfit and instead sees him wearing a red T Shirt, blue cargo shorts, and red tennis shoes. "You look different today."

"Well, I thought it'll be nice to wear something casual since we're going to have a picnic together." Mario explains. “Don’t you want to wear something more comfortable whenever you want to relax?”

"Hmm... Never really thought about it. I'm always comfortable with the same outfit I always wear and just incase for battle. I asked Sakurai to prepare us a Smash Portal to my world so it should be ready soon.” Lyn turns her head and the Smash Portal appeared on cue. “Shall we get going?"

Mario smiles. "Lead the way."

In just a few minutes, they already arrived at their destination.

"Mario, welcome to the Plains that I was raised in, Sacaean Plains." Lyn introduces.

Mario looks around and only see a big field of grass with trees, plants, in a huge wide area. He jumps up really high and only sees even more grass from a long distance. "It's beautiful... The large mass of grass, the nice breeze of the wind blowing through my face, and everything feels nice and calm."

"Here lie down on the ground." Lyn says, as she lays her body and head down on the ground.
"Ahhh... it's so nice to be here again.

Mario follows Lyn's instructions and lies down with her. "Wow! You're right! This feels amazing! The grass is so soft that you don't need a pillow."

Lyn giggles. "I told you so. It's a really nice experience. I miss this kind of feeling.

"So how about the food you prepared?” Mario says.

"Oh right." Lyn opens up her picnic basket and prepares some dishes, cups,utensils, and the food she brought. "I may not be good of a cook like Peach, but I do hope you like the food.”

Mario takes a sandwich that has a red filling between the bread and takes a bite. Suddenly, his eyes popped wide open and he quickly devour the sandwich in just a few seconds.
"This is delicious!"

Lyn was really surprised from Mario's reaction and takes a bite herself.
"Really? I’m happy that you like it.”

"Did you really make this yourself?" Mario asks, grabbing another sandwich.

"That's right. What's inside the sandwiches are strawberry and blueberry jelly. I made the jelly myself by freshly squishing the fruits." Lyn finishing up her sandwich.

"That's amazing! I can't stop eating these sandwiches." Mario about to get his third sandwich.

Lyn smiles. "Enjoy as much as you like. There are plenty left. Have some of this raspberry juice I made. I also freshly squeezed the fruit."

Mario takes a sip of the juice and falls in love with it. "Tasty! You're a real natural in this."

"I'm glad you like the juice too." Lyn happily says.

After sometime, the two Smashers fill their stomachs. Mario lies down on his feeling satisfied.

"Ahh... that hits the spot." Mario burps loudly. "Oh... excuse me..."

Lyn giggles. "That must've mean you like it."

"Like it? I love it! Both the sandwiches and the juice. You should make them again for everyone else in the Smash Mansion. They'll love it." Mario suggests.

"Maybe I should. First I'll need to improve more to make them even better." Lyn says.

"Ask Peach to help you. She can definitely help." Mario says.

"Maybe I should. I'll ask her for tips next time." Lyn lies her head down on the grass.

"Just wondering, do you have any family that lives here in the Plains? Maybe like a Mom, Dad, or Grandfather?” Mario asks.

"I do... but not anymore..." Lyn sadly answers.

Mario looks at Lyn, whose face looked like it’s about to tear up. “Oh no! Umm... How about we stop talking about your family?"

"No worries. You're a good person so I'll tell you what happened." Lyn starts telling her story. "When I was younger, I lived here with my Mother and Father, and a tribe called, the Saceans. We were having such a nice life traveling around, gathering everything for camp, and just enjoying everybody's company. It was nice and quiet until a group of Bandits called, the Tailver Bandits came and ruined everything. They poisoned our water supply and slaughter every member of the tribe."

Mario was shocked hearing Lyn's backstory. He couldn't believe something like that happened to her. "Then… how did you survive?"

"My father… he forced me to get on a horse and escape. That was the last time I've seen my family. Then later on, I was escorted by some good Knight who are also good friends to take me to meet my grandfather and learned that I was a Noble since my mother was born royalty. Then sometime later, my grandfather died, making me the only one alive of the Sacean tribe." Lyn sadly explained.

Mario looks down on the ground from hearing all the terrible things that happened to her family and everyone that cared for her and sees a lot of tears falling down of Lyn's cheeks. "I'm... I'm really sorry to hear that. I wish that I didn't bring up about your family."

"It's not your fault. It was really unfortunate how things went, but things got better when I met up with many different people. Without them, I would be nothing. And thankfully I met you and the other Smashers. Even though it's really hard for me to not having a family alive anymore, I at least have friends that care a lot about me." Lyn says.

Mario smiles and gives Lyn a tissue. "You're right. Even though your family and tribe are gone, you always have us. We'll always be here for you."

Lyn smiles and wipes away her tears with the tissue. "I'm glad that I get to talk to you about this. Hopefully one day I get to meet one of my friends.

“Lady Lyndis!”

Mario looked up at the sky."Huh? What is that?

Lyn looks up and carefully. "It's a Pegasus."

The Pegasus flying around the sky soars down to where Mario and Lyn are and safely lands around them. On top is a woman with long purple hair, wearing a white dress with blue armor. Lyn couldn't believe her eyes as she sees an old friend of hers in front of her.

"Florina!" Lyn happily greeted.

Florina looks at Lyn, with tears of joy coming out of her eyes. "Lady Lyndis!" She runs to her and gives her a huge hug. "Lady Lyndis, it's been too long! I miss you so much!"

Lyn smiles and hugs Florina really tightly. "I miss you too. You grew a little taller than last time we met. And you look prettier.”

