Chara looks at his watch, then looks up to you before saying, “really, it took you an extra 10 minutes to add blush? Why are you even getting all doll up, we're just having dinner at my family place.”.He doesn’t sound so pleased about the idea of having dinner with his family and I’m not sure why? you can’t help but feel so excited to finally meet his family after so many years of him avoiding the interaction of you and his family.
You have brought up to him before maybe thinking, he was embarrassed of you, but after some clear explanation, he just doesn’t. Feel so close to his family that he wasn't ready to introduce his best friend to them, yet. Which you understand and you patiently waited for him to finally be able to be ready to introduce you to his family.“Uh It’s not just blush. I also put on eyeliner, so don’t you hate. I also like to make a first good impression to your parents and siblings, it’s been three whole years and They are complete mysteries to me and I can’t wait to meet them.” You said with a big excited smile on your face.
“Yeah, yeah.. well don’t get your hopes up too high, they are all just a bunch of dorks. Okay and I finally got this chance to introduce you without a stupid smiling trash can around to ruined it…” Chara mumbling that last part, you wonder who is this smiling trash can that he so often complains about. As you shrug at the thought, you start to walk to your car, closing your front door behind you. “Yeah yeah, I’m just surprised you got him to leave for a whole day so you can do this dinner..” looking in your purse for your keys, before hearing the jingle of your keys behind you.
Looking behind you, you see Chara holding your keys, “ I’ll be driving there since we are 10 minutes late because of someone..” he narrows his eyes at her before walking to her car and getting into the driver side. You sigh, giving up the argument before walking to the passenger side and getting in the car., “ yes mom, I apologize” you say to yourself, you can hear a chuckle coming from Chara.
After 20 minutes of the car ride, we finally reach our destination Chara’s family home. He parks the car in the street, turning off the car and getting out the car, he looks around to see two familiar car. “Oh Fuc- No way.. they shouldn’t be here.. what the fuck?” as you come out the car and hear Chara comment, you look around and see two unfamiliar cars. one of them are very red sports car the other was a yellow small cute car.
Confused on what’s going on, you look over to Chara, who is looking absolutely furious, not wanting to spoil mood he then turn to you. “Damn it! looks like the trap didn’t work and we got some unexpected guest that decided to come along.” He mumbles before leading you to the front door. “Well it can’t be that bad right, I mean their your family’s friends too.” You say cheerful trying to cheer him up, he can only groans, “they are not my friends and never been, I was hoping for you to just meet mom and dad first, uggghhh I’m going kill that snitch..” Chara says through he’s strain teeth.
“Hey now, let’s just have fun. If anything I still got plan B, we can ditch everyone if it gets to much for you okay, bestie” you pat Chara on he back to comfort him while giving him a smile. He then sighs and straighten himself up and grabbing the open handle, “thanks, but I promise you will met my fam, so today you will..”. Chara opening the front door, then walking inside to yell out, “Hey I’m home and I brought (Y/N) with me.” You chuckle a bit from excited and fellow behind him, walking into the house. Instantly it feels like home, greeting you is a sweet country style home with some modern furniture. From the entrance you can see the living room to the left with 3 very large couches, 2 L shapes and 1 recliner and to the right are a staircase leading up to the 2nd level of the home.
The hallway next to the stairs leads to the dinner room and the kitchen, you really can feel at home here. Suddenly you feel a chill run up your spine, looking around quickly to see who is around but see no one else but Chara Before hearing a sweet older lady’s voice. “Chara is that you?, oh dear I was beginning to think you weren’t going to bring your "friend" over.” Walking from the dining room a giant goat lady walks in and standing in front of you two now, “Oh my Chara you never said you friend was this adorable little girl..” she smile so warmly to you, you only 5’2’’ but I guess being as big as she is everyone would be little to her.
“Uh hello Ms. Nanny Got, you may call me (y/n)” you say nervously, but with a smile. You then notice that she gave a face as it she was confused. Toriel says, “Nanny got..? My dear child my name is Toriel, but you can call me Tori. But may I ask why would you think my name was that..?” You are flabbergasted and start to became flustered, “oh Toriel, is you name!? But Chara sai-" behind you, you heard a snicker and turning around you see Chara trying to hold in his laughter, that son of a B! Snapping your head back to Toriel, red in the face “I’m sorry Chara said that you go by the female goats names..” Chara is now letting go of his laughter and is dying on how red and embarrassed you look,
You can only glare and him and slap his arm out of frustration, “you set me up?!!? Why would you do that to your best friend?!” Chara, wiping the tears out of his eyes, “Ha that’s payback for that time you left me to deal with that over flirtatious cashier.. what you think I forgot, well how does it feel now..” Chara giving you a grin. “This and that are completely different scenarios, you’ll never see that cashier again while I'll get to see your mom for now on and die a little inside each time.” You see Chara only shrugs and stick his tongue out a little at you in a mocking way. You huff in embarrassment and defeat.
Toriel, witnessing the whole interactions you and Chara had, she is left without words, to see how different Chara is with you compared to everyone else. Chara can actually be himself around you. That put a smile on her face and she starts to laugh at the interaction with you two, “now now, we got guest and dinner waiting for you two, so come this way.” She then heads to the dinning room. Chara groans a bit and looks over to you, “well its now or never dork, lets get this over with..” he then follows his mom into the dinner room and you follow close behind, trying to calm your nerves. Walking into the dinner room, you hear Toriel say “Alright everyone, Chara's little friend is finally here now so we can get dinner ready now..”
