Chapter Text

Felix stares at his yogurt and blinks. It’s not what he wanted for breakfast but it’s all they had in the house. Felix’s father, Mark, has been too busy to do a grocery run and Felix doesn’t have a car. Sighing, Felix mentally wishes his yogurt would turn into bacon or something.

“Felix, are you done eating?” Mark comes down the stairs in his sheriff’s uniform. He runs a hand through his stringy hair and rubs the top of Felix’s head. Felix frowns, having to re-straighten his hair after his father messed it all up.

“Will you please buy me a car?” Felix complains. “We need groceries and you always take the car to work and never get us groceries. I need food, Dad. Yogurt is not food.”

“Right,” Mark sighs. “I can ask around the station today at work, see if anyone has a used car, and buy off of them for a couple of grand.”

“Thank you,” Felix sighs. He does eat his yogurt more willingly now that there is a possibility of him having transport soon.

“Hurry up so I can take you to school,” Mark states as he heads to the coffee pot to pour him a cup. “Don’t forget your umbrella, it’s going to rain again.”

Felix is 17 years of age and has moved from Australia to Portland, Maine in order to live with his father. His parents got a divorce and Felix’s dad won custody since Felix’s mom was the one to cheat. Felix and his mom used to be best friends but now that he knows she’s a cheater, well…he hasn’t talked to her since.

“Okay Dad,” Felix agrees.

“Your mother called me last night,” Mark sips on his coffee. “She says you are ignoring her calls.”

Felix gets up to throw away his half-eaten yogurt.

“Yeah well, if she wanted a relationship with me then she shouldn’t have been slutting it up all over Australia while married to you,” Felix sneers.

Mark grows quiet, staring at his coffee mug with a sad expression.

“I’m sorry Dad,” Felix whispers. “We don’t need her. We’re fine on our own. Two good-looking guys like ourselves.”

Mark laughs.

“Don’t forget your scent blockers,” Mark clears his throat. He always changes the subject when the affair is brought up. It’s normal for alphas to cheat but to have an alpha’s omega wife cheat with multiple partners? It’s unheard of.

For everyone’s sake, it’s a good thing Mark is a very docile alpha. Felix on the other hand, might be an omega, but he’s feisty. He was ready to fight his mother on his father’s behalf. The omega was all set on kicking some ass but was forced to stand down.

“I have some on already, can you still smell me?” Felix sniffs his shirt.

“Yes,” Mark nods and places his empty cup in the sink. “Your pheromones are the strongest I’ve ever smelled, son. I don’t want you to encounter any troubles at school.”

“Right,” Felix nods. “I’ll be right back then and spray some more.”

“Just take the bottle with you,” Mark calls out to Felix’s retreating form.

Felix rushes up to his room and sprays himself down before putting the bottle in his backpack.

“Alright, Dad, let’s see what this school is all about,” Felix announces.

Mark leads the way and Felix climbs in the off-duty vehicle as they make the silent ride to school.

Parking, Mark looks at his son.

“Are you nervous?” Mark asks.

“Not really, I make friends easy,” Felix grins. “I know it’s the second week of school and my last year but I’m not worried.”

“Just try not to get into any fights with alphas,” Mark sighs.

Felix has a problem with authority. He hates being told what to do, especially by an alpha. The problem? Felix has years’ worth of fighting lessons to back up his filthy mouth. To say he gets into a lot of fights would be putting it mildly.

“I’ll behave if they do,” Felix grins. Mark sighs, shaking his head.

“Alright, let me scent you,” Mark leans over and rubs his wrist on Felix’s scent glands. The omega purrs with the added pheromones, then glares at his father for bringing that out of him. Mark suppresses a laugh.

“Stop making me purr, it’s embarrassing,” Felix whines.

“You’re lucky I don’t slap a collar on your neck,” Mark warns. Felix pales.

“I’ll behave,” Felix gets out of the vehicle. “I’ll walk home today, thank you for the ride. Love you.”

“Do be safe, love you as well,” Mark pulls away and Felix stretches before walking up the stairs to enter the building.

There are so many people, and scents, bustling about that it makes Felix’s head spin. His school in Australia was private and small. This is a massive public school, so it will take a bit of adjusting.

Walking around, Felix is completely lost. He grows annoyed and finally finds a sign that points to the Administrative Office. Entering, he approaches the front desk.

“Felix Lee, new student,” Felix comments with a rude tone. He’s annoyed.

“And, what do you want?” The beta woman stops filing her nails to look at Felix. The omega does not like her tone.

“For you to not be such a bitch for one,” Felix starts in on her.

“Excuse me?” She stands up.

“You fucking heard me…” Felix is cut off when he smells an alpha. The scent hits him like a freight train and Felix wants to bottle up the scent and roll around in it. Turning over his shoulder, Felix’s breath hitches.

There’s an alpha standing behind him with silver-dyed hair that is pinned up and into a bun. He has blue contacts, is a few inches taller than Felix, and has broad shoulders but still a slim-muscular build.

Felix wants to touch.

“I don’t think an omega should be talking like that, hmm?” The alpha laughs.

Felix blinks, his mind not processing any thoughts at the moment.

“I didn’t like her tone,” Felix responds to the hot alpha that smells like hot chocolate.

“My tone? You called me a bitch,” she hisses.

“Because you are, in fact, a bitch,” Felix deadpans. “I’m merely stating a fact.”

“I will have you suspended,” she slams her hands on the desk.

“Fucking try it, I dare you,” Felix responds.

“Just wait until I call the principal,” she warns.

“Do it,” Felix dares her. “I can cry on command and I’m incredibly cute. I’ll whip up some tears and make it seem like an old hag is bullying me on my first day. Who do you think will get the sympathy?”

Her face grows hot with anger and the alpha laughs, stepping close and leaning down so he is eye to eye with Felix.

“Freckles, cute,” the alpha grins. “But I need you to behave, okay? Martha, please assist him with his schedule and try to forget his attitude.” The alpha looks at Felix. “As for you, I want you to behave and apologize to Martha.”

The alpha leaves no room for negotiations.

“If I say no…” Felix challenges.

“I’m not asking, darling,” the alpha smiles and Felix shivers. The smile seems cold and dangerous. Felix swallows, looking down. He’s never felt nervous before but right now, Felix feels like he staring at the face of someone very dangerous.

“Martha, I’m sorry for being rude,” Felix apologizes. “Can I please have my schedule?”

“Yes, Mr. Lee, and thank you for apologizing,” Martha smiles as if the whole incident is now forgotten.

“Good boy,” the alpha pats Felix on the top of his head and leaves. Felix feels winded.

“Who was that?” Felix asks.

“Him? Someone you don’t want to get on his bad side,” Martha responds and Felix could already work that out for himself. “Here you go.”

She hands Felix everything he needs and the omega leaves the office. He heads to his first class, already sighing because he’s a few minutes late.

Knocking, Felix opens up the door and loud chatter ceases immediately.

“Fuck, he’s hot,” someone comments from the back.

“Language,” the teacher announces before giving his attention to Felix. “I’m Mr. Freedman, you must be Felix?”

“That would be me,” Felix sighs.

“Would you care to introduce yourself?” Mr. Freedman asks. Felix glares. No, I don’t want to fucking draw more attention to myself than I already am by being late and standing up here like a dumb ass. Felix thinks bitterly.

“I’m good,” Felix snorts.

Mr. Freedman sighs like he’s exhausted.

“Fine, find an empty seat,” Mr. Freedman gestures.

Felix quickly looks over the class and ignores the alphas whistling at him. The omega chooses to sit beside a friendly-looking omega.

“Hey, I’m Jisung,” the omega chirps.

“Hey, I’m Felix,” the new student grins.

“What class do you have next?” Jisung encounters. Just like that, Felix makes a new friend. The two talk nonstop the entire class and to their surprise, they share the next period together as well. Jisung informed Felix the school tends to put all omegas in similar classes to limit alpha interactions.

Felix does not have the same third period as Jisung but they do share the same lunch.

Meeting in the cafeteria, Felix gags as he sees the horrid school lunch. It’s greasy, unhealthy, and such a small portion. Felix vows to go grocery shopping so he can bring his own food.

Sitting down, Jisung joins them but Jisung’s food looks a lot better.

“Why does yours look good and mine looks like crap?” Felix pouts. Jisung laughs.

“Omegas get lesser food options because of biology blah blah, discrimination,” Jisung glares. “I always sneak into the alpha line.”

“This is bullshit,” Felix cusses.

All of a sudden the room gets cold and silent. There are harsh whispers and Jisung pales.

Felix smells the hot chocolate from before. He turns in his seat to see the alpha from before standing behind him.

“What did I tell you this morning about your language?” The alpha laughs with his eyes.

“You told me about my behavior,” Felix pouts. “You said nothing about my potty mouth.”

The alpha quirks a brow.

“I guess I’ll just have to reprimand you harsher next time then, hmm?” The alpha winks and walks off, a four-man entourage behind him.

“WHAT THE FUCK????” Jisung hisses and reaches over the table to slap Felix on the arm—repeatedly.

“Ouch, stop hitting me,” Felix frowns.

“How do you know Hyunjin? THE HYUNJIN?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Jisung screams.

“He found me this morning,” Felix comments. “I was being a tad bit naughty to the admin lady and he told me to be nice. I didn’t know his name, though.”

“Wow,” Jisung sits in disbelief.

“Well, who is he? Why is the whole café staring at me now?” Felix frowns.

Jisung moves to sit beside Felix.

“Do you see the short guy with muscles for days?” Jisung points to a table of five.

“Yes,” Felix nods.

“That’s Changbin,” Jisung explains. “Beside him is Chan, then there’s I.N., Lee Know, and finally, Hyunjin. Hyunjin is like the alpha of all alphas. His dad adopted all four people sitting beside Hyunjin so I guess you can say they are like step-siblings. They are all alphas, they do not talk to anyone but their crew, and they disappear on sunny days. Their rich father takes them out on like a yacht or something.”

“Fuck, I’m jealous,” Felix fake cries. “Tell me more about this Hyunjin. He’s fucking hot. Is he seeing anyone?”

“Hyunjin?” Jisung laughs. “Just forget it. Hyunjin is rumored to date only models. I also heard he has this on/off again thing with Lee Know.”

“Well, I’m as hot as a model and unlike some stupid alpha, he can actually knot me,” Felix smirks. The omega swears he can see Hyunjin laughing as if he can hear Felix.

Felix knows alphas have good hearing but there’s no way the alpha can hear Felix from across the room.

“Wow, delusional much?” An omega female approaches from behind and sneers.

“I’m sorry, did I ask for your fucking opinion?” Felix retorts.

“Listen here, bitch,” she leans in close. “You don’t want to make an enemy out of me and Hyunjin is my prey.”

“Wow, and I’m delusional?” Felix laughs. “You look like you have pimples on your ass and you smell like you haven’t seen soap and water in days. You look like something I found on the bottom of my shoe, once. Ugly and unrecognizable. Why the hell would I ever have to worry about you being my competition in anything but maybe a pie-eating contest? Lay off the carbs, sweetie.”

“I’ll fucking kill you,” she launches an attack and Felix stands up ready to smack a bitch. The next thing Felix knows, he’s being thrown over Hyunjin’s shoulder and his butt is being smacked.

Completely embarrassed, a shocked Felix is carried off like a fucking toddler.

Hyunjin brings them to an empty hallway and boxes Felix in by placing his arms above Felix’s head. Felix’s heart skips a beat again.

“I don’t care how hot you are, do not manhandle me,” Felix starts on a tangent. Hyunjin turns his head sideways.

“You are the rudest omega I’ve ever seen,” Hyunjin blinks.

“Yeah, well, tough shit,” Felix growls. “You slapped my ass.”

“Language,” Hyunjin tuts.

“I can say ass all I want,” Felix responds. “Ass, ass, ass, ass….” Felix gets silenced by a kiss.

It’s his first kiss.

Felix watches a lot of rom coms and this is the part of the movie where he melts into the kiss. Felix refuses to be dominated like this so he breaks out of the kiss and hisses.

