Chapter Text

“Alice!” Sun yelled. He was looking for his little girl. Sun, Moon and Eclipse had adopted her after they had to kill her family. They owed them money and they didn’t pay up. They were also just terrible people. She was just a young baby at the time, not even a year old. She’s 5 now and loves her 3 dads. Eclipse is papa. Moon is daddy. Sun is dada. Even though they are the most dangerous people in the city. They still loved Alice so much. Sun heard a little giggle from the bottom cabinet. “I wonder where my little sunshine is. I just have no clue,” Sun smiled. Moon went behind Sun and he grabbed his waist. He kissed one of his rays.
“I guess if she’s gone then we can just kiss right here,” Moon smirked as Sun moved his head to kiss Moon slowly.
“Gross! Kisses are icky,” Alice yelled. Moon opened the cabinet and grabbed Alice. He lifted her in the air and spun her around a little. “Daddy found me!” Alice giggled.
“Yes, I did my little starlight,” Moon nuzzled her. “Why were you in the cabinet?” Sun asked with his hands on his hips.

“I was hiding,” Alice grinned.
“Dork,” Sun sighed.
“Where’s papa?” She asked Moon.
“He’s out doing his job. He will be back in an hour,” Moon smiled, taking her to the couch and sat down. He put her on his lap.
“An hour?” She turned her head to the side.
“60 minutes,” Moon smiled.
“Oh! I can count that high,” Alice smiled, she then started to count to 60.
“Not quite what I meant but-“ Moon was saying until the door opened. Eclipse came into the house. “Well, look at that. It worked,” Moon smiled.
“Hello love and cutie. Where’s Sun?” Eclipse took off his jacket.
“Probably cleaning,” Moon said. Eclipse kissed Moon and then kissed Alice on the head.
“I’m cleaning the cabinet because ‘someone’ made a mess in there,” Sun slightly glared at Alice.
“I sorry,” she frowned. Sun sighed and then said, “it’s fine, just don’t do it again.” Eclipse giggled and went up to Sun to kiss him. “Why are you home early?” Sun asked.

“I got a little carried away, you know?” Eclipse smiled. Sun tsked. “Aw, what? I know you wanted to talk to them too. But trust me it wouldn’t have come to anything. He was good at pissing people off,” Eclipse ran his hands down Sun’s hips.
“Bad word,” Alice said. Moon giggled.
“I’ll make it up to you love,” Eclipse kissed Sun deeply.
“Gross!” Alice yelled, getting off Moon and going to her room. They all giggled.
“Sweet little star, so silly,” Eclipse smiled. He squeezed Sun’s waist a little before he went to sit down.
“So you really got nothing out of him?” Moon asked.
“Not a single thing,” Eclipse sighed. Sun sat down on the couch.
“That mafia group is hard to crack. If only they valued their lives,” Sun smiled. Eclipse kissed Sun’s rays. “Mm!” Sun started to blush. Moon chuckled. Eclipse went down to Sun’s neck and he started to kiss it. “Eclipse! Mmm,” Sun moaned. “Shh, quiet. You don’t want to make Alice come out,” Eclipse grinned. He nipped and lightly bit Sun’s neck. Sun moaned quietly well Moon watched.
“I bet you are pent up after the day you’ve had,” Moon smiled.
“You have no idea,” Eclipse kissed Sun’s neck one last time before moving away. Eclipse then got on top of Moon.
“Are you just going to kiss us?” Moon said before moaning as Eclipse kissed his neck.
“I can’t do much with Alice in the house. I’ll have Freddy watch her later,” Eclipse bit hard on Moon’s neck.

Moon covered his mouth, moaning.
“Hush Moon, so loud,” Eclipse chuckled.
“I’d like you to make no noise when someone is touching your sensitive pa- ahh~” Eclipse bit Moon’s neck again. He kissed Moon after hungrily. “Fuck, Eclipse, what is with you,” Moon huffed. They all heard Alice’s bedroom door open. Moon panicked and tried to get up but Eclipse put his full weight on him. “Eclipse!” Moon yelled, trying to push him off. Sun giggled at them.
“Papa is being silly,” Alice laughed.
“Yes, very silly. He is also really heavy!” Moon struggled.
“Do you need anything Alice?” Sun asked as Moon continued to struggle.
“Can I have a pop pop?” Alice asked, swaying back and forth. She had copied this behavior from Sun. A pop pop was a popsicle.
“Sure but only one,” Sun smiled, getting up. Alice ran to the fridge trying to open the freezer. “Be patient,” Sun said. He got out a blue one and handed it to her.
“Thank you dada!” She ran back to her room. Sun shook his head a little. He looked back at Moon, who was still being crushed by Eclipse.
“Get off me,” Moon growled playfully.
“Nah, this feels pretty nice,” Eclipse smiled. “Eclipse!” Moon tried and failed to get him off again. Sun giggled. Eclipse started to kiss Moon’s neck.

“I love you~” Eclipse purred. Moon huffed. Eclipse chuckled and got off Moon. Eclipse got the remote and turned on the tv. It was on some news station. It was talking about the recent gang fight.
“It wasn’t even that brutal,” Sun laughed.
“They like to over exaggerate things,” Eclipse said, fixing the two rings on his finger. They were wedding rings from Sun and Moon and the gemstones were shaped like the Sun and moon. Both Sun and Moon had similar ones. Sun sat down on the couch. They were all very happy together. Despite everything that stands in their way.

Chapter Text

“I want dada!” 4 year old Alice yelled, stomping her feet.
“Dada isn’t home sweetheart,” Moon said, trying to calm her down.
“I want dada now!” She screamed. Eclipse was watching from the couch. He had his head in one of his hands. He sighed. She had been throwing fits for the last couple days. Sun had left on a business trip.
“Don’t give her attention for it love,” Eclipse said. Moon tried to grab Alice but she just fell to the floor kicking her feet.
“I know, I know. But it’s been like 2 days of this. I’m getting worried,” Moon frowned. Moon was now sitting on the floor.
“She will stop when Sun gets back,” Eclipse hoped.
“I don’t know why she wants him so bad,” Moon frowned.
“He’s probably her favorite right now,” Eclipse sighed. “She will get tired out eventually.”
“She needs to eat and I can’t get her to do that like this,” Moon put his face in his hands. Eclipse pet his head.
“Alice, can you look at me,” Eclipse said in a slightly demanding tone. She stopped for a second to look at him.
“I want dada,” she crossed her arms.