As she heads into the kitchen to start grabbing the food, you look over into the very large dining room and see a big dinner table in the middle that can easily seat 15 people. You then feel everyone’s eyes on you now, turning to get a good look at everyone. You see first other large Goat monster that looks like Toriel but with a beard, he is sitting next to a smaller goat monster that looks the guy but without a beard. Next to that smaller goat monster was a pretty young girl that looks like Chara but her eyes remain close and she was bit darker in skin color.
Across from them are two other monster, a blue looking fish lady with bright red hair and an eye patch. Next to her is a yellow looking dinosaur lady who looks smaller than me and looks way more nervous too. Next to her is a large looking skeleton with what looks like a makeshift cosplay battle armor? He looks the most excited out of all of them. The next one to the taller skeleton is rather small, looking skeleton. He looks the most relax of the group, with a blue jacket on with a gray hood with white shirt and a permanent lazy smile on his face, he isn’t looking at you, more like he’s just resting his head on the table as if he’s ready for a nap.
“HELLO THERE HUMAN, I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS AND I LIKE TO BE THE FIRST TO WELCOME YOU”, the taller skel- ah I mean Papyrus says. “Uh hiya! The name is (y/n) nice to meet you, um papyrus, right?” You said, feeling your nerves at an all time high since everyone is staring at you. “(Y/N)? WELL THAT'S A LOVELY NAME FOR A HUMAN, COME SIT BEFORE DINNER STARTS”, Papyrus gesturing for Chara and I to come sit down already. “Ah yes, uh thank you for welcoming me!” You say politely, has Chara goes to sit next to the girl who looks like him, you follow behind.
Sitting down next to Chara, you’re now across from the smaller skeleton who has not moved or look up yet, you wonder how he is able to close his eye sockets like that when he’s all bone, you then realize you are staring, so quickly turn your attention to Chara, not seeing that the smaller skeleton slightly opens one eye socket to get a good look at you. Chara whispering to the girl next to him, “hey who open their mouths about this dinner cuz both bag of bones and twiddle Dee and twiddle dumb are here, Frisk”, Frisk then turns to Chara, only shakes her head and shrug. For that to pissed off Chara even more before he can say something.
The big goat man now say, “now everyone lets us introduce ourselves to Chara’s little friend here.. I'll go first” he turn to look at you, man you never felt so small before until seeing him. “My name is Asgore and I am Chara’s father.” Asgore then gestures the smaller goat to go. “Hi.. My name is Asriel, I’m Chara’s younger brother..” Asriel says now not sure what to do next, looking to Frisk. “My name is Frisk, I’m Chara’s younger sister and may I add how lovely you are looking today.” Frisk says in a flirty tone, you instantly blush, took back by the flirtatious remark.
The blue fish lady is next, “Hey Nerd I’m Undyne and I got only one question for you! What do you think about anime?” Undyne shout this at you, You feel overwhelmed but reply, “I freaking love anime and manga and on the weekends I like to believe anime is real..” Undyne then nods her head, “that’s right anime is real!!” She says laughing. Undyne then gestures to the yellow looking Dono lady, “This freaking gorgeous looking lady, is my girlfriend Alphys, and don’t let her timid nature fool you, she can talk your ear off about anime..” Alphys reply’s nervously “heh, he-hello! I’m Alphys..” is all she can say right now before looking over to the smaller looking skeleton.
Smaller skeleton haven’t moved yet before Papyrus yells, “SANS! WHERE ARE YOUR MANNERS? ITS YOUR TURN TO INTRODUCE YOURSELF,” the smaller skeleton finally opens his eyes sockets to look at you, while a lazy smile, he says, “Heya kiddo, name is sans.. sans the skeleton and Papyrus's older brother.”. You are shock by this news that sans is the older brother, but wait? is that wrong for you to judge someone height when you are also judge by your height too, feeling kind of shame, you smile at him, before Chara clearing his throat to get you attention, you look over to Chara who’s frowning.
He then whispers to you, "that’s the smiley trash can i been telling you." Shock by this new information, she then looks between Chara and sans before loudly saying and not thinking, “ YOU MEAN THAT'S SMILEY TRASH CAN!?!?” Soon realizing just how loud she had said that before turning to see everyone looking at you. Chara, “yup, you said that loud enough for the people in the back too.” Amuse at how red and embarrassed you are, he is now snickering to himself. Your face feel so hot and red unable to now look at anyone, “sorry, didn’t mean to say that aloud..” you can only look down at your plate to try to calm your now burning face.
Not noticing how sans is giving Chara a strain smile, papyrus speaking up “OH DONT WORRY Y/N, CHARA BEING CALLING MY BROTHER THAT, SINCE FOREVER SO ALL IS FORGIVEN” Papyrus says sweetly. You now feel a bit better and see that everyone is back to talking among themselves. Chara leans over and whisper, “Don’t let that smile fool you. He’s not to be trusted so easily. Okay” he leans back to continue his talk with frisk about who had snitch, you then glance up at everyone before feeling that same chill run down your spine again, quickly looking to see where the feeling came from only to come into eye contact with sans.
Sans gave this indescribable expression before switching it too quickly to his lazy smile and continue his talk with papyrus. Before you can ask Chara if he saw that, Toriel come walking in with the food, “alright, dinner is ready and we can eat now..” she sets the main dish on the table while frisk and Asriel get up to bring in the rest of the dishes. You really smell the food, you are blown away on how delicious everything smells and looks.
Well hoping the rest of the dinner goes off without a hitch, you think to yourself.
