Chapter Text

"Dear Justice leaders, I, King of the infinite realms, high King phantom. Has requested a meeting of the diplomatic level tonight at 6:00 p.m. My fright knights and I will meet you to discuss issues regarding my people please be prepared and await our arrival."

"Long reign the king and may the infinite grant us peace and prosperity."

The Justice League was in an emergency meeting, the surprisedly was called by John Constantine. Everyone in the League knew about the infinite realms and the terrifying king that ruled. But the knights? They were kept under wraps, they worked in the shadows of the realms.

Now that they know that the King of the infinite realm will be at the Watchtower in minutes? It's terrifying, and the leaguers had all hands on deck and they needed to know what was coming.

John started "there are four knights, but don't let the numbers fool you, one of them could replace an army. They are all undoubtedly loyal to the king and will do whatever he asks."

"The First one is the King's right hand, he is the Red knight. He is the Spirit of Sanctuary and he has Soul Shredder. To put it short when the Soul Shredder cuts someone, they are teleported to an alternate dimension where their greatest fears become real."

"The second one is Sir Wren Hallow, he is the fright knight, and he is the Spirit of Halloween. He used to serve the pariah dark but after king phantom took the crown he began to served him. He is the co-leader of the military and he is more calmed down but is still brutal."

"Then there's the King's sister the Spirit of Freedom. She is the other co-leader of the military, and despite wanting freedom she is ruthless. She is also the unspoken leader of the Fright Knights."

"Last one is The Spectre they are a divine entity representing vengeance on behalf of The Presence, considered God in the context of Abrahamic religion. They are the  Spirit of Retribution, and will put the punishment they see fit which 9 times out of 10 isn't bloody Sunshine and rainbows."

After John finished his speech and left the Leaguers speechless. These knights could probably go toe to toe with the league but even Batman had to admit with the king? The Justice League had no chance if it was a fair fight.

Superman was the one to break the silence "Do they have any weakness, or a way to give us a chance?"

Constantine sighed and put his hands in his hair, brushing it back. "No, they have no kryptonite, no rocks or gadgets that could even slow them down. The only thing I can think of is hope we can help the king."

The Justice Leaguers fell back into silence and they waited for about a minute. Then the Watchtower began to get colder and darkness began to swirl into a slow tornado. John eyed the other Leaders and gave them a look them screamed one thing "that's them".

The first figure to be visible is a female, definitely the king's sister. The princess had sliver and black armor with snow white hair that was braided. Her eyes were a pricing Lazarus green, with a few star freckles.

Batman out of the corner of his eye caught the surprised look on Cass's face. Odd.

The next figure to appear looks about 6,5 and is fully plated in black armor. He has purple hair that looked like it was on fire, flowing down to his ankles. His green eyes shot around the room and then to the princess before he nonded.

Next was the Spectre, his eyes glowed a sickly green and a strong glance. His green hood and cape seemed to be defying gravity as it flowed in the non-existent air. His pale white skin seemed to glow as he looked to the spirit of Halloween.

The next one was... Jason Batman, red Robin, Nightwing, Spoiler, and Signal go cold but Orphan seemed to just smile. Jason was wearing modern armor similar to the princess's but it was red and black, instead of silver and black. His eyes glowed a bright Lazarus green and held Soul Shredder which took the from of a hand gun on his waist. Jason gaze flew around the room and stopped at Orphan and he smiled.

Before Batman could speak the king appeared. He had the same cold, Lazarus green eyes as his sister and Jason. He was wearing a black and white suit with a D firmly placed in the middle. He wore a cape that looked like a gateway to the infinite realms, that Batman couldn't look at it for to long. A crown made of ice floated above his head, and his white hair defying gravity. He gave off a terrifying feeling that made every Justice Leaguer stop for a second.

They stand there in silence for a minute, no one willing to make a move. This meeting could be the difference between war and peace, life and death.

Wonder woman stepped forward she kept a smile but anyone could tell it was forced. "Welcome your Majesty" she gave a respectful bow, but the king just laughed.

