Chapter 2: Day One: Having A Lazy Day
Summary:
Day One: Having a Lazy Day
Chapter Text
Prince Hugo sighed, tucking his hands behind his head. His black hair was tousled from the warm summer breeze, but for once he didn't care. His brown eyes were shut as the hammock he laid in swung lazily in the wind. It was a warm day, not too hot and not too cold. The sun streamed down through the green leaves of the trees that the hammock was held up by.
Hugo's pale skin looked a little darker in the golden sun and his maroon shirt made him look even better. He had been laying out in the garden of his castle for a few hours; daydreaming and thinking about everything under the sun. But he wished that he had someone to talk to; preferably his girlfriend Princess Sofia.
He felt a dip in the left side of the hammock and his eyes opened as Sofia appeared by his side, smiling brightly.
He grinned. "Hey, Sofia,"
"Hey, I thought I'd visit you. Is that okay?" she asked shyly.
His arm snaked around her waist while the other remained under his head. "You can visit me anytime and anywhere."
She smiled and leaned down, kissing his lips, and then snuggled into his side. Hugo removed his hand from under his head and took hers which rested on his chest. He entwined their fingers and kissed her hair.
"What're you thinking about?" she asked softly.
"Bunnies," he replied.
"Why are you thinking about bunnies?" Sofia laughed.
"Well, you laughed, didn't you?" he chuckled, kissing her knuckles. Hugo let go of her hand and tilted her head up toward him. He leaned down pressed his lips to hers, but after a second, he pulled back because of the strain on his neck. "This is difficult."
He pursed his lips and then nodded, taking his arm away from Sofia and moving to straddle her on the hammock.
"Hugo, careful; you're going to tip us over." She giggled.
"Don't worry, I won't let you hit the ground." He promised.
"Are you sure about that?" she muttered as he leaned closer and pecked her lips.
And then the hairs on the back of his neck stood on end as their lips moved together lazily. She reached up and gripped his collar, pulling him closer. Her heart beat wildly in her chest and she could feel his heart racing at the same pace when her hand slid down to his chest. Caught up in Sofia and the moment, Hugo forgot where he was and cupped her cheek. Without his left hand planted on the hammock, it swung to the right and it flipped over. Hugo landed on the grass beneath the hammock and Sofia shrieked in surprise, landing on his chest. They looked at each other for a second and then they burst out laughing.
"See, I told you I wouldn't let you hit the ground." He wheezed.
"Aw, Hugo, are you okay?" Sofia sighed, hovering above him.
"Yeah, that just knocked the wind right out of me." he chuckled and the he smirked, looking up at her as she straddled his hips. "But I really like this position."
She cocked her head and gave him a look, but as she tried to move, his hands grabbed her hips.
"Kiss me, love." He whispered.
She smiled slightly and did so, suddenly being the one in control for once.
"Hugo, I'm going to the game!"
Sofia jumped, hopping off of him, even though they were still alone.
Prince Hugo sighed, sitting up. "Alright, Axel!"
"I'll be back in an hour or so!"
"Okay!" Hugo ran a hand through his hair, pulling a few pieces of grass out in the process. He heard his brother's carriage door slam shut and then fly towards the sky. Hugo stood up, and helped Sofia up as well. He wrapped an arm around her waist, pressing her against his chest. "I think we need a shower."
"Hugo," she scolded, slapping his chest.
"Okay, okay, but we'll at least have a picnic…" Hugo pleaded childishly.
"Of course," Sofia giggled, kissing him.
Chapter 3: Day Two: Cooking/Baking
Summary:
Sofia and Hugo bake together.
Chapter Text
Sofia sighed, looking at the surprise blizzard blowing fiercely outside the window. "Well, this is no good."
Hugo set his cell down, shaking his head ." Dad said for you to stay tonight, since it's too dangerous to drive." He smirked slightly. "Though I'm to lock myself in my room and you're supposed to sleep on the couch."
Sofia laughed, turning and tugging Hugo to her. "Yeah, but I get so cold at night. Who will keep me warm?" She fluttered her eyelashes.
"Well, then, I suppose I'll just have to sacrifice my bed to keep you warm." Hugo kissed her, lightly at first, then deepening it as Sofia's hands came up, lightly stroking his arms. "Oooh, let's make sugar cookies!" She exclaimed, pulling away suddenly. The princess pulled Hugo towards the kitchen, talking about Christmas patterns and different icing's.
"How about I set the mood, then?" Sofia hooked her music player up to the stand on the counter and put on his Christmas playlist as Hugo pulled down everything he would need to make the cookies.
Let It Snow started playing as Hugo mixed and stirred and Sofia sat, watching him and occasionally teasing him about the adorable apron he had put on until Hugo flicked some flour at him. Sofia could only blink in shock while Hugo giggled at the white spots dotting her otherwise brown hair.
"Oh, you are going to get it now!" Grabbing a handful of flour, Sofia threw it at Hugo, chuckling when he ducked, only to straighten and have his entire back covered.
"This. Means. WAR!" Hugo lunged for the bag of flour as Sofia grabbed handfuls, each of them lobbing the powder at the other, giggling madly. Sofia was slowly inching closer until she was right next to Hugo.
She darted forward quickly, pressing their lips together as one hand moved up to cup the long column of Hugo's neck. His tongue darted out only to pull back when it touched Hugo's lips.
"What's wrong?" Hugo asked, spotting the look on Sofia's face.
"Flour tastes gross, even when it's coming off of you."
The prince grinned and leaned forward, rubbing their noses together lightly. "Eskimo kisses are good, too."
The princess smiled, rubbing her nose against Hugo's. "They're the best."
Chapter 4: Day Three: Kissing
Summary:
Sofia is a little too obsessed with kissing Hugo.
Chapter Text
Princess Sofia sits on his thigh, and her hands are in his hair going through them. Hugo can’t help but smile into the endless kiss. His hands rest on Sofia's back, dragging his knuckles down her spine.
The Princess pulls back for a brief moment, adjusting her position to be more comfortable. Hugo smiles as she leans back in, placing soft, long, wet kisses on his lips.
The prince can’t help but chuckle against her lips.
“What?” Sofia questioned. “Why are you laughing at me?”
Hugo puts his hands on her cheeks, to keep them from pulling away. He kisses them again, before he answers her. “I’m not laughing at you. I’m just admiring how...determined you are to kiss me.”
“I like kissing you, you’re good at it.” Sofia chuckles. “This how I show my love, you know this.” The Princess say between small kisses.
Hugo smiles into the kisses again. “By kissing me to death?”
“Yes.” Princess Sofia giggled, hands moving to his neck to keep his head in position.
“I mean, of all the ways to go out...” Hugo laughs as he begins to kiss Sofia back again.
Princess Sofia used to not think much about kissing, she's always treated it casually...until she got with Prince Hugo. The Princess never felt casual about him, she couldn’t. He rewrote her brain the moment she saw him.
“I love you.” Princess Sofia murmur against his lips.
“I love you too.” Hugo whispers back.
Chapter 5: Day Four: Hanging Out With Friends
Summary:
Prince Hugo hangs out with Sofia's Village friends Ruby and Jade.
Chapter Text
"Explain to me how why I'm doing this again." Hugo groaned as he looked into the shopping cart where her Sofia and her friends sat. Each of them holding a gallon of milk.
"We're doing it for the movie!" Ruby explained, pointing over to Jade and Sofia. "What you need to do is push us, then we'll smack the others with the milk jugs."
That had to be the most idiotic thing that Hugo has ever heard since he started hanging around with his girlfriend's friends. They didn't mind it, ever since Sofia's boyfriend started to be more sociable with the group of girls.
"You know when you do this you're going to be in so much trouble." Hugo said giving them a kinda pissed off look.
"Don't worry sweetie, we know that." Sofia looked over to the other two. "You ready?" Sofia shouted. "Yeah we are." Ruby and Jade replied. Off to the side lines stood Lucinda holding up a camera with her wand. "Ready to record any time now." She added.
"On the count of three we go." Jade said. "One...Two...THREE!" with that Ruby started to push the cart that hold Meg and Peg started to push the other cart.
Just as that past Ruby and Jade smacked the other two the with milk jugs. Causing the floor and themselves to get covered in chocolate milk.
"Got it!" Lucinda exclaimed holding up her phone. Bright smile spreading her lips.
Though that had to be the most childish thing he has participated in, Hugo couldn't help but to laugh.
Chapter 6: Day Five: On One Of Their Birthdays
Summary:
Basically When Hugo Confessed his feelings to Sofia on her Birthday.
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
Princess Sofia has a crush on Prince Hugo.
Hugo likes Sofia back.
But they wouldn't confess it. So they only told Princess Amber about it.
They should've known better than to tell her.
Who would've known she put the two lovebirds' faith in his hands?
It all started on Sofia's birthday, on the Royal Prep courts. Sofia was just having practice, and Hugo was about to tell Sofia happy birthday.
"Sofia, h-" Prince Hugo was then interrupted by Hildegard holding out her leg so he would trip, with our trickster hoping that when Sofia landed on top of Hugo, it would make their love bloom.
However, it did something way unexpected.
Hugo's lips met Sofia's.
So there they were, on the ground, lip locked. Hildegard didn't mind his plan went wrong a bit, she was too busy laughing along with Princess Amber and Princess Clio. Princess Vivian just stared at the scene while Prince James and Prince Zander sighed.
"That's your birthday gift to Sofia?" Clio asked, laughing like crazy. "Yep!" Hildegard replied, trying not to go too far with his laugh.
Somehow, Hugo heard the laughs.
"(My gift?)" The Prince thought. "(Hildegard … this is the best gift ever. Although I suspect you'll be punished by Fauna after I'm done with this kiss.)"
Sofia then started to deepen the "kiss", causing Hugo to blush, and the laughing increased.
"(Wait, is she kissing me back? Does that me she loves me too?)" That was single thought that suddenly ran through the prince's mind.
Then Hugo started to kiss back, causing Sofia to blush too. Soon, they were in a deep passionate kiss, both blushing, with all the regulars now joined in on the laughter which was so loud that tears were rolling from their eyes.
When the two broke apart, each of their faces were bright red and they exchanged that classic "I love you". They got up and noticed the other regulars laughing so hard right now, that they were on the ground. Hugo looked at Sofia, who then nodded, when they heard Fauna's punishment.
"Amber, Vivian, James, Clio, Hildegard, Zander! ALL OF YOU! 100 LAPS AROUND THE COURT, NOW!"
The others stopped laughing and obeyed. Nobody did stared at Hildegard for making them do the laps, but for a slight moment, she saw Sofia planting a kiss on Hugo's cheek while they winked at her like they were saying "thank you".
Oh, this was so worth the laps.
Notes:
Sofia's not doing laps because it's her birthday. Hugo was just visiting her.
Chapter 7: Day Six: Flirting
Summary:
Just Prince Hugo and Sofia Flirting with each other.
Chapter Text
Hi how is it going
Prince Hugo's arms wrapped around Sofia's small frame tightly, not wanting to let her go. He tried not to hug her too hard, knowing that his strong arm could possibly hurt her. Hugo looked down at her, a small smile on his face.
“You’re so beautiful…” The Prince whispered in her ear as Sofia blushed.
“And you’re just so damn attractive…” Princess Sofia smirked as Hugo smiled.
“You know I love you, right?” He asked her, lifting her up to carry her bridal style.
“I thought you hated me,” Sofia smirked, playing fake sorrow as she looked into his eyes.
Hugo let out a small chuckle as he pecked her forehead. “Of course I hate you.” He played a fake look of innocence as he looked sideways, then down at her.
“If you hate me, why are you carrying me?” Sofia asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
“You want me to just drop you then?” Hugo asked her, lifting her higher, then letting go of her. Before she could hit the ground he wrapped his arms around her again.
“Don’t you ever do that again!” Sofia yelped as she lightly punched him in the arm.
“Hey, that hurt,” The prince gave her a fake frown as she smiled widely.
“Good. I wanted it too.” Her tone wasn’t harsh or rude, it was more of a squeak of victory.
“Well, sense you wanted it to hurt, maybe, just maybe, I should drop you…” His lips turned up and into a smirk as Sofia hurriedly gripped the back of his neck with her arms.
“You wouldn't!”
“Oh yes I would!” Prince Hugo laughed as he removed one of his hands from her back.
“Hugo Please, you put your arm back so I don’t fall or no cuddling for a week!” Princess Sofia yelped as she gripped him tighter.
“Well, I don’t follow rules. Sucks to be you…” He smirked as he gave her a small kiss on the forehead, setting her back on the ground.