"Oh really? Thank you for your kind words, Lady Lyndis." Florina happily says.

"Call me Lyn. We're friends remember?" Lyn reminded.

"Sorry… I’ll make sure I do that." Florina apologizes.

"You look good yourself, Huey." Lyn pet: the Pegasus.

Mario gets up on his feet to introduce himself. "You must be one of Lyn's friends."

Florina looks at Mario and quickly hides behind Lyn. "W... who's that? I never seen him before."

"That's Mario. He's the first person that I met in the fighting tournament I'm in." Lyn introduces.

"Nice to meet you." Mario offered his hand for a handshake.

Florina slowly reaches for Mario's hand, then hides behind Lyn again. "So scary... I've never seen someone with such a big nose before..."

"Scary?!" Mario’s voice got louder.

"Ahhhh!" Florina cried.

Lyn looks at Mario angrily and Punches his arm. "Don't yell at her!”

"Oww... I was just playing... Man, you really know how to throw a Punch." Mario rubs his arm.

"Sorry about that. Mario really is a nice person. Go ahead and shake his hand." Lyn says.

Florina tries again and shakes Mario's hand.
"N…Nice to meet you. My name's Florina, Lyn’s best friend."

Mario smiles. "It's nice to meet you.

Lyn then remembers something. "I almost forgot. Congratulations on your marriage with Hector."

Florina turned to Lyn with a big smile. "Thank you! I was really nervous that I fainted and he has to propose to me again when I woke up. It was so embarrassing." Her face begun to blush.

"You two are made for each other. Hector maybe reckless, but he really cares a lot about you." Lyn says.

"He really does. Lord Hector always watches over me and we're always together wherever we go." Florina says.

"Good. If Hector is treating you badly, let me know and I'll teach him a lesson about manners." Lyn says.

Florina giggles. "Thank you, Lyn.” Suddenly, her stomach starts growling. “Uhh…”

"You must be hungry. Have some sandwiches and a cup of juice that Lyn made. It's really good." Mario offered her to sit down.

"Really? Then I must try some." Florina says.

"Don't hold back. I have plenty of sandwiches left. You can have some too, Huey." Lyn says.

Mario and Lyn prepares some sandwiches for Florina and Huey and have a nice conversation about everything that happened to them.

Super Smash Bros Adventures chapter 15

Mario and Wii Fit Trainer arrived back at the Smash Mansion after doing a mission, at Ness's world.

"Thanks for helping me out, Mario. Today's mission gave us a good workout." Wii Fit Trainer stretches her arms.

"No problem. It was fun doing that mission with you." Mario says.

"How about you and I go for a jog around the Smash Park? It's a nice day to go for one."Wii Fit Trainer suggests.

"Sounds good. Let's a go!" Mario says.

As they're about to jog, Little Mac arrived back from his mission, looking really tired that he was sweating a lot. "Never again..."

"Hey Little Mac, how's your mission?" Wii Fit Trainer asks.

"You look really tired from your mission. Did something happen?" Mario asks.

"It was Terrible! I had to take out all of these Bubbles who were terrorizing some fairies in a fountain near the Forest Temple!" Little Mac rants.

"Bubbles?" Mario asks.

"They're fire phantom airborne enemies. I don't even know what they'd want around a fairy mountain. The only way I can fight them is using my air attacks. I can throw a good Punch on the ground, but not in the air." Little Mac says.

"Well, you know what they say, Boxers aren't air fighters." Wii Fit Trainer points out.

"That's what Doc told me. Boxers always fight on the ground, not the air." Little Mac grumbles, crossing his arms.

"Who is this Doc person? When we go on jogs together, you always mention about him." Wii Fit Trainer asks.

"Doc’s my Boxing Instructor. He helped me became Boxing’s World Champion in my world. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have gotten that far." Little Mac remembers his training routines.

"He sounds like a great man. I should meet up with him and maybe he can give me some tips of being an instructor." Wii Fit Trainer says.

"I want to see you sparing in a Boxing match again one day." Mario remembering the old days as a Referee.

"You watched him fight before, Mario?" Wii Fit Trainer asks.

"Surprisingly, he was a Referee before. He's really good at it." Little Mac complimented.

"Wow, you have so done so many things." Wii Fit Trainer surprisingly says.

"If you guys like, I actually have a Boxing Match next week. Doc sent me a letter earlier today that if I want to come and defend my title. Would you two like to come?" Little Mac asks.

"Sounds exciting! I would like to watch." Wii Fit Trainer happily replies.

"It'll be like the old days seeing you in the ring." Mario says, can’t contain his excitement.

"Then it’s settled. I’ll need to do some heavy training. Wii Fit Trainer, would you like to help me get ready for next week? Some cardio exercise will help a lot." Little Mac asks.

Wii Fit Trainer smiles. "Of course! They don't call me Wii Fit Trainer for nothing. We'll start after our jog around Smash Park."

"Let me change and we can start." Mario leaves to his room.

"While we're waiting, let's begin with some stretches." Wii Fit Trainer says.

"Yes Mam!" Little Mac says, as the two begin to stretch.

…

One week has passed and it’s finally the day of the Main Event.

Little Mac is waiting in front of the Smash Mansion for Mario and Wii Fit Trainer. Since this was a title match, he can't afford to be late. "Come on, where are they? I can't be late for this... I'll lose my title as champion if I don't make it in time." He checks his watch and hears a voice from behind.

"I’m Sorry for keep you waiting, Little Mac."

"It's ok, we still have ti-" Little Mac stops talking and stares at Wii Fit Trainer with awe. She's dressed up in a blue cardigan with a white skit that’s slightly above her knees. "Wow... for a fitness trainer, you look like a model."