"No need to be formal, Diana of Themyscira, we are meeting as equals. Please, just call me Danny." He said as he bowed himself. At least he's respectful Diana though as she smiled.

Nightwing tried to call out to Red hood but Danny or the king, cut him off as he waved to his knights amd smiled. "These are my fright knights, Jazz phantom, the spirit of Freedom". The woman saluted while smiling "Spectre, the Spirit of Retribution, the Fright Knights. Trust me it gets confusing just call them Sir Wren Hallow, they are the spirit of Halloween, last Jason Todd the spirit of Sanctuary."

That name set the rest of the Justice League members remembered that name. Nightwing spoke up just above a whisper "little wing? What are you doing with- well the Ghost King?"

Jason sighed and Danny nudged his shoulder against his. The two seemed to speak without words before Jason started. "I'll give a quick explanation since this is irrelevant to the meeting. When I died I met this idiot" he pointed to Danny, and John Constantine looked like he was going to explode."long story short I started to serve him as the red knight. Then I got turned into a halfa, half ghost half human, when my bullshit with the pit happened I came back but not fully. I went crazy due to corrupt ectoplasma, which is just another name for the pit". Jason took a breath his gaze softer just a bit. "Then Danny fixed me and I started serving him in the human realm."

The bats had a million questions, but Jason shut them up and simply said. "We have more important things to talk about" which was true but Red Robin couldn't help but worry about his brother. Though from what Tim had seen in his brother's actions, he was happy. He was relaxed as he sat down beside Danny, he and Jazz saluted at Sir Wren and Spectre, when they went to go stand by the door because there wasn't enough chairs. (Seriously B, you just had to demand all your kids to be at a war meeting!)  Overall he looked better then he had ever

"Let's start with this" Jazz spoke up "Danny's people, are being hunted for sport. People have found a way to hurt and in worst cases break a ghost core which is basically a ghost heart. We can't do anything because these people have passed a law to protect themselves." As Jazz explained, the leaguers are shocked, some of the leaguers knew the law in and out how could this go unseen.

Danny, who for being so powerful looks uneasy, said, "They go by GIW, or guys in white, and there are hundreds of members. They are working with corrupt politicians to break any ghost they can get to." The ghost king bit his lip and it looked like he was going to draw blood, but Jason's hand slipped into Danny's under the table. Red Robin could only think of this GIW did to Danny, who looked maybe a year younger than Jason. Hell Danny looked barely older than Tim, and Danny was supposedly the king of the infinite dimensions! Who gave Danny this power? Did he choose this? How old was he then? How old is he now!?

"RR are you good?" Cass said snapping him out of his brain.

Tim rubbed his hand over his neck and responded quietly "I'm fine."

Danny was going to continue but be faltered, like memories were coming back to him. So Jason squeezed Danny's hand and continued for Danny. "We need your help, sure we could go in there and shoot the place up but we need help with the legal side. Technically they are free walking citizens at this moment and under the Eco law they can continue walking free." A few papers appeared in Jazz's hand and she handed the papers over to Batman who put the papers on a hologram.

Eco Law

Under this law anyone who is a Ghost, halfa or any other creature from the infinite realms. Is required to be taken to the GIW for further evaluation of the situation. The punishment can range from experiments done to the creatures to the breaking of the core of it.

If an infinite realms creature refuses to come with the GIW they are allowed to use any force necessary to take it in. If death or core breaking occurs to the creature during the mission the body is to be experienced on by the GIW.

Tim could feel the tension in the room rise and him himself felt his blood boiling. This bullshit law allows people to be experimented on for the GIW's fun!? It's like- like- the old meta laws. Tim could feel the dred set in, it was like the old meta laws only for ghosts and halfa's. As Tim's eyes shot to Batman he could only think one thought.

Would B feel the same way about ghosts as meta's?

Danny had regained his calm and spoke again, "we ask that you help us to take down the GIW. We technically can't do anything about this but if you can help we can stop the experiments and we can also work for peace across dimensions." Danny finished and the leaguers looked in the middle and started to vote.

