Every morning, her alarm clock goes off and she’s actually excited about getting to work. Patty never knew she’d actually end up bonding so much with the kids whose futures she’s been tasked with governing, but she’s pretty proud of how it’s coming along.
Generation after generation, she’s sent them out into the world to defend the planet – and, she hoped, avoid destroying it. At least she has a decent idea of what she’s done right, and how she is and can help the world with her students at her side, it all feels possible.
Or it should be, if they avoid blowing the entire school to smithereens.
