Lexi.
Lexi wasn't a rare sight to see at the O'Neil household, but it was rare today. Fez wasn't even home, so why was she here?
Ashtray, of course. She loved him like a little brother. So, when he texted her, she rushed over, her legs sore from biking. She unlocks the door with the key she was given, when Fez ended up asking her to be his girlfriend.
"Ash?" Lexi calls out. "In my room!" He responds. She walks to his room, and opens the door. This is definitely a rare sight. He's in a tux, the tie laying loosely around his neck.
" 'Ion know how to tie one o' these. Fez an' Faye are.. somewhere." Ash says. "Ash, you texted me 'Code Red.' This is not a code red." She sighs. Nonetheless, she walks over to the boy. As she ties the tie, she asks, "Why are you in a tuxedo anyways?"
" 'S none of your business, Howard." Ash says. There's a lingering silence. "I wanna ask Gia to her prom, or whatever." Ash says quietly. Lexi could have sworn she saw a slight blush dust his ears. She smiles.
"How you gonna ask? Or is that not my business too?" She says. "I ain't figure that out yet." He responds. Lexi fixes his jacket. She can see the look of nervousness across his eyes. "She's gonna say yes." Lexi says, fixing the collar of his button-down.
Ash can't help but shake the feeling of rejection from Gia. "You really like Gia?" Ash nods. "She really likes you." Ash looks like a little kid on Christmas. Or at least that's what his eyes say.
She looks at her phone. "It's almost 2pm. You best go ask her soon." Ash nods and goes to walk out. But, before he leaves, he says, "Thank you, Lexi." He walks out. The front door is heard.
All Lexi can do is stand there. A smile forming on her face. He's never called her by her name. Only 'Howard' or 'Fearless'. This made Lexi feel that same little kid on Christmas joy. The front door is heard. "Yo Lex, you in here?" It's Fez.
She walks to him. "Hey." She says, that shit eatting grin still lingering. "Whatchu all smiley for, princess?" Fez asks. "Ash called me by my actual name. I know it sounds stupid but, he's never called me 'Lexi' before." She says.
Fez smiles and wraps an arm around the girl, and takes her to the couch. "Maybe he's warming up to you, princess." Fez says. Maybe.
3 hours later, after Fez and Lexi argue about what movie to watch, and the long time of Harry Potter and The Sorcerers Stone and however long they were into the second film, Ash comes home. By this point, Fez had fallen asleep, Lexi slightly dozing off.
"Lexi?" Ash calls out. Lexi is drawn out of her pre-slumber. "Yeah?" She stands up from the couch. Something VERY rare happened.
A hug. Ash had hugged her. She was frozen for a second. "Thank you, Lexi." He says. She eventually hugs him back. They both release, but there's something on Ash's cheek.
A kiss mark! "She kissed you!" She whisper yells. "Shhhh, I ain't tell Fez yet." Ash says. She nods, but there's that shit eating grin again. "Now, how the fuck you take this thing off?"