Wonder woman, Hank man, Hank girl, and Aquaman said they would help the king without a second thought.

Superman told Danny that they couldn't just go against the government and they needed more proof of the experiences.

The flash, black Canary, Green arrow, and Hal said that it would be to difficult to go against the government. And that the ghost king should have enough resources to take them down.

Batman said that the Justice League didn't need to get intertwined with the infinite realms. Most of his kids agreed with him.

Tim and Cass stood in horror as the most of the Justice League sides with corrupt politicians. They were fucking insane and Cass wanted to gag at the thought of that. Batman the man she looked to as a father, sided against her brother and with mad men.

Cass knew that this day would come, her girlfriend told her about it. But she didn't know her father the man who took her in, would reject helping the people in need. Now? She was convinced.

Tim was dumbfounded, it was fucking common sense that Danny was in the right. But B was letting his own personal beliefs about powered people tell Jay, no, he won't help him.

Tim looked and met his brother's eyes, he looked devastated, the only thing Tim wanted to do was to hug Jason. (And maybe punch Bruce)

Jason immediately looked to Danny not getting the time to process it himself. But he was more worried about his fiance then himself. Danny was unusually quiet, his eyes dull and pointed to the floor. Jason's eyes softened as he pushed out his core to Danny's. Safety/LoveYou/I'llHelp/You’reMyEverything

Danny's gaze lifted to meet Jason's and in the air he poured. ThankYou/Loveyou/Love

Now that Jason think straight he couldn't believe his family was willing to go to war other than help his people. No, not his people their people, Danny and his people being experimented on. So if war was what Batman wanted, the Red knight was going to give him war.

"are you fucking kidding me?!" The princess braced her hands on the table, her pit green eyes piercing Batman's. "My brother's people are being experimented on and you say you won't help us!?"

Batman looked back to Jazz, the same blank expression that he normally had on. He said "we made our decision, the majority vote is that we don't want to get involved with the infinite realms. It is too dangerous and it will break the peace that we have created."

"Peace?" Jazz scoffed and balled her fist and slammed the table. Tim could feel the pure rage and resentment that she felt, and he couldn't blame her. She continued "you call this world peaceful when no matter what city you go to the villains are likely to attack you. Where you don't know if another villain is going to crash through your window and kill your family. You don't know if the Justice League are going to come or not, you beg and beg for someone, anyone to help you or put you out of your misery."

Tears filled Jazz's eyes but she just wiped them away as she continued on her argument. "I am the spirit of freedom, I want people to have a free life but what you're doing won't get that. What you're doing is killing my brother's people and if you really want peace you would have made that deal."

The princess stopped and stood up straight and looked at her brother and had a silent conversation with him. Then he nodded and a wicked smile creeped onto Jazz's face as she leaned back. Danny spoke up in his high and mighty voice "Justice Leaguers" he announced. "We have two options, one we find a compromise and we have peace. Or two you and your Earth go to war with the infinite dimensions. I will not allow my people to die because of your negligence."

That got the Leaguers attention a few mumbles can be heard disgusting if they really want to go to war. They really take on the infinite dimensions?

John Constantine looked like he was about to shoot everyone in the room and then himself. He started trembling as he snapped his head to look at Batman and pointed at him. "Listen bats you need to put your bloody hatred towards powered people away and listen to the king. Cuz I'm not about to get thrown into a dimensional war because you're racist."

Batman ignored that last little bit of what Constantine said but kept his standing. "Why should we help the infinite dimensions, what is in it for us?"

Danny rolled his eyes and glared back at Batman. "Are you serious? Everyone will live in the infinite dimensions at some point. If infinite dimensions fall everything falls so it's to save your own ass is that a good answer?"

Batman responded "why should we help a place that should have ample help? The GIW is a part of the government, sure it's a shity law, but it's a law."

Wonder woman countered Batman's argument saying "there's people in need, you break the laws all the time! Assault, battery, attempted murder, and property damage and you don't want to help people in need!?"