“I understand that. But do you see what you’re doing to daddy? You’re making him very upset. You don’t like feeling upset do you?” Eclipse said getting on his knees. Moon looked at him to see what this was all about. Alive looked at Moon for a second.
“No, I don’t like being upset,” she frowned.
“Then how about you calm down and go eat something from the counter. And when you’re done I want you to come back and apologize to daddy,” Eclipse got up and sat back down on the couch. She got off the floor and she started to head to the kitchen.
“How on earth did you manage that,” Moon smiled lightly.
“I’ve always been the better interrogator and manager,” Eclipse smirked. Moon rolled his eyes and pushed him a little.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever you say,” he smiled. Eclipse kissed him softly. His eyes went wide for a moment before turning into hearts. They cut off the kiss. “You’re mean,” Moon sighed. Eclipse chuckled lightly. Alice came back in with her hands behind her back.
“I want to apologize for being mean to you daddy,” she put her head down.
Moon sighed as he opened his arms for her.
“Just please stop yelling and kicking and we’re good,” Moon smiled a little. She hugged him tightly.
“I promise daddy.”

Chapter Text

There was a storm outside. Sun, Moon, Eclipse and Alice were all in the living room.
“Big storm outside, I’m surprised it hasn’t started thundering,” Eclipse said cuddling Moon.
“I don’t like thunder,” Alice frowned. She was hiding under her yellow blanket.
“Oh honey, it’s fine. It can’t hurt you,” Sun patted her head. There was then lightning and thunder. It made everyone jump. Alice started to cry out of fear.
“Oh moonlight you’re fine,” Moon picked her up and put her in his lap. He wiped off her tears. There was more thunder making her jump.
“I don’t like it,” Alice whined.
“We don’t like it either sweetheart. We can’t go outside because of it,” Eclipse started to rub Moon’s back. Moon has been scared of lightning ever since he almost got hit by it once. If they were hit it would kill them. Moon wouldn’t show his fear. At least not in front of Alice.
“Are we safe inside?” Alice asked.
“Very safe! It can’t get us in here,” Sun smiled. There was more lightning and thunder. Moon handed Alice to Sun. Sun placed her in his lap.

Moon had started to shake. He thought about how weak he must seem. A mafia boss that has killed so many yet he was scared of lightning. How pathetic. Eclipse brought him closer to his chest. Moon hadn’t noticed that he couldn’t hear anyone. Only the rain. There was another strike of lightning. Moon jumped hard and cuddled more into Eclipse. He was having a small panic attack.
“Is daddy okay?” Alice asked concerned.
“He’s fine, daddy is just scared,” Eclipse explained. Moon started to cry a little bit. He hid his face in Eclipse’s chest in shame.
“It’s okay daddy, it can’t get you in here,” Alice smiled. Moon laughed a little.
“Sorry,” Moon sniffled.
“Why are you sorry? You told me it’s okay to cry so you can too,” Alice said.
“Ha, I guess you’re right,” Moon wiped away his tears.
“Don’t worry daddy,” she put her little hands on his knee. “We will get through the storm.”
“Yes, yes, we will,” he sighed happily.

Chapter Text

7 year old Alice quickly went to her room after school. She didn’t say hi to anyone.
“I wonder what’s up with her?” Moon asked, sitting on the couch.
“I don’t know but I have a bad feeling about it. I’m going to go talk to her,” Sun got up quickly. He walked to her room and then he knocked on the door. “Alice? You okay hun?” Sun asked. She didn’t answer. “Can I come in?” He asked again. Still no answer. “You’re worrying me, sweetheart,” Sun frowned. There was still no answer. “I’m coming in,” he opened the door slowly. Alice was on her bed with the blanket over her head. “Alice? Are you okay?” Sun asked, stepping into the room.
“Get out of my room,” Alice basically barked. Sun froze and he started to frown.
“What’s going on?” Sun asked.
“I don’t want to talk to any of you right now,” Alice growled.
“Why sunshine? Did we upset you?” He asked.
“You all lied to me,” she frowned.
“Lied to you?” Sun got closer to the bed.
“Y-you, all of you are monsters!” She yelled, uncovering herself for the blanket. She throws one of her toys at him. He flinched from the yelling and then caught the toy.

Her face was red from crying.
“Sweetheart, can you please explain what’s going on,” Sun put the toy down.
“Y-you a-and papa and daddy are all killers! You kill people for no reason! You said that you had a good job B-but your job is to kill people!” Alice yelled with tears going down her face. Sun froze. His expression was unreadable. She couldn’t know about them being mafia bosses. Who the hell would have said anything.
“I-I Alice, please just…..I’m so sorry,” Sun started to cry a little as he left her room. He went into the living room. Eclipse and Moon were sitting on the couch.
“Woah, woah, what happened,” Moon sat up concerned.

“She knows about the fact that we kill people. She thinks we are monsters. I-I can’t,” Sun started to hyperventilate.
“Alright, alright, love, sit down. I’ll go talk to her,” Eclipse got up and led Sun to the couch. Sun sat down and Moon started to rub his back. Eclipse left to go talk to Alice.
“She hates us, oh god, I-I,” Sun cried as Moon hugged him and rubbed his rays.
“Just breathe Sun,” Moon said calmly.

Eclipse walked into Alice’s room. Alice was crying and she looked up quickly. Eclipse closed the door behind him.
“A-are you going to k-kill me because I know your secret,” Alice said in complete fear. He expected that question.
“My dear, I would never lay a finger on you. Listen, I just want you to understand some things,” he sat down on the ground. “Our jobs do entail us killing people. But it’s definitely not for no reason. We kill bad people that do horrible things to people. Now, that is still not right. We still could be called monsters. But we try to make this place safer for people. For you. The police most of the time don’t do their jobs fully, making everything dangerous. Before you were born, these streets were filthy and dangerous. So we cleaned them of the danger and now you can do things like walk home from school without having to fear for your life. In summary, we aren’t good people but we try to do good by doing bad things,” Eclipse explained. He looked up at Alive after his explanation. She was thinking. She had stopped crying and now she was messing with her blanket.

