Chapter Text

Professor Utonium name I'll be using the most John and prefer over Drake or Ben.
The gist of this is to show how hopeless Townsville was and I'll using a very hated episode by everyone including myself "Fallen Arches" but I decided to use Captain Righteous and Lefty being Townsville's previous heroes and after their final battle with The Ministry of Pain Gang and leaving with an early retirement as this was going on during John's finals week in High school as chaos will start to ensue and a certain chimp will come to the city also wanted to give Chemical X an origin place and hard to find as people just consider it as a folk lore or once existed anyway I'll be taking a lot time as chapter 1 will later in the week or weekend no promises.

Chapter Text

It was one of those nights I had a dream that felt so real like Is this a premonition in a good way and these 3 blurry figures were floating and looking at me in silence like I was at a loss for words as I tried to walk over to them and ask some questions the bright lights flashes and I woke up with “Dang I think I was this close John!” John looks over at the mirror and says, “ I don’t think telling anyone about my dreams or they’ll think I'm crazy and placed in an asylum and I’m not my scholarship for Townsville University I have been accepted to and it’s been my life long dream,” John snapped out of it and gets ready for school.

School bus and everyone vehicle is stopped by The Ministry of Pain being caught up in a battle with Captain Righteous and Lefty their archenemies and we already know the outcome of this battle as my peers and the bus driver watch cheering on Captain Righteous and Lefty but something unexpected happens as Mastermind grabs out these gloves and begins to rival Righteous strength and grabs Lefty slamming him into the pavement with his left hand making Righteous furious trying to muster up all the strength he had left. And manages to break those gauntlets and punch Mastermind in the face and his whole body goes crashing into a car rendering him unconscious as his monologue begins to break off with every officer pointing their weapons at him and his henchmen. “ Well good always triumphs over evil,” John said with laughter. Bellum was reading and jointing down notes as she was very into politics something I tried to avoid but Dick always tries to flirt with her since nobody saw her face being covered by hair or convenience objects. “ Well, they heading to Townsville Correctional Center and hopefully they stay there!” Bellum said calmly as she read her book from the 3-row seat in the middle where the exit door was placed. Harold pointed,“ Hey look the Mayor is here,” everyone stopped and looked at the Mayor as he walked over to Captain Righteous and Lefty to do his usual “Thank you, for saving the day,” John said respectfully as his classmates were cheering the two heroes on.

“The City of Townsville has had a successfully low crime rate in this city as we Ministry of Pain shoved into a police truck the door shuts up and drives as the Mayor holding his pickle jar.” The Narrator commentates.

"Thank you again Captain Righteous. " The Mayor said but Righteous but halts his hand at the mayor at his face saying,” Thank you, everyone in Townsville but I’m saddened to say I’m retiring from the superhero job as I’m not in my prime anymore I’ve become a Fallen Arch and my partner Lefty barely made alive in our final battle as I be always remember the good times I did while saving this city from bank robberies to meteors crashing into the city.” Captain Righteous waved goodbye as all the citizens, law enforcement, and the Mayor cried balling their eyes out as they watched him leave.

2 years later, I’m in my final semester in high school, and well things in this city took a turn for the worse. Explosions were going off mostly at banks as multiple people were running out with stolen goods. Shootouts happened basically everywhere and every day and it got to the point where the police just gave up and let them watch as they watched pathetically.

As my brother graduated 2 years ago and just moved out of the country, it’s basically me, Keane, and Dick H.

We were walking home discussing our careers and what was next for us in life. Until Keane’s favorite restaurant was robbed by 8 people in ski masks running outside with stolen food and money holding water guns painted as guns not in a good way yet again the police were there and just watched hopelessly to stop them as they made a getaway John rolled his eyes making Dick and Keane walk away from the scene. Dick spoke,” So John I about you getting a car soon so we don’t have to walk about here defenseless.” He says. Keane looked at her watch saying, it’s 5 pm best we head back home before THEY come back and this is their turf we're on,” Keane said with genuine fear, and soon John and Dick almost forgot about that time as they hear vehicles revving up “The Dooks of Doom!” John shouted as Keane and Dick hide for cover in a locker and dumpster John didn’t have no to hide as he tried to fit in but there was too much junk everywhere and he was out in the open