Wii Fit Trainer looks with a surprised look. “Did you say something?"

Little Mac stops staring and looks down trying to hide his red face. "Nope. Nothing at all. Got to learn how to keep my big mouth shut."

"There you two are."

Little Mac and Wii Fit Trainer sees Mario with Lyn next to her.

"Oh, Lyn's coming too." Little Mac surprisingly says.

"I told her when I was just heading out and she said she wanted to come." Mario says.

"Sorry for inviting myself in. I was really interested in this event you'll be partaking in." Lyn apologizes.

"No need to apologize. The more people the merrier. Don't you want to change into something more casual?" Little Mac realized Lyn in her normal clothes.

"It's ok. I feel comfortable wearing this outfit anyways." Lyn replies.

"Shall we get going?" Wii Fit Trainer says.

"Let's go now. Don't want to be late." Little Mac says.

The Smashers went into the Smash Portal that Sakurai prepared for them and teleported them to an old run out Gym where Little Mac always trains in.

Little Mac walks to a Punching Bag, lands some Punches, and dust comes out of it. "Been a while since I've been here."

"You must really miss this place." Wii Fit Trainer looks around at all the equipment.

"It maybe a small Gym, but it has done so much for me." Little Mac looks down at an old photo of him and Doc together.

Mario and Lyn walks around the Gym together, looking at all the pictures of Little Mac and Doc.

"Will you explain to me how Boxing works?" Lyn asks.

"Well, Boxing is a fighting sport where each Boxer have to either land a good amount of Punches when both Boxers go through every round or when one of the Boxers is knocked out for ten seconds. Like how Little Mac fights, he only uses his fists to do the talking." Mario explained.

"Must be really entertaining to watch. In my world, we have that kind of thing, but with Swords, Spears, and other weapons. And it happened in an arena" Lyn says.

"You'll see it's a lot different than your traditional weapon sparing." Mario's says.

"Mac, is that you son?"

The Smashers look where the voice came from and sees a tall man wearing a red and white training jacket, blue jogging pants, and a chocolate bar in his hand walking into the room.

Little Mac smiles and waves at him. "Hey there Doc. You miss me?"

Doc Louis, Little Mac's Boxing Trainer teared up in happiness and hugs Little Mac really tightly. "Oh Mac, I've missed you so much. You look like you're doing all right. Did you get all the letters I sent you?"

"Yep, and I read everyone of them. And thank you for sending me my favorite chocolate bars." Little Mac says.

"That's my boy. If you hadn't read my letters, I would've Star Punch all the way to the roof." Doc laughed.

"This must be Little Mac's coach." Wii Fit Trainer watches the two talking.

"He looks like a father to him." Lyn smiled.

Doc notices Mario, Lyn, and Wii Fit Trainer. "You brought some guests with you."

"Yeah, they're friends from the Super Smash Bros tournament I'm in." Little Mac says.

Doc looks at Mario closely, and remembers him as a referee before. "Hey! Long time no see buddy! How's it going?"

"Doing well." Mario responds, as they shake hands.

"And who are you two?" Doc asks the girls.

"My name is Wii Fit Trainer, a Yoga Instructor. I help Little Mac with some basic training." Wii Fit Trainer introduces herself.

"And my name is Lyndis, but you can call me Lyn." Lyn introduces herself.

"Nice to meet you both." Doc goes to Little Mac's ear and whispers. "So… which one of these lovely ladies are you dating?"

"I'm not dating anyone!" Little Mac hisses.

"What?! You've been in that tournament for a couple of months and you're not dating anyone? Listen son, I'll teach you how I get girls when I was your age." Doc whispers.

"I don't need that kind of lesson." Little Mac whispers.

"So, when is the boxing match?" Mario interrupted.

"It's suppose to start in an hour." Little Mac replies.

"About that… there may not be a Boxing match tonight." Doc sadly admits.

The Smashers turned wide eyed."What?!" everyone blurts out shocked.

"The ref for tonight's match is sick and can't make it." Doc sadly answered.

"Can't we have someone else to be a referee?" Wii Fit Trainer asks.

"There's no other ref since the others are either busy commentating another match or out on vacation. So that means the Boxing match will have to be canceled." Doc sadly says.

Mario looks at Little Mac, who stares at the ground disappointed. He wish there's something he can do, but then realizes that there is one thing. "Doc Louis, I have something to offer.”

"And what will that be?" Doc asks.

Mario smiles and whispers to his ear.

...

Later at night, Lyn and Wii Fit Trainer are sitting in the front row for the Boxing match. Huge amounts of fans in their seats cheering as they can’t contain their excitement for the match.

"I'm happy that the Boxing match is not canceled." Wii Fit Trainer says.

"Me too. I’m glad that we’re able to find someone to be the referee. By the way, where's Mario?" Lyn looks around.

Wii Fit Trainer smiles. "You'll see him soon."

On the stage, smoke was soaring through the air and shadowy figure was seen through the smoke. The smoke faded away and a familiar figure was shown on stage, surprising the crowd.

Lyn was really surprised when she sees Mario in a white buttoned up shirt, black tie, and pants.
"Mario!? What is he doing up on stage?”

"That's right, Mario isn't just a plumber who save Princesses, he was also a referee for boxing before." Wii Fit Trainer explained.

"Wow… He never told me that before." Lyn surprisingly says.

Mario takes out a microphone from his pocket and begins his introduction. "Welcome everyone to tonight's main event. It's-a-me, Mario, and I'll be your referee for tonight's Boxing Match!"

The crowd applauds and cheers loudly from all over.