“You little rebel.” She chuckled as she pushed her finger onto his nose.
“I try my best.” Hugo smiled at her, giving Sofia a small kiss on the lips.
Chapter 8: Day Seven: Cuddling Somewhere
Summary:
Cuddling with Sofia on the couch is one of Hugo's favorite moments he has with her.
Chapter Text
All alone now. Together no one else but the both of them. The room is quiet as can be and Prince Hugo can see his own girlfriend breathing in and out. What a soothing thought. His mind is full of her and no one else. As Hugo cuddled her as Sofia was reading her book. Nothing else, just the two of them on the couch together living the night.
Sure the couch was cramped but that's what made it better. Him snuggling up to her tighter and tighter. Nothing else, just the two of them and that's what he loved. There's nothing better than him hugging every inch of her body and his feelings all over the place. Prince Hugo has a pretty girlfriend, he has a pretty girlfriend. God's he's so damn lucky. Really really lucky, he doesn't even know what Sofia even sees in him but it's great that she loved him equally like he does.
His arms wrapped around her waist, legs intertwined, and his lips resting the back of her neck. It's great isn't it. Hugo must be the luckiest Prince in the world to have such a great caring girlfriend. That only girl that claimed his eyes. The Prince only has his own eyes for her and no one else. Sweet blue orbs that he loves to see. The cutest eyes he's ever seen. Nothing makes him melt more than Princess Sofia. It's only her forever. No one else in his mind.
The Princesses back touching his chest must be a blessing. She's soft, extremely soft. Feeling her chest as she breathes in and out. A great feeling. He's madly in love with Sofia; it's a great feeling, he thought. Nothing can replace this kind of touch that he's craving.
"You know I love you a lot right …." Prince Hugo murmured, having a tight feeling on his chest and nothing else. He feels like a boy confessing his feelings for the first time.
Just a giggle as a response.
God's he can hear her giggle for days nothing else. Music to his ears. Sofia's tone is so good nothing else can compare to that. He's deeply in love with her; he's soft of someone that he deeply cares about forever.
"Yeah… I do … I love you too.."
Hugo only hugged her tighter. Smiling, flustered to the max. He loves her more than anything. She’s so precious to him. Even though she can take care of herself, Hugo still worries about her no matter what.
"Mmmm…..you know what?"
"What" he peeked out his head right next to her as he snuggled her.
"I think I'll stop reading for now, what about we just take a nap? Hm? Am I a genius or what?"
Hugo gave Sofia a kiss on the cheek. "That's a perfect idea babe… I think I'll like that"
Only a chuckle came out.
Princess Sofia puts the book down. Takes a deep breath. Gets more comfortable and there she was, happy as she could be.
Hugo only cuddled her more. Her warmth was perfect, nothing else can replace that.
What a great day he thought.
Chapter 9: Day Eight: Shyness
Summary:
Prince Hugo loses his nerve when he tries to tell Sofia how he feels
Chapter Text
“Hi, Sofia.” Prince Hugo grins, sits down next to her in the courtyard.
Princess Sofia smiled at him. “Hi.”
Hugo swallows, licks his lips. “I've, uh, I’ve got something to tell you.”
“Me too.”
“Oh? You wanna go first?”
The princess shakes her head. “You can.”
The words are in his throat–right on the tip of his tongue–when they get stuck.
“Hugo?”
“You know.” He shakes his head. “Nevermind. You go.”
It’s the soft press of his lips against Sofia's that shocks him the most.
Hugo almost forgets to kiss her back.
It’s a short thing–the kind of thing that leaves Hugo desperate for more. Sofia's forehead leans against his.
“I like you,” she murmured. “I hope that’s okay.”
Prince Hugo smiles, leans in to kiss Sofia again. “S'more than okay.”
Chapter 10: Day Nine: Gazing into Each Other's Eyes
Summary:
Just Hugo and Sofia making out before rehearsing for a play.
Chapter Text
Prince Hugo's hands were on his hips as soon as him and Sofia met up in the janitor closet, Sofia gripped onto the black shirt and pulled her partner into a slow kiss, hoping that Prince Hugo could taste the burning want that she was feeling.
Gazing into each other's eyes whilst singing to each other and those few seconds where their hands touched had made Princess Sofia system crackle with a need that made her feel human.
She was pressed against the back of the door, gasping into the kiss as Hugo pressed over the bruises he'd left on Sofia's hips the night before. "'It's only a rehearsal, -ah- no one's gonna see."
"We have five minutes at most, Hugo." Princess Sofia murmured, arching against him.
"Less talkin' then, Sofia" His mouth was back on Sofia's, hot and heavy, rubbing his thumbs in circles on Sofia's hips.
The Princess slid one hand up into Prince Hugo's hair, deepening the kiss and ignoring every warning that was popping up in his mind.
Somehow they were in their places beneath the stage at the right time, Sofia humming and Hugo stretching. He winked at Sofia before standing in his starting pose.
Princess Sofia was raised up on stage, full of energy as their performance of This is...! started.
Chapter 11: Day Ten: Doing Something Ridiculous
Summary:
Nothing will stop Sofia from jumping into a pile of leaves. Not even her boyfriend.
Chapter Text
A massive pile of leaves sat in the backyard of Hugo's castle, pristine and perfect, just waiting to be picked up.
Princess Sofia smiled, thinking back to when James and her would be assigned the job of raking their backyard, but they would never get it done because as soon as the pile was big enough, they would go piling into it, spreading the leaves all over the yard again.
She pulled on a sweater to protect her from the chill, heading outside to look for Hugo. She saw there was no sign of him, only the rake leaning against the house, so she wandered closer to the pile, fully immersing herself in memories of James and her.
“I swear, if you jump in there and ruin it, I won't be the one cleaning it again.”
The princess whirled around, seeing Hugo emerge from the back door courtyard with trash bags, making his way over to her with a smirk.
“I was thinking about when I used to do that with my brother, but I was not planning on jumping in currently.” Sofia chuckled, wrapping an arm around his waist as they faced the pile.
He hummed. “Too bad. That would have been a sight to see.” He kissed her temple, meeting her outstretched arm with one of his own around her shoulders.
“Even if it meant having to rake the leaves up again?” Princess Sofia taunted.
“Well, I still wouldn’t be the one cleaning them up, but I reiterate, the sight of you leaping into a pile of leaves would be fun to see.”
“It could still happen, you know.” She purred as they turned to face each other, sliding her cold hands up his chest and to his warm neck, watching as he hissed, but didn’t move her hands away.
“And how exactly would that happen?” Prince Hugo raised an eyebrow, daring her, and she took the challenge.
Sofia smiled smugly, wrapping her arms fully around his neck before falling sideways, trusting her weight to pull him off balance and let him tumble with her into the cushion of leaves.
They were laughing before they hit the pile, sending a heap of leaves into the air which settled on top of them, covering them from head to toe.
Quickly, she straddled him, resting her elbows on his chest and propping her chin up so that she could stare down at him. “Exactly like that.” Sofia cheeked, leaves still fluttering down around them.
Hugo laughed, admiring the woman on top of him with leaves in her hair and covering her clothes, a pink flush appearing on her cheeks and the tips of her ears turning red from the cold. Hugo pulled her down for a kiss, taking his turn to rest his cold fingers on her neck which made Sofia yelp, but she quickly forgot all about it, relaxing into his kiss instead.
He couldn’t imagine any place better.
Chapter 12: Day Eleven: Doing Something Hot
Summary:
Sofia was glad she wore that dress Hugo is crazy about.
Notes:
Warning Light Smut Incoming!
Chapter Text
Hugo had her pushed against the wall with his left arm over her chest, mouth meeting hers in a messy kiss. His hand slipping into her panties to grind the heel of his palm against her clit while two fingers are pistoned in and out of her.
Sofia's knees felt weak at the touch. The pads of them just grazing over the spot that makes her tremble.
The darkness of the room consumed her. His heavy breathing, the wet sounds of their mouths together, and the sounds of the party in the other room. Princess Sofia moaned hotly against Hugo's lips as his fingers focussed a little more on that spongy spot. God, it felt so good. Princess Sofia could come like this, filled with his fingers, her clit being rubbed, and the man of her fucking dreams plastered against herr body. Sofia could feel the hard outline of his dick on herr dress. He’d warned her that she shouldn’t wear that tight, blue dress to the party with those shiny, expensive black heels. Princess Sofia looked delectable, good enough to eat in his eyes.
It made her feel invincible.
Sofia never knew that she had an exhibitionist side before this moment. She was more than willing to get down on the dirty floor and ride Hugo to Heaven and Hell, but alas, he wouldn’t let you fucking move .
“Hugo,” Princess Sofia moaned out, breaking away from the kiss with a tilt of her head. Sofia felt her knees trembling and she reached up to grab ahold of his brown leather jacket, head hitting the wall and breathing out whines and moans. The Princess couldn’t help it. She felt herself get even wetter as she heard his labored breathing in her ear, and felt his hips start to grind against the side of her left leg. Sofia felt good that this was affecting him just as much as her.
“Fuck, darling,” his deep voice only turned her on even more. It was like a drug, his voice rough and low in her ear. Another, louder moan made its way out of Sofia, and Hugo was quick to take his left hand and press it against her mouth.
“Shh! There's people in the other room.”
Princess Sofia felt herself shudder. She'd almost forgotten about the other people, so close to her climax. Hugo's movements got slower, his fingers deep inside of her, remaining to grind against her sweet spot until all she could do was tremble under him and hope that he’d let her come right here, right now, and now have to wait until they two got home.
Princess Sofia felt Hugo shudder and his hips stutter against her. She cursed him lightly in her mind, but the thought of him coming on her because of what she was doing to him was way too hot for Sofia to be mad at him for long.
Sofia's breathing picked up, and fire shot down her spine and spilled into her lower stomach as Hugo's movements got faster, faster, faster, until Sofia felt herself come over his hand and all over her thighs. Prince Hugo kept moving, but slower, letting Sofia ride out her orgasm slowly, grinding herself against his hand despite his unrelenting hold.
Once Sofia finally calmed, Hugo pulled his hand out of her panties, pulling back and fucking sucking the come from between his fingers, tongue flicking against the long, nimble digits that made her melt.
Then, Hugo leaned forward again to rest his head between the juncture of her throat and shoulder. Once his hand was clean, pulling up her panties and pulling down her dress, Hugo whispered in Sofia's ear.
“We’re not finished, sweetheart. Let’s say we get out of here and go somewhere else, yeah?”
Princess Sofia nodded, taking a deep breath as Hugo pulled away, trying to keep herself from pressing her thighs together at his words. This was going to be a long, wonderful night.
Chapter 13: Day Twelve: Doing Something Sweet
Summary:
The moment Sofia realized how much Hugo is obsessed with her.
Chapter Text
„Hmmm…Hugo?“
„What's wrong?“
„Why do you love me, Hugo?”
As if Prince Hugo had waited for this question for all his life, he answered without any hesitation.
“You know of my unrivaled sweet tooth, right?”
“…Yeah?”
Then, he turned to face Sofia and said earnestly, “You are so unbelievably sweet that just spending time with you gives me more serotonin than any piece of chocolate or pastry could ever give me.”
Princess Sofia had expected a lot. Anything, really. Just not that. From Hugo.
Silence.
For a few seconds, the couple just stared at each other; Sofia was too stunned to speak honestly. Until, with every passing second, her boyfriend’s face grew hotter and hotter until it was the shade of a ripe tomato. Hastily, Hugo covered it with his hands as he fell sideways onto the couch. He wanted to vanish into thin air.
Then, Sofia finally started laughing wholeheartedly as she glomped him (making herself land on top of his muscular back) and cuddled him.
“Aaaww Hugo, you’re soooo sweet. I didn’t even know you were such a sweet-talker!”
“Hmmmhhngh!!!”, was all he grumbled in utter embarrassment. Hugo knew what she just did there!
Now Hugo finally understood what Axel meant with “When it comes to Princess Sofia, you always make a fool of yourself, it’s quite cute and funny to watch hahahaha”, because he was so right. Why did he think it was okay to say something like that out loud? Somehow, his brain just shut down whenever Hugo was with Sofia and the coolheaded Hugo flew, not only out the window, but all the way to the damn moon.
Chapter 14: Day Thirteen: Seducing One Another
Summary:
Princess Sofia attempts to seduce Prince Hugo and she is completely successful in doing so.