“Don’t just go around kissing people,” Felix flushes red. He’s hot. Hyunjin’s eyes seem to flicker colors and Felix assumes it’s due to the contacts.

Hyunjin kisses him again and Felix folds. Apparently, he’s a weak-ass omega. Who knew?

Felix moans into the kiss and Hyunjin’s hands start mapping out Felix’s body. The omega pulls away again.

“Grr, stop kissing me,” Felix moves from the hold. “You stay back at least 10 feet at all times.”

Felix makes a cross with his fingers and the alpha laughs.

“Little omega, you’re supposed to be wearing scent blockers,” Hyunjin tuts. “I can hardly be blamed for wanting to get your scent on me some more.”

“My scent?” Felix frowns. “I am wearing scent blockers. I sprayed extra this morning.”

Hyunjin quirks a brow like he doesn’t believe the omega.

“And what about you?” Felix accuses. “You smell like hot chocolate.”

“You can smell my scent?” Hyunjin seems shocked.

“Of course, it’s very noticeable,” Felix nods.

Hyunjin blinks, backing away.

“You should join your friend for lunch,” Hyunjin dismisses.

“Well, did you eat yet?” Felix asks. “Jisung told me only the alphas get the good food. My lunch is shitty.”

Hyunjin blinks again, before walking off. No response.

“You rude son of a bitch,” Felix yells at the alpha's retreating form.

Sighing, Felix heads to the bathroom to get himself under control before heading back to the cafeteria. That damned alpha almost made him slick with his antics.

Arriving at the table there is a tray of delicious-looking food.

“What is this?” Felix sits down.

“Hyunjin put it on the table,” Jisung comments. “What the hell happened? You have to tell me everything after school. I mean it.”

Felix grins, nodding his head.

“I’ll be right back,” Felix stands up and approaches Hyunjin’s table.

Hyunjin leans back in his seat as his friends all glare at the bold omega.

“Thank you for my lunch, alpha,” Felix leans over and kisses Hyunjin’s cheek. Hyunjin snorts and Lee Know seems to be plotting Felix’s death. “You’re Lee Know, yes? I just kissed your man.”

Felix winks and walks off, he hears hissing behind him and turns around his shoulder to see Hyunjin, and I.N., laughing while the rest try to hold Lee Know back.

“You are wild,” Jisung shakes his head. “The whole school is going to be jealous of you.”

“Bring it on,” Felix declares with a grin. “But that alpha will be mine.”

Felix leaves his first day of school having his first kiss and making a new friend. As he starts his walk home, two alphas approach him.

“We heard from Ashley that you like slutting it up with alphas,” one of the alphas comments.

Felix sighs, placing his bookbag down on the ground. His father told him not to fight but dammit! Some things just cannot be helped.

“Did Ashley tell you this after I called her ugly and fat and said she had pimples on her ass?” Felix responds in exhaustion.

“You little bitch,” Ashley approaches. “They are going to fuck you up. I promised them after they beat you up they could have you.”

She smirks like she won something.

Felix blinks.

“So, let me get this right,” Felix reiterates. “You promised two alphas they could have their way with my body? You do know I’m the Sheriff’s son, right? And that what you did just now is illegal. I cannot wait to have you arrested.”

Ashley pales.

“Then, we’ll just kill you,” she sneers. Felix quirks a brow. He smells hot chocolate all of a sudden.

Fuck, does Hyunjin just lurk around? Felix thinks to himself.

“I’m sorry, I thought I heard someone threatening an omega,” Hyunjin appears.

Ashley pales and the two alphas run away. Hyunjin’s friend’s approach.

Felix whips up some tears because he’s a manipulator like that.

“She came out of nowhere,” Felix lies. He saw her a mile away. “She got two big alphas to surround me and threaten to do naughty things to my body.”

“Aww, you poor thing,” I.N. coos. Hyunjin glares at I.N., and I.N. seems to show his neck in submission. Felix wonders what the hierarchy here is considering they are all alphas.

“He…I didn’t mean…but…” Ashley stutters, starting to cry herself.

“Get lost,” Changbin orders. Ashley scrambles away.

Hyunjin looks at Felix.

“You can stop the fake crying now,” Hyunjin tells him.

Felix stops crying and glares.

“Why do you always show up?” Felix glares some more. “I could handle those two dumbasses with ease.”

“Oh?” Hyunjin looks amused, a playful grin on his face. “Come on then, try to punch me? If you can land a hit on me, I’ll drive you home.”

“Like I want to get in your murder vehicle?” Felix huffs. “But fine, I’ll play along.”

“Good and if I win, you have to be a proper omega,” Hyunjin responds.

Felix snorts.

“Even if I lose, that’s not happening,” Felix scoffs. “It takes a special alpha to be able to tame me.”

“I think he’s challenging you, Jinnie,” Changbin grins.

“It does sound that way,” Hyunjin agrees. “Alright then, little omega, come at me.”

Felix pulls out all his knowledge of Tae Kwon Do to take down the alpha. No hit lands. At all. Felix realizes he’s beyond out of his league. Panting, and upset, Felix plays dirty. He yanks Hyunjin down by the back of his neck and kisses the alpha while pawing at the alpha’s cock through his jeans.

Hyunjin grabs Felix’s ass and Felix punches the alpha in the gut.

Hyunjin laughs, pulling away.

“You cheated,” Hyunjin accuses.

“You never said I couldn’t cheat,” Felix shrugs.

“Whew, I need a cold shower,” I.N. comments. “Hyunjin, let's hurry this up. We have something to do tonight.”

“Right, I’ll meet you all at home,” Hyunjin decides as he makes eye contact with the omega. “I just lost a bet that I need to honor.”

“Well, don’t take too long,” Lee Know states. The alpha turns to look at Felix. “Just so we’re clear. That stunt you pulled at lunch won’t go over well if you try that shit again.”

Like earlier today, Felix feels fear for the first time. This alpha’s glare makes Felix show his neck in submission.

Something happens, and Felix looks up to see Hyunjin punching Lee Know in the face. Felix gasps.

“Make him submit again and you’ll deal with me,” Hyunjin warns. Lee Know sneers at Hyunjin but doesn’t respond, just leaves. The other three follow Lee Know and it leaves just the alpha and omega alone. “I’m sorry he did that.”

“No, I’ve been rude,” Felix apologizes. He feels thrown for a loop. His brain is foggy. Hyunjin’s pheromones are too strong and they might be triggering Felix’s heat. “I hate to ask but can you drive me home? I think between your pheromones and Lee Know’s aggression just now, my heat is early.”

Hyunjin’s eyes widen and he sniffs the air.

“Let’s go,” Hyunjin ushers Felix into his Land Rover and they pull away. “Put your address in my navigation.”

Felix leans forward and does as he is told.

“Are you okay?” Hyunjin asks.

“Yes, just getting brain fog,” Felix admits. “My heat will probably be here in the morning.”

“Do you…uh, have a partner?” Hyunjin asks.

“Nope,” Felix leans his head against the car window. “Despite my crude language, I am a virgin.”

“Now, that, I find hard to believe,” Hyunjin snorts.

Felix laughs.

“It’s true, you were my first kiss,” Felix shrugs.

Silence.

Felix chances looking over and sees an indescribable expression on Hyunjin’s face.

“I’m sorry,” Hyunjin finally states. “I should have asked permission.”

“I mean, yeah, it’s good practice to get consent,” Felix shrugs. “But I didn’t mind. It’s not like I was putting up a fight. Why did you kiss me?”

“You were being unruly,” Hyunjin comments. “I wanted to see if there was a way to shut you up.”

Felix laughs and Hyunjin begins to chuckle himself.

“I don’t know why the whole school is afraid of you,” Felix says mostly to himself. “You seem normal to me.”

“Well, no one really tries to get to know me,” Hyunjin shrugs. “They believe in rumors about me instead of approaching me.”

“Hard to approach with your guard dogs,” Felix points out.

“That didn’t stop you,” Hyunjin grins.

“Well, my fear levels are low because I’ve been trained to fight,” Felix admits. “But you and your friends scare me, if I’m being honest. I’ve never met alphas like you all before. I don’t know what it is but I feel like prey around you.”

“And, how does that make you feel?” Hyunjin asks.

He doesn’t seem to deny that he and his friends are different.

“Makes me feel small,” Felix responds.

“I hate to break it to you, but you are tiny as hell,” Hyunjin laughs. Felix reaches over and slaps the man’s arm. His arm is freezing.

“Fuck, you are freezing,” Felix grabs the man’s hand. “What the hell?”

“Low iron,” Hyunjin shrugs.

“Low iron, my ass, you have no iron in your body at all,” Felix removes his hand and side eyes Hyunjin all the way to his house.

Arriving, it’s now pouring down rain. Felix sighs.

“Hey, Hyunjin?” Felix looks at the alpha. “I might be pressing my luck but could you take me to the grocery store? My Dad works late hours and if I’m starting my heat I’ll need supplies.”

Hyunjin looks torn. Felix recalls Changbin telling Hyunjin he has something to do.

“If you can’t it’s okay, I know it’s getting late and such short notice,” Felix sighs.

“I do need to go,” Hyunjin looks apologetic. He takes out his phone. “What’s your number? I’ll send you a text, respond to it with a list of what you need and I’ll drop it off.”

“Are you…are you sure?” Felix hesitates.

“I wouldn’t offer if I was unsure,” Hyunjin tells him.

“Well, I’m not going to protest,” Felix rattles off his number and sees a text from the alpha. Felix saves it as Potential Alpha. Hyunjin sees this and snorts.

“Then, I’ll save you as Potential Rude Omega,” Hyunjin grins to himself and Felix glares.

“I’m not going to respond to that because I need groceries,” Felix tells him as he climbs out of the car. “But make no mistake, after I receive my groceries, I’ll bitch you out.”

Hyunjin laughs as Felix waves goodbye and heads inside the house.

He sits at the table and texts the alpha.

“It’s about damn time,” Jisung answers immediately. “Wait, let me go lay across my bed while I paint my nails. Hold on.” Rustling noises are heard. “Okay, you’re on speaker, now spill.”

“He kissed me in the hallway,” Felix blurts out. “I’m not talking about a quick one-off, I’m talking about a full-on make-out session.”

“Fuck, no way,” Jisung gasps. “That’s never been heard of before.”

“He said he could smell my pheromones,” Felix admits.

“Really? I couldn’t smell anything,” Jisung admits.

“See, that’s what I said,” Felix responds. “But he assured me he could smell me. He pinned me against the locker and just went for it. I was complete putty in his hands. First kiss and all.”

“Fuck, you are so lucky,” Jisung groans. “He’s so hot. I want to snog Chan like that, as well, but that alpha scares me.”

“Tell me about it,” Felix shivers. “Lee Know only glared at me and I submitted like some feeble omega. Hyunjin got so mad and punched Lee Know.”

“Fuck!” Jisung seems to be more shocked than Felix.

“He also drove me home,” Felix follows up on the gossip. “He promised to get me some groceries because I think his pheromones kick started my heat early.”

“Uh, if Chan had me pinned against the locker, kissing me, it would definitely trigger my heat,” Jisung laughs. “Hey, if you get in good with them, will you put in a good word with Chan for me?”

“Consider it done,” Felix agrees with ease. “I’m glad I ran into you today. How was your day?”

“It was good,” Jisung responds. “Oh, Felix, let me tell you what happened in last period…”

The two gossip for over an hour before hanging up. Felix starts feeling warm around seven, so he turns the air all the way down and warns his father he’s entering an early rut. His father is still at work, concerned, and asks a thousand questions on what triggered it. Felix lies and says it’s because of the new environment, leaving Hyunjin out of it completely.

Around eight, Hyunjin rings the doorbell. I.N. is with him. Like proper gentlemen, they wait for permission before they enter Felix’s home. They haul in bags, and bags, of groceries. The omega stares in shock, surprised the alpha actually went through with it.

“I honestly didn’t expect this, thank you,” Felix gives his appreciation. “Can I hug you?”

Hyunjin frowns.

“You smell good, I don’t think hugging me is a good idea right now,” Hyunjin warns and backs away.