"Without further ado, let's a bring out our fighters!" Mario looks toward his left"In this corner, we have King Hippo!"

The crowd has mixed reactions of the large heavy Boxer with a crown on his head.

"Ha ha! The belt will be mine!" King Hippo exclaims.

Mario looks toward his right. “And in this corner, we have the Boxing champion, Little Mac!"

The crowd cheers loudly for the little boxer with chants and applause.

Wii Fit Trainer waves her hands in the air.
“Little Mac, show him the results of our training together.”

“Win this battle for us!” Lyn cheered.

Little Mac and King Hippo stare down each other eye to eye.

"You finally came back. Hope that you weren't slacking while you're in that tournament." King Hippo smirks.

Little Mac smirks back. "I never slack in my Boxing training and I'll prove it in this fight."

The bell rings and the Boxing match begin!
King Hippo starts of the match by throwing strong Punches. Little Mac dodges them with ease and strikes back with quick Punches. Kings Hippo blocks each one, but his arms feel sharp pain flowing through them. While he has the chance, Little Mac lands some good Punches on King Hippo's stomach, sending him walking back to the other side of the Ring.

The crowd cheers really loudly for Little Mac.

"Good going, Little Mac! Keep it going!" Wii Fit Trainer cheered.

"Hit him hard, Mac!" Doc cheered.

"So this is what Boxing is." Lyn couldn’t keep her eyes off the match.

King Hippo got back up and throws a fury of Punches. Little Mac dodges each attack easily, but got hit from a strong Punch, sending him back to the other side of the Ring.

"Come on tiny, is that all you got?" King Hippo taunted.

Little Mac gets up. "That was a really good hit, but if you want me to go all out so badly, I'll gladly do it."

Little Mac goes in and attacks with a fury of Punches. King Hippo blocks every attack and throws some of his own. Little Mac dodges them with a quick dodge and strikes backs back with twenty Punches. King Hippo does his best to block them, but wasn't able to block all of them and took the remaining of hits. Little Mac continues his barrage of Punches, landing each hit on King Hippo's stomach and face, and sends him straight flying with a strong Uppercut. King Hippo lands on the floor hard on his back.

Mario started counting. "1… 2… 3… 4… 5…"

On the count of 5, King Hippo got back up and the match continues. King Hippo got really furious and throws strong Punches. Little Mac dodges them with ease and surprises King Hippo with a KO Uppercut on his stomach knocking him down on the floor again.

Mario counts again. "1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8… 9… 10… King Hippo is out!"

The crowd stands up from their seats and cheer loudly for Little Mac.

"You win, Mac!" Doc cheered.

"Way to go, Little Mac!" Wii Fit Trainer cheered.

"This was really entertaining to watch. Little Mac did great." Lyn surprisingly says.

Little Mac looks at the crowd and wave at them. As Mario is about to give him his Champion Belt, King Hippo got back up and goes up to Little Mac.

"Not yet, tiny!" King Hippo says.

"Little Mac, watch out!" Mario cried.

Little Mac looks behind him and King Hippo lands a powerful Punch on his face, sending him out of the Ring and knocking him out.

"Little Mac!" Wii Fit Trainer cried.

Doc runs out of his seat and goes to Little Mac. "Hey Mac, get up."

The Crowd started booing right after King Hippo's terrible stunt.

"Ha, ha, ha, now the belt and the money is mine!" King Hippo cheered.

"That's uncalled for!" Lyn exclaims.

"You don't deserve the prize after Little Mac beat you." Wii Fit Trainer says.

"Do you think I care about playing fair? The World is not always a nice place you know? I'll do whatever it takes to get my Champion belt and money. Now Referee, give them to me." King hippo demanded.

Mario tightens up his fist from what King Hippo did to Little Mac and gives him an angry glare.

"What?!" King Hippo exclaims.

"You took out Little Mac when he already won the match. As Referee, you already lost this match. So get lost or else I'll have to call the Police on you." Mario angrily says.

King Hippo laughs. "Then I'll just have to take you out too."

King Hippo charges in and throws a Punch. Mario jumps over King Hippo's attack and places the Champion Belt out of the ring.

"Since this is not a Boxing match anymore, I can do whatever I want to get my Champion Belt and money." King Hippo grins.

Mario smirks. "Only if you can beat me. Lyn, hold onto my hat." He throws his hat to her.

Lyn catches Mario’s hat. "Teach him a lesson, Mario!"

"Ha, ha, ha, what can a little Referee like him do? He's tinier than Little Mac." King Hippo teased.

"This." Mario lands a strong Punch on King Hippo's face, knocking him to the other side of the Ring.

The Crowd started to cheer for Mario to beat King Hippo.

"That was a neat Punch, but remember, this isn't a Boxing match anymore!" King Hippo runs up and attacks with his big belly.

Mario jumps over King Hippo and lands a strong Kick on his back, knocking him out of the Ring. "I know that."

King Hippo’s face turns red in anger, grabs a chair near him, and throws it. Mario jumps over the chair, and attacks with a Flying Kick. King Hippo grabs Mario's leg and slams him hard on to the ground. King Hippo jumps up for a Body Slam. Mario rolls back to avoid the attack and lands a lot of his signature Stomps while he's flat down on the ground. King Hippo got back up and attempts to grab Mario with his arms. Mario jumps over King Hippo, Kicks him down, grabs his legs, and Tornado Throw him up to the ceiling, and crashing down back onto the Boxing Ring, collapsing it.

The crowd cheer loudly for Mario and chant his name.

"Amazing performance, Mario!" Lyn cheered.

"He's a really good fighter." Doc Louis says.

After being knocked out for not too long, Little Mac woke up and sees Mario in front of him. "What happened?"

