**Knoxville, Tennessee**
"You can't just 'take time off' out of nowhere, Chelsea! That's not how this job works!" Madeline snapped, looking down at Chelsea's two week notice for a year long break with disappointment. Chelsea kept her eyes trained on the white linoleum floor, wringing her hands. She'd hoped to get this task over and done with quickly, but of course her nurse manager had to make things difficult as always. Monitors beeped from patient rooms, other nurses pagers buzzed obnoxiously as doctors and colleagues needed their assistance, and Chelsea's scrubs felt dry and itchy against her skin.
"I know, but there weren't any guidelines on how to do it..." she rebounded meekly, referring to the employee portal on the website for the hospital she worked at. Madeline just huffed, slamming the papers down on the nursing station and storming off, before circling back around and shoving a perfectly manicured red nail into Chelsea's face.
"You have until the end of your shift to clean your locker out. And don't be surprised if it's filled with somebody else's things and you no longer have a job when you return next year." she said darkly.
Chelsea nodded, fumbling with her things clumsily as she hurriedly went back to caring for her patients for the three hours remaining of her shift.
Later that night she sat on her bed, paci tucked tightly between her lips and her Bambi stuffie sitting in her lap as she looked through the caregiver profiles on Meadows End's website. She was surprised to see how many mommies and daddies there were; some were listed as already having a little but wanting another, and some didn't have a little at all yet. She had her eye on a few caregivers already - a handsome blond named Stephen and a pretty brunette who's name was Gina - when she stumbled across a joint caregiving couple. She clicked on it curiously, getting distracted by the Bluey episode playing on her TV before glancing back at the computer. What she saw made almost made her spit her pacifier out. The couple was Jamie Dornan and Henry fucking Cavill - or, as she better knew them - Geralt of Rivia and Christian Grey. She read over their joint and personal profiles closely, butterflies swarming in her tummy when she saw that the men were everything she was looking for in a caregiver. They were fairly new to the community (having only moved in a few months prior) and were looking to "foster" and possibly "adopt" their first little. They were rather specific about what they wanted, but luckily Chelsea checked all the boxes. She was rather petite - standing at just 4 feet 9 inches - and loved the simple things like coloring and blowing bubbles. She wasn't a hard little to care for (at least, she didn't think she was) and she wasn't a picky eater. Chelsea hurriedly applied for the four caregivers she'd chosen, putting Jamie and Henry in her top 5 and adding a little note addressing just how bad she wanted to be placed with them before finally closing her laptop and allowing herself to try and get some sleep despite the excitement and hope burning in her core and swimming in her brain.
Chelsea spent the next day shopping for some new clothes that made her feel small and fit her aesthetic (most of her wardrobe was workout clothes and work uniforms) which she highly enjoyed. Per usual, the mall stressed her out but she just put her earbuds in and browsed through all the colorful clothes; she even treated herself to a few more expensive outfits and a nice lunch from the Sushi place across the street. By the time she was done shopping, she'd spent nearly $700 in clothes, yet she couldn't make herself feel guilty about it. She only even spent her money on the typical basic living expenses and had quite a bit in savings.
She went home and took a warm bath, enjoying the pink tint the bathbomb gave to the water, and excitedly went through her purchases and cut the tags off before putting everything in the washer. Her favorite finds were a pink sundress trimmed with lace, a button down cardigan with ducks on it, and a sparkly pink pacifier that she planned on bedazzling to add to her Melanie Martinez themed pacifier collection. After her evening routine was finished, Chelsea climbed into bed with her stuffie, popping her paci in her mouth as she scrolled through Amazon to find a movie to watch. Settling on Man of Steel - she told herself she was invested in the plot but she really just wanted to watch Henry Cavill prance around in his Superman suit - and ended up falling asleep within the first 15 minutes of the movie.

**Arizona - Meadows End Gated Community**
Jamie groaned as his phone rang, waking him from his nap. Henry lay still beside him, his chiseled face peaceful and his muscular body relaxed as he rested.
"Hello?" Jamie grunted softly, his voice laced with sleep.
"Hey, Jamie!" Marie's voice chirped through the line. Jamie sat up immediately, slapping Henry's bare chest to startle the actor awake.
"Oh my God hi! It's so good to hear from you!" Jamie exclaimed, putting Marie on speaker. She was the head of the social work department in Meadows End - and the mayor's wife.
"I've been swell, Mr. Dornan," Marie answered happily. Her voice was laced with calm excitement as she took a deep breath to continue what she'd called for. "Meadows End has a new arrival on Saturday, and her file seems to match what you and Henry are looking for perfectly. I was wondering, are you ready to give caregiving a go or are you two still settling in?"
Jamie's eyes widened excitedly as he looked at Henry pleadingly, wide cobalt blue eyes meeting slightly narrowed cerulean ones.
"What's the little's name?" Henry asked, yawning.