John was panicking he saw the smoke coming closer and closer as he ran and the vehicle with a tank started open and firing at him as the buildings were being torn down and explosions as debris and rubble was falling as glass shards cut into his body as blood was pouring down and the sky clouds began to shower rain and thunder making the situation worse. What John could hear was a rattling chain noise that was aiming at him as the chain hit the ground leaving a crater but John kept running and not looking back he was in a life-or-death situation. “Hey Goll-Gor let me take this one,” Whizzer says ecstatic on his moped. Goll-Gor rolls his eyes as he looks at Hog-Gwarr still throwing his chain around. “ Damn this human is fast and I like it when my victims run!” Goll-Gor begins to put my ammunition in the tank to start a rapid-fire destroying a lot in the vicinity as Hog and Whizzer just watch and ride along. John “How could I forget about the Dooks of Doom everyone told me and I completely forgot about it I hope Dick and Keane are safe and sound,” as he jumps a fence and The Dooks stopped their vehicle with Goll-Gor said,” Forget it we already got lots metal to eat but if we see him again I’ll rip out his organs!” As they turn their vehicles around and leave John is at the docks still running thinking they’re chasing him he hides behind a cargo truck he peeks out to see as he sees boxes of exotic animals and some cartel members unloading them one that looks like the leader of the career has a python on his shoulder an endangered blue Indonesia python. As crafts labeled with Phrinanas, Vipers, and, Chimpanzees in those boxes with the help of coast guards letting them through and stuffing cash in their pockets. John wasn’t even surprised he knew some law enforcement were on these criminals' payroll now since they gave up. And there was also a hazmat person holding a container and releasing three Amboeas with hats on. “ Alright these guys are utterly useless can’t even form a deadly chemical Ugh! 50 million dollars down the drain!” The hazmat person vented. With a mist of the hazmat venting the others didn’t realize that the chimpanzee's crate was opened and tons of chimpanzees were running around freely and breaking the other crates as Piranhas started to on the cartel gang members' legs and started biting full force as the men were screaming and the vipers started to bite the members as the Leader shouted: “ No these were going be perfect for auction cruses!” And pulls out a gun to start shooting the animals. John looks in horror but he needs to do something as he sees a crane above the leader holding barrels of whatever is in there no time to question he sees a lever and pulls it the barrels fall on the man. The hazmat suit person turns to see a teenager who pulls the lever and starts running “ Hey come back, kid!” He shouted as John ran away meanwhile the amoebas started walking away with the middle saying, “Right boys my is bossman and you tall one be … umm Slim and short one you be umm (looking around to see) Yes, Junior that will do.” Bossman nodded proudly to himself. Slim and Junior smiled at Bossman with Bossman saying, “This city will be in big trouble by the Amobeas Boys and our crimes will make all the citizens fear us!” He laughed to himself as they walked out of the piper.

Back to John running and hiding from the hazmat man as his footsteps get closer to where John is hiding underneath a box. John sees a baby Chimpanzee reaching up but the hazmat bends down to grab John by force “ You have a lot of nerve to be nosy in other people’s business!” He shouted as he pulled out a gun. “No!” John pleaded for his life as the chimpanzee jumped on him ripping and tearing off his hazmat suit.
The man screamed for his life with scratches and blood on him as he swung blindly rage and hit John out cold after that man ran out of the container room warehouse. The baby chimpanzee picks up the gun that the hazmat man dropped earlier and playfully points it at the back of the hazmat man's head and a BLAM goes off.

2 hours later go by as the piper is dead silent nobody in sight well not nobody
*pans back into the warehouse* as John soon regains consciousness and rubs his face “Ow that was quite a punch let me be sure nothing was stolen while I was out cold.” He soon walks out of the warehouse and sees a sleeping chimpanzee with a paper underneath him. John tries to quietly reach it but the chimpanzee wakes up and stares down for what feels like an eternity the chimpanzee walks over to him signaling John is no threat and the Chimpanzee jumps and dances.

John was sweating bullets and was lucky the chimpanzee was friendly and not going to kill or maim him. “Say you have a name little guy? And what’s that paper you got underneath you?” John asked politely. The chimp responded by holding the paper and slowly sliding it to him. John gets the paper politely unfolds it and begins to read then, his eyes widen and he shouts “
Chemical X! It’s real and not a rumor then and there’s a location of where it’s at near Monster Isle in the north coordinate of the sea. Meaning I can make this city a better place than it once was this could be the key to the future.” John said proudly and the chimp looked at him jumping for joy. John noticed the chimp agreeing with him “ Say you need a name little guy how about Dan?” The chimp nodded no. “ Hector?” Chimp sticks out his tongue. “Ok no for Hector how about Jojo?” The chimp responded with excitement. “ Ok, Jojo it is” John lifted Jojo placed him on his shoulders, and left the piper.

