Chapter Text

Notes:

In this story, Loona is Legoshi's stepsister and the two grew up together, which is why their personalities are slightly different from in the original stories. For example, Loona is now more social than in the series and openly shows that her brother is important to her. Socially, however, she is an outsider; she hates the discrimination against carnivores and the herbivores only see them as monsters. Because Loona is who she is, she still has her sharp tongue and says what she thinks about others without consideration. Legoshi won't be as shy in my story and will also be more open-minded. This also applies to his taste for females and his existence as a carnivore. He will still try to find his way in society and strive not to be a fearsome wolf. Legoshi will still be a little reserved and awkward, but more determined to get these problems under control.

Chapter 1: Loona

Legoshi groaned in annoyance while cradling a pillow over his ear. The tall and slender gray wolf with blue-gray fur tossed restlessly in his bed. It's been about a week now since he left school and started looking for an apartment. As he discovered, renting an apartment wasn't exactly cheap. Unlike him and his mother, she and her father were hellhounds. Hellhounds were the strangest of all canines and were always easily recognizable by their eyes. They had a red sclera and white pupils. Some even had extra fur on their heads that they called hair. Otherwise, hellhounds came in all sizes and colors, most of them no different from the other canids. So, some could look like dogs, others like foxes or wolves.

Loona had a wolf-like appearance, she had a pointed, canine-like snout with sharp teeth and a dark gray nose. Her eyes were red sclera with white irises, the female hellhound's fur was white. The fur that framed her face, however, was gray and there were patches of gray on her shoulder as well. However, what stood out the most was her long and voluminous silver hair. As was her long and bushy tail, which was dark gray with a white underside.

What was immediately clear was that Legoshi and Loona were entirely different characters, he was always a bit quiet and reserved. Loona, on the other hand, was wild and freely spoke her mind, which led to problems, especially at school. What was the biggest surprise, however, was that the two-step siblings quickly became friends. The female hellhound even managed to get her stepbrother out of his shell. Since Loona had no relatives, all she had left was Legoshi and her grandfather. Of course, Gosha took care of the two as if it were his own children. Both step-siblings were inseparable until they went to two different schools. The male went to Cherryton Academy, while Loona went to an all-carnivore academy. But that didn't mean the two didn't keep in touch. They wrote to each other regularly and even both went home during the holidays, except for this holiday.

Because of the murder at his school, meeting his primal instincts, his first love with Haru, and because of the Riz thing. These were all things that made the male dog put aside contact with his family, and he regretted that too. When Loona told him she was in a similar situation, the two decided to move in together. Legoshi took the advice to heart, especially since it concerned him. But it also applied to his social skills, which the wolf was working on. The llama was still cautious at times, but he and the male spent a few breaks together.

Donson had an easier time with Ren, he was an ermine and nineteen years old. He was not only the smallest carnivore, but also the smallest employee in the restaurant. The group went to a nearby bar, where the animals went to drink together after their hard work. The bar consisted of a long black counter with several stools along it.
