   Summary

   Shepard confesses her longtime feelings to an injured Garrus just when she thinks she’s about to die on the run for the beam to the Citadel, even while still having love for Thane who has already gone across the sea. Shepard ends up in a several-months-long coma following the firing of the Crucible, and Garrus is thrust in an immediate leadership role in Shepard’s absence on a stranded Normandy. When they come together again, will Garrus return Shepard’s feelings? Will they have a future together in a war-torn galaxy? Will Garrus be able to accept Thane in Shepard’s heart?