"King Hippo knocked you out by surprise, but I took care of him." Mario offered his hand to help.

Little Mac smiles and accepts his help. "Thanks, Mario."

Suddenly, King Hippo jumps out of the collapsed Ring and attacks with a Body Slam. As King Hippo got close, Doc Louis got there in time and lands a powerful Star Punch on King Hippo's face, sending him flying through the ceiling.

"Ahhh!" King Hippo cried, while flying out of the stadium.

"Remember Mac, keep on fighting until your opponent is completely knocked out." Doc Louis advises.

The battle is finally over and the Crowd cheers really loudly for the three fighters. Mario gives Little Mac his Champion Belt, and he raises it up to the crowd with the other two raising their fist up.

…

The Smashers and Doc Louis are eating out at nearby New York Pizza Restaurant. Around the table were two extra large pizzas with different toppings, fifty wings with five different flavors, and a large salad bowl for Wii Fit Trainer.

"Tonight's Boxing Match was one of my favorites. Mac beat King Hippo a lot easier than before,
Mr. Referee gave him a good fight, and I took him out flying with my signature Star Punch. Even though I'm old, I still got it." Doc Louis shoving a slice of pizza and some wings in his mouth.

"If you don't be careful on what you're eating, I'll have to invite you to my exercise and Yoga sessions." Wii Fit Trainer warned, eating some salad.

"Come on, Wii Fit, it's a celebration for Mac's victory. Why not eat a few slices of Pizza?" Doc Louis suggests.

"Sorry, but I prefer having Salad now."
Wii Fit Trainer adds extra ranch in her salad.

"I heard you cheering for me while I was fighting, Wii fit Trainer. Thank you for that." Little Mac thanked, eating some breadsticks.

"Of course! I'm your instructor too you know?"
Wii Fit Trainer winks at him.

Little Mac’s face turns bright red and continues eating. Doc sees his student’s face and smiled.

"You did good in fighting that monster too, Mario. If something like that happened to my friend, I wouldn't just stand down and let them do what they want." Lyn grabs some wings.

"Yeah, I just felt that it's the right thing to do." Mario finishing his slice of pizza.

"Thanks again for that. If I was more aware, I would’ve gave King Hippo a much stronger KO Uppercut to his big head." Little Mac thanked.

Mario smiles. "You're welcome. You deserve the belt and money for winning fairly."

"I can see potential in you too, Mario. You should come to the Gym with Mac and I'll teach you how to be a good Boxer too." Doc Louis suggests.

"Thanks for the offer." Mario thanked.

After they finished eating, it's time for the Smashers to head back to the Smash Mansion.

"Thank you for the food, Doc. It was delicious." Lyn thanked.

"No problem. Come by and we can do this again." Doc Louis says.

"Well Doc… I'll see you again when another Boxing match is coming." Little Mac says.

Doc Louis looks at Little Mac, tears start coming out of his eyes, and he gives him a big hug. "Mac, make sure you win a lot of matches when you go back. Make me proud, son."

Little Mac smiles and small tears come out of him. "I will, Doc."

The Smashers smile as they watch the two of them hug.

"See you again, Doc. Let's go on a bike ride or a jog when we come back." Wii Fit Trainer says.

"Of course! And Mac, you better treat
Wii Fit more like a lady and not just an instructor if you know what I mean." Doc Louis winks at them.

Little Mac looks at Wii Fit Trainer as she looks back at him, and blushes. "Stop that!"

"I'm just playing." Doc Louis waves bye to the Smashers.

The Smashers wave bye and head back to the Smash Mansion with the Smash Portal.

"Heh heh. Young love." Doc Louis heads back home while eating a chocolate bar.

Super Smash Bros Adventures Chapter 16

Mario and Robin are fighting are having their Smash Battle at Kongo Falls. Robin jumps onto the highest platform and charges up his
Thunder Tome. Mario jumps to him and attacks with a Back Flip Kick. Robin quickly dodges with a sidestep and lands a strong Slash with his Levin Sword, sending Mario flying to another platform. Mario lands on his feet, charges up his F.L.U.D.D to full power, and runs at him. Robin levitates in the air and shoots out his Arc Thunder Spell. Mario defects it back his Super Leaf Cape and pushes Robin off with a full power blast of water with F.L.U.D.D. Robin uses El Wind to recover, but Mario uses his Super Leaf Cape to turn him around. Luckily, Robin landed inside a Barrel Cannon and launches himself back on stage. Mario charges in and attacks with an Air Punch. Robin dodge rolls away and strikes back with his Bronze Sword combo. Mario avoided the attack by rolling behind him and landed a strong Smash Punch, sending Robin offstage. While Robin has the chance, he completes charging up his Thunder Spell and recovers back on stage with El Wind. Mario jumps in the air and throws Fireballs, Robin smirks and fires off his Thoron, overpowering the projectiles, and hitting him directly sending him flying to the upper corner of the blast zone. Mario barely survived and returns back on the top platform of the stage. Robin ran out of Thunder Spells and decided to prepare his Arc Fire Spell. Mario jumps down and throws a barrage of Fireballs. Robin levitates in the air, casts an Arc Fire Spell, and takes out his Levin Sword. Mario avoided the Arc Fire with an air dodge and Robin attacks with his Levin Sword. Mario avoided the attack with a side step, grabs Robin, throws him downwards, follows up with a couple of Uppercuts, and ended his combo with a Mario Tornado Air attack, sending Robin flying close to the blast zone above. Robin barely survived, but was sent flying into the blast zone from Mario’s Super Jump Punch, ending the match.

Mario and Robin returns back to the Smash Mansion and shake hands.

