Chapter Text

Mike wakes up at 8 am it's the summer so this was early for him to wake up. He goes to the bathroom and as he looks in the mirror he tears up because in his reflection he sees his older brothers. his teeth and walks downstairs no Suprise the house was empty, so he goes to the kitchen and grabs a waffle sticking it in the toaster and pours himself a glass of milk. once the waffle id done in the toaster, he eats it and chugs down the glass of milk and soon enough it hits him and he bolts to the bathroom. he barely makes it in time before he hurls his guts into the toilet. "ugh" mike groans as he heads back to his room and grabs a book and lays down and reads it. despite popular belief mike is quite smart. he sets down his book "the stand by Steven king" down on his nightstand and heads to the bathroom. He stares at his reflection as he tries to ignore what he sees standing behind him since quint is dead. "Shit just go away!" he mumbles under his breathe. mikes skin starts to crawl as he starts feeling quints hands on him again. mike silently starts panicking and scratching at his skin trying to get the feeling to go away he scratches to the point where he started bleeding before the feeling finally went away. after the feeling finally goes away, he punches himself in the leg before he makes sure the bathroom door is locker, before he takes the blade out of his razor, and he cuts along his sides before he starts cutting his wrists and after a few minutes mike puts the blade back in the razor and throws his hoodie on and cleans the blood outta the sink and then quickly leaves his house. he grabs his bike and rides it to wills house and knocks on wills front door hoping to god will his home. will answers the door "oh hey mike" he says before noticing the smell of blood and grabs mikes wrist and drags mike to the bathroom. "mike i need you to take your hoodie off please" he says calmly. mike takes his blood-soaked hoodie off setting it in the tub> will takes the rubbing alcohol and puts it on a cotton swab as he proceeds to clean mikes cuts and kisses mikes scars before bandaging mikes arms and torso up. mike looks like hes about to cry. "what happened this time?" will asks mike softly. "i felt his hands on me again and I couldn't handle it and lost it" mike responds quietly barely above a whisper. "oh you poor thing" will says as he hugs his boyfriend and he helps mike back to his room before hugging mike again as mike breaks down and sobs into wills chest hugging back. "shhh its alright i got you mike" he says rubbing mikes back. "That monster can't hurt you anymore i promise hes dead he cant hurt you" will says doing his best to calm down his sobbing boyfriend. mikes starts calming down and cuddles will and after a couple hours of silent cuddling except for mikes crying mike falls asleep on will and will wraps his arms around mike falling asleep soon after.

Boris wakes up one morning after he was beaten up by his dad the night before Boris body ached and was bruised from the beating. He got up and walked to the bathroom and looks at the bruises before putting his red sweater on. Luckily enough for Boris his face was mostly untouched except for a small bruise on his eye. Boris goes outside it’s about 5 am he pulls out his pack of cigarettes and pulls one out and lights it taking a hit every couple minutes and he puts it out on the bottom of his shoe and walks to the bus stop. At school he listens to the teacher talk but he doesn’t pay much attention since he spends most of the time staring at theo. At about lunch time he looks up at theo theo getting sight at the bruise theos gaze softens* “oh darling” theo says softly cupping Boris face. Boris melts into theos touch a bit. Theo hugs boris tightly, “dear im so sorry, you don’t deserve what your dad does to you”, theo says. Boris quietly responds “eh its fine at least compared to what my uncle did”, boris shivers in disgust at the mention of his uncle. Theo tilts his head confused asf cause boris never told him about his uncle before and quietly asks “if you don’t mind me asking, what did your uncle do?”. Boris quietly responds “to put it quite frankly he did things to me and my brothers…”. Theo feels like hes going to hurl hearing that he understood immediately what boris meant by that and it made theo feel sick. “No one deserves to go through that”, theo says trying to remain calm he truly felt bad for boris. Theo hugs boris close. That day after school the two of them decided to sit at a park for a bit. Boris pulls a peice of tin foil from his pocket and offers Theo a piece of acid (i believe thats what it is in the movie idk what exactly its called) and Theo and Boris both take one and pop it in their mouth. They walk to Theos house high. Theo’s step mom immediately starts yelling at him and Boris and Theo sneak off to Theo’s room to cuddle and chat. Boris slips up mid conversation and says that he misses his younger brother and that he had killed his uncle after quint had kidnapped mike for about a month. Theo looks at Boris and holds him close very worried about Boris. “How about you go to sleep Boris so you can relieve some stress” Theo says softly. Boris nods and lays his head on Theos chest and slowly drifts off to sleep. Theo plays with boris hair for a couple hours before falling asleep himself.