Chapter Text
Prince Hugo lay on the riverbank, gazing up at the star-studded sky. The gentle night wind played with the leaves, sending them tumbling into the river's subtle current. The Prince closed his eyes, savoring the warmth of the midsummer air. He was on the brink of drifting into unconsciousness when the sweetest scent tickled his sensitive nose. A smile crept onto his face as he inhaled the pleasant aroma carried on the breeze, scarcely conscious of his own actions. Only moments passed before he heard a soft rustling from behind, the noise of a small figure pushing its way through the underbrush.
"Hugo?" a tender voice floated through the night. It was a voice that made his heart leap with joy and anticipation, a voice he could never tire of. One that belonged to Princess Sofia. The sound of her footsteps drew nearer until she stopped beside him on the riverbank. Prince Hugo continued to watch the sky, ignoring her arrival. "Whadya want?" he asked curtly. The girl didn't respond but instead took a seat beside him. Noticing her silence, the puzzled Prince turned his head to regard her.
His eyes met Sofia's tender gaze, and suddenly she smiled. Prince Hugo, thrown by her expression, quickly rose to a sitting position. "W-what?" he growled, his ears flattening against his head in annoyance at her inexplicable behavior. But Princess Sofia merely continued smiling and moved closer, so close that their bodies were nearly touching, and their eye contact remained unbroken. The young man was on the brink of yelling again when suddenly, she lifted her hand to his cheek. Her warm fingertips gently caressed his skin. Surprised, Hugo's eyes widened, and he tried to speak, but she hushed him with a finger to his lips. 'What the hell is she doing?!' Prince Hugo was taken aback by her actions. Sofia, seeing his dumbfounded expression, bit her lip to stifle the laughter bubbling up inside her.
"Just… Relax…" Princess Sofia whispered seductively, leaning in even closer. She placed her other hand on his chest and adjusted her position so she was straddling his lap.
Hugo whined as she pressed her hips into his, wiggling to find a more comfortable position. The Princess continued stroking his face before her hands moved to his hair, venturing towards his sensitive ears. She began to gently massage the tips of his soft, ears. Abruptly, she felt something stiffen beneath her. "Sofia! No, stop!" Prince Hugo cried, grabbing her hands. His body was reacting in ways he didn't want her to misconstrue as perverse.
"Why? Did I hurt you? Did it feel uncomfortable?" Princess Sofia asked with her innocent, doe-like eyes.
Hugo released a frustrated growl. 'As if she doesn't know how it felt!' "You…" he started to say, but his words were silenced by her soft, warm lips. His eyes widened at her unusual assertiveness.
"I'm sorry… I just wanted to make you feel good," Sofia murmured, breaking the kiss.
"It did feel… good. It just felt too good," Hugo confessed in a husky voice. Princess Sofia withdrew her hands from his relaxed hold and moved them between their bodies. "So, you don't want to feel good… like this?" She queried, stroking the bulge in the startled Prince pants. Hugo sharply drew in breath through gritted teeth.
With a gentle shove, The Princess had him reclining on the grass, her seated atop him. Hugo was nearly consumed by the desire throbbing within him. He had never felt such weakness. His only option was to surrender to her, like a tamed pup. Sofia had him ensnared, first with the enchanted amulet and now with her feminine allure, yet he would do anything to experience the pleasure she was inducing.
The Princess was thrilled by the hardness of her lover growing under her touch. "Sofia!" Prince Hugo groaned. She smiled and removed her hand from his arousal. Deprived of her touch, Prince Hugo let out a high-pitched whine, quivering with need. "Please," he breathed, hands moving to her hips. All reason had left him; the only thing on his mind was Sofia.
Without hesitation, Sofia pulled her dress over her head, swiftly followed by the unclasping of her bra. Hugo was offered an unobstructed view of her soft, round breasts, which bounced lightly once freed from their lacy confines. Impulsively, his hands rose to caress her breasts and to twirl the tips between his fingers. Sofia moaned softly, further inflaming his desire. After a few teasing moments, Princess Sofia gently removed her boyfriend's hands from her chest. His look of slight confusion melted away once he realized why she had halted his actions. Standing, Sofia removed the rest of her clothing, delighting in Hugo's stupefied expression, which she found utterly endearing.
Her cheery giggle filled the air as Hugo watched her so intently that he failed to notice the drool trickling from the corner of his mouth. The Princess gestured for him to stand and join her. It didn't take long for Prince Hugo to leap to his feet and stride towards her. Princess Sofia simply regarded him with a mischievous sparkle in her eyes and instructed him to shed his garments. He hastily removed his clothes, and just as he reached the ties of his suit, Sofia stopped him, sinking to her knees before him. She was amused by the sight of his , straining against his sizable arousal. With painstaking slowness, Sofia untied his hakama, liberating the pulsating hardness within, the white precum glistening at its tip a testament to his anticipation.
"Ooh… Sofia," Prince Hugo moaned as Sofia indulged her curiosity, gently tasting the moist tip of his arousal. The flavor was salty, slightly peculiar, but she continued to lavish it with kisses and licks along its length. The young man lifted his hands to her hair and gently drew her head closer to his throbbing member. Princess Sofia smiled against the skin of his shaft, understanding his longing. She knew he wouldn't be sated with mere caresses and kisses. Similarly, the wetness between her thighs signaled her readiness and desire to go further, as far as he wished.
Princess Sofia pulled away from her boyfriend and positioned herself so that her hands and knees were on the ground, her bared posterior facing him. This tantalizing invitation was almost too much for Hugo, and she further tempted him by lowering her torso until she was in a comfortable position, her behind in the air. Barely able to contain himself, Prince Hugo eagerly approached, taking a firm grip on her hips and rubbing his arousal against her wetness. "What are you waiting for?" Princess Sofia teased, pushing back against his hips. A flash of red flickered in the prince's eyes as he lost control at the sound of her seductive voice. With one swift move, he penetrated her, making both lovers cry out.
After an extended period of their bodies moving rhythmically together, the sensations became too intense for Princess Sofia, and she cried out as an orgasm swept through her. Prince Hugo felt her walls tighten around him, rhythmically squeezing him. Overcome by sensation, he stiffened and released a primal howl as he filled her with his seed. Panting heavily, he collapsed on top of her sweat-slicked body, which shimmered in the pale moonlight. Regaining his senses, The prince was about to pull out when Sofia asked him to stay. He responded by wrapping his arms around her, pulling her as close as possible. Hugo nuzzled his face into her hair, exhaling a contented sigh. Princess Sofia was finally in his arms - warm, enticing, and far from the sometimes irritating girl she could be.
His eyes had just closed in relaxation when he felt her inner muscles begin to squeeze him again. "Huh?" Hugo murmured, prompting a giggle from Sofia. "Are you up for round two?" she asked, moving her hips against his. Prince Hugo said nothing — only smirked.
Chapter 15: Day Fourteen: Marriage Proposal
Summary:
It's Princess Sofia's 18th birthday, and Prince Hugo has a special gift for her.
Chapter Text
Prince Hugo closed the outer door to Sofia's castle behind him, and paused with his hand on the doorknob. Princess Sofia sat on the top doorstep, and as he watched, he saw her shiver in a sudden cold wind that swept past them.
Inside, he knew, her family would be cleaning up from the little party they'd had for Sofia, Amber perhaps picking up the streamers from the small poppers he'd used to punctuate the ending of "Happy Birthday," with James helping her, and King Roland was probably snagging an extra piece of cake, even after he'd said he was full.
Or, perhaps, they were at the window, watching him as he sat down next to Sofia. He smiled at them, and waved. Caught, all four awkwardly grinned and disappeared from the frame. Princess Amber was last and Hugo saw her mouthing something that looked like, "Go on," before she was gone, too. It wouldn't be long, Hugo supposed, until they were back again.
Princess Sofia smiled when he sat down, and laced her right arm through his left, cuddling close.
"It's cold," she said.
"Here," Prince Hugo said, and moving his arm out from hers, he took his suit jacket off and draped it around her shoulders.
She put her hands in the sleeves and wrapped it tight around herself. Sofia sighed, and then said, "Oh, such a long day."
"I'm not denying that," Prince Hugo said, and then asked, "Did you enjoy your party?"
"Of course. It's just that, with everything, I mean, I like surprises but sometimes, they can just be...interesting"
"Believe me, I know. At least, we made it through, right?"
"Right."
Hugo raised his left hand, and caressed her cheek. Princess Sofia leaned into it, smiling gently. She laced her arm through his again and put her head on his shoulder.
Hugo said, "Do you remember when I said I had another gift for you?" He didn't wait for her answer, but continued, "Check my left coat pocket."
Princess Sofia reached in, pulling out a black velvet covered box.
Hugo took it from her before she could open it, but didn't open it himself. Sofia stared at him, mouth open.
The Princess started to speak, but he held up a hand and said, "Just, wait a minute, I know if you start talking, my speech will go by the wayside, and I really want to say this."
She nodded, her eyes bright.
He said, "I know I'm not supposed to ask you like this." Prince Hugo turned the box over and over in his hands, not looking at her. "I should have taken you out for a fancy dinner, a play, something like that, but it didn't seem right."
He opened the box, taking out a ring with a stone that glittered in the moonlight. "Simple seemed better."
Sofia said, "Oh, Hugo" and put her left hand on his cheek. Prince Hugo, looked up, eyes serious and dark.
She smiled, encouragingly.
Hugo took her hand from his cheek and put the ring on her ring finger. "I love you, Princess Sofia. What do you say? Will you marry me?"
Sofia bounced a little on the step, and then her arms went flying around his neck, drawing him into a hug. Hugo laughed. "I'll take that as a yes."
"Oh, yes, definitely, yes." Princess Sofia gave him a smacking kiss. "Now, that, Hugo, was a good surprise."
"Better than good, I hope."
"Did I say good? I meant--wonderful."
Prince Hugo kissed her in earnest, and somewhere in the midst, he hoped that the four watching in the window were getting a good show.
They were.
Chapter 16: Day Fifteen: One of Them Is Sick
Summary:
Princess Sofia deals with a stuffed-up pampered prince on bed rest.
Chapter Text
“I want to die,” Prince Hugo sniffed
Princess Sofia patted his shoulder with an indulgent smile, and pulled the blanket over the curled body of her fiancee.
“Somehow I think you’ll find the strength within you to keep fighting. It’s just a cold.”
“Jusb a cold? This night be a flu, it’s worsede. Like a million colds at once!” Prince Hugo groaned, swiveling his head dramatically, causing the bangs to flop over his eye. A clear sign that he was sick that he didn’t bother to sweep it off. Suddenly he sat up.
“Whab about you! Your protector job!” He cried
Princess Sofia brushed a stray hair out of his face for him a smile creeping on her face as she looked. Even though his skin was ashen, his usually bouncy brunette hair limp and stringy, his eyes were bloodshot and his nose was as stuffed as a toy, she thought he was still cute. Maybe not physically but his concern for her time and her work was endearing.
But the matter was that even though she maintained her independence, her hero work and travels, since dating Hugo, her amulet allowed her more flexibility to allow her time to make this long distance relationship work. Including times like these, caring for Hugo.
Now Hugo was almost a grown man but he was practically useless when he was sick. Physically unable to get out of bed, utterly useless. He couldn’t even get lunch without his servants, take his medicine or get tissues. King Garrick said he was always like that when he was sick and it clearly hadn’t changed over the years.
Princess Sofia didn’t indulge such childish antics except for an extreme case. Hugo was correct he had the flu, two nights ago, but it had broke by now. She was doing this because he still wasn’t up to his normal strength, and-she’d never admit this outloud- but she thought he was sweet when he was sick. Not when he was refusing to swallow his medicine and such, but the grateful smiles Hugo gave her that he truly appreciated her time. Sometimes falling asleep together when she sang. It was an oddly peaceful time.
“I’m gonna make you some food that will help clear your sinuses. You stay here and try to go to sleep,” Sofia told him. Hugo did so, burying his head under the pillow with a loud moan.
When she came back from chopping sage and thyme, Prince Hugo had fallen off the bed and was staring dazedly at the wall.
“Sofia, fuddy ting. I can’d ged up,” Hugo said. She could swear the stuffiness was getting worse.
Princess Sofia placed the bowl of piping chicken soup that the cook had made on the dresser and swept him up in an army lift James taught her in self-defense. She gently placed him into the bed, rearranged the pillows and pulled the blanket over again, and made sure the tissue box was close by.
“Here, some soup.” She handed the bowl and he managed a wry grin.
“Danks!” Hugo took a slurp and spewed it across the bed, violently coughing.
“Sorry! I did’d mean do!” Hugo cried, getting off the bed to start wiping the blanket when he dizzily fell again.
