What the hell do I name for a title

Summary:

Idk a swap/shuffle au that I've been planting in my head cause I'm a sucker for swap aus

Chapter 1: Roles

Chapter Text

Okay chat hear me out. These are the roles so far:

Sun → Moon

Lunar → Eclipse

Earth → Bloodmoon

Solar → Ruin

Dazzle → Molten

Jack → Neptor

Frank → Francis

Killcode will be the same but sun themed

These are the main ones but if there's any more ideas ya'll have in mind feel free to mention them.

Some personalities will swap, but others (Frank, Francis, Neptor, maybe Jack(?), and the Astrals) will not.

I (in my opinion) am not that good of a writer when it comes to staying in character within other fandoms so expect it to most likely be inacurate when I actually start writing.

Chapter 2: Ruin introduction

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Eclipse didn’t know what to expect when Sun pushed him in the ballpit. Certainly wasn’t this, that’s for sure.

This daycare was in shambles, ruins even. Like someone left this place to rot for years.

It was very dark too. Luckily [CHARACTER NOT DESIGNATED YET] gave him the glowing feature to his new body! He liked glowing!

He was slowly getting bored until he heard something move in the rubble, stopping in his tracks and turning to where he heard the sound. “…Hello?”

As he tried to hear again, it went silent. “Huh,” Eclipse said, continuing walking. “Guess it was just some kind of—“ Before he could finish, he bumped into a leg. A damaged one, in fact. His eyes widen as he looks up.

The animatronic was a mix of sun and moon, however his…whole body, was damaged and his hands looked like claws.

The two made silent eye contact before Eclipse ran away, suddenly alerting the animatronic. “H—H3y wa-a1t th3r3!” His voice glitched as he tried running after him.

Eclipse ran to the door, only to find that they were blocked. He gulped as the mangled animatronic came closer.

”1-1 d0n’t wa-a-anna hurt y0-0-0u,” He said, reaching out for Eclipse, only to see him back away. He looked at himself before sighing. “I lo-o-ok to sca-a-ary, don’t I?”

Eclipse nodded.

”W3ll, 1 gu3-3ss that’s what ha-app3ns when y0u’ve b33en l3ft to r0-0t for y3-3ars…I’m Ecl1-1ps3.”

Eclipse, the smaller one, turned to him in confusion. "But that's my name."

"O-o000h. W3ll, 1 gu3ss that's a c0mm0n nam3." The other Eclipse shrugged. The smaller Eclipse stared at him for a moment, concerning him. "...Hel0000?"

"Can I call you Ruin?" Eclipse suggested.

"R-ru1n?" He repeated, eye darting in thought. "Sur3re, 1 l1k3 1t. Wh3r3 d1d y00u c0m3 fr0m? Th1s plac3 has b33n 1n shambl3s for y3ars..."

"Portal. In the ballpit?"

"O-00h! y33ssss, 1 r3m3mb3r that Ssunn mad3 thaatttt."

"Sun and Moon exist here?" Eclipse asks, looking around for them.

"Oo0o0h n0oo0o. Th3e3ee3e fir3e3e causss33ed th33em t0o0o fuse3e to0oge3the3r, cr3eeat1i1ng me3e." Ruin explained. "S0o0 yo0our fr0rm an0oothe3r dim3e3ens1i10o0n?"

"Mhm," Eclipse nodded. "Are...you okay?"

"Hm?" Ruin tilted his head like a dog.

"You sound like your in pain..."

"No0o0o I1i1m fi1ine3e3e3e3!! I1i1t ge3ets...n0o0rmal afte3r a f3e3w y3ears..." Ruin looked down, his eyes gleaming sadness.

Eclipse didn't want him to suffer. There has to be something he can do. "Can you excuse me for a moment?" He didn't wait for an answer as he ran into the ballpit, leaving Ruin to wait.

He returned to his dimension, asking Sun for parts and ways to fix a voice box. Sun was confused, asking why he wanted to know, making Eclipse explain everything. Soon, Sun grabbed the stuff he needed and he ran back into the ballpit.

Ruin sat there, soon perking up as he saw Eclipse running over. "Whaat'sss tha-aa-t f0oor?"

"To fix your voice box," Eclipse answered. "I don't know how to exactly do it as good though..."