“Oh?” Felix frowns. “I made sure to spray extra scent blockers, I’m sorry.”

I.N.’s eyes are wild and Felix feels that fear again.

Hyunjin whips around, pinning I.N. against the wall faster than Felix can blink.

“You said you would control yourself if I let you come with me,” Hyunjin seems to be warning I.N. against something. I.N. isn’t even paying attention to Hyunjin, but staring at Felix with unblinking eyes. Felix whines, feeling scared. “Dammit, Innie.”

Hyunjin growls and this seems to blink I.N. out of whatever daze he was in. The alpha flees the house and Hyunjin runs a hand through his hair.

“I’m sorry about him,” Hyunjin apologizes.

“He looked like he wanted to eat me,” Felix accuses. “He scared me.”

“I know, I’m sorry,” Hyunjin sighs. “Lock your doors after I leave and spray your house with scent blockers. I bought you some scent-blocking candles. Light them. Also,” Hyunjin takes off his shirt. “For your heat.”

Felix blushes.

“I was joking about the shirt,” Felix mumbles, not willing to give the shirt back.

“I’ll drop one off tomorrow morning after your Dad leaves for work,” Hyunjin explains. “Do you have a mom?”

“No, that slut is back in Australia,” Felix hisses.

Hyunjin looks like he wants to ask but doesn’t.

“Alright, I did get you some toys,” Hyunjin points out. “I’m not sure what you prefer so you got you different toys that resemble me.”

Hyunjin winks. He fucking winks.

Felix would be a complete dumbass to not try and secure this alpha. The omega approaches a cautious-looking alpha.

“How can I thank you?” Felix asks. “You’ve been a proper alpha all day. I know I’m a brat but you don’t seem to mind. I want to thank you.”

“And what is a virgin like you willing to do for me?” Hyunjin eyes Felix up and down. The omega feels like prey again.

“You seemed to take what you wanted from me, earlier, maybe I should do the same,” Felix tells the alpha.

“Hmm? And what is it that you want?” Hyunjin approaches, towering over the omega. He noses Felix’s scent gland and licks it. Felix shivers, feeling hot. He releases more pheromones. Hyunjin grips Felix’s waist as a warning. “Your danger levels are broken. You should never have invited me into your home.”

Hyunjin kisses Felix and the omega feels like he’s on fire. The alpha attacks Felix’s tongue with his own. He squeezes Felix’s hips before picking the omega up. Felix wraps his legs around the alpha’s waist and arms around the alpha’s neck as he gets placed on a countertop. Hyunjin boxes Felix in again, kissing the omega while spreading his pheromones.

Felix leans his head back, exposing his neck.

“Fuck,” Hyunjin flings away from the omega; his eyes flickering red. “I need to go, and never expose your neck to me again.”

Felix is panting and feels winded and confused.

Hyunjin leaves as quickly as he came and Felix is left with the ghost of lips against his own.

Felix’s heat starts at two in the morning; and Hyunjin is firmly on his mind.

Arriving at school, heat done, Felix groans as his father locks the door; preventing the omega from escaping the car.

“Now, I want the truth,” Mark looks at his son. “Where did the groceries come from? Why did you go into an early heat? And what alpha left his pheromones all over my house like he was staking his claim?”

Felix blushes.

“I already told you,” Felix tries to escape once more. Mark locks the doors and presses the LOCK ALL button, childproofing Felix from escaping. The omega cries on the inside.

“No, you lied and I played along,” Mark blinks.

Felix whips up some tears.

“That doesn’t work on me, you little sociopath,” Mark informs the omega. Felix glares, hissing at his father. “That also doesn’t work on me. Spill it.”

“I fucking hate cops,” Felix folds his arms over his chest. “Fine. FINE. So, I got into an argument with some alpha named Lee Know and an alpha Hyunjin stopped us and also drove me home. I complained about food so he bought me groceries. His friend was with him and I think he has issues or something, those were his pheromones he was spreading until Hyunjin stopped him.”

“Go on,” Mark gestures.

“Ugh,” Felix blushes even more. “Hyunjin gave me his shirt because I asked for it as a joke. A JOKE. He took me seriously and I just didn’t bother to give it back.”

“When you say Hyunjin, please don’t tell me you mean Hyunjin Hwang?” Mark groans.

“Possibly,” Felix side-eyes his father.

“Fuck, just my luck,” Mark sighs. “Everyone at the station says nothing but horrible things about that family.”

“Hyunjin has been nothing but nice to me,” Felix defends. “Also, you should not believe rumors. We believed the rumor that Mom was a saint. Ha. That turned out to be a big fat lie. People reveal themselves eventually. For now, I think I can trust him, so trust me. Okay? Besides, he may not even approach me today. So, don’t get it in your head something that isn’t anything.”

Mark sighs.

“Just…just be careful,” Mark unlocks the doors and Felix gets out.

“I always am,” Felix grins. He looks at the cloudy skies and glares. Felix is convinced the sun just doesn’t like Portland. That must be the only excuse for all the rain.

Huffing, Felix ignores onlookers whispering about him as he walks inside the building. Now, that he’s inside, he can finally take off his coat. If his father saw his outfit today, Felix would still be at home right now. There is no dress code for men, Felix read the school’s rules.

So, he’s wearing white cargo pants with a baby blue crop top that highlights his small waist and bare shoulders. He has on an LV necklace his aunt bought him and some matching LV shoes. His long blonde hair is in a ponytail, and he’s wearing light makeup.

Approaching the first period, he takes his seat and Jisung enters; freezing.

“Fuck, you look so hot,” Jisung admires. “Can you do my makeup on Saturday?”

“Of course,” Felix nods. “Going somewhere?”

“No, but we can head to the docks and find a party,” Jisung suggests.

“I’m down,” Felix grins.

There’s a knock on the door and Hyunjin appears in the doorway. There are still ten minutes before class starts. The alpha makes eye contact with Felix and approaches the omega.

“I had to make sure you weren’t causing any problems,” Hyunjin moves some hair out of Felix’s face. “Glad to see you’re back. Changbin told me you were causing a stir in the hallway. I’m guessing your outfit is the cause.”

“So, you came all the way here to scold me?” Felix pouts. “I look cute today. Look at my cute tummy.”

“Mhm,” Hyunjin eyes Felix up and down. He takes out a shirt from his backpack. “I see your stomach, and so can everyone else. Be good and put on this shirt.”

“If I say fuck you, how mad would you be?” Felix asks.

Hyunjin blinks.

Felix squirms in his seat.

The omega snatches the shirt.

Hyunjin waits and Felix sighs, putting it on.

“Now, be a good boy and keep it on all day,” Hyunjin warns.

“You’re not the boss of me,” Felix retorts. “The moment your back is turned, I’m taking the shirt off and I’m showing all of my stomach. Maybe even a nipple.”

“Do it and see if you don’t get punished,” Hyunjin smiles but it’s a smile that’s more of a warning than anything else. Felix grimaces. Not liking this turn of events. How dare Hyunjin try to tame Felix like this?

“Aren’t you late for class or something?” Felix glares.

“I will be,” Hyunjin shrugs. “Or I’ll just follow you around all day to ensure you behave.”

Felix pales.

“I’ll keep him honest,” Jisung chirps.

“Good, see to it that you do,” Hyunjin responds to Jisung. “What is your name?”

“I’m Jisung,” the omega answers.

“Well then, Jisung, make sure he’s not naughty, won’t you?” Hyunjin turns to leave.

“I will, I promise,” Jisung grins. Hyunjin winks at Felix and leaves.

The omega is left shocked in his seat as the whole class whispers about the encounter.

“Did that just fucking happen?” Felix hisses. “How dare he make me cover up like this?”

“Talk about possessive,” Jisung whistles. “He owns that ass.”

“Don’t encourage him,” Felix huffs. “This shirt is coming off.”

Felix takes it off and not even a second later, Hyunjin is in the doorway with a quirked brow. Felix blushes, putting the shirt back on and frowning. Hyunjin is gone.

“How the hell did he know?” Felix grumbles.

“Better leave it on,” Jisung grins. “Just think of it as wearing your alpha’s clothes.”

Felix feels hot and sinks down in his chair. Hyunjin will be the death of him, he swears.

It’s lunchtime and Felix has brought his lunch. Entering the cafeteria, Felix is going to sit with Jisung but Hyunjin is calling Felix over. Felix gestures for Jisung to join him and the two approach Hyunjin’s table that only seats five.

“You called me over but there are no seats,” Felix huffs.

Hyunjin pats his leg and Chan pats his leg, as well, while looking at Jisung.

Jisung blushes.

Felix blushes.

Both omegas sit on the alphas’ laps.

“What did you bring today?” Hyunjin asks.

“If you’re asking for some, I’ll turn feral,” Felix warns. “I eat a lot and I’m hungry.”

Hyunjin laughs.

“I ate before this so I’m good,” Hyunjin promises. “Now, explain to me what you made.”

It’s another command and Felix hates how happy his omega is at being bossed around by this alpha.

“I’m only answering you because I feel like it and not because you told me to,” Felix makes sure the alpha is aware.

Changbin snorts.

Lee Know glares.

Felix glares back.

“Can I fucking help you?” Felix asks.

“Lixie, calm down,” Jisung tells Felix. The omega huffs, puffing out his cheeks.

“Focus, please?” Hyunjin directs the omega back on to him.

“I made chicken salad,” Felix starts. “I put it on a croissant with some lettuce and tomato. It’s so fucking good, and no, I’m not sharing. I made homemade Kale chips and I have some celery, strawberries, and hummus with pita chips.”

“Sounds healthy,” Hyunjin responds.

“Well, some alpha only bought me healthy food items and completely ignored my request for junk food,” Felix responds.

“I have no idea who would do that,” Hyunjin grins. Felix glares. He turns his eyes to I.N.

“Next time, sneak me some junk food, please? Hyunjin doesn’t have to know,” Felix whispers like the table can’t hear him.

“Mhm, I can come over tonight, in fact,” I.N. stares. His staring is making Felix feel uncomfortable like maybe the alpha wants to eat Felix instead. And no, not in the fun, sexy, way, either. But in the Jeffrey Dahmer kind of way.

“I.N., do I need to warn you again?” Hyunjin’s demeanor changes in an instant. His aura is dominating.

“I feel like Hyunjin is the one who should properly feed me,” Felix tries to diffuse the tension. Felix looks over his shoulder. “You are the one acting like my alpha. If I’m going to be your omega then I need junk food. Sweets. I have a sweet tooth. I need sugar. Fats. Carbs.”

“And what do I get out of being your little errand boy?” Hyunjin noses Felix’s neck and the omega gets the urge to show his neck to the alpha, so he does. The table freezes.

“Well, what do you want?” Felix asks. “You seem a bit addicted to my neck, you can have at it.”

Hyunjin closes his eyes and Felix assumes the alpha is trying to calm himself down. Felix didn’t mean it in a sexy way but what’s done is done.

“I warned you about showing me your neck,” Hyunjin whispers in a harsh tone. Felix takes a massive bite out of his sandwich and quirks a brow. He shows his neck again.

Whatever sanity Hyunjin had; breaks. The alpha stands, taking Felix with him, food forgotten. They get to an empty classroom this time and Hyunjin locks the door.

“I ought to make you get on your knees,” the alpha states. “You don’t want to push me, I promise you.”

Felix shows his neck again, taunting the alpha.

Hyunjin kisses him harshly, laying Felix out on a desk. The alpha grinds their hips together and Felix moans.

“Wait, wait, I’m sorry,” Felix pants. “I talk shit but I don’t want to lose my virginity in a school classroom.”

“Who said anything about fucking?” Hyunjin kisses the omega again, nosing at Felix’s neck and inhaling. “I have a secret,” Hyunjin whispers. “If you can figure it out in a week, then I’ll be your alpha.”

“What?” Felix looks baffled. “Who said I want you as my alpha? You should want me as your omega.”

“One week, okay?” Hyunjin backs away; palming himself. “I won’t be able to hold back longer than a week, so I need you to pay attention.”

“Can I get a hint?” Felix asks.

