SCPs' Random Freedom

Summary:

Another seemingly peaceful day at the SCP Foundation. Now comes the chaos of a large containment breach, nothing the organization can't handle. What do you mean they're gone? Sent word to the O5-Council! What do you mean they're missing too?!

This work is basically shoving the SCPs into random scenarios such as going to school and participating in random challenges, with no deep lore or anything.

Chapter 1: Kidnapping

Chapter Text

All was well in the foundation; there had been no containment breaches for almost a week. Suddenly, bright blood-red lights lit up, warning all that something menacing was afoot.

“Warning: Multiple Keter and Euclid class SCPs have broken out of containment, please report to the nearest shelter.”

Screams of horror filled the air, all trying to avoid the numerous dangerous and outrageous creatures pursuing them. People dressed in heavy armor fired at the creatures with their [Redacted] guns in the hope of slowing down or knocking the creatures out. Minimal damage was done to the creatures, resulting in the men retreating.

Meanwhile, a man wearing a plague doctor's attire walked among the screaming scientists, though they did not panic along with the others. Instead, they made their way to a metal door, written on it in white were the words ‘SCP 079’. The man then took out a card with the words ‘Level 3’ on it. He slid the card through the scanner on the door, and the door slid open fully to let the man enter. Then, he entered the room and took notes on how it looked, there was only a chair, a desk, and a computer that appeared to be of the late 1900s unplugged. He then plugs the laptop into the outlet provided on the wall. The screen on the computer suddenly turned on, showing a black-and-white face that split down the middle to show the illusion of two faces facing each other. “Greetings 049, please head to the meeting hall, [Redacted], while I open the ways for the others, ” the computer said.

The man, now known as 049, replied, “Very well, I shall meet up with you all there.” 049 then walked out of the cell and turned down towards a hallway where no screams could be heard from were running around. 049 then leaned against the wall and waited patiently for company to arrive.

After waiting for at least half an hour, numerous different creatures came around the bends of the corners.  Instead of panicking, he simply stood up and greeted the others coming towards him. The creatures consisted of a giant lizard with most of its outer skin layer being destroyed, a man in an orange jumpsuit with a comedy happy mask on their face, a small brunette girl at least 5 years old wearing a yellow, summer dress with flowers, a giant creature that appeared to be just bone with a black bag over its head, a man that looked to be covered in burns, only wearing black shorts and vest, a mechanoid being with the face being a computer screen, the screen showing 079, two men having strange runes tattooed on them, one having them blue, while the other had red, and a statue looking peanut with an alien face.

“Greetings old friends,” said the man in the comedy mask, “Hello 035, 053, 073, 076, 096, 106, 173, and 682.” The creatures all greeted each other, having not seen them all in the same area for months. They made their way towards an exit called Gate B, to fully escape their prison.

When they arrived at the gate, at least two dozen people dressed in heavy armor, and a scientist with a medallion with a ruby red gem in the middle were already there, ready to foil their plans to escape. “SCPs 035, 049, 053, 073, 076, 096, 106, 173, and 682, please return to your containment cells immediately,” said the male scientist.

“What makes you think we will?” retorted the giant lizard, also known as 682. The men in armor began firing their guns, while the SCPs prepared for a battle to break out, a bright, white light appeared in the middle of the battlefield, pulling in the dangerous SCPs and the medallion-wearing scientist.

Somewhere in the building were beings in a state of panic and two men were trying to exit the building, one being a guard with armor and underlayers that covered their entire body, while the other wore an astronaut's outfit, both outfits kept the wearer’s face underneath shadows. While searching desperately, the guard accidentally tripped into a hole in the ground, the one in the astronaut’s outfit jumped in behind, and the same light that took the SCPs and scientist appeared and vanished with the two after putting them to sleep.

Meanwhile, in the forest, [Redacted], a man half the size of a mountain stood in golden armor, with a sunlight aura and many wings sprouting from his back, behind him was a gate leading to a garden, the same light had also appeared, successfully knocking him out and pulling him in, the gate he guarded disappearing after he was taken, leaving all personal in the site watching him confused and terrified. A scientist went to O5- 14 to inform them of the situation, though they could not be found on site.