This was why Wonder woman was Jason's favorite hero!

"That's different" Batman retorted "this is a different dimension we're talking about. We shouldn't risk our lives for a place we can't even see."

Danny was getting sick of Bruce's shit, he and the fright knights stood up. He sighed and locked eyes with the bat "if you are so set on war then sure." Danny spoke in his ghost king voice "I, king phantom due to unseen events. Declare war on the Justice League and its members, anyone wishing to join may and can do so now."

It was official Tim thought he was now going to have to fight in a war. But one question lingered in his mind, which side would he be on?

Constantine almost immediately walked over to where the ghost king was. He looked back to where Batman was and just said "I hope you are bloody happy bats." The ghost king started to float then he ran his hand through Constantine's hair as he slowly disintegrated.

Zantana followed she almost skipped to stand next to Danny as she faced dick. She smiled and said "make the right choice Dick, you always do." Then she faded away too.

Nightwing was conflicted his little wing was on the other side of this war. But his father, and his other siblings were on the other side. He couldn't just leave his siblings and dad, but he didn't want to leave Jason either.

Wonder woman was next, but she didn't say anything. All she did was walk up to Jason and put a hand on his shoulder. They both just smiled as Diana faded away into gods know where.

Hank girl and Hank man moved together as they said nothing. There was a certain shine in Jazz's eyes as she smiled at the two as they faded away.

Aquaman and Kaldur moved forward not saying anything to Leaguers. But Aquaman spoke to Danny "will I be able to see my people if I join arms with you?" Danny smiled as he nodded returned by the smile of Aquaman. "Alright you have an alliance with Atlantis" Danny shook Aquaman's hand then Kaldur's. Then they both disintegrated.

Tim wanted so badly to stand up, he wanted to walk over there and hug his brother. But what about Cass, what about Steph, what about Dick, what about Bruce? Would Alfred ever take him back if he decided to join Jason's side? Would Bruce ever look at him the same if he wasn't on his side?

Cass stood up. The bat's hearts skip a beat

Tim's eyes shot to his sister who just had a small smile on her lips. She walked forward and turned to face the league but her eyes met Tim's. She said "I hope you all know you are on the wrong side."

She smiled and waved to Spoiler who was trying to make words, but she couldn't. Cass turned and walked over to Jazz, the princess's eyes softened as she looked at Cass. Jazz took Cass's hand to her lips and placed a kiss on her hand. Then Cass started to fade away.

This may be the worst or the best decision in Tim's life but he couldn't just leave his sister and brother. Tim's hands were shaking as he stood up for his chair and walked to his brother. A hand grabbed his wrist before he got there.

"Baby bird please" Dick began to plead "I can't fight against y'all please." Through the mask Tim could see the tears in his brother's eyes but he just pulled his hand back.

Tim said "I'm sorry, but this is the right thing to do and I can't fight Jay or Cass. Cass also has a point, we're on the wrong side of this war." Tim's voice broke but he had to continue "please let me leave." 

Tim couldn't meet Dick's eyes, he just walked towards Jason and fell into his embrace. Jason held his younger brother and said "you did the right thing Timmy" as they both faded into nothing.

Dick broke, his quiet cry's the only sounds in the Watchtower. Steph cried softly herself beginning to breakdown at the site of her other siblings leaving. Signal hid his face from view but it was clear he was broken too. The wave of emotions hit everyone, hard friends and siblings left all within the span of 30 minutes.

The day started with six bat kids and ended with three.

Chapter Text

It had barely been an hour since the meeting had ended. It had barely been an hour since 3 of the six bat's left and chose a different side. Now at the Wayne Manor in the dining room sat Dick, Steph, Duke, Bruce, and Alfred. It had been rough, the Leaguers decided to meet back tomorrow to discuss the war and tell the public.

Steph was curled up into a ball her knees crushing into her face her eyes still a bit red. Duke sat close-knit to himself, holding himself together surprisingly well but still on high alert. Dick had his arms crossed and didn't dare to look at Bruce, his eyes were still up at red too. Alfred sat next to Dick with a hand placed on his shoulder and he felt the dining room table felt empty.