“Hugo rest. I got this,” Sofia insisted, gently shoving him back to the pillows so she could strip the sheets and wrangle up new blankets from the back of the closet. Where Hugo only mildly shivered when left without his comforter for a minute. He learned two sick days ago that she wouldn’t put up with complaining when they both knew she was helping him.
Well, maybe one or two complaints slipped.
“Jou devil woman! Jour are drill tryin’ do kill me,” Hugo mock-glared when he was seized by another harsh sneeze.
Princess Sofia simply shook her head when she shook the cough medicine bottle, “This will help ease the burning feeling and some of the stuffiness.”
“Tank you!” He croaked
Sofia put a finger to his lips despite the germs, “Rest your voice.”
“Bud I like talkging wid jou. Jour inderesing. More than the wall,” Hugo smiled.
Sofia turned away but knew Hugo could see her bite her lips as the ends curled up into a half-smile. Another reason that she became his semi-reluctant caretaker.
They got to talk together. Brief conversations that Hugo sometimes fell asleep in the middle of, but it was nice nonetheless. It was usually mundane reminisces or stories of olden sick days but it was a pleasing pastime.
Princess Sofia put a hand to his forehead and smiled at him once more, seeing how his eyes were drooping closed despite Hugo's efforts to remain upright and awake. To continue to try talking to her, “You’re less hot. So you’ll probably be better soon. And you’re not going to die.”
“Good,” Prince Hugo said, “Bud I’m glad jou were here wid me if I did.”
“Me too,” Princess Sofia softly whispered, “I better go now. Hopefully, you’ll feel better when you’re awake.”
“I will be. I alwayd wand to be wid jou,” Prince Hugo smiled, drifting off at last.
Chapter 17: Day Sixteen: Holidays
Summary:
Princess Sofia and Prince Hugo admire their Christmas Tree.
Chapter Text
Prince Hugo stood looking at the Christmas tree before him. It was unlike anything he had ever had as a child. There were no Waterford icicles and no glass balls. This tree was popcorn chains and handmade ornaments. He smiled, fingering the poorly crafted reindeer he had made just that afternoon. His lack of experience in these things was painfully obvious next to the carefully glittered stars and ornately cut snowflakes also hanging before him. However, whatever the result of his artwork, Hugo had to admit it had been a perfect day listening to Christmas music and making decorations.
His musings were interrupted by the light lingering touch of a hand on his arm.
"Here's your cocoa."
Prince Hugo turned towards Princess Sofia, taking the mug from her hand and placing it on the mantle before drawing her into his arms.
"I was just admiring your work with glitter" murmured Hugo appreciatively.
"You were getting better by the end of the day," said Sofia with a smile as she looked with some amount of pity at the reindeer Hugo had been examining just moments ago.
"Maybe we should get rid of that one" suggested Hugo, crinkling his nose as he followed her gaze.
"Absolutely not! We're keeping that reindeer to show our future children someday. We'll call it Daddy's first ornament."
They both laughed before sharing a kiss. "I have something for you" said Prince Hugo quietly, releasing Sofia long enough to retrieve a small wrapped box.
The excited light in Princess Sofia's eyes belied the scolding way she said his name as she carefully opened the package. Inside was an expensive looking hand painted ornament. On one side was a picture of the enchanted lake with the date; the other side said "First Christmas".
Princess Sofia was silent.
"I know we said only handmade decorations, but I thought it would be nice to have a special ornament to remind us of this year…" stammered Hugo, suddenly wondering if he would ever grow out of this seeming ability to constantly do the wrong thing.
"It's beautiful, Hugo" said Princess Sofia, finally looking up, her eyes happy and full of tears. She carried it over and carefully hung it on the tree next to Hugo's reindeer.
"I love you!" she said coming close again and throwing her arms around him.
It really had been a perfect day.
"I love you too, Sofia."
Chapter 18: Day Seventeen: Making Out
Summary:
Princess Sofia is having trouble sleeping so Prince Hugo decides to tire his fiance out with kisses.
Chapter Text
“Go to bed Sofia.” Prince Hugo mumbled tiredly.
“I am in bed, you go to bed.” Princess Sofia retorted playfully, eyes examining Hugo's sleepy face. His eyes were closed and his thick eyebrows are scrunched in annoyance. The Princess was moving around too much in bed, Sofia knew, but she also couldn’t help that she was just not sleepy.
So who gets to deal with an energetic Sofia? The lucky man Hugo does.
“Mmm.. I am in bed.” Prince Hugo parroted Sofia while shifting to a more comfortable position, voice rough from being on the verge of unconsciousness.
Princess Sofia kept looking at him. The dull shade of circles under his ever so slightly puffy eyes being a testament to his drowsiness. The faint lines on his strong brows were visible, but not enough muscle used to show the lines on his forehead.
Princess Sofia scooted closer to Prince Hugo, hearing his breathing hitch for a second. She pressed her soft lips against the tip of his straight, modestly wide nose. Hugo groaned childishly when Sofia did this, but made zero effort to move.
So she continued.
Two more pecks to his nose and her lips moved to his own. They were naturally pursed, but not so much where one would notice it from a close distance, only if they paid attention very, very closely. His lips seemed a bit dry, going hours without anything to soften them.
Not that he used any.
Princess Sofia pecked his lips, pulling back and awaiting any reaction.
... He didn’t react. Hm. Next.
Sofia planted her lips against his chin this time, notably at the dip of his chin and going along his defined jawline a little. Pulling away, she noticed a few blemishes there and a tiny scratch that’s somewhat difficult to see.
Participating in Flying Derby has done wonders to her skin and Hugo's, so much that she only sees him breakout whenever he’s under too much stress, which is very rarely. Thankfully so.
Even if Prince Hugo was under stress, he didn’t breakout much. However, it was her only indication that allows Princess Sofia to know that Hugo had a rough week. The Prince didn’t show it through expression, he always refused to do so, but his skin said it all.
Once she kissed Hugo's flat chin again and he didn’t move, Sofia decided to just go ahead and go for the lips once more. If Hugo was truly asleep she'd stop, but his soft breathing gave him away. Princess Sofia moved to peck his lips, but instead of waiting to see his reaction, she closed her eyes and kept kissing him. Sofia's lips didn’t move away from his, she stayed in that same, exact spot and kept pecking him; humming with each kiss she gave and feeling his bottom lip jitter a bit.
One kiss.
Another.
One more.
Anothe- Prince Hugo nipped her.
“Mmph! Hey..”
Princess Sofia pulled back, about to pout at him until she saw his face. Sofia held back a giggle threatening to come up. Prince Hugo was nearly glaring at her with the best ‘The fuck do you want?’ look.
“You asked for it.” Hugo said gravelly, his folded, half-lidded blue eyes staring intently at his fiance. The soft, messy-haired man moved an arm to prop himself up on his elbow, his eyesight clearing upon staring down at Princess Sofia as she mimicked his movement.
“I just want a goodnight kiss from you, Hugo. Please..?” Princess Sofia asked as sickeningly sweet and soft as she can.
Prince Hugo breathes in, then sighs in defeat, dark irises averting and feigning pondering. “Since you said please..” Hugo moved now, pushing himself closer to Princess Sofia, noting how much she tried to mask her giddiness, but failed almost miserably. Hugo fought off a smile at how adorable Princess Sofia looked.
Hugo places a rough hand under Sofia's chin and jaw, bringing her in for a gentle brush of his lips against her own, before he amorously presses them together. Princess Sofia happily returned the kiss, the two of them sitting there for seconds just giving light, downy pecks to each other.
Princess Sofia hummed excitedly. This was it! That’s all she really wanted. Just to play with him for a bit, get him to play with her, then go to sleep. Tomorrow morning: she'll make herself wake up early to cook him breakfast for bed as an apology, maybe put some berries in the pancakes, especially since he found some juicy berries earlier this evening and-
“Oh!”
Sofia was suddenly shoved onto her back, mind quickly registering that Prince Hugo was above her with an evil glint in his eyes. She gulped.
Uh oh.
Sofia smiled up at him nervously, flustered at his assertiveness. She opened her mouth to say something, but as soon as she did, Prince Hugo took advantage of the opportunity and deepens the kiss. His tongue pushed easily past her lips, finding her tongue and toying around with it. He explored Princess Sofia's mouth with an unwavering sense of dominance, as if he was claiming her for his own all over again.
Princess Sofia closed her eyes and tried to fight back against that dominance, tongue rolling and pressing against Hugo's with uncertainty, head moving slowly with his. It didn’t take very long for him to overcome her, hearing Sofia's muffled whine of defeat as Prince Hugo pulled away. Princess Sofia's lips felt wet and puffy, her cheeks heated as Hugo licked his lips and breathed heavily, catching his breath.
Prince Hugo didn’t wait for Sofia to fully catch hers however, not as he dipped down and caught her lips within his own again. The kiss only becomes more passionate after he elicits a muffled moan out of her. Hugo moves away occasionally to breathe a little, tongue still dancing in circles with hers, then he lowers his mouth sensually against Sofia's again.
Prince Hugo uses both of his hands to move hair out of Sofia's face, and rests his palms on both sides of her head, holding you loosely. Princess Sofia couldn’t fathom as to why he does this, but to Hugo, he wanted to gaze at all of her. Princess Sofia's head, her eyes, her wet lips, nose, and forehead. Hugo stops and plants a kiss there, then goes back shamelessly ravaging Sofia's mouth again.
Loud, wet smooches filled the room and her ears like ear candy, the occasional, erotic smack only amplifying the need to make-out with Prince Hugo longer. It felt like he was seducing her, which he is, but it was the kind of seduction that would probably drain her soul completely if the two didn’t stop. Princess Sofia's mind went dizzy and fuzzy, her hands coming up to grasp desperately at Hugo's arms for security, it felt like she was going to fall part at any moment.
Prince Hugo nipped and bit gently at Sofia's top lip, then sucked ever so slightly at her bottom lip, and finally practically shoving his tongue down her throat. Princess Sofia was overwhelmed by his pressure, legs trembling and rubbing together in a needy manner, tiny moans being forced out of her by Prince Hugo. One, random groan from Prince Hugo and she was practically on fire.
Hugo removes himself from the smooches, a thin trail of Princess Sofia's saliva mixed with his appearing, then breaking the connection. His loving, but lustful glare fixates on her, as the two lovebirds breathed heavily. “You like using that mouth so damn much.” Prince Hugo's arm went to the waistband of his pajama pants, an obvious tent there as his hand tugged on the band. Princess Sofia's eyes widened a little timidly, thighs pressing together with heat when Prince Hugo murmured his next words, the idea of breakfast in bed being thrown out the window.
“Why don’t you c’mere and put it to some use?”
Chapter 19: Day Eighteen: Gaming Or Watching Movies
Summary:
Princess Sofia and Prince Hugo watch holiday movies together.
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
“Um, Sofia'.” Prince Hugo entered the living room with a slight frown on his face. “Do you know, by any chance, where all the candy canes went?”
Princess Sofia, sitting cross-legged on the big, comfy sofa, didn’t even look up from her novel as she replied solemnly with, “Oh, I guess they must’ve walked out the door.”
A few seconds passed in silence, then she glanced up at him, and chuckled. Prince Hugo only shook his head and smirked.
“So, where did you put them?”
Sofia fluttered her eyelashes. “I ate them.”
Prince Hugo looked her up and down with narrowed eyes, trying to decide if she was being sincere.
“You did not.”
“Indeed, I didn’t,” Sofia nodded with a smile. “But I know where they are.”
“So-fia,” Hugo grumbled.
“Hu-go,” Princess Sofia imitated him with a chuckle.
“Where. Did. You. Put. Them?” he emphasised each word.
“I might tell you,” Prince Hugo started interrupting her but Princess Sofia continued before he could do so, “If you do as I say.”
The Prince narrowed his eyes at his fiance, then he carefully asked. “What do I have to do to get them back?”
Now the smile on Princess Sofia's face grew into a downright mischievous grin. “Watch a Christmas movie with me.”
Prince Hugo rolled his eyes and groaned. “Why did I ever say I love you that one night two years ago?”
Sofia just chuckled – which seemed to have become her thing – and threw a pillow at him. “’Cause you do love me.”
A small grin appeared on his lips but then he threw his hands up in the air and grumbled, “Let me prepare hot chocolate and tell me where the candy canes are. Then we’ll watch a movie.”
“Uh-huh,” Princess Sofia shook her head. “You’ll get one candy cane once the movie starts. And I’ll give you the rest after we finish the movie”
“Fine. Fine,” Hugo gave in and left for the kitchen.
Ten minutes later, he came back with two cups of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and set down next to Sofia.
“So, what’re we watching?” he sighed and leaned.