"Chelsea Havens. She's a 20 year old pediatric phlebotomist from Tennessee." Marie read directly from Chelsea's file. Henry hummed - much like Geralt - as Jamie nodded his head with an interested and curious "ah, okay...".
The conversation went on for another 10 minutes, the couple asking Marie about fostering requirements and formalities before eventually deciding to give the sweet sounding little a chance.
"Great!" Marie praised, pleased with Henry and Jamie's decision. "I'll have my assistant drop her folder off in about half an hour."
Half an hour later the doorbell rang, making Henry laugh as Jamie ran - still shirtless and almost sliding and falling on his face in his sock feet - to the door and yanked it open. He thanked Marie's assistant with a bright smile, practically shutting the door in the man's face as he scurried over to the kitchen island and opened the folder. A picture of what must've been Chelsea was pinned on the inside cover with a paperclip; Jamie and Henry stared at it silently. Chelsea was a tiny little thing; she was short and slightly curvy, with long wavy blond hair and big hazel green doe eyes. In the picture she was leaning against the counter of a doctor's office, wearing baby pink scrubs and holding a white hydroflask smiling softly at the camera. She definitely looked like somebody who worked with kids, and who tried to incorporate more childish things into her adult life - even if it only entailed wearing baby pink scrubs and walking around with a mini carebear keychain hanging from her badge.
"Damn," Henry said, looking through the file. Chelsea was everything he and Jamie were looking for in a little. She identified as an adult baby all the way up to around 5 years old, and enjoyed simple things. She was timid and shy, and was looking for a big that would be patient and help her explore her little side - a side of her that she had always been too afraid to explore in depth.
"She's perfect, Hen! Just look at her little face!" Jamie exclaimed. Henry chuckled, agreeing as he kissed Jamie's head.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .*・ 。゚ ─── Jamie stared at the variety of bedsheets and baby blankets, his brow furrowed. He couldn't decide what to get; Chelsea had listed The Aristocats, Bambi and The Little Mermaid as being her favorite movies (anything classic Disney, really) and stated that any sort of pastel color was her favorite. He eventually decided on a sage green sheet set for the crib, and Ariel themed baby blankets. He set them in the cart, smiling as Henry grabbed a pack of baby swaddling blankets for good measure. The couple grabbed a few more things for the little as a small welcome gift and headed for the checkout center. Setting up Chelsea's nursery had proven to be a bit more of a task that the couple thought it would be. They were building it from scratch (minus the crib, rocking chair, and changing table that were already there) and it wasn't going too well. Henry had decided he wanted a pink nursery - the classic coquette babygirl theme - while Jamie was hooked on an Under the Sea theme. They eventually settled on a pink room, since Jamie had chosen all the bedding and a few of Chelsea's outfits. The couple stepped back and admired the nursery once it was finished, excited to see what Chelsea thought of it when she arrived the next morning. Henry hugged Jamie from behind, wrapping his huge arms around the actor's waist and pressing a kiss to his shoulder. "You really think she'll like it here, with us?" Jamie asked softly. Henry froze, breathing in Joey's faint cologne and rocking the two of them from side to side. "I think she will, love. And if she doesn't, we'll do whatever we have to to ensure she does." The confidence in Henry's tone may have been enough to convince Jamie - seeing as he relaxed against Henry at the confirmation - but Henry's own doubts began to fill his mind and twist his stomach as he really thought about Jamie's question.
Would Chelsea be happy with them?
What if they scared her? Or she decided that being a little just wasn't for her based off of their first impression?
What if she didn't make any little friends, or got bullied?
Henry shook the thoughts from his head, bringing himself back to the moment and enjoying his lover's warm body pressed against his, though the stench of the still-drying paint made his head hurt a bit.
Dinner was less than eventful; Henry grilled steaks while Jamie made some green bean casserole and macaroni & cheese. They sat out on the deck to eat, talking over how best to approach their introduction to Chelsea tomorrow. Jamie watched the pool water ripple slowly in the light evening breeze as he went through every possible scenario that could happen. He decided to just be as gentle as he could possibly be, and be extra mindful of any boundaries Chelsea might have. There was a 50/50 chance she might show up already in little space, and Jamie was a bit nervous he might not catch it and treat her as if she were big.
"I think we should stay quiet and move slow. Her file said she was timid and startled easily to an extent." Henry suggested, chewing his food thoughtfully. Jamie nodded in agreement, chuckling as he gave Kal a little piece of steak. The dog pranced over to Henry next, wagging his tail and seemingly smiling up at Henry. The man chuckled, staring down at Kal's big puppy eyes for a moment before giving in and letting the dog have another piece of steak. Henry waved his fork at Kal, being mock serious.
"And you sir, better be on your best behavior tomorrow. No jumping on our guest and no roughhousing the baby!" he reprimanded, knowing Kal's tendency to gently roughhouse when Henry and Joey would play a boardgame or do a jigsaw puzzle on the floor. Kal only huffed, shaking his furry head before wandering out into the freshly mowed yard to find somewhere to go potty.