Bruce, the man who was known to be emotionally unavailable, was conflicted. He wanted his kids back but he did not want to help an interdimensional being. But because he didn't want to help he lost half of his kids.

Then there was a knock on the wall behind Bruce. The bats shoot their heads to face the woman standing in the shadows.

A very beaten and bruised Talia al ghul moves her way out of the shadows. Then she announces "good evening, I believe we have much to talk about."

The bat siblings (or what's left of them) stood up and got into battle ready positions. Bruce blocks Talia's way to his kids and gently pushes Alfred, he got the message and walks away from Talia.

Talia doesn't seem ready to fight she has her hands in the air and seemed pretty winded. One scan of her could tell she was weak, but Bruce didn't want to underestimate her. "What are you doing here Talia."

She sighed and started "I suppose you would want to know about your biological son. Damien al ghul, has been kidnapped by your other son's fiance." Up until this moment first didn't even know he had a biological son neither less with Talia.

But Talia didn't let any of the bats say a word before she continued. "2 months ago the whole assassins league has been taken down by you're son's fiance. During that time he met with me and my little dark Knight. A figure called Clockwork appeared had been talking to Damien behind my and his grandfather's back. He told him that 'this was the way that the timestream was supposed to go'. And 'you will meet your real family' and without a second thought he was gone."

"These last 2 month I have tried to find my boy but I have had no progress. I have caught wind of the up and coming war and I believe our son will be a major point."

The new information was crushing. There's another bat sibling up out there, he was kidnapped, and the entire assassin League was demolished. But the Dick didn't know who Jason's fiance was hell he didn't even know that he was dating someone! Now this elusive fiance and kidnapped Bruce and Talia's kid (when did that happen!?).

"Who was the person who kidnapped Damien" Bruce said in a soft voice. Trying to play the Batman personality and keep cool and get the mission done.

"Danny phantom, or the ghost King and the ruler of the infinite realm-" a high pitch scream echo through the room. It seemed to come from every phone in the room.

Dick, didn't even have the time to process that his brother was dating the king of the infinite realms. Hell he was going to get married to him! Because the people who stood on the screens of the phones was Danny, Jason and Jazz.

Clark didn't let himself process the information from the first meeting. He didn't want to feel the emotions that he may have caused a war and he didn't want to feel guilty. So he pushed it down and decided to keep himself busy.

Superman was the one to tell young Justice about the war. And about the betrayal of a few Justice League members, and their own friends. He was going to go to the outlaws seeing as they're a smaller group but they've gone off the grid since the meeting. Superman couldn't even find them so he just decided to go to Young Justice. He called a meeting with the members who weren't at the first one and immediately got to business.

"I'm sure you're wondering why I called this meeting." Clark began getting the attention of the members before continuing. "As you have probably heard the Justice League and some of the Young Justice members had a meeting an hour ago. Due to the message from the ghost king, but-" Clark was cut off by the screen behind him making a high pitch scream.

All eyes lock onto the screens as Miss Martian put a hologram of the screen up. In front of them on the hologram stood Danny, Jazz, and Jason all of them having a sly grin.

"People of Earth greetings, I am King phantom or the infinite realms. You all for probably wondering why you were going to this message from every device in your house. Nicolai Technus or the spirit of technology owes me a favor, or 30."

Jazz mutter a laugh while whispering and Danny continued. "Anyways I wish to inform you that I mean no harm but you're Justice League has made it's choice. They decided to wage war on the infinite realms. While I would love to have peace, your people have experimented on my people, and I won't let that slide."

That statement had the rest of the room in disarray, people were whispering, people were yelling. But most of all people were confused, why did the Justice League not help them and where were their friends?

King phantom continued "I know some of you will not be happy hearing that your Justice League just put you in to a war. But please, don't panic or fear we won't attack until a weak from today and there's ways you can be unharmed."