“I’m not your kid am I?” Was the first thing to come out of her mouth.
“No, you are not our biological child. But each of us care for you like you are. Your true mother and father were selling humans. We killed them and we found you in the house. We found it wrong to just leave you and we also always wanted a kid. So we took you,” he sighed. They stayed in silence for a while. She then started to cry hard. “Alice,” Eclipse huffed as he got up from the floor.
“I made dada cry,” she wiped off her tears.
“You can go apologize if you want. Through what you said wasn’t exactly wrong it still hurt him,” Eclipse went by her side.
“I called you all monsters, I’m so sorry,” she cried more. Eclipse rubbed her back slowly.

Sun was still upset but he had quit crying. Moon was scratching his back. Alice came running out with Eclipse close behind her. She was crying and she quickly went onto the couch and she hugged Sun hard.
“I’m so sorry dada. I never should have called you that. I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry,” Alice cried and continued to say sorry over and over.
“Oh my baby, I’m so sorry that I’m like this. My precious little girl,” Sun started to cry as he hugged her back. Moon got up and went by Eclipse.
“What did you tell her?” Moon asked, looking at Eclipse.
“The truth, at least as much as she can understand right now,” Eclipse sighed. “I just can’t wait to find out who told her everything,” Eclipse said as Sun and Alice continued to hug. Hopefully this didn’t put a big damper on their family.

Chapter Text

Moon came into the house with 2 grocery bags. Sun was on the couch. Alice was sleeping on his lap.
“Welcome back love,” Sun smiled.
“Hi sunshine,” Moon put the bags down and went over and kissed him.
“Do you need help putting away anything?” Sun asked, petting Alice’s head.
“Nah, you stay there,” Moon started to put things away. He put a jar of pickles on the counter. Sun’s rays retreated a little. Moon saw this and he blinked at him. “Do you not like pickles?” Moon asked, lifting the jar.
“I’m allergic to them,” Sun said.
Moon narrowed his eyes, “What?”

“I’m allergic to pickles,” Sun said matter of factly.
“I mean….what does that mean? We are robots, we can’t be allergic to anything,” Moon put down the jar.
“When I touch or eat them my systems shut down and restart,” Sun smiled lightly.
“That is……so strange. How did I not know this!” Moon yelled. Sun started to giggle.
“Eclipse knows,” Sun smiled.
“I wouldn’t have got any if I knew,” Moon frowned.
“It’s fine starfire. I don’t mind others eating them,” Sun smiled softly.
“Thank you sunshine,” Moon kissed Sun. “I love you,” Moon smiled.
“I love you too.”

Chapter Text

Eclipse slowly entered the house. He tried to stay upright but he probably wasn’t going to make it to the couch. He had been shot in the leg and the side. It wasn’t anything fatal but it hurt like hell and was making it hard to stay conscious. Moon was playing with 5 year old Alice on the couch. Sun was making dinner in the kitchen. When Eclipse entered the house Moon went to greet him but stopped as he saw the state his love was in. His eyes went wide as he quickly got up to assist Eclipse. Alice didn’t exactly know what was going on but seeing his daddy panic made her not feel good. When Moon grabbed Eclipse he almost fell over due to Eclipse keeling over. He began to get him to the couch slowly.
“Alice get off the couch please,” Moon said quickly. He tried not to sound so panicked and demanding. He didn’t want her to feel like she did something wrong. Alice had slight tears at the edge of her eyes. She got off the couch quickly. Moon got Eclipse onto the couch laying down. Moon knelt down by him already beginning to lift up his shirt. Alice was right next to him about to cry.
“How bad is it?” Moon asked as his own eyes started to water a little.
“Not fatal, they got my leg and my side. I think my wire that helps me stand and stay awake might have gotten cut,” he huffed. That’s when Alice started to cry uncontrollably.

“Papa is going to die!” She cried out, slumping to the floor. That alerted Sun to come into the living room.
“What’s wrong-“ Sun stopped himself when he saw Eclipse. Him and Moon shared a look. Moon was serious but nodded to show that it was going to be fine. Sun sighed slightly in relief but still looked upset. Eclipse smiled slightly at Alice.
“Sweetheart, I’m going to be fine. I’m definitely not going to die,” he tried to reassure her. Sun began to go to her side. He went on his knees by her and rubbed her back.
“B-but-but you’re bleeding really bad and there’s a hole in you,” she blubbered as she pointed to the hole. Moon got up to get tools to help Eclipse.
“Yes, but I can have holes in me and I still won’t die,” Eclipse weakly patted her head. She started to calm down but only a little. God he was in so much pain and it’s going to hurt like hell when Moon starts to fix and clean him off. Eclipse looked at Sun and he completely understood.
“Alright, Alice, let’s go to your room. Daddy is going to help papa. We can watch any show you want,” Sun tried to slowly move Alice up but she looked Eclipse deeply in the eyes with tears in her eyes.
“You promise you won’t die,” Alice said seriously.
“Of course, I promise,” Eclipse chuckled. Only then did Alice rise and follow Sun to her room. Moon came back with the proper tools.
“Alright, you ready? Cause this is going to fucking hurt,” Moon asked as he lifted up a towel to start cleaning up the oil/blood.
“Yeah, I know,” Eclipse sighed getting ready for hell but it was with his love so it was going to be just fine.

Chapter Text

Sun and Eclipse were just at the house. Sun and Eclipse were on the couch. Sun was reading and Eclipse was just sitting, thinking. Moon was meeting with another gang alone. Eclipse liked to come with on meetings but Moon told him no. He huffed just thinking about it, still a bit upset. They rarely told him no but when they did he always respected it. He would be in a sour mood though. 3 year old Alice was crawling around on the floor. They didn’t think anything weird was on the floor but they had left a bag open with a pack of cigarettes in it in the kitchen.
“Are you really still upset about Moon telling you no,” Sun smiled as he slightly giggled.
“Don’t test me sunshine,” Eclipse slightly glared at him. Sun just lightly laughed before clearing his throat. “Are you really laughing at me when I’m in a bad mood,” Eclipse looked at him unimpressed.