“You got your hint in the car,” Hyunjin states.

The coldness. Hyunjin felt ice cold.

“Okay, one week,” Felix nods. “But Saturday, I want a date. You, me, Chan and Jisung. Deal?”

Hyunjin eyes Felix before walking back over to the omega and kissing him.

“Deal,” Hyunjin grins. “Come on, finish your lunch, and wait for me after school. I’ll take you to the grocery store then home.”

Felix bites on his bottom lip and nods.

“Okay,” Felix responds. He’s never felt more like an omega than he does around this alpha.

“That’s right, I’m home now so I can take it off,” Felix grins. He removes Hyunjin’s shirt and places it on the counter.

“Fuck,” Hyunjin’s eyes do a weird flicker thing like they are trying to change colors. Felix mentally notes this as another part of the secret. “I can’t wait until you learn my secret.”

“Then just tell me,” Felix pouts.

“Nope, you learning on your own is going to make this so much better,” Hyunjin promises. “Can I kiss you?”

“Since when have you ever asked permission?” Felix scoffs.

Hyunjin grins, connecting their lips.

Felix melts into the kiss like he did the first time they kissed. The kiss today turns a bit more heated. Felix feels warm and jumps in Hyunjin’s arms.

“Do you want to see my room?” Felix asks.

Hyunjin pulls away.

“I’m not going to fuck you until I’ve earned it,” Hyunjin tells the omega.

“Glad your willpower is stronger than mine,” Felix snorts. “I’m horny over here.”

“I can smell,” Hyunjin refers to Felix’s slick filling the air. “I want to take you right here and now. I’d have you shaking from back-to-back orgasms, but not yet. Patience.”

Felix feels dizzy from Hyunjin’s pheromones. Hyunjin rubs under Felix’s chin.

Felix purrs.

He glares at Hyunjin and hisses.

Hyunjin walks away and it’s not until the alpha leaves the driveway does Felix whisper…

“I’m not your omega,” Felix huffs. Angry with himself for the delayed response, due to being shocked.

He’ll teach Hyunjin a lesson. He promises.

Hiding in the school bathroom, before the bell rings, Felix takes off his pants to reveal a plaid skirt. He’s wearing a matching polo shirt that covers his stomach. Same hairstyle, and makeup, as yesterday. Checking the halls for the alpha, Felix bolts to his classroom and grins to himself. He’s also wearing a pair of red lace thongs.

“Oh, wow, Hyunjin is going to kill you,” Jisung wolf whistles.

Some alphas in the class stare, and a couple take out their phones to take pictures.

Felix presents to them with his middle finger.

The teacher still has not appeared yet when Lee Know walks by the classroom. He seems to freeze, walking back and glaring at Felix. The alpha stalks into the room. Whispers are heard.

Lee Know stops in front of Felix.

“Can you not dress like a slut for five seconds?” Lee Know gestures to Felix’s outfit. “What the hell is wrong with you? Are you that desperate for attention?”

“I can dress however I like,” Felix stands in order to glare at the alpha. “I’m all covered up like Hyunjin requested, so fuck off.”

“No, you look like a fucking slutty ass whore,” Lee Know shouts.

Felix slaps him.

The room freezes.

Felix pants in anger before grabbing his bag and shouldering Lee Know out of the way so he can walk past the alpha.

Felix wills himself not to cry. He’s not a slut, nor a whore. He’s nothing like his mother. Nothing.

The omega should be able to wear what he wants. He…he should be…he…

Lee Know catches up to him and turns the omega around so they are face to face. Felix has a face full of tears.

“I’m going to change, so leave me alone,” Felix tries to walk away.

“I’m sorry,” Lee Know apologizes. “I didn’t mean to make you cry.”

“I’m not crying,” Felix lies. He’s crying. “Just, just leave me alone.”

Felix leaves the school and Lee Know doesn’t go after him.

Felix throws on his pants and starts the walk home. It starts raining, naturally. His umbrella sitting at home.

Felix is about to call his dad when Hyunjin’s car pulls up. The alpha rolls down the window.

“Get in,” the alpha demands. Always with the fucking commands.

Felix gets in. The omega hugs his bag and Hyunjin stares at him.

“What?” Felix shrinks in on himself, not knowing why he’s being stared at.

“He really made you cry,” Hyunjin sounds like he’s in disbelief. He looks pissed.

“He called me a slut,” Felix whispers. Hyunjin’s eyes are wild. “My mom, she was cheating on my dad back when we were in Australia. There wasn’t an alpha she met she didn’t fuck. She was the true definition of a slut; a whore. No morals. I’m…I’m not like that. I like to dress how I dress but that doesn’t mean I have no morals. I’m not loose. I’m…I’m not like her.”

Felix hates feeling vulnerable; and weak. He hates it. However, he can’t help but bear all for this alpha.

Felix laughs and rubs his face on Hyunjin; secretly wiping his snotty nose on Hyunjin’s shirt.

“Lee Know wasn’t thinking when he said that,” Hyunjin explains. “I’m old school. I like for my omega to dress more conservatively. It’s just how I grew up. He was only looking out for me, but he didn’t mean any harm.”

“I don’t mind covering up more,” Felix agrees. “But it’s my decision. I like to show off my body sometimes. “I’m sorry you had to go through that,” Hyunjin kisses the top of Felix’s head. “Do you want to go back to school?”

“Can we go to my house?” Felix asks. “I want to show you my room. No sexy time I promise.”

Hyunjin laughs.

“I would be honored to see your room,” Hyunjin agrees. Felix climbs back into his own seat and Hyunjin takes them to Felix’s home.

Felix guides Hyunjin throughout the house and they end up in Felix’s room.

Felix loves his room. It’s all blue and white décor. Sitting on the edge of the bed, Felix pats the spot beside him. Hyunjin takes a seat. Felix gets up, grabbing his camera before going back to the bed.

“I do photography,” Felix explains. “It’s what I want to show you. I mainly take nature pictures because I go hiking a lot. Well, I used to. It’s always raining here.”

“These photos are gorgeous,” Hyunjin scrolls. “I feel like I’m on the trail with you. I feel happy, tired, angry, and all in between looking at them.”

“That’s right,” Felix grins.

“By my house is a trail with lots of trees, safe to walk in the rain,” Hyunjin tells the omega. “If you can find out my secret, we should go hiking together.”

“I’d like that,” Felix grins. “What are some things you like to do?”

“I do photography as well,” Hyunjin admits. “Also nature-based. I paint, also. I tend to paint flowers a lot but I can do people as well. Taught myself ages ago.”

“That’s actually amazing,” Felix gushes and leans back on the bed. Hyunjin falls back to join him. “I tried to do the paint with numbers and instead did a wall mural. I’ve never painted again.”

Hyunjin laughs.

“That’s because you are a naughty omega,” the alpha responds the omega.

“I am a bit naughty,” Felix agrees.

“Why did you learn to fight?” Hyunjin asks.

“No choice,” Felix admits. “I was always tiny, and pretty, for an omega. Some older alphas didn’t care if I was five or not. My dad made me learn how to defend myself. I guess my experience has made me aggressive in a way. Constantly seeing the worst in people, makes you defensive from the start.”

“That I can understand,” Hyunjin agrees. “I think mankind is inherently evil. Our nature is to be selfish. I’ve met more demons than I have angels.”

“How jaded we are,” Felix laughs and brushes his hand against Hyunjin’s; simply teasing his knuckles against Hyunjin’s. The alpha is cold but the touch makes Felix’s heart pound.

“Are you trying to hold my hand?” Hyunjin teases. The alpha picks up Felix’s tiny hand and kisses the back of it as he connects their fingers. “Your hand is so small. It’s actually really cute.”

Felix pouts.

“Do you ever want to go back home?” Hyunjin asks.

“No, my mom is in Australia, I’ll never want to go back,” Felix explains. “I do want to travel the world, however.”

“I’ve seen the world,” Hyunjin admits. “I’ve seen war, famine, slavery. I’ve seen too much.”

“You talk like you’re not a teenager,” Felix snorts.

“Maybe, maybe not,” Hyunjin winks.

Felix tries to process this information. Hyunjin may be older than he looks. He’s always cold. He’s possessive as fuck. He’s old-fashioned. Felix vows to find out Hyunjin’s secret by Saturday.

The two continue to talk. They talk about the stares, their futures, and just life. Their likes, and dislikes, and end up teasing each other for hours. Felix falls asleep around 4 in the afternoon and when he wakes up, Hyunjin is gone but left on his camera is a selfie of Hyunjin and a sleeping Felix.

The omega is so endeared he almost cries.

It’s Friday and the sun is finally out. Hyunjin is nowhere to be seen. Felix got a text stating their dad was taking them out to enjoy the sun. Felix adds this on to his list of shady ass things about Hyunjin.

“We didn’t plan on it,” Jisung looks at Felix.

“But we can, that sounds fun,” Felix shrugs. “I can do your makeup, Ji.”

“Oh yes, make me all pretty,” Jisung grins. “I can’t believe you got me a date with Chan tomorrow. Ugh, I feel so nauseous thinking about it.”

“Don’t be nervous,” Felix tells his friend. “Hanging out with Hyunjin has taught me that a lot of those rumors are bogus.”

“So, they don’t eat the souls of babies?” Seungmin jokes.

Felix bursts out laughing.

“I didn’t say all that,” Felix teases. “But seriously, they are good guys. I.N. scares the shit out of me but the rest are fine.”

“Okay, same,” Seungmin groans. “He looks like he wants me for dinner.”

“So, you get those vibes as well?” Felix whines. “It’s so creepy. He should not be allowed around other people.”

“Have you noticed; that they don’t eat?” Jisung whispers. “Hyunjin told us they eat before lunch, but when, where, and why?”

Felix’s eyes widen.

Hyunjin doesn’t eat. Hyunjin is always cold. Hyunjin is possessive. Hyunjin is older than he looks. It’s staring him right in the face and yet…

Felix jumps up, grabbing his stuff. His heart feels like it’s going to throb out of his chest.

“Felix, are you okay?” Jisung is concerned.

“Yes, I forgot I had to do something,” Felix lies. “Bowling alley tonight, I’ll be there. Ji, come pick me up and I’ll do your makeup at my house.”

“Okay,” Jisung looks unsure and Felix starts texting Hyunjing.

Felix shows his neck. It all makes sense now. Everything. Why Hyunjin fears Felix’s neck, why I.N. looks ready to devour people. It all makes sense.

“I warned you about your neck,” Hyunjin whispers.

“I trust you, Hyunjin,” Felix responds. “You drink blood. That’s what you eat.”

Hyunjin shows his fangs. He wants Felix to be scared, but the omega isn’t. Hyunjin has never looked more beautiful than he does with red eyes and fangs.

Hyunjin sinks his fangs into Felix’s neck and the omega gasps. Felix grabs the back of Hyunjin’s head as he starts to writhe on the bed. Pain mixed with pleasure. A torturously amazing feeling.

Hyunjin pulls away, blood dripping down his chin.

“Are you full?” Felix asks. Hyunjin nods, leaning down to lick over the wound he made so it can heal. “Tissue is on the dresser.”

Hyunjin gets off the bed to clean himself up before going back to where Felix is laid out.

“How do you feel?” Hyunjin asks.

“That’s the venom working,” Hyunjin explains. “That and loss of blood.”

“Fuck,” Felix palms himself. “Are we still taking it slow?”

Hyunjin laughs again and nods, leaning over for a kiss.

“I would like to take you on a date first,” Hyunjin states.

Felix groans. He never thought it would be so hard to lose his virginity. He’s cute as hell. This shit makes no sense.

“I feel like I should have so many questions,” Felix groans. “How old are you? When were you turned? What should I know about dating a vampire?”

Hyunjin drags Felix on top of him and Felix wiggles, getting comfortable.

“I’m 700,” Hyunjin explains. “710 to be exact.”

“Fuck, I’m dating an older guy,” Felix gasps. Hyunjin laughs.

“If I was 80 it would be weird, but once you pass 200 then it becomes sexy,” Hyunjin teases.

“Fuck, that’s true,” Felix gasps again.