Princess Sofia grinned at him from the side and leaned in to him, resting her head on his shoulder.
“The Christmas Chronicles,” Princess Sofia said, pulled out a small candy cane from behind her back and handed it to Prince Hugo who just chuckled and wrapped his arm around her body.

Chapter 20: Day Nineteen: Night In
Summary:
Princess Sofia and Prince Hugo spend a cold winter inside where it's warm.
Chapter Text
Princess Sofia hummed absentmindedly as she placed the cookies on the tray along with the other snacks she had prepared. As she debated what else to add, Sofia felt arms slip around her waist.
Princess Sofia smiled automatically as Prince Hugo pressed his face into her neck, gently kissing her skin. Then as he rested his chin on her shoulder he reached out to grab a cookie.
Sofia tsked at him as she slapped his hand away, "These are for after dinner."
She didn't have to look at him to see his pout as Hugo squeezed her tighter. "Then let's eat, I'm hungry."
"Is it all set up?"
The Prince nodded and straightened up, before taking the snack filled tray from Princess Sofia and leading the way into the living room.
As she followed him, the lights faded from the bright kitchen lights to the dark warm glow of the Christmas lights and candles.
Sofia and Hugo had decorated the living room and covered the couch with various blankets and pillows. Now they planned to spend a cozy evening together in the living room, cuddled on the couch together watching Christmas movies.
A list of Christmas movies were queued up for them to watch as they covered her table with her favorite food, snacks and drinks. It was dark, cold and snowy outside, the perfect atmosphere for the evening.
Princess Sofia eyed the food that she and Hugo had ordered. Giggling, Prince Hugo looked over at Princess Sofia and hummed quizzically.
"We may have ordered too much food."
Prince Hugo just grinned, "It's okay, we can save them for left overs."
Princess Sofia nodded in agreement as she settled beside him, their first movie playing as Hugo laid out a blanket over to two of them.
Two movies later, they were now on the couch, Sofia's body stretched out on top across Hugo, his arms wrapped around her. The current movie played with no audience as she and Prince Hugo talked in between light kisses and soft laughter.
Princess Sofia had eaten her fill of food and desserts as the night grew later and later. She and Hugo were getting so lost in each other's company that they failed to notice the pitch black night outside.
Prince Hugo gently ran his fingers up and down her arm as Momo rested her chin on his chest. He looked down at Momo with a fond gaze as they talked about various activities to do before Christmas.
"We should go ice dancing."
"It's been a while. Can you even ice dance?" Prince Hugo chuckled.
Princess Sofia smiled up at him "I haven't gone for a long time, but we used to be pretty good."
Prince Hugo hummed "I'd like to see it."
"Then we'll go?"
He nodded, "Whatever you want."
Scooting herself up to meet his eyes Princess Sofia pressed a soft kiss to his cheek, "I want to do what you want also."
Prince Hugo stared into Princess Sofia's eyes for a moment as he brought his hand up and caressed her cheek. "I want-"
Sofia rose her brow as she waited patiently for him to decide. Prince Hugo smiled softly and she tilted her head and smiled.
"What? What do you want?"
"I just want you."
"But you already have me."
"Perfect, then I'm happy."
Princess Sofia rolled her eyes with a groan, but couldn't resist the grin that pulled at her lips.
"Come on, there's gotta be something! Anything!"
Prince Hugo chuckled and she felt his chest rumble beneath her.
"Okay, okay." He thought for a moment before his eyes lit up a bit. "What about the Christmas parade?"
Princess Sofia's eyes lit up, "We can do that!"
Hugo nodded, "We can do that, and then do some shopping and get some food."
She nodded along with him, "Sounds great."
Prince Hugo grinned before leaning up and kissing her. Resting his head back down he gently patted her head, "I really just want to spend as much time together as we can."
Princess Sofia grinned and kissed him softly, "Me too."
Laying her head back down on his chest, Princess Sofia hummed in contentment just as the credits began rolling of the third movie.
"Oh! It's over!"
Prince Hugo smiled knowing it had been the one movie Mmo really wanted to watch this evening, "Do you want me to re-start it?"
Princess Sofia chuckled before shaking her head, "No, we can watch it again another time. I'm getting sleepy anyways."
As Prince Hugo continued to caress her head, she felt herself being lulled to sleep. "Then sleep."
Princess Sofia mumbled softly, knowing they were fighting a loosing battle. "But what about spending as much time together as we can?"
Prince Hugo grinned to himself. "We have tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that until we get married. So we have plenty of time. So if you are tired, sleep. Besides, I like when you fall asleep on me."
Princess Sofia smiled as she gently gripped his shirt, unable to speak again, as she lost herself to sleep. Trying to grasp onto the last of her conscious mind, Sofia spoke what she had hoped were intelligible words.
Prince Hugo chuckled as Princess Sofia attempted to grumble out a goodnight, but only managed some soft mumbles.
Wrapping his arms around her, Prince Hugo squeezed Princess Sofia softly. "Goodnight. I love you."
Chapter 21: Day Twenty: Wearing Each Other's Clothes
Summary:
Prince Hugo has a very cute reaction when seeing his fiance Princess Sofia wearing his clothes.
Chapter Text
"Is that- is that my shirt?"
Princess Sofia glanced over her shoulder at Prince Hugo. "Yeah, it's clean and I need to do laundry, why?"
"I," Prince Hugo swallowed hard. "I'm just surprised you're wearing my shirt is all."
"Is it a problem," Princess Sofia asked, quirking an eyebrow. "I can go change if you want me to, I don't mind."
"No, don't!" Hugo squeaked. "It's fine, it's really fine." That poor man, Princess Sofia was getting him so flustered, but might as well have some fun with it.
Princess Sofia smirked and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt to bring him closer, giving him a long kiss. Sofia pulled away breathlessly, and watched him struggle to form words.
"Do you like me wearing your clothes?" Princess Sofia asked innocently, batting your eyes. "I can wear them more often if you want."
"Well yes, I mean yes you can wear them more often that is," Prince Hugo's cheeks were burning red. Who knew that Sofia wearing one of his shirts could get him like this? "Why are you, why are you doing this?" Prince Hugo tried to straighten up but Sofia was holding onto him pretty firmly.
"What, teasing you?" Prince Hugo nodded, trying not to stare too much at Sofia. "Aww, but you're just so cute like this, that's all."
"I'm not cute," Prince Hugo mumbled. "Why do you keep calling me that."
"Well you are." Princess Sofia kissed him on the cheek and finally released him, watching as Hugo stumbled back, brushing off his shirt. "And I'm going to keep telling you that, whether you like it or not

"I can't wait to be married to Hugo." Princess Sofia said leaving the room to touch up her make up again,
Meanwhile with the guys
"What if she doesn't want to marry me Axel?" Prince Hugo panicked again.
"Dude, stop. You're getting married in less than an hour." Prince Axel told his younger brother for the hundredth time.
"I know but I don't want her to leave me. I can't live without her. I love her." Prince Hugo explained pacing.
"I promise she won't leave you. She loves you. Now go and get married." Prince Axel said patting his back.
"Man, everyone is dressed in purple and Vivian looks beautiful." Prince James stated walking in the room.
"Of course everyone is in purple. That's the color theme of the wedding." Prince Axel told his brother in law in a duh tone.
"Wait, I thought this was a bird show." James asked oblivious as usual.
"Enough with the birds James, this is my wedding. I'm marrying Sofia." Prince Hugo told his brother in law who was still confused.
"Alright let's go. We don't want to be late." Prince Axel said leading the boys out of the room.
Minutes later, everyone was in their places at the altar, waiting for Princess Sofia to walk down with King Roland for the first time. Prince Hugo's eyes sparkled with joy when he saw his wife-to-be walking slowly towards him.
'Wow. She looks beautiful.' Prince Hugo thought
'Wow. Hugo looks handsome.' Princess Sofia thought looking in Hugo's eyes.
"Who gives this woman to this man?" The priest said when Princess Sofia finished walking down the altar.
"I do." King Roland answered while Prince Hugo took Princess Sofia's hands.
"We are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony. If anyone here doesn't want these too married speak now or forever hold your peace" the priest announced while Princess Amber and Prince James gave everyone a warning look that says shut up or die.
"Good. Now do you Princess Sofia take Prince Hugo to be your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold in sickness and in health for as long as you both shall live?" the priest asked looking at the happy couple.
"I do." Princess Sofia said those two words, which made Prince Hugo grin.
"And do you Prince Hugo take Princess Sofia to be your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold in sickness and in health for as long as you both shall live?" the priest asked Prince Hugo.
"I do." Prince Hugo answered staring at Princess Sofia lovingly.
"Can we have the rings?" the priest asked looking at Princess Amber who was the maid of honor and Prince Axel who was the best man
"Yes we do." Prince James answered for the both of them handing Prince Hugo and Princess Sofia the rings who exchanged them smiling.
"You may now kiss your bride." The priest told Prince Hugo who kissed his new wife passionately.
"I now present Mr. and Mrs. Hugo and Sofia for the first time." The priest announced smiling as Prince Hugo and Princess Sofia held hands walking down the aisle happily.
"Finally" Everyone yelled laughing as Prince Hugo kissed Princess Sofia one more time.
Chapter 23: Day Twenty Two: Making Fun of One Another
Summary:
Princess Sofia teases Prince Hugo over breakfast.
Chapter Text
Princess Sofia loves strawberries.
The ones offered for breakfast in the dining hall this morning look particularly delicious, red with summer's blush. The way they have been prepared, the stem neatly excised with two cuts in a wedge, makes them almost heart-shaped. Sofia has saved them for last, wanting the sweet taste of the fruit to linger in her mouth as she goes about her day.
Across the table from her, Prince Hugo is talking with Prince Axel at his left about a book they have both read. His spring brown eyes light up, and his wide smile rounds his freckled cheeks.
Princess Sofia licks her lips.
She chooses one red berry from the collection on her plate and brings it to rest for a moment on the pillow of her bottom lip. Drawing it partway into her mouth, she bites it in half, sighing almost involuntarily at the flood of flavor. She finishes her first strawberry in the same fashion, little satisfied noises leaking out unrestrained with each bite.
Prince Hugo is looking at her now, Axel having tucked into his own food with single-minded focus. He has tipped his head slightly to one side, puzzling over her exuberant enjoyment, far too darling for his own good.
A pearl of juice rolls to a stop on Princess Sofia's chin. She lets it linger.
The next strawberry, a lovely, plump thing, grazes easily past her lips and into her mouth...then out...then in again. Leisurely, she works her lips forward and back over the fruit, humming happily all the while. On one last plunge, the berry slides all the way into her mouth to distend her cheek outward.
How is Hugo? She wonders as she peers over at him demurely. Prince Hugo is shifting in his seat, scooting closer to the table. How sweet.
Wide-eyed, he glances about the room, no doubt self-conscious about how any member of the dense mealtime crowd could see just how passionate Princess Sofia is about her breakfast or the effects that passion has on him. Sofia, however, is not bothered in the slightest, not when she has Hugo right where she wants him.
Princess Sofia selects one more strawberry, the coup de grâce. This berry tapers into two rounded peaks, a shallow valley in between them. First, she bestows that little valley with tiny licks with the point of her tongue. Then, she traces little circles around the tip that grow larger and more encompassing before sealing her lips around the fruit, and her cheeks pull inward as she gives it a nice, long suck.
Princess Sofia locks eyes with Prince Hugo, batting her lashes innocently. He is no longer aware of anything else in the dining hall, his eyes fixed on the hypnotic movements of her lips and tongue.
With his attention decisively seized, she pushes the strawberry farther into her mouth with one finger on the back, slowly, slowly, until her mouth closes around it, her lips pursed against her fingertip like a kiss. Prince Hugo's cheeks have ripened to a beautiful red, his freckles a scattering of tiny brown seeds. Princess Sofia begins to chew slowly, savoring the sweetness of victory. Delicious!
Chapter 24: Day Twenty Three: Sleepy Cuddles
Summary:
Prince Hugo wants to fall asleep with his wife in his arms.
Chapter Text
Princess Sofia awoke to the sounds and movement of her husband settling under the bed covers next to her.
“Hugo, you’re home late,” Sofia remarked worriedly, turning to blink open sleepy eyes to gaze at him. Prince Hugo sighed, looking tired as he gazed over at her.
“I am sorry I woke you,” he apologized, pulling the covers over them both and resting his head on the pillow. “It was a long day.” Princess Sofia scooted closer to him and placed a hand on his cheek, leaning in to press her lips to his. Prince Hugo sighed gratefully into the sleepy kiss, always soothed by his wife’s tender affection.