“Of course not my love. I’m simply laughing at something in my book. I would never ever take this matter so unseriously,” Sun smiled wide. Eclipse rolled his eyes.
“I’ll make it so both you and Moon sleep in the other bed tonight,” Eclipse threatened. He was halfway joking at this point.
“It’s 2 against 1 so I believe we would get the good bed,” Sun smirked, putting down his book.
“It’s actually 2 against 2 because I’m Alice’s favorite right now so I get our bedroom with her in it. Which has the good bed,” Eclipse said matter of factly. Sun looked slightly around to find Alice.
“Speaking of the little girl, where is she?” Sun asked as he looked behind the couch. Eclipse also started looking.
“I’m not sure, she must be in the kitchen. I’ll go get her,” Eclipse got up and headed to the kitchen. Alice was in the kitchen currently trying to eat a cigarette she found. She looked up at him innocently.

Eclipse slightly panicked as he picked her up quickly and tried to take the cigarette out of her mouth.
“No! Don’t eat that,” Eclipse growled slightly. He got about half of it out of her hand but some of it was in her mouth.
“No, no, my!” She whined as she slightly struggled.
“God damn it. Please just spit it out,” Eclipse started to try and get it out of her mouth.
“What’s going on?” Sun asked as he entered the kitchen.
“Alice got into a bag with cigarettes in it,” Eclipse frowned as he finally got all of it out of her mouth. She whined and told them no again. She started to cry. “Baby, you can’t eat that,” Eclipse started to slightly bounce her as Sun got a cup of water. He handed it to Eclipse before getting out a popsicle. Eclipse tried to get her to drink some of the water but it failed. At least it washed out her mouth.

“Here, this tastes much better than what you were eating,” Sun handed her the popsicle which she started to suck on messily.
“Yum yum,” Alice said happily. They both went to the couch and Eclipse placed Alice in this lap. He sighed as he looked up at the ceiling.
“We are terrible parents,” Eclipse said, putting a hand over his face.
“Nah, I bet this happens to everyone,” Sun smiled slightly, getting a tissue and carefully wiping off Alice's messy face. “Are we still kicked out of the room?” Sun smirked as he looked at Eclipse.
“Don’t push it,” Eclipse smiled slightly, glaring at Sun. They still had a lot to learn.

Chapter Text

5 year old Alice was sitting on Sun’s lap. She was eating a few pickles. Sun was making sure she didn’t get any on him. Alice picked one up and thought about the fact dada hadn’t had one yet. She quickly put one in his mouth.
“Mm!” Was all he could get out before he could feel his systems shutting down. He took it out of his mouth before completely shutting down. His eyes went black and he went limp. Alice was very confused. Why didn’t he eat the pickle? Does he not like them?
“Dada did you not like it?” Alice asked, looking up at Sun. Sun didn’t answer. “Dada?” Alice shook him a little. She started to tear up. “Dada, wake up!” She yelled, shaking him more. She started to cry.
“I broke dada! Please wake up,” she put her head on his chest. The pickles fell onto the floor.

Eclipse walked into the living room after hearing the crying. He saw Alice and Sun and immediately knew what was going on.
“Papa! Dada isn’t moving,” Alice looked up to Eclipse.
“It’s okay, he will be alright just give him time to wake up,” Eclipse picked Alice up. She hid her face on his shoulder. He rubbed her back slowly. Alice was still crying. “Shhhh, it’s alright baby,” he hushed her. He moved her away from his shoulder. She sniffed. “Did you try to give dada a pickle?” Eclipse asked. She nodded her head sadly. “Well, sweetheart, dada is allergic to pickles. This happens when it touches him or if he eats them,” he motioned to Sun who was still slumped there.

“W-will he wake up?” Alice asked worriedly.
“Of course, he will wake up pretty soon. I’ll clean up before he does, sit here,” he sat her next to Sun and started to clean up the pickles. After a little bit, Sun started to turn on with a groan. Alice looked up at him hopefully.
“Hey, sunshine,” Sun gave her a wobbly smile. Alice hugged him hard, moving his head forward
“I’m sorry!” Alice yelled as she started to cry again. Eclipse walked into the room giving Sun a small wave. He smiled back and then moved Alice to stop hugging him.
“It’s okay sunbeam, you didn’t know. I shouldn’t have let you eat them on me in the first place,” Sun moved her hair out of her face. He gave her a kiss on the forehead. “Everything is okay,” he wiped off her tears.
“Okay……I love you,” she sniffed.
“I love you too my dear,” Sun smiled wide.

Chapter Text

“Alice! Get ready to go!” Sun yelled as he adjusted his coat. Eclipse was on the couch waiting and Moon was packing the things they needed for the park. 7 year old Alice was quickly putting on her clothes and coat. She put on her pink light up shoes and put on her small pink fedora. Moon wore one when he would go out that was black. He was currently wearing it. Alice ran out of her room.
“I’m ready!” She yelled excitedly. Eclipse smiled softly at her. Eclipse out up and put her hat over her eyes. “Hey!” She giggled as she fixed it.
“Alright time to go,” Sun took the bag from Moon and went out of the house. They all left and got into the car. Eclipse was the one driving and Sun was next to him. Moon was in the back with Alice.

“Why don’t you let me carry the bag?” Moon asked, lifting an eyebrow.
“I don’t trust you not to forget it again,” Sun huffed, looking slightly back at him.
“That only happened once,” Moon crossed his arms.
“Five times,” Alice said quietly. Eclipse giggled a little as Moon looked at her with an offended expression.
“You watch yourself young lady or I’ll be eating all the raspberries I packed,” he closed his eyes and dramatically looked away.
“Noooo not the raspberries,” She shook his shoulders. He looked at her through one eye as he peeked at her. “I know a way you can repay me,” His smile was wide. He started to tickle her. “Hahaha! Noooo not the tickles,” she giggled as she playfully batted at his hands to get him to stop. The car suddenly stopped and it stopped all the tickling.

