   This is incredible! Your anatomy is top-tier, I'm so impressed with the poses and omg you did THREE DIFFERENT art pieces for me?!?! I'm blessed. :praying hands:

   On that first drawing, are the avatars sort of pixelated? Which is a super neat detail to add! And the *armor*, whoa so intricate, the shapes are Pleasing and interlock together in a functional and attractive way.

   The trio looks SO good together, like they can't bear to have any space between them. You've got the avatars manhandling YX in ALL three pieces, yesssss, get him out of that old man sweater. I believe they can make that shameless tactician cry (once OAL stops stealing kisses)! >: D

      Ahh I’m glad you’re enjoying this!! Really, this pairing has been on my radar for some years now and I’ve always liked it but perhaps didn’t pay it that much attention, but with your prompt this year I had so many opportunities to look closer and I’m finally seeing the light. The desperation and loyalty are so compelling, and the shared history only fuels the flames. I ended up so into this trio that well, three pieces were made 😆

      Thank you for commenting on the pixelated effect! It was really fun to apply and it does give a certain feeling to like. The fragility of this? In a way? I was certainly inspired by the first manga volume cover, the one where Ye Xiu parts with OAL with a very distinct and haunting look.

      The sweater is actually one of my favourite items because it makes Ye Xiu look so. Soft. But yeah, it was certainly in the way so I’m glad OAL and Lord Grim got it off. I was thinking if it could be used any other way (like bondage maybe? also contemplated Lord Grim’s scarf for this task) but couldn’t come up with a pose for it fndnnfn. But the thought was there! Also, from other tangents: Evil Anihilation and Myriad Manifestations Umbrella would’ve been fun props in bed but in the end I went for more of the “soft and desperate” than “sexily threatening and about to destroy YX’s bed”. But hey, maybe that wouldn’t be so bad, he could probably ask for an upgraded replacement then…?

      Also yeah! OAL stealing all the kisses and NOT letting himself be separated from Ye Xiu was very cathartic to draw! The whole time I was contemplating the poses I was thinking how Lord Grim would be like “man calm down, nobody is taking him away from you” but then I remember and whoops. Yeah Lord Grim, better let him glue himself to Ye Xiu… You can have other things! And surely with their combined efforts they can make Ye Xiu cry for real 🥰

      Again, I’m really happy I got to draw them and honestly all of the armour was actually fun to sketch and render. I didn’t know I could do this, honestly, but I’m really glad it was for this exchange and prompt too! Thank you again <333