“I was turned in Korea while walking home, no idea who turned me,” Hyunjin explains. “I met my Yungi, about 650 years ago and took on his last name of Hwang. He’s become like a father to me. We try to move around every 10 to 15 years. The younger we pretend to be, the longer we can stay in one place. Makeup helps.”

“Fuck, I didn’t think this through,” Felix stares at Hyunjin. “What if I fall in love with you and you leave me?”

“Baby,” Hyunjin holds Felix and kisses the side of his neck. “Do you really think I wouldn’t take you with me?” Hyunjin rubs Felix’s cheeks.

“Are you able to mate?” Felix asks.

“Yes,” Hyunjin nods. “I’ve never given an omega my bite before.”

“Well, if you ever give me your mating bite then I’ll want your vamp bite as well,” Felix pouts. “If we’re being tied together it’s going to be for life. I refuse to die and let you be all happy and move on. I’m sticking with you for eternity, so suck it.”

Hyunjin laughs and squeezes Felix tight, like he’s afraid if he doesn’t then he might lose the omega.

“We have plenty of time to decide,” Hyunjin informs the omega.

“Do we? Because I’ll start looking older than you in a couple of years and I’ll be damned if I’m the older one in this relationship.” Felix pokes the alpha in his chest.

“Just say the word,” Hyunjin whispers.

“Promise?” Felix asks. Hyunjin nods. “So, I.N.? Does he have issues with blood lust or something? The crazy fucker looks like he wants to eat me.”

“He wants to drain you,” Hyunjin agrees. “He used to be a ripper before we reformed him. He still has tendencies like an addict. And you, Felix…you smell so good. It’s hard for me to control myself and I have the best control out of all of us.”

“Why do I smell so good?” Felix asks.

“No idea, but it’s addictive,” Hyunjin explains. “Even right now, I want to drain you.”

“That would kill me, right?” Felix looks concerned.

“It would, which is why I won’t,” Hyunjin admits. “But when we kiss, the urge is stronger because you’re turned on.”

“It’s why you keep stopping us,” Felix realizes.

“Exactly,” Hyunjin nods. “I don’t want to hurt you. I am concerned, however, that you invited I.N. into your home.”

Felix pales.

“Wait, so you really can’t enter without permission?” Felix asks.

“Exactly,” Hyunjin sighs. “He shouldn’t cause you any problems but in case he does…”

The doorbell rings and Felix frowns.

“I’m not expecting Jisung until tonight,” Felix gets off the bed and Hyunjin holds him back. “Hyunjin?”

“I smell an alpha,” Hyunjin explains. “Smells like a wolf.”

Felix pales.

“Like a werewolf? They fucking exist, too?!?” Felix hisses.

Hyunjin nods, going down the stairs like he owns the house. He opens the door and Felix peers around the alpha and sees a hot guy. Like FUCK. He looks about Hyunjin’s height but wider due to a lot more muscle. He has short brown hair and his skin looks so tan and smooth.

Hyunjin slowly turns around to glare at Felix. The omega blushes, hiding behind his alpha.

“Why are you at my omega’s house?” Hyunjin asks the stranger.

“I’m San, new here,” the alpha introduces. “My dad and Felix’s dad work at the station together. I was told I could introduce myself to his cute little omega.”

San winks at Felix.

Felix blushes.

Hyunjin growls.

San growls.

Hyunjin shows his fangs.

Felix gets turned on.

Hyunjin turns to judge Felix.

Felix ignores the alpha.

“You’re not welcome here,” Hyunjin speaks for Felix. The omega wants to protest but decides to choose his battles wisely.

“Felix? Would you like for me to leave?” San ignores Hyunjin in favor of speaking to Felix.

“I was in the middle of something with my boyfriend so now isn’t really a good time,” Felix apologizes. “But you know where I live. We can link up some other time, like when my dad is home.”

“Right, unknown alpha,” San nods. “I’ll be back then. Bye for now.”

San winks at Felix and leaves. Felix frowns.

“I called you my boyfriend and he still winked at me,” Felix scrunches up his face. “I don’t think I like that alpha.”

Hyunjin grins.

“Don’t worry about him baby,” Hyunjin leads Felix to the couch. “Come on, let’s just watch some television so when your dad comes home he won’t think I’ve been defiling you all afternoon.”

“Fuck, was that an option?” Felix jokes.

“Language baby,” Hyunjin kisses the omega.

Felix leans into the alpha’s side as the alpha turns on a Netflix movie. Felix is asleep before he knows what hit him.

Chapter Text

Felix wakes up from his nap to Jisung calling and saying he’s on the way. Stretching, Felix sees Hyunjin is still watching Netflix.

“Do you want to come bowling with us?” Felix asks. “It’ll be night time so you shouldn’t have any problems.”

Hyunjin leans down and kisses the omega for no reason. Felix grins into the kiss, happy with the contact.

“Are you sure you want me to come?” Hyunjin asks. “Don’t you want to hang out with your friends?”

“I also want to show you off,” Felix grins. “The whole town seems to either fear you or want to fuck you, I want to show them that I got you first.”

“So, greedy,” Hyunjin tuts and this earns Felix another kiss.

“I want to tell Jisung about you guys,” Felix tells the alpha. “Can I? I trust him and he should really know Chan is a vampire before going on a date.”

“I can always erase his memory, so it’s fine,” Hyunjin shrugs.

“Wait, that’s an option?” Felix gasps. He pokes the alpha. “What else can you do?”

“I’m not a toy,” Hyunjin laughs. “But every vampire has something special about them. I can read minds. Lee Know can get glimpses of the future. Changbin is stronger than normal vampires. I.N. is faster than any vampire I’ve ever met. Then there’s Chan. His blood can heal people.”

“That’s amazing,” Felix is in awe. “So, if my dad ever gets shot, Chan’s blood can save him?”

“If we get your dad Chan’s blood in time, yes,” Hyunjin nods. “All vampires, however, can compel people and erase memories.”

“Fuck, I can’t wait to be a vamp,” Felix grins. “So, what are we going to tell people about us? I hate to be that guy but I’m being that guy.”

“Well, I’m willing to go at your pace,” Hyunjin responds.

“Bullshit, if you were going at my pace I would have been fucked by now,” Felix challenges.

“Don’t tempt me, I’m trying to be a respectable alpha,” Hyunjin warns.

Felix pouts.

“I don’t want you to respect me, I want you to fuck me,” Felix complains.

“Such a brat,” Hyunjin tuts.

“Fine,” Felix sighs. “I want to claim you as my boyfriend, but not my alpha just yet. I feel like we need to get to know each other more first.”

“Fine by me,” Hyunjin kisses Felix again and the omega melts into the kiss. Felix climbs in Hyunjin’s lap and the alpha attacks Felix’s neck, biting the omega to draw blood. Hyunjin sucks for only a minute before sealing up the wound again.

“Fuck, your mouth dripping blood is so hot,” Felix groans.

Hyunjin kisses Felix and the omega tastes nothing but metallic and blood. Felix wants to grind their hips together but they are both covered in blood and Jisung is on the way over. Sighing, Felix reluctantly gets up.

“We should clean up before Jisung arrives,” Felix heads to the kitchen. His phone rings on the couch. “Hyunjin, can you answer, please?”

“Sure,” Hyunjin yells back. “Hello? Yes, Felix is here. He’s in the kitchen washing his hands so I picked up for him. I’m Hyunjin Hwang, sir.”

“Jinnie, who is it?” Felix walks to the living room and sees Hyunjin blinking at the phone.

“Your dad,” Hyunjin answers.

“Ah, well what does he want?” Felix huffs.

Hyunjin laughs.

“He says no alphas in the house and he has to spend the night at the station,” Hyunjin responds.

Felix grabs the phone and puts it on speaker.

“How do you even know he’s an alpha?” Felix pouts.

“Felix Yongbok Lee,” Mark warns.

“Damn, the whole government name?” Felix hisses into the phone.

“Stop hissing at me,” Mark responds. “And no alphas while I’m not home.”

“It’s not like we’re fucking,” Felix responds. “Trust me, I’ve tried and he’s turned me down. Apparently, he wants to get to know me first. What kind of shit is that?”

Silence.

“Deep breaths,” Felix tells his father. “Try not to pop a vein, old man.”

“You stress me the hell out,” Mark shouts.

“Are you at least eating dinner?” Felix ignores the man. “Real food, Dad. Not junk food.”

Silence.

“I’m stopping by the station with food,” Felix decides. “Jisung is on the way over and the three of us are going bowling. I’ll bring you some real dinner on the way to the bowling alley.”

“It’s not safe out,” Mark sighs.

“I’ll be with Hyunjin, Dad, trust me I’ll be safe,” Felix brags. “He’s a strong alpha and my boyfriend. He won’t let anyone hurt me, right Hyunjin?”

“You’ve been here all of two weeks, how the hell do you have a boyfriend?” Mark judges.

“Because I’m cute,” Felix grins.

“Your son is, indeed, very cute,” Hyunjin responds.

“I’m tired,” Mark hangs up.

Felix laughs and goes back to the kitchen to finish cleaning the blood off his mouth. Hyunjin joins, cleaning up well.

“I’m going to take a shower,” Felix explains. “If Jisung comes, please let him in for me.”

“Okay,” Hyunjin sits at the table, bringing out his phone.

“Do you need any more blood before I shower?” Felix takes off his shirt.

Hyunjin eyes the naked torso and his fangs descend without permission. Felix laughs.

“I’m glad I knew about vampires before I got naked around you,” Felix teases.

“This is why I warned you that you needed to know my secret,” Hyunjin simply states. “You make me lose control.”

“Fuck, are you sure you can’t just finger me?” Felix bargains.

“Not without fucking you,” Hyunjin shakes his head.

Felix fake cries.

“Well, yes or no about more blood?” Felix asks.

“I’ll take a little bit more,” Hyunjin approaches, wrapping his cool hands around Felix’s waist. Felix feels warm as his breath hitches. Hyunjin’s hand roams up and down Felix’s back as the alpha sinks his fangs into Felix’s neck for the third time.

Felix leans his head back and moans while Hyunjin takes his fill. The alpha pulls away, going to clean up after licking the wound. Felix proceeds to go upstairs and jerk himself off while showering.

By the time Felix is clean, Hyunjin is sitting on the bed while scrolling on his phone and Jisung is spinning around in Felix’s office chair.

“Hey Lix, can I borrow an outfit?” Jisung asks. “Your clothes are so cute.”

“Of course, you can,” Felix agrees. He drops his towel and walks his naked ass to his closet.

“I know you’re a damn lie,” Hyunjin is up in an instant, placing the towel back around Felix’s waist.

“Oh, come on,” Felix whines. “Why do I have to be modest around my own boyfriend? And Jisung is an omega.”

“You need to be modest around me so I don’t bite you,” Hyunjin deadpans.

“I learned about vampires,” Jisung grins while giving a thumbs up. “Somehow I’m even more afraid of I.N. now than I was before.”

“Okay, same,” Felix laughs.

“He’s not that bad, I promise,” Hyunjin laughs.

“I’m calling bullshit,” Felix snorts.

Hyunjin slaps Felix on the ass.

“Language,” Hyunjin tells the omega.

“I’m not seeing an incentive to behave,” Felix quirks a brow. “Shit, shit, shit.”

Hyunjin grabs Felix’s jaw, forcing the omega’s mouth open and sticking his tongue inside. Felix moans, legs feeling weak.

“Unless you want your friend to see you get fucked, I suggest you behave,” Hyunjin warns.

“He can join me for all I care,” Felix snorts.

“Oh my,” Jisung blushes.

“Find him an outfit and behave,” Hyunjin commands. Always with the damn commands. Felix listens, only because he wants to and not because Hyunjin is telling him to.

“Fine,” Felix huffs. Felix can feel slick start to form. Hyunjin sniffs the air and his eyes flicker red. “It’s not my fault I’m turned on. Don’t glare at me.”

The omega pouts.

“You are the definition of temptation,” Hyunjin goes back to sitting on the bed.