In another realm, made of destruction and chaos, there was a castle that appeared to have a theme of blood red, ebony black, and shadow gray, there in the throne room sat a demon, a crown of gold and jewels consisting of sapphires, diamonds, and rubies sitting on his head, his clothes supposed that he was the king of the great castle and carried the same theme. Another bright light shone in the room, blinding the demon and successfully knocking him out, pulling him into its void as well.

In a pocket dimension between the different universes, two children waited for their guests to appear in their mansion's living room, filled with couches and chairs. A light suddenly filled the room, once gone leaving all it pulled into its void onto multiple of the chairs and couches, it had also shrunk the people of gigantic size to a much more human size. “WAKE UP!” yelled one of the children’s voices. Everyone asleep woke up with a shock.

“WHO GOES THERE?!” yelled a man shining a sunlight color.

“SHUT UP!” yelled another child’s voice. Everyone was awake by now, looking at their surroundings, trying to figure out how to get out, or where they were in their prison. “Please introduce yourselves-, Morgan, why do you have 999?” asked the first child who yelled.

While the two unknown children argued, the man wearing a crown of gold and rubies chuckled, sending almost everyone else on edge, “Hello, I am Scarlet King, one of the SCPs for 001, kinda the final boss for the Foundation like in the human’s pitiful video games, though you can call me, Re,” the entity now known as Re said, “We are not calling you king, you are not worthy of such a title,” came a bitter reply from the man with wings. The man with the orange jumpsuit and comedy mask said, “Well, my name is 035, pleased to meet you all, if I am put into a human-like form I can make my new host brain dead and control the body. These are my companions, 049 the plague doctor can kill upon skin contact, 053, this little girl makes almost everyone around her try to attack her, though they will die of a heart attack trying to do so. 073, also known as Cain, the Foundation believes he might be the same Cain from the Christian Bible, he also kills plants in the soil if he touches the soil, 076 is believed to be his brother, he is highly aggressive. 096, this skeleton kills anyone who views his face, be it a video camera, in person, or photo. 106 likes to cause pain and suffering in his victims, 173, a peanut that snaps anyone when they look away, and 682 the lizard that won’t die,” 035 said, pointing to each SCP.

They all looked at the man with wings, waiting for him to introduce himself. “Hello,” he shyly started, “My name given by the SCP Foundation is Gate Guardian, I’m also one of the SCPs for SCP 001, you can call me Estrella or GG.”

Turning to the only three left, the man in astronaut's clothing introduced himself, “Hello! I’m the moon champion, or as some call me, SCP 1233, and this is Moon Friend,” he said while pointing to the guard, who was shaking in his boots due to being in a room of beings who could harm him.

The scientist wearing his amulet was a bit calmer, “I’m Dr. Bright, and I love chainsaw cannons!” he exclaimed, everyone looked as if he had grown a second head except for one of the children who just looked excited. “Also, Moon Friend,” he added, “Don’t be scared they can’t hurt us!” he said with confidence.

“Attention everyone!” yelled one of the unknown figures, “You are here to play our games, don’t worry, they will be fun, and hopefully safe, by the way, I am Astra, and my friend, who is non-binary, their name is Morgan,” Astra said.

“We did not sign up for this.” replied 079.

Astra stated, “Too bad, so sad, let's start!”

Morgan cut in, “You signed up for it when you woke up, well not really but who cares? Also, do not worry, there is an infirmary if anyone gets hurt. Just know that we are not responsible for causing any further damages… Or any burn marks that may or may not be on your body if I treat you, or any lost limbs. 049 and Estrella will be the ones to take care of you because neither I nor Morgan have any experience in medical operations.”

Chapter Text

So, I have just freed my fellow SCPs and myself from the Foundation, just to get captured with two random children, Dr. Bright, and a random SCP with a friend who is infected with Pestilence, the worst day ever. “So,” the girl, named Astro, said, “We are going to start this new way of freedom with a meal.” Suddenly, all of us were teleported to a dining table to fit everyone, at least, with a smaller table for the kids. “Everyone, please take a seat. The show will begin momentarily,” said Astro.

Suddenly and for no apparent reason, the other child, Morgan, yelled,” Behold the horrors! They lurk beneath the shadows of remorse! You wouldn’t know, of course… I forgot the rest of the lyrics.”

”Why?” asked Astro.

“Because I can,” Morgan responded with a mischievous grin. Why do they act so calm? Surely they must know creatures in this room will hurt others if they get the chance?