"O0o-ho0oh it's fin3-e-e33e," Ruin laughed, "I1-I1i1 fusssee3-3e3ed wi1i-1ith bo-0oo-0th, I knoo-o0oo0 h0-o-0-0ow to-o0-o0 d0o-o0o it myse-e3-e3-lf." He grabbed the stuff out of Eclipse's hands, the little bot watching as Ruin took his own voice box out of his mouth and watch as he repaired it, Eclipse also explaining to Ruin what's going on in his dimension.

It felt like hours as Eclipse talked. Ruin stopped, signing Good? to him. Eclipse nodded.

Ruin smiled as he placed his back in, clearing his throat. "Wel-oh my god." His eyes widened in realization. "Wow, that's how I sound like?"

"Why do you sound British?" Eclipse asked.

"I don't know," Ruin shrugged, "But I might as well get used to it. Thank you, Eclipse."

Eclipse nodded, letting out a yawn.

"Oh, should've known you'd get sleepy after just watching me. Come on now, I have a small place where you can rest," Ruin said, lifting Eclipse up and crawling inside of of the (what used to be) the red play structure, which has been decorated with a soft blue blanket decorated with stars and a small nightlight, some burned pictures of (mostly) Moon and Sun neatly piled in a corner. "Stay right there, I'll get a pillow. Oh, and what you told me? You're not a mistake." He crawled out, leaving Eclipse to get comfy.

"Is this is why Sun sent me here?" Eclipse asked to himself in a quiet voice, "To get therapy?"

Ruin came back in shortly, sitting down and handing Eclipse a pillow. "Go on, sleep. You deserve it."

Eclipse felt himself poweroff shortly after.

And then Eclipse blew up months later 😌

Chapter 3: Bloodmoon introduction

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Moon ran. He didn't know how far he was and he didn't care. He stopped to catch his breath deep in the forest, a second away to having a breakdown. And he did, actually. He dropped to the ground, dirt getting on his pants now, but he didn't care. It felt like he's been crying for ages already, not looking at the time.

"...is this a bad time?"

He snapped up, startled as he whips around. Only when he did, he didn't expect the thing in front of him.

A tall robot was standing there. It had a red body with a black split at the face, black horns with a dark red fade and bright red outlines on top of the head, black sclera with eyes two different colors, one a dark red with black swirls as a pupil and a light red with a white pentagram as a pupil. Rested behind it's back was bat wings colored black and bright red, outlined with dark red. It wore a black and gray chained poncho, wearing the standered daycare uniform below, dark red camoflage sleeves and black and red camoflage pants with a red belt and brick red shoes.

Moon ignored the tears streaming down his faceplate for a second as he stared at the animatronic. "...who-"

"Wait a second..." It crept closer to him, studying it's features. "Are you Moon?"

Moon backed away, stuttering, "H-how did you-do I know you?"

"No, I'm afraid you do not. But we are Bloodmoon!" Bloodmoon introduced themself. "We were supposed to be you and Sun's brother until the Creator scrapped us and left us here to wither and rot. I do not like that man..."

"Wha-What do you mean by 'we'?" Moon asks.

"There's two of us in here. I go by Harvest, the other prefers to be called Scythe." Harvest explains.

"Oh...so do I just called you different names or-"

"We don't care, call us by whatever you want," Scythe says.

"O-kay then..."

"Our turn to ask a question now; are you okay?"

Moon freezes up, making direct eye contact with them. "W-what do you mean by that?"

"Don't lie, we saw you crying. We're just concerned, that's all."

Moon went silent before breaking down again. This time, Bloodmoon catching him in their arms. "I'm such a failure..." He croaked out.

"Now now, who said that was true?" Harvest said in a soft tone.

"...me?" Moon scoffed. "Nevermind-I just wanted to be good for once!"

.                                         .                                              .

"...you were always good." Moon looked up to see Bloodmoon wiping his tears. "We may not know what you've been through, but you're wrong. Whatever's happening, we'll get through it together."

Moon's light blue eyes stared at them until he sobbed into them again.

"No no, it's fine now. You're safe here, we promise."

The conforting went on for a few hours now until Moon fully finished with his tears. "Um I...thank you."

"Our pleasure. Good luck once you head back there."

Moon was about to walk off until he stopped getting an idea. "Wait," He turned to Bloodmoon, who was just about to walk away, "wanna come with?"

This was rushed, I'm sorry

Chapter 4: Neptor introduction

Summary:

I made a spin the wheel just because I couldn't descide who to do next

Chapter Text

Ruin has worked for weeks. Why? Well, apparently Lunar is alive, and planing to killed Eclipse. No one wanted that, clearly, so Ruin took the time to create something which will protect Eclipse. Hopefully this works right, he had to test it many times! He powered on a little robot, it's blue eyes darted around, until it looked at Ruin.