Felix shuffles through his closet and hands Jisung a black crop top and some black jeans. He pairs it with some jewelry he has lying around.

“Let me do your makeup before we get dressed,” Felix tells the omega. He gives Jisung a light makeup treatment, finishing it off with some gloss. “Cute, Ji.”

Jisung looks in the mirror.

“I love it, Felix, thank you,” Jisung grins.

Felix heads to his closet to choose an outfit for himself. Knowing he has a boyfriend now; he dresses more reserved. He chooses a pair of white leggings to show off his bubble butt. He pairs it with a purple V-neck shirt and some silver accessories. He does his own makeup and pins his hair up at the sides.

“You look gorgeous,” Hyunjin comments. “But why is your shirt so short? I can see your ass.”

“Hell yes, I can,” Jisung slaps it and watches as it jiggles.

“Oh, come on, give me a break,” Felix pouts. “I dressed conservatively for you.”

“I appreciate that,” Hyunjin gets off the bed and holds Felix by the waist. “I’m just possessive is all. I don’t want anyone finding you attractive, or trying to take you from me.”

“As is,” Felix snorts. “I’ve secured a hottie. I’m set for life.”

Jisung grins.

“Alright, I just need to make my dad some food and then I’m ready,” Felix informs the two. The three head downstairs and Felix whips up some stir fry for his father with a steak. He adds a lot of snacks as well, not knowing how long the man will have to be at the station and if he needs to share his food.

“Okay, I’m driving,” Hyunjin informs the three of them. Felix sits up front and Jisung climbs in the back. Hyunjin takes them to the Sheriff’s station.

“My dad will probably want to meet you,” Felix tells the alpha. “You as well, Ji.”

“Okay,” Jisung agrees. Hyunjin looks like he’d rather be anywhere but meeting Felix’s father.

Walking into the Sheriff’s station, Felix greets his dad in the man’s private office.

“Hey Dad, I made you a ton of food,” Felix places the bag of food on the desk. “This is Hyunjin, my boyfriend. This is Jisung, my friend from school.”

“Hello, Mr. Lee,” Hyunjin greets.

“Hey, Felix’s dad,” Jisung chirps.

Mark sighs.

“So, you’re the infamous Hyunjin Hwang, huh? People don’t like your family much,” Mark states.

Felix frowns.

Mark sighs.

“But, as my son has informed me I shouldn’t listen to rumors,” Mark extends his hand. Hyunjin shakes it. “A bit on the cold side, huh?”

“I was hot, so he had the car freezing,” Jisung lies.

“Ah, I see,” Mark nods.

“I appreciate that you are willing to give me a chance,” Hyunjin tells the man. “I’ll treat Felix very well, that I can promise.”

“I have no doubts about that,” Mark nods. “Felix can stand up for himself. He won’t allow anyone to disrespect him.”

“Trust me I know,” Hyunjin sighs. “He gets into it with alphas all the time.”

“Yeah, but Lix always handles his own like when he slapped Lee Know,” Jisung brags.

Mark raises a brow and Felix grows quiet.

“Felix? What did I tell you about fighting?” Mark sounds disappointed.

“Don’t be mad, Mr. Lee,” Jisung defends. “That alpha called Felix a slut in front of the whole class because Felix was wearing a skirt.”

“Ji…” Felix shakes his head and Jisung closes his mouth.

Mark eyes Felix.

“He didn’t mean it,” Hyunjin interrupts. “He apologized to Felix and everything. Lee Know is my brother. He really didn’t mean it.”

“But that doesn’t change the fact that he said it,” Mark huffs. He’s upset. Felix knows he’s upset.

“I’m fine Dad,” Felix lies.

“You suck at lying,” Mark informs the omega.

“No, I’m good at lying, you are just too insane of a cop,” Felix responds. Mark gives a small smile. “Alright, we need to get going. Why are you staying overnight?”

“This doesn’t leave this room but in a few towns over, bodies are turning up without blood but no puncture wound,” Mark admits. “We have the CDC quarantining the area to see if it’s some unknown disease.”

“Are animals missing?” Hyunjin asks.

“Sure are,” Mark nods. “Hunters are complaining about dead game all around the area. There may be a wild animal on the loose. A predator.”

Hyunjin looks worried.

“Dad, can I tell you something?” Felix sits down in the chair. Hyunjin looks ready to protest, but Felix gives him a private smile. “It sounds crazy but I think your killer might be a vampire. Jisung and I met one recently, but this one seems nice so maybe there are some that aren’t so nice.”

“Felix now is not the time for…” Mark stops talking.

“I’m not joking, Dad.”

Mark’s mouth opens.

“They exist, Mr. Lee,” Jisung nods. “They can lick a wound and it heals. If you examine their bodies for DNA I’m sure a foreign saliva with show up.”

“It’s true,” Hyunjin clears his throat. “Try and check the neck or the wrists.”

“You’ve seen one as well?” Mark asks.

“I have,” Hyunjin nods.

“Fuck me,” Mark gasps. “You three aren’t bullshitting me?”

“No Dad, I just want you safe,” Felix pleads.

“Mr. Lee, can I give you advice?” Hyunjin asks.

“Go for it,” Mark gestures.

“Don’t do any investigations at night,” Hyunjin warns. “From my research, vampires are stronger at night due to the pull of the moon. They are weaker in the sunlight. Avoid heavily forested areas, because trees provide a blocker from the sun’s UV rays. From what I know, either chopping their heads off or wooden bullets are the only things that kill them. If your murderer is a vampire, they may have gone feral so please be careful.”

Mark stares at Hyunjin and Felix anxiously stares at his father.

“Then I thank you for the advice,” Mark clears his throat. “Your information has probably saved lives already. I won’t tell anyone about the vampire business but I’ll keep my eyes open.”

“I know a man who has wooden bullets if you need them,” Hyunjin admits.

“Then I thank you in advance,” Mark extends his hand again and Hyunjin shakes it once more. “Your cold hands seem a bit unnatural. You wouldn’t happen to be one of these vampires would you?”

“Dad, we need to get going for bowling,” Felix interrupts. “I love you. Jisung might spend the night, okay? Hyunjin as well. If there is a killer on the loose, I don’t want to be alone.”

Mark seems to want to pursue the issue but doesn’t.

“I won’t ask again,” Mark looks at Hyunjin. “But you make sure to keep my boy safe, do you hear me? I don’t care if you have to kill someone to protect him. He does not get hurt.”

Hyunjin swallows, the implications clear.

“Yes sir,” Hyunjin bows and Mark nods. “One last advice. Don’t let a vampire get to your neck. If your neck is exposed, they will drain you in 6 minutes.”

Felix gives his dad a hug and the three tail off to the car.

“Your dad figured it out in seconds,” Jisung comments from the backseat.

“He’s good at what he does,” Felix agrees. “Hyunjin, you don’t think that vampire will come here, do you?”

Hyunjin eyes the omega briefly before sighing.

“They might,” Hyunjin admits. “I’ll warn my family and have them keep their eyes out for any trouble or patterns.”

“And my dad?” Felix asks. “What happens if a vampire attacks him? Drains him?”

“As long as your dad dies with vampire blood in his system, he’ll turn into a vampire,” Hyunjin admits.

“I don’t think I can lose my dad, Hyunjin,” Felix leans his head against the window. “I don’t like this one bit.”

Hyunjin reaches over and connects their fingers.

“I have a vampire friend I trust, Wooyoung, I’ll have him move to town and join the force,” Hyunjin tells Felix. “He’s almost a thousand years of age so the sun doesn’t weaken him like it does us.”

“You’ll do that for me?” Felix asks.

“I’m starting to realize there’s not much I wouldn’t do,” Hyunjin snorts.

Felix grins, feeling special.

“Fuck, I’m single,” Jisung groans from the backseat. Felix laughs, looking forward to bowling tonight.

“Jinnie, so help me, if you make me wear that hideous jacket, I’m going feral,” Felix warns.

Jisung laughs, along with Seungmin.

Hyunjin ignores the complaint and wraps it around Felix’s waist.

“Gah, you did it anyway,” Felix stomps his foot.

“You can stomp your tiny foot all you want,” Hyunjin states; unnerved. “Your ass is causing attention to you and if one more alpha makes a crude comment, I’m going feral.”

Felix hisses.

“I ought to throw this bowling ball at your fucking head,” Felix sneers.

“Do it, I’ll catch it,” Hyunjin promises. “Also, watch your language.”

“No, I refuse to watch my language,” Felix pouts. “You can’t control me. I’ll say fuck if I want to say fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.”

Hyunjin’s left eye twitches and Felix avoids eye contact.

“Are you being naughty on purpose?” Hyunjin inquires.

“The jacket is ugly,” Felix whines.

“It’s not so bad, Lix,” Jisung offers.

“Then you wear it,” Felix suggests.

“Hell no,” Jisung shivers.

Felix glares at Hyunjin.

“Glare all you want,” Hyunjin shrugs. “Your ass is way too exposed. Should not have worn leggings.”

“Fuck, what do you want me to wear? A trash bag?” Felix glares.

“Is that an option?” Hyunjin gasps.

“That’s it, I’m going feral,” Felix warns.

Seungmin laughs and takes off his own black jacket.

“Here Felix,” the beta offers. “My jacket is all black.”

“Thank you,” Felix sighs. He flings Hyunjin’s ugly ass jacket far away before wrapping Seungmin’s around his waist. “At least now I’m not hideous.”

“I know damn well you didn’t just toss my jacket,” Hyunjin states.

Felix pales.

“It’s my turn to bowl,” Felix rushes to the bowling lane, only to get thrown over Hyunjin’s shoulder. “No, now I’m getting punished.”

Felix fake cries as he’s carried off to the bathroom.

Feeling like a scolded pup, Felix waits to be yelled at.

Hyunjin takes a deep sigh.

“I’m not trying to be controlling,” Hyunjin calms his tone. “I can hear thoughts, remember? I don’t like what they are saying about you. I just…I saw how hurt you looked when Lee Know made that comment. I don’t ever want to see that expression on your face again.”

Felix gets it, he does.

“Okay,” Felix tightens the jacket around his waist. “I’ll be more careful, I promise. I just don’t like being told what to do and I don’t like that I have to monitor myself because other people can’t control themselves.”

“I get that,” Hyunjin kisses the omega. “You can take the jacket off, you’re right. You’re allowed to be naked if you want without anyone saying or doing anything to you. I’m just old-fashioned and my way of thinking is behind in the times. I’m sorry if I’ve offended you.”

“You haven’t,” Felix rushes to say. “Thank you for looking out for me. I’ll keep on the jacket.”

“Okay,” Hyunjin grins and the two walk back to the bowling area.

“Nice and punished?” Jisung teases.

Felix provides Jisung with his middle finger.

“Need more punishment?” Hyunjin wraps his arms around Felix’s waist from behind and kisses the omega’s neck.

“Mhm, punish me with kisses,” Felix turns in Hyunjin’s arms and the alpha kisses him.

“Wow, being single is amazing,” Jisung deadpans. “Oh, and I bowled you a gutter ball both times.”

Jisung blows Felix a kiss and the omega hisses.

“You fucked up my winning average,” Felix fake cries.

Hyunjin’s hold on Felix tightens and the omega frowns at the alpha. Hyunjin is looking at someone five lanes away.

“Felix, Jisung, let’s go,” Hyunjin demands.

“But we’re not done…” Felix sees the look Hyunjin is giving and nods. “Okay.”

“Sorry, Minnie, we have to go,” Jisung apologizes. Felix hands the beta his jacket back. 

“Oh? Well, that’s okay, my friend's text and are three minutes away,” Seungmin informs the trio. “Drive safe.”

“Bye, bye,” Jisung chirps and Felix lets Hyunjin get their shoes and walk them to the car.

The alpha is on edge and Felix frowns.

“What’s wrong?” Felix asks.

“There were four alphas talking about what they planned to do to the two of you,” Hyunjin explains. “I was losing control, almost dropped my fangs. It was disgusting. They were disgusting.”

Hyunjin’s hold on the steering wheel tightens.

“It’s okay now,” Felix rubs the alpha’s thigh. “How about I suck you off?”

