Chapter Text

A portal had sucked up the heroes from where they were talking to Dusk, much to her very little surprise, and spitting them out into a lake like a child spitting out gum. A chorus of groans left the group as a repositioned themselves to sit upright or stand, crawling off one another in the process. Legend stretches out his aching joints, letting a sigh of relief Tumble from him. "Does anyone recognize this Hyrule?" The veteran asks, gathering his very few things in the water, shaking the items clean of the water from as far away as his arm could go, his tounge sticking out in disgust as he does so.

Sky's head shoots up from his position lying in the water, choking on the water for a second before coughing up a FUCKING FROG- and scrambling to his feet, leaving many of his brothers concerned, taking off and wringing out his sail cloth, shouting "it's mine! Oh my hylia!!i get to see Sun, and Groose, and Crimson, bit most importantly Sun!" The skyloftian practicality danced around his brothers, absolutely ecstatic about seeing his beautiful and ever so lovely girlfriend as his brother's chuckle or groan at his antics before the maniac JUMPS OFF THE FUCKING SKY, I REPEAT, SKY ISLAND, whistling. All of the other nine heroes scramble to the edge, looking over the edge just in time to see a bright red blur catch the falling figure of sky on it's back before soaring high into the sky, it's wings flaring out as it goes in front of the sun, casting a disoriented shadow on the group before free falling towards them at fast speeds.

Time tackles Twilight and Wild to the ground as he yells at the other's to do the same, all on their bellies in time for the red blur to dart over them, barely a foot above them, the sound of sky whooping and cheering before they all hear a loud THUMP from behind them followed by a loud cackle that belongs to their maniac brother.

"You- you should've SEEN the looks on your faces!" Sky giggles out, getting down off the big.. bird? Monster? Were these the loftwings Sky always talks about? Who knows..

Before anyone could speak, the bird let out a loud screeching caw, it's red wings spreading out wide and giving a flap, nearly sending the smaller heroes off the sky island, as another bird monster thing that was a nice shade of, possibly, navy blue, near indigo, lands next to it, a cheerful shout comes from it's back as Sun climbs off the back of it and tackles Sky, both falling to the ground, a tangle of limbs laughing.

The chain watches as their, near always, calm and respectful brother wrestle with his zelda, her giving back the same amount of energy as she pins him into a headlock, laughing at how quickly he gives up in the battle. "Oh link! Im so gkad you're back!" Sge places a gentle kiss on his forehead as she releases him from the headlock.

Sky giggles as he stares at Sun, looking like a pure love sick fool as she helps him up and hugs him, returning the hug ten fold. "I am back Zel, i am so back" he places a kiss on her cheek as he rocks her gently back and forth, enjoying her lively presence for the first time again in a couple of months.

From behind the two lovers, someone clears their throat, making the chain known once again to Sky, who seemingly forgot he had brothers.

"You know, as lovely as it is for you and Sun, hello your majesty" a bow before continuing "can we continue your ruinion somewhere less... wet?" Warriors suggest, holding his beloved blue scarf above his head, avoiding the water at all costs. Sky stares at him, unmoving, unspeaking, just staring with an embarrassed red tint to his face and his arms around Sun's waist.

"Yes, of course Hero of Warriors, we can move it somewhere else, my dress is wet.." Sun answers for a still frozen Sky, a whine weaving into her words at the end as stops the hug with her boyfriend in favor of pulling at her now wet dress, groaning. "Well, Link, since you're the reason, let's do it like the first time!" She says with an all too Cheery tone as she SHOVES SKY OFF THE DAMN ISLAND- and follows in pursuit, leaving the chain to watch hopelessly as the two bird thingys, pretty sure they're loftwings now, follow aftwr their riders.

"We just got abandoned,didn't we?"
"I have zero clue Wild-"
"Cap, im pretty sure this is abandonment-"
"Oh really, Sprite? I think the guy who was abandoned by his parents knows what abandonment is, old man."
"Damn, y'all thought we abandoned you?"