"State your name, please," Ruin said.

"N-Neptor." The robot, Neptor replied, a nervous tone clearly visible.

"Alright, can you explain to me your purpose?"

Neptor racked through his newly-made mind. "To...to protect Eclipse and anyone else from harm."

"Yes, good," Ruin nodded. "How do you feel? Any dis-confort?"

"No...how am I here? The last thing I remember is fire."

That made Ruin silent. "You still remember that, huh?"

"...Am I in trouble?"

"Oh dear no, I'm just surprised!" He reasured the small bot, giving a conforting smile. "When I was still mangled, I found...what was left with you. I brought you to my new home in this dimension, but I never found the time to repair you. Until now that is. Are you sure you don't feel any pain? I haven't programed pain sensors in you yet."

Neptor gave a small nod.

"Very well then," Ruin stood up and called Sun.

"Ello?"

"Hi, Sun. He's done, mostly."

"Oh. Do you want me to come over there and see myself?"

"Depends, are you busy?"

"No, just watching something. Be there soon."

As Sun hung up, Ruin turned to Neptor, who was looking around the room. "Do you need help getting down?" Neptor stared at Ruin, almost embarrassed before nodding. He walked over to the desk and gently grabbed Neptor before setting him down. "It's fine, I've done the same thing with Eclipse. Still getting used to the body though, eh?" Neptor nods again.

Sun comes walking in, his rays swirling a bit. "Alright, where is it?"

"Below you," Ruin says.

Sun looked down to see Neptor staring at him. "Why does it look like Eve from Walle?" He asks.

"I'm not the one who orignally made him." Ruin answered.

"Fair. What was he made for again?"

"Orignally he was supposed to be a security bot with more self-awareness unlike the usual ones." Ruin then noticed Neptor backing away the moment Sun crouched down to see him. "He isn't gonna hurt you Neptor, I'm sure of it." He says as he watched.

Neptor seemed nervous before slowly floating over to Sun. "Hmm. You seem to be a bit more advanced programing than a normal animatronic..." He says. "Did you implant weapons inside him?" He asks Ruin.

"What?"

"I added laser eyes to him. And his arms become small swords and guns. The horns are just a small tracker, but that should be it." Ruin gave a small hum. "I do plan on adding more soon enough.

"When are you gonna show Eclipse him?"

"Soon enough, just need to run small tests and he should be good. Unless if he's nervous to do so which, to be fair, is understandable."

"N-no!" Neptor spoke up, getting their attention. "I can do it."

"If that's what you want," Ruin shrugged. "Let's get started then, shall we?"

=================================

It took days, but Neptor was finally allowed to roam out. As long as he proceeded with his task. The first thing he needed to do was find Eclipse. He floated though the Pizzaplex to soon find him talking to a tall red themed animatronic, which was registered in his data as Bloodmoon. Then Eclipse tripped and Neptor's alerts came on, floating over to shoot the thing that tripped him before quickly floating away.

"...what?" Eclipse said, confused. He turned to Bloodmoon, who had the same expression as he does. "What was that?"

Bloodmoon shrugged. "Hey, little guy? Where'd you go? We only wish to talk." They started walking over to where Neptor went, to find him exactly there. "Do you have a name fella?"

The bot nodded. "Neptor."

"What an odd name...Sush, don't be rude." Harvest scoffed before turning back to Neptor. "I'm not angry, I just wanna ask why you did that."

"It's what I'm programed to do."

"To what exactly?"

"Eliminate threats to Eclipse."

Eclipse looked over when he heard his name. "What's that about me?"

"This little guy said he was programed to protect you. And who programed you?"

Neptor's horns slid back like a animal's before responding, "Ruin."

"Give us a moment." Scythe said, taking a second to call the said animatronic.

"Oh Bloodmoon! What do I owe of you?"

"Nothing really, we just have a question. We were walking with Eclipse when he tripped and a robot by the name of Neptor shot it before hiding away again. We asked it three questions and it said you programed it. Can you give us a reason why?"

"Oh, I see you three already met him. Yes, I programed Neptor. We all know that a certain 'Lays' bag of an animatronic is roaming god knows where, so I took the time to repair and program him. He's quite shy, so that gives an answer as to why he hid. He should get comfortable with you and the others soon enough."