Danny walked over to the camera and turned it shifting the scene. Now there was a screen that had what looked like to be an image of a type of paradise with Constantine and Zantana standing in front of it. They both looked unharmed and safe but that didn't mean it was the truth. The room was dead silent, watching and waiting to see what their  member said.

Zatanna started to speak "during the week leading up to the official start of the war and during. If you speak the words 'I' your name 'wish to give myself and the word peace and wish to resign in بيت الأمان(bayt al'aman)'. Then you shall be transported to a pocket dimension that can infinitely grow due to how many people are there."

Zatanna smiled and Constantine picked up where she left off. "بيت الأمان(bayt al'aman) is a kind of safe Haven, that king phantom made." Zantana clicked the screen and it showed a beautiful paradise. It looks like what anyone would have thought of if they thought of peaceful.

"As Zantana has already stated it's a pocket dimension that is very close to Earth. But the spell will only work if you actually mean it, if not nothing will happen. It's just a resting place and once the war is over everyone will be safely returned home."

The camera turned once again, and once the camera fixed on two people, the room went even more still. Aquaman and Kaldur stood in front of the camera both looking unharmed and happy. A small smile sat on Aquaman's lip while a similar slightly bigger smile sat on Kaldur's.

Aquaman began to speak "Atlantis has allied with king phantom, and most Atlanteans have already been sent to بيت الأمان (bayt al'aman). Please make the right decision and end this war so we can live in peace."

The camera was handed again flipping to show Jason and Danny close. Danny perked up "thank you, your majesty, wait do I- if I'm a king does that mean? "

Jason just shrugged and a voice off screen whispered "red, you're still live".

Jason cursed mumbling a small "thanks replacement" before turning back to the camera. "You have a week starting from now we don't want to hurt innocence, so please do as the king says. He just wants what's best for his people and his family."

Jason smiled, really smiled, not a fake one or a cocky grin as the camera turned off.

It couldn't be true, this Paradise must be a lie. But why would Aquaman side with the ghost king if it was. It was too much information.

"Superman" Artemis spoke in a soft voice as she walked over to him. "My friend and my girlfriend have chosen their sides and I wish to aid them."

Her emerald eyes looked like they were going to burst any minute. Clark tried to reason with her "w-what, Artemis you can't be serious? It's way too dangerous and it's a gamble we don't have to take."

Miss Martian stepped forward and placed a hand on her friend's shoulder. Then Kon stepped forward too, blocking Superman from the others. "Dad" Clark's heart skipped a beat Kon almost never called him dad. "My best friend is gone, A-And I might be able to save him I'm going to take that gamble. It's not just for my safety, this is for my friend's safety and for doing the right thing."

Kon turned to face the other two and nonded and before Clark could say a word. Conner said the pledge first

"I, Kon Kent, wish to give myself and the word peace and wish to resign in بيت الأمان(bayt al'aman)".*CRASH* A flash of lightning engulfed the Watchtower in a blinding light. When Superman looked up, Kon was gone.

Miss Martian bit back tears herself as she closed her eyes and said "I, Megan Morse, wish to give myself and the word peace and wish to resign in بيت الأمان(bayt al'aman)". *CRASH* she was gone too.

Artemis was about to start when a voice called out from the crowd. "Wait, Artemis please" Garfield called out, maybe he could talk to Artemis or something. Garfield sighed with tears in his eyes before weakly saying "can I come with you".

Oh.

He wanted to go with his sister. Fair.

Artemis waved him over, ran her fingers through their hair and placed a kiss on their hair. Garfield caught their breath before saying "I, Garfield Logan, wish to give myself and the word peace and wish to resign in بيت الأمان(bayt al'aman)". They stuttered a bit on the last word but the same as the others *CRASH* and they were gone.

Artemis sighed not even even blinking to the lightning that struck in front of her face. She smiled softly and said "I, Artemis Crook, wish to give myself and the word peace and wish to resign in بيت الأمان(bayt al'aman)". *CRASH* she was gone.