“You look tired,” Sofia said, reaching up to brush a few rogue strands of hair off of his forehead. Prince Hugo hummed a low affirmative as he placed little kisses slowly along her jaw.
“I am,” The Prince agreed, enjoying the way she brought up a hand to cradle the back of his head, her fingers carding slowly through his hair. Encouraged, he moved his lips lazily along her jawline, placing open mouthed kisses down her neck and behind her ear.
“Hmm, you don’t seem tired,” Princess Sofia teased, letting out a soft chuckle. She was still groggy from being woken up so late, but she was able to appreciate his affectionate cuddles.
“I am just…exploring,” Prince Hugo murmured, nuzzling his nose against her neck. “Do not worry. Go back to sleep. You just look so lovely and I’m…I’m being a pest.” Hugo drew back, his cheeks warm with embarrassment.
“Darling, you could never be a pest,” Princess Sofia reassured him, opening her eyes to find him looking sheepish. She reached over to pull him to her, cradling his head to her chest. Sofia stroked her fingers soothingly through his hair, mussing the soft locks which so often fell over his forehead.
“Mmm, if you keep doing that I really will fall asleep, Sofia,” Prince Hugo mumbled, relaxing against her as her fingers carded through his hair. Princess Sofia smiled, letting her eyes drift closed as she rhythmically moved her hand against him.
“Good. You need to sleep,” Sofia said, hearing him hum some vague noise that sounded like an agreement. It didn’t take long until she eventually felt his breathing even out, his chest rising and falling in the steady cadence of a restful slumber.
Princess Sofia placed a gentle kiss to the top of his head, hearing him make a small happy noise in his sleep. Soon, her own breaths matched his, and she wrapped her arm around him as she returned to the weightlessness of the night.
Chapter 25: Day Twenty Four: Eating Ice Cream
Summary:
Princess Sofia loves ice cream, especially hot fudge sundaes. What happens when she shares this secret with someone special?
Chapter Text
Princess Sofia sat in her shared bed, devouring the whipped cream on her spoon, turning her head watching his face as he watched her lick her lips in pure delight at her frozen treat.
"What?" Princess Sofia said licking some of the whip cream that still remained on her chin.
"You look good enough to eat." Prince Hugo commented rubbing his thumb across her chin then bringing it to his own lip licking the whip cream.
Princess Sofia smirked as she raised her eyebrow, "You're just trying to steal my hot fudge sundae aren't you?"
Hugo chuckled taking the spoon from her hand, and scooping up some of the sundae on it, and holding it up to her lips only to eat it instead, "Mm hmm."
"You dirty thief" Princess Sofia said chuckling, "I asked you if you wanted me to make you one and you said no."
Prince Hugo smirked as he took another, smaller scoop and brought it to Sofia's lips, "I know, I wanted yours."
Princess Sofia gasped as she licked her lips only to have a small trace of the fudge left on her lips.
Leaning in, Hugo said, "You know why?"
"Why?" Princess Sofia asked picking the cherry off her sundae.
"Because yours tasted so much better." Hugo said placing the sundae on the bedside table pulling Sofia's face towards his as he licked her lips, eliciting a moan from her as she tossed the cherry out of her fingers back on her sundae.
Prince Hugo pulled Sofia backwards on to the pillow, as Hugo pulled her corset top off of her, tossing it down on the floor.
"You are so beautiful" Prince Hugo whispered leaning down "Just as tasty as that sundae."
Prince Hugo leaned down while Princess Sofia tugged at his shirt, pulling it off, "Take this shirt off."
Hugo chuckled as the shirt was thrown on the floor, Prince Hugo leaned back in, taking in her nipple. Tugging and licking it, as Princess Sofia moaned in pleasure.
"Mm" Sofia moaned lightly "Hugo."
Prince Hugo smirked at seeing her shut her eyes, looking over at the bedside table Hugo picked up the spoon and scooped the fudge and whip cream on the spoon bringing it over to Sofia's pale white skin.
Gasping at the coldness, Princess Sofia's eyes shot open to see Hugo's smile down at her.
"What the heck?" Princess Sofia said looking at Prince Hugo.
"I'm enjoying my treat." Prince Hugo said kissing her lips, demanding her mouth to open as he took dominance she moaned as his tongue massaged hers.
Prince Hugo leaned down, trailing kisses down her neck licking and sucking a path to her breast, as Hugo reached towards the spot with the fudge and whip cream, he smiled when he heard Princess Sofia's breath hitch in anticipation.
Nibbling her flesh, Prince Hugo licked up the dessert, leaving little bites on her skin pulling away he admired his handiwork at marking her skin.
"Hugo?" Princess Sofia whimpered, her breathing coming out heavy "Please."
Prince Hugo leaned down pulling at her shorts throwing the offending material on the floor and tossing his boxers on the floor as well.
"My treat." Hugo whispered "Looks so tasty."
Prince Hugo picked the cherry up and placed it in his mouth, leaning up at Princess Sofia's mouth he pulled her into a kiss as she ate the cherry from his mouth.
Sofia gasped when she felt Prince Hugo flick at her bundle of nerves, teasing and palming her center.
"Hugo" Princess Sofia whimpered feeling herself become wet, "Stop teasing."
Prince Hugo leaned over to her ear "But I'm having so much fun."
Pulling back, Hugo inserted a finger, he felt her grind herself against his hand, pulling out Prince Hugo felt himself harden as she started panting and groaning.
Reaching up, Prince Hugo took her hands and moved them above her head holding them down as he used his leg to separate her thighs.
"Now, Hugo" Princess Sofia gasped "I want you."
Prince Hugo lined himself up with her, his length hardening at the sight of lust in her eyes and pushes in thrusting in fast and pausing to allow her to adjust.
Prince Hugo thrusts in and out, feeling her dig her fingers into his skin and he releases his hold on her hands.
Leaning in Hugo nips at her neck, as her breathing becomes more panting as she repeats his name over and over.
Prince Hugo felt Sofia's hands reach behind his back, holding on to him tightly as he thrusted into her, both panting and moaning as she wraps her legs around his waist pulling him in deeper.
Leaning in Hugo pulls her into a deep kiss, as she moves her hand up his back pulling at the back of his neck deepening the kiss.
Princess Sofia moves her hand down his back pulling him close to her while Hugo's breathing becomes erratic and groaning as he bites at her neck as he trails down to her left nipple.
"Mm, Sofia" Prince Hugo says between licking and biting the breast "God, Sofia."
"Hugo" Princess Sofia panted pulling his hair for him to come back to her lips, while his body rocked in time with her hips, matching his paces.
Feeling a tingle in the pit of her stomach, Princess Sofia felt the heat rise up as Prince Hugo reached his hand between their bodies playing with the bundle, flicking and teasing it.
Princess Sofia grabbed on to Prince Hugo's shoulders pulling him close, holding on tight as she she felt the oncoming wave of her pleasure, causing her to bite deep on Hugo's shoulder as he started to shake.
Princess Sofia felt herself loose control as she clawed at his shoulders "Oh God Hugo!"
Prince Hugo fell on top of the brunette, kissing her tenderly on the neck, before rolling off of her, pulling her close to him.
"Sofia?" Prince Hugo said turning around seeing the look of content on the brunette's face.
"Hm?" Princess Sofia said looking in his face "You ok?"
Prince Hugo smiled, "You are amazing."
"You're not half bad yourself." Princess Sofia said leaning into kiss him "But one thing ok?"
Hugo looked at the seriousness in her face, making him feel uncertain "Yeah?"
"Don't ever, ever steal my ice cream again." Princess Sofia said smirking at him "Otherwise you just might get punished."
"Oh?" Prince Hugo said hearing the teasing in her tone "How so?"
"I might just spank you." Princess Sofia said resting her head on his chest, content with hearing his heartbeat.
"Well in that case, I just think I'll have too..." Prince Hugo said laughing when Princess Sofia attack his chest with kisses.
Chapter 26: Day Twenty Five: Waiting For One Another
Summary:
Princess Sofia trying her best at doing eyeshadow in the bathroom and Prince Hugo is waiting outside for her
Chapter Text
Princess Sofia's taking too long in the bathroom, isn’t she? They’re just going to watch movies in the living room so what’s she’s getting ready for? Prince Hugo would have knocked to check if she was okay but he heard her humming behind the door so she was doing fine. Prince Hugo started frowning as the wait took a bit longer and went to knock on the door. ‘’Sofia? Is everything alright? I don’t want to rush you but it’s been a bit long, I want to know if you're okay?’’ Prince Hugo put his ear against the door to try to listen to Sofia.
All Princess Sofia doing in the bathroom is trying to apply eyeshadow to look more feminine for their date. She wanted to be a beautiful woman but she has never learned how to do it until Amber helped her out and she’s suffering the consequences of not learning how to use it without Amber's help…
She thought she looks like an ugly boy she doesn’t want to be and she tries to erase it with a napkin but every time she tries to redo the whole eyeshadow from scratch it looks even worse than before. It’s making her sad how she’s not up for it like other beautiful women she has seen. The Princess frowned as she looks at her eyeshadow, it doesn’t look as terrible as others but it wasn’t good enough.
Princess Sofia jumps when Prince Hugo knocked on the door and she panics as she tries to make the final touches. ‘’I-I’m almost finished! Please one moment Hugo!’’ She said trying to speed run the last touches she need for her eyeshadow.
Prince Hugo is relieved that she finally said something. ‘’Take ya time! I’ll be here at the end of time if I have to do hehe. ~’’ He said happily waiting for his wife to finish whatever she was doing.
Then the door opened and Prince Hugo finally got to find out what she was doing the whole time. It was applying makeup? He blinks his heterochromatic eyes as he keeps looking at her with the pink eyeshadow.
Princess Sofia frown and touches her cheeks. ‘’It’s awful, isn’t it Hugo? I have never done makeup without Amber's help I-I thought if I tried then…’’ She ends up not finishing that. It’s not good for her mind to go on that road. She’s beautiful no matter what and that’s all that matter and yet sometimes ugly thoughts creep into her…
Prince Hugo's mouth went wide. ‘’You look stunning Sofia! I never would have imagined you with makeup. Most of the time I been with you it's just your natural look but that ain’t bad either! You look so beautiful with or without makeup! Pink look good on you.’’ Prince Hugo showers Sofia with compliments with a cute grin of his.
Princess Sofia's eyes start to shine seeing her husband compliment her as always. She wanted to cry out of joy at the fact that Hugo is so cute and kind to her, which she did as she covered her face to avoid making Hugo worried but he end up seeing that too and he got concerned. ‘’Sofia? Are you crying Honey?’’ Prince Hugo asked sadly going to place a hand on her shoulder to try to comfort her even though he had no idea why sofia was crying in the first place.
Princess Sofia wraps her arms around her husband. ‘’I-I love you so much Hugo!’’ She exclaims her love for him in the tightest hug she could give him.
Prince Hugo grins and hugs her back, though his back hurts from her tight hug. ‘’It’s okay, I love you too Sofia!’’ Hugo said with his reddish cheeks. He always knew what to say to make her so emotional…
Chapter 27: Day Twenty Six: Sleeping In Together
Summary:
Princess Sofia loved Christmas morning, she desperately wanted to give Hugo gifts and open hers. But her husband had something else in mind: sleeping in.
Chapter Text
Princess Sofia loved the holidays. She absolutely loved them. The cozy atmosphere, the lights, the cold weather outside, but the soft and toasty warmth inside. It just made her feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. And her favorite part of it all, was waking up to open up presents.
Princess Sofia was a young adult, sure, but nothing could beat the excitement Sofia felt on Christmas morning. Guessing what was in her gifts, but even more so, seeing other people happy and excited as they opened up the gifts Princess Sofia had carefully picked out for them, hand wrapped and all.
If only… her husband thought the same about it. The plan they
had made was simple: wake up, exchange their gifts, have breakfast and get ready, and then head over to King Roland's castle to have a big party with the rest of the ‘family’. Simple enough, right? The party was in the afternoon, leaving plenty of time for Princess Sofia and Prince Hugo to get up and get ready, maybe laze around a little.
Well… Sofia would, but Prince Hugo had decided that this rare day off was the perfect day to sleep in. While Sofia would normally agree with him, The Princess couldn’t help but huff at the idea of not racing out of their bed to exchange gifts, like a childhood memory, their heart racing from giddiness and love.