John returned home and called his friends to say he was alright and said good night.

The next morning at school
“John, we heard about last night you survived against the Dooks of Doom what a lucky man you are.” A student said. “Yes, they were kinda idiots but don’t underestimate them I saw them have a motorcycle, tank, and moped but I don’t know how I was able to make it out alive but I’m glad to still be here.” John chuckles a bit nervously. Dick walks over to say, “ Alright people wrap it up we’re graduating in 3 days.”

John turns to Dick and said,” Dick I said not to tell anyone about that night!” Dick said look I forgot that Harold and Steve were coming over to my house yesterday night they must’ve overheard I swear it on my life, John even if I drink some chemical turning me into a monster I didn’t tell nobody else.” Dick pleaded. “ oh alright and yes I approve for Townsville University and you have as well and Keane is doing teaching class,” John said.

“Yes, John I got approved and can’t wait either,” Dick said in a cheerfully sarcastic tone.

Timeskip to the Graduation ceremony

Everyone in Townsville High graduated and had a party all night long. As John is reading the newspaper and rolling his eyes at the monster sightings lately, a snake-haired woman robbing stores, and a celebrity starring a mascara production. “Well, at least there’s one good thing that came out,” John says. As the party died down and with most of everyone leaving and John getting ready to get his keys from his coat until these 3 guys holding guns and pointed at everyone with suits well dressed meaning gangsters are here! The thin man with orange hair and a beard, the muscular man with sunglasses holding a semiautomatic rifle, and the last one with a green Mojave haircut holding a rifle with the orange hair one saying,” Alright everyone hand over your valuables and
You can get to go free if you don’t my boys here Bobby, John, and I will kill you here on the spot!” Trevor shouted and laughed sinisterly. As he walked over with a bag and John and Bobby pointed and cocking their weapons as the fear of the new graduates began to make them all their valuables. Trevor says, “Morbucks Enterprise be our next target boys!” As they walked up to head toward Dick with a stern face looking at them with fear as he tries to keep his brave face on. Trevor smacked him with his gun saying, “ Don’t be a hero!” Bobby said, “Hey boss, should go now these are pathetic things, especially for high school graduates I expected a lot of money but this is sad,” he said disappointed and John shook his head in agreement. “Yeah, I agree this depressing so let’s go for Morbucks Enterprise instead!” John said as the other two followed behind leaving the door. Everyone was silent and decided to stay at the Air BnB but John was not staying and left to head home because he had to run to the store and get some bananas and water for Jojo. John drives by to see buildings on fire with 3 fire trucks dismantled and this cult wearing skull masks holding hands in a circle and dancing and throwing tied-up firefighters into the burning building. He drove faster to the store that closes in one hour and headed to Maplh's store and made it on time as he grabbed his groceries and headed to the checkout aisle at cashier 2 with a polite manhandling and bagging the groceries into John’s cart as he walked out 3 weird amoebas walked into the store and shyly stealing oranges. John turned around and looked confused “These weird guys stole oranges and not cash?” He seemed puzzled by these motivations but quickly returned home. Give Jojo his bananas and bowl of water afterward John takes a shower and gets ready for bed and as he falls asleep he has that dream again but the three figures are visible and blurry as he only sees the glowing eyes of pink, blue, and green. “ Hey, it’s me again,” John tries to get their attention as he waves at them and runs in their direction a bright light flashes of a big X across the area immediately waking him up and saying, “This feels surreal and not a dream is this a sign of some sort?” He puts his hand on his chin but this time there is an “X” that brightens and none of my other dreams didn’t have an X like this one. The next morning John sips a cup of coffee then goes to his desk and reads the paper again. “Ok so I knew Chemical X was real but it’s located on a nearby island that is close to Monster Isle but the monsters have been dormant for quite some time thank goodness on that because I can't even imagine these monsters joining the chaos of the situation of Townsville this would be unrepairable, No! I must make it his city a better place for everyone,” John said a bit worried but determined in his eyes.

End of Chapter 1, So in the next chapter John be heading out to sea to search for Chemical X but danger going to lurking too and Dick is watching Jojo and let's just he terrible at it.