“As amusing as you two are, we are here,” Eclipse turned off the car and got out. They all got out. It was a sunny day with a bit of chill to the air. Though there was a slight chance of rain it wasn’t coming anytime soon. At least that’s what the forecast said. They all found a nice spot to sit down. Sun put down the large blanket that could fit them all. They all sat down and Sun started to bring out the food. Sandwiches of various different kinds with raspberries, apple slices, and some lemonade. Eclipse had water due to the fact he didn’t really like flavored drinks.
“It’s nice out here,” Sun sighed as he looked at the sky.
“Very nice,” Moon smiled. They all started to eat, Alive eating most of the raspberries. They had been out for about an hour when Alice started to squirm.

“Alice, hun, do you need to go to the bathroom?” Sun asked, putting away the empty container of lemonade.
“No….” Alice frowned but continued to squirm.
“Liar, come on, I'll take you to it. It’s not far,” Moon got up and offered his hand. Alice took it and got up. They got to the bathroom and Alice went in with Moon staying just inside the part with the sinks. He looked at himself in the small mirrors. At least small compared to him. He could see the stress in his eyes. They all had been working so much that it was wearing him thin. He did it all for his two partners and Alice. They were worth every exhausting day. Alice came out and washed her hands. “All done?” Moon asked, smiling at her.
“Yup!” She smiled wide.

As Alice and Moon were in the bathroom the sky started to get darker. There was a smell of rain in the air.
“They better hurry before it starts raining. I don’t want Moon to freak out,” Sun frowned, throwing away the trash.
“It might be two late, it’s sprinkling,” Eclipse got up and took care of the blanket and handed it to Sun. He put it into the bag. They headed to the bathroom and it started raining.
“Damn, it said it was going to rain way later,” Sun growled slightly. He hated seeing Moon upset and in fear.
“The forecast can’t be exact,” Eclipse looked around. Just as they got to the bathroom was when Alice and Moon were leaving. Alice saw them and started to go to them smiling. Moon stopped in the doorway unable to move.

Chapter Text

As the rain falls from the sky Moon is almost paralyzed by it. It’s just water. He tries and fails to reason with himself. Moon’s vision started to go blurry. He was starting to get tunnel vision. He couldn’t hear Eclipse calmly calling out to him. Eclipse touched his shoulder lightly. It made Moon snap up and look at him.
“It’s okay Moon,” Eclipse said softly. Moon couldn’t answer him as he started to sink more into the bathroom. There was soft thunder that echoed through the sky. The whole storm was still pretty far off. It made Moon jump hard and tears started to go down his face.
“Shit,” Sun said.
“No swearing,” Alice said with her eyebrows furrowed. Sun hushed her.
“I’m going to head to the car with Alice,” Sun said, taking Alice’s hand. Eclipse nodded at him. They left and now it was just Eclipse, Moon and the rain.

“Moony, come on, we can get to the car pretty fast,” Eclipse offered his hand. Moon didn’t take it. He felt like he was going to pass out. “Moon,” Eclipse said more forcefully.
“I-I can’t,” was all Moon could get out.
“Love I know you’re scared but you are going to be just fine,” Eclipse grabbed Moon and basically dragged him into the rain. As unhelpful as this was, they did need to leave before the storm got here. Moon struggled slightly before he was put into Eclipse’s coat. Moon could hear all Eclipse’s mechanics. It calmed him slightly. “Alright let’s go,” Eclipse started to move them both towards the car.

More thunder sounded off in the distance making Moon close his eyes tightly. They got to the car and Eclipse got Moon into the back and got himself into the driver's seat. Alice looked at Moon as he curled in on himself. Alice hugged him tightly as he silently cried.
“Sorry,” Moon whispered.
“Moon, my darling partner, you have nothing to be sorry about. It’s not your fault the storm came early,” Sun turned around in his chair. He caressed Moon’s face making him sigh. He hugged Alice back.
“I’m taking the biggest nap when we get home,” Moon laughed a little. They all giggled a little.
“Don’t worry about that, I think we all need a good sleep,” Eclipse smiled. Alice nodded. She kissed Moon’s cheek.
“I love you daddy,” Alice smiled at him.
“I love you too, my treasure,” He kissed her head.

Chapter Text

Eclipse picks up a spider that was in Alice’s room. 6 year old Alice is hiding in the corner. The spider crawls up Eclipse’s arm.
“Get it out of here!” She yelled covering her eyes.
“What? You’re scared of this little thing? It’s so small that it can’t even bite you,” Eclipse teased as he took a step towards Alice. She screams and tries to hit him with a stuffed toy. It misses him badly. He chuckled as he had the spider go to his other hand. “Alright, alright, I’ll put it outside,” he went out of Alice’s room and he let it out the front door. He smiled warmly as he watched it scurry away. Alice walked out of her room holding a teddy bear.
“Papa?” Alice asked.
“Yes my dear?” Eclipse answered. Alice sits on the couch and Eclipse joins her.

“Are you scared of anything? You never seem to get afraid. Even when someone’s hurt,” Alice looked up at him as she kicked her legs back and forth. Eclipse smiled at her.
“Yeah, I’m not scared of anything physical really,” Eclipse gave her a thoughtful look.
“Then what is it?” Alice asked innocently. Eclipse paused for a moment. Should he really tell her something like that? He sighed before he started to talk.
“Truthfully, I’m afraid of-“ he started to say before the front door opened. Sun and Moon were home.
“Dada! Daddy!” Alice yelled as she jumped off the couch leaving her teddy bear behind.
“Hello sunshine,” Sun got down and hugged her tight. Moon did the same thing and then rubbed her head. She giggled as Moon kissed her head.

Eclipse watched from the couch. He grabbed the bear and faced it towards himself.
“I’m scared of losing all of this,” he frowned. Alice followed Sun into the kitchen. Moon looked at Eclipse, noticing his quietness and the slight frown he had on.
“You okay?” Moon asked concerned. Eclipse looked up at him smiling a little.
“I just…..don’t want to lose this. We all worked so hard to get here but it could just go away,” he looked at the bear as he spoke. He wasn’t the best at showing his vulnerability. Even in front of his found family. Moon looked at him thinking for a moment.