A very manly scream leaves Warriors as he jumps into whoevers closest to him's, poor four, arms, shaking like a leaf about to fall before pointing an accusing finger at the skyloftian hovering in the air on his loftwing, getting out of a now exhausted Four's arms. "You! How dare you! I'll fight you for that scare!" He shouts, no real heat but some emotion there. And if Warrior's cheeks weren't red from embarrassment already, they'd even redder with frustration as the skyloftian just laughs at him.

"You do that and I'll ask wild to pour extra goron spice into your food!" Sky shouts back, looking over to their fellow maniac whose nodding his head in agreement, a chaotic smile on his lips. "Oh yeah, you're so riding with me. Time, Twi, im stealing your decendent." All he got as a response was two, very stern, very monotone, "No."s, making sky laugh and shake his head. "Who said you had a choice?"

With a quick blur of red and blue, Sky had urged his loftwing forward as Wild ran to meet them in the middle, swinging onto the loftwings by the neck and landing behind Sky, whooping at what he did as the chaotic duo maybe their way into the sky, dodging Twilight's hookshot skillfully.

Sun, who stayed behind, just sighed on her loftwing, shaking her head in disappointment. She looks over at time, who is the calmest between him and Twilight, and motioned for him to come over to her. A soft smile reaches her lips as he does before flying on her loftwing up into the air and grabbing Time by his shoulders with her loftwings talons and hauling him into the air, gaining a scream from the man as she cackles, picking up wind and Spirit as well by grabbing the sruffs of their shirts and flinging them up onto her loftwing before racing after Sky and Wild, much to Time's dismay, as Groose and others come with their loftwings to help transport the other heroes to Skyloft.

After the chaos at sun high, everyone was ready for lunch. Wild had offered to do it, after he was free from the cuddle pile of Shade and Wolfie, no one had a clue how those two got here after Time and Twilight had left to go do something, whatever it was, but Sun simply told him that he was their guest and that he should take a break once in a while from cooking for his brothers.

Meals soon came out after Time and Twilight came back, a few minutes after the Kitsune and wolf left, and they took their seats, Twilight by Wild and Spirit, Time by Legend and four. The food was amazing as flavors danced on their tounges, each bite more delicious then the last. The pumpkin having been seasoned well that even their picky eatera had no problem in eating it. Wild needs to get the recipe.

The rest of the day was peaceful, some links were playing around with each other, others were resting, and some were talking to Skylofts residents. But it was nice and peaceful. From where Sky and Sun had chosen to rest, the warm wind blew lightly through their hair, giving the couple a sense of tranquility as they bask in each other's presence, Sun lying her head on Sky's shoulder as he tries to braid her hair, both whispering to each other soft and sweet things.

Sky picks a couple of small flowers from the ground to braid into the bitmof hair he's braiding, murmuring about something as he works. Whatever the first hero was murmuring about never reached Sun's ears, not matter how much the goddess reincarnation wanted to but she waited patiently for him to finish the braid he was working on before Sky gently got up from his spot, being careful as he got up and brought a confused Sun with him, both of his hands in hers, taking a deep breath before looking at her with such love in his eyes.

"Zelda, i know we've been through things and are still going through stuff with us building hyrule and me going off on an adventure with my brothers and rarely being able to see you, my beautiful sun" he reaches his hand up to cup her face while also tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear, pressing a kiss to her forehead before resting his forehead on hers.

"And im not sure when it will end but I'll make sure to come back to you alive, whether i have to fight the golden three themselves or not, I'll come back to you, my love" with one of her hands in his, Sky sinks to the ground on one knee, pressing a kiss to her hand as a tiny gasp leaves Sun. "Zelda, my lovely sun, my beautiful sundelion, my love of my life, the only one i will only love" Sky reaches into his pocket and pulls out a ring, a beautiful gold ring with Rubies on the band surrounded by polished amber in the shape of the Tri-force, and a beautiful, shinning sapphire surrounded by diamonds in the middle. "Princess Zelda, will you make me a lucky man, and will you marry me?" Sky finishes, offering the ring to her, deep love in his eyes.

