Summary
She skidded to a stop abruptly, forcing those behind her to dodge around her, hardly hearing their annoyed cries for her to keep moving. The world quieted, and despite her fear, she found herself slowly looking down the street to the gate where she had kicked the stone down hours before. Growing louder, she heard the large stomps of what could only be one thing.
