Lana woke up panting, sweating, agitated to say the least. If only it been from a wet dream. At this point those were far and few in between. She barely slept and when she did she had nightmares. Lana and Taehyung had been dating for 2 years now. Though most of it had been via text, calls and video chats. He always made sure to make time for her. The next morning, Monday, her best friend Mel showed up at her place early to accompany her to her doctor's appointment. Used her key to let herself in.

- Lana, sis... She called out. - Are you ready? I got starbucks.

At the doctors office she couldn't help but feel full of shame and failure, betrayed by her own body. The tears started to build up again. She was there for the follow up check up after she miscarried that fateful night. She wanted to tell Tae in person but since she didn't know when he would be able to visit she and Mel decided to make him a video. Video that she would show him over video call. After Lana and her best friend had finished the video she got really bad cramps. Right away you started bleeding. Mel rushed her to the hospital. Tae called as scheduled but it was Mel that picked up as the doctors worked on Lana. She didn't say anything. Thought it wasn't her place. Just that Lana couldn't come to the phone because she got food poisoning from some new place they had ordered from. At the appointment the doctor wanted to make sure that Lana was ok physically at least. She had lost the baby, Taehyungs baby. And she could not feel worse about it.

Eventually Thursday came around. Lala tried her best to put the thoughts aside and focus on her boyfriends arrival. She
put on some music and started cooking. Almost as soon after the food was done the front door opened. It was Taehyung. Fuck had she missed him and he missed her. It had become a routine for them, he would walk through the door and she would run and jump on him. Wrapping her legs and arms around him and kissed till they were out of breath. The bride and groom along with their guest enjoyed themselves above and beyond. The intimste gathering had indeed been a total blast.