“If it helps, I’m not leaving anytime soon. Plus, even if it does end. It was real fun while it lasted,” Moon smiled as he went into Eclipse’s lap. He kissed one of Eclipse’s rays gently. Eclipse sighed all the tension leaving his body. He hugged Moon close to him. “You know I’m always here for you,” Moon smiled.
“Yeah, I know,” Eclipse kissed Moon’s chest. Sun and Alice came out of the kitchen. Sun gave both of them a concerned look.
“Hey, paperboy, can you get me some water,” Moon grinned wide, looking back at Sun. Sun’s rays twitched and he gave Moon a glare. “Please?” He tilted his head to the side, still grinning. Sun walked away without looking at Moon. Both Moon and Eclipse giggled. This was wonderful. Hopefully it lasts forever.

Chapter Text

Sun was running as fast as he could. He was late with the morning newspaper and he didn’t want to get yelled at by his boss. Animatronics had very little rights at the moment. They could get paid but it was only 2 dollars everyday if they were lucky. He threw a few papers into some people's yards before he shoulder bumped into someone. He grunted as he stumbled a little.
“Oh! I’m so sorry,” Sun looked back and apologized. He froze as the two people he was looking at were also animatronics. They even kind of looked similar to him. The one who he bumped into had a face plate like his but it was black and gray. He had on a black fedora. He seemed to be themed off of the moon. He was around Sun’s height.

The other animatronic was about a foot taller. He had rays like Sun’s but they were red. They both had on blood red suits.
“Yeah, you should be sorry, you should watch where you are going,” the moon one crossed his arms glaring. The other elbowed his arm lightly. He had a big polite smile. The moon one sighed and rolled his eyes.
“It’s alright, my name is Eclipse and this is my partner Moon. Where are you heading to so quick?” Eclipse asked, looking into Sun’s eyes. He felt like he was looking through Sun’s exoskeleton. It made Sun shiver slightly. The name was familiar to him. He had heard it on TV a lot. Something about fights and fighting for animatronics rights. He was part of a fight Sun wasn’t to sure anyone could win.

“Sun and when you say partner you mean?” Sun asked. He was swaying slightly. He was still late on the papers.
“Romantic partner,” Eclipse clarified.
“Oh, I didn’t think that was aloud,” Sun frowned slightly.
“It’s not but we are trying our best to make it happen. Anyway, let me repeat my question. What are you in a rush for?” Eclipse sighed before smiling at Sun.
“Oh right! I have to deliver papers and I’m behind,” Sun said quickly. “Please excuse me!”
Sun started to go and run again. Eclipse lightly grabbed his sleeve, stopping Sun.
“Why don’t you put that paper to the side. You could join us Sun. Help us get rights for all of us,” Eclipse offered with a gentle smile on his face. Sun weighed his opinions. He could continue this job and get yelled at and have barely enough to live. Or he could be with these two and have a small chance to get rights. Or they could all get scraped.

“Come on paperboy, do you really want to stay like this until one day you can’t charge anymore. And you are left in a heap of trash,” Moon stepped forward. Eclipse gave him a hard look. If they said the wrong thing it could scare Sun away. Moon grabbed one of Sun’s rays. It made him yelp before Moon got very close to his face. It made Sun feel things. Things he wasn’t sure he was supposed to feel. “Make the right choice paperboy,” Moon whispered in his ear. It was a threat but Sun was blushing slightly. Moon’s voice was kind of hot. Sun shook his head slightly to ground himself.
“I-I um you know it’s a great offer but,” Sun looked at Eclipse who was waiting patiently for his answer. Moon let go of his ray. “You know what, sure. I’ll join you guys,” Sun sighed as he threw the papers onto the ground. Eclipse smiled wide as his rays twitched a little. Almost like he was forcing them not to spin.
“Great! I believe this is the start of something big,” Eclipse went to him and put a hand on his back. He started to lead Sun somewhere.
“Yeah, something like that,” Sun said nervously.

Chapter Text

Moon felt pain go all over his body but he couldn’t express it. His face sensors were turned off. He could only blink but not move. His joints were rusted to the point they felt like they were burning. He had been thrown away by his owner because he was “too snarky”. Maybe he should have watched his mouth so he wasn’t in this situation. His battery was dying quickly. He wanted it at this point so the pain would stop. He wondered if animatronics went to any sort of afterlife. Probably not.

He heard a crunch as someone was walking around. He would have jumped at the noise but he couldn’t. Maybe they were here to kill him. Another crunch was heard and now the person making the noise was in front of Moon. It was a sun-like animatronic that was taller than Moon. He wore a blood red suit that was slightly stained with black oil. He looked into Moon’s eyes, kneeling down.
“My name is Eclipse, can you speak?” Eclipse asked. Moon couldn’t simply shake his head no. He tried though but it was for nothing. “I’m guessing that’s a no. You seem to be unable to move too,” Eclipse lightly touched Moon’s arm causing horrible pain.

Moon couldn’t show it so he just closed his eyes tight. “But you can move your eyes, okay. One blink for no two for yes understand?” Eclipse said looking a bit more hopeful. Moon wasn’t stupid he understood. Moon rolled his eyes causing Eclipse to chuckle. It was a warm sound to Moon’s otherwise cold body. He wanted to hear more. “I’m guessing that’s a yes. Alright. Do you want my help?” Eclipse asked softly. What type of question was that?! Of course he wanted help! It almost made him so angry that he didn’t blink. He blinked two times, rolling his eyes again. “Good because I know I can help. Does your name have anything to do with your model?” He smiled slightly.

Moon blinked twice. It wasn’t too hard to guess his name.
“Is it Moon then?” He asked. Moon blinked twice again. “Well Moon, it’s very nice to meet you even if it’s in rather terrible circumstances,” Eclipse smiled wide. Tell him about it. “Alright, I’m going to have to pick you up. It’s probably going to hurt really bad but as soon as I get to my base I can fix you up,” Eclipse got into the position to pick him up. Base huh? Was he a runaway robot? Maybe his master is just very generous. Moon didn’t have much time to think on it when Eclipse swiftly picked him up bridal style. Pain shot through his whole body. He wanted to scream but was unable to. “I’m sorry, I know. It’s not fair from here I promise,” Eclipse got up and began walking. He better be right because otherwise when he gets fixed he’s beating his ass.