Sun covers her mouth with a hand and nods, happy tears in her eyes as she launches herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Yes link! Oh my, yes! A thousand yeses! Oh link! You really out did yourself!" She cries happily into his shoulder before pulling back to look at her fiancé, that felt like it was meant to be, as he slips the band onto her ring finger before the two meet in the middle for kiss, their love for each other pouring into it before they break away, resting their foreheads together as they laugh through their happy tears.

"I love you, Princess Zelda"
"I love you too, Prince Link"

Sky chuckles as he helps his fiancé up, giving her a quick peck on the lips as he does. "That sounds so weird" he says as they walk down the hill, hand in hand, and towards the village of Skyloft, Sun bumps him with her hip as they walk.

"You're going to have to get used to it if we're going to be the rulers of hyrule together" she giggles, locking her fingers with his and squeezing.

A joking groan leaves Sky as the get to the village gates. "Oh the horror, how can little me survive that? Maybe with a beautiful wife by my side... you up to help me, Dear Zelda?" He jokingly asks his Fiancé.

A curious hum leaves Sun as the couple aproach the inn the other links were staying in, having politely refused the rooms Sun had offered them, not wanting to ruin Sky and Suns time together until they see each again when nobody other only Hylia knows when that will be. As Sky opens the door for her, she responds with a teasing tone. "I don't know, my prince, am i up to helping you?" She asks the inn keeper where the other links are as she slips her hand into Sky's and pulls him along to where the keeper points, giving her thanks before they go.

A chorus of greetings greet the two, even Legend gave a happy greeting. Sky greets them back as Wind runs into him, apologies, and then runs past him, chasing after Spirit, while Sun gives them a polite wave. Sky feels eyes on him the second the fire light glints off of Sun and his's matching rings, questions on the tip of his brother's tounges. Sky sankes his arm around Sun's waist, pulling her in and placing a kiss one her cheek as she relaxes into him. He expected a chorus of voices, firing questions at Sun and him, only for a single voice to speak for all nine of his brothers.

"When did you propose?"

Time's voice was soft, with a little laugh in his words as he spoke. The others just stared in amazement, shock, excitement and more.

"An hour ago"

Sky expected more silence after he spoke, not his brothers cheering for him and congratulating him and Sun, or getting matching jewelry from Wild as an early wedding gift, him promising to bring them more. Soon enough, the whole town of Skyloft knew of the newly engaged couple, celebrating their love for each other, and giving their lovers gifts as Sky and Sun's love inspired them to show their love for whoever they were dating or married to a bit more.

That was the day Love day (valentine's day) was started. All from a goddesses (even if mortal, but still being a goddess) love for her hero.

Chapter Text

Being thrown into another era after proposing to your girlfriend wasn't on Sky's bucket list, but it might as well have been on it. A silent tear rolls down his cheek as he sits up, taking in the fact they're on a ship in the middle of the great sea in Wind's era. He thanks hylia a bit bitterly for allowing them to stay dry, Sky's looking at you, Legend, Wild.

Wind was immediately up on his feet the second the smell of the salt water hit his nose, ready to brave the dangers of the sea as he recognizes Tetra's ship. He helped his partner in crime up from his spot on the ground, hoisting Spirit up with little effort as he does so. He turns back to the chain, spreading his arms wide. "Welc'me back to me era, ya land lubbers! We're luckily 'n Tetra's ship!" He loudly explains.

A loud cackle is heard behind them as Wind spins around and practically glowing as he looks at Tetra. Sky was sure if Wind had a tail, it'd be a blurr of color. "Nice ta see ya again! How's ye doing?" She asks their resident Sailor, who practicality melts when she pulls him into a hug.

"I've been doin' gud! You?" He cheerfully asks the sea captain, glad to be with her again.