“Wow, you really went for it,” Jisung laughs from the backseat.

“Have you ever given head before?” Hyunjin asks.

Candles light up the room.

“And I saw a post of you in a very nice designer outfit. I was told it's Louis Vuitton,” The woman starts. “I was calling because if your father has come into some money, since the divorce, I deserve half and…”

Felix hangs up and blocks the number. He’s seething.

“That fucking cunt!” He shouts.

“Language, baby.” Hyunjin taps Felix on the thigh.

“Fuck my language.” Felix pouts. “I hate her.”

“Hate is a strong word,” Hyunjin responds.

“I know, it’s why I used it.” Felix pouts.

“Mark, any words of wisdom?” Hyunjin looks to the man.

Mark sighs.

“She’s put our family through a lot.” Mark settles on saying.

“And apparently she wants your money now, Jinnie.” Felix hisses. “I’m so angry at her.”

“Don’t allow people who don’t matter to occupy your mind.” Hyunjin kisses the side of Felix’s head. “Come on baby, help me beat your dad in UNO.”

Felix sniffs, wanting to berate his mother again. However, Hyunjin is now releasing pheromones and Felix feels calm all over.

“Okay, I’ll play with you.” Felix grins. “How about you distract my dad and I’ll look at his cards,” Felix whispers.

Mark laughs and Hyunjin looks at the omega with a fond expression on his face.

“Hey Felix?” Hyunjin leans in so only Felix can hear. “I’m falling in love with you.”

Hyunjin pulls away and Felix starts crying.

This amazing alpha is actually falling in love with Felix? The omega can’t believe it. They’ve only known each other for almost four months and Hyunjin is in love. Felix somehow feels like he doesn’t deserve it but he’ll take it because he feels the same.

“Me, too.” Felix cries and hits Hyunjin over and over again on his arm.

“Do I want to know?” Mark questions.

“Jinnie loves me, dad.” Felix cries harder and hides his face in between Hyunjin’s neck.

“Well, that’s good because I have vampire bullets now and if he didn’t, he’d be getting shot in the ass.” Mark jokes to ease the tension.

Felix laughs.

“Which cheek? Asking for a friend.” Felix jokes.

“Oh? Do you want to see me shot in the ass? Hmm? Hmm?” Hyunjin tickles the omega.

“Son, I guess now is a good time to have the talk.” Mark places the cards on the table.

“Too late Dad, I’m no longer a virgin.” Felix brags. “Hyunjin locked that down quickly.”

The alpha blushes.

“Not that talk,” Mark blushes. “I’m guessing you’ll mate and turn talk.”

“Oh!” Felix blushes as well. “Yes, that’s going to happen.”

“I only ask that you wait to turn until after graduation,” Mark suggests. “You graduate in 5 months. I’d like you to be a human for that. Then…whatever you want to do is all yours.”

“You mean it?” Felix questions the man.

“You have my blessing.” Mark nods. “I only ask that I be allowed to turn as well if I so choose to.”

“Of course, sir.” Hyunjin nods. “My dad can do it so you won’t feel weird about being bitten by me.”

“I would appreciate that.” Mark agrees.

They spend the rest of the day pretending to not see Felix cheating at UNO.

It’s now Monday and Felix is still basking from being told he’s loved, so he skips school to spend the day with his alpha. He’s now on the couch in Hyunjin’s living room watching Netflix.

“Jin, are you home with Felix?” Mr. Hwang comes into view. Felix startles, the first time meeting the man. He’s taller than Hyunjin with sharper facial features and long black hair. “Hello, Mr. Lee.”

“Hi, Mr. Hwang.” Felix waves.

“And why are you skipping?” The man asks. Felix squirms.

“Um, I’m just feeling needy today,” Felix admits.

“I see, then I’ll give you two some privacy.” Mr. Hwang smiles before walking off.

“Fuck, he’s so scary,” Felix complains.

“Don’t be scared of my dad.” Hyunjin grins while holding Felix tighter. “Are you really feeling needy?”

“Yes, can you groom me?” Felix questions.

“Of course, baby,” Hyunjin grins. He kisses the side of Felix’s cheek before tapping the omega’s thigh so Felix can stand up. The alpha comes back with a nail kit and a napkin, allowing Felix to sit back on his lap.

Hyunjin starts with Felix’s nails, clipping them short while allowing the clippings to fall onto the napkin.

“Are these too short? Do your nails hurt?” Hyunjin asks.

“No, it’s perfect,” Felix responds. He wiggles his hands and Hyunjin grabs Felix’s right hand, bringing it to his lips in order to kiss it. Felix giggles.

“Alright, do you want your toes done as well?” Hyunjin questions.

Felix looks at his feet.

“My pedicure is still fresh, but thank you.” Felix leans back in the alpha’s hold, getting Hyunjin’s pheromones all over himself. “Can you wash my hair?”

“Yup, let’s go.”

Hyunjin washes Felix’s hair in the shower, ensuring the omega behaves himself from grabbing Hyunjin’s dick. Hyunjin lotions Felix from head to toe before putting Felix in one of his baggy shirts and blow-drying the omega’s hair. He then straightens it out, like how he knows his omega likes it.

“I’m thinking of going silver soon,” Felix comments as Hyunjin finishes up.

“That would look hot, maybe some piercings as well.” The alpha encourages.

Felix never thought about it but he likes the idea.

“I agree,” Felix nods.

“Alright, you are all done.” Hyunjin puts up the tools and joins Felix on the bed.

Felix wishes his nest was here. He’s nearing his heat and he wants it to smell like himself and Hyunjin. Also, Felix is feeling nervous because he has something he wants to ask Hyunjin. He can’t wait.

“What is it? You got all happy,” Hyunjin notices.

“Can I make a nest in here?” Felix asks. “I want a private place for my omega to roll around.”

Hyunjin seems startled and broken by the question. Felix laughs hysterically on the inside.

“Have at it, baby.” Hyunjin settles on saying. Felix gets off the bed and starts roaming around the room. He steals a blanket, some pillows, and some clothes, and sets up shop in the corner of the room. After an hour, the nest is perfect and Felix releases a massive wave of pheromones. He’s happy.

“You can enter if you want,” Felix encourages his alpha. Hyunjin nods, entering the nest and placing Felix on his lap. “My heat is in a couple of weeks,” Felix states. Hyunjin’s eyes widen.

“Am I allowed to spend it with you?” Hyunjin boldly asks.

Felix nods, blushing. He takes a few deep breaths, not able to say it out loud.

Grabbing his phone, Felix sends a text

Will you mate me?

Hyunjin frowns as he gets a text. He sees the text message and freezes, unblinking. The alpha’s mouth drops open before blood starts coming from his eyes. He’s crying. Felix panics.

“Mr. Hwang!” Felix shouts. The alpha is in the room within a second. “I don’t know what’s wrong.”

“Jin, listen to my voice, what happened?” Mr. Hwang gets on his knees and wipes Hyunjin’s eyes. He holds Hyunjin’s cheeks in his hands.

“Felix wants me to mate him.” Hyunjin accuses.

Mr. Hwang grins, hugging his son.

“You can finally have a mate.” Mr. Hwang rubs Hyunjin’s back. “You’re startling your omega, though, so stop crying.”

Hyunjin finally notices a freaked-out Felix and kisses him.

“Yes, I’ll mate with you.” Hyunjin sniffles before getting up to wash his face. Approaching Felix again, Mr. Hwang is long gone and Felix feels bashful. “Are you sure? We can wait. We have time.”

“I’m sure.” Felix holds Hyunjin’s hands. “I won’t regret choosing you and I won’t give up on life or us. I want this. My omega claimed you on day 1 in that admin office. You honestly didn’t even have a choice in the matter.”

Hyunjin grins, kissing the life out of the omega.

“As if I would want to give you up.” Hyunjin kisses Felix again. The omega moans into the kiss, feeling warm.

Felix climbs on Hyunjin’s lap, naked ass and all.

Hyunjin palms Felix’s ass, causing slick to build up. The omega has no idea who moves first, but an hour later, when he’s being knotted with zero regrets.

“You are glowing,” Jisung comments as he approaches Felix at their locker.

“That’s because Jinnie said he loves me Sunday,” Felix brags as he closes his locker.

“Shut the fuck up!” Jisung screams and hits Felix repeatedly on the arm. “Why didn’t you call me immediately?”

“Uh, I was pretty occupied,” Felix blushes.

“I bet you were.” Jisung smacks Felix’s ass.

“I still can’t believe he said it first, I’m dying, Ji, and he’s not here today because it’s too sunny.” Felix pouts and feels gutted. He wanted to stay in bed with Hyunjin all day but was forced to attend school by his father. Hyunjin is the only thing on Felix’s mind so there’s no point in being at school today.

“I’m so happy for you and I…” Jisung is cut off by a teenager walking up to them.

“Felix, right?” The guy asks. “San sent me to ask you if you are sure you don’t want to stay on the reservation. His dad was informed this morning that the uh…”

“It’s okay, Jisung knows,” Felix admits.

“Well, that vampire was spotted the town over, close to our border.” The guy finishes.

Felix pales.

“I wasn’t aware,” Felix admits. He looks at his phone and realizes it’s been on silent. He’s had several missed calls from his father and Wooyoung.

“Should we just go home?” Jisung asks. “Come on, I will walk with you.”

“Right.” Felix nods. “Thanks, for the warning. Tell San I said thanks as well.”

“Will do.” The alpha nods.

“Are you sure we should walk?” Felix asks Jisung as they head out of the school’s building.

“We won’t be safe at school, and your house is closer than mine.” Jisung shrugs. “Besides, didn’t that guy say that vampire is near the border? We have time if we hurry.”

“Right, let’s go.” Felix and Jisung leave school. Felix sends a text to his father explaining the situation. “Any development with you and Chan?”

“Gah, no.” Jisung blushes. “Friday night we came close to having sex but then my mom called me asking when I’ll be home and I felt like she just knew what I was about to do so I got embarrassed and couldn’t go through with it.”

“Aw, Ji.” Felix laughs. “Do you ever plan on telling them the truth?”

“Hell no,” Jisung snorts. “My parents aren’t understanding like your dad. They’ll throw me in a Christian camp claiming I’m worshipping the devil.”

“Yeah, the devil named Chan’s dick.” Felix jokes and Jisung laughs, not denying the claim.

Hyunjin calls.

“Hold that thought, Jisung.” Felix picks up. “Hey, baby.”

“Where are you?” Hyunjin asks. “I’m in my car.”

“Almost home, San’s friend told me about the vampire so Jisung and I are going to…” Felix stops talking and freezes. From the corner of his eye, he sees a vampire with the same expression I.N. wears all the time.

Jisung sees the same thing.

“Jinnie, I’m five minutes walking from my house,” Felix rushes to explain. “The vampire is here. He’s already found me. I have my knife on me but hurry.”

Felix tosses his phone and the vampire attacks. Felix gets pinned to the ground in a flash. He struggles to keep the fangs away from his neck. Jisung hits the vampire on the back with his bookbag, only to get flung away.

“Ji, stay down,” Felix yells. No way in hell will the omega watch his best friend die in front of him, trying to save him at that. Just, no. “Fuck off, you damn vamp.”

Felix finally gets a hand free and pulls out his knife. He slashes the vampire on the arm. It growls before screeching, using all of its force to keep descending. Felix kicks, thrashes, and slashes, but it’s no use. The vampire gets to his neck and it serves to piss the omega off. His neck is for Hyunjin only.

The vampire drinks. Felix fights less and less. He vaguely sees a group of vampires pulling the vamp off of him but then he blacks out.

Meanwhile, Hyunjin is now on the scene. He sees Wooyoung ripping the head off the vampire’s shoulders and ignores that in favor of cradling Felix on his lap. Blood is pouring from Felix’s neck, so he seals up the wound but Felix isn’t breathing. He starts crying, screaming for Chan.

Chan rushes over, giving as much of his blood to Felix as he can. But it’s sunny out and the alpha is already low on blood himself. Hyunjin would be a dick to demand Chan to drain himself to save Felix.