Princess Sofia had been restless all night, wanting to sleep early the day before. While Prince Hugo was still sitting upright, reading a book, Sofia had already made herself comfortable underneath the blankets, snuggling as close as she could without disturbing his reading, and closing her eyes. Prince Hugo had remarked that ‘the night won’t pass any faster just because you’re going to try and sleep earlier’ with a chuckle, but Sofia had stubbornly decided that sleeping was a good idea.
But he had been right, the clock on the nightstand telling her it was 6 am, and Sofia was wide awake. Princess Sofia was pretty sure that if she woke up Prince Hugo now, he’d actually be grumpy, and while that would be a rare occurrence, Sofia decided that Christmas morning was not the moment for it. So she tried to snuggle a little closer, hoping to get sleepy again with the help of his comforting warmth and scent. But no such thing.
It was an hour later when Sofia decided you really couldn’t stay in bed any longer, and she Started wiggling around a little more, before eventually getting out of the bed, throwing off the covers in a rather brute way, ensuring to wake her lover up with a gush of cold air as the blankets were momentarily lifted from his body as well.
Prince Hugo opened up one eye, raised one brow, and just turned around again. Princess Sofia pouted and let out a playful whine.
“Hugo, it’s morning… we can get started with our day already right?”
Prince Hugo didn’t even turn to face her.
“Sofia, it’s still dark outside. I’m sleeping in. I told you so yesterday.”
Princess Sofia pouted a little more, almost convinced by his morning voice, a little deeper and more raspy than usual, and sat back down on the bed, shuffling over to the middle. Sofia leaned over him and softly kissed his cheek.
“baaaaabeee”
Prince Hugo turned on his back, and then with surprising strength and swiftness, grasped her arm, making Sofia lose balance, and land on top of him with an ‘oompf’ sound.
“Hey!”
“Ssssssssssssssssssssshhhh. No talking. Only rest”
Prince Hugo had wrapped his arms around Sofia and turned so she was comfortably the little spoon. Princess Sofia was completely sure he had his eyes closed already and was attempting to catch a little more sleep, but a small test made it clear that Hugo wasn’t about to loosen his grip around her anytime soon.
“But the presents?”
“They won’t run away. Besides, having a morning in with you is already a gift big enough for me.”
Whelp. Nothing Sofia could do when Prince Hugo was talking smooth like that. Princess Sofia gave up her struggles, and snuggled closer, a little more relaxed this time. Maybe he was right. This was also a gift. And maybe in an hour or so, Sofia could try and convince him again. Until then, Sofia could enjoy his presence and a little more rest.
Chapter 28: Day Twenty Seven: Spooning
Summary:
Prince Hugo loved how direct Princess Sofia was with her needs.
Chapter Text
The next morning, golden light streamed softly through the curtains, filling the room with a gentle warmth. Princess Sofia stirred awake, still pressed close to Prince Hugo. His arm was slung lazily around her waist, holding her against him even in sleep, his steady breaths tickling the back of her neck.
Sofia's cheeks flushed as she realized just how close they were—her back to his chest, their bodies perfectly aligned. She could feel his warmth, the comforting weight of him, and… something else pressing against her.
Princess Sofia's heart skipped a beat as a mischievous thought crossed her mind. Turning slightly, she whispered, “Hugo …”
Prince Hugo grumbled faintly, still half-asleep, but the sound of her soft voice stirred him. “Hmm…?”
Princess Sofia bit her lip, her face burning with embarrassment, but she couldn’t ignore the growing need pooling in her. “Hugo … I want to do it like this…”
Prince Hugo's eyes cracked open. “Like this?” he repeated groggily, his voice still deep and husky from sleep.
“Yeah…” Princess Sofia looked away, her face hot, though her body betrayed her unusually shyness by pressing herself closer against him. “I want to have sex… spooning…”
Prince Hugo was suddenly much more awake. Hugo shifted, his hand smoothing down her waist, as he muttered on her ear, “You’re so cute when you ask for it.”
“Stop saying that and let’s do it.” Princess Sofia protested weakly, her voice a mix of flustered and aroused.
But Prince Hugo wasn’t teasing her anymore. The Prince moved closer, his lips brushing against her shoulder as his hand roamed from her waist to her thigh. “You’re sure you want this?” he murmured, his voice gentle despite the heat behind it.
“Yes.” Princess Sofia breathed, her body shivering at his touch.
With that, Prince Hugo carefully adjusted himself, kissing the back of her neck. The sensation made Sofia moan softly, her body arching instinctively against him. Prince Hugo ran his hand over her hip, lifting her leg slightly to align them, before pressing himself against her entrance.
Princess Sofia gasped, her fingers clutching the sheets as Prince Hugo slid inside her slowly. The feeling of him filling her in this intimate position was overwhelming, and her breath hitched. “Hugo…”
“Sofia …” Prince Hugo groaned, his hand squeezing her thigh as he began thrusting into her with slow, deep movements. The closeness of their bodies only heightened everything—the sound of their breaths mingling, her soft moans filling the quiet room, his lips trailing down her shoulder.
“You feel so good…” Prince Hugo whispered into her ear, his voice trembling with restraint.
Princess Sofia bit her lip to stifle a cry as each slow thrust hit deeper, sending pleasure coursing through her. “Ahh… I-I love this… we're so close…”
Prince Hugo's hand slid under her night shirt, cupping her breast and teasing her nipple as he picked up the pace. “I’ve got you…” Hugo murmured, pressing soft kisses to her neck as he moved. “You’re so perfect, Sofia …”
Prince Hugo's words sent shivers down her spine, and her body began to tighten around him. “Hugo, I’m gonna…!”
“Me too…” Prince Hugo groaned, holding her tightly as he thrust deeper, his movements becoming more erratic.
Her climax hit her, her body trembling as she cried out his name, her walls squeezing around him. Prince Hugo followed soon after, moaning lowly into her neck as he reached his release, pulling her even closer as if he couldn’t bear to let her go.
They stayed like that for a moment, their bodies still intertwined, breaths mingling as they tried to recover. Princess Sofia felt his hand smoothing over her waist, grounding her, and she smiled faintly, still flushed.
“Hugo …” Princess Sofia whispered.
Prince Hugo kissed the back of her head, a satisfied smirk tugging at his lips. “What’s wrong?”
“That was… really, really good…”
“Yeah?” Prince Hugo said, pulling her even closer. “Good thing you asked for it, then.”
Princess Sofia huffed, burying her face into the pillow to hide her smile. “Shut up…”
Chapter 29: Day Twenty Eight: Doing Something Together
Summary:
Prince Hugo and Princess Sofia play in the rain together.
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
Drip.
Princess Sofia reflexively reach up to her face and felt something wet before looking up at the murky grey sky. The forecast had only been 66% chance of rain when she had checked the weather forecast before her and Hugo had decided to head to a park nearby their castle to have some alone time.
“Looks like it’s gonna rain…” Prince Hugo says as he walks alongside Sofia. “If you don’t have an umbrella, my jacket’s big enough to keep us both dry~”
“Oh.” Princess Sofia had already pulled the compact umbrella from her purse. “I… have my umbrella.”
“…but, but, but,” Prince Hugo whimpers, looking at Sofia with puppy dog eyes. In response, Princess Sofia averted her eyes and popped open the umbrella.
“Come on, let’s head home.”
“…are you sure you don’t wanna share my jacket? I promise it’s nice and warm~”
“…tempting, but I think we should hurry before it rains any harder.” Sofia held up the umbrella high above her head and motion for her husband to join her underneath. After a moment’s hesitation and a particularly loud huff, Prince Hugo grabs the umbrella from her hand. He holds it up and with his free hand, pulls Sofia so she's standing side by side beneath it.
“This way, we both win~” Prince Hugo proclaims cheerfully, slipping a hand around her.
Princess Sofia flushed red, feelng slightly embarassed, but she doesn't say anything. The newlyweds attempt to hurry through the park as the pitter-patter of the rain gets increasingly louder, signifying that the rain is indeed getting stronger.
As they walk, Princess Sofia notices puddles starting to form on the sidewalk, near the cracks and edges. Perhaps, if the rain stops sometime before they leave the park, Princess Sofia and Prince Hugo can delay going home and instead just hop around and play in the puddes.
Suddenly, Princess Sofia feels a strong tug and next thing she knows the both of them are running. Princess Sofia glances over at Prince Hugo to try to figure out what caused the abrupt change in pace. Hugo notices Sofia's gaze and flashs a determined grin. Princess Sofia's heart skips a beat and it’s almost enough to disguise the uneasiness growing in the pit of her stomach.
“Jump!” Prince Hugo yells out suddently.
Instinctively, Sofia obeys.
It seems that Prince Hugo didn’t want to wait until the rain stopped to play around in the puddles.
He lets out a satisfied sigh. “That was a good one, wasn’t it?”
He has a point. The splash from the puddle they both jumped in was truly magnificient. Princess Sofia had been hoping to avoid getting wet, but at this point it’s, well, a little too late.
Before Sofia could answer him, Prince Hugo starts tugging at you again, “Oh! There’s another one!”
Prince Hugo races toward another puddle, with Princess Sofia lagging about an arm’s length behind. Unlike before he doesn’t signal for her to jump too and when he jumps Sofia ends up getting yanked forward. This causes Sofia to slip and lose her balance. Princess Sofia ends up falling, face first, on to the ground next to the pavement with a hard thud. Prince Hugo, whose hand is still firmly holding on to hers, topples right on top of Sofia.
Now Sofia knows for sure- dirt and grass do not taste good in the slightest.
Prince Hugo, realizing the position Sofia's in, jumps up and moves to her side, rolling her over onto his lap so that Sofia can finally breath some fresh air.
Hugo half yells her name out, “Are you okay?”
Princess Sofia spit and sputter, trying to clear her mouth of any dirt. “Hugo …. I think I’m dying…”
Prince Hugo stares at Princess Sofia with wide eyes and latches onto one of her hands, “What?! No! You can’t!”
“I… I’m sorry,” Sofia croaked dramatically, “I… I…”
“What is it?” Prince Hugo asks, leaning forward.
“I…” Sofia rolled her eyes back and flutter her eyelids, pretending to die dramatically.
“Wait! No… NO!!!!” Prince Hugo half-sobs loudly. “You can’t… not yet…”
Princess Sofia lied there, as still as she can manage, doing her best to contain her laughter. She feels Prince Hugo shift a little and if feels as if he’s bending over. A second later, Princess Sofia feels somethng warm and soft brush against her lips. Surprised, her eyes shoot open just as Hugo pulls away.
“Ah… y-you…” Sofia stuttered.
Prince Hugo grins smuggly. “It seems a kiss doth saveth my lady from a death most foul!”
“B-but… my lips were d-dirty…”
“Oh?” Prince Hugo tilts his head to the side. “You were so cute, I didn’t even notice.”
Princess Sofia's face heats up instantly. Looking pleased with this reaction Prince Hugo reaches up and wipes her face with one of his sleeves. Then he leans in, a playful smirk gracing his features. “Now that you’re clean, would you like me to kiss you again.”
She stares at her husband.
Prince Hugo takes her silence as a yes, and moves to close the distance. At the last second, Sofia raised her hand and moved it between her lips- blocking his kiss. “Not now. We should really get back home. We’re both soaked now. If we don’t hurry, we’ll catch colds.”
Prince Hugo pouts as he pulls away. Slowly he rises to his feet then extends a hand to help Sofia up. Gladly, she ta6ke it. Once they're both standing, Sofia brushed off some of the dirt while Prince Hugo goes to retrieve the umbrella. He must have accidentally dropped it during the fall.
Then they resume their walk back to their castle. Princess Sofia notice he’s a little more deflated than normal so after a few moments of walking Sofia clear her throat. ”Erm, if you want, we can… resume what we were doing once we’ve showered.”
Prince Hugo perks up immiediately. “You mean, in the shower?”
Princess Sofia blushed. “N-no.”
Prince Hugo visibly pouts at his princess.
Sofia's lying, but Princess Sofia thinks it’s better to leave him to find that out on his own.

Chapter 30: Day Twenty Nine: Morning Routine
Summary:
Being all cuddled up with Hugo in their bed makes getting out of it so much harder...
Chapter Text
Princess Sofia woke up from a peaceful slumber, slowly opening her eyes. From the window she could see that it was just barely daylight. Princess Sofia felt warm and cozy, wrapped in a blanket and it seemed like the perfect scenario to just go back to sleep, until she noticed the deep, even breathing next to her. It had never happened before, but Prince Hugo was still fast asleep next to her. A mess of dark hair covered his head and framed parts of his entirely relaxed face. Princess Sofia's heart ached thinking that he trusted her enough to just keep sleeping.
For a while Sofia was just lying there, watching him. There was no frown on his forehead or his teasing smirk. Hugo looked entirely at peace and very comfortable.