His son was gone and he was the reason why.

Chapter Text

After that disaster of a meeting, Wonder girl came to Raven's room to talk. After 30 minutes of their talking Cassie broke and hugged Raven, sobbing into her shoulder.

Raven held onto Wonder girl like she was dangling off the edge. Cassie lost her two best friends and felt like she wasn't doing enough for the people she loved. She felt hopeless as she continued to hug Raven like her life depended on it.

Raven felt empty, she lost one of the only friends she actually trusted with her life. She doesn't know how to feel so she helps others like Cassie.

Cassie wiped her tears and turned to Raven and asked "do you think we'll see them again?"

Raven couldn't answer, she knew they would see them again. But it'd probably be on opposite sides of this war. So Raven just hugged Cassie tight and hoped this was a nightmare.

Yeah no shit, Blue beetle thought as he held Bart closer, wrapping his arms around his waist. That shit show of a meeting had everyone either crying or pissed at the Justice League. It was a mess and Jaime barely flew him and Bart out of there in time.

Bart was now sound asleep leaning on Jaime's shoulder and crashing at his house. Jaime on the other hand was doing his best with the help of Khaji Da to research any info that would help.

From the video he already identified Jazz Nightingale who on the surface looked fine. But her history with Amity Park was odd to say the least. Amity Park was known for the ghost population, which seemed to double for a year or two. Then shot back down to the normal for Amity Park, after that he hit a dead end.

Next he tried to look for the king phantom himself. Nothing much was coming out of the dark or regular web so to Khaji, Jamie went.

Khaji do you know anything about Danny, or king phantom he asked in his mind.

Jamie tried not to move around too much so Bart wouldn't wake up, but he thought he hit the jackpot! Danny was Jazz's brother so unless Danny married someone he would have the same last name. Nightingale!

And he did hit the jackpot that's for sure. He found wanted posters, his birth certificate, adoption paperwork (who knew the king of the infinite realms had a kid?) and engagement stuff.

He also found Danny phantom, the local Ex Amity Park, now king of ghosts, vigilante. The ghost king was wanted from the GIW and came into power when he was 18.

His right hand, Jason was revived when he was about 18 and the two are the same age. So while Danny was the new king Jason probably left or got dragged back to the living realm.

*Jaime, check the kid's legal records* the kid? He thought, oh the one that he adopted, sure.

While I, Danny phantom, was infiltrating the League of assassins ran into Talia al ghul. She tried to run with her grandfather and a child of the age of 9. I killed Ra but then Talia got away, but I stopped at the kid, I was planning to let him live but Clockwork appeared. He said "this is the way that the timestream was supposed to go". And "you will meet your real family" which, that cryptic bitch made no sense. But when I saw the kid my core attached to him so I took him in.

Holy shit. An heir to the league of assassins is the son of the ghost king. Apparently the league of assassins are also gone, destroyed by him. But all the things that Danny did, was it really that bad? He took down the league of assassins, adopted the heir so he wasn't an orphan, and he seemed to be a loving king. He has at the least outstandingly better than the last king so why are the Justice League at war with him.

It didn't fucking make sense, Jaime thought as tears pricked his eyes. He just wanted things to be normal, he wanted to be safe, he wanted things to go back.

Jaime closed his laptop and just embraced a sleeping Bart, hugging him like his life depended on it. All he ever wanted was to have a normal life with his friends, so why the hell is he being thrown in a war.

The Outlaws were trapped. One moment they were playing cards in Roy's living room waiting for Jason to come back from a "top secret mission". The next all of them (and Lian which understandably freaked Roy out about) were teleported into a random Palace.

Artemis, Roy, Kori, and Bizarro stood around Lian in a protective circle a voice echoed from seemingly everywhere. "Do not be afraid I am a friend" the voice came into view and-.

"King Phantom?" Artemis blurted out as all eyes shot to the supposed King. He looked normally but his eyes were an unsettling green and his hair was snow white. He looks kind of nerdy, and awkward trying to stumble out words.

