Chapter Text

Nebula and Quasar sat alone for their first day of school. They both were worried especially given they were aliens attending a human school. To make matters worse, Nebula is a lesbian and Quasar is Trans gay man which successfully painted targets on their backs to all sorts of bullies. The duo set foot on the bus after receiving a goodbye hug from their sister Nova. Quasar just sat staring out the window until a human male student sat next to him. The student then spoke "Hello my name is Jason Merick but I go by Jay, who are you". "I'm Quasar" replied Quasar nervously. This interaction actually helped Quasar calm down from his anxiety for the duration of the bus ride. He couldn't help but feel attracted to Jay but his anxiety led him to not speak.

Nebula had a worse experience, she sat next to the closest thing to an alien she saw. A bug humanoid. The bug humanoid announced himself as Bugbo, Nebula was too nervous to respond. Bugbo proceeded to make passive aggressive comments about her the whole ride. Nebula continued to ignore him, which made the comments worse.

The duo eventually made it to Dumfuccul High School, glancing at it through the window. The bus doors opened and everyone slowly got off. This was going to be an interesting first day.

Nebula and Quasar entered the building to find themselves in the cafeteria. It was 30 minutes before first period so they chose to get something to eat. Neither one of them were used to human food and the breakfast food prepared for the students looked inedible but still they grabbed a tray and headed out.

Nebula managed to find a spot next to a purple sweatered girl and a yellow shirted girl. Nebula looked around nervously before introducing herself "I-i-i am Nebula..." the girls smiled before introducing themselves to Nebula "I am Sarah Henderson and that is my girlfriend Jamie Monroe.

Quasar gave up halfway of finding a seat so he sat on the floor. He attempted to enjoy his food until Jay showed up again and sat next to him. The presence of Jay made Quasar so nervous he couldn't eat. A gray hoodied man approached them both before laughing "seems the queers are on the floor" which only made both Quasar and Jay slightly angry. "I'm Mark Heathcliff and this my turf you space alien" that phrase pissed Quasar off the hardest but he calmed himself to avoid hitting Mark and getting in trouble on his first day.

The bell rang and all the students dispersed into the hallways. Quasar pulled his schedule out and headed to history class. Upon arriving, he met the teacher; a bunny named Mrs. Gabby. Quasar scanned the room for a spot, finding one between a goth girl and Bugbo. At least Mark wasn't here. Human history was Quasars least favorite, especially after what humans did to his home planet but he stayed calm and listened to Mrs. Gabby.

Chapter Text

Second Period rolled around and the buzzer went off, sending another cascade of students through the doors into the hallway. Quasar pulled out his schedule and walked to math class. During math class by Mr. Walten, Quasar had to excuse himself as he felt his period coming on "FUCK" Quasar said to himself. He raised his hand and asked to be excused which Mr. Walten allowed. Quasar heard crying coming from the girls bathroom that sounded like Nebula but ran to prevent blood leaking in his pants.

Mark appeared and began to bang on the stall door "Is that blood I smell? are you bleeding in there, alien boy? I will make you bleed if you aren't." shouted Mark. Quasar ducked under and went through a different stall until he escaped Mark's wrath. Upon entering the halls, he noticed two male teachers making out but gave them their privacy. Nebula came out and hugged Quasar, still crying. A girl with glasses and yellow sweater was really homophobic and xenophobic towards her.

Quasar calmed Nebula down and headed back to Mr. Walten's math class, hoping he didn't stay out too long.

Chapter Text

Third period rolled around, one more period until his first day ended and Quasar was more than ready for that. He sat in Mr. Sellars English class and remembered he was the one making out with the other guy awhile ago.

In the middle of class, a kid dressed in all black with a pale white face tried to get Quasar's attention "Psst hey, I'm Noah, wanna get revenge on Mark and his girlfriend Violet? meet me in the bathroom at lunch". Quasar didn't want to get in trouble but his anger involving Jay made him agree. At lunch, he entered the bathroom to see Noah, Bugbo, a white button up shirted boy, a boy holding a camera, and a goth looking boy. Noah introduced Quasar to the group "That's Bugbo, Gradient Joe, Alex Kralie, and HABIT" said Noah. Bugbo wrapped his arms around Joe in an embrace. "We have a plan to pour foam on Mark, Violet, and his friend Adam Murray.

Nebula sat in lunch, she had found a group of lesbian couples that took her in. Nia, Lacey, Sarah, Jamie, Sophie, and Jenny were her new friend group. They too, were fed up with Violet's behavior.

Chapter Text

Fourth period now, Quasar entered Mr. Dublowski's science class when he realized it was the second teacher making out. He couldn't even think straight just imagining revenge on Mark. At the end of school, Quasar found Nebula and began to walk out when they were cornered by Mark, Adam, and Violet. "Time to give you a taste of your new life here in my school!". As Mark approached, a bucket filled with foam was dumped on the trio causing them mass embarrassment. Suddenly every student in the school began to laugh at them. Nebula and Quasar left and headed to the bus.

Quasar sat next to Jay who smiled and kissed Quasar, causing him to blush. As Nebula and Quasar got off the bus, Nebula asked how their first day was, Quasar responding "It was great".