“Nice approach. I didn't expect you to do such a risky move." Robin compliments.

"Thanks! I a made sure to do the unexpected. If I missed, then you would have beaten me." Mario says.

"Next time I'll have to prepare myself. It’ll take time for me to adapt to your fighting style" Robin says.

“You’ll understand sooner or later.” Mario says.

After their battle, the two Smashers decided to go on a mission together and arrived at the Mission Board.

"So what kind of mission should we do?" Mario asks.

"Hmm… I want to do a mission that’s from my World. I also want to bring Prince Marth to introduce him to a special someone." Robin looks at each post and found something. “Perfect.”

"Found something?" Mario asks.

"Yeah, this mission is helping out a Merchant I know from my world." Robin looks down at the paper.

"Wow! Is she successful?" Mario asks.

Robin sweats as he remembers the times he interacted with the merchant. "Yeah… I always get tricked into buying things I don't need. If she's trying to sell you something, make sure you say no."

"Don't worry, I had trouble with merchants before. Let’s a go find Marth." Mario says

…

Ylisse, the continent where Robin’s adventures took place when he helped out the Shepards. The three Smashers arrived at their destination and roamed around Ylisstol.

“Ylisstol… same as always.” Robin smiled.

“Are you from here, Robin?” Marth asks.

“No, but a good friend of mine does. He’s the Prince, well actually the Exalt of Ylisse. But part of him doesn’t act royalty like you, Marth.” Robin explained.

“That’s why there’s so many people live here.” Mario looks around.

"Hey, everyone, Robin is back!"

The civilians gather around Robin, leaving out Mario and Marth.

"Wow, Robin is really famous here." Mario says.

"He must be really respected since he helped a lot during their war to bring peace here." Marth says.

"No way, it's the Hero King!"

Then a lot of civilians surround Marth and leaves Mario out.

"Are you really Prince Marth, the Prince of Altea?"

"He's also the founder of Ylisse!"

"How are you still alive?"

"Now now, one at a time please." Marth says pleasingly.

"What a good way to put me aside." As Mario is about to get up, a woman with red hair offers her hand.

"Are you ok?"

Mario smiles and accepts her help. "Yeah, thanks for your help."

"You must be one of those warriors that Robin competes with in that tournament.”

"That’s right. It’s a me, Mario!" Mario introduces himself.

The red hair woman giggled. "What a way to introduce yourself. My name is Anna, the most reliable Merchant of this world."

"A Merchant? Then, you must be the one that made the mission request?" Mario says.

Anna smiles. "That's right! Then Robin must be here too."

"Yeah… he's crowded around with all those people here with Marth." Mario points to the large group of people.

"Marth? The Hero King and founder of Ylisse?" Anna surprisingly asks.

"Yeah. That's the one." Mario replies.

"I heard a lot about him when I was young. A friend of mine named Tiki never stops talking about him. She said that he was like a big brother to him." Anna says.

Robin and Marth got out of the circle and met up with Mario and Anna.

"Robin, long time no see. Wow! It really is the Hero King!" Anna excitedly says.

"Anna? Why are you here in Ylisse?" Marth surprisingly asks.

"What do you mean? I always live here." Anna then understands. "Oh wait… I'm not the Anna you know from your world. From what I know, there are different kinds of Anna from different timelines. So I'm not the Anna you know."

"Really? You look really alike from the Anna in my world." Marth says.

Anna giggles. "So our beautiful looks are passed through each generation. That's good to hear. Enough about that and let's get straight to business. Now that you three are here, come and help me with my request. We'll be putting all of my new merchandise in stock." She shows a huge wagon full of things like armor, weapons, potions, etc.

Mario and Robin's eyes pop out staring at the large pile of merchandise that's about the size of a hill.

"We're going to put up all of that? This is going to take forever." Mario whines.

"Why are there so many items this time?" Robin wonders.

"There were so many things I found that looks good to sell. I can't just leave them." Anna says.

"But are you really going to be able to sell all of these items?" Mario asks.

Anna smirks. "Don't look down on me like I'm a low class Merchant. I can sell all of these as quick as you say, Sold!"

"We can't say no to a mission we accepted. Let's help her out. This can be a good way to develop a new relationship for people in different worlds." Marth says.

Anna smiles. "Like legend says, you're a real gentleman, Prince Marth."

"Of course Marth wouldn't decline a request like this." Robin sighs.

…

"So how's business going lately?" Robin asks.

Anna smiles. "Well, I actually sold a really rare suit of armor for double the price just a few hours ago and I sold five bronze weapons in a bundle for triple the price. So yeah, business has been booming right now."

"Wow… you weren't kidding, Robin." Mario says.

"Remember what I said at the Smash Mansion." Robin reminds.

"I know... I know..." Mario says.

The three Smashers arrived at Anna's shop, but it was a complete mess. There are a lot of scattered items on the floor like maps, potions, and weapons.

"My shop!" Anna cried, picking up all of her merchandise.

"What must've happened?" Marth helps out Anna.

"It's like a hurricane hit this place and took all the really good merchandise away." Robin noticed all the cheap looking merchandise.

"It must be those Bandits!" Anna angrily says.

"Bandits?" Mario puts up some bronze weapons on the wall.

"While I was heading back after doing business with some Soldiers the other day, some Bandits approached me and try taking everything away from me. Luckily, they were weak Bandits and I beat all of them in one swoop." Anna explains.

"Looks like they got you back big time." Robin says.

"Looks like it… But I’m not the kind of Merchant that gives up really easily! All right you three, here's another mission I like you to do. Get back my merchandise from those Bandits!" Anna demands.

"Right away." Marth says.