“Why isn’t it working?” Hyunjin shouts, knowing it’s not Chan’s fault.

Jisung is currently passed out but Hyunjin can hear him breathing so he’s not concerned.

Mark arrives in a squad car, rushing to his son.

“Mark, Chan needs more blood so he can save Felix,” Hyunjin shouts. “Please.”

“Yeah, of course.” Mark extends his wrist and Chan drinks for almost two minutes before draining himself some more. “I need to call an ambulance.”

“He’s not breathing,” Hyunjin whispers. “Chan, do something. He’s still not breathing.”

Chan looks frazzled.

“What am I supposed to do, Jin?” Chan asks.

“Make him breath again, dammit!” Hyunjin shouts. Chan has a look that says 'how' but he doesn't dare say it out loud. Hyunjin appreciates the silence. 

“Give it a minute,” Wooyoung is back, looking like he’s seen better days. “Fuck, that vampire was strong as fuck. Jin, Felix needs a couple of minutes before it works.”

Hyunjin sniffles, wiping his cheeks before nodding. He pats Felix’s hair and impatiently waits until five minutes passes and Felix is finally gasping for breath.

“Fuck!” Felix shouts. “Oh, that son of a bitch is dead. God dammit. He bit me hard as fuck. Shit, that hurt. Fuck. Wait until I…” Felix pauses, finally taking in the scene. Everyone surrounding him and crying. “Oh, God, is Jisung dead?”

Felix jumps up, rushing to his friend.

“No, you idiot, you were,” Mark shouts before hugging his son. Felix pauses, feeling numb.

“That asshole killed me?” Felix shouts. He sees a headless vampire lying on the ground.

“I need to burn the body.” Wooyoung kisses Felix on the cheek and disappears with the vampire.

“Jinnie?” Felix asks. His boyfriend has a face full of blood. “Oh, baby. I scared you, didn’t I? I’m sorry. I’m still kicking. I should have got a ride home. That was my fault. Don’t cry. I’m okay.”

Hyunjin nods, probably not trusting his voice right now. He hugs Felix and the omega rubs his back.

“Seriously, is Jisung okay?” Felix is worried. “The crazy fucker really took on that vampire for me. Got knocked down with one hit.”

“He’s fine, just unconscious.” Chan has Jisung in his lap now. “I’ll take him to my house until he wakes.”

Chan places Jisung in his car and drives off.

“Son, clean your face,” Mark tells Hyunjin. The alpha nods and uses his shirt to wipe away dried blood. “Kid, I need to get you to the hospital. You lost a lot of blood.”

“Okay,” Felix nods. “Hyunjin, you have a key to my house, so meet me in my room, alright? And thank you all for saving me. For coming right away. I’ll forever be thankful.”

Felix gets in the squad car and watches as Hyunjin waves them off.

Finally at home, Hyunjin is sitting at the kitchen table looking nervous. Mark joins him with a beer and Felix sits down as well.

“Do you want me gone?” Hyunjin asks Mark.

“That’s up to the kid, not me.” Mark points to Felix.

“Gone? What?” Felix feels alarmed. He goes to sit on Hyunjin’s lap. “Baby, why would I want you gone?”

“You got hurt because of me,” Hyunjin challenges.

“What? No, I got hurt because my scent is sweet and a feral vampire had no ability to control himself.” Felix explains. “I don’t blame you, or anyone else. His eyes…there was no life in them. He wasn’t present anymore. You could tell that he simply could not control himself. He was going on pure instinct, like a lifeless shell.”

“But…” Hyunjin argues.

“No, I’m firm on this.” Felix frowns. “You can command me any other time but this time I’m commanding you. Do not feel guilty. I do not blame you. Okay? I mean it. I’m so in love with you. I still want to mate with you. I want to be turned into a vampire. I want forever. You do not get to push me away. I am fine. I wasn’t even scared. I was pissed.”

“That’s my son.” Mark grins. “Kicking ass, even if it's against a vampire.”

“Damn right.” Felix grins. “I slashed the fucked out of his arm. He overpowered me but he does have a good 1,000 years on me so I’m using old age as an excuse.”

“I love you,” Hyunjin whispers. Felix blushes. It’s so embarrassing to hear it in front of his dad.

“Damn right, you do.” Felix sniffs.

“Language, baby.” Hyunjin laughs.

“You cannot tame me, I’ll say damn all I want.” Felix taunts. Hyunjin holds Felix tighter.

“I’m buying you a car tomorrow,” Hyunjin responds. Felix’s jaw drops.

“Like a vroom vroom?” Felix asks. Hyunjin laughs.

“Yes, as long as Mark is okay with you having one.” Hyunjin looks at the elder.

“I don’t have to buy it? You can buy him whatever you want. He’s all yours.” Mark points his beer at Hyunjin before taking a sip.

“What kind can I get?” Felix is happy. A car. His own car.

“Anything off the lot,” Hyunjin promises.

“Damn, rich daddy vibes.” Felix whistles. “Why so suddenly?”

“If you had a car, you could have driven somewhere safe,” Hyunjin explains. “I always want you safe.”

“Baby…” Felix feels so emotional. The alpha just exudes love and Felix’s omega soaks it all up. “Thank you.”

“Just so we’re open and honest…” Mark clears his throat. “As the father-in-law, am I awarded a gift as well or…”

Felix bursts out laughing.

“Way to milk my mate, dad.” Felix laughs. "What do you want, a dowry?" 

Hyunjin freezes.

“Mate,” Hyunjin whispers. “I’m your mate.”

“Mhm.” Felix nods.

“And as the father of said mate, my car is a little bit on the fritz and…” Mark jokes.

“I can buy you a new car and a new house.” Hyunjin offers.

“Sold, welcome to the family, son.” Mark doesn’t even blink. “Should I refer to Felix as Felix Hwang from now on? We can go to the court and sign papers.”

Felix looks at his father in disgust.

“You just pimped your son off for a house and a new car.” Felix shakes his head. “Have some decorum, old man.”

Mark simply winks.

“I would have settled for free beer but a win is a fucking win.” Mark laughs.

Hyunjin grins so wide, that Felix assumes the grin must be hurting the alpha’s face.

“Felix Hwang,” Hyunjin whispers. “You’ll be a Hwang, baby. My Hwang.”

“Yeah, Jinnie. I’m all yours.” Felix agrees. “I hate to admit it, but I think you’ve tamed the omega.”

“Really? Because I’m sure you’ve said damn and fuck like ten times since we’ve been here.” Hyunjin teases.

“You can’t have it all.” Felix shrugs and wraps his arms around the alpha’s neck.

The omega cannot wait for his future with the alpha. He’s so ready for what’s next.

Chapter Text

Felix is wearing his noise-cancelling headphones, that actually work against vampires. He, Jisung, Seungmin, and Mark are being led by Hyunjin somewhere secretly. Felix sniffs, smelling his daughter nearby, and grins.

“Alright, open your eyes,” Hyunjin says as he gives the signal for them to take off their headphones.

“Surprise! Happy Birthday!” The whole room erupts in cheers with confetti sprinkling from the ceiling. They are in a castle in Norway.

“What is all of this?” Felix grins.

“You four got turned into vampires exactly one thousand years ago, as of today,” Hyunjin states. He kisses his mate. “Are you surprised?”

“Of course, I am.” Felix hits Hyunjin on the shoulder.

It’s been a whirlwind of a time. On graduation day, Felix, and Mark decided to get turned. Jisung stated he would be devastated without Felix and Chan, so he turned. Seungmin, not caring otherwise, decided ‘fuck it’ and turned as well.

Jisung and Seungmin faked their own deaths, in an auto accident a year after turning so that all of them could move away without worrying. Jisung and Seungmin always sent their families anonymous money over the years until they slowly started to forget, then nothing at all.

As for Felix…well, his father refused to allow Felix to outlive him so turning wasn’t really an option for the elder. Not that Felix minds one bit. Having his father, mate, and best friends always around? It’s been paradise.  

Chan and Jisung never mated and now that Jisung can’t have heats, they never will. However, the two are exclusive and whenever Jisung goes out alone, Chan makes sure to leave a bite mark on Jisung’s neck to show the world the omega is off limits.

Seungmin has this off-again/on-again thing with both I.N. and Changbin and who is Felix to judge? As for Lee Know? Well, that alpha likes to pin Wooyoung down whenever they are in the same room together. Felix may or may not watch.

Speaking of Felix. He adopted a baby girl two years after turning. When she turned 17, she decided to turn into a vampire all on her own. She’s a gorgeous girl, with fire-red hair and emerald-green eyes. She’s taller than Felix but shorter than Hyunjin and is a beta.

“It’s been a thousand years and we still don’t have flying cars,” Jisung complains as he takes an offered blood bag. “I’m just saying, that’s bullshit.”

“Agreed, I feel like we’ve been promised flying cars for 2,000 years now, and nothing?” Seungmin frowns.

“Could you imagine people speeding in the air? Cars fail and crash to the ground, killing people. Cars running into buildings? The nightmare it would cause.” Felix shivers just thinking of it.

“Well, I for one, would like to give a toast to our latest thousand-year-old vamps,” Mr. Hwang raises his glass filled with blood. “My oldest son finally has a mate and a lifelong partner. A father could never ask for more.”

“I’ll drink to that,” Mark takes a sip of his blood.

“Baby,” Hyunjin turns to Felix. “We’ve been together for over a thousand years now. And I can’t wait to spend a thousand more with you.”

Hyunjin gets down on one knee and presents Felix with a massive ring.

“Will you renew our wedding vows? And every thousand years to come?” Hyunjin asks.

“Yes, Hyunjinnie, of course,” Felix wraps his arms around the alpha’s neck and kisses the man so hard the two of them topple to the ground. Felix laughs into the kiss. “I’ve loved you for a thousand years, and I’ll love you for a thousand more.”

“Quoting Chistina Perri to me?” Hyunjin laughs.

“Shush, you’re ruining the moment.” Felix grins into the kiss and remains in his alpha’s arms. Felix knew he made the right choice in falling in love with Hyunjin. Now he gets to be this happy for eternity.

“Alright, either fuck or stop being so in love, damn.” Jisung teases.

“Jealous?” Felix smirks, kissing his man.

“Nope, have you seen the cock on my alpha? He might be a broke bitch but he can swing that dick.” Jisung grins.

“Oh, eww. I try actively to not think of Chan’s dick. Thanks.” Felix groans.

Jisung attacks the omega.

“Who are you saying eww about? Huh, huh?” The omega tickles Felix.

“Eep. Jinnie save me.” Felix laughs, wiggling about on top of Hyunjin.

“Um, if you keep wiggling like this, everyone is going to see a show whether they like it or not,” Hyunjin warns.

Felix wiggles harder because Jisung increases his tickling.

“Fuck it, I warned you.” Hyunjin pins Felix to the floor and gets two fingers inside of his omega.

“Now this is a party.” Wooyoung cheers. “Lee Know, let’s join them.”

Lee Know attacks Wooyoung with a kiss.

Felix moans, praying his father doesn’t join in with Mr. Hwang.

“I’m down.” Jisung attacks Chan.

“Let’s do this.” Changbin, I.N., and Seungmin start making out.

“Parents are gross.” Their daughter, Abigail, runs off.

“I’m intrigued,” Mark shrugs looking at Mr. Hwang.

Felix pales but then Hyunjin enters inside the omega and Felix forgets his own name.

It’s a unique experience for them all.

Felix and Hyunjin renew their vows in Alaska.

The whole clan moves to Alaska for 6 months while it’s complete darkness. The vampires are the life of the party.

After the sunshine is there in Alaska, they move back to Norway.

Three years later, Felix adopts again. A beta son.

Twenty years later, Felix’s son turns. His son and Abigal leave to explore the world together.

500 years go by and Wooyoung grows tired. He asks Lee Know to kill him. Felix cries for two days straight.

The rest refuse to abandon Felix, promising the omega they’ll stay with him forever.

Time goes on, the world changes, wars happen, famine, and destruction, and Felix is there for it all with his mate, Hyunjin right by his side. He wouldn’t have it any other way.
