Chapter Text

She didn't think she would be here right now, but she didn't mind.

It was a change of plans really sudden to her.Her flight had gotten cancelled so suddenly,so she had ended up choosing to book a flight to Argentina since that was next on her list of visiting.She had heard some things about a piano artist that was really famous at this time.She had reserved a siting tonight,since the piano artist was performing there tonight.(she wanted to go with hi-)

She remembered a friend that used to play the piano.

She shook her head from those thoughts she didn't need that right now.She called a cab over and got in.

Recently she had been thinking a lot about them.She was used to it now, it had beeen 6 years after all.

The anniversary of that day was nearing.

In a weeks time really it would be the anniversary of him confessing his love to her.

"We are here Señora"said the driver.She snapped out of those thoughts when she heard his voice.

She got out of the cab and grabbed her suitcase's.She paid for the cab and entered the hotel.

Her last fleeting thought was she needed to relax.

Beep..Beep...Bee-

He tuned it out.He got used to it always being the same.Beep..eep

It was always the same thing the doctor said.("I think its best if we unplug him it has been years").They had hope but it was tumbling down and fast.

"My love"said Nadia with a concerned tone.The love of his life had ended up blind while in the incident.Alenjandro ended up with the worst of it.He was in a coma.

He had been in it for six years.(and still in it with no response.)

"Yes my love what is it?"He said even thought he knew what she said with the tone.She didn't want him to stress out,but he couldn't help it he had to think about next month hospital bill payment.They never talked about it.He knew that she knew but it was better this way.He put his hand on top of her and held it.

He sighed as he pushed those thoughts aside.Nadia had a show tonight to see if they could at least get some money for the bill.They had little time to come and see Alejandro and tell him the good news that he lived to see another day.

Nadia smiled at him and got up."Im gonna go look for Victoria so we can say goodbye to Alejandro"she said as she leaned over and gave him a kiss.She grabbed her walking stick and walked away.

He watched her go as millions of thought ran through his head.

She was still in bed at the moment going through memories of him.Oh how she missed him, she wondered if they would all be a happy family if he was still here.

She looked at the pictured of them on the bedside table and thought yes they would be happy.

She had to get up to leave Lauro at school.

She walked down the hallway and peeked into his room.Lauro was still sleeping and how she loved their son.

"Lauro mi amor get up"she said as she shook him gently.Lauro turned around and opened his eyes while he yawned.After he stopped he smiled at her still obviously sleepy.

"Morning mami"he said.He hugged her as he sat up to stretch.

"Brush your teeth and come down to eat after mama Rosario dresses you, ok?"she told him as she kissed his forehead and got up.

"okay mami"he said going into the bathroom.She smiled before walking out and closing the door.

She needed to go and wake Dimitrio.

He thought of her day and night.Wasn't that pathetic even after its been 6 years.

He still had a love so strong for her.He wished that she was here in his bed sheets.Most of all he wished for her to be happy even thought she left him and he was bitter on the inside.

He sighed when he heard a knock.

"Dimitrio get up"he heard his sister say.

He got up and said "im up dear sister"in a teasing voice as he opened the door with a grin.

She rolled her eyes while smiling.

"We are waiting for you down there to eat so hurry up and get dressed"she said while walking away.

"ok"he said back as he went into his room to change while clearing his thoughts went away.

Honestly considering how nervous she was tonight she was surprised by how calm she was getting on the stage to play.

She recognized the feeling she got when she put her hands on the piano.She felt like she was coming home, even thought she had put her hands on a piano a thousand times before it wasn't the same as getting on stage and performing after years of not performing.

It felt really good to be up here she was so happy.

Her fingers went over the piano as if she was a natural and not someone that trained years to obtain this level of talent. She didn't want too think that the only differences were he wasn't here and she couldn't see , she just played the piano without thought and enjoyed it .

She was a beauty, she had always been a stunning woman in his eyes the first time he met her she was a just the friend of the wife of his bestfriend and she was married.

He would never regret falling in love with her.He would always regret what happened to make them escape from a person that couldn't take a no but he would never regret leaving that doomed place.

He vividly remember seeing her first performance she had played so good even though she was struggling during that time. He hoped that she was happy with him even thought this peace was not always going to be with them.

Getting out of his thoughts he went back to looking at the performance .

He heard someone sitting down behind him but didn't turn . He was captured by the beautiful performance .

"Come back here Laurito" laughing said mama Rosario.We took Lauro out to the park today he's been begging to get out and play, and he's honestly getting to big.If Alejandro was here he  could be here to see him grow up but no he was dead.

"Mama Rosario do you want an ice cream?" she asked . She walked over to her keeping an eye on Lauro who was running around, she stopped in front of her to ask what flavor but she felt a weird sensation in her chest so she sat down.

"Are you good Monseratt ? You look very pale" said Rosario.

Monseratt didn't know why she was acting or reacting like this, she just had a weird feeling that something was happening.She shook it off telling Rosario that she was fine and got up again to get the ice cream.

That was weird.

He was honestly so tired and over this paperwork he had to get done, he'd rather be out there drowning out his thought and sorrows for a woman that wasn't coming back with a good drink.

Right now he was honestly hoping for a distraction of any kind cause honestly if he didn't find one he would go a little insane in this little tiny office space.

"Dimitrio?" the snaping fingers of someone got him out of his thoughts.It was like God heard him needing a distraction or something because his friend was here.

"What happened Refujio is there something you need?"he answered back to his friend and work colleague.Honestly he thought he could guess why his friend came to talk to him, as of lately from the information he gathered (mind you this was what his friend told him) he was having thoughts and was not doing so good with Esmeralda.Which that wasn't his business but she was pregnant and well from what his friend told him she wanted to go back to work after she game birth and well he saw both points of views, but it was still really early to tell what would happen.

"Work is done lets go", finally he thought he was ready to get out of here.His thoughts kept on straying over to someone and he needed that gone now , so they walked down the hallway to the lockers where they started changing out to leave.

"Let's go to the Hideout tonight, I'll see you there right?" he asked Refugio.It was sometimes pathetic how utterly obsessed he was with his (wife )  ex-wife that had left him six years ago, and honestly the only way to get her out of his mind was women and alcohol which isn't his proudest moment right now.

"Yea I'll see you there later, also did you see Monica today? She was looking for you".

"Yeah I did see her it was just something from a case I'm working on currently she needed some papers" he answered back taking off his shirt and quickly putting another one on.He took out his stuff from the locker and turned back to look at Refugio who was finishing up.

"Ah ok, anyway I'll see you later I have to go grab something go ahead" he said back.He walked back down the hallway and turned left away from his eye view.

"Ok ill catch you later" he shouted down the hallway and walked to the entrance to leave.