"Ah yeah! Hi I'm Danny please don't call me king, I don't mean harm" he waved his hands showing that you can have any weapons. But he could still probably crush them to pieces without a second thought. He kept his hands up but continued speaking, "um I'm sure you heard of the announcement I gave out. I thought I might give you a better offer, that you totally don't have to say yes to. I-it's just my Polaris is good friends with you and he wanted to see you a-and-."

Danny was cut off of his rambling by an arrow whizzing past his head. He jumped back just barely dodging it, then he yelled. "Jay get your crazy friends before they fully kill me!"

Jay? Was Jason here, he was in the announcement for some odd reason. Surprise, surprise Jason runs into the hall they were in and froze. He took a good look between the outlaws and Danny who was now hugging Jason's side. Odd.

Jason slapped Danny's head back and walked over to the outlaws. He began talking "hey guys sorry about this shit, what Danny was going to ask was, if you want to join the ghost side". Everyone had a million questions but Jason seemed to read their minds and answer a few of them. "No you won't die, no you won't have to fight if you don't want to, you will be granted full safety from any ghost, and you." Jason kneeled in front of Lian, and Even though Roy's in herself wanted to pull Lian back let her walk to Jason. "You, no matter what option is chosen get to meet my son"  Lian's eyes began to light up as she started hugging Jason.

"wait wait wait" Artemis said moving to the other side of Jason. "What person would WANT to have a kid with you?!"

Jason just pointed behind him and as all head shot to Danny. Who just gave a little wave.

"Jason" Roy took a deep breath and put a hand on his friend's shoulder. "That's the fucking ghost king" Roy said in the most calm voice he could in a situation where your best friend is may or may not be dating a powerful being, could probably crush you all with his pinky finger.

Jason shifted on the ground and put his hand behind his head "well he wasn't the ghost king when we started dating."

The four of them looked at Jason like did some crazy shit. But hey it wasn't Jason's fault that the first ghost he ran into in the infinite dimensions was hot.

Kori smiled and started to ask questions "moving away from that, how old the child and what's his name?"

Jason answered "His name is Damien, and he's 9, he's technically my younger brother since he's B's biological kid. His mother Talia was going to leave him for dead but Danny found him, and with some ghost shenanigans he's now our adopted kid."

Kori smiled, and Artemis and Roy laughed a bit. Roy said "didn't expect you to pull a Batman."

Bizarro clapped his hands together and said in a cherry tone "Jay seems like, bad father!" Jason smiled warmly at the compliment.

Kori looked around at the hall they were in and then asked. "Where are the others, Kon, Miss Martian, Garfield, the other Artemis, Tim, Cass, and the others that left during the meeting?"

Danny flew from where he was and placed his hands on Jason's shoulder. Jason is still sitting on the floor with Lian in his arms. "They have been staying in بيت الأمان(bayt al'aman) the pocket dimension I made! Though Tim and Kon said they had to go back to the mortal realm to get someone. But other than those two everyone who has said the pledge is already in there! If you want to I can show you now but do you have to take up the pledge too."

The outlaws (minus Jason) looked at each other and came to a silent agreement. Roy bent down and rubbed Lian's hair and said, "hey Lian, are you ready to meet your cousin?"

Bernard hated his life at this moment. Both of his partners were just gone. Duke had texted him and told him, but he could already tell Tim was gone. During the announcement that the ghost king made, Bernard heard Jason say "replacement" which was a nickname he gave to Tim. He however didn't know Kon left too, apparently he had took the oath and he went to find Tim.

Bernard has gone over his options several times but he wanted to do one. Take the oath and find his partners, sure it's dangerous but he would do it a thousand times to make sure they're okay. The only thing that held him back was fear but he wanted to see them so bad.

He was on the edge of his bed, still debating his options. He wrapped his arms around his legs and put his head down. He just cried.

A green flash snapped him out of his sorrow as his head shot up. He ready himself for whoever was coming out of the green flash. But his he went numb when he saw the two standing in front of him.

"Tim? Kon?"