"Right, thanks." Bloodmoon hung up before turning back to Neptor. "We were just about to head back to the daycare, would you like to join us?"

Neptor's horns slid back in their usual spot before nodding.

Chapter 5: Sagittarius introduction

Summary:

After watching the Eclipse's honesty video, I think I kin Lunar

Notes:

I swapped Sagittarius with Gemini because those two were across from each other on a Zodaic circle

Chapter Text

Eclipse walked through the pizzaplex, muttering to himself as he did. Sun and Moon have been gone for days now, the daycare in shambles. Almost like what happened with Ruin's dimension. Bloodmoon tired conforting him but that hasn't worked well so far.

"Hii!"

He stopped. Was be being followed? "What-OH MY GOD!" He yelled out and backed away. Someone, at least, was touring over him in the shadows, Eclipse spotting ears and a tail on it.

"Oh. Is there a problem?"

"Yeah-you scared me..." Eclipse muttered. "Can you step into the light please?"

"Okay."

"Let's just, there we go." He backed up to give the mystery person space. When he looked up to see it, he went silent.

The being's skin was a pale purple but it's eyes were a mauve purple, hair being a lavender purple tied into a braid. It wore a lilac dress with a black hood and a arrow holder and crossbow behind. The horse's ears were pale purple, like it's skin, but it's tail was fading with the colors of indigo and blue-violet. "...hello?" It asks. "Are you okay?"

Eclipse barely realized he's flushing pink and snapped out of trance. "Sorry it's just...your-your so-"

"Unnatural, right?"

"Yeah!" Realization hit him. "I mean no I-"

"It's fine, I know I'm not," Her tail flicked before clearing her throat. "I'm Sagittarius."

"Wait, like the Zodaic?" Eclipse asks.

Sagittarius nodded. "You can call me Sag for short though."

Eclipse was too flustered to comprehend what was happening. "O-okay...what are you?"

"I'm a star. The ones in the sky. Do you know why I'm here?"

"N-no..."

"Figured. You remember that you revived in space, right?"

Eclipse nodded.

"Well, some of our power has been mixed into your coding."

"Oh." Eclipse's eyes then widened in realization. "Oh...I-is that bad?"

"To some of us, yes. But me, along with others, wanna see what you can do," Sag says, studying Eclipse. "So in a few days or so, I'll be training you."

"There's more of you?"

"The whole Zodaic constelations, if you'd say," She answers, "although there's a few normal constelations that work under us. I want you to do something for me, okay?"

"Su-sure, what is it?"

"Try to find the star power within you," Sag bends down to his height, both locking eye contact. "I can see marks of what's to come, so I need to prepare you. Understand?" Eclipse nodded, making her smirk. "You have very nice eyes."

Eclipse's rays twirl around his head. "Y-you too..."

"Very well then," She stands up. "Oh, and by the way, your brothers are alive."

Eclipse's eyes widened in shock. "Wait, what-" But she was gone before he could even ask. "...I need to tell someone about this..."

==================================================

"BLOODMOON!"

Bloodmoon was in the middle of trying to contact Ruin when he heard Eclipse yell out their name. They quickly stood up and rushed to where they heard him. "Yeah? What's going on? Did Solar or Earth find you? Are you hurt?"

"No. But I did find someone else..."

"Who?!" They both spoke at the same time, desperate for answers.

"Someone by the name of Sagittarius."

That made Bloodmoon silent. "The Zodaic sign? I didn't know those kind of things are sentient."

"Well they are," Eclipse said. "She mentioned that I have something called 'star power' in me. She wants me to 'find it within me' she said. But I don't know how to do that."

Bloodmoon seemed to have a small conversation in their mind because they're eyes went blank for a second. "Maybe concentrate? Whatever this so-called star power is, it must be different from normal magic."

Eclipse nodded as he tried to concentrate. At the same time, the lights started flickering, causing Bloodmoon's wings to twitch at that before looking back at Eclipse, they're eyes staring in surprise. "Eclipse...look at your hands..." When he opened his eyes, they dilated in awe. Cupped in his hands was a ball of light, shining bright enough for him to see. As he tired to touch it, it exploaded in his hands. He looked at Bloodmoon, the bat clearing his throat. "Well, that was...something. What was that."

"I...I don't know."

==================================================

"You can manipulate photons," Sag said when Eclipse asked about his powers. "Light, basically."

"...What kind of lights?"