Chapter Text

Miles wakes up and walks downstairs to see kate talking with someone on the phone and he rolls his eyes and sits down. He gets on his phone and calls chief hopper for an update on mike. “Hows my brother?” Miles asks his voice in a cold piercing tone. “He’s doing fine kid..” hopper responds half awake over the phone. “Anything i should know? Hows his health and mental health doing” miles asks his voice still cold and almost emotionless. “He’s dating will byers from what I know, he’s really skinny alarmingly so, his mental health seems to be declining slowly, he seems to be getting distant from literally everyone except will, thats the truth happy now miles” hopper says in a slightly annoyed yet concerned tone, “yes. Tell him i will be coming down to town soon, also istg if i found out your hiding something from me, anyways tell him im coming to town in the next week and that i miss him dearly” miles tells hopper his tone staying the same. “I will let him know” hopper says. “Alright by cheif” miles says hanging up the phone not giving hopper enough time to respond. Miles makes himself breakfast not trusting kate or anyone to cook for him remembering quint drugging miles food before to do things to him miles truly doesn’t trust anyone except his brothers, miles eats his food and then goes up to his room and sees quint im the glass reflection and feels sick to his stomach remembering every single detail of what quint did to him feeling gross and disgusted with himself and he scratches at his skin. After a few minutes quint disappears miles grabs a change of clothes and towel and takes a shower scolding hot water and he caused himself to bleed by scrubbing his skin way to hard to feel clean.About an hour later he wears a stripped sweater and a pair of jeans. He sits on his bed and plays his guitar trying to get his mind off the memories. And he sees a spider on the floor so he picks it up and puts it in the cage of his spiders cage. After a bit kate is trying to talk to him and he very Aggressively plays the drums toning her out he fucking hated her after she finally leaves he locks his bedroom door. He puts a record in his record player and then he grabs a book and reads it. Its a horror book hes a huge horror nerd. After a couple hours he stops the music and sets the book down. He goes down and eats dinner before going back to his room and locks his door and lays down and stares at the ceiling for about 4 or 5 hours and then finally falls asleep. All he can think about is his brothers and what quint did to him. He sleeps for an hour before waking up in a cold sweat and terrified and he spends 30 or so much trying to calm down and then he just sobs into his pillow for a few hours before passing out at about 3.am in the morning.

Chapter Text

A couple days later, miles goes down to hawkins and well walking around someone runs into him, hes about to say something but then he notices that its his baby brother. “Hey mike” miles says.
“Hey miles” mike replies. Miles hugs mike tightly. “How have you been” miles asks. “Alive” mike replies. “I can see that” miles says teasingly. “I missed you” mike says not wanting to let go of his older brother. “I missed you too” miles responds rubbing mikes back. They start walking around and they stop somewhere and take a break they sit in silence thats until someone comes over and complains that they need to stop being so lazy or something. Once miles hears that he immediately snaps back “no. Dont even woman. We have been walking for over an hour if you disrespect my brother again i will fucking kill you”. Mike is a bit shocked by what miles said. The woman is taken back “oh please you need to respect your elders” she snaps back at him. Miles could feel his blood boil. “Respect is earned not a fucking given.” Miles snaps back at her the anger in his voice being obvious. “Excuse me brat” she says in a very demanding tone. Mike hugs his knees starting to feel uneasy. “You heard me woman.” He says feeling his blood boiling even more. It all falls silent for a minute until a slap is heard the Karen backhanded miles “didnt your parents ever teach you any manners”, she says in a cocky tone. She just sealed her fate. Miles death stares her his blood boiling even more as he says in a monotone voice, “what parents?, you mean my good for nothing dead beat mom? Or my neglective and abusive dad?”. She stares is shock “dont talk about your parents like that young man” she says. “Im just telling the truth”, miles says. “He is”, mike responds. She stares at mike Piercingly. “Shut your mouth f@ggot.,” She says to mike. Her comment to mike pissed miles off “dont tell my brother what to do hag”, miles says. “Im not a hag im only 32, she says. “I thought you were 60”, mike says causing miles to laugh slightly. “HOW DARE YOU”, she yells.“Hes not wrong”, miles says amused. She peoceeds to call mike a bunch of names. This tick’s miles off and he grabs her arm dragging her out giving mike a ill be right back look. Once in the forest he pulls out a knife and she runs he chases after her tackling her to the ground carving things into her arms “hag. Bitch and many more causing her to scream out in pain. “Theres a special place in hell for you and your brother”, she says as she gets stabbed, miles stabs her repeatedly until she’s completely dead and then he walks to a lake near by rinsing the knife off and takes hoodie off wrapping the knife in it and putting on a clean hoodie before returning to Hawkins, “sorry about that mike”, he says. “It’s alright”, he says and immediately hugs miles. After a few they go back walking and stop for dinner which didn’t sit well for mike but mike did manage to stop himself from throwing up. They continue walking and sit at the park after dark talking about their childhood. Realizing that their dad needs to go to jail. “Jesus how is he not in jail”, mike says. “Beats me”, miles responds. After a while they both fall asleep at the park. (Sorry about part of it being vague im trying not to spoil future chapters)

Chapter Text

The next day at about 4 am Mike wakes up. He sits up and gets out of bed and goes to take a shower to start the day. The raven haired boy gets out at about 6 am and starts getting ready for the day. He walks downstairs and grabs some toast for breakfast but throws it out after he leaves. Mike walks downtown and hugs miles as they meet up. “Morning”, Miles says to Mike hugging back. Miles found mikes clinginess absolutely adorable. “Morning”. Mike mumbles clinging onto miles. Mike looks up at his older brother “have you heard anything from Boris?” He asks. “No sorry Mike”, miles replies. Mike sighs he really missed Boris but knew there was nothing he could do about that. Even tho that hurt him to think about. Mike and miles decide to go for a walk and they go out and sit in the forest and talk. Mike falls asleep and miles holds him well he sleeps for a couple hours. Mike wakes up 3 hours later and then they start playing some games. After a bit Mike sits down unable to do much more which worries miles. “Mike are you okay?” Miles asks. “I’m alright” Mike replies. After a little while Mike and miles head up to miles house for the night