Tetra just giggles at his antics as she brushes a strand of hair that was threatening to poke out Winds eye. "I've been doin' me best!" She responds with just as much enthusiasm. Tetra perks a bit as it seems like a torch is lit in her head. She quickly ran into her captain quarters, leaving everyone on the deck confused, before kicking the door open and coming back out with something hidden behind her back, walking straight back to Wind's side, a nervous smile on her lips.

"I 'now we pirates don' exactly celebrate 'ove day, but i wanted to..even if imma day earl'.. so i got ye this" She says, a slight shake in her voice as she brings a carefully wrapped package from behind ger back and handing it to a stock still Wind, who's as bright as Legend's tunic as he takes the gift.

He stutters out a thank you as he carefully unwraps the package, only for his breath to be taken away as he's met with a beautifully crafted flintlock, seemingly craved by thw golden three themselves. Wind runs his fingers over the beautiful weapon, admiring it beauty before launching forward and almost tackling Tetra into a tight hug, thank yous rolling of Winds tounge by the many. He knew Tetra expected nothing in return, but damn the gods, he was going to get her something

When night had settled as everyone, on the now slowly rolling and rocking ship, fell asleep to the calm sounds of waves having lured them into the welcoming hands of sleep. (lucky-) Only one remained alive, calculating a plan in his head as he lightly tosses the dragear pear from side to side, watching the waves roll by ever so slowly. good time for a swim The sailor thinks to himself, halting his tossing of the dragear pear and slowly bringing it up to his lips, prepared to take a bite.

A door is heard opening, the hinges creaking ever so slightly as someone walks out, humming a tune he recognizes but doesn't bother to place a name to it. A figure, slightly taller than him, settles against the railing, their sun gold hair illuminated by the moon light. Their humming fades to a stop as they fiddle with something around their neck. "What'ca doing out here, Wind?" Wild ask idly, still looking out at the sea.

Wind lowers the pear from his lips before turning to face his brother, smiling slightly. "J'st wanted ta watch thee sea, nothin' much" his smile bleeds into his words, practically giving him away as Wild hums, turning to face him.

"Uh huh. Them why do ya have your Dragear pear out, hmm?" He watches as Wind scrambles for an explanation, stuttering and tripping over hia words, almost dropping the pear in his hands overboard before letting out a long sigh.

"Fine, fine. Ye caught me.. i was gonna git Tetra a Darknut sword. The most tuffest s'ord ye can lay yer hands on" he confesses, bringing the pear back up to his lips as he speaks. "It's even more powerfu' than tha Master s'ord" He looks over at Wild whose just nodding, still fidgeting with whatevers around his neck.

Wind watches as Wild take a deep breath before taking of his hood, unhooking his slate from his hip, and stores it in there with a tap of the fabric to the screen. He looks at Wind with a wide smile, revealing sharp teeth that lay under his lips. "Let's go find it then!" The champion yelled before jumping into the cold sea water below, gripping whatever it was around his neck, and disappearing into a brilliant blue glow under the water.

Wind hesitates for a second, staring over the railing in horror as he watches the water stir and swallow the light of his brother up. Just before he's about to jump in after, the pear still by his lips, a decent sized dragon covered in White, Gold, Green, and blue scales rises high into the air, wiggling its body like a wave. A startled laugh leaves Wind as he watches his brother, now dragon, float in the air as he waits for him. Wind quickly bites into the pear, ignoring it's foul taste as he chews it up, and jumps over the railing into the sea below, his body shifting with out pain into a fifteen foot sea serpent, shades of blues, oranges, and yellows cover his scales and webbed parts, before quickly darting off with Wild into the night.

The door from to the underpart of the ship opens again, more fierce this time as a disoriented and sleepy Warriors stumbled out, his pupils in thin lines as he watches the younger dragons (if you included Wind as one-) disappear into the night, making worried whines that only the moon and it's stars will hear, leave his throat.

