Chapter Text

Today would be the day, the day Moonstone had dreamt of, the courage and anxiety ruled her head and body. She had feared this day but she also would be excited as today would be the day were she would be sharing her true feelings with her 'friend' Diary. . . . . . If it hadn't been obvious enough, Moonstone liked Diary. Though Moonstone wasn't sure if Diary was one to like girls, she acted to normal, unlike Moonstone. Diary just seemed.. So perfect! The way she talked, the way she talked, she was the girl of everyone's dreams.. Well not everyone, probably only Moonstones dreams as EVERYONE had a dislike or at worst hate to Diary. Expect Moonstone, Moonstone loved her like no one else did. . . You'd barely catch Diary without Moonstone by her side. They were like two pea's in a pos! Glued together! They wouldn't leave each-others side unless they HAD to. Moonstone followed Diary like a dog, not literally, but she followed Diary everywhere! Diary walked and Moonstone followed whilst they would shit talk the others. . . . But today Moonstone didn't care about the others, nor did she care about the challenge, all she cared about was telling Diary how she felt, about how she wanted to be feel loved by someone, not just someone, by Diary.. All that rushed through her mind was all different kinds of "What if?" questions. They'd make Moonstone doubt herself and the courage she had built up was slowly being eating by the doubt. . . . Diary always wrote her secrets inside of herself, she was a diary? Moonstone was always given the opportunity to read anything it, but she never did. She'd be too afraid to actually see what Diary saw her as, or id she thought of them as just friends, or maybe more. But this wouldn't stop her, she had to tell ATLEAST one of her friends before she did this. . . so who would she tell? Maybe Latte? She obviously couldn't trust feather with a secret like this . . Moonstone would get up with a bright smile on her face, but today she'd knock at team B's cabin, Latte would answer. "Huh.. Great its you." She sarcastically said rolling his eyes. "What are you doing here? Its so early and I could be doing WAY better things than talking to.. you." they said raising an eyebrow and sighing. "I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING SERIOUS." She anxiously said whilst casually picking her nose. "Ew thats actually digusting, but you MAY step a foot inside." Her face grew sickened at her picking her nose but stepped a foot back so she could come inside. "Your obviously aware about the me and Diary situation right?" She said attempting to make this as clear as possible "Duh, you guys need to hurry up and kiss, your the longest slow burn ever." They smirked basically knowing what Moostones gonna say.

"Im gonna go confess to Diary, TODAY."
She smiles brightly trying to not get hives from pressure.
Latte raised an eye, they were confused.
"Wait wait, YOUR? gonna confess?"
He stood there confused and questioned.
"Yeah!"
She smiled actually being excited about this.
"Well.. you do you? Now get out."
They pointed towards the door
Moonstone was barely paying attention but just walked out as Latte had pointed towards the door, she was too excited, or stressed , to confess to Diary she was barely paying attention to anything, not even her surroundings.
They sighed to themselves.
"That girl is gonna get herself killed one day or another." He shut the door

Moonstone happily skipped back to the cabin having butterflies in her stomach whilst thinking about all of this, she kept her thoughts her herself but something that questioned her was..
"What if she doesn't even kiss girls?"
Moonstone wasn't entirely sure about Diary's sexuality though she had known her a-few years
Moonstone was PRETTY sure she likes both genders, therefore she was bisexual!

She skipped and she skipped whilst think of what to say..
Should she be straight up about it or try be slick with it?
She was thinking but she was stoped in her tracks by no other than Diary.
"I- uh.. Diary!" She smiled brightly trying to not blush.
"Moonstone! Lets go."
Diary was about to drag Moonstone by the arm but Moonstone stopped her
"Wait.. Before we do.. can i tell you something..?"
She smiled
"Oh.. uh.. Sure..?" Diary had a confused look on her face.
"I like you Diary, Ive made it pretty obvious for the past few months but your clearly not getting the hint so, I feel like i should tell you this personally, face to face."
She looked away playing with her hands and blushing before Diary let out the biggest laugh ever.
"Sorry but.I dont like you like that..?" Diary chuckled whilst looking at Moonstones confused face.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, I was PAID to be your friends and.. lets be honest, nobody would have wanted to be your friend if i wasnt..And im not a girl kisser."
She burst out laughing and couldn't help herself from stopping
Tears formed into Moonstones eyes as Diary said all of this.
"So it was all fake..?" she stood there stunned whilst tear fell down her face.
"Duh." She frowned before walking away.

Moonstone fell onto her knees trying to stop herself from crying.
Wont this all be over? For the feelings she once had been crushed by a-few words. Years of feelings crushed to what hope she had left.

But something caught Moonstones eye, Once everyone had turned away from the situation, Diary had seems upset.

Why would she frown? Shouldn't Moonstone be the upset one?

Chapter Text

Moonstone would notice Diary's eyes sweltering up with tears, but why? Shouldn't Moonstone be the one who's sad?
Many emotions rushed throughout her, she was confused, she watched as Diary sombrely walked away.
Its not like she was hurt, but Moonstone knew that Diary wouldnt mind being inlove with a girl, or a boy. So why was everything strange.
She couldn't just stop here could she.
She'd had come so far but for what?
Why was she stopping herself now. She had built up so much courage for nothing at this point.
Moonstone tried to help it but she yelled Diary's name.

"DIARY WAIT." Moonstone called out, tears flowing from her eyes unable to stop them nor could she stop herself from calling Diary back.

Diary turned around confused but attempted to wipe the small tears she had that had been forming in here eyes, It was clear she was trying to act as if nothing had happened.
"Yeah Moonstone?" Diary questioned Moonstone whilst smiling at her with a warm and welcoming smile.
Moonstone's face went serious before she asked.
"I thought you liked me like that?." she sighed trying to not tear up, though it was hard..
"I-i have no idea what your talking about! I just see you as a friend.
" She smiles brightly before trying to hide her pain in her eyes
"I just don't understand it?"
she sighed looking away
"Dont under WHAT?"
She raised her voice back trying to not cry. She had a smug look on her face.
"WHEN YOU SAID YOU LIKED ME? WAS THAT CASUAL."
Moonstone raised her low voice
You could hear muffled voices from the bushes.
"OH GOD IM GONNA CRY."
The pitched voice, which was clearly nail, said trying to hide in the push.
"Just SHUT IT NAIL."
The quite literally only serious person said, which kinda obvious by the shark tail pointing out, was SharkBearBerry.
"QUIET DOWN IM TRYING TO WRITE THIS INTO MY FAN FICTION ACCOUNT."
She assumed by fan fiction it was OBVIOUSLY Latte.
"Huh..?"
Diary turned around
"WE ARENT HERE."
They all ducked their heads behind the bush and Moonstone burst out laughing but when serious again.
Moonstone raised her low voice.
"I mean.. i like kinda like you?? Im just like..... whatever about dating?"
Diary was pretty chill about saying all of this, not hesitating to say one word to another.
Moonstone stood there
"So you DO like me?"
"I guess?"
She was so confused
Diary rolled her eyes and began talking
"Everythings so werid.. First i USED you for my own personal entertainment and then.."
Moonstone cut her off
"Im not even sure how I even began to crush on you over THAT." She smiled
"Moving on. Then i somehow found you.. as more of a friend."
Diary sighed.
"Now lets go, loser."
She'd smirk before kissing Moonstone on the cheek and dragging her arm.