"Do we have to? I mean, you got new stuff to sell." Mario says.

Robin nods in agreement. "I agree with Mario. Why not leave them be?"

In just a split second, Anna takes Mario and Robin's money out of their pocket.

"What the?!" Robin exclaims.

"So quick!" Mario exclaims.

"If you two don't help, I'll be keeping this money as a replacement for all the stolen goods." Anna smirks.

"It shouldn't take too long. Besides, this is a mission we accepted so there's no going back until we're finished." Marth says.

Anna giggles. “I’m so glad having you on my side, Princess Marth.”

Mario and Robin sigh at the same time and the three Smashers head out to find the Bandits.

The three Smashers searched around a forest not too far from Ylisstol and found the Bandits Base. They sneak in and found the Bandits that took all of Anna's merchandise. Robin turns surprised when he sees Garrick.

"Garrick? How is he alive?” Robin shockingly says.

“Is there any magic that resurrect the dead?” Mario asks.

“I heard about corpse soldiers called the Risen from Lucina, but Garrick looks like nothing happened to him.” Robin says.

"Hmm… We’ll have to figure that out another time. What should we do?" Marth asks.

Robin looks at the base and takes notes of the amount of Bandits and weapons they’re carrying. "Hmm… There are a lot of Bandits here for us to handle. So…"

"Hey! What are you three doing here?"

Plegian Bandits surrounded the three Smashers, leaving the Smashers no place to run.

"Well, well, look who we have here. We have the Tactician that took us all out before" Garrick says.

"Garrick, how are you still alive?" Robin asks.

"Hmm… Why should I tell you? If I told you, then you'll probably run back and tell the Shepherds all about it. Since you three figured us out, how about we all send you to Hell?" Garrick suggests.

"I don't like that idea." Mario says.

The Bandits ready up their weapons and Garrick grabs his Axe. “Ok men, take out those Sheeps!”

The Plegian Bandits all charge at the Smashers together.

"Ok, here's the plan. Mario, go for the Bandits with Bow and Arrows. Use your Fireballs and your Super Leaf Cape. Marth, fight the Bandits with Swords and Axes. I'll take care of Garrick." Robin ordered.

"Right!"

The three Smashers split up and do as they planned. Mario takes out his Super Leaf Cape and reflects any projectile coming after him, then uses his Fireballs to burn all of the Bows in the Bandits hands, and takes out the Bandits with his Punches and Kicks. Marth quickly rushes in and takes out the Bandits using his Falchion and takes out stronger Bandits with his Dancing Blade attack and Dolphin Slash. Robin and Garrick are clashing with each other in a different area. Garrick lifts up his Axe and swings it as hard as he can. Robin easily dodges it and lands some Bronze Sword Slashes around his body. Garrick withstood the pain and continues swinging his Axe wildly. Robin continues to dodge each attack with ease and lands a strong Air Slash with his Bronze Sword on Garrick's stomach, sending him sliding back. Garrick grits his teeth, charges in, and attacks with a powerful Axe Swing with all his might. Robin jumps away, takes out his Levin Sword, lands a strong slash on Garrick's chest, sending him flying and knocking him out.

"BWAAARGH!" Garrick fainted.

"Check mate." Robin puts his Levin Sword away. "I didn't need any of my tomes against you."

"Looks like our work here is done. Let's call on some soldiers to capture them." Marth says.

The three Smashers return back to Anna's shop with all of her merchandise that were stolen.

"You got them back!" Anna cheered.

"Yeah… Now give us our money back please." Robin says.

Anna sighs. "Fine, here." Anna gives Mario and Robin back their bag of money.

Mario notices something as he caught his bag. "Wait, my bag feels lighter."

"Did you take some of our money while we're gone?" Robin asks.

Anna sticks her tongue out. "Yep! Now that half of your mission is done, help me set up all the merchandise. After that I'll return it."

Marth smiles. “Guess there’s no choice.”

"This is a really long mission for something so simple." Mario sighs.

Mario puts up all the medicine items on shelves, Robin puts back all the weapons in the right place, and Marth tidied up the Armors. A few hours later, the three Smashers finished putting up every item.

"We're done, Anna." Marth says.

"Thank you so much for helping! Everything looks good as new. Robin, Mario, here's the rest of your money." Anna gives the rest of Mario and Robin's money back to them.

"Thanks, but shouldn't we deserve a reward for doing your mission requests?" Mario asks.

"Hmm… How about I ask Lord Chrom to serve you a big feast at the Castle?" Anna suggests.

"That sounds good. I actually want to see Chrom again and need to introduce Marth to a special someone." Robin says.

Anna takes the Smashers to the Castle and found Chrom talking to Olivia, Frederick, Sumia, Lissa, and Tiki.

"Hey everyone, look who's here." Anna called.

Chrom and the rest take their attention to the three Smashers and were really surprised.

"Robin!" Chrom called out.

"You're back!" Lissa happily says.

"It's good to see you again, Robin." Frederick greeted.

"Welcome back." Olivia greeted.

"How's the tournament?" Sumia asks.

"Hey everyone, it's good to see you all again. The tournament is great! How are you guys?" Robin asks.

"Doing just fine. We were just doing some training just for the heck of it. Haven't really gotten a lot of action since our fight with Grima." Chrom says.

"You mustn't remind about that foul creature to Robin." Lissa says.

"It's all good." Robin says.

Marth notices the green haired girl staring at her with awe and let's out a wave. "Greetings. My name is Marth."

Tiki gets close, looks at Marth really closely and couldn't believe it. "Mar-Mar?"