Chapter Text

6 year old Alice was all dressed up with a little pink bow in her hair. She had on a light pink dress with pink shoes. Moon, Sun and Eclipse were all dressed up in their blood red suits with black pants and shoes.
“Dinner date with my dad’s!” She yelled as she skipped around the room. Moon was the last one ready and he came out. They were now all standing by the door. “You all look very handsome,” Alice smiled at them all.
“And you look very beautiful,” Sun scooped her up and nuzzled her head making her giggle. Sun walked out the door and got into the back of the car.

“I swear that kid is going to be the death of me,” Moon shook his head.
“I would gladly die at her hands,” Eclipse smiled as he left holding Moon’s hand. Eclipse was driving and Moon was next to him looking out the window. It was a beautiful night out and the city was lit up. Alice was moving around a lot in her seat and Sun was bouncing his leg. They got to the restaurant and they all got out. Sun and Moon held Alice’s hand lifting her into the air a little as she laughed. Eclipse went into the place and everyone stopped for a second to stare. He glared at them and they all looked away.

When Alice walked in she pointed up to the chandelier that was on the ceiling.
“Big light!” She smiled wide.
“W-what do you all need?” The waitress tried to smile. Despite being great dads they were still dangerous people that everyone was scared of.
“Table for 4,” Eclipse said lowly. His expression was neutral.
“Please,” Alice said sweetly.
“R-right this w-way,” the girl slightly stumbled over her words. They were led to a booth table.
“Who do you want to sit by?” Sun asked Alice before they all sat down.
“Papa!” Alice yelled. Sun sat by Moon and Eclipse sat by Alice with her on the outside. The waitress gave them all menus and gave Alice a kid one with crayons.

“D-do you want anything to drink?” She asked, taking out her notepad.
“Lemonade!” Alice yelled excitedly.
“A red wine please,” Moon smiled.
“Just a water,” Eclipse said, starting to look at his menu.
“Coke,” Sun said. She wrote everything down and then bowed before leaving. Alice kicked her legs back and forth. They all got their drinks and then they ordered. Alice got a kids burger with fries. Eclipse got a medium rare steak. Moon got a chili and Sun also got a burger.
“So how has school been?” Eclipse asked Alice.
“It’s been good! My best friend ate a worm yesterday,” Alice said happily.
“Gross, that’s not sanitary at all,” Sun shook his head in disgust. Alice giggled at him.

They continued to eat and they all got done.
“All done?” Moon asked Alice.
“Yup! I’ll go to the bathroom before we leave,” Alice smiled and then ran to the bathroom.
“Silly silly kid,” Eclipse smiled, getting out a tip and then putting it down onto the table. It was an 100 dollar tip. Alice ran out of the bathroom with a pep in her step.
“Alright let’s go!” Sun picked up Alice and swung her around in a cycle. They all went to the car. Alice put her head on Sun’s shoulder as she fell asleep. “Oh how I love you so much,” Sun smiled as he kissed her head.

Chapter Text

“So do we know why we are here today?” The principal said nervously as she sat behind a desk. Sun and Moon were sitting in chairs with 8 year old Alice in the middle also sitting in a chair. Moon was crossing his arms. Sun had his hands in his lap crossing his legs. Alice was looking solely at the ground to avoid eye contact with anyone. Moon looked at Alice and gently kicked her chair when she didn’t answer.
“Yes….” Alice said, frowning.
“Good, do we know why?” The principal looked at Sun and Moon.
“Not exactly,” Sun said.
“Well….Alice got in a big fight and bit someone,” she frowned with her hands on the table.
“Who started it?” Moon asked immediately.

“Alice did from what I could see on the cameras,” she explained calmly.
“Alice, why did you start a fight with someone?” Moon frowned down at her. Alice mumbled something under her breath. “Speak up.”
“I was hoping you guys could get me out of trouble,” Alice said louder than intended. She looked down as both Sun and Moon looked at her in disbelief.
“We will talk about that later. But hun, there should be no conceivable reason why you would get in a fight and bite someone unless you are getting hurt first,” Sun said to her. Alice didn’t say anything. Moon huffed in a bit of anger.
“She will be getting 2 days of suspension,” the principal added.
“Alright thank you, I hope you have a good day,” Sun got up slowly. Moon got up and quickly left. Sun sighed and helped Alice get up and leave.

Moon was waiting for them by looking out the window and crossing his arms. Moon gave Alice a hard look before his eyes met Sun’s. It was a hard but soft look so Moon just sighed. They all left and they went home. Eclipse was out on a job. Alice was just going to go to her room but Sun said her name softly. She turned around at her door.
“Alice, why would you think we would get you out of trouble if you started it,” Sun asked. Alice looked down at her feet.
“You guys are like powerful or whatever,” she said softly.
“Yes we are but we don’t use our power for such hmmmm what’s the word,” Sun tapped his chin.
“Stupid means,” Moon said.
“Watch it,” Sun glared at Moon. “Basically not for you being bad,” Sun patted Alice’s head. “Just remember you have to treat people how you want to be treated,” he offered her a soft smile. She nodded and then went into her room, closing the door behind her.

Sun sighed softly and then looked at Moon. “That includes you too,” he glared and put one hand on his hip.
“I’m a bit disappointed is all,” Moon frowned as he messed with the bell on his hat.
“That still doesn’t mean you go and do that. She’s still a kid if you’re mean to her she won’t get the message,” Sun sat on the couch.
“Eclipse is usually better at this than us,” Moon said, turning on the tv.
“Yeah I know, I’ll have to ask him if we did a good job,” Sun sighed deeply.

Chapter Text

“Paperboy! Get your ass over here, we are going to be late,” Moon yelled as he was waiting. Eclipse gave him a disapproving look. It made Moon shrink back a bit but he was still standing tall. Sun quickly came out fixing his suit as he went.
“Sorry! I’m so sorry!” Sun went to them quickly.
“You’re alright sunlight, here let me fix this,” Eclipse stood in front of Sun and he started to fix his suit. Sun blushed slightly as Eclipse was so close and he towered over him. Moon looked at him suspiciously. Moon didn’t hate Sun and honestly he enjoyed his company. But he has noticed how close Eclipse and Sun had gotten. They were poly but no one had truly got either of their attention. Except Sun. Eclipse got done fixing Sun’s suit.