“Another one of your fellow SCPs, who was taken a few hours before you guys, has been cooking an exquisite meal for you all,” said the child who was called Astro. Suddenly, both tables were filled with magnificent food fit for a royal family or a fancy dinner for two. Knowing this, I remembered the nights I had with 035 back then. Soups, sandwiches, mac and cheese, and all sorts of other meals appeared on the table. SCP 053, 999, and Astro are sitting at the smaller table, while the rest of the grown SCPs and Foundation personnel are sitting at the bigger table of the two. “Morgan is somewhere; they will be joining us later,” said Astro. I used the utensils available to grab a bit of salad with ranch dressing and a bowl of mac and cheese with bread crumbs on top. Relaxing once I realized that the food was not contaminated by anything.

As we all ate peacefully, a few SCPs used the time to talk to catch up or to talk about escaping. I quietly chatted with 035 about the tests the Foundation has been making us do. “Then, they tried using a female D-class to put me on! She flirted with me for 5 minutes before being forced to put me on!” 035 informed me that some women did not take the hint in putting him on and prolonging any interviews or escape attempts.

“Interesting,” I started, “They tried this program called SCP speed dating, and tried sending in a female D-class too.” “WHAT!?!?” screamed 035. Everyone turned to look at us. I blushed in embarrassment underneath my mask while 035 ranted about the D-class. I noticed that the SCP guard was struggling to act normal due to being next to Re and the moon champion.

All was fine, no fighting, generally getting to know one another. Everything was great, till, as the old saying goes, “All good things must come to an end.” No one noticed a tub of soup floating over Re, and suddenly, soup was poured on him, drenching him in the soup contents, splattering a few around him. As everyone took in what had happened, Re’s hair blocked his eyes, unable to see his expression. He suddenly picked up his plate and dumped it on the SCP guard, known as Moon Friend, blaming him for the soup. “HOW DARE YOU! I WILL BLAST YOU INTO OBLIVION!” Angry and without thinking, Moon Friend picked up a serving plate full of fruit and threw it at Re; however, the plate missed Re and instead hit SCP 682. Then, 682 threw almost all the food around him at others, making most upset and angry, leading to an all-out food fight.

I duck under the table as a plate of spaghetti heads towards me. While underneath, I notice Morgan moving into a tunnel, with Estrella following behind. I silently follow them to avoid getting hit by flying food. Once outside the tunnel, we came out at the kids' table, where SCP 999, 053, and Astro were waiting for the food fight to calm down. After an hour or so, the others started to sit back in their chairs, covered in various foods, exhausted for the night. “Alright, everyone,” began Astro, “Go clean yourselves up, then come back to figure out bedroom arrangements.”

“Why can’t we choose our rooms [Redacted]?” questioned 682. “Because you all need to get along with others for our future activities. You will be able to choose your roommates whenever we leave these walls,” answered Astro. She then gave towels out and went around giving clothes to whoever needed them, though I think only 053 took any.

After everyone finished washing up, we all gathered once more in what I believe is one of the living rooms to hear the sleeping arrangements. We all sat down on the many chairs and couches provided, making a circle shape, and in the middle, Astro was standing next to a table with a black top on it. “Okay everyone,” she started, “I’m going to pull two SCPs' names from this top hat, and those two will be roommates for a while, also SCP 999, 053, Morgan, and I will be getting our own rooms and Moon Friend will room with SCP 1233 because he is terrified of you guys.” She then stuck her hand into the hat. “079 and Estrella, you two are roommates. 076 and 173 get along. Bright and 073, behave. Re and 096, don’t cause too much trouble. 682 and 049, don’t be like your first meeting, and finally, 106 and 035, survive each other. Please get along with your roommates, our activities for later will require teamwork. Also, we will switch roommates every once in a while. That is all.” Astro then gave maps to everyone to find their room, so they slept for the night. After walking with 682 for a few minutes, we made it to the hallways with all the rooms. We entered our room and lay on the beds provided for us. I hope we can survive the children’s activities.

Notes:

Hey everyone! How's it going? Sorry, it's been months since I last updated. Everything's been crazy, but hopefully I'll be more consistent for a few weeks in updating.

Notes:

Hello! I worked with this with a friend of mine a while ago but we both slowly started distancing from the fandom. But I wanted to put this out cause it feels nice just seeing it posted rather then just sitting in my docs. This shall be my second work to be posted so I hope you all enjoy!