Marth looks at Tiki with a confused look.
"Mar-Mar? I haven't heard that name for such a while. The only person that calls me that is... Wait... Tiki? Is that you?"

Tiki nods her head yes. "Yes Mar-Mar, it's me. The one little girl you knew from before.”

Marth couldn't believe it and just smile. "You grew so much in the far future."

Tiki cries tears of joy and gives Marth a huge hug for being separated for so long in the future.
"I miss you… Mar-Mar."

Marth hugs back, returning the favor. "You look really beautiful, Tiki."

The Smashers and the Shepherds smile at the happy reunion.

"Glad that I brought Marth with us." Robin says.

"By the way, Robin, who's this man with you?" Chrom asks.

"He doesn't look like he's from here." Frederick says.

"It’s a me, Mario! I'm from the same tournament that Robin is in. Nice to meet you all." Mario introduces himself.

Lissa giggles. "You have a really big nose!"

"Lissa, please don't say that." Olivia asks nicely.

"It's not nice to say that." Sumia says.

"I apologize for what my little sister said to you, my name is Chrom." Chrom introduces himself and offers his hand for a handshake.

Mario smiles and accepts Chrom's handshake. “Robin told me all about you.”

Chrom looks at Marth. “I didn’t think I would ever meet a distant descendant from long ago.”

“And I didn’t think I would meet someone in my blood from the far future.” Marth says.

Marth and Chrom takes out their blades and compared them.

“Your Falchion looks completely different than mine.” Chrom surprisingly says.

“And yours is exactly like Lucina’s.” Marth says.

“Lucina’s Falchion is basically the same one that I have, from a different timeline.” Chrom explained.

“A different timeline? That’s why it looks so similar.” Marth surprisingly says.

"Lord Chrom, can we have the servants cook a big feast? Robin, Marth, and Mario helped me
out today." Anna asks.

"A feast? It’ll be nice having food with some surpassing visitors. Frederick, will you please tell our servants to prepare a feast?" Chrom asks.

"Right away." Frederick says.

The three Smashers and the Shepards enjoy a banquet at the main hall. Mario and Robin stuff their face with food, while everybody else eat at their own pace.

"They must be really hungry after helping you out, Anna." Olivia says.

Anna winks. "Yep, I made them work really hard for me."

"Wow! You fought so many interesting warriors, Mar-Mar." Tiki says.

"Yeah, and they're really strong. Like Mario over there, he beat me in the first tournament. It was really an amazing fight." Marth says.

“Amazing!" Tiki exclaims.

"You must be really strong then. How about you show us how you fight?" Chrom suggests.

"I too am interested. Learning a brand new fighting style from a completely different world would be quite interesting.” Frederick says.

"I would love to. Maybe you all should watch the Super Smash Bros tournament and you'll see
a lot of different people fighting." Mario says.

"So Mario, do you have a girlfriend?" Sumia asks.

Mario stops eating and lost his appetite. "Umm... No… I don't...”

Robin whispers into Sumia's ear about the situation.

"Oh my… I apologize for asking." Sumia apologizes.

"It's ok… You just want to know more about me. How about asking something else?" Mario suggests.

"Hmm… Since you're from another world, care to tell us what sorts of things you do?" Frederick asks.

Mario smiles and tells them things he does in his world. “Sure! It’ll be a long story.”

Mario tells everything from saving Princess Peach from Bowser, traveling around different worlds/galaxies, and many of his adventures.

"That's what you do in your world? Sounds like
a lot of fun!" Lissa happily says.

"You save this Princess from a giant turtle that breaths fire. That sounds like a lot of trouble." Chrom says.

"Yeah, especially since he had done a lot of crazy things just to get her.” Mario says.

"Racing, sports, party games, and dancing? You do a lot of fun things in your world." Sumia happily says.

"Can you show us how you dance? I would like to learn some new dance moves." Olivia asks.

"Well… It's been a long time since I done that." Mario remembering a slow dance with Peach.

"That's too bad… When you come back again, show me so we can dance together." Olivia says.

"You three must have an amazing time fighting at the tournament." Frederick says.

"Yeah, it's a lot of fun being there." Robin says.

"How is Lucina doing? I was hoping to see her with you." Chrom asks.

"She's having an amazing time there. She made a lot of new friends and doing a lot of new things with them. There's no need to worry about her." Robin says.

"I wish I was part of the tournament. I want to see my daughter again!" Chrom cried, not seeing her beloved daughter.

“You’ll see her soon. I’ll make sure to bring her here whenever we get the chance.” Robin says.

After their banquet is finished, the Smashers are getting ready to head home.

"Thanks for everything!" Anna happily thanked.

"Mar-Mar… Will I see you again?" Tiki asks.

Marth smiles. "Of course. I’ll visit here as much as I want. I'll even bring Caeda here.”

Tiki smiles. "Hope you come soon. I really miss seeing her!"

"I will." Marth rubs Tiki’s head.

"Robin, tell Lucina I say hello and bring her here with her friends one day.” Chrom says.

"Of course. And I’ll tell her how much you miss her." Robin smirks.

“Please do.” Chrom smirks back.

"It's nice meeting you, big nose! Come again so we can play some games." Lissa happily says.

"Sure! I’ll show you some games that’s from my world."Mario says.

"Come again with some new warriors and we'll make a much bigger banquet." Frederick says.

"It'll be nice to see new people from different worlds." Sumia says.

"And make sure that you remember how to dance, Mario." Olivia giggled.

"I'll try." Mario giggled.

The three Smashers smile, wave bye to everyone, and head back to the Smash Mansion by entering the Smash Portal.

Anna smirks and takes out a gold coin. "Mario really has unique coins compared to our world. I wonder if there are other ones.”