When Wind had lead Wild to shark island and lead him to where the darknuts usually roam, he was expecting huge enemies in heavy armor. Not dogs in aprons weilding swords!! Wind had corrected Wild that no, they weren't ass naked in just aprons and yes, they do have armor and are wearing it, and yes Wild, these are strong enemies. Despite the fact he managed to knock one out with ease so that Wind could easily kill it and grab it's sword, but then again, he was still in dragon form-

With a quick claw to his chest, Wild gracefully used his paraglider to slow his fall after transforming back into his Hylian form. He lands quietly next to Wind as his brother picks up the sword and taps it to Wild's slate when the champion produced it, watching as it dissappears into a blur of blue light.

"Seriously thought we were going to fight actual enemies, not naked dogs-" that got Wild a smack upside the head, making him stumble a bit at the force.

"Fo' tha 'ove of the fi'ce deity, wild, they ar' not naked dogs weildin' swords!" Wind yelled, exhaustion from reminding Wild over and over again seeping into his voice. He sees why Time and Twilight drink four cups of coffee in the morning.. Wind watches as Wild opens his mouth to make another remark and in that moment, Wind shoves his wild brother off the island, knowing damn well he could take care of himself. He doesn't care if he feels intense eyes staring at his back, so fuck off Fierce deity, no one likes you! Wind flipped off the sky, glaring at it with a glare that could rival legend's, before taking another bite of the Dragear pear, diving deep into the ocean while cursing out the god he despises with a burning passion.

Back on the ship, and the wretched god's eyes off of him, he and Wild are approached by a deeply worried Warriors, whose puplis let up some thinness but were still slits, that immediately started wordlessly fussing over the two before dragging the two under the deck and into where he made them a resting spot, herding them into it as his ears flick towards every sound made, before curling up at the bottom as he watches the two near immediately pass out when their heads hit the pillows Warriors had found.

In the morning, a few minutes before everyone is supposed to rise, Wild and Wind set to work wrapping the sword in a light blue sheet of paper, being careful as the ship sways and tries to ruin the delicate paper.

Three minutes later, and Tetra's gift was ready. Wild nodded to the sailor and gives him an encouraging smile before going up to the deck and moving into the small kitchen Tetra had. The smell of pastries awoke everyone else, all walking over to the center of the deck before sitting down, all groaning and mumbling. Wind laughed a bit to himself when he saw all his brothers, who are very strong and fierce fighters, all sleepily bickering about stupid things, like, c'mon Time, you should know better than to argue with Sky about loftwings being a real thing! You've seen and rode one! Multiple times!! Wind wanted to yell at his older, use to be younger, brother because hylia damn Time..

Wind groans before getting up and looking for Tetra, which wasn't that hard as she was at the top of her ship, steering the wonderful big bulk of wood with ease. She notices Wind pretty quickly and shoots him a smile before setting the ship a bit the the east, and then jumping over the railing and onto the deck, walking up to Wind and giving him a peck on the cheek. Her smile widens when she catches the subtle glint from the flintlock she gave him, hanging from it's holster on his hip.

"'M glad ye like i'!" Her smile now reaches her eyes, making them squint a tiny bit and crinkle at the edges. Wind smiled along with her, telling her how much he loves it before suddenly growing nervous, fiddling with his satchel.

"I uh, i got ya somefin', it's fine if ye don't like it!" He clumsy gets out as he opens his satchel and grabs hold of the wrapped darknut sword. "Buf i hop' ye do.." he added in a mumble as he pulls out the sword and presents it to her.

Tetra's eyes lit up as she gasps, gingerly taking it from him and unwrapping it to reveal the Darknut sword, making her gasp again as she gently runs her fingers up and down the blade, noticing the little chains of sapphire and rubies at the hilt.

"Happy 'ove day, Tetra" Wind smiled as Tetra threw herself into his arms, thanking him over and over again, as the two smiled at each other.

"Happy love day, Wind"