“Thank you Eclipse,” Sun looked down at his suit. Eclipse lifted up his chin causing him to blush brightly.
“You are very welcome sunshine,” Eclipse smiled warmly. He caressed his cheek. Eclipse let him go. Sun was blushing very hard and he was looking away from Eclipse. Moon came up behind Sun and started to caress Sun’s sides slowly. Sun yelped and grabbed at Moon’s hands.
“You look quite good in this suit, you know?” Moon got closer to Sun.
“Moon, behave yourself,” Eclipse scolded but he was smiling slightly. Moon let go with a huff. They all got into the car. Eclipse was driving and Moon sat in the back with Sun. They were going to a new political meeting about animatronic rights.

They had been driving for about an hour. Moon was looking boredly out the window. That’s when he got an idea. Moon started to caress Sun’s thigh a little while still looking out the window. Sun made a sound but didn’t do anything more.
“You know paperboy,” Moon moved slightly towards him. Sun was blushing. “I kinda want to kiss you right now,” Moon moved closer to his face. Eclipse was watching from the rear view mirror.
“I-I guess I wouldn’t ummm mind I-it,” Sun blushed really hard. Something else may have been hard as well. Moon smirked and went for it. That’s when Eclipse quickly stopped the car. It caused Moon to fall sideways into Sun’s lap with an oof.

“We are here, get out,” Eclipse smiled and got out. Moon glared at him.
“You’re lucky your issue isn’t noticeable,” Moon said as he crawled over Sun to get out. Sun just sat there feeling so many different things. They had been flirting with him at least he’s pretty sure that’s what they had been doing. But they have never been this forward. Especially Moon. Was he trying to bully him or did he actually like him?
“Get out paperboy,” Moon said, putting his hands in his pockets.
“Right! Sorry!” Sun quickly got out. His problem was a bit uncomfortable but he couldn’t do anything about it. Eclipse lightly grabbed Sun by the shoulders. “Wha-mmh!” Sun looked up at him confused before he was lightly kissed by Eclipse.
“What! What the hell! Eclipse that’s just dirty,” Moon growled. Eclipse stopped kissing the very flustered Sun.

“I don’t know what you are referring to,” Eclipse smirked as he fixed his suit a little. Moon grabbed Sun roughly and kissed him. Sun really didn’t know what to do. He stopped kissing him as he glared at Eclipse. “Alright let’s go,” Eclipse started to walk away.
“I’m going to get you back!” Moon yelled as he followed after him. Sun covered his mouth. He couldn’t believe any of it. He started to walk quickly to keep up with them. What an exciting evening so far.

Chapter Text

There was a crunching noise as Moon hit someone in the head with a bat. It was the main man of a rival gang. They had been trafficking women and children for about 10 years now. Not anymore because now they’re all dead. The whole family that was running it was now in a pile of dead bodies. Except for one.

“Andddd that’s the last one,” Moon smiled, wiping off the blood on his cheek. Sun then dragged the man’s body to the pile.
“That was way easier than I thought it was going to be,” Sun huffed. Eclipse was counting on his hand and he looked confused. Moon looked proudly at the pile. “What’s wrong Eclipse?” Sun asked, going to him.
“We are missing one,” Eclipse said.
“What?! How? This was the main guy?” Moon growled.

“There were 15 people in that family, we only killed 14,” Eclipse looked at Moon.
“Maybe the last person is hiding in the room with the bright blue door?” Sun asked, pointing to said door. Moon crossed his arms.
“I thought you checked that door?” Moon huffed.
“No, I didn’t. That’s where all the victims came from so I didn’t go check. Sorry,” Sun frowned, messing with his fingers. Eclipse hugged him and kissed his head.
“You’re fine sunshine. Let’s go check it and if we still can’t find them then they may have left,” they all went and opened the door. They walked in on high alert. Moon had his bat ready to swing and the other two had their guns out. They looked around and then they saw something.

“Is that,” Moon lowered his bat slowly.
“A baby!” Sun put his gun away as his eyes sparkled. He went to the small baby right away. She looked up at him and babbled. “Oh you poor sweet thing. You look so thin,” he picked her up and rocked her in his arms. She was so small. Eclipse looked extremely confused. He took out a folded piece of paper and he unfolded it. It was the victims list. Then it all clicked.
“Why the hell is there a baby?” Moon said almost angrily.
“She’s his kid but……they were still going to sell her,” Eclipse frowned. She started to cry.
“Shhhh, shhh, it’s okay. You’re okay,” he rocked her more. Eclipse was thinking hard.
“We obviously aren’t going to kill her but what do we do with her?” Moon looked at Eclipse.

“We….have always wanted a kid,” Eclipse looked at Moon. Moon’s eyes widened.
“Are we even ready for that? Can we even do that? What about her paperwork?” Moon said, moving his hands around a lot.
“She doesn’t have any. She was a home birth,” Eclipse went to Sun and took her from him. She fit in just one of his hands. “We can’t just leave her.”
“I think no matter what we won’t be completely ready! I don’t think any parent is. Plus we have rights now so we can definitely have a kid legally,” Sun smiled wide. He always wanted to have kids. Even when he was first built he felt like it was in his wires too. Moon huffed and crossed his arms. He did also want a kid but these circumstances just felt wrong. She started to cry again. Eclipse attempted to calm her down but it wasn’t working.

“Moon, here,” Eclipse went to Moon and began to hand her to him.
“Wait, I don’t know what I’m doing,” Moon panicked a little but still took the baby. She immediately stopped crying and reached up to Moon smiling. Moon’s eyes sparkled.
“Oh Moony, she likes you!” Sun smiled wide.
“Alright let’s go, we can go to the store to get baby stuff,” Eclipse smiled, leading both Sun and Moon out.
“What’s her name?” Moon asked, still mesmerized by her.
“Not anything nice. I think we should name her Alice,” Eclipse smiled down at her.
“Awww that’s such a cute name!” Sun’s rays spun.
“I like that, alright Alice, time for your life with us,” Moon gave her a kiss on the head.