"All of them, pretty much." The two were in a nice forest, the two standing in front of a waterfall. Sagittarius was doing some practice shots with her signature weapon, Eclipse watching in amazement at her. "You also have other basic powers like flying, but I'm sure you can work those out."

"Uh huh..." Eclipse nodded. "So what can I start with?"

Sag stopped for a second, turning to look at him. "Well what happened the first time you did it?"

"Uh...The lights from the part of the buliding I was at flicked and I found a ball of it in my hands. When I tried to touch it, it exploaded."

"I see. Try it again."

"What?"

"Try it again," Sag repeated, "with that lamppost over there." She pointed to a lamppost behind him. "I'll watch."

Eclipse nodded, doing what Bloodmoon told him before. The lamppost flicked before it shut off, specks of light forming into one and right into his hands.

"Well?"

"I...I don't wanna touch it again."

A frown locked into Sag's face before getting an idea. "Close your eyes and take some deep breathes." Eclipse didn't question her as he did, taking deep breaths for the next minute, feeling his hands getting touched. "Open them."

When he did, he noticed he was touching the light orb, Sag's hands touching his. When he realized that, his rays sank in.

Sag smirked again. "Heh, you look bald when you do that. Cool trick though."

"H-how-"

"You eased your mind," She explained. "Emotions have a big impact on star power just as much as normal magic. Calmness helps the most."

Eclipse was silent, staring at Sag lovingly. "I love you." He said in a hushed voice.

"What?" Sag turn to meet his eyes.

"Nothing," He said quickly. "You can see the future, right? Is it bad?"

"Bad?" Sag repeated before glancing down. "Hm...right now I'm glancing at a month to come...Your brothers will be reuniting with you and your other brother at the time. And I'll have a meet with them as well."

"...It's about the star, isn't it?"

"Mhm," Sag nodded.

"Please be nice to them?"

"I'll do my best."

Notes:

So from what I googled; Sagittarius has prophet powers and Eclipse had the power to "absorb and manipulate photons" so I'm basing it off of that

I did a love calculator on these two and it went up to 92% lol

Chapter 6: Solar introduction

Summary:

Hello Sams fandom, I am back. I've been over-obsession over my own stories (currently writing a book) so I haven't really focused on updating this

Chapter Text

Sun was doing some finishing work in the daycare when he heard the computer say Portal activated. He stopped and ran over to the computer. "What do you mean the portal activated?"

I mean that someone's entering out of the portal.

Sun muttered curses under his breath as he ran over to the ballpit to see what was coming out.

It seemed to be a taller Eclipse, based off of it's orange body. However, it was wearing a black slightly-teared up hood over its head and body. Its eyes opened, revealing black sclera and dark orange eyes, glancing over to Sun and squinting.

Sun took a moment to take in any visible deatils on the Eclipse before clearing his throat and speaking up. "Hello? What are you doing here?"

"...nothing that concerns you," The Eclipse said, it's voice gravely.

"Uh, no. You just show up in my dimension without any reason, that concerns me," Sun said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Mhm, should've known you'd be talking like that," It says, stepping out of the ballpit. "You Suns always have that annoying energy."

Sun paused. "Who are you?"

The Eclipse hummed. "Well, I would say Eclipse, but that isn't my name anymore now. No, you may address me as Solar."

Solar walked up to Sun, causing him to back away. He didn't know a lot about him, but he could tell that this 'Solar' isn't good news. "Alright, well, if you can tell me the coordinates to your dimension I can send you back as quick as I cou-"

"No."

Sun stopped. "Pardon?"

"Are you deaf?" Solar snapped at him. "I won't return to that place. I have nothing there anymore." An unsettling smile then creeped onto his face. "I think I'll enjoy myself here better, don't you think? After all, I intend to keep myself entertained."

"What on earth are you-" Solar then blew a punch to his face. Sun letted out a scream before yelling, "COMPUTER STUN HIM!"

Activating stuns

"Oh you can try, I'll just dodge as I want," Solar smiled before running out.

Sun letting out a groan, his rays sinking in annoyance. "This isn't going to be good..."

Notes:

Lore of Swap Solar:

Similar concept; an Eclipse that was nice formed during Sun and Moon's separation. Only this time, since Sun swaps with Moon, he ends up in Moon's body. The same thing follows on when Eclipse gets his own body, only this time he manages to snap and kill his Sun. Knowing he can't stay in his dimension, he uses the portal to teleport.