While the birds quietly started to sing outside of the castle and the whole world slowly came to life, Princess Sofia had no intentions of moving. One could even hear movements in the corridor, meaning that Prince Axel was probably already awake. Princess Sofia shifted onto her back, stretching her arms with a deep sigh. Sofia's attention however turned quickly back towards the man still quietly sleeping by her side.
Princess Sofia reached out slowly and brushed her fingers through his dark hair, not able to keep herself from touching him any longer. Physical affection was extremely important in their relationship. Never had she even considered him being such a cuddler. Princess Sofia snickered quietly at the thought.
And it was the sound of her voice which coaxed Prince Hugo out of his slumber. Taking another deep breath, he shifted closer to Sofia, pulling her into his arms with a lazy movement. Princess Sofia decided to help him out a little and ended up snuggling against his chest. The fingertips of his hand sneaked under the blanket and started to slowly trail up and down the skin of her spine, leaving Sofia with a pleasant shiver. Not wanting to be lulled into sleep again, Princess Sofia kissed his collarbone, earning herself a low, raspy chuckle. Sofia felt the vibrations of his laughter on his chest.
The next time she turned her face up to look at him a pair of poison blue eyes looked back at hers. “Good morning, Hugo.”, Princess Sofia said with a smile, cupping his cheek into one of her hands. For a brief moment Prince Hugo leaned into her touch.
“Morning.”, was all he replied, always a man of few words especially this early.
None of them made any effort to move at this point, so Princess Sofia returned to her former position, curled up against his chest, wrapping in a blanket and his arms. How rare it was, that those two had a quiet morning together. Either Prince Hugo was already up and away in his royal duties or playing sports, or Prince Axel would burst into their shared room announcing breakfast.
Not today, though.
A deep sense of peace settled into her heart as Princess Sofia listened to his steady heartbeat and time passed on. None of them are quite asleep but also not really awake.
Eventually however, Prince Hugo loosened the embrace and sat up in the bed. Hugo reached for the nightstand and put his reading glasses on, closing the clip on his ear which was connected to them via a small chain. While he got out from under the sheets, Princess Sofia kept watching silently as he went to clean up and get dressed. Prince Hugo finished with closing the buttons on his sleeves and then his eyes were back on you. “Tea?”
Princess Sofia simply nodded with a smile.
“Get dressed and don’t take too long. Breakfast won’t be there for long, you know how my brother is with food.” Prince Hugo shook his head lightly, there was no smile on his face, his expression neutral but the tone of his voice was almost soft and affectionate. “See you downstairs.”
And with that Prince Hugo was gone, leaving Princess Sofia to get ready herself, though with a sigh Sofia mourned the loss of the warmth of their bed and his arms. Fighting against her inner voice to just stay in bed, Princess Sofia swung her legs out from under the covers and started her own day as well.

Princess Sofia takes a moment on her honeymoon to watch her husband play the piano.
Chapter Text
Princess Sofia awoke to the sun shining in her eyes.
It was an oppressively hot day. The air was heavy, the light was hazy, and the windows were flung open to let in a gentle breeze. Judging from how the sun hung in the sky, it was just past noon. Princess Sofia had not intended to sleep the day away. She had actually risen quite early, ready to make the most of the precious time she had been granted to spend with her new husband. Her husband, who had gazed upon her so sweetly in the morning light, eyes full of wonder and hunger, face flushing slightly as he told her he had dreamt of her. Princess Sofia had asked him, lips quirking, what kind of dream it was and one thing led to another and well, here she was.
Sprawled out in bed, damp with sweat, hair wild, a single sheet tangled around her naked form.
Princess Sofia sat up, wiping sleep and sweat from her eyes, and realized that Prince Hugo was no longer in bed with her. She could hazard a guess at where he was—drinking tea, penning letters, getting some fresh air. Relaxing didn’t come easy to Hugo. The Prince was always up and about, flitting from one activity to the next. The rare moments he had taken for himself over the past few days were no different. But Sofia couldn’t fault him for that—it was one of the things she loved about him.
Princess Sofia would have been content to just stay in bed a bit longer, but she figured she should check on Hugo, make sure he wasn’t working too hard. She rose from the bed, collected her robe from the floor, and made her way to the vanity for a glass of water and to do something about that hair. Princess Sofia sat at the mirror and stared at her reflection for a moment. She looked absolutely horrific—a flushed, disheveled mess—but she was so happy that she couldn’t help but smile. Picking up her brush, she began to hum to herself as she worked the tangles out of her hair. And then, almost as if on cue, she heard it—
The warm, rich timbre of a piano.
Princess Sofia knew that Prince Hugo had been playing for most of his life—he loved to remind her that mastery of an instrument is a true hallmark of nobility—and he had accompanied her as she sang on many occasions. Sofia strained her ears to listen to the distant tune. It was quite lovely, whatever it was. Princess Sofia tried her best to return to the task at hand, but her thoughts kept wandering back to Prince Hugo. There was something about the idea of him playing for himself that she found very alluring. It seemed so intimate, so romantic. She had to see it for herself.
Princess Sofia quietly followed the sound down the hallway and into the study. The heady scent of flowers from the garden below hung thick in the air, and the room was drenched with sun. The light came through the windows in thick beams, illuminating the dust motes that floated through the air and casting a warm glow over everything it touched. At the center of the room sat Prince Hugo —bare from the waist up, his fiery hair all lit up and draped over looking very messy.
Princess Sofia froze in the doorway, hand covering her mouth, afraid that her presence would disturb him. But after a moment, it became clear that he was deaf to everything but the music. The piece he had selected was enchanting. It flowed like water, slow and sensual, full of nostalgia and longing. Sofia couldn’t see Prince Hugo's face, but she imagined that his eyes were closed, his brow furrowed in concentration. Just as Princess Sofia felt her own eyes begin to slip shut, the music began to build in intensity. Sofia opened her eyes to the sight of Prince Hugo leaning into the chords, the muscles in his back contracting and releasing, his breathing audible. Hugo's body moved with each swell of the music, his hands traveling deftly across the keys. The sight of Hugo surrendering himself completely and totally to the music was intoxicating. It was divine.
The intensity ebbed away into the same sweet longing from before, but with a newfound passion. As each note tumbled one over the other in dizzying arpeggios, Princess Sofia noticed how Hugo's wedding band caught the light, and her heart swelled with pride.
The music slowed and quieted. Prince Hugo played the last series of chords with a tenderness so great that Princess Sofia felt her eyes well up. As the last notes hung in the air, Prince Hugo let his head fall back with a sigh. A breeze rolled in. The curtains billowed. A single bead of sweat rolled down his back. The hand that had been resting on Sofia's lips slid down to rest on her chest as she let out a shaky exhale.
Prince Hugo started, aware of her presence for the first time. He turned around to face her, his gaze softening.
“Oh, hello, love. Did I wake you?”
He smiled, and it was too much. Princess Sofia crossed the threshold of the room and closed the distance between them. She reached down to cup his face and kissed him, slowly and deeply. Prince Hugo returned the kiss without hesitation, pulling her into his lap. When they parted, Princess Sofia took his hand in hers and brought it to her lips, pressing a soft kiss to each finger. Sofia met his gaze and there it was again—that wonder and hunger. Princess Sofia smiled and nuzzled into his neck—murmuring his name, murmuring praises, murmuring things that made his head spin. She could feel the heat creeping up Prince Hugo's chest, up his neck, burning from the inside out in the afternoon sun.
Her lips trailed downwards until the room was filled with nothing but the sounds of the wind rustling through the trees, of birdsong, and of Prince Hugo's breathless moans.
It was the sweetest music Princess Sofia had ever heard in her life.
Chapter 32: Day Thirty One: Pregnancy Reveal
Summary:
Princess Sofia waits (perhaps a little impatiently) for Prince Hugo to come home so she can tell him the big news.
Chapter Text
Princess Sofia lies on her and Prince Hugo's shared bed with her hand on her stomach, waiting for him to come home. She's not usually this impatient, mainly because it's rare for him to leave her behind so she has no reason to be impatient in the first place, but she thinks she can make an exception this time. It's probably the biggest piece of news she's ever going to give him. Princess Sofia can't help but be both nervous and excited, ready to tell him so she can see his reaction.
She'd been feeling sick the past couple of weeks, nauseous and exhausted despite not having a strenuous day. It didn't help that her period was late. She was never late. That was what concerned her the most, and it was the reason she'd spoken to Princess Amber in private. Once she'd been able to find her without her husband or crying twins attached to her hip.
As soon as she'd explained the situation, Princess Amber had told her, "Go see a doctor. They'll be able to tell you what's going on."
Princess Sofia wasn't stupid. She knew what missing her period meant, and she would be lying if she said she wasn't scared at the time. Still, she'd gone to see a doctor after promising Prince Hugo that she'd rest while he and Happy went on a mission, feeling a bit guilty that she didn't tell him her plans or what she thought might be the problem. Princess Sofia didn't want to get his hopes up or scare him for no reason.
This leads her to now, still unable to believe that there's a tiny human growing inside of her. Her imaginative mind has already thought up several names and imagined what the child might look like at each stage of their life. The possibilities are endless, but Sofia already knows that whoever their child turns out to be, they'll have constant love and support around them. Raising them in an environment like Fairy Tale ensures that.
The front door opens and Princess Sofia sits up straight, tapping her leg as she hears the, "I'm home!"
"Welcome home!" she calls out as Prince Hugo enters the bedroom.
He's surprised to see her sitting up. "Hey, Sofia, is it okay if you're not lying down and stuff? If you need more rest, go for it. Vivians down the road with James, so he won't be around to make a bunch of noise."
"You make just as much noise as he does," Princess Sofia says with a light giggle. "I actually went to see a doctor today."
Prince Hugo frowns as he chucks his bag to the side, joining her on the bed. "What? Nothing's wrong, right?"
Princess shakes her head. "No, no, nothing's wrong, per say. It's just a little something."
She says it casually, and she knows she's stalling for time. Prince Hugo does, too. The frown deepens and he slides closer. "A little something? It's nothing serious, is it?"
"It's not a bad serious," Princess Sofia says. She takes his hand in both her own and lifts it so it rests on her stomach. Her eyes meet his and she smiles. "I'm pregnant."
Prince Hugo stares at her for a moment. Then his gaze drops to where his hand is still placed on her stomach. His eyes flicker between her and the hand a few times before his eyes widen and she thinks it's finally starting to sink in. Prince Hugo grins, which is her only warning before he practically jumps on her, wrapping his arms around her and burying his face in her hair.
"We're gonna have a kid?" Prince Hugo asks, as if he can hardly believe it. She can sympathise; she can hardly believe it, either. It all feels so surreal.
Still, Sofia nods and returns the hug, her head against his chest. "We are. I thought -- I thought that might be the case when I realised I was, well, late, but Amber told me I should go see a doctor to tell for sure. So I did. And I was right."
Prince Hugo just laughs, moving his face from her hair to her shoulder, kissing it lightly. It tickles. "Oh my goodness, I'm gonna be a dad."
"Yep."
"We're gonna have a mini-Sofia."
"Or a mini-Hugo."
"A mini-us." Prince Hugo raises his head, looking right into Princess Sofia's eyes, and she's sure the feeling in her stomach isn't just morning sickness. "It's gonna be both of us, and it's gonna be the cutest thing. We're gonna have the cutest kid in the kingdom, Axel's gonna be so jealous."
Princess Sofia rolls her eyes. "It's not a competition, Hugo. You're always going to think our child is cuter and Desmond is always going to think the twins are cuter. All parents think their child is the cutest and they're all right."
Prince Hugo's expression turns serious for a moment, and Princess Sofia thinks he's going to say something profound until he says, in the most serious voice she's ever heard, "But ours will be cuter."
Rather than scolding him a second time, Princess Sofia just laughs and runs her hands through his hair. "Of course, of course, Hugo-Sofia Junior is going to be the cutest child in existence, and no one will ever be able to take that way from them. Happy?"
"Very," Prince Hugo says. "Though speaking of Happy," he pulls away from her and slides off the bed, grabbing her hand along the way, "we need to tell him. We need to go tell everyone!"
While Princess Sofia didn't expect to be telling their friends so soon, she isn't opposed to the idea. She's just as excited as he is. The other friends and family members will be happy for her, she knows they will, and she can't wait to introduce her future child to them, whoever they may be. The thought makes her slightly teary-eyed, but Princess Sofia laughs as she's pulled out the door by an excited Prince Hugo, both of them heading towards the guild with bright smiles on their faces.
